Oracle and TikTok: What You Need to Know About a Deal

"Brad's team broke the news of the Oracle deal and his reporters had lots of questions about it like how much was oracle paying for Tiktok and what exactly was included in the deal They weren't getting a lot of answers neither oracle nor Tiktok have provided details of the deal. How it structured what happens to the algorithms whether any money changes hands all of these are huge issues that have still not yet been resolved as far as we know, it seems like the announcement was made to get ahead of this deadline and say we've decided on Oracle and we're going to work out the rest of the stuff later. We do know some things under the deal tic TACs parent company Bite. Dance would keep a big stake in the APP. And according to Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin TIC TAC would bring its global headquarters and around twenty thousand jobs to the US but one of the most telling details about the new deal is that neither Tiktok nor Oracle are actually calling it a sail. What would you say it is we're calling it a partnership. Nobody. Really knows, I mean tiktok calling oracle the quote trusted partner as journalists were trying to unpack that but it it seems like it's going to involve oracle. Talks data they're going to provide those services and get big fees for it. and. Does that arrangement address trump's concerns? Previously basically, the trump administration had to take tick talks word for it that it wasn't doing sketchy stuff with this data. Now Oracle's GonNa stand up and say you can take our word for it. One of the things that's striking about this deal at least as we understand it thus far that trump doesn't seem to have gotten two of his major demands he said repeatedly, Tiktok should be sold and that when it was sold the US, treasury would get a sizable payment as a cut of deal. Neither of those are included in the proposal to the US government as we understand it right now. So, will it be enough to satisfy the trump administration's ultimatum? That's the multibillion dollar question we don't know. An answer might be coming soon, a committee led by the Treasury Department that has to assess the deal for national security implications is reviewing it now. The committee will then bring its recommendation to the president. They will look at the proposal and then they will take it the trump and presidents historically do not get involved at all. But this time the President Will Steve Mnuchin the treasury secretary said this week. He will take this deal to trump and that trump will be the ultimate decider when asked yesterday about whether, he'll approve the deal trump didn't show his hand but he praised. co-founder. Decision Pretty. Soon. I have a high respect. Valeria was. Somebody I know he's been really a guy for a long time so we're going to take a look.

"Well, hold on, because you know Brad Pitt is still trending today, 12 hours after that table reader, whatever. It is, however many hours it's been and Holly did. Flip, Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt doing the table read of the masturbation scene in Fast times at Ridgemont High, Basically, Phoebe Cates and Judge Reinhold and You know what's his name? Morgan Freeman. Aridity, But I like that. You just clip that. Yes, well, there's a bunch of clips from the table read last night and a bunch of screenshots, including shale above his Spicoli. And Julia Roberts just being effervescent. Surely wass. Yeah. And I mean Kimmel and Matthew McConaughey. Hey, it was just really good, but the screen shots that people took of Brad Pitt. Ah, like, you know, they see, I never thought I had a type, but I was wrong. My type is officially Brad Pitt at 57. People are losing their mind. And then you know when he said how you do and you know the Joey line. Because It's really something to weigh. Yeah. Enjoy. You Got you Got a look at that. OK, So Jimmy Kimmel. Of course. He took part in that last night. He's back from, you know his three month whatever he did, you know, with his wife and kids that he took off his back hosting the Emmys on Sunday night and Thiss this report is from Ah GM and what is going to be a very different Emmys. Although Jimmy Kimmel will be broadcasting from the M E stage for a third time this year, he will feel a very noticeable absence. All of the nominees. Are you more nervous this time around less nervous because as you keep smiling, promo is what's wrong. I am nervous. I'm not nervous about my own performance and the response I will get because I will be getting no response. I've really I've settled on that. But I am nervous about the technical end of it because it's not something I know much about. Not something I can control. In an unprecedented technical feat. Each nominee has received an individual camera set so they could be live from their own homes. That means nearly 150 cameras streaming in all reliant on a very strong WiFi signal. Think about just trying to zoom with your grand parents. And now imagine that we've got 150 celebrities. You haven't made themselves lunch in like 19 years, many of them now trying to connect technically to an award show, and that's those of the challenges we face. All right. Just imagine the layout of whoever's directing. This program is gonna have to look at all of these screens and have a massive set up be ready to like troubleshoot. Also, at the same time, I'm actually really excited to see how this is all going to play out. Yeah, and you know what? I'm kind of excited. Maybe there's some people in Hollywood. Maybe they had to hire a just a ton. More people haven't been working. And heaven had, you know they haven't had a thing. I mean, I do know like I've read the story about like how the photographers the bank of photographers that are always at the award shows like All of this is hurting them with. Yeah, There's not a lot to photograph that. I mean, the award shows to go to our very limited carpets or anything like that kind of the bread and butter of what these photographers make. But at least from a technical point of view, I bet they had diarrhea ton. Production assistance and camera people in tech people, But with the court and quote below the line yes, probably a huge, very huge A venue. Okay, let's play one more. Have you guys given any parameters to the nominee in terms of how long they should go on speeches. The difference between people being in the studio and at home is we don't have a band in their living room to play them off the air..

"Com and we're on the My top cap is sunny. It is Friday, and it's our one of Lori and Julia Holly's in. Let's Have some fun guys lets that we're so happy it's Friday today here, just like a Happy Friday sigh of relief and it's nice outside and just nothing really on the agenda this weekend, either people have had their maybe their first full week of, you know, zoom school or whatever, However, school is looking for you. And I know there's a lot of exhaustion out there for that one and I've had a full week of being a producer and attack show. Well, what you liked so much since Danny loves God. All the haters that email doesn't said these two girls are going to crack up. You're right. We're starting to crack up. Ah, oh, honestly doing it with finesse. But Donny did text me today and he watched the first two seasons. First two episodes of Ratchet. He said that we're gonna love it. You're gonna love it. I will probably Julia, Julia, but she's not even gonna wanna watch it. Because I think it gets a little too scary. A little too. Perhaps gory. Yeah. No, she will be out the first scene. I think of that show if the descriptions are, Craig, all right, so we got attack about the thing. That was blowing up the Internet last night, and all I can say is that you know, Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt are feeling very charitable. One. She's got an Emmy to win on Sunday and she has been working for and I think she's going to get it is Alex Levy on the morning show and bread? Pitt is, you know, just trying to put in the bath. You know the bad girlfriend PR rollout, But when I was watching that last night because they re create the fantasy Scene When Phoebe Cade's jumps dives in the pool and Judge Reinhold is looking is she thinks that she's kind of see his face is kind of no Looking out the bathroom window? Yeah, that's the whole thing is that she's his sister. I think catches him watching her. And then yes, she walks in in the bathroom. The sister? Yes. Yeah, So anyway, just so they recreate this, you know on the guy's name is Brad laid by Judge Reinhold and I thought Morgan Freeman was He's great as the narrator setting up the stage for everybody. Yeah, he kind of made I mean, it was a It was like steamy in Lego O on oddly compelling way, But these two are actors. And if you think about it Is there. Anyone who plays the movie star game betterthan Brad Pitt? No, no. I mean, it's he's constructed the image. He has it here. He's laid back. He's got Samantha. It's managed, right. It's a brand and the performance is just I mean, he can perform anything. I mean, even if it would happen this, you know what the SAG Awards in January mean, that gave some tabloid like I mean, these two are gold. That's what happens when you bring the a list because I thought the whole thing was really good. Right? Because not only was Brad Pitt do in the movie star thing, Julie Roberts. Yeah, played the sister character. Yes, Brad Pitt. She and Kimmel could not keep it. Straight face. When Brad and Jen were recreating the scene. You know that whole scene the steamy sea they couldn't stop laughing because you know that they're just looking at it as friends because, Jimmy well, his friends everybody was friends and each other who participated in this And they knew what was going on. And they also had a game. That was the best table read. That's been done in this whole thing. I think, yes, well, it brought the star power. Yeah, it was the a list. It was the a list. It was a great script when you read a screenplay. You. Actually you're like, Wow, That's a really good story, and they did a good job. Let's not forget about Shiloh buckling ambassadors, Spicoli. He was amazing, shirtless in his car and smoking and appear to be the only one who'd memorize his lines. He took a very method Laurie. He's very him. I love him. He's kind of stole the show. I mean, it was all about Brad and Jennifer Aniston's thing last night, but he really did steal the show. I mean, Sean Penn could not stop laughing right? It was. I mean, I mean, we got in the fact that she had to keep calling him, Brad. And then he looks so tosel, DDE and all the right surfer dude Way hostile Bohemian and the double t sure beaded bracelets. Where do you think he wass? Um, I You know, I I don't know where he was. He was in the Navy. He just had a Navy background so because it felt like you could see that Jennifer Anson was like in her. Like a little like a room. She has because it looked like she was home. Everyone else's home. I was just wondering if maybe he was in l A. Or maybe he was in France. Well, No, no. Yeah, I don't know either. But I like what are you doing with that Nicole person, Brad, I don't know that he That might be just that's going to be like a fly in quiet, You know, hotel kind of a situation. I don't think he's I don't think she's going to be the new girlfriend. Because Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston still have chemistry together. It's so obvious it really is. Do we want it to be obvious? Well, I mean, First of all, they've known each other. I mean, they've both had to become. I mean, both of that. She really has Until she went a different PR direction. I mean, he milks that divorce and break up in the beauty Bermuda Triangle. I mean, it went on and on, but all of them did in their own way. Angelina did it. Brad did it. I mean, when Angelina and Brad were together, they would always have something to say if she had a movie coming up. Yes. So they've been tied and they know the business and I mean, I don't know. I think that they When I saw them they're natural encounter backstage because I have trained my bladder to go the bathroom before I have a full bladder, But think that I did it because then I saw them. Okay. Smart move. But you know what I mean. I saw them and they grabbed each other's elbows. Yeah. Okay. You know, when you like, talked to somebody like that, Oh, it's so good to see you, You know, and they were aware that people were kind of watching, but they were away from all the press. I mean, you could just tell that there's they do like each other, even though he broke her heart, But she's probably down the work and figured out how she broke his heart because she didn't have a baby when he wanted to have a baby, right. She still wanted to do Career stuff. Goto Kabo have her life. I feel like Jennifer Aniston is the kind of person she has her vibe. And she wants to do it and she wasn't going to change. No, And I wouldn't want to have a baby if I didn't feel like having one at that time, either going as say, so I understood it. But anyway, I think they they didn't even flinch. He two column Brad on Then you know the whole thing. I've always thought you're so cute. Or whatever it was. Yeah, Anyway, I like it. But, yeah, she LeBoeuf who's really good. So I don't know how much money that raised. But it's a Sean Penn for his. He's getting money out Tio for Corona virus and and something something else that he's doing with the money, but I think they raised Some dough Re mi les and I think they did too. Brooklyn Nets hire Hall of Famer Steve Nash as head coach

"Welcome to the low post podcast where the plan was to talk hilariously awful game sevens and DEFCON. In Milwaukee with the one and only Kevin Arnovitz but Mr Kevin Arnovitz about five minutes ago news dropped from the news gods on Mount Olympus of Basketball Steve Nash Steve Freaking, Nash, two time. NBA Mvp. The point God of the seven seconds less Phoenix Suns will become the head coach of the Brooklyn Nets. This is I think the first one since Brad, Stevens to Boston were like the news came although that came via a press release the celtics that one themselves where the news came like an earthquake with absolutely no warning no rumors know anything all the rumors moghreb Popovich a note, Steve Nash. So Steve Nash Has Minimal coaching experiences consulted team Canada. I'm not sure again this just happened I haven't looked up his exact role, a team Canada he was a consultant with the Golden State, warriors GM. You might have been the GM GM Canada. You're right. And I think clearly relevant in his consultation with the Golden State. Warriors developed a close relationship with Kevin Durant and I and they worked together in the off season a lot on various aspects of Katie's game in I interviewed. Steve Two years ago. About Kevin I wrote a big piece in the two thousand eighteen finals or so anti climactic that my big final piece was not about the finals at all it was about like what is Kevin Durant WanNa be as a basketball player like what is Kevin Durant? You Know Kevin Durant and his entire career has been. You could argue who was the quote best player on the team with the warriors not with the thunder he was clearly the best player on the thunder team but was never the lead ball handler of his team. So I wrote this sort of like, what is Kevin Durant and Steve Talk to me in depth about their relationship and about how after the warriors won the first title he and Kevin would talk about how Kevin did not fill fulfilled by. Winning that title in the way that he expected that it did not give him the fulfillment that he expected all this. So I, think that's obviously A big reason why Kevin by Steve Nash is now the coach of the nets. I mean the nets have lots of stuff to not figure out they have to superstars coming back carousel avert head. As you know like a superstar scoring run I guess in the bubble they gotTA figure out fits those guys I mean, what's your? What's this just happened? What do you think what's happening? So, one way to look at this is what is the head coach's role in two thousand and twenty, twenty one and to a great extent. Especially when you have talent like durant irving, you're in the talent management business, you're in the business of men managing relationships, empowering players the right way. Their XS and os no. By the way if there's anybody who's the personification of modern basketball, it's this guy or like everything you and I talk about every single time I'm on can in some ways be traced back to that son's team. So you're talking about a guy with an enormous. Basketball IQ and by all accounts and emotional IQ as well. So. So, that that is the case sport that that look that is the primary responsibility of the New Jersey Nets. Can you listen to me Brooklyn Nets had could they're

Max Has NO FEAR FOR THE DEER + Nick Nurse ‘Coaching Clinic’

"That's not a bad shot wasn't a bad shopping to see not it was a bad shot. But how did they beat Philly? Was that a good shot? Just tell me that was was that a Nick nerve-wracking. This is the best coach you can do we need to Coalinga. Is that the best player you go? Okay. So this is what is what I wanted to hear from you mind me getting that. I mean running off the corner going all the way following the way from the three-point line that that was the way you designed. This is where I'm getting that thing. Okay. So then let's talk about that. Then ignorant didn't have a play lined up in that situation or at least we maybe didn't have the the player. Maybe maybe that's it. In my opinion. He said, you know what they figure things out up to this point. I'm going to let them just keep going cuz I have nothing and that's a problem that's off. Can't be that kind of Coach into play. I believe in this situation that Brad Stevens to me and although Nick nurse is the coach of the year. I like Brad Stevens home is a knows better now like next Nur Nick nurses X's and O's I think he is. I think he gets guys in places. They need to be and it has really worked out well for so so I don't I don't necessarily think that yeah, you want some people that call timeout. Okay, you can call timeout but now you give the other team opportunity to self esteem. So if I promise up until you come down to your file before guy gets into the act of shooting Mean there are a bunch of things. You can talk about that. You can't talk about on the flyer. So that's a good point because you if you're Brad Stevens, I'm telling my guys to foul. They needed three follow. Yeah, but they they going to do that. They did not going to do that because they didn't have that opportunity to think about it. They just play what time on the situation you have more time to think about. Absolutely so that maybe it's why Nick nurse doesn't call a time-out init work off. All you were trying to do is get a decent. Look at it three point shot got a decent Loop. Don't miss don't miss out on this one. It's your chance. You know, Cedric Maxwell says go down absolutely had to betonline.ag today and take advantage of all the great signup bonuses betonline.ag your online sportsbooks experts and it now I don't know man. just feel like when it comes down like you say like when it comes out and accessing those late-game situations, I'm taking Brad Stevens over over Nick nurse all day them, but when Nick nurse but some guy told me later on or off. Yeah, some guy told me the other day on the radio from Toronto said Nick nurses by the arrestee was a give him a clinic in coaching. Okay. Oh, I thought that goes but this is my thing with him. This beef with Nick you you played out that situation, right? It didn't pan out obviously depend on welfare. But you know, you played that card whatever it is what it is right off of 20 minutes later. So it was a microphone in your face and you're gonna complain about oh Jason Tatum got their free throw line too many times all the favors. I mean, excuse me, all the referees gave him that one come on and while you're trying to put up there and you're trying to put something in somebody's you're trying to put some because if it's not working you're down to well, you're trying to put your grabbing it whatever you can grab that actually the course of the year. You're trying that your job. Well, you're grabbing it what you can grab it. See I can really hasn't been that guy you know that said, oh my God, there's no way to stop. I'll come David Jaylen Brown has done a nice job. I'm just I sewing being one off. Woman with G acha you gotta yeah, and they haven't really had to double-team. That's true. So, you know what Jaylen brown hair but his defense has been underrated. How about the time that Jaylen Brown? I mean you're talking about quickness thought he ripped off calorie calories was dribbling and it was like stripping. Well, yeah look like look like brown was in The Matrix the way he went across and grabbed the basketball game. Carolina was sent he was going back the other way know when the ball on the floor you you ain't got it no more. I looked at him. Where did it go with so long? I mean, it's been it's been eye-opening to see some of the some of the situations and even now down that bubble people talk about or you know, what's going on with Milwaukee Milwaukee is trademark what they do. They give up three's what does what does Miami like to do? Oh you take the reason you're walking Milwaukee is given that more FAQ. To anybody else. So Miami's Forte there strip is shoot the three. Yeah. So if you ever team does knocking down threes in a regular area off and you you're struggling right now with, you know, Yiannis and Middleton and you know, they play great against the Celtics but they've had a you know, Jonas has been if they use the series honest is going to be exposed again time to time MVP. I agree with that. Well, the biggest reason why I agree with that is because you you got a 27-point performance out of Chris Middleton office and you couldn't make that a win like that's a big. Well somebody else involved in this. Well, that's what I'm saying. You know his Lopez involved. Where is Lopez build out. 1 game? Okay lower game loading again if off on your scores Seventeen eighteen, you're in trouble. Well, we're we're and that's the thing about picking up your teammates like somebody who's like Kimba. Okay. Kimball didn't was barely scored and Marcus fairly score. Yep. You had somebody else that kind of shoulder the load until those guys got it together and you look at blood. So what's blessed done during the series always been a little banged up. So I don't I don't trust them this man. This is obviously I've never been like like that's always in my thing Milwaukee. Yiannis is going to be honest, but I don't trust your boys like your squad is shaky Milton will give you those 30.93 here and there but need to make sure those are wins you can give those up Jerry has travels big man. I really like Miami and new series. I just like their Focus right now, too. Yeah. I totally agree. I think again to see to me, it's Jimmy Butler Factor. Yeah, because they those dudes right now bam alabado guys, like they're they're taking on that same Persona is Jimmy Butler like, you know jumping off. Yeah. I mean Jimmy brother man. I mean he said about when you asked about guests and family come into the bubble was you said he I'm not bringing anybody man. This is a business trip. Wow. What Is Ormus

"Or miss. Is. Actually, kind of a known entity. Yes. A non-proprietary term four miracle serum, Gu. I've already said when we mentioned Ormuz before every time I said, I want to say almost because I'd only ever heard that term in the video game Diablo two by blizzard, the makers of world of Warcraft, and also you know the world of sanctuary, which is where the abloh takes place a one of my all time favorite games just in case you haven't played it. It's amazing. There's a character named almost lives in the city of traveling call and he refers to himself in the third person and he sends you on and stuff. You. Know speak. To. Office. You have questions for homes, US and doubt in yourself. But that is neither here. Nor there one fun thing about Diablo's that as you would pick up various weapons and staffs and stuff, you would learn little terms that you wouldn't have learned elsewhere. So I learned a lot of vocabulary and history in playing the album to and it. Just, never looked up or missed to find out where his name came from. But feels now like it's kind of appropriate because or miss is as sort of ill defined miracle Goo. Different companies and different people will sell. We are in particular going to be talking about on new alchemies. ORMUZ. In this episode and a couple other on who elk meat products. Yeah. Onto alchemy was the booth that we saw out the consciously expo and they were selling this. But yeah, ormuz itself seems to at least as far as the mythos surrounding it goes seems to go back to ancient Egypt Cleopatra Bathed in what she called milk and so they hypothesize Oh was actually and that's what kept her so beautiful young, right they being alchemy I've seen at mentioned on other sites so. As, well, they'll also mention Manna from heaven. Ancient Hebrews described that that was actually Ormuz, which is weird because that's not milk but I guess it can be kind of a solid and a liquid form. So it's kind of like one of those placeholder terms like we know there was a thing called Ambrosia of the Gods. Okay. Well, now, I wanNA make a recipe and call it Ambro Asia of Youth Right Ruth Serum Lemba Bread Lennon this bread that's from Lord of the rings that's their that's their answer to Mana. Okay. Okay. But then you wonder, Oh, how do I make this? Like what is. This hour do the mystical mystical Brad Wonderful Miracle Bread. Yeah, and some of these sites will define. As being orbital's rearranged Mon-. Atomic elements which almost arm o r m e can me the the Connections or Mrs this product of the Al Chemical Process, and it's tied to the the secret of extending life in the whole orbital early rearranged monitoring element. So Amman atomic substance is one where the atoms are not touching each other essentially. More than they are. The person using the word. Sure of. Gas. It means like you know all of these individual atoms are floating free and they're not bonded to each other. So the idea here is that this is gold that has been monitoring -ly separated so that each individual particle just has one gold atom within it. Okay. Sure and it's supposed to be a white powder but nobody that we're GonNa talk about today is actually using gold or doesn't seem to be as far as we know or even claims to be as far as I can tell us gold to create the substance. Yeah. So yeah, the company on Alchemy I don't think ever claims. that it is gold nor to they use organised to stand for that weird thing as far as I know. But yeah, I mean if you try to Google or Miss, you will get a bunch of companies and people making this thing at their little recipes. Yeah. They all have special things to offer about their arm right so it seems like the basic format is you take some neutral water, but then you add a bit of a an alkaline solution. So usually I see sodium hydroxide lye and four onto alchemy they're adding magnesium hydroxide. So it's slightly less basic, but it's like a milk of. Magnesia the kind of substance that would be used to help you digestive problems and then other places they'll add a bit of Dead Sea salt or they'll add a bit of Frankencense or whatever it is. They're adding some extra little material in there that makes it their special formulation of ormuz. So as you mentioned, we're going to zero in on this company on Alchemy we've mentioned the word Alchemy and chemical a few times here case you haven't heard that term before it's this very old idea that you could make gold out of something that isn't gold now chemical mixture and now decker cain would. Say it. Now, it can be used sort of a little left of center that original definition it will be any magical creation from things that shouldn't add up what you end up with. Yes. So originally, alchemy was just chemistry before anybody had a really good handle on it, and then starting around the sixteen hundreds when we actually started to figure a few things out, we I mean humans alchemy just became kind of the last bastion of these people thought you could do all these mystical things like prolong life indefinitely or turn simple substances into gold of course, everybody wants to make gold out of nothing. That, we can ruin its value. That's right. Yeah. So we can flood the market

Brad Pitt's New Boo

"Hi guys tonight, burning questions did a-rod pays off Jaylo before the Super Bowl. Towel annoyed Lena that rod supposedly dating off. Could you marry into this family? Let's get started. Welcome to. We miss you guys. Hi, Nina High Hunter. Lo. Look. Very, stealth Meena for a second I was just. Doing the show today and then I realized bright you couldn't even see me right to him. Oh Yeah. Yeah. WanNa tone. Funny to to show that. SETINA. Tone that. John told. US All right. We all know A. Rod, a super supportive of Jay Lau, but his strategy to get Jennifer ready for her big super bowl performances. Kind of backfired. They were on Barstool sports the Corp and revealed Alex's mistake. We went to the gym that morning and I was driving her and she was talking to me I was ignoring her I was like I'm not getting the way of anything is your day. I'm focused. We'll talk Monday and she. Talked to me. Like. Zone I'm just like I'm trying not to get away. Okay annoying or sweet. Well, I think like in situations like this like this is how I feel like whenever I would get into an argument with like a boyfriend they would let me let you cool off I want you to go off and then I'll come back and I hate that I hate the cooling off period like a mad. That's when I want you to come and try to make it better. I don't want to come in and talk to don't go silent for a day like so she probably wanted him to be comforting and be they're supportive not to. Give her the silent treatment. That's the opposite of ones, right? Right. I know it's already it's already clear that you and I are perfect mattress for each other. But this proves that even more because I hate the silent treatment both ways given it and I hate getting in fact, if someone's mad at me, I literally need to solve the situation or at least absolve myself from guilt immediately, and then let's go about our day I hate the silent treatment. I hate it too. But to be fair to be for I, don't think he was trying to give her the silent treatment i. do understand what he was saying like look it was a very big day for her. She had a lot of things to. And he didn't really want to be in the way and wanted to give her her space to be in zone but I think what you know. Right exactly getting into that and then. They think that it's the same thing like he he attacks at how he would attack. Going to play for a big game but I, feel like you know she's a performer. So it's different, right? It's also he could have. Just, not been there at all. That's why becomes more distracting if somebody's trying to go out of their way to ignore you when that's not something that you guys talked about. So next next super. Woke me. Yeah. Next time this ask a woman what she needs and then got how that. You'll know. Tonight's other big story off. You're not gonNA believe Brad Pitt has been spotted with model i. don't even know how we have put this together but. Standby while butcher her name except I won't. It's Nicole. petrosky. But. You're. Spinning. It's Petrosky. Okra. Right. Thank you. She's twenty seven. And he's fifty six okay. Reports claims. She's his new girlfriend and they're saying at his sixty seven million dollar state in the south of France. Remember France. Love it. Do we like Brad with a model? Yeah I like the the thing that I find funny is he's been hanging out with Leila Lot and you know that those conversations Leo the whole time was like I'm telling you. Go for someone in her twenties. It's great like he's sold Brad on this because I don't feel like he would have done. It had Leo not Ben I'd not been doing claymation they're doing in his garage every single night. Also. He's never done this before rarely he's always dated actresses that have been sort of like within his like on the same level and who have been relatively close in age. So the fact that he he'd Busta Leo I lay. On disappointed in Brad. Brad is like more of a deeper actor like not very surface or materialistic like you know he's always been kind of associated with being a humanitarian. So I expected a little different move from him. You know what I mean I expected him to show up with the woman who might be a host of a late night show you know possibly a black woman. You know possibly you know someone on the show nightly. That's what I was hoping

Now we all remember how do you feel as a loving couple back in the day they kept doing their mouths all the time but now things seem to be getting so ugly between them. Twenty twenty honey this year is a raging dumpster fire everyone. is so paranoid and scared for every single thing in their lives and if I was I. I understand his paranoia. If you're going to go to Germany, you're GONNA love it. Their schools are going to open your parents are there you get to spend time with them? What makes him think that she won't say Oh my God the kids and loving it here we're going to stay for another six months I understand. But the thing is it's like, okay I understand where he's coming from as well. These are his children. But when I was lied when I was reading the court documents, he literally says or his lawyer says on his behalf well, I understand that we don't have a specific schedule in place to see the kids but I still don't want them to live somewhere else like it doesn't seem like they're necessarily a weekly priority. It's kind of just like whenever he finds time to see them and I'm sure she finds that to be inconvenient inconsistent, disrespectful and hurtful to her children. So if she wants to go to Germany which all the points you made are valid the schools are open her grandparents lived there. She's German she's probably a national treasure. He can fly to Germany and spend time with his children the way he's been doing it in Los. Angeles. Well, that's not saying every week. That's the thing is with custody you use it or you lose it I mean, if you have the right see the people I mean he did say just to be fair in the arguments he did claim that she makes it difficult says that the kids are sick all the time I'm not sure what's true obviously but either way you can enforce to see your children. That's what. Your legal rights is according to their custody agreement. So He needs to make sure that he ensures that that happens I. Don't think that he's to win this one because she has really plans it out. She doesn't really seem to like have a reason to stay in Germany forever she is said, I'm leaving on this time I will be back by this time even though it's my Christmas I will send the kiss. Christmas. So, right Is Making a big. But that's but if you put that in legal documents and sides like even though the children's spent Christmas with sealed last year, I'm willing to let them spend Christmas with him this year it seems like she's really trying to work things out and I know that we've seen this sort of in the past where if she's saying the kids are sick or it's not time, it's probably because she feels like whatever he was just drop in and see his children is disruptive to their schedule. Yes but I mean. Fair either. But that's when you say okay this is not fair to my kids. Let me get this in writing and let's go to court and let's get a supervise in stable schedule. Don't bring it up when you're ready to move to Germany you guys have had uh Obviously. So hadn't seen kids on a regular basis in years go ahead and put that on file. But the problem is if a parent moves the children outside of a state line and the kids go ahead and get a life, they're they're in sports they're in school they're the mom can petition for kids to move the residences to another state. Imagine another country six, thousand miles away I don't know how to fight custody between California New York much less California in Germany standing. There I understand him being scared. But at the time I just don't think he's GonNa win this one because she's being very clear about coming back. I mean she's not really she's filming she's working. She's providing for her family show happened to be moving over there because of Kobe reasons and it is a weird time and I think you just have to be flexible. So I hear seals concern but I don't think he's going to win this one I think he's GonNa get to take gives you know what's also What's interesting is we just saw this with Brad Angelina as well where their custody case and divorce case had been going real smooth for two years and all of sudden in made a left turn because somebody thought somebody was influencing the judge. It's crazy that we haven't really figured out the facts of what this pandemic has on people. I mean when the Great Depression happened and the financial thought fall of two thousand and eight happened two or three years. Later we started thinking I got everyone's depress. We have the this generation of anxiety riddled people what's happening to people in the time of corona is this paranoia is really get into them and we're going to see a lot of stable and settled court in custody cases begin to get rocky because people are paranoid that their kids are going out and seeing people. I Love was fun at. People, you know that never knew the show got to see the it was fun. They should bring back at are rated version for likes cable off. That's a great night. That's a great idea yet. It would look intimidating as opposed to vulnerable. So when I sat down with them, I was like. How can you help me set design? Wise because they didn't want me to to to gleason day it CBS bio pic back in the day when they used to do movie the weeks and and they went out to everybody, and I was on Raymond at the time. And I said you know I'd love to called less mood this because. They wouldn't let me audition and I called them up and I said Mr Buddhism name is Brad Garret I'm on Raymond Psychos, you know. Raymond was still still we were like in the middle of where we were. And I said I'd I'd love to be able to read you know for the gleason movie that you guys are doing. And he said well. And I said well I was hoping I'd get. Read for trixie. Half I thought he was joking right and again dead silence and he goes well. We're out to John. A funny comedian he was British, but he really had the look, and he had the big blue eyes, and he was kind of a bigger guy and the right height and. But he was British and he had trouble losing the accent. And they call me at the. They had no one at the last minute they said. Get Montreal if you WANNA do this in the shooting two days. So the script was. You can only do so much on network as opposed to I always, said God if it was only on cable or something where we can get away with more, but what the script was. It was really just a send up to the honeymooners it was. It was more of an impression of gleason than really what he went through so I hired. A buddy of mine is a great writer named Dave boom and I said. Yeah, he will sell writer on Hollywood. We all know Dave Yeah I love gave, and and he loved that old. Yeah, he loves that time of you know that old that old Hollywood and that Kasich to. And I said you know it's really like. A characterization as opposed to you know this guy was was brilliant, but he was a womanizer, and he was an alcoholic, and he had a lot of demons, and we're not seeing any of this. and. They were so under the gun in behind schedule. They weren't looking at the dailies as much as we were worried, they would, so we just shot most of the stuff the way we wanted to and went off script as much as we could. While staying within practice and standards, of course so it it became a little bit of an anomaly as far as a movie you know for the network, and and the people very kind about I really loved it I. Mean I. Had the time of my life. It was something I dreamed of plane. And and you know didn't think I'd be able to, but but an intro. Lucky! I was GONNA. Say in true and true gleason style you through the script out the window. Yeah! Exactly what's interesting there too is like. Goalie sin now what people get embarrassed about and when they did the long awaited. The entertainer honeymooners. They didn't use salon at all, and that was him going. You know praying to the Moon alicja. Funny thing is when you watch the honeymooners. What people miss the point? "Yeah it's it's wait. Who is it Brad Pitt Patio and Robert Deniro? WHO's been in most of? Yeah Bobby I need audition for this one. I'm sorry you're up against against Brad Pitt. Leonardo DiCaprio Robert De Niro and Leonardo DiCaprio meet with Martin. Skirt says he at the city of dreams resort in Manila to audition for his newest film. Despite despite their long history of working risk says the two actors learn they are competing against one another for the same role. Leo and Deniro. Yeah Yeah because Brad Pitt. Hasn't been in a scorsese movie as he Not I mean it's weird that we did a whole episode out of it. We'd ever Seven years in Tibet Scorsese. Maybe he loves to Bat. Yeah now because he was Koon What was the name of that movie? Yeah he did and other Tibetan score says he explains that the potential role to muses as they continue to studio city in Macau as S.. Deniro into Capri listen both exhaust or says he with their personal cases as to why they are right for the part. This sounds actually kind of boring. While the three of dinner the hotel score says he becomes inspired when he sees an advertisement in advertisement off featuring Brad Pitt three make their way towards Japan. Were Deniro into Caprio. Make their final cases for the part score says he then suddenly announces that neither I for the role and quickly parts ways with the two as Deniro and DiCaprio wonder why they were not psyched. They catch Scorsese meeting with Pitt. Who had arrived in Japan on short notice Deniro and Decapa then realized that Pitt was chosen for the role and and the two walk off into the night and disappointment? What a fucking field so also the ideas? That Robert Deniro discovered Brad Pitt through an ad. Ed I guess it's like who's this. WHO's this guy? I've never heard of him. I never considered this cast. Robert Deniro has himself Leonardo Leonardo DiCaprio as himself Brad Pitt as himself slash. Aaron Cross us. Martin Scorsese as himself. Rodriguez Prieto Joe as himself in that other guy at it smells like the waiters. You know we're not giving people character. Oh no no no. He's he's the lead cinematographer for Mardi our okay So he's probably he probably has like one line where he's like Mardi. We have to get the shot yeah. I wonder if they paid him. Thirteen million dollars. I mean price paid like more than he's ever gotten paid DP PJ Chinese casino to be like. Hey you know what you need like eight minute long mini episode of the podcast. "Whole storyline wasn't a compelling part. For right yeah. That'd be fine in it tree of life good film. I haven't seen it and I keep wanting to see it. I think that's one where you'd go over the you'd be like all right enough with the art like I know that you're now one of those guys. Yeah but there is a threshold that that you would be. Sometimes I like movies that are just like yeah. There's just like a weird thing being in its art. I'll tell you I liked that movie But there is a museum by me. the Museum of the moving image image that does a lot of screenings and they were doing a terrence malick film festival. Yeah until like. They're playing all his movies on the big screen and I was like I really like tree of life in Alma member so I could go to the five screenings of it not enough to ever watch it again in even in like the way it was intended like thirty five millimeter. So you know. Take that as you will for posters proposers. Voters like me to pretend to like that kind of movie Well here's a movie that wasn't for posers moneyball. Yeah people like that movie. I like that movie is a fun movie you you know what I I thought. It was slight watched it recently Great frigging movie. Yeah once he it is I. I remember he was very good. I can't judge actors. Yeah I don't know if it actors good or bad movie but that's one of those performances where it's just like. Oh No oh this is what good acting looks right. What did he do? That was particularly in Apple. At one point talking is I How much of that baseball player cost ask this is good? He's so natural World War Z.. World Wars said. Have you seen that. It was good. It didn't follow the book that closely. But it was one of those movies where they like. Regional Brooks wrote the book Brooks throughout the bug. Was it mad cap. It was Albert Brooks son now. These Mellberg son thinks he's he's Albert Brooks son now. His Albert Brooks is last name. It's really Einstein that's true. I don't think he's Mellberg son. Let's his name mattress. Chris yeah the number one thing that I hate a podcast that I listen to when they start arguing about something that that they He is the son of actress and Bancroft in director producer. Writer and actor Mel Brooks that is Albert first of all obvious but to the next line in his his father is Jewish breath. Wait you're telling me. Mel Brooks is Jewish. Apparently they got for talks about that war Z.. was was one of those movies where they like Reshot the third act. Yeah and it worked like I think that's why they continue to like re-shoot half of movies movies because this was like in twenty eleven it worked one. Yeah this is like one of the first times they did it and it worked and apparently like save the the movie and made the movie much better so now they do it for every movie twelve years a slave which I haven't seen and I don't think he's like a huge part in that now. I think that was a thing. Well so that's the next one. I was well. I'll say. Hey this one Another cameo type. Role is He's in Deadpool. Two which is a pretty funny cameo because it's a a A superhero that's invisible. And he's invisible the whole time and then when he dies it's because he like falls into a power line and when that happens he turns Unin visible. And it's Brad Pitt. So the joke is like this. Is Brad Pitt. The entire voice the whole time. I don't think he talked was eating and a half the lead any was there just like you know he was doing. I mean he was being electrocuted. So He's gone. Oh yeah that's very funny. Yeah fury did you see fury. I didn't a bunch of guys in tank. I'm of the tank. The tank stuff makes me feel claustrophobic. Tanks and submarines. No thank you yes you would not like this because yes a bunch of guys in a tank and sometimes it's like boy a we're kind of safe in the tank if we get out of this tank right now. We're going to be in trouble but also we say in this tank long enough they'll throw a grenade aiden tank and get us. A lot of that. Might only happened once number. And how long was the film. MM-HMM I don't think the super long Shiloh buff is in it to the beef thing is a mustache and I believe the story from the set was that he refused to shower and smelled very very bad because he was being method. Yeah and those those tank thank guys during World War Two were not a shower and all the time they were in the tank trying to win the war okay. Then once upon a time in Hollywood I have a very weird question and I'm just learning about this for the first time. Okay once upon a time in Hollywood Is Not a true story. Brad Pitt in Lee. In order to Capri whose first I collaboration and I'm not talking about growing pains because I was looking at that episode of growing pains and I think he was before Leonardo DiCaprio's character was on the show. Do you know about the show. This movie the audition the short film. No the audition is a twenty fifteen short film directed by Marty. Martin Luther it starts. Robert Deniro Bobby. Leonardo DiCaprio Leo and Brad pit building fictionalized versions of themselves in the travel through Asia and compete against each other for potential role. All in Scorsese's next film with this just like a Chinese commercial for something an advertisement for two new Asian Casino. What it it's the most expensive advertisement ever produce reportedly had a budget of seventy million dollars? What topping the previous record the thirty three million dollars the actors reportedly received a thirteen million dollar fee? Each for the two days shoot. Who How did they make twenty five minute movie with a two day? Shoot I don't know Marty Florida's paid somebody. We also like a B unit director. I mean he he's in it yes as himself and he's also the listed director The writers Terence Winter Winter who like Sopranos Guy he wrote the Wolf of Wall Street. Heroes Vinyl the TV show a he created boardwalk empire. Okay this he's the world is such a weird place. Yeah I I mean you know. All of them are super talented but also it sounds like they were paid enough that it was like. Yeah what do you want us to do. Yes yeah you tell us and we'll do it. I'm not going to yeah. We have no artistic input here and that's great. That's fine fine. We actually prefer it this way because now we can spend less time on it. Yeah it's just such a bizarre is how was it what was produced deuce to impart by Brett Ratner seventy million. I mean cats is famously MRI like you know a giant flop because it cost one hundred million dollars to me and this seventy million dollars. Nobody bought a ticket to go see sixteen minutes sixteen eighteen minutes long. It's probably mostly just like shots at the Casino. This is wild. Yeah we watch that we should. We should watch that in the nineteen and eighty seven film hunk. Yeah and then maybe the episodes of Growing pains that he's in all right. We have our who. We should've done our homework. Next week will do Brad Pitt Park Art to see all the real shit He was also in Ad Astra. Yeah not to be confused with Ed. Asner ah which either watch it. I keep meaning to you because it seems like the kind of hard scifi movie. That's right up my alley and you WANNA come over and watch it. I WANNA come over and watch the audition. Okay we'll do a double feature. Why do you have it? It's available in streaming. Why do I have to come to your house? I've been trying to convince my wife. She's not into sleepover tonight. We'll watch it okay. I'm in call your wife sleeping over. She what let's just great. You can do that every week to call me to tell me anymore. "Let's talk about some of Bradley's Williams Billy's later films billy bread because nobody knows really Bradley I WanNa go through. I've some symbolist. I'm go from oldest to newest. Not Everything's on here but notable things are on here and there's probably a couple of notable things that aren't on here the notable films Of Billy Bradley Thelma and Louise which we already talked about. Yeah you know. Honk in that. That Gena Davis Great actress and a great archer. Yeah she still do that I think so. I don't know if she yeah I don't think she competes professionally another thing Davis's and old enough to compete professionally in arches. She's tooled yeah. It's it's sad I don't like that it's you know it's it's like it's a bummer. Yo You skip and things Tom Tom what did I skip. He was on two different episodes of growing pains playing two different characters. I mean I don't know I don't know those episodes the characters seen them. Yeah probably you to every episode of growing pains. Probably not in the Lakers. I remember tune into later seasons randomly and being like what this show is like a semi. Unrecognized yeah the six year old is now he's GonNa Mustache. Yeah Yeah what's his name is old Benjamin. He's older Chrissy. They age from a baby into like a singer Over a summer yeah. Mike moved into the Garage with a yet but then he moved out of the garage. I think thank you look. The families torn apart. Leonardo DiCaprio shows up. Yeah just you think. He was on an episode with Brad that'd be she's she's once upon a time in Hollywood. A growing injury union somehow thinly veiled recollection of their top. The growing pains Yes so I'm not talking about that. I'm talking about movies. Like cool world cool world. I feel like that the film the poor man's who framed Roger at the perverts who framed Roger Rabbit that's how I saw it the tell I perceived perceived of it yeah. I've never seen the film but it has an oddly positive legacy now does it. I think I remember about it. is seeing the poster at the mall. The time and Kim basing years cartoon character was named Hollywood. And the tagline was Hollywood. Really would if she could and I didn't know what that meant and even I don't really know something. She would have sex with them but cartoons students can have sex with humans. Maybe now okay so it was a movie where the cool world was like a tune world. Yeah and it was as a hardboiled noir thing right. Every cartoon human movie is a hard boiled new are active storewide. Why did it have to be that way? I don't know but I mean that's cool. World who firm Roger Rabbit Detect Piquiachu. Like all these movies. That's what they are. Cool World I meant to be respond or a play on who framed Roger Rabbit. I don't think so because I think it came out like I. It had to be Nassar. Maybe it was then. Yeah I don't know but hey I'm that they Gabriel Byrne head so he was in an an episode of tales from the Crypt Too scary but I don't remember it then. News in that movie a river runs through it where they were fly fishing. I think that was America's introduction to fly fishing. No of course not everybody in America but the general pop populations people with hats. They knew about. I bet it ahead of time right Jack Lemmon knew about it. You WanNa go fly fishing. That's my judging jank leverage I liked uh this thing about early time Brad Pitt. Early time early time early. Early career. he who is in so many boring movies. Yeah or boring to me as a child like Thelma and Louise seem real boring. Yeah well it's like a lot of talk. A river runs through it. Legends of the fall. Seven years in Tibet. Meet Joe Black. All these movies just seemed so God damned Boring Meteo bike with and boring meet. Joe Black was a good movie. Was it and that was later as ninety eight. Yeah yeah that that was after like seven and twelve monkeys right so that was after like I think guys like me and you were like all right. I think I mean to this guy and then you went at the C.. Meet Joe Black and it was like. Nah He's not being wack zied. You only go to see meet Joe Black so you could see the Phantom Menem. The Phantom Menace missile trailer. Before I forgot about that that that was attached eight-year-old that to pump up the office of Meet Joe Oh black by being like your first look at the news. Yeah exactly and people would go and wash trailer and walk out. Yeah because they didn't want to see the movie to see the trailer show black for some reason and I'm going to look this up but I I'm GonNa take a guess I'm GonNa say that. The movie was two hours and fifty minutes long. I don't know they make movies that long back now every movies that long but that was my two two hours and fifty eight minutes. Wow three hour move as insane in nineteen ninety eight. Yeah then. That's definitely that it had to been the cell to movie theaters like look. We're going to attach the new store. Yeah frailer to it. So you're not going to be able to get as me Screenings in per day. But YOU'RE GONNA fill them up. Yeah they're not going to buy any concessions considering to leave right. Maybe they'll buy some sour patch kids on the way out. That's the craziest thing to me. How movie times have gotten longer because I R I remember when we were younger? Got The shift just turning into. I remember when we were the younger but guess what Fox that that's that's are laid. We're just GONNA have to choose something to go with it. That's what it is too old fucks. Well the The thing was always like how many screenings can they fit. Yes but I guess now but that was back when there weren't as main multiplexes like they started building you're telling me VHS laser discs Of the multiplex that was back when they think screened The press is that our hugs. Thanks or no an elder statesman. She's Christ we're not that old thirty seven. Yeah people people are listening right now going. You think thirty seven's not that old that's true it Ha- hey I'm addressing dressing. You Guy who just guy or Gal that just thought you think thirty seven is an old. It's it's going to be there before you know no it. It goes into a point of an eye jarash it now. Nobody was going to say. Do all the things that you WanNa do like where we you were a relatively small town and the theaters were very old. Like in some cases you know from the pre fifties pre world war or two theaters and they had maybe two or three screens right because I remember when the multiply it was like. Oh this place has like a dozen thousand screens awesome and I think now. That's not going to say what I want to say. Say it just how exciting Tivat which at that wealthy flakes open and walk through it for the first time. Yeah and and just it's like there's a dozen place exerience put cheese. Christ remember the mat-su like a Martin Scorsese like The magic adjective the the cinema. When I was a kid? Yeah we're only a quarter All right true romance never saw me. Neither there. Is that a The the pinned.

I yeah that's Brad Pitt. I looked up In before we were talking about Will Ferrell. Yeah both of them. Like Will Ferrell was an in this movie. What the Hell O producer? Yeah cares and and now a days people know that yes. Some producers are producing literally producing the movie and some producers. It's like now they're just a famous this person and they introduced somebody to somebody else in vouch for them and they get a producer credit. William Bradley Pitt Founded Plan B. And that's like a production company that he actually Runs Jab with Will Ferrell is will Ferrell's producer on succession. Yeah and I don't think he's like in the writer's room now he's a producer right. It's production company. Did it right. But I don't think he's as intimately involved in. It was probably involved in the telling of it but then after that I bet he was like all right out out. Yeah I'll just be cash my check where I'm not a bad thing because it's like you guys know what you're doing you're going to hear from all wheel somebody here needs to stand up for producers reducers while you're slandering them is do nothing. I guess after the deal at the devillier before must assume that it's right but I could also see if he was a boy named Honk and he wasn't honk. You would be desperate to make a deal to become a Hong. "We work a lot with Brian. burks we tend to hear a lot of stories about Brad. Tra- living my personal favorite. Is Brad for living As a player showing up to Vancouver Training Camp and Fighting Gino Osijek. Where were you during this interview? Why didn't you tell me to ask that question? I don't know I didn't know why he didn't ask me to ask you about questions. I always ask you to submit questions this time. He just wants to do it. You didn't tell me. Do you want me to do what I tell you to do. Generally on this podcast. You're going to do an interview by yourself. You'll say I can't do this by myself. Come on that. You're creating this terrible impression of me. I was in Hamilton for the C. H. L.. NHL Top. How Prosper? I know but I wish I would've normally do send you a note. Is there anything I should ask. I didn't ask that one. Fading Gino Odjick because Brad was a tough player player. There's no question about that one of the things I really wanted to talk about was how do you stay above water and a year like this. 'cause I really thought that you you know there was a point there where he was the only spokesman in the NHL for everything that was going on and every word that you're saying is getting Parkhurst and you know so if you make a misstep you're really stepping in it and it kind of went on from there and pretty much did it. Every single day every day was an update and that issue was filled and scattered and littered with landmines. That you needed to stick handle around much like Patrick Kane. Decoding out a million bucks on the ice at the United Center as I'm watching Brad. Living with all those press conferences that he would do after the Calgary flames. James Game I'm listening and we're all waiting for like ooh. He shouldn't have said that. Oh that's a bad turn phrase it and I'm thinking like this is how Patrick Kane decode all those pucks that everyone's all L. impressed with like that was some really difficult stick handling the Bradsher. Living did this season us. And so that's one of the things we talked about and also we did the story recently about Chris Snow and they're pretty tight. So you're going through all of those kinds of things and when the interview was over actually it was pointed out that we didn't even mention what happened with Tj Brody Roti and it turned out that happily thankfully TJ brody is healthy but that was something that happened right at the beginning of all that too. He collapsed at practice. You know people. I think that you're dealing about hockey right when you're the general manager you're dealing with life and we kinda talked to him about how things that happen in life that you're not necessarily thinking thinking you're prepared for you're going to have to deal with. They suddenly come. It's like Garry shandling once said about the writers on the Larry Sanders show. He said you think you're writing a show about doing a TV show. What you're doing is re supposed to be writing a show about people? People that love each other.
