I've been doing this since I was 10 years old. Carl does searches and rescues of lost stuff in the river all the time. How much crap is lost in that river? So when he came across something gold, shiny and round, he knew it was special. Could've telephoned but underwater for a day or a year. He also had no idea. They sold them as a specialist. And now he's like I couldn't tell if it was that been there for 900 years or 10 minutes. I couldn't tell him underwater for a day or a year. He also had no idea how hard the husband who lost this wedding ring had been searching. How bed right He just gave it a once over. Yeah, it's gone. Let's go. Wait. What? It's your wedding ring. I'll find it. Carl posted the find on social media homeless campus. Burnitz cleared from the devil. GMC powers zero-emission goals with 2024 HUMMER EV SUV

"All right. So let's start with the hummer suv. So we saw the hummer pickup truck. It was super bowl commercial. We saw it at barrett jackson scottsdale. They auctioned off vin number one when it becomes available. I saw it in person. The white one the prototype. It's massive and actually looks pretty cool. It's it's pretty bad ass. And what they're talking about like thousand horsepower. Zero to sixty in three seconds the crab walk mode it just has some pretty cool features that easier. Not like i against e. v. I just don't like the idea of people trying to take away the things that we we do love right so you know the we'd live when the headline is says. Why does the new hummer why is the second version of the humber. All the league have eight hundred sixty hasely over. Getting the hummer that was released is the four door pickup truck version and now. There's the hummer evi. Suv that's literally what they're calling it. The ev suv. And it's just as cool. I mean it looks bad ass. It has a removable roof panel. I'm not exactly sure if that's more like a target or that's kind of a t top thing with some sort of you know spine in the middle but yes so. It doesn't have the thousand horsepower. It only has eight hundred and thirty horsepower. World that we live this. Is there's There's there's the dual motor and then the three motor version right. And it'll be six hundred and twenty five horsepower or the three motor version will be eight hundred and thirty horsepower. And i know that's a little less than what they were saying on the pickup truck version. But it comes down to simply battery size and space. That's that's what it is is. The pickup truck version has a longer bed any longer chassis. So it has more room to put a battery down the middle in between the tires of this thing. And that's it the. Suv is a little bit smaller. Arguably more functional right is far as driving around town. Or all. The the hollywood and beverly hills people are going to pick up these

"This story comes from the beverly grove area of los angeles and here. It is from nbc. Four is kim tobin. He was found dead of an apparent self inflicted wounds of an apparent suicide. So right now. Police are still investigating out here. Happened up to sixty six hundred block of maryland drive but we do want to show you some video from the news chopper. Four was up above when all of this happened and police were initially responding to a trust passing. Call this afternoon. And it's very upscale neighborhood. Then a gruesome discovery man around thirty years old was found stabbed to death. Police say at this point. It appears the victim was in his backyard when that man came onto the property stabbed him and took off. Police say they tracked down. That suspect a few houses away where he apparently had jumped some fences. He was hiding him when looked like a guest house in another back. Yard officers used tear gas and other devices to try to get that man to come out but he was found dead from apparent self inflicted wounds and neighbors here in this area. Tell us there's been a large homeless encampment nearby. They say been dealing with a lot of issues for the last several months and to hear this happening on their street is absolutely terrifying for them. When they went into the unfortunate person who got murdered the guy said. Get out of here and it stabbed him. It really is crazy. Three houses down from me all day. Three houses down there could have been me. Our city is broken and killed. Focus on helping. Police have not confirmed that. The suspect is a transient. They say they are exploring. Every possibility about what led up to this deadly stabbing interviewing neighbors and looking at any surveillance video that may have caught the crime muscular. See at this point. They are not looking for anyone else. Who was involved in this homicide but if you are out here in this area the area of maryland drive near san vicente and wilshire. Boulevards will be closed for quite some time again. We see detectives kind of going down the street door to door talking to several neighbors as they try to figure out what led up to this deadly. Clippers hit 19 3s, beat Bucks 129-105

"The clippers had a real good showing against the milwaukee bucks clip raining down threes resembling that squad. That got out to the hot start. They had a quick giant as the west number one seat earlier this year. They've won six in a row but no one is going to believe them until the playoffs but they do have all the parts. Even though a lot of them are sitting out. Paul george out of this game. Patrick beverley out of this game. Rajon rondo to this game. They're starting backward in this jackson. And luke kennard had a combined eleven threes. What happens when beverly comes back. Does he go into the starting lineup. Does canard come out more of a ball. Who has been impressing. "The family was worried that perhaps it was some abnormality that caused becky's death and they were not going to take any chances with their only surviving child right. Did they know they were taking her to the place that you know harmed her while she was in beverly scare and at this point beverly was the main nurse on the ward. Katie's heart stopped and the resuscitation team was summoned yet again. They were able to save her but unfortunately two days later she suffered another attack which resulted in the collapse of her lungs. Katie was then transferred to another hospital where they found that five of her ribs were broken. Did she survive hanging when they don't know why her is broken but attributed to possibly revival attempts. But there's really no way to know. In addition to that she suffered serious brain damage as a result of the oxygen deprivation. The doctors also concluded that katy had large doses of insulin and potassium in her system while she was lucky to be alive. Megan she now had severe medical issues. Such as partial paralysis cerebral palsy and sight and hearing damage. God you want to hear the sickest part of this sue phillips the mother of katie and becky had asked beverley allitt to be katie's godmother because she was so grateful beverly for saving her child's life. Beverly was a master manipulator. She made everyone think that she was part of being a victim. Here and little did this. Poor mother know that alex was actually responsible for causing the death of their one daughter and the irreversible harm of their other. That's terrible over the next two weeks. The incidences of trauma continued. Luckily however there were no more deaths but similar to katie's fate there were plenty of situations where children suffered severe complications. There were seven year old matthew davidson. Who arrived at the hospital. After a non severe wound injury. He suffered a heart attack but survived. Then there was nine month old. Christopher king an eight month old christopher christopher-peres good who were also injured by beverly while under her care next was one of her youngest victims a seven week old baby patrick l. stone who was for a minor ear infection when he was found unconscious once again after being in beverly scare in this case. Another nurse on duty reported that the alarm that alerts everyone when someone stops breathing had been turned off remember. This happened in an earlier case so now nurses saying this seems weird but again. No one really suspected anything. Suspicion slowly start to grow around this time but doctors and nurses suspected that it was perhaps an outsider who was harming the children they could not have comprehended the idea. That one of their own was inflicting harm on these patients. And keep leaving. They had not contacted authorities to this point. I've actually seen that happen with other healthcare situations hospitals are usually afraid to contact authorities. There are also the they worry about their negligence issues. Things like that and their own liability. Yep but i think because they didn't sound the alarm earlier you know. Some of these terms could have been prevented app anyway. Finally in april nineteen ninety-one beverly's killing spree would come to an end after a fifteen month. Old girl claire. Pack was admitted to the hospital..

"beverly" Discussed on Women and Crime

"Most people say she acted very strange in this relationship. She demanded that she become his girlfriend and when he gave her a ring she declined and said she didn't want to get married but then at another point she asked him to marry her a lot of strange things. She refused to hold his hand in public she. She reportedly would only sex him once a month. They had very violent fights in which stephen was the victim of domestic violence. She would need him in the groin. She also had a habit of lying. She made several claims that she had been raped and that stephen had aids. Oh wow she also claimed that even raped her but all of these things were never corroborated and likely ally when you at her previous behavior but her behaviors continued when she was suspected of smearing feces along the walls of a nursing home where she trained. That doesn't even make sense to me to be honest. Now i don't i don't i don't even see where that fits was any pattern but okay god so that's just an example of this kind of odd behavior. She was having her. Attendance was also very poor due to the amount of illnesses illnesses that she had and as a result of all of this. She ended up failing her nursing examinations. Well it's interesting because you said she dropped out of school so she must've gotten a ged then gone back and for nursing. Okay i get it. I'm putting it together. God despite beverly's history of poor attendance and odd behavior. She was hired on a temporary six month. Contract at the chronically understaffed grantham and cast of in hospital in lincolnshire in nineteen ninety and this is where beverly began to work as a nurse in the children's ward at the time there were only to train nurses on the day shift and one for the night so when she started. It was very much understaffed and it seems that. Even though she failed her nursing exams they may have been desperate. And that's why they were giving her like temporary contract. Okay people. She worked with started noticing. Strange things about her behaviour not long after she began working there while talking to other nurses. Beverly would often make strange statements at one time. She claimed that a poltergeist stuck a carving knife into a pillow that this poltergeists had set her bathroom curtains on fire and fed tablets to her. Landlady's dog none of this makes sense. Nor is it supposed to make because you're looking at me like what are you well. This sounds like delusional. So i'm not sure if she's now blurred the line between you know what i mean like exaggeration to delusion yup and while she worked at this hospital the police were called on two different occasions. One time to investigate a kitchen fire and another time. They were human feces found in the refrigerator. All my god. A few nurses express that they thought that beverly should have a psychiatric examination but they never said anything to her. I don't know if they were scared of her. They just felt like it wasn't their place but either way it was at this hospital that the tragic events at the center of today's episode took place. There are several victims in this case. And of course they all deserve to have their stories. Heard i'm going to discuss each. But i'm not going to spend too long on the specifics of each case because for the sake of time. I wanna make sure that we are able to talk about the arrest. The trial the aftermath of theory. So i might not so much time on victims as we normally would like to..

Ben Silverman - Ececutive Producer of The Office

"How did you discover the uk version of the office. I was at my friend. Henrietta conrad's house. I was not an agent. I had left being an agent where i had found everything from who wants to be a millionaire to cracker queer as folk and had translated them into america as the packaging agent and i laughed. Backed by barry diller to start my own company called rally and i had just begun reveling in win over to london for a work trip and was staying at my friend. Henrietta conrad's house and we were watching television. And i was literally flipping the channels and i came on to the office. This is episode one or two okay of the uk season one office. Wow and i was watching it. I wondering if it was for comedy or for real than quickly recognized what it was doing single camera no laugh track faux documentary with people who felt real and i kept watching and started laughing. And it's really hard to make me laugh. And i was falling in love with the show in that moment and then i started thinking about it the next day in the morning and i asked henrietta if she knew ricky gervais as and she said no but her friend dan. Mazer did and we organized and had dinner with dan that night. Which are twenty four hours after you after you see it for the first time on television. You're having dinner with someone who could get you to ricky. Yes and additionally. I also wanted to be with dan. Dan was sasha baron. Cohen's partner allergy was on television. Was allie ardor your then no in the uk okay. But i'm with dan mazer yep. Dan is lovely brilliant in his own. Right and i start peppering questions about the office. And he gives me ricky cell phone number and so the next day. I call ricky around eleven o'clock in the morning and introduce myself on the phone and say i'd love to meet you. Are you in town. He goes actually. Yes me in soho at the starbucks this afternoon and i coordinate a meeting and i spent an hour with ricky talking about the office and very quickly we got along because we both love television and he truly was making me laugh even in those moment right over over the coffee at starbucks and so he clearly had chosen the location of the starbucks because he then says to me oh good news. My agent is right around the corner. Let's go meet with them so it was almost like he met me confirmed. I was okay roy. Conversation was interesting and then we walked over and met with dunkin' as his agent. And then duncan and i began a three month process to secure the rights. And it wasn't until dunkin. Help me unlock it. All that i realized. Both the bbc and ricky controlled the rights. I needed ricky and stephen merchant to actually get it done and agitate to get it done otherwise. It was never going to get done. Got it so you you deal with the bbc. And you deal with ricky steven. You have this partnership in place and where do you go into the united states. I immediately start making phone calls and saying. Are you aware of the show the office. Do you know what it is. Do you think it would interest you. And this is probably now a month after are so run. The show has started to gain buzz. It's aired its cycle in the uk. Its initial six episodes and so it has an awareness. Now it's a thing right not a big thing but to anyone in england it in the television industry. You're aware so. I'm i'm back at the states reaching out to people one of the incredible things about hollywood which was a huge advantage for me to do. Well was that people in hollywood are pretty insular and don't like to travel. They think you need a passport to get from burbank to beverly hills. That is travel and so many people at this time in american television had no clue connection about anything beyond la. Right and only one exac at the time knew what i was talking about was a guy named nick grad. Who worked at fx and he knew what the show was and he loved the show. Kevin riley was running fx. At the time. I'd gone to less mooned us he passed. I went to gail berman. She passed immediately. Didn't get it. Hbo said we'll never do a remake. They clearly have altered that thinking that that time they were like. We won't do a format and showtime wasn't doing shows like this right. I didn't go to abc. 'cause i just knew it wasn't abc. Right and i was starting to tease. Nbc with it and kevin than got named the head of nbc. And i bring it up to him. And i say would you wanna do it here and kevin says absolutely little. Did he know he was actually my only buyer that time. He was the only one right who wanted everyone else. All of television everyone else had passed. Now are you in kevin's like let's do it. Like let's let's make it. You know i'll give you a pilot movement and then kevin's boss though. Who is very involved in his life. Jeff zucker didn't really like it that much because it was his single camera. Nola back injury. I got it like it was a hard pill for them to swallow. I was also like they didn't want the game show back in prime time when i brought millionaire. Everyone thought that was cheesy. Daytime like no no. This will change. Tv know you gotta look at it from how to push the genre and pushed the envelope. So that you can expand versus always play for defense right and i was like this is another level and this is potentially transformative of television and with that can come great great

You could say system within the body because this a overreliance on nerve signaling which will discuss the little bit light run with But i'd like to hear your inputs about fassino. And how much muscle testing actually are the connection that uses that signaling mechanism because of this some researchers reading up about that fast yet at can actually act as a signaling mechanism. It's a lot faster than denotes. Because it's mostly relying on water in this. Signaling is obviously la forces for water than through physical media. So how much of that have you looked into have you. That's one hundred percent sure that actually gets to the fourth phase of water. Jerry pollock is a researcher at the university of washington. Part of the problem of our health. Is that our water is signaling as well at our. Our water is dead. Water like ideally Metal pipes the problem. Is you know the water's going through the pipes in the water. That's flowing at the outside of the pipe. Slows down into the water in the middle is flowing faster so kind of splits. The water like living water water in streams or brooks anything. That's moving and flowing is really healthy and that kind of plays into the show. Yeah you're absolutely right. It's deeper than i. Don't actually think. I think essentials are really good for certain things and i think other things are better. I think structured waters actually Better for the last year. I think oils are so. I haven't done a deep dive in my own research. But you're one hundred percent right. It's an interesting area. Might do some more reading up on that site. They believe glyphosate interrupts fascist signaling. There's a woman. A researcher named stephanie sent off. Who's done a lot of good research on that. I would start with her and then my friend. Dr christine softener also talks a lot about fashion and the role. It plays just in kind of healthy cellular communication well. That'll be an interesting area that i'll look into as well coming back to the essential oils. So you started testing on. Obviously a gift and you started testing. you'll need was to regulate to basically get to a balanced system. So how did you start looking into the link between the essential oils and the vagus nerve had known about the vegas nerve. I'm i'm a yoga girl and i Pretty much talk about the vegas nerve. In all of yoga and the paris of the fedex st and how would just for the listeners. That don't know the vegas nerve. A start with the autonomic nervous system which is basically controlling all of your automatic functions on namic automatic. You know breathing. Your heart beating your digestion. Your toxic occasion your immune system. You don't have to consciously think immune system turn on you know it doesn't automatically and your autonomic nervous system has chew gears it has kind of the accelerator which is if there's danger it shifts resources to keep you alive. That is called years sympathetic. Kreider flight nervous system and the resources it shifts. Is you know your energy. So your blood flow your oxygen your heartbeat faster your breathing intensifies and your blood pumps to your muscles in your arms and your legs so that you can either fighter fleet and it pumps away from your organs of digestion and detoxification and then ideally the danger passes and you switch lanes in to the parasitic pathetic break rest digestion hill lane. It is your vegas nerve cranial nerve number ten. That is a toggle between these two systems. And it's not that one turns often one turns on. It's more that one is prioritized right. Like if you're driving in a car and you're on the gas you can still break. The break isn't not working. You're just focusing on the gas at the time. And so the vegas nerve can help you shift gears. And it starts to the back of the had kind of goes behind the ears on both sides and then winds through every organ digestion and nervous them it sends signals between those oregon's and your brain. It's kind of the information highway between your gut and your brain your gut brain access. And what's fascinating. Is that activating any point. You know that the vegas nerve touches like the breathing breathing is a really easy way to on if you make your ex hair longer than you're in hell you activate your vegas nerve but people for whatever reason is easy as breathing as it was very hard to get compliance most people in order to heal. You have to be in the right

Well they said it would works for. Ptsd so you had a lot of PTSD. I didn't have a lot of PTSD. I had I had four specific things I was going after and I and I worked with the I do exactly what they were. I spoke with him a few times to kind of nail down. I went after it. I mean the way that I did. It was not an clinic. It was It was privately and it was. It was immensely helpful and when I say to you you know oh I do. I need to have a Man. I. I'm not saying that to use a self deprecating thing. I'm saying that as a woman who understands her machinery. I'm saying that as women who understands her creative machinery I became an actress because Neil OC- form and said under leach cool. You have to decide if you will be a good girlfriend or a good actress and I thought what to see need more. He needs someone to star in his movie. I can do that. I wanted to be a singer and I was singing jazz. And kind of writing these plaintiff little songs candidate and Ronnie Hawkins is bandages. Left him at gun on the road is the would dylan is hawks or whatever. And he said you know. Stick with me the party through silk so I learned all these rockabilly tunes. It's always been in service of some man and I always get out of it carrying the pearls but it just that's that's my machinery and I'm kind of into it. Although I have of late thought is. It really might just trying to get to that. Universal that universal consciousness were all of our hopes and desires in in creativity lies to some art. Here's what I think I know. Sound like a bullshit. No I think some people think you're probably a little crazy and some people think you're genius. What's so crazy? Let me? I'm not on the genius. There's a thin line. I think what you're saying makes perfect sense to me. Some people have whatever that. Why do I want to deal with those exactly? That's my point but what was mine. What I'm thinking is this. I know where my mind goes in millions of places and I could feel like all all over the place which I you probably feel in a lot of ways to open right but then I sort of feel like you know. I'm like you know I'm this and I'm thinking of this and I'm thinking of this and how do I calm my mind? Now there is that one thing I think it was Einstein. That's why I go to therapy. Just because I like to channel all the shit for an hour and a half and then go I feel good. It's off my chest. I do it in a different way. I write songs. I work on my shoes. It I used manage. Yeah use it see and I mean it's it's getting frustrating because all the work that I've been doing since last. May I don't have something to show for it so it does sound crazy on his? I'm using it. It sounds crazy if I was just in a normal life and I wasn't And I didn't have any creative outlets. Go Yeah maybe I should do therapy. But that's not where I'm at but I think you know I'm not at that. I'm into that by the way if you say you're crazy because in a year whatever you haven't figured out a one woman show. That's the genius that you've been thinking for your for how many years it takes time you know what? Rufus said he said. I should just book the cake and then I'll have to do it. You know with somebody else just told me they said again people always way. Here's what he said is. Actually you know who this was. This is Billy Boyd. But he said people are always wanting to perfect something to rehearse it so much and then for because they don't want people to think or show that and he goes. That's just part of it but I know. But here's the thing that is my second phase my second phases in April and Kirk comes back from there with tweet Zo and we are going to put it on. Its feet the last question. Yeah has al. Did you ever ask Albino? Fuck about the poster. No nothing sexual. Nothing I said poster. Oh Oh yeah. Yeah you're GONNA get him and he'll do that you know. I'm GonNa ask you about this. Did you ever ask him to run lines or did he ever ask you run lines? I just think that defunding watching you guys on lines together going to indulge in this kind of psycho fantastic fan based line of questioning. It's really demeaning. And you shouldn't do that. It's way it's demeaning demeaning yourself when someone attaches it's a fan like thing that means they put someone above them. Don't if you put someone above you you're putting some of its Kidman and someone goes at Chevron lines of the ago she did say none of Your Business. Fuck you beverly Dangelo. On the PODCAST. I said I was interviewing my friend. Jamie Greenberg and we've both gone through trauma. We both lost a loved one and I just want to say this today would have been my dad's sixty second birthday so I think it's very appropriate to bring this up. One lady mentioned the blog. She's like I guess. On one of my podcast episodes I had said listen. I don't have tolerance for people who say unimpressed. Anxiety when their life's going perfect we all have shit that's going on but I basically meant it in the sense at call me when you've been through some shit like at the end of the day we have to figure out a way to pull ourselves up by the bootstraps and keep tracking. That is what I meant like Homey when you have just lost a loved one and you're in the thick of it then. Let's have that conversation. Trust me I deal with things. Icty I've I've had panic attacks on the road and things are going great. I do understand some of it but some ladies comedies. Like Heather isn't supportive of mental health. "It was Beverly and besides singing and song writing Beverly is also an actor and a mom you're listening to the song that inspired the story right now yellow dress it will use this is not our next story is from a man in Detroit his question comes via telephone here's lead Thomas I'm standing in line at the grocery store and I'm there to get the essentials you know pop tarts olives for the paper I'm a dude and so I feel this guy staring at me intensely I can feel like he's burning a hole in the side of my head it's intense you know he's looking at me so hard it's like she smells something terrible he's just quick face looking at me and I can just feel it now usually that's a problem someone staring at you you give a mean face you know the face you use when you're walking down the street here in the city or any city you want to be left alone and given that mean face and they stop looking hopefully but this time I decided to do something different because the truth is is I'm not a mean dude kind of the kind of guy who cannot always has fun but as little as like the sing song kind of do a little dance studio just smile to make people smile in people would stare at me so I usually say it's because I'm devastatingly handsome I call myself the spotted Denzel Washington what's up girl but the truth is I have a disease called vitiligo it's two percent of the world's population has it is not life threatening it's not contagious but it does get you a lot of attention get you a lot of stairs so today instead of giving me face I decided to do something different I just let him stay here in men did the guys there I'm putting my stuff on the conveyor I'm checking out he's checking out on the other island he's looking and I'm let them look and I think he doesn't know that I'm let them look what he's looking he's lookin and we both check out at the same time we head towards the exit and he still look it in so we get to the door to leave and we actually make eye contact face to face and I just decide I got a break this and I look right at him and I say Hey buddy what's up and he won't hi and I think at that point he realized that he was a grown man staring at another grown man which you know is usually a problem so I wanted to break the ice a little bit and not make their tension and I I I said if it's a disease cover like a man it's it's not life threatening it's not contagious it is just kind of cosmetic and it just looks very different I I get a lot of attention and then the guy actually asked me a question the lancers question and we talk a little bit me ask me another question so I end up talking to the guy in the grocery store for like a good five minutes it it it was good in the end of our conversation he says to me if you don't have in Largo it's vitiligo but you know he was trying if you didn't have the Largo you look just like that guy on TV and I left it on my laptop I go high yeah yeah I get that all the time but you know I go to my car and I I just sit there and stare out the window because the truth is is in the city I live in Detroit I am that guy on TV I in the anchor of the morning show I am a reporter for a local station and I have been covering my vitiligo have been and still do cover my vitiligo with make up when I'm on TV and most people never even notice so for him I am that guy not wearing make up on TV is not a big deal this is New York you guys know this if you're on TV you got to cover blemishes you you gotta make it the sign go away make up is not a big deal on television but not only am I on television and entertainment reporter so I interview I'm gonna I'm gonna cosmetic job in a superficial industry and I interviewed the most beautiful people in the world right so I cover my face with make up because I don't want to lose my job I think if they know what I actually look like then it might kind of be over so I just do it everybody else on TV does cover it up and keep it moving and that goes pretty well I cover everything except my hands the vitiligo the pigment disorder you just lose your color for African Americans it's very drastic you look like you have some white spots all over your body but the hands completely go away no I tried to cover my hands with make up and it's brown make up follow me here you have brown make up on and you touch any part of your body during the day you're going to have a brown spot you shake somebody's hand they're going to walk away with brown on their hand you know like I do this is my mom's fault I'd rather people think that I have a disease then thirty because my mom you know this is hard my mom would always say we may not have a lot but at least we're clean down to the underwear thanks mama the so a cover with makeup it worked have a good career many years one day this lady calls me she says her son has vitiligo people with vitiligo noticed the hands in the call or write a letter and reach out that's cool she said her son wanted to talk to me and I said okay having call me after the newscast tomorrow and he did the fourteen year old kid he said that like go for a while he had straight days the kid was in the karate he seemed like he had his head on straight and I talked to the kid for like twenty or thirty minutes and we go back and forth with vitiligo stories and we talk about how to deal with the stairs and all kinds of war stories it was a good conversation and then he says Mister Thomas I have to ask you a question anytime someone announces a question you know it's something so I go okay he goes would you show your face on TV without make up on and I was like hero okay you because my boss had been asking me to do that for like two or three years in the news director and I wasn't gonna do it I was telling her let me think about it because you can't tell your boss no this is nothing you can do so I tell you let me think about it because I know I would just end up seeing watch the black man turning white tonight at five did they get that done a promo that's going to run for ever thanks to ready for that so this kid asking me the same question was different than my boss so I said to him why and he says if you show people what you look like maybe they'll treat me differently wow the kid blew my blinders off you know those blinders that.

"It was from people who thought that she was awesome in a weird way. So anyway, I'm Alison fan. Okay. Tell me about the the casting of Dana Wilkie and Carlton because they were definite characters. They were great. So Dana was friends with Taylor and had been. Yeah. So so that's that was our connection to today, and they were close. Friends and Dana had appeared on camera in season one before becoming part of the extended cast is a friend in season two. And so that's that's that story. And then Carlton, I think was a client of the same facialists as one of the other house lives. I think that's backing my brain to remember how we we got the Carlton, and I think that's what it was when you had to show up to still mean in her backyard, and there were women on stripper poles. Did you ask yourself? How you fell into this television dream or did you did you worry how would play out for viewers? Well, I think the the a couple of things one is the the fun thing was that that actually is a very Beverly Hills Hollywood lifestyle. So we like that it was someone who was not at all pudding any of that on for the show, but who really live that way. And and anybody who lives in L A knows that it is is it's a place where you find someone living in a twenty million dollar mansion who host parties with strippers on poles. And so that's a real thing. I think that one of our concerns was that the audience would actually get to know Carlton beyond all of the crazy extra Noel, you know, sort of features and and wild things because wanted to make sure that they would give her a fair shake. And so that was one of the challenges is not sort of typecasting her by by some of the lifestyle features that were really over the top that of course, we really like television producers, but I think might prevent you. From digging little deeper and getting to know the real person. And so, you know, I think that was hard for her and her one year on the shell tell me about the casting of brandy Glenville was her connection to the cast brandy new Adrian through some mutual friends. And and so, and it was not terribly close to her. But they knew each other. And they had I think had if you've dinners with friends, and so that's how the touchy came into our world, something, I always wondered was is there within the show sort of the caste system. Like, I feel like Kyle is like old Hollywood old money. And then you have somebody who like brandy, for example. She's the she was the housewife of soap opera actor. So it's just like any other city in DC or New York. There's there's a sort of a hierarchy is there one that exists within Beverly Hills and within the show. Well, I think within Beverly Hills. I think. Not necessarily as much as with other cities because Hollywood is very fluid and people are up people are down. And and I don't think that it's as much based on lineage completely. So I think that it is it a little bit more open than I think other cities are I think within the show itself. We really take great pains not to give anyone any any sort of special status. And obviously people who've done the show for Weil. You know, have a certain sense of establishment. But, but we know I mean, I think that you know, we really we want everybody in the on Somboon to be valued. And we want to give everyone a fair chance to be the best that they can be and and really as lame as it sounds. We always do save that everyone is only as good as the unsolvable on the whole. And I think that that is. I think that's really true, and that could be tough obviously during production because the the shows obviously feature the ups and downs of relationships between the cast members. But I do think that it's important for everybody to feel like they are a part of the group and they're all valued..
