Mike Beland was washed away into the night as Ben was hurled through the air before landing with a splash into the water behind them. The richelieu apartments crumbled into nothingness fading into the waters like a sandcastle on the beach. All all those left inside including the building's owner Merwin Jones were killed in an instant Ben twirled in the ocean water not able to see anything not able to gain control of his limbs. His head briefly briefly popped above the water he gasping for air only for a flash of lightning to reveal that he was careening toward a large tree trunk with no ability to stop himself he braced for impact as he smacked into the would it hurt but he instinctively wrapped his arms and legs around the object. The water continued to rush past but he was able to hold on the rain saturated winds of a hurricane cain. Make it impossible to breathe in the open air. Ben Tried this but found the oxygen sucked from his lungs as if a vacuum were placed over his mouth his only recourse was to bury his face in the grooves of the tree which he found functioned as air pockets this would allow him to survive. He endured in this way sucking air from the grooves.

"Well, what does the program does them program knee? I mean where they are located where this program is right now with John Beland has left should he be getting a honeymoon and we can talk about that and twelve o'clock hour before we do before I hit a break. Let's go to John in Brighton. John. How are you today? Good good. Think thing that call guys see I think that go way overblown to the, the biggest thing college basketball today's recruiting. And if you want can come in there and get Jalen Wilson to stay and he can bring in, let's say, you know a five star next year or something like that. He's not gonna need the Xs and os as much not going to be like, John. Nobody is. But how many guys the other candidates that we've been talking about how many of them have been calling them for interviews? I don't think any, you know, John, how is ready interviewed for three NBA teams. I don't know if they were serious about when their immune. But I'm just not concerned about it in college basketball, you get one and done, and how much Xs and os did day is get with be line before he's gone. And I think that's kind of feeling less. He's just tired of recruiting bringing a guy try to coach him up. You want to coach them up, and then it's like, hey, see later, I'm gone. And you know you have to do it all over again. And so, I just think in college basketball, it's not as important, and I think Howard can go into those markets. And paul. Oh, kids out that quite frankly, they can just beat people with talent. If you can get those crews, I'll be can't. And he has to bring in guys like you guys said, you know, he brings in maybe guys are outside the top fifty outside of top hundred. Then it's going to be hard, then it's gonna be like you need a, you know, X guys are all sad five guys. He was your best guys far as your Xs and os anyway. And he was that he wasn't Jalen or Chris, where they just relied on the talent, he relied on actually positioning and things like that. So I think, you know, he's got the best shot of anybody, you know to do that. So, you know, I, I really wouldn't worry about. Like I said, I'm I don't know what do you think about as far as recruiting of it? Yeah. You know, it's interesting. This is what your banking on. John is your Bank on this guy being a great recruiting in your which are hoping is that I mean, let's face it, if you look at the last couple of national champions. If you look at the last fifteen years of national champions. It's it's maybe not like singularly the most talented the team that has the best recruiting because that's been Duke, but it is a team. That's Uber talented has great recruiting. And then maybe has a really good coach too. And so a little bit of argument here, which one is even if it takes them a couple of years, two or three years to really figure out the coaching thing, if he can go out there and be a dynamic recruiter. And he just puts more talent on the floor than most of the teams that Michigan's going to be up against with the exception, the big ten of maybe Michigan state, and even then he might be able to recruit better than Tom Izzo. Because time is those kind of made a little bit of change when it comes to that it's certainly it certainly could be a winning philosophy for John Howard, going forward that gives him a great head start as he learns all the other things that needs to be a head coach. That's what they're banking on. That's what you gotta hope for a Michigan basketball fan, and I don't think that's a bad thing to be to be to be banking on. I think that. Very much could work for John Howard, and for Michigan, at least in the early going here so pressure. The vocal John, we've got hit a break when come back. So here's the question for the twelve o'clock hour is how much of a honeymoon do you give John Howard going forward here hot on sports talk ten fifty WT. We.

What do you mean?
