"I heard Radio AP poll Question For today all about the inauguration of the 46, president of the United States. What is your level of excitement? For Joe Biden taken over as president. Excited beyond belief. Wait and see. This is bumming me out. You can vote at Kaylie, Colorado can also in our text line of 566. I know Early results are Kouf This is a very tight pull one of the tightest that we've ever had We already up over 100 votes, and right now there is a tie between excited beyond belief. And this is bumming me out each have 34.3% and then in second place, wait and see as 31.4%. So this is a very, very title. Okay, You continue to vote over the next 24 hours, and we'll know what the Winner of the poll. Question is tomorrow. Do we know how the poll results ended yesterday, Kouf? We do not. But I could look that up s O. Coover normally would be on the other side of the glass eye being able to handle all these sorts of things, but now he's also over there, pushing the buttons at the same time. We got a boy be large, who's standing behind him? He's kind of been following along to see how exactly complicated it is dealing with us on the other side of this glass of which could be a challenge. What was the poll question yesterday? Yesterday's poll. Of course we had George Payton on yesterday. The new Broncos GM And it's surrounded him and his decision coming up If you were George Payton, would you trade three first round draft picks? Andrew Lock for two Shawn Watson and we had a ton of oats and yes, came out on top. It's 63.7%. No, was 36.3%. I'm going to say this right now. We have an intelligent audience that rolls with us that votes on those poles. Because let me tell you something. There's nothing like settling your franchise quarterback position once a quarterback knows how to play. You can depend on that guy for at least 10 years. I mean, 10 years of stability at that position, and you don't have to even worry about it anymore, so Um, I agree that if that was offered up, that would be a good exchange. And here's what's interesting about it. Because I've been keeping my ear to the ground. A little bit is damn quiet. But when it's quiet like this, it does tell me that there's probably some stuff that's going on in the background. And I don't mean with the Denver Broncos. I mean in general. It's gotten pretty quiet. But here's what I can tell you. I just talked to a buddy of mine who does a show down there in Houston. Uh, who told me today? That, um Shawn Watson has said even if Eric the enemy Is hired his head coach. He's still going to need some time to think about. The front office and what's going on there? So I mean, this thing is, I mean right now, from all accounts, the New York Jets Um, Miami Dolphins. Those two franchises are in the hunt. But here's one that I heard that I thought was really good. Well, did you see that The Broncos were like 13 Odds Hold hold on 30. And I'd like to be in this equation. But this is the one I heard that I thought was the best. Urban Meyer as the number one overall pick. The number one overall pick. Do you want this Shawn Watson or some unknown commodity? No. You would want You would want to show Watson do you? Do you want the unknown commodity? That's you know, in trouble lines. Um, who's widely accepted as the number one overall pick. And two number. Just call it too. Number ones from the Jacksonville Jaguars two number twos from the Jacksonville Jaguars. And they get the John Shawn Watson. You like that trade? Yeah. Ah, lot. That's a great trade. That is a really good trade. Well, that immediately makes it Um Because you don't again The unknown commodity is still you just don't know And you don't know if you've got the right personnel around how that quarterback's gonna perform at that level. So there's a bunch of questions that Are still going to be unanswered until you answer that one. You put a bonified starting QB one in that questions answered. You also know how he plays. So therefore, you know, if you've got the personnel or now you could build around what you need to do around a guy like that. So I would say, get that by the way, That's way too smart. It's never gonna happen, E. Do you know what I'm saying? That's way too smart to say we're gonna have There's a lot of maybe it's quiet around here now that, uh George Payton has been introduced. But I'm just letting you know, man. They're gonna be a ton of bids for the services of the Shawn Watch in the Bronco should be involved. I'm just letting you know the Broncos should be involved. And I don't think that number nine pick And you know, we would have to give up three number ones. The three first round draft picks in three second round draft picks. I mean, that's a lot, and that's by the way in for Brandy general manager that has been highly successful building the team through the draft. Those things carry a lot more value to a guy like that, then they made to others. If your legacy is leaving the team in good standing and in good order, Let's just say George Payton has his job for six years. Let's just say there's a ownership change. Okay, let's just say that That's a possibility and we haven't ownership change and we have the Shawn Watson and we have a new direction for the entire franchise. Uh, what's what's the issue what we're talking about here? I mean, what are we talking about here? I mean, we're talking about an unprecedented time in the NFL What we have to NFL franchises that don't have A new owner for say, Now we understand the Green Bay Packers is owned by the public city of Green, right? Well, just the fans, the fans. But two NFL teams are like What the Broncos are in. It's the Broncos and the Titans, where they don't have a single head of the Um, organization to say yes, I know. Because You know the Titans with the Adams family and the Broncos with the bowling family. They haven't come together and said, This is the person that's gonna lead so the NFL is saying it's time now. So I looked for a movement. I look for movement on both franchises in the next year. I agree. I think I think is, you know the NFL came out last year and said that You know, said as much way have to get this resolved. It's been going on way too long. So If you're the new owner, Would.

"They're two running backs Zach Mas and Devin Devin Singletary have been keys for them and every single game. They've won, however, in the three losses that the bills have had those two guys have only combined for 38 yards from scrimmage on average, So you have to slow those two guys down in order to beat the bills. No doubt Zach Stevens from the NPR joining us here. Okay, so I don't want to sound too hyperbolic on this case, so understand this isn't even all coming from me. But I want to ask your opinion on it because we had a little bit of a debate last night with Alfred Williams when he's on the show Because Alfred wants to see more. No Taani Moody. He thinks the Broncos have found their right guard. Now they're paying Grand Blasco a certain contract that they're just not gonna be able to get out from on next year. Whatever so Did Graham glass go get Wally picked in this situation. Should we see the tiny moody at least for the remainder of the year? What do you think about right guard right now. You know what? I'm not going to come on here and argue against Alfred will tell you that. You know, I think the Broncos have a great opportunity right now to see more of Massoni movie, You know, Grand Glascow missed last week because of an injury. Well, we know he's better much better this week than he was at this point last week. But you know what? At this point in the season, you're in a valuation mode, and I applaud the Broncos for understanding there an evaluation mode. And embracing it because it doesn't make sense. If you should be an evaluation mode, and you're in your playing hostage locked and you're playing tomorrow, Dotson and you're playing these guys who you know what you have. You have to go full evaluation. So what I do, at least for this week. As I say, Graham. We need you to be 100% in order to go out there because we do need to see the tiny movie and you could be honest with him about it because you know what he knows He's getting paid his money next year. He knows he's coming back next year. You're not cutting him and losing an additional $5 million in debt. Money next year instead of keeping him on the team, so you could be honest with him and then you know what if Connie plays well and shows well, then you could just do that the rest of the season with Grand Blasco. So yeah, I I do understand where Alpert's coming from. And man I really like what I saw from the tiny movie and it's not a surprise, either guys. He was the 1st 2nd round talent before all of his injuries, and, of course, his injuries made it so the Bronco's gotta steal on him. And if he's able to stay healthy, man, I just loved what I saw. Against the Panthers and would like to see him get more work that these last couple of weeks let's bring the Broncos him all over the last couple of drafts. You know, it looked for talented. That deed is gonna contribute or play your one year two in the 1st 34 rounds, And then after that, they start doing dice rolls. You know, guys that did have slipped and fallen duty injury that kind of stuff for the Jake. But pick a few years back. You couldn't tiny moody and we go back. Look, there's there's some more in their justice or not, might have been a guy we would have seen at some point this year. And so there's there's Chicks like that all over. I think that one it speaks to the draft philosophy changed they made and how that successful that's been over the last couple of years, despite some columnists saying, otherwise, I think that I think that really, you know, you look at this team and you look at what they've got on the offensive line there and you've got to get cushion very up T part and I think the question for me In that movie evaluation is is putting moody out there another rookie, doing a disservice to Lloyd Cushion, bury it all because that would be my primary concern. You have to get that center toe where he's where he needs to be before you do anything else on that offensive line. Well in that that's very, very fair. And, of course, putting a veteran $11 million guard next to him certainly only helps with that and and we saw it. I mean, the one kind of the Broncos turned the ball over last week was when there was a little miscommunication in error and communication between the Tani Moody on Lloyd cushier very there and you'd never want to see your quarterback hit, especially when it could be something that's prevented. Now, let's say that was all on Lloyd Cushion very well. Grand Glass told me when he's in there may be able to tell him before this. Now. Okay? You got it. Got it. Where is it? Where is the Tani? Moochie isn't able to do that. So bend to your point. Not only does it help wake pushing very, but it also helps your quarterback and at the end of the day, guys, isn't that what these last three games are all about? Is finding out there trying to find out at least exactly what you have Andrew lock, so I totally understand the Let's Let's give the pieces to drew that he needs the best pieces in order for him to succeed. And you know some people like Alfred Williams. They believe that the Tani Moochie is that Piece right now. Well, and he just likes the physical strength that he displays. And I mean, you're talking about a guy that Vic Fangio, I thought, athlete, you know reference. This usually know you play like three games. It was file. You're in college, and it's been a year and a half since he played started and played a game and this is the pro level and he looked like he belonged for years. I mean, he looks like he's been playing next to I mean this point, Elijah Wilkinson, who also was just coming back, and then Calvin Anderson and left side. I mean, they were just so many things. Interestingly enough about that game that could have said that that would have been set up for disaster. Yet they played with a certain level of confidence. And when I come back and watch that game, I wouldn't have known other than that one moment, when, when, basically you had free Russia. Is that your locket? He fumbled the ball after you got sacked. Wouldn't have known otherwise. That group hadn't been working together the entire time. Oh, no, absolutely. I mean, that's a credit to everyone, not just the offensive lineman. But of course, Mike Mon check Drew lock and Pat Shurmur for calling a game. That's it. All of those guys strengthened and especially, you know, you have no offend who goes out early in the game Knicks and that choice with Magali stepped up and had had an incredible game, especially for backup tight ends and, like Nick, the net told us yesterday. On Doom Conference called was, You Know, All of those plays were designed for Goa fans. Yet those guys stepped in and did a good job patch Shermer didn't get that didn't get scared by Noah Fant leaving so I mean, just a heck of a job by him as well. And another reason why today drew out comes out and says it would be awesome and huge for Pat Shurmur to come back and Man. I totally understand where Drew is coming from. He does not want to have another offensive coordinator. He's been bumped so many times in his football career. That man, some continuity will be great for not only him, but for these other young guys were talking about for Lloyd Cushion. Very burning Tani movie and the guys. We haven't even talked about you, the young guys. Jerry Judy K. J. Hammer? No, Stan. All of those guys as well. Continuity would be nice on the offensive side. Yeah, And it felt felt like that game against the Panthers was really a showcase for the Broncos Rookie class all the way around, Zach. Just a couple more here for you really appreciate the time tonight..

"Liz Merrill is a senior writer for ESPN. So we're doing a package on one one hit wonders. And he editors thought who'd be better to sort of headline this but Jonas Gray story it's been about five five years. Since his breakout game. It was November sixteenth. Two thousand fourteen. What happened on that day? New England would've gone through one of those September's which everyone in Britain them off. You know they've lost that Miami in the opening game and then they went to Kansas City and just got clobbered and then to patriots form. They rattled off five wins. And they're back to their dominating cells. Broody leads US Patriots into town to the Andrew Luck and the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday night. Football how Michael Smith game was a Sunday night football game and it was a highly anticipated anticipated game because it was a rematch of that year's divisional round game tonight. It's Andrew Lock Against Tom. Brady get your calculators out. There should be really default to rescue teams. Both come off by weeks. There's a cave named Jewish graves is making star back to the ground. This this is Jonas Gray Gray to the thirty yard line. You know. It's amazing what nobody knew was except for people in very inner struggles of New England And he actually had a really impressive training camp and Bella check had told him. You know you're so close to making the roster oster but they didn't activate them until mid October when Steven Ridley towards ACL this guy he wasn't uh-huh regular starter at Notre Dame. He was on the practice squad until three weeks ago. So his mom and his brother drove about three hundred miles from mm-hmm where they lived outside of Detroit. The Game Jonas at the time was living in a one bedroom apartment and this modest area outside of Boston Austin on the very bare bones and the only tickets. He could really sport. His family. Were in the nosebleed seats. They're ZEHR watching the game. There's all this anticipation there's nerve block white with Michelle. Give the gray runs. Between Guard and center white. He pushes to the end zone. Owed go to spray has a touchdown patriots. He's scores his first touchdown and his mom is like okay. I'll clap. I'm I'm pretty exciting. This is so awesome. So she's Kinda cool about it in cash and then you know he's course again and then we. He scores his third touchdown. I get the great lowers the coders running. It was more a touchdown his she drops to a knee in like complete. You know amazement and just so older well that you know for kids. It's finally getting a chance. And then Jonas Gray Mix Histories Iowa thing for two hundred one yards and four touchdowns give give the pig right. He runs a lot he for the Patriots. Schoolyard can't stop. Stop it so Jonas Gray erupts. He has this once in a lifetime. Performance how does he react. After the game he'd reaction was pretty wide. I I mean I think that's one of the things that made the story so endearing it because he was just like holy cow. Here's Glock like celebrating Alabama with me. Here's Tom Brady headbutting. Me All the stuff that you see in the movies really you know the thing you know. act like he's been there I mean and he did act like you've been there but inside he was completely awash. You know in all of the surprise and the joy and there was sort of that moment where from Michelle Foia talks to him. They had the traditional interview with the Star of the game. Let's turn to John Ray. Yeah Guy who didn't hear his name before you're going to be hearing it a lot. We heard it many times tonight and he's doing nervous. I mean there's a guy who graduated with a degree in English and he did stand up comedy already in college. So you know. She knew his way around the microphone but she didn't know what he's GonNa say touchdowns the first four of your NFL career on at this stage had explain this performance. I'm just blessed. Blessed beyond belief we put together a great game plan. They hammered in all week. She watched this for so long. Keep Watch Tom Brady. And GRONK and company and Julia Nettleton on TV. It was just one of those things where you just couldn't believe all this is happening. Someone one of those guys men are probably go home tonight and get back. I'll probably just lay in bed. Look up in the ceiling. Just just astonished man. What's going on? Aw Right in a great story man. God's helping

"Should the Broncos target him as their necks veteran in line to be the quarterback for the Broncos next year or is it time to stop with the vets go to the young gun move on to your future young franchise quarterback Andrew lock I'll go with that again this is so easy this is so it should be the option should be right there at the top in Italy the pouring out fifty three percent say drew lock I'm just I'm just hinting at people right now option should be right at the top is there any veteran engine for you right now but you would say that you would be okay with starting next season and I and then again and the guy I mentioned is the eyes are currently here still under contract right Joe Joe Flacco now I I think that I think you need to go I think you need to go to like I I I think you need to put him out there this year and see what you've got and if he looks like he's got it then that such a road map if true lock goes out there just bombs because after looks like past the winch then you have a different story then we're exploring this free age market them we're looking around at the bridge waters in the cam Newton's and you know Philip rivers of the world since I I think can get one for the charge but that's just me cam to the Chargers I think that's where he's got this big guy listed as but it you know you have to find out what you have give Brandon L. two three games we're gonna see if he's a long term backup maybe something more who knows and then we'll see we'll put a lock out there will say okay let's see what you can do kids show us you make us believe in you and and this is what reluctance to do he needs to come out there in those games whether it's the Chargers game to get five up more this alliance because too often and make you believe make you go into next season and say we can't take him off the field yeah he's he's this is our guy this is our guy going for make it erase the Joe Flacco error error error what I did there three oh three seven one three eighty five eighty five should the Broncos roadblock as the starting quarterback next year or hand the reins to another veteran let's line up those phone lines people again three oh three seven one three eight five eight five still it your first opera Broncos country tonight I Kaylee skillet what's going on in a lot more I thank you and the one I just keep what you got that way you can at best and some offense of linemen or some other positions you got like that two or three year bad Allah Arkansas going again here are Lou so the ball from the SPCA they're all going to be good but why don't you just go with the Arkansas kids until they start losing skills are you saying are you saying so keep what they have so keep stick with Alan Flacco in lock like going into next year or what what what do you know I mean I mean it's common knowledge that black goal is is out the door I don't think he even come back yeah but but there's far does I wouldn't put him in until you prove these berubah micellar guy and and and this this Alan I think all I need is a good nickname skill how much how much how much scalp was okay so let's say roll down water hi how much of what do you want to see this season I wanna see him into the Arkansas kid stars means okay skill that's and that's problem probably as our happen have the by some it is a big win good warranties or no war what well still ahead skill skill they'd look on my database for the call my guy raise or you know I had a woman gaming nicknames early on was razor it's good Nick name is razor back so we'll see Alan played well he was a good is a great game and I think unfortunately for him well you've missed out of Minnesota Vikings defense the cracks are gonna show and then Alan game why as a minister up to this point yeah I mean he's a limited guy doesn't have that the strongest arm in the world is now the quickest clock in the world tends to stare guys down he just he got a did what was asked of the separate game plan where he just had to put the ball in his receivers hands and let them make plays and they did he put the ball out there Cortland gets a touchdown he put the ball out there no fake it's a touchdown you go back and look the box of three nine on third down that's not get it done I mean you know the hidden numbers here actually were pretty bad outside of no fan break it they were about five yards per play that's not very good you go back and look at they only ran forty three plays on offense that was a lot of drive killers they just they either scored quickly or they didn't allow drives in the in the in the Browns eight o'clock so there's there's more to be seen Fred Allen the audition for the next couple of games he earned it I don't wanna analysts say here and and double the guy you already got a stethoscope games but I am a lot more hesitant on this guy that it seems like Broncos countries George I see on highland Dave I see on the hot line hang tight and keep line up those phone lines Broncos country three zero three seven one three eighty five eighty five but the hot line is going to be preoccupied this next segment Ian Saint Clair from mile high report be joining us next giving us a pulse of the fans were asking that question should the Broncos roadblock as the starting quarterback next year will also discuss what he anticipates the sea from Alan what do the fans think they'll see from Allen after the by going in as Vikings game and much more Anthony Rodriguez feeling of Ryan and words along side drop right bronchus country tonight okay way.

"They've seen other players <hes> you know get to their thirties and get to the thirty mark mark twenty nine for andrew lock and say i'm done <hes>. It's physically tolling on the body. It's it just kills you especially so you look at gronk and andrew lock. Those two positions wide receivers tight ends quarterbacks. I mean they're they're getting hit with a different force than your line not to take anything away from how hard linemen work or any of that stuff obviously they hit two and every single single play. They're good night. There's no you're right yeah but a wider sarah injuries are just different. They're different enemies and ankles and hips back down. Yeah <hes> and i think the other thing too is if you you start you look at what we've seen the last couple years with like <hes> shazier like those types of of injuries where it could be i. I mean you're talking. Not just oh you know i heard an ankle or i broke a leg paralyzed. I mean you you thinking about actually losing the function of of part of your body. I mean she had an amazing recovery. Yeah it's out there catching football yeah but it wasn't guarantee that that was going to happen wasn't guaranteed to stand or walk the yeah yeah so in one of these days are going to get a player. That's just you know soon that's completely paralyzed and on the whole the whole reason why i even brought up <hes> <hes> <hes> all the herbs and all that business. I know it's herb herb. The this all came up because gronk is he's partnering partnering with a c._d. Company he's he's. He was advocating that at least at the minimum athletes should be able to use c._d. In professional sports i won't get into the whole the difference between c._d._c. All that business but i mean you're gonna. That's very he's got a a very valid. Point could do a whole show on the whole subject yeah. It's just like it's just like <hes> states and we live in a state that has made it legal and and it's just like alcohol in the state where yeah you can go home after work and have a drink has many as you want technically. Don't do anything stupid. Don't drive and it's the same thing with marijuana. You can go home. Smoke it. You eat it. Do whatever you want to do with it. Just don't do anything stupid right and n._f._l. Players can go home and have a drink if if i'm with i'm with the majority of with a whole lot of people and what they should just be allowed. You're going going to have those players. That would abuse it. I get it but it's been especially those the c._d. Thing is starting to see everywhere and i was at a convenience store today <hes> and receive a d. water and i'm like kay. She tried so you can't with my job unfortunately so <hes> but no oh yeah i mean it's it's i think that back to the the main thing but yeah you're gonna start seeing that trend <hes> i don't know if it'll be like blatant and like oh volley crap got this massive amount of players retiring at twenty eight yeah no i. You'll just start seeing your of note. You'll definitely notice it. There's going to be as i think. There'll be a lot especially when it comes to like quarterbacks and all that but there's going to be less. Tom brady's planning tiller forty two forty. One however lee is <hes> but you you see the the general the general kind of trying to find the word..
Andrew Luck's Retirement Highlights the NFL's Growing Problem
"Know what it wasn't long ago. I think it was last week when two weeks ago when mclovin said hey how about this poll question is andrew lock more likely to be an slight disappointment or hall of famer and this is when the ankle injury came. I remember it was the calf and then the owner robert say said i think it's an ankle and then i started to think there's more involved in this. There's more to this story. Sorry ben just glynn from the calf to a high ankle. I don't even i still don't know what he has but we know it serious enough that he announced his retirement and everybody's got an opinion on this. His decision to retire was a shock to the system for you know the the entire n._f._l. Nation when people say boy oy this is the most shocking football story we've ever heard i mean like new. No no no no how about we start with o._j. Simpson michael vick aaron hernandez. Those are shocking stories. Andrew looks different cat all right he is. He went back to college to get his degree. He could have left after his junior year. He went back to get his degree in architectural design. I believe he there are guys who are or football players and then there guys who play football most our football players j._j. Watt is a football player. Should he still be playing football. No no not at all but it andrew luck is a guy who is a guy who was good at playing football. I don't know if he's a a football guy and there's a difference in that but that doesn't mean he wasn't good at it or didn't love it. I just think that we're we're so unfamiliar. Oh you're with an athlete who uses logic where you go. What are you doing. Most football players in pauley had the analogy. Let's say you have a rock rock in your shoe. Most football players will continue to play in fact. Stop down on the rock. Where is andrew luck goes. How about. I just take the rock in my shoe. I mean it sounds logical. He just took the rock out of a shoe. Football players will tie the shoe differently like they'll somehow find a way. Hey i'll walk differently who care i'll take madison. Shoot me up. Whatever andrew lucked just said. I'm gonna take the the pebble <music> out. He's removing football from his life. Everybody has an opinion on this and when he started rattle off the list of injuries it makes a lot of sense but it's hard for us to imagine and by the way athletes are just commodities. We've moved on from all of these athletes. We don't care really don't care eric. Dickerson joined us in los angeles when we were out there and here's one of the great running backs of all time any looked great. I said the kind you look like you could give me a couple of carries. He said people don't realize the toll that this takes on goes. I slept in a reclining chair for two years because i had neck and back injuries. Nobody cares about eric dickerson's injuries. Nobody cared about jim. Mcmahon's injury his health. He thought about killing himself. We move on and andrew luck realizes that and yes he got paid paid and the reason for people to be upset and how do you do this to your team. And how do you quit on your team. I understand those emotions. I really do but i have to look at this and say andrew. Luck did what andrew luck thought he needed to do. Is it inexcusable to you know oh colts fans. Yeah i get that. I don't think he's saying boy. Watch what i'm gonna do. I'm going to set up the colts for failure now. I don't think i think that he had to process this. It took a long time. It's something you do you do well. It's your identity and maybe he doesn't want that is his identity and can you get away from this. You know the guys who had all the surgeries. I'm seeing all of this stuff here. Everybody's saying how do you do. I understand all of those emotions. Russians here but andrew lock did what andrew lucked thought he needed to do. If barry sanders was a quarterback and he walked away we would have abba bigger issue with what barry sanders did at age thirty-one calvin johnson at aged thirty. Jim brown age thirty. What are you doing walking away from the sport. Guess you've got a contract extension. There are a lot of questions. I have ranted you luck in this situation. When did you really know and when did you let the cold snow and what is the reason. Is there more surgery down. The road like you went through shoulder. You had and i put some of this on the colts by the way ryan grigson in particular the former g._m. What did i say for years. You have this investment. It's like having this unbelievable engine but then you have a car that's falling apart. You traded for trent richardson. You didn't use any lyman you finally went out and got quinton nelson and what happened. Andrew luck had the best season of his career. He had the fewest sacks. It's not something that takes a whole lot of thought. Hey how about we have a good offensive line. Chances are andrew. Luck might be able to play play a little bit longer but so many injuries and then you start to get down on yourself and you get in your head and you don't wanna go through it and and i look i couldn't play the game. I've told you if you ever watched a game on the sidelines. You never let your kids play. It is violent. "I keep saying it now the asterisk. Though does i mean as a major one too who is andrew lock really not going to be andrew luck in twenty and nineteen. Is he going to be ready to go. I think though that the offensive line should be pretty good and again the team started the jags of the colts again. Coach saban the preseason. The offensive line hasn't looked all they didn't look good in their scrimmage. Ah again with i mean come on with that nonsense. That has no application carrots. That's being that's over thinking things to use. Some baker mayfield's language judge if you're reading into what happens in an august scrimmage too much what you want is to survive without injury. That's the goal of your any team worth earth. Anything events line should be good. I think if andrew luck can't go. I think jacoby percent is one of the better backups. I think they can survive on a limited basis with perset in there especially with what should be a dominant defense. Perhaps the best defense in a full of really good defenses and the jags included in that mix but they really should have. I okay they wanted. Nick foles pine for somebody who took care of the ball. After the blake bortles experience the mistake that they remade as far as i'm concerned is if in fact according to all the scouts who looked at him t._j. Hopkinson isn't just a good tight end but is a generational guy in in you know as a poor man's rob gronkowski which is how a lot of people consider him why they wouldn't if your if your offense is predicated on trying to be physical go and run the ball with leonard fournette and control the ball and you look at what nick foles did with zakar company in philadelphia. Isn't that who they should've taken. What were they doing with limited. Pass catchers marquees lean guys like that. Come on days should've taken t._j. Hodkinson not added to what is already loaded defense so it's fine to get josh allen but i don't think that that's the difference especially when you have andrew lock t y hilton and marlin mac in indianapolis and you have in houston in new coppins.

"And that was the biggest thing I think there were failing to offense of lines in those games. I mean, the failings of the offensive line for the colts were real and the failings of the offensive line for the chargers were at was. Absolutely. I think a huge. Dj huge huge part of why they lost that game. I think when you look back at the AFC weekend. It's not to sound like my goal of junior. We were talking about earlier guy always wants to bring offense of line play into the conversation. But in this situation, I think he's right. I mean, those two offense blinds lines got outplayed. And that was really surprising to me. It was surprising to me in the chargers game that they weren't able to keep Philip rivers clean and that they weren't able to get any pressure on Brady. And then in the colts game. I it's just like Andrew luck never had the time. And even when he did have the time didn't look like he knew where he wanted to go with the football. I mean, they they genuinely look lost. Yeah. I I think also when you were watching that game. Well, actually, both of them. I mean, not as much Andrew lock has incredible composure, and he didn't seem as frustrated. But when you're watching the chargers, my heart was hurting for Philip rivers, and it's not to say that he was without faulty certainly played his own role. But he was just getting destroyed. And so it was adding phys. Pain to the injury of not being able to get anything rolling. It was tough to watch. Well, and the fun stat on this one rivers was pressured twenty five times. Sorry twenty four times on Sunday. That's the most for any quarterback in the last ten years. He was aided twenty two when he was pressured. I mean, that's the that's the level of pressure. They were able to dial up on him. And it just they didn't have an answer. There was no answer. Also, even when he did get the opportunity to throw a thirty two of his thirty two percent of his passes were thrown into what they call tight windows. So that's the second highest rate is face to the season. So somehow miraculously he's getting pressured and also nobody's getting open. Like, usually one of the two is happening. But the bowl that'd be the patriots of furious at the refs. Oh, absolutely. But you know, as much as that conversation wanted to be there and Twitter one or two love that conversation. That game was such a blow out, you know. I can't even tip a hat it with the refs were doing because they were just getting crushed. Spain infants sarahspain and Jason Fitz something that we haven't touched on yet, which is worth noting is heading into this. If you remember the stat that I had all three of the first time playoff quarterbacks in the wildcard round lost. And of the remaining quarterbacks left in the playoffs as we advanced into the divisional round only Tom Brady had won his first playoff game, all the breeze. Everybody else. Philip rivers. Everybody didn't wasn't able to put it together. Patrick Mahomes, twenty seven to forty one two hundred and seventy eight yards didn't throw for touchdown. But ran for one at a key moment in that game. And really got them going. It was a really good postseason debut for a guy in the snow in the cursed or potentially recently uncurbed stadium of Arrowhead. This was the kind of performance that if you're a chief's fan if you're someone who's been watching him all season long and watching them inches way towards a likely MVP award. This is what you wanted to. See, right. I mean, you didn't want. I mean, I guess if you were a fan of the colts, you'd be happy if he went out late Neg. But after watching the regular season you wanted to see him not fall prey to the foibles of the postseason. Debuts voted a great job of being active in the pocket and getting himself. Whatever time he wanted or needed. And then as you mentioned two hundred and seventy eight yards, but one of the crazy stats again to go. The next ten stats on open windows. Sixty one percent of his passes went to an open receiver that had more than three yards of separation. I mean, you talk about that like his guys were getting open in the and then he's finding them..

"Light that they were using. Did you see that ever seen a press conference where you got the full shadow behind the guy like it's it's high noon in the old west all right after the guy suffers through the losses. He needs sunglasses to do his press conference. Some of the guys who were on the wrong end of the playoff games this weekend. We're joined the drought we've been positive for most of the show. We're going to slide into the negative for the disappointments for divisional round weekend. Chris simms. We got through the coin toss in person in Kansas City on Friday and one I know, well, we're gonna have to trust the rig technology today. Go ahead call tails, and it'll come up tails and you'll get the first pick. Let's go tells Kristen. Chris. How about that? Then how dare you see every once in a while it has to be rigged in my favor. So it's not completely and totally obvious that it's always rigged in your favor. And I'm gonna be gin, and I hate to do this. He says hall of Famer he's got a great Santa Claus beard, but added Viteri you're wearing the goat horns coming out of Saturday's game. How different the vibe is going into the locker room. Chris if he doesn't clank that ball off of the post when there's an opportunity to just get three to just get something to just feel good about where you are to feel like maybe you have a chance and any twenty three yarder. He hits the upright. And then he missed an extra point later in the game. Then all of a sudden you the hot take artists are pointing out how low his his field goal percentages and the procedure is a first ballot hall of Famer for crying out loud. He's had some of the most clutch kicks we've ever seen. But that was an opportunity to just make it interesting going into the second half. And when when that kick missed when it hit that post and bounced back. Doc, I'm thinking, all right? That's it. Chiefs are gonna win this one. There's no question about it. And I feel like it could have been different in the second half. If they could have got something out of that. Dr. Yeah. Certainly I mean missed the extra point they lost. So they let four points on the board because of an Atari. But I I'm with you. That was a huge moment of the football game to be able to go in twenty four ten. You have a nice little drive and say you could sell to your football team. Okay, offense. We finally got a going. We're only down to scores. Andrew lock in that team being down to score is I don't even think they would blink an eye but being down three scores and just having that the fleeting moment of going. Oh, we got nothing to build on going in the second half. Ultimately was a was a big deal, and they could never catch up. So not a bad pick by you. I think the biggest disappointment for me is. I gotta go the Cowboys front seven. That's where I'm going to start the Cowboys D line the Cowboys front seven. I mean. Yes, this is what we were calling a Super Bowl defense or at least. I was I mean, they'd been dominant. We had seen them really. Stymie some of the best offenses in football all year long the saints included. And I thought certainly they can make life tough on the the Los Angeles Rams on Saturday night. Well, they didn't make life tough on them at all. And they their front seven was absolutely dominated by the Los Angeles Rams, and that goes into the coaching too. Because we brought up in the first hour that the Rams emitted after the game that there was tells on the defensive line about what they were doing schematically slants and stunts by how they were lined up by what hands were on the ground, and that's part of this discussion too. So total disappointing effort from the Cowboys defensive front seven. And that's not only the players who got physically, but the coaches who didn't notice that. There was some telltale signs giving away their hand on what they are doing on that front as well. That's why I'm disappointed in and let me tell you. I think that needs to be a bigger deal at a time when there's so much talk about what Chris shards future's going to be in Dallas. He was a finalist for the dolphins job for all. He knows. He's he's still may get that job. Because just because the dolphins have reportedly settled on patriots linebacker, Scott. Brian floor that doesn't mean he's going to take the job in Miami. It could be Rashard somebody's responsible and the coaching staff for allowing them to have such blatant tells that the Rams were able to exploit. Yes, the players need to play. But the coaches put them in position to be successful. And if you are not spotting your own flaws, your own tendencies, your own patterns, you are making it easier for the team to beat you. And this is on Jason Garrett automatically. But it also to some extent is on rod Rodman Nellie and Chris Rashard. Chris. Agreed. I mean, it is it's a total total team effort there or lack of effort there and just far as you know, self scouting self support an important part of football to realize. Okay. We're in the playoffs and teams do do deeper dives, especially the team who had the first round by. They're going to be able to have that time to look at little intricacies of your or your game plan your defense, you're alignments all of those things. And clearly, you know, they found something there with. The Dallas front and totally totally exposed it. All right. I'm going to go back to the game that we already addressed especially since they're trying to feed you an answer. And I'm gonna take it before you can an Terry was the focal point that moment that thing that was so uncharacteristic. But what about Andrew luck, captain, Andrew, you can't you can't you? Hey, sometimes it's gonna snow when you're out there getting ready for battle, captain, Andrew, you gotta be able to perform in the elements. And I thought that the colts would be able to do it even though they are a dome team. We have that narrative for so many years that dome teams can't function outdoors in the postseason. What happened the dome team went outdoors and their quarterback could not get it done when you consider everything he's accomplishes here everything he's ever come back in June. He was throwing a high school football for him to just not show up in that situation early on allowing the chiefs to get ahead fourteen nothing because they couldn't get anything going and it took so long for that offense to really emerge the seven points at the colts scored in the first half or on a blocked punt. So. Andrew lock. And I know we can blame it on the offense of line. We can play it on the running game. We can blame it on a lot of things. But I think Andrew luck bears. A lot of the blame for this. And we did not expect him to play that way. I think we expected him to hold his own against Patrick Mahomes. And he just didn't. What are you talking about? They were trying to feed me first of all that makes me mad. That was my pick. Nobody was telling me, Andrew luck. It also somebody was telling you to take Andrew luck. Okay. So I I have the receipts. Okay. Chris Andrew luck out. Well, I don't have. I don't look at my texts I focused on my job. So they must be tagged. Listen, you're the one that convinced me to get this fancy watch that has your text messages on it, and it buzzes your risk getting I tried to be professional and actually listen to you when you're talking instead of being you who looks at your is typing your next article when I talk. Against the rhino. Have officials shoving me down the side against the rules to be able to pick two disappointments from the same game. As to is your first picks up bull crap. That is bullcrap. So now I have to adjust because of I don't like that. I'm really mad. That was my next pick. And yeah, you're right. Andrew luck. He missed throws early on to kind of get the team going and give them some confidence get their defense or let their defense stay on the sideline a little bit. Where the defense was on the on the field. The first two drives for a good amount of time and really started to get worn out. So good pick by you. Screw everybody else. Who was texting you telling you to do that. Okay. You're getting the same. I'm not smart enough. And I don't need your guys help to tell me what to pick. Okay. I don't need that. And I'm not smart enough to read texts and talk at the same time. I can't do that have you. I could barely talk when I'm not reading texts. So I almost got the truth. We you almost admitted the truth, you're not smart enough to set up your watch. So that you get text messages on it. That's what you were starting saying my watch today. So that's the first thing that would be the other one too. Okay. I'm going on the chargers the chargers offensive weapons. I think that's where I'm going to start there. There the disappointment. I mean, yes, we know that the patriots had their way with the chargers defense. But this chargers football team all year. Philip rivers Benjamin, the the Williams Mike Williams tyrel Williams Canaan Allen Antonio gates. Melvin gordon. I mean, they were disappointed disappointing and yesterday's football game. Yeah. I know the game didn't play out exactly the way they wanted to. But the New England Patriots got in the face of the chargers. And basically said Philip rivers. You're not gonna throw it behind us. We don't care. We're not scared of any of the speed of your receivers, you know, Melvin Gordon. I know he was not at one hundred percent. That's certainly hurt their football team. But the game became a little bit of a track. Meet and the chargers offense, which is one of the best offenses in football. And really this is what concerns me going to Nacho because they sputtered down the end of the season. And really did not play great football the last three or four weeks of the regular season. And they weren't great in the wildcard game. But yes, they were this appointment. It was like Philip rivers said to open up the segment, you know, they thought the defense would settle. All in it didn't and the chargers offense never picked up to kind of take the pressure off the defense or keep the ball on some long drives. So their defense could get on the sideline and make some adjustments or get rested, or whatever it may be. So that's disappointing to me. Not just Philip rivers can wizened on everything they were all, you know, they all got their butts kicked by the patriots. Yeah. And it really was stunning to see it unfold. The way it did. But that's the difference between having extensive playoff experience and not having it. And you know, you mentioned this isn't my next pick. But the idea that that the patriots. No that cover three Seahawks defense, so well and the chargers didn't mix it up. Patriots. No, this really, well, that's the problem with that scheme. Mike, it's one of my issues. There's so many defensive coordinators in football that run that scheme. Now, Chris Rashard Dallas. Right. You know, you got guys all over the league because it was successful. And yes, they don't gain plants specific change their scheme. And sometimes when they face an offense. That's got a great scheme and a quarterback that can make the right decisions and offense coordinator who could find these little ways to expose it on third and three and third and four they're not able to overcome. And that's what we saw yesterday. All right. Let's get to the last two. I'm thinking about Ezekiel Elliott. But you know, what I want to go with the eagles offense because when you score fourteen points early, and then just disappear for the rest of the game just disappeared. And I know that they drove down late. But look Sean Jefferies part of the offense. He let the ball get through his hands. And I still think the eagles have a tough decision to make moving forward about who their quarterbacks going to be but their offense just just. I think it was with that interception. Wants Nick foles through the interception. And that was our first hit back in the early..

It was amazing to see Andrew luxury action of saying the word, you know, the expletive for feces realizing set it on television. And then just shame swept across and like, he disappointed his parents Manley, his mother, and like he spent a minute just sort of just sort of wallowing recruiting how bad that fellas. Well, the problem with feuding with clearance as if they know that we're feuding with clearance. Then we're never gonna get anything clear. So I don't think it's good to publicize, but it's very difficult to get things clear this very specific rules, which I understand because they don't wanna ruin relationship with the Colt. So like that for example, was a clip that the cult may or may not have deleted from the internet someone saved. And I went back to two thousand twelve looking for this. And I couldn't find it. "Nick foles who couldn't look who can move the ball down the field to save his life to begin the year. All of a sudden has turned a light switch on and has been somewhat passable. At least Nick foles is still an average at best QB my opinion, and it can only play one system in terms of getting the ball out of his hands and vertically down the field. He can't do any other NFL systems. But for the purposes of this matchup, we have to consider the fact that every single wide receiver on the bears is dealing with some type of injury. And we may have Allen Robinson cleared to go. We may have Tele Gabriel to clear to go. But as it in Miller's banged up. You've got. Got a budget injuries. Among the wide receivers for the bears from catchy standpoint, you're looking at three Cohen because during Howard's, you know, he's a couple balls. But it's still not his natural natural position. If going off of the game tape, and you know, Trey Burton has been in and out in and out and in and out of the office of game plans week after week this season. So he'll go weeks at a time without catching the pass. And that's just the way it goes. Now, I looked this game. As a case where Phillies should lose this game. But I don't see enough out of the bears where they're absolutely planning on taking taking a this matchup and rolling on into the into the postseason. The bears come across as more happy that thing. It worked out this year. But they never really made a true commitment to the squad to improve the offense significantly with some digital free agents outside of Robinson and Burton now. At the end of the day. The bears are always going to hang their hat on their defense. But I have to say that you know, I really do see the bear struggling to put up a ton of points against philli. So this is the kind of match up where again, I would not be surprised if this was a twenty seventeen game. But the issue is that. From. Every metric the bears offense is so hot and cold that I would not be shot if Philly holds the bears Sunday, twenty points and at that point. It's a crapshoot because you know, Philly is going to try to push the ball down the field. You don't know if they're going to get penalty calls, and that's always the mic. So again, I would say look to see how the referees are calling pass interference mar because that's gonna play a big role as to how the bears were able to play their defense. So if it's getting called tie, you definitely could see some. Some concerns on the bear sideline as to what they should do next. Because again, I've seen Matt Nagy cost the bears multiple games this year for decisions that were head scratchers. But on the the whole folks are happy because the bears have been winning games this year. I just look at it. As more of a reflective talent. That's currently on the squad rather than the actual ad coach himself, but we shall find out as we progress further and to the playoffs because it is an interesting mix games, I have to admit, then, you know, even with making a making a case for these teams. You know, I could say that there is a path for them to each reach Super Bowl a gets difficult at times. But I I do feel as though you should have some competitor. Games throughout the playoffs this weekend. So we'll see how the games go today and also tomorrow. So in terms of the DFS lineups. Let's get into those quickly fit being a four-game slate. It's really hard to kind of mess around with the lineup. So you gotta have a kind of clear picture in your mind as to how you wanna go with certain rows because it is extremely limited given the player pool size this weekend. So on both draft kings fan though, I think the number one play a QB this week. We get weekend. Rather is Andrew lock, you know, I can't really find another excuse not to play him. He's eighty four hundred on fan dole sixty four hundred draft kinks..

"Truly about. Here at about fifteen minutes. Feel like we're running on a Tuesday night like trivia night. Bring all your friends down sitting the square and sitting come up with the managers. Given out to for one beers. But it's national trivia day. So we're not going to let the day expire. Without throwing some some live questions at one another. So we'll do that. Also, we should get to the NFL hate map later on this hour. We're going to do that last night. It's pretty interesting. It's much more interesting than the NBA hate nap, which is just a bunch of states colored and warrior logo. A couple of Lakers here. And there are a couple of Celtics and then Utah, which is just odd. Like, we don't like the rockets. Right. That was that was that was kind of boring the NFL. Hey map is much much better. You know, what I've been checking in on lot lately. I don't know. If each of you is, you know, real active on on on social media. But with the colts playing tomorrow, one of the best Twitter feeds out there is this. At captain, Andrew lock. It's at C A P T, Andrew lock. And because Andrew actually looks like a civil war soldier with that beard. There you go. Yeah. Andrew lock. It.

"They dragged you way, down in fact, if you just ranked the first eight games pro football, focus, he'd probably be way down the. Two thousand twenty fifth twenty seventies where easily maybe thirtieth. But then all of a sudden you start to rank the last eight games, and you start to pull back up because over the last eight games, if we have pro football, just just breakdown pro football, focus, not foolishness focused breakdown the last date. He would be a top five. No. Snuffy former performer. Well, I just told you over the last eight games he had the third. Most completions of anybody in pro football. He had the fourth highest passing yards of anybody in pro football. And he had the third highest completion percentage of all the quarterbacks who played over the last eight games of the season. Dak went third third and fourth in those pivotal categories. Right. And he had twelve touchdowns only three interceptions. That's pretty great. I could make a case he might have been the best performer over the last eight games, you could you could undo it. But you could certainly make a credible case that he was the best quarterback in pro ball, and they won seven out of eight of those. If you wanted to be credible. You wouldn't attempt to make that case that with the best quarterback. Well, I don't know those those are high marks in every category all up. So what am I if you don't mind me asking what I'm supposed to these ten games with you threw one touchdown zero touchdown. Again, a lot of times. Maybe zeke's getting it in from two yards three yards. I don't know. But in the ten wins this year for the Dallas Cowboys all I know is he through seventeen touchdowns to to interceptions. And that is good right in a league goal scoring. Everybody wants to you be mad. Yeah. How do you scored zero points you if you're gonna ask me that how do you score zero points? Well, you're that guy you got a coupe and you guys Zeki zero. So help me out Mr. hall of fame just three weeks ago. The guy that you said should replace Tom Brady is the Pro Bowl quarterback. His name is Andrew lock went to Jacksonville against what's left of the Jaguars and scored zero points. How do you do that Andrew luck? Because Andrew Lux in a whole nother league from Dak Prescott. Right. How did that happen? You lost six to nothing. Sick. Explain that because I'm lost on that one. I don't know how it happened. Did you do that? And I don't know it happens. But so does that mean you shouldn't have been on the Pro Bowl team? I don't know. Okay. Well, I asked him what if lane you can't slip. The missy. If I were to do this. I'm think would deck with a Andrew luck be twenty-first and yards passing game. Would he be? I think he'd be saying how Dax scored zero and that was the same quarterback who just the week before it scored zero in a game. And No then it it was. was to hold on. I don't think Andrew look at ten game. Would you score one zero touchdown not when you got thirty nine Andrew luck. How to span in which he had more touchdowns in eight games. That press got half for the entire season. What am I supposed to do with this q? Well, what am I supposed to do with ten wins? Seventeen touchdowns to two interceptions coverage in two hundred sixty two yards passing and have a higher yards per attempt than Andrew lock. If you don't mind, Andrew luck has turned into a Dink and dunker how many that how many how many how many games did a the colts win. Ten. Okay. It's not my fault that guess what? That the Houston, Texas, twelve and four. Okay. So ten wins for Dak Prescott seventeen to two and interceptions. Six losses five to six interceptions five touchdowns and six so so again, QBR seventy-one in the winds QBR thirty in the losses. So he's been a different guy in the seven out of eight street. Right. So what up but my guy Andrew look. Hockey. The are how passer rating do who more touchdowns as more passing yards and his record is just as good as your gotten. I liked your guy. Andrew luck. No land. Well, I'll sudden they drafted to stud rookies. Yeah. You have a problem with y'all drafted that. I'm saying oh. Margolin and helped me out who has again higher yards per attempt. Is it Dak or luck back?.

And there have been dozens of times when I've been downtown of people talk about on the sidewalk now. Now, we have a legitimate concern. Andrew has a legitimate reason to be upset with them. That's. Because he's doing shoot somebody in a wheelchair for you to to listen. Well, yeah. Because the scooter doesn't affect you. You're on the road driving. It does affect Andrea. Okay. I support Andrew. "Eastern, not an Pacific. Hierarchy. The top ten NFL teams. According to college number ten on the Dallas Cowboys are seven and two since Mari Cooper arrived. That is that's good for all receivers in the NFL. That's going to make a lot of wide receivers money. He is made a real impact in this team is very good at home. The Cowboys have a way to play. In fact, they're eight no Dak Prescott has a passer rating over one hundred he usually has that when they play lesser defenses at home and have a running game. I think they have a low ceiling offensively. And there's a certain way they have to play. I think their defense is good. I don't think it's nearly as hot as Baltimore's or as good as Chicago's or as scary. Upfront is the eagles. That's why put the Cowboys at ten number nine Indianapolis. How can I put them ahead of the Cowboys because since week seven they have the number one scoring defense in the NFL and since week seven they have the number one scoring point differen-. Henschel in the NFL. What's so special about week seven? That's when NFL people believe Andrew luck was finally completely healthy member early in the year when they had to bring on his backup Jacoby percent to throw a hail Mary pass people think week six and seven Andrew lock was completely healthy. They have one nine of ten cents. Then the colts at number nine number eight, listen, Philadelphia. I don't want any part of Philadelphia, whatever it is with Nick foles, no longer fool's gold. Foles goal. It works. He spreads the ball around better.
"Of things you face. Andrew luck this week. And I know you've seen film on Andrew. I love. Andrew lock I think life a lot of times is do you get support? Nobody can do it alone in life. Nobody no player. Michael, jordan. Yeah. Not in football, by the way, Michael Jordan needed Scottie Pippen and Phil Jackson too. And I look at Andrew lock in those first few years, man. He didn't have an align. He didn't have a running game. Now, he has both Logan Ryan when you look at the film of Andrew luck. What do you see what jumps out to you? Because this is the biggest titans game in the regular season. Logan. I can remember in years. What do you see? I see that he's healthy. I mean, he's doing the ball. Like Andrew lucked does and early in his career when he was healthy and has some protection he was MVP candidate. So that's what it is the last games. He hasn't. He hasn't got saying. I mean, that's the key. If you give any quarterback or especially a good one some time in this lead. They can pick you apart. I mean, I I tip my hand. I think that we have the best cover guys NFL. I think we're the best secondary. I think we can match up with anybody man to man with our three corners and our Tuesday fifties. But if you give anybody time, you can't cover them forever. So we have to find a way to disrupt his timing it and then offense align make him uncomfortable. Similar to what we did last week. We just had to really make comfortable back there and allow our coverage in our in our in our rush to the Matt mareo, I think that's the key. You

"A few more days of practice Head of them still and the latest is Anthony Costanzo and the way that coach. Reich kinda describes the injury to Costanzo is Oh it he had it and he's got it back and he's gonna There's. Gonna be some rest right he's gonna. Need a little bit of time. It's as vague as. Anything, out. There I'm wondering about Costanza 's future tell me I'm wrong Yeah Tony I I don't know about in terms of long term but I think. It's something to monitor the, rest? Of the that it'd be the first injured. Hamstring about two weeks before training camp. Started and then re tweaked it. During Friday night practice It's. Been really really durable NFL career he's only miss three games, maybe since his rookie season it's eleven and he looked, at positions on the colts. Roster and talk about depth I think left tackle might be, the most bear and unproven position on the roster so Dongo's bend your left tackle for the last seven years and he's going to miss a little bit of. Time, and, that, is very vague and maybe he doesn't play the, rest of the pre season but you would think just a tweaking of a hamstring he would be able to go by the regular season opens up here in a little over a month So you don't see it as a serious thing when you take a, look at the injuries that he had last year No, he was hoping last year two years ago think or maybe even the year before that when he was heard so I I don't. Think it's anything to fret over long term why. This is a guy that has been extremely extremely durable in bell career That guy wanting the, blind side of you know Through that awful twenty eleven so you end up through Angeles early. Years in these past couple of years as well I don't think it's anything that. It's a reoccurring injury that happened for several years maybe came back a little bit too soon, from that hamstring injury and and he openly. Admitted he kinda. Over trained in the off season so rest stuff you don't. Need a Santa Costanza in the month of August you need to see some of these other guys play left tackle in case this does become a lingering issue talking to. Kevin Bowen from ten seventy the fan dot com that's where you go to get all of. His latest on what's going on a training camp one of the things I noted is that when it comes to running back where, a little bit, of everywhere and nowhere on here we've, got MAC I think people are happy with him. But you, need a, little bit of that day Angela shoulder maybe better, but he still needs to hand off the ball who is he handing off to and, what are we seeing a lot of young guys Tony with Robert Turbin suspended for the first, four games James Andrew lock arguably I think the top three running back to the roster none, of them have, played with lock when you talk about, Marlin MAC going into the second season the mid. Rookies and, I am, highs and Jordan Wilkins as well and Jim Irsay, had quite hyperbole on Friday night saying that he thinks Marlee Matlin rush for fifteen hundred, yards this season I don't know if anyone in for Is He has his, bell Donald Trump of, sports just don't let them tweet Did he tweet which one was it he said it yeah. Said that we have three hundred and fifty yards rushing all last year so that's that's quite the jump for the second year back and especially. On the colts have said they want to be running back by committee so I think there are some young pieces to work with with MAC and what Jordan Wilkins the fifth round pick, out of night's camp, and I kind of bored More of a hybrid player probably help you out on special teams maybe a wide out as well so that's really really. Unproven and when roster cuts happen and the end of August you know you might be a decision that you look for more of a, more of a veteran objects I. Do think there, is something. To work with their but if the group they just, hasn't proved, themselves on the NFL level quite yet as you see it so far as in training camp Who is the player that we should be looking at and who's the player who you think is causing the most concern But I. Think a player that's really, surprises then the Niko Autry new defensive lineman signed from Oakland this past season. Back in March, I think one of the I think it was the first free, agent signing, McColl patio in, twenty eighteen and you know when you're talking about quit Nelson and how dominant the rookies ban, you know in full pads the guy that have occasionally been Autry and. The colts need some help with this new four three Friday and, Autry I think could be kind of a nice surprise I. Think that a guy that you feel, good about concern standpoint I'd probably go back into the secondary and go Quincy Wilson the second round pick some last year Who figure to be. Maybe the number one cornerback a corner in. General I think as a physician group that hasn't had a lot of play making here. In the first couple of, weeks at grand park and they're rotating a lot of bodies there doesn't look. Like many documents, in terms of starters and that group so they need Quincy Wilson, to a, merge because you, spent a second round pick on them you know we know full well how valuable corners are, today that I Sal and the colts just don't have a lot to. Work with with that you know kind of really a it's of, your top four corners I would say three of them are..
