Jamie Kern Lima on How We Can Go From Underestimated To Unstoppable

"Jamie kern lima on dose of leadership. This is amazing. Welcome to the show. Richard thank you so much and excited to be here to share this special moment with you your whole community to you. So it's an honor. Thank yo i gotta tell you. This is an amazing piece of work. You should be extremely proud of yourself for this. I don't need to tell you that. But i mean just from a reader. Just read this. And i've read it and i told you in the prerecording i got this. You guys fed ex this to me monday. I think got it. And i got it last night so i read it nine pm here. It is the next day. I finished it at one pm. Amazing book i just i love it. It made look. I'll be honest with you. It made me cry. I've never cried in book. it made me cry. Maybe he never cried. Okay not in a not in a book like this. I mean maybe in a fictional book. Or something yeah. It's an amazing story. Thank you so much. It's and you know it's been a journey. I think everyone of us has has a story. And i think you know just all of us are kind of on this journey. I think of. I mean for me. It's really it's really you know. So many people think oh. Is this a book about how you went from. Denny's waitress to leading a business. A billion dollar businesses like that's part of it but it's really a story of a girl who went from not believing herself to believing ourself and like not trusting myself to list like to learning how to hear my own gut instinct and learning how to trust it And just learning how to break through all that self doubt that. Hold us back so often and why i wrote. It is really like for a lot of years. I would get these. Dm's on instagram. Where people say. Oh i saw your your story Like hat like was it. Like did you just get lucky. Or because all that's out there is kinda like the headlines. And i realized oh if i don't share if i never share the real story behind the story like how it all happened years and years of rejection opposition and all those things than it's like so many other people out there that maybe are trying to launch their own dream or maybe they're trying to be a better leader or whatever it might be are gonna feel alone and their struggles if they're just reading like the highlight reel of people's success is online and so this is the first time ever but i just i took everything and kinda like throughout that filter out the window and just poured everything i had every personal and professional life lesson i've ever learned and my hope is just. It's absurd for anyone else out there who's really on that journey of like breaking through that self-doubt in and an on that journey to becoming the person they're created a bi. No i mean it's it's it's it's a prescription boards a recipe that you've kind of attacked life with anyway. What thing that's really kind of. Come out of this show and all these conversations when people ask me well. What are the biggest lessons that you've learned from talking to all these people and your book hits all of these these points that you know the prescription that is needed so that is in such lacking in everywhere we look. Is this authenticity. This transparency there's vulnerability which lends itself yet to be courageous. If you're gonna do those things because we suck adams human beings you know what we're bombarded with from our limiting beliefs are doubts. The pop culture the the social media now that just even feeds on that. I mean everybody deals with this head trash this limiting beliefs. These self doubt. It's a constant battle. You still battle with the today. I it with everybody that had on. The show has said that. And that's been a big moment for me on this show and a relief a sense of relief and reading. Your book is kind of the same feeling. That god is when you read it and because you're so authentic you're so transparent you're so vulnerable in this book and you have been in your whole. That's why you've been so successful and entrepreneur in in your brandon's accessible because of those things what do you think when you hear me say that that authenticity transparency vulnerably. That's the currency that's needed right. It is and it's scary for so many of us. I think that you know you look at so many of the studies out there that show. How like it's impossible to have a real human connection if you show up as your representative who you think people want you to be in the and the only real way to have a human connection as show like only parts parts the messy parts but a lot of people who know that awesome miss that connection of like our relationship with our customers also needs to be an authentic one our relationship with our teams and our employees also needs to be an authentic one and we ended up putting so much pressure on ourselves right social media your point to that too but we think all i a leader acts this way or we learn these things and we end up showing up is our own representative and then you know what i've learned and i don't wanna like jump too far ahead give anything up because there's so many crazy stories in the spot but wanted the leadership lessons i would say and life lessons frankly that i after which is three years of rejection a crazy story we finally got one shot on qvc. I can talk about only only if you want to but but you know being on. Kabc for united about a thousand shows live myself. And so i've met tens of thousands of entrepreneurs and brand founders and senior executives. That will go on the television for their company. And it's like all the years when i look back at. What is the commonality between the people that made it and those didn't because most people in the space they they get one shot on air and they never come back because they don't have the sales goal or maybe they they come back twice or three and then they're gone so i've seen thousands of people leave and then like what's the commonality between the ones that lasts and literally. It's not who's smarter. It's not who's more qualified or more accomplished. The people that will lasted were the ones that were the same off air in the green room as they were on here for better or worse like some were wild and crazy in quirky in somewhere very conservative and quiet and like but they were the same and it's because that live on air to one hundred million homes you can't fake authenticity and the only way for customers to connect as when you show up as you you fully are in the thing that one of the things i talk about in the book is In believe it is this lesson. I learn which is that like authenticity. Alone doesn't guarantee success in authenticity. Guaranty's failure

Space Junk Chronicals

"Since nineteen fifty seven. Humanity has been launching satellites into earth orbit. It's estimated in the last four years almost nine thousand satellites in total have put into orbit for the vast majority of space age. There was never a plan for what would be done with the satellites after their lifetime. They were launched without any thought as to how or if they could ever come down the nine thousand or so satellites. Five thousand are still in orbit. Two thousand our service in three thousand are dead. D satellites are usually quite large. They can vary in size from a bus to a box and they aren't the real problem when it comes to space junk the big problem is debris when you send up a rocket there's all sorts of miscellaneous parts on the upper stage of the rocket that holds the satellite. That will go into orbit with it. This can include metal panels bolts screws and even flakes of paint. You'd think that given how big spaces that space junk might not be a problem as douglas adams noted quote space is big really big. You won't believe how vastly hugely mind. Bogglingly big it is suppose you had a million pennies that would be enough to easily fit in a minivan. Now let's suppose you distributed those pennies all over the world including the ocean and antarctica. Each penny would have one hundred ninety. Seven square miles of space or a single penny would have a square which was fourteen by fourteen miles factor in that the lowest earth orbit is a sphere larger than the earth. And that there's a vertical dimension where we could put pennies at different elevations. Then it would seem that space junk was a big problem if the object just sat there. That's true it wouldn't be a problem however all that junk isn't just sitting there. It's orbiting earth at extremely high speeds. Any piece of space junk is probably travelling at at least seventeen thousand miles per hour when something is traveling that fast no matter how small it is it can cause a great deal of damage. Moreover everything is on a slightly different orbit that means over time these orbits can cross and the longer something remains in orbit the greater the odds that these past will eventually cross and that things will smash together some of the things which are floating around in space include two cameras that got away from astronauts players a screwdriver or wrench a full toolbag garbage bags a lens cap a spatula and microscopic flakes of rocket propellant and that is on top of all the rocket debris and dead satellites if a ship with astronauts were to be hit it could lead to the deaths of the crew if important satellite were to be hid it could lead to a loss of critical communications. Gps signals or observational capabilities. This isn't just a theoretical problem. There have been cases of collisions in space. The space shuttle headed many tiny impacts from debris in space on the seven space shuttle mission. In one thousand. Nine hundred three. The front windshield was hit by a fleck of paint which damaged the window. It looked very similar to what happens when a rocket. your windshield damage. To the shuttle's he tiles was so common that the eventually began flying the shuttle backwards in space so that the engines which weren't used during re entry took most of the damage. The shuttle endeavour was hit by an object so large that its radiator looked like it was hit with a bullet. The international space station has to move on average at least once a year to avoid space debris the soviet cosmos twelve. Seventy five satellite was hit by an object in one thousand nine hundred eighty one which was believed to be the first case of a satellite being destroyed by space junk. Perhaps the worst case occurred in two thousand nine when the kosmos twenty fifty one satellite which was dead smashed into the iridium thirty three satellite at a relative speed of twenty six thousand miles per hour. These collisions and there have been several more only make things worse. In the first case three hundred objects were created from the collision in the second there were suddenly thousands of new objects thrown off on different trajectories in orbit in two thousand seven. The chinese government didn't anti-satellite missile test. That blew up a satellite in space creating tens of thousands of pieces of debris this problem of junk causing collisions which then creates exponentially more junk risk. Something called the kessler syndrome. This hypothesized in nineteen seventy eight by nasa. Scientists david kessler. He proposed that collisions could start a cascade of debris which would cause more collisions and even more debris rinse and repeat.

Britney Spears fans call out Diane Sawyer over 2003 interview featured in new documentary: 'I want an apology'

"The fallout from the britney. Spears documentary keeps getting uglier. Justin timberlake was under fire but he is not the only one. Diane sawyer is feeling the heat as well documentary framing brittany featured. Some of diane's exclusive interview with the star from two thousand. Three and fans are outraged. They're saying. Dan owes an apology for grilling her about justin. And whether she's a bad role model for young girls. Here's a clip. He's going on television. Pretty much said you broke his heart. You did something that caused him so much pain so much suffering. What did you do. Britney spears has upset a lot of mothers in this country starting with the wife of the governor of maryland. Really if i had an opportunity to to shoot britney spears. I think i would. Oh that's that's really trying to test a lot of people was pretty wide goodness all right. So there's so much to this interview in fact like after that whole terrible quote from the governor that said i could shoot britney spears diane sawyer to that was something along the lines of well. You've really you know. Made it very hard for a lot of mothers. Wasn't that bad is governor's wife. That's who needs apologize her up unless she's not here or anything like that. But that's what needs to apologize. Get up off. Diane's she's a reporter. She was at a man's world back there. She had to be tough and nobody asked him barbara. Walters apologize but nothing. I'm just i'm done. She had to be tough. 'cause he was week we wouldn't even know her name. Right now feels different. So say you're part because i like when this talk all that i looked up the interview and listen. I'm going to say it's a reflection of the times. It's how we attacked women at that time. It just the things that diane was allowed to say to britney without even a second glance is absolutely appalling. It would never happen in two thousand twenty one. I don't believe she pulled out. Magazine articles Showing brittany and about how she was sexy. And all these things brittany said jaylo does it. Christina aguilera does it. Is it a big deal. Because will you have the connection with the. It's all making her feel guilty on top of that. This is another question. She asked this twenty one year old. She said but you said. I've only slept with one person in my whole life two years into my relationship with justin and yet he's left the impression that you weren't faithful that you betrayed the relationship she's enquiring. How many people britney has slept with questioning her on her virginity on on her sexual relations. That is insanely inappropriate. What she was grown twenty one twenty two. She was grown. She gets grown questions asked at the time she was sixteen. That i would say okay. You a little rough. But she's twenty one years old. You just talked to my nieces. That's what you've been doing your. Sat results long doesn't matter ranger national television. You're asking this young girl to to tell you. All of our sexual secrets and intimate affairs of a relationship overly scrutinized at that time anyways everything she did. This is cobbled reporter year to get the information. It is up to you to answer. Not her publicist should advisor this. You get out of the hard question ooh brennan. Actually i will say handles herself really well. But i think diane sawyer i promise you i truly believe diane sawyer looks back at that interview and cringes bring something. Go through saying if i could do this over again. I would have. Maybe still grilled her but in a much more appropriate way. I think for diane sawyer. Look we have to remember. This was diane's thing. John was known as if you're a celebrity. And you're in hot water. You go sit with diane. Do the tough interview and if you get through it your career is back. Don't forget this is in two thousand. And three a year. After diana whitney houston in she spent two hundred and fifty thousand dollars a year on crack. So you gregory speier's just gonna walk into diane sawyer interview and not be hit with the hard questions. It's a little bit much. It's like somebody saying. Oh i didn't know that howard stern was going to ask me about my sex life. I didn't know my family businesses. We're going to be out of mari povich. It's the town though. It's the town that diane takes with britney. Is it just brittany or does he take it with everyone that i can say. We have an we you. She asked whitney straights her face. Do you spend two hundred thousand dollars. We also cracked that one. I want you to feel guilty for your sex life. I want you to feel guilty for your sexual the way you dress. I want you to feel guilty for your responsibility to be this perfect positive as we received it. I don't think she meant that. I think she was just doing a job. That no one else would do. Because i don't know if i would ask brittany that. I don't think i'm that type of person that i can really ask the hard questions if somebody wants to be an open book. They can't be listening wearing the world now of reality. Television people talked about sex they. They'll they'll open the the open it up. They tell it on their own but back then especially a young girl like that to put the pressure on her to try to be the. We still put the pressure on people stars to be the perfect examples especially when they started like disney princess. And then try to move on to something older but she was twenty one at this point at this point when miley cyrus still got like a big backlash whenever she tried to become more sexualize. However we have let it

"Fallout from the britney. You get out of the hard question

"Mayoral candidate Diane Morales says with over 40 people running for mayor and hundreds of City Council candidates that would require at least a half a million New Yorkers signatures and much more individual contact to collect those signatures, she says it would be a covert super spreader event waiting to happen. Other candidates agree. Brooklyn Borough president Eric Adams calls petitioning Cove it malfeasance. There are the methods and other means that we can utilize and by being creative, and I thought we can protect the public at the same time, have those who want to participate in our great democracy. He's a powerful guy that can hit home runs, but he Purposely pulled his hands close to his body so that he could just power that ball back up the middle to get that run across. That's the kind of hitting that fires up the dugout because they know Hey, this guy's all about the team and all of us about us putting runs up on the board. "Recent and was done out of financial necessity so the pair were at this point in their lives in a dire financial state because even just had finished his national guard training. He hadn't hadn't started yet. He hadn't been assigned to a position so there was no money coming into the households and they've got four kids to adults in one on the way so they were actually forced into moving into a mobile home on Justin's. Mom's property in her name again is Tina so they had all these kids mounting expenses and Christmas miss was coming in this was Jamie's favorite holiday and they really didn't want their kids to wake up Christmas morning with nothing so it's unclear and nobody really knows who's idea India. The sex working was but neither of them were opposed to it especially because the idea of Jamie having other sex partners was not something offensive or offputting to Justin. They were already in this sort of swinger lifestyle and it was something they both were on par with. I you know in the mom mom. Tina who's Jason's mom had only found out about the sex work by accident when the couple once left their laptop open and saw a craigslist posting that they had made together gather and the crowd craigslist subject line read quote come help us and said I am willing I am letting any willie man can come and have his way with my wife with a little compensation for us to help with our holly funding. We need so if this sounds hot and fund to you than just email. Tell me we have a hotel for the night and can host for anyone. Antena confronted the couple when she found the posting and Justin. Jamie just said it won't happen. Okay so now we're GONNA get back to the investigation so just ended up sharing everything we just learned with the police and even told them that normally he would have gone on along with Jamie to make sure that she's safe but on that particular night they couldn't get a sitter for the kids so he had stayed behind and Astra texted regularly to let him know where she was but the police were baffled at what they were hearing because remember these are conservative cops in Oklahoma and this is probably not something that they they are normally used to they couldn't understand how and why a husband would support his pregnant wife as a sex worker and there are so many things to consider center with this revelation first of all was G me really a sex worker was her husband saying these things because he might have been involved in her disappearance for some reason or another and with a police putting their judgments aside another daunting thing to consider was that if Jimmy was a sex worker this now drastically widens the pool of potential suspects. Justin spoke out to the media and you could see his tearful pleas on the news begging whomever who was responsible for causing his wife to disappear to please let her go said if by some miracle you're watching this. I want you to know that I love you and and I cannot wait to see you again and as is happening I mean Justin is actively looking for his wife trying to appeal to the media best he can. Dan with the police are kind of running through the potential theories and no matter what they thought of whether it was could this be random. Could this be you know one of her clients. They kept landing back on the man sitting right in front of them. Justin may not have realized it with the police had their eye out for inconsistencies in his story and there were many not to mention the over lying about what genie was up to that night if he lied about that. What else could he be lying talking about. The detectives also noticed something strange. Injustice were choices as he was speaking. He kept referring to his wife in these interviews in the past tense when they asked him how long he'd been married to Jamie he responded with. It would've been a year in February and remember Jamie at this point has only been missing using for a couple of days very interesting so this case in I think this is a very interesting dichotomy in that like it was getting getting a ton of media coverage and I was actually impressed because once it was revealed that she was a sex worker. I was worried that maybe that wouldn't be the case but that was not true. Everybody was paying a lot of attention to the story. I anguish introduce our first degree right now. Her name is Sandra. She lived right in this neighborhood. She heard the second. This woman went missing and was following the case very closely the one thing we're not gonNa tell you this time which we normally would is how it is connected to the case but you will learn later. I know when Jamie Adams went missing and it was before Christmas and they kept showing pictures of her family and her husband and it tells my heart I mean it was before Christmas yeah I it was a fairly new mothers still so it was like I couldn't imagine my Kim about her kids age and they just to not be able to come home to my daughter. I mean I've deployed away from my daughter before and it bro- broke my heart but not not never be missing. I couldn't imagine what it was doing to her kids or her husband. So just go missing it. was I mean it was everywhere and we all pray that should be safe so all of Oklahoma. City is watching and waiting to see what is going to happen to. Jamie and the police are looking right at Jamie's husband Justin for answers. Justin also told them that in the days since Jamie vanished he been conducting his own investigation and that he'd spoken to the manager at a Denny's which was near the McDonalds Donald's where Jamie's van was found the owner of the Denny's told him that he had seen Jamie paying for her meal at around three. Am I am on December tenth so she left the house between ten and eleven and nine so this would be what four hours later investigators they go to the Denny's they find the manager of the Justin said he was speaking with. The managers told police that I didn't remember seeing Jamie Adams and the surveillance video from the restaurant also didn't show her the restaurant either so this is really weird. Is this another lie or is it some misunderstanding so the police then untold Jamie's van from the McDonald's parking lot and it's searched and they find Jamie cell phone inside her Tan two thousand four Chrysler Van Justin who is being fully cooperative surrenders his phone to the police as well and cell phone data for both Jamie and Justin are pulled in port over and there are many things that the police are able to glean for their viewed and the first thing they now new conclusively was that Justin was not lying about the sex work. Jamie had conversed with four four clients that night and now luckily the police had names in con- contact info for these men but the thing that was the most glaring about the cell phone data was that it seemed to directly contradict Justin story in fact the two phones had actually been together for the entire evening and this is a really big thing because if Justin had been with James Phone all night he must know more than he was letting onto the police or worse he might have been the reason for Jamie's disappearance right so these are big revelations. The police have marching orders number. One contact clear the four craigslist clients. Jamie had conversed with that night but to them at keeping an eye on Justin was actually a top priority because it was seeming more and more likely to them that he was involved some how each of the four clients clients all kind of have alibis and there are no red flags that are raised. I mean soliciting sex work is against against the law and Oklahoma so they're not denying that but there was nothing out of the ordinary that stood out to them immediately when they spoke to these men so at at this point once they talked to them nothing standing out as crazy alarming they decide to focus all their efforts entirely on their prime suspect yeah and if you think it already looks bad for Justin. It's about to get worse so it turns out the couple did not have a perfect marriage turns out that two months before Jamie we disappeared Jim Report to the police that Justin had actually assaulted her. Jamie and three or four children were taken to a women's shelter in Norman two months months before she disappeared. No paperwork was filed about this incident because the pair reconciled but the police also did more digging and they learn that Justin actually had a hundred thousand dollar life insurance policy out on Jamie and as soon as Jamie was turned to be officially dead Justin Justin would be in line for that hundred thousand K. payout right and it's even crazier one a week after Jamie vanished. Justin was seen around town with another young woman. He was seeing someone and had a new girlfriend and this was just a week. After Jamie went missing. It is not a good look. It's not a good luck and meanwhile Jamie. It's nothing has been found dead. I mean shameless missing yeah. He's two months pregnant and with every week that goes by. I mean that just station period goes onto and everybody's worried now. I mean it's been six days since she vanished. There's no sign of her. No activity on her bank accounts please start to increase the very real the possibility that she could be deceased especially given the fact like. I said that she was pregnant. No money no car phone nothing on her person none of your personal items they feared the worst but remained cautiously hopeful so six days after Jamie's disappearance they're you're leaning on. Justin and Justin says I'll take a polygraph test and here are the results he was found to be deceptive when he was was asked to you know your wife's whereabouts.

"Twenty five year old Jamie Adams in thirty year old Justin atoms were newlyweds who lived in the suburbs of Oklahoma City so the pair were like your average you know. Oh mid twenties early thirties couple. They were trying to figure it out. They were parenting. Jamie is four kids that were aged between infant and seven years old there therefrom previous marriage and they were excitedly expecting their first child together in Jamie was around eight weeks pregnant so it was around December in the Christmas holidays were approaching. Jamie apparently loved Christmas. She loved decorating wrapping gift. Giving the works making cookies cookies Caroline Santa route off you name it. She leapt up so this couple had a lot to be excited about and Justin had it just returned home from basic training after enlisting with the National Guard is acts duties had not yet started so he would be home with his family through the holidays which is something they were are all super excited about so our story starts late night on December nine th two thousand eleven the top on the radio was we found love by Riana and Calvin Harris US and movies in the theater were tinker tailor soldier spy and young adults with Charlie Stern who left love her so it's three a m when Justin bangs on the door of his mother's house. Jamie never came home. I can't reach her. He says he's panicked and he tells you that Jamie went to the crest grocery store between ten and eleven. PM and then went to meet a friend and then she went radio silent now Jamie adjusted live on just as Mother's property pretty and just as Mother's name Tina Clark so the Mother Tina and the son Justin hop in the car and go to look for Jamie at at five am as they're rolling through the streets they spot the wife span and it's sitting empty in a local McDonald's parking lot and they look inside. There's no sign of Jamie. They call the cops as soon as they can and they're trying to keep their composure right and when the police get there are Justin is in a full blown panic these agitated and he's kind of urging them to hurry up. He's asking open. The van helped me. Blah Blah Blah and they're kind of put off by him and the officers are asking him questions and he's kind of being evasive and he essentially actually release the circumstances of the events of evening explaining that he can't find or rich's wife now for whatever reason something about justice demeanor was very off putting to the officers. There's maybe he was too pushy. Maybe abrasive or maybe he was just being suspicious. Whatever it was they did not take to him at all they were very apprehensive of him and they asked for proof that the vehicle even belong to him in order to give him access to his wife's fan and this is for something for whatever reason he was unable to prove or provide to them and they didn't let him into Jamie's car and it was left there and later impounded by the police so the police accompanied Justin home and they ended up taking a missing persons report and when the police asked just in which friend his wife had gone to see he didn't have an answer and kind of grays over the question and was just generally super avoidance to them about that subject but he did make sure to punctuate the fact that Jamie was pregnant and she'd also take in her phone and Dan Laptop with her when she left that night he said that he had last heard from her when she texted him from the Fast Food Restaurant around twelve forty five in the morning and and when the police leave Justin Jamie's they try to encourage him to stay calm. Stay hopeful that she'll turn up. There could be reasonable reasonable explanation for all this right but just an antena just knew that something wasn't right right so after the missing persons report is taken. Justin and Tina go home and they the police. GonNa say all right. We'll be in touch. You know. Hopefully you hear from her. Whatever but two days slowly tick by and there's still no sign of Jamie Who has four children at home? It is seven day weeks pregnant so the investigation which probably wasn't doing anything thing yet because it was two days she's an adult there wasn't any signs of foul play was about to enter into kind of super speed and it was really going to catch their interest because two days later. Justin walked back into the police station went to the detectives who took the original report and said that he hadn't been truthful with them when he made the initial missing persons this report the police aren't totally shocked because they could tell that he was being evasive in avoidance during their initial contact with him so he tells them that he said the whole story about. Jimmy going to the grocery store and meeting. A friend was not true. It was a lie which was really heading out to do. The night was meet the client for sex sex. Jamie was a sex worker and his gut instinct was to lie to them in an effort to protect her and I'm sure on some level for checked himself not only from the potential Joel legal retribution but also didn't want police to be judgmental of his wife or anyone else for that matter so as it turns out the fact that Jamie had dabbled in sex work wasn't a total shock to either Justin or his mother Tina in fact many years back Tina had worked in law enforcement and she had been the one to tell her son to omit the fact that she was a sex worker to the police when he was making the missing persons report because she said that if the cops new gene was a sex worker they wouldn't put forth any effort effort to find her. That's the reason why he said that's why I lied. that's why. I didn't tell you the truth and it's true nature. It's true it's it's very unfortunate but it's smart that his mom would have told her that because if he was like. Oh Yeah my wife's sex worker. They could have very well been uh-huh well then she a high risk job John Her. That's and I think the setting in this case I think the fact that it's the suburbs of Oklahoma Ma is something that we have to remind ourselves of throughout this episode. It's like half of this is going to be because they want to solve the case in half of it. Is this judgmental sort of like elitist attitude about this whole thing emanates throughout so here's what Justin Austin tells the police he says that that night Jamie had actually gone to a motel in Norman to meet a client that she met on craigslist and which do is advertise advertiser services as a massage therapist but Justin said he also that she also engaged in sex work the final text that just received that night that Jamie went missing was that she was meeting another client just before midnight on December ninth at the McDonald's in Midwest city which is where van was found right and he then received one more text from her saying that the client never showed up and that was the last he heard from her. "Out of my studio. Doc you. Make it deviled egg. No clue. But I tell you what I do know. How you do it do. Yeah. So what you do is you hard boil the eggs, and then you cut them in half. And you take out the the hard-boiled yoke, right? Then you mix that with like, basically, everything that gives you diabetes. And then you put it in one of those bags that like you can like write stuff on cakes with you know, bless you. That was a cough. Isn't that funny? How we don't say bless you for cost, but for sneezes because if you're coughing you're actually sick and need a blessing when you're sneezing. It's not you just have some tickles knows, you know, stupid. But you know, what our comes from back in the day. I think this is true could be wrong. Get myself dang for it. Anyways. I think back in the day of the plague they thought you're in the play you're sneezing, you'd sneeze a lot like a sneeze fit. And I don't know if it really was true or like, they're just like crazy terrible doctors back then. But that's why people would sneeze. They'd say. Bless you because they're like, well, you're gonna fucking die your. Dead your done. Anyways. I got the black lung. Moore, man. Great reference. Great where Where'd really opt tracking? I fucking love this show so far egg. Oh my gosh. I'm never going to look at an egg the same guy. Oh, dude. Have you guys seen Frye festival? Yes. I want fire. He said fry. Oh. Yeah. Fire on my lesson. Talk about have you seen it yet? No. I have a must watch Morgan must be like, very busy. Yeah. You know, what it is? I get so distracted watching stuff. I'll watch it for five minutes, and I'll happy lightning just bothers me unless I have like a specific. But I did start watching you on Netflix. Okay. That is one show. I can and will finish. But I did have friends who were at was it five fire go they went I need to ask them on the show because they went and I like saw on their story. And apparently, a big disaster. Can we give her friends on to talk about fire better for you? What one of my good friends from college in the film, stop what Calvin wills what he's the guy who starts a fake account way to school with him. Yeah. He's a good friend of mine. And so I have so many questions for him. I almost I almost thinking about we should call them for this show because no he needs his own episode. I think so too. But like, I didn't know this Cal is a good friend of mine from from old miss. And then the joke was that. I'm wells Adams. He was Cal wells. So you're the two Wells', and we were like whatever he just moved back to Nashville who's living in New York. He's an investor and he does like tours, right? Here's my question is what was his. I didn't understand what his role was to begin with and the festival with you. Thank you invested in it guy you, but then he also noticed that a bunch of people on the Bill were his artists that he wasn't icy signing contracts for see I have a favorite part of the film, and I play it. Sure. Did you see my photo on the in the end? Yeah. You're in my mom said I could technically probably sue them for that. I don't think they have any money, but you could. Hulu are. But your one of the like the up and coming DJ's that's gonna be playing fire festival. So what it is? Is that the end they're showing a website that fire festival was creating this like Eappen website to book talent directly versus going to their agent. I guess and they're scrolling down the website. And it's like migos. Cardi B me. That's my picture and a Libyan. I lost our mind..

"But anyways, you you cut me off like a bed bath and beyond finally figured out. 'cause I've been trying to figure out how to make the Croix taste. You know, it's hard to do. It's it takes knowledge of alchemy and chemistry. Now, we'll finally about to be on these little vials that have like the exactly what is in LaCroix. It's like this big like the syrup stuff. It's different than like the MIO drops. Whatever. That's that's all Bs got it. So anyways, I've been I've been killing the sodastream game. So well, anyway, so I went I went on a run today. A mom's in town. So we're going to din the night, which would be fun. Yeah. What else is going? Oh, yes. So I asked a bunch of people to ask us tell us what their like favorite thing is the problem is is that the reason why I was. Excited for this pocket, sir. An hour later. I was going to be I was doing some work like send you files you could hear them. So I don't know how exactly do it. But on sending me files, though, if we want to circle back around to this whole thing, we talk about the the thing you audio. You sent me this morning, the Bobby bones show, Bobby bones show. Do they couldn't not believe that they've been trolling me for years though? Really? It's just it's like one of those things were it's like, okay. I get it. You know, like guys don't like me. Okay, fine. I I don't know what I did to you. But great. It's a morning show. You know that the wacky cast, and I worked in the same building as Bobby bones whip for the same company, and I remember the first interview after I went on and by the way, like we had worked in the same market for years before I went on the bachelorette, and we had never met or whatever. And then I remember going on the show right after the bachelor the bachelorette ended there in mid bit. And I walk in and I sit down, and it's like well that is for the bachelorette is here. It's a true that you're gay. That was the first question asked like I was like, okay, cool. Like, that's that's how we're starting this. They will to play play the just. Just long, but you can play some of it. I just won't be able to hear it. So they know what we're responding to. All right. Let me find it. It just works. We worked with the same company. So you think they'd be on my side think that they'd be rooting for me. But now dog so and we talked about this. I think the other week there day when I was like, my one pet peeve is when people say that Sarah pays for everything. You know what I probably understand hit. We assumed by family pays for my shit. Yeah. And it's like well. Okay. But what? No. So this is this is a cliff fissile player. You know, what I was seeing this morning on the the gossip sites is that Sarah Hyland the girl from modern family, who's dating wells Adams who used to work here that they may be getting married. How really? I moved into her house. We think about that. I mean, nude congrats him, but congrats to her well now lunchbox thing because he went on reality TV, and the now he marries like this success actress supervision like slumming it here at the radio station was people I had a little one bedroom apartment here in Nashville. And now he's living in a mansion with a multimillionaire, Kate, by the way, I did not live in a one bedroom apartment at ask was the part that bothered me the boat. Yeah. "Looking. The seeds. Schedule is expected we hectic there's only so much time in the day. And yet the seat is they're splitting up professional life. That has so many different paths and responsibilities with different kinds of motivation and objectively alone with the personal life with children be crying nurturing inspiration in love we simply had to ask. How does he find the time to not only do these jobs, but do them? Well. Let me give you my little secret. First of all, you know is late nights and early mornings. That's that's what I use. I utilize that time, and I cut a lot of waste though. So my hours that I'm in highschool is very demanding. Some people have these positions where you know, like, you could doubled it, and you can you know, you could cut time and everything I don't have that. So what I had to do was I had to get up earlier and had stay of leader. And then also had the utilize my weekends. So every weekend was generally going away to a show doing a talk. So where you know, pretty much all traveling. So you know, I'm able to find time to do that. Once again, I'm also father. So you've got to squeeze all of that stuff. And you know, sometimes my kids will come with me to the shows and teaching as as they're come into. So they can get understanding what it what it means to be entre nor my daughter's audience right there. She runs the cash. Register my. But you know, all of this stuff is training. You know, you want to be able to set the legacy because at the end of the day. Even though I'm vice-principal at a high school overseeing the pre engineering academy. If I was to expire today with today, you know, they will mourn for about, you know, maybe give me a week. I might get a month. Somebody may still mention me. But then hire somebody else in that place. I need to have opportunity to be able to leave something behind for children and my family love it. Thank you so much in the you. Thank you. "And I like I like a lot of crime stuff, but there is something about stabbing like seeing as her that's seen as brutal. If you can get that one, then you're fine, then I couldn't. I just couldn't. And I don't know any other kind of violence. I've really okay with. But there's something about stabbing scenes that really do a number on me and I just could not get past that. Yeah, I hear you on that. That season. The first season is really, really good. I've just finished the second season in. I didn't love as much as the first and then my land got a couple more one. Fucking TV to lose her. I have another one to keep going. Okay. The next one. Oh, remember when I told you about American vandal the mockumentary and like you couldn't like grasp it. So he's got a new season of it, and it's about the to the doodoo bandit to like, oh, the third burglar anyways, it's about some guy who dislike terrorizes a school shit, and it's so fucking funny. That's great. And I just started last night the first that's with Sean Penn on Hulu, Alex, that it's all about, like going to Mars. The first time off at the first not to ruin it with the first. I've only the first episode, but I was like amend of this. The first episode is Sean. Penn is like the astronaut leader, and he gets like scrapped from the mission. He asked like, kinda like, sit by and watch all the guys he trained or whatever. All his comrades co workers like go up to be the first man mission to Mars and exp. 's like, oh, he has sent from like the trailer or whatever. It looks like he ends up like doing the next mission. So I'm only like right at that point put. That's cool. I'm gonna. I'm gonna start that one tonight. That's sounds good. You have who I do. All right. Yeah, that if I was the only province Sean Penn looks like he's doing some steroids, like he's way too jacked up saying old relay. Real vainly, real vascular, not loving weird. You speaking a Hello? Did he ever watched Handmaid's tale? No, I watched like China, so like, all right, I can't do this. I loved it. It was great. Did you watch sharp objects on HBO? No, I think you'd like that. It's fantastic. I. So it's a book by Gillian flan which I, I read years ago when it came out that they turned into a series Amy Adams stars in, and it's it's pretty. It's lined up pretty well with the book which is great. Usually like if I've read something that watched the, you know, usually Bubis never as good as the book or whatever, but HBO did a really great job with this series and Amy Adams really killed it. The last episode was a little weird the way they ended it with the twist and everything, but it was great though. I loved it. I think he's watch it. Why sort of watching berry on HBO with Bill Hader? Have you seen that one? Now? I have. I love him though. I do to the Hugh civic like I still see him in forgetting. Sarah Marshall were how he's like, oh, I know what you're doing. It. I loved him in trainwreck to Amy. Schumer movie. Yeah, he's so good. I love him. He wanted me as well and Ellie dead. Yeah. Let the premise of that is. He's a hit man, and he has to go to l. a. to like, do a hit on. It's like a mob boss. His wife is fucking the trainer, you know, like the GM and so he's got to go out and like kill the trainer as he follows him around like the trainers, like in an acting class, like everyone. Goes into the acting class, and he realizes that he wants to become an actor. It's just him having to be a hit man, like he can't get out of it. But he also really wants to be an actor. Harry Winkler who was like the fawns he won. He won an EMMY for best supporting. So that's fine too. So this is a big TV heavy episode for doing right now. It's appropriate with all the TV coming back..

"Adams was shown to be just a charlatan their respective audiences were totally polar opposites in how that conversation worked out it's like people thought scott items absolute mocked the floor with them and i'm i don't understand what planet they're on i didn't that worked well at all it isn't even make any sense there's one movie and you have two groups of people who are taking way different things there aren't too movies that's ridiculous again another failure of analogy it's it worked perfectly because there it's exactly what you said they're in a way round who movies there aren't too many this movie as though there's two movies a put final no live in it's still doesn't make sense it's as though two sets of people are watching the same movie getting different things from that phil that's that's much closer to the analogy that they hoped to create so that that was a a fumble i think but i understand that that's what the conversation is about that's the fundamental crux of the discussion it is how can otherwise aligned people have such differing opinions on but that but that's politics all around i mean that's forever and a day that is exactly how politics conducts itself in the global conversation always you'll find people falling on different sides of the fence where otherwise they would be in complete agreement it is the most divisive human investigation there is no but the thing that's confusing about it or a thing that's depressing is that there are apparently faxon the game and people aren't interested in those ice a post truth world well that's that's doesn't sound like a good thing to me okay so so.
