"All we know from what I've seen, so far all we know is that the first huge guaranteed, there are guaranteed dates on the following years, so there's some partial guarantees in here potentially some non guaranteed money as well, which makes sense. But what do you think the rocket's locking him up for four years potentially? All right, if you're watching front office show, you know you're going to put up with some cap nerd stuff here. And this was fun. That's what they're here for. Yeah, right? That's why you're here. This was fun with the rockets did this whole process. So Armani Brooks was on a two way contract with the rockets last year. They signed him this off season to a camp deal, which was a non guaranteed contract, which had the ability to be converted to a two way deal. So what happened here was you can not take a player from a camp contract and sign them to a new contract. It's not allowed. So what they would have had to do was they would have to wave them on a Brooks in that situation, expose him to waivers. This guy actually played pretty well too. I know a lot of people probably weren't watching the rockets at the end of last year. But the average 11 points per game down the stretch of the season. And he can shoot the crap out of the ball. So good chance he would not have made it through waivers. Somebody probably would have claimed him. 56% from three so far. Sorry to interrupt. There were 56% from doing so far in preseason, not sustainable, obviously, but the dude could shoot. Yeah, he's gonna be a guy who's in the 40s if he gets consistent minutes in the MBA. So what they did to avoid that process was, they waved it to April air Tyler bay, which opened to a spot. Then they convert Brooks to a two way. I'm getting really excited. I like this. Then they now Brooks is on a two way. So that happened yesterday. Today, they sign him because you can sign a player from a two way to a standard contract. So they signed him from the two way to his standard contract. So it's a couple step process to get around that idea of waving him and exposing him to be and claimed on waivers. So they were able to work through that and around. And that gets him to the rockets on this four year deal. Because it's a four year deal and they're over the cap, they had to dip into some of their mid level exception. To do this. But they're about started the day. They were about 6 million under the tax line. So it'll be now probably four and a half million or so under the tax line. So not the end of the world. They should be fine with everything they need to do. What they will need to do though now is they're going to have to eat a full guaranteed contract because they do have 15 of them. But if we remember Dante exome, which not saying he will be the one for sure. But Dante axum, his contract is very incentive laden. So they could get out of that for fairly cheaply. And there's been a lot of buzz that it could maybe be Daniel house. Some people are thinking, but there's rumors that they've offered him an extension recently..

"Can really compound, right? That's where you do double damage because say let's say you wind up at the end of the season in a close race for the play and spot with the kings and you gave the kings two wins on their record and two losses on yours because you were missing Zion the first couple of weeks of the season. That couldn't matter. Yeah. Well, then you said Minnesota's in there twice. Twice as well to tiebreakers, right? That'll come into play as well with these guys. This is why this is just a mini soap box right here. I hate when the NBA schedule, and I get it, making the NBA schedules and absolute nightmare actually have a friend who that's part of what he works on for the league. I get it, but when teams play other teams, two, three, sometimes even the whole season series is done in this band of like a month or two. It's the worst, because if you hit a team like this, raids ions out. Let's be positive. And let's say he's only out for a month to start the year. He's backed by the end of November. He's right around Thanksgiving. Now, these teams might have got through and now they don't they're never going to have to play them. Where they're going to have to play with one. So maybe twice. And those kind of things. And it's a little easier to swallow when it's a cross conference game. Because there are only two of those each year so you know, hey, if it happens it happens. But at the point, when it's a division team or another conference team, we've got to do better about spreading those out. There's 6 months of this season. We've got to be able to spread it out across C 6 months somehow. It should not be playing multiple teams. You know, and I get there trying to do the travel thing and all that. So I fully get that. But there's just gotta be ways we can do this. Absolutely. Absolutely agree. Absolutely. Let's talk about your guy. Marcus smart suspended. Sounds like he missed the team flight. And so he has suspended now suspended for a preseason game like how big of a punishment is that?.

"That means that's when they're checking in to see if they're healing properly. And then you're gonna get an update from there. So we can't even take this as okay, well, Zion's back in two weeks. He's only missed in the first week of the season. The pelicans may be out with be without Zion for even longer. Maybe they won't, maybe he turns out he's fine in two weeks, but we don't know right now and a slow start for the pelicans is only going to add more pressure than you're only going to start hearing more about Zion's future. Could he be pried away from New Orleans at some point, right? Those stories are going to keep popping up. If they do, indeed, get off to a slow start. Yeah. So we think of a guy like talent more than Tucker, where it's a thumbnail. He can still keep his conditioning up because he can still run, he can still do all those things, Zion, presumably, can't do any of that. Now there's the anti gravity treadmills in the underwater treadmills and all those other things. And I'm sure they're working through all that stuff. But generally, you're absolutely right with that is you hear that reevaluate. And there's usually a week or two after that before the guy gets back. So a lot of times it's conditioning stuff. Sometimes if they're conditioning as good. It's just timing, getting their basketball rhythm back. And then they go so yeah, I think for the pelicans too. Why this is really tough is they don't have a great replacement for him on the roster. Now it's not fair. Is that a great replacement in the league? Exactly. But forgot to really play the four, not that doesn't look too good. They're bigs aren't really guys. We can play the four valentines in Jackson Hayes and Willie hernan Gomez. They're really pure 5s. Brandon Ingram can slide up, but we know what happens when that happens. Your defense kind of goes to crap. Just 'cause he's just not big enough to hold hold off those guys. Naji Marshall can do some of that, but more of a perimeter based guy, Trey Murphy, the third he's a rookie, but again, another perimeter guy. So that's where it gets a little tough. I mean, it might be herb Jones. The Rookie second rounder might be their best bet there. My guess is they'll just play small and they move Brandon Ingram up and just kind of lean on their offense. While Zion is out, but it is a little messy, and I'll say one other thing on this too. What's really disappointing is, it was only a couple of weeks ago on media day when David Griffin broke this news. Instead, his exact comment was, he'd be back for the regular season..

Kyrie Irving. I have no personal dislike for Kyrie Irving. I just want to put that out there. Don't agree with the vast majority of the things he says. But I don't dislike Kyrie Irving but yeah, well, we got a little closure I guess to this. It was funny we were watching TV last night when I saw people like wait, Kyrie's going live on IG, so I was like, well, I gotta pop in and watch that. I've stealth IG account that I don't use for anything other than following him. I was gonna say Keith, I'm hurt. I asked you months ago if you had an Instagram account and he said, oh no, I don't even do Instagram. Now I find out you've got a burner Instagram account. I'm gonna storm out of this podcast, man. Go off. Hit the road. You leave me all by myself. That's kind of my dream, and I can just talk the whole time. It'd be great. Instead of the ten seconds, I give you each show. Yeah, so he basically went on him. I'm very much gonna paraphrase because it was long. It was a lot of stuff that he said. The things we care about for basketball reasons are he will not get vaccinated. He has no plans to get vaccinated, and he is basically not happy, but accepting of the fact that he can't play. He said he's going to continue to work on it. And see where that can go, but don't expect to see him around anytime soon playing in a basketball game. And then as far as things that are kind of up our alley contractually, we're also broke that then the nets will not offer him a contract extension that would have been at about a 184 ish, a 185 ish million right in that range..

Gabby Petito: Timeline of Missing Woman's Cross-Country Road Trip
"Let me tell you. Notice story about of gabby petito in her boyfriend bryan laundry. Do you feel you and this is why if you have daughters stories like this is the reason why call my daughter three or four times a day right now. Gabby petito and brian laundry boyfriend girlfriend notch normal boyfriend and girl from them have my anxiety going through the roof the zion a little bit so they were kind of like no matter where they would rent truck they would drive all over the country. They would take pictures. They would do blogs right so the fact that she didn't speak to her mother in a couple of days was normal. So you know after a week. Mom said look. I haven't spoke to my daughter what's going on. It was just weird so she reached out to the boyfriend bryan laundry. He didn't answer his phone. He didn't call her back. Seem pretty way called family than in a family would answer So she filed a missing persons report like she should've after filing a missing persons report. Police went to brian laundries house which is out in florida family's house and when they asked. Hey you know wisdom young lady Blog you travel world together. What's going on. They gave him the lawyers number. He got into loyd new to me. They're ready lloyd. Up gave molloy all calculated of leaving the question. He already added lawyer ready. Okay bass right has made him a person of interest kind of weird right you give number. You don't say what happened. They're not talking at all now. His girlfriend is missing his young ladies missing. She's from long island the away. Nobody says nothing. So now they find his body over the weekend in a wyoming on national forest park that they believe the remains are hers so now they believe he's a person interested in now. They can't find him he got. They don't know what he's he's more than a person of interest in. I mean i guess you got the. He's still a person of interest for legal purposes but clearly he's a suspect at this point as the same thing right person interest suspect. I don't know yeah. So a tic tac claims she was a drive-in and brian laundry hitchhiking. He jumped in a car and as they were saying they will go into that same. We call her tucker that. That's that's so insane. I thought i referred are referred to ask taco they said her name is miranda miranda bake- baker said her and her boyfriend seen him he was hitch-hiking he jumped in a car and said hey we go into the park with remains found not that popular with going to the park and he's got crazy jumped out the car and ran off. They said that deal. That was weird but now they're realizing that was probably weird. 'cause that's probably where he knew. The body was lord. Have mercy so i hope they catch him

"Percent. That's the chunk of american adults that are now at least partially vaccinated against cove in nineteen. The milestone comes about a month later then president. Joe biden's fourth of july goal but as white house corona virus coordinator. jeff. Zion said monday. There's been a recent increase in vaccinations with these ongoing efforts. There's a strong sense of progress and you see it in the number of shots were getting into people's arms each day over the past few weeks we've seen a nearly seventy percent increase in the average number of new people getting vaccinated each and every day in the last seven days alone. Three million americans have gotten their first shot. That's the highest seven day total since july fourth. And it's very important to note in the states with the highest cates rates daily vaccination rates have more than doubled. The eight states with the highest current case rates have seen an average increase of one hundred seventy one percent in the number of

They're looking at a situation where there have four hundred million dollar guys in nine to twelve months and we'd never see by the other part of it is though they're gonna see s those guys are really will. They were all day to miami eat. You know what i mean. What am i am eat. it's got to the nba final. We're not talking about those five guys on that today with the same reverence yet that we did last year and they're going to have to see if those guys are gonna have the same reverence next year. Then you'll know if you you have the chats while on you're also in a bitch of a conference yes does not a lot of room in the west you can go forward. Ten really liked old. Stay coming back next year. Yeah we have a healthy lakers team we would. We would assume like you go down the line. It's like denver. Murray will be backed by hopefully by march. Still there clippers. I guess you know what the funny thing is people. Ask me about how good milwaukee was. And i was like. I'm not a hundred percent choice. Why said because they're in the east. You got twenty eight games that you should win twenty four. I spent a lot of years when the knicks were bad. When that's a bad wizards. Cleveland troy plan. Four times i mean that's twenty those five t named in his four three or four more thought. Like i'm like i'm not sure you in sixty games in the west. I know you're good. There's no doubt about it. You play utah. What tom leykis clippers. Four times denver. Four-time like i know you're good like in the in the east. You could win sixty games and not really be a great team. Yeah what do you expect. What would you want golden state to do before we go. They got seven and fourteen. They got wise men who clay coming back does all these different directions. They could go. And everybody's like no they should trade those picks first star. There's no star it's like all right we'll find me the star washington doesn't want to trade bradley beal. Yeti wanna leave if it's not ben. Simmons doesn't make sense so they're gonna end up making these picks have this weird team of like young guys in guys ready to win the title right now. What would you do wanna golden state warriors. Would you know anytime. I have Steph curry on. I'm trying to win. A title meets his. Oh any any any way. That i could win a tidal. And what is it gonna take. I'm going to do that. i'm never gonna go. I'm building for my future. My future is now and this guy's got about four year run where he could play at this love. So i gotta take advantage of those four years and at least these three. I gotta take advantage So i'm getting players in there that uh ready to win an nba type. So you're trading like wiggins seven and fourteen for siaka those kind of trades. Well i think wiggins. And i'm not sure if that's such a big upgrade. What i'm gonna upgrade. If i think that i think we can do what siachen does if he had klay thompson on the floor with them not to say i. I actually agree with you. But i'm in the wiggins minority. But i just shock them. Seems like the if they're gonna upgrade. I think that's best available for them. 'cause i don't think they're getting brad they bill for what the what the have you know. And ben simmons is. The is the biggest upgrade. So you do that. Yeah i would i would. I would definitely take center because if you think about what about george draymond us. Yeah draymond is able to get the at twenty assistant a gay able to rebound a dissent. Any very very rarely take shots. But he's not the offense player that says in the paint so he doesn't get into the he can't drive the lanes and score the way. Ben simmons ben simmons to pass the way he like so i would open a floor and have him at the point and have play on one stretch on one side and step on the other. He'd have an open lane to the basket. So you're saying like almost like almost like how they use dollar but like on steroids without question the size and strength and his ability to go downhill is better than all of those dots yet. So like wiggins seven and fourteen for simmons without forcing. I kind of let you know that's a. I never thought us simmons in the dollar spot if you use their mid two thousand ten teams that actually you know could really shoot either. I don't. I don't have to worry about shooting. If i play and stuff on the floor i don't have to worry about. I have never have to worry about you. Plus a couple of free minimum guys. Yeah yup they're gonna they're gonna spread the floor around after work Did you talk to check when the seasons that happening or do you need. Do you need to detox from him. Is it like a chuck diet talks. But i did talk about two days ago a day. More about facetime. I it based type sack. Yeah you know. And i study and i started early last days based on three one because we went to i went to the premier space. Yes and my kids. Were we loved it and we facetime earning. Y'all i was so proud of him his face there. I don't know why it was so different. Because i went to a movie theater. I guess to see ernie on a big street screams. Aren't you proud for some reason. And i was sitting in when he comes down the screen. I'd like i'd never had that feeling for him about him like that. I don't know why was so brown. He's won emmys good but i. I was super proud of it. Being a spaceship took real shock. I was faced object. Wichita he's gonna be dj vegas. I was like laughing about that. And and i was talking to charles and it was a play comparison where we will have an argument. Who's a better player in outside basketball arguments all the time and so we had to have charles travel culture so i miss them. I guess eccentric you do. How are you feeling about north carolina. Hoops thanks you. Oh yeah we're a. I'm excited i think A lot of good young transfers lot of good young freshman coming in. And i'm interested to see what you i know. He's going to have an enthusiasm and sites that you know not to say that doesn't happen. I rock like are you kidding me. So you're gonna have those efforts that no one could say the app. So i'm excited. I'm excited by one hundred percent. Are you going to be like uncle. Kenny handed out. "Go bill. The end is near. The end is where did you. What was the biggest lesson for you from this basketball season. Did you take anything away. Did so you feel like the bucks. Were the right team that won. And yet i could argue. If durant's big toe is six inches back the nets when the title like i like how regular remember this season five years from now they could sustain. They couldn't couldn't get they couldn't play well enough to get kyri box. They could play well enough to get heart and healthy. The bucks did that. Yeah we watched the guy have made me one of the most catastrophic looking injuries with not and they held it down until he got it so to me. That was the difference. I'm like this is the whole down here. Can you hold me down. Yeah you hold your best players down. And the milwaukee bucks held them down so i tip my hat to. Because the lakers couldn't do it. You know so. Yes could philly philly kind of been have to do it. They just didn't play well so they were the best thing. Would you trade. For ben simmons without question you know i used to play with a couple of guys and as you say. They couldn't super basketball all through my life high school college. Whatever and i always a good shooter. But i'm like oh come on. Let's go workout. will you come. We'll get jumper right. We'll get an eighty johnson. I said but you know we gotta get to a point where you're gonna shoot it. Well enough you're gonna tell you. But i still do this so well. You're not you still might not see it. So let's concentrate on what you do really well. So yeah you don't shoot the three but they might not ever have to see it you know and that's when you start becoming a leak and that's what you honest it you said. I don't super three while. But i'm gonna do this so great that you might not have to see and i think ben has really focused on that and say i'm gonna push the basketball at six foot ten at a pace that you might not ever see me shoot at three but i will work on what you might have this. Yeah i guess. I'm a big defender. Has i thought he was terrible. In the playoffs i mean he obviously fell apart. The question for me is there's this i think as a regular season guy. I could build a team around in. That's good right like you said. I put the ball in his hands. I'm running. i'm going shooters. I'm just. I'm i'm giving him the car keys doing his thing. But when we get to the playoffs and it slows down and it gets super physical and it gets tense and you can feel it in the arena and every every possessions like squeezing blood from iraq Do i want him out there in those in those situations. That's the part. I can't wrap by hetero well to be a great to me and lights like a superstar. Not not a lot of all star. There's all sorts to stop a superstar five way to control the game. Obviously we know rebounding scoring assists in his defense leadership and then the last which is the most important for guard is pace of games so in the playoffs. When you play. The scenic sons. With steve nash jason kidd. You still have to play fast. Yeah like they make you play at that. I don't care who you are. You're gonna have to score one hundred ten points. The beat the phoenix suns. with jason. kidd. Steve nash at the point in the playoffs. That's how he has to say to me. That's what i would be emphasizing. If i was a team-mate coach general manager president. You have to play his face and you have to make us play and make other teams say you gotta school hundred ten to beat us and if you could do that no one's going to give a damn about to jump shots well. He's not the player. Hakeem was but everyone forgets there. Was this a key moment right in ninety two before he had his three run where he wanted to get traded. He was out. There was available. And i remember there. Were like reggie lewis for hakeem trade rumors. Every city had their version of like. Can we gotta keep a little like what is happening dame lillard now and i wonder like with this philly thing because to me it seems broken. I just don't think embiid and simmons make sense together. I don't think they're ever gonna make it but we kind of felt like with akeem in houston in ninety two. It's like oh well he can ever be. The best guy in a title team needs to change of scenery. We had all these preconceived things then he ripped off one of the great three year runs. Any centers. had simmons isn't akeem. But it's always. I always i was think about that. Sometimes their trade you don't make can be the best trade you make you know the trade i was just gonna let you actually go through and it was glen rice. And lots of divas for accumulates. What and that's it. And and and i gotta pick glen rice. Was the shooter you saw at. The time was slot. So you know that was a trade. That was gone out. And i remember going to the team and goi- really want about me and then l. Anyway he went to college there. Yeah i can't believe in houston. He's been a place he'd been for twelve years. You know were really close and most of all team. That's well guys. Like we all had a relationship where we could ask the honest question to each other and and he kind of danced around it and so he said i haven't heard.

Is this a mom and pop organization or is this a real mba organization where they'd take care players and you know this is an a-plus effort behind the scenes. What was your what. Did you learn as you recovering at that time. Yeah i mean. I think the first season i was there. They set records for for games missed because of injury and illness in like i did a story where the lead trainer there was basically like i was asking about all the technology that they were interested in an image. Just heads quote about like like my hands like my hand or whatever. Rely on victor. She is not a great sign. I mean yeah the thing. I always tell people is i think people wanna focus on like they want to look at the pelicans injury situation think it's like a decrepit hospital or something like that but a lot of these. These issues happened on the fringes. Things like you're talking about erik gordon. Who can't stay healthy. But he's also unhappy and in just like that type of thing just festers and it just compounds in like that sir. All of those things tend to build up. And that's the real issue with a small market franchise if is if you don't have the resources or just know how to in order to do those little things that build into bigger successes. I i just think it often overwhelms you at a certain point and to your point like injury stuff like to this day. They brought in the training staff. It seems like there's a better situation there haven't been there long time but it still feels like they're fighting the injury bug today and it's a weird time in the league right because their mentality with davis is like we gotta get center next time right. That's yet they're the this is where the league's going. So well it's omar asheq it's robin lopez over and over again but now really like what the way they should have gone has been like we don't need a center let's go let's go smaller. Let's build like a fast team with shooters. But i just i don't blame them for not realizing it. Because this was the roy hibbert era all the sudden ended abruptly and all the sudden the warriors are sharing this new era but they spent a lot of capital. Trying to put guys next to davis. That was really a waste of resources. Yeah i mean the asheq. Trade was kind of in the following re-signing of him that summer. I believe ooh the record scratch on. Mba big men. Who's like that was win. The door closed and big men. Were no longer the types and so longtime they kind of traded back and forth between Going offense only with ryan. Anderson are going defense only with omarosa they were never in the perfect spot and then it leads to this issue. Where davis doesn't want to play center and then you're trying to like cater to his needs and when you're getting into that situation i think the signing kind of speaks to that you're really trying to appease him maybe that's not best long-term for the team. And so you get into this weird nebulous place where you don't wanna be. Is it just like like. I said before it just compounds in like these things tend to build up well and you of a situation. Where new orleans is the number one draft pick our of the game show are. We sure they should have an nba team. And right. look we just saw it with milwaukee you have the right organization in place in the right ownership and people really investing in. It's basically all they're doing is thinking about how to make this an awesome. Nba franchise despite some market limitations. That's gonna work. You also have him walkie of a legacy of you've fifty years of basketball fans. You have some fun. Things that happen. New orleans says the opposite new orleans said the jazz in the seventies which were catastrophe they end up moving to utah They have this kind of weird charlotte situation that George shinn flee flees from charlotte ends up in new orleans. Then now all that stuff they up going back As an expansion team it's just the fit was never right. We've had moments where You know especially with chris in two thousand eight where they went toe to toe a little bit But it just never happened. These last twelve years they were owned by the same family that owned the football team. We all know what they're going to care about more. We all saw. This seat said those smoothie king center whatever it was called before that where and you just look at this and you go the city staff basketball team so the answer is yes. It was probably properly managed. Anyone should have a basketball team. But when you take a small market combined with some incompetent decisions and The fact that honestly if they get michael kit grow crest instead of davis two thousand twelve. Then what happens. What are we looking at. I mean this team won the lottery twice with two generational talents in the right. You know you'd say zion. And anthony davis are probably the two best prizes of this whole decade.

"And and then this last word in verse five but the unjust or the center knows no shame. The unjust knows no shame. Member in isaiah talked about shame as well. That will bring shame to you now. Here's an interesting thing. Shame can be a horrible horrible experience. It's an all of us probably experienced that we might call toxic. Shame right that sense of just Were beat ourselves up. Beat ourselves down without without mercy without without even truth. But there's also a good part of shane. There's a there's a double meaning of shame. Even john paul. The second saint john paul. The second talks about this. When it comes to the garden of eden right were the man and woman were naked yet they know shame and then when they fell in send than they actually knew there naked and they've experienced shame and there's something they covered themselves and john paul points to that and says they're actually their experiences. Shame has a dual thing..
NBA Rumors: Pelicans Plan to Hire Former Sixer Willie Green as Head Coach

It's just now going to be the third head coach that Zion Williamson is going to have his third year in the league. Play with the Clippers was with Orlando as a player the last few years, though, because just because you're a former player doesn't mean that you're going to be a great coach. You want to see what experience? Yes. Sometimes guys have a lot of experience. Sometimes guys have no experience. Willie Green was on the Golden State Warriors staff 2016 2019. And Is on the sun staff, too. Currently So this is someone That has been around the league now for a while. And Yeah. I don't know how

Establishing the Discipline of Conversation Design - Rob Hayes Head of Product at Voiceflow Talks Conversation Experience Design - Voicebot Podcast Ep 209 - burst 09
"Let's talk about design so conversation design. You've probably learned a lot about conversations design of your fast job at ada and the now a voice flow when you think about the practices that people are employing today. What what do you think's the most interesting in terms of how this is evolving. The one of the more interesting things you're starting to see is as as these teams are as the teams are getting established within organizations You know. I think maybe the first conversation designers really get introduced into Organization focused on a specific and then another one for another channel. And now you have. Now you have a discipline established once you have to conversations niners working onto channels. You have a discipline established and so starting to see more of that. The conversation design practice being established. And then you know. They're they're starting to think about okay. We're not building. we're not building an ivy. Our experience and a mobile a mobile assisted interface Separately these are these are two touch points with with the same brands conversational experience. And so how do we. How do we think about consistency across channels ends and then ultimately how do we hand off between channels to the to the appropriate channel. That's best suited to to deliver on this. And so i think one of the one of the more interesting patterns. They're starting to see is just you know what is what is the interplay across conversational channels within a single organization whether that be behind the scenes just in terms of how that the teams approaching it designing for creating consistency of language content personality flows within the experiences to ultimately having interplay between these channels in the future. Yes are you seeing more of that cross channel collaboration. The it's it's happening on the behind the scenes part of a lot. Or there's there's attempts to really get that structure in place to be able to do that. That's how to. How do we share a source of truth on on our on our contents. What is our what is our content management system that we all pull from what is the what is the intense the list of intense that we support and which slice of that does each channel handle and wears their overlaps. Even between you ex design and conversation zion. You know where to these experiences. Start to overlap. an water the assets that were building around for those so you start to see a lot more of on the back office side or behind the scenes thinking about how do we work across channels To save effort redis redundancy but also ultimately to create a you know a a more cohesive cohesive experience for someone who's interacting with our with our company regardless of what conversational touch point. So it sounds like there's more coordination may be than in past when there was basically zero coordination across the different channels different different executives in charge different budgets all these other types of things different objectives So that's yet it's an interesting but are they actually sharing resources they are. They really collaborating beyond sort of the standards and policy level Are they actually creating experiences together. Are they sharing those resources of conversation designers across these different use cases. It has as much as there are enabled to do. I think this is. This is one of the the pattern the patterns that you'd see from from certainly from people with a connie copywriting background or a a u x background. Where this is like. It's a familiar thing because that's what you would do in those disciplines is year. You have design systems. And you've got your your content style guides and these resources that are built to be shared regardless of what channel output to create that consistency. So there's a lot of effort to being done to to replicate those those items for conversational experiences. You know what is our conversation was conversational design system and that includes everything from how we how we authenticate a user through a conversational platform to how we say goodbye. And it's it goes from everything from the the actual user flows the the functional interactions that users having to the contents of what's being said

"zions" Discussed on All God's Women
"So who were the daughters of zion. Each term used throughout the bible mostly in the old testament but occasionally in the new testament as well. Zion's not a person but rather a place zion is the dwelling place of the lord. Daughter of zion is usually used to describe the inhabitants of jerusalem daughters of zion reverse to specific women and today's passage in isaiah. Three sixteen to twenty six isaiah is speaking directly to wealthy jewish women who had gone astray isaiah three opens by giving judgment on the men of judah and jerusalem. He warned the israelites of what is to come in the days ahead because of their wickedness he specifically addresses the wealthy and those in positions of leadership because they're the ones who were living in luxury while oppressing the poor. They had become an aristocratic society that was leading to the moral decline of their culture. I find versus six and seven particularly interesting. How they were going to choose their leaders but that discussion. We'll have to wait for another day today. We concentrate on what isaiah had to say on the daughters of zion after fifteen verses of condemnation for the men verse sixteen opens with moreover the lord says after rebuking the men for their role in the destruction that was to come isaiah turns his attention to the women to let them know that they're responsible as well. Bursts sixteen describes the women's behavior specifically the way they walked because the daughters of zion are haughty and walk with outstretched necks and want an is walking and mincing as they go making a jingling with their feet. Verse seventeen prophesized. What will happen to them. Because of their era guidance therefore the lord will strike with the scab the crown of the head of the daughters of zion and the lord will uncover their secret parts. Isaiah goes on to give an exhaustive list of all the jewelry and accessories that the lord will take away from the women. The list includes anklets scarves necklaces bracelets headdresses headbands perfume boxes. Charms rings nose rings purses mirrors an robes. He closes the chapter with the list of replacements. Instead of the sweet smell of their perfumes there will be a stench. Instead of they're pretty sashes rope baldness will take over there beautifully. Styled hair rich robes replaced with sackcloth branding instead of beauty and if that's not enough there men will die in battle verse. Twenty six concludes with her gates shall lament and mourn and she being desolate shall sit on the ground. Why does is e start by talking about the way they walked. Well let's look at how they're walking out nex. We would describe that as walking with your nose in the air. A way of saying that you're looking down on others because you're better than they are. Wantin- is that means ogling or flirting we can assume for the rest of this passage that these are married women so why are they flirting with other men walking and mincing as they go the an iv version translates that as strutting along with swaying. Hips in other words flirting. So how does god respond to their flirtatious and proud. Behavior translated literally verse. Seventeen says the women will get leprosy or other sickness. That causes their hair to fall out. That would be a pretty scary warning especially for vein women who are consumed with their appearance while many of the items listed in verses eight through twenty three are familiar to us. many more are obscure items that we're not sure what they were. Bible scholars point out. That many of these articles came from foreign cultures. I wanna man even. Oh what happened these things were. The general consensus is that his wife who was a prophet is probably provided him with this list of items worn by these women. Isaiah reminds them that these things they have are fleeting and will soon be replaced in a mere ten verses highs. Ahah takes us from these women at the height of their popularity feeling like they're living the dream to them tumbling down to the depths of humiliation from walking with outstretched necks and a jingle to their steps to morning destitute on the bare ground. What a fall while this was written about women centuries ago the same message can be preached today. Are we not living in a society much like the one isaiah describes we as christian women could be called daughters of zion. Are we guilty of the same transgressions as these women. Perhaps you don't mince and strut as you walk and you probably don't jingle but do you have pride in your heart. Are there people you look down on those. You consider inferior. How much time do you spend on your outward appearance. How much time do you spend on your spiritual appearance verse. Seventeen talks about god's stripping away. They're beautiful hair and uncovering their secret parts. What if god stripped away your carefully combed hair your makeup and manicured nails your jewelry and fashionable clothes. What would be left

"It's like you can't choose right like you gotta try to do both Zions already taking his time with the post game apparently he works out after games because of course he works out after Games. And that's delaying everything for forty five minutes or so and yet people stayed around and asked a million. Lebron questions. This is one thing I want to dig into. Though Michael It ties into his Zions first matchup with honest where I thought the big takeaway from him was just a fearlessness factor. It was like yeah. If you honest has the ball I'm GONNA go rip out of his hands if Janas blocks be. I'm gonNA still challenge him. There's not really like an intimidation factor. Getting his feet. Wet factor at all about. It's sort of like yeah. I'm already here. I mean just kind of carries himself. He's a third or fourth year pro. Already it was pretty much the same deal with Lebron like. He was getting ask questions about Lebron. He was getting annoyed. Michael at one point. He started laughing when someone said. Hey is it. Surreal to share the core with Lebron made. It was almost like a reflexive laugh. Like come on like what's up with his disrespectful question like I'm an NBA player to like what do you mean? Surreal to share the court with him and he kept getting asked at one point. He's like look is he's an incredible player. I don't know what else do you want me to say. What aren't you getting about that right like and it's just different because most young is when they come into that media environment in La. Which for sure is very Lebron centric at this point right They just kissed the ring. They're ready for they've been prepared for about a PR guys. They have like one good answer they give it and they get out of the way and Zion didn't really seem to have any interest in kissing the ring when it came to Lebron and on your flipside Lebron was pretty brief in his compliments of Zion. Saying his game is a perfect fit for the modern style. He did call him explosive for his size. Which is like you know. Pretty much the most generic compliment. You can give Zion at this point but one of the standout moments came when a guy asked Lebron. You know basically have you guys ever met like have you ever had a sit down and talk and Lebron's kind of notorious or famous for mentoring a lot of these young players and Lebron's answer and I quote. I've never met him. I've never met him before. Never never had a conversation with him. Never met him before Michael. So if we're counting that up it's one two three four five in eleven clip and I'm just curious like if someone asked me about you and that was my answer publicly like how would you feel. How would you take that? It's a little weird right. I'm not reaching here too far. You know and I just to like wildly speculate about what's going on here behind the scenes. I wonder and maybe this is already public information that I'm unaware of but I do wonder if clutch made a run at him and he gave them the cold shoulder is that do you think that is a potential cause for this. I mean it's like I didn't see any of these post game press conferences or scrums or anything like that but judging by what you just said like. It seemed pretty cold and shivering. So like you know. I think that that's potentially cause for it. I think you're going down the right angle. I remember at all star weekend not this year but last year. Lebron was asked about Zion because he was really gaining a lot of momentum at two and Lebron really poured on the praise pretty thick saying that. He's all about the right things. He keeps the main thing. The main thing is basketball intelligent shines through on the court. I do believe there was some level of courtship. They were supposed to go to a game at one point and maybe they did actually go to a game and sit courtside to watch him. Zion wound up not signing with clutch. And I think it's an unavoidable series of events like it has to be mentioned because it's very strange but it also reminds me of is kind of how Janas has always kept a healthy distance from Lebron to like Kevin Kevin Durant. Lebron have been in commercials together. Draymond and Lebron obviously collect family. Mafia has brought them closer together in a lot of NBA players have appeared on the shop. You know Lebron's TV show. Where I think some older heads from like the eighties and nineties would be like what is happening. You know you're not supposed to be congregating with your enemies. Let alone like you know getting your haircut while drinking wine on national television. That's just you know crossing the line from a competitive standpoint but Jaanus has always been kind of old school about like. He turned down the space jam invite. He's basically says he never hangs out with guys you know during the summer and there's always been that healthy distance and I feel like Zion's kind of headed down that path to and I love it. I think it just adds to that fearlessness. Part that I'm describing. It's like look if I'm coming in here as a phenomenon on my own making you know he's already worth nine figures. I'm sure at least You know he's standing on his own too he doesn't necessarily need to be in this You Know Lebron extended family like a lot of young guys are. I think it's actually a really smart marketing. Move from Zaylon to just kind of be his own guy. You don't want to be in that shadow you don't want to constantly be compared to Lebron and that's going to be unavoidable. Just because they're both such physical presences and frankly. I love it. I want the beef. All right round two needs to be this Cold War that you're describing this frigid You know tension. Maybe that's let's exploded a little bit. Let's see what happens. Let's get number one versus number eight first-round series. Let's get a bunch of questions for both guys about the other and eventually somebody will snap right. Don't you think yeah? I have a few things. Also that I've been percolating in my mind since you passed along the outline and suggesting that we might have a new rivalry on her hands. I mean the the post game on TV interview. Lebron had with Chris Haynes You know he called him special to be fair. He did use that word and he did site which you also referenced. How Zion's game was perfect for track? Meet style of today's game and I kind of read that honestly as a backhanded compliment. You are really good in transition You don't have a jumper. We'll see how you do in the playoffs in a setting where you need. Half court skills Anybody anybody can score twenty-five today's NBA. What about my MBA was Lebron? Was Channeling a little bit of his own grumpy. Michael Jordan here Michael. Potentially there was that play where he waved away. Javale McGee screen and wanted to take Si- on one on one and isolated from the top of the key and the ended up. I believe hitting a three over the top which I mean. Sometimes Lebron will do something like that. And that's not super unusual for that situation but he did make a show of waving away the screen in a setting where he would normally just take it and go downhill and probably throw the LOB to travel and get the easy to so. I thought that that was also really interesting. And then real quick like I do wonder if there's an ad factor here like gives. Zion Saves Basketball in New Orleans and does what Anthony Davis could accomplish in his seven or eight years or however long it was down there as a Pelican you know obviously like ownership and the front office were different. And it's two different situations but like if Zion does what eighty doesn't like do you think at any level. This is Lebron kind of protecting his team. Mates probably feels or could potentially feel a little perturbed by what Zionist doing with. Anthony Davis could not. I'm not sure I think there was an angle. I think it's more like if you're Zion. Coming into the league gets a little bit awkward to have Anthony. Davis like shadow cast over your organization. You're kind of in this limbo right and so I think as actually more like resentment from the New Orleans. Pelicans inside of how that whole played out where like Lebron's basically just like plugging a star out of their team and like kind of leaving them in the dust. I think that's more of it rather than Lebron playing big brother because I do think that you know Davis is established enough. Where and they're going to be making a deep playoff run here and they're going to be getting plenty of attention and accolades like I don't really think he needs to feel threatened by Zairean at this moment now. Long term big picture That's a different story. I think it's a fair point. I'm just not sure that that. That's motivating lebron. I think you Kinda nail on the head in terms of what the other issues could be. I think for sure the representations side of things with clutch. But I also think it's this idea of okay. They're comparing Zion to me. But if you're Lebron you had incredible technique and feel and command of the game. Playmaking ability vision the comparisons to Magic Johnson. All of that stuff.

By the eighth pick you kinda run out of dependable players. There's about eight people a year. Come into the league on average last thirty years to all stars a draft. That's it fourth player this year. It's a project and now they come into the league young but in basketball the culture is more about worshiping. It's more about gassing up the player. He's a star. He joins an a._a._u. Team he gets swag. He's got a shoe deal. Zions zions played nine minutes of summer league. He's got one hundred million dollar shoe deal so it is harder for a professional basketball player in america and all these pro athletes are like twenty four years old all right they enter the sport twenty-one n._b._a. They enter at nineteen so it's harder to ask professional basketball players to have self awareness and don't fall in love with yourself. It's harder basketball. Culture is a worship shoe idolization money earlier league league but once you've been in the league ten years. I'm going to hold you accountable now. You're a man now. You're thirty years old now. I'm gonna ask for carmelo anthony a little more self awareness and i'm especially going to ask for a little more self awareness from the bron james because i think he's smart. I think he's got smart handlers. I think he's been around the block and i didn't love this lebron. James put himself in a picture with the magic shack koby and kareem honored and grateful to be a part of greatness starting five or any franchise all time. I don't love this lebron. Not a laker great lebron's great. He's an all time great randy johnson's an all time great pitcher. What are the most intimidating i've ever seen. He joined the the yankees. He is not a yankee great randy. Johnson is an all time great. He didn't win enough in new york to be an all time yankee great. Nobody puts them in the top twenty yankees of all time. There's just too many good ones. The lakers had too many good players. Jerry west doesn't make that will make that elgin baylor who oh i didn't see play. He doesn't make it lebron. I like you. "He is Jay when Lee back and better than ever if you didn't see what he did last night in his return. You're not going to believe it is one minute away. Plus levian valid explains why he's in a New York state of mind. We'll explain why he made the right call in the end. And it was without question me move of the sports here. The man who made it explains how and why it got done and takes a little shot at the same time. You'll hear it all as we get up with you starting right now from our studios in New York. Thank you for starting your Friday with get off with Jalen and greedy. Frank Vogel is back and the dancer here. Talking football good guest list today. But you know, what we reminded of last night guys. Odell spectacular Levy on bells spectacular. The biggest star in sports right now is on Williams. Nobody's trading Zion. Jalen, Duke and Syracuse last night zion's back, and he's warring accustomed pair of kyri force. He's going to be wearing Nikes as long as you're going to play collegiate basketball. Do that's for sure it took him, two minutes and seven seconds to do this. This steal the flush as awesome back bay. And don't underestimate. The fact that's a lefty, right? They're taking off with his right hand. And it was just getting started Zion offense abort puts it back up. Wouldn't miss a shot at is going to be a feet as we go later Zion in the paint looking at work here wants to feet watch the feet big moment here, that's Frank. Our of Syracuse looks like he might stick the foot out there. Now watch the hand on Howard to me. This is important Howard almost immediately reaches out is that we saying hope I did not get that. We're gonna talk about that at great length while talking about the game Zion. That's the only shot he took all night that was outside the paint knocks down the three was up six later in the first loose ball. It's a scrum. It's a flush Zay on these dominating. Jalen, I was effort was a statistic because as what's we're wild buys that lettuces. This got plays really hard. Duke was up six at the hat and Zion hadn't missed a shot under fifteen to go. Second after Cletus only to train Jones throws it up Zion. Now ten for ten and it continues. Watch the lettuces. Amir jalen. Are you kidding? The soft touch with the left hand. That's the one thing about planes on your honorable to rebound. If a take ler physical guy like Zion on the weak side. But the soft touch bear with that play. Now, it's I on showing you the power. I mean, the whole repertoire is on display twelve for twelve. The lead was only six though Elijah. Tom's on the dick van on his young fella meets him at the rim. I mean Zion. Just putting on a show in his first game back now. Here we go. Again, I on inside with the rebound and Pooley's its way in Zion would finish thirteen thirteenth Twenty-nine points, fourteen rebounds. Oh, by the way. This guy was pretty good to r j Barrett. Throws it down to was pulling away late. They were up by eleven Barrett would finish with twenty three..

"Has been scored down goes Zion Carolina's going the other way, but pay no attention to that. What's really important happening on the other free throw line? Just thirty six seconds into the game. Everyone watching in disbelief watch the left shoe of Zion. Williamson just explode, but it's the right knee that he is holding and everyone could see the shoe the reaction shots remarkable from around the arena and you'll see them in a moment. Again. There's I on going down this President Obama, and you can clearly see the words his shoe broke. And so was it just the shoot. Was there a significant injury? Those were the questions of the moment as I left the floor. The conversation would come afterward. The new stable. We don't know how long he'll be out. It puts everyone in. Estate of trying to figure it out while while you're playing an outstanding team. That's not a good situation. I mean, I was hoping so can't really. Actually, I mean, I'm just gonna pray matured Hopi joke. I thought it was gonna turn shoes and get out there. But. See he wasn't going to come back game lose Tucker. I was wearing Nike shoes. As you saw. Here's a statement from Nike. We are obviously concerned what to wish Ziona speedy recovery. The quality and performance of our products are of utmost importance while this is an isolated occurrence. We are working to identify the issue. Also working literally all night has been our Maria Taylor who did the game from the sideline last night and hasn't had slept. She joins us bright and early this morning. What is the very latest as of this moment Maria on Zion? Well, as of right now, greenie Duke basketball, they do have a practice at one forty five this afternoon. So we still haven't received word on how severe the injury is designed. But I was speaking to one Duke official after the game. And he did say that doctors are very optimistic, and I was told to that afterwards when coach K was addressing the team. He was very positive in his feedback to the guys and after speaking to RJ Barrett and cameras they all said, it was difficult making adjustments on the fly, but they're praying for their brother for their teammate. And hoping that he can make it back as soon as possible. I heard you on sportscenter a little while ago. And I love you to share some of this with our audience about the feeling that Zion has for his teammates, and they in return for him because so much of the conversation this morning. We'll be even if he's healthy enough to continue playing should he and I know you've got a very strong feeling about that last night. Well, I do greenie because zions a guy that loves to compete, and he he loves this team. And that's one thing that RJ was telling me even after he put the phone down. And we're still talking about him. He said, that's that's my brother like we love being on the court together. And I think it's important to know because we think of these guys as five stars that are, you know, all about themselves all the time. But for everything that I've seen from Zion. He is also about this team in wanting to make sure that they're successful. And I could even tell I was kind of in the corner while he was trying to see if he could get back on the court, and he kept jogging back and forth and testing out that knee, and you could tell like he wanted to be out there. And right now, you know, his teammates all of the concern that was on their face in the locker room stuck with me. They all made sure that they talked to them before they did media after the game. I mean, they're concerned was really with him, and whether or not he would be able to be okay to to be healthy at some point this season, and obviously for his future. But these are guys that get along. And that's something that should not go on notice. While we tell the story and obviously talk about whether or not he will continue to play the rest of the season. Now. Again, show practice early in the afternoon, if as any information between now, and then we know you will bring it to us Maria will be with us all morning long. Meanwhile, let's show you what happened in the rest of the game, which almost felt like an afterthought..
