"Compared to say I'm a sponsor Brandon, which is actually Quite an expensive way getting a very superficial view of your products in an advocate as opposed to spending the same money get into by a book and relief. Some actually reads the book. A lot of people don't read what they buy, but if they do that getting much more powerful connection with your brand. So for me that Super Smart on the fact is nobody's doing it and you've got to Zig Zag guess as people say here now you gotta D- something different to stand out. So I really liked that a lot. Well, this is fantastic. Other technical details we want to talk about before we kind of conclude in wrap up the episode. Something very crude, but I think very important that many people get wrong is that people look at the the Economics Amazon says if it's like a steady state thing, you put your product up, you set your advertising budget and then that's it. The truth is taught by the last episode but I want to dig into this really make this very, very clear. So absolutely critical for success full stop assuming I say this again because it's so important you've chosen. The right. Kiewit market that is possible to rank. If you've done something stupid and try to give cap, then it ain't going to happen and put these to be good on price. Right? All that stuff needs because assuming will that, which is a big if you need to differentiate between the absolutely huge energy and money spend needed to launch and you put up from the cold stop somewhere meaningful on page one for organic ranking I'm not thinking about Beer Sa. By the way the general ranking took about by particular keyword and somewhere on page one in most markets, some markets pays to can be valuable, but it's you have to spend a be willing to budge a lot of money to put your product and I think for me the the most effective thing I've seen is not going to be great news to people. It's not clever put works consistently, which is put your price down low spend a lot of money. On. The right talked Adamson ads and then over time just let the space shuttle gets rid of the expensive fuel at hungry boosters. As soon as got out of the atmosphere, you bring that outspent down over to over maybe two three weeks and you gradually gradually put your price out on that. If you got everything else right then it's mostly organic and you just use the AMAS little bit apiece. So you have to differentiate so strongly between that sort of. Eight to fifteen percent advertisements sales ratio when you instead he stay in orbit as it were mostly kept Amazon organically, this colossal adspend needed to launch and you need to budget for that rule of thumb is maybe about sixty percent of the value of your inventory fuel. First set of inventory is quite possible that you may need to get through insert very, very competitive markets like. Whole. Containers worth of stuff just to lodge. My advice is doug go for those commodities because that's competitive but you have to budget for that and allow for the is no point buildings by shuttle with any way to get it in a little bit. I love that Metaphor Yeah. That's really really good. Windows strategically use ads in launch.

"Skittered all over the GLADE. They're dead wood limbs rasping on every branch and stone. Nancy was afraid but she felt strong in the woods and surprised herself by screaming at the dross in defiance. These horrible little creatures were made of dead plants and dark sorcery and she had spent her whole life learning about. She focused on the nearest dross pointing her hand and bearing down with her mind when she tilted her fingers down Whitish Green routes burst from the bottom of the tangled body and burrowed into the dirt below another started to move forward even as leave sprouted from its shoulders and swallowed it up the other dross paused but more were coming out of the brush along the edge of the glade and then suddenly they stopped. Nessie felt a moment of relief and then a figure rose up out of the dirt. It was the young monk the same one who had battled the massive rhino tour kerosene. He strode forward his muscled arms forming into large pillars of earth and rock. GotTa. Bring you in he said casually. Just come easy now druid magic is strong but I'm it or arms and I'm the best there is. The monk lashed his long earth arms against the ground and Nessie stumbled as an earthquake rocked the area, a narrow crack zig-zagged across the glade reaching out and pulling the land apart the shaking threw her off her feet and adult brain. But he managed to lash out with a handful of brambles or arms blocked them with a pillar of mud, and then he thrust his hands down at the Earth directly beside him with a deep roar like some titanic beast, a wall of earth ripped itself free of the ground it rose and A. Giant. Rippling swell and crashed down towards Nessie like a tidal wave. She knew a half dozen spells that would help but it felt like she was moving through tree sap. The monk was so fast and she was just too slow the wave loomed above her roaring and raining gravel and then crashed down over her nasty thought she'd be crushed but the monk had better control than that. Instead she was gently buried trapped in Earth from the neck down, she tried to cast a spell and the earth only rumbled tighter squeezing out her breath. All right. Then Robert Said are you done? The earth grumbled and roared and started to swallow her up, and then there was a crack and a blast of heat and suddenly nasty was free a strong hand hers and then she was pulled out of the rubble and back to her feet. Heads up mud man said harks turning back to the monk we're just getting started. She shrugged her shoulders and her arms burst into blue flames from the shoulder down searing away her sleeves the air around her rippled with heat and or arms took a step back harks leaned forward and a lance of fire shot from her fists looking at the air like a serpent's tons. The monk was forced to throw up a wall of Earth to block it before dancing gracefully back. harks snarled and another and another. He tried to think of a spell to help her friend, but then another figure burst into the glade, it was that wicked pirate a razor sharp throwing acts already flying from her hand it spun and over end a blur of black and silver. In the Moonlight Nancy watched helplessly as it flew towards Harks who was throwing fire at the monk completely blind to the deadly act swirling towards her back nasty shut her eyes and heard the dull thunk then harks cried out Lachlan. Nessie, he opened her eyes again the squire was there. He had his back to harks the throwing axe buried deep in the wood of his shield or arms cartwheeled over to phyllis the pirate already throwing another acts this time. As she let it fly Nessie managed to grow some roots and trip her up and throw went wild. Nice. One said harks throwing a handful of members into the air over Lachlan Shoulder. Right. But we need to retreat said Lachlan and Nessie agreed they could hold them off if they work together but they lose in the end. And then the dross came swarming back. Hark screamed and waved a loose arc afire some of the draw scorched and shriveled, but more kept coming Lachlan added them away with his shield but then the monk knocked him sprawling with a fist of earth and failures grabbed him by the hair.

Okay. So Now you you go to annum. You've you keep with a family tradition and what I want to know is whenever you come out of school now did you know immediately because obviously with with your dad you we had the groundwork as far as what of being a financial advisor was all about something in in to the listener I want you to know something for. No this Lauren that you aren't entrepreneur as a financial adviser. You come out in you. You eat what you kill on the you've got some infrastructure built around you a brand built around you but ultimately, you have to create your own destiny. So and it is not enough of what I've seen for sure is not enough to just that great example that you've seen your whole lot. You'd have to actually go execute on your own. So tell me about an also speak to like I mentioned yesterday when we talked about in preparation for this. I visit with and mentor a lot of undergrads that are in their junior senior year. I'm always trying to help them understand the value of networking hard work never never taking for granted a connection and don't just leverage it. All truly develop a relationship because you don't have mutual friends that you have in John Atkins. Is Sometimes I met. Over twenty years ago now, and John has been in some form of fashion. A part of my career that has been down. It's Zig Zag. It's made sense as made. No sense in John. Has Been a mentor in a voiceover of reason and wisdom to me all through the years. So kind of talk to me about how you set out with your own personal business plan or road mapping your career. And what because I'd say, not me look you're you know given where you are. You're significantly younger than I am but you're really right. You're still you're that good that good ramp up part of your career, which is so buydell what how did you start off managing at? What are you doing now and what are some things that you would tell those professionals just coming out of school to the point where you are. If I had to do all over again. Without question. Do this every single time? All Must Censo- my the start of my career was anything that perfect it was completely turbulent. I had frankly zero direction, right? As communication and English Major. I somebody told me growing up you know if you can communicate effectively, you'll have the keys to anything and everything in life regardless of your industry and I thought well I'm really passionate about communicating I love public speaking was writing I love reading. So I guess located school to get really good at that and figure out rest after that. So that was the impression I took but you know it's a blessing and a curse when you have horse working curriculum that are so broad and so I really graduated with zero direction for what I WANNA do in life and I went to the career fair but you know it really I, didn't have. I, just knew I wanted to make an impact and I wanted to use my. Aboard by not in health people but other than that zero clue. So I jumped into a career actually doing technology consulting firm in the wetlands Texas you know technology consulting what is. Popular career path to take right out of college whenever I graduated. So I'm Bob. Sounds like a decent idea for me so I'll do it. You know all my friends are doing it right?.

"In it the first piece of this is the CEO Mindset. One thing I wanNA make sure that everybody knows. Today is the time to take action. I was talking to a business professional on the east coast and they were complaining. They didn't have access to resources. They didn't have what they needed. They ran a shelter in place environment and they couldn't get you know some vendors to go out and I just looked at her and I said do it anyways and that was shocking in her world. This guy looked at me as if I was crazy but the reality is the CEO Mindset. Right now right here is take action. You need to look at your balance sheet. You need to look at your expenses. That are going out. You need to figure out exactly what you need to have in the bank and to last the next thirty and sixty days people who are do are taking action finding ways to serve people staying productive and staying positive. Those are the people that are going to win. And I don't need to tell. All of our clients are amazing at this stuff but think of the productivity as your civic duty. These are the things that we are required and getting your people on that same bus. That's what being a leader is about. So I WANNA make sure that we say that. Remember your clients your clients exchange cash four value. And even this moment there are opportunities for you to serve your clients. It could be different. Your value proposition might have to change. Bu- were still business owners and this is our opportunity to shine. "You see this video? So this video of zero zero landing holy Moly so it says a twitter video on twitter out the front window of presumably an airliner or some sort doesn't make three twenty. Thank you because I didn't read it. I just looked at the pretty pictures and I was actually somewhat riveted by these pictures. Because it's like a fifty five second video. The I forty five seconds of which just shows you clouds Alexandra visibility out the front window of the airliner and then like last ten or fifteen seconds. You suddenly see the runway and I mean they're they're basically on basically in the flare when you can. I see the runway out the out the front window and and to their credit they're totally on the centerline. Good job I guess but It's all automation I. It's it's all something because they I'm watching this thing. If I'm I'm the pilot in this airplane and I suppose if I was the pilot airplane I'd have a lot more experience than I do now but if I was in the pilot of the airplane the experience I have now. I'd be staring out the window looking for trees. Holy Crap this going to peer. I don't know what's going on here. runway okay. They really do this. Apparently you guys know. I mean I can't tell from here. What kind of a cert? Yeah that is it. It could well be kept three. I don't know okay. I've heard that term before. I don't exactly know what cat three zero zero cats to is. I think fifty feet hundred feet something like that cat. Three cat three or whatever it's called is zero zero Now is I understand it. all Airbuses at all Boeing's manufactured recently and I'm putting recently and finger quotes have the capability to do that presuming. Everything is is present and working There's I'm sure there's a minimum equipment list for for these operations but you also have to be trained crew has to be trained and has to be current in the operation reform. All this I hope yeah I hope so. There's probably some other restrictions about which I know nothing now I mean. Does this happen very often happens more often than you think. Well okay so let me let me be. I would notice this if I was on one of the airliners. I was traveling on. And as people know I've fair. More than average travel on a lot of airliners and when we're doing our our arrival through the clouds I'm looking out the window looking for the ground. All right I mean. Forget straight ahead. I'm just looking straight down. Which is a different kind of visibility? I admit but I'm looking to when we break out of the clouds and I'm not a real comfortable camper so to speak comfortable airline passenger Until I can see the ground out my out my window and I would it so the point of this story being I would have noticed if we landed on that kind of a circumstance because it would have freaked me out. I I'm trying to think and I am not as many as you jack but I you know I've been on a few airliners in the last couple of years I don't recall are certainly recall. Some some approaches in some classes. But I don't recall anything like this. Yeah that's I mean just to give give listeners. A context here when they can actually see the runway surface. Even even after they've touchdown and you can kind of sense from from the I actually didn't listen to the audio very carefully if there even is audio but you can kinda sense from the motion of the video. When the gear touches down you can kind of say okay touchdown so the rolling out there rolling out and they still can only see like a stripe and a half ahead on the runway and those strikes are standardized distances right. Yeah Okay so you can see a stripe and then half the gap between stripe but even if you can see the neck to head to the extreme. That's four hundred feet visibility. I mean it's like yeah I mean Holy. Moly the other thing too is. You're only looking at the windshield very very narrow view We don't know what they could see by looking out to decide okay true. It's possible down. Not that that matters because in my airplane for example it's one and I have to see something of the runway environment before I could land out of that approach With these kinds of of approaches the three as whatever You don't need to see that you only need The working equipment and the certifications cat cat to is again either fifty or one hundred feet and you still need. I think to see something other runway environment before you can land Yeah David what's your take on this whole thing? Well I been in a jump seat when we did a cat to level landing Years Ago I think it was a hundred feet was what we had. And it's for me. It was a new thing and it made me tense The flight crew and they were everyday business with them You know just another aisle less except they could go down to one hundred feet two hundred feet of which point they head to see the runway environment or go around and I've heard stories of people in Lighting G. A. Aircraft Part. Twenty-three stuff that we fly out on ninety one flight. That is not for hire who have a landed in well whether it was zero. Zero or fifty. Eight of a mile was the subject of very boisterous argument with the people on the ground. But I watched this guy come in when everybody else had gone missed and gone to a different airport i. I'm not sure that I'm not sure that you're GONNA get my Kahane's down that level may maybe with a little more experience with the L. P. V. And so we put a number of things together for him some of which was around cash flow deployment and how he can structure is cash flow specifically some of his income with substructure with some integrity with some disciplines that save back onto his balance sheet in a manner in which it's done systematically is done automatically and he knows that as it's going onto his balance sheet Prior to him hitting age fifty nine and a half he would be able to turn around and utilize some about money for things. That might be important for me to the future and so he wanted to talk yesterday about had a you allies some of that money that he had been waiting on to. Balance Sheet for eleven or twelve years. We spent some time around what he was looking to do. Just from an objective perspective pointed out to me that it was some property up in Vermont that he wanted to. He wanted to acquire any wanted to acquire it primarily for investment purposes. But he also thought his family would be able to get some use out of it so he came to me with the idea. He came to me with desire. He came to me with what he was looking to outlets. He was just asking me. How do we? How do we get the proper capital proper money from his balance sheet to use as the down payment so that it doesn't disrupt or interfere? Were encumber is planning so we look at all the resources available in. We wanted to make sure that he's not subject to Subject to fees and penalties. We also want to make sure it doesn't lean on his short term liquidity money. So that he's going to always have the proper liquidity after a property. You know when when looking at all his entire balance sheet in a very macro view he determined that he wanted to utilize the cash value that had built up inside of his life insurance and he had thought back to win. We at initially started working together. No doubt you reminded me that you know. I just told her that there was going to be cash. Value inside a life allows you to get used for whatever he wants without restrictions and so I remember talking about it but I don't really remember like mechanics of how to utilize it so we were able to put together a solution whereby he can come up with a proper money for the down payment and he can do it at an extremely low interest rate. I think it's going to be around. Five percents Armani Five percent and he's going to then use that as a down. Payment participates according to what he told me that he's going to generate income from the property in the income that he's expecting basically outlined today is great or than the interest rate on the loan so he was not only going to be able to service the loan interest. But he's also going to be able to replenish the loan and put it back towards his policy which he could then at some point in the future us again or whatever reason he may want to be able to use it for so and while all that is taking place is cash value or I should say the growth on the cash value is going to continue to grow unencumbered as if he never took that money out of the cash value so the dividends the guaranteed interest are gonna be credited on the gross. Were all amount not amount? After he the money out and then either put that money back in like you said to be able to reuse it again in the future or if he didn't but the initial back in service the interest portion of it the the outstanding balance at his life expectancy which for him was about age. Eighty nine or ninety. Would then be subtracted from the life insurance proceeds that are paid off the policy so it was a pretty cool way to have the option to put the money back and then be able to use it again for another purpose or not. And if he doesn't he's still going to be to know that well into the future is families not only gonNA receive the life. Insurance proceeds are going to have the capacity to eliminate that initial loan. And if he holds the property up in Vermont long enough they're still gonNA have the operating Vermont which adept way. We'd have little to no mortgage. You said something that I I love. Which is he had the option right. So that's what's so wonderful about the planning process. Right is if it's done with that forethought. Which is what you do right. The projection of potential opportunities down in the long run. It really gives people these wonderful options even if they either don't entirely remember them or I don't realize the impact that's exactly right. I mean just to be clear Matt. You you went out options. Are you mentioned that? I pointed out. Options is other options. Were like a home equity line of credit which you had a fair amount of equity in there. But he was concerned about that. Because the prevailing rate on that was looking like maybe higher than his utilization of the loan from the Alyce but additionally he didn't WanNa take equity out of the House. Because there's is commitment there's an actual commitment back requirement. I should say pay back where he had no future ability to Thurbers just the interest and then have a future promise in the form of a life insurance that had paid back he could've utilized some of his non retirement investment account but in over concern around. That is there's a. There's a fairly large game inside of the the investment account which we would trigger a capital gains tax liability in that would have been higher than prevailing interest rate borrowed money against his retirement account. But he didn't understand that if he borrowed the money in the knee. A move to a different company a balance on that borrow money would then be all picked up by him. As income for that. Given calendar year has been conducted on so many options that he could have looked at and utilized and just by virtue of having many different places to look at. It was able to come up. The most effective. Most efficient use of the money came up with the now payment and then ultimately have a strategy going forward so it was Kinda neat because it was eleven years after we had initially started working together. We did the estate planning with him. And his attorney property casualty insurance liquidity structured cashflow savings save money into investments retirement accounts and we had is is higher comprehensive overall balance in a very very extremely balanced position which gave him the ability to lean on a capital source. That was very very effective for what he was looking to accomplish when he came to me told me what he's looking to accomplish so it was a really neat experience. Yeah I and again whether it's a if it's a great balance sheet or a great plan having those in place. Do definitely give you options. We'll just now closing thoughts before we wrap up today's podcast. I think the future is the future and as much as we want to know. Exactly what's going to unfold for each of us? We don't out as much as we want to know. We don't know so. Having you know that option in those abilities to Zig Zag as life has planned and unplanned life events thrown your way is most credit also doubling Make strong suggestion that in all time during have many options to be able to utilize your money your allergy. But I sent you something I'm gonna check check your makeup photos if I can get that because I feel bad we're teasing all this obviously the real shots. They have to be edited. And I don't want to release unedited images that photographer saw check. And then I'll let you know two-thirds case there was little airbrushing going on just just a little you didn't have that much up. There wasn't much needed. You've lost your mind. There wasn't much needed. No. I wanted to do them yet. When I was still relatively young before. I got older I can look back. You know what I'm saying? I gotcha. Now, what's on the blog? Rachel besides my alligators chasing, a fish. Well, we have that. And we also have footage of a nanny Cam catching a ghost actually walking through a room. What the manual reaction where was that? This is a Michigan. Let's take a look show the Edmund this is a real life ghost on my blog walking through a room on a nanny Cam. It's like your boys golf course. That's it. The the baby lily was trying to sleep. She was awakened by something. You can see her follow the figure in the frame as it moves through the room. She's been experiencing odd things like she's had deep scratches to her face her parents were worried, so they set the anti cam- and caught this phantom. Get your reaction. It's a ghost. Also in Australia. I saw online this I- teenage boy was fishing on a stream in Australia. So he catches something and his dad yelling at him pull it up. Pull it up pull it up turns out to be an eighteen hundred pound alligator. Judo shoot 'em Elizabeth who begins chasing him away. And his dad gelling run run run. Daniel, no kidding. Ron Daniel run this huge out. And then the alligator catches the large fish. It was a good the boy had hooked the fish. And so he's eating the fish in front of the kid that caught the fish yet. Your reaction. He had some strong line there to pull that alligator in. Now, again, it was well, maybe the alligators just following the fish. But this was a large twenty pound fish, and that turned out to be an eighteen hundred pound alligator salty, he was angry and Australia. And he was chasing the boy, Ron Daniel run. Yeah. I'm gonna go man to man with this alligator the best part? Is you see the alligators swimming through the white? You see the ripples coming toward that? And the delayed-reaction slight delayed-reaction of what is that? And then run Brian men run, but you actually outrunning alligator. These two guys they did. But I'm told zigzag, but then I'm told because in my double wide near Cape coral. Yes, that is the instructions if the alligator comes out of the pond and starts running at you on the golf course zigzag, but I'm told the alligator will see going straight. If you keep zigzagging he come back to the same point. That'd be stupid got zig zig zig zag, you can't goes zigzag zigzag, otherwise Saint point. You know what I'm saying? "TBN radio six ten WTVN plenty going on for the weekend. I'll start with Dustin Johnson, congratulations on the on the World Matchplay and ran away and hid didn't he did not a great star? But last three rounds are pretty solid. That's twenty wins on the tour now for Dustin Johnson that puts him in some rarefied air. Pretty good player. Just to say, I will say this you guys that always looking to hit the ball farther think that the key to golf is driving the ball's long as you can he played alongside Rori McElroy yesterday Rory regularly drove him, and he got beat by five. So it's not always about Al far you hit. So with that said jackets, I mean, jackets is still buzz. I mean, the trade deadline's what three o'clock this afternoon direct. But there's been I mean, there's fun and intrigue and Jukes and zigzags and all kinds of stuff over the weekend. Zig zag is instead of all right? I'm gonna deal these two guys that have expiring contracts and that still could happen. Sure. But it's looking more and more like your mo- is to hell with that. We're going for it. And made acquisitions the two really good players from Ottawa. Now, you could be thinking that. All right. You add Shane yet? Ryan to single who are scores that gives you more. Scoring punch if you can find a suitor trade are Tammy because you've kind of made up for with those two guys and with whatever you could get in return for him. But he said yesterday on the conference call that no one is. I'm paraphrasing. But it sounds like no one's come close to what he's looking for. Right. He wants he doesn't want. Just hey, we'll give you a two first round draft picks. Now, he needs he wants a current asset. That's going to help the team and futures. So he's asking for a lot not worth a lot. Here's the brilliance, by the way. What? Is if you are a team who needs scoring punch. He's just took two of the most available guys off of the markets new. So what's that gonna do to his guy? That's on the market. It's going to drive the price up. So in a way, he's like helping himself not only by acquiring guys on the ice that is going to presumably helped blue jackets, but if somebody's really in dole for mode, maybe they offer way more than what they would have you for Pinera because there's no one else out there. Hey. Market and you own one. And then you go by two other ones who all the car. Exactly. So I get it doesn't feel forced to trade him a lot of people feel like I mean, I'll say it's a risky move, man. If he doesn't trade these guys and they go out in the first round or don't I mean or don't make the playoffs. Holy cow. Does he have egg on his face? But I having said that I really appreciate that mentality. Of full steam ahead to hell with it. Let's go who's been saying keep your aces in your hand for a couple of weeks. Now, you have I'm not saying I study at the foot of the cross of your mcalinden. But but you like that style light we're going for. Yeah. Let's them next most important game. It's the next one here playing. Yeah. You got a better chance of winning with Bob and Pinera on your team. Yes. And you know, Matthew Shane now. And Ryan, Zinke good. Yes. All good. So it's really it's going to be fascinating. We'll think about what that means. The guys at skate think about what that means to the coaching staff is the front office is in your corner and giving you everything you need to win. Now. Go in everything we can do to facilitate you guys being successful. Go get it. That's what I mean. Escape for that team. It's really risky, and we will see whether it's the smart strategy will see now I mean that's gonna play out over the next months years, but for the here, and now it's a hell of a message. He's sending you know what I mean? It's you have to appreciate it that I'm do. Here's my chips going forward. Let's see if I have three aces or if I'm buffet, you know, we'll see well been looking pretty good lately. The game Saturday. I said, can you trade a guy who said back to back shutouts and do straight nights? I mean, of course, you can. But that would be really extraordinarily you'd think somebody would want him at that point again driving the price up. No better time to trade him, I suppose because well, and maybe that's a concerted effort on Bob's part to stand on my head for a couple of games. Steve I can get out of here because as I don't wanna be here anymore. I don't know. I don't know. But it's it's fascinating to watch. And it's really fun. And that's what it's about. It's really funny to the blue jackets posted a little video to Shane who's on all star great player if you don't follow hockey. This is a huge gap for the jackets and they acquired him from Ottawa on Friday afternoon. He played Friday night for the jackets against Ottawa, which was weird for them. But then traveled here they played Saturday. So yesterday was an off day and he flew back to Ottawa to pick up his wife and his son and his dog, and there's a picture of him in the plane that he took a little video. Here's my wife say I on ears my son. Here's my dog in the oh, look who I have in the back, and it's Ryan single who also was on one in separate trade. They got on Saturday night after the game. Hey, I picked him up to what he's in the back legs smile and so bring all those assets from Ottawa Columbus. And and it's nice. That you did that in the appropriate order. He brought his wife. And his dog and then. I you didn't get it. Exactly. Right. But you did pretty good on exactly done while the clock is still ticking towards that deadline so much focus on why the jackets would be dealing Panara number Broschi GM yarmulke kaline and says only if the deal makes sense for the now and in the future he made headlines going for by adding that to Shane and Ryan Zingel separate trades with Ottawa says this is about going after a cop. Saying.

"And that's what led them to blow out Jarl's Oakley. Oh, boy, I'm telling you that shoe was compromised. Stan I am not a conspiracy theorist. So I'm going to say that it what will clearly the shoe was compromised, but not necessarily by someone else. There was some defect in it somewhere. And it ended up costing the kid, unfortunately. But I don't think there's anything more to it than that. I'm saying it's a mob. Rashad I think there is footage of a mod cutting a little hole in the sneaker. We're all saying the same thing these standards to God's. No, I hopefully, we were saying the same thing. Stugatz. Why Scottie Pippen? I mean, just you know, guys who would do anything for. I'm jay. Jordan can't do it himself. He's got to get someone to do is dirty work for him. So it had to be Oakley or pipping or a guy. Like, I'm Oliver shot that you think Scottie Pippen would do anything for Jordan. That's the impression that you get like he doesn't say Jordan made him one of the top fifty players of all time. Scotty sees it that way, but. We should. It's something that I thoroughly enjoy because when I got started, you know, Gary was there for me. And that was about it. So I'm always appreciative and thank him kindly for that for that. And it's a it's something that I like to get back because I know how it feels to reach out, and it's tough, you know, wanting to make money in the markets wind to understand how. Zig zag and just make sense of it all so I'm more than happy to engage with anybody that would like to engage. With respect to the topic. That I want to talk about today. So we spoke briefly during the show about the three important questions. I asked myself where am I going to enter where am I going to exit and how much risk when I'm wrong. Part of this business is overcoming and re in changing your association with money roll emotionally attached to money therefore making rational objective decisions is extremely difficult for the untrained eye. Meaning you make a million dollars or you lose a million dollars. If you make a million dollars, you happy you said, we all know, what can I say happy? If you lose a million dollars, you happy you said clearly might be angry, you might have other emotions. But but if you notice happy sad angry, these are all emotions. Money's an object. Do you have any emotional attachment to the hangar in your closet? Most likely the is no or the doormat in front of the door the inches. No. Why hang on your closet has no motion value t you or sentimental value. Right. It's just a hanger money is a similar situation. Now, you need money to do things to live and spend an Eaton have, shelter, etc. Etc. So people from a very young age have an emotional attachment to the money now, I know I'm running out of time here. So I'm gonna keep it real short. And just try to help you understand the big picture. It's very important to separate the emotions from the decision making process. I'm not saying to be unemotional when you lose money you make money but try to make decisions objectively. If you write them down you'd about some off with somebody else. However, you whatever exercises you look at it. When markets are closed make decisions over the weekend, right nights. And then implement them during the day. However, you whatever it is that you.

Well as akiem Hicks told our lower Oatman of the pre-game show. He was looking for a sack today. Not so sure that's going to happen because well those quarterbacks are well protected. Let's check the game. They weather report brought to you by Bosch icon windshield, wipers, featuring clear, max three sixty five rubber technology to calm in the storm on game day or any day fifty five degrees. The feels like is also fifty five degrees. And it's going to rain throughout the day today. In fact, it's a one hundred percent chance of rain until one AM. The Pro Bowl will not be going on at one AM. So it's gonna rain throughout the course of the remainder of this afternoon here in Orlando. Sure, it's gonna rain. No, it's not going to rain, Kevin. And it is raining currently and is going to continue to rain time for the start of the game. Brought to you by peleton the game changing indoor cycling bike any weather's perfect for peleton. No matter how rough that gets this winter. There's always a ride waiting for you at home. The AFC is going to start with the football. I from the twenty five yard line and quarterback Patrick Mahomes one week removed from the disappointment of the chiefs losing in the AFC championship game at Arrowhead stadium. Tony, and I were there with one for that one. Patrick Mahomes is here is ready to play. He's got Keenan Allen and Jarvis Landry to his left. He's got tyreek hill to his. Right. You talking about that AFC championship game and thinking back after we call it was one of my favorite games of the year to call. But the discrepancy in place. The patriots have almost ninety four thirty seven points. Patrick Mahomes in this offense for the chiefs. Did it in forty seven ninety four for the patriots forty seven offensive plays. That's thirty one points. This kid. Explosive and you get tired kill Travis Kelsey in the rest of that. She's offense, and they're going to be a lot of fun to watch next. This chiefs team might be the favorite in the AFC for a long time moving from left to right. The shotgun. Snap to Mahomes. He'll throw on first down pressure comes throws over the middle. And he finds James Connor the running back for the Pittsburgh Steelers who takes it down to the forty three yard line. Bobby Wagner on the tackle. After an eighteen yard gain. And a first down. One thing that you know in the in the Pro Bowl Kevin is especially early there. The feeling out period. Kind of what the pace is going to be. It's changed every year. We saw tackle. That's something. We don't see that the rushing the passer, you know, sometimes it'd be more aggressive than others that time. Patch homes at all day. Mahomes of the gun. He's got Connor to his left on first down at the forty three yard line. He'll flip it to the right side on the past deflected and incomplete tipped by outcome Jenkins. The eagles strong safety out there to get a hand on that one in coverage in its second down and ten at the forty three yard line. Interesting thing with patch homes. He's down to stay in the pocket because there's no pass rush. These guys. When did we see him this year? Make some of the most amazing places running around by the off schedule play where he's throwing across his body. He'll be in the bucket. Most of the day because there's not much of a pass rush from this defensive front now a good chunk of his plays came on the run that was another big discrepancy in that AFC championship game last week between he and Tom Brady on second down. I'll play action quick toss. The Keenan Allen on the left side line at midfield ease into the NFC territory and Alan goes down with some contact from Darius slay at the forty two yard line of the NFC fifteen yard pickup and a first down to the AFC Keenan Allen. Vigo guy not probably is the go-to guy fulfilled rivers and chargers team under Anthony land that after the four start last year was one of the best teams record wise in the AFC great year this year couldn't get past the patriots to boy every year. They just find a way to get to the Super Bowl, and they hit that patriot wall in Foxborough on first down Mahomes with time again, I'll throw it short. Those tyreek hill I catch between the chiefs at the forty yard line hills. Zig zag into the thirty five and goes down at the thirty.

"And that is it. It's helped me understand God's love for people in the importance of sharing the gospel of Jesus to lead other sedation with my daughter. She never got to experience the love in my heart that I had for her and the pain of that is the worst feeling of ever had goodness that's hard to read. Gosh. I know God's showed me he feels the same way when any of his children live alive without ever knowing his love. Wow. Thank you Evan. If you can redeem that I think most of us can redeem the things that have happened in our lives. Yeah. Your ability to feel an impetus with people I see that in my own wife who has had a good amount of hardship in her life that I don't understand. I don't understand that level of compassion. And I don't say that to berate myself. I have other things other skills and abilities. But that's one that I don't have because I have not experienced that. And I think that's again, what what we're talking about with these crucibles that you've experienced that you conserve somebody in a way that I am absolutely unequipped to do that if you'll step up and do it which you have Evan met. Thank you for sharing house. I guess I am so sorry. Oh, gosh myself. I just hurts my heart to hear that. But it sound. I I love though, that he's he's willing to see some positive out of it. You know? And and like, you just said, I I'm the same way. I mean, I've had loss in my life, but not to that degree. So I'm you know, may not be the like if somebody were to have a tragic loss in their life. I mean, he's able to understand mmediately and know how to serve and health and be there. So not that you want to get a gift in that way by having to go through all that. But you know, if you can look at it as that it is a gift in it's such a you're now able to be such a huge blessing to somebody else, despite what you've gone in what a story, and what a great great what a. An acute thing to ask why you know for him to ask why has that happened? But still take that way, you're on that kind of on a similar note terra nuts, and she says because I've experienced endured abuse manipulation heartache loss and grief. I am now able to enjoy the moment love deeper have greater empathy and have the ability and experience to lead encourage and motivate and mentors mentor others. That's great. But my first thought when I read that and even thinking about Evan what he just share before is why why did that what's that difference? You know, that that what what tipped over the edge for Evan fort for tar for so many people to have these bad things happen and not then again, I just think of that root of bitterness not let that grow and exist and be the story of their lives where what happened that caused them to come over and go now, I have a freedom and ability in essence, and that's the help part. That's the. At people need because we all go through some sort of a tragedy. Right. And there's different levels of an I, you know, he's clearly on it. He's gone through more than we can even imagine. But there's like you said what changed at what made it from not being in despair and having no hope to finally like, you know, accepting things. "He was only there for like a year or so but Bill check on told respects Kingsbury, and he's one of the guys that they would consider if Josh mcdaniels actually leaves this year and Kingsbury. Is quite possibly going to quit at USC is a small buyout. He would have to pay relative to the buyout out that he's getting from Texas Tech and just move on and take his chances and go interview with the jets for the head coaching job with the cardinals for the head coaching job. Go be someone's offensive for there's gonna be such a run on offensive talent when they start hiring coach issue can be plenty of spots for Kingsbury at a minimum as an offensive coordinator. How does he go from not being good enough to coach offense in the big twelve to being an NFL head coach? Well, I think what happened was the NFL teams have begun to embrace completely college offenses. So this is the guy that that that built Patrick Mahomes. This is the guy that that that designed that offense, and you're going to have more and more teams with that kind of offense approach and everyone wants to find the next Sean McVeigh the next met Nagy the next Doug Peterson. And you know, when you look at Nagy and Peterson's career arc. It's not like they coached for a long time. But what's going to happen is going to? A lot of unqualified guys who get hired and I'm not saying quick Kingsbury on qualified. But when you're when you're desperate to find offensive coaches. Now, look that may swing back the other way with the playoffs being more defensive struggles. We're getting away from fifty four fifty one or sixteen fifteen but I still think that that it's it's it's a reality that benefits offense coaches where there's going to be such a demand. Even if you weren't good enough to coach Texas Tech, maybe good enough to be head coach New York Jets. Zig zag. Now's the time where you bring in rob Ryan, and you go. Hey, I'm like I'm going full defense. I'm going unkempt instead of a guy with a good haircut and an playbook is thick as the bible. Or Rex, you know, it's funny. Rex was reportedly making calls last week telling guys to get ready, and I don't know what they're getting ready for because he hasn't gotten a call this a bunch of former head coaches that would love to get back in it can't get a phone call you guys know who would be at the top of your list. Yeah. All right. My last question Seekie question put him where we don't mention his name anymore. No. Is he like we don't want jinxing? Okay. I was about to mention it literally might Kikwit put promo code take ten dollars off. See question will get a job. No why. I thought he would I thought I he's so connected at the league office. I thought there would be one owner that would decide to give him another shot and who knows crazier things have happened. And some of these owners make decisions we don't quite understand. But his name has not come up at all anybody is pursuing him. It it it. It is either being done very secretly. Or an owner is gonna get to a spot where he says, you know, what I don't like any of these auctions. Let's go get you Fisher. That's the only way it's going to happen this year. Okay. Someone's going to do that someone's gonna do that, Mike? Thank you as always. And I appreciate it. And whatever man says football, stay big cat. Yeah. I mean, that's the thing is other sports going on just throw yourself into the other sports. You know, it'll be it'll be a great. Wisconsin right northwestern? No, no cog. Oh and not north western what's, geez. You follow hockey are U S. Yes. But I I mean, they stink to whatever. It's fun. It's fun. It's fine. Apple stupid. All right. See my a real quick, Mike. I got you on the phone right now. This source just came through for me right now. Can I report this live, and and you can confirm whether or not this has legs. I can only imagine. Okay. I'm told that the that the buccaneers have hired Bruce Arians head coach and Todd Bowles as defense coordinator to be not surprising. Okay. Would not surprise me at all. It went to me at all..

Podcasting Lessons From FOX News

"Saw a tweet by Donald Trump. So it could be total bullshit is says Fox News top CNN and immense NBC combined in October cable news ratings then he says that's because they treat me fairly. That's definitely bullsh-. Let's soon that what he says about their ratings is true, though, FOX is doing better than MSNBC and CNN combined. That's the case there's a big lesson here for your podcast here is why that would happen one old people and less educated. People are more likely to watch TV old people unless educated people are more likely to be conservative. If a certain group of people's more likely to watch TV and certain group of people is more likely to be conservative a conservative network on TV would you better than a liberal network? Now, this isn't to say that younger more educated people. In other words, liberal people aren't watching new. They are. But they're more likely to get their news from somewhere other than cable television. How many young people do you know that our court cutters? People who don't have cable television at all. Well, those people aren't able to watch Fox News CNN MSNBC, if the old people that are left the old people, they're the ones who are more conservative. Here's another reason why this might be true. There's only one conservative cable, news outlet, FOX, the liberal and centrist audience that's being split between different networks. CNN MSNBC. Maybe aljazeera. There are ton of other less conservative networks that are going to split that audience 'nother thing this is maybe the biggest when it comes to your podcast. This is the big lesson here that I want you to take away FOX is not news. They call it, Fox News. But it is actually an entertainment network. It is personality driven entertainment personality matters. When people listen to your podcast, they are not listening solely for the content. They're listening for you. You can get the basic content anywhere. But where can you get the personality? You were the only one that has the personality that you bring to the table as far as content. You could do the exact same episode is me or anybody else, but you could dominate it based on your personality. If you've got a personality that your audience is interested in that's the big lesson. You can get the basic content anywhere where else can you get the personality nowhere? You're the only one who can bring that such yourself up to be the only choice people have when it comes to your viewpoint and also your brand of content. They zig zag they're conservative. You're more conservative. They're liberal. You're more liberal their religious, your nonreligious their religious. You're more religious bring a point of view bring a personality. You're not going to please everyone. So concentrate on really pleasing, the people that are into you. Then he's bringing up more personality that is the secret sauce. It's not content subcontinent. King. Well, that's a content is Queen personality is king who's going to deliver the content. Podcasters? Don't wanna nameless faceless voice. They want you your personality as wine a lot of the episodes from Bill to be podcast. You're gonna hear me tell him personal stories. I want you to get connected to me. Lot of you've podcast in device. Nobody can deliver in the way that I do same for you a lot of people share in that advice that you've got nobody can deliver it in the way that you
