Discussion Simone Biles Mental Health Challenges After Winning Bronze on Beam

"So i just wanna start with a very basic question to both of you. Simone biles yes has won the bronze-medal in the balance beam which is actually an even greater triumph for her. Now considering how the past week had gone for her but professor carter friend zeke. When biles. I made that announcement of withdrawing from the team competition. I just was wondering what was your first reaction. How did you feel about that. What did you think was going on. My initial reaction was of concern. And while i don't know byles you know hearing that For any athlete they withdrew Were removed from lineup. Or remove themselves made me think that she had perhaps encourage some sort of physical injury in the qualifying rounds or because of the pandemic perhaps contracted cobra as we've seen many of some of our athletes not only from the us but other countries succumb to that Then when she continued to share that she would not be competing in those events she qualified for and that it was not due to anything. Physical in real concern began to overcome me and initial thoughts of mental health issues to pass sixteen months with those respective sort of restrictive parameters The combination of postponement of the olympic games wondering what it must mean to be in the spotlight to as i reviewed all her sponsorship ads but as well reflecting on what she may be navigating in the aftermath of the sexual abuse case that she was part of so things became of greater concern and really just just hoping and wishing her well through that process over the next few days

MPs claim it could be discriminatory to have Covid vaccine passports

"The concerns about vaccine passports tend to fall into two camps equity politics vaccine distribution in the. Us is already unequal. Even though racial data on covid vaccine is incomplete. Cdc numbers show that nearly two-thirds of people who received at least one dose or white. That could mean a disproportionate number of people of color being excluded from places that require a vaccine passport beyond race. There are other questions about. How axiom passports might discriminate unequal access to technology for example and there are other concerns for instance if you privilege people who are vaccinated. Are you discriminating against people who might have religious objections to get the vaccine are you. Are you discriminating against people who might have some medical condition. That makes them very nervous about getting the vaccine. So this this has emerged as a real threat and problem not just among republicans. This is a widespread bioethical concern. I did talk to zeke. Emmanuel the former advisor to the biden cova response. He worked in the obama white house a bioethicist and he said he thinks these passports coming. No matter what and that the do have value but all the bioethicists all the officials. I talked to say it's important to tread lightly here. And that's another argument not to mandate anything. Because you're further potentially widening those equity gaps that you alluded to

"Zeke emanuel is the crazy brother of crazy rem. He is a doctor. You may recall. He wrote off a citizen's if he were here i would ask him if he had a problem with the policies that were put in place by cuomo and whitmer and pritzker and rudolf and all the rest of by putting covert positive patients in nursing homes. Since he had very inhumane take on senior citizens not that long ago. I wonder how old he is now mr producer because if he reaches a certain age by his own standards a drag on society but he was on the morning schmo show with willie geist which comes from jupiter island or jupiter florida which perfectly fine. Just don't be liars about it but they can't help it. So zeke manuals on there on the morning schmo show and this is how it went cut to go. Where are you on schools right now. I mean the story of new york and other places is that the ones that have been open since the fall or have phased in their opening have been incredibly healthy places. There has been incredibly low. Transmission rates isn't that sort of a case. Study that school opening has been safe and that it should happen across the country. I absolutely agree with you. Willie and i have been on this actually for months and months and months you can open school safely. The data are pretty overwhelming I have argued that we should put teachers at the top that they're essential workers That you can have kids wear masks. It's a controlled environment. You can space them off. You can have open windows and keep the ventilation going I advise a number of schools to do this. And it's been very very successful. So the data. The scientific data says open the schools. You have florida and some other states that have opened the schools. So you have real life data and yet fao. "Lampard site as chelsea the stevie nicks and don hutchinson here to discuss that decision. St let's start simply showy. Was it fair. i don't think he's fear. No the problem is that we're talking about a club that's not normal. We're talking about club that regardless of the name of the manager regardless of the cv yelich or experience or whatever it may be when you lose so many games You don't get a chance to to get back your way. You may have been before you lose games. You lose your job. That's kind of their immortal. And so frank just falls into the into the spot where others before him. Have you lose goodbye. don't they. Size it in the statement. They weren't saying any particular progress under lampard fair. I think that's fair. I do think though he should not have been more time. Try and get his way out about for me to goodful missile and such distances all full still in the last sixteen. The jump zeke's but there's a couple of performances at the end of last season stall will season not worried that three down against west brom come back to three three sat on in game. Gema chelsea will unbelievable for forty five minutes and fought in southampton that drew dot three three will hang towards the end of the game so this being being games where he got himself into goodful. There's one periods on november december. Where the at the most clean sheets in the league and there was sitting On december the fifth on never had them is titled favorites. I didn't get carried away. And nor did frank on each Will not ready for title challenge. Anatomy bottle molested performance. Really worried may done. thousand tuna. Lost lostock could easily have been five six. But i still think you know if you'll wrote abramovich annual no the board of directors at chelsea. You must understand that. Frank lampard chelsea is going to have a difficult time. It's just not gonna come into legend and tried to call plate while cloth Lots in in a pet quality ola and marino. It's going to be difficult for him so when you are in difficult times. I would've thought. I would shut him a little bit loyalty and more only little bit patients and if it didn't work out in a month salmon chelsea was still in his position then tell them to stop in time and just seems a little bit off. What was it. What was the last straw. Well not not the luton game because they wanted strange when you suck someone to win we even. If it's in the autumn of to hold up in the league for example. I think he's an accumulation of things like the boys of said. The results haven't been good enough. He's the manager of the abramovich era with the lowest point tally per game again which is just not good enough. It's not good enough the performances that they've put the way they played no identity and we at the end of january. Now no patterns of plano star. There's nothing you can see really in the game. They played too many defeats sunday in the last six weeks and i think he also pays the difficult relationship behind with marina. Grownups difficult relationship that he had some of the dressing room. Certainly the fight. That tim of hobbies have failed so far to establish themselves in. That team is also on him. He can argue that he wanted can ride. I didn't think the team was balanced. He needed a bit more time. Whatever excuses he can come up with. I think overall is just not good enough and and we've seen in the past sake managers who've won great things like marino konchalovsky and keeping some like sorry like to finish the season and finished with with with a trophy as well for he must have. It was the right time to change and to bring much to what you don. I'm not hearing of drought. Jody morris a texas I wouldn't i wouldn't bombard the Text because a frat will be hutton. And so so. We'll jody morris But front knows. I think he's he said dot stipends not nice disappointed in raleigh saw. I'm not just go back to the bigger picture dot unless i'm naive. When you see other gonna solve show on your say mccullough frontline pod come into the league expected to win the premier league. Expect to get close to wouldn't jump. His legs latte is so difficult and you say we'll all these. I mean. this guy was going to be cycling. They when they failed to qualify for the last sixteen of the jump zig and went out ridiculously early on bodily as well or not. it was under pressure. Walk two months ago. An authentic turn things around episodes slowly. All he's not sitting tilt the league's just think a little bit of patients unfortunately talked about chelsea and night on any monitor patients when they win the league a win the very biggest these japanese. They still pull the trigger. Do you think he's biggest. Mistake has been the when you go and spend so much money on attacking players and you come to the halfway stage of the season. Nobody knows what your front four is going to be. Then i think. I if i'm looking at that from their point of view swirl ho ho long do we give this guy t saw how we're going to go forward because right now you've probably got what seven or eight players vying for four squats and we have had every single combination and we still don't know come come saturday afternoon. Who's going to. Who's going to step forward and plan that front force. Or i would suggest that's been his biggest mistake.

Zcoin: Looking After The Community With Reuben Yap

"Let's start off with you. Know for viewers. What exactly is a z coin. There's a lot of privacy. Focused crypto currencies out there. Different types of token people are sometimes confused between the differences. So you know how long has z coin been out and what exactly is some of the benefits you can do it. Right so Zeke hainan Main in two thousand sixteen. I think probably in the work of oil probably sought bali one and a half years before that. can be launching the twentieth of september. Two thousand sixteen so we can just post office having Just like i mean upper months ago. So that's really exciting and what we do in z. Coin that we really really belief in the importance of a ripple that is uncensored book and private because we feel that if you want to have an ought to ought to the financial system in asked to be both Private and or it to be uncensored in unseasonable privacy's also asked important As well especially with bitcoin now you know every single from sexton is is kind of recalled. The payments lee on the blockchain barry single movement of a coin is traceable promise in inception and i think you know what we do to provide privacy's we allow people to actually destroy the coins and at any time in the future to regain them for brand new ones with no previous transcendent history. It's almost wiping all the transaction history and getting fresh virgin coins and that's the crux of technology. And we've used this being the all. This technology is kind of homegrown is not a faulk of something else and we do have independent research and we probably can talk a bit more about that later. Yeah yeah that's really really interesting to hear. I think that's one of the things that that is unique. You know i've i've read a lot about even for the employees in internal stakeholders developers. Will you all offer a burning redeem different privacy models at y'all have switched recently and You know one thing that maybe you could talk about. Is i heard that you all kind of bitch. The founders reward and you increase development for funding post having or at least. That's what your plans are. So why did you take this approach. As opposed to other protocols out there that still do keep that founder reward into the protocol. It seems that you all are working hard to support the community. Keep them happy. I think he's a balanced right. I mean on the one hand you know people unfortunately see founder words and stuff like that. It's a formal and reaching and reaching the faltas or the initial investors. And they don't see as like a peel community project by the same time. I mean realistically except for very few handful of of really really projecting even those suffering for funding You expect of like development improvements on almost like a donation basis is also very difficult. I mean you know you take a look at a bitcoin. Right it's funded by you. Know a lot of funds but it d- may be pursuing their own interests. Even someone like lou dash junior. He couldn't get funding. He's been like a call developer for so long and he he's like i need the final edition of what because the on enough. I mean bitcoin is like the biggest cryptocurrency and dean of having problems. Funding green itself has a green another privacy. Coined the ailsa struggling You know they have the handful of programmers and very reliant on on donations that may or may not continue coming along. And that's a really bad way to attract allen who want job stability and things like that right. I mean that's something to be expected of. You wanna try thailand. You have to be able to pay them

Cowboys vs. Eagles score: Michael Gallup leads aerial assault against Philadelphia, keeps Dallas alive in NFC East

"Dallas cowboys ended the philadelphia eagles season on sunday afternoon at. At and t. stadium. That's right the eagles now with only four wins with only one game left even though the cowboys will need some help from them. The philadelphia eagles are officially done. And we'll have to look forward to two thousand and twenty one when their quarterback will be jalen hurts full-time or carson wentz. Who knows there's a lot to get into as it as it relates to this game again so many things happen. Let's start the first highlight to show you here. If you're watching on youtube sean. Jackson did indeed have an eighty one yard touchdown. Jalen hurts finds him about six minutes left in the first quarter. Just absolutely rose. We had absolutely chance. This is the type of thing that we've grown accustomed to seeing. Unfortunately from sean jackson he has gotten the better end of the cowboys for a long time over a decade. Schon jackson has been shown the cowboys now with multiple quarterbacks in multiple home stadiums schon jackson has had success. I'll give it to him that. At least this time. He remembered to score the touchdown and not fumbled the ball right in front of the goal line. Let's keep on. Let's get to some more happy. Highlights and michael gallup who was in contention for our star of the game. His first touchdown was a beauty as the second quarter. Began getting the cowboys. Back in the mix narrowing the margin. Fourteen to ten michael gallup like i said look at that elite camera work from fox. We'll talk about that in a second. Michael gallup quickly got to work. He had a big gain a little bit after a few minutes later. Look at this starting his own thirty five running down the sideline a bunch of eagles chasing him. Michael gallup doing all the work doing all the work doing all the work and then speaking of work you know the cowboys as we all know they like to feed ezekiel elliott. This was later on that possession the cowboys trailing fourteen. Ten and ezekiel elliott. There's no video of this so apologies. If you're watching on youtube you can see our freeze frame image. A looked like ezekiel elliott. Who had a really great game really looked like he scored on. This place is a bad angles from the tv copy but to me to my naked eye it looks like zeke. Elliott is over the line. I think that that's a touchdown. Zeke mike mccarthy did not challenge this. The cowboys wound up settling for fuel narrowing the margin fourteen to thirteen. They would ultimately start their climb back and they're ferocious. Climb back in fact. Let's get to that. Climb another michael gallup touched down here at the end of the first half andy dalton not even messing around just looking right for him and michael gallup again just a superstar a true wide receiver. One cowbys have three of them. Dalton schultz you can see very happy for his teammate. This was a phenomenal performance by michael gap

'There's No Quick Fix For COVID-19,' Cautions Pennsylvania Secretary Of Health

"Going to talk more now about how states are preparing to distribute those vaccines as they become available, and to do that, we're joined by Dr Rachel Levine. She is the Pennsylvania health secretary and also president of the Association of State Health Officials. Dr Levine welcome 12 Things considered. Thank you very much. I'm very pleased to be here. Will you walk us through the logistics for when Pennsylvania first receives its initial shipments of vaccines? I mean, where does it go? How do you keep it cold? What do you actually have to do? Sure. So we're all waiting the meeting of the FDA on December 10th. And then they will consider all of the data of submitted by the Fizer Corporation for the first vaccine. When they issue their emergency use authorization or you away, then operation Warp speed will distribute the vaccine. To hospitals in Pennsylvania and throughout the nation just to get specific is the federal government or or fives or corporation, sending it to the state of Pennsylvania to distribute it to hospitals. I I asked, because this vaccine has to be kept incredibly cold. It's not just like you can send a bottle of aspirin, right? So you are correct. This is an ultra cold chain vaccine that has to be kept at minus 80 C or or Celsius. So it will be operation works speed that will be sending it to the hospitals that we designate now will depend, of course about how much we're going to get, and it comes in trays of 975 bottles. So these have to be hospitals that can Deal with the cold chain and can deal with that amount of vaccine to then administer. Now, the CDC recommends that health care workers and residents of long term care facilities should get first access to these vaccines. That's a large number of people have you decided whether you're going to start With older healthcare workers or people with underlying conditions are only doctors and nurses who see covert patients. I mean, how are you going to prioritize within the priority groups? Sure. So we're going to be developing a decision tree for hospitals to use and we'll be finishing that this week. I want to point out that the distribution for the nursing home and other long term kitchen facilities Goes in a different way. So operation works speed working with Walgreens and CVS will be receiving the vaccine with those two pharmaceutical companies, and then they will be working to administer the vaccine in nursing homes and other long term care facilities. Do you have a sense of how many doses The first shipment is likely to include and how that compares to the number of people in this top priority. First group, so we don't exactly know how many doses we're going to get in the first shipment. So you know, we had lots of discussions with Operation Warp speed, you know, will be looking to attack the end of next week or certainly when they're going to be sent out to know exactly how many doses we're going to get in the first week. And then the expectation our weekly shipments to the hospitals and to Walgreens and CVS for those distributions. I gotta ask a lot of depending here on the ability of operation Warp speed to carry this out effectively And with Corona virus testing, the federal government kind of fell down. I mean, There weren't enough tests. Some of the tests were not accurate. Initially. How confident are you in the ability of this Trump Administration program to get this very difficult job done? We have heard directly from General Purna. You know, we have confidence in them, but I'm sure it will be a significant logistical challenge. This has to occur throughout the United States, all at the same time to all of the states, the territories. And then some specific large cities. And are you also concerned about the smooth handoff from one administration to another? I mean, if the distribution depends on Operation Warp speed, which is a Trump administration program will the Trump Administration only has so many more weeks in office. Now, the Department of Defense under General Karna, you know, will still be there in terms of continuity, But in terms of the representatives from helping human services and the administration, we would like to think that they'll be robust conversation. Nation and communication as the administration transitions. Obviously, that has not happened as much as it should have yet, But we're hoping that all those communications will be going on forthcoming. Just to get back to the scale of the logistical challenge here. This is a vaccine requires two doses weeks apart. Do you have the infrastructure to track and time who has had a first dose when yes, we do. But that is a information technology challenge in terms of making sure that we get the right vaccine into the right person at the right time. And then not only the visor vaccine, but the Madonna vaccine that also is a to dose vaccine. We've heard so many states talk about the extreme budget pressure that they are under and this is an expensive undertaking. Do you have the money? You need to do it? And if not, do you think the federal government is ready to provide it well, it will be essential for the federal government to provide more funding to the States territories in cities that will be tasked with ministering the vaccine. Operation works speed cost billions and billions for the development of the vaccine on Lee $340 million has been allocated for the next part of the mission, the distribution and the administration so clearly states and territories and cities. They're going to need more funding from the federal government to finish and accomplish this mission. These issues you're talking about could occupy you for more than 40 hours a week every week, and you are at the same time dealing with a spike in Corona virus cases and having to contact trace people who may have come in contact with exposed individuals, overcrowded hospitals. How are you juggling all of this at once? Well again. This is the public health challenge of a lifetime. I don't think any of us have seen a 40 hour week. You know, in our memories I stand corrected three ways to deal with the pandemic. You can work on containment that involved the testing and contact tracing very hard to contain a virus that has spread this far. For example, Today we are reporting 11 over 11,000 new cases. In Pennsylvania. It's impossible to contact that many people, so we have to prioritize. We prioritize to congregate, setting such as nursing homes and other long term care facilities, Correctional institutions, schools, etcetera, Then we have mitigation. Basic mitigation sets his mass and hand washing and social distancing. And then in Pennsylvania, you know we had to have a stay at home advisory. And you know, we have really tried to recommend that people avoid not only large gatherings but small gatherings. And then they'll be the vaccine those of the tools and the public health to box that we have to work with. When you're dealing with community spread on the level that we are seeing now, where there is so much of this disease and so much transmission of it. Do you have to change your approach? I mean it, Zeke gone from hand to hand combat to fighting an army out. Imagine it has And so the basic public health tool of containment, which we would do for a small measles outbreak or for it outbreak of tuberculosis? That is extremely difficult for public health to do when we're seeing this type of widespread community transmission, and then we have to pivot to more and more mitigation. It's a very unpopular it is made public health officials sometimes unpopular throughout the nation, but they're absolutely essential to try to stop the spread. And then we have the light at the end of the tunnel, which is the vaccine, but there's no quick fix to hope in 19. After Rachel Levine, Pennsylvania Health Secretary and president of the Association of State Health officials. Thank you for talking with us in the middle of everything else that you were doing. My pleasure. Thank you very much.

U.S.’s failure to contain the coronavirus ‘mind blowing,’ colder months will be ‘very tough’

"Everything that's happening right. Now was warned of six months ago. Nine months ago. I i'll i'll say it now. I was on the phone with zeke emanuel back in march and rem annual back in march. Zeke had been talking to the president. I said what are you saying until it said. It's gonna be really bad mr president. It's going to be really bad. You got to get ready and as bad as it's going to be in the spring it's going to be worse in the fall. That was the warning. Donald j trump guide in march and we heard every doctor tell him the same thing every medical expert. Tell him this same thing and of course you had the press conference where donald trump assured us that this would not come back in the fall. Dr fauci said yes. It's going to come back in. The fall and healthcare systems are going to be pressed remembered all the times. Donald trump said we had the best testing of the world. We've got more testing. You see that picture of those cars lined up around dodger stadium. The best testing in the world not even close because he reviews time and time again to implement the defense production act remember. Donald trump saying one person coming in from china and then saying it was fifteen. And then saying we're gonna be fine in the fall. Will the fall is here and looking at this at the lines of people waiting to get a test. It's worse now than ever before. Just as donald trump was warned. Back in march by zeke emanuel justice warned by anthony algae on live television in a press conference. And so here. We are coming up to two hundred thousand new infections a day. Over two hundred and fifty thousand americans. Dead and that number is skyrocketing a shortage of testing our hospital system at a breaking point. This was not stupidity. This was willful negligence. And it's on donald trump and its own. Everybody that's worked for donald trump. It's on everybody inside the white house and it's on every republican that kept their mouth shut because they didn't want to insult the president. Oh yeah now. They don't want to insult the president while he's trying to actively undermine american democracy this past year they haven't wanted to upset the president because well he was lying about the coronavirus and a lot of stupid people really ignorant people believing. That's why we saw. Actually the governor of iowa mocking a mask mandate a couple of weeks before the election but after the election now suddenly a mask mandate is good science. This is willful negligence and it is. It is party politics at its worse it is. And you don't have to take zeke manuals word for it. We heard it in the presence. Own voice on those tapes from bob woodward. He said he knew how serious it was. He knew it was deadly. He called it the plague but he said he wanted to play it down. And as you point out there are press conferences we can roll out the tape where the president would get up in that white house briefing room and say it's not coming back in the fall. This is the worst of it. He'd move aside. Dr fact would say it's coming back in the fall. This is coming back in the fall so we are right where everyone told us we were going to be the differences between march and now eight months. We haven't done anything to stop what's happening right now. The judgement of history is going to be incredibly harsh as bad as it feels right now when we have some space for this everyone can look back on it. Hopefully we get through this rather than later. The fact that our federal government led by president trump stepped aside and let this virus burn through the country. It's unforgivable and it's happening right now and if you hear the urgency in the at briefing yesterday you hear the urgency from the cdc here the urgency from the doctors who come on our show. Dr oester home yesterday. Said this is the most serious public health a moment we've had in this country right now since one thousand nine hundred eighteen and we did start acting like it

"A big part of what's lean gander is doing this week is being a spokesperson. Getting the biden. Message out about what they need and what they plan to do. The president-elect as talked about appealing to governors to try to enforce mask mandates it. Do you think those would make a difference because there are places like new york. Where you and i both live where those are in place and yet we've got big outbreaks in different communities. Well i think the key is that one how enforceable is a mandate to who is issuing the mandate. Is it somebody that these communities respect. Believe trust and i think that makes a national mandate both enforcement issues as well as the trust shoes very challenging. I do think you know a mandate coming from a governor. For example governor of south dakota that would be taken very differently would be received very differently by people in south dakota. Then if the president were issuing that same mandate should we have a national testing plan or has the boat sailed on that already so the current administration has actively discouraged. Testing has said oh. We're testing too much. That is definitely not what you're going to hear under the new administration if anything you're going to see a massive ramping up of testing and really trying especially in communities of color that have been really hard hit to make sure we have much better equity in access. But who's who's responsible for that. Is that this sort of patchwork we've got now of some state some cities. Some urgent cares or is it the federal government saying okay. We're doing widespread testing. Yeah this is the place where you're going to see. The federal government really stepping in one of the places where they could have a real impact is invoking the defense production act that would mean the federal government could compel manufacturers to crank up production. President trump has done this to a limited degree but the biden team wants to use the law. More broadly both with respect to personal protective equipment as well as scaling up production of test kits. So i i really do think we need a national plan here and that will include testing Not just people who have symptoms but people who have no symptoms expanding testing and encouraging mask. Mandates are things president-elect biden could do once. He takes office in january. That's two months from now. Normally an incoming administration would be getting information from the outgoing one. But selene says that's not happening. How much does president. Trump's refusal to concede and this sort of official transition being stuck in limbo. How much does that get in your way. Well that's a huge problem. We know historically that transitions are real period of vulnerability for the country in terms of national security. And that's whether that's a a foreign threat a terrorist threat or a threat like the corona virus and so that really could very well translate into americans dying unnecessarily to give you some examples of the kind of information we want and we can't get company gloves. do we have. How many syringes. Where are we in negotiating contracts with pharmaceutical companies with the logistics of delivery. Where are we in terms of developing databases to track who's gotten vaccinated who needs to be vaccinated. I mean those are things that are in a wait and boring nuts and bolts kind of stuff. But that's the stuff that you need to be able to plan a big response like this in terms of scaling affects nations even if the to really promising looking ones pfizer moderna if they are skilled up distribution. Is this huge challenge. How are you all thinking about vaccine distribution and getting it into the communities that that need it most so why you have to scale up. The this is where really moving forward with. The transition is really going to be important because we need to have a better understanding. What's happening on the inside with the pharmaceutical company capacity. And then once you've manufactured these doses how how do you distribute them in wear and some of that will depend on the characteristics of the vaccines. So you know the the pfizer vaccine needs to be deep-frozen minus seventy celsius. Well most family doctors. I don't know that any family doctors have the capacity to store a vaccine at that temperature. a lot of community hospitals will not have that kind of capacity either. And so what you're really looking at is having probably big academic hospital centers major health systems. Maybe pharmaceutical retail chains having central depots. Where they can do that kind of storage. But that means it's going to be harder to deliver that vaccine in particular to rural areas. So my guess is you're going to see the pfizer vaccine really targeted to urban areas. That have the capacity to deal with what we call that cold chain of freezing whereas the modern vaccine which is Which has less stringent temperature requirements in his relatively stable for a month at higher temperatures. You're going to see them journal. Vaccine probably prioritized for rural areas. And as you know a couple other vaccines emerged from the pipeline. You'll see further and further sort of targeting based on how easy it is to get those vaccines to those parts of the country. How effective those particular vaccines are for. Certain patient populations you know he might have pfizer here new york city and you might have maduna in rural wyoming listening to you. Describe the kind of logistics around that. I keep thinking about communities that have been particularly hard hit when we are talking about black and brown communities indigenous communities Ease there. I guess a painful chance that given the kind of medical infrastructure that some of these vaccines require that they're going to be doubly hit in the vaccine rollout process. Yeah this is something that we're really attentive to an it is a tricky one because there are issues a vaccine skepticism and hesitancy in some of these communities for good reason. And if you say we're going to prioritize communities of color for vaccination there will be a contingent of people who will say. Oh so we're going to be guinea pigs for this new vaccine so you have to address those very real concerns even while you are trying to prioritize because the fact is these are communities whether it's the navajo in the southwest or the south bronx here in new york city is their communities have been hit really hard and continue even now to be. Hit harder So we really do need to prioritize them if we're going to maximize the impact of the vaccines. We've been talking about trust. And i have to ask you about one of your colleagues on the advisory board Zeke emanuel who quite famously wrote an essay. saying he'd like to die at seventy five and that made a lot of people in the disability community really angry. How do you get their trust. I noticed the president-elect mentioned them specifically in his speech how do you their trust with him as a part of this group. Well i don't really want to speak to to zeke in particular but in terms of the disability community ron clean and i actually co hosted a podcast together. He had to step away for biden campaign. Were going to be the chief of staff. He's going to be the chief of staff for for President-elect biden and ron and i interviewed early on during the pandemic rebecca coakley. Who's with the center for american progress. Who is a disability rights. Activist really did listen to her concerns. Were really very much attentive to the needs of that community as well so we are taking notes. We are reaching out to people from the disability community to better understand what policies they need.

You're in the middle of shooting superstore when all of this happened right. Yeah we were. We had only one episode left to film and then we had to shut down production. Yeah we went up to burbank and we cleaned out his trailer and took the toilet paper with us. We did like walk around. The superstar sent seeing if we could find toilet and mysteriously all the toilet. Paper onset disappeared really. Isn't that interesting yeah Before any of us got to it somebody else. Well i mean you could also say that you have you have some really great set designers who are concerned about accuracy and they knew store set is going to be out of toilet paper. So let's take that is that is the one great thing about working on a show set in superstore. Is that anything i wanted. I could just ask for when i moved into our apartment. BlackRocks Larry Fink; Johnson & Johnsons Vaccine Study

"Johnson and Johnson is temporarily paused. It's cove nineteen vaccine clinical trials due to an unexplained illness in a study participant the development first reported by stat news notes that the study is not under a clinical hold that's the more serious hold and it's not immediately apparent whether the volunteer received the actual treatment. Or a placebo. That would be key difference J. J. says adverse events. Events like illnesses aren't expected part of clinical studies but if they do find out, yeah, it was the placebo. Well then. It goes without saying. Apparently. It's not always immediately available for that but I read through that a lot because it it seems to me like you'd be able to figure out pretty quickly it to shutting down your entire thing if this was somebody who got the placebo. That's why it's called the blind, a double blind study or whatever you want people knowing who? Didn't. I guess somebody knows I hope so or else you get. Jeez. Yeah. Wow maybe. Striking, about this, this is now the second one of these that we've had AstraZeneca's you know put a hold of briefly internationally on their efforts but by the way that effort I believe is not ongoing right now in the United States. So if for example, there was a hold on the Astra Zeneca project in the United States and they separate hold now on the Johnson and Johnson one minute. It's not this is not a whole. Holistic. Pause. Right. A pause, but there was a I the point I was trying to make was there was a pause if you WANNA use the word pause and hold I know there now there's a distinction between the two, but there was also a pause on the Astra Zeneca program in the United States if they're also pause on the Johnson and Johnson Program in the United. States then you're then you're now down to Pfizer and Madonna as the most promising. The only other two that are even ongoing when you think about the time line for when these things become available, it could become more challenged. I I would. I would wait until. You know. That's not like you to find the negative part of it, but I mean I. Came back. It's not I hadn't realized I. Don't know if you want. I not. Not a spinal thing like the other one I understand that. Thousands of people in all these trials and you're talking about two cases that you don't even know we're going to result in Holt. So it made push it out to ask what if the dates maybe bad possibly, what possible what have you imagined that would have you imagined that the Astra Zeneca program would be running everywhere else in the in the world except the United States right now I I haven't thought realized that tried to mad and haven't tried Ed Needs is this means it's going to be the Astra Zeneca program to become available here at the United States in any kind of similar time. That's the point. For more on the news from Johnson and Johnson. Let's bring in Dr Zeke Emanuel. He of course, the former White House health policy advisor under President Obama he's now vice provost of global initiatives at the university, of Pennsylvania, and he's currently an informal adviser to the Joe Biden campaign and the Covid nineteen and Vaccine Recommendations. By the way he just co authored a research letter for the Journal of the American Medical Association comparing us, covert fatalities to those of some larger OECD countries to talk about that in just a moment. But Dr Manual let's start with this news from J. and J. Does this concern you? Well, any time? There's a serious adverse event it has to concern you but I think as. J. F. O. explained. You know you have to let the process evolve you have to actually examine carefully what the? Situation is the adverse event is related to the vaccine or placebo. Related to something else a pre existing condition, and so those are exactly the kind of questions at. Researchers will look at and try to uncover in the next few hours. And then we'll find out more. If it's in the you know arm with of the vaccine it does raise serious questions because you only have a few thousand people in the study like this one adverse event is serious especially when you're considering a vaccine that you're going to roll out to tens, hundreds of millions of people maybe even billions of people. So you know. That's the that's the ultimate concern, and this is actually standard process. For every research study you get a serious adverse event, you investigate it, it happens all the time. It's just the world's not always watching. So closely to see what the developers are excited worth pointing out that the the CFO of Johnson and Johnson also pointed out, they don't know any of these answers because they have turned it all over to independent investigators, and that is what kind of beefs up the credibility issues around those. The CFO himself has no idea even though this was thirty six hours ago whether this was in a placebo patients someone who actually received the vaccine will continue. That they've been carefully collaborating with the NIH on this trial and you know that I also think should give the American public. Some reassurance at this is going to be done thoroughly and to the highest scientific standards might detrimental. Let's talk about that paper that you wrote. You found that the United States did have higher death rates from Cova. I think the big question is was that something that was taking place very early on in the pandemic and that has improved since then and what have you found? Tell us a little bit about your study. So what we did is to take the United States mortality from it. Compare it to eighteen. Countries a high income countries like Japan and Australia Canada and Jeremy and also the countries that were hit very hard at the start Italy Spain, France and other. European countries. And we looked at the whole period and compared to most countries We actually the United States has done poorly even if you include the early phase but if you exclude the early phase March and April when every many countries were overwhelmed especially places like Italy and Spain. And you exclude them and then look say may after countries have experienced, got their arms around how to manage this of virus. I turns out the United States at extraordinarily bad even compared to places like Italy a we had from. May Tenth. To today roughly ninety thousand more deaths and we should have had we followed Italy scores ninety thousand Americans who died needlessly. As I have pointed out before Italy didn't have anything special or different in terms of Treatment Vaccines Diagnostics compared to the United States, what they have is better public health. Implementation of the public health measures, and that actually is a could could have saved tens of thousands of lives in the United States. and. We can see that when we compare our experience to those of other countries. What are you talking about in terms of reactions? You mean people wearing masks, you mean contact tracing do you mean testing that's put out? How much this you think falls on the healthcare system. As a fault and how much of it rely falls on public policy reaction to it. How much falls on just citizens following the rules well. It's all of it, but it's mainly the public health response in public policy. It really is implementing those public health measures, countrywide with fidelity. And then slowly reopening. So you do have to have social distancing you do have to have a trying not to go indoors. You do have to have having crowds less than twenty. You do have to have wearing face masks doing hand hygiene and focusing your testing and contact tracing capacity first of all, building it up, which we never did successfully in this country, and then focusing it on hot spots because we know this virus breaks out. A super spreading events it's not the usual person to person to person you know eighty to ninety percent of people will not pass this to anyone. Ten percent to twenty percent of people 'cause eighty percent of the infection. So you have to be able to identify them and quickly suppressed that we never built up that capacity the federal government under president trump punted it to the states and then states did very different. Things had Florida right now as rapidly opened up restaurants and many other things and a lot of us are expecting super spreading situations in Florida. We've seen. Places that kind of ignored? This up and down the Midwest saying Oh it's not here. Now having very high rates of cases we've had thirty one states that are going up and not down which is a very worrisome situation going into the fall and we're going to move inside. It's going to much easier to pass this virus along. And a lot of us are seriously worried about the consequences hazy I'm trying to do whether that was apples to apple. So when in May in the United. States. We got we got a later start right in Europe and by May they're already seeing. Progress over in Europe did you adjust I'm not sure whether you adjusted for that because we were right at the height. Close to it in May still and and they were on the downside in. Europe is. Standardized that in a way or wrong on that or or because we were going to have a lot more. A lot more deaths in in May than they would because they they were they got it a lot earlier there. Then I have a follow up question to. That is a super sophisticated question and you're one hundred percent, right we started a week or two later than European countries like Italy France But if you make that adjustment, it makes a slight difference not. Difference Yeah. So it's not it's not. Our peak was in May and their peak was in the end of March early April. In fact, our peak was earlier in April. and. By, by May tenth, we should have gotten our arms around and then also in our paper, we look at June seven and subsequently, and even if you look at June seven, we have tens of thousands of more debts that other countries like again the Netherlands France Spain. Italy. So we've done poorly, and by the way our data collection goes through mid September. So we've done poorly even with the August blip because of the. Spring summer vacations in many European countries where we know people like Silvio Berlusconi in Italy partied and ignored all the recommendations and got cove it So we have done badly even after even if you include the fact that we got this about a week or two later compared to other countries that was a very good question typically on the high level statisticians or clinical researchers ask that kind of. I don't with. Feeling so good about myself. All of a sudden the problems we've had here the number of cases the number of that's a number of hospitalizations was not inevitable. It was a result of bad public health measures being implemented or not implemented as the case may be and you can see this repeatedly states seeming seeming to learn nothing like Florida rushing to open up restaurants bars when we should be slowly slowly be opening. Detrimental very quickly. It I guess we do have time for one more question how how much of an impact do you think a Americans healthiness versus other countries have how do we rate just in terms of underlying co morbidity is that might be there well, it's a mixed bag for one thing our population skews younger than most European countries, they have a much older population more people over sixty five. And we know that older people tend to die from this disease unfortunately we have more co morbidity in terms of diabetes in terms of obesity, but they have more Komo British in terms of lung problems because they have higher smoking rates in the United States Net Nan. It probably comes out in the wash but we're going to have to do some more. Rigorous Studies of the CO morbidity situation and the age distribution of the population. But I don't think it's GonNa be tens of thousands of deaths. It might be a few thousand maybe even ten thousand but the overwhelming response effect that about half of our deaths or unnecessary that's not gonNA come out because of small differences in co morbidity between our countries and their country. Zeke thank you very much for your time. It's really great talking to you. Thank you very sophisticated questions this morning.

Dallas Cowboys Offensive Line In Flux Due To Injuries

"Have lots of talk about as it relates the cowboys I just what I think of this team this year and the expectations after Jerry Jones finally made the gutting decision that led to Jason Garrett showing up the building every day with a binder underneath his arm and dutifully hoping that he would. Get a stay of execution cowboy fan celebrated not only the draft pick a CD lamb but a coach was skins. Mike McCarthy hasn't exactly translated into the season that they had hoped for, and we're expecting some of it has to do with injuries bobby and we'll get to those in a second but a lot of teams are having to deal with injuries this year. Yeah. I, mean, the team the cowboys have up here the browns they've got a lot of injuries to deal with I. Mean The seahawks had you know a lot of patchwork stuff that they were doing last Sunday against the cowboys and so injuries are an excuse they're not necessarily a good excuse though for this cowboys team I think they, they definitely are missing some guys. They probably feel a little bit like we're not gonNA know who we are for real until probably mid October when randy gets reinstated fully you get hopefully late and vander aeschbacher. Corner start getting healthy so. It may be a situation where the cowboys are kind of you know we're GONNA fight and we're GONNA get as best we can until we get healthy and that's not necessarily an excuse that they're giving. It's just this is the way it's gotta be, and we kind of make do a little bit because they are decimated in the secondary. They've had issues at linebacker they've you know had the issues along the offensive line they lost jar when they're starting tight end and So I, mean they've definitely. Had those issues the thing that they don't want. You, you can't really do anything about injuries. You just adapt as best. You can the thing they don't want his they can't have. Three drops and you know two and a half yards per touch from Zeke Elliott. They can't have Jalen Smith missing tackles consistently and still be sixty million dollar guy they can't have. Dak Prescott turning the ball over. They need to have him protecting the ball. They can't have you know some of these. Occasional Amari Cooper focus drops. You expect injuries you deal with those. What you can have is all of that and then along in the secondary, you can't have guys just making really low I q reads and busted covered just stuff that doesn't seem to be a factor of trying to learn a new defense. This just seems like flat out low I q stuff of not recognizing who's assignment is who's You know I think back to Jalen Smith's comment to a about. Throwing it out through a little bit. Maybe they need to simplify the playbook if our fans aren't familiar with that one, let's play that one real quick. People, find beams the defense could innocent the group. Absolutely. Absolutely. I. Believe. Allowing more allowing US more opportunities to Hound in on what? We're actually going to run in in our game plan. I believe it's important. That each and every player knows in and out what they have to do. With a smaller playbook, you you know gives us better opportunity to do that. And like I said this about as growing each and every week. On coaches are the same page, the players on the same page and we're just trying to do whatever it takes to get that much better. Each and everyone is that players that aren't capable of learning the playbook or is it possibly too complicated? I don't know but I, got to tell you for all the people that wanted Rod. Marinelli Outta here have been overly impressed with Mike Nolan's defense. Again, injuries are an issue, I mean you lose Gerald McCoy loosely Van Deresh. You lose your to starting Corner Anthony Brown, and Lucy, but even they were healthy in that first game. I didn't think this team look that good. No, and you know it's again it's one of those things where not even a mention he's been healthy for the season but Jordan Lewis missed all the camp. I. Sale. Yeah. Exotic Woods was a big part of your problem last Sunday against the seahawks but I think overall everybody's got to step up. You know it's funny. We had Had the funny line during training camp. When asked him do you think about opting out at all and he said, Nope, contract to your baby and there's a lot of guys back there right now in contractors Jordan Lewis Cheeto you've got exertive your woods is another one. And it's fascinating that they're seeming to have these issues not just with again, the adjustment or or or skill players opposite them it's they're just dropping the ball in terms of. Knowing really basic fundamental stuff that that should have been all ironed out already and and you can say, maybe that's a a an issue with you didn't have some of the same lead up time or some of the same work that you would normally get but everybody had those same sort of issues and and not everybody is having these same sorts of just busted coverage touchdowns. I. Think there's four already on the year that were just left wide open by somebody not knowing an assignment including three last week against the

"I am drafting one more team tonight. You're looking at him as a top four. Pick if not sooner than that in your draft yes he will not be one hundred percent ready to go in terms of being in football shape but it says nikiel elliott last year he averaged twenty carries the game and five perceptions options again. He had twenty nine more touches than any other player in the n._f._l. And he missed a game. He is the preeminent workhorse back in the n._f._l. Expected to me a close facsimile to that on sunday sunday against the giants. What impact does his presence now. His return have on prescott value. It actually helps dak. Some thought that maybe not having zeke would mean more passing yards arts for dak prescott well that has been incredibly efficient as a running quarterback specifically near the goal line. He's got six rushing touchdowns in each of his first three seasons. Zeke zeke may do some of the dirty work between the twenties but it presents more opportunities project press got to close the job either through throwing touchdown or a rushing touchdown when she has shown a penchant it for early on in his career this helps the value of dak prescott who by the way is in a very favorable spot. We one if you're looking to maybe stream your quarterback in week one because 'cause you're nervous about. Someone like aaron rodgers facing agreement. Excuse me facing the chicago bears on thursday night. Let let me ask you while i have you here. A couple of other fantasy questions shady mccoy signed with the chiefs over the weekend. How do you see their running game shaking out from a fantasy perspective. Nobody over the weekend saw their value to get hit more than damian williams. The chiefs previously starting starting running back because the shawn mccoy was given enough money that indicates the chiefs didn't just bring there to be a spectator can do greenie is he's still outstanding in space. The yards per carry early last year was brutal for lucia mcquaid but it was tough. Offensive line and offensive was a work in progress. I think it was shawn. Mccoy still is enough durability to be fifteen..

"They got rid of office coordinator because we felt like he was not supporting him enough. Jeremy fowler dak prescott the next in line. Will he become the richest player of all time when his deal gets done and we'll that'd be simple because he's the next quarterback. Next quarterback is going to be the richest and that's why jared goff got paid because the ram said not only do. We have an ascending quarterback but it's going to be ugly the next year if we wait what it'd be plays well. There's five thousand yards then. We're looking at thirty five thirty eight million and this wasn't even the deal that was under consideration really a month ago. They had an approach goff about a deal. It came together very quickly because decided hey. Let's get ahead of this money. Now feels like teams are panicking because their market skyrockets so quickly swag. I'll give you the final word on this. Do you like what the rams did hear locking goff up for the long term and making him the richest player in the game. I'll do them green because they don't grow trees. Here's the thing that people have to realize man when you the quarterback market is different than any other margaret. When you find a good one that you can win with. Maybe they're not air rodgers. Tom brady radio drew brees or guys like that but when you find one that you think you can win win and take your franchise for the knicks eight to ten years and have success and he's shown the ability to do that. You have to lock them up. The market obviously is determining a lot of what these guys again jared goff two years ago. We were talking about him. Maybe not being able to play in the league. Dak doc is going to get paid or are they are they thirty five thirty to thirty five million dollars a year quarterbacks based on our test. No they're not neither one of them are but what they have done for their franchise the importance of that position and where they are right now currently it matters look i was in the n._f._l. When album as we've got a hundred million dollars from washington redskins we knew dan will albany's wasn't worth one hundred million dollars but we knew he was worth a lot of money but the market determined that and a lot of guys after that they fell into a lot of money because alba's worth set that market up that will be the next in line. He'll be the highest paid when we do our test is worth thirty four thirty thirty five million dollars not to me personally but he is worth whatever the cowboys see him more as far as where their franchises going in the future so i think that's what it takes. Place laced jared goff made one hundred ten million dollars because jared goff is in the perfect situation. He is in a position where team is very good around him and he needs to build. A statue is sean mcvay somewhere on the south. Okay i gotta take a short break here. We have so much ado obviously. This is a really busy day from the national football league much much more from this morning's news. What does this zeke elliott contract mean for saquon barkley answers to that question and more. "What does that mean i love it and you mentioned that i was president of the players association the only way you normally get things things done is with collective action but we're seeing individual accidents something that we'd never see an n._f._l. Individual action like this having this much leverage in getting this much power and g._m. So you know the way these are. The other owners going to be mad jerry for doing this because this is now a precedent. I'm not really want to talk about saquon barkley when he might have to go in there and tell the giants. He wants a new deal. This is a new precedent now. A three year rookie will had two years left on his contract. Will the other owners be upset about this well. I don't think so from this standpoint because i think you nailed the green because dallas cowboys this year are super bowl contenders woodsy kelly. Let's compare that with the chargers situation melvin gordon try the same. He ran the same play he lost cost so i think this is much more operational. I think don makes a really good point last year. The dallas cowboys were a top five team time of possession which made their defense a lot better so i. I think z. has value. That's more than just the right back position so i think the other owners will look at this is this is a very unique situation swagger when let's get to this stuff that i think most fans is care about. I love the minutia of all of this collective bargaining stuff but i don't know that most football fans do marcus fears. Here's what most football fans care about with zeke elliot now back and hopefully any better than ever are the cowboys the best team in your mind in the n._f._c. No they're not the best team but they definitely should be a team contending to win the n._f._c. I think the saints green you know my pick in the n._f._c. is the new orleans saints because drew brees is going to try to decapitate every football team that he plays but with that being said with zeke has done for this franchise in for this organization way he brings to the field and don pointed to it. Mike pointed to force the defense but offensively look there. There are few players we get in professional sports that literally get other players. Play sips paid simply because they're on the team. Zeke is one of those guys that's gonna get dak prescott pay. He's gonna open up downfield for some receive. If not amari cooper they'll bring some receiver and they'll give him some money. In order to play z. effects everything that this team is doing and usually players. Don't recognize that importance they have to a football team or franchise chas but zeke did it gives age rocky arts no credit for both of them recognizing how much of an impact they have on this football team not just offensively and and the narrative will be a super bowl contenders. You said a lot of smart things except that the saints are better than that so i disagree with you there. This roster is stacked. They may be the most talented and i think they're probably one of the best teams n._f._c. about the saints but everything else who said is right about ezekiel. Let's talk about the immediacy of this okay. He's got a deal now. It's wednesday morning. They will practice today. Ezekiel ezekiel elliot and i have very little in common but we have both been to kabo in my experience in kabul. I've never seen anyone inva- jim so my question. Is i get that he's not being being there for the same circumstances that i've been there for but what can we expect from him. Realistically this sunday against the giants every game precious is in the n._f._l. You can't give any of them away so i imagine they're gonna put him out there early. They're going to test this week and see how he feels and if they feel good about it they're going to put them out there early and if he plays well they're gonna keep writing. That may be a mistake but that's what they're gonna do. Because that's what football the words mike tannenbaum soft tissue absolutely durell rivas is the other two words come out my mouth and i've had experience with this and the giants and the redskins are their first two games division division games are about a game and a half so it's not necessarily the quality of the quantity of the place..

"Some. I'm done gotta have here. It is here's zeke elliot. You see the names on your screen loud collins or they got done yesterday. Jalen smith about two weeks ago and demarcus lawrence earlier in this off season mr teague. I'll tell you what journey are. We just said i totally agree with which time has been on dak prescott sat side from a standpoint jared goff just made a lot more money for dak prescott. The cowboys cannot let him go. We saw that once. Dom in terms of kirk cousins are very average quarterback at ninety thousand guaranteed from the minnesota vikings so if i'm dak prescott i liked going last it really to help position. I think i'm gonna get you in a minute but let me bring marcus spears into the conversation the longtime cowboy who knows the ins and outs of this as anybody marcus. We've been talking about this and feels like forever. The zeke deal is done. What's your reaction. My reaction is is wonderful. Look first of all. There's value back in the running back market. I think everybody understands that as we continue. Can you to have this conversation. People have to remember lady. I'm bill was planning under a franchising todd. Gurley was up for deep physique to get a deal done at this period in time time and we had we talked about it at nauseam greenie egg and mitee. He did not have to get a contract right now. The dallas cowboys did not have to pay him and and i think that alone makes this more significant than any other running back <hes> contract our conversation that they value this position especially when it's built around with zeke is running back and how this team is being structure. We just saw leo collins. Get a new contract as well. Don't think that that wasn't in mind that we we'll have arguably the best or one of the best running backs in the n._f._l. Running behind an offensive line that we wanna keep intake the deal is wonderful for z is wonderful for the cowboys boys and it's wonderful for what they want to do. As a football team we can get caught up in the money and the guarantees but here's the structure of this football team literally the piece that they needed to come back together in order for them to be a good football team on the field and at the end of the day. That's what everybody's concerned with. Yes his long leverage in. All of this has been a super bowl team with him. They're not without him and everyone knows that niki been shaking your head a lot this morning. I think he's let me talk to the best laugh obviously but i think market about him. Being the lynch pin to their team is important. It's not just the offense. The defense team has had the fewest drives as a defense of anybody license two thousand sixteen. That's in part because of zeke elliott doesn't often subsided ball so he means a lot there and i think <hes> along with with marcus at our. I don't know why but i get so happy. Whenever anybody gets paid. It feels good to see a guy get paid a guy who's worked that hard in earns it and i do remember. I want to bring to your attention that we this whole off season in god bless jerry jones and steven jones for talking and saying all types of nonsense because it gave us stuff for us to talk about all season but all they've been saying has been nonsense this. We're not gonna reset the market. Not only did you reset the market. You set a precedent of signing a guy two years earlier so you pay them more than anyone else has got paid and you've set president the other. G._m.'s might have a problem in case. There's anyone not aware you were the president of the players association at one time so your knowledge of this stuff is informed by that yeah i have plenty of experience with jerry jones and his it might come off like i don't like him. When when i say that what he's saying is not since i do like it a fun guy to be around but i know when his when his mouth opens sometimes lies come up quite often lies come out and we've seen a lot of lies in fairness to him. That's true in a lot of negotiations with a lot of right. They say what seems beneficial on their side but at the end of the they don't have to say it publicly..

"Again sling dot com slash vox dash n._f._l. Okay so the thing <hes>. What do you think what do you think how do you feel because there's a lot of stuff going on seemingly in every direction as we mentioned before the break the cowboys have two candidates in kana mcgovern and luke gifford that they can place on injured reserve serve which would free up to roster spots. Now i mentioned earlier how i wrote something about. The biggest surprise is from the roster. The only one i didn't mention was justin phillips. Justin phillips balled out for the cowboys in the preseason and everybody's still wondering why he's not on the team why he didn't get added to the practice squad the cowboys tried and ultimately emily didn't add <hes> tried to add cow queiro and you wonder well if you're interested in him for your practice squad. Why were you not interested in justin phillips. I think the answer is obvious. It's an assumption but i think the answer is obvious in that. It's clear that the cowboys wanted to carry luke gifford on their fifty three man roster gesture that they could put him on injured reserve and with the ability to return which is probably going to happen and then once that roster spot is available. They'll sign justin phillips to the roster outright that that seems to make sense that makes an overwhelming amount of sense the other roster spot that could be gained by moving connor mcgovern at the fifth through your mentor astor likely belongs to ezekiel elliott. I think we all believe that and and it's really kind of hard to figure out what you believe. Do you believe that zeke is going to play this season for the cowboys. Do you believe that he wanted to play week one for the cowboys. Do you believe that contract. You you know extension is going to happen between now and i dunno wednesday whatever on sunday there were all sorts of reports really on saturday. It got started <hes> saturday afternoon. Riders college football kind of kicked off by the way what a glorious weekend of college football we had. I know there were no real great games but it was still awesome to have it back in our lives. I'm looking so forward to my in texas aggies heading to clemson on saturday. It's not gonna be a great result but still gonna have. We're gonna have some good times and then we'll enjoy the l._s._u. Texas game him as a nightcap before cowboys on sunday but anyway e._s._p._n.'s adam schefter reported on saturday afternoon. That talks were intensifying between the cowboys. Whoa whoa whoa if felt like the michael scott gift it's happening moment and so everybody got all excited and while where where is the deal with what happened i mean we we heard talks intensifying and then sunday report comes out from the dallas morning news yeah actually there's a little bit more ground to cover than we we all initially thought and then sunday. There were all sorts of reports. I mean there were reports that talks for heating up. The things are really moving. They were talks. You know that there were no talks e._s._p._n. E._s._p._n. and w._f._a._n. Reported that one source told archer and mike leslie that the cowboys and you know zeke's people's camp didn't even talk on sunday eh and todd archer thought of e._s._p._n. Brought up a great point. You know that the cowboys could be close but that he was told that they didn't talk on sunday and you would think that that if they were close that they would talk right and i think you know you can also throw in or at least consider the fact that this was a holiday weekend. It is labor day happy labor day it everybody so maybe that you know like i don't know some banks are closed. I mean you know what i mean like. I just that's gotta be some factor in some way but but so i will say this my own personal assessment is that when we start to hear things like this like talking. It's he knob etc typically typically when there's smoke. There's fire and if there's you know i don't my point is i don't think we would be hearing this type of stuff and this type of these type of things would be being reported if there was no movement at all. There's clearly some movement. Maybe it's not going to drop until monday..

"It. If you are just it makes your skin crawl the idea of paying a running back the reality though is that's very fair for zeke okay. That's very very fair and the reason i say this is a point that joe thomas former cleveland browns left tackle. Now does a tomahawk show and he's a great follow on twitter kc point. He raised it. A lot of people have raised. Zeke technically deserves to be paid like the best running back in the n._f._l. And i know that you don't wanna pay that i know yeah but if we're talking about a world of objectivity if we're talking about a world driven by data if we're talking about a world based on statistical evidence zeke absolutely absolutely deserves to be paid like the n._f._l.'s best running back and maybe you don't want to couch to be that team but if it was my job to make sure that zeke elliott got as much money money as possible. I would not settle for anything less than the most in the n._f._l. Because zeke's resume outshines todd girls it outshines levy on bells it outshines christian mccaffrey's shines barclays only been in the n._f._l. One-season but you get my point. He has a resume that is incredible. He's led the league in rushing to the last three seasons. He's been the engine that's propelled his offense and his team to division titles in those two seasons to the divisional round in both of those two seasons yes he's had off the field incidents that are scary and warrant consideration ration- and could potentially justify paying a little bit less than his onfield statistics would deny he deserves but the fact remains that he is an incredible football player and so you have to honestly consider the fact that he deserves to be paid like the highest paid running back on the n._f._l. So all that being said okay all of that being said if i can pay him like the league's second-best running back in the n._f._l. I'm doing that because that's technically good value. That is technically paying less than what what in this case zeke is worth. I mean if if i had to buy a new car and i hate drying up analogy. It's like this but it's friday so i feel weird if i had to buy a new car and you you told me the car was forty thousand dollars the list price that's what it was going for aren't even know what all the things are called carfax and whatever all the commercials it was going forty thousand forty thousand forty thousand forty forty thousand and i didn't want to buy a new car maybe on the fence whatever but all of a sudden i could get it for like thirty four thousand dollars. Hey all of a sudden. I'm way more interested in this car because i can get it for less less than it is. Worth less than the market rate that is a point that people have when it comes to dak prescott do not want to pay the market rate pay him thirty two million dollars. I'm not paying thirty thirty five..

"The way that we prepare you for the football season. Beyond asking drew brees only questions sion's about the time that he killed an alligator with his bare hands is <hes> we do the sui awards are annual awards show. We do it <hes> every year right before. Four football season starts and so next week you will have the sui awards. It's sort of a it's a recall an reminiscing about all of the funny and weird things that happened over the last year and it about the most fun we have so that is going to be next week. I really do who though greg want to get into what your thoughts are because i just heard will cain during one of the commercials for e._s._p._n. Radio saying that the jerry jerry jones joke zeke who was benign and what i would say to will cain is not if it were your money not if you were holding out in the president of this company company as soon as you went out. They put someone else in your spot and he said <hes> will who right. You wouldn't find that quite as funny. It'd be belly laughing yeah if you were scared for your job if you turn if you're totally disposable the way you already s._p._f. Not him just anybody is e._s._p._n. I think what will was trying to say. Though is that zeke's you'd have. He should have full security. He should feel very secure and his place jerry jones the dallas cowboys and it was just kind of a joke but to your point you're right. I mean if our boss comes out and says that about well after two weeks off at someone comes up and puts up decent ratings. He's not laughing. I mean i don't care. I'm not laughing yeah it. It certainly not <hes> benign if the agent and the player feel disrespected by the comment you know when i first heard jerry jones say it my initial instinctive thought was art that he just just making a a an off hand quip to get those belly laughs from the media and the media always tend to over laugh whenever anybody says anything the least bit funny but i don't think it was an off hand quip <hes>. I think that was jerry jones <hes> playing hardball. I think that was him bluffing. In a in a game of poker <hes> i think he's trying to put more pressure on ezekiel elliott by making a comment that suggests you know what zico we're ready to move on without him. You better sign chris mortenson and <hes> explain to us and we'll get you that sound in a second the over laughing sound and the jerry jones down. He's signed greg. He just doesn't wanna play into that contra right but but and the hold out is what i mean chris mortenson told us and it's right that jerry jones as soon as the cameras go off. He's laughing to himself about all of it because what jerry jones has shown over time consistently is that he doesn't mind the circuits he really believes the p. T. barnum ideas of just give me your attention. Shen and i will find all the suckers because he doesn't think any of this is actually problematic. He does not mind hell man. He wasn't even finding finding the crimes of those glory day cowboys that problematic given that they kept the actual crimes not the sportsmanship crimes the crimes that ended up in the the courtroom because it was all part of cowboys being cowboys boys being boys..

"Message. That's a big deal. It's a control message and i think in a similar way. This is is that this wasn't zeke was heard offhand at the resort and kabo. Somebody heard him saying he felt disrespected. No no this was was his agents words transcribed words that he gave to mort to <hes> to share with the world and look. It's all a game all right. It's all all the game of checkers chess if you watched sunday's episode of big brother is kind of a complicated thing. It's all a game right. Now of posturing trying china get one side to cave trying to play the media trying to understand the way the movement and the crowds are working for what it's worth. We tweet a poll on the blog on the voice twitter account on monday afternoon us happening we asked how do you feel about zeke and his agent finding this disrespectful. We had four options one definitely disrespectful to wouldn't bother me. Three three zeke is overreacting for it's all agent talk. <hes> the lowest response was that it wouldn't bother you with eleven percent second lowest was that it was definitely really disrespectful with jerry jones said twenty two percent of the votes twenty four percent of people said that is definitely overreacting and forty three percent lead the way noting that it's it's all agent talk and that's my take away from this. This is zeke's agent. What jerry said was it a joke absolutely it was it's definitely a joke with jerry. Jones say we all laughed ha yeah. It's funny man. It's only politburo zeke's better. That's what jokes do but it was not necessarily a wise thing to say that a wise thing to say when you're in the middle of contract negotiations but arjun arjun was a joke. I know it was a joke. I know it was a joke and it was funny. I laughed you laughed but it still doesn't mean it was smart to say and that being said zeke's agent saw that as an opportunity i'm not saying that this worked out but zeke's agents saw that as an opportunity in tribe exploit it because while this did not happen even the possibility existed that lots of cowboys fans would rally around what zeke's agent told chris moore said and say dow was so disrespectful full of jerry jones. He needs to pay zeke elliott etc. I mean it is it's posturing. That's what's happening here. Zeke's agent read the situation. A bit did improperly tried this played. This hand and i don't want to say that blew up in his face but if you i mean the temperature of cowboys fans that i'm getting we're seeing a blog on the boys is that people are miffed that zeke could be legitimately disrespected by what jerry jones said given the context texts of it being a joke if you're curious from my own personal thoughts. I don't personally believe that zeke or his agent felt disrespected. Can't i can't speak for these two people because you know they speak for themselves but my read on the situation is that they saw this as an opportunity to try and capitalize on something jerry jones said which was not wise of him that should be said they saw this as an opportunity they shot their shot and they missed they missed in that fans did not necessarily surly gravitate towards zeke. Sometimes that happens sometimes in contract negotiations word gets out to help fans. Kinda jump on the side of the teams aren't by the side the player etc. This was a shot at zeke's side seemed to take and i don't think that it landed and you know what i don't blame them for taking that shot right now they're trying to get zeke elliot the most money that they possibly can there are lots of strategies and thoughts and and so many avenues of planning that go into that and i mean as much money as you can. I don't fault anybody for that <hes>. I don't know that i fall to such a heavy word. I don't know that i fought jerry jones for percent what he did but it was not wise was it innocent generally but it was not wise so that's kind of where we're at with zeke in that he the and his agent apparently felt disrespected by what jerry jones said in terms of his joke. I think everybody understands what's happening here and i think we all just have to keep waiting..

"So you got that you gotta running back last June, Gurley was the only two thousand fifteen first round pick to get a deal after three years. So yeah, I'm pointing to both those things. It's interesting Zeke is kind of the, the outline here because he doesn't seem to be as connected to one another as the other two. I wanna move onto Amari next. And I wanna start with you. You mentioned you know, there's a possibility that any of them really, but the z could hold out, and obviously, that exists in situations like this. A friend of mine is always in my ear, and he's always telling these and dude if I was Amari, I would hold that because I mean, from the perspective of perceived worse. I think everybody agrees that Amari Cooper is one of the, you know, top all whatever you want eight or nine receivers in the NFL. But if feels like he could never have an eight game run that would replicate or emulate, maybe the discipline production. Sure. But the emotion that was a vote based on. What he did over the second half of last season. I mean, if I was Amari that would be a legitimate idea at the very least just because what he came in and did in is so almost impossible to do yet. He did it. I understand. He's certainly on his fifth year option. But I mean, would that be a consideration from our in your opinion? Yeah. It's up thing that you would talk about, you know, hold out is really up to individual player and how they feel about it. You can't make a player hold out agent 'cause if they're not into it, and they don't have conviction about it hits. It's doing for failure, right? The thing is the Cowboys kinda have to get deal done with him because you didn't give up your first round pick to have him, just be short term player in Dallas. So that's his leverage comes from plus the impact he had on the passing game. Right. Oh, what's he? What's he got here? So you're gonna have to pay him if not at the top of the market near the top of the market because he's got a lot of things in his favor. Could you play for the basically fourteen million? If he had to. Yeah, if you're gonna franchise him, and he doesn't have a deal going to be basically eighteen million next year. So. Yeah. He's, he's sitting pretty Amari Cooper is in a great position is a Mark Hooper in a position to leverage. The fact that he you know, because his quarterback is going to get paid. Obviously any Antonio Brown has an effect on the receiving game in Oakland, etc. But Amar's in a position where he has an effect on the passing game that is also to get paid. So if you're a Mari, are you coming from a perspective of, hey, if you're passing game is worth thirty million dollars a year and we'll get to deck on the second. You know, I, I don't know that, you know, that number from me shouldn't be higher. If feels unique in that sense. Agent. He's got Joel Siegal who held out Khalil Mack in, in guide him made him the highest paid non quarterback and football. I'm I'm telling the powers that be I major passing game. I guy major passing game. What was your quarterback last year before my guy got here, there's a market different dramatic difference between what your quarterback did with in without me? So you need to pay me for what I brought to the table in terms of making this team go from an also ran to a division winner in that is all because of me. I also impact, how defense is defend Ezekiel Elliott, because me is Jim receiving threat got makes life a little bit easier for him to so. Yeah, I'm bringing up all of those things. I'm the agent. So before we get to sort of the overall perspective, deck Prescott is the subject that if you've never really completely dived into Cowboys twin. Her Joel, you know, you might want to wear a wet suit..

"Mobile app and a virtual radio station to its music artists from all over the world submit their music. So a lot of cool things to talk about Zeke. But what does mindfulness mean to you? What's it all about in your life? Sure. So mindfulness to me means being aware, they more than anything else and kind of being present as a creative you sometimes get very stuck in your own head, and my eyes can show it. And so it's interesting that the idea of trying to bring mindfulness to my to my own world and my life as a matter of trying to step outside of my surroundings and become more and more aware of the little things, you know, natural things, you know, in in nature, you know, the mechanics behind something just a fine fascination in something that gets me away from what I'm currently working like almost like like like a respite of my from my creativity for the most part. Well, I'm fascinated to learn about what you're currently working out. It's a project called billboard. Can you? Tell us more about it from your perspective. Oh, absolutely. Sure. So billboard is a it's a lot of things is a feature film where the feature film focuses on a radio station that is struggling to succeed they pull it the oldest trek radio, which is the wacky radio contest. And so they decided to host a billboard sitting contest or four people live on a catwalk in front of a billboard two one survives or remains. I should say to win a mobile home.

But I like unless like New Orleans defense regresses a lot like I have a hard time picking against them or Carolina. So yeah, I guess I'm gonna pick Carolina in Green Bay. The two wildcard teams. My Dallas had very bootstrap a year. I think I think that energy is going fourteen wins there. We've talked bad receivers. They might have the worst. They've they've no idea what they've got. Like Zeke zeke's their offense. It's not a bad often. Also, they, I'm sure they have tied in that can run fast in a five to forty now. I mean, they got Hearns just talking about. They do have my boy. Wrap extrordinary, Kobe's Louis, Michel gallium. Yeah, someone named Jeff Suame. I don't know who a lot of burnings. And there's going to have that killer offense of line fucking Zack Martin's already hurt and their offensive line. They how hurt all at first I thought he was done for the case anymore, but it was like when he went down there like fucked season's over so that I don't care for like the offensive line. So good one guy gets to false shit. I don't know. That makes sense. Right guard goes out. We're. That adds up. AFC strap energy works. It works in mysterious ways, man..

"So I don't playing space and gives economic tune to get one on one see with Marcia one on one with someone other than the number one corner thrown into while you put a safe, if you won't, do you put a line back on them if you want to. And if it was your second corner, they're gonna throwing the ball, skip. I gained it. You wanna show, but they're not gonna put. They might do a smash concept. Would he put Zeke out wide? He runs five yard stop. They take the guy that's next lineup. Next Zeke running seven or point around the guy sinks thought Zeke out wide, but as far as putting Zeke out, y z, go do your work, that's give you that. I know I don't know do that. So in your constant quest to hate on the Dallas. You have again taken a pretty simple little remark to the absolute utter extreme. You're saying he wants to go full on Marshall Faulk. That's not what he's saying. He just wants to add a dose of Marshall Faulk to his repertoire, and it's like adding icing to the best running back cake in the National Football League. If you take the icing away, if you don't put a damn of icing, it's still the best running. Yes, it is. Yes, it is. I don't care if he catches the ball or not, but I have told you he doesn't have just good hands. He has really good hands. His hands are at least as good as Lebanon bells and by the way is equal. Elliott runs four, four and Levy on your guy runs four, six, six one eighty. Wrong path because I guess they don't trust Levy on as a running back and. All I can say. He's not that guy. You're disqualifying your own arguments. What did you tell me? You got that law and u z. just hammering right? Hammer levian Marin they'll have land landed the Cowboys. All I'm saying is look at most running bags, have average Hans slightly above and I believe tog or I believe lady, I'm Bill, I believe David Johnson, their hands are Bubba above the average. Then you better put Zeke in their way above about, do this Marshall Faulk head. He said, you know what? I don't wanna play running back anymore. I wanna play wide receiver. He legitimately could've played wide receiver. That's how good he was in that offense. I think if you put him conventional, split him out wide. I don't. I think he'd be just another guy call eight balls Peyton Manning, Marshall. Yeah, because you're dinking Dunkin underneath your clearing, clearing out the middle and just letting him run option rounds like Julian Edelman, you like a king. So that to slots in that offense, everybody completely out and you're just letting them run little option routes. So you believe Zeke Elliott has started out quick, stop start. Absolutely. He runs four, four. He is in extraordinary stop and start art. Jillian element didn't run four with Welker didn't run for four. Thank thank you agree Brown for for what they have that start stop quickness of that. That's not what Zeke is Joe. Obviously, this year my Cowboys don't exactly have a proven collection of wide receivers. They do not have one proven tied in option to throw to not one guy recall. So all the sudden I don't know about Rico can't block, but he makes one catch today at camp where they all say. Nobody else could might that catch. So we'll see what Rico on out. I'm not out, but I'm just saying there's no proven tied in. There's no single proven wide receiver. Watching I trust that guy, Michael Gallup, Mike rookie. Oh, you love you? I do, but he's he's a rookie. Do I know what he's going to do in the lights were on real? I don't know. So if you take Zeke Elliot and you actually add some dig grouse, you add some complex routes to his repertoire that you can call on occasionally just to spread people out and get the eight out of the box. That's what you don't want. You don't want eight sitting in and and just camping in the box. The whole game saying, you can't come in here anymore. Why have you let him out every once in a while..

"Name and but I expect him to to have a Mazda year DeMarco. Murray's single season rush record is in trouble that eight how of the Cowboys now that eighteen forty eight is in serious jeopardy because I believe he'll get somewhere between three fifty. Four hundred carries a season and he'll be somewhere between four and a half, maybe even five yards. So he could easily approach that two thousand yard burying Zeke Elliott is going to be a monster. Scott. Thank you for opening that door for me because I'm going to run through the door. You just open. I'm going to go you several better on this one. I'm gonna. I remind you that we're approaching our to your aniversary undisputed, our partnership. We welcome Ginny, the partnership, but two years on September six. Soon after we launched two years ago, I started predicting that Russell Westbrook would average a triple double for that twenty sixty day any seventeen season and he did. So I'm about to make another prediction. I believe that if all goes well, obviously health plays a bigger factor, bigger role often in football than it doesn't basketball. But if a bunch of people stay healthy for the Dallas Cowboys offense including most of all Zeke, you'll Elliot. I believe he will break Eric Dickerson's NFL single Watson, rushing record of two thousand one hundred and five yards. Eric, obviously a contributor here on. Not like me predicting that, but I am predicting that because it all all the planets have aligned for this to happen this year in the back friendly offense that you suggest. But I'm going to point out that that year in LA for the Rams that was nineteen Eighty-four. Remember that was thirty four years ago record. I remember it has endured for thirty four years because in those days it was more regular for a back. The lead back of the team. In this case, Eric Dickerson of the Los Angeles Rams at that point to have more carries than the team through pass. So he had really hundred seventy nine carries and all their passers and they had three different ones play mostly Jeff camp out of Dartmouth university, which is why he was running the ball, but they only three hundred and fifty eight total passes. So three seventy. Nine runs to three.

"He was not one of the top running back he was not in the top of the rankings at all i had my regular tross off cross off cross off lady on zeke was down a little bit because he was dealing with the dealing with legal stuff but lady on david johnson i'm trying to think of more that was very much last year right when it came to running backs but you know chimera obviously way down the draft rookie mark ingram nobody was picking him yet i mean i want to look i think i actually have a picture of the draft results from last year from our league but this is not a tommy's fancy league podcast is just a fantasy football podcast and we're talking about expectations so as far as the cevers we can rank them by speculations antonio brown is way up there john jay hopkins he might not get the best because obviously he's a have people are going to be looking at opposite shawn watson a little closer say know john hopkins regardless of who him the ball he's gonna make plays his expectations might not actually be higher just basically because of the fact that he's been able to do what it can do with the quarterbacks that he has i mean tony brown has a hall of fame quarterback throwing to him and ben rothlisberger so you got to take that into account downs your hopkins very high expectations michael thomas my him very high everybody else he's he's still sleeping underneath the meyer of all the other great running back early but i think he's definitely top five or at least top three for me goes brown hopkins thomas easy keenan allen is number four antonio kimmel's was definitely number four and then i'm thinking about maybe maybe odell down a little bit further but i mean there's there's someone guys out there that will that play really well receiver position but you know you gotta you gotta be able to kind of figure self out as you go along in the draft also said it's all about value and then it's also all about figuring out who is the most who's the most likely to go off from waiver position looking at some of these guys that i wanna talk about the delvin cook coming back from injury his he might be expectations are going to be as high because he came back from injury so he could surprise patrick mahomes his expectations are maybe a little bit mediocre because in the fact that he's a young quarterback but his my him are very high because i love the fact that he's he has the arm arm strength will have the speed on that team and use that arm strength down the field that obviously having travis kelsey i've talked about this before is a huge huge huge security blanket for young quarterback as he's a big target and patrick mahomes small guy either so you can look over that line zip it right over the top to pech kelsey if he needs to this is a guy who to turn into a top quarterback especially in this league and has years the play another guy who's who kind of gets forgotten because he plays opposite side the versi of that but talking about forever here and that's will fuller he's he's down there in houston too and his expectations actually are higher than you might think because he's going to be single covered a lot this year danja hopkins obviously is going to draw all the attention and it's going to be shawn watson does try and find will fuller on the field and obviously bill o'brien to job the correct route combinations to get those schemes working whether you're going to use as a decoy some of the times obviously going to get him his touches too but we'll be guy my very high i think that the leagues for him or high because he's shown town he's showing the what he can do he's got some great tools but the volume of been able to get the touches hasn't been there and that's something that's going to happen this year and the texans are going to become a very pass heavy team they don't have the top running back some are miller still obviously they'll still try and keep it balanced will fuller my expectations are high this is a good transition because he could surprise people and we'll take a break really quick here we'll talk about some more people who could surprise this coming season stay tuned check out the show it's built on the from ufc two extreme cage by the they got the fights.

"I grew up going to this court watching my dad argue in this court running across the courthouse launda file pacing working lawyers but ad was a lawyer arguing the paul brown federal courthouse there and i just got the phone with a couple of lawyers and chairman specifically when there's a prosecutor at the county level there for a long time bob jarvis and he said i think there's a very good likelihood zeke elliott winds this temporary restraining order on friday which would mean if you're keeping score that not only will be playing week one he'd play well into week whatever may be nine ten eleven of the nfl season possibly the entire two thousand seventeen nfl season now this is why the uh not not to get too bogged down in legalese but the fundamental question is was the process fundamentally unfair that's it and win care roberts the lead investigator questioned tiffany thompson's credibility suggested zero games and there's at least very good questions about whether or not that information was heard listen to given credence followed on the net breeze the question was it fundamentally unfair and judge amos ms antonts hearing that asked the nfl on three separate occasions isn't this fundamentally unfair how is that not unfair on three separate occasions now judges can give head fakes judges can give cover they can act tough to one side to award it the other way they can do a lot of things with the feedback i'm getting at least from lawyers who were in that courtroom is they would expect they would bet that on friday zeke gets this tro.

"It's just one of those situations this incredibly unfortunate i'm not surprised at the arbitrate upheld a decision because the arbitrator his job howard henderson's job wasn't to define guilt or innocence on a pot of ezekiel elliott as the as the lawyers on zeke you'll elliott's side are trying to proclaim his responsibility and job was to basically decide whether rajic goodell in the league office acted arbitrarily a capricious on in in a in a certain fashion as it pertains to the suspension in the bottom line is that according to the laws of the c b a which the players association agreed to roger goodell was perfectly within his right to make this decision and there was no other real decision that the arbitrator could make so the judges will come on and it will become a federal issue and we'll hear from the courts i think all of that is predictable and they'll lambaste the nba the nfl they'll talk about roger goodell and how he stepped beyond the bounds and all this other stuff but in the end they will be just like almost everyone else they will they will relent and submit to the collective bargaining agreement because if they don't they will open a pandora's box with everybody will get to flood the court with these cases and they are not going to allow that to happen zeke he'll elliott will serve six games no matter what the hell he does a you could put money on that.
