Joe Biden Issues First Veto, Rejecting Attempt to Block ESG Effort
"So this is from the associated depress president Joe Biden issued the first veto of his presidency today In an early sign of shifting White House relations with the new Congress since Republicans took control of the House in January a move that serves as a prelude to bigger battles with GOP lawmakers when government spending in the nation's debt limit These run on sentences are unbelievable But yes Biden sought to kill a Republican authored measure that would ban the government from considering environmental impacts or potential lawsuits when making investment decisions for people's retirement plans Excuse me Environmental impacts of potential lawsuits that goes well beyond that And so here's the associated depress who wrote this damn thing Zeke Miller and Kim Two propagandists for the left In a video released by The White House Biden said he vetoed the measure because it put at risk the retirement savings of individuals across the country Let me tell you something about the use of language here The use or should I say the abuse of language is something that has been perfected by totalitarian regimes Whether national socialists straight up fascists marxists any combination thereof So the plane understanding of words is changed In addition new words are created New words are created And the whole goal here is to promote propaganda and ideology and to brainwash you So the language is dumbed down The language is changed Words lose their meaning where it's changed their meaning

"A guest offers you one piece of advice. Ideally something you can try right now if you want. My name is Z Nicholson. I guess you could say I'm sort of a comedian first improviser or writer, actor, yeah, that's, I guess that's me. I think sometimes the thing that creative people struggle with is finding structure to their creative work, and I'm a big proponent of that. I was a track athlete in college and I realized that I sort of like approach my creative writing and acting almost in a similar way that I did to doing track and field, which was like kind of a little bit every day always and, you know, I know there are many talented people out there that I think. Unfortunately, sort of like lack the again, I just kind of personal structure for lack of a better word to frame it that kind of results in a lot of projects that have finished and I think if you're kind of used to being like, I always show up and I do even like 45 minutes or an hour every day, like it helps you sort of push through that inevitable valley of despair where you're like, this sucks, this will never get done. I hate this thing that I'm working on. Just kind of like having that built in consistency is really key to getting things done. For folks who haven't imposed that kind of structure on themselves yet, like what's a good place to start? Yeah. So I'm a big proponent of taking classes. I love taking classes, even I've been writing professionally for a few years now, but I will still take writing classes if I'm, you know, working on a movie idea that I kind of want to get off the ground, I'll take a movie writing workshop and inevitably that sort of structure of like, okay, I've painted whatever little amount of money to take this online class like that's gonna force me to sort of like put in a few hours and kind of get the project jump started. And I don't know for me at least like, you know, doing high school and college, I think I got used to that. Kind of academic structure. And I think, yeah, a lot of people get to the point in their careers and whatever career they do, whether they're like, I'm some level of expert in this. I don't need to continue to learn about this, but I think you can always learn about it and also forcing yourself to go learn about it is just building in that structure for yourself. So that's a big one that I find that I still do. I think also people get a little bit caught up in I think like space is really important to especially in the pandemic, I was finding that it was challenging to have my room also be the place where I work and eat and watch Netflix and then trying to write in here. Sometimes is really hard. And so what I would do is just take my computer and go sit at a park bench and yeah lo and behold inevitably the second you just shift your energetic kind of like spatial relation like things will start to flow. Big part of that also is like leaving your phone in the car is really good too. So yeah, if I'm kind of trying to get something going, I'll be like, all right, let me just go do 45 minutes or an hour. Leave my phone in the car. If nothing comes, that's fine, but yeah, you'd be surprised how quickly removing those distractions and switching your space will really tend to make things flow. "You feel an obligation internally to drive the the more expensive one because you spent the money. It's illogical it goes against the sunk cost fallacy. But there is something in you even. If you enjoy driving the other car more that pushes you drive the more expensive one because you spent the money. Here's why. I say that zeke contracts obviously bad contract but that is cost at this point. That's done. I think it's going to be hard for the cowboys to give tony pollard. Running back one carries because they spent all this money on zeke. Even they're both. They're the cap. It's the same this year. Who whether zeke. It's thirty carries or zero carey's in logically what a robot would do is what gives us the best. What a human being will do is feel pressure to give the mo- give the ball to the expensive guy because you spent the money and i think that's a problem for you. I think it's a real well and also it's why i give great credit to steve time the arizona general manager. Gmc will stick with a quarterback like mitchell trubisky in chicago ryan pace it because he drafted him. Steve time acknowledged. Yeah i worked on that one and in one year fire the coach and wheaton essentially fired the quarterback that doesn't happen ever in the national rally league ever and the another team that won a super bowl because of it and they didn't even wait a year was your seahawks. You're seahawks but the seahawks famously. They they it was very difficult to spend that money on matt. Flynn and then say you're not playing but it is logical the is spent. that is gone. Now you just gotta play. who's better. this is what i've never understood and this again like i'm not. I'm not breaking the psychological ground here but people. And i'm sure you've known people like this that by theater tickets a month in advance. Yeah and the day of dread going don't want to go are miserable about going and go anyway and the answer is while i paid for. Will you pay. that's gone. You already paid for them now. you should do. What makes you happy. The money doesn't come back to you and sports teams have a big problem with this huge problem with recognizing that money is spent. That is a separate thing now. We must do what is best for us moving forward and i think for the cowboys. It's going to be a problem. I told you. I was gonna take the car in another direction. Yeah i have a question for you because you had a babe. Ruth take that cut through but i thought should have through even more because i thought it was really it was the otani. It was better that the marketing things should be better than bait and babe. "Network if the cowboys win in brand new guns the biggest garbage troll out there be. Lg has to change his twitter profile picture to the blog of the boys logo. Because i'm company man for a week and has to tweet out that the dallas cowboys beat the philadelphia eagles and that he is sorry about that. So i mean yeah. Let's feel confident. The cowboys next four games. Everybody they are one in one. They host the philadelphia eagles on monday. Night football they host to carolina panthers the week after that they host the new york giants and the human turnover daniel jones and then they visit the new england patriots before their by week I have something coming out on this next week. So no spoilers dibs to everyone But by the way the carolina panthers play on thursday night football this week and the dallas cowboys play on monday night football this week so the panthers literally have the longest possible man arrest outside of coming off of their bye versus the cowboys coming off the shortest amount of possible. Rest coming up on monday night. Football so for anyone who thinks the league office loves the cowboys. Just think twice as all. I'm saying but search i'll start with you. The cowboys are wondering one. What is their record at the by afternoon game To wow so you want me to sing the song i see. How does no no. They're they're winning. They're listened than the one that the one game that i feel like you know gives me a fit in. My head is containing christian mccaffrey. I don't know why i disagree with this. I'm not afraid of carolina. He punted on the jets. Thirty three thirty eight yard line last week. I'm not at all oscar. I say we. We do work against daniel jones and we give mack mack jones. The around But carolina kind of. I picked him as a playoff team. So i think carolina gives us a bit. Why why listen you know. There's nobody more optimistic than me. You know that. Why was optimistic. And the panthers feeling about rule. I don't know. I just got a feeling. That's all four. Two is good. That's a good six has a good six game start. No is that matt rule calling you. Tom disparaging his name here. Tom i know you're dealing with that. But when you get a moment here cowboys again. I think are going to be favored in their next. I think their next three games. The cowboys were very infamously favored in their thanksgiving matchup against the panthers when they had come off that winning against miami and the twelve and tony romo was back and actually started his last game for the cowboys but Tom what's the guy's record after these four games. I think this has got a great chance to be five and one. Oh dorian ruis agrees with you ta champion. And i know you were trying to draw that out because you were. You wanted to reason the yell. But yeah i've to me. The key is something out. Seen that i've got something coming up. Not that i'm promoing myself at all but this has been a much more versatile coaching staff and team. They're just showing something they are. They are not stuck in the but they are not Stubborn about sticking with what they think they do. Best and i did a lot of contrast in comparison with the jason garra and and all split some of the other coordinators in assistant coaches. That had that we saw before. Mike mccarthy came and mccarthy himself had a real blunder. I think with mike nolan who also tend to be a little bit. We're doing it my way. I don't care what else is going on. We're seeing the not. Just kill him more but dan. Quinn is showing some of that. They are looking at their personnel. They're looking at the team. They're up against and they're coming up with solutions where that fits. Instead of battering their heads against the strength of the other team. They are seeking out the weaknesses and going for and like it's going to be interesting to see does mica parsons. Go back to being more of a linebacker with kind of secondary role of shadowing hurts. In case he takes off. You know i would not be surprised to see him a getting far fewer rushes with randy gregory back on the field You know it might depend on what's going on with. Thorns armstrong level has an ankle. Issue wasn't serious but there's something that will have to watch practices. go on. i'm dying to see how if they can continue that adaptability in that innovation and throwing stuff like that out there because if they can do that i think the cowboys have strength enough areas on both sides of the ball to capitalize on all four of these teams All i heard was five in one town one in air. You're like cow sitting there in class. Flaking you man's bill Howman we've got four and two negative search over here we've got starts. Things were losing to the panthers. Listen i we beat the panthers. I'm just saying you tell me in a perfect world if the cowboys star five and one do you understand what's going to happen to cowboys nation. That's all i'm saying is that would have been the third game. I would have picked up in a lawsuit. That's that's of these particular for games. That would have been the third one the panthers to me. There are a handful of frauds in the nfl right now. Fraudulent two teams. The panthers are one of them the broncos or another okay. I'm on your side was very clearly not on my side. I mean i wanna win. Obviously thank you. Howman your thoughts on the upcoming four games for the cowboys before the break I'm gonna say that their record after this will be four and to you. But out because losing the panthers. I agree that the panthers are frauds. Matinees howard and i'm not scared of. I'm not scared of the eagles. I'm not scared of the giants. I am worried about playing the patriots against girl. Initially when he. I mean his teams. They you know with tom brady without tom. Brady v very hard to beat when they're at home and the patriots look a little bit better this year than they were last year. Their defense looks better. Mac jones playing not doing a whole lot but he's more efficient and tim. Newton was last year. So i just don't like betting on any team to go into new england and come out of there with a win and i'm just the yeah. But the dolphins dolphins you read a division in florida income. That's the reason why sorry. I mean there's a reason why the falcons also played two bucks tight. Two days ago division rivals starch. The point here is the patriots are a far greater threat. In new england to the cowboys. Then the panthers are at. At and t. state. I mean blow the doors off philly. Blow the doors off philly. Like i think they will. I think they'll blow the fourteen point win type stuff if they do that. That's blowing the doors. You got a low standard for blowing. The doors look at the scoreboard from an outsiders perspective. A thirty four twenty. That's going to feel like a blow in doors only fourteen points. I think it's three possessions that's blowing the doors after in any event if the cowboys handle business with no doubt in mind after this week then then we'll start to get those optimistic juices flowing again and i'll start you know asking where the parade is. After they went in hollywood a common. I i wanna ask you another question. This only for sargus so after the by the can start the cowboys. Visit the minnesota vikings. We'll also becoming offer thereby. I think if we i don't know what. The inverse of a fraud is but the vikings might be the least fraudulent. Oh into team. You can make a case that they could vary. It'll be two in august for a handful of things it's not hard to get them there but narratives buildup and if the vikings continue to lose the vikings are below five hundred entering that by. We've that's the perfect time to pull the ripcord and say you know what we're deeper into the season. We have the extra week we're going to bring in. This is something. I've been saying for a few months since the schedule came out. I can see that. Could you see that that goes at like which talking about this couch team. I think we all think they're gonna win the division but that look. I'm not trying to like you know hype up kirk cousins or anything. But there's a huge difference between going up against kevin mon and kirk cousins in the nfl and that could be a difference of a game that swings the cowboys being eleven and six to twelve and five. I mean that could go a long ways my point i would love to see callum on. I liked him texas. Am and he's but he's also not as good as kirk cousins At least in his rookie year he won't be that would make things easier But i i think you're very right about the vikings not being as bad as their record indicates they lost in overtime to the bengals after they ruled a fumble on what looked like the running back was clearly down and then they got him position for a game..

"We saw a little bit of bradley. And i with a couple of nights. Russia's in adorns armstrong during his state. But mike parsons is a special kid man. We're actually seeing that developed right before our eyes we kind of knew already drafting the kid but the fact that he's so fast on the edge he really makes the quarterback step up immediately and if that interior can get there. There's gonna pose a lot of problems now. I will say this the only issue. I have with leaving mike. Parsons on defensive. Line is that. We're going to get jalen smith again and a lot of jalen smith now again. I've been probably the most critical about this guy over anybody else on this roster but and some of it's justified but i would say i would say most of it's justified okay. Most of us justified. I would say if you could continue to play passable. Football like make the tackles when he's they're getting the coverage when he has to be play decent linebacker then you can. You can mess around with mike. parsons neal. He can kind of move around too. But if you wanna have mike parsons like exceed and really start succeeding on the defensive line. You gotta you gotta rely on everybody behind him and that starts with jalen smith so it worries me as good as michael. Parsons look and as good as he could probably look against philli. And who's going to spy jalen hurts. You know what. I mean like just a lot of things you need to speed for what you're dealing with a scrambling quarterback if you put on the defensive line on monday night. You're losing net. You're losing that ability to kind of chase them around tom. Dennis says the issue is. Do you want armstrong on the field jalen. I don't have to ask all three of you. I know how you feel Lots of joins fans in this building. What i'll leave it at. Dj dot thirty one says good points on michael with gregory back. Let mike amir hurts. Obviously talking about monday night football tom. What do you do here. you have the answer. i would get his snap. Count up and let him play when he's on the field. I want the the the quarterback to be wondering. Is he going to be a pass rusher. Is he going to be an coverage. Ma wanna see him used in both roles enough so that nobody is really sure what's happening with him And and i think the cowboys have a personal mix that will allow to do that using both roles and i just think the only thing i would have changed it. I wanna heading out there more. You only took thirty nine snaps. And he was wondering himself. Why wasn't there more. Because he wants to be on every play. They said he wants to go out. And play every defensive snap return punts maybe go throw the ball because quarterback. He's the line's always hungry. So yes he starving. And i love that about him and i just think they found something and i don't want him to be a clear cut because he's one of those rare guys that can be that leo linebacker i think term hellman. I believe you're a chicago bulls fan. Is that correct. Yeah This this whole discussion has to do with the bulls but Reminds me Do you remembers adrenals. Ilgauskas the center for the cavaliers. Do when simon san antonio spurs fan when the cavs played the spurs and the. Oh seven five dollars. I remember watching again. My dad and my dad was like that dude is huge and he said if i was the cavaliers coach that dude would be begging me to get off the court because i would just have him stuck around the rim. The entire time like just his hands up type thing. That was really funny. Memory that sticks out to me And i think that's how we're all kind of describing us. Michael like that. Like i have my. If he's hungry feed him. You know what i mean. Like if he's hungry we talk. We say feeds him a lot when it comes to see if anybody should be fed it should be michael. Parsons i mean like i wanna see like at the. I dunno at the most famous in the country. I actually think the concept of zoos is really dumb. But that's question for different day but like at the premier's zoos where they bring the like truck of robbie toss it in the lions den. Do that with mica. I mean that's what we want to see. Is that if you. I agree with that. I think when. Mike parsons was in the draft the number one comp. I saw good call But i think. I think like tom said Micheals value now having seen what he can do. As a exclusively as a pass rusher his value now is even greater as a hybrid guy. Is he gonna be keying on the runners he dropping backing cover to see coming after you as a pass rusher is in the middle of the line is out on the edge and i also i'm very excited about mike and i liked what i saw but i would also pump the brakes because it was mostly against a backup right tackle. There was a time where a time when against housing employer. And and he didn't do as well. Against sean slater. Because slater is a really great young left tackle. Shall we have a much better offensive line. So i don't know if parsons will necessarily have as much success as in that same role and then like others have said jalen hurts is a threat to scramble and run so using his speed to contain him Might be a better call. So i think it's going to be one of those things that just based on the matchup each week based on who how you wanna use parsons you can move from all over the field and that's a really nice thing to have Okay nebraska standards a little all. We were all charlie and grandpa floating up to the ceiling fan. And you're like i start bourbon back rate all ended on a positive note after two weeks. Mike parsons leads. All defenders in actually a second among all alleged defenders pash win rate. That's been done yet. I mean it's pretty insane. It's only been two weeks to be fair. i saw our stats and graphic. great friend. great twitter account. If you don't follow it out you know people were having all these takes. This morning said guys. The sample size is about to grow by fifty percent in a couple of days. So that's an important zero so let's see here The cowboys play philadelphia. Goes on monday night football. I think we all agree. This is a must must must win game. I have made a wager in case anybody cares with brandon lee garden of leading green nation on this game. If i if the cowboys lose. I have to sing fly. Eagles fly mixed tape which everyone can. Listen to on the block on.

"Wise at now to make your net bet- better fix wise backs responsible gambling. Gambling problem call one eight hundred gambling. this is a great point. We'll get to the schedule in a moment howman. I don't need you to answer that question. Because i need you to answer a different question The word meritocracy is quite the trigger word for cowboys. fans because it was said in a very Infamous speech by a very famous broadcaster and dj dog. Thirty one asks How come we can't see mary. Takeuchi at the quarterback position with anthony brown. The know we've seen the cowboys kind of relegate late and vandross jalen smith and now zeke elliott to a degree like which is talked about. How is anthony brown. Not being relegated in favor of moist kennedy or somebody else i mean i would like to know the answer. I mean i really. I was a big fan of kennedy when they i signed him. I was bummed that we didn't get to see him last year and then through training camp and preseason he looked pretty good. I know that the have generally liked him more in the slot. So maybe they're just a little hesitant about putting him outside Although anthony brown also corner for a few years before he moved outside this year I think that if i were dan quinn i would at least give me sean right a chance. And then when them. Joseph comes back from the injured reserve. It's gonna be interesting to see what they do with him. How quickly he's able to get back into football shape weather. He comes back and plays but i mean they had a pretty open competition with that Second cornerback spot and nobody stole the job from anthony brian. So i i'm not sure that it's necessarily a case of they. Want anthony brand out there but rather nobody else proved that they should be out there instead. They need him on that wall. Everybody round of applause for dairy dory and rouge for the release. Excuse me for the super chat. Thank you very much story and goes back to the bones. Discussion says bones. I saw this tweet from jeff cavenaugh fan yesterday when this quote was first flying around it does seem like bones likes. I don't wanna say attention. But he he likes to be in the mix. I think bones likes. I didn't bones likes the attention that is associated with holy crap this watermelon. I can't believe you came up with the bones. Wants to have everybody saying what a great job he did to devise the super rare sort of thing and that you know ecstasy and chasing it can lead you down the wrong path in life in general but certainly in professional for possible to me it just he just maybe hanging around jerry jones too much and picking up some bad habits. You know he. He just doesn't need to run his mouth in in the column out time through it through the bus. Yes well i'll talk to doing. Sometimes you know. I i was. I was very disappointed with thomson. I i have a question because you're right but thirty one says that it's a good poll question for the faint. Were you in favor of this attempt or not because we are split here. It's funny that our screens are set up the way they are searching on the proper side of this argument. Tom you in hammond on the other tom. In your opinion. I'll come to. You have an instructor as well from what you've seen because we all follow different people. We all exist in different spaces. How would you say this has been split. Do you think you've seen an overwhelming majority of people have said about it or an overwhelming majority people. Fine with it you know. What's what's your take on the temperature of commerce fans. I think most people are upset. Genius threat okay. I just look at the fact that they came. So dang close. It didn't come close. It wasn't really wasn't really close. Your wasn't really close. But that's like saying man. I had two of the numbers so close. I almost one pale for that. Mostly watching to see if it was actually holding on on the who got thrown into. That's also part of sorry time. What i hated about his response to like you know. I'm not even sure there was a penalty. Do you committed the penalty own up to it. You know like like his. Yeah why howman. You're fine with it. But ultimately the way the letter of the law played itself out he did potentially cost the cowboys three points and he seemingly has no remorse about that. Yeah that's not good common. How you this bravado. I m okay with with with the bravado. I think. I mean. I think john fossil just in general is a very energetic fun loving guy and that's one of the reasons he's had such success with special teams as he gets. His players. excited about playing specialties. So that carries over to his press conferences naturally. But it actually when you go back and rewatch the the The punt block attempt. They were actually pretty close. Cedrick wilson coming from. What would have been the cowboys right side. If his arm was like an inch longer gotten a fingertip on the ball and then wouldn't harming. If my aunt had been my uncle. We're talking about Guy well and then also there is. The issue of it's really looked like kamara was held and pushed into the punter. And that's what fossils referring to you when he says i don't i'm not sure that it was a roughing because if if that hold was there and if it's called the way that the cowboys think it should have been called obviously they're biased but it looked like that was at least a questionable call to where he could have been pushed in which would not actually be a roughing penalty. Maybe how coach vostok work for the league office wants is his days as a special teams coordinator over. He seems to know a lot about that side of the ball search. Let's let's pick up. Let's go to the defensive of the ball. I had i had you got to follow up but starts you get the first crack at this mike. Parsons play also this week's inside at a few different debates discussions moen discourse whatever you wanna call them some people say leave him at defensive ends much more impactful position you can you know obviously have a larger influence on the game there. Some people say dropping back linebacker. Some people say if you don't shopping back to linebacker than you got to rely on jalen smith you're you're the guy was defensive coordinator all of a sudden you can't have any conversations with fossil but what do you do with mike. Parsons is going gonna talk to me about victimes. We're going gonna talk. Mike parsons when it comes to mike. Parsons i feel like you know. Just based off of what we saw last week. He needs to be everywhere. Actually i blew sixty five. Just said that so. He needs to be everywhere. But in the in the interim with with demarcus lawrence out gregory coming back. Great we didn't really see much at a you know. We saw a little bit of bradley. And i with a couple of nights. Russia's in adorns armstrong during his state. But mike parsons is a special kid man. "His on twitter if they've stir as well boys the dallas cowboys are one in one. Life is good tom. You are the one who is singing. So what is the song in your heart right now. Celebrate celebrate my cool and the gang. Today is actually september twenty first so your member you know is the night member. Yeah that would be so. Yeah it's it's much better to have a win. You know the the only downside is that was who was so close that were opportunities to cowboys. Had to i think take over the game. But they got the win in the end You know there were some questionable things that will get to delve into but man now. They're they sit there literally in that position where they have a stretch games coming. Were they if they play. Well start wins together. They can take command of the division. The dallas cowboys will be two in one as a week from today. We're gonna beat the philadelphia eagles on monday. Night football howman. This is the best week following the cowboys since win. Because even although the winds post atkins injury last year were hollow so is this the best one since the atlanta with a week following the atlanta last year. Where where do you put it. I think probably the atlanta game Definitely the best win. They've had since obviously When when that went down. I i thought back that two thousand eighteen season you know when they started out three and five and then they ripped off that though string of wins yes for sure. I'm r amari. Changed everything. That year i bleed blue. Sixty five says the saints win. Which was the fifth win in a row that they had that year to your point hammond on thursday faux pas when they shocked the world. So good job by in lockstep are you. I believe luther. Sixty five you were. What was what was the handle that your last week. Like sexy fried or deep fried sexy sexy for that one. But yeah so so you're saying you might have go all the way back to two thousand eighteen to kind of find the same sort of butterflies. You've been filling this tweet. Yeah i mean. It's been a while since i felt this this gerd and you had this feeling that you're gonna be able to build off of it Yeah i think that's fair. Sturges it fair to say. This is the highest quality win in the mike. Mccarthy era gear. yeah. I mean this. I didn't say the same thing. I said last year when that watermelon cake and the the craziness that was with atlanta and we got out of there with a win me and my brother literally embraced hug and said we're going to the super bowl this year like that. Was that kind of win where you felt like it was going to propel you and obviously the residence history. I didn't say that i did not say that. This year Greg's are on the field goal. Don't get me wrong. Hugged embraced the start. Your family went absolutely nuts but there was aspirations after that it was a very happy happy win and i also turned it into instead of victory. Monday it's now just victory week. I'm taking all week long. And i'm embracing it. It's a nice week and you know the rest of the division looks winnable. You know it would have been nice if the packers would a loss also gone a long way kind of making things go just a little bit further in the direction of joy happiness and prosperity and whatnot. But tom is. Is it me or is there still a sense of measured pumping of the brakes from cowboys. Fans it's like people are. I don't wanna say unwilling to believe but maybe unwilling to trust even though so. Many people are so high on the chargers. They beat washington two weeks ago and dallas went to l. a. And gotta win. I mean what is it about the way the cowboys won. You think that has people unconvinced. The bungles the errors mom Some would may not have been as big an error. We thought and you was razor thin. You know you've got like four seconds to go with a tie game. It's fifty six yards to take the win on. Griggs are line field goal when he struggled the week before you know you. Don't like playing on the raiders edge because one score games just historically are a fifty fifty chance of of either team pulling it out what we want to see as a cowboys. Get down to that point with a solid to score lead and not have to worry going under the the final. Two minute warning. Then you can start to believe in the team. And you have to think that people are still shell-shocked from twenty twenty face all what happened on the flip side. We have to fill a whole lot better about how this team handled missing stars. That was just to me the best part of that game. They were down seven project starters for that game and they came out played their hearts out and pulled out the win. You know tom. I think you bring up an interesting point and people are still kind of connected to two thousand twenty and even if we go back to two thousand nineteen kind of second half and maybe kind of finals. Third of that season was already kind of thrown away. The team clearly. Quit on jason garrett right around thanksgiving when they got blown out by buffalo. The next week against chicago was really rough. I know they had the nice win against the rams in week. Fifteen of that year. Nobody thought okay. They're going to turn it around but then they went and loss to feel and it just it didn't. It didn't really feel right. I think the last time that things were good Are felker might have been the night of the deck hip thing There was october twentieth..

Discussion Simone Biles Mental Health Challenges After Winning Bronze on Beam
"So i just wanna start with a very basic question to both of you. Simone biles yes has won the bronze-medal in the balance beam which is actually an even greater triumph for her. Now considering how the past week had gone for her but professor carter friend zeke. When biles. I made that announcement of withdrawing from the team competition. I just was wondering what was your first reaction. How did you feel about that. What did you think was going on. My initial reaction was of concern. And while i don't know byles you know hearing that For any athlete they withdrew Were removed from lineup. Or remove themselves made me think that she had perhaps encourage some sort of physical injury in the qualifying rounds or because of the pandemic perhaps contracted cobra as we've seen many of some of our athletes not only from the us but other countries succumb to that Then when she continued to share that she would not be competing in those events she qualified for and that it was not due to anything. Physical in real concern began to overcome me and initial thoughts of mental health issues to pass sixteen months with those respective sort of restrictive parameters The combination of postponement of the olympic games wondering what it must mean to be in the spotlight to as i reviewed all her sponsorship ads but as well reflecting on what she may be navigating in the aftermath of the sexual abuse case that she was part of so things became of greater concern and really just just hoping and wishing her well through that process over the next few days

Normally if you would've told me you would warn me ahead of time. I'm gonna send you guys a picture. Zeke elliott with a shirt off on. Now i can't look at this. I need a few weeks but he looked good. Polly kit kat. I thought it was odd to see. Look good oh man about to get cut and then it gets cut. Man is look good. Wow wow i. I don't know one hundred total jumped up. I don't know if you noticed it. After that picture came out super bowl is really. I don't think thirteen no one knows nose during out there. And i didn't say no during say what there was a picture of saquon saquon barkley yesterday to that. I knew that guy had some monster. Legs holy smokes. Yeah what it's best. Yes oh spokes right. It's like harry in the hot tub. But bud yeah works out here but anyway we got Some coach news. Well it's not even coaches. I'll look i just wanna talk about football but anyway. So here's an excuse. Russell wilson says he and pete carroll or stronger than ever their relationships though. I don't know if that means. I like seattle. Actually in the division defense came out strong thick. They're over others only nine and a half. I'm going under in that but got me thinking that the coach of the year odds you can bet a few of these. These are fun brandon staley. The new coach for the chargers is the favourite at twelve to one. That's interesting because it really makes me. Think about my pick like so stale. Could he win this bet. And the chiefs win the division. I guess that's what they're saying here right because the chiefs favorite to win the vision brandon staley favored to win. Nfl coaches floors. Fourteen to one shanahan fourteen. Arthur smith. Fourteen mig new falcons. Coach mcveigh seventeen. Mcdermott seventeen frank reich. Seventeen payton twenty one belcher. Twenty-one rivera twenty wants defense you who won last year is twenty one Let's start it off. I gotta tell you. I like the old man bill. Belichick fan sat was just looking at that. Yeah that that oh he. They don't ever give it to right right here. you're right. Eleven years he had fourteen in to win an eleven years ago but he inherited that i inherited a team. Scott this team of players opted out. I think you're going to give him credit as a gm right in in voting for him because as multiple tight ends for for jones or cam newton throw to receiver. He's got more going offensively. Their defense was top ten last year. The top seven on all counts. If they win ten or eleven games they could win it He could get it now. I also like mcdermott and floor. I think like a winner could be from the afc east. Whoever dominates at division or does well could win it so this is a fun category. Take a shot three or four shots on right especially with the odd. So big but brother. Bry you like mcdermott. I just mentioned him. Seventeen to one for team. That could win thirteen games. I like i do like bella. Check to those odds. Seem a little out of whack. But i i do like a coach that the afc east of the nfc west to win. I feel like those are those divisions are going to be super competitive and tough but now everyone knows how good of a coach. Mcdermott as he finished. Second and coach of the voting last year. I think he was fifty. Four probably shouldn't last year after gone thirteen and three right the l. On i do think though. I do think the bills again are going to be a top two team in the afc. And i can certainly picture a scenario with it in this elongated season that they have the best record in the afc on the football is very possible. So if that's the case if that's the case he should win it definitely especially if they finish better than the chiefs i i mean you guys could tell me i mean i. It's also fair to say like you know. He finished second last year. He had a shot at thirteen to three. And like how. Can you improve on that but i could eat. I could definitely see the bills getting even a little bit better as crazies. That sounds brian. I don't know if you looked at this bill stab the best regular season record. You think the odds are send a one. China want wow. That's exactly right. The mets team high for team. That one game. Yes yes yeah we can time and you gotta you gotta figure right yet. Chiefs bills i guess. Afc get a loaded. Oh i don't know the so chief. Plus four fifty bucks plus six hundred out like that off. Bills tend to one nine. Eleven one at stretch. Evasions garbage oyster ravens. Twelve one right and then the rams sixteen and one interesting the not. The rams are favored to win the division of my reading this right. The rams favored to win division right. Yeah like a slight favourite right but the niners are eleven. One says to have the best record in the rams are sixteen to one anyway. All right we're getting away from the coach thing Parley kid our guy. sean mcveigh. He's gotta be accessible. Look just months months ago. I gave out the patriots As a as a sleeper team. "His wife. Molly in austin ended up having to children. They grew up and did very well. Zeke ended up purchasing some property in woodson on lookout road and they operated a small business. There After the war in the nineteen thirties and the property was later sold to plato. Young who was the operator of young's grocery on riverside drive in woodson which actually ended up becoming a turning into the family young's bustling business. Now zeke ended up passing away at the age of fifty six in nineteen forty four and is buried in black mountain where him and his wife had taken up new residency there in once again. It's it's interesting to look at the court records and the documents and see the differences between how courts were operated at that time versus how operated today and with the pandemic that hit nation in the world that is causing even bigger change in the way we operate our court systems. Today i had the opportunity to observe in madison county this past past week and it's amazing how humans have been able to adapt to the restrictions. Sadder made in in actuality from watching the court proceedings were able to handle more court cases faster. So that's the story of zeke austin who murdered gatty with a stick on sunday afternoon in nineteen o seven.

"Not act like a man of good practical common sense and that went on for quite some time. Another strange thing when you compare this court case and what happened to what goes on today. Is the judge called zeke austin back up and questioned him. Personally and zeke was asked. Did your wife tell you in. What did you do me and dan come up the road together and met george gatty. I said good morning. George and he never spoke was coming from the direction of your house. Yes and i went to my house and my wife told me. She said that george tried to rape her and her waist was all torah. That was all she told me. It flew all over me. And i went out. Was she crying yes she was crying and she was in the family way. Yes and i went out the door. And coming up the road at that point now. Other testimony ended up showing that several of the other men were aware of what occurred. And they were ganging up in ready. Probably to lynch mister gatti's themselves. Several of the men at the river at the time had picked up weapons from from the ground rocks other sticks and they were preparing to pounce on gatty themselves win. Zeke arrived the scene and finished the situation. After all the testimony the entire case presented to the jury. Who found zeke austin guilty and it should be noted that the judge judge cook found a mitigating factor. Which was zeke himself and he also brought this up to the jury which is also unusual. Judge cook said that he had been told by many that all the weak minded translation. he didn't have commonsense. Austin had always born good character up until just a few years ago when some boys had taught him to smoke cigarettes so there we have it. Folks we have the homicide would never have occurred. If it wasn't for.

"One hundred years ago is fascinating. The way the courts were run and the type of questions that were asked for example core elite. Gatty who was married to the murder victim was called to testify. She was asked by the court as follows question. Do you ever go to school any answer. No sir only one time question. Have you ever been to sunday school answer. Yes and then. She is asked by the court by the prosecution. How old are you in her answer. I don't know and apparently she was outside of the vance house and saw the killing occur. She observed zeke confront her husband and them have an argument and she also observed him coming back across the field to the house. He took the break. Stick out of the wagon. Where the handle that goes to the break in crossed back to where her husband was and watch him strike to blows to her husband which he ended up dying for now there is also testimony. That gatty was only struck once in the head several individuals who happen to be close by when it happened said that gatty was struck originally in the shoulder and then a second blow and it was only after zeke austin had left that they approached and found the injury to a gatti's head and of course there was the one blow to the to the shoulder but the prosecution camp existing that he had been struck twice in the head. Now a gentleman name of ed dockery who was a witness introduced on behalf of the defendant was examined for the defense as follows. He said. do you know mrs austen. The wife of the defendant is answer i do. Do you know her general character. I do what is it. It is very good. How long have you been knowing zeke austin. Most all of his life. I lived in the same neighbor hood with him for about fifteen years. You consider him a boy of good sense answer. I don't think i would taking his fancies into consideration. I would not think he had good practical sense. He can't read or write answer. No not that i know of is he considered a man of good sound mind answer i have heard men speak of him as a man of not good common sense. I ask you if it is not the opinion of the neighbors there. He is a boy of not good common. Sense the answer yes. There would be an objection. I would think by the prosecution at this point because the neighbor is being asked to put into evidence information from other neighbors that aren't testifying instead of his just his opinion when cross examined by the district attorney. He was asked. you mean that he is not educated. Answer no sir. I don't mean that question. Do you mean to tell the jury that he is insane or crazy answer..

"Sent the case to the bunkum. County grand jury who issued a true bill sending the case to be heard by jurors in superior court now zeke was interviewed pay disclosed and admitted to the killing but said that he had done it due to the fact that gatty had gone and sexually assaulted. His cousin zeke's wife while he was at work. Now when the case did go to court due to that fact and some other issues that were brought up during the trial judge cook who was assigned here. The case where all females from the courtroom saying quote. I don't see why in the world you women don't go home and get something for your husband's to eat. And then later admonishing an african american lady who had was standing outside the courtroom door with her child dat the bringing of children to the city from the farms was a ruination and that was all published in the asheville citizen times newspaper as well. That particular court docket. The judge had to dispose of twenty cases in superior court before he could get to the homicide case and that's a lot of cases even for on by today's standards evidence that was put into record in the trial included the medical report of a doctor. Seaver who examined mrs zeke austin. Right after the homicide occurred in he found out or it was determined that she had been sexually assaulted. The prosecution attempted very strongly to have this and the doctor's testimony kept out of court in the homicide case but the judge allowed it. Judge cook had some very strong sympathies. For mrs zeke austin and therefore allow dat part of the testimony to come in and a few mentioning by zeke's wife of y. Or what had actually happened to her to show motive some very odd. Things came up in the courtroom. There was particular attention brought by the district attorney in his line of questioning. Which like i said you can pull up and read if you like in which he subjects molly gatty austin's wife to a very bizarre line of questioning. He seemed to become obsessed with weather. Were not zeke. And his mother had eaten dinner before z could kill george. I guess to show some sort of premeditation. Maybe but then it was brought up that at the time of that dinner zeke's wife had not disclosed him. What ad occurred to her at the hands of her cousin now. The prosecution objected to any mentioning of the rate or the attempted rape and stated that it was immaterial irrelevant and incompetent as a contributing factor to the death of her attacker. The solicitors objections generally were overruled or ignored altogether. Now other witnesses were put on the stand. If you have the opportunity to to read some of the court transcripts and documents from.

When that case came to trial it would ended up. That zeke was not convicted of the assault on william atkins because it ended up william acton in one thousand nine hundred five was actually laying in wait for the sheriff who had an arrest warrant for him to ambush him and at and it appears that the gaddi the gentleman gaddi victim in the latest homicide. He and zeke interrupted william atkins from killing in ambushing and killing sheriff so coming to the aid of a third party that ended up being a reason that they did not. They dropped the charges against him now. The same article now. The same article has a very interesting paragraph now. The same article has an interesting paragraph quote. The theory that the desire to kill is hereditary is entertained by a noted jurist in this in this crime. committed by. Zeke austin is strongly cooperative you strongly corroborative of it fifteen years ago. His father amos killed. Henry led furred on prices creek in yancey county and was sentenced to the penitentiary but was later released on account of his bad health. There is also an unidentified zeke who killed a man in mitchell county with a shotgun but was acquitted afterwards. He was killed by the accidental discharge of a pistol. Now these incidents were brought up in court keeping in mind now this was the defendant's father and the other gentleman who shot the man in mitchell county ended up being zeke's uncle who was named after and had no bearing on this particular court case at all. Now once zeke was arrested by the bucks county sheriff's department and locked up and awaiting trial. Of course the newspapers had to have something to publish in print so the very next week the asheville citizens newspaper published an article condemning the homicide because it closed down a fishing hole there at the river where the homicide occurred. According to this particular article the article related quote. The closing of the fishing privileges was made necessary. By captain. w t weaver. Who said yesterday by the region of the boast stress and rowdy conduct of a gang of men who have been assembling at the dam and drinking liquor. This has caused trouble which resulted in last. "Now aim austin are defendant's father was born during the civil war years and apparently he developed a rather nasty reputation. Much like one in vision or would think of. When i think of a old wild west gunslinger accept the fact that aim was brought up in reared in the mountains of yancey county now aim was alleged to have shot a man named henry led featured and was sent to five years into the penitentiary and this whole family story reads a lot like a general hospital. Soap opera appears that when zeke was seven years old. His father sued for divorce from his mother on the grounds of adultery. Divorce was kind of unusual back at that time periods but it went to court and you can find the court documents still on file and according to witnesses not only did aims wife having a fair but apparently she went off married somebody in bunkum county while she was still married to top it all off the man that she married was a baptist minister by the name of reverend. Elijah william morgan they were married in eighteen. Ninety one and aims wife apparently went back and forth between bungoma county and yancey county keeping to families going and it wasn't until eighteen ninety four three years later that aims figured out what was going on in file for divorce and it was about that time period that aims shot and killed henry led for was sentenced to prison. And of course like i said this was brought up as well. As some of the other activity that the defendant's father had done was brought up in court at the trial and also put out in the newspapers. Were great deal now. Zeke did grow up. He left yancey. County went into county and eventually got an employed at the elk mountain cotton mill and. It was there that he met his wife. Molly gatty they were married in nineteen. Oh six when he was nineteen and according to some records molly was eighteen but according to court testimony she may have actually been sixteen years old when she got married but needless to say the time of the homicide. She was married to zeke austin and she was seven months pregnant at the time. Now like i said zeke are defended in this case. According to the published newspapers account of the homicide zeke was no stranger to run ins with law enforcement which is kind of odd because there was no to quote the tuesday morning edition of the asheville citizen newspaper. Zeke austin is a man well known to the officers and one often placed in jail. Two years ago he cut a man named will atkins as they were passing on the street and for some time there was no clue as to why he had caused the injury. But finally sheriff reed got evidence and arrested zeke. Who was in hiding now in one thousand nine hundred zero five. It appears that somebody attempted to ambush. "Talk about a indictment for murder. We'll talk about the state of north carolina versus zeke austin. This happened in bunkum. County superior court in nineteen o seven. Now the reason. I'm bringing this particular shadab loose story up. Is i think this court case and investigation is interesting in that other issues were brought up. There was a crime that occurred. That's allegedly caused the homicide to happen and that particular crime was not allowed by the prosecution to be brought into as evidence in homicide another issue. That was brought into evidence which is which kind of blows. My mind is the fact. That relatives of the defendant. Their criminal history was not only published in the newspaper but was actually put into the court record. So i guess in this particular case. The sense of the father in the sense of the uncle. Come back to haunt this particular young man. So we're going back to march of nineteen seven near the northern buckingham county area of north carolina. Sa- community at that time that was known as martel village which was situated at the bottom of elk mountain road in today's town of witton north carolina. I have a very good friend who works for the would from police department and we haven't had a chance to discuss this particular case. But i'm looking forward to doing so. So chris going to be hearing from soon. I wanna see your take on. This are victim. Or should i say one of our victims is george. Gatty who was being enough with the brake. Handle the wooden brake handle from a mule drawn wagon and he was beat to death. By ezekiel zeke. Austin brought on by an act of an attempted rape on zeke austin seven month pregnant wife. Molly gatty austin you may notice a similarity molly gaddi austin with the victim. George gatty will they happen to be cousins and according to molly and some other individuals at testified george was attempting to to rape her while her husband was out of the house and this incident is what brought on allegedly the the homicide now. The site of the murder was near the w. t. weaver power plant and dam. And even today there is a damn there that this particular damn the original one was been rebuilt and this dam provided not only electrical power later but it also powered the elk mountain cotton mill. That was later known as marquel mills hence the mill village of martorell village and it was later turned into or purchased by an updated by burlington industries and that company was still operating there in my lifetime. More precisely the events in the homicide took place near the dwelling where four families lived in resided in a single large house that that time was known as the old vance house sure of the connection to the vance family or if there is one now apparently according to our court documents zeke and his wife molly were one of four families that lived in that particular house george gatty and his wife was one of the other families. Zeke boston was employed by the mill. And possibly one of the reasons he was living there. It may have actually been a mill house that was available for employees of the company. "zeke" Discussed on Blogging the Boys
"Epilogue on the boys the i was. Espn fox. Sports central texas jumped out with my boys q. And stephen simcox talked about a variety of things when it comes to the dallas cowboys as we always do of course the new helmet rule came up later and they jumped on with espn san antonio on the blitz. As i do as well every friday with james pleasure and jack thompson. Great times to all of these guys on friday afternoon. We put them both here in. Nice one neat and compact episode for you. I out we've got espn fox. Sports central texas q. Stephen simcox after that will roll. Right into james pleasure and jack thompson on espn and antonio's the blitz enjoy everybody. We'll see next week and r. J. joa doors down the phone lines of talk things dallas cowboys and also scattered shoot with a little bit of nfl news and our jets started with the nfl. They they said that they're gonna shop the scouting combine. It's gonna go from indie two well wherever some organizations some stadium cities they have an opportunity to bid on the combine. There's been an indie for the longest. And that's not gonna start until twenty twenty three but do you think jerry jones has got his bid in already if he doesn't I mean they're taking it off the printing machine or whatever. The case may be i would be. I wouldn't be shocked because this whole move wasn't led by gerry. I think you know he jerry already. You know. I think jerry likes the fact that the only team that plays on thanksgiving afternoon every year and so the cold said hey. What are the only team to get the host combine. He said well. That's not fair. And so Jerry wants to make money off of everything. But i think it'd be cool. I think you know we're like we're now no longer a day and age where the combine has to be in the middle of the country all right. Rj let's dig into some real like football nerd stuff here. We found out yesterday. The one helmet rules going away. Which means cowboys can use that alternate helmet so when the cowboys play cues raiders are we. Are we going to see that. Great blue star on it for thanksgiving you now. I don't think it will happen this year. Because i think the rule Twice you have to. You have to submit a change. This different extra ride. I certainly believe that they will be wearing them in. Two thousand twenty two Very excited about this. Obviously for thanksgiving game. The thanksgiving game felt awkward when they wear jerseys and itself okay when they wear color rush. i really excited for a lot of the teams here. I would love to see the eagles where kelly green again I would love to see the buffalo bills. Go with the nineties. Work with the red helmets. I would love to see the tennessee. Titans rock the houston oilers. Jerseys i would love to see the denver broncos the light blue old school uniform and i kinda wanna see some new ones like lately. I kinda wanna see a blue colts helmet with a white horseshoe. That'd be good now. It's funny. Because i i saw that i thought. Oh that's cool. Whatever you know. But the more i've been hearing a lot of different fans talk about it and even hearing you talk about. Rj starting to starting to kind of kind of intrigued me a little bit. I haven't gone one hundred percent on board with the but it's starting to intrigue me so as far as the team goes rj. We were talking. And matter of fact i said yesterday on the show that i would not be shocked at all that week. One the cowboys go to tampa bay win that game one because they always play the tough games they always play them really really close and they have an opportunity to win but two more importantly tampa bay is going to celebrate that super bowl championship before the game. Kicks off and they're gonna be on kind of a little bit of hangover or the emotions are to be flowing from from winning the ring. I feel like that's a perfect opportunity for the cowboys. A steal one but a lot of a lot of fans that i was crazy. And they're like. I don't know what you're on. So am i way off my mark saying that. What are your thoughts on that. I don't think that's crazy. All i think you're right i the cowboys and have a propensity to get up for these big games and then they you know. They dropped the bomb. These games that they showed when rather easily and they've won on the slot before actually the last season That throwback uniforms were allowed in two thousand twelve. They went to new york Played the giants in the season opener and beat them when they raise their banner took place on a wednesday. It was really different And i think you know there's a lot to the fact that you know and everybody talks about tampa bay and obviously you know rightfully hype them up and how they returned every starter on offense defense but it's not talked about as much that the cowboys are also technically returning every offensive starter. Now myo collins did start in week one. But all eleven of their often. Starters were the intended offensive starters in a week one last season. My all got her job got hurt. Obviously that would go on to get hurt and tyrant but The cowboys are basically bringing back the entire group so it makes sense that their offense will have a lot of success. I know that the chiefs got stifled. They're gonna win the super bowl. But i certainly think that the cowboys have every opportunity to go in there and wayne and shut off and then the hype. Were really stunned. The cowboys beat the watch him back in the areas and tom brady. They've never beaten him so it has to happen one way or another rj. You and i were talking earlier in the show about how we both feel like. This team should win the nfc. I should be the favorites kind going into the season. How did you sorta handicapper powering. The nfc east right. Now's we sit in the middle of the offseason. You know what you guys like. I find the idea. And maybe i'm just a homeowner but like i the idea that anybody believes in washington to be hilarious. I really do like i i. I don't get it i mean they. They want seven games last year. They got swept by the giant but they were really really really bad they just less bad than everybody else and so But that being said. I do think that obviously that is really strong. I just don't believe in ryan six patch. I don't i. I'm almost at a point. If the cowboys are i buy a clear mile. I'm almost i. I don't think the eagles are the disaster..

MPs claim it could be discriminatory to have Covid vaccine passports
"The concerns about vaccine passports tend to fall into two camps equity politics vaccine distribution in the. Us is already unequal. Even though racial data on covid vaccine is incomplete. Cdc numbers show that nearly two-thirds of people who received at least one dose or white. That could mean a disproportionate number of people of color being excluded from places that require a vaccine passport beyond race. There are other questions about. How axiom passports might discriminate unequal access to technology for example and there are other concerns for instance if you privilege people who are vaccinated. Are you discriminating against people who might have religious objections to get the vaccine are you. Are you discriminating against people who might have some medical condition. That makes them very nervous about getting the vaccine. So this this has emerged as a real threat and problem not just among republicans. This is a widespread bioethical concern. I did talk to zeke. Emmanuel the former advisor to the biden cova response. He worked in the obama white house a bioethicist and he said he thinks these passports coming. No matter what and that the do have value but all the bioethicists all the officials. I talked to say it's important to tread lightly here. And that's another argument not to mandate anything. Because you're further potentially widening those equity gaps that you alluded to

Is It Safe for Schools To Reopen?
"Zeke emanuel is the crazy brother of crazy rem. He is a doctor. You may recall. He wrote off a citizen's if he were here i would ask him if he had a problem with the policies that were put in place by cuomo and whitmer and pritzker and rudolf and all the rest of by putting covert positive patients in nursing homes. Since he had very inhumane take on senior citizens not that long ago. I wonder how old he is now mr producer because if he reaches a certain age by his own standards a drag on society but he was on the morning schmo show with willie geist which comes from jupiter island or jupiter florida which perfectly fine. Just don't be liars about it but they can't help it. So zeke manuals on there on the morning schmo show and this is how it went cut to go. Where are you on schools right now. I mean the story of new york and other places is that the ones that have been open since the fall or have phased in their opening have been incredibly healthy places. There has been incredibly low. Transmission rates isn't that sort of a case. Study that school opening has been safe and that it should happen across the country. I absolutely agree with you. Willie and i have been on this actually for months and months and months you can open school safely. The data are pretty overwhelming I have argued that we should put teachers at the top that they're essential workers That you can have kids wear masks. It's a controlled environment. You can space them off. You can have open windows and keep the ventilation going I advise a number of schools to do this. And it's been very very successful. So the data. The scientific data says open the schools. You have florida and some other states that have opened the schools. So you have real life data and yet fao. He's out there and we need to change her h hvac systems

Why Carrie Snodgress' Career Didn't Go Anywhere
"But she stayed with Neil Young on the ranch and as you can imagine, she did a lot of drinking and cooking for the men and her man mainly as she told me and she said all she wanted to do was have his kid and be a mom. And his fate would have it. She did have his baby in 1972 and sadly the little boy Zeke was born with cerebral palsy. And at first Neil Young was very loving, always there for her and the boy, but then he began to get distant and he was either too drunk or too high to care a lot of the time. And I mean, Carrie was no angel. She could put away the liquor, but she swore to me. She never took anything harder than an aspirin. Booze was her poison. Then she said, Neil just started hanging out with the guys going to LA alone and not calling for days and meanwhile the kid who was severely challenged couldn't even talk. And then one day Neil comes back and says he thinks it's time for her to leave. So he sends her and the kid to LA and his lawyers begin to shuffle them between all the homes, kneel either owned or rented. And in the beginning, he sent money on time and the kid got good care. And then when he decided to marry the waitress who worked at a diner two miles from the ranch named patty Morton, he just cut ties with Carrie and his boy. And then carry out the sim for child support and all that, at least shit. But oddly enough, his next woman, patty, gives birth to another son, and that boy also born with severe cerebral palsy. And then eventually, Carrie was able to get some work, but it was never really the kind of work she deserved to get. And, you know, on top of that, people, the word was out. She chose to be away from Hollywood for almost 7 years. Hollywood doesn't like you when you do that. You're out of the club. And then sadly, the mad housewife character that made her name kind of followed her became her life because she was not very good in her choice of men. She began dating this musician Jack Nietzsche, who worked with Neil, and also was Phil Spector's right hand man. He wrote the theme songs for one flow of the cuckoo's nest and for an officer and a gentleman. But they broke up in one night, he breaks into her home, and he threatens to kill her. And she told me he shoved his pistol in her vagina and threatened to pull the trigger. He pleaded guilty to threatening behavior and was fined and put on probation for three years. And then 1981, she marries this painter Robert Jones, but that fizzled out after a few years. And she would tell me these stories and she would cry a little bit and tell me, you know, there's not a lot of men to want to stick around with a woman with a severely challenged child. You just make me feel like shit when I heard
Chelsea Coaching Carousel Continues
"Lampard site as chelsea the stevie nicks and don hutchinson here to discuss that decision. St let's start simply showy. Was it fair. i don't think he's fear. No the problem is that we're talking about a club that's not normal. We're talking about club that regardless of the name of the manager regardless of the cv yelich or experience or whatever it may be when you lose so many games You don't get a chance to to get back your way. You may have been before you lose games. You lose your job. That's kind of their immortal. And so frank just falls into the into the spot where others before him. Have you lose goodbye. don't they. Size it in the statement. They weren't saying any particular progress under lampard fair. I think that's fair. I do think though he should not have been more time. Try and get his way out about for me to goodful missile and such distances all full still in the last sixteen. The jump zeke's but there's a couple of performances at the end of last season stall will season not worried that three down against west brom come back to three three sat on in game. Gema chelsea will unbelievable for forty five minutes and fought in southampton that drew dot three three will hang towards the end of the game so this being being games where he got himself into goodful. There's one periods on november december. Where the at the most clean sheets in the league and there was sitting On december the fifth on never had them is titled favorites. I didn't get carried away. And nor did frank on each Will not ready for title challenge. Anatomy bottle molested performance. Really worried may done. thousand tuna. Lost lostock could easily have been five six. But i still think you know if you'll wrote abramovich annual no the board of directors at chelsea. You must understand that. Frank lampard chelsea is going to have a difficult time. It's just not gonna come into legend and tried to call plate while cloth Lots in in a pet quality ola and marino. It's going to be difficult for him so when you are in difficult times. I would've thought. I would shut him a little bit loyalty and more only little bit patients and if it didn't work out in a month salmon chelsea was still in his position then tell them to stop in time and just seems a little bit off. What was it. What was the last straw. Well not not the luton game because they wanted strange when you suck someone to win we even. If it's in the autumn of to hold up in the league for example. I think he's an accumulation of things like the boys of said. The results haven't been good enough. He's the manager of the abramovich era with the lowest point tally per game again which is just not good enough. It's not good enough the performances that they've put the way they played no identity and we at the end of january. Now no patterns of plano star. There's nothing you can see really in the game. They played too many defeats sunday in the last six weeks and i think he also pays the difficult relationship behind with marina. Grownups difficult relationship that he had some of the dressing room. Certainly the fight. That tim of hobbies have failed so far to establish themselves in. That team is also on him. He can argue that he wanted can ride. I didn't think the team was balanced. He needed a bit more time. Whatever excuses he can come up with. I think overall is just not good enough and and we've seen in the past sake managers who've won great things like marino konchalovsky and keeping some like sorry like to finish the season and finished with with with a trophy as well for he must have. It was the right time to change and to bring much to what you don. I'm not hearing of drought. Jody morris a texas I wouldn't i wouldn't bombard the Text because a frat will be hutton. And so so. We'll jody morris But front knows. I think he's he said dot stipends not nice disappointed in raleigh saw. I'm not just go back to the bigger picture dot unless i'm naive. When you see other gonna solve show on your say mccullough frontline pod come into the league expected to win the premier league. Expect to get close to wouldn't jump. His legs latte is so difficult and you say we'll all these. I mean. this guy was going to be cycling. They when they failed to qualify for the last sixteen of the jump zig and went out ridiculously early on bodily as well or not. it was under pressure. Walk two months ago. An authentic turn things around episodes slowly. All he's not sitting tilt the league's just think a little bit of patients unfortunately talked about chelsea and night on any monitor patients when they win the league a win the very biggest these japanese. They still pull the trigger. Do you think he's biggest. Mistake has been the when you go and spend so much money on attacking players and you come to the halfway stage of the season. Nobody knows what your front four is going to be. Then i think. I if i'm looking at that from their point of view swirl ho ho long do we give this guy t saw how we're going to go forward because right now you've probably got what seven or eight players vying for four squats and we have had every single combination and we still don't know come come saturday afternoon. Who's going to. Who's going to step forward and plan that front force. Or i would suggest that's been his biggest mistake.
Zcoin: Looking After The Community With Reuben Yap
"Let's start off with you. Know for viewers. What exactly is a z coin. There's a lot of privacy. Focused crypto currencies out there. Different types of token people are sometimes confused between the differences. So you know how long has z coin been out and what exactly is some of the benefits you can do it. Right so Zeke hainan Main in two thousand sixteen. I think probably in the work of oil probably sought bali one and a half years before that. can be launching the twentieth of september. Two thousand sixteen so we can just post office having Just like i mean upper months ago. So that's really exciting and what we do in z. Coin that we really really belief in the importance of a ripple that is uncensored book and private because we feel that if you want to have an ought to ought to the financial system in asked to be both Private and or it to be uncensored in unseasonable privacy's also asked important As well especially with bitcoin now you know every single from sexton is is kind of recalled. The payments lee on the blockchain barry single movement of a coin is traceable promise in inception and i think you know what we do to provide privacy's we allow people to actually destroy the coins and at any time in the future to regain them for brand new ones with no previous transcendent history. It's almost wiping all the transaction history and getting fresh virgin coins and that's the crux of technology. And we've used this being the all. This technology is kind of homegrown is not a faulk of something else and we do have independent research and we probably can talk a bit more about that later. Yeah yeah that's really really interesting to hear. I think that's one of the things that that is unique. You know i've i've read a lot about even for the employees in internal stakeholders developers. Will you all offer a burning redeem different privacy models at y'all have switched recently and You know one thing that maybe you could talk about. Is i heard that you all kind of bitch. The founders reward and you increase development for funding post having or at least. That's what your plans are. So why did you take this approach. As opposed to other protocols out there that still do keep that founder reward into the protocol. It seems that you all are working hard to support the community. Keep them happy. I think he's a balanced right. I mean on the one hand you know people unfortunately see founder words and stuff like that. It's a formal and reaching and reaching the faltas or the initial investors. And they don't see as like a peel community project by the same time. I mean realistically except for very few handful of of really really projecting even those suffering for funding You expect of like development improvements on almost like a donation basis is also very difficult. I mean you know you take a look at a bitcoin. Right it's funded by you. Know a lot of funds but it d- may be pursuing their own interests. Even someone like lou dash junior. He couldn't get funding. He's been like a call developer for so long and he he's like i need the final edition of what because the on enough. I mean bitcoin is like the biggest cryptocurrency and dean of having problems. Funding green itself has a green another privacy. Coined the ailsa struggling You know they have the handful of programmers and very reliant on on donations that may or may not continue coming along. And that's a really bad way to attract allen who want job stability and things like that right. I mean that's something to be expected of. You wanna try thailand. You have to be able to pay them

Cowboys vs. Eagles score: Michael Gallup leads aerial assault against Philadelphia, keeps Dallas alive in NFC East
"Dallas cowboys ended the philadelphia eagles season on sunday afternoon at. At and t. stadium. That's right the eagles now with only four wins with only one game left even though the cowboys will need some help from them. The philadelphia eagles are officially done. And we'll have to look forward to two thousand and twenty one when their quarterback will be jalen hurts full-time or carson wentz. Who knows there's a lot to get into as it as it relates to this game again so many things happen. Let's start the first highlight to show you here. If you're watching on youtube sean. Jackson did indeed have an eighty one yard touchdown. Jalen hurts finds him about six minutes left in the first quarter. Just absolutely rose. We had absolutely chance. This is the type of thing that we've grown accustomed to seeing. Unfortunately from sean jackson he has gotten the better end of the cowboys for a long time over a decade. Schon jackson has been shown the cowboys now with multiple quarterbacks in multiple home stadiums schon jackson has had success. I'll give it to him that. At least this time. He remembered to score the touchdown and not fumbled the ball right in front of the goal line. Let's keep on. Let's get to some more happy. Highlights and michael gallup who was in contention for our star of the game. His first touchdown was a beauty as the second quarter. Began getting the cowboys. Back in the mix narrowing the margin. Fourteen to ten michael gallup like i said look at that elite camera work from fox. We'll talk about that in a second. Michael gallup quickly got to work. He had a big gain a little bit after a few minutes later. Look at this starting his own thirty five running down the sideline a bunch of eagles chasing him. Michael gallup doing all the work doing all the work doing all the work and then speaking of work you know the cowboys as we all know they like to feed ezekiel elliott. This was later on that possession the cowboys trailing fourteen. Ten and ezekiel elliott. There's no video of this so apologies. If you're watching on youtube you can see our freeze frame image. A looked like ezekiel elliott. Who had a really great game really looked like he scored on. This place is a bad angles from the tv copy but to me to my naked eye it looks like zeke. Elliott is over the line. I think that that's a touchdown. Zeke mike mccarthy did not challenge this. The cowboys wound up settling for fuel narrowing the margin fourteen to thirteen. They would ultimately start their climb back and they're ferocious. Climb back in fact. Let's get to that. Climb another michael gallup touched down here at the end of the first half andy dalton not even messing around just looking right for him and michael gallup again just a superstar a true wide receiver. One cowbys have three of them. Dalton schultz you can see very happy for his teammate. This was a phenomenal performance by michael gap

'There's No Quick Fix For COVID-19,' Cautions Pennsylvania Secretary Of Health
"Going to talk more now about how states are preparing to distribute those vaccines as they become available, and to do that, we're joined by Dr Rachel Levine. She is the Pennsylvania health secretary and also president of the Association of State Health Officials. Dr Levine welcome 12 Things considered. Thank you very much. I'm very pleased to be here. Will you walk us through the logistics for when Pennsylvania first receives its initial shipments of vaccines? I mean, where does it go? How do you keep it cold? What do you actually have to do? Sure. So we're all waiting the meeting of the FDA on December 10th. And then they will consider all of the data of submitted by the Fizer Corporation for the first vaccine. When they issue their emergency use authorization or you away, then operation Warp speed will distribute the vaccine. To hospitals in Pennsylvania and throughout the nation just to get specific is the federal government or or fives or corporation, sending it to the state of Pennsylvania to distribute it to hospitals. I I asked, because this vaccine has to be kept incredibly cold. It's not just like you can send a bottle of aspirin, right? So you are correct. This is an ultra cold chain vaccine that has to be kept at minus 80 C or or Celsius. So it will be operation works speed that will be sending it to the hospitals that we designate now will depend, of course about how much we're going to get, and it comes in trays of 975 bottles. So these have to be hospitals that can Deal with the cold chain and can deal with that amount of vaccine to then administer. Now, the CDC recommends that health care workers and residents of long term care facilities should get first access to these vaccines. That's a large number of people have you decided whether you're going to start With older healthcare workers or people with underlying conditions are only doctors and nurses who see covert patients. I mean, how are you going to prioritize within the priority groups? Sure. So we're going to be developing a decision tree for hospitals to use and we'll be finishing that this week. I want to point out that the distribution for the nursing home and other long term kitchen facilities Goes in a different way. So operation works speed working with Walgreens and CVS will be receiving the vaccine with those two pharmaceutical companies, and then they will be working to administer the vaccine in nursing homes and other long term care facilities. Do you have a sense of how many doses The first shipment is likely to include and how that compares to the number of people in this top priority. First group, so we don't exactly know how many doses we're going to get in the first shipment. So you know, we had lots of discussions with Operation Warp speed, you know, will be looking to attack the end of next week or certainly when they're going to be sent out to know exactly how many doses we're going to get in the first week. And then the expectation our weekly shipments to the hospitals and to Walgreens and CVS for those distributions. I gotta ask a lot of depending here on the ability of operation Warp speed to carry this out effectively And with Corona virus testing, the federal government kind of fell down. I mean, There weren't enough tests. Some of the tests were not accurate. Initially. How confident are you in the ability of this Trump Administration program to get this very difficult job done? We have heard directly from General Purna. You know, we have confidence in them, but I'm sure it will be a significant logistical challenge. This has to occur throughout the United States, all at the same time to all of the states, the territories. And then some specific large cities. And are you also concerned about the smooth handoff from one administration to another? I mean, if the distribution depends on Operation Warp speed, which is a Trump administration program will the Trump Administration only has so many more weeks in office. Now, the Department of Defense under General Karna, you know, will still be there in terms of continuity, But in terms of the representatives from helping human services and the administration, we would like to think that they'll be robust conversation. Nation and communication as the administration transitions. Obviously, that has not happened as much as it should have yet, But we're hoping that all those communications will be going on forthcoming. Just to get back to the scale of the logistical challenge here. This is a vaccine requires two doses weeks apart. Do you have the infrastructure to track and time who has had a first dose when yes, we do. But that is a information technology challenge in terms of making sure that we get the right vaccine into the right person at the right time. And then not only the visor vaccine, but the Madonna vaccine that also is a to dose vaccine. We've heard so many states talk about the extreme budget pressure that they are under and this is an expensive undertaking. Do you have the money? You need to do it? And if not, do you think the federal government is ready to provide it well, it will be essential for the federal government to provide more funding to the States territories in cities that will be tasked with ministering the vaccine. Operation works speed cost billions and billions for the development of the vaccine on Lee $340 million has been allocated for the next part of the mission, the distribution and the administration so clearly states and territories and cities. They're going to need more funding from the federal government to finish and accomplish this mission. These issues you're talking about could occupy you for more than 40 hours a week every week, and you are at the same time dealing with a spike in Corona virus cases and having to contact trace people who may have come in contact with exposed individuals, overcrowded hospitals. How are you juggling all of this at once? Well again. This is the public health challenge of a lifetime. I don't think any of us have seen a 40 hour week. You know, in our memories I stand corrected three ways to deal with the pandemic. You can work on containment that involved the testing and contact tracing very hard to contain a virus that has spread this far. For example, Today we are reporting 11 over 11,000 new cases. In Pennsylvania. It's impossible to contact that many people, so we have to prioritize. We prioritize to congregate, setting such as nursing homes and other long term care facilities, Correctional institutions, schools, etcetera, Then we have mitigation. Basic mitigation sets his mass and hand washing and social distancing. And then in Pennsylvania, you know we had to have a stay at home advisory. And you know, we have really tried to recommend that people avoid not only large gatherings but small gatherings. And then they'll be the vaccine those of the tools and the public health to box that we have to work with. When you're dealing with community spread on the level that we are seeing now, where there is so much of this disease and so much transmission of it. Do you have to change your approach? I mean it, Zeke gone from hand to hand combat to fighting an army out. Imagine it has And so the basic public health tool of containment, which we would do for a small measles outbreak or for it outbreak of tuberculosis? That is extremely difficult for public health to do when we're seeing this type of widespread community transmission, and then we have to pivot to more and more mitigation. It's a very unpopular it is made public health officials sometimes unpopular throughout the nation, but they're absolutely essential to try to stop the spread. And then we have the light at the end of the tunnel, which is the vaccine, but there's no quick fix to hope in 19. After Rachel Levine, Pennsylvania Health Secretary and president of the Association of State Health officials. Thank you for talking with us in the middle of everything else that you were doing. My pleasure. Thank you very much.

U.S.’s failure to contain the coronavirus ‘mind blowing,’ colder months will be ‘very tough’
"Everything that's happening right. Now was warned of six months ago. Nine months ago. I i'll i'll say it now. I was on the phone with zeke emanuel back in march and rem annual back in march. Zeke had been talking to the president. I said what are you saying until it said. It's gonna be really bad mr president. It's going to be really bad. You got to get ready and as bad as it's going to be in the spring it's going to be worse in the fall. That was the warning. Donald j trump guide in march and we heard every doctor tell him the same thing every medical expert. Tell him this same thing and of course you had the press conference where donald trump assured us that this would not come back in the fall. Dr fauci said yes. It's going to come back in. The fall and healthcare systems are going to be pressed remembered all the times. Donald trump said we had the best testing of the world. We've got more testing. You see that picture of those cars lined up around dodger stadium. The best testing in the world not even close because he reviews time and time again to implement the defense production act remember. Donald trump saying one person coming in from china and then saying it was fifteen. And then saying we're gonna be fine in the fall. Will the fall is here and looking at this at the lines of people waiting to get a test. It's worse now than ever before. Just as donald trump was warned. Back in march by zeke emanuel justice warned by anthony algae on live television in a press conference. And so here. We are coming up to two hundred thousand new infections a day. Over two hundred and fifty thousand americans. Dead and that number is skyrocketing a shortage of testing our hospital system at a breaking point. This was not stupidity. This was willful negligence. And it's on donald trump and its own. Everybody that's worked for donald trump. It's on everybody inside the white house and it's on every republican that kept their mouth shut because they didn't want to insult the president. Oh yeah now. They don't want to insult the president while he's trying to actively undermine american democracy this past year they haven't wanted to upset the president because well he was lying about the coronavirus and a lot of stupid people really ignorant people believing. That's why we saw. Actually the governor of iowa mocking a mask mandate a couple of weeks before the election but after the election now suddenly a mask mandate is good science. This is willful negligence and it is. It is party politics at its worse it is. And you don't have to take zeke manuals word for it. We heard it in the presence. Own voice on those tapes from bob woodward. He said he knew how serious it was. He knew it was deadly. He called it the plague but he said he wanted to play it down. And as you point out there are press conferences we can roll out the tape where the president would get up in that white house briefing room and say it's not coming back in the fall. This is the worst of it. He'd move aside. Dr fact would say it's coming back in the fall. This is coming back in the fall so we are right where everyone told us we were going to be the differences between march and now eight months. We haven't done anything to stop what's happening right now. The judgement of history is going to be incredibly harsh as bad as it feels right now when we have some space for this everyone can look back on it. Hopefully we get through this rather than later. The fact that our federal government led by president trump stepped aside and let this virus burn through the country. It's unforgivable and it's happening right now and if you hear the urgency in the at briefing yesterday you hear the urgency from the cdc here the urgency from the doctors who come on our show. Dr oester home yesterday. Said this is the most serious public health a moment we've had in this country right now since one thousand nine hundred eighteen and we did start acting like it

"A big part of what's lean gander is doing this week is being a spokesperson. Getting the biden. Message out about what they need and what they plan to do. The president-elect as talked about appealing to governors to try to enforce mask mandates it. Do you think those would make a difference because there are places like new york. Where you and i both live where those are in place and yet we've got big outbreaks in different communities. Well i think the key is that one how enforceable is a mandate to who is issuing the mandate. Is it somebody that these communities respect. Believe trust and i think that makes a national mandate both enforcement issues as well as the trust shoes very challenging. I do think you know a mandate coming from a governor. For example governor of south dakota that would be taken very differently would be received very differently by people in south dakota. Then if the president were issuing that same mandate should we have a national testing plan or has the boat sailed on that already so the current administration has actively discouraged. Testing has said oh. We're testing too much. That is definitely not what you're going to hear under the new administration if anything you're going to see a massive ramping up of testing and really trying especially in communities of color that have been really hard hit to make sure we have much better equity in access. But who's who's responsible for that. Is that this sort of patchwork we've got now of some state some cities. Some urgent cares or is it the federal government saying okay. We're doing widespread testing. Yeah this is the place where you're going to see. The federal government really stepping in one of the places where they could have a real impact is invoking the defense production act that would mean the federal government could compel manufacturers to crank up production. President trump has done this to a limited degree but the biden team wants to use the law. More broadly both with respect to personal protective equipment as well as scaling up production of test kits. So i i really do think we need a national plan here and that will include testing Not just people who have symptoms but people who have no symptoms expanding testing and encouraging mask. Mandates are things president-elect biden could do once. He takes office in january. That's two months from now. Normally an incoming administration would be getting information from the outgoing one. But selene says that's not happening. How much does president. Trump's refusal to concede and this sort of official transition being stuck in limbo. How much does that get in your way. Well that's a huge problem. We know historically that transitions are real period of vulnerability for the country in terms of national security. And that's whether that's a a foreign threat a terrorist threat or a threat like the corona virus and so that really could very well translate into americans dying unnecessarily to give you some examples of the kind of information we want and we can't get company gloves. do we have. How many syringes. Where are we in negotiating contracts with pharmaceutical companies with the logistics of delivery. Where are we in terms of developing databases to track who's gotten vaccinated who needs to be vaccinated. I mean those are things that are in a wait and boring nuts and bolts kind of stuff. But that's the stuff that you need to be able to plan a big response like this in terms of scaling affects nations even if the to really promising looking ones pfizer moderna if they are skilled up distribution. Is this huge challenge. How are you all thinking about vaccine distribution and getting it into the communities that that need it most so why you have to scale up. The this is where really moving forward with. The transition is really going to be important because we need to have a better understanding. What's happening on the inside with the pharmaceutical company capacity. And then once you've manufactured these doses how how do you distribute them in wear and some of that will depend on the characteristics of the vaccines. So you know the the pfizer vaccine needs to be deep-frozen minus seventy celsius. Well most family doctors. I don't know that any family doctors have the capacity to store a vaccine at that temperature. a lot of community hospitals will not have that kind of capacity either. And so what you're really looking at is having probably big academic hospital centers major health systems. Maybe pharmaceutical retail chains having central depots. Where they can do that kind of storage. But that means it's going to be harder to deliver that vaccine in particular to rural areas. So my guess is you're going to see the pfizer vaccine really targeted to urban areas. That have the capacity to deal with what we call that cold chain of freezing whereas the modern vaccine which is Which has less stringent temperature requirements in his relatively stable for a month at higher temperatures. You're going to see them journal. Vaccine probably prioritized for rural areas. And as you know a couple other vaccines emerged from the pipeline. You'll see further and further sort of targeting based on how easy it is to get those vaccines to those parts of the country. How effective those particular vaccines are for. Certain patient populations you know he might have pfizer here new york city and you might have maduna in rural wyoming listening to you. Describe the kind of logistics around that. I keep thinking about communities that have been particularly hard hit when we are talking about black and brown communities indigenous communities Ease there. I guess a painful chance that given the kind of medical infrastructure that some of these vaccines require that they're going to be doubly hit in the vaccine rollout process. Yeah this is something that we're really attentive to an it is a tricky one because there are issues a vaccine skepticism and hesitancy in some of these communities for good reason. And if you say we're going to prioritize communities of color for vaccination there will be a contingent of people who will say. Oh so we're going to be guinea pigs for this new vaccine so you have to address those very real concerns even while you are trying to prioritize because the fact is these are communities whether it's the navajo in the southwest or the south bronx here in new york city is their communities have been hit really hard and continue even now to be. Hit harder So we really do need to prioritize them if we're going to maximize the impact of the vaccines. We've been talking about trust. And i have to ask you about one of your colleagues on the advisory board Zeke emanuel who quite famously wrote an essay. saying he'd like to die at seventy five and that made a lot of people in the disability community really angry. How do you get their trust. I noticed the president-elect mentioned them specifically in his speech how do you their trust with him as a part of this group. Well i don't really want to speak to to zeke in particular but in terms of the disability community ron clean and i actually co hosted a podcast together. He had to step away for biden campaign. Were going to be the chief of staff. He's going to be the chief of staff for for President-elect biden and ron and i interviewed early on during the pandemic rebecca coakley. Who's with the center for american progress. Who is a disability rights. Activist really did listen to her concerns. Were really very much attentive to the needs of that community as well so we are taking notes. We are reaching out to people from the disability community to better understand what policies they need.
