"Zeba technique different from breath meditation early? We have on meditation studio a lot of different types of meditations. We we have breath meditation. Spiny scam we've got a lot of your medications which are focused on inspiration visualization. How is the ZIVA technique? Different from all those types of meditation depending on what type of breath work. You're doing like in Kundan leany or if you're doing sort of fast breath work in sometimes you're actually exciting leading the nervous system where you're starting to clean in wake up that energy that sort at the base of the spine and the whole purpose is to unblock any blockages in that beautiful beautiful energetic channel that goes up and down the spine but oftentimes people use that as an exciting tool. Now there are other types of Brett's work where we use the breath in no way to de Excite and the reason why breath is so powerful. Is that near breath and your thoughts or choose things that are simultaneously Autonomic Nick and you can get your hands on the wheels meaning that you're going to breathe all day whether you're thinking about it or not you're also GonNa think all day whether you're conscious of it or not. The breath in the mind are very linked. And I think it's a very powerful tool now. What's different about Ziva is that we use a mantra instead of the breast and that word mantra? There's some confusion around that as well because in in recent wellness times we've been using the mantra to mean more of what I would call an affirmation so when people hear mantra they think oh mantra. Monday's monster this week is I deserve abundance. That's and that's all great like a mall about affirmations. I think they're very powerful tools. But the WORD MANTRA MEANS MIND VEHICLE TO SANSKRIT WORD MON- It means mind trucking's vehicle and so what were doing Zeba and in the book is that we're giving you mind vehicles but instead of actually like propellers they they act like anchors they go in and they create an induced some very deep healing rest in the body. And so because you have the mantra that is so powerful powerful. You don't need to rely on the breath and it actually becomes much more passive so the meditation portion of Ziva technique is something called Mishcon Karma Yoga which means a union attained by action. Hardly taken leaving meditation t you if people a Montross a.

Antonio Brown lawsuit: What to know about rape accusation

"Latest on Antonio Brown he's accused of sexual assault and rape and a civil of a lawsuit filed by his former trainer Britney Taylor his lawyer categorically denied those accusations on Wednesday authorities weighed in both the Miami Dade and allegany counties Onis jurisdictions where the lawsuit says the assaults were committed release statements effectively saying they weren't contacted about the allegations now. The question is what happens next the newest New England Patriot has practice with the team meanwhile the team and the NFL remain mum on whether he'll play on Sunday against the dolphins the Miss Taylor is expected to meet with the NFL NFL next week sources tell Adam schefter after she gets married this weekend was talk about this and bring an insider Joe Seen Anderson for more so Josina what does the NFL considering in deciding what to do with Antonio Brown well first of all Ryan they have to gather information as much as they can outside of what's been put forth in Brittany Taylor's lawsuit food and make a determination here I if there is conduct detrimental which is very overarching when you consider the power of the Commissioner relative to Article Forty six in the CBA Zeba and then there to also determine if they're gonNA put Antonio Brown on the exempt list which basically gives the NFL power to continue to pay Antonio Brown without so having him practice or play and you know that they did that with Adrian Peterson back in two thousand fourteen when he had that child endangerment charge obviously very situation. That's very different here with Ab. Maybe in terms of him not being charged. It's just a civil case in their allegations on both sides and that's what you have to kind of bet through two different versions right now with people making allegations and not necessarily early charges right now you've been talking to people surrounding the case what is Britney Taylor the young woman who accused Antonio Brown of sexual assault and rape. What is she trying to achieve she even her talks with the NFL well right. It's opportunity for her next week to meet with the NFL right. Now we know that there is a scheduled date although that data's actually not released just yet for her to give her version obviously right now we're in a situation where he said versus she said and what's compelling and no situations is being able to have any evidence is that you can present to really support your case now. I read her lawsuit twice over and there are some things that she has four that she can. You know maybe use in say to bolster her case as you remember when she talked about alleged that Antonio Brown did a sexual act near her without her consent. She mentioned that she told Antonio Brown chef and that she also told her mother. We'll see if she's going to present any type of testimony from then obviously in situations involving sexual assault anytime you can present physical evidence that you have a close or or anything to help support your case that would be good and my conversations that I've had with people surrounding her case. It doesn't seem as if a rape kit was done but there may be a possibility ability that she maintains some of her clothing from the situation right in with some of that physical evidence it can be difficult because sometimes it's hard to prove that whether that means consensual sex we're not claiming so one of the thing here he plays on Sunday. What message does it send to those have been critical of the NFL for their handling of of sexual assault accusations and domestic violence accusation well. It's a very thin line to walk. Ryan because on one hand you want to show as the league that you're being fair to your employees see that being Antonio Brown because at this stage is just false accusations. That's one of the reasons why Tony Brennan said that he's fighting this case so vigorously because he says that he wants to clear his name and also protect himself and future athletes from possible false accusations on the other hand you have Brittany Taylor making a very serious charge that goes all the way to rape and and you want to show as a leak to the public that's your sensitive to sensitive issues like sexual assault so they have to walk that fine line and the way that you you do that is by gathering as much information as you can and that acting to swiftly though you want to make a sound judgment of course we're all seeing and waiting to see what they actually do here and whether or not Antonio Brown played this weekend against the dolphins does seem to thank

This is seem money from capitalism dot com today on Wednesday with Wyan, we're bringing you a private meeting from backstage at cap conned capitalism, conference. So one of our attendees, Matthew had been talking with Ryan about business and life. And of course religion through emails and social media leading up to the event. So a little break between presentations, we brought Matthew backstage for a one on one with Ryan, so he could ask them about creating authentic content for both himself and his own physical product brand. Here's how it went down. I'm sort of, in the pivot moment for myself like I actually my sales were better last year. Like last year. The call capitalism conference, I had more sales than I do now silently under fifty two hundred fifty thousand month, you know, like what? Arto Bor, twenty seventeen to maybe like marches. And then it had like a bunch of problems congress suspended. And yeah. And you went through a lot, your personal last year was was tough eater crazy year. And so, I am in this transitional period where it's like I listened to a bunch of stuff you talked about, you have give a course about like six months as turned like that. And like ours using the first couple talks by building the framework for the brand after our conversation. Sometime in December. We had that there's this product idea that me and my business partner had had, and they're like, okay, we're gonna do this product like, let's build an actual brand around that we could like have values for in like a mission. And like something that we could build an audience for and serve audience, and then release you talk about term audience releasing more parks audience. And I think you're a hundred percent right on that, and you're right in the Amazon community of sellers, where they're just doing keyword research, and all this kind of Amazon hacking and stuff. They're not a lot of them are thinking about those kinds of things. So then thinking about business. Yeah, that is one of the things I appreciated about, you know, your that your course you talked about that, is that, that kind of gave me some ideas of framework for, you know what we wanna do this, since, then we've we started in December just doing Facebook testing for the like, my, my business partners. Really, we were both engineers background. And so he but he's also very artistic and so he. Drew up our logo for the brand we to trademark. And so we started building Facebook audience and since I do a wholesale. And actually, I have a lot of data on my customers, and that's civic niece. So Facebook has cool thing where I can export. Names and addresses of or I can build with audiences. And so, like, I'm running ads directly to the exact people that are.

She says she was angry over snowball that almost hit her head. But we don't have video that exact incident. I just thought it was a little absurd. A snowball calls all that. And why charges have not been filed yet? Well, one major frustration from the storm is all of this trash piling up. It's everywhere in Seattle neighborhoods with Monday pickup days like magnolia. And west Seattle haven't had their trash picked up and over two weeks. You can only imagine the smell the CU of Seattle. Public says Republic utility says these homes will be a priority. "Party goer haven't been. I honestly cannot remember like a really wild and crazy party New Year's Eve like for. I don't know. I don't know how many years ago I had that even before the baby I'm not a party person for New Year's Eve. But I think I think for a lot of people near Zeba, it becomes this big thing that we anticipate, you know, it's like a new year is coming and it's the last day of the year. And you know, you have to have this huge party. It's kind of like maybe how I feel about Christmas like the pressure. I put on Christmas Eve this year is like what I feel a lot of people do around New Year's having this amazing party, and you have to be somewhere as and you have to look amazing. It has to be this epic combination of all the perfect things coming together to create a perfect party. And then right at eleven fifty nine like when the clock strikes twelve you know, when it's midnight. You have to be like with the person you love with a glass of champagne. Watching fireworks giving someone a kiss like everything has to work. And of course, it never works out that way the same way. Like having a perfect Christmas. The idea that I had about perfect perfect. Perfect Christmas made Christmas less perfect for me. Because I started stressing myself out, right? And the the magic and spirit of Christmas doesn't lie anywhere near stress or pressure. You know, it just lies around spending time with the people that you love like, you know, yada, yada, yada. We all know this for New Year's Eve for me. I'm not at all into the parties. What I really focus on New Year's Eve is a big deal from east because I set my intentions for new years in a way that maybe as a. I don't know if it's a I make it into a really big thing because it is a really big thing for me. I am a huge goal setter. I'm a big intention center. I like to really sit down and visualize. What I want the new year? Bring me how do I like things to be? How would I like things to be different next year compared to this year kind of what milestones that I hit the past year?.

"Problems that addiction can bring in. And of course do take away that pain without addiction and hopefully reduce some of the seventy two thousand overdose deaths in this country from opioids last year. So to talk about the medical potential, our producer share attack deductor Zeba Cooper, a pharmacologist and doctor of neuro psychiatry based at Columbia University Medical Center. She came to the marketplace studios in l. a. and here's what she told us about whether avenue it's can reduce opioid use and abuse. We're at a point in time where people are in desperate need for -ffective medications to help with pain. What we've seen in the science in the literature. When we look at scientific experiments with, let's say, laboratory animals and humans. What we see is that cannabis the plant as well as canal annoyed. 's those chemical constituents of the cannabis plant. May actually be helpful in pain. So when we say that that means that there is a novel type of medication that can help with pain. What we also see is that cannabis or Canabal noise may actually help to boost the pain relieving effects of opioids, such that you would only need a very small dose of the opioids, right. So in this way, you would be able to use cannabis or Canaveral aids alongside a very, very small dose of an opioid and that opioid because the doses so small, you wouldn't be dealing with the adverse effects that we're seeing right now. We're also seeing when we look at patient reports and state level findings, is that places that have medical cannabis laws in place? Have. Seen a reduction in opioid fatalities, and there's also been a reduction in some opioid prescribing. And so with that indicates is that maybe people are using cannabis and they're able to substitute cannabis for opioids, are they're able to use cannabis and use less doses of opioids, and we asked Dr Cooper, if there's any more money now flowing into this research? Yes, most certainly. So over the last couple of years, we've seen increased interest from funding agencies to address the therapeutic or the medicinal effects of cannabis and cabinets. So in the past these funding agencies, are these funding sources have been really restricted and they're still they're still hard to come by getting these grants on this funding is still difficult, but now there's a peaked awareness, especially with regard to the opioid epidemic that we need to find alternatives to help. With pain to help with us opioid epidemic. And so there's this need now we need to look at cannabis and cabinets. And so there's interest from funding sources, including the NIH, including state agencies and private donors as well. That was Dr Zeba Cooper pharmacologist and a doctor of neuro psychiatry based at Columbia University Medical Center. So this is all fascinating. Right? And this is why you're hearing so much conversation about CBD or cannabinoid, which I never want to say again, because that's a funny, sunny word, but CBD is what you've probably heard the most often. For example, recently, when Coca Cola said, oh, we're thinking about developing a beverage that's infused with CBD. There's an article in in men's health actually as of Monday of this week Tober I all about a guy who said, I'm a former opioid addict. I have chronic pain, and I'm wondering if CBD will work for me and he said he tried it and it made a huge difference. Now, the question of course is whether there will be. Be an increase in research because most of it is anecdote. Oh, so far only because there just hasn't been a ton of research into whether the stuff's works. Again. I want to make clear that CBD can have annoyed is the non addictive extract from the marijuana plan, which is why all kinds of pro athletes and people are using it. All right. Let's look now at whether it's emerging industry is looking like on the ground. The cannabis supply chain has of course always been around. It's just been slightly homespun, shall we say. But now that the industry is coming out into the open businesses or popping up there formalizing their entre preneurs out there. We've mentioned venture capital earlier and some are looking for business partners, which of course means trade shows and products. Our producer Shera also got to go on the coolest field trip ever to the cannabis world congress and business expo, and she talked to several business owners. We have a production license and. Distribution license, and we do full told processing. You can bring.

"Up. There comes a time when you gotta fight. Everybody got to line man get in the side of the fight that were to specific kings enemies who were ruthlessly killing gideon's people. These enemies were names Zeba and Zao Muna. And so what these two men were kings of median, and they had shed the blood of gideon's people and Gideon concluded that it was time to rob. All. He said it's time to get down individual when a man sees individuals or forces coming against his family. It's a natural response to rise up and fight listening to me when a man sees danger coming to his wife and his children, it's a reflex you don't make you get up and you deal with it. So these kings were ripping off. Gideon's people getting concluded. It's time to get down and a man will rise up when his family is threatened. So the first thing I see is I look at these verses. I see the father's conquest. He had a conquest. I eleven. It says, then get in, went up by the way of them dwelt intense on east of nobody in job behind these smoke the hosts. But a host was secured. Listen, it says he played out to them. He pursued after them and he says that they were comfortable. They're secure. You know, I just asked the question how many dope addicts are comfortable in the community, how many of them are comfortable Hulo somebody back in the day used to be hard to sell moonshine host with talk about you. We have doing stuff in the community day. They're comfortable. And so what I like about this giddy and went and he took your business and her star says that he was home before sun rats. In other words, he was very efficient and taking care of business. So the father had a conquest. Listen in the home. The man is supposed to make the rest of the family feel secure. How are you. In every home? There's certain things that the man should be able to do a man. I love being the man of my house and let me say this, my wife. Let's me be. The man of my house and let me say this to the women. Let me say this to the women. Let me say this to the wives. You'll man got a little ego that is in kost that knee of reinforcement. And you got to tell him how thrown us. And when he do something, whatever it is better you. So did that good. And you will help him. He will go out to house. Don't add will use your tongue. Bring them in, don't. Use your tongue to bring them down. The father had a conquest in the in my house. I enjoy being a big man in the house. We send at the dinner table eating a thousand leg runs across the floor, and all the girls go. And I'll get up because I'm to me and I walk over. Let's see. You see. Fathers have conquests Gideon head a conquest, but I also see something else. I see the father's questions. If you look at eighteen, it says then said he, this is Gideon asking questions. He'd has caught the kings and now they're questioning them. He said, Zeba Muna. What manner of men were they whom you slew at table? And they answered as L art. So were they each one resemble the children of king the father had questions trying to figure out and this is what everybody's trying to figure out today, what's going wrong, but see as a Christian. I understand. 'cause I read my bible, John ten ten says that there's a thief out there. His only job is to steal keel and destroy. That is his job to strikes description. He wants to destroy matter of fact, he is from hail. I Peter five. Eight says that the devils around as a roaring lion seeking whom he might devour a man. I would like to stay. All of the fathers here today that your son's our sons growing up in environment where Satan has been given access to their minds at an unprecedented level. Talk to me. And I remember back in the day, if I found a pornographic magazine and the garbage somewhere I thought I had, I'm just telling the truth. Yeah, look at me like crazy. If you want to. Today they can see stuff on. I mean, it's just every somebody say is everywhere. It is every way and he has access to the minds learning that it's all right to gamble. The government has said, gambling is okay and all this stuff. And, and you know if we don't talk to them who will tell him otherwise.

"I've known Z for almost two years now and a lot of problems revolve around money and the fact that he doesn't always have it Mike with his latest armed robbery charge. He didn't have the money to pay for a cab and that's what got him here. Some people might call him a failure because he ended up in prison. Zeba leaves the system mooned him that he's been unfairly criminalized from stakes that many teenagers make mistakes that will follow him for the rest of his life, or maybe the juvenile Justice system just isn't north enough to help someone like him. Zia is I parole hearing a few weeks, but it seems very unlikely he'll get out. His mom told me he's backing silo, Terry doesn't know what happened. She can't communicate with him and neither can I. All of the kids we've introduced you to in this podcast remain one way or another caught in the system. They've shared their stories with us at a time when they are terribly vulnerable and we thank them and their families for that, and having heard their stories. All I can conclude is that we owe them a lot more than this that we've just got to start thinking in a far more radical way about how we stop punishing and start helping people who do harm to others or to themselves. So in the absence of tidy conclusion, we asked Dwayne to in this for us on a Paul, his what he chose. I. So for bailed in that this poem really comes out of my experience working as public defender in Connecticut lease. When a kid, those the court to adult court circuit court, his mother has to stand up in the paper for him. So the poem is written from that perspective for bailed in that after AVI. I won't tell you how ended and his mother won't either. But beside me, she stood something neither of us could no. And now all this loss loss is all in ruins of what happened after the kid and we should call him kit, call him a fucking Chow his face smooth and lacking history of raisin without promise of a mustache. He walked in a court ghosts unless just called it a colder emit his nappy, hey, may him blacker than whatever pistol. He hailed whatever casket away. The prosecutors ball, hey, was black or Brown. A win has Brown that bit akin to black hair to abyss doesn't matter black lives. If all the prosecutor said, light boys was that they kill the child beside his mother in his mother, sat me and I am no one's father. Just the public defender fiddle footed here where the state turns men, women and children into numbers searching for Phoenix's Mba's. The angels born in the shadows of this break. This boy beside me, wings withering food on a prank of life in broken in this all possible. Because one day or night or morning, this woman in the man that boy does not call daddy fucked and what will be called passionate anywhere else. Anywhere else called love and just spoke in a kid kept confessing I did. I mean, I did it. I mean, Jesus everyone in the room, one of the flask, the boy's mother. Said, this is not Justice. You will not throw my son into that fucking ocean. She meant prison and we were soup Hollis to stop it. And we was to damn tat to be beautiful.
