"Alvin Kamara. So I've, I've read all of these stories. How his, what was his right leg? Was two pounds bigger than his left leg or whatever they found like his, his old muscle distribution was way off and they fixed it. And now he's like this refurbished Ferrari. Yeah. I mean, look, here's the thing on him, obviously. So he's got the three game suspension. He's somebody that has been banged up as well. So we know he's missing three games immediately needs to stay healthy as well. This is somebody who last year had a 18% target share, had seven different games with over a hundred total yards, only six running backs had more five straight years of averaging 18 or more touches a game. But last year he had in week eight, he had a 42 point game. If you take, if he had that monster, crazy game in week eight, take that game away. And if you take that game away, he averaged 12.1 points per game, which would have been running back 24 on a points per game basis last year over his final nine games from week nine on last year, he was the 36th best running back in fantasy on a points per game basis. Averaged under 33 receiving yards last year, a career low. Who is quarterback that was Andy? Andy Dalton, Trevor Simeon. Who else was Taysom Hill? Who else was QBing? Jamis Winston. When he was a quarterback. So if Carr is a little bit, if Carr can just be competent and then Kamar comes out of suspension, that would be the case, right? Plus the fact that he realizes now how to distribute the muscle in his legs or whatever that story was. That's the pro argument is that Derek Carr is a step up that he's, that Kamara has, you know, has regained a step and he gets back to being, you know, because he's not going to cost you the kind of draft pick he has in previous seasons. The anti Kamara argument is that again, he hasn't been good for a couple of years. He's struggled with injuries. He's missing three games. They have Jamal Williams, who was certainly solid last year. They have Kendra Miller, who I like a lot as a rookie. Taysom Hill is always there to vulture a handful of touchdowns as well. All of a sudden you're like, okay, well again, I mean, this is crazy. He's had 400 in the last two years, Alvin Kamara has had 463 carries and he's got six rushing touchdowns in the last two years, six rushing touchdowns, only six rushing touchdowns on 463 carries. But the fact of the matter is, it's just like, I'm out on Kamara this year and I could be wrong, but that's a guy with another wide range of outcomes because to your point, if they, if they've refurbished him and he's ready to go and he comes out of the, you know, comes out of the, uh, the suspension, ready to prove everyone wrong and, you know, ready to show the world he's back. Okay. Running backs and receivers. I always just like going to the pro football reference and just looking at the body of work. You know, he had 16 touchdowns in 2000 or 2020, but then, you know, the last two years, you know, 900 yards rushing, 400 plus yards receiving. And it's that, it's this mystique of, Oh, I have Alvin Kamara on my team. He's fucking incredible. He's destroyed playoff weeks for whoever, but he, that guy might be gone. Cause when the, you know, Hopkins was in that spot. Julio Jones was in that spot. Whereas like Julio Jones, two years ago, anytime you're a two years ago guy, I start to get nervous because football is pretty unforgiving. We don't have like a ton of awesome fantasy comebacks from guys in, in, in football. And that's, that's what we were talking about at the top of the pot about Deshaun Watson. Right. I mean, again, like, and I got another, I know, I got another couple of years ago guy for you. Oh, okay. Calvin Ridley. Tough, really tough one. A year off, new team. I'm not sure I loved him to begin with. He was like one of those good, but like, I'm not sure how great he was guys, but was putting up stats. I test wise, never completely jumped out. He, the last game he played in the NFL, October 24th, 2021. That's the last time we saw him. He turns 29 in December. In 2021, he had a 59% catch rate. He got a career low 5.4 yards per target. He was playing through a foot injury and you know, didn't have great quarterback play. So you can excuse all that. Um, he's going to Jacksonville. We love Trevor Lawrence this year. I'm really excited about Lawrence and year two of Peterson's offense. Um, it looks like from the preseason, it looks like it's going to be him and Zay Jones on the outside with Christian Kirk in the slot. Uh, so he's going to be out there on every two receiver set, but on the other hand, like you've got Zay Jones and Christian Kurt and Evan Ingram and Travis ETN, like there's a lot of mouths to feed and that Jaguars offense along with Calvin Ridley, the hype on Ridley's gone really high. He, you know, his ADP is pretty high across the board and multiple sites. And again, October 24th, 2021, like it's been a year and a half since we've seen him play football. He's 29, but he's a weird one. He's I mean, like, again, could be top 15 fantasy wide receiver. Could be awesome. Could be like a guy that flashes here, you know, could be like Zay Jones, which is Zay Jones had a handful of good games last year. In other games, he just wasn't the guy. Well, the case for Ridley, Trevor Lawrence last year, 4,100 yards, 25 TDs and felt like he was coming on as the year was going along. So a Ridley pick is really a Trevor Lawrence pick. You're saying, I think he's going to be at 4,700 yards this year and 36 touchdowns. And who is that going to, but I'm with you. He seems overvalued to me. And I thought Kirk was becoming more of the guy for them anyway. Like I, I'm going to take a Jacksonville guy. I'd rather have Kirk. I thought Kirk was good last year. He just took shit because of the contract. He, a hundred percent. He was very good. I think Lawrence, like I, Lawrence was on when I was trying to come up with my fantasy ride or die this year, Trevor Lawrence was on my short list and I thought it was a little bit too obvious. So I ended up, I, and I didn't want to do a quarterback again, but like, I think Lawrence has a monster year. I think he's going to be really, really good this year. But the question is whether it's all going to Ridley or if it's just distributed about everyone. And it's, this isn't a great comparison, but like more, like Mahomes where Mahomes has a monster year and just all the other guys other than Kelsey, you know, or just get sort of this kind of works out. Yeah. Well, yeah. One, one week it's a Ridley game. Next week it's a Evan Ingram two touchdown game. And the week after that it's a Christian Kirk game. And then it's two dump offs to Travis Etienne that he scampers. And you know, like it's just, I don't know. Um, but Ridley's one of those guys as well. That could, could be awesome. Could be, you know, not worth it. So how many, how many do we have left? I've completely lost track. You tell me. So Kyle counts nine. So we have, we need one more make or break ceiling floor. Guys, who is it? And then I'm going to give you one, I'm going to give you my number one. Okay. Uh, like there's a couple of, there's a couple of guys that are ceiling floor guys. I'll give you some, I'll give you some nominations and then I'll give you my last guy. Like I think the Andrea Hopkins is on the list. I think, uh, cross them off. No, I think, I think, uh, Keenan Allen's on the list. I'm in on Hopkins this year for the record. I'm in on, on Hopkins this year. I prefer Mike Williams to Keenan Allen at ADP, uh, this year. But here's a guy, Kyle Pitts.

"I think when you look at Laura and guys, all great quarterbacks, a quarterbacks that are going to be great. They all have alpha dog wide receivers. If you think about Josh Allen's growth early in his career, what did Brandon bean go out and do? He traded for Stefan Diggs, paid Stefan Diggs. Okay, now in the Philadelphia Eagles, they go out and get AJ Brown because they see something special in their quarterback. And they don't want to stunt that growth. If you look at what's going on in Jacksonville, not only did they go out and get zay Jones and Christy Kirk your free agency, they also got Kelvin Ridley, young quarterbacks need alpha dog star receivers around them to be able to continue to grow, to be able to be the guy that they all envisioned who you are and what you are all about. Your Atlanta Falcons, and I think you were a lot of falcons Lauren. Thank you for being here. What did they do for Matt Ryan? They went and got Julio Jones. You can't be a star quarterback and go to the Super Bowl without a stud wide receiver. It's not going to happen. Yeah, keyshawn, you got to have a stud wide receiver or you got to have a collection of receivers that give you options at the quarterback position, right? You talk about the Jags or you can talk about Kansas City and what they did for Patrick Mahomes. So in my opinion, Jalen hurts, he proved all of his doubters wrong, and he did it because he was an unafraid to make changes in the off season. Yes, they brought in AJ Brown and AJ Brown helped his completion percentage jump by 5%. He helped his passer rating jumped by 14 points. And he threw for more yards and more touchdown passes, and I called it at the beginning of the year. But for Jalen hurts, it's the simple things in his technique. He went from right foot forward in the gun to left foot forward in the gun so he could get the ball out faster. He went from last in the NFL of time holding the ball in the pocket to throw to 15th in the NFL. He put in the work, and that's why he was able to overcome all of the hate that was out there last off season and prove guys like myself right. Yeah, I love it. He certainly got those extra help with that great receiving corps, but you know, that was the icing on the cake. Robert, did you notice that keyshawn was trying to say that quarterbacks only do well if they get the alpha dog wide receiver? Am I lying? It could be, it could be, it could be. It could be a tight end too, though. It doesn't have to necessarily be a receiver. It would be Travis Kelsey. Okay, and it could be Tony Gonzalez. Well, you know, and I'm just saying. I mean, it could be Keisha. Hey, now that we just know where this show's going today, that means we can say that we're just getting started

"To expand it to most touchdowns, scored in a Super Bowl game by players that weren't on the team the year before. Then you include that venue. Tony in that subset. The bucks at Gronk and Antonio Brown score touchdowns in the Super Bowl. That's two different guys. Tony, Pacheco, sky more at this point last year, not on the chiefs. They all scored touchdowns for the chief. The chiefs in the Super Bowl. Good one. Because Kelsey scored one and Nick Bolton scored one, those are the 5 scores. 5 touchdowns. With the butker kick. To win it. Kelsey, old school, Nick Bolton, 2021 draft choice. Sky more 2022 draft choice Isaiah Pacheco 2022 draft choice, kadarius Tony, midseason pickup. Bolton almost had two touchdowns. He sure did. Unreal. Oh, and they still have my homes. Oh, right, him. He's good. Under contract for a long ass time. By the way, as we stated at the time, that contract deal. No doubt, and just that I keep going back to that tweet from Deandre Hopkins. Where he's Googly eyeing saying mahomes is different. I'm talent everybody. Man. People are going to want to flock if MVS gets a ring in one year and juju gets a ring in one year. He thinks the same thing. Same thing. But then who gets cut, so you don't bring juju back and you bring it up. I don't know. Obviously you have to acquire him and he makes a lot of money. Yeah, it's a trade situation. And their point of view could be, well, we took juju and he fit and we took MBS. He fit and he's put them together. It's not as much as Deandre Hopkins. Why do we need him? I mean, veach can take that approach. Why not? The ground pick? For D hop? Less than he was just a two when he was amazing. And you could say that Bill O'Brien didn't get the market value for him, but I would push back to say it was a two and he was great. And he was younger. Now he's older and great or not as great. And people are going to want to play for what Jalen hurts too, by the way. And speaking of guys that just got added, you know applied for reinstatement today. You've been talking about him quite a bit later. Calvin Ridley. Yes, indeed. It's showing up in Jacksonville to add to that offense where zay Jones went nuts and Christian Kirk proved to everybody that the Jaguars didn't overspend on him. Presuming he does get reinstated. Hopefully should. Yeah, because it's an indefinite it was at least one year. But think about that, rich. Think about that Jags offense, Ridley Kirk, ATN, angram. They're building something. People are going to want to play with them as well. What happens when you win? No state tax to. Hour three, top 5 Derek Carr sponsored Nate burleson.

"All right. Don't edit this. I want people to know them more. Anyway, 7. So in 1617, 18 and 20 one, they all lost at home. And the 8 and a half is high. It just is. It jumps out. It feels like this should be 6, I just feel like I'm getting two and a half points. Let me counter with a couple of things. Please do. Mahomes never lost in a divisional round. All those years he always comes out, he's ready. They usually have to buy. That's a good one. Don't bet against mahomes in round two. He's ready to go. That guy's dialed in. Jaguars. This year, awesome story. We love it. Huge comeback against the ravens to save their season. Home game. Huge comeback against the cowboys to keep their season alive. Home game. Week 18 against the Titans, they pull out this amazing victory and they clinch a playoff birth home game. Last week, 27 nothing, home game. They haven't done crap on the road this season. So they're a young team and the stat that everyone's thrown around is that Trevor Lawrence hasn't lost on a Saturday. The game's on Saturdays, it goes back to high school college. That's all good to know what that means. I don't either. I don't think it's like, okay, that's great. Kansas City, this is getting deeply philosophical here in Kansas City. We go back through the generations here, Bill. It's like 60s was packers, 70s, I'd say it was steelers, 80s. 80s was niners, 90s was cowboys. Then you had the Patriots for the last 20 years. And it's like, the chiefs, what are you? What are you? Are you the team of like this generation? 'cause one Super Bowl is not it. Yeah. And if you can win this one, you've been now home field through the AFC four years in a row in mahomes is just like this guy that just doesn't lose in these games and it has to, I don't know. To me, it's like look in the mirror, what are we? Andy Reid and Patrick Mahomes like two rings. All right, now we're talking. This is the team of the generation. Now we're talking all of us go to the Hall of Fame, all that stuff. One Super Bowl ring and a lost to Jacksonville after losing at home to the Bengals last year. That's amateur hour. We're not talking about losing a Jacksonville. Because I think they're gonna be Jacksonville. And if they don't be Jacksonville, that's a disaster. But I also think rule number 6 never pick an underdog unless you genuinely believe they have a chance to win. But the Jacksonville team kind of slightly just the whiff won me over the last couple of weeks because I think they have a lot of good players. I thought Kirk, the last couple games was excellent. I thought zay Jones who I've noticed the last couple months, but it seems like he's turned into a pretty valuable third guy. Evan engram. Evan Ingram, who I think submerged in a kind of the guy, the Giants fans got really dude, you're gonna do this now. But ETN lattice speed on the outside, which I think they've tapped into. I like agnew, and I think special teams, I think they can make a special teams play, no Cole Hardman in this game, by the way. And then on defense, their defense is pretty good in the second half of that chargers game. I went back and I looked at all right, man, the Chargers, they were 27 nothing. Well, look at their drives. Two for 18, 12 for 57, three for 5, three for 16, 11 for 62, three for 8, four for one, three for minus one, 7 for 37, 7 40 5, 14, 58, three for 5. Jackson was defense was good in that game. They gave up 5 turnovers and still won. And then Lawrence, his last 5 drives, they get four touchdowns in the game winning field goal. He's 23 to 29 for two 53 and four TDs. They had long drives each time unless they scored fast. Worst case scenario, I think they could get it back to our cover. It's a lot. Any playoff game 8s a lot and it doesn't feel like that feels like it would be like the case if it was a wild card game and it was a two 7 7, but they won last week. And they have some confidence now. The other thing the chiefs are 7 and ten against the spread. They're four and 5 this year when they're favored by 7 or more. And in the week ten game, Casey wins 27, 17, chiefs were great. I mean, they were 27 first down so much. They were almost 500 yards. Jags missed two field goals. Jacks had a back door TD, they ended up losing by ten. It wasn't a blowout. I had that game on. Oh, this will get interesting in the field goal. And I don't trust the Jacksonville field goal kicker at all. Josh Allen is another one. He's coming on, whereas the first half of the year, it's like what happened to Josh Allen. Contract year? Yeah. That's what he's having a nice little contract push. I don't know, could they hang around? Could they sack mahomes a couple times? Could Casey do the thing where they dick around? Could that be that India? Oh my God, we're going to lose another indie read stupid game that nobody saw coming.

"Real life after it was announced that Wilson was the starter. Because I think Zach Wilson's terrible. One of them. The same person. Well, he was terrible in this game, but he did this thing today. Where he just threw the ball kind of up for grabs maybe four times and three times the jets caught it. And it got to the point where you're like, wow, are they going to actually win this game with Zach Wilson? But somehow, the lines held on. The Quinn and Williams going out, I think, was an even bigger thing because I thought the defense maybe could have stopped off. I don't know if they're getting neither of those guys. So microwave probably doesn't play in this Thursday night game. Right. He's probably not ready. Wilson's tough. You can tell the team doesn't really like them. I don't know, it's a pretty good team. I think out of all the 7 and 7 kind of range teams. I think they're probably the most talented, but well, it helps on night has a big game for you, whatever the hell his name is. 11 for 23 today. What was your quick 32nd report card of the jacks? I don't know. I mean, he's a Trevor Lawrence's hair is beautiful in the sun. I mean, I don't know if you saw it was very shady, most of the times they lined up. Now, I think I don't understand how some of these average players are just excelling. They're putting up numbers. Like we haven't seen before. And you better cut Lawrence's head off early. Otherwise, he's one of those quarterbacks. I think that'll come back. I wasn't that impressed with their defense. Dak, I was just really down on the cowboys that game. But I mean, this is now, I don't know, he's like throwing like 78% now, Lawrence over the last 6 games. So you can't count them out by any means. It seems like they have guys open. Last couple of weeks that guys opened deep over and over again. I don't know how they're pulling that off. 'cause it's people like zay Jones. Yes, a Jones. It's coming from. So I have the jets as a slight slight favorite at home against the Jags. I went jets minus one, but I got to say I had a lot of trouble this week. Just trying to figure some of these out. This one, you could tell me, I'm four points off either way, I would believe it. So I got jets minus one. Well, I screwed up. You screwed up too, but I screwed up worse. So I said jets minus two. And it's Jacksonville minus one and a half. You get it. Off by two and a half. That's a tough one. I didn't feel good about that one. I don't know if that's as easy as Zach Wilson starts. I'm going with Trevor Lawrence. I don't know. I just don't want you love these teal teams. You love these crappy teal, they have cell teams. If the Jacksonville or Caroline doesn't make the playoffs, I don't know what you're gonna do to yourself. I know. I do love the tail. I'll tell you this. I finally stayed away from a Thursday night game this week with the niners Seahawks. I love the niners. And I'm like, you know what? These games are too wonky. I'm tired of getting burned. It's short rest. These guys don't have time to prepare. People get injured last second. It's always weird, disjointed. I'm out. And then the niners killed the Seahawks. And I was like, oh my God. We both stayed away. It was the most aggravating game. You didn't bet 'cause you went against kittle. You flipped it. And you had kiddo. So I'm gonna also stay away from this Jags jets game. I don't trust this Jags team at all. But if Zach Wilson's the quarterback, it's gonna be really hard, not to bet the jacks. Really, really, really, really hard. Because he's bad. And every jets fan I know despises him. Who's your least favorite cowboys quarterback ever? Mine was Tony Eason for the pets. Well, now it's Ryan leaf since he waged war on me. But yeah, I think let's see. Across the board. Oh, we got a Saturday, marquee game. Yeah. Eagles that Dallas, so I wouldn't say this is a must win for you, so. As weird as that sounds, like you're kind of locked into the 5 state. Who's gonna catch you? What's gonna happen? No one should get hurt. Just don't get hurt. Everybody. I have the eagles favored by two and a half. You are, wait a minute. Where is this? I had wait a minute.

"And they're not going to be relevant. For a long, long time. So one other subplot I had for you. We had two teams go for two and the win. And they got it. And both times in the moment, I felt like it was the right move. Sometimes I don't. But in the moment, especially Jacksonville, they had momentum, there was something happening and I was like, yeah, go for it. You don't want to face Baltimore like Tucker, like just go for the kill. The Chargers won was a little different just because they don't really have tiny. But that Arizona defense, it just seems like they were moving the ball and then that whole last drive. And I was like, yeah, fuck it, why not? So I was down for both. And you always have momentum, right? So that's the big, that's the big plus, and your decision to go for two. You want to consider analytics and everything else, 62%, 44, depends the horses if your top running back is injured, of course it's different to go for it then. If then if he's healthy, you know, if you have Derek Henry or whatever. But yeah, I thought that was great. I mean, it really just strikes down the field for Trevor Lawrence, just everything. One after the other, then a great catch by Marvin Jones keeping his feet in and then zay Jones who had a ton of catches. But I thought I have to say that director of that game should win an Emmy for the way they covered the Justin Tucker field goal attempt because they framed out the end zone and all you saw was the ball, rising and rising and rising. Oh my God, this is going to make it from 79 yards. Who cares? And then you widen out and you're like, oh yeah, no, it was short. It was about four yards short. But that was a great, great moment. But kudos to the directing for CBS, I guess it was, right? Totally agree. Great point. And we have Vince McMahon to thank

"About Mark Barron's career. I remember Mark Barron being the guy that changed from safety to linebacker, but could also play safety and could also play linebacker and then there was like every NFL, like that combine year, right? We were all writing the same stories. Like the future of the NFL is, then it was like, yeah, or just get good safety and good linebackers, you know? Three time first, three time first team all SEC, Mark Barron, to you. Good. That's something. That's it. That's something right there. Yeah. We'll talk about it. Let's talk about a colt's somewhat briefly as Jim irsay becomes just the most the most powerful human on the planet here over the last couple of weeks. Between the Dan Snyder criticism, which may result in the commanders maybe selling after all, but in this case, so Jim or say, it's clear he at least was in the conversation about moving on from Matt Ryan and playing some Sam ellinger down the down the stretch here. Now the colts move away from reliable weapon for their young quarterback. And again, I don't know where this would have ended up, but it doesn't, it doesn't help your young quarterback to do this. But also they have fired Marcus Brady in a sort of bizarre emoji usage Jim or say had tweeted on Tuesday morning. This morning we relieved Marcus Brady of his duties as offensive coordinator. I wish this good man all the best thumbs up emoji. So there's stuff going on here. It didn't go well offensively this year. Went really poorly offensively. So yes, the offense coordinator bears some responsibility for that. You know, I don't know. Marcus Brady is a pretty well respected coach. This doesn't quite have the vibes of when the Jaguars were like, wait a second. Blake bortles is not going to be a multiple time MVP like getting Nathaniel Hackett out of here. We only put up 45 points in Pittsburgh in a playoff game of Blake bortles. No way. We need a better office coordinator, but it just seems like kind of the thing you look at and it's like, I don't know if getting rid of him helps. It just seems like something you do to appease some small faction of angry fans. He's a non play calling coordinator. Like, yeah, so it's like, who are you ultimately mad at, right? And sure, I mean, if you're Frank Reich, right? And this is just completely hypothetical. I don't know anything. I'm not saying I know anything. Sometimes how this stuff works is right? You are the, you were the presenter of the offense. If you're Frank Reich and you're taking things from everybody throughout the week and so maybe what he was getting from Marcus Brady is not good, but like that's also you being a head coach and being like, hey, just, you know, do this better or do it differently or I don't know. I mean, but again, we don't know what's going on. We don't know what the inner workings of the team are. What I do know, is that he was well loved there as of 6 weeks ago. And Chris Ballard loved him. I think he had a lot of fans in that building. So I don't know what's going on there. But it doesn't seem great. Yeah, things getting a little bit weird in an already disappointing year in Indianapolis there. The most shocking trade of the day is Calvin Ridley going out to Jacksonville for a conditional pick that can, look, if it works out, they basically lose like a second rounder. Obviously Ridley is not going to play in 2022. They, as we know, they brought in Christian Kirk, Brandon zay Jones, brought in a whole bunch of receivers who are more like complimentary guys. I think Calvin Ridley is a legitimate number one receiver. As we all do, have a just passion for stylistic compliments. I don't think he's quite that for Christian Kirk, but you got something here. I mean, if he's gonna be reinstated and come back and play like he had been in Atlanta, yeah, this is a nice pickup for Jaguars here. Yeah, I mean, he's a really good wide receiver. I had thought about putting him on my trade deadline primer, but then I was like, I just, I didn't know if any team would actually do it. But then I went back and I remember there was an interview with Arthur blank before the suspension because Calvin Ridley had been taking time to take care of his mental health, which is great. And Arthur blank had said, I think, you know, ultimately, it might just be best for everybody. And I do think Arthur blank actually does care, but like I think he said, it might just be better for him to play somewhere else. So I think even before the suspension, they were talking about trading him, right? And getting him to a new spot. And so I was like, yeah, yeah, I think it makes some sense. If you're the Jaguars, just economically, right? I mean, you're cutting the line and, you know, if you got something there, you know, you get to give it a little test run before you gotta throw Christian Kirk money at it. And that's okay. Yep, I don't see a problem with that. Yeah, the way his contract works out, basically he'll be in a contract year next year for Jacksonville. The 5th year option on his original rookie deal here. Man, there are a lot of people and Trevor Lawrence didn't play well last week. In London and he has obviously, you know, he's made a handful of mistakes in the red zone this year. People are, I feel like starting to jump off the Trevor Lawrence bandwagon at a time when you should not be jumping off the Trevor Lawrence bandwagon. Of all the things you should be buying in this economy right now, it's Trevor Lawrence. Trevor Lawrence's more Trevor Lawrence's. Yes. Two more to go here, Connor. Defensive backs. I don't know. I felt a little bit of warmth in my heart, William Jackson, the third, going to the Steelers from Washington. He's not the player he once was. I will say like, over the last decade, the two defensive backs, I loved more than maybe anything in the world. That would be William Jackson and also a Keller Witherspoon. So as far as I'm concerned, the Steelers now have like prime Darrell rivas on one side and on the other side, like prime Darrell Revis taller, faster, smarter twin brother. Wow. Okay. That's all I have on the William Jackson tree. Yeah, sure, put them in. You know, maybe you get like a James Bradbury type of performance out of them. Sure, I don't know. Why not? You know? I mean, some of these guys age really well. I mean, look at Darius slay. Different kind of player, but it was basically cooked in Detroit, but I love it. It's Mike Tomlin just saying, I want to play man defense and he's going to get to play man defense. But so this is my analogy with Pittsburgh that I was workshopping all day yesterday and didn't get to I didn't get to write it or anything and it wasn't good enough to make a blog. So here we are in the podcast talking about it. But steelers reminded me of your parent, not your parents, but like parents in general who are very set in their ways, but you take them to, like, I remember going with my parents to sushi slash high end Japanese steakhouse. And my parents don't like any of those things. And my dad just ordered like the same thing that he orders at every, it's just like, yeah, I'll take some grilled chicken and broccoli, you know? And he was like, yeah, we're at this place. It's like, nope. And that's the Steelers. It's just like, I want veteran man coverage cornerbacks. And it's like, yeah, but people are doing all these cool things. Nope, veteran man coverage cornerbacks. And it's like, okay, you're gonna be used Pittsburgh, you know? Yeah, get the new Joe Hayden in here. That's right. And the last one we have here, this is Rashad Fenton going to the falcons for a conditional 7 round pick from Kansas City. I guess he kind of became expendable in Kansas City with Jalen Watson playing better and some of their young guys ready to

"Don't know what to say. I need a lawyer to explain it to me until I fully understand how a player who has to still apply for reinstatement with the league is being traded for future picks that are conditional on not only his reinstatement, but how well he plays for the Jaguars and for how long he plays for the Jaguars following reinstatement. I can not imagine if you printed out the actual details of this trade kind of all the parsing that would have to occur. Again, how does he have trade value? Right. What are you suspended for the whole year? He's not in the league, yeah. Yeah, and that's the thing is like, again, like player to team, Ridley is good for the Jags. Like, fable's good for the bears. We're at least good for the Jags. They need speed, they need explosive play, like he helps them for sure. When does he see the field? I guess this is good. How about this? Why today? I have no idea. I'm not playing the whole year. So why not just do this trade and march after the season? I have no idea when he already applied for reinstatement and you know when he's going to be back. Yeah, that was a strange one. The timing was strange on it. The only thing you can say if you're the Jaguars, Ridley will make whenever he gets back into the place, he'll be making 11 million a year, which is like a bargain compared to some of these Christian Kirk's and other things, but I'm with you. I mean, in the middle, at the end of October, early November, you're making this deal for a guy who we don't know when he'll be on the field. I don't really understand that one. Yeah, and I also, I can't help but wonder if Jacksonville, we have no idea what's going to happen draft time. We have no idea where the Jags are going to be picking and who the player is going to be, whatever. But I mean, if Jacksonville is sitting there with pick 46 and they get somebody on the board to anything who's going to fall for them at receiver, some of the great first round receiver slides into the second, they're going to be sitting there and go, well, we can't get somebody else. We have Calvin Ridley. You know, the guy we haven't seen play for a year and a half. We've got hit. Kind of a little bit. They don't have to do this, but I'm worried they are going to box themselves in to Lake next year's receiving room being Ridley and Christian Kirk and Z Jones on November 1st, 2022, which is just not the right way to go about team building. I didn't understand that one at all because my son not a giant Ridley fan. I think he's a classic if he's your number two, you're happy, but, you know, some receivers are in that tweener spot, right? They're a little too good to be your number two, but I don't feel like there are number one. I feel like that's him. The Jags receiver room right now is a great number two and Christian Kirk, a solid number two in Calvin. He's another one. A low end number two in zay Jones. Why? I don't know, but that's how they decided to build it. I like the bikes getting hockinson when he's on the field. He's actually, you know, I probably everyone's had him in fantasy, but he will have those fantasy runs for like three straight weeks where he looks really good. And then the other one that was just super sneaky. Buffalo just does a little cosmetic surgery, right? They went in, they got like, yeah, let me get my eyes done. And just give me a little bow Tex, am I right? They get to get marlowe. They need a short secondary little bit. But Heinz, who if you've ever bet against the colts and the colts are down and then there's like this Heinz quarter where he's just becomes James White in the Atlanta Super Bowl. They didn't have anyone like kinds. And I think he's going to help them. There was that moment. Who was the running back the chief side last year? Yeah, there was that McKinnon moment in one of the playoff games. I think you need those guys. The Pats have desperately needed a guy like that for a couple years, but I like that one. You like high and shield? Yeah, I thought it was fine not only for, I mean, they drafted James cook, who's similar skill set, but these teams that was a plan. Right. I think they're going to be in the Super Bowl. It's like leave no stone unturned, get insurance. If a guy Singletary goes down, if cook goes down, now you have another body. And also special teams. I mean, it's nerdy. It's boring to talk about, but like Heinz is a good returner, a good special teams player. So they're all in, they should feel great about their chances to win the Super Bowl, so anything you can do to just kind of protect yourself from injuries, add a little edge here and there. Yeah, I thought that was a fine move. There's just a lot

"You do. You bring him in and that's how you have to hit rock bottom. Trevor Lawrence looks really good. Yes, that touchdown to zay Jones was in a nutshell. Everything that we heard about him coming out. Why he was great. He had the mobility. He could throw on the run well, and you can sometimes you can watch quarterbacks, go through their progressions, and it was just, it looked like a laser printer, like he's just like, blah, blah, blah, you know, it's very, very smooth, runs through them all. Gets out of the pocket a little bit and then just uncorks that arm. And it's like, it's so fun that we're going to be able to evaluate him now as like a talented player in the league and not as some sort of a puppy that we need to go in and rescue. Like we're animal patrol. Oh man, yeah. And again, I didn't quite understand the hand wringing week one. When they look, they should have eaten the commanders. They were a couple of unfortunate drops in the short red zone away from winning that game. But some folks like sort of getting riled up about, well, accuracy issues and stuff like that. I don't know. He's sort of running for his life nonstop. Against that commander's pass rush there. So it's a little bit understandable. Yeah, he's, you know, he misses every once in a while as pretty much every quarterback does, but this looks like it might be really good offensively. And by the way, a little pat on the back for Christian Kirk and zay Jones, who still probably got too much money and free agency, but look like they're going to be pretty good receivers here. What I wrote off of this game was sort of a self excuse, but I'm curious if everybody else kind of felt this too. The Jaguars are so bad last year that I think the roster got a bit of collateral damage in general. Do you think that that's fair? I think that there were a fair number of NFL folks who were saying, yeah, you know, Trevor Lawrence kind of got over hyped a little bit, like he's not gonna be what we all thought he was at a Clemson. It'll probably be okay. And they'll be able to save him. Just like the rest of the roster, wherever I'm just like, yeah, you know, it's really not that great. So, you know, fast forward to this off season when we're seeing Trent balke, spend the way that he is. And then allocate the first two draft picks on sort of chess piece defensive players. You're like, what are they doing? They're acting like a team that missed the playoffs by a game last year. And lo and behold, now they're playing like a team that was one game out of the playoffs last year. They shrimp bulky was able to see it. So credit to him. But I think that they were so bad last year that a lot of us thought that maybe some of the Jaguars that are good this year were also just kind of bad. Yes, that is, is that fair? I think that's fair. I think it's also fair that, you know, everyone's kind of looking at Trent balky and being like, do something. You already have Trevor Lawrence like now you have to go get people like immediately. This is not once Trevor Lawrence is in the building. This is no longer a long-term rebuild that you're looking at. It's time to start winning now.

"The Jaguars just told you that they think Christian Kirk is worth $20 million. You know what? Teams do with receivers worth $20 million. You try to justify it. You chuck that football animal a lot. And especially it's not like they brought him in to complete the tandem with the good rookie who's cheap. It's zay Jones and Marvin Jones. They ain't nobody else here. If Trevor Lawrence is a good quarterback, which I think he is. And if the Jags line is solid, let's say, you know, good enough to withstand the Washington password. But I believe it is. Not an amazing line, but that's guys who have been around. They have chemistry they know each other. Then Lawrence is going to have time to throw and one dude who's really like an actually above average NFL target. That's Christian Kirk. So this line opened at 48 and a half right now. It's at 55 and a half, so you're not getting the value that you'd like, but I still think a 55 and a half that's too shallow. And the same way that I don't think you're going to see AJ Brown lines in the 60s, moving forward. I don't think you're going to see Christian Kirk lines in the 50s after a few weeks. So to me, Jags money line, Christian Kirk overs, a lot of those makes sense. Well, and you think if this was on a neutral field, what would the line be? I mean, like, technically pick them right in terms of how much home field should be priced. Right. So why is this game a pickup? Because it's on a neutral field. Yeah. It's FedEx. This could be no fan excitement at all. I can't imagine why anyone would go to that game. I'm glad you I'm glad you liked the Jaguars because I was in on them in the Panthers. Those are two very strange picks. Anything else that you love this week? I love the fact that I get to go after schrager. So he makes his cases for the Jaguars and then I just get to shoot with absolutely. He just thought he kind of just thought it was a stay away, which I disagree with. The other game that I have a pretty solid position on right now is niners bears. And the reason for that is it's an extremely ugly game. Nobody's excited to watch it. It's not going to get a ton of visibility. But books didn't know how to price Trey Lance rushing props last year and they still don't know how. Lance currently for FanDuel is over 36 and a half rushing yards and plus two ten to score a touchdown. Those are shallow. He was he had 31 rushing yards and his start against Houston on only 8 carries, and then against Arizona at 16 carries for 89 yards. When he came in the second half against Seattle, 7 carries in one half for 41 yards, who's been over this number two or three times last year, and one of those games wasn't even a start. He just played for half of the game. The bears defense is now this Matt eberflus colts inspired defense, which is like, oh, they're going to play a lot of zone. They're going to have eyes on the quarterback and against those sorts of defenses. We don't like rushing quarterbacks because guys are going to be there to tackle him. And then you remember that the bears have no talent on defense. Number one, and number two along the defensive line are really, really weak. So this is going to be a heavy designed running game. There's going to be opportunities for Lance to pull it, not as a scrambler, but just in the design game, on options on the RG three stuff, the Kyle Shanahan's going to dust off and bring out. And so Lance over 36 and a half rushing yards to me is a good bet, but also, again, if you're looking to build out fun stuff, lands over 30 students have rushing yards anytime touchdowns for it, plus two ten. And then the under on 7 and a half first quarter points, which is another one that you can take straight up is good in this game. Shanahan is horrible on the script tends to be a very bad first quarter play caller. The bears were extremely bad first quarter team last year. Two young quarterbacks with high pressure defense is facing them. The bears offensive line sucks, the forty-niners pass rush is great for the bears pass rushes to the strength of their team, the forty-niners offensive line isn't the strength of their team, and you're looking at a really sloppy first quarter. So you have the ability to get low points in in that regard. That's plus 8 97 on FanDuel. And if you just did niners money line minus four 30 with Lance over 36 and a half Lance plus two ten for a touchdown, that's probably they don't have the same game parlance up yet but that's probably like in the 5 to one 6 to one ranch. So you can do that one too. The thing about Lance anytime touchdowns is that because it's plus two ten, like you're expecting about a 30% chance that he scores. And while that may bear itself out over the course of the season, the fact that he's always going to have the ball in his hands when the niners are in the red zone makes that so enticing quarterback anytime touchdown scores and first time touchdown scores tend to be really positive EV bets over time because they're the guys who are guaranteed to touch the ball within the 5 within the ten yard line. And so all right, I'm Trey Lance, I haven't played a game in like 6 years. I'm dropping back. My first reads covered, I'm past old. I'm scrambled. I don't want to mess up. I don't want to screw up as I first start. I'm just going to talk and go. I know how to do it. You kind of expect that response inside the red zone. So plus two ten to me was I understand why it's there because books tend to not price quarterbacks the way. I think they should, but to me, that's a juicy line. It might not hit week one, but I'm probably going to hit it every week, because to me it's underpriced. We talked about how weird the Jimmy G, bringing them back and how he's kind of lingering over this season now was that whole decision. Well, it seemed like they thought he was out and now he's back and it just seems like the Lance thing went from you're our guy to, yeah, we'll see. And that makes it really hard because we both

"That should have been a category. I'm staying away from that team team. I think the car, I feel the same way about the cardinals. I don't want to bet on them. I don't want anyone on their fan. I just want to pretend they're not happening. Put them over in a corner. Craig, who do you have? Clyde Edwards. I hate myself for it, but I'm bad. You're bad. You're back on CH. You're three. I've done it every year. I'm not giving up yet. The second I read that the cheese are gonna opt for like a more power run offensive scheme. I was like the Michael Corleone godfather three move. It's like, damn you've changed. I'm back. You know, we should have done with Clyde Edwards to layer. We couldn't even make an acronym out of his name. That should have been our first sign that it might not have worked out for him. He doesn't really roll off the tongue. All right, next category is I wouldn't take him even if he was free guy. I'm just going to do it. It's a podcast. Let's make some noise. McCaffrey's not on my team. I'm Jesus not. He's played ten games up two years. I don't think he could stay in the field and he's not on my team. I have crossed him off my list. He's not in my draft board. I've told my scouts and everyone in my war room, we're not drafting him. He is a D and D do not draft. This is how the patriots number one draft too. Look at all the best players like AJ Brown, not on our board. I love high Fitz lab shots at the Patriots, like he's rooting for this amazing juggernaut of a drafting tape. You painted like the last 7 giant straps? Well, I hated the saquon fic and that you were out here just like trying to defend it for I'm still in. I'm still defending it. You caught me at a bad day with pat straps because we waved Devin assassin a couple days after waving. Our two third round tight ends that were so bad. We then had to overpay hunter Henry and Johnny Smith to make up for these two other third rounders. Anyway, it's kind of like the pitcher spot all these clothes after they got dumped and then like a couple months later you're like, man, these don't work for me. It's really bad. The last 6 years were tough from a job standpoint. Who do you have for wouldn't take them if you were free? So I probably would take it for free, but for me, it's Josh Jacobs, like for the Raiders. I just can't, there's no point in the draft he falls where I'm just like, when he had 250 carers a year, Josh Jacobs made nobody happy. And then now he's going into a Josh McDaniels timeshare where there's just no way he's going to make anyone happy. I would take him if he was literally free. The person I literally wouldn't take if they were unwavering is Kenny gallaudet. I wouldn't take him on my fantasy. Yeah, that's not fair. He doesn't count. He's going to get away with two damage. He's already pretty much free at this point. I got Darren Waller. Dan walking. I'm not walking away. He hasn't played all pre season he's been hurt. There's contract situations, devonta Adams is there. I don't love the Vegas offense in general this year and I don't need Darren Waller in the second or so. He's like fake hurt. I think he's waiting for his money to get his holding in. Yeah, that team definitely needs to spend more money on offense and ignore the lines in the defense. That was the wave leatherwood today. I couldn't believe it. I mean, if you just stack up all the John Gruden draft picks and you're like, every first rounder was a miss. It makes me feel better about the drafts. Who do you have DK? Well, I had gallaudet. He's trending towards being free anyway. That doesn't count. The other person I wrote down here is Michael Hardman. I'm just not falling for it again. The opposite of the Corleone. They're not sucking me back in with this equal Hardman thing. I refuse. That could have been a category, Craig. Michael Corleone? No, the you showed up at my door again. Batting your eyelashes at me and I'm not letting you in this time. That's my Cole Hardman. Somehow, we've all had him. He's been in the league three years. I feel like he's been on everybody's team. I've never been seduced. Oh my God. None of us took Zeke Elliott, which I think is an absolute outrage. I had him written down too. All right, high fits. Who's your somebody's got to get points on that team? Talk yourself into him guy. Craig mentioned him earlier. I mean, Michael Pittman for the cults, I mean, Michael Pittman literally has more receiving yards in his career than all the other culture receivers on the roster. Also, Michael Pittman played in the NFL for two seasons. And yet somehow that's true. They have nobody else. Who do you have, Craig? Christian Kirk on the Jags. Oh no. Who else is catching passes on this team? There's Evan engram. At tight end. The other receivers are Marvin Jones and zay Jones. He's the new Brandon cooks. I'm going to pay it right now. He will be the new Brandon cooks. You'll get a thousand yards every year with Trevor Lawrence and nobody will care about him. DK? I'm going to go with Wanda Robinson, rookie receiver for the Giants. Okay. Here's the deal. I'm nervous to get excited about a guy who's like 5 890 pounds. Or whatever. Like I got too excited about Ronda bor last year. You should learn from this. I should learn from my mistakes. I'm just not going to do it because the Giants don't have anyone else right now. They got Kenny gallaudet, who we've talked about. They have canaris Tony, who is, he plays once a week. The most chaotic player in the NFL maybe. We just don't know if he's going to play any given week. Starting shepherd coming off an Achilles, Colin Johnson, who was probably going to take over for Kenny holiday, tore his Achilles. The Rookie tight end, Bellinger, who Craig, San Diego state alone, Bellinger, he just got a concussion I don't think he's going to be playing week one. Who's going to be catching passes for the scene? They drafted him in the second round. Ostensibly with the plan. So I'm going with Wanda Robinson. I really like that one. I debated one day for my shameless Homer pick. Yeah. That's a great one. I can't believe I'm picking forth in this category that none of you took my guy.

"And their division is pretty good. The Jaguars got better, but are they going to win their division? You know, that's actually an interesting question. Maybe the Jaguars could. If Matt Ryan doesn't go great, Ryan Daniel struggles. And if the new additions in Jacksonville are a home run, wow, I stumbled onto something here. This is why we don't script everything because sometimes you have a thought and I think it's we're talking about maybe the Jaguars are the most likely team to go from last in their division to winning their division in 2022. It's probably Jacksonville, actually. If Trevor Lawrence is really good, the added Christian Kirk, maybe that works really well, maybe Doug Peterson is awesome. Zay Jones, like they made some moves in Jacksonville to build around Trevor Lawrence and if Trevor can be what I think he can be and take a big step forward this fall,

"Way to watch college football, I'd be totally satisfied because it is so, so good. Logan writes in and says, hey Zack, it's been a while since I've been in the file, but I'm back to make you smile. I'll try not to make the question too vile, I was Indianapolis this past week, wearing my Jags windbreaker, and every 20 minutes I'd pass a stranger who said, Trevor Lawrence isn't the guy, is he? I'm so tired of hearing these ignorance. What is your outlook on him going into this season? Security is here. We will see if they will find out. I don't know. I don't understand Logan continue says, I don't understand how people can already declare him a disappointment when he had one of the worst aligns in the league. I think we're fine. I don't know. Security is like right there, stopping clearly like checking me out trying to be like, what is this guy doing recording a podcast in his truck in a parking lot? And I'm like, wow, nothing wrong. I'm just sitting here talking. Logan continues and says, I don't understand how people can already declare Trevor Lawrence a disappointment when he had one of the worst offensive lines in the league. Every one of our starting receivers would have been a number three receiver on any other team. And the head coach was urban liar. How much do you think the additions of Brandon share of Christian Kirk zay Jones, Evan Ingram, and et cetera can help Trevor Lawrence out. Blessings from Duvall, Logan. Logan, I will say, I definitely want to watch Trevor Lawrence's film and see how last year went and what he needs to work on, what's good, what's bad? But last year with urban Meyer was a disaster and was certainly not Trevor Lawrence's fault at all. Like if anyone in Indianapolis, if they really think that Trevor Lawrence is the reason why the Jacksonville Jaguars had trouble last year, they could not be more wrong. In fact, if you're an Indianapolis, it's kind of interesting to hear anybody talking about talk smack, excuse me about the Jaguars because didn't they beat them week 18 at the end of the year? Yeah, they did. So I think true judgment begins this fall with Doug Peterson and a better supporting cast. Currently, there's no reason at all to I just think it's unfair to doubt Trevor Lawrence at this point based on the situation he was in last year. And I don't know, man. In fact, if anything, I think you've had a lot of reasons to believe in Trevor Lawrence, I'm excited about his future. So I'm with you. I think it's kind of weird anyone doubts Trevor Lawrence currently at this point. Update on security. They drove away. They looked at me, they were like, what's this guy doing? They probably saw a bunch of recording equipment in my tripod. I probably looks like I'm about to shoot somebody with a probably because a tripod does look very much like a gun when you pull it out. You're like, what is that like long barrel looking thing? So I don't blame them being worried or concerned, but I think once they saw like I'm just like a college looking kid recording a podcast wearing sunglasses..

"Joined as always by Alex barth and today we are going to do a live Q&A edition of the show. So go right ahead. You know the drill and ask your questions in the chat and we'll get to as many as we can over the next half an hour, 45 minutes or so we'll do the Boston sportsman at the end and we'll talk about the Celtics or lament about the Celtics a little bit towards the end of the show, but we're going to start with patriots as we always do. So if you have questions, get them in the chat and we will answer as many as we possibly can here for the next 30 plus minutes or so. But I wanted to start as people file in and start to ask questions, Alex with, I guess the news of the week so far, which was Jacoby Myers officially this guy. Myers officially signing his one year RFA tender on Monday, Myers talked to us last week at mini camp, said that he was going to go back and deliberate with his agent drew rosenhaus and kind of figure out what is best path forward was, but that they were hoping to maybe hammer out and extension to avoid playing on the tender. It didn't sound like it got close enough to any point where Myers was going to push off signing the tender. There was also a deadline for June 15th. They could have lowered the salary if he had him signed it by then. I don't know if the patrons would have gone that route in good faith. It's not exactly the way that you have a good faith negotiation, but it was something that they would have in their back pocket at that point in time. Not a surprise that Myers has signed the tender. But looking forward to possibly extending Jacoby Myers beyond this season, I think it's an interesting conversation to have about his value, not just to the Patriots, but relative to the rest of the league and we've seen that Christian Kirk's of the world and the wide receiver market get a little bit nutty. You especially look at some of the deals that guys like marques Valdez scantling, Russell gage, zay Jones. Those are some of those mid tier wide receivers that signed in the last calendar year here in the 2022 free agency period, they're all getting 8 to $10 million a year in terms of average annual value somewhere between 12 and a half to $20 million that being guaranteed. And pretty nice payday for Jacoby Myers to go from a UDF a to making a deal that's worth a total value of potentially $30 million over three seasons. But the question is for the Patriots and we're going to present here on the show. Should the Patriots be interested in signing a long-term extension with Jacoby Myers that is pushing the $10 million per year mark because that's the, that's the number, right? That's where his market is going to be. I think that's where drew rosenhaus is going to try to get is that three for 30 figures kind of the ceiling of his market, but at the minimum he's looking at 20 to $24 million total over a three year period. Are you in on that for Jacoby.

"Does it mean you need to ignore your defense and they cut linebacker miles Jack? They're leading tackler last year. And it's not like he's old. He's 26 years old. 27 in September. They cut him to save $8.35 million. That does not feel worth it to me. Your best defensive play you're going to get cut him for $8 million. I mean, to me, it makes almost no sense. You're letting a good player in his prime walk away from your organization. And you didn't even trade him. You're just going to let him leave. Makes no sense to me. I don't like it. I don't understand it. But miles Jack is available. He's a great player. I guess we'll see where he goes. I would love to see miles Jack, go to a really good football team and win somewhere. I mean, there's a lot of teams out there that could use a linebacker. He's really dang good, but it's a move that from the Jaguars perspective, how does that sound? You cut a player who was not that expensive. Who is your best defensive player in his prime? Okay. Yeah, I don't know how Jaguars fans feel good about that one. Especially when you're overpaying Christian Kirk a ton of money. Okay. All right, pay the guy who's done nothing in his career. But don't keep the guy who's been killing it for years for you, who's young, 26. I don't know. The Jaguars I can defend and I can explain away why they signed Christian Kirk. I can explain away why they brought in zay Jones a little bit overpaid. I can't explain the miles Jack move at all. Other than, I guess I wanted to save money. I would never want to save money so badly that I'll cut miles Jack for $8 million. That feels like a nonsensical thing to do. So I don't know. You can decide for yourself to me, it makes no sense. The jets made a couple of solid moves. They re signed receiver banks and burials to a two year $12 million deal. He's a return man too. It's a good move I like that. They also sign tight end. CJ uzama from Cincinnati to a three year $24 million deal. He's 29 years old, CJ zama last year got 49 passes for 493 yards and 5 touchdowns. Hey, they got a tight end. They retained a receiver, they also signed guard, Lake and Tomlinson to help their offensive line he came over from the forty-niners. He got a three year $41.2 million deal. I like it. The Jets have been getting some solid help for their young quarterback Zach Wilson. I also resigned a couple of people. Like the jets are doing some solid stuff, not amazing stuff, but solid stuff that I like and it's good to see what's going on. Okay, I'm gonna check my phone. I have one, two, three, four, 5, so many notifications. I don't understand. The birthday thing is so hard. My phone isn't saying and I'm overwhelmed. I gotta open my phone because I need to read something to Baker Mayfield posted. On Tuesday, the Cleveland Browns met with quarterback deshaun Watson. And their current quarterback Baker Mayfield put this on social media. Let me read it..

"Is this team good? Wait a second. Are we just doing past performance? Yeah. And do you remember that they're good? And then that last year. On a Saturday night, everyone's like, all right, they're back. They're back to back. We wanted it so bad, but they lost week 17th at the dolphin's like, wait, what? And then they lost in a obviously in the track record was there. The Steelers is the last one. The Steelers start out great 11 O. Yeah. But then we hit that week 15, 16, 17 Mark. And we're all looking at each other and we're going. That's not angles. He's not happening. I feel like the chiefs have hit that point. And I want to bet against them accordingly. They're 5 and four. Their last two games, they should have lost the Giants game. That was stupid. And then last week, they get Jordan love, who they just decide. We're just going to blitz every play. They only score 13 points against. And it's a whole gimmick that they get by. So they're 5 and four, I think it's really deceiving. I think the Raiders can win this game. It's in Vegas, which I don't care because home field advantage has been kind of garbage all over the place this year. But I just you had pencil this in and think, oh, chiefs easy. I don't even positive why their favorite in this game. I feel like we're getting points. I think this should be a pick em. I think the Raiders last week was a real reason for concern. You look at that team, they came out flat against the Giants. We know what they've been through these last few weeks. It looked like they were an exhausted team, most physically and emotionally. And Henry ruggs is not coming back. And Henry bugs was the one player that they absolutely went to against Kansas City and arrowhead last year. He had those huge plays and he was their speed threat. So he's not coming back. So you say, okay, well, he shouldn't be coming back. All right, well, we've got zay Jones. We've got Brian Edwards. He's a big body to hunt to rent for who's an underneath guy. They had nothing going on last week and they were no deep anything. And some turnovers. So it's like if this is a shootout, I don't know based on what we saw last week and based on what personnel they have on the field like Waller's great and we can get to all these other wide receivers and foster Moreau and whatever. But I don't know, man, that was a big loss. And I think the combination of the actual player not being there, but then the psychological and the emotional and the just the wear of this season on this team, I'd find it hard to bet for the raver raiders. I would bet against a chief no problem, but to bet for the Raiders, it's hard for me right now. I think last week, you throw out because of the rugs thing. Okay. It had just happened. It was yet another thing they have to deal with in a season of that. And I think now, I like the history of these raiders chiefs games. I also like the fact that the chiefs offensive line is really banged up now. Yeah. There are injuries. There's injuries all over the place, and you think that's one of the things the Raiders can do is rush pastor. Now, on the other side, the chiefs D lines get a little healthy. But this feels like a pickup game. The reason I'm looking at it is I just feel like I'm getting two and a half points with the Raiders. Okay, let's get a plus one 24. What's market down? Okay, because this is this is a long-term anti cheap play that we have to look at. I haven't liked anything that's come out of Kansas City. It's like they're under siege.

"My God, that's a great moment, really, really cool. And then I'm like, oh wow, the Raven's gonna win this game. Like, they get the ball back. Lamar fumbles. What a crazy, ridiculous, weird sequence. Now Derek Carr gave an amazing postgame interview. I recommend you look it up on YouTube. Look up Derek Carr postgame ravens at football, something like that. And I'm already a big Derek Carr fan. I really like him. I like his demeanor like him as a human being at a quarterback, like I think there's far more compelling quarterbacks around the NFL. But him as a human being, love the guy. Great leader, great person, and his passion for the game and for his teammates. Like this dude cares, he went out of his way to give credit to the defense saying, thank you for getting us the ball back and made a play when we needed it. And then he went out of his way. This is my favorite part. The defense that's a great comment. But then he made sure to give praise to Z Jones, the guy who caught the touchdown pass of the game winner. He was like a second round pick a couple years ago in Baltimore. And I heard someone say, it was actually with Peyton Manning during the alternate Monday Night Football broadcast. He goes like, who is Jones? Like literally like, who is this kid? Like, who would have thought that guy was gonna catch the game winning touchdown pass, but Derek Carr talked about how everybody should root for zay Jones because his work ethic is amazing. And he shows up every morning at 6 a.m. and he works hard like, I don't want to spoil, I probably already did it. Listen to it. I guarantee it's just like such an amazing moment with Derek Carr, praising his teammates. I loved it so so much. Now, one thing I want to point out from this game was that all three of the Raiders top receivers, whether it's Henry ruggs, Brian Edwards, Darren Waller, those three guys, I am pretty convinced Henry rugs and Brian Edwards about to have a breakout year. Henry rugs had a huge 37 yard gain in the fourth quarter on a third down. Brian Edwards had multiple catches in the fourth quarter and in overtime like when they needed plays, those guys delivered they didn't have the most impressive game I've ever seen, but I thought that when it mattered most Henry rug showed up and Brian Edwards showed up and then Darren Waller had ten catches for a 105 yards and a touchdown, cut this great beat his man inside, got to touch down, made two men missed jumping in the end zone. I'm really, really excited to watch the Raiders offense this year. My buddy Austin texted me yesterday. He's my hockey guy whenever I do hockey, I talk to the Austin and awesome. I was like, he basically was like, are the writers really boring this year? And I kind of get where he's coming from. And I don't need to out Austin. Genuine question. Like, no, the most exciting thing about the Raiders this year is Derek Carr and those three young receivers as Brian Edwards going to have a breakout. You're like, I think he can..
