"Zakar tes tied in from philadelphia got traded to arizona and to me that just makes life a lot harder for one team in the nfc west. And that's the rams because the rams were already up against it with the way. The cardinals came to l. a. Beat him but what they had going to receivers on the outside to solid running backs quarterback who who's hard to stop him and now you add as act urge to this and a deepens. It's playing pretty darn well. They seems like they've got a lot of pieces in place. And in a good win a big win for them. In cleveland this weekend just another great illustration about personnel. Good people make those moves you know. I mean who would make that move when you're would you sit pat at six and our thinking. You don't need any help. No they're constantly working at trying to improve their roster. Which is yet you have to do. Do cleveland started off really bad in that game. They just i think they had so many three nows to begin with they just. They couldn't get anything going then. They started going a little bit but they had some really ugly calls. That went against some early. That we're kind of suspicious to me but They just they were shocked by their speed ray for that kind of speed now now whereas baker at night that was an ugly sub. Lex dislocation. Whatever you wanna call it. That's the second time around for him. In a short period of time now it is his non throwing shoulder. So my question to you mechanically. That's gotta to affect him. It's gotta it's got be would be like if you said a pitcher. Put his hand in his in his pocket. Now throw the ball hard. He did without that arm. That ham. I think it depends on the brace that wears if he's got a good brace and he is not a real painful issue. Put back in obviously Beside painful issues forum there shouldn't be in issue He'll wanna play. No but you had to like you said you've gotta pull that shoulder all the way when you when you throw the business issue is raising it more than anything else He is. He doesn't have to raise that left arm above his shoulder. Thank you be all right. But i would imagine that surgery off off-season like we're waiting here for a diagnosed not a diagnosis but you know more information. Obviously everyone heard him talk at the podium after the game. He's in the brace of boy. I just. my question is how many more that many hit skinny take on that are falls. Did you see him after the team back in boy he was real careful about how he fell almost designed his fall a couple of times as looking and take the snap from the center. See if that left hand can come up down. Yeah you could work anything to be our i with that. But and he is. He was skittish about taking the hits on But he'll if he continues to play a big red target on his back he can't wait to take him. Yeah i know the league. That doesn't like to hear any of that stuff. That's the reality of buddy Okay so running. Wise since we're on the browns will stay here. An employees jumping next week's game so running back wise. They're in trouble. Kareem hunt of chubb didn't play kareem. Hunt got hurt. He's out four to six. So now you've got a banged up quarterback a run game that's injured and receive down to write beckham..

"I think that that kind of like forecast. Three down guy. That's going to get a monster workload. I love mile sanders. This year behind. What i think is a really good offensive line. Sanders over one thousand and a half rushing yards. I think makes a lot of sense. I don't have a lot of interest in devante smith receiving yards. I don't have interest jalen. Reagan receiving yards eight hundred and a half and six hundred fifty and a half respectively. Both could go over both could go under like we kind of need to see what's going to happen with jalen hurts. The one bet that. I do like the eagles pass catching core dallas gutter seven hundred and a half receiving yards. If it's just goddard love the over. Here's the problem zakar still on the roster and he's gonna get targets this year so you gotta go under if you do anything with dallas this year for the philadelphia eagles and that wraps up our three days three teams in the nfc will do the giants packers. Vikings coming up tomorrow right. We continue to hope and pray for the people of new orleans anyone affected by the path of hurricane ida as a result of the hurricane as we have to talk about the sports implication of this. Because that's what we do here on the show. The saints are not expecting to be in new orleans per coach. Sean payton for maybe the first quarter of the season at least the first month. We'll see how long orleans displays for. Hopefully they get back to the superdome as fast as possible for a million different reasons first off because that would mean that things are good in new orleans and getting back to normal and also like sports fans superdome spun and makes things more interesting but any events green bay new orleans week number one will not be played at the superdome. We now have a venue. It will be played in jacksonville. Jaguars obviously on the road in houston and week number one so it has to be played at an nfl stadium the game. That's like part of like the nfl. Bylaws of the game will be played in jacksonville and as a result gannon. You're right on the money on this. Maybe yesterday or two days ago. I thought this was possible. The is adjusted. Green bay was a two and a half point road favorite at janus winston and the saints..

"He's gonna fall very low. He was my tight end one last year to start the year and really just never got going so i think right now. Goddard is the better option. Zakar has got to go out there and prove that he's you know maybe he will. Come back and a resurgence because he was insane in two thousand nine hundred last year not so much but yeah those are. Those are some of the players that i wanted to talk about. You know there's a lot of them. I went through a lot. You know i talked about you. Know who's going to be higher. Who's going to be lower. You know in terms of fantasy fantasy value. I know i've done previous segments. You know in previous shows about you know who has arise and fantasy stock who has low fantasy stock stuff like that. I know i've definitely done that before. But i just kinda wanted to reiterate that you know especially because the season's coming up and drags her underway. You know i kind of wanted to reiterate that and give you know a refresher on you know maybe some of these players that i might have talked about before but you know it's You know. I think it's something that people could take into consideration as to what i'm saying about some of these players and you know i mean not to say that some of the guys that i sit down on or not gonna have good years. It's just as of right now. I'm not high on them. And you know same thing with the guys that are high on they can ended up having bad seasons. You know so. Yeah that's my perspective on. You know some of the players that i think are going to be you know. See a rise fantasy stock in the players. That i'm going to see a you know a dip in fantasy stock. So yeah that that. That is all the time that we have for today. Make sure to subscribe to our social media accounts right nice review on our website. We greatly appreciate it. We'll be back next time talking. "She breaks down kind of the the things that you really should be focusing on in terms of overall wellness and nutrition. And i think that it's kind of a good thing to think about going into the new year and we're not talking loss. We're just talking overall how to feel better and how to feed your body what it needs and how to exercise to like get the results that you want or to feel the best and have the best energy that you want so those are just some that are coming up so exciting thing we have a good or oster of interviewees planned for twenty twenty one and more to come. If you guys have suggestions or recommendations on who you wanna hear talk to and twenty twenty one. Hit us up. Let us know what you want to hear from us. I know there's a few people like for instance we've had someone the past on our show or a dream person on our podcast. Who would your choice. B i know i want to hear it and we will do no. My let should astle no fucking questions asked. He is brilliant I am obsessed with him. And i think that he is just full. Yeah he knows my mind yeah. He's got he's got a pretty awesome. Podcast i love listening to edge. You have I think. I mean i think our goal really has always been have jillian harris at some point. She's like super popular. Well thought-out individual. But i think that she would be awesome to have on But i think also just Someone who has been on our podcast before tanya zakar abroad. I think it'd be interesting to have her back on. Just if you have been following the The news with what's been going on with her and her company f factor. They've going through some some drama with another influence or anything. The whole story is just interesting. And i just love to get her perspective on how she's doing After kind of everything has unfolded but if you wanna learn more about that you can go to her page or discu goal like a factor and can relate to her upside episode with her after that. Because i remember walking away from that episode and i looked at you and i said that was probably my favorite episode this year. Yeah she's pretty incredible and And then it was just so shocking to hear like everything that was exposed about her like not. I'm not like. I think there's just so much to talk about an unpack there that i don't wanna make any assumptions about anything but I think tony is awesome. And i mean we don't. We've only really talked to her once and met her once. But i would love to have back on. Give her an opportunity to chat and just like tell us everything like just spill the beans us and like you know an interesting. And that's the thing. I think our goal the time is to bring on really interesting people who have stories and you have Great advice or just very entertaining. "On the property and everybody bells ringing digging and digging and digging and they got all the people got up and ran to go put out this fire and ritchie went running his flipflops idiot and somebody looked at him and said forget the fire. You got be concerned. There might be some snakes out there to you. Gotta come with boots boy. What kind of clothing should bob. Because the reason it came to my now as you talked about doing something from a sunny warm weather client to going into a snowy mountainside story so when you pack to come and visit. What should you be packing. Well here's the good news is that we built a reservation team that we actually call ranch ambassadors and they help you custom. Plan your stay so that we can predict in advance what activities you're most interested in and then we actually send you a packing list. That's sort of custom built. Based on the activities. They are interested in. I want my audience to know something. I want my audience to know two things. I'd like you to know what to jade all right. It drives some people crazy that i interview that. I don't provide questions in advance. Because i never know what it is that we're going to need to know because the next question i ask like this one about what. He pack of your. You know you're gonna go from warm weather too cold weather and from sunshine to foot flops to snow showing you know. How do you pack for that. That's not something that would've been on a preordained list. I would have sent you of is the questions i'm gonna ask you be prepared to answer them. I figure anybody. I invite on. The air is of caliber that they've got the answers and if they don't have the answers it's okay to say you know nobody's ever asked me that. Let me find out. Invite me back. And i'll share it with your audience. No problem there and you get a second exposure good news but it's not until i'm talking with the person that i really understand. What is that. My audience needs to know about now. This business of ranchi ambassador. That is hot stuff. I mean you wanna talk about detail oriented when people throw around the word pampering and anticipating the guest's needs before they even though they have them. That's what this is all about. And i'm going to tell you if i sent you a list of twenty questions i'm gonna ask you. This wouldn't have been on the list so it's always a thrill for me that my insane interview style which makes some people completely crazy gets at the heart of the meat and potatoes of what a place is about. Which is you know. My mission is to peel back the onion so that you can reveal what it is about your place whatever. Your place is so that people that are listening can really connect with a place at feel like. Wow that's for me this is the bingo moment. Bingo i want to do that. I had a really great mentor stephanie. A guy named adrian zecha he was the founder of amman resorts And years ago probably ten years ago he sat down with me and we were having a conversation about kind of what my job was. And what he expected of me and Somehow i said something chairman and it was my comment. Was something like well. I thought we were here to sell beds. And he said to me j if you think this is about selling badger in the wrong place and you need to move on if you can help. People change their lives. Then you're in the right place and So i love that philosophy that what's important to us is to treat people in a way that gives them this opportunity. We try to put them in places where they have these really special moments And so it's something as simple as the right. Packing list is really important to the all. no kidding. can you imagine you out to your place. And you're thinking whatever the season it is you're packing for one season for that place and then you it's like arriving on You know somewhere in finding out you should have brought a bathing suit. Sure you need to know these things. And i have to tell you quickly something that just comes to mind and i will leave out all the names because we can't afford the lawsuit not emotionally or financially years ago. A major company in the hotel industry came in and took over another major company in the hotel industry. And what tells in that group they took over was a four star property where the staff was working diligently to get that v star and they were doing all the things on the checklist of things. You gotta do to get to really be a five star property. And when the new company's executives came to sit down with the management team at the hotel at this one particular hotel and they went around the table and asked each of the people you know. What do you see your job as you know. What is your name and what do you do in in whatever and they one by one went around the table. Talking about quality of service am anticipating guest needs before the guests even those. They have the need the kinds of things that they were doing and how they were working their department to help. Bring the team along as part of achieving this top top level of service in the industry and when everybody was done speaking the head honcho from the new company said well now you can forget all of that where interested in the bottom line and i wanna tell you. Yeah you know. That's the antithesis of what adrian was his last name zakar. Zakar what he said to you. And the and the reality in terms of my experiences knowledge and beliefs having been this industry more decades that i wished to be accountable for you. Want to achieve. Focus on what you talked about. Jade focus on the deliverables. Give that guest in or whomever it is. That is your client anywhere. But in the travel industry give that guest two hundred percent of your caring pampering attention. They'll become a repeat guest and they will become an ambassador who at the next ten cocktail parties will be silly singing your praises and you'll have a sales team unrelated out there that you don't even know exists by the bottom line on. That story was of the ten department heads who were at that meeting. Eight left within the next five weeks because they didn't want to work there anymore and these were.

"State. I won by a lot. So I like it. But we love Arkansas, and she's going to be going back to Arkansas with a great family or husband is fantastic. I in her family, and I don't know fail. And folks, if we can get her to run for the governor of Arkansas, I think she'll be very well and have trying to get do. She was exceptional at this job. She was a pit bull in their face had answers made them look like the children. They are she had this unique talent to make them look bad. She didn't cower. She didn't play the game. She called them out when they were grandstanding in order to call attention to themselves, and that's why they don't like her. They don't like her because she was affected. They don't like her because she was loyal to Trump. I have a. I have a stack story in a stack here today. And if is. How a liberal, think tank is driving. Twenty twenty Democrats to crack down on big tech big. No, no. This is an object lesson here. What in the world? What in the world is the American left have problems with big tech for do they not understand it? Big tech is on their team. Do they not understand that big tech is the coach do they not understand at big tech is the money in the fine today? Not understand. It big tech is one of the biggest allies. They've got this story is in politico, our liberal think-tank is driving twenty twenty Democrats to crackdown on big, big Texas. There's a think tank out there. Big tech needs to be raised. You know what it is? I'll tell you what it is. They hate big tech because Trump won their hatred for Trump is so overwhelming. They're blaming big tech for not stopping Trump, then they got this Cambridge analytical scandal that happened supposedly, at Facebook, and so Facebook and the rest of big tech need to be punished now because Trump got elected instead of realizing that big tech is dying to help them. Big tech is dying to beat Donald Trump big tech, his dying to get rid of conservatives and conservatism anywhere they can in their in their platforms. Instead. The presidential race and rising anger at silicon valley's power are giving new life to the open markets institutes crusade against online monopoly, I'm wondering if I hope these people succeed. They're trying to do great damage at Twitter, great damage to Facebook, and they are poisoned, they have no idea how good they've got it with these tech firms being on their team. But because Trump won and the tech firms were unable to stop it. Some how anger is justified if the tech firms. These people believe that the Russians colluded, the Russia's didn't this Zuckerberg new didn't stop. He could've stopped at nobody didn't stop it. Googles Pixel 4 gets a really, really early tease (The 3:59, Ep. 571)

"The. Welcome to three Jinan Roger Chan. I'm Joanie Solomon Google decided surprised, everyone and dropping photo of the pixel forge next flagship phone and something that's supposed to come out until the fall. This is highly unusual. What do you think I'm here for it? Yeah. More transparency show us what you got don't. Let all these leaks legs set the tone in the conversation. That's true last. I mean, the pixel three light the budget phone was leaked completely before got launched Google does so maybe trying to get ahead way ahead of everyone. Right. One thing, one theory that are in lob opposed was idea that they teased out the square Cambe special multiple cameras. The iphone is also supposed to have one and traditionally, the pixel four launches the iphone. Maybe they just wanted to say, hey, we got here. I don't tell us where copying the iphone xactly. We were here first. All right. Let's talk about deep fakes and manipulate content. A video of Nancy Pelosi doctor to make her seem drunk made the rounds last week. Prizing was last week. Maybe two weeks ago, the surprising, how the different social networks, reacted Facebook kept the video, but added the fact check articles YouTube pulled Twitter actually kept on sort of suggests that like there really are no consistent rules about how social networks dealing with this content. And this seemed like they had no idea how to deal this content, and what experts say is that is a real flaw in, how're going to address, even more elaborate manipulations, like deep fix in the future. All the experts say what we need not only consistency in. In policies on social networks for dealing with it at the networks themselves, but also across that they engage with each other, and develop best practices also share resources, the only way they can really address these things if they worked together note that's not something, they're incentivized to do include be weren't in this situation rights, given how different Landale acted. And you listen to a house hearing on deep. Thanks there any highlights in terms of what they're talking about. It was definitely a theme throughout the conversation between the house representatives, and experts on the panel that social media is one of the key weaponization factors. Distributing, this sort of disinformation. And so it wasn't unreasonable for there to be these kind of questions that take these networks to task. Did you see the big Zucker Berg do? Yeah. Supercomputing all but and you know that came up on the panel like they brought up the Zakar thing. And one of the panelists experts noted, obviously, when this video says that Coburg says that I can control the future, obviously, that's not true because if he could he wouldn't be in the message and right now. So, you know, even the fact that I it is difficult. There are defects that are satire that are so Atlanta, they cannot actually believe it's hard to decide win something needs to be taken down under what circumstances, who target is. What are those? What are those rules yet? The point of the story that queenie wounded looking at the consistent reactions was. Yes. There's sometimes a line, their words. It could be parody. It could be commentary. And I think that's kinda wives social networks right now. Our little trapped in terms of like trap, but they're little befuddled in terms of how to deal with these videos. Right this content. Lastly, you want a review of a twenty seven inch Android tablet built into a GE oven hood, sticker price, only twelve hundred dollars a steel steel, would you want to put this thing on your oven plus side? Gotcha recipes and your YouTube videos on how great their in front of you in the pot. Yup. Downside putting all those Electric's right of an over. Yeah. Yeah. That's a little weird. The battery their power source. It's got all that, grease just like there's a lot of cleanup involved here. I don't know. It is on top of another hoods. Maybe. All right. That's one of the story. C J, Johnny. It's listening.

The one thing that, that, that Californians want most is to clean up our streets, these images from Los Angeles. Ten year bond yield two point one three percent. All right. Kelly. Thanks very much time now for news from your neighborhood, where we scour, the local newspapers all across northern California bringing the latest headlines on this Wednesday morning. Let's go to Zakar technical producer who's been taking a look and examining these papers this morning. What have you found out? There's hi, good morning. So this comes out of the Vacaville reporter, Odin who is a thirteen year old male Bengals white tiger and who was in residence at six flags discovery kingdom had to be euthanized. Oh down for declining health. Oh, that's bad. Tail end I was looking has his own Facebook page, really and lots of just beautiful pictures of not only him but the other Tigers that are there and obviously well love tiger. They have I mean and they posted all kinds of pictures of him doing different things. But a lot of people get used to seeing certain animals when they go on their annual trip. Didn't Odin used to jump in the water. I mean he was a cat that went in the water always in the water and he's got all. I'm looking at his site here, all sorts of toys, and it's unusual for a cat though. Right. But people would go specifically to see him. So that's sad. So did you know here's a little factoid for you? Both mingled Tigers are endangered on average their lifespan in the wild is eight to ten years in captivity, they can live longer eighteen to twenty years while they live longer in captivity than they do in the wild. That's counterintuitive doesn't it is that, that might be because of poaching regular supply of food is number one. Yes. Yeah. Consistent medical care and protection from those natural threats. So yeah, you guys are all on board. You're all right. Tiger will be missed by the way, a southern California based startup is now renting because you can rent anything these days, pretty much a bunk beds in San Francisco, how much are those bad boys? Sixty bucks a night or twelve hundred dollars a month for a bunk bed or as they call them pods in the tenderloin. So if you don't have like four five thousand dollars per month for rent in San Francisco, that sounds like a decent deal. You can you can rent a pod. It'll cost you probably more to park your car. Go into your pod. We'll pour your actual pod, but renting with pod share buys not only access to the bad, but also the shared spaces and a listed building. That's more like a hostile. So the company plans to add more San Francisco locations in the coming weeks. It's, it's an option. I guess, for people who have to commute some supercomputers that have to spend a night or two in the city. Okay. So the boss comes to you, Christina and says, we've got some new high-tech plans, we're going to do some roll outs of new hi-tech options, and your response is I, I like technology. So I'd say, all right. Let's see what the, how's it going to help me. Right. But some people don't like it. And I know that some people roll their eyes and like, I don't want to deal with this. So the point is you better get on board. Is that what you're saying? Okay. Well, that seems to be a new trend out there, and we're going to take a look at that coming up on our next half hour news ninety three point one to.

"Trade dispute there is news. The US government is imposing new duties on imports of stainless steel cakes as in the things that hold beer this after the Commerce Department determined that China Mexico and Germany were selling cakes at what it considers less than fair value. That's called dump. Ping? Marketplace's Justin hose been following this, Justin. Yeah. When the president imposed tariffs on steel aluminum last year companies that rely on steel aluminum started having to pay more companies like the American company. In fact, marketplace talked to the CEO Paul Zakar after the tariffs went into effect. I'm sure feeling distri needs some protection. But there's some unintended consequences for companies such as us that have competition that make imports. And on the US side, our costs for domestic steel is going to increase because of these towers. So American K company wound up petitioning the government for some protection. Specifically it asked the government to look into whether foreign competitors were selling cakes in the US at unfairly low prices this company got its way had did the Commerce Department says companies in Germany Mexico and China are dumping their kegs in the US. And so now there's a process in motion, the put new tariffs on those foreign beer, kegs so America wins. Well, the Commerce Department will make its final call in November, but I talked to Emily Blanchard at Dartmouth this morning. She says, there are a lot of other American companies that could make the same argument that they need tariff protection because of other tariffs. But you know, the sealers have set a couple of things that hint that they might be interested in bringing him back this week. There's been some cooling off of the feud. So maybe he's saying I I don't know. I mean who knows? Yeah. I'm just I'm trying to figure that out. You know of what he's trying to say what he what he wants you to understand about his situation but open for business. Not quite sure what that means. Yes. Satan O'Connor, isn't it possible that he just woke up and was like, hey, I'm up and open for business as a small retail shop. In the suburbs of Pittsburgh somewhere AM eastern. What do you what what exactly is he selling his business, Iraq, Paul? He has a cupcake shop. I don't know maybe Antonio Brown. He forgot to switch accounts or something. And the other one is his. Secondhand clothing store that he operates on the mclovin. Would you check on it? Does Antonio Brown of a small business that he's running that? He's he's open for business today. Actually, he's doesn't he wake up at like six in the morning and do some insane workout every morning and put it on Instagram. He's probably okay got three. But yet it could be. I mean who knows do you think he wants to leave their? I don't know. He's one of those guys when we only see him music at the Super Bowl any comes in and he lights up the room. And then you read this story where you know, Nana sources in Philadelphia's teammates were talking about him and his ego. And you know, he'd changes the play and he plays. Favorites. And so you're never quite sure. I can Tonio Brown is a star. He looks like a star. He would be a guy that, you know, would be a lead singer a solo performer, and he would be a star. "The game. Teammates now sitting city Philadelphia. That's on me. I'll take sorry. No title applying. Just I wanted to me it is what is having to the best. I mean guys miss game winning shots technology time. And having said message. Live. You learn. Great team, Nicole. She's done. Phenomenal job form. We knew it was gonna be different than last time, Shannon. What was the difference? Yesterday. Eagles had an opportunity to deliver the Khuda Groff's give their fourteen nothing to get the ball back and Nick foles, skipped. He is not a check down guy. He doesn't do a lot of nibbling goes for the home run anywhere for the home run with Zakar it's under through the little bit. And Marshon Lattimore intercepted. He has small would in the flat. That would have given him a first down. And then I think the real turning point of the ball game. And just what we know about Sean Payton, he's always looking Steeler possession. Eagles died. No skill. They're thinking about this. They they're in the what we call a defense state punt safe. He leaves his defense on the field. Take a corner out. I mean, take a linebacker out skip and get the return in there. Just in case they put it so they got their expecting this. But you gotta give the saints credit because they were able to get enough push to let the upback get enough of the first down. They go down the field. They score. Touchdown. If you look at it. Nick foles in the first quarter skip he's eight of nine one hundred thirteen yards. Touchdown touchdown run. Emma touchdown ROY fourteen points, the final three quarters. He's ten of twenty to eighty eight yards to I t's he couldn't finish them. Now saints. Why you good homefield? You know, you fall down fourteen on the road more times than not is good night. Irene I know you don't know who I renamed, but it's good night. But they were at home crowd kept him in the game. They get that first down, but I can approximate. Sure, you you don't wanna tell too many times, you definitely don't wanna tempt fate with the ramp coming in. But what happened was is that you remember last just lik bowls went on. This is the eagles. And they went on this run. What could they also do run the football? They had the Garrett blunt. They had J Gye and they found the ball. So they get a lead. They found the ball with those two guys. They have no resemblance of a run game sixteen Russia forty nine yards. That's not nearly good enough and it allowed because you can. Throwing the ball throwing the ball. And you loud you read the get his rhythm before. I turned. If I want to know one thing. Eagles. How many times Michael Thomas twelve passes for buck? Seventy one touchdowns. How many times are you gonna let them run in cut skip? How many times they will run that route? They let them run to push up the twelve break in and catch the ball that fourteen how many times they let him do it. He's been doing all year long. I'll last night jobs moonlight. I'm over that time. I'll look at time. I'm looking like incurred again and cut all they run. It's your plan your plan Tampa to you vacate use a tiny a second receiver vacate the linebacker, and then he puts you coming. Do can you please? Maybe that's why drew Brees should win MVP. He's got one target and he just keeps going to the same. No, no skip skip..

"The gun by formation. Two minute warning in the pocket throws it. Marshon lattimore. Second interception of the game. Better than any time this season saints take a photograph. You found the leadoff spot with your host Adam Copeland on KNB are six eighty sports leader, Nick foles, or as MIB medium impact. Brian's been calling it foles mania. He's actually yesterday said I'm not ready for foles mania to come to an end. It's over it's done at least in Philadelphia. We would presume for the time being Adam Copeland with you here in the leadoff spot. Yeah. You heard Marshon Lattimore the interception there, of course, off the hands of Sean Jeffrey in the fourth quarter interception earlier on the underthrown ball Zakar that won't even more. Impressive interception. You to leap off sort of almost horizontal to the ground and came down without one that really halted the the eagles who were on a fourteen oh, they had a fourteen lead. And they were driving looking like they were going to go three scores on the New Orleans Saints the saints. We were talking in the first segment about the and I made the statement. And I think in the NFL the bye week is. Biggest advantage. Probably in all of North American. Pro sports right now to get that by week and have the the number one of the number two seed you've got to win two games to get to a Super Bowl versus three which looking back after after two weeks. Now playoffs have the play three games to get to a Super Bowl is hard. It's really really hard. It's why getting the home field advantage and winning your division is crucial. I think if you wanna have legitimate shot at a go to the postseason it also makes looking at a team like like, what are you li- manning did twice super impressive? I mean, especially now since we're seeing this run of teams where I think we saw over the last five years eight of the ten teams to play in the Super Bowl, I have been number one seat. So, you know, I it's it's no secret. And it's pretty obvious at this point that coming away with a division crown and getting that by week is a major factor in whether or not your team gets to the Super Bowl Nick foles now four and one in the last two years in the postseason. He's done. I in in all different ways. I mean, he had a shot there at the end of that game. And I don't think anybody would blame him for the for the inability to score. It's just that the saints really turn things up and the eagles offense really kind of lost their rhythm. Take a look at this number here. As far as the eagles game. And the eagles offense went yesterday on their on their first two drives their first drive. They come out, and they were cutting up the saints. Drew Brees on that. First play from scrimmage drops back throws a bomb. I liked Sean Payton's thinking seem like a Sean Payton way to go. We saw in the Super Bowl you. Remember? They came out in that second half, an onside kicked it and caught him off guard and said, hey, we're gonna take the ball. We wanna go down and score. Again. Saints come out yesterday in the first play from scrimmage, drew Brees. Tried to take a shot deep pretty badly thrown ball intercepted. And so the eagles takeover almost immediately seven plays seventy six yards and a touchdown. Their next drive. Ten plays seventy five yards and a touchdown. They go fourteen nothing. They ran the ball. Very effectively. I was pretty impressed. Because. I had Wendell small widow my fantasy team all year. And I don't remember him running that hard ever, and he came out and he'd gassed on the first couple of drives. Check these numbers in those first two drives seven carries. Thirty-seven rush yards on the ground, then everything stopped the saints completely stopped everything for the eagles. Offense lost rhythm right after the Nick foles interception on the intended pastors accurate. Marshon Lattimore comes down with it. And then their next seven drives they go one hundred nine total yards. So after their first two drives a rack up one hundred fifty one their next seven drives they go hundred nine total yards five punts two turnovers. The offense lost rhythm completely. They turned it over twice. And of course, that last one the interception off the hands of alshon Jeffery, Dan. The ballgame nine carries for twelve yards after seven carries for thirty seven on their first drive. So it was a complete loss of rhythm part of it was the the injuries to the to the front seven also for the for the for the eagles. And they also lost one of their offensive linemen, which I'm sure affected whether or not they. Effectively running the ball. But they did a pretty good job. I thought on defense as far as holding a saints saints offense in average is thirty five points a game the twenty points, you'd expect him to come out and get a little bit more against you. But once the saints were able to move the ball effectively and run the ball effectively started going to Kamara started going to Mark Ingram. They were able to just sort of deflate to football in the second half dominated a couple of those drives like eleven minutes. What they they wanted to like an eleven minute drive before they missed a field goal. Just before the half a fifty three yard attempted field goal by will lutts came up short. And how about this the offensive line? You gotta give credit to the eagles zero sacks only four QB hits Dennis Allen. I heard before the ball game was talking about this D coordinator of the saints was saying the toughest thing about facing Nick foles versus Carson Wentz. And if you remember the eagles lost to the saints week eleven with Carson Wentz. And then everything turned around right after that. They of course, whence goes down with the injury. They insert Nick foles into the starting lineup. And then they went out to LA upset the ramps. They upset the Rams and they went on a little run. Let them hey, we have a shot at getting back into the postseason. So I don't think all the eagles fans are real hot. Because the way this season started. Where was your quarterback at the beginning of the year? He was pretty flat wasn't all that special. Carson Wentz takes over. And you're still kind of hoping he can regain the composure or keep the composer. He had last year as an MVP candidate. Then he goes down in the NFC east was pretty wide open for a number of weeks there then the Cowboys sort of established their defense and Amari Cooper got rolling, and they kinda ran away with it. But eagles needed some help. They got wins at the end of the season they needed. It felt like to me the eagles were playing with house money you're playing with house money still with your backup quarterback in a season that really kind of felt like a Super Bowl hangover season. So unfortunate for the eagles in for Nick foles at the foles mania comes to an end. But ultimately, I think I'm pretty excited about seeing Aram saints NFC championship match-up as a fan as as a sports talk host. I think Nick foles go into the champ game promotes a whole different level of. Of intrigue because we get to make the conversation. David I've been debating it. Do you trade Nick foles and member David if he gets to the NFC champ game that will have meant that he beat the bears at Soldier Field. And he beat drew Brees in New Orleans. And I gotta tell you on that final drives. Maybe you can you can speak to this. And that final drive from foles. I felt pretty good about the eagles going down and scoring. I thought there was a damn good shot. They were gonna score. Oh, I did too. And as a guy who had saints money line on four different tickets. I was not feeling good about we you have to remember to that day defensive coordinator. Dennis Allen, former head coach your Oakland Raiders who was the head coach. Nick foles threw not won by seven touchdowns in one game. Oh my God. Touchdown. I mean, he just let them that's that's something. I hadn't even thought about that. Dennis Allen was the head coach of the raiders when Nick foles threw seven touchdowns in a game. And I believe six yard. I believe that year was the season. He had like a twenty seven to two touchdown to interception ratio. Yes. He did. That was an incredible season for full hours before he of course, went to the Rams, and and all that happened. So foles mania comes to an end. And I gotta believe that like that. I mean, he he made a statement after the game yesterday they asked him about whether or not he wanted to be a starter and without trying to create any any headlines, and I don't think this guy's doing this at all. He said, look I I would like to play every day. I want to be a starter in the NFL. I want to be out there and grind them with guys. He's putting it out there. If the eagles want him to be their starter, they'll make him their starter. And they'll move Carson Wentz. I have a hard time believing. They'll do that. I feel like I feel like it's more a case of how do the eagles wake up and look across the NFL. If Carson Wentz in five years or four years is out there winning MVP's and win playoff games. DC? We more. Our future. Just because we love this guy. I sort of the sort of the San Francisco Giants model, but the way the giants worked it out. Is there guys got them a couple of more championships? Who knows who knows? But if you're the Baltimore earn if you're the the Jacksonville Jaguars. You're looking for a quarterback, Nick foles attractive one. Probably he enjoyed flacco the two out there. You're looking at if you're the Jags of your cliff Kingsbury down there in Arizona. He needs someone to throw to Larry FitzGerald and all those guys Naples. It's a good question. I mean, you wonder about a team like that who just fired their head coach after one season. I had imagine they're gonna let Kingsbury go. They're going to let him build his system. You would think and Nixon Arizona guy, though, that'd be a nice place. Didn't he I think he played it. Arizona. That's correct. You went to your. But he's from Texas went to the same high school as drew Brees. So not home in in Arizona. But you're right. Went to the university of okay? I just got to put it out there. How do the university of Texas lead drew Brees? And Nick foles get out of Texas. I mean, one went to Purdue when went to U of I mean, come on. It's not like they went to USC or something. It's the Houston area. Aren't they? I mean, not. I mean, you figure if they were in Austin, you're playing at UT, you have the fact that they even got out of that state. I mean, it's it's it's it's a huge surprise. You're right. Well, I one of my best friends who went to U of AWOL, Nick foles was there we give him crap all the time 'cause he infamously told us when Nick foles junior. There's no way this guy's an NFL quarterback. There's no disguise play. He won't be successful NFL quarterback. Is that was right after rich Rodriguez took the job, and he was kind of up in arms about what the program was doing an Arizona, and we kind of upset with Nick foles. I said. A big harm. He seems like he can play the first time. We really got on them. Dave was through those seven touchdowns. We went oh, make fools can't play in the NFL tied paid manning single game. Touchdown mark. And then of course, he he comes out wins the Super Bowl last year. So and then the final game the earlier game from yesterday the the New England Patriots. Like, I don't know what you say about this man, people keep saying they're done. They're banged up their brews their battered, rob gronkowski. Just look at him move. There's no way he's going to be a look this team is more mentally stable and game plans better than any team in the history of professional sports. I think gronk laid out more blocks. And he had catches. He had a great game. He may have he may have. And now that they have a true running game. I mean like they had Dion Lewis. And now they have James it's like the same guy. The patriots are a systematic team. They plug guys in who. I mean, Wes Welker was there for how long you've got HOGAN, Julian Edelman and amendola. Was there last year anytime they need a guy? They just find a guy to plug and play. You forget Josh. Gordon was there earlier this season that gave them an element to they're often? So we hadn't even seen before..

"Give you that. But this evens of line has been getting some legit pressure there. They're probably due for a turnover. They dropped a bunch of interceptions. They still haven't had a return or special teams. Touchdown. I really think they're due to get one in this playoff run. So I'm kind of putting two thousand dollars. But I'm not gonna take the colts defense. I'm not gonna take the Cowboys defense and eagles are cheapest defense on the board. You have you have a couple all-pros on there. So yeah. Came into eagles the two thousand. That there was any doubt. How do we you even had reasons why? It's like it's Pena. And I were chatting it up on the old Twitter when I was making a case for Zakar tes for all pro. And and pita thought I was crazy for saying. I thought he have got in over kiddle. Now, granted I I been accused of being a rampant Homer, which is true. But I think the thirty plus matches and three touchdowns is worth more than the receiving yards that George kill because receiving record different. Also zakar. It's had receiving record with the most number of catches for tight end in a single season. All time, I would say this. Join George kill got one hundred fifty yards. They in that Ramsgate. They're getting blown out. So they they still count two hundred ten in another. They had great. They they all great seasons. I think the guy I'm not saying he had a bad year. I'm just saying I will you break single season receiving record. You get all pro in that position in my opinion. I think. Broke on Sean settled the liar. Why are yards more catching your arguing against the wrong guy? I think the argument is Kittle in earth's were a huge part of their team's offense. They were they were a huge cog in the machine that moved the ball for those teams. I think Kelsey is the guy who I have the problem with because he he yes, he Kells. He's a great player. Kelsey is it absolute beast, but he's on an offense that did a shitload. He just got it got his got his piece of it. It wasn't a huge piece. It wasn't a key piece. I think this team could even survive without Kelsey and move forward in the playoffs. So I I know Kelsey also set the record, and it's now the second. So that just points out how the record isn't that hard to beat of two guys being they know Kelsey came into the kill Kelsey came into week seventeen only needing eighty or seventy yards four to get it. Kiddo needed like a hundred. Stirred ninety or so I'm going to give I'm gonna give you some advice right now. I just saw look in Shanzai that that's just to me that we're going to slowly walk back away from the argument. No, it's never gonna end. I think I think verse helped me win tens of thousands of dollars and fantasy football this year show. So there you go. That's all that matters. You also helped me win two hundred grand. So maybe you're right. I'm a little buys. And when guys help you stack two hundred grin. That's your mom's ugly. No. I certainly there's a case to be made for Kittle. Oh, no. It's coming back. Here we go. We disagree disagree move on. I agree to disagree. I'm just making my case on air. I thought it was an interesting discussion Ryan gets uncomfortable. When I mean, it is released talk podcast. I'm changing forbid, I have a we have a debate on what what case to be made of between two guys. They have noticed that even when me meeting Koby me, and you we have a disagreement Ryan is always the piece to move this along he does not like. Who's afraid that dad's going to beat the sun? I let it go the amount that's necessary. And then pull it back. Well, sure, we would not stood show. You guys you continue to have ridiculous arguments because that's hilarious to me when Shawn's getting fire. We're watching football and Shawn's getting fired up argue with Pino over Twitter. I enjoy. If Zakar it's played on the colts. Would you feel the say way, I would argue that you would not that? I wouldn't have. No, I wouldn't have an opinion on the second team. All pro 'as if Zakar it's wasn't on the team. But if you showed me those two numbers and said if you showed me the stat line explain the two scenarios, I would still blindly Sacher..
