Googles Pixel 4 gets a really, really early tease (The 3:59, Ep. 571)

"The. Welcome to three Jinan Roger Chan. I'm Joanie Solomon Google decided surprised, everyone and dropping photo of the pixel forge next flagship phone and something that's supposed to come out until the fall. This is highly unusual. What do you think I'm here for it? Yeah. More transparency show us what you got don't. Let all these leaks legs set the tone in the conversation. That's true last. I mean, the pixel three light the budget phone was leaked completely before got launched Google does so maybe trying to get ahead way ahead of everyone. Right. One thing, one theory that are in lob opposed was idea that they teased out the square Cambe special multiple cameras. The iphone is also supposed to have one and traditionally, the pixel four launches the iphone. Maybe they just wanted to say, hey, we got here. I don't tell us where copying the iphone xactly. We were here first. All right. Let's talk about deep fakes and manipulate content. A video of Nancy Pelosi doctor to make her seem drunk made the rounds last week. Prizing was last week. Maybe two weeks ago, the surprising, how the different social networks, reacted Facebook kept the video, but added the fact check articles YouTube pulled Twitter actually kept on sort of suggests that like there really are no consistent rules about how social networks dealing with this content. And this seemed like they had no idea how to deal this content, and what experts say is that is a real flaw in, how're going to address, even more elaborate manipulations, like deep fix in the future. All the experts say what we need not only consistency in. In policies on social networks for dealing with it at the networks themselves, but also across that they engage with each other, and develop best practices also share resources, the only way they can really address these things if they worked together note that's not something, they're incentivized to do include be weren't in this situation rights, given how different Landale acted. And you listen to a house hearing on deep. Thanks there any highlights in terms of what they're talking about. It was definitely a theme throughout the conversation between the house representatives, and experts on the panel that social media is one of the key weaponization factors. Distributing, this sort of disinformation. And so it wasn't unreasonable for there to be these kind of questions that take these networks to task. Did you see the big Zucker Berg do? Yeah. Supercomputing all but and you know that came up on the panel like they brought up the Zakar thing. And one of the panelists experts noted, obviously, when this video says that Coburg says that I can control the future, obviously, that's not true because if he could he wouldn't be in the message and right now. So, you know, even the fact that I it is difficult. There are defects that are satire that are so Atlanta, they cannot actually believe it's hard to decide win something needs to be taken down under what circumstances, who target is. What are those? What are those rules yet? The point of the story that queenie wounded looking at the consistent reactions was. Yes. There's sometimes a line, their words. It could be parody. It could be commentary. And I think that's kinda wives social networks right now. Our little trapped in terms of like trap, but they're little befuddled in terms of how to deal with these videos. Right this content. Lastly, you want a review of a twenty seven inch Android tablet built into a GE oven hood, sticker price, only twelve hundred dollars a steel steel, would you want to put this thing on your oven plus side? Gotcha recipes and your YouTube videos on how great their in front of you in the pot. Yup. Downside putting all those Electric's right of an over. Yeah. Yeah. That's a little weird. The battery their power source. It's got all that, grease just like there's a lot of cleanup involved here. I don't know. It is on top of another hoods. Maybe. All right. That's one of the story. C J, Johnny. It's listening.

"Trade dispute there is news. The US government is imposing new duties on imports of stainless steel cakes as in the things that hold beer this after the Commerce Department determined that China Mexico and Germany were selling cakes at what it considers less than fair value. That's called dump. Ping? Marketplace's Justin hose been following this, Justin. Yeah. When the president imposed tariffs on steel aluminum last year companies that rely on steel aluminum started having to pay more companies like the American company. In fact, marketplace talked to the CEO Paul Zakar after the tariffs went into effect. I'm sure feeling distri needs some protection. But there's some unintended consequences for companies such as us that have competition that make imports. And on the US side, our costs for domestic steel is going to increase because of these towers. So American K company wound up petitioning the government for some protection. Specifically it asked the government to look into whether foreign competitors were selling cakes in the US at unfairly low prices this company got its way had did the Commerce Department says companies in Germany Mexico and China are dumping their kegs in the US. And so now there's a process in motion, the put new tariffs on those foreign beer, kegs so America wins. Well, the Commerce Department will make its final call in November, but I talked to Emily Blanchard at Dartmouth this morning. She says, there are a lot of other American companies that could make the same argument that they need tariff protection because of other tariffs. Suppose they do get hair protection and the price of tags goes up, and then the beer, manufacturers say, gosh, my costs of also gone up. I would also like trade protection. Where does it end? She says we know where it is. You and I pay more for. All right. Marketplace's Justin ho. Thank you. Let's check the numbers. The Dow Jones industrial average is up sixty four points three tenths percent. The SNP up five tenths percent. Similar percentage rise for the NASDAQ. There's news today of only the smallest revision downward to gross domestic product covering January to March. It's still a strong three point. One percent, annualized and embedded inflation. Reading was actually lower and many forecasters are predicting less brisk growth ahead faster. Internet speeds are officially a reality parts of the United Kingdom today, but the alacrity of fifth generation.

"The game. Teammates now sitting city Philadelphia. That's on me. I'll take sorry. No title applying. Just I wanted to me it is what is having to the best. I mean guys miss game winning shots technology time. And having said message. Live. You learn. Great team, Nicole. She's done. Phenomenal job form. We knew it was gonna be different than last time, Shannon. What was the difference? Yesterday. Eagles had an opportunity to deliver the Khuda Groff's give their fourteen nothing to get the ball back and Nick foles, skipped. He is not a check down guy. He doesn't do a lot of nibbling goes for the home run anywhere for the home run with Zakar it's under through the little bit. And Marshon Lattimore intercepted. He has small would in the flat. That would have given him a first down. And then I think the real turning point of the ball game. And just what we know about Sean Payton, he's always looking Steeler possession. Eagles died. No skill. They're thinking about this. They they're in the what we call a defense state punt safe. He leaves his defense on the field. Take a corner out. I mean, take a linebacker out skip and get the return in there. Just in case they put it so they got their expecting this. But you gotta give the saints credit because they were able to get enough push to let the upback get enough of the first down. They go down the field. They score. Touchdown. If you look at it. Nick foles in the first quarter skip he's eight of nine one hundred thirteen yards. Touchdown touchdown run. Emma touchdown ROY fourteen points, the final three quarters. He's ten of twenty to eighty eight yards to I t's he couldn't finish them. Now saints. Why you good homefield? You know, you fall down fourteen on the road more times than not is good night. Irene I know you don't know who I renamed, but it's good night. But they were at home crowd kept him in the game. They get that first down, but I can approximate. Sure, you you don't wanna tell too many times, you definitely don't wanna tempt fate with the ramp coming in. But what happened was is that you remember last just lik bowls went on. This is the eagles. And they went on this run. What could they also do run the football? They had the Garrett blunt. They had J Gye and they found the ball. So they get a lead. They found the ball with those two guys. They have no resemblance of a run game sixteen Russia forty nine yards. That's not nearly good enough and it allowed because you can. Throwing the ball throwing the ball. And you loud you read the get his rhythm before. I turned. If I want to know one thing. Eagles. How many times Michael Thomas twelve passes for buck? Seventy one touchdowns. How many times are you gonna let them run in cut skip? How many times they will run that route? They let them run to push up the twelve break in and catch the ball that fourteen how many times they let him do it. He's been doing all year long. I'll last night jobs moonlight. I'm over that time. I'll look at time. I'm looking like incurred again and cut all they run. It's your plan your plan Tampa to you vacate use a tiny a second receiver vacate the linebacker, and then he puts you coming. Do can you please? Maybe that's why drew Brees should win MVP. He's got one target and he just keeps going to the same. No, no skip skip..

"It looks like he's spreading the ball better than than locking in on Zakar almost every play the way Carson Wentz does. And all I know is what my eye tests told me about the NFC championship game against your Vikings at Philly in the Super Bowl. Those were to the greatest playoff games I've ever seen one quarterback play back to back in two big stage play that they were really good. And obviously Nichols. Outplayed Tom Brady and the Super Bowl to the point. He was the well this has never happened in the history of the National Football League. Then a Super Bowl MVP quarterback. Then went back to the sideline and had to watch Carson Wentz. After the first few games, obviously. Because it took Carson little while to get right? But but now you've got him looking over your shoulder. And I believe Doug Peterson got so desperate as they were teetering. Whereas I went to the Rams he just said I got to see what full. This can do. Where's here's the thing? Maybe I would be willing to agree with Leslie if Carson winters active on Sunday, see the now now, I'm more in line to agree with you because you like, okay, if he's active in easy dress and you can play. Why isn't he starting man? And who knows maybe that's the plan. Maybe there's like, you know, what we just go and shut him down. We're not gonna put it. We're not going to dress him. So therefore, it would keep some computer. Right. So if he's active on Sunday, and I'm going to guess, he will be active. Carson Wentz, you think. So then I believe we could have a musical quarterbacks thing. We're just going to go from series to series. See how wins place because they're hanging on by thread if they can manage to beat the Texans at home, they're still hanging right in. Did did we forget? I mean, they did score eighteen points opening against a Lanta. They scored twenty one points in a loss to Tampa. So let's not pretend like Mick bowls had put a forty and forty in back to back games. Right. Okay. Which is start the year to year. Okay. Remember that first game against Atlanta last just give Atlanta had three cracks but went into the end zone and win the game. All right. But I thought they were Super Bowl hangover for this team early. And I thought they had some key camp in preseason injuries. And they didn't look like themselves to open the year, they weren't the underdogs anymore and by the way. Now, they're going to do some weird thing with ski masks or something you read about this like because they're robbing people games like they're gonna go steal games. So now, they're they're wearing ski masks before the game. I don't know. That's what hit me on my. Hey coffee. Whatever it takes man. Whatever take well, how desperate they are. All I need to do. I won't have to do something special for meals. Okay. Well, they might they're they're highly capable James. I love games. He's highly capable not have weapons still got that guy named Sean. Right. I can see that Jay with on the what's going on with. But that's look skip and see this. What you try to do well to create dissension in the eagles locker room. That's what you're trying just thought from the start that Nick foles plays the position of quarterback better than Carson Wentz. That's all I know. And Carson Wentz is turning into a turnover machine because he's tied for second in the NFL with six loss fumbles. So he's become like Dak is too. But he's he's even worse than back this year in Las fumbles. Well, he is I don't know. Well, what you try see what you're trying to? I'm trying. Is your position better? No, no skill. We'll have you ever seen this in the history of the NFL those those two games he played excuse me. If you watch the NFL, you started the NFL long enough, you're going to see something you probably never seen before. So this is an anomaly, and it's not like it was Jeff Hostetler going in for Phil Simms, and they kind of did game management. Let's let's mostly hand the ball off and percentage this Nick foles bombs away man in the Super Bowl. He just let fly and he features alshon to me. Again. If I'm rooting against the eagles, I fear Al Sean, more than I fear..

It's not about that. You know, when when you think about like, I say the Cowboys are running team. Yeah. They will run the football because really Amari Cooper has made a big difference with that football team. And you know that like you said now they can play action. They've got the bite on in football. You just take that one step that once you beat of you beat twenty four twenty eagles and on Monday number one first place in the NFC east will be. Cry eagles crying on my you'll be. You gotta talk about a call you need to get real JC gay watch. What you do? I know you already predicted the first thing I'm gonna talk about is bounce to them wins. Because. Mistake. One mistake in this game. It is going to be monumental is going to shift the momentum and shift the balance of power in the NFC east back to Dallas. Where rightfully belongs. And I'll be the first this will be a battle. It'll be classic NFC east because the Philadelphia Eagles are still the defending Super Bowl champs fighting for their lives. So they gotta win this game. Got to got to is an absolute must but douse will win this game. I'm gonna go with the same score. It was in Philadelphia twenty seven to twenty and I'm still not exactly sure how Dallas turned saved season by winning twenty seven to twenty Philadelphia. Because my number one concern as I said earlier in the show, I got three of them Zakar Zakar Zakar arts. He's everywhere. He kills Dallas. He caught fourteen balls for one hundred and forty five yards and two touchdowns at Philadelphia to those are career. It was his career best game. Season-highs across the board. In fact, those are the best tied in numbers in the last four years in the National Football League Zach ertz is against Dallas at Philadelphia, and they still manage no catch. With a high sixteen targets for fourteen catches. Yeah. Okay. All right. I'll sixteen but that's well, I asked him it was at a big game. He said, no. I'd have eighty. Eighty. Okay. So you're saying you're better than Zachary. I don't know. You think you could outrun Zakar? It's right now, no really window. You could probably. I know I know. Let's get back to back back back find the day today. So I'm trying to figure out if they're going to have a new plan for Zakar because every time it's third and seven I just say cover eighty six Carson Wentz is co dependent on eighty six their best friends. It's his security blanket. It's by far his favorite receiver. He's caught. So many more targets than anybody on the team. It's just it's like a joke. How many more why would you want to change the plan the play last time it worked? I think all those ball. What you want the classic case. Just let him eat stop everybody. You know, where do you really care? They didn't really have golden Tate. It was his first game in Philadelphia. And he just caught a couple of balls. Now, they got golden Tate who torched Dallas when he was with Detroit on September thirtieth. You think so is that your prediction twenty four twenty. I'm we got a case ONA to we got seven cases on it. Right. Got three on Dallas. When in the east you got three on Philadelphia. Win in the east, and we got an extra case just on Sunday on a lot of cases. I'm gonna say let's give Moscow was twenty seventeen Dallas. But I gotta say this. Now the Cowboys getting the off just by chance if they come here to play the Rams skill. You've got to promise me, you won't go to the game with me. Enjoyed just for this day. He goes where? "He busy today. Tinti stadium was back in week four when the Cowboys hosted and defeated the Detroit Lions he had a big day caught every single one of his targets Matthew Stafford who again on the subject of things that you probably do not know played baseball was Clayton Kershaw way back when at Highland Park. But. Golden take goddess I touch the eagles on the night. It does seem like he and Carson Wentz or developing some chemistry. That is something. You definitely do not want to see if you're a Cowboys fan. I also think the Darren sproles answer is a very legitimate one Darren sproles kind of heating up a little bit on the season. And I think that you look at this those three guys obviously led by Carson Wentz as fourth those guys make the Philly offense. Kind of scary kind of scary in the context of the fact that the Cowboys limited the New Orleans Saints offense to one hundred seventy six yards and ten points last week by a performance. It's very difficult to replicate. I think what this comes down to is. I think if you're the Cowboys late and Vander ash, he's all over dance roles. And I know that sounds ridiculous. But he did a fantastic job of neutralizing Alvin Kamara I think that Zakar it's kind of the guy Zakar is a guy who are going to have to double team to a degree because that is a machine when it comes to how he plays football games. And he is going to be the. The reason that the eagles win if they do in fact Zakar it's had a big game. The last time the Cowboys play the eagles just a month ago. So Zach ertz is by far. He's Carson Wentz his favorite target. He is the man to stop for the Dallas Cowboys that is going to be very difficult. Another answer that we've got in terms of not Cowboys. He goals that you are afraid of was Fletcher Cox, and that is obviously if antastic answer when you think about that because what he has done not just the Cowboys. But to the NFL whole his arguably the best defensive tackle in the game. That was when exhibit sue kind of announced himself to the world was how he handled Fletcher Cox, and he lost a lot. We're coming off a game. We're Dak Prescott was sacked seven times against the New Orleans Saints. So Fletcher Cox is definitely somebody who the Cowboys going to have to pay attention to. That's why this rest they got for Tyron Smith for Xavier sufi, low, etc. Was very very very important as dangerous as Zach arts and Carson Wentz and Darren sproles and golden paid Now Sean Jeffrey, whoever you wanna throw in as dangerous as they all are. I think that we all have a level of confidence in the Cowboys defense. So again as dangerous as they are. Maybe you feel like well the Cowboys defense is going to do their thing. The guy who really has a chance to wreck this game is Fletcher Cox because Fletcher Cox we've seen Prescott fumble a few times if he gets in there. He causes a weird play kind of like that Prescott in Washington. The fumble recovered from touchdown. Those are the plays that swing game. So Fletcher Cox while I know that he's one of the only place we're talking about here. Fletcher Cox has the largest ability. To swing this game on his own. I don't think that even Carson Wentz has that same power because we know how tepid to be nice. The Cowboys offense has been so Fletcher, Cox, definitely probably D number one most dangerous Philadelphia eagle head into stadium. This Sunday, by the way, and we've said this a lot, but it is worth mentioning that the last time the eagles where aid Dinty stadium. It was the worst loss eight stadiums. History for the Cowboys thirty seven to nine the Cowboys have never lost that validates stadium before. So they certainly have a lot to avenge. This game is huge..

"KYW's? Ed Bankin is at the game. And he's got more for us. Ed. Well, are the most important quarter of the season is underway for the eagles in his tied at thirteen with twelve fifty five on the fourth, but Dallas's driver. They have the ball out. The eagles ten yard line with a second and five the eagles trailed at half time in this game. There was some booze as they left the field that were down thirteen to three after a long drive by the Cowboys right before the end of the half. The eagles did come out to start the third quarter. Got a field goal after three and out by Jake Kelly from twenty six yards out and that cut the Dallas leave the thirteen to six after the Cowboys. Fred Maher miss a forty two yard field goal. The eagles went on a ten play sixty eight yard drive Zakar captured off with fifteen or touchdown. Catch that tied the game with thirteen. However as I said Dallas is driving in the red zone. Now inside the eagles ten yard line. Also lost quarterback Ronald Darby. He is now out for the game. With a knee injury. Carson wentz. Eighteen for twenty two hundred two yards. Josh Adams, the eagles leading rusher. Thirty six yards on the ground. Meanwhile, another big game for eight catches seventy nine yards. So Dallas now with a thirty two and the eagles seven twelve. Twelve minutes to go fourth quarter RJ. It's a tight one tied at thirteen and it is an important game. Because the red Redskins beat the Tampa Bay bucks. Earlier today. "Over sixty three receiving yards. Despite a twenty percent target chair by comparison will fuller only had a seventeen percent target chair. Look if you have Thomas you're holding onto him barring being bowled over in a trade opera by Texans, die hard. But I don't see them as anything more than a flex option with the Texans at least for the next few weeks. He gets used to the new offense as for golden Tate. The eagles requiring him to improve in the slot in theory, reducing Nelson Agla fantasy relevance. Remember Tate was getting a twenty eight percent targets here in Detroit. Just don't see how that could possibly keep up the Philadelphians. We've got Sean Jeffrey Zakar as the clear number one. And number two targets all them will see their target share reduced, but Jeffrey and certainly less than the twenty eight percent that Tate was getting expected to be somewhere in the seventeen to nineteen percent target share. Remember Carson Wentz? Led the NFL with sixteen touchdowns the slot last year compared to only one this year. Okay. So my guess is we're not sure if Tate will be lining up in the slot or he'll be outside. But certainly. Hurts Nelson Adler is value with all the other options there and the time it's gonna take to learn the offense. Remember he's on a by this week. So that helps they'll have in a week there. You won't have take in your lineup this week because Phillies on a by this week. It's clear that Golden State who's never been a big touchdown score his career. He's always been a volume guy. Now that the volume is less. Philadelphia is much more of a wide receiver three or flex option than the wide receiver to he was in Detroit, certainly Marvin Jones and Kenny golsby's value goes up. It'll be interesting TJ Jones gets more run in Detroit. But if you're Texans are eagles fan, you're happy about today's deals. But if you have Thomas Tate and fantasy I'm not sure that today is a totally happy day remains shipping. Time Montgomery to Baltimore Washington, adding safety ha ha Clinton Dix as well. On read shoulder if it weren't for the Lou Keithly photo that would have been the best photo from the game. It was it was it's definitely up there. Like, you said there's there's definitely room to play with added intensity. Like, Luke plays very angry that you can't get to where you have like a separate agenda beyond the sport. Like, you can't get in your head where you're like, I gotta send a message outside of like just winning the game. You know, like where I gotta make some extra hits. I hit a little harder. I got a job with them a little bit. Like, you can't lose your focus. And I thought he lot leg the first half. He seemed very unfocused the second half to reel it in. But I definitely was not it was trying to do too much. I also would like to address the fact that the Panthers thought it was a good idea to put happen model and on Zakar a few times. Little head scratcher. Yeah. That wasn't very smart. I think Zakar had what was it two hundred eighty yards? Not quote, something like that. It is ridiculous still over one hundred guards which is Greg Olsen. And they gave him free releases one hundred thirty eight game despite them coming out and saying they didn't want to do that most of the game. Smokescreen? Maybe the eagles won't see us about crossing him coming. I don't know. Exactly, it's it's like this like, you know, how like when you like, I don't know if you like expect a step, and you say take away stepping like lose your balance like Zakar, it's is gonna expect to be jammed at the line, and he's just gonna like one four follow over because he's expecting somebody to contest them. Maybe that was the shadow Javy. Did not work than work. Where else? L? There's one thing though, we talk about pressing the couple times bradberry try to press up on Shaun any murdered. So that was not not good for the we need to press more crowded. Strange to me struggled so much all Sean Jeffrey when he's done better against like AJ green and Julio Jones, we're better wide receivers. News flash alshon, Jeffery better than both of those guys. Now your game. For the most part bradberry. Did a good job of staying like in Jeffries hip around his proxy, all out Shaw, Jeffrey's. Yeah. But alshon. This is really good at the catch point. He is. I mean, I was joking. When I said he's better than green and what's his face. But and Julio, but he he is really good at contesting the ball. Like, that's his his biggest strength. He's what we want Devin funchess and Kelvin Benjamin d right? Like, that's what I'll Sean is is the more so Kelvin Benjamin because Devon's more fluid like, yeah. Yeah. Al-shall is what we wanted. Kev. Kelvin Benjamin to be and Benjamin is he looks like eight alshon, but he's just not. So another thing Mario ad. Appears to be a little banged up after Sunday. And he's by far the Panthers. Most productive pass rusher right now. Not good. Not good. I he says it's going to play though, he said he's got hit in the back. Yeah. He came back for a little bit. The Panthers best pass rusher. When out like that like, they don't really have somebody who can answer the call like eagle?.

"So I fourth-round let's say you're at the top of the fourth round. These are the running backs according to ADP that you could be choosing from Alex Collins JJ Kenyan Drake, Rashad, penny. Those are the fourth round running backs. It's t- it's a j. j. j. it is to me as well. Let me ask you on more question before we move onto the next team in our NFC's breakdown while maybe more than one question, but let me ask you this one. I. Is there any value in Dallas there Goddard you keep saying you're saying. That's the same. Just want people to know. We know it's Dallas Goddard there's value the way the trae Burton had value no act year. I know about you. Yes. If Zakar, it's MRs time, then Dallas it who was my number one tight end coming into the draft as far as fantasy. Football is concerned. He went to close to the worst possible place because he will be behind Zakar. I don't think there's enough to go around for two tight ends to have significant fantasy value. I will. I'm bummed, I would not be shocked and it would be a little bit more surprising this season, but I would not be shocked based on Doug Peterson, always using his personnel to where it develops more into a two wide receiver cronk to gronk Aaron Hernandez situation. I think Dallas got her is diamond pick interesting. He is. I actually just made a trade offer for him. I think yesterday we, I also before I leave and we talk about the Cowboys. I'm gonna circle back to car. And wins here. Carson Wentz his absence at the end of the season before the Super Bowl is one of the reasons why I don't see Philly as much as as as much of a candidate for a Super Bowl slump as other teams in the past, Matt Ryan, with the monster season throughout the year Cam Newton. I think there's a chip on the shoulder of Carson. Winston come back and prove that he is everything that we saw for the first part of the year. But my point is lot of new listeners now joining us in August. We've talked a lot about the fact that Carson Wentz put up numbers from touchdown efficiency standpoint that really cannot be replicated over the course of a career. But Carson Wentz still has upside. Where do you guys see him falling in in terms of the top ten fifteen quarterbacks just from a statistical standpoint? Yes, he can't sustain maybe as that, you know, throwing tush on every other pass type of guy, but where do you think he can fall? What's his range of outcomes this season for fantasy owners? Kenny, finished in the top three still? Yes. His range of outcomes. Why Carson Wentz won't be on my teams is that range of outcomes. I've talked about his touchdown percentage of of the seven percent. It's is just bound to fall by at least two percent eight. I know he was fantastic this past year, and it was comparing him to his rookie season either. It's very different..

"How likely is it that zakar berg himself will testify before congress he sounds a little cagey there i think it's possible i think in general they would prefer to send somebody else for a variety of reasons and i think you know the headlines we saw were zakar berg willing to testify and not enough attention paid to the asterisk or the but here which is if he's the right person so i think it's still possible i think you know facebook will weigh the optics of it the importance of sending him versus the benefits of sending somebody else in addition to the point he raised about who's technic kley best suited zeca also did an interview with recode and something he said there was he talked about his discomfort and being an arbiter of permissible and impermissible speech tell us more about what he said there sure so this relates to the broader issue that facebook is facing of how do you decide what content should be allowed on the site and you know on one hand it's very understandable you know the idea of what speech is permissible shouldn't necessarily be left up to anyone company and i think that's part of the point that he's making i think the complexity here is that facebook did create its platform so it certainly responsible for policing it that doesn't necessarily mean it alone should set the standards i think there are ways where a variety of constituencies could help facebook right the rules but i think facebook is ultimately responsible for policing it and i think too often this gets cast as either companies are the arbiter of free speech or they do nothing and i don't think it needs to be that.
