How Can Parents Push Back Against Chemical Castration Drugs?
"We as parents push back if our kids go to government schools on our kids possibly getting chemical castration drugs? I'm very worried about this. Thanks so much. This is something that's a huge problem. And it's happening more and more. Biden assistant secretary for health, Levine, said that we need to empower kids to go on puberty blockers. So let me be very clear. If America had a any ounce of sanity, Richard Levine would be court martialed and arrested and have to post bail for saying something like this. In fact, I believe Richard Levine should be arrested. For the widespread promotion of child abuse for saying this, play cut 64. So we really want to debase our treatment and to affirm and to support an empower these youth not to limit their participation in activities and sports. And even a limit their ability to get gender affirmation treatment in their state. How is that how is that any different than someone saying on television? We need to have young kids on cocaine and heroin. How is that any different? You are pushing life altering chemical castration drugs that show to increase depression, suicide rates, self harm, social isolation, outside of parental guidance and support. The direct quote is we need to empower kids to go on puberty blockers and get sexual reassignment surgery. You know the only community that really likes that pharmaceutical companies because that's a gold mine of the therapists, not doing therapy. They're doing affirmation therapy, which is the opposite of therapy, and kicking it on over to kids. Here is a bunch of drugs. Here's a bunch of chemicals. Yeah, you might want to kill yourself, be super depressed and anxious. Don't worry, we have Xanax benzodiazepines, and we have all these other drugs for you. But that comes later. It's a massive pharmaceutical cocktail that gets controlled by Pfizer estrogenic and Moderna and all the others.

The US Military Is Struggling to Meet Its 2022 Recruiting Goals
"Is one of our great successes as a nation, strongest military ever to exist in the history of the world. NBC News. Every branch of the military is struggling to make its 2022 recruiting calls, officials say. With record low number of Americans eligible to serve, and few of those willing to do it, it's quote, is this the year, the question of sustainability of the all volunteer force. I wonder why. These people. It's an intentional destruction of the U.S. Military. That's what they've been doing. Every branch of the U.S. Military is struggling to meet its fiscal year 2022 recruiting goals. The official said The Pentagon top leaders are now scrambling for ways to find new recruits to fill out the ranks of the all volunteer force, defense secretary Lloyd Austin and deputy secretary Kathleen hicks consider the shortfall is serious issue. Yeah, maybe you should have thought of that before you wanted to mandate an experimental gene therapy and kick out active duty personnel, which Republicans did nothing to oppose. This is a start of a long drought for military recruiting, said retired general Thomas spore of the heritage foundation. He said the military has had not such a hard time signing recruits since 1973. Quote, 2022 is the year we questioned the sustainability of the all volunteer force. Now that NBC News article continues and they say, oh, it's because of the psychological trauma quote they think they're going to be physically or emotionally broken after serving. That's not why. I'll tell you why it's happening. Two things. They don't want to take in a vaccine against their will, and they don't want to serve under this. Put that on screen. Rachel Levine and the new LGBTQIA+ regime in our military and also people want to enlist in a military that plays to win Afghanistan was a humiliation. From Lloyd Austin and Mark milley.

"An <Speech_Male> <Speech_Music_Male> <Silence> <Advertisement> <SpeakerChange> extent to <Speech_Male> which. I do <Speech_Music_Male> try to write things that are <Speech_Music_Male> clearer to people who are coming <Speech_Music_Male> to it for the first time, <Speech_Male> and particularly <Speech_Male> the first <Speech_Male> section they'll be <Speech_Male> like a long conceptual <Speech_Male> explanation of something. <Silence> <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> I would hope that <Speech_Male> a person who's <Speech_Male> never heard of me could read <Speech_Male> that and be like, oh, this is interesting. <Speech_Music_Male> <Silence> But no, a lot of it is <Speech_Male> like <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> one sentence. I say <Speech_Male> there's a bunch of times, here's <Speech_Music_Male> another example, you know? <Speech_Music_Male> And so <Speech_Music_Male> it's definitely like, <Silence> <Advertisement> I think <Speech_Male> <Advertisement> it is, <Speech_Male> <Advertisement> I think it is more fun <Speech_Music_Male> <Advertisement> to read if you read it <Speech_Male> <Advertisement> every day. <SpeakerChange> Or at <Speech_Male> least many days. <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> Are there any sort of larger <Speech_Male> projects <Speech_Male> that you've <Speech_Male> dreamt about doing? <Speech_Male> Or do you <Speech_Male> want to do anything <Speech_Music_Male> different than <Speech_Male> coming out with this newsletter? <Speech_Male> It <Speech_Male> must be difficult once you've <Speech_Male> sort of found a format <Speech_Male> that works really well <Speech_Male> for you to <Speech_Male> think about <SpeakerChange> doing <Silence> anything other than that format. <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> Yeah, <Speech_Male> I'm really tired, but <Speech_Male> I really like the newsletter <Speech_Music_Male> format. It's <Speech_Music_Male> hard to do it every day <Speech_Music_Male> or four days or <Speech_Male> whatever. But <Silence> I really like it. <Speech_Male> It's like <Silence> <Advertisement> it kind of fits <Speech_Male> <Advertisement> my <Speech_Male> metabolism. <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> I would have a hard time writing <Speech_Male> a weekly column or <Speech_Music_Male> whatever, right? <Speech_Male> And I <Speech_Male> <Advertisement> really like being in people's <Speech_Male> inboxes every day. I <Speech_Male> <Advertisement> really like sort of the immediate <Speech_Male> <Advertisement> feedback. I really <Speech_Male> like if <Speech_Male> I say something <Speech_Male> that I'm like, oh, I'd miss <Speech_Male> the nuance there. I can <Speech_Male> just write it tomorrow, <Speech_Male> you know? <Speech_Male> It's really, <Speech_Music_Male> it's a good format <Speech_Music_Male> for me. <Speech_Male> And <Speech_Music_Male> it seems to be <Speech_Music_Male> working and <Speech_Music_Male> <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> to be in <Speech_Male> this weird newsletter, boom, <Speech_Male> to where people <Speech_Male> like getting newsletters, <Speech_Male> and so I'm <Speech_Male> happy to do it. I do <Speech_Male> <Advertisement> feel like I had to write a book <Speech_Male> <Advertisement> because I don't have written <Speech_Male> <Advertisement> a book. And <Silence> <Advertisement> I do think that <Speech_Male> <Advertisement> <Speech_Male> where I'm coming from <Speech_Male> for a book would be something <Speech_Male> like those <Speech_Male> conceptual <Speech_Male> framings of financial <Speech_Male> topics that begin <Speech_Male> some newsletters <Speech_Male> and trying to <Speech_Male> take a further step back <Speech_Male> and try to try to explain <Speech_Male> a large chunk of <Speech_Male> the financial system in some <Speech_Music_Male> way that is <Speech_Male> conceptual and intuitive <Speech_Male> and accessible <Speech_Male> to people without <Speech_Male> a lot of <Speech_Male> background knowledge, but that <Speech_Male> also <Speech_Male> tells people <Speech_Male> in finance, something <Speech_Male> about themselves, <Speech_Male> where they can be like, yeah, I hadn't <Speech_Male> thought about it that way, but <Speech_Male> stepping back at <Speech_Music_Male> a high level, <Speech_Male> that's right. <Speech_Music_Male> <Speech_Music_Male> That's kind of like <Speech_Male> the dream <Speech_Male> for a book project. <Speech_Male> But <Speech_Male> I haven't written any yet, <Speech_Male> so <Speech_Male> <Advertisement> basically I <Speech_Male> <Advertisement> wake up and type in a box <Speech_Male> and I <Speech_Male> do that every day, <SpeakerChange> and that's <Speech_Male> still pretty fun <Speech_Male> for me. <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> Thank you so much for this <Speech_Male> interview. "I'm here with my co host on this program. Evan ratliff and max linsky. Hey Aaron, you guys, I'm in a very old house and there's a very creaky door. So if you hear that creaky door, it's not a ghost, you guys. It's not a ghost. There's a frozen image of max on the screen right now. He's in sort of a grandmother Lee bedroom. I would describe it. And he's going to be trapped there forever because he was lured into a sinister vortex. Somewhere in upstate New York. Are we turning this into one of those horror fiction podcasts? Yes. If there's one thing I've always wanted to do with my career, it's to get into horror podcasting. Who did you just do a normal long podcast with this week? I did a normal regular old long form podcast with someone whose work. I have very much consumed almost every day. Matt Levine, he is the author of the money stuff newsletter, which Bloomberg puts out. It's kind of like where I know everything I know about Wall Street and finance from. I've read it for many years. A lot of my friends read it, and I talk about it with them. We get into this interview, so I won't step on it here, but one of the things that is notable about this newsletter is that this newsletter is thousands of words long and comes out in the first part of the day every day. About news that has occurred often less than 24 hours ago. So I wanted to talk to Matt about the production of this newsletter, how you actually get something like that out and how you have the longevity to continue doing so every week for a decade. What a grind, man. What a grind. Much like we've been doing this show every week for almost a decade. And we only have to do like every third show. Yeah. Yeah, it's really, it's the soft weekly that we have going on here. We should also mention listeners who pay close attention will know that Evan has done not even an episode every three weeks for several months because he's been working on a podcast and it came out this week. It's called persona, the French deception, the last time I looked at the Apple podcast charts, I believe it was that number four. Wow. It's climbing those charts. People should go and listen to it. Go subscribe. I'll put it in the show notes. Could our audience be the ones who push it from number four to number one? I think they could. Tell a frat. People for years have been talking about what I like to call the long form bump and I think this is, I think this is the moment. This is the moment for Evan to experience the long form bump. Let's say the name of the show again so that people can find it in their podcast app. Evan, what is the name of this podcast you made? The show is called persona, the French deception. It's basically about one of the biggest, certainly the most creative international scammer of the 21st century. That's really all I needed to hear to want to listen to this program. I have not heard it yet. I've been my two co hosts have quietly both done some labor on this one. One of my co hosts, a tremendous amount of labor, and I'm very, very excited to hear it. We're brought to you in partnership with vox media who help us produce the show. Thanks to everyone at vox. And now here's Aaron with Matt Levine. Hello, Matt Levine. Thanks for having me. I wanted to have you on the show for a while. And every time I think of asking you on, I then get your newsletter and my box and I realized you were probably like busy that day. You're a difficult person to think about when you might have a free day to come on a podcast. I get asked on podcasts most often when I'm most busy writing, you know. Everyone have me come on to talk about Elon and the days of Elon is doing stuff for the days they want me on in the days I'm writing about Elon. So it's hard to do. I feel like this is a little different. Yeah, so I get your newsletter in my inbox. Is it 5 days a week, it comes out, I want to say? It's more like four. It used to be 5. It's gotten a little more relaxed. If I don't note what day it is, I would have thought it comes 5 days a week. And your newsletter is, I would say, generally in the four to 5000 word range, like a magazine feature range that is that accurate. It's long form. Yeah. As we are talking, it is ten O 5 a.m. eastern standard time. Have you already written a newsletter today? I think it is today I'm not ready. Sort of like a summer Fridays. So in some ways, this encounter would be impossible if you were writing a newsletter today. I do sometimes do things in the sort of mid afternoon, but no, it's tight, it's tight, 'cause like the newsletter, ideally it comes out at noon and frequently does not come out at noon. And so if it comes out at like two, that means I'm working frantically until two. And then starting at like four, it's pretty much picking up the kids time. So there's like a tight window on most days.

"Today, we're going to be looking at the 2017 movie from director Christopher Nolan, Dunkirk. To help us separate fact from fiction, we'll be chatting with the historical consultant on the film and author of Dunkirk, the history behind the major motion picture. Joshua Levine. Before we chat with Joshua, it's time to set up our game. Two truths and a lie. If you're new to the show, here's how it works. I'm about to say three things. Two of them are true. And that means one of them, it's an all out lie. Are you ready? Okay, here they are. Number one, the senior most surviving officer from the Titanic helped in the Dunkirk evacuation. Number two, Churchill didn't expect anyone to evacuate from Dunkirk. Number three, people not in the navy who took their boats signed a form to become temporary members of the Royal Navy. Got them? Okay, now as you're listening to our story today, your challenge is to find the two facts scattered somewhere throughout the episode. Maybe it'll be obvious. Maybe not. Can you find out which one is a lie? We'll do a recap at the end of the episode to see how well you did. All right, now it's time to chat with Joshua Levine about the historical accuracy of Dunkirk. Everyone.
Why Charlie Was Banned From Twitter and Didn't Grovel To Get Back On
"I want to talk about a couple of things in particular, and then we can go into some Q&A, which is obviously the most fun part of all this. So I don't have a Twitter account currently. So I got banned from Twitter. You might know this. So this has been one of the most interesting unexpected news cycles in my whole ten years of doing this. So I got banned from Twitter for participating in dead naming. Do you guys know what dead naming is? Okay, I didn't know before I tweeted. So here's one of the things and I'm technically suspended from Twitter, not banned just to get the words correctly. We'll get into what that means. So here's how you know you're living in kind of a tyrannical moment. When you can't keep track of all the rules that you're supposed to follow, I mean, if you're like me, I can't keep track of all of them, right? They're going to kick you out of a social club or social media because you're like, wait, what even is that? So I tweeted out, I think a month ago about the current health czar, a person by the name calls themselves the name Rachel Levine, whatever, okay? And I said this person used to have a name Richard Levine for 54 years of their life and then transitioned. Okay, whatever. And I said that in a tweet and then you can't even use the name that used to exist, right? Can't do that. It's called dead naming, so you lose your account for that. And then in kind of like a Soviet show trial way, Twitter comes out and they say, okay, in order to get your Twitter account back, you have to admit that you violated our hate speech policies and press the delete button. So we very well could have done that. But happened to the Babylon B like two days before that. And then it happened to us. And I thought to myself, you know, I traveled to these events all across the country. And I tell young people involved at turning point USA, you know, it's worth fighting for conservative values. But it might cost you

Charlie Kirk Details Being Banned From Twitter
"So I'm banned from Twitter, everybody. If you haven't heard. So we're going to walk through that. I actually haven't spoken very much about it publicly to podcasts or two on it. And it's on a very interesting thing. So the way Twitter works, if you don't know, if you violate one of their guidelines, they give you an opportunity to delete the tweet. Basically, okay, engaged in hate speech, you can get your Twitter account back. And so we logged onto our Twitter account, we're like, wait, why don't we have access to our Twitter account anymore? So I tweeted this out and I want to just anyone to tell me if there's anything inaccurate about this tweet. Richard Levine spent 54 years of his life as a man. He had a wife and a family, he transitioned to being a woman in 2011, Joe Biden then appointed Levine to be a four star admiral and is now USA Today has named Rachel Levine as woman of the year true where the feminists, right? Perfectly factual, but now I engaged in something called dead naming. Are you familiar with this phenomenon? No, I had to learn it alongside. Everyone else, including our millions of followers. So dead naming is when you use the name that used to exist of someone who's trans. And super politically incorrect, I guess. You're like not even allowed to mention the birth name anymore. It's now called dead naming. So I guess you can't call like Muhammad Ali cassius clay anymore. Or anyone who's ever changed their name ever. And so because of this Twitter basically says, okay, you're no longer allowed to have access to your account. You have to acknowledge and bend the knee and tell the rest of the world that you engaged in hate speech. And there's just like big red button that says, you can press delete. And look, it's very tempting. You know, we used to do a lot on Twitter. And I thought to myself, you know what, every single semester, I'm traveling, I'm talking to college kids telling them to hold the line that it's worth the cost that you might lose Friends. I'm like, what a hypocrite, I would be. If I just press that red button and told Twitter, like, you know, I did something wrong. Meanwhile, keep fighting on campus, everybody, and see you later. You know what? No, actually

"And I don't think we have a good idea about that. You know, what's actually causal versus just correlative. It's just an outcome of aging that we can observe. In my lab we're really interested in epigenetics. And that's mostly because I think of the epigenetic system as the operating system of a cell. So most of the cells in your body have essentially the same DNA, but what makes something a neuron or a brain cell or a skin cell is the epigenetic program. So it gives the cells the ability to respond to stress. It gives them almost their kind of physical form. And all of the things that they are supposed to do. The problem is that this program gets completely rewritten with aging. And we don't know exactly why, whether it's errors or whether it's just the program kind of having glitches along the way. But we think that then produces cells that are not adapting correctly to their environment or maybe doing things they shouldn't be doing and potentially this is something we think might cause aging. Although there's still some debate on whether it's truly causal in the aging process. And I would say no one really knows yet what the true causes are. Can you, since your research really does focus on the epigenetic alterations? Can you explain to people what epigenetic aging clocks are generally speaking and then maybe we can get into some of the differences between the first generation epigenetic agent clocks like Corvette clock and then second generation like Levine or Pheno age that's also called and grim age. So absolutely. So there are a bunch of different types of epigenetic modifications, but the type that these clocks are based on is something called CPG methylation or DNA methylation. And really what that means.

"Altos labs has been the press quite a bit recently for bringing together pioneers of epigenetics, epigenetic clocks and tissue reprogramming. Doctor Levine, as an expert in the field of epigenetics, brings much to the table here, which I suspect should make this episode and enjoyable one for many. Doctor Levine's research background is in the study of epigenetic aging with the goal of trying to understand the underlying mechanisms that cause aging. To paraphrase doctor Levine, epigenetics in many ways is the operating system of the cell. While all of our cells essentially have the same DNA, the epigenetic program is largely what imbues our cells with their identity, whether that's a skin cell or a neuron. This program, which gets rewritten as we age, also gives ourselves characteristics that differentiate them from those of a younger person, such as the ability to withstand stress, and more. So it's important to recognize that our epigenetics respond at least to some degree to environmental inputs. In other words, to how we live. A word of advice if avoiding unnecessary epigenetic age acceleration is your goal. Avoid harmful habits like smoking in particular and prioritize keeping a healthy body weight. These 2 may be big smoking guns when it comes to accelerated epigenetic aging. In this episode, doctor Levine and I discuss how aging is defined, what the hallmarks of aging are and what doctor Levine thinks may be the key drivers of aging. What epigenetic aging means, how it is measured by different types of epigenetic clocks. And how these different clocks can be used for different predictive purposes, such as identifying chronological age, biological age, and even time to death. Why some people age faster or slower than others. How Levine's Pheno age epigenetic aging clock can quantify that and how that compares to other clinical biomarkers used to measure biological aging. Whether epigenetic aging is a cause or an effect of aging or enticingly.

Democrats Are About to Expose a Great Political Exodus
"Democrats and the left are about to expose one of the great political exoduses we're ever going to see. Leading up to the 2016 election, it was conceived to be impossible for Republicans to win white, working class voters, specifically in Ohio and Pennsylvania. They are now the base of the Republican Party. The muscular class is the strongest part of the Republican Party. It's changed dramatically, in the case in just 6 to 8 years. Largely because Democrats have gone so socially woke, but also thanks to the pro American policies, pro American immigration policies that made the base of the Republican Party that old base of the Democrat party, which happened almost overnight. And so you have Ricardo Levine, you have William Thomas winning national championships, you have Disney acting like men and women have no differences in contagion Brown Jackson saying she doesn't know what a woman is. I'm going to make an argument. And it's a really good sign, I believe. This is happening so fast. It's so rapid. It's so hyper aggressive. That there is an opportunity the same way that Donald Trump won over white working class voters. That traditional older legit feminists are going to start to push back against the Democrat party. We're already starting to see this with Cara Danske who was a guest on our program with a TBN special that we did. We're already starting to see the early signs of a mass defection from the Democrat party. This is not popular. It just isn't. It's not popular to kick people off Twitter because they dead name somebody, whatever that means.
We're Witnessing the Age of Transgender Tyranny
"Living through something that is an accelerated pace of change around a topic quite honestly that my opinions are very strong on, but I don't want to spend nearly as much time as I'm spending on this topic. I just don't. It's a very important topic. It's one of the most important topics because they're making it important, but it's not exactly in my personal opinion. The thing I want to just labor over and over again, but we're leaving really us no choice. And that is this entire topic of what is a man and what is a woman. They're forcing the hand. And it's in the last week, you know, I sat down with our team, I said, what a week. I mean, the last week we have Thomas, who has won the NCAA championship as a biological man, won the women's swimming national championship. That happened. And if you even spoke out against it, or if you push back against it, you would be potentially banned from social media, ridiculed the media just kind of acted like this was totally normal, perfectly fine. So that happened, I got banned from Twitter a couple days ago for not even misgendering somebody but dead naming somebody, dead naming, essentially, is using the name that a trans person had before they transitioned, somehow it's a form of harassment to dead name somebody. To use the name from someone's birth certificate, and by the way, I wrote it on March 15th, and I was banned on the 22nd. And so you have Thomas who wins the NCAA championship as a man and we're all just supposed to accept it. You have Ricardo Levine. Is that his name? Ricardo or Richard or what? Is it Richard? Ricardo Levine, kidding. Find rich. I'm not dead naming if I say Ricardo, right? Rachel, whatever. Levine. Which were supposed to act as if it's perfectly normal. It's fine who basically calls out the alphabet mafia schwarze or shock troops to come into the streets of Twitter and just purge anyone that dares dead names them.
Judge Jackson Not Defining 'Woman' Is the Perfect Progressive Answer
"I will, though, point out as a living breathing, I think, fairly rational and intelligent talk show host on the radio, we have a Supreme Court Justice nominee who is willing to put on the record her acknowledgment that she doesn't know what a woman is. She doesn't know how to define a woman. And in a sense, that's the perfect woke answer. She knows that's a progressive answer. Period. You hear all these people. You hear all these people being suspended and kicked off Twitter and banned from YouTube and they're shutting anybody down. The Babylon bee? Jokingly awarding Rachel Levine, man of the year award out. You're done. No humor there, you're out. You're guilty of hate speech. And so katangi Brown Jackson's answer is the exact answer that the progressives demand.
Why They Banned Me From Twitter
"We have a process on how we tweet around here. I actually don't have the Twitter dot com app on my phone, producer Connor does. And we have to go through a process of what is tweeted and what has approved upon and all of that. So there was this tweet that came out in our chat and we went back and forth and I read it four or 5 times. We even watered it down just so you know. We watered it down significantly because we don't want look less so famously said when he was trying to topple the Soviet Union, we have enough martyrs. And don't try to just run into a machine gun nest with your hands up saying, I hate Stalin and they shoot you. Okay, what good is that? That doesn't do any good. But if you get martyred for a good purpose and it moves the ball forward and you're still trying to be prudent about it, that's a separate issue. So enough kamikaze pilots, I suppose what I'm getting at. So we workshopped this tweet that said, I want you to listen carefully. Richard Levine spent 54 years of his life as a man. He had a wife and a family. He transitioned to being a woman in 2011. Joe Biden appointed Levine to a four star admiral and now USA Today has named Rachel Levine as a woman of the year, where are the feminists? Now that sentence I just read to you, I tweeted. And as a result, we have lost access to our Twitter. We have been suspended from Twitter for that specific tweet. It says, quote, you may not promote violence against threaten or harass other people on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, religious affiliation, age, disability or serious disease. So that's interesting. I get threatened all the time on Twitter, people wishing me death, attacking me because of my conservative beliefs because of my Christianity and all that Twitter doesn't do anything about it. Nor do I want them to, nor do I care about it because I don't actually define myself by being a victim of some sort of group. I think it's a waste of time and a bad it's just a poor way to exist or to live your life. So then Twitter kind of offers this choice. They cock the gun, they put the gun to your forehead, and they say, okay, you can either click delete and then you get your Twitter back, basically you can acknowledge you did wrong and submit to us or you're not going to get your Twitter back.

" levine" Discussed on The Astrology Podcast
"Joining me today in the studio is Rick Levine, and we're going to be talking about minor aspects and astrology or as Rick will encourage me to call them the non Ptolemaic aspects, but we'll get into that. So hey Rick, thanks for joining me today. I really wish you would have started differently. You really don't want them to be called the minor aspects. Well, first of all, thanks for inviting me back after blowing out the power last month. Yeah, we are not going to say anything negative about Uranus, Uranus is a very nice planet and I appreciate it very much. I hope it doesn't end this podcast episode. No, I think we'll be fine this time. Okay. So my problem with calling these aspects minor aspects is it relegates them to a less than position. And it's my experience from having worked with them over and over and over again for decades now. That they are no less important. They are no more minor than Uranus Neptune and Pluto are minor or then any one particular technique is minor. We can do a chart with out Uranus Neptune and Pluto and because of the fractal nature of the universe, it'll work. You know, for that matter we could do a chart with someone sun moon and rising sign. I mean, at the beginning, however, when you use the non Ptolemaic aspects, you fill in information that simply wasn't there. And there's no amount of inference from the information without the minor aspects can you actually jump to what you get when you begin to use them. Right. Okay. So let's get into that debate, but let's hit the backdrop first. So that's your positioning very strong minor whatever aspect proponents we're going to come up with some terminology as we go. Sure. Mark more able to do this. But so part of the backdrop is I did a episode earlier this month to set the stage on the 5 what I called major aspects. Let's say Ptolemaic aspects, and that's the conjunction sextile square trying an opposition, and for 2000 years now, those have been the primary aspects that astrologers have used in western astrology in the starting in the ancient Hellenistic, the Greek and Roman traditions going through the medieval traditions and end of the renaissance traditions. But then those aspects are just for a diagram or designer pola Bill meaning made me a little diagram today that shows those major aspects and the conjunction is 0°, the opposition one 80, the try in one 20, the square is 90 and the sextile is 60°. And around what time period did these major aspects become cemented, Ptolemaic Lee? No, in the first century BCE. So that's one of the issues I have with I'm never going to call them Ptolemaic aspects because Ptolemy lived three centuries later after these were introduced. But rather than being 2000 years, then let's call it 1400 years. Because the actual first additional change to it was Johannes Kepler, some 500 years ago. Yeah, okay, so that's good. So let's set up our time frame. I like that you're doing that. So first century, let's say around 100 BCE, we have this new system that's introduced that introduces some aspects of older traditions from Mesopotamia and some traditions from Egypt and one of the things that introduces at this time is the 5 what it calls aspects or configurations or forms of testimony or witnessing where the planets were said to be able to see each other through different ways, both by degree, like we just showed, but also by sign that they were also using sign based aspects as well as degree based aspects. And that was actually intimately tied into the rationale for the 5 configurations. Right. So that's introduced then it's then used for let's say over a thousand years past that point. And then, yeah, so we have this astrologer who comes along and James Holden talks about this in his book, a history of horoscopic astrology when he mentions Johannes Kepler. He says Kepler invented several new aspects, 18° 24° 30° 36° 45° 72 one O 8, one 35, one 44 and one 50. He goes on to say of these, the 30° the 45 and the one 35 and the one 50 aspects have become adopted by most astrologers, and then he goes on and talks about something else, secondary progressions. Now, wasn't the what we call the 30° and one 50° weren't those by signs, part of the Ptolemaic construction, but they were specifically non aspects. Yeah, they were called a versions. They were specifically thought to be the absence of an aspect. So for example, if a planet was in cancer, it was said to aspect 7 other signs write the sextile square and opposition signs as well as the conjunction. And then it was said to be an aversion to or not aspecting four other signs and those four signs would roughly coincide with what is today the in conjunct or the quincunx or semi sextile. Right. And let's go well the in conjunct theoretically would be both semic tiles and Quinn Kung's because they're non aspects. And this is a little bit of a language problem that I think we have in modern astrology is the sloppy use of the word in conjunct, because technically an would be either or both. Whereas a is a queens and a semi sextile, is a semi sextile, and they very specifically clarify that we're not talking about the Ptolemaic universe. Yes, so the in conjunct or the quincunx, those are two names in modern times that are used for the 150° aspect. That's one of the things that you're saying. Yes..
