"Comparison's sake, last year he stole 32 bases and was worth 4.3 base running runs below average. None of that because of stealing. He's successful on the base path. He was worth a run above average ceiling. He'd make a lot of bad decisions. On the basis, he really, really pushes the envelope. So I think that he goes a lot. He likes stealing and he gets on base a lot. So I think that he will steal 40 bases. And I think that he'll also do his best impression of room room guy and try to score from second on infield singles and stuff. And often enough to end up with negative face running runs. Okay. Good deal. I guess now if you're a bad base runner, I guess the downside is deeper just because the baseline will be higher. I mean, hopefully you would be better too, but just because the break-even point is going to be different. I mean, the league success rate is going to be different. I think the success rate is 80% or something in spring trading, and that's with a much higher attempt rate. So both of those things have gone up. So if you can not maintain a good success rate now, you're really going to hurt yourself. Yeah. Yeah, but the fact that it's an 80% success rate. I mean, it reminds me of, I think this was a Sam Miller take. I remember, I remember it's stressing me out a lot, whether it was him or not, but the idea if you've never missed a flight in your life, you've been leaving for the airport too early. I think it had every time I see what the league wide stolen base rate is. Like these people are absolute cowards. Do you think about it every time you go to the airport? I have lots of time to think about it at the airport. You can always get there two hours early. That's right. Right. Well, it all depends on your mental state, I think. There's certainly a way. Right, so if you know that about yourself and you know you can't change that about yourself that it may still be the optimal decision to show up early because at least you won't be worried about it and maybe that trumps whatever time you're wasting because what would you be doing anyway? Yeah. All right. My turn again? Yeah. Okay. All right, I guess I'll go with this one because I was worried that other Ben was going to take it because it started out the same way. I'm going to take no team wins more than 97 games. Which would be a first since 2013, I believe. So we've been in this super team era and we've had a lot of terrible teams still have some terrible teams, but we've also had some great teams every year and I don't know that we have any great team style. I mean, it's obviously possible that no one has to get all that lucky to win more than 97 games if you're true talent is 93 or 94 or something. It's likely that someone will do that, which is why this is at least a semi bold prediction. Hopefully. But this does seem like the likeliest year for this to happen or not happened in some time. And I think the top end of the projections is lower than it's been in some time. I mean, not just the Dodgers being lower than they've been, but if whatever Atlanta is on top with 93 or 94 wins, I mean, it's probably been a while since the top projected wind total team was that low. I think this is the single projection that will lose the person who made it the most points. Because you think it's too obvious? No, I think it's not going to happen. But a lot of people are going to say that I think it's going to happen. Well, don't do that, people listen to listen to Michael. It's not likely. I'm really risking it here. I guess I should go. Do I want to do these in order? Do I want to spice it up? Okay, I'm going to, I'm going to spice it up. This isn't very spicy, but I'm going out of order, which is sort of spicy. I think that the NL Cy Young race will come down to Zach gallon and Logan Webb. As the top two finishers in some order, I guess is the way that we assess whether I was right? I was going to ask you to come down to. Which one, two, two? Yeah. Do I have more to say about that? Other than they're both really good pitchers, Zach Allen took a step forward, looks like a legitimate ace. Logan Webb was not quite as good last year as he has been, but I think is still spread relative and will get better because he's really good and the Giants are good at making people good. And it would be fun. It would be fun to have a new guys up there doing well. It's good to have award race variation. I think year to year, otherwise it gets kind of boring. So I think that in a stacked NL west, those two guys will be a cut above. That'll be what the race comes down to. One, two, or two, one. It's a mortar. Mike, I legitimately had Logan web win Cy Young as one of mine. Did you really? Are you here to that one now? Yeah, one, you saying that. Diminishes the value of this one. I thought it was a long shot. I thought it was a long shot. I consider both of those guys for my NL Cy Young pick. But too many of too many of our colleagues picked it. I know, it's a weird, I still haven't done my staff predictions. Hang on. We've said those were two new yesterday. I did say that. And 47 special editor privileges when you're the one who puts them together. Yeah, this is me asserting editor privilege. What kind of leadership is this? Tired leadership bauman is tired leadership. It's one functional brain cell leadership, but I should say, I will forget what of these I did during this podcast. So someone is going to look at my actual predictions and I'm sure notice that these are not in line with them. And I apologize in advance. So I got for you, you know? Sorry. Sorry. Do you appreciate your confidence in a south Jersey legend? Zach gal. He's so talented. He's just so talented. And now Zach Allen, who played for the Arizona Cardinals, is somewhere else in the NFL, so I will no longer be confused to local sports radio talking about. So that's exciting. Bauman, you're up again. Okay, more pictures will appear for the Pittsburgh pirates this year, then we'll qualify for the ERA title. Oh. Wow. Last season, the pirates were not the team that used the most pictures. That was the Chicago Cubs used 43 somehow. Wow. It wasn't that long ago. It was like in the 90s where teams were getting by using like 1215 pitchers in the entire season. But anyway, the pirates were 6th they had 36 pitchers. Last year, 45 pitchers qualified for the Cy Young or for the ERA title the year before that, it was 39. That number has been going through the floor over the past 15, 20 years. And I think it will continue. It makes sense to me. Yeah. Kind of kind of chalky. That's the one that I think is most likely to come true. Okay. All right. Okay. I guess I'm up next. Gunnar Henderson. Corbin Carroll. Jordan walker. Anthony volpe. All four of them will fail to win rookie of the year. Shocking. I think that's pretty unlikely. Yeah,

"Baseball for ESPN and I feel like a grumpy old man tonight. Dave, today Dave, because we talked about Aaron judge being named captain. And I just find that whole discussion to be sort of absurd. And he was asked about it yesterday and I'm like, please, can the media stop talking about the captain see? Because it really doesn't matter. It doesn't matter if you put something on a Jersey. Come on, buster. It's all part of this great Yankee mythology. We need a captain for the Yankees. And I, you know, tell the story. Like when Derek Jeter was a young player, he was definitely a leader on that team, right? He was great, you know, the way he played hard. I think he helped set a tone on that team and there are other stuff that I saw that happen that way and then toward the end is he was more of a more of a public figure than he was necessarily a great player. He became less of a leader on that team and younger players, gravitated toward Alex Frederick. It's about the connection between the players and Aaron judge has that now. No one needs to put a C on his Jersey. Yeah, and look, we all know leadership, it's not pep talks in the Clubhouse. That rarely happens in baseball. It's just going out out there, joint showing up every day, working hard and leading by example. And we all know Aaron judge does that, you know, great work ethic. So he's already a leader. He doesn't need to see. It's a little silly, but it's the Yankee. So whatever. Yeah, I'm going up to cardinals camp after I get done with you today and Paul Goldschmidt, it's kind of the same way, right? The guy who brings along young players encourages them and they watch him and they see how he does goes about his base running is his approach every day and they match that. And that's kind of a judge does. You know, with the Yankees, I was much more interested as I told Sarah and Taylor about judge being asked the question about replicating what he did last year, which theoretically could carry its own set of pressure, but I think that he'll handle that easily. Yeah, I think so, you know, look, he's had two years in a row now where he's been pretty healthy. Clearly that's the number one key. Just stay out there because you look at his entire career since 2017, when he's on the field, he's been one of the very best players in baseball. His war for one 62 is like 7 and a half or something. So yeah, that's not the 10.6. He had last year, but he's played at an MVP level every year, basically when he's on the field. So all I want from him is a 150 games, is he going to hit 62, probably not, but if he hits 50, that would not shock me in the least. No, not at all. And I think he's well equipped. It does feel like that he's got the mental side of the game. Absolutely locked down. Aaron Boone told me then the last season he really thinks the judge has figured out how to manage himself physically through the year to do more with less and so I think he'll be okay. One guy I'm really curious about this year to watch on a daily basis for the Yankees, someone who wasn't available to them after they traded for him last year as Harrison Bader. Who I think when we assess the 23 Yankees, he can be underrated. I don't think people understand how good he's going to help that defense. What do you think about Harrison Bader? Yeah, no doubt. One of the faster runners in the league, he's a premium center Fielder. So you throw him in center and judge and write and you have two gold glove caliber outfielders and yeah, left field, they're going to have to figure out, but I love what that's going to do for the defense. And the Yankees buying the defensive metrics last year were already one of the best defensive team number one by some. I'm not sure if I necessarily agree that there are the best defensive team, but they're pretty, pretty good, especially Jose trevino, a gold Glover at catcher, Anthony Rizzo is great. I know Yankee fans are down on Josh Donaldson as a hitter, but he's still a good defender. DJ le mayhew, whoever he ends up playing, he's a good defender. So their defense is very underrated. Yeah, it's a good sign from DJ le mayhew the other day when he spoke with reporters that he feels like he's going to be 100% to go. And I'll just say this. Other players will say that and they'll not go DJ le mayhew is so earnest when he talks about how he's feeling and where he's at physically. I take that more at face value than I would with other players. And I know the Yankees were concerned at the NLS season, whether or not he'd be able to bounce back and so it's a good sign that he's able to do that. I sent you an email early this morning because I was going to throw this question at you kind of a fun question. About find a team or identify a team that you're intrigued by for its potential improvement, but not necessarily the team that's going to make the playoffs. I mean, maybe you do pick them to make the playoffs, but a team that you feel like is on the rise under the radar. I've gone with the Diamondbacks buster and look, it's tough because I knew you were going there. I mean, it's hard because the top of the NL is so loaded, but I love their direction. Corbin Carroll, he's the favorite for NL rookie of the year. He had the fastest grid speed in the majors last year. He can hit and he made it to the majors buster with like a 140 career minor league games because he missed 2020 with COVID. He had a shoulder injury in 2021. And he made it last year from double-A to triple-A all the way to Arizona where he had a really good September cameo. Jake McCarthy had a really good second half rookie season last year. He's one of the fastest guys in the majors. Alec Thomas was another rookie outfielder last year. I like him. They also have this group of young starters who are all major league ready where I Nelson, Dre jamison, Brandon fat. I think is how you pronounce his last name. All three of those guys are going to compete for the rotation. They signed Evan Longoria who can, you know, still play a little bit. I wish they would have added a little more to the bullpen and maybe a veteran starter, but a lot of good young talent there. Yeah, I look at them as being clearly clearly the third best team in the nationally west. The Padres, Dodgers, and I ain't Diamondbacks are clear third with the Giants being fourth. You buying that? Yeah, I'm buying it. Arizona's gonna be my sleeper team and every article I write this spring. Yeah, you know, like the Giants have a way of maybe surprising again, but I'm with you. I don't see it. I just love the direction. And maybe sometimes with young players, we jump on them here too early, you know, maybe Colby and Carol has to adjust a little bit and so on. But, you know, and I didn't mention Zach gallon. You know, this guy was a number one caliber starter last year. He had that streak of what, 40 scoreless innings in August and September. Meryl Kelly, very underrated. So I'm with you. Arizona, third and the last for sure. Yeah, well actually the cubs are my team because I think they're going to improve greatly through the defense. And let's face it, you're a little biased with Corbin Carroll because he's a Seattle guy. He is a Seattle guy, lakeside high school.

"Good conversation to have as we, uh, purchases and Brandon Is on by this week and as the semis coming up, he wants to know and I head to head league how he should be spending the time off. Howard should be preparing his roster. I would sit on my hammock and get some ways. That's why I said, setting his roster. I knew I was going to be the answer. I had a hedge the question with an actual baseball question. I'm not happy. It's raining today. I can't go outside. Uh well, you you say, trusting what would you do? I mean, obviously, every bench spot should be used for next week. I mean, pick up guys who are hot. Even guys like swindle just to make sure that your opponent can't. That's something I definitely do. Yep. I'm looking at matchups for next week. I have a head to head league where it's my last week of the regular season, and I actually added Lamonte Wade. And it's a small league like you only have, like seven acts of hitters. I acted like I activated LaMonte Wade and belt off of waivers. Because they were course and now they're at Wrigley. Terrible pitching. And I thought, Okay, this is gonna work out. I'm off to good start so far. So look at the matchups of the Rockies at home, you know? And the Rockies next week, I think is the last major home stamped, is it? Let's say Nope. Nope. Next week. There's still on the road. Um so hurt your opponents help yourself. That would be good. I'd say don't waste a single roster spot period. Make sure everyone is maximized and beyond that, that's just broad strategy. If volume of pitching matters that comes into the start caps, innings caps for your matchup to start pictures weekly versus daily lock, If any of that comes into play, make sure you have your starting pitching assignments lined up before your opponent does. That was my next question. Like how? How Early do you try to target the to start pitchers? Because if he didn't now or when he asked the question a few days ago, everything changes between two but you don't want to be too late. You don't want to be the last guy. Is that like a Saturday night kind of thing. Saturday nights too late. It's got to be like if I today, whoever pitches Wednesday is pitching next Monday. A lot of cases, you know, Wainwright's a two star guy next week. See if he's about he can't be available, but like Zach Gallon might be available or one of the starches at Dodger Stadium. These goodbye to start guy Odorizzi, who, you know, complaining about his usage. But if you can give him five decent innings, two runs, he should win at taxes on Monday, he might be available in your home Arizona next. So those are two good matchups for him, and you know, because he complained, maybe they'll leave them in for another 2020 pitches. I'll give you another example. Here. People were stuck in spots letting go of injured players. You mentioned two grand before Clayton Kershaw's due back on Monday. It is conceivable there's a league shallow enough that Clayton Kershaw had to be let go. Even if you don't intend to use them for what's aligned for to start week. You want to make sure you prevent your opponent from doing it. So Adam put him in your injured spot and make sure he gets beyond the lineup block. So you can have them used against you. Good stuff. That's why we go to you. That's the strategy he needs. Brandon is going to win his.

Next week they're still on the road so hurt. Your opponents help yourself. That would be what i'd say. Don't waste a single roster spot period. Make sure everyone is maximized And beyond that. That's just broad strategy. If volume of pitching matters that comes into the stark caps innings caps for your match to start pitchers weekly versus daily lock. He might be available in your home arizona next so those are two good matchups for him because he complained. Maybe they'll leave in for another twenty twenty pitches okay. I'll give you another example here. People were stuck in spots letting go of injured players mentioned the ground before clayton. Kershaw is due back on monday. It is conceivable. There's a league. Shallow enough that clayton kershaw had to be. Let go even if you don't intend to use them for what's a line for to start week. You wanna make sure you prevent your opponent from doing it. So adam put them in your injured spot and make sure it gets beyond the lineup. Lock so you can't have them used against you stuff. That's why we go to you. "A lot of non guarantees, as you said, there have been a lot of upsets. I think I'll go ahead. You like your team? What's your take on your team? I'm looking forward to having Corey Seeger back. Perfect time. To experiment a little bit with wander. Yeah, and wonder's been okay. He's basically he does nothing for two games and then he'll have a big third game. He's obviously not going anywhere. I really like my team offensively. And if you're wondering where I've separated, I can figure it out. It's actually my offense. My offense has dominated the league. This year. Particularly because of Devers and winker. Yeah. Well, and albie's too. Your team's weird. You look at it top to bottom and it just doesn't have the same sex appeal as other teams, but you get so much production and catcher. Yeah, goldsmith Goldschmidt is not vintage goldsmith. No, it's not. And then divers, yeah, you know, albie's is a guy I really wanted to draft. Just went way above where I thought he was going to go. And hell, I've been happier about two days. I don't even know. But it's weird. You know, I mean, you're outfielders are okay. Winker is obviously, you'll take that every day of the week and perform, then you're looking pretty good, but. It's a unique team because it doesn't have any superstars really. Yeah, I mean, the funny part is that it's the pitching, right? When you think of my team, probably most people think of Shane Bieber. And Bieber's been out for a month now. And so eventually I'll get him back as well. I haven't really had Zach gallon who I paid a lot of money and JD Martinez for. In the off season. So I'm looking forward to getting those guys back to go with the guys that I just paid for. But yeah, there's not like a name brand. There's not a sexy wand Soto or Fernando tatis or Mike Trout on this team. It's just, it's a lot of guys who pretty much just hit and none of them really run with maybe kind of the exception of albie's. I picked up Tommy Pham because I think he's better than what he did the first month this season he was really good in the month of June, but he's kind of pulled off. The one thing that I will and also I just got George Springer back. I didn't have George Springer for pretty much the entire season. I spent $40 on him.

"Mm hmm. Good evening. Giants fans. Thanks for joining us. Rod Brooks. John Miller, the Hall of Famer. Hello, John. How are you? Hey, Rod. I'm well, Thank you. Get the Giants offense. Well, what do we What do we need to do what you were, Gabe Kaplan said. It's not time for a rally The troops situation, he's going to have individual conversations. But for the Giants to get back to scoring runs and get guys across the play seems like they had to get back to what made them successful, and that's making the opposing pitcher work. Indeed. And when they faced Zach Gallon tonight's Arizona starter The day that he got back from the injured list back on June 17th in San Francisco. They forced him to throw a lot of pitches. He had a 36 pitch second inning of that game, and the day before they had Done the same thing to Merrill Kelly, the guy who kind of shut them down for much of last night. Meryl Kelly had a 47 pitch first inning, So it's just what you were talking about. And after three things he thrown 85 pitches, So that was the end of his Game already, and the Giants went on and won at 13 to 7 so up So I think that's what they'd like to do. Just as as they say. This is now a baseball tournament trust. The process. All right, I got that. Oh, no. It's crept out of Philadelphia, and it's invaded Major League baseball. I did not see that coming, John. That was a Philly thing. Yeah, it was cheesesteaks and trust the process, and it is not gotten them the NBA championship that they thought they were. They were going to get Jane's still hitting home runs, though. Uh, you know, we're all obviously focusing on the lack of inability to that runs across In scoring position over 23 on on this trip, but they still got the long ball and as long as Crawford and Posey and Lister Wilmer Flores in there, as long as those guys are swinging those bats, they can easily run into one as they have Yeah, they their time with the Blue Jays for the major league lead in home runs and leading the National league in that category. It's been exciting. And I don't know which one. It seemed the the least likely to most people around the game that the Giants would have 50 wins by now in the first half of the year. Still, tonight, marks the halfway point by the way of the season. Or that they would be leading the National League in home runs after in less than half a season with 118 so and what's interesting because you look at a team like the Blue Jays. And you're not surprised that they hit so many home runs because they've got some guys and some big time home run hitters. The Padres But the Giants Brandon Crawford, is the big time home run hitter was 17 and then pose. He's got 12. Yes, has 11 and that's it. They don't have any guys with 28 homers yet, or 25, or 20, or Or whatever. So so it's and I think this is kind of what they've been as they as they said in that movie, the Book of Mormon or that Broadway play the Book of Mormon. Well, I think that's kind of what he was. Going for it. Uh, they just have power up and down the line up that There's a lot of guys who can hit a home run on a given night. They're not just Uh, you know, depending on two or 34 guys for all the home runs that anybody in the lineup could do it. So, uh And that's been kind of fun into it. Only one man can give you a trust The process reference and Reference The book of Mormon and that man is a Hall of Famer John Miller. We'll talk, but we're John next year on the sports kind of when I was going for time matters for most things in life, including how.

"A game better than analyzed and third party laboratory and are found to have ford substances even if that is backed up by spin rate data. And i will add to this especially not when you're going to collective bargaining because it's going to be really hard to prove even went in obvious cases that came from the pitcher but you can always allege that it came from an infielder came from a catcher that it was. This is a point that trevor. Bauer made a video randy made during spring training. It could be filed off the bat. Where the pine tar is maybe Spread up a little bit higher than it should be collected that way. You can do it that way. I like your idea. I don't think it would take long and the good thing about umpires and hate putting this on this on the umpires because they take as much heat as it is and this is another incredible burden to put on them. I don't think there's a better solution to that. The good thing about the hiring aspect of it too is. They know where to look bay. Nowhere pictures of putting this stuff there in the game. They know exactly how stuff works. And you're right. I don't think it would take very long at all. I think it's a very simple solution. Yeah and i i. I think that that's that's the next step that needs to happen. And maybe that's what the conversation the owners meetings is to get For romford to get the wink and the nod from the owners say go ahead and enforce again a rule. That's already the books about foreign substances. All right let's talk about the developing trade market. As we went into the season. I think there was an expectation among a lot of executives that the giants and the cubs would have were expected to be a big source of some of the trade assets in this year's market. Well guess what the cubs are first place. They rolling nine games over five hundred. The giants aren't first place in the national league west. So as you look around now from talking with the front office people this week. They're beginning to circle around the roster of the arizona diamondbacks okay. The diamond are twenty and thirty seven. Their fifty fifteen games out of first place into disastrous start And so now as you look at the diamondbacks roster. I want to get from you. What are some of the movable pieces you feel like on that roster they're going to be attractive to teams and i'm gonna take madison bumgarner off your plate. Because he had another terrible start. Yesterday came out with a sore shoulder. He's got a lot of money left on his contract. He's basically untradeable in this moment. Yeah look they have. I'm not going to say a lot. But they have some really decent pieces that could be acquired via trade. I mean you have the easy ones right. You have pending free agents like ardo escobar. Walk you toria reliever david carlotta who controlled. I think through the twenty twenty two season. I think those are easy guys to move in this transition for the team. I mean there's a lot of pending created near. You've got josh Acquired a minor league deal. There's any well He could be a good rental piece for team. Contingent as drubel cadre. Cabrera stephen guys like that. I'm more fascinated. In whether or not the diamondbacks take a step further and they move onto guys like could tell martin ore zach gallon or somebody like a a carson kelly who has finally emerged obviously the big piece of the paul goldschmidt trade the diamondbacks buster. In in my opinion. A fascinating position. Because you take a step back we take sort of a big picture look at that division. And the dodgers aren't going anywhere obviously. The padres aren't going anywhere. Obviously the giants I think it's pretty clear. Now that would four hundred eighty capital are going to be building. There is a team to be really good really soon. Even if not this year. And i'll add tonight that they're good this year In a year when we didn't think they were going to be good as you mentioned before. And i wonder if diamondbacks have to take a page out of maybe what the seattle mariners did a few years ago where they took a step back. They looked at trajectory of the division. And they thought about okay. This is when we astros might start to take a downturn the angels the as we could set up set ourselves up to be good by this year if we take a step back and we deal the players who are very attractive to teams and get prospects back now. All odd to caveat to that buster one is. we don't know if the mariners rebuild is going to work even though there at the end of this and that's just how rebuilds we're not certain if between a work yet so there's never a certainty that the second one on to that is if the diamondbacks do Decide to go that route and trade. Martin trade kelly trade gallon or at least make those guys legitimately available. I don't think it would take them that long to become content news again because their function is really good. They have some guys who are some really intriguing position player prospects who could make an impact as soon as next year they have some really cooking prospects in the lower levels. That could follow soon after that. And i think given the landscape of that division. I think the current thing to do is.

"Christopher daniels that was actually too bad coat on a bad match factor in. Don't forget kristen cages. In this to the christian cage eight mile street fight is nothing to write home about it really. It really is like you can tell by two thousand six. I was i was done with easy. W in extreme rules. Yeah i was at that point. you know. Every third match didn't need to be overcome by it was all done by that point. You try them. This was so. Let's go through real quick. So your first match was the kevin. Nash open invitational x division. Gauntlet battle royale. Oh the first thing. I wanted to say if you did watch. His pig review man did like promoting themselves backed in. We are the number one wrestling promotion. We're being talked about everywhere in. I'm sorry i can't to stand on calloused. It is but jesus christ man we're in the major league baseball world series program. Give an ass everybody's gonna tear. The quads is funny while kevin andrews on commentary. Okay so why did you. What did you do while we know back when i was i was a high flyer. That's how i hurt my out. My whole gimmick at this point is he is the best exhibition champion It was the kevin nash open. Invitational exhibition got battle. Royale Some nice words times. By some notable people in this match you had often star aka austin. aries you have sanjay dutt. Yep the big league wait reasonable very sharp way. But the yeah. That was the biggest one. Surprised me has been zach. Gallon popped up. The ain't they promoted him as wrestling would no leg like he. He walks down to the ring with a crutch in both legs in takes off right. Forgive to the ring. Be won't with the king. He came down with the chain has to take off his percents late than jump in. It's also to kind of open. Norma molly was gonna win. That ended up getting eliminated. Yeah he ended up limited. Your your winners austin start but this is really really honestly you can say this is where it starts for us. Mary's in that whole great run. He had with his first round with this territory. Well in jay lethal in joining this group. When kevin nash at one point in this first black cheese yes go. I mean it led to some really great things for daily lethal as we on. Oh so next match with team. Three d It was a four way tag team. Three versus america's most wanted versus the james gang versus the naturals. the microphone. your lasts longer than this match. I'm just gonna say because every one of these teams. I think had something to say. But can we talk about for a second. James stored his guy to be one of the most uncertain amazing tag team wrestlers. It's never it's rarely talked about because he's done more on impacted anywhere else injury bone that's the or his issue of it like he tends to get hurt a lot but i remember watching two of the greatest tire teams in impact. History with america's most wanted beer money. Yeah so you gotta give the man his credit. He's attacked teen specialists. He's really good in the tag team era. But you're right Tommy if he wasn't so injury prone he'd probably been over new. Next t is champion at subway. Well i join always always enjoyed user. You've saina let us know who you are needing you are my friend ways enjoy. America's most wanted. I enjoyed that tag team. Right from the get. Go when i watched tina. I always enjoyed the james gang. It's so weird seeing that do a different stick but it's the same liberally. This was literally weeks before they changed into the booth. Ken mafia to go to basically saying. Fud vince for bringing back the x. With just sean into leitch and kicking them to the curve but the but this is funny. So james gang in america's most wanted they basically they ask the thing that team the face off with the naturals at this time. The naturals were the number one contenders for the tag team. Titles and they get their butts beef by team. Three d his facebook's not working but mr brandon randall. Trolling you busta brown. Must not bra brandon. Me you gotta talk bro talk. So you're next match team. Three d didn't end up winning this. This was the thing about this. What was this match for. There was no point through a note. Stipulation animals sort of they sort of hinted at it being like well if they start. They win this. Maybe it'll be looked at as you'll become a number one contender's when you had the number one contenders in the yeah. I not not a lot at all. In this match it was pointless match. There was literally nothing to in like. It didn't seem like it had much story behind. That was that was. I got the card. And i was like. Hey you forgot. Forget these guys. We need to do something with. I could see that because america's most wanted at this point was not the break. Did james wasn't doing anything. The naturals were flash in the pan and nothing and then team. Three hasn't really gotten a whole like they had been gone for like two weeks or something they said and then they showed so and i don't feel like they had found their feet and impact at this point. So but you're next match samoa. Joe defeats abyss. Jay brother rat and raven a monster's ball match. This was a good match. But i agree with what gene's gonna say here. Go ahead of jean. You don't need a extreme rules match. You don't other match. And this is one of one to basically free because the the main event was basically. Well you don't even i don't even classified. The main event is like extreme rules right leasing sites still but the monster balls. I don't get me wrong. It's great Referee or not. The referee the guiding hand was jake. The snake roberts this point jake was having some issues. Jd beer money. That.

The idea from Wednesday did not get Brought out until yesterday about your the best thing about the bills being good. Mm hmm. And in the court, we took several calls about that many from far away people sort of Remembering talking about the emotions of last year, their favorite thing about the bills being good. And at one point yesterday, one caller doing that. Said something about the best Buffalo team ever. And so that will be the next idea. Best Buffalo team ever. I don't have. The guy said that he thought the bills were best like the one of you. I if I remember correctly, I was feeling Yeah. He also seven or six or seven sabers, right? Somewhere in there like he was talking about this can And this was the guy that maybe wasn't the biggest bills fan was above all the bigger sabers fan. And that was the context in which he used the phrasing. Best buffalo team ever in his opinion was one of those mid 2000 sabers teams. Yeah, whether that was like Analyzed or just a throwaway line? I'm upset with them right now. E almost made a World series bet on them, and now they have the best record in baseball. We both loved it. We both loved Boston, and neither was did anything. No, but don't tell Gavin later. Really what you'll be like, Why don't you come over and bet the Red Sox If you're so confident, should have But we didn't Yankees have the nationals this weekend. The islanders two one couple of three game losing streaks for the isles mixed in with their three wins over the rangers in the last couple of weeks. Barry trotz says they've gotten away from what they do best reassessment. That's always a start in our game. We start you know turning back. We don't go north. we don't stay under pox. We cheat for cheat on place and when you do that you just it gets frustrating. They got the devils again tomorrow night. They try to get their game in order heading into the postseason rangers or shut up by the bruins in boston for nothing. They got all kinds of guys out of the lineup. Story was in the day chris. Jury officially introduced alongside. Glenn say the juries new president and gm as we know and james dolan with semi comments larry brooks the new york post basically talking about the culture and the overall spirit of the team. He was not happy with that was at. And that's what led to the dismissal of both jeff gordon and john davidson now they move forward with jury and it sounds like a lot of glenn say they're sort of on the fringe as what do they call him. The godfather of the rangers. So he's back in the mix he's not on the fringe right in the mix. Yeah that's that's a better way to put it fine. Find tough guys and he'll tell you look we're bringing these guys in four or five of these guys and we're going to protect our younger guys and we're gonna make sure that our younger guys that are highly drafted are going to get the positions on the lines. That they deserve. This would have been the year for a lot of guys to to really learn. They've learned but they've been all over the place like nothing's ever been set in stone. And i don't necessarily know that i've thought new gotta know that he's going to be the captain of the ranger someday and he's got to be put in a position like nico he share was for the devils whether like niko or not i mean. They drafted him number. One your captain and you're gonna go out there and you're gonna lead us to often years. Got gotta be. Yeah who might be the captain the sabers one day try any off season and by the way the great job would say about clinched. The right now fully ensconced. I'm looking at right now man. He's got the goatee going on here. Say they're good lawry's back east back in the mix man believes in the mixer. It is like a drug. They just can't they had never let it go and dolan on chris jury quote he reminds me somewhat of brian cashman so really setting the bar high for a guy who's never done the job before now has to step into this situation in new york city with the team that will have expectations next year.
