"<Speech_Male> You know, <Speech_Male> you would think, you know, but a lot <Speech_Male> of guys who he will. <Speech_Male> <SpeakerChange> <Speech_Male> Well, <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> and <Speech_Male> the <SpeakerChange> rest of your family. <Speech_Male> My mother <Speech_Male> embraced his life 8 years <Speech_Male> ago, and that <Speech_Male> took a long time. Oh, <Speech_Male> your mother, too. Yeah, my mother <Speech_Male> too. <Speech_Male> That took her from just <Speech_Male> watching me and my wife. <Speech_Male> It was <Speech_Male> completely, you know, me and my wife <Speech_Male> tried to wheel. <Speech_Male> I was experiential. <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> The message it was <Speech_Male> meant to say she was just watched <Speech_Male> me and my wife. <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> And <SpeakerChange> your kids. <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> Well, my <Speech_Male> daughter, <Speech_Male> sorry, Brennan. <Speech_Male> My daughter, <Speech_Male> even though I tried to raise <Speech_Male> her as best as I could, I <Speech_Male> was dealing with <Speech_Male> a tug of war <Speech_Male> between me <Speech_Male> and my ex-wife <Speech_Male> because of the lifestyles <Speech_Male> were completely different. <Speech_Male> So when they come and visit <Speech_Male> me, <Speech_Male> we had the Islamic <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> lifestyle <Speech_Male> and then <Speech_Male> when they went back home, <Speech_Male> it's <Speech_Male> willing to do as you will <Speech_Male> kind of thing. <Speech_Male> Because my <Speech_Male> ex-wife is not religious <Speech_Male> at all. You know, it's <Speech_Male> completely like <Speech_Male> everybody else here in this country. <Speech_Male> You know, it's just <Speech_Male> I do what I want as long as it <Speech_Male> feels good. I don't hurt anybody <Speech_Male> else, even if I knew who hurt somebody <Speech_Male> else, I'm gonna do whatever <Speech_Male> I want. Yeah, man. <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> <SpeakerChange> <Speech_Male> And so, <Speech_Male> but handily, <Speech_Male> now that <Speech_Male> my son, <Speech_Male> he lives in Washington <Speech_Male> state with his family, he's <Speech_Male> got three <Speech_Male> sons, my three grandsons. <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> I'm Julian. <Speech_Male> So he <Speech_Male> he's close. <Speech_Male> And he's <Speech_Male> in conversation with my <Speech_Male> stepsons, and they're come <Speech_Male> always SnapChat in each <Speech_Male> other Instagram each other and <Speech_Male> they're always <Speech_Male> it's on this, it's on that <Speech_Male> checked out this lecture Julian, <Speech_Male> check out this section. <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> They're on his case. <Speech_Male> My stepsons <Speech_Male> are on their case. So <Speech_Male> that's why they come on Mars so <Speech_Male> long when they come out of them. If I <Speech_Male> haven't told you already, <Speech_Male> talk to you all soon. <Speech_Male> So they <Speech_Male> are on <Speech_Male> his constantly talking <Speech_Male> about Islam. And so I <Speech_Male> talked to him the other day. He's like, look, <Speech_Male> bro, here's <Speech_Male> the deal. <Speech_Male> Let's not <Speech_Male> do it for the sake <Speech_Male> of your kids. Your <Speech_Male> kids deserve it. <Speech_Male> You deserve <Speech_Male> it. 'cause <Speech_Male> he's starting to come to terms because he's <Speech_Male> like, he hates what's going <Speech_Male> on in this country. <Speech_Male> The whole <Speech_Male> haruf and you <Speech_Male> know. <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> I love that so much <Speech_Male> fat that they're not. And <Speech_Male> there's only one, <Speech_Male> I think people are realizing <Speech_Male> there's only one <Speech_Male> religion, <Speech_Male> only one group of people <Speech_Male> that <Speech_Male> are like the last line of <Speech_Male> defense against it. <Speech_Male> And that is the Muslims. <Speech_Male> And so he's sick <Speech_Male> to death, especially with the whole <Speech_Male> transgender thing going <Speech_Male> on and Payton kids <Speech_Male> going through transitions and <Speech_Male> all this kind of stuff. And <Speech_Male> kids, you know, <Speech_Male> parents are getting <Speech_Male> put in jail or <Speech_Male> getting sued, may <Speech_Male> not be in this country, but I <Speech_Male> know what's happening in Canada <Speech_Male> and maybe <Speech_Male> other European <Speech_Male> countries. Well, <SpeakerChange> here's a scary <Speech_Male> part. <Speech_Male> In America, people I could <Speech_Male> think that you control <Speech_Male> your children, but in <Speech_Male> reality the state has <Speech_Male> property which. <Speech_Male> They're the final <Speech_Male> say in all <Speech_Male> child matters. If they're under <Speech_Male> 18, <Speech_Male> you can lose your children. <Speech_Male> So we call them the best <Speech_Male> interest of the child. <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> So <Speech_Male> he <SpeakerChange> said, so <Speech_Male> I got on the phone with him and I <Speech_Male> was talking and he was like, look <Speech_Male> bro <Speech_Male> I know Omar inanimate <Speech_Male> we know we were talking and I <Speech_Male> was like because he's close <Speech_Male> he says the <Speech_Male> law is this a lot of that, <Speech_Male> the messenger this, the question <Speech_Male> does like one look, <Speech_Male> just say <Speech_Male> it. <Speech_Male> Get it done. <Speech_Male> You'll be glad you said that <Speech_Male> the only thing that you're going to regret <Speech_Male> is that you will regret <Speech_Male> that you didn't say it <Speech_Male> sooner.

"I ain't going back anywhere. I got a mess to make, I got things I need to take care of home. Yeah. So I told him, you know, well, if you want to get on ready reserve, just ask them to do it and they gave me the detailers name that I was corresponding with and she told me, write a letter to your commanding officer that you want to go ready reserves, you know, blah, blah, blah. But just to let you know as a possibility of getting activated icon. I was like, I was thinking to myself, I'm not going to get activated again, 'cause I'm getting too old. They're not going to take me back. So she said write a letter, so I didn't. I remember writing the letters like going, you know, because of this tour I went through this, this, this, went through a divorce, and it just and by the way, you can take this uniform and shove it up your ass. And that's it and they put me on ready for that. That was I really put that was pissed. Oh, you did. No, that letter was really sent to the captain. I told ticket. So I'm done with this shallow ruining families, blah, blah, blah. And they let me out. And I was out of the uniform ever since. So during my time during rehab, I divorced my wife. And I'll tell you why, at this, that came to this conclusion during my time in Iraq, I was fasting Ramadan records. We were when Ramadan came in and I was as fast as I was hanging out with mostly just the interpreters. And we had this one senior Master Chief. He was black American. He was Muslim, too. Been Muslim for a while, so he's pretty much hanging up the comedian when I was going through with my wife at the time. And he's like, oh, look, if you stay with this woman, she's gonna put you in the fire. That's like when I'm done. As soon as we win stateside, I remember I called her as I go in, I need this information from you because I'm falling for divorce today. And I caught her when she was in the dentist chair getting feelings in her mouth. Because you couldn't say much. As I know, I was like, when I was because I was done, I was like signing this up, I'm done. I'm done with you. Here's the divorce. And there had been some infidelity too, so that kind of went in, not on my part. But that went into the picture as well. So I found divorced her and then about four months later, I was on the market. I was looking for a wife, like, I'm never marrying a non Muslim again. Give me a Muslim woman. Wow. So it was that process looking for it was a very interesting. So I went through a couple of interviewed a couple of sisters before my current before I married my current wife. One was a Pakistani sister. Desi sister and she was working on an Islamic school and Irving at the time. That didn't happen, right? Huh? No, that didn't happen. So you're going to find this. No, you're going to find this funny. Why? Why the heck? Oh, okay. We can't do it. Of course. I'm glad you did marry our kind. Our kite. Yes, anyways, go ahead. So they're the worst. I'm sure you actually her mother is the one who set up the interview between us. And so I interviewed with her.

We saw <Speech_Male> men's soccer <Speech_Male> division three <Speech_Male> national <Speech_Male> title team coached by a <Speech_Male> woman. <Speech_Male> You have to <Speech_Male> create opportunities <Speech_Male> and spaces for women <Speech_Male> to coach. UCLA <Speech_Male> took a gamble there, <Speech_Male> hiring a first <Speech_Male> year paid <Speech_Male> off. Head coach <Speech_Male> and it paid off. "Don't <Speech_Music_Male> <SpeakerChange> <Speech_Male> <Advertisement> know. <SpeakerChange> <Speech_Music_Male> All right. <Speech_Music_Male> We have to see how it's <Speech_Music_Male> played. I think the U.S. <Speech_Male> could absolutely be <Speech_Male> Japan. Oh, I agree <Speech_Male> with you. They can absolutely <Speech_Male> be Japan on <Speech_Male> their day. Who do you think wins? <Speech_Male> <Speech_Music_Male> Japan <Speech_Male> hit a higher level in <Speech_Male> this tournament. If I'm <Speech_Music_Male> going off the <Speech_Music_Male> four games <Speech_Music_Male> that they got in this <Speech_Music_Male> tournament, higher level. <Speech_Music_Male> I'll say Japan <Speech_Music_Male> hit a higher level. <Speech_Music_Male> I would agree with if <Speech_Music_Male> they play ten times based <Speech_Male> off that, I'd give it 6 <Speech_Music_Male> four. Okay. <Speech_Music_Male> Not much though. <Speech_Music_Male> Okay. Is the U.S. men's <Speech_Male> <Advertisement> national team as a program <Speech_Music_Male> <Advertisement> trending in a better <Speech_Male> <Advertisement> direction than <SpeakerChange> the U.S. <Speech_Male> women's? <Speech_Music_Male> <Speech_Male> Go ahead. <SpeakerChange> This is catered <Speech_Male> for you. <Speech_Male> Absolutely. <Speech_Male> A trending <Speech_Male> in a better direction. <Speech_Male> Absolutely. Now, <Speech_Male> nivelles, <Speech_Male> no? <Speech_Male> Trendy in <Speech_Male> a better direction. <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> When you're the <Speech_Male> two time World Cup <Speech_Male> champion, it's hard <Speech_Male> to trend <Speech_Male> anywhere but down, <Speech_Male> right? From <Speech_Male> there. <Speech_Male> I don't know <Speech_Male> that the U.S. women's national <Speech_Male> team in <Speech_Male> four <Speech_Male> 8 <Speech_Male> 12 years going <Speech_Male> to still be at the <Speech_Male> very top of women's football. <Speech_Male> In fact, I doubt that they <Speech_Male> will. Because we're seeing <Speech_Male> a ever? <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> I think we're seeing a ton <Speech_Male> of investment <Speech_Male> and growth. <Speech_Male> To our <Speech_Male> to the point about <Speech_Male> discussions before, <Speech_Male> in places like <Speech_Male> Spain, <Speech_Male> in places like Italy <Speech_Male> and places like <Speech_Male> France. <Speech_Male> Like <Speech_Male> Germany. And <Speech_Male> I think that <Speech_Male> those countries <Speech_Male> because <Speech_Male> they're benefited because <Speech_Male> their culture, the <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> culture around those countries <Speech_Male> with the game. And <Speech_Male> I think that's the point. <Speech_Male> The United <Speech_Male> States <Speech_Male> is still learning <Speech_Male> how to produce footballers. <Speech_Male> What the <Speech_Male> United States is the most important <Speech_Male> thing for competing <Speech_Male> at that level. And what <Speech_Male> the United States <Speech_Male> did <Speech_Male> for women <Speech_Male> was not produce <Speech_Male> footballers, but was <Speech_Male> produced great <Speech_Male> women athletes <Speech_Male> because <Speech_Male> of title 9. So <Speech_Male> there were and because of the <Speech_Male> size of the country, <Speech_Male> there were millions <Speech_Male> and millions of young girls <Speech_Male> and eventually women <Speech_Male> who were playing soccer <Speech_Male> at a time when the rest of <Speech_Male> the world didn't have a <Speech_Male> title. And <Speech_Male> that's why the U.S. women <Speech_Male> are dominant, but <Speech_Male> as <Speech_Male> countries like <Speech_Male> Spain who <Speech_Male> really know how to develop <Speech_Male> technical players <Speech_Male> start to <Speech_Male> focus the resources <Speech_Male> and the proper coaching on the <Speech_Male> women's game, <Speech_Male> you bet your bottom <Speech_Male> dollar. They're eventually going to <Speech_Male> overtake the United States, <Speech_Male> England, <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> who else Germany, <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> really quickly, <Speech_Male> really quickly do the <Speech_Male> U.S. players do <Speech_Male> the U.S. program <Speech_Male> right now, count with <Speech_Male> the most technical players <Speech_Male> on earth. <Speech_Male> The U.S. <Speech_Male> women's team? <Speech_Male> No, absolutely not. <Speech_Male> Okay, absolutely not. <Speech_Male> Okay. No, <Speech_Male> definitely not. I think anybody <Speech_Male> who watched last summer's <Speech_Male> European Championships <Speech_Male> will have seen a level of technical <Speech_Music_Male> ability that <Speech_Music_Male> we haven't seen from the U.S. <Speech_Music_Male> or frankly any of their opponents. <Speech_Music_Male> I think that's <Speech_Music_Male> a big part of the U.S. <Speech_Music_Male> problem. <SpeakerChange> They <Speech_Music_Male> take on teams. Hey. <Speech_Music_Male> Speaking of the <Speech_Music_Male> U.S. women's national. <Speech_Music_Male> Our <Speech_Music_Male> former colleague <Speech_Music_Male> Kate Mark Graf <Speech_Music_Male> found out <Speech_Music_Male> last night <Speech_Music_Male> at halftime of <Speech_Music_Male> the NCAA <Speech_Music_Male> Division I women's <Speech_Music_Male> soccer championship <Speech_Music_Male> game <Speech_Music_Male> that she would be <Speech_Music_Male> going <Speech_Music_Male> <Advertisement> into the Hall of Fame. <Speech_Music_Male> <Advertisement> <Speech_Music_Male> <Advertisement> Long <Speech_Music_Male> <Advertisement> overdue for the <Speech_Music_Male> last 90 niners. <Speech_Music_Male> That is exactly the last <Speech_Music_Male> of the starters <Speech_Music_Male> from the 99 team <Speech_Music_Male> to be <Speech_Music_Male> inducted into the Hall <Speech_Music_Male> of Fame. "Dutch based on what you've thought you think the Dutch goal is better. Dutch gold was very good, yeah. Very good team goal. I still think the Brazilian goal is better. Okay, you know who wasn't all that impressed? Well, not with the Brazilian goal. But with the celebrations that you mentioned about the Brazilian goal. This will come as just shocking surprise to you, Roy Keane, on Brazil's dancing celebrations. I think it's disrespectful dancing like that every time they score. I don't mind the first jig or whatever it was for the first goal, but not every time. It's disrespectful, even their manager gets involved. I don't like it. Roy Keane doesn't like it. Are you cool with it, hurt? The dancing from the Brazilians. You don't like it? Don't let them score. Right. That's the easy to hear any South Korean complaints about it after that. And if you're south Korea, don't let them score. Right. If you're the next opponent, you don't want to see him dance. Don't let him score. It's as easy as that. You score the goal, do what you want. This is dumb. This is like a few years back when the women played in the World Cup and it was Thailand, right? Yes. And it was 13 zero and it's a World Cup. This is what you dream about. This is the biggest moment in your sporting career, celebrated, dance it, sing it, bring out flyers if you want. I don't care. It's your moment and the fact that you scored the goal allows you to do that. People pay to be entertained. If you don't like that, stop it. On the field. That's the only way you should be able to stop it. Let them have that moment. Is there a line

"There are a few things he does very well. Defensively, tactically for the team, there are things that he's not done. Throughout his career. Right. Not done or not been beneficial for Portugal in these latter years. I don't know how we can sit here and say they weren't better without them. So Fernando Santos the manager and for those who haven't seen it, the big controversy here is how Ronaldo leaves the field against South Korea. And he's seen to be mouthing to the camera, what looks to be like, what's the rush? Why are you rushing to take me off the field? Right. Santos is asked about this in a press conference. He says, I didn't like it at all. We're going to handle this internally. Bench and Cristiano Ronaldo, after you started him in the first three games, is not necessarily an after you said you didn't like it publicly. Right, doesn't seem to be handling it. Internally. I guess what I'm not really sure at is why he came into the game then, right? At the end, like is that an olive branch from the manager? Because if you want to send a message to one without him, is a pretty it was 5 when I believe. Well, but I'm saying you could have finished that game off at 6 one with no, but what I'm trying to say to you is I believe 5 one when he comes in. He comes in. That's the olive branch. He's trying to send right there because he's hoping christiano scores. Christiano is happy when he scores. Christendom's not happy when Gonzalo Ramos is scoring one, two or three. And in the way he scores in the way he finished those plays. You could say it Switzerland Switzerland had a bad day, whatever the case. It's not going to care. Right. Christiana Ronaldo cares about Christina Ronaldo. That's a reality. This Portugal team was better for the Fernando Santos decision. That's another reality. Now, the bigger question is, olive branch or not. Who's starting next game? Right. So he's got one goal in the 5, right? So far, and it's a penalty. I mean, that's not that's not Christiana Ronaldo like numbers. Do you think Santos? Because this will inform the question, the answer to your question. Do you think Santos used the drama as an excuse to do something that he's kind of

"Ahead and share it with the crowd. What's your boy told you what happened in Spain versus Morocco? You picked it. I think about it, we have the bracket now, but you've seen the bracket here on football. And he goes, you did pick Morocco to advance. I love the way they play. Okay. I love how defensively sound they are. I love how disciplined. I love how they all battle. It's physically impossible to keep the same pace and that is my worry with them. You saw the captain literally tweaking his hammy. They were tying it back together. Right. 120 minutes. Under 20 minutes, it was penalty kicks that you advance in. You could only play this way for so long. Against what for me looks like a very fresh Portugal team that all of a sudden has a ton of belief and a ton of talent. They kept Cristiano Ronaldo out of this lineup. And still drilled this Switzerland team that's not that easy to play again. Say what you will. They're not an easy team to play against. I love my Moroccan Friends. Uh oh. I want to say here comes the butt. Do it for Africa because America has been one of the best fan bases out here. So I think that would feel to see them go, but I think this is the end of the road for them. I get your points there. I think it's worth noting what you say about the fan bases because we were hearing from our colleagues that were at this game that it was not like 75 25, 80 20. It was like 90 ten. Right now, producer Beth and I are staying. It may as well be Casablanca. I mean, it is Paul Morocco fans. And I think I think that plays a role. The one thing I will say about this Morocco team, what I like about their story, is their federation had the guts to do what Mexico's federation did not. Three months before the tourney, they fired their coach. Principally, they fired their coach because he was leaving two guys out, right? Those two guys are in the starting lineup tonight. They play a huge role. And I think it's something to be said for, look, you may be going down a road. But when you see and we talked about, how did they look against the United States? I think I shelled three nothing in that. You may say, oh, well, we've gone down this road. We need to see it out. Their federation had the guts to say no. We're going to change course here three months before the World Cup. And I think it's, I think it's huge. I don't think without Mas raoi, and I don't think without CSA win this game. No, no, absolutely not. Absolutely not. They had the courage and the guts to do what you didn't want them to do. What's that? You didn't want the fired three months before the World Cup. I didn't. You didn't want to fire back in March. Roll the tape. We'll roll the tape. You actually thought it was dumb that I said after they lost gold cup that this would happen. Cold cup was two years ago. Gold cup was two years ago. Two years ago. All right, let's talk about Portugal on Switzerland because hurt didn't see the rundown and already started to discuss. "Spain, a country with significant footballing history and high expectations. When you go out in the round of 16, you're going to get hammered as the manager. How much of this is on him? He shares a great deal of responsibility because he picks a style, right? You could say, well, the pool indicates the style. He's going with a lot of these younger players. And there's no set here Ramos on here. There's no experience player like that. It's a lot of the same DNA. Lots of Barcelona players shout out to Jose Levi said they can't win with all these Europa League. It reminded me of sports again. Guatemala. Club level? Remedy? Yes, he's a very famous geometry fan. Of course, you see famous famous for his Real Madrid fandom. Yeah. So it is on the manager. It is in the coach. And maybe just maybe he put unnecessary pressure on his team in this World Cup. Doing what, specifically. You know what? The Twitch. Okay. So right now there's a big conversation. In Espana, amongst a lot of our colleagues were like a lot of the Spanish press was hoping, waiting, praying for this, to rub it into Luis enriquez face. They don't like everything that Luis Enrique has done with this Twitch channel. It's almost like it's a slap in the face to the proper traditional press. Oh, you're just going to talk to the fans directly. Well, what about us? What's our role then? But is that fair? No. Right. Because I love this new media. I think we actually are part of this new media. I love this new media. I love what he's doing. Listen, people need to realize oftentimes with the press. When you're an athlete, when you're a footballer per se, they know you through the press. Your voice or how you're perceived is how the press paints you. So now you take away this power and it's almost like they feel helpless. Yeah. It's almost like how dare you. This isn't the way it's supposed to go. And we saw it with Leon el Messi PSG, the very first interview he had at PSG was with you by is with the Spanish YouTuber. Streamer and the proper press at traditional press just had a field day. How dare you? How dare you? Right. Football is changing and Luis arike went against that grain and he made a lot of enemies. I saw the Twitch yesterday, so it would have been from the night before, so two nights out from the game. And man, he is in a loose mood. He's laughing and joking. I saw kind of a compilation to cut up of it. And I was just thinking, they better not lose this game. Is this when he said I had my players practice a thousand penalties? So that's something of all the things, right? And there was another moment in the press conference where he's challenged by the Spanish press. Like, have you been working on the things that aren't working? And he kind of snapped. So the tension is readily evident and that's definitely going to affect how he's covered. The penalty comments. That's the one thing I think where he misfired. He talks about, I've told my guys, you know, after the European Championships, you got to take a thousand penalties, you got to be doing it at club. It's not just a lottery, I think that's something you say after the after you win the penalty shootout. Not before you have it. Because you are literally giving ammunition to the press. Yeah, when things don't go well. And penalties are difficult, regardless what some numb nuts will say out there. Okay. Morocco, let's give them their flowers. What do you think of this team and is this the end of the road for them? Or are they capable of more in this tournament? Capable more will be Portugal is what you're saying. Yep, that's next. Yeah. We'll be beating Portugal. Oh my goodness, this is a hard one. I love this Moroccan team. Okay. Go ahead and share it with the crowd. What's your boy told you what happened in Spain versus Morocco? You picked it. I think about it, we have the bracket now, but you've seen the bracket here on football. And he goes, you did pick

"Going to give 25 or 30 for Christian Pulisic, they might just say, ah, the hell with it, we'll keep them around for another year. You really think that's the open market for me. You just told me that Anthony Robinson was rumored 20 million. And now Christian politics. Well, Christian politics, it's all the context, right? Year on his contract, this and that, like, the same thing with Anthony Robinson. Yes, his is done in 2024 as well. You know? So what are we talking about here? If that's the case, there's going to be a fire sale for a whole lot of players. Christian bliss is going to go for more than 40 million. Really? Yeah, I mean, that's the price we've already read. Heading into the World Cup. Now with this World Cup performance, it has to go higher. I don't, anything under 40 million and you should jump on that if you're and it all depends on the timing because if it's a sale now in January, then it's the World Cup is what's factoring in on that value. If it's a sale in June, it's what happens in the next few months. And if that's not playing at Chelsea, pew, that value drops. And if it's playing and playing well somewhere else on loan, that value continues to go up. We normally don't see winter transfers, like big winter transfers. I think you don't think we will this time because of the World Cup. But I think we will because of the World Cup. Thank you. All right, so let's jump off the transfer wire and get to today's action where we had not one, but two very, very interesting games. Quarterfinal field is set at the 2022 World Cup after today's double header will start with Morocco against Spain. This one went about as you thought it might span with 75% of the possession and one measly shot on

"World if you will. And it got me thinking like, nobody stock has gone up more. Not even in the American market, like Timothy weah. It's literally Timothy waya is the one guy right now that you would have to really say took his play to the next level. Whether it's on the ball or off the ball, this man has proved his worth offensively. Christian Pulisic may have been your most productive player in this World Cup, but the most dangerous player for the U.S. men's national team was without a doubt, Timothy weah. And Leo, why maybe a good level? Okay, I don't think it's the level for him. I think there are bigger clubs out there for him and at Lille. I mean, he was playing right back exactly long ago. Like there's bigger and better out there for him. So he's playing some right wing. Somebody saved him from this purgatory. And even when he's playing, he's not playing much. He had 317 minutes this season. So some of that's injuries. But he's either playing out of position or not playing. He's 23 years old. His contract expires in 2024. So what's important to that? Well, it might be that Leo right now. Easy out. It's an easy out. And if they wait any longer, if they wait 6 months, now he's the player with one year left in his deal. And if you're looking at him as a long-term project, which most teams probably would be at a 23 year old, then you just say, oh, he's got a year left on his deal. We'll just wait 6 months. And get him on a free. You write 6 months. Exactly. And so I think there's a motivation here potentially for Leo to sell based on him boosting his stock. Just to clear something up. So fabricio Romano did confirm that there's interest from Inter Milan in Antony Robinson, where he said there wasn't interest. I believe this is what you're referencing is Tyler Adams. There were some other links, but he cleared that up that Tyler Adams and Inter Milan, they're had not been maybe direct there. So let's just clear that up. And it's interesting that it's Tyler Adams. Because that's why I'm going with for stock up, right? I feel like Tim with a great shout. But if we talk about players who jumped off the screen at you for what they did, in pretty much all the games, except for Netherlands and maybe there's maybe there's something to be said about at that elite level. He didn't shine like he did in the first three games. But my man covered more than 8 miles of ground,

"Manchester City wolves. They want into one's competition for Demarco, but they also I think probably need a backup plan, right? Yeah. I don't know if you want to go somewhere in the backup plan. My question to you, 'cause here's where I see the difference in a Fulham Inter Milan. At inter you are much more likely to get European competition and Champions League football. So to a footballer, what's the value of that? Because you're not getting that Fulham. The value of that is iron sharpens iron. Right, that's the value of it. Whereas in Fulham, he's been there for a while. He's been the man for a while. I believe at one point Guardiola threw his flowers at him. Talking about Anthony Robinson. He's been a good player, so that's there's a value to being somewhere where you're constantly competing. I'm not saying he doesn't compete at Fulham, but he's already kind of dominated the Fulham hole, if you will, the Fulham. Space. Yes, thank you. Yeah. He's already dominated that if you took berhalter's point about locking down a job. Doesn't mean he's dominated the Premier League. No space, but that. Yes. Yeah, no, it's a good point. All right, let's go even bigger picture in terms of Americans because it does genuinely seem like right now coming off this World Cup the round of 16 exit, but also getting out of the group phase. That there is a lot of interest right now in terms of American players. So if we take those two guys off the table, who for you is the American that is most up their stock through the four games that this World Cup. Okay. I'm thinking about actual stock, like who can up their stock unknown to the rest of the world if you will. And it got me thinking like, nobody stock has gone up more. "You imagine that game going? Yeah, so that gave I'm thinking about it as such a special game being able to play against England. I feel America England being able to play potentially against dude Bellingham, because Smith role, people that played. At the World Cup, it can't get bigger than that. And this is an experience that I'm trying to really enjoy and also do really well in because it's a very big game, you know, playing a quick one. Can you persuade following ballagan to come and play for the U.S. filed this one time switch to the United States of America? I'll try my best to do it. Definitely. Two last things, this past April, you played in the Cooper del Rey final with Valencia and the game went to penalties and you heartbreaking league sent yours deep into the Seville night. Real bettis when the trophy and it would break lesser players and I know it gave you a number of sleepless nights in the week, but you said something truly incredible in an interview recently that I think it's really important for our audience to hear and the true glimpse of your mindset Eunice. You said that you went home, watch videos of Messi and other great missing penalties and that if an opportunity like that presents itself again, you'll be the first to step up to the spot. Can you tell us that story in your own words because it's incredible? I really struggle to understand what happened because I'm normally a good at penalties and then all of a sudden I miss. I was the only guy that missed that penalty she taught as well. It was just heartbreaking to see what my teammates cry and fans cry and stuff gray and the disappointment you know. I just felt like it was, you know, I could have done better and a few days later I think I must have put videos of big players missing penalties in general. You know, there was a buffet, for example, at the Euros, that was messy for a couple of America final. Even statistics, I wanted to look at statistics as well. The ratio of Messi and stuff that they've missed a few years ago. So that didn't make me feel a bit better knowing that big players have missed them as well, but it didn't change the fact that it happened. And it took a while for me to recover from it, but my teammates, the fans of Valencia, everyone really helped me out. My family today, I feel stronger. But that mindset of yours that you would step up again. How do you get to that mindset unit? 'cause that is the mindset of a warrior. Yeah, it's because I need to do it again and score to be able to move faster. That's why. That is the mindset of true tenacity, which brings me to my last question, Eunice. Your journey is remarkable. Do you think your own story is remarkable? I feel like it's very unlikely to happen. Doesn't have an often here. But your story is also one of challenge after challenge after challenge that you've overcome with true strength and also risk-taking. What quality is it about yourself that you look at that has allowed you to do what you've done and at 19 years old to be about to play in massive movements in massive games for our nation. I'm quite religious, so I always go back to thanking God for everything that's happened because without him I would be able to deal with the things I have, but then obviously after praying and everything you have to put work in and you get rewarded for me and stuff. So I feel like since I was in London, played for arsenal. I would always play an extra work. My family really strict on me, not finding the wrong crowds and everything. So that helped me stay focused as well. School finish, I would go home quickly change, go for training, get an hour early and just train things like this, help me really improve. And I was just so determined to become a professional footballer. My dream. And I was like, I've got to do what it takes to do it. Every information that I coach you tell me, nutritionist, what scientists will tell me I will try and listen to it and so much hard work was put into it. I know I can tell me I didn't work hard.

"It. I decided to present the United States first and foremost because it's the country I was born in. I think it makes sense to represent that. And you can't spell Musa without USA. On the field, what's it like to try and build an instant connection with the likes of pulisic, western McKinney, Tyler Adams. Can you talk about what it's like to work out how to bring the best out of each of those guys? It was quite simple actually. You see what they're good at. And then you let them do it. That's it. You see what a good idea let them do it. So Christian is good at receiving the ball in pockets. So I'll give the bull and I know he'll be able to do something for example. And western, given the boys will give him space and you'll turn and dribble past people really easy to understand. You know that good at it. So let him do it. When you look at Tyler Adams, what do you think? This guy will hold out that we feel like he would start anyone that comes there with a boy so clean as well so we just have quick tight connections and we play through teams like that. We just pass move, touch the ball. We might deal one too. I don't know it, but it's because things that I think are not true in people style of players. When you're up so that style of play is similar, it just clicks. The role you play in World Cup qualifying was so bloody impressive, but still to me, under sung, you impressed even the most jaded fans with your ability to navigate yourself out of the tightest spaces. You just how do you describe what you bring to the team in your own words? Trust putting me in so many matches in the qualifiers. I'm grateful for that. And I feel like in the team, I give a lot of dynamic movements. I help bring the ball forwards up the pitch. I feel like that's what I do. It allows us to break the other team's press and get into the final fed. Those Eunice moose runs up the middle, big train coming. I think I did a lot. There's something I enjoy doing. It feels good to be able to be of a players and then give a nice pass afterwards. You are an incredible player on the pivot receiving the ball facing your own goal and before we know it, you charging towards the opposition end. When you play on the half turn like that, you can't see what's behind you. How do you do it? Is it like a 6th sense? Is it just a feeling? The guy that's going to pass you the ball is ready to go and you just check his behind you. It's important to just check your shoulders. That's not an easy skill to do because you want to focus on when the voice come in, you know. But yeah, it's important to check your shoulders and you know your surroundings like that. So watching American David silver at times. When the U.S. finally qualified for the World Cup, almost a year to the day after you committed your international future to the team. Describe those emotions Eunice Musa World Cup coming. I feel like we could finally breathe. Finally breathe and it's not easier to qualify for a World Cup. I know that now. I was just trying to live the moment and think back of all the matches and all the hard work we put in and finally enjoy that moment of now we've done it. We're now going to go to the World Cup. Wow. There's a clip that came out right afterwards on the team plane back from, I think, Costa Rica. 19 year old Gio rayner 20 year old gianluca boutier and you just hit in the Gritty down the aisle of the team plane. And I watch that Eunice. You suddenly look like you are just a bunch of young Friends, young mates have in the time of your lives and living out your dreams together. Is that what it feels like to you? Very much. That was it. And it was like, we don't care. We qualify for the World Cup, you know, we don't care what anyone says. We're trying to enjoy ourselves out here. We quite excited for the whole cup, yeah? That was all that moment was about. You couldn't have had more coffee with Jade ourselves. Lastly, that's it. I'm a new citizen of the United States and it really is the honor of my life to be here. And I'm fascinated to hear having played for the United States units through this Concacaf qualifying journey. Bonding with your teammates representing this nation. In your own words, has it changed or deepened the connection that you feel to the United States? Yeah, a 100%. Now I'm closest to the guys. I know just the guys playing in the stadiums in the U.S. with those funds is such a great way. These guys seeing the whole match saying your name. They're great finds. They go find the funding with them is amazing. And it makes you feel a part of the culture. And you remember that forever. In terms of what American football is, you know, Christian politics talked about his goal with this team is to redefine what the world thinks about American football. Having played inside the team now, what would you describe American football as? Well, American football now. So the style of play where we are so good with the ball, but not just with the ball. Without the rule, we kill teams with a press and the intensity that we bring for our partners is a really tough way to play against us. It's really tough. When you think about the World Cup now, it's just three months away. What are you picturing? What do you imagine? Would you hope to achieve? That group stage is so important to be able to get through that. I feel like we as a group will be very disappointed if we don't achieve anything in the group change because of the talent and the quality and who we are. I feel like that's a very something we need to do. U.S. are going to play England, November 25th, two teams you could have played for. It's the Eunice mussa Derby. Yeah, yeah. How much are you looking forward to that one? What do you expect to feel?

"A man of action and a man of action now, but it took just one year of the Valencia academy. Before you were promoted to the first team, making your La Liga debut at 17 years and 8 months old, starting against Levante and becoming depending on which nation's journalist was writing the story, both the first English man and the first American to debut for the club. When you stepped onto the field, fulfilling your dream to be a professional footballer at such a young age, take us back to that debut unis when you stepped on the field ahead of the game. What did it feel like finally making it as a pro were you excited? Were you nervous? Were you in awe? Give us a sense of the emotions. Yeah, firstly, I was shocked that I was starting. That was the biggest shock. I was expecting hopefully I'll get 5 minutes or something from the bench, but I started the game, and yeah, I was like, oh, these 5 players were talking to me, telling me to have confidence, giving me advice on what to do on the pitch. And I thought a lot of pressure, obviously, because it's my chance and I have to take it out of time, you're like, okay, you've done this a lot of times, just chill out. Remember what you can do? Remember you're good at this. Keeping yourself with confidence, but also very focused. I was like, yo, this is what I've wanted. Let's take the chance, man. Let's go do it. When these old Spanish pros, we're trying to give you advice before the game. Will you just hearing mumble mumble mumble? Or could you hear what they were saying? I'd be so nervous, man. I actually like fully listened to what they'll say, 'cause I was like, these guys know what they're talking about, you know? Let me just listen carefully. I do what they say. You quickly broke two more records, just two months later, as the first non Spanish player to ever score for Valencia and becoming Valencia's youngest goal scorer this century. Sending eyebrows raised across the world with Eunice and exhilarating beauty of a breakaway solo ghoul against guitar, November 2020. I want to relive this moment with you. How did it feel like goals 17 years old? The ball dropping to your feet in your own half so much distance to go with deciding like a kick returner taking it to the house. What goes through your mind on a run like that? Avoid immediately like, I've got so much space behind the back line there. I'm quick. Let's take them for a run, really. Chef running next to me that I could have asked you, but I wanted to score and also I trusted in my ability to be quick, you know, and be the defender. Every app is really fast. The decision you have to make. I'm running with a bull. And after control it well, I have to check if after pass it to cherish her for not. And then look at the keeper. When you pull your foot back, you just, and you're like, oh my God, I better not F this up, but after coming all this way. Yes, you think that as over like, once I look at the key on the go, that's what I decide where to put it. I took the decision and if when you scored, what does that feel like celebrating a goal in La Liga? Was that a moment like I belong? You said that you said it. A year ago, I was struggling in the BT and then scoring a goal now. What a feeling something that I dreamed of a very long time. Finally happens. I was just trying to enjoy the moment and enjoy the match. "yunus" Discussed on How to Study the Bible

"As his servant and as his servant, he actually has a purpose for your life that he has given you work to do? It's good work to do and that actually you're not going to be able to be equipped for what he's calling you to do if you are not in scripture experiencing this God breathed thing that trains us and teaches us and corrects us and challenges us and all of these things to equip us in righteousness because that's what the Bible says about itself. Welcome to how to study the Bible, my name is Nicole yunus and I am thrilled to be your host, your coach, your counselor, a little bit of that kick that you might need to get into God's word for yourself. We are going to be spending the next few sessions together talking about how we can develop a framework where we actually experience God for ourselves, not through a devotion, not even through this podcast, but because you're opening your own Bible and having your own experience with a personal God who wants to speak directly to you. Many of us have had, let's say, an emotional experience where we heard a really uplifting worship song or we went to a retreat or camp or we heard a speaker that really felt like it spoke directly to our heart. And we get really fired up and we're like, this is it. This is when I become a serious Christian who actually reads my Bible and enters into this new spiritual realm, whatever we imagine or our mind that's going to look like. But then we go to God's word and maybe we don't know where to start or we're not sure what we're reading. We don't know how to apply it to our lives, and so once again, we close that Bible, we turn back to maybe a devotion or a podcast, which are all good things, but we're missing out on the actual source, the place where we can have our own experience, our own encounter with our loving God who wants to provide us direction for our life, who wants to provide us comfort, encouragement, challenge, and really, at the end of the day, relationship. So if we don't know how to do that, or we haven't had a good experience in the past, we can feel like we must be missing something. So before we even get into a framework that I really believe can work for all of us, no matter what your experiences have been in the past, before we do that, today we're going to talk about some of those obstacles that you've experienced, perhaps your friends or family members have experienced that have kept us from spending time in the Bible, and how can we actually get past those so that when we're working through this framework, we are willing to stick with it. We believe that it's going to work because I really believe that it does work. And I've seen it work, time after time in people of all ages, all stages all backgrounds, no matter what denomination you've come from, no matter where you began your faith, really having the how, how do I do this, makes.

He's very famous here now because he was the one who had alerted other doctors in a we chat group of a mystery virus that had emerged in his hospital. He later was silenced. By police he then caught the virus himself and then he eventually died and of course that virus is the one that is now known as covid nineteen be economy though and businesses generally have been much much better since the beginning of the year. The economy is on track to Folks post some of the strongest growth compared to a lot of other major economies in twenty twenty one about eight percent but still life is not totally back to normal. And tell you that. Because just today i found out that my new year's eve plans have been cancelled and a lot of that is because we keep getting these mini outbreaks here in beijing. So we have twenty reported cases and one point two million people have been tested in the city and then on top of that. There's still a lot of controversy as you can imagine over the origins of the virus. And what exactly happened in hon. So yesterday the chinese cdc had said that the antibody prevalence rate for wuhan was four point. Four three percents so some experts were looking into that figure and saying that that suggests that in wuhan about half a million people which is about ten times more than the reported cases heavy infection or were exposed to covid as a lot of questions here and then this week. Another story that that people was that a local journalist was sentenced to four years of prison time because of her reporting and wuhan so obviously the authorities. Here don't want. The those types of reports should be conflicting with the narrative that they want to continue to perpetuate a here in china as well as overseas.
