"I need to be a relationship. I need to be around friends. I need to be around groups where people understand that. Because i feel like period if you talk to your friend talk to your family if you conserve the people around you. That's why we're finding difficult to go. Talk to a stranger. God that is so true. Comp- i completely agree agree one hundred percent but that also comes back to that thing with like he needs to be around people who are feeding your soul. Yeah who you feed. The soul is like now always says you can't be around. Yes people all the time. But i can. Yes yes every part of it. Well in regards to that. Do you have like any resources like anything that you found helpful throughout your journey that you could recommend any other young people and just people in general who might be going through a similar experience. I'm quite a loss. So obviously fussing gp today jp. "I start tightening up too much i from early position. I start tightening up too much. What ends up happening. More often than not is i find myself. Dwindled down to twenty two big winds. And i'm like i'll faulk now. Now you're playing like chauffeured. Verse raises a lot and stuff like that. Yeah it's definitely an issue and if you think about it like this to your this is a pretty wide open that we just saw them to the right and this is assuming that it's playing against itself right the solver so that's a pretty tough player. That's playing against the three beds. A lot puts it in tough spots in reality. A lot of tables where people don't really three bet much versus thirty big sex as you might actually get away with more raises than are on the charts like the next level of using this information is like oh if can do this against the top player maybe against like a soft light degrees king five suited or i can raise pocket fours or as adolf suit or something like that. I listen. I already feel like i'm ready to play tournament. Let's go. I'm doing okay. Let's let's get really fun and you start saying this up. You're like. I wanna use this now okay. So this is the classic via what. Is this your how to play a hand from anywhere at any stack size. Yes so okay so basically. Let's say you take a hand. That's tough for you. Like jackie suited. If you click on. Jackie suited jack. So that's on a click on jacket suited. There you go yeah so. Let's say that jackie too. It's a hand that you weren't really sure. Play from early middle position. Whatever you feel less confident with it so now if you go over to that created that you're on you look at it that british showing you how to play jacket suited from every position on every stack size when it's unopened to you. I wanna see you know at. I think i know. I want to see that too but i'll tell you dispatch. Does this seem like a world war anyone's happy. You know what does not no not so happy as just i don't think happens of his an option for you. Yeah so that's why. A close second is i want. I want to see tremendous amount of violence. Maybe even want to see a final showdown of yuji versus hookah or go joe versus. Who is someone. I wanna see. Only somebody finds soukhanov full strength. I guess my website doesn't really at the top of my list. Okay okay. I like that you get a taste of that. I'll tell you that much. And so you're 53 that you said 54 before, Right? I'm 54 as well. Right? So I'm trying. I'm in your position. You're gonna get a side hustle like here. Mark, you're gonna get a side hustle. I don't know if I'd used that German don't you referred to? He called, Um I would sell those would sell that s and P fund half this year and half in the next week, Right and then half in January. Actually, I would do the tax calculation on the tax calculation before And most most. You're going to get some of this, Maybe even in a 15%. It'll be a little army of 15%, plus the just the game portion I mean, this is why you say this one's money in this account? That's right, Then you don't have a big mortgage payment. You don't have the big mortgage payment every month. Yeah. Could be a dragon. Yeah. Give your wife when your wife quits working. If there's a health issue, and she can't work anywhere, you lose your sight household. Sure. Yeah, I agree with Scott. I've run the numbers and seriously I would run the numbers now this weekend on Monday, if you don't give and run the numbers and see how what of the What percent of this Yuji sell this year? What should you sell? Next year? I would. I would liquidate 100% of it. I've put all that post pay the tax. It's not gonna be that bad. It's just that game fortune. It's capital gain tax rates, and if you do the calculation, you could spread it over the years to counter years and then Having smallest mortgages possible. You get a 30 year fixed rate. Get a 30 year fixed rate. Probably fix, right? Yeah, maybe inside house. Where you going? Can I give another thought here? Whatever. It just paid a down payment of 100,000 for 20% so numb pain A. T m I And so I take it alone A $400,000 and I kind of just used these other counters kind of a sinking fund over the years. It's just kind of pace herself. Because it's it's doing a lot better than the current interest rate it did. It did a lot better. It's not doing anything. Yeah. I mean that. Essentially, that is, uh, your earn more long term in the S and P 500, But you're gonna have some pretty wild rides along the way. And I'm just thinking about your own cash flow. What's coming through the house? Is that what you? Yeah, Because then you've got to what you're doing is you're talking now, actually about leveraging your home. Because essentially what you told us is that you've rolled all your gain into this count over time, right? Right. And you took that game and you invested in the S and P 500. You were going to use this at some point time to buy another house. Correct. Correct. OK, so it would be the equivalent of you paying cash for a house and then taking a loan out on the home and find the S and P 500. Would you do that? No, Never. No, That's yeah, That's zero. Your original thesis, so your basis for saving the dollars Is exactly what I just described. Right, Right. So if you're comfortable taking a loan out on your house because it's the same capital game is always better than a capital loss. And I totally understand why you're in this predicament. I mean, I get it right. No one wants to pay taxes when you don't have to, and you're thinking this would be feels like a voluntary tax. But But that's got us cut. But think about this right? Excuse me. Think about how is your Roth IRA allocated? Is it all 100% equities? Oh, absolutely. Yes, it's all 100% equities in the Roth IRA. Yes, and your IRA has 100% equities in it as well. The tradition of the Roth your traditional Traditionals all in in bonds. Okay, So here's here's like, if you want if you want to hold your position if you want to hold your position in the market and create increase the equity exposure inside your IRA and sell the S and P 500 off on your In your brokerage account, and you're gonna get to the same place. The only downside is you gotta pay me. You gotta pay the tax man that that's right. It's hole already. Would do it, though about it. I think you'll feel by the way if you the smaller the mortgage. You have that. I think the more confident going to feel during the next major downturn with the stock market that's coming at some point. I may be. Who knows when but at some point down, it'll be there. The smaller the mortgage, you have the more confident gonna feel in the better. I believe the better You'll do it by weathering that storm. So anyway, glad you called Mark and Certainly with you and your family. "Hi, Allie welcome to the PODCAST. I'm Madeo. Thank you very much for having me. I'm really excited to talk about we haven't had anybody on the podcast that is speaking directly to yoga and breath work in the way that you teach install very excited to have you today. Thank you I. You know excited and I, Love Hey House and. That last book of Tibet. The newer for health and wellbeing. This is my passion. So yes, excellent. Excellent. There's a there's a number of things I'd like to talk about with you today including your. Your advice on integrating meditation and Yoga into our everyday life and are busy schedule as well as your work with Yoga and breath work in a clinical medical sending including with your with cancer patients. But I, I like to ask you about how you got here how we got here with you, and maybe we can start with your own yoga and meditation training under your revered teachers in Nepal and India. So can you give us a brief version of of how you began your studies to help us situate where you're learning has is coming from Sure sure. Emmy see how brief I can. So really when with the Tibetan tradition, it really started when I in my first trip to India in nineteen, eighty nine. And I was really looking for teacher. I wasn't sure if it was going to be an Indian teacher Tibetan teacher I was more familiar with the teachers I did get to meet with Yuji Christian motifs of not the famous one JD. Wonderful Yuji Chris for more and more. And then some g my analogy, and then actually when I met the two BETTON SAT in La. It really started inspiring me and particularly the way that. They had this devotion to the picture of its own is a Lama and I have to admit I didn't know too much about His Holiness yet. But then doing the trip. It was when he was. Awarded the Nobel Peace Prize I was actually cashier at that time I remember reading that in the US favor now it's like Wow so happy a give my mom. My Dad had been awarded the prize and and and I said, I need to meet this man. In fact that evening they showed on the Indian TV. Heart of Tibet. That I la that was actually the forward or was by pressing Carter. And I. So I went from touch me to down silos where the Delilah was. It was. During that time, he was the fortieth anniversary of the children village. That's the first time I saw him talk. Then I went for you know a public interview and I kind of. was trying to be there as much as I could and at the same time I got my first. Personal teacher, which was you should origin. Bodies, Yogi. And he was particularly into the tradition of true and. Whether he was the Weatherman for the Dalai Lama. and. I started training with them I. Did my longer with him or started the non right ended up seventy slater finishing That really led me to come back towards t Tina where I'm originally from. And really start devoting a lot of time to practice and then was in ninety one that. I, I met a number no group chain that he came to Argentina I nine, hundred ninety and I am Alejandra can I can I just mention here that that sort of what you're talking about a little bit is that when the Tibet you mentioned that you met the Delami in in in northern India in Dharamsala. And this is after for our listeners who don't know the when the Dalai Lama a came into exile when he left Bet in one, thousand, nine, hundred, eighty, nine, he and about two, hundred thousand. Refugees settled in the northern regions of India and where the Dalai Lama lived was Dharmsala, and so that was one of the first places that you went to in. That is sort of this hub of the Tibetan diaspora that is sort of surrounds the Dalai Lama, and then eventually Tibetans have gone of course throughout the world and there's two. Betton. Buddhist. Centers throughout the world and so you were kind of a beneficiary. You came along in nineteen, eighty, nine, nineteen ninety and started studying with some of these teachers who weren't only in India around the dilemma. But who had gone elsewhere you mentioned non-pwi Norbu Rhumba Jay who had gone to to Italy, and then there were other centers where you were living in Argentina. Yes, and so I. I did consider you know for for some time Don, Sala my second home I spend many months there. And that's where actually ish adorned pitches monastery wall. So. As, you said Dharamsala was this hub and I really considered my second home. I spent many months there intermittently going from there to other places and back, and that is really were you had his monastery and and. So meeting the Dalai Lama and trying to be as much as possible with them. But also really having a personal teacher like you should was really important to me so that when I came back to Argentina that I felt there was no one there in luckily I was wrong was a small. Karma Kagyu Center. And also kind of a unique center the first teacher I met when when I go towards. Metering And then Nunca Norman as I mentioned the Nunca over pitcher was a big change for me. In the way he taught. So the Tony Brooke he brought the teachings. Into everyday

And I'm not sure what your exact percent should be how much money you should be putting away out of your paycheck weekend week out. But if it's not between ten and fifteen percent. Probably isn't enough unless you're fortunate enough to have what we call a defined benefit pension plan, where when you retire, you get a certain percentage of your salary that's paid out to you. And if antastic project and association based right here in Madrid cord chef you g yes, chef Yuji, while what is chef Yuji. Well, chef Yuji is an association, which collaborates closely with refugees and asylum, seekers from all over the world. And it organizes culinary events. Yes, she knew how to have something to do with food knowing me. But it organizes culinary. Foodie events from pop up diners lunches. Catering team building activities and even cooking classes. And while it's a specially relevant this time of year because this week, Madrid is hosting its third refugee food festival that starting on June the thirteenth, which is this Thursday and runs until the twenty second of June. And while extend to have eleven restaurants across Madrid participating, and in those eleven restaurants there are going to be twelve refugee cooks. Or chefs placed inside those restaurants cooking the cuisine the food from their home. Countries collaborating with the chefs at those restaurants, and creating some exciting fusion dishes, as well. The only change the stereotypes of refugees, we also give them the capacity to be the one giving and sharing, especially something as rich and close to their heart ask their culture, which is in their food. So a bit later on in the show. I'll be talking to Natalia the F who oversees the chef Yuji association here in the Spanish capital, and she'll be explaining more about the chef Yuji association. What its mission is how it started and how it's grown since twenty sixteen when it was first setup and. She's gonna talk a bit about what foodies can expect to taste at the refugee food festival. "I mean, she's done is like on another level. I'm like damn. I'm always like what you did that who are you? So that makes it not makes it easier because I think if she hadn't had all these unique life experience experiences, there would be this sense of like, I didn't get to do this. Or I I regret not seeing that or you know, whatever. But she doesn't have that. So she I mean, I would say hashtag no regrets right Monday. No. Yeah. I mean, I've had such a wonderful life. And also, as you know, when you were growing up every time, we got to do some fun thing. Hawaii trip or run the beta breakers of the family, my favorite thing. I've always said this could be the last time we do this. So you guys appreciate it. Remember to appreciate everything. And I've done that my whole life not just after the cancer. So that's really lucky I've been like that. 'cause I have been in a state of gratitude forever. I'm just no. I mean since I was little aren't you? So woke mom Yuji. I just learned that we're woke. Yeah. But you're nailing it. You're very on brand for this podcast because gratitude comes up all the time. But yeah. In the video, I watched with you guys it became very clear. Not just from you mentioned that you did use to have the kids. I rolling as you said, we may never be back here. This is the only time we could do this. Right. But just in general your approach to life has always been even if you're at work.

"Is is that Korito has Yuji. Oh, now eight you. He was pretty a pretty don't dude in his own, right. Even though Korito taught him the source out eighty has. But for some reason, and there's a lot. There's a lot of question marks that a still unknown about Yuji. Oh, and I for some reason I feel I he's going to be the new my career toes gonna go off eventually and not as like I. Don't do. None of this stuff. No more. And for some reason, I think you g you GO is going to be like, the new main character for sort online for some reason. I think he's going to be like this top swordsman. Eventually, I don't know. I don't know. Why think that? But I I mean, I know I think that because like he's really shown that he can come with it for some reason. I don't know he doesn't have like multiple swertz like he doesn't have a five. We haven't seen him have like a five level attack or anything like that. But you've seen like his one in two attacks like super strong or he has like disability just like really put forth his spirit in his sword. And we've seen that happen multiple times. So I just don't know. I'm thinking I'm thinking Geos going to be like the new sort online. But we'll see we'll see that shows going good real good. Of course, shutout is black history month. What are the biggest things that? I wanna to do one of the people that have I've talked to multiple times in industry is is the. The company is Noir, Cesar LLC, they gotta website chicken out snore, Cezar dot com. I believe they are the company that wants to have more representation of other characters diversity characters in their shows. And so they have they have manga titles. They have enemy titles that have a complete list of different characters and Warren portly black representation. And that's one of the things that the president. I talked to him and acted interview with him way back at cruncher twenty seventeen you can get that on our YouTube at expressed team wave at you to we talked to him, and this this was way before of course, like I say this crow twenty seventeen but they've come out now at a lot of titles. Somebody's titles are written by African Americans drawn by African Americans and stories by about Afrim, Afghan. American. So for black history month the first day of black history month of February. I I decided I'm going to go and I went through rice stuff dot com, and I'm just gonna go get these manga titles like their their flagship projects primis seven shine to- playboy, I was like I'm going to go get these manga titles and and get through their titles to see what they're bringing as far as anime manga. And so far I've been really impressed with primis seven this prime seven manga is really something. Like, I'm really loving it. The care all the characters. Look, great, not just African American characters the Latino characters the Caucasian characters oughta carrots is looked great. The drawing is great storyline is great. There's there's some ha ha humor moments in it that I really love eve. Even even even the part where they plug. There's one scene and primis seven where they're looking at manga books on a shelf and one of the one of the manga books is actually the cover of Shinto one of private one. Oh, I'm sorry. One of new are Cesar flagship titles, and I'm like, oh, I see what you did there. I see what you did that. I'm just like high. That's that's really funny to do. And like something like that is just really gives a manga really gives a company character when you do things like that. And it's just refreshing to see that. And I hope they go like I was I was wanted to guys that was supported their Kickstarter for promise seven the anime. And I really wish that would have got off the ground, but it didn't. But I was like, hey, I'm supporting you guys number one, and I put my money in with them, but that kick-started dingo off, but they came. Back and make the mongers they are still working on some anime episodes that another. But I'm so far I'm living. I'm living with they are providing with Maga check the website out. They got a couple of t-shirts and gear and shoes. But they got mine you even read some of the volumes for free on a website. But I decided since they were new to write stuff, and I've I've been dealing with right stuff. Right stuff is a online company where you can get a lotta anime merchandise manga anime shows movies, all that stuff all their wholesale. All the stuff that you've been looking for you can get most of it from them wall, scrolls, mugs cups, glasses pint glass all that stuff shot glasses. You can get all that stuff. And right stuff that calm. I'm shameless Lee plugging them, but they are new the mangas from Newark as our LLC their new to write stuff, and I decided what better way to support black his. Sherie mom, then going to rice stuff would new titles. Support knows titles done by AfriC African America's written by African Americans with all this diversity of characters. What better way to support black history month than that? And I still get to love my anime manga what better way. And that's what I did. So shout out to new are Cesar shout out to Johnny O'Brien, his whole crew and staff over there. They they're great people thought him again at enemy UIC. They're good people over there. They don't some good things. They don't some great diversity things doing some great African American things level with they're doing. I can't wait to see more from him and just shout out to them. Good stuff. Good stuff. If you if you haven't go, get primis, seven rice stuff dot com, they have it. And if you don't if you don't have the money, I only pay like what fourteen fourteen fifteen bucks for the mangas. If you don't have the money, you can read some of these vibes. Like, I said for free on their website on new are Cesare's website. So check that out there on the way to being be. And guess what you know, January sixteen. We had one of the biggest movie premieres in anime all across the world. All across the glow. We're talking ten billion dollars worldwide. Ten billion dollars worldwide. We talk about dragon ball super Brawley the movie. Yes. And I was fortunate enough to be able to host an event at my local movie theater. Shoutout to

The second partner was like, I guess you'd call it like a sweat equity partner. This was somebody that had been like helping me, you know, when this other thing didn't work out. And I was in such scarcity mindset that when that person exited the picture that I just locked onto the next person was just like, hey, you be my partner, he know. Like again, like just didn't know what the hell I was doing. Somebody you could do it on your own rights. Yeah. Yep. I was I was the pendant. I was looking for the answers, you know, in in other people. And so that person of being like super toxic was just a liar in. It was just it was bad with such a good liar. And so, you know, they all found out about each other in that all blew up, and he tried to open up another facility take all my clients, and that didn't work out and that was lawsuit number two. And so from there, I finally like got everything in my name in the started working with bay droves. That was when I met that was when I met you in Badri ups. Yuji surges of that. Yeah. Yet through YouTube, sir, in that was one like one of his videos really impacted me was you know, where he talked about. You know, there are people out there crying themselves asleep at night because they don't know about the information you have and that hit me at a time where I was really like feeling sorry for myself. Like, you know, I'm convicted felon like who who am I to share my training information with people like really feeling unworthy in that hearing that was just basically like you selfish bastard, you know, how selfish view. Because it is so powerful. Me. In them. Yeah. So yeah. That that day like that. I got to meet you in bay droves. Because it was just us to in life. You knows me tramway in like me and training had gotten together as my fiance, we had gotten together he know through this in she had actually chosen to. She was, you know, gotten into medical school chose not to go to medical school to align. With this crazy person from prison that you know is. Conversation would've been greats been there for me. That was a that was a tough one. But it's all cool now. But yeah. That. These things because they are just so so -rageous reading like who could even write a movie, but this that you're you are persevering it and seceding, man. You know, you said he's coaching Email every week..
