"Delighted to say that I am joined by the legend and now arc winning trainer sir Mark Prescott. A week and a half after the big day at Paris long, so Mark, welcome to racing live on talk sport two. Thank you very much for having me. I'm very very pleased to be on. Thank you. It's great to have your company. Take me back to that afternoon and parry long sharp with The Rain absolutely pelting down, but none of that mattered. When she crossed the line, what was that feeling like? Marvelous, I have to say it was a wonderful, wonderful day. And I can't believe how much I enjoyed it. And I can't believe what a wonderful reception, the horse got it, France, and I talked back in the evening and I just couldn't believe she won so easily. And I'd also got kissed by two of the leading trainers in France, Monsieur rouge and M fab, that must be at a unique occasion. To have both of them coming up to you. Last week, that must be a unique occasion. No English training can possibly have done that. I was going to say they're not the biggest fans it was coming over there and taking their price. Clearly they were like, they couldn't have been more gracious and it was just a wonderful day, you know, and I hope everybody has a wonderful day in their lives and that was my wonderful day, marvelous. The ground for the race was awful, but she was traveling powerfully and eye catchingly well. What were you thinking at the three forlong marker given the fact that she was traveling so strongly? Well, as you pointed out, I couldn't believe that one of mine was going as well as that three prolongs from home. Never mind in the Arc de Triomphe. So it was a sort of completely unlikely scenario and I watched in stunned silence and it was just marvelous and she's won 6 group ones now in a row. She's not been beaten for two years. And it's just been a marvelous to train a fairly who's run a little bit better. Every single race of her life. She's improved a little bit. I suppose the old adage of nothing improves the horse more than winning. She's probably the best example. The stats boys will absolutely love you because it will now read some mark Prescott, two runners, one winner, 50% strike rate, follow him blindly in the arc from their ones. Your first runner was in 2001. Alpha needs to come along. Yeah. We had a lovely old horse run a few years ago and he was just there for the joy. He'd won the Magnus and he beat the second and he board, they'd had a wonderful time. But he ran a good race. And we've been lucky there, of course, as well, because Marcia won the Abe. And confidential lady won the French oak. So I've had a few Dunkirk's in France, but I've also had three or four good days. I'm going to take that line. And borrow that one to use for future efforts as well. If you don't. But how you've campaigned her has been absolutely wonderful. And there's a lovely side plot to this as well, which is that you know the family incredibly well, because you trained a wilder, you trained her dam, albanova, who's a sister to a dual champion stakes winner for you as well. Knowing the family as intimately as you do and having had success with them as well, so Mark, how does she compare to horses previous? And on that, to have a bloodline and this is one of the special things about racing is that bloodlines continue. So we're talking about a bloodline that goes all the way back to 97 and 98. I think this one the damn sister won the champion stakes for you two years in a row. Yeah. To have that continue for so many years after what does that mean to then culminate with the arc success as well? Well, mister rousing, who bred them, she's had this family 5 generations. And I've trained three generations as you rightly say. And the first one I had was 36 years ago. So it was a great day for miss rousing and for me. It was a fantastic day when you've had as long an association with a family and with an owner family horses and an owner and a stud and the stats now married managed by John ox in Ireland and we went over to look at the yearlings about four weeks ago and I think miss rousing really got me over there to get school by mister ox as to what to do as much as to look at the hearings. Did he have any sage words of advice for you? He had absolutely done, you know, the lovely man he is, but other good luck, I think that was as far as we got. But Alan royer dupre, he rang me on the Friday night. Via a friend of mine, who used to ride our amateur horses years ago called Tony esler. And Alain rang on pride in item. He asked what the mayor's requirements were and all about her and then he suggested a plan of attack on her I listened to what he said very carefully. So I'm much indebted to him. And so he's wrote Morris, of course, and so is Luke. Yeah, I was just going to mention Luke because I was really taken when I spoke to him during the York ybor festival. It was the day after he'd won the Yorkshire oaks. Just how bullish he was about Paris long shot. Yes. At what point these are very good form. He's excellent at that and he gave her a peach for a ride, which I'll come back to in a second, but at what point was it always the plan this season to get her to the ark was that were you always building to this moment? Yes, very much so because last year she won three group ones in Germany and just as we were congratulating ourselves on this fine performance. She won the same three races that her grandmother had won. Michigan and I thought we'd done extraordinarily well. And then, of course, one of the ones we beat went from tasso went and won the ark at 80 to one. And of course all the people who had congratulated on winning what they said were weak group ones in Germany. But now all saying, well, why didn't you run it in the art? There's nothing like after timing. But they were of course right. She was gradually getting to the stage where that ought to be her aim. And this year, everything was around running their originally I'd rather felt we'd go for the coronation and the king George, but she was slow to come in a coat. So we had to do the Grand Prix of St. Cloud and the Yorkshire oaks. But the plan was always to run twice before the R can try and have a very, very best and thank God it came off. And the Yorkshire oaks was a special moment in itself because of the reaction that you got from the crowd and from people within the industry.

"Sport two with someone's gonna do with you for the afternoon, we're bringing you day two coverage of the York ybor festival, the feature race will come up in the social. That's the three 35 the Yorkshire oaks delights to say they're now joined by 88 sport brand ambassador and top jockey star of the show at the shergar cup for Ireland. Neil colonel, welcome back to racing live. Good to be back on. Great to have your company, my friend. Now looking at how things are going for jockeys right now. This rule was brought in, which I think overall is good for your overall health and your well-being and mental mindset that you're only allowed competed one race course. You can't jet off before and drive 5 hours to get to another race course to try and make a ride before the end of the day. But you could have been riding at York yesterday, you chose to go to kempton, which then gets ruled out and canceled despite the fact that it's an all weather race course because of torrential rain. Talk to you at the frustration of yesterday. Yeah, look, I mean, it's a bit embarrassing really I suppose on the racecourse part to be honest, it's purely in the name, isn't it? Or what are the racing? All the racetrack. It's bitch for all weathers. So look, they can come out and say that, you know, the heavy rain came down so quickly in a short space of time and it was a lot of rain, but that's not an excuse. Whole iteration is all what a race and it shouldn't have happened and there's obviously reasons for it. I think personally haven't ridden around it since I came back from last season. I think the track is worn out and I think listening to the other jockeys, a lot of other jockeys have been seeing this for the last three to 5 years that kept and race track is a little bit worn out. It's a bit tired needs replacing, but yet they don't do it. And if this is the repercussions. Well, kempton is a racecourse that always obviously on the brink of destruction at one point they wanted to close it. I think it's pretty obvious that they weren't doing anything in terms of PR to try and get people in there. And there was uproar about that and thankfully that was then canceled. This was all so they could build an all weather track in new market. Makes great sense isn't the closer track in London and build a track miles away up the north and new market genius. That ended up being canceled. I did the last when Skye had the rights to Irish racing. I was the last one to present from Don Doc and I remember being up there with Johnny murtaugh, it would have been late 28 December 2018 and Johnny was furious with the state of Don dog, as was everybody else. Aidan O'Brien, Damien English Sarah linen, they were all having a go, Jerry lines was absolutely seething. And he made that same point that you were making about kempton, was that the track was worn out. And it did eventually need to be replaced, but it took them so long to do it. The trainers eventually just decided they weren't running. And look, all weather racing is very important, but is this what it's going to come down to, that pressure is going to have to be put on captain why have they not just taken the steps in the measure that's needed to relay the track. You can't have an all weather track that has to be canceled because of rain. I think we've been banging our heads against this strong prolonged time. And look, it's a scene with a racing in general. How long have we been saying that there's too much racing too many fixtures, the price money is being diluted and British racing is heading in one direction if there's nothing done about. Now, the fact that the previous chairman or the CEOs of the PHA, like Paul Roy and mister saddles have come out of obviously hidden in the shadows for a long enough. But they've come out invented their frustration because they don't want to sit back and watch this happen and they're bought actually quite big supporters of racing in general as an owner. So they've obviously had enough of sitting on the sidelines in listening and watching and something has to be said. And now that they're coming out and saying it, so hopefully someone is going to listen. Now, it's the same for Kent. It's the same for the older tracks. We need all the tracks. Of course, we need it because like the summer we're having at the moment where there's drought and the ground is firm everywhere and some tracks like bath or whatever can't use a watering system so those meetings have been transferred to the or what I mean over the track. So we do need all what a racing. But if you're going to put on all weather racing, you've got to have it at a certain standard. And it's been I don't look, I can't really comment on because I don't know exactly how long that tracks being down, but I know it's been down a long time. And I know about four or 5 years ago, a few jockeys have been complaining to the track of the course attempted saying that it was worn out then and it needed replacing. So that's four or 5 years ago. Now, for your 5 years on, it's washed out. It can hold the water. Now, if it can't drain the water away, then there's obviously a problem. And yesterday, I arrived at the races, we drove two hours to get there. Obviously we drove through The Rain to go in. There was a bit of rain on the roads on the way in. That's understandable. But

"My Astra from the pretty poly stakes back in June, le petit coco, beat my Astra there by half a length. Those with long memories will probably remember I was with my ostrich, I was a little bit disappointed, but she don't beat our beach. She was only beaten half, and then I do think she was beaten on merit. And when you look back at that rest, I was watching the replay of it early and I think like a tea cocoa one with a little bit more in hand than that half of them suggests to be perfectly nice and she's proven herself to still be in really good heart. There's no disgrace in finishing third to alpinista in the Yorkshire oaks last time. She's just a really likeable feeling. Isn't she la petite coca? And I think. I was struggling really tripping and has been in good form. I think this is more of a class test for Ross cabaret. She was behind my petite cocaine and my Astra in that pretty poly. Didn't think there was a massive amount of depth in here behind the likes of la petite Koko and Maya and I think my petite coco will confirm the form with William haggis Philly. Yeah, I'm surprised that liberty coco is my favorite. I mean, the only difference is that she's gone to York since then. But she did run into alpinista who is now arc favorite. Aside from bad for those who are actually pricing him up in the race. She's the outright favorite if you look at most sportsbooks. So I don't think she did a whole lot wrong that day. And if you're wondering where's Tuesday, late in the morning has told us that she goes for the pre FMI. A long shot. There is a possibility that history will join her only is supposed to line up here. The daughter of winter out of deep impact, that's a beautiful pedigree. Stunning pedigree. So there's a possibility that history will join her, but that's where Tuesday goes. And I don't know if le petit coco should be 5 to two. I don't know if they should be separated at the top of the bedding like that, but we'll see. Last year's going to romantic proposal. Is the 13 to two second favorite to go back to back in the Al basti equi world Dubai flying 5 behind the new sprinting star how I feel princess who beat Menzel then comes out wins a group on and then gets injured. So he's done and retired, which is an absolute blow. Royal claim is back. Highfield princess is two to one with kaluki and the outright favorite romantic proposal, bidding for back to back wins in this race, 13 to two, royal acclaim. Who let's face it was disappointing at York 7 to one. Moniz to 8 and a case of you for Adrian McGuinness. It's on a brief tirade because I'm doing the racing league tonight. And I can't help but going through the race. I'm having a lot of fun with recently. I'm thoroughly enjoying it. Where are the Irish trainers that have signed up for it? The only Irish trainer from Ireland to have had a runner in the racing league is Jessica Harrington. But Joseph O'Brien and Donna O'Brien both trained winners on the opening night last year, neither of them have had a runner. And Adrian McGuinness is part of it. His name is on the website, Michael O Callahan, Mikhail Ford, they haven't had runners. And now this is tonight, which obviously doesn't count because they don't have a runner. They don't have anything entered. And then it's next week, and that's it done for 2022. So why are their names on the site, but yet none of them have sent a runner over for it? Marcus perplexed and doesn't know. I'm very, very confused. With you, I just find the whole thing perplexing really. I'd be lying if I said I'd pay too much attention to the racing league while it's been on obviously. I've done certain I've had to do certain races, report on certain races. On

"One I didn't think I didn't quite expect him to pull up that performance to be honest. No, I thought you could win. I didn't think he was going to do that at all. It was absolutely stunning. And look, that was a career best effort last time in France, obviously, is alluded to the former has been well frankly high school princess going on to win the non Thorpe since. She's coming to the car up. She'll go for the flying 5. She'll take an awful lot of beating there. And it's British champion sprint for Menzel next. Mmm um. And how did that make high flow princess look now? Because their form has been, as you mentioned, it just makes her look absolutely incredible. She's a wonder mayor, isn't she? And one of the best sprinters in Europe, and she shouldn't even really be sprinting due to her pedigree, but she's so versatile, able to win over all sorts of distances. And yeah, means looking like he's on track for the champion's day sprint next time out. He's pretty versatile ground wise, isn't he? But it could get quite testing on champions day. So I wonder how he will fare. I don't think it shouldn't trouble him too much. I think he's one of those shorter conditions in the past, but you never quite know what grant you're going to get on champions day. So yeah, I can't wait to see him out again next. How many total runners has own boroughs had this season? And not many, but I know with the handful of runners that he has had, he has an incredibly good story right. He has a total of 20 runners. 50 if you added all of them up together, but 20 horses have run from the season. His team was decimated. At the start of the season, given the I need to be careful with my wording here now, given what's happened in the past. The restructuring at shadow. Yeah, let's go with that one, shall we? Hook them wins the coronation cup then gets injured on the back of that, which was brutal in itself. But he's managed to bang in plenty of winners. He's got 877,000 in prize money. That's in UK alone. And now got another group on Whitman's house. He's a terrifically talented trainer, and the fact that he's been doing this, and now that he can actually bring in outside owners, surely more people are going to want to be part of the onboard story. You think so I want you well, I would certainly be drawn in. That's just for certain because yeah, I think he's operated at 30% strike rate this season because the handful of runners, he doesn't have many runners, but what he does with his runners is incredible. I think you mentioned there and met two group ones this season. I think for any yard to have that is incredible, but because he hasn't had such a high number of runners that other big yards had had, it's probably even more credit to Owen burrows. And I always think as well when he started the two year old runner, you must always take note because he very, rarely has his two year old sort of that forward as are the big yards might and that's testament to his training abilities, I think. Yeah, that's a good shirt. I like tajik. Is that how you pronounce it? The Churchill, you want any second start. He was a 40 K purchase then was flipped for a 160 grand. I like him a lot. I think he's always to keep a very close eye on it. So yeah, look, it was a really exciting performance. I'm intrigued to see what he does at ascus and you wouldn't want the ground being woeful and ask it can be. I mean, that's one of the things about paid. Do you really want to sit back? And wait, that's what that's what Lizzie Kelly said, the day the day of the Yorkshire oaks, which is the day after the gentleman's international. When I was hosting racing live on talks for two that day, I was doing all of your work. And we were debating about the arc, because I got mugged right off. I asked, thinking I was being clever. Asked William haggis live on the show. Will you go for the arc? And this is before by eat and run, and he said, no, no, no, no, no. It's champions day. If he's beaten here, we'll go QE two. Imagine if he's going to do. If he's beaten here, he even had he even had the presence of mind. He's so humble to say, we've been the king of the mining division, but I think in spiral is going to have something to say about that. What? Amazing. Just amazing. And very humble, very humble. Incredibly humble man. So we'll go QE two over beaten here and it'll be the champion stakes if we win. So that was it. I then proudly tweeted out of the arc is not going to be gone for that. Straight away, it's the arc. And while that's not a done deal, it just makes sense for you to go there. Particularly given the fact that ask its ground, first of all, as Lizzie was saying, you need to keep him ticking over without racing him. If you're not going to go for the RS champion stakes, and if you're then deciding to bypass the arc, which doesn't look very strong, you have to keep him going. And then hope that the ground doesn't turn into a bug, which for all that I love ask it. It's not their fault that that race falls at that time of year. Background has been atrocious over the years. I mean, they've had to run it on the jumps track. That's running on the hurdles course one year.

"I like seeing good horses are dialogs with their reputation and tact tonight. I hope mischief can do that. Yeah, 11.6 million in prize money. It's not ideal to see things go the way they have, but hopefully he can bounce back and same remains for native trail, although I have to be honest about it, I have questions about native trail. While there may be a question mark about participation, there are certainly isn't regarding Alban east as we stay with coupon company. The Dali Yorkshire oaks goes to her, she beats the oaks winner and Tuesday, Irish oaks winner back in 5th and another group one winner, the pretty poly winner le petit coco was third. So it was a race of strength and depth. But the first group one on British soil for albanese and a great site was the fact that summer Mark prescot was actually there. That's becoming a rare sight these days, some rock actually being at the races, but he was there. Thoroughly enjoyed it. And all rose leads to the arc for her now. It's a masterclass placing performance from Samarkand. He is incredible. His job, but it's highlighted with a hike. Often it's highlighted with the horses with lesser ability when they rack up a sequence of wins. Basically, obviously, is very talented, but to place the way he has and not to get excited and go for stay in Phillies company and go for races that she would be vulnerable in it is truly commendable and I haven't written that much for him, but I'm a massive fan of his and I love his company. It's very rare that I spend time with him. I think he deserves a lot of applause for his decision making with this video. He's a proper character, and the crowd would love him. And the Yorkshire crowds are incredible racing minds, and they were just thrilled to be in his company in his presence. Although he did have something sarcastic to say to Lizzie his love, one of the best of the game when he turned her and said, I didn't appreciate you saying, well done, with a furlong to go. On runs. She did have to overcome the late challenge of Tuesday, and it was nice to see her back to something like that. Yeah, something like her best. I would imagine that she'll take in the free de la opera, if not a trip to Irish champions weekend first, but the people opera would see made for her. Yeah, it would. Yeah, obvious Tiger, a little bit of juice, maybe going back and she clearly

"Royal whip, but I actually thought that was a nice comeback. Especially when a brine was warning everybody, he needs this. He badly needs it, and he's going to improve an awful lot from us. So I don't know what you're looking for. And I think the 5 to one over the ice champion sticks in the 16s with the arc is more than pleasing. So Tuesday for Mark and I Ben, are you going to burst our bubble? No, I can actually bike up or on a train or front a no brain is one to Yorkshire oaks, 6 times since 2006. As well as three place horses from a pool of 25 hours, all 6 of those winners were three year olds, 6 or more clear starts and had previously won a group one or group two level. If you look at all the stats and the Brian horses that met those stats, you are foreign wine in the race of one one 5 one one one one. So Brian horses are run unless qualified in those fields they managed to start 6 from 7. Choose the efforts will start. I hope to you as I mentioned on here about my worries about the sensory apps from aux forum. I probably also added I just want to use Guinea style as well. I'm not sure that's worked out fantastically well. Positive and negative I choose to bought this is the type of horse that nobody wins the race with. So yeah, I didn't expect in a big drawing from our like you guys at the very least or tell us a bit more exactly where she's at, but yeah, I think she has to be in the equation. I'll finish the head in the back and I do get it on smart search. Operators abroad, great ones, not your most fashionable races, maybe but she's been doing it. She's on a 6 run on B and streak. But worth noting theodos have been the call in recent renewals of this race, 7 or 7 years been won by three year old older horses and not peed of time are one from 22 in the past 8 years. Only enable has broke the seed or struggled on the race. Well, I'll finish the match up. Not sure. But I do also have a superstar. Or wherever you call it before. It was a superstar killer. Killer stuff. You either one will do. Magical lagoon sealed. She actually interests me the most. She impressed missions being stepped up to one mile four trips. One bull starts banging some fairly high cash and speed figures in the process. But why is your character my eye? The record of horses won the Irish oaks and then rocked up in the Yorkshire rocks. Outstanding record. Since 2009, they have a record of first first first second, first, second, second, first, first, first. So 7 winners, three seconds from ten qualifiers. Could make that 11 8 from 11 hopeful. I think she's like a great chance. Phenomenal record of either shorts when I was then winning New York she looks. Again, well, Mark said about who she beat an arm up, but I think she's a bundle for going up to this trip. And I said, killers start superstar. 7 from ten, three seconds. I would nearly play the reverse forecast. Tuesday, magic lagoon, given the record of the classic courses, because I suspect the petite coco is going to be supported in the market and helping east as a short price favors. It's currently 15 days. So if we're getting 41, 72, four to one about Tuesday and magical laguna. Take a swing at the reverse forecast. But I'm pretty confident about Tuesday, but you as the as the cover will play less. Very briefly and then I'll start with you the tempest forwards live on ITV and of course I'm racing TV as well. It's the Henry Cecil gallery listed race golden lyra is currently favorite three to one for William haggas and Thomas. Frankie victory, John and the garden team up with horses by Dubai out of manjarin. You can pronounce that name yourselves. Haskey for Ralph Beckett and Ryan Moore and time lock for Harry roger Charles and William Buick on board, a daughter frankl out of a do Bowie mayor. And named tamla because she's out of time chaser. Any of you on the listed senator Cecil race? It's a bit of a scratchy sort of race to dig into on the trends plus 15 age three or four does not know how many this year. One 15 one one of the last four starts. She wants some recent reform. Too many. Not something that I'm overly enthused about, but on the pace side of things, only one of the last 15 years won by a FrontRunner, hold up horses of one 9 of the I 15. So actually, you want something to be coming from off the pace, I don't have any strong thoughts or by which one I'd be biking, possibly won't be playing too much in a spot. Yeah, you want to hold up horse seems to be the call

"Just. She just doesn't do it for me if that kind of makes sense. I think she solid isn't she? But she doesn't have any of that sort of wow factor for me. That was exactly the place I was going to use. She's one full group ones in a row and it's had to knock a Philly, isn't it? That's one four group ones in a row, but she's been exceedingly well placed to win those four group ones. I think she can't talk about her tassel. Last August, she's then beaten in cologne and Munich and Miriam and mendecino and they're hardly names that trip off the turn out and last time out at St. Cloud. She beat baratti in a race where several of the leading players underperformed to definition bombed out hurricane lane. Yeah, she can win, but she's not for me as favorite. Now, my way into this race was to look at magical lagoons beating of toy last time. She beat toy by half a lens, didn't she? In the Irish oaks. Now, my feeling is and I'm sure you can tell me if I'm on the right road here or not Emmett. But my feeling is that at bally Doyle, they wouldn't have toy in anywhere near the same bracket as Tuesday. No. Magical lagoon only beat about half a Lin. Were you an I got away to a murder because we both put up Choi for the Irish oaks as a scumbag each way better 25s. When Ryan Moore was declared, but the bookmakers never reacted. Everybody seemed to think that she was going to be on board history or Emily Dickinson. And then there was the farcical situation where the flight was canceled and Emily Upjohn couldn't go. So there was an odds on favors, and she suddenly gets sliced, but we had gotten the 25s. In an anti post, which was given to us, and we kind of got away with murder that day. That was an account closer. Thankfully nothing kaluki, but from certain other firms who weren't exactly pleased with this. And she's gone after 5 to one shot. But if Tuesday was in that race, Tuesday would have given her a proper run until it wouldn't be in her league. Until he has subsequently been beaten in Germany. Yeah, and I think Tuesday would have won the Irish oaks, to be honest. I don't think she was at her best when she took on west over in the Irish Derby. Now, the form of the epsom oaks has taken a few knocks, but you can't argue with what Nash was done subsequently. Now Emily at John has herself has been a little bit disappointing. I still think she's a very good friendly I think she'll prove that in time. Tuesday is an oaks winner and I'd rather have a classic winner coming into this. The group won the Yorkshire oaks than alpinista who's been beating up essentially group two our group three horses in substandard group on races. Yeah, I would a 100% agree with that. I know Rory was a big fan of Al than Easter and put her up on the show many times. He was frustrated when she was pulled out a certain races. There were opportunities. Was she going to go for the coronation last year? And he took her out. I think she was. When Paul driver won, I think that Rory was up to his conquerors under that day. It was a bit annoyed that she came out. He identified a very early on and clearly she is talented. I've had this race in mind for Tuesday for a very long time. I think since she was beaten in the Irish Derby, it's been in my mind that this is the way I still go for. And here we are. I can't quite get away from her. She was given the fact that she wasn't actually officially yes, but she didn't turn three until the oaks, yet she was good enough to place in the 1000 guineas and the Irish 1000 guineas, and then on her birthday windy oaks. And the fact that they supplemented her for the Derby, in what was, in hindsight, a bizarrely run race. Where she just seemed to be very flat westover had complete control of the race. She was out at the back, and when Ryan it really aim at and she didn't pick up. Edinburgh's table was flying. She said 54 days to recover. I think she's a big big player here. She's a huge player. I would tend to believe what I saw at epsom more than what I saw at the car. I think that was a ridiculous Irish Derby. And I think she's going to win. Yeah, I'm done with the completely. And unlike the great voltage, this is a race that age and O'Brien does win and he tends to bring some of his very best Phillies to it. And I would go as far as happy very disappointed to be honest if Tuesday can't be helping us. Yeah. Memories of Tapestry pulling off that massive upset against to grew to back in 2014, but 7th heaven on this race love snowfall. Yeah, he's best. Peeping phone, of course, was a terrific one this way. Alexandrova, his best tend to come here, and I think she is very much the best. There's an argument to be said, she's the best with the exception of Luxembourg. The best three year old middle distance horse at bally Doyle. I think Luxembourg, we didn't do a review. We'll do that with Washington next week. We'll factor in the royal whip, but I actually thought that was a nice comeback. Especially when a brine was warning everybody, he needs this. He badly needs it, and he's going to improve an awful lot from us.

"It's a race that Aiden has won in the past. And he said ten winners in the last in the last two weeks. The horses are running very, very well. It was a monster gamble on concert hall today. In the NASA, I couldn't quite get my head around that. And I'm not trying to be funny or after time there. I couldn't figure out why she was being so well supported. Because there was nothing in her form to suggest that she could suddenly turn the form around with Nashua. Also, the oaks form is absolutely rubbish. So that wasn't there. I like concerts. I couldn't quite get my head around that. And I get why she's fighting too but still also. She's good. Should we be paying more attention to forbearance? Because she did beat Silla rossell last season. Yeah, she did. My issue with her. She's just not at the same the same man this year. Actually, she's putting three very flat runs for me. If she comes back to last season's form, yes, she's right there, but you know, she showed a little bit more last time at leopard style, didn't she I just can't be having her on what she's shown this year. That's my concern with her. I tell you what might be a giveaway here too, is that Shane foley is going to write it Galway. And there is no race at Galway worth 300 grand. So if forbearance had this monstrous chance then change fully would be on board. Shortly. Now Holly Doyle was on board. When she won at York last year, as a 12 to one shot. So Holly knows the horse very well. And maybe it's that maybe Jessica just wants Shane to be a Galway and ride horses in a maiden and a couple of horses there. Perhaps if you want to go on back forbearance, I'm not going to stop you. Jessica, we talked about Jessica Harrington's record of bringing horses over to the UK. In the past, when she brings one over, they tend to do very well. It's the dead 8, as things stand, so you're getting, I think you're actually getting three places, I think there's a couple of firms who are going for. You lunatics. Absolutely love that. And if you can get that, if you can get the scumbag each way that then forbearance is probably the bet. That's such a big price. She was very good at living for you last year. Really good at haydock and that run at 8 last time out behind free wind. I would agree with that. I'm very excited to see if we went in the I hope she's going to go for the Yorkshire oaks. Yeah, she's in that. So let's find out what goes on there. This brings us to the stewards cup. Let's go. Shout out to Lucy Russell Hughes. Who runs the draw for Doris Goodwood and the stewards cup and she does her best Rachel Riley impersonation and she puts the numbers up, but she sets all of that up, gets the logistics going, so well done, Lucy, and Lucy's back on the final front podcast and if not next week, the week after. Inver park was the anti post favorite and gets stalled 15 and remains anti post favorite with colloquial 8 to one. There is no change in his price with that draw. However, mister wagoo from stole 20 goes from 9 to 8, when the deal is done, stole 25 with Neil Callen, who's on the show next week, goes from tens into 8, stole 25 for him. First folio, James Ferguson, stole number four with first time cheek pieces, then he muscular on board is a ten to one shot and great ambassador safi Osborne, Ed walker, ten to one from eleven's stall 12, chill chill, Harry Davis for his trainer, his retained trainer, Andrew bolding, 16s into 12s from stall 11. How important a factor is the draw on the stuarts cup to you, Mark Milligan before you give us your selection for an easy contest this short scope.

"Two year old isn't it? The park hill was so impressive. And in terms of time form ratings, her performance there would have been entitled to a finished certainly in the top two or three in the ledger itself, because the park is known as the Philly sent ledger, isn't it? But I think the way it should have got off the cult she'd have been more than able to hold her own in the same ledger itself. She was so progressive. The nagging doubt, obviously, is we haven't seen her for a while, so presumably she's maybe had one or two new goals. She's maybe taken a little while to come to hand. Her main threat in here a shada is already up and running. We last saw her 49 days ago. I was a little bit disappointed to be honest and she was being 7 months. You know, I thought it was just, I was just expecting more from her. I just think free wind has the potential to be a group one filling this season. I think you're looking at you're probably looking something like the archer oaks. I say next month, we're not quite into July. We will be a few hours. Yeah, in a matter of hours. I think if she wins this, I think it's all systems go for the Yorkshire oaks. Which would bring about a clash with Tuesday, I believe. We'll see. Maybe Tuesday is going to go for the Irish jokes. Was that confirmed today? I'm now getting confused. We actually had an important call today. But she may very well be going there to the Irish oaks, but she would definitely be taken into the orchards as well, which was lay on a terrific one. Her idea, speaking of top class, her idea is a short price favorite with kaluki, the current market Caesar 11 to 8, and then the grand dam who I think was Frankie. In that she was given a bad ride in York. And if you ever see a bad ride, we're just going to call just say your horse got Frankie because I believe that's what John garstin is saying. I don't believe that at all. I've never heard that. But let's make that a thing, why don't we? Oh, she got an awful ride at York possessed way too much. And was then pitched into group one company at royal ascot and the coronation and she ran all rice. She's second last beaten, ten lengths, but she ran well for a long way in that race. And this is much more of her cup of tea. And I think she'll take the world of eating here. Ryan Moore on board. Do you think though that the favorite is going to slap me right in the face? Or are you looking elsewhere, my man? Yeah,.

"It was a funny race tactically in that those who were up at the pace, they are the ones who have ended up finish fighting out the finish, and those who were trying to come from off it couldn't do it. Tuesday was a good bit back and maybe run more didn't expect the race to play out in the way that it was a funny run race. It was interesting to hear these comments that perhaps he gave Ryan a little bit of the wrong information. I read somewhere that interview he said that perhaps they got it wrong. Which is from Ryan's point of view and everyone else says it's nice when they're trainers kind of on your side and it doesn't really matter who wants to blame and then perhaps she's at a few high racism perhaps she wasn't at her best. But it's refreshing to hear those condoms from very much so. It also just goes to emphasize while Aidan O'Brien will heap praise on everybody else's yard when he wins. And sometimes that irks people because and I don't understand why, by the way, I don't understand why you have a problem with the best trainer in the world. Wanting to compliment his staff at home. But which is good to know, but it further emphasizes the fact that anytime something goes wrong, Aiden takes the blame. 9 more often than not, I can't really remember maybe the Spencer year where he would have a go at the jockey. He just doesn't do that, whereas in stark contrast to what's happening on the other side of the Irish sea right now. But that Bond, those two have is very strong. And it is great that the Leighton was he was the one laying down on the wire to let Ryan Moore walk over it. And it's intriguing with her because there's a subplot here in that she gets supplemented for the race. And as you know, Austin having written for Aiden and no doubt you'll do so for many more years. And cool more ethos is all about stallions to the future. The R star is a stallion making race. But changing the guard was rushed to royal ascot to make it there. He could have run in this race. They chose to go for the king of the 7th instead. They didn't run Stone Age. It seems now that tenfold long is very much going to be his maximum distance from now on unless something changes with the physically over the next few season I imagine he'll stay in training next year. They don't really seem to have a massive amount of strength in depth in the middle distance department. No, but you go to stages of that, you know, like the pedigrees are there and a lot of those verses are related to champions, and I'm afraid it can just be like that. It seems strong in the two year old division and this looks like the scare that everyone's going to be looking forward to watching running over the next royal yeah, looking at the king George picture. You're trying to see what they might run and just further on races that we're used to seeing them really having strong chances in, but that will change. It'll change again. I would imagine a little bit of a break now for Tuesday and possibly back for the Yorkshire oaks, maybe they'll rusher today. That would make sense. Yeah. Which, by the way, if she wins that, she's back in contention for the arc again. So she'll be hard. She'll be hard to beat there. But west over very, very exciting. Ultimately, though, you would go saint legend with him. I think so, yeah. I mean, Rachel's where there's a traditionalist and I think the judgment team, you know, there's no doubt that why can't it when a ledger and then come back and train the horse at four and win the quarter group owner when a couple of them went and they're not they're not under severe pressure. They have some superstars. They've got his sire frankl and they've got kingman and they have paid the bread. He was doing okay as well at the moment. They are not struggling for horses and Franklin and kingman and that also I don't think they'll be panicking. I don't think there will either. A good day all around for the team. We'll move to the future based on the Sunday at the Cora, which was the pretty poly. Group one. And the petite coco drifted out to nine's patty Timmy was very confident that she'd win and that's exactly what she's done beats William hagers, my Astra. There is controversy though in the rosca barri ends up getting disqualified. We'll chat about that in a second, but the petite coco daughter of ruler of the world, she was terrific here, I thought. Yeah, so Ruger the world was probably the first proper horse I ever wrote work. And that was thanks to Aidan, you allowed me to go from on soft ground under grass one day and he went miles clear of the group. And so I had no idea really what I was sat on, but I knew it was fast and yeah, this really has been expertly campaigned. Can I ask you just before you go on to talk about the petite go go just to get an insight into the salient? Was this before he raced? Yeah, yeah, he had an injury too. Towards the back end of the season, he got going again and yeah, he felt like an absolute machine, but I was 15 or 16 years old. I didn't really know. Not about superstar horses, but I wanted to learn about him. Yeah, and of course he would end up being the Derby winner, and when the archives were so he was a class act any day for a horse who didn't race very often. So talk to me then about le petit coco. She's taking her sires, a lot of her SARS class. Yeah. I think she's been incredibly handled, you know? She's won four out of 5 stats for party to me. I don't know if it's four or 5 or 5 out of 6, but she's only been beaten once. She's literally improved whatever character Billie gave her a lovely positive ride. I remember watching her beat love last year on the God love might be out her best, but you know they chose a good spot there for her. They're making her a very valuable silly, yeah, I mean, I don't know how to determine it, but he operates on an incredibly high strike rate. I know where his stabilize and I admire him. He's doing amazing stuff really. Yeah, he's just he's not far from Blake and temporary. I think Blake could see his his horse is working from Blake manor. And so we talked about him, we talked about him probably 5 years ago. We were just very excited by this trainer coming through. And obviously, it's still very early days in his career. But God, he attracts the big owners. He does remarkably well with the team he has. And he's terrific at placing them as well. Yeah, yeah. I don't know much about his operation. I know it's in golden and county temporary. So they see between aid no brilliant and tummy stacks. But closer to Tony Stark or fuzzy stacks..

But frankie riding winners four john gosden at the insistence that john gosden say will frankie's my jockey so he's writing not stash and I think that's what got him back in favour. But it is very clearly as i eat thing and i i don't think they ever fell out and So i said to today with those. That frank is the best jockey in the world. But i i think he's particularly good in in these big occasions just Who was it who said that. So when he goes ask it for example he'd really genuinely believes that everybody all sixty thousand people they have to see him at. It's no bad thing I think probably fifty five sub. Yeah and these racing ascot an long shown is they ask it of disney and a big occasion. He's he's a great writer on the big stage and he will enhance the chances of real well too although it has to be said that market has running in. This season is a very talented young jockey but i can kind of done. This is no reflection on markowitz. All he said he's extremely good writer. Now and it will be even better in the future and but franken tori at long. Yup you gotta say is the real what has not enhanced. His chances is the rain. I think he's he's good false. Grant and i think the revenue absolutely wallows in the mud and go talk last form and therefore i think we've got a very good favourite here in the reverence and i expected to. Oh okay so he be doing the hatrick then. The revenue this for the third year in a row so perhaps he will Century dream in there as well Our old friend. Victor latorre back once again only only linked a half off by last time. So maybe but i think i need to jump off that train before i get seriously seriously financially art What is your best bet of the weekend sir. Oh i'm going to die alone quick hand when you've got a the pre-departure trail it would be a an error of judgement to pick anything in any other racist rather hoping that you'll get a go for the same race. Day are for me to add the arc to the king george and the dhabi three zero five at lunch or otherwise known as the glitzy pre lot to trump. Well given the fact that you've done that. I feel compelled to orleans choice other than to declare war. Tell you that it's going to be snow everywhere. It's going to be snow all over the place. You didn't get it did you you. There's no way you got that. There's no way got it. What what did i miss. Can't believe it like do is. He's an informer snow playing this out as snowfall. Who comes in you know when she won the The the yorkshire oaks and at your. They play a piece of an appropriate piece of music when the wind comes in to the winners enclosure there and when snowfall one we rule expecting. I dunno white christmas. A frosty the snowman weird in the middle of august. But that's what we're expecting. In fact they played another completely different song. And we're still trying to work out what it was well. If it's not listen york not me. How could you not play this. It's just so simple. I'm pretty certain that each morning. She's doing her workouts. They've got the airport maxine. What a bangor. Banger snowfall wins. That is the theme that needs to be played as she just comes. "Your winnings with to- plus and listen to what andrew white is saying because he's agreeing with me so we're said for so much gravy this weekend it's going to be amazing. can't wait to recount all this lucy and yourself a monday and talk about the just just like the throwing cash all around the studio or be talking to both of you while i'm scrambling around trying to find some coins as as tesco noodles for the rest of the month We'll have to wait and see. But i'm i'm getting super excited for the weekend. Sunday is obviously going to be a massive day and alpin easter for sir mark prescott is going to take the engagement in the qatar pre groupon. Which of course is a arc trial and a very well. Trial and snowfall will be taking up the engagement as well. So she was always held in very high regard as juvenile. She was highly tried and this season she has won the door by three and a half lengths. She has created history by winning the oaks by the largest winning margin ever She's won the irish jokes by the largest winning margin for a hundred years and she just toyed with a rivals at york. It was again. That was a racist covering talksport to she was just an absolute joy to watch that day. This race are you surprised. The running her and do you feel that. This is just a case of letter. Get a feel of of power longchamp. Frankie's back on board. Let feel of party longchamp while it's like to be there with the racing style is like because the closer we get to the race. She is very clearly cool. Moore's number one. Yeah you'd think she is. Online chiefs obviously got a great chance to thank the majority of the reason. Is you say to girona in this. Race is just to get a blow over in france To get a feel for the track and make sure that the she's ready to go when it comes to tell him. And i i don't see i don't see are getting beaten this weekend. Not the only thing. I do see some have despised Beijing no there are contenders yo somehow be shortened in raleigh Certain but that's just the way bookmakers role. These days can be certain that enough. She's just on prepared to be proven wrong here. she's just not a horse As you know clung heartstrings much this year how dare you. Yeah i know. And it's just one of the i don't know what it is There's just a part of me and people can shoot me down sam wrong inferno but just a part of me. That can't get over. The fact that i feel the rest of the mile for you know group one. Three year old fillies. This year are abaga shish and well they are like i. Just don't see the horses. She bees in the oaks and the irish jokes. Arnaz any us. So it's not really something to be n. dolphin when they are jokes. Two two seven eight nine lands in a race. Where i think i could have given some of them a chance for some of the place money so it's not something i'd i'd potentially bear in mind charmaine. Justin jar at york was wonderful tonight. It wasn't ruining on grain. She delights at all so again. You're back to just beijing album floor and khandan dunstall fantastic. I actually to that free. Because i interviewed david minutiae for talks to My role switched was hosting that week. i host the whole week of york and i spoke with david minutiae live on air and i was saying. Are you gonna run wonderful tonight. And he said well. We have two options. We can go to france we can. Go to deauville or we can run here at york. And william is gonna ride into three o'clock and he'll decide he'll tell us I don't like the idea of going. to deauville. he thought that the ground wasn't right for there and said i may live to regret this but the horse that runs in this race is not the worst that you'll see in the arc that was that was line And she was disappointing and she got thumped in the end And she would really need to pull something out. Be able to go and and turn the form around with with snowfall boss. She is the the anti post favourite For the arc. And it's interesting that you even worded that way. That she's essentially piecing choice she. She was in all intents and purposes. She has been on. I suppose more. So what would probably rested on on me is Maybe it has been slightly different rationale because of being a few niggles still fled that bush. This time last year having won leo Jokes and yorkshire oaks so impressively. Nobody thought love could be beaten. Yeah and i know. You know as i say i completely comprehend that the injuries has been a few things that haven't gone particularly roy's but she's komo's against proper group won't horses this year under this being short of the mark and i just don't know whether we're gonna get to the ark and she's going to be a very short price if she goes wins on the weekend which he will she could end up on the day. Five four six two four. That's an it's the for. it'll be january. The first time like if she faces a day are torna w-we hurricane lane. You know any of these horses that are genuine group on horses. Because to be honest leg you could send off divinely to start running in the are tomorrow morning. And she may scrape poem things. She's.

"Know he wasn't really asking a forever thing and she was a waste holding them so she's obviously by far the best for europhilia around but we have yet to learn much more about because she hasn't run against the colts as she and jasim well that she has run against the oda. He's now about thinks she's run against top top class outta who sees okay. Wonderful tonight is a very very small mayor on a day but she really wants soft ground. I think it was too quick for her. Who was a strange since around to be honest wonderful tonight. Because they've been asia being guy on the season about the fact that they must have soft ground than suddenly decides. It's out in the yorkshire oaks on quicker. And i think the rest of them were that good. I mean sharda who jim. Carney was quite positive about and seemed to really really like she definitely didn't run a because she was told off so now i think we did learn anything about so. Don't you question. medi k. Ground us both quick. Aco or at times man. I from what i could gather. It was a good time. Which i guess would sort of shush doubted. Somewhat angry was good times at your last week. The crime was basically quick So expect some good times. We got a relatively well run race here and the horses that et cetera album floated that finished second came through dot came from the back a little bit like arising horse last year. Finishing to love alpina stephanie. Saying the not race. Kim basically was written to get second and debt. The form doesn't look any stronger than that. Even the wonderful tonight was in here and we did. Nothing of that. Standard was an lawsuit against love. Tens of what. We're learning about snowfall. You're good which are just a way of evidence knowns building up you you get one slightly lucan law mid one twenties performance you can maybe start to brush off but once you've done it three times it becomes a lot harder do that and under the videon conditions that she's done under two so i think you're gonna take level is a sweeter as as pretty legit as well. I keep saying that. The hawks was with flattening and as it doesn't matter because she's done a here under the code is well. I'm not sure she does. Not the arc. I'm she has still go if we think ideas is good as as ratings are telling us in hurricane lane as well to an extent there arguably strong position than anything enable had to be and snowfall of a slave is is going to be compared to the needle in always So yet so. I'm not sure that having a short she is. I think she's at a little bit on style the substances just building up by increments boss still stomach which is better than a amid one twenty easily and you need to be at least out of it or not and you're settling on a level of which i back a three at night and a four foot or knock wood you back. I'll give you base an imaginary tenor. He would you put it on you. I will. I've already done anti-bush price on the arkansas panicking lane at. I think he might given knocking. George given us a race mile force or Emphasis on quickening up thinking about horse and they are still. I think he's quicker horse. I like an awful awful. So we add practical for hurricane lane. Okay and wrote. I would probably stick with that. I think that he's just about the most impressive dhabi when we've in in recent years and i like the way that he stays and sees these races some long show really do need to stay 'cause usually the grounds fairly testing and i think that mike sue at air will get the free road allowances well. I can't brilliant. Now give them. We have some real analytical brains on this week's podcast. I think one of the races that we really should be digging into is the weatherbys hamilton. Lonsdale cup echo. Strawberries narrowly beating spanish mission by ahead. attacks just the full runners in stratovarius getting on top very much close name that was ding dong battles throughout the final furlong. We now accepting. Strawberries is no operating at a level. Ones also do you think he didn't face his ideal conditions here case 'cause po keighley's insisted that this was once off ground despite connection saying that it's not what he's after wards as well words danger anyway because something told me to give a long time ago said gaston horses you know the once a very. I think keells there to be quite honest. I suspect cues seeing that with clinton his little bit. I think started. This is perfectly adapt on soft kind federal connections. Tell you not suspended about muchly wanting it. But i don't think i think grown comes to stradivarius and certainly in terms of the handsome is handsome. Does approach you know. People will tell you he definitely doesn't suit soft grind. But i'm telling you what you can do. And i'm telling you that he can run as well and software. I'm telling you the best of his career came on soft grunt so is absolutely fine on those conditions. There whether he's as good this year i think he's a little bit of both in this regard. This as an witty was last year. It was better than this last year. Being spanish mission. Who has improved this year for me by a collarbone grimberg. He's only been with hundred holding a year or on a little more than not. And i think he's a horse. No strata videos. Frankie would try to win. His lillies he could. I think if you watch him is desperate not to reach the whip. How stone and teams. I think he's one that this is tactical strategy is wins and luckily to steer so he gets in a lotta tactical races. So i it's hard for me to see exactly. He isn't woman. I think you're you'd be right. And on a percentage sites on the percentage call. If you said he's not quite what you was. That still might be good enough because it has no evidence of any other stairs into division the are better the not lou twenties level that he is probably still capable love. The true sean. Almost certainly capable of and i don't think there's anything else really that is definitely a one twenty st at unless decide to send wonderful tonight did not ruin. Obviously they're going for the arc instead so he might yet still. Sounds like you're quite interested. In that as an experiment she stays a mile sex. Well she probably isn't good enough to win an arc and she likes soft crime that a lot of these goodstein roses are not on soft right at the end of the year. I'd be into it. I'm not look upon her now. So i'm only interested once. Malaysia says he's going to do that. And i'm not here advise anybody but if she turned up in the long distance cop i'd be backing. I think i think she's got coffee like that..

"She's on it well within herself on given that what we've seen over the season that she finds tons for pressure you get the impression of hot there being stronger. Challenge to her She more on some strongly feel that more than she had. So you gotta like that The fact that she keeps doing it nice was able to keep winning by wide margins against against own sex means you want to see a race against the boys a against the older horses. She will be doing shortly But everything she's done. This season has been has been really impressive. I was one of those people who thought about been flattered by winning music. Dora because the pair the big price on the day sixteen on the front two in the market who both had big reputations. They lost their either beforehand. Or in the first couple of furlongs by not settling thought well ryan more being ready professional on writing his philly to expose the weakness the rivals We didn't really look hard enough of their performance and ask what more she could have done what she showed that at epsom. I'm by by bolting up. And she is. She is something special. There's there's no to my thoughts all and it gets a bit silly me and trying to pick holes and finished like her. When she's i think her her Aggregate winning distance season stomachs thirty two and a quarter lengths. You just don't eat on horses and she continues yeah. Potential alleged obviously put the thing about snowfall. The we keep coming back to this is we've been on the right side of her on the on the final furlong in that and it all comes back to a key interview with lee his. Love that roy moore gave where she said. Why is it important that you make the running with this source and brian went into detail about how no we always thought an awful lot of her. Last year we tried to at the highest level. But the juvenile's weren't rice and you'll remember applying namedrop again edna brian on the show again soon He was on the show several times last year and he emphasized just how sick his juvenile were on. The lot of them weren't giving the running any blamed himself that he was getting horses. Ready for roy ascott and in doing so because of the rona and Not entirely knowing if scott was going to while they were saying. We're holding my telephone. We're going to keep our position. We're not changing our shed. You in ireland. They only had a week to get the worst is ready and qualify and so he was reading his juvenile's because roy ascott so important to them and she was one of those sources who was being revved up to to go there Despite the fact that she she ultimately didn't like the neela juveniles on march bolger out not potter is always jim. Fox symbol jury own fool in But what. I what i thought was fascinating about. It was was ryan talking about. Just how highly. He regarded the horse. And that you can hold her up you can ride him. In mid division you can make the running. And it was again lydia. His love asking all of the right questions and frankie's view on the we we put her up for the oaks Was he could have won by further if he wanted. She's then has the biggest winning margin in the irish oaks one hundred years. And now she's coming on the yorkshire oaks so her price currently for the arc is nine to four. She's the shortest twos. It wouldn't be the fun before long and me without me quoting the shortest price story just to annoy With the derby winner at ninety two tell price but that's only available one firm generally. He's seventy two different worlds. Really turn turn chinawas tarnaud off. I get that right sixes and then probably a non-runner hurricane aids because he's going saint leger wonderful tonight may very well get his grinded and saint mark's basilica you think can't win i disagree but we'll see is is ten to one. So it's shaping up to be a fantastic race but you look at the head of that market and it's dominated by the oaks winner and the derby winner and that to me is fantastic is that you've got that classic form towards the top of the market and they are is is already He's confirmed that he is capable of beating the older horses and beating them very very well in the king george And it would be some performance if he can win a darby king george and arkan in the same season but think snowfall is the one they will have to try. And stop and We have a chronic genesis coming over from japan Who's bhai bego new yorker stallion Yuccas family by the way have been banging in the winners over the last few days. And he's one. He's most recent trial back in june. So we'll Plans for him. I believe are to come over Eight brian was saying that she's been putting on waste that she'll be absolutely perfect for the autumn. And that the lads will decide whether or not. She goes for our trials day but he'd be more than happy to just take straight there. That's actually i think the most interesting point you make is it's comment about her putting on wins and that's that's something that you don't hear that very often from trainers i remember them saying about keeping full on her season. It's a sign that this riding physically. You expect. Some seen it with was plenty of top class horses before they will come for them. This season targets clearly. Light up light the showing signs of a hard season You know the doing well on and a lot of forces. Take a lotta idlib. Cells in racist appeared win very easily but the lose condition afterwards Despite the fact that she's she's run away with with the oaks and the irish oaks. She's actually been getting bigger and stronger in doing that. So she's almost she almost progressing and we were talking about with rage and high. The you know in order to to To keep the same level. You've got to be improving physically on those who are very young. Precocious tend to get gradually caught up by the others. I'm as they develop. She's also developing at the time so she's getting better and better. It would appear as i said. The performance is on the restaurant Don't show the show that she's she's hitting a very high level similar level under last three starts but of course in new horse has to win by twenty lengths and she almost has to win by half the track just to show that she's better than she was a month ago and she doesn't have the opposition to that tour so the five that she's putting on wit She's she's during. This was a pretty tough schedule Shows is that she is thriving physically a really positive thing going forward his actual quote. Was she quickens very well. She's gone really laid back now she's thriving and is starting to put on ways and she is going to be ready for the autumn. I cannot wait for prolonged shown. Nine two four two two one five to two the best price you can get a better idea for the old rivals godolphin at force. What a matchup. Cool more viga godolphin and possibly japanese interest with Krona genus as well and of course another while fox endowment weld or the cup winner we will discuss the coolmore Wooden bassett a new dish into the team. New addition Purchase them last year and So far things have been going particularly. Well i believe in terms of the the bookings for him so we'll we'll chat about him in a second Before that though Tote had an unbelievable. And i mean i if you were backing with tote well done. You've done extremely well because the whirlpool which was flashing across the screen on racing. Tv who are broadcast port partners on talksport said the whirlpool ticker was coming along over. Three.

"We'll move onto the darlie. Yorkshire oaks we also nice to see cool moore tweeting. I think it was tom magner. Twitting thanks to charity for the support of the darlie yorkshire oaks and how excited he is about sex and more nice little plug for coolmore himself there as well but snowfall wins by four lengths. Essentially ease down so covering this race. Live was bizarre because of his covering this with lucy on talksport to someone holds was on with me on wednesday and again on friday. Lucy happened to be on thursday and she'd been there the day before and it was nice to hear someone talk about the crowd being there and and how the crowd welcomed mishrif back in the reception. That's no fault was absolutely epic. But she's essentially second last as they round the final bend and it was like ryan just put her in sport moment all right go. And it's over in the blink of an eye. Now we can you. And i talked off air. But what the hell was david. Minutia doing running wonderful tight. I spoke with them. I interviewed him for tokes ward and he said i might live to regret this but i have to run her. I don't feel deauville work. So we're going here and it will bring her on an every race. She's having is a stepping stone to the arc so but again he said i might live to regret this She was disappointing. But you can't take away from you. Only look at what snowfall has done and the way she made up the ground the way she traveled. She was costs quickly. Not quick enough by one firm. Thanks for the fours buddy to nine to four for the arc performance. And what do you make going forward under the beaten young to old there are reasons. There are reasons why you know she. You wouldn't necessarily be terrified of taking her on there but You know she's got the she's got exactly right kind of profile as long as it can keep her keeper around fresh enough For rum for long shown than you know. She's as a three year old filly his him progressing all the time She has to say progressing all the time. You could argue. That was her best performance. If you give her credit for the margin of victory but The question was always county. Repeat that I mentioned again in the irish oaks to massive performances. She's find to bind some which is on the same thing again. Here you know. Should this by four lengths of asked It was a funny race in that the the wasn't any opposition in reality I came on stock will look through the field going Dot com well that kind runwell that conwell and looking at the entry of the. I think the nine who were entered originally thought well mostly wrong is going to be. It's going to be very fast growing so our flora. That's wonderful tonight sons You know might not want in there and i thought alpinist it would run As was terrific value. Three places for rest it was gonna have five Liquid ended up ended up with that with seven declared and seven running On on some you know wonderful tonight was nowhere. Near best on the grinding on david minutiae was was very straightforward about it afterwards. He you know he said you know she. She run the risk because she needed. She needs a rum On a new that she might not be our best butts you know. He was prepared to accept defeats knowing that in the long run they was getting to where he wanted her to go So we hope that she would run better than she dates. But he's has william puuikena if she if she hits it. Don't be hard on console by bringing forward disappointing from her. Giving sort of moved into contention on you can logical went pretty hard in front wander under holy oil and she held on for third at one hundred fifty to one. I did actually go under the day. You're telling me that. I was just two hundred and seventy on bedford. I thought well. She'll trade short and that she's not feeling gones but she wasn't good enough to win this. But of course you treated a little bit shorter and the run so honest you get a free a free five or out of it for fun album flow around really. Well we second. She's she's frustrated me this season. Because i really affiliate in this rather proves it That she stopped the rest of them She suited by she sued by by Being able to come with with a long sweeping run She showed that on her. Tation can be really good. I should not been sued by a couple of small field farris on the small fishes answered by small field race at epsom where the track didn't particularly seizure and then she was kind of. She was just caught up in traffic. And the heartbreaking couldn't really get loose She might better. She was written off the pace and towards the side of the day. A bit disappointing. A good When she you know she was chest wonderful tonight through various and then she just she Issue around a fair enough risk should put in her place by wonderful tonight and she showed here that you know she could have done better Maybe she doesn't want to hold deep. She just wants good to soft. Brian's album flora. She's already to ask is asked. Soft grinds sometimes can be a little bit of a head scratcher. So we'll see what she goes. She doesn't really wanted this quick. She run well enough socialist. She handles it On she'll she could pick up a decent prize come the endless as them. Aside from not you know the money shehata was a five to one shot for this risk that the day before or or run on the on the monday when they betting on post on that shot it was five to one. She had virtually no chance. Ribblesdale was terrible racist season where she was second to loving dream Loving dream has has Has confirmed form And as china she was just short because she only hides three ron's on maybe there was improved dinner. But as i said it was deal was was a really per consolation for the for the oaks this year. I'm so i said wasn't much depth than the rest but snowfall has again. She's running against the clock to a large degree And she's done it..

"The official told ap rough journey. Were alpin. sta who roy argue has been raving of this lands. Her first group one. This was the plan. Says sir mark prescott. I'm sure with the cuban cigar in one hand and a glass of brandy and the other. I think he's author cigars on he doesn't drink brandy well. You can do it for so thanks for crushing that image expert just crushing that image entirely gone dave decided to go to germany and they picked up. Eighty nine thousand and crucially. They've picked up a group by the way a new. Brian said that snowfall is working. Impressively ahead of york as her countdown to the continues so anyway back to thanks to another winner for frenkel. Frankel is crushing in the stellian. Rankings this season. But what you make this. We've got walton street in there to try and give us some kind of level of an idea of the form listening. Drum group ones are strong A comparatively speaking on the are there for the taking with horses huang to perform interestingly out-pizzas at grantham was aldo nova He was an upset smashing mayor. won't brad again by kirsten rising trend by some mark. Prescott should all her winning in germany. One she wants three Gray ones in germany was also second In the price on europa oil wishy one before. so i'm interestingly She'd won the pinnacle stakes before going on to watch a groupon success in germany and openness. A would've won the pinnacle stakes which was taken on the morning of the rhys But she won't be Lancashire roofs and steph was up to remember preview by nashashibi. Alds on four for but this was a step forward in for trump. She's improves to the season. Just typical typical family typically Stein as well she was very promising was second to love. I was some of winning a listed race Appear on a very good second to the ocean last year. She's progressing a big chunk this time around two and a half lengths. You end up winning some surprise for berlin luke. Morris didn't spare it has to be know. That's just look more. Luke morris gonna look morris but she won. She wanted to style and she found plenty for pressure on itemization. She will be bound for the ride. Interestingly there's a surprise well it's it's it is a splendid interesting is it is a bit of a surprise because look pretty much voids. uk bonds Seems to be understanding that although his his action looks quite extreme. I'm i'm guessing it's been it's been proven that apps is kind of a two part with action which means a low heath his. His aunt was above shoulder height. Eight doesn't bring whip straight down from there but it's still. It's still not particularly pretty to watch. It does look as though he's hailing a cab elsewhere its bounds for it so it does look as always hailing a cab but it appears as though there's an understanding between the british shorts ceiling einstein speed up the both the boss has given him. The seal of approval has yeah. He hasn't indeed and he was celebrating the fiftieth anniversary of his first winter this year. So he's going to be transferring. His license to william butler the at the end of the season this country that oh wait just he's just keeping the butler. Boy stringing them along for few shot. that's the way to do it. That's how retirement because he no no. He's he's a nine stays in. Tanzania said this is the first decision is who he can see himself handing over to. So we've basically said he will be handing over. William will get the license but he might have to wait until these. You know another seventeen years. Seventeen years he wouldn't be cutting chicken. Everything's getting at the end of the season where we're an extra needs to. She's in the yorkshire oaks. I don't think they turn right. That quickly The the the champion video mistakes target for her joys the end of the season but she will sue They will be looking for attorneys for germany as well. I don't have german calendar in front of me nor a hand but was the obvious. It makes sense though that that her her grand tom. Despite being trained in newmarket was voted german horse. Lear in mccheese hundred four. So you know will. They will happily He to creatures the compositions on trainers training for fifty years even more so so They will address. You might stand training vanilla season as well. The look at them a grid on prices in germany but always watch once you capture. Group wants group the away. That's that's the key thing in when you have one than is you know you're often looking for the weakest group three or group through. You can guess. But once she wants to make the breakthrough you can only stay about level or step up. So she's one night so it's group wants all the way. Speaking of group owns all the way as we return to home soil. When i say home soil. I mean aren't and If you're in the uk and the vast majority of the listeners are because population is bigger When things are safe come on over come on over the hospitality Particularly in the southeast and The west of ireland is just. Oh it's phenomenal and views down in west cork and killarney The history in kilkenny Why am i doing an advert for the irish tourism board. I don't know become on over On come over to the races. There's a lot to be excited about irish. Mp weekend it's going to be fantastic government. Please do not do anything stupid. the phoenix sprint stakes. Just briefly touch on this. John joe murphy is going to be sending gustavus western. Sounds very german to the haydock sprint cup. Where he will do something that no ours done since one thousand nine hundred seventy to win the race. What's his chances on the basis of this victory in the group. Three rory What is this was a career. Best from him and he some. He's say suddenly improved but he has. He's some run too much higher level last. The last few runs He's ever done before. Which i guess is the definition of a southern improvement. Listening is report as a juvenile But he you know like a lotta A lot of sorts printing juvenile's. He seemed to tread water then for For while after that On some seem to find his level which was basically sort of a listed company. Another ahoy pop up you know he would run these races but he wouldn't say wouldn't spend too much time thinking about him but all of south needs He's looking One of the best friend not less. So that's some that's a three nonsense saw since may He finds plenty for pressure on both occasions Certainly he certainly was. Well positioned the way this risk went but then again you know he's also wanna buy them by decent margin So it can be an advantage to get on the got on the real. The curragh was the previous meeting He's not normally a front runner either but he he got it all running on. He was better. physicians The up for example. But he's well it won't by two and a quarter lengths which i need you and a half in the end an alluded through the rest. You think well he's not. He's not beating absolute superstars and behind their. You know these irish sprinting. Never been Has never really been a thing. We've only had some rip once brinton ireland's for the last three years. Isn't there. well yes. But i have i have to interject and give massive credits eddie. Lynam and for that. Matter to edna brian as well like i know that he's taken a former australian horses and One group owns them in the uk..

"In the windsor castle stakes. He's gone onto saddle eleven winners at that. Prestigious meet in camp and ellie one of the winners that came last year in the gray to queen mary. And what a performance that was wesley ward back again this year with several contenders royal. Ascot getting ready to open on tuesday. There will be four breeders. Cup challenge races winning. You're in events contested over the course of that meet next week and who better to talk about those races and the entire meet them. I good friend. Jim guoxing from the breeders cup. Jimmy welcome my friend mike. Thanks for having me today. Good to be on. Yeah excited to talk about royal ascot. you know. I remember last year when we were in the midst of the pandemic and now we're starting to come out of it. Things are improving. It seems like a different feel this year than it did. Of course last year with the royal ascot races but it's always such a special race. Meet it it's a it's just. It defines world class competition at royal ascot. Interestingly enough similar to dominant stakes day last weekend they'll be about twelve thousand spectators back at the royal ascot for the races. Of course starting on tuesday so hopefully things have written or coming back as they here as they have here in the united states so looking forward to it. This is the fourth year of the breeders cup association of breeders cup challenge winger in races with the ascot authority with royal ascot delighted to be back again. Of course races are televised. Live on nbc. S and Starting on tuesday with first breeders cup winning there in the first race of the royal. Need the queen. Anne stakes for an automatic berth into the fan duel breeders cup mile course on turf. Have you been to royal ascot jimmy. I've had the privilege of being twice To royal ascot two times my es I went in two thousand and four when it was a very different race. Track than it is today And they went back in two thousand and two thousand nineteen i did. I returned to royal ascot where it was the a beautiful course as as it is today beautiful grandstand enclosure area. So it's it's special. Obviously it's different. Here's the racist. Go up very quickly. It was just about a half hour between the races. And there were just six day so It's it it goes is quite or six or seven day it's quite a quite a quite an experience And the the focus on the on the great racing During the afternoons each day of the meeting. Yeah i have never had the privilege to be there at least not to this point anyway and i was going to ask you for those of us like myself. Who haven't been to royal ascot. What is it that makes it so special. Buy thank you just kinda summed. It up you know and the attire that you see from the gentleman from the ladies that attend the races there is is really second to none. We talk about the derby hats and all of that kind of stuff that goes along with the kentucky derby and that's very special in its own right but there's something different about the appearance of royal ascot even when you watch it on television well it definitely i have found to be a very concentrated low Attention to the horses During during the during the period the focuses on on the racehorse there certainly a majesty that surrounds it but the prestige of winning one of these races is spectacular. Obviously the large sizes of some of these fields so these sprints where they break off into two groups eight on one side at twelve on another or or as many as twenty four. Great horses. Going into raises is also terrific. A little kooky in a way when you see them and it's a real challenge for the announcer On the straight events to pick up the fields on both sides but It's it's a real thrill. And i think that It's something that everyone should do at least once. No no question. I would certainly agree with that. We touched on the four breeders cup challenge races. That will be contested next week. Beginning with that queen. Anne stakes on tuesday opening day. What are some of the other. Highlights that folks can look forward to netra from the race standpoint but from the horses and the people that are going to be represented next week. Will mike obviously From a breeders cup respectively may have as many three former or defending champions for anticipating the right away. Order of australia was a huge upset winner. Of last year's fan two mile in the queen. anne is a formidable task and palace pier or John tandy gosden only lost one race in his career to terrific Racehorse palace pierre as mentioned audible stralia for For the coolmore team and when that shouldn't be overlooked is a lobby for an end is from The brian barn and then we have two former champions in the queen. Anne in lord glitters one or two thousand nineteen and accidentally agent in one in two thousand eighteen. So i think You've got really solid racists the very first race during the meeting Think we'd move on. We have a on. Wednesday is when you're in for loaning breeders cup turf in the prince of wales's stakes At a mile and a quarter we have last year's one two finishers in ward north and today ebb from odd the irish where the day of in in that particular race That is going to be a terrific advance along with love from Michael taber derrick smith and john near and this john near love whose unbeaten us a three year old including Winning the thousand guineas the oaks epsom oaks and the yorkshire oaks as well as defending champion in philly their turf and that would be dara So that that's a terrific racing. Its own right then. We change On thursday over to the two year olds and you mentioned was reward was so spectacular success at royal ascot in the norfolk stakes. Social words the field obviously not been quite yet many runners in there. He's going to have a a to maiden winners in lucci Who wanted gaumont On on these may nine. He went back in april. I'm not gonna tony one at qinglin. That's another runner that he has those or two The two possibilities for him in there. And then. If i can just go right on into saturday you have the diamond jubilee at turf sprint. And we have glass slippers in that race on the closing day..
