Nvidia Could Lose $400M Over China Chip Ban

"These market challenges that we're facing right now. I just want to point out that Nvidia, which is a major chip company, came out yesterday afternoon after the closing balance said, we're not going to make as much money. They actually filed a note with the SEC saying they anticipated $400 million less in terms of their revenue because they're no longer going to be able to sell chips to China. I'm going to quote from what they said here. It was a filing with the SEC. And they said that there's a new license requirement for future exports to China, including Hong Kong that would reduce the risk that the products may be used by the Chinese military. We don't want our chips being used by the Chinese military. Now do we? No, I actually think this is a pretty sensible thing to do. I've been pushing this forever. I'm glad to see the Intel. Is moving its headquarters to Ohio. We need more chip companies more really important companies. And by the way, not so important. Companies as well. Here headquartered domestically in the United States of America. The company, as I said, expects to lose about $400 million in potential sales in China in the current quarter after previously forecasting revenue of $5.9 billion. The new rule would also apply to sales that they might have to Russia, but apparently they know how many paying customers there. So it's not going to matter as much. But the technology stuff going to China, that's a big deal, right? In terms of our fears that the military is both going to use and also steal our trade secrets. The

He says all gun purchases should require a background check and red flag law should be law of the land. Really interesting to hear him say there. Someone from Hollywood, calling to restore our family values and the wake of that mass shooting at that elementary school in Texas. Real impassioned plea there, and I think probably the best presentation that we've seen from that podium in an awfully long time. Dr. Fauci Admits Mask Mandates Are All About Power

"I couldn't believe the news the other day that the Biden administration led by Tony Fauci and the CDC want to reinstate forcing people to wear masks on buses on trains on airplanes. And I happen to turn on Fox News channel yesterday afternoon. And what I saw just stunned me. It was Tony Fauci, and I didn't think he did Fox News, but maybe Neil cavuto is one of the safe Fox News hosts for lord Fauci. He sure isn't going to do Tucker Carlson's show anytime. I'm soon. And there's Tony Fauci admitting out loud what we've said all along. It has nothing to do with masks. It has nothing to do with mandates. It has to do with who gets to call the shots, who has the power. Don't believe me? Here was doctor Anthony Fauci. On Neil cavuto's show yesterday, on Fox News. Speculated in the past, and I will in the future, it's less about mandates on the plane than it is about who has the right and the authority and the capability of making public health decisions. And I believe that the Department of Justice is operating on the principle that decisions that are public health decisions along with the public health agency in this case, the CDC. So that's more of did you hear that? Did you hear what he said? It's less about mandates on the plane than it is about who has the right and the authority and the capability of making public health decisions. So The White House is going to insist on mask mandates again, but it's less about the mask mandate as it is who gets to make that decision.

Again, I used to be a member of this Presbyterian. Kramer did not know if the pastor was harmed in the shooting, a pastor clobbered the gunman as he tried to reload with a chair and a bunch of the so called older victims. They were all in their 60s. Those not shot tackle them in hog tied in, but it's a 60 year old Asian man is the killer there. Democratic disagreements imperil Biden agenda as shutdown looms

"I'm anthony davis. Joe biden's agenda of reform was at risk of being derailed by divisions among his own democrats as moderates voiced anger on wednesday the idea of delaying a one trillion dollar infrastructure bill ahead of a critical vote to avert a government shutdown. The white house said talks over twin bills that would revitalize the nation's roads and airports and fund social programs and climate change measures. Were too precarious. Point a senator. "I want to begin your weekend. Perhaps with a story of heroism before going to the reality of our shame. The story of heroism comes from the great. Britain's telegraph newspaper. I read in the morning is the financial times the second at the telegraph. Then the times of israel. Then i get to the american papers. They only started earlier right so they're hours ahead of us for the news cycles. A little bit more developed this story. I got yesterday afternoon from a friend. Sent this to me. So i cannot claim credit for having spotted it. It showed up last night. I put it online. It went everywhere. And i've reposted it because it just makes you realize heroes. We have lots of heroes in the united states especially in the military who and and the police force and the firefighters. We celebrate them on september eleventh. Then we forget them too. Often we celebrate them on memorial weekend and on veterans day. And then forget them. But i'll tell ya every day in the world they're heroes. "Fire started around four yesterday afternoon near the five Freeway. All the vegetation is very receptive to wild land fire, and today was just the perfect combination of wind, humidity, temperature and dry fuels. Two firefighters were burned working on the fire Yesterday. The five freeway is partially shut down from Vista del Lago Road to Templin Highway. The fire burning in Butte County has burned more than 960,000 acres. The fire is now 65% surrounded. More than 1300 structures have been destroyed by the fire. This fire is the second largest in California history. And finally, something is bugging people in L. A. It's bedbugs, a lot of them bug killing company. Terminix has ranked the most bed bug infested cities in the country. Los Angeles is ranked number one, followed by Cleveland, Philadelphia, Detroit and New York City. Terminix, senior director of Bedbugs services, Rick Kuper says bedbugs go where people go so they can be virtually anywhere and they're not only in beds they can jump on the clothes, bags and backpacks. Signs of an infestation include tiny blood smears on your sheets, a musty odor reddish brown blood spots. On your mattress and the bed bugs themselves. Amy King Kft news. "Like the Giants got situated in Denver last night or yesterday afternoon, and guys, I just I I I mean, we're out of words right out of words at this point when they're down three. Nothing at course. Field, you start bargaining in your brain. Well, sweeping. The Rockies is hard, you know? Wow, This is game 16 of 16 in a row. Maybe the Cardinals will do us a solid, you know, two out of three's outstanding. Crack. Brandon Crawford, three run, Jack and you're just like this guy and I was compelled to just tweet out like what is going on with this guy Not being in the M V P conversation, and I know It's like every market that has their favorite guy pumps up their guy. Hell, we did this with Steph Curry. All last winter were like step. C m v P man, Steph c M v P. He was doing things every night. And then, like the M V P race came out step wasn't even close. He wasn't even like within a toll call of Yannis until a couple so I mean, sometimes you get caught up in your little own little world, but I got it. I mean, when you look around You look around National League baseball and I get in these arguments. My kids now you know, Tatty says more home runs. I'm like, Why don't we start talking about the complete player and also, when are we going to start talking about rewarding? Who is maybe the best overall player on the best team. People always say M V P comes down to winning. Well, the Giants are 90 and 50. This is insane. And who's their best overall player? It's Brandon Crawford this year. So anyway, biker that NFL rule of you know you give it to the best the best quarterback on the best team or something like that, or the best in the NBA role. You generally give it to the best player on the best team. So anywhere. The fact that he's not even in the conversation. We look at the Vegas odds recently copes as you're all situated over there that he's not even in the conversation is just absurd, right? He's got to be. He's gotta be. I'll look up N L M V P odds in Las Vegas and last time I looked, he was not in the top eight. On the board. Here we go. Vegas Insider. Uh, does that count as Vegas? Insider? Legitimate Vegas. Since are you can go with those that go tatty cease Minus 2 80, Bryce Harper Plus 600, Max Muncy, plus 7 50 Freddie Freeman, Plus 900, Joey Votto plus 2000 trade Turner. Plus 2800 ready for this Austin Riley plus 3300, and that is the listing. That's crazy, So there's got to be some formula. Remember the staff when we found it was like that basketball reference formula that was used reference has one baseball reference has one and it's like a predictor based on past metrics in and how voters have voted in the past. And I think the I think what was so crazy about the Where did step. Finishing The voting, uh, was like third, because, remember, there was anybody. He looked that up. Who were Steph finishing the voting right through, But there was like there was a remember They had him in, like 10th, or 11th on that that predictor list for basketball reference based on previous Winners, but the the Top vote getter was Nicola Yo, kitchen, He ended up winning it. So it predicted correctly, But I said I said, Yannis, I met. Yeah, OK, Yeah. I'm sorry. Thank you very much went way off, though. As far as, uh, as far as we're Steph finished baseball reference does not have a predictor. They have a basketball reference Asthma. ESPN has a Cy Young predictor. And by that case, they're going with Walker Buehler over. They still have Gausman number two. I know I've seen that doesn't seem right. Does it anyway, The point is that we Crawford at the three run homer yesterday It was his 20th bomb of the year. His 80th R B i of the year. And then what you're gonna say about Lamont, Wait. I mean, I mean that stat that they put up about his ninth inning this year. Nine for 15 with nine ribs, nine for 15 with nine ribs, and I believe what is it like a couple triples in a bomb, And there's no joke. There is this that general Feeling that you get as a sports fan when a certain guy is at the free throw line. When a certain quarterback is under center on 3rd and 10, you have the feeling I felt tremendous about Lamont weight In that moment, I feel tremendous about him and all these moments. Step. Finished. Third Copes third, Yokich one and B two, Curry three. But in terms of first place was Yokich 91. And be in any stuff. Got 55 1st 91 to 5 on that one there. So anyway, you were saying about Lamont way? Yeah, I'm with you. He's got that feeling where, When you step up, you feel like he's going to come through because it's happened so many times. What's crazy is for for a guy who's Who's I mean, you end up with surprises like this all the time. Buster Posey shows up in 2010 is a top prospect and winds Rookie of the year and then they went, You know, he wins M v P in 2012 and what not, But for a guy like this to come out of nowhere and to be as clutch as he is, and we forget about how long you played first base this year was a corner outfielder. Then he moves into first place. I mean, it's overwhelming now, when he's at the play like there's one guy I want up in these situations in the temp, But I don't care how many strikes he has. Is he now has he passed Yaz as 400 greatest fine. Where is he s still out there? I think this is like your I think this is like your Dwayne Kipper comment on which ballpark is better Wrigley or Sunway, which which Everyone's getting The hit today. Well, great call And speaking of hits, Buddy. We got to drop the needle on on the hit that gets every morning commuter. Going 90 times this year. Uh, they played nine innings of baseball in Denver. Chi called it in on their way out to the Denver airport, which is about 50 miles outside of town. Is that how far you got to go an hour? I wouldn't say 50, but it's an annoying like 25 to 30. Let me let me like, Actually anybody out there. You know this Well, coach we landed there. Remember, we got those bad sliders there, too, Or there's bad barbecue. There's nothing about the dog to that barbecue was awful. The thing about the Denver airport is it's really small and easy to an avenue. That's what I like so much about it. You don't have to Walk great distances between between stops or how many seats it's a 45 minute drive from Denver Airport to downtown Denver. Right now, we're inside. It's like a 45 minute. Walk to your gate once you get out of security, brutal, so get out game. Get over to Chicago. By the way. How about an off day? You've got an off day in the windy city thinking about taking a jog around the lake, Uh, played nine innings. Baseball, Chi called it in and much to the Rockies. Dismay and much to the Dodgers. Dismay. San Francisco Giants seven, Colorado Rockies four, It's all good baby. So good, beautiful.

Biden Turns From Afghanistan to Domestic Agenda

"I am joined by byron york at the washington examiner and fox news. Good morning byron. How are you good morning you doing. Well thanks The lead story for me today has also the lead story in the wall street journal. The headline is biden seeks to shift focus to domestic issues after afghanistan. Exit white house plans to spend september pushing for passage of the president's agenda as he faces falling poll numbers. I personally believe that. Most americans know about the thousands of american citizens l. p. r.'s and sib holders abandoning afghanistan that they don't quite know the details but they're intently concerned with it and that it's an iceberg issue that the president is mishandling by treating it as something that will be forgotten. David drucker disagrees with me. Brian rosen wall. Very much disagrees with me. That americans are paying attention. What does byron york thing. Well i think that american's feelings about us citizens being left behind ghanistan. I think those feelings are essentially folded in to the poll. Numbers that you're seeing Biden's approval rating for his handling the situation afghanistan which are in the twenties. I mean those are nixon and watergate. Poll numbers So i do think that americans are aware of that now. A couple of things about biden changing the subject. Of course he wants to change the subject answer as well A lot of the pr. The question is what will allow the press. Go along with it if you look at politico's playbook this morning and we just tiny tiny little mention of afghanistan Much more on the biden Agenda on the other hand i was. I didn't hear the first half hour of your program Did you read. Senator blumenthal's tweets. Today did not. I tweeted the story out that he is outraged. He's a democrat but go ahead and tell people about it. Well Senator blumenthal Yesterday afternoon Posted a threat on twitter. US President Biden Addresses Afghanistan Exit

"Yesterday afternoon. The commander in chief himself president biden marched into the east room of the white house addressed the nation and declared that. He's not the president of alarming images. He's not the picture of chaos rather. He's the man who had the guts to end the forever war. Our fellow americans war in afghanistan is now over. Let's get into this. We are joined now by. Abc's chief global affairs correspondent martha raddatz and retired army ranger in. Abc news contributor. Jericho denman who knows what. It's like to be deployed to afghanistan. Because he's been deployed many times. Martha can we start with this address. What did you notice from president biden. Here he was defiant and double down on his decision to withdraw troops from afghanistan. I was not going to extend this forever. War hours not extending a forever exit. He of course talked about the success of the evacuation mission and it has been enormously successful in that they got more than one hundred twenty two thousand people out really in a matter of days. That number is more than double but most experts solar possible no nation no nation has ever done anything like it in all history but the reason they had to have that emergency evacuation was because of the way this withdrawal was handled and what they didn't know by the time i came to office. The taliban was it a strongest military position since two thousand one. They didn't know the taliban would take over in eleven days and it led to chaos and desperation. But if you listen to that speech it's really largely. I'm getting out of afghanistan for all the reasons he said

Belmont Apartment Building Evacuated for ‘Structural Concerns’

"Of residents are out of a home. They were evacuated from a seven storey apartment building yesterday afternoon over fears the condo could collapse. It's an old building, so you know, I just felt like had they been on top of it For all these years, we wouldn't be here. Cora notified her landlord of the crack in her sixth floor ceiling in late July. Engineers came to inspect and on Friday they deemed it unsafe. Recommending everyone evacuate. Actually, it's like a movie. I suddenly like. Refugee is the first I don't have this experience before Towns building inspector says there was no imminent threat of a collapse just structural concerns. But officials say the memory of the deadly building collapse in Surfside, Florida in June ramped up their response. All of us are on a heightened sense of awareness. I think that goes for public safety officials. I think it goes to building owners and building occupants. That report came from WBZ TV S Cristina Rex. Engineers will be back for a thorough inspection on Monday.
