Don Lemon Should Learn When to Keep Quiet!

"Last week, after Nikki Haley announced she's running for president Don lemon, the resident goofball at CNN, who he's gotten drunk on New Year's Eve, said stupid stuff. I mean, everything a lot of times is a racist tone to him. And then last week, you know, coming off and it's been going this whole week because he just came back to what is a Wednesday when he came back. He didn't even apologize. He didn't even mention it when he came back home to CNN morning show, which by the way draws flies for ratings. I mean, there just nobody there. And he didn't even mention the fact that when he said Nikki Haley was past her prime. It's real appropriate. I mean, and you're sitting there with two female host with you. I mean, but I bring this up, James, to ask the question because this is what a lot of people are really, really frustrated about is that it's different standards. Don lemon is back on the air. Could you have imagined if a Tucker Carlson had said that? If a conservative host on Fox had said that our newsmax had said that the left wouldn't have stopped until they were fired. For sure, but that's, I guess that's the difference is like, well, they're always there will always be a double standard. But I look at it as that's his corner. So why would they attack it? But is there a certain point in time? I mean, there is really a corner for that. I mean, there shouldn't be, but they're obviously is.

It's a very unhappy article, but I'm sorry. I just have to reflect for one moment. Sean would you please put Titus down on the list? It is a, it is a word I would have made up if it didn't exist already. Said his wife, Allison, began feeling sick the morning of December 31st. But thought she had just had an upset stomach. When it worsened throughout the morning, drove his wife to the nearest emergency department in Amherst Nova Scotia around 11 a.m.. He said he carried Allison into the hospital on his back. She was obviously in pain, he told CBC news in an interview Sunday. I was rolling her in the wheelchair, and she could hardly sit up.

'Bomb cyclone' brings damaging winds, drenches California

"The fierce storm that pounded much of Northern California this week has left flooding, damaged buildings in at least two deaths in its wake. Hurricane force winds were clocked in the north bay region part of an atmospheric river that led to dozens of flight cancellations in San Francisco. But it's the human toll. That's the hardest to bear. Absolutely nightmare. It could happen to any family. A lean to Cheney's two year old grandson was killed when a redwood tree fell onto his family's mobile home. It happened in Sonoma county, neighbors helped pull out the crumpled debris to reach the toddler, but eon to chini could not be saved. He was a love and angel. Police in Fairfield, California you see a 19 year old woman died in a crash, her vehicle hydroplaned on a flooded road. Further south in Santa Cruz county. We did everything we could. You know, we got our sandbags. Dominic kings, Mai Tai beach restaurant was battered, as a historic pier in capitola collapsed. The floor boards have been pushed through the floor foundation and shifted. This storm came just days after a New Year's Eve deluge. California's governor has declared a state of emergency. California braces for more storms following Saturday's flood

"California residents brace for another round of powerful storms this week and weekend after flooding from New Year's Eve storms killed one person forced jail evacuations and washed away a section of a levee system. In Sacramento county crews rushed to repair a levee system protecting 53 square miles of mostly vineyards and cattle ranches, hoping to finish before the next atmospheric rivers hit. It is going to be bringing the potential for significant flooding and this will also include concerns for debris flows and rock and landslides. And national weather service meteorologist Andrew orrison says another three to 6 inches of rain and this will actually even include some of the cities like the San Francisco Bay Area on down towards Monterey. Higher elevations like the Sierra nevadas could get 6 to 8 inches and snow could fall, which he says is not all bad. It's going to actually be very, very good news for the longer term water supply considerations for the state of California. I'm Julie Walker.

"Week for a game of the Middlesbrough and I'd sell out what Harry read that my manager at West Ham. We just couldn't say eye to eye. And we had an argument on the Friday, and he dropped me on the Friday, the boys went up to Middlesbrough. And it was an old trick that managers used back in the day down where if you fill out with a manager, they would always take it on a way trips and not even put you on the bench. It was like a punishment. So they wouldn't so they wouldn't put you in the squad for like say a home game because it's not much of a punishment because you're there anyway. The taking all the way to the Middlesbrough to travel overnight and then what we call Lucas 8 man to put your look as I admired 15th man as it was back then. So you just sit there, you just wasted and you've just managed to ruin your weekend as a punishment. And the lads got beat 5 zero one junior was on fire Emerson boxing all these boys I think were at the time. And it was fuming with the players. He's called an a meeting on on a Sunday morning back at Chadwick, but we got back from Middlesbrough. It's 12 1 o'clock in the morning, so we've just got an hour or two in back in London. I was late for that meeting on the Sunday morning. He went ballistic. What was your punishment? Just fell out of each other. That wasn't fine. It wasn't a job 'cause I wasn't, I wasn't playing anyway because I was dropped for a period of time. So it was just more angst between him and me. Lucas saved man sounds like the worst superhero. I remember when I was almost conference with Glenn hoddle. And. The doggo, when it brought me off and against Tottenham and the first ever as it was to waste time, I didn't see it that way. And then things got a bit heated. Oh, it was, you could have cut the room, you can cut it with a with a knife. Anyway, the next day, we're going to Portugal, playing golf and three days with a break. A hundred and 80 million? Do you know what Pakistan? I saw some stats about did you see this yesterday? No, no. But Pakistan, compared to Brazil. No, no, no. "Doesn't it? It has to do something. I thought we already had this conversation, then following the game against athletic commandry. Where you could hear in this stadium, a good majority of the stadium, really. You could hear them chanting more, no more no more, which if you don't know it's monkey monkey monkey. They were already doing this to an eastern junior against Atlético Marie. And to the point that Shaka was making the time just goes by and nothing really happens. Well, there were supposed to be fans that were going to be persecuted, right? And then early in December, Spanish prosecutor comes out and says, no, we can not treat this as a crime because it only happened for a few seconds. And look, it was in the middle of a maximum rivalry. It was a heated moment. So if it is for a short period of time, and it is within the boundaries of a rivalry, then yeah, sure you can be a racist. This is the message coming from a prosecutor from the guy who ripped from a person who represents the law in Spain. So yes, we are right to focus on tevas, but this is a society issue. If a person who represents the laws, the legal system in Spain, it's telling you that, look, if you're a racist for a few seconds and if it is within the boundaries of a rivalry, it's okay. Go ahead and do it. It tells you everything that you need to know as to how significant and how big of a problem this is. It's not a few people. It's not just a couple of guys in the corner. No, it's something that is well within and trench the fan bases and until it is addressed and until it becomes zero tolerance, it will continue to happen. What do you do, sir? Easy solution is close the stand, close these stand. If you want to get deeper into it for every paying patron coming into that stand, that money to antiracist education within that within that tone within that city, however you want to split it up. There's a million ways that the league can go about addressing these issues. As I say, you want to kind of simple nobody ask any questions approach. Just close the stand. That's a suspension. And you see that everybody in the league, you found guilty we have evidence of racial abuse. The era of the silent majority is long past us. If you aren't speaking out against it, then you're guilty by association. Close the edge and if you wouldn't chanting and you're affected, but then you also need to do better. Again, you want to get a little bit more complex. You can start about enacting anti racism education in schools in high schools and workplaces around your fanbase with fan groups. However you want to do it. But just let it be meaningful. Let it be visible so that when black players suffer this kind of abuse, they feel that the league is supporting them, that is hearing their pleas and something, even if it's a long-term proposal, something is being done. La Liga then is back next weekend.

"Know where to start about his statement in all honesty. I mean, if you want to talk about La Liga fighting racism for years and you want to provide evidence of that, asam mulatto, as Daniel alves, ours finishes junior, what has happened in the last year, that maybe points to that. As opposed to just telling everybody that you're fighting racism and you've been doing so for years, tell everybody what you've been doing. Show us some kind of evidence of that. But with no evidence, certainly within the stadiums, certainly especially as far as vanishes junior is consumed, I'm not sure how you as the head of a league. I'm not sure how you as any right thinking adult human being sits down and pans out as a response to Venetian junior. In a moment where quite clearly, and there is evidence yet again of the races that he is facing, how you write that as a response. And now, once again, the game will move on. We'll talk about something else over the next couple of weeks. This will be forgotten, the league will do nothing about it until somebody goes and abuses another black player in the league again and will probably just regurgitate that Seymour rhetoric. It's not convincing to anybody who's paying any attention is not convincing to any of the black players in the league, tebas has to do better. I'm not sure how, but quite clearly he is not inclined to do so himself. This is tebas who quite happily pokes his nose and other leagues financial affairs and voices has dismay at business models of leagues and clubs and whatnot. He's quite happy to get involved and that even when it's not and has jurisdiction and yet the one thing that has a major problem under his nose under his jurisdiction it chooses to pretty much ignore. So it's quite happy to fight a lot of battles, but it doesn't seem to want to pick a fight and there's battle. That's for sure. Ali the sad thing was there was almost an inevitability about it when the referee made venetia's junior leave the pitch as a substitute at the furthest point when he had to walk in front of those fans. And we see in these videos, these guys in a handful of fans, it is hundreds of supporters who are chanting racial abuse at Venetian junior, the league has to step up,

"Espanol some life that they did not have early in the game. And this is a tendency for Barcelona in that they go over early, but they're unable to sustain that level of play. And when you do that, then you expose yourself to certain things that can happen and Jose was a big body, throws himself over his body around, then gets kicked for the penalty kick, and now you're having to try to find a goal that wasn't there. As for Robert Lewandowski, who they fought so very hard, they going through the legal system in order to have him available. He had two or three opportunities today. And he wasn't the difference maker that they wanted him to be, but just like they were a few performances in this bar so on a team that were below par and below the expectations of a team that has had 6 weeks to prepare this game and a lot of these guys did not make long runs in the World Cup. So I don't know what the excuses, but whatever excuse that is, it is not one that I'm about to accept. Barcelona are poor in the last 60 minutes of the game. And they gave up two points. And again, that they should have won. I was so complacent today, Shane. And I don't think Esparza were good at all. And as much as this is a Derby and you expected so much more from them. They really struggled to mount any kind of meaningful threat to Boston or school up until the penalty. And it was a party soon as protests. It certainly was a party. And once once they take that opportunity, then you're looking for a response from Barcelona and while yes, they had a couple of opportunities Lewandowski, maybe we could have done better. There's a couple of himself. I don't feel boss or look anything like themselves. Anything like the team that would have a spaniel really worried. Keep a meet a couple of good seas. But again, just kind of back to front. I don't feel bad so in a played that great. And as a result, you know you're better than espanol if you know where near to your best, you've got to take that knock on the chin. I suppose the good thing for Barcelona is the smoke screen that is the Matteo la host show, Ali, which obviously will dominate the headlines in Spain tomorrow regarding his performance, particularly in the last 15 minutes. You call it the Matteo Laos show, I'll call it a Matteo's experience. It's no longer a show. When you think in terms of bumpy rides and attractions and an amusement park, I struggle with the ones that are simulators. The one that you get sort of enclosed and in a capsule and your simulating things in front of you, that gets me all sorts of nauseous. This is what Matteo Laos was today. He was getting you nauseous. The way he carried the game. And this is of the heels of his poor performance in the World Cup and the game between Argentina and the Netherlands. So should we be surprised probably not. But he spent most

"Rightly, but Rashard making the difference for united. So he 8 hour 9 wins out, Craig. I mean, this game really is, I mean, as simple as saying he was the difference. Wolves are a side hurt, okay, they've been really struggling for goals, particularly in the calendar year, but this season. But the general play is not bad, but it breaks down in the final fun for them and so up until this point. All right, united was slightly the better, but with over a really without really control in the middle of the park. And it was about somebody doing something different. Younger natural played with a little bit of an effect. I have to say, Anthony wasn't brilliant again on the other side. And you just look, I'm just not a huge fan of martial. I'm talking about transfers for arsenal. They'll be looking in January if not this summer. He's not going to last. But it did take. And you just wonder, do you know he was coming on? And you know that and I know we'll talk about it. He wanted to make a point. The manager. But you can't deny his form. And he was effective with the big difference from two teams that were actually bearing a main wheel they are on the league. We're actually relatively close in terms of the performance. It's night and day, isn't it compared to what we saw from Marcus Rashford under previous managers, to how he's just thriving under ten home? It's incredible to turn around. Obviously everyone's aware of the work that he'd done off the pit. But I think now you've seen a player that's loving life on the pitch. He feels love nothing. He feels as though maybe he's the top man. He's certainly playing like he's the top man. It was one of them games today, Craig's right, and he's analysis. There wasn't too much between the two teams. In fact, I think over the years, wolves money night is one of the lowest score and fixtures in the Premier League. There's nothing much between them. I think over the last 11 times, the game has been decided by one. We don't care about those stats. No, I know, but he was the difference because otherwise you're looking at a nil nil. Without Marcus Rashford today, you are looking at two teams and I've said it in our standby. If you take Marcus Rashford out with this side down and he gets injured, I don't know where money not as gold is going to come from. So in order for man united to get top four, they're going to have to strengthen in my opinion. They can't stay with the same squad in terms of rashford and martial is the two only number 9s that can play through the middle. Otherwise, one injured a rashford they're not going to make top four there too. They're too shy in that department. So it was all on rashford he was the difference without a handball gold chalked off as well, potentially it could have scored two today so he was the match winner and we wonder the story about the world cup change in manager's minds and stuff we've seen at Chelsea and pot has been asked about that. Pull us into spores and then Harry Maguire. Yes. Actually, you know, against all odds had a pretty decent World Cup, but then that was the second game in a row. We're going to get out of there and we'll look shots played. I mean, he came on and put the arm, I'm not going to say he came on for three minutes, put the armband on, headed the ball away. She had given him a wages. Thank you very much. Ten hags made his decision on that front. So yeah, I'm literally did a good job.

"50 50. I'm going to say 51, 49. Correct. 200 next week. Tune in in me. To also, really? I'm a neutral. I'm good for change. You too. Me too. I got criticized for that. I just want them to finish top four. That's all I get. Listen, if I was you, I'd go and spend it tonight. I think brilliant. He's going to hate. Yeah, winning it and getting it. He's got to give it. He's going to hand it to her on the show one day. You're talking about a man who's pocket stitched on his drosos. And I'll get his hands in. Elsewhere today. We saw Newcastle take on Lisa's one finished nil. Will you keep it in a closer on this one, Craig? Yeah, those two games run at the same time, set in a Newcastle and try to watch both. Building the main leads are normally playing entertaining game in Newcastle have been brilliant to watch recently. This was actually a pretty good game for 45 minutes. I'm not saying it was bad in the second half, but it was more a one way traffic in the second half, which was Newcastle, Palin forward, long staff and a couple of Chan seas. Melee made a couple of good saves. I think one from wood that fell at his feet and he come out quickly, smothered that and it was really about it was about Newcastle pushing in that crowd that you know Shaq getting behind them, but it just felt to me to deal with Newcastle for all the good player recently that it just kept breaking down right at the death and of course Kieran Trippier. I lost count and many corners and freaks. They won and he wept in. It just wasn't their day. So where are we with regards to what this means for the sea? Is this just a one off day where things weren't going right in front of goal? Was it a sign of things? Listen, I think conditions Peter part in this one. As a probably we did in the city game as well. Because Newcastle dominated dominated play and just couldn't find that that finishing touch for one reason or another time before boards for informing for the defenders when you want to strike on the end of it. It just wasn't connecting. And you had to put that down as to just one of those days. Again, you kind of write off at least it is not worse than it was in that legal and score. And again, you take that and you try to put that behind you as quickly as possible. Newcastle, then very much in the fight for a place in the top four, the top four now, which sees Manchester United in it for the first time this season after being walled by one goal to nil. This game really was all about Marcus Rashford, who we learned after the game was dropped because he was late to a meeting after he overslept. He was brought on at halftime, scores a winning go. In fact, got a second goal as well, which is ruled out for a handball rightly, but Rashard making the difference for united. So he 8 hour 9 wins out, Craig. I mean, this game really is, I mean, as simple as saying he was the difference.

"This was a foregone conclusion for arsenal. Going to Brighton on the back of garbage is just going down. And the January transfer window on all these speculation around who will come in is then catch a good enough. I go into this. I wouldn't have put my mortgage in after winning. Yet, once again, because you rent. Well, to put dogs love it, I wouldn't have put those mortgages on outside winning. But again, not only do they win, they make it look so easy. And yes, it got a little closer in the end and it should have been. But they just make it look so easy. Again, just having me kind of have another saving of humble play. If you think Eddie Kerry is going to be Gabriel, Jesus, then we're having the wrong discussion. You know, because it's just not. It's just not. You just got to be a good version of himself. That's popping up. Keeping himself on the score sheet. Linking up play, working hard, closing down defenders, making sure as he was for the one that they keep us built, that it was in that right area, having their strikers instinct to poke it in the net. And maybe that's fine for arsenal, maybe they will go and look at the middle of the park in January. What happens if someone has to Jack and party do we sort of try and bring in some reinforcements there? Are we okay? We're adding ketchup for the time, but human no desserts is coming back. So there are some conundrums for them. There's no need to go on panic and bring some of the end for the sake of it. And the one thing about Arteta. And as the one thing that certainly annoys me watching them, I don't get annoyed by so much by managers been jumping the technical area. Sometimes you think, I sat down. It's more a possession of how far it continually comes out. And what made me laugh was when he thought it was actually for three with 5 or 6 minutes to go on maybe more before the goal was ruled out. He was telling everybody, calm down. Calm down. You look at Ronda, and he's bobbing around here. Jumping around and running any people. So, you know, as a one thing that he does, I suppose that's the makeup of him, but his team is paying off, isn't it? I suppose one downside, we're seeing a nest game a little bit again, Gabrielle making one or two decisions, needless yellows, then we saw William saliba make a mistake for one of the Brighton goals. The second one I think it was. Unusual from those guys, particularly saliba who's been brilliant, so there are some that are some real, some little halls to be picked up and arsenal, but that's sort of that's net picking. Let's just say January is going to be a massive one for them. Here we go then. Percentage chance. Don't do it to me. Who arsenal? Well yes. Yeah, yeah, not Everton. No I know. I'm just trying to buy time. I think it's just straight shoot up between them and city. I don't see anyone catching them. So I'd say 50 50. Wow. 50 50, and we have that stage. You're not in, shank. Yeah. I'm in agreement. I think 7 points makes it 50 50. I'm going to say 51, 49. Correct. 200 next week. Tune in in me. To also, really? I'm a neutral. I'm good for change.

"Four three. It was the changes, I think, the arsenal made that Kenya low bright and that impetus. So all in all, I really, really super performance. We keep asking questions of arsenal Don and they keep answering in some style. Yeah, do you know what it reminds me of that? It reminds me of 1516 when Leicester were in this position and every week, every month went by and I thought Tottenham will catch less. Now, someone will catch them. And they never did. City obviously a different Catholic ish than Tottenham who were the chasers at the time. But arsenal getting the job done. And when you watch them down, there's like an inevitability that they're going to win, and you're very rarely get that. I think we're top sides. I think over the last 5 or 6 years, that's normally Liverpool. It's normally man city where they go, it doesn't matter who they're playing. They'll win. That's arsenal at the moment. I had no doubt that bit Brighton. It's just the way they're playing Craig mentioned Erdoğan. He was one of the much by a million miles parte was brilliant for one of the goals. He's one of the best readers of the game. And they're flowing, they've got momentum, which you can't buy. So, you know, they're playing well, the winning games. And they're going away from teams and the gun away from man city. 7 points clear, as you said, but Craig's right. I mean, in our mind, as I would think about halfway there, but we're not, but there's a lot of work to be done. But what a position to be in. I mean, from this time, I think at the start of last season, when we're in a bottom three, our teta out first job in football is not going to survive. All of a sudden, you know, a bit of trauma with the Obama young at mines would be of ten Hagen Ronaldo and rashford scenario, but he made the right call. Look where they are now. You said you don't like in katia. Is he starting to change your mind? Let me just see. Every question or criticism I've had a vast and not just in katja ose is long the answer. You know, all the concerns about which John just mentioned whether we're talking about Arteta, they started the season, how would they respond to that first lawsuit? By the way, I just think of Craig. I don't know who was on the I was lead action. According to Lee, who was at the game that he did bump into the lines of the test on more than one occasion. Yeah, yeah, yeah. In a flag, poor kid in his eye. But as to that point, you know, all those questions answer. No, the one remaining one is can arsenal put together two halves of a season. Of the CM season. And we're right now, you have to see absolutely yes. I disagree with, I don't think this was a foregone conclusion for arsenal. Going to Brighton on the back of garbage is just going down. And the January transfer window on all these speculation

"Only about 7, 8 minutes to go. So I think he left it a little bit late. But it was a very scrappy game, which suited ever. Well, he thought the rebellion again. Well, I don't think they were. No, I'm just saying he thought they were. I can't get in this Ikea of the manager. I'm just telling you they played another brilliant game. I don't see it that way. They're not seeing that way. It took Grealish off again. And product. Change the record. Kevin De Bruyne had a bad game today, gave the ball away a lot. And he was getting frustrated and I think I'm like dawn and everybody else, I was thinking he's getting the phone call from the chairman, Frank Lampard tomorrow. This is going to be embarrassing. But the fort and the scrapped and hung in there and I actually played some of the better football of the season at times and that against arguably the best team. But yeah, and I think that challenge from Holland was reckless. And then we didn't see really any close ups for some reason. I don't know. I don't know why. It was kind of just, yeah, yellow cow, let's move on. It's Ellen Holland. He scores goals. He's a load. He can do that. But yeah, I didn't think there were brilliant and yeah, he ever good for a point and what a point for them. I thought it was a yellow for holiday. I thought that was right. That was the right call by the referee. To Craig's point, yes, Guardiola in that they were brilliant and the other team didn't really come to play for board, but never since defense, where they are in the table and kind of performance, as you've seen from them, you understand that. And it's almost surprising in that city at this point, expect that. It was a flat back 5. Let's not even pretend they had wingbacks. It was a flat back 5, soaked up pressure and just hoping to keep it narrow and then get a moment of brilliance. And which is exactly what they got from Greek. So if you're ever done, you happy, you leave the Etihad with a point as you do, that's a point very well earned and a point that you did not expect as Craig says, you could quite easily make an argument that this B 5 O 6. So if you ever turn your happy, if your city, I don't understand the kind of argument at all, that's they didn't come to play. You should know that. And it is 2.0 no question. A city okay, Don. I think they are done. I think you saw inside today where I think it depends on your mood on how you play against them. Remember Newcastle being three, one up at the start of the season at Saint James's Park, when you custom fly in the ended up drawing the game of three three. So if you're confident, you feel as though you can take man city on at their own game, but Everett and no shape to take them on at their own game. So they had to get wired in. I mean, Kevin De Bruyne lost his head once or twice. He was, he got a yellow card, and that was borderline. I think we'll be okay. I think we'll react. You know, you go back a couple of months, they lost against Brentford in the last second, then they come back first game back and a bit leads. What's interesting for the top teams in man city being one of them is the fixtures that are coming up. They've got Chelsea man united and spurs. So they're going to have to go on some run, but city normally going to run at this point in the season. They normally go 11 unbeaten or 11 straight wins. So they've got a bit of work to do, but I think arsenal are in the same boat. They've got Newcastle spurs man united. So I can see a lot of teams who are playing each other in the top four dropping points. So it's who can put a mini run together, Dan and city are normally one of the best at it. I also of course knew the result between city and Evanston going into their clash at a Brighton. Of course, been

Rita Moreno's Tempestuous Love Affair With Marlon Brando

"I got to know about mala Brando through his daughter. I got to know a lot about him. But Rita Moreno had a hard time with Brando. And she admitted she tried to kill herself with pills. A couple of times. She didn't understand that if she said, if I was gonna kill this pathetic said, trot upon Rita, the rest of Rita was also gonna go with me. I really didn't seem to understand that, but that's what the attempt was. It was an attempt and I love when people get this, there's honest late in life, you know? Because these are these people are from a different generation, obviously, but Hollywood was so different back then. It was the golden age. People didn't, you know, kiss and tell. But you read these biographies that come out autobiographies that come out and memoirs and man, you get the whole skinny. What a great time must have been to be out here. But Moreno was married to a heart Doctor Who became her manager. I named Leonard Gordon and, you know, Brando kept coming around. And read it and want that. But he did. And she said he lost a big pot of himself. The good part of him, the good mullin that read a love, it was very complicated our thing really, really complicated. He was the king of movies. He was really one of the most sexual men on earth. It was one of those very tempestuous love affairs. And don't forget what you just said. He was one of the most sexual men on earth. That's why you have to believe me when Quincy Jones said what he said about Randolph would screw a doorknob. And he had sex with men. His own daughter told me he had a fling with mobile, James Dean. We were having New Year's Eve dinner and she told me that and my family couldn't believe it. It refused to believe it. And then she said, was having sex with men even after James Dean. Marvin Gaye was another one. So nobody believes these stories, but when you talk to people from their family and they admit it to you, you're going to tell them they're wrong. They're not wrong. And even though he was crazy, she admitted that she wanted to marry him. You know, but she kept sleeping with him regardless of the fact that he was sleeping around with other women, and it killed her. She said, one time she found lingerie that was not hers. And she went home devastated, crying and crying. And something wonderful happened the next day, she said, she was spotted by Elvis Presley. Who liked what he saw? And he asked for a meeting with Rita. And she accepted the invitation with that stranger's lingerie still on her mind, you know, it's going to happen now, she has a fling with Elvis because she's pissed at random.

CNN Bans On-Air Drinking During New Year's Eve Broadcasts

"Again, one of those shows that not exactly what you signed up for, but it's Monday and that's the way it is. Also on CNN, I watched the history of sitcoms. The other night oh, by the way, big news. The head of CNN. Chris licked, my told you is going to do great things at that network. He's still making sweeping changes. You know, he got rid of Brian stelter as we know, the guy who also the guy who was jerking off during the Zoom call, Jeffrey too, but he's gone. He took Don lemon's prime time shell away, and now he's really changing things. It was announced that there will be no more drinking alcohol during CNN's New Year's Eve broadcast. Doesn't Chris lick no, that was the only reason why any of us tuned in to see Andy Collin lit up with Anderson Cooper who could barely handle a shot. We used to have a drunk Kathy Griffin with a lot of fun people, Don Lennon was loaded, dancing, it's fun. Give him one day a year to be assholes. Well, seen in their assholes, all year long. But you know, one day is not that big. But no, he cut it out. No more alcohol. So I'm watching this show, the sitcom story, you know, no show ever, ever says anything nice about rosemary. You guys know rosemary. I don't think all of you do. You might act like you do, but you don't. Those of you under 40, 45, probably have no clue. Rosemary was great on the Dick Van Dyke show. She was married to Maury Amsterdam on the show. Van Dyke was something you always want. And he'd walk in and trip over the sofa, a little cushion, and it got home and had his Martine. It was one of those shows, whatever. It was easy viewing, you hear the dogs? just as loud. But rosemary at 5 years old, she was offered a 7 year contract and became a radio star at NBC radio network. And then she made a bunch of films. At 5. Could you imagine what her me too stories were about? I mean, she's dead now, but could you imagine the stories she could tell you about running around desks and who was trying to nail her? This is back when women were secretaries and housewives on librarians. I also saw a bunch of stuff how great to watch Ed Asner as Lou grant on the Mary Tyler Moore show, saw a clip where he got all hot and bothered by Mary's friend, wrote a morgen star, remember Valerie Harper house I loved rhoda. Rona was like before Laverne on Laverne and Shirley. Before Laverne defazio, rona Morgan stern was the first girl on a sitcom that, as an Italian kid, or as a city kid, you'd go, I mean, I grew up a Long Island, but I still had a little bit of Brooklyn in me. You see that girl and you go, oh yeah, that's my cousins. That's our Friends. I know wrote a Morgan stern. Jewish or Italian same thing. Laverne de fazio, same thing. I didn't grow up with Cindy's. I grew up with Laverne's. And I grew up with rhoda's not Mary Tyler Moore's. And it was wonderful to see her because then you said, oh my God, there's a chance for all of us to get work. It's a lot similar, it's very similar to what black people felt when suddenly they thought to appear. There are people began to appear in sitcoms. You know, build caused by was huge and I spy and it made them go, oh my God, we can do this. One of our own is there. So I get that. But there's one part where Lou, Lou grant walks around rhoda as she walks into the newsroom. And he goes, you, you're different. I like you. Then he goes behind it, and he says, I like it from back here too. An old Valerie Harper can say is, I think he's about to kick my tie is what a different world. Thinking back when I was a kid, I had no idea that kind of talk bothered women. Because I saw my mother and my sisters laugh at those comments. So how could any of us think that what they were saying was improper? You know what I mean? And then Betty White, they showed Betty White. I know Betty White way older than me, but I can't explain it. I had a crush on him. I remember being a teenager. And thinking, you know what? When I never married, it would be great to be married to a woman like Betty White. Look at that dimple on her left cheek, you can hold a couple water in that dimple. She's so funny. She loves her men. I just felt like Betty's the best. And that was a kid. I was right.

Mall of America Locked Down After Shooting

"Breaking news developing right now in the mall of America is on lockdown due to a shooting. Now, I know some people would like to imagine that this is another active shooter situation with rifles so they can ban guns, but it seems like it's an isolated situation to be confirmed as an isolated situation according to the mall. There's a short video that they posted on Twitter that shows a man walking into the Nike store while shouting and a sound of three apparent gunshots can be heard. Danny, I don't know how this is probably not the person here. Danny raining 22 Minneapolis student was at the mall with friends when announcer came out. Okay, so I don't think that that was him. This probably was a witness. This person said that about 75 people were at the small room, they did not hear any gunshots fired, but saw people running away, the mall marked the 30th anniversary of his opening on August the 11th. And was placed on lockdown New Year's Eve last year when two people were shot during a fight. One man suffered a gunshot wound to the leg and another was grazed. So right now it's developing, but it appears to be a isolated situation.

"Or even more things. Just like this where i have nothing written. Not even bullet points. Where i just sit down in front of the mike and babble. I definitely be lying if i said. Twenty twenty didn't hurt me seeing that cycle of savings for my day job and then losing a job and seeing those savings. Go away whether it's due to a layoff or some kind of health emergency it's gotten old. It's funny when people talk about the movie up that beginning where everybody's like man. That's just so beautiful but so tragic. I mean that's almost my wife in me except were both still here. Fortunately every time the jar fills up it goes away if we wanted to have children health condition. I have ensures that we couldn't so many scenes in that beginning hit home but another aspect of that movie that hits home even though i'm not really fond of up his the thought that just sometimes everyday life has its own magic. While i was unemployed my wife. And i found all these new hiking trails. We came up with some cool ideas this year. In even though the whole thing with submitting a magic life actually hurt and why wouldn it. It seemed like this was going to be the year in now. It seems like i've gone through every option. And i'm coming to an end. If nothing happens with that book there are two more after it. And i'm not the kind of person who just bales on a project and goes to the next thing that might make some or might not. This is the story. I'm invested in so i'm going to write those other two novels no matter what maybe they get released here. Maybe they just end up in a drawer. I don't know. But every single time. I said i don't know about twenty twenty and even the future the two things that i'm sure about our that. My wife and i will always make it somehow. I mean it's it's just what we do. We've been doing that for twenty nine years and we always keep going in his. We've talked about twenty twenty one. Both of us have some good plans in for me. One of those things is the other thing. I can rely upon this show as i mentioned in the most recent behind the cut i plan to release eight episodes this year and by this year. I mean the november beginning of a new year for not about lumberjacks to november of twenty twenty one. But that still means six new episodes before thanksgiving next year.

"Hey it's christopher and it is six fifty four pm on new year's eve twenty twenty. I'm trying something totally new here. Just sitting down in front of the mike and talking about the year that was normally. I usually have some notes. About what i want to talk about. And obviously if i'm doing a story. I have the entire story printed out but tonight i just kind of wanted to babble wanted to kinda of challenge myself to see how quickly i could turn an episode around. I came up with this idea. Probably about ten minutes ago at grabbed an image for this intrigue. I got some water together. And now i'm sitting down and talking..
