"Who's who in well the people who don't report so there's gonna there's the cops who they're good obedient surfs and they're doing what they're told. They're getting the vaccination. They've reported that new jobs. That's crazy it's always going to happen. What's wait what's gonna happen. They're gonna they're just going to let all these cops fired. Well they're not going to be quote fired. There'll be placed in a non disciplinary. No pay status. They're going to be told. Hey you aren't being told you can't come to work. We're just not going to pay you if you show see basically so they're not gonna show up throwing a fusion center. Just still spy on your neighbors or something whatever happens. Because of that manpower issue that falls at the mayor's doorstep said the said the police department or their their union spokesman lightfoot. That's the mayor said at a news conference wednesday that the city was quote prepared. Adding that catanzaro was doing a patent disservice to as members every single day by encouraging resistance against the vaccines she said quote if you're not vaccinated you're playing with your life the life of your family the life of your colleagues and members of the public. She said according to the story here chicago like many other. Large cities is required that city employees get vaccinated against corona virus emphasizing that for public facing employees in particular like police officers and firefighters. Vaccinations protect not only the employees. But people from the community law enforcement officers across the country from san francisco to l. a. to denver have resisted vaccine mandates. And even here in keene at a mandate here in keene. But i had a keen police officer stop a few weeks ago. Bonnie and i were having dinner out on. We're outside because it was a nice day out actually was really nice today too but we were just sitting outside having dinner. At one of the tables on The yasuo jamaican place downtown. Keene comes Jason short the very same officer who was mindless automaton drone threatening people outside of our house wearing a trenchcoat during the raid. That happened here with the fbi salts on people. Yeah yeah very same guy. He was playing mister. Nice guy coming up talking about how much he agrees with us. And how. He's a scumbag. Tell him to shut up walkaway. no i played. I played along. Listen to what he had to say he was acting like. He's all into you. Know he likes to libertarians piece of garbage and he agreed you know he was. He was saying that when he was the police prosecutor he used to actually reduce all the marijuana arrest to a violation. Come just to get them out or compassionate tyrant yeah and but he. He did admit that he would do whatever it is that he was told to do. So he is just a completely agrees with you complete complete tyrant but although the same time agreeing he says he he agrees with us on the vaccination thing and you know blah blah blah so. There's a lot of cops that are against being forced to put something into their veins however they don't have any problem putting you in jail cell. If you decide that you wanna put something in your body that is against some list of things. Some bureaucrats wrote down on a piece of paper somewhere. They are idiots any or they're a danger to society. When i brought this point up to jason he He said oh well. Let's not compare apples and oranges. I can't hear the story anymore. I can't. I can't even thinking about these things believable anymore. I mean the hypocrisy of these people. It's like you said earlier. You know you. You don't know how to feel about this right like i don't know how to feel about it. I wanna say that. I don't think they should be forced to do this. But i wish they would wake the fuck and absent. Damn consistency is not their gain. No one's forced to do any live. Everyone makes her own choices. If you wanna get paid yet go ahead do that horrible thing but you know what's on your conscious now the said if they have more coming up here in moments our threes on the way. This is free talk live. Maybe losing forty fifty percents of their police forces over these vaccination mandates. That's those are scheduled to shake out within the next few days if not couple weeks. Apparently chicago's deadline is tomorrow. And so this weekend there may be upwards of half of the chicago cops who aren't going to report for duty because they are going to be a no pay Sort of probationary status. You wanna comment on that. You're welcome to with you tonight. It's ian matt in joe plus joe. You found a story about the marijuana. They call it here. Marijuana opportunity reinvestment and expunged act of twenty twenty one getting passed by a house committee in washington dc. Now there's not a lot that you know is very exciting coming out of dc but this might actually be worth talking about. So we'll get into that up here in a bit but going to your phone calls and thoughts. Plus hillary clinton getting heckled out in europe. Apparently we'll talk about that but Epicurious is on the line to start things out here. This hour calling us from manchester new hampshire. Go ahead epicurious. Yeah thanks for taking my call. is one of my go book. Just want to make a book recommendation for folks as a science fiction book. I read here a few years back. And it's got a very interesting theory We're connection between viruses. And he'd been evolution or evolution in general so in our covert the world. We're in now one thing about germs. I thought this would Kinda put people out of their comfort zones little bit and just give another perspective on viruses. it's a book called darwin's radio by Greg bear And i'm not sure. How much is based on fact. But it's pretty interesting. Theory of and in which the ideas that viruses the purpose of viruses in nature are. They're not. They're not bad or evil or even inherently destructive to any species but his theory is that Viruses are communication tool They're they're the purposes to communicate information between different species and also like from one generation of a species to another generation And the idea in the book a couple of characters and the scientists discover an interesting connection between A modern day flu like virus and a virus that they collected samples of from a A homo erectus by there was found by some archaeologists and they basically find out.

"Bengals finale over and the artist rise to fame is published on the twenty first of september by fancies lincoln and priced forty dollars or twenty five pounds and the two previous books in the trilogy. Multi mentioned who say published by francis lincoln. Starry night van gough at the asylum again price forty dollars and twenty five pounds and studio south van goal in providence which is twenty five dollars or eighteen pounds nine thousand nine and martin's adventures with van gough block appears on the honest paper dot com or the app every friday and finally. It's time for the episode work of the week. A stunning exhibition of counts made by hem. Franken tyler has just opened. The dodgers pitchy gallery in london. It reflects her experimental approach to the medium and the remarkable efforts. She went to to achieve comparable freshness and immediacy imprint to her sustained abstract paintings. A key collaborator in that process. Was kenneth tyler. The master print maker and spoke to ken about working with franken tulloch and in particular on the series of six huge prints tales of gingy made in nineteen. Ninety eight can be worked with helen. Franken tolerant a number of projects am. Can you tell me what it was like to work with both a great pleasure in difficult. Helen was a meticulous artists in way she worked. She was meticulous in the way she gave interviews and also ridiculous in a way she collaborated so that it was always crossing the ts and dotting. The is and Make sure that She got her way and had the time that she wanted on any project. So there are no negatives in In this collaboration of talk about sony positive the medium of woodcut. It seems to me was not an obvious. Choice for artist generation. Or am i wrong. Well i don't know i. I can't speak for knowing whether all the artists of their generation working would or not but it certainly was a a medium of choice. It was economical in many respects in. You could portable. You know it was that you wasn't clumsy. Didn't need big presses into got something that you want to make an impression from than the kind of pressure used very important order so hell. Helen was no stranger to would cuts and she was no stranger to the workshop. And all the techniques that we presented so this this was an easy transition from thinking about what you wanted to do and then getting the blocks and just doing it karbino and all and scratching and making muzzy in gaza them doing all the things she loved to do what she got a piece of wood and then the question approved me. The proof feed was the major objective in all projects. She needed To see all the nuances she could squeeze out of the image On on the wood and so this required lots of proofing. We added to that the fact that we're using handmade paper that we were making so he could adjust the color the thickness the absorption qualities. And all that so that there were many more things in the equation doing eastwood cuts and the noun was experienced. Bass is it. Is it right that if the tales again gee this particular body of work. I wanted to talk about she. Doing upwards of fifty proofs of each of these works. I tried not to count the cash. Register is god's yeah it was a trial and error project We started out knowing that we were not going to be able to make a a standard and then abide by that standard with every impression that we made so this gave us so liberty that we didn't have before a freedom but it also put a new responsibility on both the artist and the printers to be sure that what we were doing was approximately what we tried to do that. We were getting results. Bigger house an entire on air. You're you're really looking for the that moment. Wherein serendipity takes place and you've got the right the right moment on paper that you're looking for exactly that serendipity that you'll took you is extraordinary because of course within such a laborious rigorous process. She was consistently wanting an image. That was utterly fresh. Which of course is really difficult to achieve when so much is involved right. Well that's true except the chiefs very capable of manipulating the liquids on paper of miss. Was you know something was extremely gifted ap and so she could she could watch yasuo makes the inks and know exactly how they were going to be applied and she could figure out you know little nuances that would take place. It would be down franken's all their look and that was the whole question right from the beginning. We didn't make something that helen was going to be pleased with that was going to look like her signature work and she made paintings before the process right. So in effect they these like maquette in form of a painting which then got turned into a print. That was the reason why we took care of the wood texture. On on some of you mentioned jesse. And that's yuki she better and again to. You talked about this. Collaboration and it was very much the three of you. The studio is it very much is a process of to inferring between people with different expertise. Right that's correct. I refer to it as a team in this case was three people the team While four five when you got paper-makers makers we all collaborated. We all knew each other for quite some time. So this was a A party and again. There's this phrase born at once these. Helen liked to stretch for but it actually took three years to make details again. Three years of sort of knock totally constant but over the product developed over. Three years is that right well. One version is the press release in the other version has the reality. The press releases is just happened. Reality is it took a long time. But that's okay we. We liked Projects at took a long time. We gained a lot of knowledge from that kind of process. The slow one carefully recording everything and making sure that we we had some dialogue to continue from session to session because my new ellen was not working in the shop constantly she would come and visit in the visits for sometimes very brief and that was very very tough for us to deal with at times because we would meet her in the midst of proofing and she would not be. There should be on the telephone in the studio working on something else so it was. It was hard in the beginning with the first one minute after that. It got easier. Because i'm starting to get routine and elsewhere in the show at the dulles picciotto. There's this wonderful am working proof where she makes. Quite extensive notes and one of the instructions is but no schmaltz. Please tell me about that. I mean these these sort of notes that she makes which equipped eccentric way. Yeah but but that was held sway of just recorded her feelings at the moment and the collaboration and also to put it on a piece of paper that was from the collaboration making it even more archival more important and she liked these notation. She likes these archival pieces and we always thought over them They're going in your collection. My collection my collection going to the collection going to goltz she. She loved the concept of proofing. I think giving her drugs she would just love a pile of proofs At the end of the session and forget about trying to addition or lookalike moon..

"Maybe zucca plays significantly more free than he already does. And the problem is i don't even know if you can ratchet that power level up like that shit's already at eleven right like you make him play a little crazier. He probably just ends up stopping them even harder. It's you sui whose opponent right not faker. Maybe you're sui pulls out the The yasuo again and they play like diana aggregates jungle and they just hard camp. Uk that's how you do it say till ges uk game one. Just go all in and maybe you can do enough mental damage to the collage victory. I think that's the blueprint and if they can pull out a game and actually demonstrator that might be the biggest impact they have on. The entire playoffs is showing other teams how to beat. Eeg if they can find one thing that works really well even if they don't win the game but they get so far ahead at the fifteen or twenty minute mark. You know a better team could close from that. So is that what you do going forward. But we're probably spending more time on guitar. Toss in those spent on the rift. So let's talk about the other. Two teams are probably in a similar position because both immortals angled guardians at seventh and eighth place do not get the cushion of double elam. That's right if didn't toss loses. Once again they get to play. Probably immortals actually assure the adversely immortal instead. Yeah because digs six a seven so they get the worst of the teams above them in the actual elimination loser's bracket here immortals and golden guardians. We got stacked up here badger. I know you are roaring in ready to talk about immortal. This you want to bring home for me do that So mortals i think going into this have a little bit of mental in the lower bracket i mean they lost all three games this weekend and i may or may not have picked him to go three now but i mean i like i said earlier..

"The top inter you're trusting at your team Does find without you and you're saying that isn't happening so instead do the other thing joined the team fight. Have a numbers advantage. Forced the issue go play mouth fight. He can force the issue very easily as an aside depending on their champion a lot of times as a tank. You should be letting the midland or sideline in the later game. Yes a lot of midlanders are very good at that examples being like yona yasuo ozead a lot of champions the lane when they hit later game have difficulty team fighting and are really good at one v wanting now. That's not always going to be the case. Sometimes you're going to be like what we have a syndrome. She's not a good side. Lehner okay then you crush said you. Force the unfair fight before their toppling arrives now. They're top leader has to tv. And you may have won the fight by the time that channel completes when you have a mid lane or who can sideline you let that dude. Go get the farm that way. Ten minutes later you'll have a super farmed yasser yona. You're useful to your team and preventing them from dying. In the meantime someone matched the enemy top leaner and that has been taken care of. Plus that guy's probably the one who would be starting the dumb fights to get your team killed. It's a milliner thing It really is general. Nowadays i'm trashing. My own generally generally speaking. If i said it last time i said i want to repeat and make sure it's make sure i'm emphasizing this for the circumstance where you're midland goes inside lanes and you're still down in a four before you don't want to force the issue anymore. You want to take unfair fights in your favor. Don't take fair fights don't take coin. Flips take fights where this one guy steps to their eighty their various steps too far forward murder him. And hey now you have a forty three. Don't take fights that are all right. I got four mantle. Let's go guys. No no no no no no no no no and also on that. Same point of if you're midlanders sidelining and like happens on so acute. Your midlander has ignite if the enemy toppling has t p. up even if that various steps forward it could still end up as a four before fight because their top leader tallow parts send it might still under be advantage if you take out one of their main carries but safe. It's like the tank year juggler steps a little bit position. If you're not going to be able to blow them up before that teepee finishes then all of a sudden you're an unfair fight that you start learning how to important and it's the reason i mentioned it is because you mentioned that you're in bronze i find this is one of the most common things that goes wrong and bronze games where people take fights. They really shouldn't be a lot of the times when you have. The the midland are being the sideline her in the late game. Your job as the tank top becomes basically being the linebacker to use a football analogy. Your job is just to be the dude preventing them from getting to the rest of your team. It's a very defensive role. You're you're spending your c to peel their champions trying to dive on your carries. You're trying to. Disengage fights more than take fights or opportunistically counter engage it. And that's i think the most important thing is like crush said you're not looking to.

"I just don't feel like they're going to take a game and you will win. The the best of three us three did two zero gingy. Yeah but like. We predicted this before we had friday matches. Though i don't think it would have changed it for me. Because i don't think that what katy which is heart stomped their lanes and like hearts. Don't skirmishes you're going to be able to do against gingy and also think five kit if he plays again not gonna have as easy a time which is a pretty big problem. Actually if there's if there's a metro i'm looking towards that week. That can have opposite. Actually think weirdly it's nauseam versus hawa. Which like. I don't know like i don't feel like gingy out. I don't feel like it should be but that is one of those matches wire. It just seems like it'd be so per for how much completely demolished an auction and then still do everything else and not my playoffs. Oh my god he's done it. He's beginning to believe in the way. I'm not i'm not saying sankoh says like i've just. We've seen a lot of these upsets happen. Where teams can have a really good form on a specific day. I think kawhi is one of those teams while effing. Nauseam is currently our best team in the l. c. k. Over gingy no by large margin but by a margin. I i still. I can see you know. I mean there are holes in the drafting right. We saw some really wacko drafting yesterday. They face pick the jason yukon was available. That was pretty. They just didn't care about brown at all. I'm like that. Hey i investment. He like we just want a bit of a challenge. Please give us something so that we can have a decent game because they walked into everything right like lava picks lucien for what feels like the first time in the second round oil like the first time in like multiple wakes. He's not allowed to play that champion. He was way too good at. It was banned every single match. And we don't care play it wou- play yasuo into it. It'll be fine what's crazy about. It is normal and you see a draft like that with him has done like all the players like athen their ass off. They're like yeah. We're gonna lay this weird cop. Everybody looked extremely stressed out. Like okay we have to use also to salvage distract figure this out. I don't even think it was. It was nerves. A think i think fell. This mentioned is just. I dunno falls on our off a but no shame just looked like team were su simultaneously extremely humble and extremely like take everything series without there being pressure like they just see. We just want to be the best team afterwards. Docomo's again. I made so many mistakes. When a fetus one game and then like one nine and also have that one team fight on as real that makes me think like maybe he's just the best israel in the uk and like august. So many believe it. I was watching. I was like holy crap. I always yelling at the. Tv i mean at the same time rich had like one of the most incredibly clutch ultimate swear. He found two bits of wall with two different players. That somehow there. And i think it was also infernal riffs. It was even harder to find bits of wall in particular game but appealed really really well but dot com just everywhere he needed to be on my god. It was just incredible but they outplayed their way through that series..

"But now i like that. It is extremely coordinated You know being being the juggler on our team where it differs from sola q. I have to and it's also because we're in. I'm in i'm in silver. You know if. I'm if i'm playing solo q. I have to rely on myself to track. The enemy juggler. I have to rely on myself to basically track everyone. Oh you know. I don't see the support alistar in line. Did he back or is he roaming stuff like that. Where in the fives environment. You know. i've got my support yelling saying they're they're not turned out as raptors. You know. I don't have to be staring at my mini map the entire time to be checking wards even even though most of the time i am but it's still nice to have have other people that are trying to do it as well. You're more likely to catch it playing when all of you are in a voice call together setting for plays a lot better. I like the theory. Crafting of our drafts. I i know. I mentioned the the turn 'fiddlesticks earlier we haven't tried it yet. But that's something we wanna do. Yeah we just we can. We can play a lot of a lot of champions that we may not have the best win rates in solo q. On though if we get them into a comp that really works it's outstanding. Like bomo likes to play yasuo with diana. And i love to play diana jungle and if you look at my solo q. Win rate. I think it's like a forty percent win rate and solo q. So you you know someone that. And they're like. Oh his diana's probably not that good but if i'm playing it in a coordinated environment it's much better than playing solo keyword where you know someone might not follow up on your are your your midlander. Yasuko might not go and hit his multi-man alt- after you've gone in so there there's just it's it's a lot of small things Something that's actually made me curious to is i. I've noticed that you guys when you re watch your rods. 'cause you you and your team are pretty like vocal in the discord. I'm in your clash. Crude dish discord. I was thinking about this like if you turn in a dog that you adopted you will be more shame than if you left your wife and kids and never spoke to them again. Like your children people would somehow be like. I could see that. It's difficult but i'm telling you if you give up your dog. People will shame you for it'll be like worse than like eah murdered in the heat of battle or something. I don't know about leaving your kids. I think getting divorced. Absolutely you're right. So i if it's something like that. He destroys when the kids are involved but a divorce. Yeah i mean the divorce. Generally a mutual things. And it's not like the cat survives. I bet you a lot of people. You could find a way to keep your current dog or cat alive forever. People would pay a pretty penny for that agreed but the clone it. Get the hell out of here. So he says he would not go on the air. Wow that's a scandalous is not interesting. yeah bruce springsteen's clone and his dogs Someone needs to look into that. I'll hangs around his driveway creep much. Wait for bruce to back out one day and find out binoculars nj dot com all over this investigation. Yeah they haven't yet so let's go. I mean look at woody allen and michael jackson for christ sakes people look the other way on those two guys for how long you know if you're entertained by people. We tend to as a society. Forgive them we put them on such a pet. We don't want to think that they're bad. Peop- you're right. But i also think so. Let's say you and gina or wife or you and gina or your marijuana whoever it might be that letter lead say one of our wives or one of us ended up in another relationship. How any of us know what was going on inside the relationship in now you leave the kids. There is no excuse for that to leave your children right so that but so that you're telling me that you think that leaving whimsey or giving whimsey to a loving couple would be the same type of shame. Yes as jerry leaving. His two boys are me. The leaving submarine like you would similar similar. Shame the very similar and people love the dogs they do. Yeah i mean look at you know michael vick who went to prison yeah interesting yeah. Oh minute to process that. Nah nah it is. That's a good point. Yeah i Yeah i guess you couldn't do it so the but you want to do it. No no no definitely not but you said the only reason why you wouldn't is because of the shame if you weren't going to get shane would you do it. No i would not really yeah. I've made a commitment. i'm seeing it through. Okay and the reason why. I think i believe you. Yeah boomer isn't here today. And if he was. I know you'd be lying your ass off about it because he gives you that stare. I will kill you if you get that. He's not here today. I think you're telling the truth. You don't wanna be the other end of them do not. It's an unsettling situation. Let's go to vinnie and linden her. So it's going on any two things. Yeah the cloning thing. "Start this week over here and most beautiful place. On god's green earth in downtown santa monica with the l. c. s. aright where the grass is green and. The pain is over fifty. We are starting with our week. Five results here starting at the top of the table. We've got an interesting rundown for you in terms of standings and by interesting i mean this should come as absolutely zero surprise to anyone who's been falling for any amount of time here this year in first place cloud nine at ten and two tied for second we have. Tsm and one hundred thieves at eight and four fourth place as a three way. Tie to round out your playoff teams evil geniuses dignatories and team liquid all remain in control of their destiny immortals to entire games behind in seventh place. Fly quest down there at four and eight and eighth and tied for ninth place. We've got seal g and golden guardians. Who that's for the in terms of standings. Let's talk cloud nine top of the table. In how did they do this week. Nine had a banger of a weekend. I'm really really satisfied with how this team performed this weekend. Everyone is looking fantastic right now. Honestly perks has some absolutely popoff. Plays on yasuo in the blank. This weekend He was looking awesome blabber. Just absolutely runs train on one hundred thieves on olaf. He's still looking amazing. I honestly don't understand how this guy still getting. Olaf when champion pool is more like an ocean. I guess you know. It's kind of hard to ban out. Everyone right yeah and then you know they also had just a pretty good win vs golden guardians. This was a really really good week for c. Nine they displayed a a show of dominance that i think is important for them to show versus lower tier teams and upper tier teams like hundred thieves the takeaway from this weekend see nine looking fantastic. I'm happy with this team. And my favorite thing about this team this season so far is they have displayed the ability to play like everything they can play. All sorts of different team calms they can play all sorts of different styles and be super successful on it so lots to love from. Cnn radio man. I wonder what it's like to be a fan of a team. That's like the best in the region. Can you feel so good what it feels like to be yankees fan fan now recently. Hey man at least. I always tell myself no matter how bad things get. At least i'm not. Cgi got even fan. Just seal g actually entire org. at least you're as an entity the idea mostly. Yeah yeah oh yeah. I was just gonna say overall c nine great weekend moving on. Yeah and i think a key point here is they did go up against one. Hundred thieves created separation against a team. That's currently tied for second. They did in just such an incredible manner. It was like every single lane. One like blabber just played out of his mind perks actually styled on monday on the blank it was just such an awesome game. In addition to that there was actually a little not really an interview but ls during. I think it was a co starring. He was doing as well. Fudge seanang fudge came on just chatted back and forth with him a little bit and revealed that perks. Basically said yeah. It's just demonte. I could totally take leblanc into him and fucking popped off. I think he got a level. Three solo kill level three or level. Four to play a little vision. Game with perks had award kinda thwarted the whole thing and it cost him onto his life. Basically and the game like there's no way or less. Yeah that snowballed everything out of control so his brutal really really. Well played for nine showing that even if they were close in the standings. This matchup is just so nine favored. There's also been a lot of chatter specifically from people who are in the know that one hundred thieves has a major mental block against the nine. They absolutely hate playing against him. So little fun. Little tidbits for y'all there. All right seni- jumping down to. Let's talk about the two teams tied aid right now for second place. Tsm and hundred thieves. We'll start with the less fun. One which is of course hundred thieves. Who has kinda struggled a little bit throughout the course of this entire split. Not looking nearly as strong as i think we all would of hoped. Jack's talked me about their weekend. All right so other than the cloud nine game that we just touched on mcleod nine blew them out of the water. Hundred thieves mostly had a good weekend. They beat seattle g. They had a close call but they then recovered from their close call. Took control of the game back from seattle jian won the game Close calls is more of like they. Lucked out into a wake-up hopefully they don't make same kind of mistakes of leading finn. Just do ridiculous nar things when his team's losing miserably they literally flipped a to k gold lead into four k gold back. Yeah and flip within like eight minutes. Yeah it was stupid. That's nuts g. You can hear this hill shawn's voice because the game had it but from the perspective of hundred thieves like other than the one mistake that was such a huge swing the game. Well they played really well against dignatories capping the shit out of fate god and the rest of the team playing fine or or well depending on the player like demonte didn't have a great day in general. Don't they didn't have a great weekend in general. Let's be honest but then yeah the cloud nine game like to cut blown out in twenty four minutes. It was brutal you mentioned it was monte attempts to do a bush play like bait something to get away and that was the only thing like someday played without respect for fudge it all and got punished repeatedly for it like it was rough. It was really rough.

"Masks. It's going to be weird. It's going to be weird. But if there's a baseball game happening in front of me and i can drink a beer. We they need one of those a mask with like a retract when straw goes in and then it seals when it comes out goes in and it seals when it comes out you could just never take the straw out you could just cut a little hole. Keep the strong tire time. Keep it all sealed. Seal thing yeah. I don't know. I don't know man i talking about that is just is off putting because it's i know it's a long shot but i so badly wanted to happen. I mean i'm. I'm gonna put it on record right now. I give away of the seasons. Gotta be yankees face masks right. Probably i mean. I assume that they're going to give everybody one when they come in any way. Yeah i if that's a giveaway. That's some bullshit. The polite way of saying please wear mask. Well yeah this could be mandated. I'm sure it's not going to be. It's not going to be much of that. Is something that will be the no loitering policing of from the ushers went away in the new stadium and the new reconstruction of the stadium in the outfield. Everybody lawyers now. It's just like what you do. You don't sit in your seat for more than ten minutes. Whereas in the old yankee stadium you couldn't you would get moved along very quickly so this this will be the new policing mask mask on. Imagine no things you can get away with now also be interesting because obviously spring training happens in arizona and florida and the those states are a lot more lax than some of the states in north so the yankees could have fans in the stands at spring training and then no fans in the stands at opening day in new york. Yeah yeah assuming they open things up for. I think that might be a not even just a florida rule though that's going to be. Mlb's probably going to be talking about the fans in the stands in florida as well if they get to that by spring training. Like that's a yeah that's soon so it's it's a month. Yeah it's an away before. I know this because that's when the baby's due throwing around when pitchers and catchers report. So yeah it's going to be here before we know it right so i i have a difficult time for them making these mandates and not having mobile involved with with what's happening in spring training. Well we'll yasuo puig beyond on the field for the yankees because the annual yasuo peak to the yankees rumor has been Released mark san yesup is drawing interest for multiple teams red sox yankees astros marlins and orioles appear to have varying levels of interest. I feel like every year for the past three years. The yankees have been linked to yasser. Whether it's a tweet whether it's an article whether it's actually serious they might sign him whatever. He didn't play last year because remember atlanta signed him and then got like a day after they signed him so he had to basically bow out of the two thousand twenty season. I want to end this right now. I want no part of yasser on the yankees and it has nothing to do with his his his boisterous nece or his his flair or anything. Like that like that part of it. Yeah he's just not that good of a player for what the yankees you rocket arm. Great do you need a rocket. Arman redfield he is an average to below average defender. According to statcast he's got good exit. Velocity which is good but he doesn't walk a lot. He strikes out a decent amount. He's eight percent walk rate. Twenty one percent k rate. He's an average player. He doesn't suck. He's not great. He had a very quick rise with the dodgers. Back in two thousand fifteen two thousand and fourteen to it was like a long time ago. Historians nuts crazy historic getting into into the country the the kidnappings a wild story so but think about it from what the yankees need on the field and twenty twenty one. They don't need seo. They need a guy first of all. He's not a good defender he. He's a rightfielder. Has he been playing in different. Outfield positions single teams. Well i know once he got to cleveland. I believe he was stuck in right field. But i think he was fly floating around the dodgers towards the end of his. Tom and he wasn't good rightfielder. Floating around doesn't doesn't make you much of a better team. And the yankees. Don't need another another outfielder. That's you know of the same proto tight. Basically that that you're like stanton stanton strikes out. There's more production. Obviously a hell of a lot more production on. But he's just he. He's a problem when you're looking at the fit. So he plays right. Field stanton could play right field or left field. I guess but at the end of the day where would value. It's at the plate and there's no room for that. There's this he's not flexible. It doesn't fit at all. it doesn't find. Would you rather get four hundred plate appearances and twenty twenty one which is like a playing sixty percent of the time. Week or clint frazier. It's not even close right starting field. They should be. But i but even if he is the starting left fielder. I still expect the yankees. Bring back brett gardner and have him play a decent amount and there to be some sort of rotation. There's going to be injury. So i say four hundred plate appearances as as like a a ballpark yet. I mean there's no reason for. I think this is more of the fact that tweaks agent is now trevor. Bauer is agent. And we're going to put the yankees in every single conversation because that's good for us business. Yep and so. I don't expect the yankees to sign yasser peak but i can't wait next holding see now. Is he thirty three thirty. I mean he's anywhere from thirty three to one hundred seven. But i mean he's not he's not a young guy either and he's he's already pretty much it is pekan and he has learned. He was born december seventh nineteen nineties. So he is thirty eight younger thought. Yeah and pull up his baseball reference page right now because i want to check when he did actually have that he started with the dodgers in two thousand thirteen and he finished second in rookie of the year. Voting fifteenth and mvp voting. He had a one fifty nine. Oh ps plus in his first season awesome probably actually should have won the rookie of the year. I'm going to look up. Who won the rookie of the year and the year and then two thousand fourteen. He played a full season. He got six hundred forty plate. Appearances finished nineteenth and mvp voting yet. Another great season hundred. Forty five opiates plus. And it's really kind of been downhill since then. He's had some good years. He's that some average years when you add up his two thousand nineteen he had a one. Oh nine oh. Ps plus that's nothing to sneeze at but but not a fit for the team at this point the way that the yankees have to construct this team. They have to do it. Smart in a way that's going to complement the players and the existing assets..

Winker's HR ends Dodger streak, Reds get 4-0 win over LA

"Less than twenty four hours after the dodgers. Shut out the red six nothing. The reds return the favor in shutout fashion to even the series at one game. Each in the reds can win this series on Sunday. When the two teams collide at one ten GAB Jesse Winker, lit up the second inning with a home run to center in that one. Swing the bat snap the dodgers opponents streak of twenty four straight scoreless innings Yasuo points to run single to center in the third inning provided insurance, but. The store the game today was read starter. Tyler Molly who secured his first victory of the season. His pitching line six innings. Four hits two walks five strikeouts. In most importantly, no runs is the IRA drop to three point five one in Mali is now one in five while the dodgers sorta Walker. Bueller he falls to four in one with his first loss of the season. Bueller? Also lasted six innings, but he got tagged for seven hits four runs, no walks seven strikeouts. And then there was that a Winker home run in his ERA Buehler's is at three point eight three four runs seven hits nowheres, five left on base for the reds, who improved to twenty one and twenty five. No run six hits one air nine left on base where the dodgers who fall to thirty and seventeen the reds may be in last place in the central but they're inching closer to five hundred in we. Keep getting sneak previews that the offense could be coming out of it. But like I said last night, and I repeat it again today and baseball takes you only as far as your next starting pitcher. Good pitching beats good hitting. We saw last night. We saw again today with Tyler Molly, and David Hernandez, a mere carrot in rice, sale
