"The news there were they were talking about. A black woman had stopped a police officer millan on somebody's neck and she's now getting i believe she was and she just now getting backing. You don't doing something like that yeah. They ruined her whole career. That lady right. Yeah yeah. I just i forgive me for not forget. Remember her name but disliked being able to see your story kind of remind me of that and you know we had blue Not a blue bloods black and blue earlier method of a story. You know like i'm just learning. How all these black actors are getting are being able to bring these stories to the camera to the license. You can see another side and we need to see more black women in law enforcement because you're black men a little you know but people usually. This is what. I learned living next door to a precinct. Most people in that neighborhood. They're not police officers in that neighborhood. So they don't care about the community because they go back to their own community and they want their own safe but when they come to these neighborhoods. They're they're seeing everything as a threat opposed to a life an social environment in community. They see everything as a possible danger but if they just go twenty minutes to their neighborhood they see a living environment they see. An ecosystem of life opposed to danger. Danger danger danger. So it's important that more people who look like us going to law enforcement. Because i don't know if you saw this but The the the cia or the fbi released a report. This was around Travis martin right. Laura my saying right around his time that more White supremacists and white supremacy groups were infiltrating law enforcement that that was their system. That was their plan that was their strategy. That if you are white. Supremacist the best thing to do for you. For the causes to get involved in law enforcement and they saw a nine hundred percent increase in white terrorist groups going into law enforcement and leading in being leaders in law enforcement. Because that decision it was effective. Right as you can see right yeah excellently a now. Let me ask you to about this. We're going into different with this brings out. What was the what would you say. It was the most challenging scene for you the most challenging scene for me. This is going to sound silly but the most challenging scene for me was when i had to interact with all the white male cops in. They're like keana felt. I know that feeling Here i am starring in a film and there's new body we shot at upstate. New york we shot in an actual precinct in the precinct is all white males in the precinct. So when we got to the to set. I wanna talk to the department. I was like. Wow you really stage this precinct. Well because it says blue lives matter trump trump and they were like no. We didn't stage it. We didn't do a single thing. I said wait roadway home. Ause swing it. Yeah we walking into a precinct as is that has not been staged in all of this propaganda and they were like yup so already in there being no other people of color or women of color on onset. No one that. I can just have a coffee with When he money wasn't there so it helped me. Because i felt like i didn't belong when i had to come and bring those concerns to them because they were looking at me like here comes the emotional black girl being dramatic and they were. You know. undermining my instincts So that was the most uncomfortable. Because i truly felt uncomfortable but it works. Ah fellow uncomfortable in a good way. Yeah because you can. You can definitely tell your character is moving through that. You know what i mean like you said being able to have that in real life and kind of transition where you didn't let that stop you as an actress and you kinda transformed it on a screen so we could use that right right so we can see that. Hey it's uncomfortable but there's somebody doing it and we need more people doing that. You know what i mean. It doesn't feel good but he was. Yeah komo ya march us Yes right yes you will. Because i feel like people just see the title and they don't they get listen you to go get us a try. Click on it. Go through it if you. I'm telling you not not only not if it's more than just being a horror thriller fan like if you're an actually eleven to because that's what got me looked into it. Yes go check it out. Looking back at the reaction to John Lennon's death 40 years ago today

"Today, the former Beatle John Lennon was killed in New York in an act of violence that shocked millions of his fans and then had been shot by a disturbed fan as he returned to his home the Dakota apartment building with his wife, Yoko Ono. Reporting live from the Dakota for BBC News at that time was Tom Brook 40. Years on Tom, who lives in New York, has been taking a very personal look back at his memories of that night and exploring Lenin's growing legacy today. Imagine where Snow heaven John Lennon's anthem Imagine is routinely performed by musicians and fans in Strawberry fields that section of New York Central Park dedicated to the former Beatles memory. Just across the street from the Dakota apartment building. 40 years ago, the Dakota was where John Lennon's life came to a sudden and horrific end. Millions of Americans first heard the news while watching Monday night football on the ABC network. Unspeakable tragedy. John Lennon, outside of his apartment building on the west side of New York City, shot twice in the back dead on arrival. It's half past six time for today. Good Good morning morning from from Brian Brian Redhead Redhead and and Libby Libby Purvis. Purvis. The The former former Beatle Beatle John John Lennon Lennon has has been been shot shot dead dead outside outside his his home home in in New New York York in in London. London. The The BBC's BBC's Today program was on the air, bringing first news of Lennon's death to British audiences. I had rushed to the Dakota found a public phone booth on West 72nd Street. Everyone around me. Lennon fans were crying soon I was on the air talking. Can you tell us exactly what happened. John Lennon was killed two hours ago. I got most of my information from talking to the literally hundreds of fans who are now congregating outside the Dakota building where they're going to hold on all night vigil, and it's a very weird scene indeed, because they're playing Lennon music. A lot of them are in tears and they're weeping on there, either stunned or they're hysterical. That seems like a long time ago and itwas over the years I've watched this journalist colleagues have covered the deaths of other pop culture figures, but none seem to bring forth the collective grief Witness with John Lennon. Celebrated New York photographer Bob Gruen was one of Lenin's friends. Well, the reaction to his death was worldwide. And it was such a shock. You know that he died, and then he died so violently. When all his life you've been talking about peace and trying to help others imagine peace. And here he was shot for that. But 40 years on the trauma has receded on John Lennon now has a new generation of fans some very young among them. 10 year old Yasha, Kigali's who I met in Strawberry Fields. I like the words and I like the music and I like the room and how it all goes together. I think that it's about something that is very important. Imagine novel the people today in these pandemic weary, conflict ridden times. Young musicians like Tom McKay, Hearn and Seattle really embrace Lenin's message. The fact that he emphasized love and peace and this idea of striving for something that doesn't currently exist. I still see that message is something that we need. Thinking about something that's beyond ourselves is just incredibly powerful. Not everything in relation to Lenin was wondrous. He could be mean and nasty, and he admitted that he abused women. None of this has really affected his legacy. If anything, his stature as a musician has grown since he died, it's still making an impact. As music journalist Jordan run talk explains. He has one of the truly great voices in rock history. And now you have artists like Liam Gallagher of Oasis and then modern bands like Tame Impala and cut worms who will get that very specific went and asked vocal sound because it's such a trademark. Hold someday join us. Today I live just four blocks from the Dakota. Sometimes I wander into strawberry fields. I think what I like most about Lenin was that he had an authentic voice. Not just musically. He did and said some stupid things, but he wasn't a fake something quite refreshing to ponder. In our age of endless posturing by politicians and celebrities. No problem.

"Diversity and awareness in the company. Now, I read over each of these little parts in the first of four initiatives and laughed my s off because. This is a gag. And it's so telling there's one part of it. I'm not gonna read the whole thing. You can literally go to she's Instagram is still there. One. Okay. So it says one talent hiring global and regional directors for diversity and inclusion the second thing is multicultural design scholarship program, which I liked which is the only thing that I liked and then a global learning diversity and inclusivity awareness program for all of their employees and then a global exchange program. So other than the scholarship program. The reason I laugh is this like why don't you have these things? All ready. Yeah. That's a really good question. Why don't y'all have this and really putting money back into the community or having events workshops training sessions. What the fuck ever anything where young designers of color can come in learns from Gucci Yasha have also been done head. She was founded been twenties. I think Gucci is a global company. You may not tell me all these years yelling never once thought. Maybe we should focus on diverse on diversity and inclusion and let me just re subtle. What this stuff says? Okay. So global and regional directors for a diversity inclusion Gucci's working to not only hire talented diverse candidates, but also create positions within the company whose sole responsibility would be to ensure the company reaches these standards. Why don't you have that? Don't make no sense. Okay. And then now the multicultural design scholarship program like you said, yes could have been and probably would have saved some coins at the end of the year. I don't know..

So she's going to go ahead and raise a hand cast eligible last had not. So with that. Ooh, that's twenty four to hit that'll hit. So you take. The second one misses entirely you say three points, right? Yes. Okay. It's pretty for real very good on the damage grapple count towards keeping rage up isn't an attack like. Movement to backup. Six basis back towards the ship. With Yasha, correct. Doing actually back to do that. And it's kind of looking at towards the demon. Raging onto the ship. And seeing the guards have got this under suggestions to off slightly. That's gonna finish them because go now, it's the buggers turn it is. Yes, the vulgar is going to use. It's a running leap to jump right on. Vera. Will it will leave? Three attacks one with its bite and to its fists, and they will all be reckless. Because it can do that. All right, go for it. It's still alive. It's still so this this is the first by. Eighteen plus seven twenty five to enroll them. Throwing shit. That's twelve points of piercing damage for the bike. She doesn't see on our constitution safe. Shift of the natural. She mistakes damage to make saves you can maintain suggestion. Gotcha. For the for the fist attack. Twenty-three to hit. It's one. That's a one five that's five points of bludgeoning damage. Yeah. That. All right. School. Come modus, isn't that high? So it's just a straight role in the d twenty. That's a sixteen to sixteen three hit. Shit six points of budgeting. Alrighty. Family natural ten just barely makes. It does not drop concentration. But it's looking a little roughed up and scared his shit runs down the stairs. And turns around and cheeses thing. Starts roughing up. Then it returns to its disappear this still peel, so that's fine. That's six rounds. Six rounds of. Well, that's okay. This little ever that could work. You'd have lost concentration on its days for the hour. But then once you lose concentration, you roll a d six to see how many more rounds stays. Thank you for that. All right. Is that end the is turned jester? Your. In the side cast guy self on yourself like like a pirate. Okay. And. Like a higher. Walk out and start shouting just shouting at guards nearby. Everyone. Never Travis this nervous. So plus iheart is fucking race right now. I'm not okay. That's eleven for Yasha Yasha fails twenty two points, a cold damage that's eleven points to do sys and not although none to you because you succeeded and you have a vision. So you take. How that works. How cool. That's a rose can do whenever you have to make a deck. Save against an effect take half damage if you succeed you take no damage if you fail you take half. Episode three my fanatical. I'm going to do the fanatical focus once per day. Nineteen plus case takes eleven however, everything in this this the next round is difficult terrain as there's now giant hailstones in sleet slipped all across the movement. Okay. Okay. That's gonna go ahead and end of your go. Now, it comes to Caleb. Okay. Over here on this there any crates early thing around on the dock that look lifted from catapult there are two chests off to the side if they looked like enough I will throw one up into the air. Oh, it of onto Kaz head. Okay. Yeah. Throw nice. Throwing one one of the tests chests. No, right. Going instead to cast expeditious retreat on myself, and at the same time changed the focus on my transmute stone to constitution buff. And that's it. And I'm going to jet back. Ninety eight. Feet. So you dark forward across the guards that are there watching this happened with the rest of the crude mistake, you just zipped past them. This blur flashlight entity all kind of pushed back from the impact. All right. That's vengeance. U-turn? Now's the guards the guards. Take david. Is looking real rough. He's going to go ahead and backup out of the out of the out of the middle of the sleep this way. He's looks of days trying to figure out what's going on. Where L I'm with you guys. Go running off the side of the flames or down. They're going to go ahead and get chase. Starting to worship here this here. They're not attacking, but they're coming out towards you and saying stop Stop stop. stop. Like shouting towards you guys to stop. The other the rest of the guards are gonna push forward and start making their way. Tripping up this direction and they're starting to their now catching up. Former going up towards Ford and one of them going back towards Caleb. And so they're starting to kind of gather, and they're putting up their hands like try and do not flee like, the they're not talking yet physicality is like we don't know what's happening. But don't you go anyway. That ends there. Go now ecus term. All right. Go ahead. A bonus actually is going to. Move underneath and around the rocks to decided he's going to pull around from the corner of hand crossbow and take a shot at deuces from behind. What's your what's your perception? Perception is eighteen eighteen okay. You do notice out of the corner of your eye just barely. So he's not hidden from you sneak attack. They ended toward binge on the. That is still twenty. Thirty three to me. Cocking on myself, can I which one cannot cast a liquid? I can do this. Seminal? You can catch myself. What does it say if reaction when you or creature you can see within thirty or creature? Oh, yeah. So no, no no channel divinity to prevent the critical is now a regular. So you take three points. It sticks in your shield and grinds inside an actually hits a little bit of the forearm. But you managed to deflect most of the impact in the bolt is kind of it's caught in the center there, mostly no damage to you. Cool. One of the guards and looks towards APIs actually with these guards turned kind of glance over and they're having this moment of not entirely certain which which side to looking at the the guards this all right that it's now the rest of the cruiser. Decide there. Over the side. There. On cross. Over here. Hi. Crows nuts. All right. So with that. Got some heavy crossbow action from this guy this guy. They..

"And then you build on that with with whatever you need to. And I watch him use these things in such a musical way and with such purpose. And so I think that as a string player that's something. I would like to be more versed in. Is that I have so much. I can call from my own technique and skill sets. But that is a another pallets that I want in my in my repertoire and my wheelhouse. So maybe that's something to strive for. But at the moment, I'm working with these software programs, and that's a pretty transportable rig. You know, you're talking just a laptop interface microphone some in-year monitors and so- composers, right? I commissioned a lot of music, and they write with me in minds and a lot of composers today are using Macs MS p which is a composition in and of itself. So let's say you write a piece of music for cellist. But then you're also writing a software patch, which is basically a visual, coding and mapping one thing to another and allows you to kind of specify and make very specifically the. Kind of like range and timing of the effects, or it can get very complicated. And then for someone like me who who is not trained in that software program. They've made it very easy by sending me this patch, which I integrate through Abelson, and I'm able to do the peace that way with live processing, so one of the pieces. I'm playing on this tour is by Yasha Narva sin called flash crash, and he has a really complicated setup. But it's it's easy for me. I just opened the project, and I plug in and I- trigger some things with my feet. I have a Midi controller with allow me to treat her affects advance the music, can there's a certain element to with live processing that allows for spontaneity and improvisation that I like a lot..

"Previous magin. They're speaking of the previous owner of this temple. The here. Why is she looking like, you know, she? What do you do? I wish to know what could just bucking said the award then. We are the warden right now. We've got two wardens. Guys are the war. Then. My this is what I'm estimating. I don't. I think anyone the war. I'm going to take a look I'm I think we have yet to meet the world. There's a strange moment as not kind of cold sensation your back year. Like, oh, that's kind of tickles. Begins to constrict, and you guys glance over and you watch not one of the vines kind of curled up around not. Tighten around. Feels like this. You take fifteen points of damage in our grapple Yasha. You are so right. The ground 'cause I'm next to Caleb. All right. Josh runs over to not. And with the go for you. Then swings on L vine. You got you. Hold point Bovine vying. wraps up around your body after that it's going to be a sixteen to hit. Kick it off and kinda pull away and you can now see this. This. Thick vine. That's kind of rising up was it as a kind of curls around almost almost like an its own right towards you other vines begin to thicken in the area around you, and you watch as the roots begin to turn the area into hard terrain to walk through like the floor of the forest seems to briefly come alive and these large too thick entangling vines one that's wrapped entirely round not constricting her.

"Eight eight. You go and grab and try and pull the unfortunately, the water and sediments in here is giving a slick surface to the floor in here. And as you pull your feet just keeps getting across the floor. You can't get any sort of purchases and you can't pull her out of it. Unfortunately, with them. Yeah. Advantage a role again. Got you. At. I've been really the wrong number of di- team. Okay. Pulling even on number of dive enrolling three d, six. This should have been four. Oh, well, I got an extra one point of damn. He that mind future seventeen will be enough. So as you're on the ground, you go ahead and take your sword Jamie into the stone and the siding use that. With your other hand, you get underneath bows larger arm wrench free from the creatures grasp. You're, you're still in the space a little bit. You're still in the space creature, but you've been pulled free from it. So you're still prone, but you are not currently welcomed by it. All right. That ends Yasha go wanna move. No, I'm gonna stay sh- players sort out of the wall and get ready for the next on a combat bringing stuff around VO you're up. Can I do like a cool the Mon click? Yeah, can go up to Armagh taxes. Randy Moss rode big-play ability all the way to Hall of Fame

"Randy moss is a, I first bottle hall of fame. My colleague here is very proud of him. He deserves it out of voter him in the first ballot hall of fame as well. But if we're going to use the criteria to keep te'o Al. How do we justify doing that for Randy moss who literally admitted he played when he wanted to. Te'o played heart all the time. There were times and Oakland. Randy moss admitted. He took off. Because he was frustrated, played hard in England played hard in Minnesota. Wasn't the case in Oakland. What about that. See. That kind of up and down mood econo- stuff has no place in voting when it comes to the hall of fame. Your level of production matters. For example, there are people who say, Chris Weber's a hall of Famer in the NBA look at his numbers. I would say to you is damn show a hall of fame if we talk and fat five. But we talk an MBA career yet a numbers might be, you know what? I remember. I remember ready for this new knowing cat. I remember how to basketball was a hot potato for him when they were in the Western Conference finals against the Lakers and he couldn't give that ball up to Mike Bibby soon enough. That's what I remember. Reggie Miller never went to an NBA finals, but dad brother always wanted to ball. That's not what I saw over Chris Webber. It's not what I do. Numbers watch Shoygu deserves. It still was short deserves. It. What he accomplished in college Shoygu deserves. That's too many moments. When the franchise face the star of the team on the NBA level, not college basketball, NPA level one, no parts that basketball and thank God. He had Mike Bibby and pages to yackobitz and to a lesser degree Vladivostok. I remember. Would the dog Christie's in the world. I remember. So those kind of things that I'm talking about. Got to be about production. It can't be about emotion. And that's why support te'o in that it eight say ESPN. It's inundate seven to nine, three, seven, seven, six thing I want to touch on real quick before the calls is this new NFL rule where you're getting penalized, teen, y'all penalty of for leading with your helmet. I got no problem with it. If you're talking about avoiding launching your head and being like a missile. But I saw the the the penalty call last night by fichus were guys extending the on and trying to lead in it with their shoulder, but ended up their head. You know, the the head ended up touching the body. I something you know what the problem with that is, do y'all know that the hit the Anthony ball put on my man, Aaron Rodgers last year? Do you know that would be a penalty? That is utterly ridiculous. There is nothing illegal or de legitimate about that hit. That is preposterous. Absolutely. No place for it. And I'm here to tell you. Here. The biggest reason why Yasha hate this rule. It's going to delay the game more. Gonna late, the late the game more. As if we don't have enough time spent with the game being delayed because all of these damn penalties. Understanding trying to make the game safer, but dammit, there's a risk that comes with it either planet or you're not. I think the NFL's got this wrong. Aides say he has been seven to nine, three, seven, seven, six to the phones. We go trae you live, Stephen, what's going on with your even. Good. Thank you..

"Our live show are delightful really fun live show stolen we celebrated we don't celebrate the fifties anymore we lay we still the one delibrate the forty nine in the ninety nine and that's it you don't make it to the next one is true of course i talked a lot about while of so much then i could decide one or two two is the better game i think mechanically and sort of like deep dive into wile of that series but one like so firmly established my love of that world in those characters and what games could be at that time for a young me that just open me up to like oh wow these are games like i've talked about how when i first got the game on christmas i put it in watch the opening cut teen was so florida i just kept hitting reset to watch it over and so this is what a game can do cut scene but it was so strange and then he appears on a platform that has a disney princess in like stained glass on it and i was just so confused and so an armored with it as a kid who grew up on disney that it has sort of cemented my love of our jobs but also just that series of my obsessive nature knowing every little thing about it or try to moving on though ps p yasha but those of us who did on espn maybe played games later on i not i understand not everyone owned a psp pie didn't own a ps fee but my dad's cousin came from visit ojo ones from denver and he had a ps but he's not a huge gamer but for some reason he owned one and he had star wars battlefront two specifically for the psp nyah prefer the playstation two xbox original version of of battlefront two but i think i don't know it's just the one game i ever played on espn and it was like it was like a light version of the full game but it was still like you still have the cool modes in there and whatnot so that'll from tuesday guy game i played that one a lot in for the noble version for a mobile version of that franchise i really played that a lot new that and nba those are big to ps bdo in addition to i'm just gonna say very quickly birth by sleep kingdom hearts of course have to be on brand plug plug it's a it's a great were you lugging on chime in for the kingdom hearts and no toenails podcast this i'm watching that one i've just one by there being no tonos no i think it's one of the best non numbered entries in the franchise and introduced a lot of really important cool characters and then they went and did terrible things to aqua now she's evil we'll get to that at another point when they on tina what's your favorite i did own a psp but i didn't play it that much i don't think anyone really out mine is like no i mean i have and you can have memories of baseball players being shown specifically being like playing the ps at baseball games thought it was really weird marketing ploy absolutely clearly it worked yeah right so my currently collecting dust in my parents house right now but i did play burnout legends and like i feel like that's a good choice simply by the matter of fact that burnt out is a good series of that one still a lot of tracks from from previous titles so it fits that matt that's what i'm going for egli exactly tom i gotta i gotta ps pse secondhand from a friend who is selling it after the vita had already come out like it was many many years after the psp and i played the heck at a pat upon you had a call drumming yeah that game is so like i'm not even a fan of rhythm games that game is so my style aesthetically in gameplay wise and theme just like how chipper and silly it is but also like a little bit creepy and dark to.
