"And Dave Johnson. It's another victory Monday in D.C.. They don't come often. Well, they have come to the last two Mondays, or we had to come after a Thursday, which was a victory Friday. But anyway, you get the point. And hey, the point is they won 23 21. And the point is they did it with Taylor heinicke at quarterback. And the way he plays a terrible start, starting one of 7, 14 yards interception. Yeah, the pick 6, a fumble, but he stayed with it because you know what he plays every game like it's the last. Absolutely. Again, two years ago I was out of the league. So every time I go out in that field, it's an opportunity for me to go play and play against my last time because you never know. Just never know. So I'm just glad we got there and cut that one today. And his teammates sense that energy like Terry mclaurin. We have to give our receivers chance to make plays from the extend plays with his legs, get first downs, the energy he brings to our sideline. I think it's huge and we're very fortunate to have him on our team and we're going to keep trying to do all that we can to support him. Yeah, so he doesn't get rattled, even though he might struggle at the beginning, but finish strong. 20 or 33 for a couple of touchdowns, including a 37 yard strike, the terror McLaren. So it is a two game winning streak. Raven's probably exhaling right now as they escape with a 23 21 of the browns. I watched 7 hours of hoops last night. One thing I didn't watch was Yankees Astros. And I'm kind of pretending this series has been happening. I have no idea what to do. From a rooting standpoint, because obviously I hate the Yankees more than life itself. And I never want them to have happiness. And I never want them to succeed. I never want their fans to feel good ever about baseball. So there's that. Any of the Astros who freaking cheated and feels like they got, I don't know, one tenth of the shit you normally get when you are cheaters, so I kind of like the thought of them just not winning another World Series with this core and then the one that they got was like the asterisk. You guys cheated. So I was trying to figure out what I wanted to root for in this scenario. And I think this is where I landed, but I still really don't want to watch. I don't want to bet on this. I don't want to feel like I'm leaning either way. But I think the best case scenario for a Red Sox fan. The Yankees beat the Astros in the ALCS, which again, I can't root for. I can't ever refer

I am now 6 an hour in our best bet segment with Sal if they're picking the jets last week, Sal took a loss last week with the Dallas Cowboys. So he's down three and three. Sal did give me a best bet for this week. He's going with the packers minus four and a half against the commanders. I'm going to go with the Patriots -8 against the bears. I think Justin Fields versus a Bill Belichick defense. Will be very, very problematic for Chicago. So patriots -8 over the bears is my best bet. "The Cleveland Indians are one of the most rooted four teams underdogs teams in sports history. Once the cubs won, there's little teams like the Lions and the Cleveland Indians history is about losing it, they made movies about it a series of movies about Cleveland baseball frames. Major league is such a good movie. So as much as it's good for baseball for the Yankees to be in it, there will be wouldn't be special if somehow The Guardian slash Cleveland Indians guidance the World Series. It's one of the last great sports stories that's still out there now that the cubs have won. I still just want the Astros to lose. I still hate the Astros for cheating. How does that make you feel fritzy? I can totally appreciate understand that, but it was 5 years ago and they've proven that they're a great team. That was 5 years ago. 2000 17, right? 5 years ago. Wow. Do you still like, when I say that they're cheaters and I hate them? Does that hurt you? Not really. I'm sure they have finagled some things in this proof of whatever they were doing in banging trash cans and everything. No, they were doing it. But it's not like in 2017, they were incredible and years before and after that, they were awful or mediocre. They've been proving before, during and after that, every bit as good as the 2017 season. You know, I guess no matter who wins guardians Yankees, I'll be, I can be happy about that. If it's Yankees, I'll go with Marvin and be like, okay, it'll be a better topic. Yankees Astros, whatever. If it's guardians, I'll just be so happy from the people for Cleveland. So happy, Pauly. The 2016 Astros missed the playoffs. The next year when they reportedly were cheating, they won the World Series. It was a pretty big difference. But what have they done since then? They've been very good. They're always 90, hundred wins. Yeah. Everybody's waiting for that big drop after 2017, so they got to wait at least a 6th year for that to happen. I will watch Broncos chargers and I will beg and plead for the Broncos to be watchable. Do you feel like I feel like a lot of people are rooting against Russell Wilson? Why don't people like him? It doesn't make sense. Yeah. Wait, before we do a parent corner, Sal. Yeah. That's a step on you against all odds podcasts, but Astros minus two 25 against the Mariners. Who do you like? I think it's a little high, but the Astros, the Mariners are like 24 and two in one run game. So we never know what to do with that stat, right? Does that mean they're a good team? Or does that mean they're full of shit? Or they're well coached or what, but I'm gonna say Astros won that. Yeah, I mean, the same thing. Why would you go against the Astros? I think that line. Seattle. Seattle's lineup's not that great, despite the ten runs. Toronto's bullpen was garbage dead. Yankees guardians, I like the Yankees. You guardians team. Yeah, they're like 25 and 6 this month over the last like 31 32 games. I like that team. Well, I hope you're right. I certainly would have bet on the Yankees. Well, you know the national league bars. So we got braves minus one 86 against the Phillies. Yeah, they kind of just have their number. I would go braves. No upsets in the national league for me. Dodgers over Padres and braves. Dodgers minus two 20. Yeah. They own the Padres. Dodgers Padres, everyone's trying to get that going as a rivalry. And it just couldn't get going. And then tatis goes out for a games. Yeah. "They could be a seller. So maybe they'll be a buyer. The Red Sox. I don't think they're going to be a big buyer, but they could be because certainly there's still in the race could definitely see that the White Sox could see them as a buyer. There's certainly in the race, not that they played well, but in that division, could end up winning the division. Never know. The twins and our team that we're talking about very much could see them as a surprise in the past. They surprised getting Correa. They definitely need pitching and, you know, we talked about St. Louis and Milwaukee. St. Louis needs pitching more than hitting. So they got to they got to go out and get some starting pitching. I don't think there's any question where they get soda or not. They got to get a starting pitcher. Milwaukee is going to add a hitter some way, somehow, you know they're going to do it. You know, you mentioned pitching. And at the trade deadline, that's usually what everybody's after, arms, arms, arms. There are not a lot of arms that I'm seeing on this market right now. All these name is Castile, possibly montas over at with Oakland, but really, are there any arms out there that are going to be impactful arms or their bullpen arms that are going to be available that are going to be massively impactful. This seems like almost opposite year with this trade deadline that there's so many bats available, but not enough arms. Yeah, it's a real seller's market when it comes to starting pitchers. So Castillo's going to be a huge overpay since then he's got to figure out what to do there. We've seen the Dodgers Yankees Astros connected. They're going to be a lot of teams connected to Castillo. I mean, I could see the twins. It's tough to see the Cardinals, the reds and the Cardinals making a deal. Probably unlikely they don't really like each other in the same division as well, montas probably will get traded. He couldn't turn back. It's going to have to throw another probably good start to really get what they want for him, but it's a seller's market, generally you're going to get a lot if you're selling a pitcher. It Boston becomes a seller of all the other great lately. We know he's got playoff pedigree. He should bring back a lot. We'll see about Zach. Please ask somebody like that with the guardians. You never know with them. We'll see. You know, his name has been floated out there a bit, so I don't know, but not a ton of absolutely right Cody. Well, on top of that, there are also teams that we've mentioned. We mentioned about every team that might be buyers or sellers so far today. And we did mention this team at the top of the show. And they've been in my opinion the most frustrating team in Major League Baseball. They're a team that's only a few games out of it. And when I say out of it, I mean, there are only a few games. They're four games out of first place. They're three and a half out of a wild card spot. And they look like they should be buyers, especially with their incredibly favorable schedule coming forward in the second half. And of course, I'm talking about this Chicago White Sox. On paper, this team should be up ten games on their division. But actuality, they've been quite frankly bad. They've been a tale of two cities. They've been either a team that beats up on a team or they get beat up on and there seems to be no in between. What does this team need to be after at this trade deadline, if anything? Yeah, I mean, I think they need a left handed bat, certainly could use starting pitcher. They were going to be looking at ditching. I do think they're a buyer. They get that favorable schedule that you talked about. They're in a very, very weak division overall. I mean, you and I talked early before the season and we thought this was one of the, if not the most prohibitive favor to win a division of any team. So I mean, it's certainly been a very disappointing first half just like it has with San Francisco and Boston. This one seems even more disappointing considering the division they're in, but you know, it's going to, I'm not even sure what they would sell if they do sell, but you know, I do think there are buyer, you know, most of their good young players are at the major league level already. So naturally they have a lot of buying power, but you know, I'm with you, they're going to buy and I would say left handed bat and pitching. Generally is what they need. And I can't stress it's not. When I say favorable schedule going forward, just listen to these games that they have left. They still have 8 more games against the guardians, 11 more games against the royals, ten more games against the tigers, 9 more games against the Minnesota Twins, 7 against Oakland, four against Colorado. I mean, this is a lot of games. They should be able to win and hopefully get one of those wildcard spots because I feel like if the White Sox don't win this year, they ain't winning for the next 5 to ten. You know, I kind of think they need to win that division if they're going to get in. And just the same. Yeah, I mean, it just looks like the probably be three teams from the east. And you would think Seattle does it. If Seattle doesn't do it this year, I mean, wow, that would be it's been two decades since they've been in the playoffs. We all predicted they'd be in the playoffs. They were disappointing, then they were really good. They came out of the break and 14 game winning strength than they would have been losing streak.

"NL east was last year. Like nobody's really doing it. You look at the last ten games. The first place team is four 6. Minnesota's four and 6 in the last ten. White Sox are also four and 6 in the last tip. Cleveland 6 and four. So nobody is really like playing great baseball and as long as you leave a team like that, the White Sox without that kind of talent. Once they get healthy, if you don't pull away from them, you are going to run the risk of them snatching it from you just like we saw the braves do to the mets last year. And I think that's where they'll be at the end of the season. All right, well, we are roughly at the 50 game mark of the season and if the playoffs were to start right now. Here are your national league teams in the playoffs. And what do you think of this? Dodgers mets Padres, brewers, cardinals, giants, braves, Diamondbacks, Phillies, on the, what do you think of these teams, by the way, that have a shot? And I'm funny, I love that one team's in here because this one team is a fourth place team. But I've been telling everybody, please do not sleep. I know you're talking about the diving back to this. I mean, this team is good, man. They're really, really good and they just have the misfortune of being located in Phoenix, man. They are so good. And listen, I've always felt like Tori lavello ball clubs play hard for. Like no matter what their talent is, they always play hard. And so now this year, you got some young guys that have been infused in there. You got some guys who are gotten their feet wet now and we got a little more confidence. And they play, they play hard. And so they're in a lot of games. They're pitching staff. They're starting rotation has been really good this year. So again, like I said with the project, when you have good start in pigeon, right? And you're able to play defense. You're going to be in every ball game. Because they're not going to score a whole bunch of runs on you. And so that's why the Diamondbacks are a team to watch. But out of all these teams, the team I would least want to face and I'm not being a Homer is a Padres. I would hate to face them in a series, a playoff series because they can run out some fantastic pitching and they have this knack for getting the big hit when they need to. They're not going to make very many mistakes. And you know, Cody, come playoff time. The teams that win are the teams that make the fewest mistakes. It's not necessary. You're not going to have too many blowouts. So the teams that make the fewest mistakes have the best chance to advance. That's the Padres. That's why they're the scariest team on this list if you ask me. I agree with you on top of this. Here's the other thing. I think the Padres are what everyone thinks are. Yeah. The brewers are not bad. I can't stress this enough. The brewers are a good team because they got a great pitching staff. I think the Padres have the exact same pitching staff, only they can out hit the hell out of the brewers. And again, the Padres are a team that just kind of get ignored throughout baseball. Maybe it's because of proximity location or even distance to Los Angeles or something, but I feel like there are two teams that we just never hear enough about and it's the Padres and the rays and these are two teams that will be in the playoffs because we look over the American League side. Same exact thing. Yankees, Astros, Blue Jays raised twins, Red Sox. We didn't bring up the White Sox. We didn't bring up a few teams. What do you think, man? I mean, are there teams that were not mentioning that we should be mentioning in that? I mean, are you talking about on American League side? I'm assuming. I think the team that we always overlook and you just Mitch them is a Tampa race. Like they consistently get to this point and they do it under the radar because the unorthodox way they do it. Another team that's not getting a lot of noise, which is kind of unusual to me, is the Astros. I feel like, I feel like this team has reigned over the American League west. And I think because they've lost a superstar. It seems like every free agency for the last 5 years. We've gradually talked about them less and less and less. And now it's weird to say this team is 8 games up 8 and a half games up in American League west. And I feel like they're not being talked about at all. Okay. I'm going to put some of the blame on not necessarily you and me, Tony, but I'm talking about the whole media group as a whole. But you and me are definitely partially to blame because you and I have said this on this show many times. We truly thought that the Astros were not going to be winning this year. We truly thought this. All of us thought this was the Mariners turn, finally. We all thought the angels were gonna be somewhat real this year. And we all looked at Correa and Springer Bing gone. I mean, coal gone. Getting back Verlander at 40 after Tommy John surgery, we weren't expecting him to be Justin Verlander still. Listen, and also let's let's not, let's not pretend that we all didn't want them finally. I think it has a lot to do with it too. I mean, we really wanted it to happen. So we all tried so hard to will it into existence and unfortunately we can't have nice things. So the Astros are here to speak. If we can't have nice things. And you know, credit to dusty baker, credit to that, that Astros front office. I mean, they've patched it together. They're not only passed together. They basically replace some parts that you felt like were almost irreplaceable, right? I mean, Carlos Correa leaves for Minnesota. Then they all of a sudden have this kid at shortstop that is basically not only filling in the void. He's doing it quite well at the shortstop position at such a young age. And I guess I shouldn't be surprised by what we've seen from the Astros, but I mean, when you see a young kid like paying you come up and just, you know, make himself at home. And then you see Verlander who he does have a little bit of this Nolan Ryan to him, right? It just seems like no matter how old he gets, he'll still be able to pinpoint a heater and when he needs to get a little bit extra, he can go back into tank and grab it and find a 96, 97 for you. He's going to be a Hall of Famer when it's all said and then it helps to have guys like that on your roster. You know, can I ask you a question, Johnny? This is something this actually just kind of it's not on the rundown. It just kind of pops in my head. We're talking about dusty a little bit. I don't have a lot of regrets in my career. I mean, I have one or two little things here and there. Like I always think about 2016, I had the choice between signing between three teams and there was one that I wanted to sign with and I didn't sign with the cubs, but I wanted to. I ended up signing with the royals, which was not necessarily a bad decision. It was just not the right decision. My other regret was like, I never got a chance to go play in Japan. I really wanted to play in Japan. And my last regret, I always wanted to play for dusty baker. It was like a dream of mine to play for dusty. A combination of my mentor growing up was Reggie Smith, have his best friend was dusty. So I always thought playing for dusty would be like playing for Reggie. So it was just a dream of mine. And I'm jealous of every player on the Astros that gets this. I had a bunch of friends that played for dusty, and they have made it so that that's all, that's one of the only regrets I have is that I never got a chance to play for them because everybody you talk to that's played for them. Only has great things to say. He only seems to get the best out of his guys. And that's somebody you want to play for, right? That's somebody who gets it, who understands the everyday grind of it. And that can't be said for everybody. And that's the reality of it. And I think you're right. I mean, you had a great mentor in Reggie Smith. I mean, one of the hitting gurus best hitting grooves of all time, in my opinion. But him and dusty seem like they're cut from that same cloth. And yeah, no, no, I'm with you on that. I wish I could have had the chance to.

"I feel about how the game and the broadcast went. I think this is just me personally. I think there are just certain professions where you are way better off not being on Twitter and play by play person is the top of that list. Yeah. You know, it's funny. This is actually going to be like a negative story, which I don't mean to insult you while you're on my podcast because that would be rude. But in an indirect way, the mean tweets helped me, I remember one day you filled in for Joe, I'm trying to remember how it worked. Joe, it was a baseball playoffs. It was a game in Denver and I don't remember if Joe did the NFL and blew off the post. I think he did the NFL and blew off the postseason game. It was Yankees Astros. I think and you did it. And you did the Yankee ASTRO game and there were people on Twitter saying crushing Joe. And I was able to get an article out of that by like, look at these stupid people ripping Joe, who was doing the football game in Denver when it was actually you. So I don't want to bring up that people who are ripping you, but to me it summed up perfectly what Twitter is. Yes, exactly. I remember you doing and I was like, I remember thinking like, come on, Jimmy. Jimmy, come on, but it's the nature of the beast, right? And yeah, I mean, listen, it was more meant about to show you what Twitter is not a reflection on you. I know. And what it really was was about, I think people had such an irrational dislike of Joe that I never understood. And I thought that's really what it is. The grind of a baseball season and then you incorporate NFL. Do you feel do you ever feel like you're not listen I don't want to compare you to people who are digging ditches or but when you do local baseball, which is most local people there for like a 150 games, a 140 games, then you mix in the Fox baseball, then you're mixing in the Fox NFL. You ever feel like, okay, this is a lot, or you're good with it all. I mean, you are only 34, so there are kind of, of course, where you're tired and but it's so easy to smack yourself and be like, come on, man. You told me there's ten years ago that I'd be doing this that, oh my God, I have to go from doing the Dodger game Thursday to fly into New York for Yankees Red Sox Friday. Oh my God. Come on, snap out of it. So for me, it's so easy to quickly be like, I got it so good. I'm so thankful to be doing exactly what I've always dreamt of doing. Yeah, it gets to be a lot in the way of prep and the way it traveled. But it's pretty easy to get over that quickly. Yeah. Do you know, I don't mean to put you on the spot, but since I have it, I will ask you, do you know what's going on with the number two gig at Fox for the NFL? Has anyone said anything to you? It's between you and Adam Amin. Yeah, I guess he usually knows more than we do. That is true. He's in, man. I don't know. I don't know. I figure we'll know before too long, but I wish I could break something for it. I just don't know. Do you want that gig? Is it important for you to get that gig? Yeah, that would be awesome. We talked about it. I'm drawing that to any kind of numbers in terms of viewership. It's about the bigness of the event for me and those events are big. I would love it. Yeah, that number two role gets a playoff game in a lot of years, so that would be that would be huge. And I guess that analysts like who you'd work with is sort of up in the air because Greg Olsen is going to hold the seat warrant for Brady. So they need a number two guy until Tom retires, so who knows who you could work with if you get that case. You can't write the book yet because there's still chapters to write. And with the ultimate goal B2B, I mean, obviously Kevin burkhart has signed a long-term deal. But is the ultimate goal to be the number one NFL guy, number one baseball guy, and sort of do the Joe buck thing? It's interesting. Let's do the ten years ago thing. Had you asked me ten years ago, I would have said, I and this is just kind of how I am. I will consider myself. I wouldn't set this out loud, but in my head, I was thinking, if I'm not the number one at a network, I've failed. That's always kind of been my goal. And then I get the Dodger job. And that exceeded expectations and how much I've enjoyed it. And it's almost like, as I started to kind of come to terms with, I don't have to be one a, I got a wonderful young family to get three kids who I love and who love me and a wife. I can say the same about, got this Dodger job that spectacular. I'm doing big national events. If I don't get one a, fine. It's almost like I started to come around to that, and then the World Series thing happened. I was like, oh, okay, good deal. This is amazing. I think Kevin's going to be calling the Super Bowl Fox for as long as he wants it. Any of us a lot of course, right? But I'm so happy doing what I'm doing and whatever that may be for football and pair that with getting to do the dream gig a call in the World Series. I don't know. I don't know if that's cop out answer, but I'm just so happy doing what I'm going to be doing here. This is really going to put you on the spot. And if you say I'm not answering that, I won't be offended. I probably shouldn't ask it, but I'll just throw it out. Isn't she working fine? When the news breaks that Tom signs that deal. And Martian said three 75 Fox had not true. Are the fox people texting each other like, do you believe this shit look what's going on right here? Tom, Tom's coming in. I know, I know Aaron was very excited because I sent her an Android attacks and she was all pumped up, but what was the inside Fox reaction to Tom Brady coming to Fox? Yeah, I think it's probably like everybody. It's amazing to me that they kept it as quiet as they did. Nobody had it. That to me is the most underrated part of the story. You hit it on the head. Nothing. Ever stays a secret in this business ever. And the fact that they were able to announce that on that call without anyone breaking it, especially Martian, it was shocking. Yeah, and then it was like, oh, by the way, kind of released too, right? So yeah, to answer your question, I think we were all probably the same as everybody else because we had just as little true information as the rest of the public. So it broke and everybody's like, oh my God, so that explains why this has gone on as long as it has. It's wild to think about, you know, people get to focus on the money. I don't really care about the money. What I find fascinating is he's going to go to Fox, but we don't know when. And I could see Tom playing one year, I could see Tom playing three years. Neither one would surprise me. That's how I felt about it. I don't know. Yeah. Back to you. You know, I mentioned a few times already that you had 34. You've been with Fox those since 2014. So I mean, you really broke in so young, because you broke in so young. I mean, if you're at Fox 2014, 8 years ago, early 20s, do you think it was better to break in that way? It's so young and learn or did a lack of experience. I mean, you did have experience. I know you did a lot of minor league stuff. But was it, did it work out in terms of learning on the job? And this was the way to do it. And so, you know, you hear so many sort of playwrights everybody play people who toil for ten, 12, 15 years. Your experience is so different..

"Only did the Astros beat the Yankees multiple times for the you know, as you're inches away from a championship, but they beat them by cheating yes, which only edge to the acrimonious nature of the rivalry, which only intensifies the rival. Which is my point is what makes it infuriating because the Astros didn't need to cheat. They're good. No, I know they're good without God. Without cheating. Gurriel can mesh. I mean, they got players man place right now. They don't need to cheat. So like the fact that they did, that's why guys are pissed off. That's why it by former current Their peers in Major league baseball. That's why they're pissed off like it's one thing to cheat because you suck and you have to find a way to get like, level and gain a little bit of advantage. But when you're better than anybody anyways, and you're still cheating, Yeah, what the hell? But that's an interesting thought. As we kind of step away for the robbery for a moment, think about what you just said. Almost get the sense that our greatest cheaters are the ones who didn't need to cheat Roger Clemens. Alex Rodriguez. Yeah, maybe big Poppy. People will take issue with that. But he was on the Mitchell report. Big Papi, who I love but still. Yeah. Um, you know, I mean, Sandy, so so you can make the case. Maybe Sam. Certainly. Bonds did not have to. Maybe Sammy needed to because when he came up, he was a skinny white socket like he wasn't. He didn't have the profile that Iran had, you know, And those other guys, a lot of our greatest cheaters are greatest players are our greatest cheaters. Yeah. Greatest perpetrate interesting, and I don't know why. There's also a lot of guys with 2 13 were doing steroids as well that we kind of forget about. So Maybe it's not really the answer, but I don't know I It's an ego thing. I think it has to be maybe maybe an ego thing and the pursuit of truly being the best and that could be intoxicating in itself. But I'm serious like I really just think That people, wrote Lee Um Spit back and answer that they think sounds good. Best rivalries. Oh, wow. What can I say that everybody will? Yeah, that's a good one. Not too many people the bargain, say Yankees Astros, but they should be. But history matters to an extent simply because it crafts the current I'm like fam feel of the game. I agree with that. No, that's a fair fight, And I got to the the only challenge and I gotta look real quick because I don't know currently where they sit the only challenge Right now with what your statement is that the Yankees are about five games out of the wall card. 8.5 19. Boston lost yesterday. So they lost Africa almost the full game eight out of first place in the east of fourth. Fourth in the America. They're only a couple of games back in the wild card, and they are currently four. 4.5 games back in the wild card, but the Blue Jays, the Indians and the Mariners were all ahead of them. Yeah, they just they, They almost swept. They took two out of three from Seattle. They're better than the Indians, and it was the other team. I'm sorry, Mary Janes. I'm worried about the Blue Jays. Blue Jays. They can They can match the Blue Jays get an arm at the trade deadline. Yankees Yankees might not catch the Blue Jays. I'm not putting them aside yet the only other thing that concerns me, the Yankees And you bring this up and you brought this to my attention and I look at it all the time. Now is run differential. Yankees are one. It's ugly. One. Uh, And they've had some of them someone most. I know some of the most epic losses of my lifetime like I know that that sounds crazy, but like regular season implosions. I tweeted after the game Saturday night. That was one of my five favorite Yankee Games regular season was Gerrit Cole. Go 129th on 99 5 of his last six pitches, yelling at Aaron Boone. You're not blank and taking me out of this blanking game period, and he goes and he cased the last guy. Yep, There was great. They had bad to Brantley, where he finally got him to pop out the gardener that was 88 or nine pitch at bat. Brantly's is a professional hitters You'll find always makes contact to me. Cole coming off multiple, horrendous starts all the stuff with spin raid. Well, he's not cheating. Is this really Garrett Coal to shove it down his former teams throat against the team that you hate that that cheated, you know to to win a championship? That was one of my five favorite regular season games and by Yankee Lifetime, And then the next day was by far the worst loss of the season. In a season where there has been some, Mr Finally bad losses, so wrap it up with that. I mean, listen, you talk about rivalries in all this. It's It's obviously subjective. My thing. No, I do think that people Have lost sight a little bit like they don't modernize. They don't update like you up the update your stock portfolio? Yeah, you should. I mean, do you update your wardrobe? You should You know the update. Your oils got 10% life. Dude, you get it up to Yeah, you should eventually get it back to 100. You should. Well, I think you should also eventually update your rivalry list because it's fluid. I think I think from a player's standpoint what you're saying Dallas Washington. What does that do for anybody outside of the helmets right now and the colors? I should say? Absolutely. That's my point. Because they're not. They're not. They're not consistently good. But you listen to Fox. It's like the Super Bowl. Yeah, I hear you. That's all I'm saying. All right? And by the way, if I ran the network again, I'd do the same thing. I get it. I'm not taking a shot, but we've got to be smart enough to cut through that. All right, coming up so Baseball strike very quietly, not quite the same stages. The NBA are certainly the NFL draft but round one over the weekend rounds two through 10 today, that's not the story as much as it is about multiple to sports stars teak, maybe being prepared to put down the shoulder pads and gravitate toward baseball, which will be a very different trend. Going to talk about that. Next. Hickey and tyranny,.

"They're good ones, even though and I get it. I know what you're doing with the bills, Pets. Um, your forecasting forward, I get that. But here's the difference like I feel like when it comes to rivalries. People stopped independent thought long ago. And what I mean by that as well, You know this. You know this this this fancy voice, you know, cover. That's why did it coming up on fuck coming up on coming up on CBS. Like how many times do we play up the theatrics? Even Tiger Phil. We do that. It's not been a rivalry for years like we we try to make it a little more meteor and meaningful than it really is, and I get it because wrong nostalgic and we want even more than Then what meets the eye and something additional to latch up like 1/4 dimension. I get it, But to me, there's there's the historical rivalries which get force fed down our throats like packers bears. What the hell? This Packers bears me robbery. But if you listen to people Oh, what the hell is Raiders Chiefs? If you asked anybody. Hey, give me give me the 10 best rivalries in all the sports. I guarantee if they didn't say packers and bears, I think a lot of people would say Packers, bears and Raiders chiefs, but they're largely irrelevant. Historical. Exactly. So you have the historical element, which I think is lazy. And you also have the the regional aspect, which I believe is lazy, You know, coming up Yankees Mets. Well, all right. I mean, do you think the country really cares that much about or Dodgers angels like it sounds fancy, but without acrimony? That that is the key ingredient. There's two things that you need to have a real rivalry. I've got to be chasing something and you're in my way to get there. Okay. Now to be fair, It's also going to be somewhat equitable where I know I at least beat you. What like and the Astros always seemed to beat the Yankees, especially what it matters so maybe you can You can challenge that the depth of this rivalry with that notion, But you need acrimony. And when you have guys you know, controlling around the band out to they ripped his shirt off. I have no buzzer like there's nothing better than this right now. Now before you said Out excluding college, and I said, Well, I might even be able to incorporate that and I'm going to give you a shot. Now ask any any college football field. What's the best robbery in college football? Probably Alabama Auburn, But it depends on what part of the coming out, I think. Yeah, I wouldn't be Michigan, Ohio State. That's the choice that you could go The Red River rivalry. Oklahoma, Texas Texas O U R West Point We go Army. There's a lot of ways we could go in Bedlam is that's all you Ohio State. I mean. Oh, you and uh, Oklahoma State but missed. Again. Ohio State is the right answer. If it's not the right answer. It's the second answer, and it's really the right answer. Ohio State is one day Auburn. Well, Okay, well, you do some of the games. You've seen it up close. I get it. I'm not here. I love it. It's the SEC, which is better than the big 10. I'm not. I get it. Just Michigan's hasn't had a chance to win any of those games. But that's my point. Most people would say, Michigan, Ohio State and I'm here, but I think that's historical. But it is, but Is it really a rivalry? When one team won 17 of 19 times and the last two times they played, they put 100 and eight points on him, and it's water weight to 66. No, but we are conditioned to accept what networks and what people and what polls tell us the best Robert. You'll get more people saying Yankees Red Sox if we put a poll out there, then Yankees Astros Yankees Red Sox hasn't had heat for 5 to 10 years legitimate, Agree palpable Heat. And I believe that without like the acrimonious nature, then you throw Garrett Colt, the former Astro who's now on the eight like those are things you can't just replicate and conjure up with words. But isn't that temporary and again? That's okay. Everything's cyclical. If you're real about it, yeah, For sure. This one is this one is interesting Only because out to Vegas still a very good player. He's a great but he goes yard and walk off fashion downs. I mean, they were up seven to trust me. I watched everything executive is five. That all of a sudden 75 and he crushes a three run home run and it gets a shirt ripped off when he gets at home plate, And you know, the first thing I'm thinking about is where is this horrible tattoo? The he said. He said he was talking crap. You had it scrubbed. I mean, it really never was. A big tattoo is just a little tattoo. I think of his kid's name or something like that. But why? I think it was his wife's name or wife, whatever whatever it was, but it wasn't horrible. So why would you not want to have that shone? Especially when all training camp you're walking around without your shirt off without With your shirt off for all media to see. I mean, when you go back and look like look at the history of the tattoo excuse, which Carlos Correa said not at Jose LTV. But Carlos Correa said, Well, he really asked about. He has a bad tattoo. Mhm, who did not play by the way he's on leave paternity elites, but the point is like there was no bad tattoo. Absolutely a buzzer on he was cheating. Exactly what you only furthers my, You know it and Garen Judge knows it, and Gary Sanchez knows it. And that Chapman definitely knows it. And Chapman Certainly knows..

Don't let that part for Hef. Cali, Baby here had talent. Here we go. Grads. You're a title. That was unbelievable. First since the sixties, you know, Look, I hate penalty kicks the end games. It felt like every euro championship round. It had multiple penalty kicks to, uh, in the game, but the way that that one ended was was epic crazy, Really The way that it started was epic because Italy gave up a goal in two minutes and it felt like you know, England from that point on, just sat back and played. Offensive. It's the same in every sport BT If you played prevent, you're you're going to prevent yourself from winning, and that's hopefully what happened. They stopped attacking, and ultimately they got the equalizer. Italy dead in the 67th minute or so like whatever it was, and then and then it goes. The extra appeared, and that's when Italy just held form and England completely mismanaged themselves. Gareth Southgate, who was there managing as you can tell, I'm deep and I'm just happy. You don't want this guys get into the schematics. No, it just got frustrated. You can see we're like, all right, make a substitution. You've got to get some substitution. I understand their substitution for pill to kick for Marcus Rashford's and this guy Sanchez, both men man, Manchester United guys, but they were terrified because their forwards So if they get substituted, they have to go play full backs have to go play defense of defense right which they're not good at that. So I understand delay. But you're substituting in the 120th minute and then say, all right, go kick a penalty kick. What do you think it's going to happen? The last kid that kicked the penalty kid was 19 years old Pop didn't make you'll be ready for the next one. Got some experience. By the way, it's the first time they've made it, England. The euro championship finals. That's a That's a tough now. Ali if they would have lost to Denmark. Yes, that would have been you Don't get it wrong. Yes, there was a crusher in that stadium that backdrop that historic venue. Uh, Wimbley, of course. But get at least you got by Denmark and listen in, at least got I mean it's been since the late sixties since they won. Italy hasn't but Italy knows how to play Soccer. Italy's international squad has not lost in three years. My people to tell tell you very talented. Here's Here's Italy Love it. Here is the unfortunate kickback for England. Yeah, This is New York Times about the racism and denounced by the PM This is around New York Times, uh, on their instagram. Basically, it says that the quote is after the defeat England's black soccer players now remember all 33 stability kicks were black, Uh, British soccer player After England's defeat, Black soccer players face a racist outburst like about backlash, an outburst, so it's just It's just this is being handled poorly over there was the better team. At least they played better. The second half onward, certainly in the penalty kick stages, but it was epic. It was great to see. Actually, I just don't get it, though. You know that the the taunting the just the profiling just the The development of the human spirit. It's a game. Dude, I know it's a game. That means a lot. It's a game, right. We'll get to that a little bit more thoroughly later, but certainly wanted to give you a little shot. I know you're you're more into listen, if if England was playing say they're playing Denmark in the championship. I don't even know if that would have been possible. Like if you could read. You know the pool. There are the brackets that I would have flipped it on, you know, but the fact that Italy was playing I was certainly a little bit more best. That's why I love to be. But I don't watch it like you watch it. Yeah, I mean, so I wanted to give you a couple minutes off the top because you are you become a bit of a soccer head on the shows like neighborhood Shut down. A Bensonhurst was going crazy. I gotta be honest. I didn't even realize Bensonhurst was still fully Italian. It's got a good to see. There was the Condoleeza at the end of the bakeries. But still, I thought all those closed down my cousins used to live in. Bensonhurst, and they've been gone for 10 years. They had all these like local little Italy's Oh yeah, it'll save in San Francisco, San Francisco. The little early in New York is I mean, it's really That's about two square feet at this point has been shrunk down to the post. There were people down there celebrating and hang out to believe it. It was it was a it was an international event, even though it was a national event in in London. By the way, the most watched program in England since Princess Diana's funeral. Is that true or is it really surprised me when you really that's true? I mean, if you really think about it in totality What's what's so epic over there? That's going to dominate every Yeah, That's a good point. You know? 31 million viewers and and wow and and 30 30 30 years. Well less than 30. Not really. That was 30 years because it was right. When I started. It was 97. Wow, the counter stuff. We'll get going. It's Conrad Gregor. Coming up next segment. I watched the fight. I knew you were into it. If you could call it a fight. I know you were into it as well. The Yankee meltdown yesterday was was of it. I met the contrast from Saturday night. Yep. You and I were talking on the phone Saturday night. Not even like text message. We were so excited. I called you called me called us. We'll save that for the next segment. But the the flip the contrast in like there's just the emotional Pitch from Saturday to Sunday was I It just It really deprives you of any spirit that you have for the Yankees. I don't know how you can move forward now and say Well, here come the Yankees, you will step away from being able to say that we'll do that coming up a little later, but more so about I think the Yankees Astros is now the greatest robbery in all the sports. I honestly believe that you can try to tackle it. You're going to have your hands full because I'm not going to relent. Nothing else that I can see. Nothing could drop it. I'm going to attempt to put it that way. It couldn't get to that as well. Let's get to the hoops here out of the chute. You know, it's crazy last night. First of all, great job by the Bucks. 20 point Deep down. We needed to see that. The field completely changes the tone of the series changes. That's great. That's good for us odd game, though, because the start when the sons were up by six or eight points kind of resembled Game one, and we talked about this. On Friday, Game one was pounded inside eight and doing work and the mid range Jay's game to complete contrast with a hit 2020 threes. And last night, you know, Atan was going bonkers early. They could not shut off the valve in the middle. And then all of a sudden, you know, the sun's disintegrated. Devin Booker was horrendous. Chris Paul was what wasn't as good as he's been. Uh, and 18 had foul issues. And all of a sudden, some other bucks joined the party drew holiday. Good to see you. Yeah, shot 50% from three point range. He was terrific. You're right. And, more importantly, Yannis was terrific. What would he want points and 13 rebounds and six assists. The thing that we talked about he needed to do better, which was create for his teammates. He rose to the occasion. He was unstoppable. He wasn't the reason I I enjoyed this game Last night is ill goes back to two Fridays ago with Bt is giving me crap about the lack of star power in this NBA Finals, at least leading up to this NBA Finals. The one narrative that really start will pop if they even the series and again it's a two day break another to daybreak before Game four..

"Of going to the Hall of Fame, but he could be the first guy that can actually hear boos and his Hall of Fame speech. This is going to continue, even though there are only what five or six guys, they're still there. This is going to continue. They're gonna hear it everywhere for the rest of their careers. I mean, should should he even be in the consideration. We know that it was a cheating scandal. We we assume we don't know, right? I don't think we're gonna hold this against him like they will. It's just like it's just like big poppy, right? We don't know that he cheated. We know, but we know yeah, You know me so like, we don't know that he didn't know what pitch was coming, But we know we can so we can use our minds. We got a high percentage. We think that is a great chance that he knew what play was coming. And then he maybe had some type of device on him or some type of signaling, and they went too far as far as the competitive advantage, which tipped the scales that allowed them to win. The numbers of how they batted at home versus away is this is night and day. Right. So I feel like if you think that performance enhancing drugs is something one thing, what about knowing what pitch is coming, which is more important? Well to me, it's obviously you're much, but in a much better situation of known you just sit know stuff like that, like no, that's going up on the strike zone. You know, it's not gonna be there. You're not chasing any sliders load away and Altuve A. It's such a mixed bag because he's one of the guys that supposedly didn't want The help of the banging can. But was he wearing the buzzer? Exactly Have it under the Hurt didn't help. You have, like little battery charges of his nipples. Yeah, I'm not getting into his personal That aside, I do wonder with a guy like that. Considering what people think about him how much that's going to play into this moving forward because he is an amazing player, and you mentioned dusty earlier and as you would expect, so was over. So was bonds. Right. But buns thrived on it. Al, too. They did not look like somebody that thrived on the negative energy. But you know, no exact quantities it up. Yeah, because mine's bad guy. But you have to baby had the reputation by had that big, intimidating factor, right? That was his double part of his persona, Right? Don't talk to me Reporters Don't come to me when in the clubhouse l to bay was liked. Would be loved right over the beautiful story. All this was the all time losing his team in baseball. And, you know, Sports Illustrated have the the Article about they will win the championship man. They may God like Nostradamus, but all of a sudden this it's a little too back either. Dina hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain. Eltsova, you are the villain forever. Don't stop all that cute stuff on that Such a nice guy. I am humble pie. You're a cheater. You know Bonds one time I asked him for an interview. And instead of doing the interview, he explained for 20 minutes as to why he was doing the interview on at the end of it. I said, You know, you could have just done it by now. Right? It's like I know no matter you know the most interesting interview ever seen. You do what I thought, man. I'm not pushing paws on somebody. When I thought Charles Haley was gonna try and come over with a big and Joe's head slap when you press them. I was like, man. You know, this dude got mental problems. I'm gonna have to come over. I'll have to knock out one of my idols man from the sensei. His hands like a polar bear A tough call. My God, Listen, it's straight talk, and that's when we bring is brought to you by straight talk. Wireless. No contract. No compromise. Let's hit Orlando down in Georgia on this Yankees Astros situation. Orlando What's up, buddy? You're on Barton Hana like radio. Thank you so much. I missed the barn. I'm glad you know my probation officer. No If if you do the time you do the crime, and if Dusty Baker and get this team through the season five no major. He should be rewarded a Nobel Peace price. Thank you guys. You guys are awesome. Governor Appreciate it here. Here here is dusty after the game last night, And you're not kidding. You talk about the right temperament. This is pretty much yet. You know, there wasn't any Violence, You know, they convey can say whatever they want. And, uh, you know, it sounds like a packed house tonight, even though it wasn't And, uh, you know, we can't accept it Leave. We kind of expected that. You know, reception and so probably get more the same tomorrow. The next day she dusty, I think has changed his tune. We played yesterday. The Senate from back in early April. It is a tone of acceptance. At this point. We're just gonna have to continue to deal with this. I can't sit there and tell people that we've paid our penance already. They're going to decide that. You know what you know, The crazy part is right. This probably playing the Astros after the Yankees struggled, and then they had a couple of homecoming games against the Tigers and Orioles. This is the perfect opponent to get them out of their slump. Because you have a focus and an intensity right? Because it's still a lot of Yankees that were on that club that lost meanwhile, you only talk about five remaining Astros that are there right. So they like, man, What's all the hostility about? Like? I wasn't here. They wouldn't I didn't cheat. Don't matter. You get caught up in because loans out to base there He is the poster child for cheating. You gotta you gotta like Bregman, though. In the first inning, he hits a bomb and was mouthing around the bases with that, but But but But then who stepped up your favorite person? It wasn't attack on Giancarlo with the response Man that was good to see. Hope you were rolling tape. They have to watch it again later. See him come through in the clutch. Well, I just makes exciting cause I think somebody gets hit today. If the Yankees are down, and the Yankees are down big all if the Yankees are down, beg somebody's getting. Yeah, There's no question What I love is that Bregman is a habitual line stepper as well, Because it's not your roll..

Jail is in door is conforto around third scoring standing and standing at second wet. Three rug double is pita lonzo. Where a work in progress here. That was how we rose. Hi i'm howie. Rose mets round up holding off the phillies eight. Seven that alonzo shot into the cab. Prince three runs in heck of a night for the mets good series to as they get to five hundred at eleven and eleven. You also had the home run. That wasn't hit by. Reese hoskins a hit off of edwin diaz. Although at the top of the rail came back into play after review it was a double the mets. hang on for the winners alonzo's fun night overall. Everyone's so far up and we're really looking forward to Getting some rest tonight and take mount. Saint louis smart. I mean it's a great way. One they needed for shore. I don't know if that's a season defining game tonight but it's definitely a momentum a momentum shifter and i i think that we did get the ball rolling in a very positive direction. We've talked this morning about the extra by jonathan vr. And what he has done here. He was his manager. Luis rojo and base running what yard it was special To just to pay close attention and save you know that was going to happen in. Find it and going to take home plate meaning take home. Isn't that their job. It is because you know this they just kind of settle and they're good obviously pins skains settling yes and the announcer called it embarrassing was on the phillies. Yeah no i mean. The phillies announcer here was vr. When was the last time you ran like that. Around the bases. Two thousand nine hundred eighty. No last year is that's bad. Mommy so disaster. Nineteen play everyday. Yeah well he's back. At least with the mets right now and doing something and contributing the mets do go to saint louis tonight about d so he wasn't. He gave up the shot but he also had tightness in his back. Jerry's familiar did get the one out. Save as the mets. Were victorious. Philly as for the yankees. They blanked the tigers to nothing. Corey kluber turn back the clock. He was outstanding eight innings to it ball ten. I think this game like two hours. This game flew by one hours and fourteen minutes. Yeah in sterling was not unknown. Do with himself for the rest of the afternoon. One hundred th career win here are here is aaron boone's things really starting to improve yankees back to five hundred fourteen and fourteen. Not where we think we're going to get to we. We think we think we can still play much better baseball but You know some start. Things are starting to square up and here was kluber. Just happy to contribute. It felt good to go out there and execute for the most part from start to finish. I mean i think that's always the goal but it's not always smooth sailing so when you do have them you know it's it's fun to to go out there and and that kind of battery mate was kyle higashi oke. He had an rbi double. And brett gardner sacked fly Next up for the yanks the astros and we know what. That's all about bright gardner. We'll have a memory so we can all remember what had happened. And i think for us. The main thing is to play well against them to beat them you know. That's the that's the ultimate ultimate form of Get back at them. Very that was on the gartner clip. I was totally diffused yankees. Astros tomorrow not tonight also of note from yesterday the dodgers did beat the brewers sixteen four. They hit two grand slams in this game. Mike talk men of three or four. You realize the giants are seventeen and eleven. they beat the padres Seven to one in the as beat the orioles seven to five also the nationals. Top the marlins three to one nba last night knicks in. Houston they get another win. One thousand nine hundred ninety seven and it really. It seems like while they get a lot of different contributors. It's the top few there every night doing their thing. Julius randle thirty one points. Derrick rose twenty four off the bench. Rj barrett twenty-one here was randall. Msg says roses. Just killing. eric You know he brings a very Great dynamic ability to score his bill gates and others involved. And that's what's happened here was tibbs. Y has randall been so good three defensive for all those things all those things and in terms of the minutes he is. No concerns were his health. I'm not she can handle the workload. Because that's what he prepared himself for. And so The rape your body and so as they are headed to the playoffs as we know he will He'll be good to go nerlens. Noel did suffer a sprained ankle in this game. Not sure of his availability for tonight in memphis though i think they're getting alec burks back from the covert list. But we'll see they have won eleven of twelve and twelve fifteen tonight game two of a six game road trip as for the nets and bucks. Milwaukee wins one. Seventeen one fourteen You had kevin durant misfire on a game tying three at the buzzer. He had forty two but forty nine for janas blue. Yes he was. Twenty one of thirty six shooting. Here was mike budenholzer. Janas that is a special dude is available. A little bit of everything and That's about it has ever lucien. And we've al- assad tell he can get better and better. Which is you know what he wants to do. He certainly has here was durant. He was discussing a couple of different things. This just about being out there on going against janas after being out for so any game especially games. Come a superstar. The apart he was last night and he was held out the other night did they wouldn't let them play the back end of the back to back brooklyn remains in milwaukee for another game tomorrow. They trail philly by a half game for first place in the east. Sixers beat the spurs in overtime one. Thirteen one eleven on a tip. In by ben simmons couple of other things of note here Number one. i will give you this young joka. Oh yeah the It codeine dreaming If i can play codeine dream dreaming riemann. i had it on spotify. It's a dream okay. Take taking it's young joe. Being dream on five from the talk about he got kicked up from who defended by any losses. He was down in now to mcdonagh. The Dan Le Batard Show
MLB playoffs: What a Game 4 rainout means for the Yankees and Astros in the ALCS
"Six so your mother nature won the battle when it comes to Major League Baseball American League Championship Series no game four on Wednesday that was expected game four is going to happen on Thursday night eight o'clock eastern time on ESPN radio and ESPN at both managers had to speak on in terms of the benefits of a post poll game first AJ hands of the Houston Astros gives everybody if they often have an opportunity collectors cells before gas for changes are pitching a little bit how beneficial it is probably easier to answer after I see how guys perform and how the pitching plays out but I guess it's kind of a wait and see but I does solidify who we starting game for game five without having to go to a bowl game and Yankees manager when it comes to a player coming back that'll be another conversation even though he hasn't been able to go yet I gave you and then the potential option off the bench in the heating situation if we like something so I don't look at it as were entirely twenty four man right now I do believe we have as bad off the bench right now and whether a situation for that arises we'll see but will continue to evaluate the best smartly as we can move forward to do you some Giancarlo Stanton who believes will be another battle of the bands I firmly believe this whoever wins game four will win the ALCS I think the Yankees the win in six I'm not going to back up that prediction I think the day off could help both teams if you the ask George W. pitching if you the New York Yankees get a chance to maybe get a little mo Jo back at the having a bad slow down losing game two and game three either way took the toll the after the better team but I believe were wins game four win ALCS I think with that team is going to be the Yankees may because I picking the winner six I'm not going to back down from the production right after those in seven sticking with the Astros in seven I don't care who wins game four the is starting pitching to me is the key to any post season team surviving in advancing as a great Jim Bob on a one seven kind came the NC double a tournament surviving advancing in M. L. B. post season all about starting pitching to me and the the best rotation the best horses on the hill goes easily with the Astros and wears game seven in Houston if we get there that's it that's the kicker right there for me is if the if the giving gets to Houston and then for the Yankees in the E. if it goes seven that's their long relievers and when they become leverage real relievers when I never heard of that before tonight before you mention that four different stories I read today will leverage really quick what noted is is is is like mold management became part of it and yeah looks at this and everything in long re yeah leave our yeah or just read the verse they haven't had to use on and three more than three figurines all season now you can ask them to go for for the first time ever with everything on the line and you put that pressure on you also we about stress innings right in stressful pitches in well this is a little bit more stressful than they've had to go through the entire regular season so to me it's all about the starting lineup Yankee fans they don't want to hear it but great he has not been good the post season but I got some guy even if you win game forty Riverland there in five then another duty may have to face call Gerrit Cole who is like the modern day version of sandy Koufax right now you've been unavailable since may so he scuffled by his standards with five walks in seven innings that's coupling is scuffling but the Yankees lineup will make you sick awful I don't believe the Yankees are intimidated or afraid of these guys now I agree with that as well then we don't have the Yankees getting in touch with their inner symbols cardinals and the national back like Houston Astros because the national thoroughly intimidated the Saint Louis cardinals that team was beat up on the feet of the metagame for even got started they had no chance of winning that game even they tried to make a comeback at the being now seven nothing I think the Yankees fully believe having a day off would be the perfect a mixer for them to get everything right because there's not a pitching staff that they don't believe that they can't handle no matter how terrific those guys are lander Reekie as well as call he's if it's in the Freddie Coleman Freddie if it's Simmons on ESPN radio Sirius XM channel eighty of the yanks are going to knock a who was sensational the start this series in game four but he doesn't go a third term through the line up because the analytic geeks say well when he goes through a third time in the line up they they're hitting three oh nine if the guys in a groove right you mean the mother figure out what he's tipping or what he's missing in that third time through you have as many brains watching all these stats and in every game figure it out but in this situation may have to knock a is it in a groove you leave him in there but they don't want to do it they haven't done it and now Freddie it's one that drives me nuts you know right you got this guy who's who's dealing through sex you probably because the numbers say so that that drives me insane the Astros don't do that even though there is number geeky is anybody maybe even more so than anyone out there right now to get involved with trying to steal secrets on the cardinals when they used to work for them all about **** now that'll to do holes what two hundred articles on again but AJ Hinch is one of those guys that's also eyeball if you're rolling man you're sticking but I'm a sticking with you so that's why I like it the Astros you no matter who wins who wins tonight I think that that that that night all this postponement favors distros because now you've got green key Enver lander both on regular rest and then you still have even have great he has gone up the skirt a couple times obviously the post season you've got overlander and coal Berlin under in coal you got to win two games I would put my money on those two over whatever the yanks so out in a leverage relievers and then you want to throw at the astronaut I look at it this way by the way we had read Ryan the present Houston Astros he joins earlier on Freddie if it's Simmons he knows exactly how good these Yankees team is and he knows this service is far from over you know I love it it's it's a great great route your current kicks back to fifteen we played in the wild card it obviously seventeen we win the World Series but what what a great seven game series the home team won one all the games and this year we we took four out of seven from home and you know we won three at home they won the first it was the final game of the season that that you know we ended up winning and here in New York and so all of these games get their nip and tuck it's a dog fight and just because we're out to one side does not mean that that this thing is over if it were a cruise control because that team their Yankee Stadium they're stacked we've got arms they've got power they've got great players all over the place cash did a great job with that club together and looking around and got a couple of stood on the bump and that we got you got you can swing it pretty good it was amazing that when the Yankees won game one everybody's like while they beat the daylights out of the Astros which they did in game one no doubt winning seven nothing the Astros win game two in game three the Astros are in control of this series of bacon all on a second control be three one to me yeah two one they're not in control of the service as I was yeah that me it if you're gonna use that tack with the out of being in control is saying that the Astros are in control my god Ian watching the MOB network watch ESPN and others forgot the baseball people on TV and was on radio all many **** how control is there's a two one you'd be amazed how many times I heard that today they got the point us okay I'm I'm not gonna be part of definition sandy with this kind of stupidity going out there get that one game in the series means you're in control no it doesn't I think this thing's going seven it's going to be epic then the only reason I like the strokes is because of what we read Ryan just mentioned there those two horses they've got on the hill Enver lander and cold at the Yankee still have to face what is your major league baseball you need this to go seven the NASA took care of business if you got a potential rivalry like this with the met in the playoffs two thousand fifteen two thousand seventeen and now two thousand nineteen you get a seven game series and now you have a cross country robbery so to speak was not these two teams in the same division or two teams on the same coast you got the big Ole boys in New York City and a good Ole country boys down Houston colliding in the series if you have that kind of heat that you can generate you could potentially have your latter day forty Niners cowboys or paid many versus Tom Brady because you got a big city I got a bigger city without a baseball city when it comes to Houston if his goal seven it could do Major League Baseball a world of good that they could have never imagined and never even had to beg borrow or steal if the Yankees Astros give us and Major League Baseball with the looking
