"Your host Alviti. Welcome back in the year Historic March on Washington job and Freedom. Where my uncle gated, iconic drink. We have a saying progress in many areas of the fight for civil rights and a foundation to criminal justice reform. But there is still work to be done towards equality for all And for me that includes the lives of the unborn as well. Uncle Hamid Okay, was a strong believer in freedom and equality, so everyone and he looked to a world that was not divided by gender or color. But his belief of the quality also extended to people of all ages increase as a man. One of two faith and a preacher at Ebenezer Baptist Church. He had deep roots and Christianity, which promoted his life along Nonviolence, teaching as a supporter of all life. I believe that it is important to share my own view when discussing the impact of my uncle's legacy. If we are to say that black lives matter, why is it that we do not put protection for those black lives that do not make it to term? It seems almost as if the lives of the unborn of any color are not extended the same consideration in this context. I must insist that all human lives that white male female young Oh, which or born and unborn mare again if black lives matter, and they do, then why is it that black women on more than five times as likely as a white one having abortion? Obviously the womb that brings forth Black life should matter. What about the babies in the women's wounds is to truly be in a world like the one that Dr Martin Luther King Jr envisioned that must be an understanding that we are all one blood one human rakes. I am an active pro life supporter and serve as a pastoral associate for priest for lie. I personally know of the struggle, grappling with the decision of whether or not to avoid a child, and before I became a born again Christian and found my way to God. I didn't make the decision to abort. While I live with that decision. The abortions and subsequent miscarriage have impacted my personal relationships with my Children and my former spouse. It's my recovery and healing from abortions have empowered me to be a voice for life. Joining me now is Father Frank Pallone, national director of Priest fertilized. And host of the popular and abortion that TV network. I had a civil rights for the unborn increased for life. Father, Frank and I have worked together since 1999. In fact, both the legacy and tensions of my late uncle Martin Luther King Jr had been part of our message. Father, Frank. It's been close to six decades since her dream speech. How can we apply this speech and the teachings of my uncle and a civil rights movement to the pro life movement welded to the eye? A dream speech, which continues to be an inspiration today, too, so many Americans and to us in what you always referred to as the civil rights movement of today, that is, the pro life movement is rooted in faith. And I have a dream speech. The work of your Uncle Marin. The work of the entire civil rights movement and pro life movement are rooted in faith. For one simple reason. The founding of this nation was rooted in faith. The Creed, which Martin Luther King Jr invoked in the I have a dream speech was a creed of are found. Nding fathers who were believers who understood that any government that they tried to set up could stand only when rooted in faith and morality. They made this explicit in your words are so true Father it was explicitly clear from the founding fathers that all human beings are created equal. And yet we still see ourselves working towards true justice for all realizing the dreams of my uncle spoke about right now we are truly at across Roads in America not only in the pro life movement but also in the fights the civil lots. We have crime increasing in cities across the country marches hauling for change with some goods resulting to violence. No peace to be heard or saying, How do you think the leg Reverend Dr Martin became junior? What Still about civil rights activism today? Dr King, Judging from his many writings and speeches would see First of all that there are people trying to build on his legacy he would recognize. The thirst for justice and equality, as it does manifest itself today in so many ways, But he would also repeat what he said in that great I have a dream speech that in our quest for justice and equality, we must never give way to bitterness or hatred. We must never use the tools of violence to bring an end to violence. And I'm sure he would notice today that there are too many instances ofthe groups not being willing to speak to one another to come to the table of negotiation because, remember, he said that the protests the civil disobedience that he's so endorsed until pardon were meant to bring the social tensions to the surface so that a negotiation could be forced could be could be brought about by those who might be unwilling. To participate in such an effort, and he would again point to the fact that you know, riots and tearing down statues and burning down buildings is not in any way, shape or form an acceptable tool of of bringing about any kind of justice. Hatred must not be a part of the dynamic here in trying to reach a better America. Within the current political climate. We hear so many varying opinions on justice and equality from riots and pro Test following the death of African American men and women to cause too defined or abolish the police. We have reached across load in the fight for civil rights and justice that many have gone so far as to call a race war here in America. It is vital in the continued mission to achieve civil rights that we appreciate all people, regardless of skin color. And not use it as a means for division or a question. Freedom, equality and justice can only be achieved together working side by side, Never blind to the color of our skin. Instead celebrating our ethnic diversity as the one blood one human race of acts 17 26. Our next guest is Ginger Howard. Together we call author of the book. We're Not Color Blind Ginger. You too, have a dream. In fact, your dream led us to write our book and to promote the message that we are all united. As you say all the time that wonderful scripture from acts that we are all made from one race, one blood, and so we all believe the saying and our skin color may be different, but we are to value each other's color. We're not color blind because we want to appreciate the colors and the differences in people's ethnicities. But ultimately we are one race in one bloody engine. With so many challenges being thrown into the path of peace. How can we work towards ensuring that the dream of All Americans becomes a reality. You and happily during this time that the conversation needs to be had with kindness and law, and we don't always have to agree on certain topics. But we can agree to disagree with a spirit of reconciliation. And that is your heart. And that is not hard. Our nation is not perfect. We were founded with all men and women. But ultimately the American dream is that all men are created equal and that we are all in doubt. Our creator. Certain inalienable rights and their life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness and each person no matter what color of your skin where you're born, what you have been through and gods as we are all created equal, And we want that opportunity for the American dream. And so I think that's one thing we can do is to teach our Children that America is not a bad place. Yes, we have sins in our past that I don't think we should erase the past. I think we learn from our history. Emily, a race are history. You may very much repeat it. So I think one of the things we need to do is do not try to our race. Our history. Talk about our history, Talk about the good and the bad and the ugly and teach our Children that I think we're not teaching our Children that America's had good place has let's say the morning continues. We take a look at the current state of the Civil life movement and what it will take for the J. Mo of Dr Margaret again, Junior to become a reality in this turbulent time with in American history, and we'll hear more. From my cousin, Bernice King about how she sees her father's.

"That they could always roll out and make it more difficult clearly i think it's important for us to be able to improve relations with russia but the fact that he has has had this fawning attitude toward mr putin has not said anything negative about him i think continues to say to me that he does have something to fear and something very serious too few believe russia has something on him i believe that the russians would would not they would opt for things to do if they believe that it was in their interests and the russians i think have had long experience with mr trump and may have things that they could expose all perhaps perhaps perhaps john brennan on msnbc earlier today meanwhile some tough worms words aimed at the president by former vice president joe biden he made his remarks on the campus of the university of miami part of an anti sexual assault campaign titled it's on us he said men have a responsibility to treat women with respect and then he said this about the president when a guy who ended up becoming our national leaders said i can grab a woman anywhere and she likes it and then said i made a mistake i did make a mistake but they asked me what i like to debate this gentleman i said no i said if we're in high school i'd take you behind the gym and beat the hell out of them i've been a lot of rock locker who's my whole life pretty damn good athlete any guy who talk that way was usually the fattest ugliest sob in the room things are starting to change things are starting to change thank god that's from former vice president joe biden his remarks courtesy of wsvn td in miami and they were posted on their website meanwhile the ex playboy model who claims that she had an affair with donald trump saying she wants to come forward has nothing to do with politics political reporting that the lawyer representing karen mcdougal says her clients decision about the alleged affair is about coming clean on the story to be clear to the american people at in a care mcdougal is not a republican you can read that story online at politico dot com abc news.
