I don't know what the fuck that happened. So far, they got two weeks or somebody in there. Yeah, but Joey janela spring break, another one I'm looking forward to. Speed ball versus the kingo, this dude's absolutely best at crazy. Saturday, you'll be doing effie's big gay brunch. If you listen to busted open radio on Sirius, where myself and Ryan mckinnell often fill in, but it opens during a party 12 to two. On Saturday, 12 to two, I think. Me, Big Mac, whole busted open crew dreamer, Henry, David. Bully ray, and I'll say bullies there? Yeah, bullies. They invited bully? These are Mickey James will be there at thunder rosa will be there. The whole crew, all of us will be there. That's Saturday. The WrestleMania Saturday. There's some other shit going on too. There's some DDT GCW shows, wrestle con is happening. It's kind of crazy because there's a lot of AW town that's going to be in town. Yeah. A lot of them. I know Renee paquette is going to be in town. She's going to be at WrestleTalk. Adam Cole is at WrestleTalk. Bakers at WrestleTalk. This is a very, it's going to be an invasion of sorts. This is going to be a friendly invasion because I fully expect what I've talked to a lot of people. They're going to be a while you may need to. Everybody's going to be all together. So it's going to be fun. It's the melting pot of pro wrestling. It's LA, and then Sunday's WrestleMania. We're going to do some stuff earlier in the day. I'm sure. Man, that's a weekend. Oh, we're going to be dead tired. Yeah, I'm going to be beat. And then good thing we get like a week off, I think. Yeah, a week reprieve before Ryan. And two weeks. Two weeks for Ryan and saying, I got some other things I'm working on, but yeah, WrestleMania weekend is just. I actually get back and I have to work, Christine. There are like 7 fights on the 8th. Makes no sense with box here, right? There's a core band Rodriguez's fighting. Is there a UFC car name? They dark that day. It is a pay per view. On the 8th? Miami. These motherfuckers don't stop. Yo. On a Sonia rematch. Yeah, this April, that's a Shakur, bam. There's a possible scam murder. Yeah, miles felt getting murdered. So yeah, no, we're in the ground running. Yeah, you're right. We got like two days of relaxing. We won't be out there for raw. No, you gotta get back. I'm literally, yeah. Sunday WrestleMania ends. My sleep schedule is already fucked, so my flight's at 5 30 in the morning. I get home and my daughter goes to school at 8 30. So I'll be as soon as I land, go get my daughter dressed and take her to school. I'm driving back. I might go to Disneyland on the way back. I won't have a day. I will absolutely not have it. Again, you go with kids, it's way more exhausting. When you just go as an adult, you just run around and be a no go ahead. A couple drinks. I got children. Yeah, right on a couple rides. It's free. So might as well go to Disneyland before coming back. So it's going to be one hell of a week. Looking forward to seeing everyone out there, again, recommendations. We're taking food recommendations. And that one guy who trashed LA food. Yeah. Was that kid on stage? Yeah. But what I really need is a brunch recommendation because I'm fucking cashing out. I am cashing out and don't give me don't give me a cheap brunch like don't try to save my running in with the briefcase. We gotta hurt kells pockets. It's amazing that the first bar mitzvah photos were actually real. Right. 'cause the man had like the nitro girls there. He had tons of WW, E stuff. It said, Maxwell versus John Cena. All this shit that comes up now and you're just like, wow, he's been a fan of pro wrestling. I guess since the Rosie O'Donnell show, he was on there doing opera, seeing opera and saying he's going to be a pro wrestler. And now he's the biggest second biggest heel in the business. So you look at it all came full circle. He wants to do a rebar mitzvah. I thought it was a great idea. Then the segment comes up, and they actually surprised me. That I didn't expect to go like this. I kind of expected it to be like The Rock's birthday celebration. Yeah, this is your life type thing. But no, it ends up. He keeps getting interrupted. And it looks like we're going towards a program with the four pillars of AEW, kind of breaking a fourth wall because that's always been a fan thing. No, Tony's mentioned it. Like Tony Khan's message to back in the beginning because they talked about jungle boy. I reiterate. It's always been a fan

"To remove him, so it's three. The three however you shake it, coming into me, 'cause it's always four against three, and you're not going to win that way. Kevin got to take him out. And whether it's all over to Sammy, Kevin saves him there and put solo on the shelf. Powerbomb, apron or something, which invokes a whole different emoji 'cause he took Sam Yao, with that. But it's still like, it's one of those things where he's like, he's out the way. It's just us two versus them too. Just Cody versus him. Let's get it. You know, I don't know how they're going to get there. It's a numbers game. They got a great thing with moving parts where it's not predictable, right? So it's like these next three weeks away, right? So that means we're 6 shows. And I kind of expect that final SmackDown to just be like, all the story will be told in that final SmackDown. And be like, all right, we gotta get this stare down or that beat down or whatever it is. But I'm so interested. I'm so interested in how is it Sammy and Kevin begrudgingly having to work together? And more Kevin than Sammy. Yeah. Again, Sami looks like try to find a family in the family like, no, you're not blood. But their family, but they can't trust each other. But this voice Sammy turned on Kevin, Kevin has turned on Sam. We know where this goes, and it's like, we can't trust each other. This has been a good build of WrestleMania for these feuds. And people are still like, oh, you know, if Kevin and Sammy win has gone, no, man. These stories are not over. So tonight, on SmackDown, Friday night. How does Roman, if you had to put out there, how does Roman react? To Jay coming back. I was going to welcome him back with open arms. It's Jay will be more interested in seeing how he reacts to Roman. I think Roman would be like he's going to side I am with the wise man. He's going to give him that same Sammy hug, where he looks at the camera over it and be like, I ain't fucking with you. You know, I think Roman will be like welcome home. And without saying it, Samuel may be like, Jay will be like, I didn't come home for you. It's my brother. He won't say it. But his body language, again, give Jay the Oscar. As he's been phenomenal in this role, the looks, everything he does has been perfect. So Hollywood Jay. Yeah, I think you still have to keep that friction because Jay don't fuck with Roman, really like that. But that's his brother. So he's caught in the middle of this shit. And he's going to do whatever he's going to ride with his brother. And if his brother's like, hey, that's our family. So we gonna do this. Jay's like, that's your family. I'm riding with you. So this enrollment is going to be like, welcome back home. And wise man, I'd be like, you smartened up. He didn't smarten up. He's only looking out for his brother. And now, for whatever, however you want to play this, that shit can carry us for the rest of the year. They're really good. A whole nother year. Fantasy booking alerts. My hope is that they reignite that feud. And we go enrollment, systematically, has to take down the bloodline people turning on him. Even so at one point, like Roman for solo would be great match. And that's how you get Roman rock. Where? Everyone turns face against Roman. And you want them to be Roman J finally beats robot. No one beats Roman. The Rock comes back, like fuck you. You've done so much to his family. You made them join you. You beat their asses again. It's being you kid. In their own piece of show, The Rock. Hell yeah. And he still stands tall. I mean, whatever. We'll keep the whole damn family rikishi. You want some? Beat everybody in the family. So now it's going to be fun. Can't wait to see where all of this plays out. SmackDown tonight is going to lend more. But yeah, the storytelling is phenomenal. It's the best story in wrestling. It's only getting better. Can't wait for WrestleMania weekend for all the shows, ROH, the entire collective is going to be fun. Our schedule is crazy. We're gonna be everywhere. Yeah, and don't plan on going anywhere fast. By the way, for any of those planning, any of their events, any of their WrestleMania weekends, you know, like a lot of other cities, I feel like a little bit easier to commute around. Los Angeles ain't it. So pick and choose your events that you choose to go to wisely. I will tell you this. One of those nights, we will probably go, watch like Joey Janelle spring break, or whatever the midnight wrestling show is. And then we're going to the strip club goal. So make sure. Make sure you're ready. Let me go. I felt like when you were telling that story, I felt like woody and those memes, just the whole up, let them cook. You guys were going. This is great. He's doing a bunch of shows, Ring of Honor on Friday, SmackDown's on Friday, Janelle spring breaks on Friday night. Saturday's NXT, like 9 a.m., which is crazy. And then in the middle of the day, that's the other thing you can find me at if you're trying to I'll be with the crew at busted open. I don't know how I'm going to get there because that whisky a go go on sunset boulevard in NXT is that crypto. And whisky a go go is it starts at noon NXT ends it like 11 and tells le Greco is like you're going to get on stage with us if I can fucking get there. But then you got to remember after that we got to go to WrestleMania. Shit, yeah, that's Saturday. So you got to get from up there to mania. Up there back there and in the middle of all of this with the combat sports people out there is the Anthony Joshua fight is in the middle of all this. So and I have to find a way to watch this fight and write something about it. But yeah, we'll talk more about WrestleMania as we get closer. But if you're in LA, yeah, come find us. Good luck finding us. We're going to tell you where we're going to kind of be. Yeah, we're going to be a little bit of everywhere. There will be the crew is going to have brunch on Friday. Either Friday or Sunday, haven't decided yet. Depending on how busy we are. Sunday, maybe for night two or Friday, just because we're all there. But we're going to do a crew brunch. "All right, so cold baby. Where are you going to get you into the mix here? Because we're going to open this up to more general wrestling. Now and I want different perspectives. So we did an Elimination Chamber AW pod on Tuesday. Because we had you guys in here were like, you guys are going to be the whole show. So we did all that on Tuesday. But it's interesting because we had different perspectives. I don't know how Cole reacted to anything. The past week and pro wrestling, you don't watch. So we can ask you. Brand new information. As someone who's been around the business for so long. Can we get your opinion? And Chris, you're obviously in it as a talent. So you can give us perspectives. We're going to go around on a couple of things happening. And pro wrestling. I'm going to leave WWE to the side for a second. We're going to get there. But the most recent thing happened yesterday, none of us reacted to this. And I just want you guys to start on it. And Tom, I want you to touch on how often this happens in pro wrestling. And Chris, how often you put stuff like this in there? MJF has had several great promos by most accounts and the recent weeks. His character has always been about blurring the line between kayfabe and real. Like you never know what it is. People don't know if those are his real parents to this day. No one knows. So, but he's been putting real stuff in his problems the past couple of weeks. One was very fake about a high school girlfriend that he was driving in his car. And people call the cops on him, thinking that it was real. But this past week is confirmed that it's real. He had his separation from his fiance, and he says, I'm more locked in than you, Daniel Bryan. I'll risk everything. For this business, like Danny Bryan, every time you step in here, you're saying, this is more important than your kids, more important than your wife. He's like, I'm willing to do that. I watched the fiance. I don't care. 'cause I'm world champion. What was your thoughts on MDF getting personal really personal? Real life personal. And then I want to get your take on how often does real life blend into what goes on air and how often do people put that in promos and Chris, if you have how much of your life do you put into your stuff? I'll start. I guess with MJF said it on the show, I followed him around for WrestleMania weekend. And I didn't know if he was working me or not. The whole time. It was weird. We was backstage in locker rooms. He called me on the phone. I was like, where are you staying at? And I was like, oh, I'm staying somewhere. I can't remember in Manhattan. He was like, oh, I got to actually remember my parents as you want to stay there and I hung up the phone and I was like, that motherfucker work at me? I wasn't sure. I say that because I never know, and I think that's the best thing about MDF. So even when he tells that story, I don't know how much he felt that. I don't know how much of a douchebag he really is. But it's conveyed so well through the television that I'm just like, it works. He's like one of one when it comes to that stuff. So he can get away with things that other talent can not. When it comes to this promo ability. And personal life and stories, it works the only challenge with that is he's a heel. And if you're getting sympathy as a heel, it can backfire. And I think while I appreciate it, I was like, mmm, yeah, I mean, this is Brian dancing white meat babyface. Everybody loves dancing. It's very hard to get cheer more than Danielson, but MJF is also in that gray area where people still cheer him when he comes out. I don't know if I would have done that particular promo to get sympathy. If he would have shitted on his fiance, that worked a little bit better, but I felt like at that particular moment, it was a good promo, but I was like, mmm, you're eating Danielson up here by doing this. So I think it depends on who you are. As a heel, I think you should me personally. I don't think you should look for sympathy because it changes the dynamic of the character. Cole. This is there's a lot to digest from, I think, everything that MJF was putting out there on Wednesday. It's a case of when you blur the line like that, like the first thing that comes to my mind is like method acting, right? It's like how much do you dive into the character that you actually become the character and you start wondering like he's been a master of blurring that line as Andreas said of like, we don't know what's a work. What's real, what's fake? But when he does these style of promos because he's done this before, he's gone on this line of collecting sympathy from an audience, even though he's being a heel, right? He'll do promos where it's like I am I am evil and like I hate myself kind of promos. This one took it to a whole nother level where I was I was genuinely just concerned. Like by the end of that promo, I was like, was that a promo to sell a match or was that a cry for help? And I don't know. And part of that is like, I mean, some of the best artists of our time and artists of yesteryear are crazy people. There's just something that ticks

"I saw it. It felt like I got my money's worth. So unbelievable match, gotta be a match of the year candidate, maybe the greatest, you know, and everybody wants to say everything's the greatest. But there has been a standard in dog collar matches for a long time that was Roddy Piper and Greg the hammer Valentine back at starrcade. In my mind, as far as a tag team dog collar match, that has to be right at the top of the list, my goodness. What a performance by both teams can't wait to see what's next for both teams and I think Dax harwood's probably had one of the best years any wrestler could have had. I mean, you take a look at all the different matches and all the different stipulations and singles matches and tag team situations. What a year, mister harwood's had this year. Yeah, smart guy understands the business very well. So as soon as his partner, but I'm with you on that's going to be hard to top in any arena from any company, and some are going to say, well, it's too bloody. But what did you expect a dog collar match to be? Right. Trading of headlocks. Ain't going to happen. So it was really good. I proud of those guys. And I wish I knew the Briscoe's better on a personal level. I don't like to. I don't know what their plans are for the future rather than taking care of their chickens and Delaware. It ain't nothing wrong with that. No. So it was good. It was really good. I am proud of those guys. Their effort was exemplary. And they showed other talents what can happen if you put your heart and soul in your match and really invest unselfishly because they also, they all had their moments. And I just loved it. I thought it was just a, it brought me back to the older days as the thing. So those blow off scenarios. And ironically, even though the brisket was won the match and won the titles, I don't see this story being over. At this point in time, I think there's some more stuff on the back burner because I could watch these two teams work wrestle every day. But their bodies would not hold up to every day. They're going to be sore for days. After what we saw. So it was a really good proud of those guys. I'm happy to be in the business. Those matches making happy at your in the wrestling business. It wasn't a spot fest. It wasn't a flip flop and fly situation. They told a great story, they punished each other, they sold amazingly well. They were very keyword here, kids. They were very unselfish. Everybody got something in. Everybody got some material in that was sort of cool. So I'm a big fan of the all four of those guys, especially after Saturday afternoon. So they made me two now the army navy overtime game to watch it so I have a football freak, so the army navy was big to me. The big one was the kid. So anyway, it was already a fun watch. I would as Conrad said, and we say this all the time, or maybe not enough. Maybe we don't set enough. Go out of your way. Yes. And find that match. And watch it all without somebody talking to you. In front of your TV or your computer and watch the damn match. You're going to be very happy that you did and took our advice on that one. And it is going to be the benchmark, or doll caught them matches in the future, in my opinion. Agree. So it's a really good stuff and I'm happy that we're talking about it. There's guys get their hugs. And just it made my Saturday afternoon without a doubt. And by the way, I want to also congratulate Ian ricker Boney and caprice Coleman. I thought they did a nice job. They had good information. There was a lot of information to cover, you know, Ian reminds me of me sometimes in the sense that he loves the more information that he can provide the viewer, historical, things like that, the better. And he did a great job of leading that commentary team, proud his work, and his heart's in the right place. He's just a hell of a talent behind the mic. And so I just, I thought it was a hit all the way around all the way around. Alex Samoa Joe and juice Robinson. Because what they had to follow was down near impossible. So pardon me, so anyway, good Saturday afternoon. And I'm not totally against Saturday afternoon pay per view. I loved it. Yeah, I thought it was good, man. So anyway, I'm glad we got to talk about that a little bit because it was deserving of all the praise that we could heat opponent. Totally agree, go out of your way to see it. It was match three, even three match trilogy, supercard of honor. This past WrestleMania weekend. We had a 27 minute affair as FTR would pick up a win over the Briscoe's, we would do it again in July and Lowell, Massachusetts, and it was the main event here. It was two out of three falls that gave him 43 minutes FTR would pick up the win there. But when everybody's talking about right now is what happened this past weekend, the Briscoe's beating FTR by referee stoppage, where everyone bled and I mean everyone, the

"He didn't play the Brock now. No shades of Brock because the triple threat with Brock and Rollins. Cena and Cena is amazing. But Brock took ten minute breaks. Points in time, but they're full to a table. He went and got lunch. So he didn't Brock in this situation with a big dude, right? Like he worked throughout. He had his spot. He's like, Braun is good. Yeah, he's not even green anymore 'cause he's getting better. He's progressing. Like, we see him getting better. Yes. But the level that dragunov in Devlin, JD McDonald, whatever. Right now is so much higher in terms of like naturally working. Matches. In bronze to figuring it out, which is fine. It's just, it's a problem when you put the title on the guy like way too soon. And now it's like, he's got to learn on the job. It's not his fault. He's got to figure it out. It sounds like the Liv Morgan effect. It's like, all right, we gave her the title now what? This helps a little bit though. This helped a lot to give him credibility in the ring. I just don't. Ron should be working the Apollo at some point. Yes. And tease that when Apollo came down. They did, then split them. Then they kind of retconned it and they were like, all right, cool, because you got to build Apollo up. Doesn't make sense. The endgame for me is Carmelo. Hayes and brown breaker for the NXT title. Yep. And if you don't get there by WrestleMania, I don't know what we're doing here. I think you do. You have to. There's two guys that head and shoulders above the wrist. Yes. Carmelo Hayes is like, he is the man. That ladder match, I was like, there's literally no reason for him to win this match. He's moved on. He's graduated. And by the time we get to WrestleMania season Ronald bee champion for what? Almost a year? Yep. Well, no, 'cause he lost and got it back. We jumped, and then he lost and got it back. Again, with Ziggler, which was still the dumbest shit I've ever seen. But Carmelo is that dude, either I don't think there's room on the main roster firm yet. No. They have a really carved out of space because they still got other pieces of trying to figure out, but Carmelo Hayes being an NXT champion. That sounds good to me. It's shitty because when he does move up, he would be a great leader of a crew like hit row. But then you automatically get the comparisons to keep no, you gotta keep him and trick 'cause trick could be his mouthpiece trick is fun. Trick is figured out his role. He's not like a wrestler. He's a dickhead. And it's like, and that's fine. Carmella, wherever he lands, he's going to be great. The problem is not even like a problem, but social like landed right in a prominent spot where he can also be protected and pushed to the top. If you put caramel haze in SmackDown raw, this really nowhere for him to go right at this particular moment. But him and Braun are plenty more to do with it. Get them to get them to WrestleMania weekend and I pay good money to see that match. Yeah, hands down. Cole, what's your overall feelings about NXT right now? I mean, I think, yeah, I think Halloween havoc, it's too soon for them to fully get their wheels going as far as rebranding it into what they want it to be again, which is black gold. So yeah, I think Braun is still I think the issue with getting bronze to WrestleMania with Carmelo is who else is left to like kill some time in between now and then. I feel like he's probably going to have a one or two more. Just Apollo. People try to come out. Yeah, it could be Apollo to get us there. Yeah, because carmella, yeah, Carmelo, if he had a place to go on Ron SmackDown, he'd be there already. So we might as well put him in the top billing program. I don't think their next NXT thing is. December, they have another, are they calling them takeovers again yet? Well, they're doing another network special in December 18th. Okay and then rumble. Yeah, but I don't think they were going to be piggybacking NXT off a major pay per views anymore unless it's less trips changes. He could. But I think they're going to do this last 1 December. It probably will do one. Well shit, 'cause then the end of March, April 1st is WrestleMania. So that'll probably be the last one, maybe they start working towards whatever that is. It feels like, yeah, there's no, you look at that lineup and it's like, well, you just be dragging off and JD McDonough. And it's like, well, where do we go from here? Yeah, Apollo, just big, meaty men. Yeah. They just got a heat. Listen, I am not a grease and Waller fan. I think they cut the guy from his crew too. First and foremost, I want to thank everybody over at peacock for inviting me to the Yellowstone suite. What did they rich as they took a suite? It kind of tricked it out and made it look like Montana looked like you were in a bunkhouse and it was great, man. They had the drinks were flowing, had a little whisky, had some beer at some finger foods. You know, they had all the little condiments had Dallas cowboy stars on top of them. And everyone in attendance is getting cowboy boots from Wild Bill's western wear. It was a setup, man. It was great. And I had to stunt real quick some of this is going to tell you this. I was live streaming this. Somebody was in the comments making comments and went, oh, you're way up in the nosebleed section. And I took a fancy to stop and real quick and say, now baby, I'm in a suite. Don't play me like that. Anyway, I had to do that, but shout out to everybody. Stadium, it's huge. Yeah, so shout out to everybody at peacock and thank you so much for having me. I also shout out to my man chuck Kingsbury from WWE for looking out. It was a great time. All right, now let's get to this top 5 real quick, a dug in the biggest grab bag gonna give you my 5 favorite things. Coming at number 5, I was never a fan of Johnny Knoxville and Jack and jackass. That just wasn't my jam back in the day. But joining Knoxville had a match against Sami Zayn and it delivered. If you were a fan of jackass in everything that you liked was in this, that big hand if they would slap people with. We had mousetraps. We had tasers stun guns, all the jackass crew came out. I always thought that Hulk Hogan slamming Andre vagina WrestleMania three was the most impressive feat ever. No, no, no. We man. Wee man got in the ring and slammed Sami Zayn. It was amazing. And it was just a good time and it was a good night and these guys came through. I can't front. I wasn't expecting much and they delivered. Coming at number four, pat McAfee. He had two matches. He beat Austin theory, which is a big deal for pat because Austin theory is a star of the future. And then there were rumors there were rumblings that mister McMahon would get back in the ring. I didn't believe it until it happened. He had a little impromptu match with Vince McMahon. It was fun. It was sloppy. It was fun, whatever. Pat lost that one. So we went one and one, and then stone cold. I was like, what do you think? Pat killed it, man. Yeah, he had to jump. He did some jump on the one. Onto the road. Yeah, that was crazy. Like I said, this is his third match. He had two in NXT check him out. Great job by pat. What a dream for him to be out there with stone cold. Absolutely. All right, what is it? Coming in at number three, we had the man Becky Lynch coming in last week. If you want to argue and say her and Bianca Belair had the best match of the weekend, I won't argue with you. These two women they did their thing. It was a great match, a lot of psychology involved, a lot of throw back to their previous match, Bianca Belair for the second year in a row walks out as champion. She's a star, man. And it's amazing to see. Coming in at number two, friend of the show, Cody Rhodes, made his return. And I just wanted to share this with you, rich. 6 years ago, WWE didn't think Cody Rhodes was a star. So instead of him staying there what he did is he left. He went on his own to prove them wrong. And he went from wrestling in front of 12,000 people every Monday and Friday to I saw him with a 150.

And I hope now that they've got this pay per view model, Brett Lauderdale's a friend of mine, I just now he realized, okay, time is serious. And it can eat into our main mat because that ending was super abrupt. But they'll figure it out. And I feel like GCW from this point on is going to be even better and I hope they have a great showing during WrestleMania weekend. And you know they're going to do the collective and all that stuff. GCW. And AJ gray falling off the ladder. AJ versus ladders. I'm in AJ up immediately. So AJ schedules crazy packed all this stuff. It wasn't sure about corner rumble. We hit him up. See if you'll drop by for the rumble. Now they schedule opened up for one a week for him versus ladders, hilarious. But honestly, it starting to feel like the momentum is I don't want to be like super hyperbole guy or anything, but those ECW vibes that people attach to GCW for a long time, it's feeling like they're hitting that stride. Yeah. Where it's turning from super niche, super colt's following to, oh, this is a thing. Now, now the big people want to come here. They are the biggest benefactor of WWE and AW's contracts running out. They will be the biggest benefactor in that. And they know how to use people. They know what makes it and they're not alienating their core people. No. Heavy is amazed. I was like, wait, is this a gimmick guitar? Is this the real thing? Because the way he ate it and split them over. If he's incredible. Jared coming back is funny. That's a good appearance. They're doing a lot of stuff, right?
