"And I am today reissuing Bond hoffer's warning to the American church in this book letter to the American church because I am absolutely convinced this is true. Ladies and gentlemen, please at least consider what I'm saying. I know this is true. It's horrifying, it's an opportunity for the church, but if we don't take this opportunity, I just want to be honest and say it's going to be as bad or worse as what happened because of the silence of the German church. It is unimaginable we need to imagine it. And if you know the bond hoffer story, you can imagine it. Yeah. And folks, it's a real quick read. It's only a 140 pages. It's like a real letter from Eric metaxas. It's a little verbose, but it gets the points down clearly. You got to read it, get your pastors or read it, get on board. I mean, again, you know, this is, this is not about selling books, folks. This is about saving America. Let me just tell you, it's not like I said, hey, I know in a way I can make a buck. I'm going to write a book called letter to the American church. I literally wasn't even going to publish it with a publisher. I was going to publish it myself because I just thought I just got to get this out so that pastors can read this. So anyway, all right. Before we go to play our conversation with David Limbaugh, I want to say that I'll be traveling a lot. I'm going to be an Omaha Nebraska or wherever it is in Iowa. It's like right on the border of Nebraska. I'm going to be doing a flashpoint live in person. This Thursday night with Dutch sheets, holy cow. I get to meet Dutch sheets and whenever that's happening, then I'm flying to Tennessee and I'm speaking in world outreach church in Tennessee this weekend, but next weekend there is a conference in Dallas and I have not really talked about this. I'm going to be in Dallas, September 23rd, 24th, if you know anybody in Dallas, please go to Christians engaged dot org. Christians engaged dot org at the conference I am speaking, Robert jeffress is speaking congressman chip Roy, unless I'm reading something wrong, John's merak is going to be at the. Can this be? Wow. You better ask. You want to meet S mirak? Holy cow. So that's Christians engaged dot org all right, we're going to be talking to Limbaugh..

"And this goes across the spectrum. I mean, you just said about growing up in a barn in Tennessee. I mean, if you're working with animals, you know, there's male chickens, they're called roosters, and they can't lay eggs. And then there's chicken chickens, and they lay eggs. It's kind of basic. We've understood these things from the beginning of time, but we're living in a crazy time where people with power and loud voices are trying to rearrange reality. And I really do see it as a war against God. And we have to stand up and say, lovingly, God is real. God created the universe. He's the standard of truth. He's the one that sets the boundaries as you said. And we have neglected them. I mean, I don't know how many people who maybe think of themselves as Christian as they go to churches, but they're sleeping with their girlfriend or their boyfriend. They don't seem to understand that's a deal breaker. God can't really bless you if you ignore him in that most basic thing because he loves you, he gives you these fundamental rules. Are you hearing that from the pulpit? Or do you live in a culture where people say, well, we don't want to be divisive, and that's the way it is now. You know, that's like saying, well, we're racist now, and that's just the way it is. There's right and there's wrong. And we have to speak up against wrong and speak up for what is right. And one of the reasons that ISO enjoy coming down to Murfreesboro to world outreach church is that you have a community of people that they get it and they're not shrinking from this. But pastor Allen, you know, and I know there are many pastors across this country. They have just decided to step back and to try to go back to what we were saying before to 2019. They just don't want to deal with this stuff that we've lived through this madness and people need it to be addressed. They're hungry for pastors who will lead and talk about these things. They are, there's a tremendous opportunity. But you have done this so well, Eric, I mean, with book after book and your latest one is a great example of that a letter to the American church. But I would suggest that it isn't being political. What we're trying to address is current events. I'm not looking for a political solution. I mean, if our hearts change, I think we will see different politics. But what we're really trying to talk about is what's happening in our world. And if we don't talk about that, our faith is theoretical. It makes me smile. I can't tell you how many hours I've spent in academic settings, having to study the social customs and the social culture of the first century or the tenth century BC. We want to know all about the social culture of antiquity, but we refuse to talk about the culture at which we live. I'm pretty certain John the Baptist would have lived a longer life if he hadn't talked about current events. Well, he met with the king's life. That, right there, we're going to go to a break, but that right there says it all. John the Baptist and Jesus said things that many pastors say would say, oh, don't say that. Well, here's the problem. They said it. And I think that I would trust their judgment on that more than I would trust some pastors.

"Factor dot com or call 800 for relief to find out about this offer, feel the difference. Hey there folks, welcome back. You know, as you travel around the country or I should say as I travel around the country, I make Friends everywhere. And it's a wonderful thing when you go back to the same place, a number of times. You really do feel like family. One of those places is Murfreesboro, Tennessee, where I have spoken many times at world outreach church and gotten to know the pastor, Alan Jackson. So we're Friends. And I have already read the book that he's going to be talking about. I already gave him an endorsement for it because I love it. But I'm really happy to have him on as my guest right now, pastor Allen Jackson. Welcome. Well, thank you, Eric. It's good to be with you. I'll pretend we're just acquaintances because I want this to be a hard hitting journalistic interview. I'm going to ask you the tough questions. This book is titled big trouble ahead, a real plan for flourishing in a time of fear and deception. One of the reasons that I like you and I like the book is because you tell it like it is. We are in a situation in this country, unlike anything we've seen in our lifetimes without any question, and that's what you talk about. So tell my audience effectively, essentially, what do you what do you say in the book big trouble ahead? Well, big trouble ahead is really a play off the word tribulation, which is our biblical world. And tribulation just means big trouble. And I think there's a temptation amongst evangelicals, especially to leap ahead to think, is this the end of the world because we're walking through this turmoil. And rather than answer that question, I try to acknowledge that we're in this season of tremendous confusion and disruption in realignment. And what do we do to flourish in the midst of that? I think it started with the pandemic in 2020. And we were told if we'd go home for two weeks, we could flatten the curve and return to normal. They lied. And so now we're more than two years later. And the turmoil is escalating. It's not diminishing. We've survived the virus. Such as it was. But we have violence in our streets and lawlessness on our borders and more deception and propaganda and censorship. I mean, you know the list. And we can't just click our heels together and want to go back to 2019. We have to decide what we do in this environment to make a difference for the kingdom of God. And that's what the book is about. How do we flourish in this season? Well, you know, I have a book coming out in the fall. In fact, I think I was speaking at your church in September of the week it comes out called letter to the American church, which deals in a different way with the same thing. And it's this problem you just alluded to it, there are people whether they're politicians or pastors who seem to just want to click their heels and go back to 2019 as if most of our cherished values had not been viciously attacked. And we just want to ignore that and move on. That's the Christian thing to do. I would argue, and you argue, no, it's not the Christian thing to do. The Christian thing to do is to be honest about what we're facing. I mean, when you talk about propaganda, misinformation, we have never seen that in America. That is what, if you have any sense of history, if you're old enough, as we are, you just think, this is grotesque. We have never, ever seen anything like this in our lifetimes. We simply have not. We've grown up in a world where Jim Crow was defeated, whatever, we're just trying to get better and correct our wrongs. And then we hit this era where all of these, whether authority figures or institutions of authority, have not just failed, but have gone over to the dark side, have decided we're going to put out false information. We're going to manipulate people. We've never faced that in America. And if the church does not stand up against this, we're supposed to, we believe in the one who is truth. And if we're quiet, then I believe the lord will judge us and to some extent is already judging us because it is our job to speak up. I couldn't agree more. I think if we're quiet, we're like the German Christians that gathered in their churches and sang more loudly when the trains filled with the Jews passed by. But I think that there's good news in the midst of this because I don't think what we're watching just happened in 2020. I think we were asleep. I think the infrastructure was put in place. I think the ideologies have been flourishing in our schools and our universities. I've spent my life around academia and we're dishonest because you've spent enough time there. They were telling they were teaching this garbage in the university's decades ago. And for the most part, I was quiet because I wanted to earn the degree and I wanted the blessing and I wanted whatever came with that diploma. It's just now it's made it's all the way down to our elementary schools and they're teaching it to our most vulnerable children. And we were so distracted, we didn't know. And because of the pandemic and all that happened, it's like the alarm clock went off and we woke up and we weren't in Kansas anymore. And now the decision has to be made. Are we going to acknowledge that we've worshiped at the altar of comfort and convenience? Are we going to acknowledge the degree to which we've wandered off the path? I read the literature in the church for the last decade or so. We've spent more energy talking about how to make friends with the world than how to explain what righteousness and purity is to God's people. And we've got to come back and look at our fundamentals. It's not the first time in the history of the church. The Bible is filled with it in church history is filled with it. When we wander away from what center is, and now God and his mercy has awakened us. And will we have the courage to do the hard work of reasserting our faith saying our faith does belong in the schools. Our faith does belong in the corporate board room. It's much easier to say, well, we just want an election to fix it. We want a politician to fix it, or a political party to fix it. It's not the job of the politicians. This is the church's job. And I don't mean when we gather on Sunday to sing a song and endure a sermon. I mean, those of us that imagine ourselves to be citizens of the kingdom of God, have to take the values of that kingdom and live them out in our neighborhoods on the ball fields and the corporate settings and the hospitals and the courtrooms..

"Message. We shouldn't be frightened or threatened, but it's going to take courage and boldness. Well, and if we're not clear about that message, people are tuning out. I mean, all of the pastors that are saying, well, we don't want to be political or we don't want to, I think to myself folks, it's called truth. And if you say that an unborn baby is a human being that deserves to live and that you care about that and you're going to vote for people who care about that. You suddenly you're being what people will say is political. But how can you not be political? How can you shrink from truth because you're afraid of being accused of being political? And this goes across the spectrum. I mean, you just said about growing up in a barn in Tennessee. "It's the right thing to do folks I'm talking to my friend pastor Allen Jackson of world outreach church in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, where I've had the privilege to be many times. I know I'll be there in mid September. He has a new book out brand new called big trouble ahead, a real plan for flourishing in a time of fear and deception. I think the madness that we're experiencing. And there's no other word for it. I mean, it's absolute madness in every direction, it is a spiritual battle, it is a satanic war on truth and we're seeing it in every way. But the good news is the lord is allowing it to wake up a holy remnant. And to not just wake up a holy remnant, but to find people who didn't have faith who now see things are so crazy, there has to be an answer. Is there a God? Where do I turn? And they're seeing Christians like you, call things as they are. And they're saying, that's right. I wouldn't have I wouldn't have said so before, but I see it now. The craziness makes me want to know, is there a standard of truth? And ultimately, that's the answer and in your book, big trouble ahead, you talk about that. Well, it seems to me that evil will always overplay its hand. You can observe that in nature a disease process will destroy its host. An evil will destroy what it touches. And we're watching that. It's come to the point of the absurd. And in that, there's an opportunity to stand up and then to begin to align ourselves with the truth. How did we arrive at a place where we're unwilling and public to define what a woman is, when we're electing people to some of the most are selecting people for some of the most powerful offices in the land. We didn't get there in a week or a month. I think we got there by winking at immorality long ago. We said fornication really wasn't a problem. And we took all sorts of we took down the sexual boundaries that God gave us. So now we find ourselves standing in a place where we can't even define a man and a woman. Again, I grew up in a barn in Tennessee. This is not complex. There's no confusion in the amongst the chickens about this. Surely we humans can figure this out. If we have the courage and the will to tell the truth. But to do that, we've got to come back to the fact and acknowledge there is objective truth. That I'm not the measure of all things. And my experience is not the defining of all things life. I have to smile the new telescope, the web telescope that's been deployed 30 years in the making $10 billion. Seeing the farthest reaches of the galaxy that we've ever seen, reminding us that there's a creator. Being deployed right in the midst of this cultural war, when they say we can't figure out what a man and a woman isn't God said, well, let me show you the reaches of the universe. Maybe we should say got created the heavens in the earth. Just maybe we should submit to the authority of the omniscient omnipotent creator. Just maybe that would make life better. The church has an exciting.

"Tell me Eric, why is relief factor so successful at lowering or eliminating pain? I'm often asked that question, the owners of relief factor tell me they believe our bodies were designed to heal. That's right, designed to heal, and I agree with them. So the doctors who formulated relief factor for them selected the four best ingredients, yes, 100% drug free ingredients, each helps your body deal with inflammation. Each of the four ingredients deals with inflammation from a different metabolic pathway. And that right there approaching from four different angles may be why so many people find such wonderful relief. So if you've got back pain, shoulder neck hip knee or foot pain from exercise or just getting older, you should order the three week quick start discounted to only 1995 to see if it will work for you. It works for me. It has for about 70% of the half a million people who've tried it and have ordered more, go to relief factor dot com or call 800 for relief to find out about this offer, feel the difference. "All right, I have been looking forward to this segment all day. Well, about once a year, we get to sit down with an incredible pastor here in the national area, pastor Alan Jackson. He is the senior pastor at world outreach church, he's also the author of a great book called entered intentional faith. You've got to check that out. We've got a link to it on our live show blog intentional faith. Pastor Jack's are good to have you with us. It's good to be back Todd. Good to see you. You know, we, when we look at what's happening in the world, just complete chaos, it's a dumpster fire. Oh, that's a biblical definition. But it would be crazy out there. I'm pretty sure in the original language somewhere you can find dumpster fire. Leviticus deuteronomy, it's gotta be in there somewhere. You know, pastor, a lot of people are nervous. They see what's happening in Ukraine. They see what's happening with Russia, World War three being talked about on the evening news. What say you? Well, I think I agree. I feel that uncertainty in the air again. You know, it seems like we just put COVID to bed. And we kind of got over our mandates and got some freedom back with that. But it feels like that same spirit of uncertainty is in the air again that we first heard about COVID, except now it's focused on global conflict and Ukraine. It started with Ukraine and Russia, but it's pretty quickly spilling beyond that. It underlying all of that it feels like to me that the spirit of authoritarianism is being expressed in the earth with the boldness that we haven't seen for a few decades. And what president Reagan said, tear down this wall, mister Gorbachev. We watched after that, the wall come down and then the Soviet Union unravel, and authoritarianism receded for a season. But now we see expressions of, we certainly see it with Putin and G in China. We saw it in Canada, uncomfortably. With the response to the truckers and what they were doing there, we see it in our own nation with mandates that really aren't a result of the opinions of the people. And I think that there's an unsettled us that has come back to us because I don't really think we imagine that what we're being told is the full story. I remember writing a column midway through the pandemic and I said these words that my greater fear was not the pandemic it was how willing we were we were just surrendering our civil liberties. For the sake of feeling free and that concerns me. Well, you know, when we first heard about COVID, we didn't know anything about it. And so we took the cue to go home for a couple of weeks. But it became apparent pretty quickly into that that the information we were getting from the WHO and the CDC and a lot of Talking Heads wasn't accurate with all the fact we could see. And we're watching that again. You know, I have tremendous compassion for the people of Ukraine, being driven from their homes, their cities being destroyed, they're being overrun by an evil, I mean, there's no other way to describe what Putin is done. But I also don't understand why they're showing it to us 24/7 from MSNBC all the way to Fox. They didn't show us Rwanda when a million people died in 90 days. They won't show us our southern border with 2 million people pouring across it and all the human suffering and the human trafficking and the fentanyl and all the other problems that are happening with that. They've forgotten about the truckers in Canada. I know it's a tragedy and I know it has it threatens a global conflict. I think that's real. But there's something else a part of it that they're not talking about yet. And to that point, we've been pointing out the stories which are made for TV moments, whether it's the beauty queen, armed with the AR-15 or the Kyiv ghost, the ghost of Kyiv shooting down all the Russian great stories, but now we know they're not true. And then The New York Times yesterday actually had a story out pastor, saying, well, yeah, we know they're not true, but they're inspirational stories. They're encouraging the Ukrainian people. Fake news. I grew up in a barn in Tennessee, so I usually take the simple approach. If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, I'm gonna look for the duck and when we're seeing scripted scenes that look like they were drafted on somebody's design board in Hollywood, it doesn't diminish my compassion or concern for the Ukrainian people. But it does ask me to does cause me to look at the people delivering those messages with some real skepticism. And since we're going down this very very weird path with this conversation, let's bring up president zelensky, who is doing a great job as a leader, but in reality he's getting great praise from all of these woke evangelicals here in America who condemn president Trump and yet here's a man who if he was an American politician would be a progressive, radical leftist who supports free abortion for his own people, and yet they embrace someone like that and reject someone like a Donald Trump who actually was pro life. It almost feels to me like an elaborate magician's trick. You know, hey, watch this and then don't look at the other hand and watch what's really happening. And there's a tremendous amount of suffering and we can't take our eyes off of that. And what is the word for Christians on that? Because you're right, there is suffering, and we see that on our television screens every night. How should we be responding to this? Well, I've been encouraging Christians for a while now to watch and to listen. Went to think, and then act. Don't just take what you're told, like you're somebody's feeding you. We could have put enormous pressure on Russia if we would have stayed energy independent. And we had provided energy to Europe. We would have taken away the bankroll for Putin and could have diminished his enthusiasm tremendously. We chose not to do that. When we see these convoys of Russian tanks and trucks and armaments that are 40 miles long, I was within Israeli friend last night. And he said, two missiles could fix that. They could totally disrupt that plan and they have the ability to do that they're not doing it. He said it doesn't make sense to me. So the logic flow doesn't follow any better with the Ukrainian Russian crisis than it did with COVID in the responses that came to it. And now they're trying COVID and our current situation, I don't know if you saw these government regulations that came out in the event of nuclear war. We're supposed to hide in our bunkers socially distanced, but we got to make sure we're in our face masks faster. I hope whoever wrote that protocol got a raise. Well, yeah, you know, I was thinking about that. I'm a big guy and I'll tell you what people are going to be laughing because they'll never see a fat guy running so fast. If I see a nuclear weapon head in our way, I'm old enough, I know what to do in case of a nuclear threat, you get under your desk. That's it. Because you're destined to protect you from a direct hit. That's true..

I had dinner with our friends Victoria Jackson and her husband Paul. I'm crazy time hanging out with Victoria. The next night I had the real privilege of dinner with Mario marilla and his wife, Michelle, we need to get back him back on the program. He's as they say next level. And then the night after that, I had dinner with Keith Getty. Because I thought, hey, I'm alone in the Tennessee area. And so a number of Friends reached out and I but there are 5 other friends that now live there and I wasn't able to see. So it's kind of crazy, but I had a good time, but then I flew to California. Suzanne had a birthday and I wanted her to join me. We did a secret project with dinesh de Souza. Larry I mean, I've sent out I put out pictures, but Larry elder was there. Sebastian gorka was there. I'm trying to think it was like, Sebastian gorka was a dinesh just who's around the whole thing. And yeah, and what's his name? The big guy, the Jewish guy, that's part of Salem. You're not talking about Dennis prager. Yeah, what's the Jewish get out of here? No, I thought he was. Dennis prager was there, but I'm trying to think who wasn't there, it was just about everybody that I can think of, obviously, Charlie Kirk was there. Anyway, I put a picture out of the whole gang of us. Sebastian gorka. It was an amazing time and dinesh is making a film called 2000 mules..

And dinesh is making a film called 2000 mules. It is world changing. Yes, it is. World changing. I don't want to say what it was about. You can look on the web. It's 2000 mules. We're all involved in commenting on the information that we saw. It is astonishing. Astonishing folks, I promise you, 2000 mules, we're all in it. And I got to say this too. Suzanne and I had the outrageous privilege of being invited by pat Boone to go to his home in Beverly Hills and have dinner with him. And we went to pat Boone's home and had dinner with just the three of us and his dog shadow. And I have to say, I love pat Boone so much. He's such an amazing man. And everything that came out of his mouth, I wanted to say, stop stop. We need to get this on the radio. Everything he says at least to my mind is so fascinating. I thought, don't waste it on me and Suzanne and shadow, we need you to get so he's going to come on this program. He has a book coming out with the title if. So he's going to come on this program to talk about that and I think within the next couple of months. But he also is in a movie called the Mulligan. It's a golf movie. He was telling us all about it over dinner and I just said, hey, pat. You need to talk about this on the air. This is very exciting. He's just doing so much. And he just shared all this stuff with us. He's telling us stories about Arthur Godfrey. Frank Sinatra. John Wayne. He just sang a duet with are you ready? And Margaret, she's 81 putting out an album of duets. He's saying you do it with her. He played it for us, and it is living room. I mean, the whole thing was like out of a dream and yet I wasn't sleeping..

"7 use the code Eric. Nothing. Could change hey folks welcome to the Eric metaxas show. I was talking to Victoria Jackson and actually son of a gun. I'm still talking to Victoria Jackson Vicky. I want to go back to the most important part of this conversation. Unfortunately, there is no most important part. It's very confusing. So let's just go back to the first part. How about the idea that you bought a house on a mountaintop? And your husband Paul doesn't want to live there. So does this mean you're going to have two houses and that you're going to be a house divided? A household divided? No, my plan is to slowly persuade him to come there, starting with inviting him over for dinner. Well, if you don't mind my asking, how is this house different from the one that you're living in right now? It's bigger, so I can fit all of my memorabilia. As you can see, I'm running out of space. Right. And my mother died, I have a lot of her stuff, and there was in storage. I said, instead of paying for storage for her stuff, I could put it in a house, which would be making an interest while it's storing it until I can disperse it to the children, et cetera. I have a method to my madness. There's a lot of thought that goes into this. But the most important thing we've talked about today was Jesus Christ. That was very important. And I was telling people that they should read the Bible. Oh, here's my new way I read the Bible. I used to just listen to it when I'm going to sleep on my laptop. Audio Bible. They read it, but my brain would get distracted sometimes. So now I read it with my eyes on the Bible while I'm listening to the guy on the laptop reading it. Really effective. What app do you use? Who's reading it? It's not me, is it? I don't think I've ever recorded the Bible. No. Hey, by the way, I don't know the name of them, but you can find your favorite version. What's happening with your new book? Is atheism dead? What's happening with it? It's flying off the shelves. That's what's happening. It's selling like hotcakes. That's what's happening. And you know what else is happening? Those things and other great things. Actually, the reception of the new book is atheism debt has been genuinely spectacular. I am thrilled at the responses to it. I really am. It's kind of amazing. But it's funny whenever I write these books, I think to myself, all I'm doing is putting this information out there in an entertaining readable format. It's not like I spent 30 years doing this research. Other people have done that scientists and stuff, but they tend not to write books that are as well known so they're out there, but my passion is to take their stuff and to get it out to a wider audience. So everywhere I speak, I ask people, I say, have you heard of the fine tuned argument for God? And most people haven't heard of it, which is astonishing. So it's my goal to get this great news for the existence of God and the historicity of the Bible and the ridiculousness of atheism and I say that as politely as I can. The bleakness, the unbearable bleakness of atheism to let people know about this stuff. So I've been doing a lot of speaking. I will be in your neck of the Woods in a week and a half. I'll be in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, speaking at world outreach church, and maybe you and your current husband of 30 years Paul could come and hear me and we could have dinner or something like that. And let me at least get the tip. You have to promise not to be in a hurry. Yeah. I wish I had time to answer that, but I'm kind of in a hurry right now. What do you mean in a hurry if we're having dinner together, I can't be in a hurry? We have dinner. We could have dinner, you know, after the or we could get a brunch after the service or something like that. I don't know. I know it's a drive for you, Murfreesboro is not exactly around the corner from Franklin or wherever you are. Not from my new house on the mountain. Where did you new house on the mountain? Is it near the old house? Yes, I can't say or lots of weird, well fans will come and.

"Welcome to the Eric metaxas show with your host. Eric, the taxes. Hey folks, welcome to this is how we're two. It's our two. How the time flies. Yes, it does. We were just kids back then. Yeah. Listen in our two today we're talking to our friend Sean Foyt. Don't try to spell it. You'll hurt yourself. But tomorrow, we're doing a special Christmas Eve. This is something I recorded in England about 7 years ago. It is a Socrates in the city event. If you don't know about Socrates and city, this is a series speaking series that I have done or interview series I've done, I should say, over the years, you can go to Socrates in the city dot com. Actually, it's an amazing website. A lot of cool stuff there. Socrates in the city dot com. But tomorrow we're airing my socks in the city interview with gosh, a brilliant man. Colin nickel, he wrote a book called the star, it's about the star of Bethlehem. It's the Christmas comet. It's amazing. It's amazing. It combines extreme astronomy with biblical exegesis. And if you don't know what that means, it doesn't matter. But that's in a very bright flashlight. He holds it above his head and said, there was a drama for drama. That's right. So, no, but that's tomorrow, and it's really special, but if you go to Socrates in the city dot com, you can see more of the interviews that I've done, but he's a big deal. So I'm going to be speaking there on January 9th. If you're interested, you can go to my website, Eric meta taxes dot com, check out the details. But if you're in New York on January 9th I'll be speaking there mostly talking about what's in my book as atheism dead. Which is very encouraging to the faith. That's one of the reasons I'm so excited about the book. It bolsters one's faith because you realize, what was I thinking? It's obvious that God is real and the Bible is true. All the evidence points to that. So it's almost it's not almost. It is an act of willfulness at some point when I say I don't believe it. It's like, what do you mean you don't believe it? You believe the earth is a sphere. What do you need? What do you need me to do to convince you? So I'm speaking at David engelhard church on January, but I say 9th. Yes. In New York. And I'm speaking in bethel Connecticut. On January 2nd, if you can drive to bethel, Connecticut, you go to my website, Eric metaxas dot com and you make a left. And you'll get there. They got me there. If you read my book, Wilbur forest, loaded with racism. No. I disavowed that book. It says, I realize you may want to know about this the correct a misunderstood comments about Jesus race. Somebody had ripped that sign down. That's the reason why they got fined. And so the Housing department and the Health Department showed up and they wanted to gain access into the church. Today marks a week that it's been out. I don't know if it's going to hit The New York Times best seller list, But to those of you who purchased copies. Let me say thank you because the first week really is important pre sales and the first week are very important. I'm getting really fabulous feedback, Alban And I say that because you know when you write a book. You just don't know. What? What are people going to say? I'm thinking many people going to say, Look, man, it's Eric story. It's not that interesting. Maybe it's interesting to him and his friends, but I'm getting a lot of great feedback. On it. Ah, lot of people are finding it funny. On. I have to say the funny parts are funny. Cinema parts are not funny. Those parts are not the funny parts, but there are a lot of funny stories in it. My favorite funny parts are the stories with my dad. V eight incident. The whooper incident. And then who could forget the leper con incident? Those are my three favorite things. I think you know, I left one out. Can I tell you what I left out? Well, what did you leave out? By the way? Here's copy of the book. I know you're on the road, and you don't have a copy with you, but I want to show it the folks at home. By the way. I'm still messing with my wires. When I got replaced by a robot. That's the early copy. The book itself is much more beautiful. That was the early readers. That's true. Just the snow has not let them deliver your book. Me yet, but they'll get here when I'm on stage. I'm not kidding. It's gorgeous. Salem is the publisher. They did a really tremendous job of publishing the book. But anyway, I'm really I am getting great feedback on it. I was in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. I preached that world Outreach Church Fantastic Church. I just found out. It's the largest church in Tennessee. A world that recherche the pastor's Alan Jackson. So I was in Murfreesboro. I'm in Charleston this week. If you know anybody in the Charleston area, I'm doing several Speaking engagements in Charleston, South Carolina. I believe Wednesday and Thursday so nothing today. But tomorrow and Thursday, I'm doing a bunch of events. And then Suzanne and I are flying to San Diego. Did I get that right? I'm preaching the church in. Actually, I don't know if it's San Diego. I know it's in the area. How pathetic that I don't know the answer to that I can look it up. But I want to say that if you can get to me, I'm putting a lot of the stuff on the live stream. So people know I'm sorry. It's Chino Hills, California. What is wrong with you? Yeah, no hills. I will be in San Jose on the 28th of February this weekend. The 14th Valentine's Day. I'm speaking in She know Hills, uh, California, Chino Hills, California on day. I'm excited about that. Calvary Chapel, Chino Hills. So, um, man, I'm getting around and I've got a lot of more traveling to do. But most of the time I'll be. I'll be home in New York. Um we need to talk about a few things. Yes. Number one along there. Still, people that are not signed up for my newsletter. No sending out a lot of free excerpts and stuff from the book photographs and that kind of thing. If you're not signed up, go to eric Metaxas dot com. Sign up for the newsletter, please. I also want to say to folks my clindell put up this documentary. It is called absolute proof and it's about the election. If I were you, I would check it out. I think it is really important that Americans understand what happened during this election. You have to go to Michael j. Lindell dot com. If you can't spell Michael j. Lindell dot com I posted it on Twitter and on Facebook and I'm Gabby. And we're fine. Books are sold. Um yeah. I'm gonna be on Tucker Carlson. This Friday night. While I'm in Charleston. I have to find a studio in Charleston. But they told me they wanted me on This Friday night. So obviously last time was canceled. That's what happens with these big shows. They cancel stuff the last minute. Well, there was a big snowstorm, though they did have a good excuse, didn't they? Wasn't the snow storm that held you otherwise, but I don't consider that a good excuse, But you know what? Who am I know, Um They had a snowman sitting in for you that day. So that's how I know it was had something to do with the snow. I also want to say if people are looking for something fun to watch. If you go to Salem, now dot com there's all kinds of stuff there. Salem now dot com Because it's sometimes it's kind of funny because it's hard to find good stuff. Right. Salem now dot com If you used the code, Eric, you get 20% off. Tons of good stuff there. No safe spaces with our buddy. Uh, Dennis Prager, Adam Corolla stuff. Adam Corollas in that movie as well, No Safe spaces. Yep. The but so go to Salem, now dot com used the code, Eric And speaking of the code, Eric, I'm reminded behind you album. There's a cardboard cut out. It looks like they're Lendell. Michael Adele's company has been under attack. We've talked about this. You.

"world outreach church" Discussed on The Patriot 1280 AM

"Program was pre recorded. show album. You know this, but the audience doesn't know this, but I don't want to work. I got stuck in Murfreesboro. Tennessee, which is a great place to get stuck. I got a lot of work to do. But is that there? Isn't there a Disney theme park there? No, no, and I'm going. I'm flying straight to Charleston, South Carolina, where I'm gonna be doing a number of events this week in Charleston, South Carolina. So instead of flying all the way home to New York because there was snow yesterday, I said we're gonna We're gonna We're gonna ride it out here and I'm going to Charleston, South Carolina, and then I'm going to San Diego and I'm preaching in a church in San Diego. Wow on Saturday and Sunday of next week. The next weekend, but I want to say that I spoke here at World Outreach Church, which is headed up by a dear friend, Pastor Alan Jackson. He's just an amazing Brother in the faith, and he's had me speaking his church many times, so I spoke here and it's unbelievable to see like 2500 people not wearing masks. Wow, they have, like no super spreading. They've everything's been amazing. Down here. I mean, they are actually being quite careful, but still, it's just a huge church. And I, uh I gave my testimony of how I came to faith kind of the story of my life as I mentioned in my book, Uh, Fish out of water. You mean this? This book right here. Fish on. You've got that. That's the early version used. I know you're real version that the snow has just finished melting. And I'm waiting for the Fed ex guy to show up with the book. By the way, Eric, you You should just give up this writing in this entertaining stuff and just become a minister. Why not Right? Why not? Hey, why not? Well, I have to say before I forget. If you go to Amazon, you'll notice this is what happens right? Because they're people out there who hate me. For some reason they go to Amazon and they post a one star review. Yeah, I see. I saw those not read the book. And I'm amazed that Amazon even lets them do that. So if you folks if you go to my Amazon page for the book, Fish out of water, um first of all, if you're inclined to leave a review, please do if you if you're inclined lever of you, but also If you read a really great review market, you know, like when it says was this helpful? Some of them are really helpful, but the ones that are unhelpful that are one star reviews that basically say Eric's a jerk, and we hate his guts or something like that, which has nothing to do with the book. They these people should be reported. Because this is it's got nothing to do with the book. This is about the book, and I'm just I'm just amazed that Amazon kind of lets that go. It's really it's dramatically unhelpful. I want to say a couple Things album. People need to know that, um one of the ways we can share our views on things is with how we spend money. Some people know that the Bank of America Um, was used politically. After the January 6th events of the capital. They gave up private information on their customers on how their customers spent money and so on and so forth. Folks. That is not what we do in a free country. That is unbelievable. That Bank of America did that. It's like when I talk about Cole's and bed, bath and beyond, and a G P stores and Wayfair. When? When Corporate America. Does things like this? We haven't obligation. We have a duty as Americans. So let them know that we don't think that's okay. So if you have the ability to write an email to the Bank of America, if you know about this, you can look it up what they did if you have the ability to write a letter to them. If you want to call them. It's very important that we send a message to these very powerful wealthy institutions that are making a lot of money from us. But this is not acceptable. I would further advise people write a letter to them and tell them this is why I will no longer do business with you. If I have been doing business with you, I would take my money. I will take my money out. If we don't use our voices because I wrote this book on Bond, Hoffer and the Germans. They just let things happen and over years Things can get very bad if you do not speak up when it begins to happen, So we're in the middle of this. Our rights as Americans are being aggregated are are fundamental. Civil rights, our right to free speech. This is unacceptable folks, and you have to send a message. So when Twitter cancels us when YouTube cancels us when they do these kinds of things We have to, at the very least, register our disapproval and when it's a corporation like Bank of America, huge bank If Americans don't say something about this. I mean, this is really despicable. What Bank of America did And I want everyone to know that my advice is Write them a letter, send them an email and tell them I'm going to be doing business anywhere else because what you did is not acceptable, and it's even ironic that they have a name like Bank of America, and that they would behave this way Big corporations need to understand. That the people who allow them to exist who do business with them have a voice. And I want to say this because I think Americans often we let stuff go. We don't We don't let them know that what you did is not acceptable, and I just feel very strongly that if we don't do that, All these companies that are doing business with China without requiring that China have a modicum of human rights toward their citizens, all of this kind of stuff. If you don't use the power that you have in the freedom you have. That's why God gave you the freedom. That's why I got God gave you the power of the financial power. The power to speak. It is for his purposes. And so we have an obligation. I just want to say that very, very clearly album. Do you have anything? Well, I want to share than what I just said. Well, you know, I think a lot of people are thinking about the impeachment process That's coming up starting Tuesday, and I know we're gonna have John's mere act on probably Joe Biden. Cause you really It's the president, right? If you're exactly that, you can only impeach the president. So which President are we talking about here? So I guess they must still consider Trump the president. They want to impeach him while I'm glad he's still the president. I really his values are kind of square up with mine. I don't believe in killing the unborn, for example. Um okay. So this week I had is the impeachments gonna be happening this week? The impeachment unquote. Roberts has recused himself because he's hanging out on Epstein's island. He's hiding out. And Yeah, that is not the sequel to Gilligan's Island..
