The Origins of Thanksgiving With Bill Federer

"Bill, tell us, why do we celebrate Thanksgiving? What is the story of Thanksgiving? Well, the little background. So the king of England was a globalist. He was a one world government guy with him at the top. The British empire controlled in the Australia New Zealand Hong Kong brisk ionic Canada Barbados Bermuda Jamaica and America. And so America's founders wanted to break away from this globalist one world government king. And so they flipped it and made the people became. And so where did they get this idea that you could rule yourself without a king? Well, it came from the pilgrims and that it came from the calvinist Puritans that came from the reformation and then they got their ideas from ancient Israel. That first 400 years out of Egypt, it's called the Hebrew republic. And it's the first instance in recorded history of a nation with millions of people and no king. And there's around 1400 BC up to about a thousand BC. And it worked because every single citizen was taught the law. And they were personally accountable to God to follow the law. So this period of history is called the Hebrew republic. And these calvinist puritan scholars study this so intently that they were nicknamed Christian hebrews. So in 1517, Martin Luther starts the reformation and for about a century before the age of enlightenment, you have these scholars in Europe studying, not just the Bible in their own language, but this particular first 400 year period, this Hebrew republic. And that's why they taught Hebrew at Yale and Harvard. They were amazed at coming up with a form of government without a king. And again, it's based on this idea that you teach everybody the law and then everybody walks around aware that they're accountable to a God who's watching them watch them to be fair and it's going to hold them accountable in the future.

Who are blessed or whatever to be making a lot of money and so on. They know that things have changed. I have a friend who drives one of this very little test Mercedes Benz cars. And two days ago I was talking to and said, I just play dozens in this room. I used to work two and lessons for the same amount of petrol. He feels it. He sees it. It is touching you. Yesterday, there's a lot you do. What did this the words just keep me off? I think what is the deal? There's a whole lot of confusion over whether or not transport face have been increased, have not been increased to be increased and so all of this. I can't indications of what is happening in the national economy. One of the other indicators about what is happening in the national economy is simply the fact that we have started the long march to Washington. The long run to go and paint with international once you find you have messy on us and to give us some more things for us to survive in the entry. Welcome here a better indication of what is happening in the economy. And this long march to the offices of the IMF in Washington. That's a great indication. Now, for me, that indication is perhaps the most worried. That indication is a one which clearly indicates that we have reached the level of desperation. Now word was said that. We have been to this institution suddenly two times already. Without any good results, what if the Russian in the 18 time it must be an act of desperation? It must be like the German boy could actually own to a straw. That's why we have reached. That's how bad things are. Now, there are like decisions. And this indications do not come from me. They do not come from the last London democratic congratulations not come from the CPP and so on. They come from listen to government. World government went into the positions with organized labor. Now we can't increase some of these yet. Because the money is simply not there if we do that, it's an amount of committing society. So after a lot of hybrid and so on, government finally agreed to give 4%. But then, as usual, please get exposed. Then it came out that as a 71 officer of this we're going to take in excess. Of 7% in case in salaries. So additionally, the labor front started, threats of nationwide strikes started as well. Government reluctantly not accused of 7% and so on. All these indications that things are not going well. Okay. Now, there's a question which all of us have to answer. I don't think that there's anybody on this panel. Who would argue, look all of us in the face and argue that things are going well. Nobody on this panel would do that. Unless perhaps my brother and friend saloon would want to shock me in this money. I don't think that my brother is that wicked, you know? It's not going to give me a shock this morning. So he was going to admit that this is not well. Charlie Describes the WEF's 'Reset' Plans

"There is an organization called the World Economic Forum. It involves government leaders, leaders of business, cultural leaders, politicians, you name it all up and down the gamut and they meet in Davos once a year, all about how they consider world governments, business, strategies together to try and create a one world government, a one world strategy, if you will. Now, unfortunately, there's been some people that have attended the World Economic Forum over the last decade that would shock you, Rick Warren, for example, was a presenter at the World Economic Forum from saddleback church, where he said globalism will only be possible if the American church goes along with it. Now, I'm not here on a crusade against Rick Warren, wrote one of the most impactful books on Christianity of the last generation. But it does deserve to be mentioned when we talk about this that some of the most vocal and high profile pastors in America have been aiding and assisting the World Economic Forum over the last decade. So what do they want? Well, you read right here in the book, they want a reset. Okay? But then the logical question should be, how can you reset something if it's not broken? So you gotta break it first. And that's what you're living through right now.

What Makes America Exceptional? Bill Federer Explains

"Bill, I've been following you for years. We've shared so much time together. You have the ability to be able to analyze the arc of history and then be able to apply it to today. I've asked you this question before in our podcast. But I think it's really important for our audience to hear this. What makes America different and exceptional from a biblical standpoint and historical standpoint is America like every other nation that's been on the face of the earth and if not, why? In answer to that, I decided I would research every century of recorded human history to see what the most common form of government was. So I went back to Sumerian cuneiform on clay tablets and the elamites and the Persians and the Greeks and Romans and the most common form of government in world history is kings. Hands down, it's kings. Nimrod tower Babel pharaoh Caesar's power wants to concentrate into the hands of one person. It's no different than you put some kids on a playground and one's the bully. You put them junior high girls in a clique and one of them is the diva. You put some people in the Woods, one of them's an Indian chief. You put them in an inner city, one of them is a gang leader. And all the king is, is a glorified gang leader. And it's a hierarchical system. If you are friends with the king, you are more equal. If you are not friends with the king, you are less equal. And if you're an enemy of the king, you're a slave or you're dead. Well, I thought slavery started in 1619. No, wherever you had the first king on top you had slaves on the bottom. And this model continued with technological advancements, kings could kill more people, right? So instead of cane killing neighbor with a stone, they're killing with a bronze weapon or an iron weapon or a failing spear, similar sword gunpowder. The weapon improves, but it's that same fall in nature, it can't kill enable. And also with technological advancements, kings could track more people. Do you know Augustus Caesar wanted to have a worldwide tracking system? It was called a census that was like modern technology 25 BC, right? He wanted to count. If he could have had 5G and cell phones and cameras, he would attract him that way. But as the centuries go on, the king of England had the biggest empire that Planet Earth had ever seen, 13 million square miles, half a billion people. Anyway, the sun never set on the British Empire, the king of England was a globalist. He was a one world government guy with him at the top and America's founders decided they didn't like this one world government guy telling us what to do. We broke away and flipped it. And made the people the king.

The Seed and Soil Argument With Historian Bill Federer

"1700s and all of a sudden Britain is in a little bit of trouble and they start to have to tax the colonies, expand more on the seed and soil argument that led us to the culmination of the 1770s. It's interesting so the British, the king of England, went on to become the most powerful king on Planet Earth. If he was a globalist, he was a one world government guy. And so in the middle 1700s, they controlled Bengal and Bengal India, Bengal, India, and they basically took over and said, okay, all this, you know, subsistence farming and stuff you've been doing working to switch it up. We know how to do this. And they change, they change their economy so much that there was a drought and it turned into a famine and 10 million people died in Bengal in the middle to late 1700s. And so the British East India Company has gone bankrupt and so they go to the king say, hey, we want to tax Britain and the people in Britain said no way. And so the king says, okay, well, you can tax the colonies. And it started to escalate and the king wanted to take away our ability to print our own money, take away our ability to appoint judges. So all the judges were appointed by the king and but he didn't realize that, by the way, king George the third went insane. He had porphyria, a blue blood disease. You know, you intermarry the preserve the royal bloodline. Uncle daddy. But anyway, so the king of England was a globalist and America's founders decided they didn't like this global as king telling us what to do. So they broke away and flipped it and made the people the king. So the word citizen is Greek, it means co king, co ruler, co sovereign. So kings have subjects who are subjected to their will, Republicans and democracies have citizens. And so if you're a citizen of America, you are a co ruler, you're a

Joe Biden Clumsily Attempts to Execute the 'New World Order'

"Is clumsily and imprecisely executing on the new world order. Now, when you say that phrase new world order, you're usually called the conspiracy theorist. People say, ah, there's no such thing as the new world order, what do you like? Some sort of rapper where you put it in the song about Illuminati or whatever. Well, the new world order is now a phrase that is being repeated by people who just recently had the world government summit. So you could always count on us on this program to keep eyes on this globalist program coming up in late May, by the way. I believe May 22, May 23, May 24, is Davos two. Is that the World Economic Forum is going to have its official meeting and boy, we're going to be monitoring that very closely on this program. And you know what's interesting is most of the corporate media ignores it. Why? Maybe because they want actually what they're doing, they just don't want to get there as quickly. Well, the world the government summit manages to use the phrase new world order and it's opening in under 30 seconds. Play cut three. And the title of this session. Are we ready for a new world order? Well, that didn't take long. Right into it. Now the question is, are we ready? Joe Biden was supposed to be the guy that was the bridge. The problem and everybody knows this, at least everybody with an Obama and around those circles is that it's hard to execute the new execute the new world order. If you're about to lose, the House representatives in the most historic fashion since 1930. If you're about to get blown out of the water in every state local level, it's going to set back the globalist new world order agenda rather significantly.

"Listening So break your lines in the Bloomberg this time from the bank of Japan the governor saying that the individual market operations don't directly impact foreign exchange and that the end has weakened on rising energy prices and sort of the fed and dollar buying generally has pushed the currency lower currently looking at one 21 64 intraday off by two fifths of 1% over a 5 day chart and intraday we're off by 1% We keep a close eye on this over the next hour The only objective in the meantime for OPEC plus is to maintain oil supply to the market and ensure it's affordable That's according to the UAE's energy minister sohan mazroui He spoke to Bloomberg from the world government summit here in Dubai We have one objective only which is trying to maintain the supply to the market and ensure that that supply is affordable Nowadays when the geopolitics heads in we also the price is going higher And we are increasing the production gradually according to a plan but we can not under any circumstances see a replacement for 10% of the world's production Right That's from oil guys as well So I don't think practically if we bring politics into the organization we can help the consumers Well you say you would like to help the consumers whatever.

"Saying that that would diffuse Little world government and that would have no control over it and you wouldn't have any possible. She wouldn't have any of this nonsense anymore because no would have the virus and in any event. This virus hasn't even been isolated apparently in the lab And one pathologist in canada said What we have is is just a virulent flu. There is no nineteen at such is just a real flu. And this was a pathologist in canada. So what do you make of that. Well i think that's what i was trying to say to. That's ouchi cheese in the united states. Overstated the lethality. Or the death rate for the china of virus in fact this is not a particularly deadly virus. It isn't and so We've all it is a plan to make in that. In that sense it was done intentionally. China-made out financially very well. Drug companies have made out financially. But in truth this is not a particularly deadly virus. And the other truth is as i've said we know how to cure and we know how to prevent getting the virus disease so a lot of we have a lot of true medical science and facts. Why is it all going on. Why has the government still been able to push mandates and green passports and enroll the other crazy things going on. There were still lockdowns making Kids in schools where mass and now in the united states. The most horrendous thing is forcing children to get the vaccines of all the segments of our population that do not need to get acclimated. A finger answer to you is why is because people let them. I took the vaccines. Because i'm selfish. I wanted to your travel. But it's because if you come on the tv or companies that you do. Oh you're not not. I'm from the national health service In it can kill millions. That's the first thing you do is penny. And that's why we let them do eight because they can do it. And i mean come back to how the virus started and i think that wasn't virus. I mean always fought at the beginning wasn't one now Was one but it started off in the laboratory surely between the bachelor pigs in that's how it started and how spread is because none of the country should down the buddhist within two free weeks might summon and that's how split and the rest of the jaman it was engineered. There's no doubt in my mind that this virus call it. The china virus was intentionally genetically engineered to create a kind of contagious deadly virus and to some extent. They did a good job. There's no doubt that some people do dine. Obviously we have big numbers. People have died from getting a cold virus now. It always preventable but still some people have died and we now have an understanding of why some people are dying and others on not But that involves talking a lot about medical science right. Well the book the kobe. Nineteen great resets published by foreign publishing claim to have been authored by cloche bob and his sidekick teary kerry mallory or maller eighth. "Them standing on different levels of a step. When i see these these pictures of them getting their metal wearing a mask the contempt. I have for the world's government for the world's media and the world's medical authorities is so deep that i would say the pick. The pictures of the athletes wearing masks were getting. Metals is the symbol of our time that we have sunk into the irrational. That's what leads people to hate the unvaccinated. The the the swimming in the world of lies that has taken place leading to this idiocy of medal-winners having to wear a mask is the one person listening to this show. Who thinks that's a good idea who thinks it's it's really. It's a real health precaution. Not one of the olympic athletes is listening to this show. Nevertheless some family members might please tell them. Don't wear a mask when you get the metal. This is the the high. I think it'll be a bigger high if you get married. Maverick child frankly. But it'll be the high of your athletic life very few get a chance to win a second medal and another olympics. And keep a destabilized so they can continue to do so just like with syria. Or they're going to dig further in and it's just gonna continue on. This is horrific. But this is a microcosm this is a nutshell of what these governments are. Oh on top of that just in case you were curious. Us sanctioning thirty four companies over ties to china. Russia iran just companies that work with other countries but bad guy countries. So you're bad now. You are allowed to work with china. Russia iran. Not at all. you can't even have ties. Business ties to a person in china. Russia iran vallone the government. You can't you're sanctioned who has the right to do this apparently the world government of the united states because they can just hand down illegal sanctions because understand. There are legal. Because i don't know why you think you can get down sanctions to companies outside orients. I mean look if it's american companies. Yes but we've seen them do this to iranian companies to russian companies. Why do they feel. They have the right to sanction companies outside the us government because they believed they have that right around the world just like israel's continued to say we can do things like this around the world. International laws and apply. That's a direct quote coming from the israeli government. Here you go same thing and guess what's going to only make that worse the great reset the public private government of the world that's continuing to grow out of the cesspool of the us and israel's government and everything else that's growing it and that's going to become the same thing only openly stated now. We can do this because we are the world government even though that's what they're doing now well bringing this over into censorship. A little bit of mainstream media discussion which will bring us into covert nineteen. I just wanted to point out allison. Just got sensor on youtube for discussing. It was with matt. I believe and they discussed the fact that as the title says corporate news can break youtube rules. Right weirdly enough. It's under medical misinformation policy. So they're talking about a mainstream can break the rules about inpatient and it's like well medical miss so it's medical misinformation to report that the mainstream media is allowed report medical information. And those six corporations are all controlled by Communists who hate America. So whether you're on social media, or whether you're watching mainstream media, you are being controlled and influenced by China. The truth about renting religious leaders. "Thought. Just gonna fall off but in. That is something i mean. Are we being programmed. Eddie is society now being programmed to walk into the world of what they want us to be is this going into a generational type of deployment of of not only concern but one of just well. What the hell's next. I think that we are being programmed for something far greater in the eyes of the politicians then life and death and covert. I think we're being programmed to be more of a sheep wool type society where we just kind of follow the leader of the herd. Don't ask no questions don't back talk do as you're told and life is good if you have a mind of your own you're punished. I think that's where we're headed. And we're headed into that one world government that everybody's been talking about the one world government where everybody will be controlled by a single person at the top. That already is happening in north korea. Right now if you look at that regime any that is not that is not a country run by the people. It is run by dictator and a tarantula one at that now. Tom says if any government offers you a lottery ticket for the possibility of winning one million. But you have to take a vaccine experimental at that because it hasn't been tested for five to ten years. Would you do it. Not i and tom says its population. Control my friend. Andy says And the only problem with that is human. Nature just doesn't work that way. Well i think this is an experiment. Andy and if you look closely it does and i'm gonna tell you why you live here in texas as well not too far from where i live and if you drive around look at all the people who were still wearing that mask even though our governor has set take it off but because the biden administration has been pushing for everybody to keep wearing it. Some of these people keep weren't keep wearing a mask for no reason and like i said earlier..

"60 wjr. Here's Today's guest host Chris, Alberta. We open this morning talking about the giant economic lead that we had had under President Trump even in the midst of covert and how many of those numbers now are starting to turn and we're seeing. We're seeing a lot of scary things got catching up with us. 805 90957 phone lines are open. Let's go to Dean and pet water. What's up, Dean? Crest. Good show could topic I'm gonna sound perhaps like I'm wearing a tinfoil hat. But as I look across the landscape, a couple of key issues occur to me that's kind of frightening. The number one issue that occurs to me, I suppose, is We are Was completely even abandoned, providing any lip service Watch West legislation, But any lip service to the debt we're pushing it. Real art on 30 trillion We're getting to the point now where I think everybody is kind of whistling past the graveyard with the understanding that realistically this doesn't get paid back. So I think I think our politicians are beginning to grapple with that fact that's issue one issue to there's now some new conversations between the World Bank Theo United Nations that we need to create anything Democrats were talking about this. We need to create a global minimum income tax, so countries like Ireland that did it years ago. They put in an 11% income tax and attracted a bunch of businesses to run over the headquarter themselves in Ireland to save some money. The cool doesn't like that, and we want as a one world government to create this. I feel like I feel like we're trying to tip over this economy. What's the run up the numbers? What? Why are we doing all this? Dean? You're not alone, man. I think that you know your second. I think the second point you made there in terms of a globalization of tax and in a one world currency type system. That's where you suggest that maybe it's a little tinfoil hat ish, but You know what would be interesting is toe toe. Maybe tinker with the idea that if everyone was chipping in to help the countries they couldn't help themselves. Maybe America wouldn't have to disproportionately help them to the degree that we spend trillions of dollars that we don't have. It might be a better deal for us, but I'll tell you one Dean, you hit the nail on the head in your first point. This is the problem with Republicans specifically who did not come for the first time in history, last time to the table with a platform Fiscal conservatism, how to handle the debt. How do not rack up the debt? How to be pro business how to limit taxation, especially on the massive fluid who already paying 90% of the tax in the country used to be their calling card. Where is that? It's absent, because now everyone's about so hard to the altar of trumpism. They have forgotten what being a Republican is supposed to mean. Doesn't that make sense? She's great call from Dean Mark in Detroit. What's going on Mark? Hey, Great. Thanks to take my car. Great topic. Um, this was this. This is an awesome topic. And it's something that every American, in my opinion should be talking about. Christine, you've made the statement of does any of this. Makes sense that you know any of the policies that this administration is making. You asked the question. Does any of it makes sense and in the answer is absolutely not these people, the Democrats. They hate this country. They don't love this country. They despise it. Our all of our accomplishments. All of our accolades. Everything we've done throughout history. They despise it. They feel that if we cheated to get it, we don't deserve it. And we shouldn't be first. We should be last. Um, you know, they feel that You know, it's very evident with the policy of this administration is making that you know, we ship this country should be, you know, category remain in your college is kind of hinted to it physical things that they're doing. They wanted it imploded from within. They want to make this country put us in a position where we will never be able to come back to our former glory, Marx. Listen, I love your passion. And I think that I don't think you're entirely wrong. But I want to challenge you on something. I'd like to ask you to stand in line so I could get a response. Okay? I don't. I don't think the Democrats as a general rule hate the country. I really don't. I think most of them think that the country is good. I mean, what is good if we define good? I got money to buy groceries. I connection Since spend some time with my wife and my kids. I can play a little golf. I can have a little house with a picket fence. Those of the things that the country gives me the ability to do. I think they think it's good, but they have always seemed to want to redefine and make it great, or at least what they vision they envision as great. The problem with their vision of great is that in in the effort to make it Great. They often sabotaged the foundational things that make it good in the first place. Does that make sense? Mark? I see where you're going. I see exactly where you're going. And what I meant by the hate this country is this The idea that we've always had this country that America our exceptionalism. They despised that they don't feel way don't deserve to be exceptional. We don't deserve to be the one the world lone Super, the world's lone superpower. We don't deserve that. And you know that that is the part of the country that they hate. They won't listen to remake it and to a socialist Marxist. Utopia. And that's what I mean by they hate this country they have with our founding and you know our place. We feel way were on topping President Trump. We're putting us back. You know, in the market that we listen, Roll, it's Let's leave it it. Let's leave it at this and move on. I would tell you I don't think that devastate the country. I think they underappreciate how how great we've really We really been less fit. One more in Cannes in Livonia. What's up, Ken? Well, someone who used to be a very supporter, the Democrat Party. I'd say I disagree with the idea that the Democrat um Don't hate America..

Myanmar Erupts in Protests After Military Coup

"Seeing members of the civilian government arrested on military vehicles back on the move has sent a shudder of apprehension across Myanmar people. The BBC has contacted their have spoken of their fear about what comes next. The military coup has taken the outside world by surprise, too. The United States government has announced it will rethink its decision on sanctions, which were lifted in light of the moves towards democracy since 2010 at night people in towns and cities in Myanmar bang pots and pans in protest of the military takeover. Jonathan head. Military coups. Real hunters taking over with uniforms, lots of braid and tanks on the streets. It becomes such an aberration that when they do happen, there is always an element of disbelief. It's as though a part of our breakneck technology driven world is suddenly catapulted back Toe a bad movie from the 19 seventies. One that took place in Mama on Monday was especially baffling as it was carried out by an army which had designed the Democratic system it over through and it kept so much political power under it. Coup seemed unnecessary. And it deposed, uncensored uchi, a leader once idolized as a fearless champion of freedom but who in defending the military against charges of genocide was then denounced as a fallen angel. Gamma is a fearfully complicated country with a history, which has bean traumatic even by Southeast Asia's turbulence standards. Get the rest of the world has bean unable to see it this way because of the overpowering draw of a woman veiled in a mythical aura, combining fragile femininity with steely resolve magnetic charm. With imperious detachment. She was the stuff of fairy tales, holding out a loan against an antediluvian and brutal military and eventually cajoling them into giving the Burmese people free elections. And in huge numbers, they chose her. That narrative, though, has been hard to square with the woman who also appeared callously insensitive to the horrors endured by Muslim RA hinges on her watch. Now we're being asked to reengage with uncensored DCI in military custody Once more. I've seen lively debates among engaged Burma watches over whether she should be supported again as the imprisoned symbol of her people's democratic aspirations. Or not, because of the many undemocratic impulses she showed, is the country's defacto leader. How did we get so focused on this one person in a country of 55 million and in a region with so many other woeful tales of injustice that deserve our attention. Partly it's about timing. Went on sans Souci first emerged as a political figure in 1988 on what was supposed to be a short trip home from Britain, where she lived with her British husband and two sons, Burma as it was then called Was little known trapped in military imposed isolation. A terrible repression of the protest movement. She led on the start of her long incarceration coincided with the collapse of communism in Europe and the rise of a new World order. In which it was hoped Western or U. N. Led intervention could write many of the world's wrongs. She was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1991, just a year after the release of Nelson Mandela from prison, and it was hard not to see similarities in their dignity and fortitude. Like Mandela, uncensored cheese. Long periods of isolation under house arrest meant that few got to know her well, and the world instead projected an ideal ized version onto a complex and difficult personality. She came to embody the optimistic belief that the arc of history in the memorable phrase used by President Obama, whose visit to Myanmar marks the high point of uncensored cheese reputation. Was bending inevitably towards democracy and freedom. Fast forward to this year, and all that optimism has long since dissolved in the disappointments in Afghanistan and Iraq in a global financial crash in bitterly polarized politics. And now a pandemic. Few believe anymore in the kind of miracles that Myanmar's transition to democracy was once thought to be. United Nations Security Council, the embryonic world government that never, Watts has mastered a statement of concern over Mama, which failed even to mention the coup the illegal overthrow of an elected government. On San Souci is now being charged with the laughable a fence of possessing illegal walkie talkies. That will be enough, though for the hunter to disqualify her from the new election. It's promising to hold eventually. Have done this to her before, but she is now 75 years old. If she manages another political reincarnation, the generals are betting she'll no longer be the resolute figure they've bean unable to beat for so long. And perhaps it's time for all of us. Even the party she founded and has dominated for more than three decades to let go of the woman. They still call Mother Sue and the Lady. And to seek younger personalities who can chart Myanmar's future.

"Days ago. We observed the thirty fifth anniversary of the space shuttle. Challenger's bush in the killed seven brave astronauts and a chance to actually get into that. I just thought it kind of bring the room down and it would it. Would basically a habit gets reflect back on the failure that the shuttle program eventually became. I'm man i'm and it's arguable. That the shuttle missions were a failure but it just Conversations before with people who said it's the equivalent of taking a bus out of the garage. Hang around the earth a couple times. That's all it was but you know it was interesting. At least the space program had something going on at the time. And i thought it would. I even met a shuttle astronaut Good guy Just that by the time We had a conversation on a cable channel about moon landing in. I didn't like each other afterwards. And i i didn't. I didn't wanna cause trouble with him. In fact he was just an amazing astronaut. Let's astronaut my god guys space. You know pro. You know again. I look at astronauts. It's like i. I'd look at a veteran. Or i look at a soldier who fights. I mean they got more than i do. I sit studio. And gripe all the time but i just you know. I was amazed by The he was not my first astronaut. I've met a few Never met buzz aldrin or ordeal armstrong. Or anybody like that. A few shuttle astronauts. I've i've met a former nasa. Well no i interviewed chuck cernan but i was never. I interviewed him over the phone. So i i don't know i just have an affinity for space i i i love it because of course i love the topic of aliens. Ufo's avi lopburi more. We come on. Space travels amazing. I mean we'd star trek star wars. These are things. I really like And you know noticing too. I grew up in utah. Where more than fire call was twenty miles away thirty miles away from where i lived and this is where the rings were made for the space shuttle program of course the failed challenger explosion was because of the ordering problems were more than thiokol and only two failures in the whole space shuttle program where people were killed. Astronauts were killed. No real new information though. That was out there and You know and we kept being promised this was just you know the shuttle program was going to be used to not only take the bus out for a dry but it was also going to be used to go to the space station and bring astronauts food and stuff and now well for the longest time we were contracting russia. We're having a deal with russia to send astronauts to the space shuttle to the space station to well actually said food to the space as well and i thought why are we relying on russia in and this whole nonsense about how russia was our enemy and everything. They're our enemy. Why are they helping us with our space program. Just didn't make any sense. But yeah i mean looking back at our field. Space programs is important. Indicate that president. Barack obama crippled dass his efforts to send astronauts beyond low earth orbit. When obama came into office. he didn't want a number of other. Presidents have done to determine their goals for nasa. He formed a presidential commission to study the space agency and then he came up with some recommendations so he you a committee the committee. You basically. you're saying well. I think there are far more important things. We need to invest our money. And so i'm gonna cut your budget. You know basically what area. We're gonna bring you altogether. Cut your budget. So you're going to have to deal with you know whatever that's all it's been cutting budget and budget cutting and and And so that's why you have now space x that's why you have You know these other companies visas and others who want to do space because you know space has been neglected. The budgets have been neglected in our government for some time but we had a lot of conservative presidents like george w bush and of course donald trump. Who said yeah. We're all the speech program. Let's get it going. And the reason why is because there's brooke obama once said and this is one of the reasons why he basically said no to you know exorbitant budgets for space. He says well. You know spaces. In america. First issue. And we should be more universal. We she wore. We wore worldly with our concepts in our conquest of space. We need to do you know we didn't do it all together as a world. It's a it's a world bring people together in a world government or world philosophy. I think reagan kinda hinted to what he said. You know our differences worldwide would vanish. We were facing an alien threat from outside of this world but that was an alien threat. That was the idea that if there were aliens out there wanting to eat us then we would certainly band together as a group. I mean that's what independence day was all about right. See the independence day. Movie or armageddon were nasa saves the day. You know it's time and time again. We get told it. Our space program is amazing. Well yeah they do amazing things. But it's not as amazing as it used to be. I mean lockheed. Martin ceo norm augustine Headed up the augustine commission during the obama administration actually was named after maga sanofi headed up with the. It's called the augustine commission and basically they returned with a set of recommendations after few wants convening during the obama administration so the commission found the program then in existence project constellation was not execute under any reasonable

"It helps raise the ratings for the show and get the show out to a wider audience. Okay with all that said and without any further ado here is professor daniel judy. Well it's a great pleasure to have on the show today Professor daniel dude duty the author of a new book dark skies exploring the question of man's political relationship to the question of space expansion now before we get started today. I was actually trying to remember. The first time that i came across professor duties work and i think it was actually when i was reading an early piece by alex went on the world's state this is of course before alex was famous constructivist and in that piece he was discussing a sort of teleological argument to do with globalization on the inevitability of a world state. And in this piece he borrows from professor disney to discuss. How the spread of nuclear weaponry creates this kind of teleological pressure for a world government..

"Charlotte servers reporting the lights resembled how a flame would look flickering in the dark, which may mean it could be Chinese lanterns or something else. The initial thought was their helicopters, maybe black helicopters, but still, it's a trio of life that were blue. That showed up in the photos The photo of posted on Facebook string of Lights senior Charlotte, North Carolina. The UFO debate is back on because sightings are happening everywhere, and we wanted to share that with you. By the way, you know, these sightings certainly are becoming more frequent. And maybe we'll do a show with UFO reporting center. Who knows we could do that or or something else. But the meantime one of the calls 50322508 60. It's 503. 22508 60. I want to go to David calling from Alabama High David Young Ground zero. Thank you for a good show. Quiet on, joy it by after night. My point. Is this? I believe, regardless of whether we find out this is some advanced level today, Technology or It'll even technology, but the one boulders and the globalist will use this. To advance the agenda is you've been telling us You are headed Bull. Stay my hood toward the great race set and they want a one. World government and they might tell us why we're faced. If this Iranian threat Levers together. Uh, Have to join together in order to be able to meet this and the only way we could afford. Do it. Just do it with the great race it and the nations. Coming together, you know, under Yeah. Yeah. You know, the more I think about it. Remember the show we did about H G Wells the other night. David being talked about how great and he said so and we were talking about, uh, Jay was talking about how Wells was talking about everything that has happened, including a war of the worlds and alien invasion. That was always in the cards that was at the turn of the 20th century. Not the 21st. This is the 20th century. Are you saying that alien invasion would be, uh, would be important to unify? The people will see. And here's another thing That's interesting is that when he wrote things to come He actually was talking about a Tekken Agassi in the 19 thirties, there would be led by a authoritarians leader. Now what he was seeing was World War two. But he also talked about the creeping sickness that would plague everybody that the government would use it to try and bring people together for this world government. And of course, he didn't talk about the aliens. But then that's always dangling out there. It's not just the aliens. You're right. I'll tell you. I'll tell you why I'm kind of leaning towards what you're saying tonight. You're saying that even though it's not alien technology It will be used to get us to unite. And the reason why I think you're onto something here. Is because what is the great reset but a technocracy? What is the great reset but to actually convince us into becoming more trans human How could that be done by saying that the only way for us to prepare for the arrival of whoever is out there if it is out there at all would be conditioning us into being more trans human. You go back to Arthur C. Clarke's book Childhoods in and That is exactly what the The overlords or the over mind or the crowd crawling crawling are getting think of his name. He was it was, it was the head alien that looked like a demon and that he wanted everybody. We needed to condition the people to be prepared for this. And you know, and Heck, maybe maybe all these science fiction writers were seating us for this eventual apocalypse of a new alien revelation or a technocratic, uh, take over with the new World order. Clark. What's going that I find interesting is years back the power Who was talking about the people that apart The new world Order. This is something you also have brought out. They were very, very strange sense of morality. That right think they've got to tell you. What they're going to do down the road, but They do it using code words. So if you figure out or you know, just as you have, thankfully well to your audience. With these code words, man. Then you can know which direction We're going in, right? It was carillon. I knew I was screwing up the name. It's Carell and I had to look it up because I was like I was saying Colella narc, but it's crawling. Crawling was the alien that when he showed himself People were shocked at what he looked like and he was set and he gave the news is what the future would hold. And it was a good future for the people of Earth. It was good for the kids, but not for the people who were so Yeah, You do have a very, very interesting point, especially after the H G Wells show, especially after the show with Timmy Schwartz and now tonight show And the revelation of of these possible patents for these types of weapons. I just think that it's an amazing doctor connecting. Thank David. Thank you So much for the call. Let's go to Bill in California. Hi, Bill. You're on ground zero. Hello. What you said, is what I've been waiting to talk about for about 10 years and I've been thinking about 20 years. These Children in the Pentagon after World War two food for Tony in experiments and those small bodies found in laws well in the crash, recovering That's how they dispose of the little bodies. Now you need small people. If they're gonna use this kind of aerodynamic crap that was designed in collaboration with the Nazis and the Pentagon. Children are the last on the totem pole. One comes to the Pentagon's priorities and we are in the age right now. We're Children are going to be used that way. Now. These were orphaned Children. Faster Children. So that was the monster in the closet that they were raided their real woz and, uh, I also wanted to mention That when you mentioned Are they raising an extraterrestrial connection? Because they wanted to appear that way? Yes..

"Continue on this nightcap kind of a switch of gears here a little bit a little bit more serious topic, although I love Chewing the fat with J. Armstrong. I hope you enjoyed to our guest now is Colonel David Jim, Mona and you be asking herself? Well, who is Colonel David? Jim? Well, I'll tell you We should be patient we got say, Keep your pants on. Colonel David, you, Mona. A veteran. Obviously was had the rank of colonel. Has written a book co authored with Banning Troy Anderson. Hold the military guide to Armageddon and he joins us and I said that this is a serious topic. On I believe, as many others believe if there was any time that would be close to the end times we're seeing perhaps just The dawning of it. Although some people say the sun's already up and the numbers up soon, But Colonel David Ramona, welcome to the program. Various a pleasure to be with you. And I really look forward. It is coming. Intense discussion. My hopefully it'll be a learning one for some people is well, yeah. You know, there are a lot of people who have written self survival books over the years. On Do they involve building shelters and storing food and water? And now all of those things could possibly be a good idea. But When you're talking about preparing for the end times, your life and your soul. It's quite a different thing than hunkering down in a shelter with all kinds of ammo, right? Yes, we do. Talk at the end on I think it is important TOC stock up on items that you know, in natural disasters and things that are striking is that we do talk about that. Because you know the army itself. We go to war. Without logistical support. We're not gonna do anything. Um, So yeah, it's important. But the most important thing is our soul. Our spiritual, mental, emotional. Add things they're going on within us in order for us to really survive the end times. Yeah. For, for example, give give the audience some notion of your military background where you served and what you learned there. Well, you know, it's my military experience is over 32 years I'm seeing combat in, uh, in Desert storm in Saudi Arabia. And in Iraq in and of Afghanistan and and some of the jungles of Central America with the Sandinistas. I've seen what war does. What he can do to people how to affect you and How to prepare for it, and I want to do while bullets are flying over your head. So, yeah, I've had a lot of shows. I received the Bronze star for actions in Iraq and I'm not Afghanistan. Legion of Merit and other metals that you know, tell people you have seen some of the things I understand it. And I understand how to prepare people for it. Yes. But they're seeing that is no Oh, is no comparison. Really, to the spiritual battle that we're undergoing. I believe right now. I believe we've been living in a war zone. For Or thousands of years, and we're about to see it Z in and it's gonna be a really intense time. How do people get ready? If these are truly the end times and the other philosophical spiritually question I have for you, Colonel, is No Jesus can come back for us at any time. And and it may happen differently for different people. I mean, isn't that true? Well, you know, first of all going back. We have been in spiritually war since the fall of Adam and need going back thousands of years, and it's been paralleled on this planet. In fact, Of the on human history when we had 268 years of actual peace, physical pacing in the midst of war, So you're exactly right. We've had spiritually war dark powers. The god of this world is Satan and you know that's not read the devil in the red costume in the pitch work. That's a guy personage that's playing multi dimensional chest while we're playing checkers. Um so we're up against an adversary that's very powerful and real. And bringing AH lot of confusion and chaos to this world in the end times, So I just wanted the preface my comments by saying that And so, yeah, we're we're living in the midst of the end times, which means not the end of human existence, but the end of mankind's rule. Because Christ said he was going to come back and he was going to rule this planet as the king of Kings and Lord of Lords. And so before we get there, we're gonna have to go to some great tribulation and things they're going to be happening in the near future. But we have definitely be seen even more chaos as of late. Obviously, but we we have as human beings. And with our our limited life spans on this earth. We tend to think only in relation to what's happened in our lifetimes or what's going on right now. But if you want to look at the hole History of humanity on this planet. As you said, Sever Since the fall of Adam and Eve, we have seen continually chaos and Famine and pestilence and wars. Kinetic wars. So, but we're only influenced A lot of times. Sadly, to our own demise, I think, but just thinking of what's going on right now around us, don't you think? You know you're exactly right. But here's the difference. Um, things you're speeding up at an incredible rate. And people are writing about this isn't great authors out there writing about first wave second way through, But the technology that mankind has been dabbling in the We're doubling our knowledge, every couple of years or less. Now we have weapons out there. That was scary. The death Make the atomic bomb and nuclear bombs look like child's quite I mean, we've got we've got weapons being created. We've got technology expanding, Got cute medication about social media. We've never had that in the history of mankind, and it's all converging with signs and wonders. Plagues. Pestilence is Locusts, fires, upheavals in the political agenda and the forming of a one world government. So there's a lot of things to talk about a year. That tell us we are in the last of the last days. Yeah, the great reset, which you've heard some of these leaders used. Now I think Joe Biden's code word is or code words are build back better. Is all pointing to that one World government. One world currency kind of thing that the Bible talks about in John's revelation when we get to the end of times And this signs. Well, no man will know the hour or the day. Of the return of Jesus Christ. The signs are everywhere right now. Because of.

"Hey, that's the U. N plan to what created world One world government kind of thing. Yes. Well, you know to Ah, I mean, monsieur, I have it right here, Uh, says two nationally and locally plan of action nationally and locally. Um See, Let me start again to comprehensive plan of action to be taken globally nationally and locally by organizations of the Yoon United Nations system, governments and major groups in every area which impacts which human Mm hmm. In which human impacts on the environment. It's just says that's not quite right. But Okay? Yeah. From what I understand, Agenda, 21. It's been going on for a long time. Now. I think it's last couple decades, the local governments, state governments, federal government, a lot of them are doing this agenda. 21 thing. It's some sort of a centralized U. N program. To standardize and and centralized, more power and more control. I presume with the goal of, you know, bringing on a one world government, don't you think? Exactly Now, what do you want? Six years ago. See what you said You wanted to, like, Reset. Restart. What did you want to do? Yes, I Well, I've Uh, 56 years ago, just before Trump started. Everybody was fighting this agenda, 21 because it was being brought on. And they you know, told all the terrible things that would happen, and then Trump came along and then all our crisis is built up over the years here, and I think all these things they're just Covers to divert us from this problem of fighting agenda, 21. Okay, So what he proposed? Well, here's what I propose. Everyone. Who can should build their own home by themselves. So they don't need a mortgage and they don't use contractors are big business. Okay? And not just a home but a homestead. It's a place where you live and where you work. You do whatever is your life calling us What if your life calling is to be in a city working for calm? Well, well, that's that's okay too, because what I have in mind? Well, not exactly in a city but Um well, come to that. Okay, But how is that going to stop Agenda 21 U N plan to you know, he's got to play in here, and I meant it. I set up a homestead. Um, I did this. I had pigs and chickens. I was actually heating with wood. Um, you did everything a decades I didn't feel free any more free than I do now. Really? Government got bigger while you were doing that. It wasn't certainly wasn't quaking in its boots. Go ahead. Well, experience life experience market. That's that's what I do. I build homesteads. And I write about how I I've done this many times. I've learned many things about how you can build your own homestead for the least amount of money, of course, but a very good also hire you to build it to apparently right. No, no, no, I don't do that, Okay? I build my own home. But what about people that aren't real handy? Are you saying they should stop doing all the things that they do and learn how to be handy and and, you know, do construction. I get that a lot people saying they aren't handy. They can't possibly do it. In all list, but I have I'm an engineer. Okay on and I'm an artist builder. Great. And I have learned how to build a house that can be built by one person. That really nice house, too. Okay, But you're saying that other people should do the same thing you did. Um, yes. Okay. It's not gonna work that. What do they say? I'm a technical writer. What makes people three years even if they can do what you do, right? Like, how is that gonna solve the problem of government and coming down on all of us and taking away our freedoms? Well, Okay. Right now, I one of our crisis is here is it is so many people losing their businesses. Mm. Big girl Still taking your from now they're gonna lose their homes. Okay? Um How is the homestead going to stop that from happening? Well, you'll own it. He said. Well, you'll own the They could take it from you anyway. If you don't pay property tax. Yeah, Yeah, This is just okay. Keep going. Well, I'm saying what you what? Now this is you know my own personal preference. It can be adapted to other things, too. But here's Here's the thing. Is at a time like this, You know, a good crisis is a terrible thing to waste. It just declare bankruptcy. Uh, get out. Uh, And go pioneering. How is that going to stop the government? Because you won't have to pay any attention to him anymore. You if you if you can. What makes you think that? I mean, they're gonna come after you for property taxes today. Because, uh, Yeah, if it were only property taxes that were the problem here. Uh then things would be okay. But what? Oh, so you're fine with the government extracting, you know, using violence against people's property, threatening them stealing their property from them. That's okay with you. Uh, no. See, I don't see it that way. I'm sorry. You don't see it that way but gets that's what happens If you don't pay property taxes, they come and they threaten you. And if you don't do what they say they then steal your little homestead from you at all the hard up shit. I'm not saying Don't pay your taxes. You should pay your taxes and, well, how is that going to stop the government? Here's your problem. Number one. You got a few of them, David. I mean, I appreciate your ideas here, but number one, You're asking everybody to do what you're doing. You're gonna fail already, as if everybody has to do what the one person's idea is. You're already going to fail. There's plenty of people out there that don't wanna build their own little tiny homes, too. If you're saying the problem is with the government getting bigger and yet you say you support paying Texas you are part of the problem. You're enriching these people and you're encouraging them. Every dollar you pay to them. You're encouraging them. The problem here is the centralization.

You got my mind work, All right. You're talking about 105 flat top and then you said The Chinese are paying all these people in government positions. And it hit me that No, we are paying these people when these government positions using a third party, the Chinese, the Chinese are loaning us money. Were paying interest on this. The crazy he's crooked politicians. Yeah, no, no Doubt and again. The difference is he had trump with America. First, you have Biden with China first, and you know, Chuy, it's going to be China first, for a least the next four years, so you know, strap yourselves in. It's gonna be a wild ride. But you know what we need to do. What we need to do was put God first, because we could God back. Is that a country because the number one goal with this virus Was to take God out of everything and what has not been allowed to open the church, right? You can fly. You can fly shoulder to shoulder on an airplane, basically, but you can't go worship in the church or synagogue of your choice. It's outrageous and the number two gold The China bars. Was to take and fled. The Democrats see how easy we are to control their getting us ready for a one world government. Well, you're you're forgetting one of the things bill and I agree with you. The third goal is this was just I think. A test. The next biological weapon will be even worse. Again. I hate to say that I hate to scare people. This was just a test. So stay to take 53 traffic.

"I'll give you that. I mean, because his market I mean, I don't know how you justify that price, even if you liked even if you were high on all the technology stocks, let's just say I'm the average 55 year old and I've got my retirement savings set up and I'm like I am really high on Amazon apple. All these individual stocks and I go out there, start buying them individually, and I own the S and P 500. Have doubled down because I already have quite a bit of exposure through the S and P 500 to those stocks. It's just it's just it. Last year. The hotel industry, their stock performances that index positive in 2000 and nine Right? I can Like did this not This huge financial loss that they've suffered did not impact the value for investors now. Which which means investors are willing to pay all that much more for future earnings. Apparently, yes, that's why I should tell you that's what I would tell you is the lack of alternative. I know Scott. All I know is that Here's this week just reconfirmed again to me that you cannot time the markets. Because I fully expected when I saw people breaking into They are state. Federal governments that capital, right the cradle of democracy, and you've been there. I want to look, I've been down in the congressional dining room. I mean, e and the whole time I'm thinking I cannot pull. This is You know, Third World government. And The whole German. They could these markets they're gonna There's gotta be nothing. Nothing. I mean, not not even a road, Bob. Not even not even a time. By the way, that was it was I? I'm sure many, many, many Americans felt the same way. How disappointed too disgusting to watch that throughout the day on Wednesday, um Just it was I am. Yes. Listen to talk show There is a person who's there are protests and he was trying explain his his. But he then the radio show. Got that? So did you go into the building? He said No, I didn't go and I stayed outside. And the host is like, Well, then, obviously you didn't push support those who did because something in your head said This is not right for me to go in at this time. And what did he say? I had agree. I mean, now first, intellectually, he would be dishonest otherwise right, but Uh, manual. Anyway, this is our way. We're not gonna talk too much for the political stuff because you get enough everywhere else. But we will obviously our opinion on what's happened with the financial markets and we'll take some calls here in a moment here it all worth, But I think What If we can learn a few things based upon investments for 2020. That outside influences may or may not have an impact on the value of your investments. Correct. Over a short period of time may not, there is a total there could be a complete 100% disconnect between reality and your current investment value over a short period of time. Over ship over a long period of time. What drives the vestment banks? What they like to talk about things revert back to their mean they get back to their normal averages. They out liars on. Lee happened periodically, and things tend to get back to their norm, which is how bubbles air created the reason they call them bubbles because they look like a bubble, which means that they come back down to their averages. Right. That's that's exactly. That's what it looks like a bubble. You looking on the great That's why they price goes up. It goes back down that looks like you here. Well, what's going to prick the bubble? What's going to make it? No one knows. And no one knows what is gonna happen. And the further you get into a bubble, right? The further you get into it, too. Away from the average away from the mean Um The greater the probability of it coming, too. It's mean, it's just so strange when the fact last the fourth quarter Just about every asset class went up. Every asset class were you could look at commodities up commercial real estate. I mean everything. Yeah. At a time when Covert deaths were also going up. I mean, it's like lockdowns. They're going up and this is a strange time. Commerce is it's a great time to re balance. If you haven't re balance your portfolio in awhile. Do not let those Renner those winners run too long. Yes. At least I e. If you started 2020 thinking, I'm gonna have 60% of my portfolio and growth and and stocks and Keep 40% of more conservative things. You're probably more like 66% today. The prudent thing to do would say, Hey, why don't you get back to where I was before? And Scott What if you don't even know what you just said? What does that mean? We'll go talk to a good financial advisor, and they will do it for you. No charge your fee. Right, and you'll be more than happy to pay that fee to make sure your portfolios well balanced. Studies have shown good quality advisers earned more than the feast or Fan Guard Study and morning star study. But in any case, let's take some calls. We will Okay? Yeah. If you don't wanna come, we'll talk and we'll keep talking. "Is in a race with eurasia particularly china and russia to build the currency replacement fast and when i say currency replacement. Is that what you spoke about. Allison the whole control. Great right because the person gets there first has a tremendous or the collection of nations. That get their first has a tremendous advantage in being able to tip the other side into it. So the reason we're doing it in the west is because we're replacing bretton woods. Which was how we organized the economic activity of the world so that it benefited us. We're replacing bretton woods with this and if we can get in particular whites hitting so hard in the us and the uk and to some extent western europe although for slightly different reasons that's a tremendous amount of economic activity so that can be cohere together in the won currency replacement system. Then you get to turn around in theory to russia and china and be like what we've built this is like the new thing like a swift and kind payment infrastructure that we've previously used for the last seventy s to the race to do that. I write hanger. Why am i talking about this. What was the question again. Why is disclosure in ufology part of the great reset as part of that. I'm hedge funds and that invest in china of being bullied out of doing so because it's about pulling money out of it and hearing it into the new system now this probably does lead to war and understandably for his very good historical reasons china and russia will quickly have nothing to do with this system and i think that's why they built what china is technically a little bit ahead in the central bank digital county replacement in russia. Got their first vaccine. Which if i ever get the choice. I will take before the other ones because it might just be sailing and if you look at what they're doing with the ufo's. I think as is always the case when you see these kind of like silly disclosure movements out of pentagon pentagon adjacent programs. I think it is pointed at the anglo american's enemies which is to say. We are serious enough about this that we will roll out the flying sources if we need to so. I think that's where going along with a great reset. We have oldest kind of like more disclosure blah blah blah blah stuff. It's because this oh series about replacing bretton woods with these new agenda twenty thirty world that they are prepared to go to war with russia and china about it and the series about that war that they will use a bunch of the military infrastructure. That we aren't supposed to know exists so you could see the same thing happening with the two thousand sixteen election where there was that. Your first definitely is your phone movies. Which is clearly anticipating a clinton presidency and maybe even a war with russia. Then we the same thing. now. And it's is i can tell the same usual signaling of we will use exotic technology on you and say it's as part of that general positioning. That's my read on. Why this you stuff is happening now. Yeah i mean. I think that's a good read. It actually came up in your astrology forecast with austin but the language that they're using in some of these threads is basically the aliens wanna meet you but they want humanity to be united. I in other words. We need a one world government and yet so that's probably a big part of it. Maybe the flying saucers will help the empire beat the resisting nations into the fold of that one world government. Yeah i think. That's like galactic federation stuff and reagan senate in eighties. It's the same idea right of using this fiction..

At least at least and more. Because i lied to say it but that half the people in the world are just total garbage. Trucks and support hideous shitting. I feel like that's better than what you originally thought. Didn't you think that. I thought i thought at least ninety eight percent. But i didn't think that. I didn't think that people would support it as as vociferously as we're seeing. Yeah yeah it's terrifying. Yeah that's what. I didn't think i thought people would. At least i know. And i thought that there were certain things like like. I even saw that video. I even saw the video again. Donald trump making fun of handicap reporter. And i did think that people would love to support him even after that and just seeing that half the world loves that kinda shit and wants to be. Those people. is terrifying. Automakers Race To Bring Electric Pickup Trucks To Market

"At the moment it is impossible to buy electric pickup. That's about to change though. Automakers from tesla and general motors ford driven and lordstown are all racing to bring them to market. npr's camilla domanski reports if you've been watching automakers promotional videos. You might know that. The hummer ev is a thousand horsepower. Pickup that can turn all four wheels to drive diagonally with no limits no emissions and no equals the electric f. One fifty can toe of freight train the train in a tug of war between a traditional trucking. Tesla's cyber truck or lordstown endurance. The electric pickup wins all these stunts designed to make the case. That in electric pickup truck is a better pickup truck and the potential market here is big the best selling vehicle in the. Us is a pickup. The second best selling vehicle is a pickup. The third also pick pickup. This market is so big and so profitable that even a small portion of it could mean big money. A third of all pickup truck owners are open to the idea of electrification. Alexander edwards is the president of strategic vision. A company that regularly surveys new car buyers. He emphasizes that these aren't definite electric customers but they might be persuadable and crucially. This is a different pool of people thin current vehicle owners. They're not as wealthy. They're less liberal and less interested in the environment or in high tech innovation but they can be swayed by other arguments. They were looking at this electrification of their vehicle to enhance the overall truck. Nece it's that truck nece that automakers are emphasizing and all. Those stunts consider a truck. That's trying to tow a heavy load to get all that weight. Moving requires a lot of low end. Torque a lot of rotational force. Some engines are better at this than other. Engines and electric motors are actually really good at it. They have an advantage over gas or even diesel edwards says that performance edge could persuade some shoppers. Who aren't moved by appeals to save the environment these guys are looking for rugged powerful capable vehicles. The world's governments are pushing toward electric vehicles as part of the fight against climate change. Then many automakers are now convinced. Electric vehicles are the future appealing. Electric pickup trucks could help get the general public on board. Of course some people don't need persuading there are drivers who definitely want an electric pickup. Even before they've had the chance to take one for a spin. Madison grosses the director of consumer insights at cargurus which recently surveyed truck owners. It's really gen. Z and millennials who are driving increased interest in pickups but especially for these younger drivers. Being interested in a vehicle is not the same as being able to afford it. New trucks are already expensive. New full-sized pickups are averaging nearly fifty five thousand dollars and while electric vehicles cost less to operate they are more expensive upfront for the foreseeable future. Anyway they seem kind of unobtainable. Pat turner of baltimore is thirty. He drives a nissan frontier. And he is pretty stoked about the prospect of electric pickups but prices are just insane. Gm came with hammered over one. Hundred thousand dollars at dusk. Affordability has been a big concern for pickup drivers for a while. Turner says he'll keep an eye on electric pickups but probably won't buy one until the prices dropped substantially

What Is The Future Of The Oil Industry?

"Oil, and gas powered a century of economic growth and damaged the planet's climate in the process which leaves the oil and gas industry in an existential panic in the short term, demand is down because of the pandemic in the long term. Well, there are two new reports out offering very different visions of the future NPR's Cumulus Domino ski covers energy and joins us now hi Camilla. Tell us about these two new reports where are they coming from? Yes, so they offer very divergent perspectives and let's start with the idea that oil will come roaring back. This is assuming that once the pandemic is over, someday, it will be over and the economy will recover oil will come back a demand will be there. The developing world is GONNA guzzle more and more of it back to business as usual. This is the view that was laid out by OPEC, cartel of oil exporting countries in their annual report called the Wu. then. Yeah the WOO WOO oil. Then there's different version of the future that was laid out by the International Energy Agency which a very influential group they said maybe that happens, but maybe the world takes action on climate change and if appropriate action is taken, oil demand could start going down and might even have peaked already. So is the main divergence in these two reports the assumptions about whether the world will take climate change seriously and to to slow it down. Yeah. That's the fundamental disagreement in this debate has been around for a long time while the World Act aggressively when will that happen? When will oil peak but right now this pandemic, which is you know we use the word unprecedented so much but something unprecedented has happened. There's a dramatic drop in demand for oil massive job losses across the sector, and that has made some people wonder could something else unprecedented happened? Could this unusual moment lead to an unusual level of action from world? Governments Arrive Faster or are you OPEC and you look at this and say the pandemic is just a blip and we'll be back to normal once it's over I'll note to there's there's one thing that both sides and pretty much everybody agrees on which is that the current pledges, the policies that are in place from world governments now are not enough to keep global warming at the two degrees Celsius that was committed to Paris or to shift the world meaningfully away from relying primarily on oil. So. That would require a huge transition from from what's currently happening or oil companies making those kinds of transitions i? Mean they have to make decisions today based on which one of these two futures they think is the most likely, right? Yeah. Absolutely, and you can see that split playing out a company's just to take two examples Exxon is doubling down on fossil. Fuels predicting a future in which there is still robust demand for gas and they. They'll be there to meet it meanwhile BP formerly British Petroleum they're they're projecting the world might be moving really aggressively and in they want to be there pivoting renewables trying to figure out how to make money money on a world that's transitioning away from their core product Some investors Nicole about so companies right now are placing their bets betting everything on which version of the world they think is more likely. It's hard to imagine any higher stakes here not only the future of those massive companies but like the future of the planet potentially literally I mean Exxon is right on the future is a lot like the present we're. Burning lots of oil which has had the disastrous climate consequences that we see unfolding and if BP and a lot of European super majors are correct. Then governments around the world might penalize carbon emissions, promote renewables. It would mean huge shifts in the energy industry, but it would help prevent the worst impacts for the planet like you said, NPR's Domino Ski. Thank

An issue like climate change requires international cooperation because climate change affects everyone It crosses the borders of the world, and so not only does it affect everyone. It also requires action from everyone to combat climate change. We need the cooperation of all nations for the collective public good, and it's exactly the same with existential risks. The I. P. C C was chartered during a time when global geopolitics respects the sovereignty of nations. And that has proven a problem for you to take one example. Back in 2007 when the I P. C C issued its fourth assessment on global climate change the body's reports on the current cutting edge scientific understanding of the issue. Word spread to media that the report had been watered down by diplomacy. Saudi Arabia, one of the world's leading producers of fossil fuels in China, and the United States, two of the world's leading producers of emissions from burning those fossil fuels used their influence to temper the report's findings on how fossil fuel use contributes to climate change. To make fossil fuels role seem less scientifically certain. As a result, the public was presented with findings that seemed much more doubtful about the role of fossil fuel emissions and climate change. A doubt that's still alive today, Thiscause not be allowed to happen with existential risks. Climate change is one of the most important issues facing humanity today. Existentially risks are the most important. So how do we create a body that's immune to diplomatic and economic pressures of countries as strong as the U. S. Saudi Arabia and China? The answer is a singleton. Our hypothetical Singleton could arise from an international body organized to study and deal with existentialist. Let's call it our existentially risks Commission. Just out of necessity as the world wakes up to the real scope in severity of these risks, we may give that commission an enormous amount of power override any nation's opposition to its findings and guidelines. Which would mean an enormous change for global geopolitics, but one we would likely feel was necessary. Our Existentialists Commission would need to have teeth one way it might ensure compliance among all nations is through a global surveillance network. We would need to keep tabs on all the scientists who work in fields that pose an existential threat to make sure that they weren't secretly working on designs or experiments the commission deemed too risky to pursue. Same goes for corporations that make products that use risky technology. Our commission would need to keep tabs on everyone really to monitor for signs of a black market, developing and banned technology. So each government would be required to set up the surveillance network within its own borders and the existential risks Commission would have access and ultimate control over all of them. It should probably also monitor each nation's government as well. And we would probably also need to grant our commission with some sort of military or policing power as a last resort with a force that is capable of overwhelming any nations in the world. Or perhaps to make it easier. We would just allow the commission to disband the world's militaries and maintain its own small force it could use to invade and easily occupy any noncompliant nation. With a single decision making body in charge of determining the best way forward toward technological maturity, One equipped with unchecked authority able to monitor every person alive on the planet, and to use the threat of violence to ensure that we all stay in line. In our march toward a safe future. We may just make it through the next century or two and arrive at a point where the future of humanity is a shirt. But as you may have noticed, as I was describing it. Singleton can also pose an existential threat itself. That same global body we create to manage our existentially risks could easily become totalitarian, forming a permanent global dictatorship. No future generation could possibly overthrow And it's about here that you might start to feel like no matter what we do. Humanity is doomed.

‘Are Christians Lazy?’ with Don Baker

"When you can just appeal to supernatural about taking care of the environment You hear these things that man can't break what God created or God will fix it in the second coming or climate change is a hoax or God said to have dominion over the earth in all sorts of conspiracies about one world government, and how climate change is going to push us towards the end times all this crazy stuff. unfortunately Christa fixing the environment. It's GonNa take a lot of effort. And Conservative Christians are leading the charge against it and could laziness be a part of that. White make why try to make the world a better place. Anyway you can just pray instead it gives you the feeling that you've done something profound, but you actually have done nothing at all, and ultimately it's a cop out guards. God's in charge of the world, and if it's screwed up, it's his. It's his failed attempt at at perfection, and why should it? It concern you on the also on the subject of prayer The Bible says that you can pray Jesus, says you can pray for anything you want, and just and get it and so the begs the question. Why do we still have the krona virus? Why are we still dealing with that? If you can just pray it away, I is it that Christians? Christians are too lazy to pray, or are they too lazy to chest test, Jesus, claim, and I think it's the latter. Because if they were actually detested, they'd figure out. The world doesn't work that way and Maybe maybe the answer seems to be a prey, and for some sort of answer, and and only spent effort exerted in rationalizing why there's no. No response How about where does the money go to your church? When Christians donate to church, do they check up on how the money's actually being used? Apparently, not because sex abuse is common in many dumb denominations and do do Christians realize that they're complicit in funding those things if they're donating the church and not demanding that the those things be fixed. So in summary maybe the best way for a Christian to be is lazy. why go out of your way to to to fix the problems and do why not just wait wait here until God calls you home for your next life.

Why Is American Money Used Around the World?

"As of January twenty twenty Japan and China each own more than one trillion dollars in US Treasury securities followed by the United Kingdom With three hundred and seventy two billion dollars and Brazil two hundred eighty three billion according to the International Monetary Fund more than sixty one percent of the world's cash reserves are held in dollars. The euro is in for second place at twenty percent when even an economic powerhouse like China holds a trillion. Us Dollars Reserve. That's a good sign that the dollar is still considered the mightiest of the global currencies. But the dollar wasn't always the world's defacto currency so what changed before World War. Two all global currencies were backed by gold and each government. Guaranteed that it's money was good for certain amount of gold then came the Bretton Woods Agreement of nineteen forty four which created the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund and also established the US dollar as the new gold because the US held most of the world's gold supply the dollar continued to dominate during the post World War. Two boom years. A We spoke with Jonathan David Kirschner a professor of Political Science and International Studies at Boston College. Who Co edited. A book called the future of the dollar he explained the rise of the dollar order was on four pillars the robustness of the US economy the widespread belief in the American model of finance the wealth of US financial institutions and America's leading role in international affairs Kirschner said most of the world's monetary relations were orchestrated between the US and its political allies and military. Dependencies it was natural to be conducted in dollars. The Bretton Woods fixed exchange rate scheme collapsed in the nineteen seventies when Richard. Nixon took the dollar off the gold standard during a period of domestic inflation and many industrialized economies chose to float their currencies on the open market. At that time some economists began to predict the downfall of the dollar not that it would lose value but that it would lose. Its dominance as the world's de facto currency over the decades. Most of those pillars that made the dollar king of the postwar Connie have been toppled recessions stock market bubbles and the global financial crisis have revealed cracks in the American financial bottle and the US has lost some of its political dominance with many governments and corporations choosing to do business with China or Europe instead yet the numbers show that the dollar is still the currency that nations and individuals turn to as a safe harbor in economic storms. Kirschner said the ultimate reason is a simple one. The lack of plausible alternative. Not The dollar. Then what there have been periodic calls to shift more Reserve Holdings to the euro the Chinese are mb or even back to gold but the dollar still reigns supreme when countries shop for a reserve currency that stable secure and liquid that is easy to convert back to local money. The dollar is still the default in fact some countries such as Panama and El Salvador use the US dollar as their own legal tender the US government doesn't have to give approval for another country to use the dollar as its official currency. So what about a one world currency not going to happen? Kirschner says the first reason is political. There's simply no political will to have one world government or one world currency the second reason we won't see an earth dollar anytime soon or the whole world using the US dollar for their official currency for that matter has to do with an economic theory called optimal currency area. That states that a single currency only operates effectively over relatively small geographic area the size of a country for example not a continent or the world. That's because different regions might be experiencing very different economic conditions at the same time. One Country might be in recession. While another is booming. Kirschner said if you only have one money in the whole world and you only have one monetary authority which means you only have one. Monetary policy in reality different regions or countries would need monetary policies more tailored to their individual needs. That's one of the reasons why the euro hasn't supplanted the dollar as the defacto global currency the Bureau Paean Union itself is not an optimal currency area. It's too spread out. Which means that. E with authorities have to enact monetary policies that somehow serve economies in very different financial conditions like Germany and Greece.

The US Is In A Bear Market

"Yeah. We're in a bear market actually officially officially in a bear market when the market falls down to more than twenty percent from its highs last one we saw we almost were there are in two thousand eighteen so close. I mean Again not never to be flippant about this but the true last bear market was two thousand. Eight two thousand nine when stocks fell twenty percent and then by the way they went on to fall into their forty five percent after hitting that bear market the different this time obviously it's the krona virus and it's it's the cove in one thousand nine hundred and the impact that has having on Citizens of the world governments countries and businesses. But there were how fast this happened. Things falling just asked us ever ever Seen Days Sixteen Days Robert Wright in the previous record you know when it was it was like forty something days set in nineteen twenty nine so which nineteen twenty nine. If memory serves another not guess or so. This happened so fast. Much faster than two thousand eight much faster than even two thousand eighteen which was pretty fast. I mean when when the stocks fell almost twenty percent. That happened over the course of forty days or so so we saw this really quick reaction and then the difference. Of course there's so much uncertainty with what the impact of all this is going to be and this week we saw governments citizens people schools close here in the US. Italy BASICALLY SHUT DOWN. Its country and we're starting to see that now. Play into the psychology of investors and institutions by the way to not just individuals institutions. Actually more institutions. And just the the the impact this is having on the markets and we're seeing the small caps down Tw- More than twenty percent just this week just this week. They're down about twenty five percent so really. We had a nice bump on Friday but but a lot of volatility in the markets right. Yeah so we've been doing this show for about five years and so that means for about five years you've been saying you know this bull market. It's you know there's Gonna I mean. How often do we get a bear market every time you do right so are you happy? Now Bro are you happy. Finally you got your Bare Martin. I'm not happy I'm not happy. Here's what I here's what I am. A proud of that is a message. It's been from the Motley fool as well as this podcast. And that is these times. Do come you may not want all of your money in the stock market especially in terms of having an emergency fund any money you need in the short term. If you're retired have an income cushion I am thinking most mostly these days about the emergency fund thinking of those people whose jobs will be affected all the people at restaurants in the travel industry who worked at the sports arenas all these people who are going to see a significant disruption to their income and I hope they have an emergency fund and I hope the government steps in to help them as well. Unfortunately I think the stat bro. There's a significant amount of the population. That is that is Paycheck to paycheck. And you know barely has a few hundred dollars into the into that savings account. Emergency funds so hopefully a lot of listeners Over the years five years and twenty five years of the Motley fool is we've been talking about how to how to think about saving investing. Hopefully they they have followed along so this this will help cushion the blow a little bit. Yeah at the ascent. They did some research and they found that eighty percent of Americans aren't confident. They missed three paychecks. I mean at just that just hurts. You really feel for them scary. Also because now than the number is about eighty Eighty percent likelihood of of a recession sometime Globally in the next few months. Oh I it is going to be. As Robert said very disruptive sedan to so many lives especially those that are More tied to the Ghia economy Not Necessarily W. Two but much more ten ninety. Yeah I'll just point out that we actually devoted a whole episode to having an emergency find. It was early in two thousand nineteen when the federal government shutdown. We talked about the importance of emergency. And then where to turn once your emergency fund is gone so if you are in that position where you've run your bank account down. Look FOR THAT EPISODE. And we had some backup might decrease. Yeah so no. I don't had global pandemic in their office pool so why the bull market would come to an end. Why isn't that Bill Gates Bill? Bill Gates have been talking about for so he can he can afford it. He can pray for. He's going to be okay. Warren Buffet actually wrote about it back in one thousand nine hundred eighty seven so he also someone who eventually got arrays a long-term investors a long-term thinker
