"Rice up a notch. So that's why I decided to add cumin. Cumin is also in Chile, which makes it taste very delicious. So it goes really well with beef. It goes well with pork. It's just a very all around neutral spice that it goes well with a lot of different proteins. So those ribs, we smoke it for about three hours. And then we glaze it with our House made barbecue sauce. We wrap it and then we smoke it some more for it to tenderize. So this barbecue sauce, which is not available right now, was actually made with fresh peaches. A lot of Jack Daniels whisky. Yes. That's the oomph I was talking about. Yeah. Right? Yeah. So I've got Worcestershire. I've got brown sugar. I've got the acid from the tomatoes. And then the whisky is the acid and the oomph. The sourcing for the pork. Is that a specific kind of hog? So I'm kind of a snob. I like to eat clean food. You know, I as much as I can, right? Barbecue is already a very decadent and rich cuisine. Even though it's not great for your arteries, you can rest assured that the means that I use our antibiotic free homo free all natural. And so I work really hard with my supplier to source these kinds of meat. The other part of this thinking was that you could go to the market to bonds or smart and final and get your rack of ribs. But you can't get the kind that I'm sourcing because those are commodity cork. And so those. So it means like it's like from multiple farms and then you have a distributor or a processor, they actually get the meats from all different farms all over the country. And you don't know where these meats are coming from. You don't know what breed they are. So sure. Just like dogs and cats, you know, pigs and cows come in different breeds. The breed I use is dorok and.

"A little nervous when I talked to a real perfection all interviewer Like Jenny Kleeman. The book is sex robots and vegan meat. She regularly appears just about every platform there is in England and around the world. So, Jenny, you had a chance to meet If you're part of the pun, the people who were trying to change the way in which we Humans consume nutrition, and I'm walking around these words, because we already have the impossible burger. We already have veggie burgers. But this conversation about vegan meet something that's actually meet. It's just not Taken from a living blood source. Before we consume it. This is something which is yet to become fully realized, But the event horizon is on the way. Yes, it's important that we clarify your right exactly what we're talking about, and this is not some clever veggie burger. It's not. We configured plant protein like the Impossible burger or the Beyond Burger, which are made from animal protein. This is Real meat, But instead of being grown inside the body of an animal, it's grown in a lab they take like a biopsy is tiny little sesame seed sized biopsy off living animals a best flash. Take it to the lab. And they culture it, they grow it. They did it in a nutrient bastard makes it divide and proliferate. And once they got a mass of cells that their product And, uh, in fact, in December the first time anywhere in the world that a regulatory body approved it for human consumption. It was proof of consumption in Singapore, each just their chicken nugget, which in fact is the one that I ate? In the research for the book that got approved in Singapore in it went on sale in sync before, so, you know it sounds very, very soulful and futuristic, but it has already landed and it isn't just in the form of what we would call like red meat or white meat, but also fish. Yes. Also fish. There are companies trying to do it with fish. There are not many companies trying to do it with like seafood with lobsters because apparently They're more like infect more difficult. Torto fell minds like they do for fish and for animal species. But, yeah, I mean, potentially, you could you can create any kind of meat, and they particularly done it with things like Quadra, where the producing off it is very controversial. You know on it means you can get past all thoughts of ethical quandaries. You could make kosher Baker because it's not growing inside the body of a pig of things that the possibilities are limitless. You know, I learned from I have Ah grew up in a mixed neighborhood. And I learned that there was such a thing is kosher bacon. And that was a long as the bacon was on my plate that some somehow it was okay. For my Jewish friend stabs of it. It is good. Put it on their plate. That was so funny. Um, all right, but so, but this is a fascinating because you've had you've tested this. Is that the, uh in the chicken, which I I Okay. I was rooting for Ian. So Ian Ian Chicken is this. It's not imitation meat. It's cultured chicken. Meat lab grown chicken meat. How did it taste? Well, that's an interesting question. And, um, tasted like chicken because it was chicken. It was the flesh of this bird that they had been in who's still alive, flapping his wings. It tasted like chicken, but it Had completely the wrong texture. That's why I didn't know what I ate was kind of Mushy nugget, a mass of cells that had sort of chicken sounds in it and threw it in such an intimate thing. We have such a definitely here off how they should taste. How should I know? House on this should look, the particulars has something should feel in your mouth. And when it comes to things like me, I think we have this primal evolutionary response that if something is not quite right, your brain says, Well, you've got to spit this out. I'm gonna make you very sick. I was in there. Something that's gonna start with people who very kindly allowed me to eat some of this stuff because it's expensive. And certainly when I tasted it, which was a couple years ago was expensive. I had all the PR people nodding and smiling, and I took a bite and they taste like chicken, doesn't it? Yeah, it tastes like chicken. Actually, after I ate that nugget. I didn't eat me too tall for about four days afterward That turned me vegan for all the wrong reasons couldn't stomach it? E think that mouth feel peace is really compelling because that was that's the success. Of that beyond me, I think. Yeah, although I had the same revulsion to how it smells. I mean, I've cooked it several times. I have to open it up kind of almost will run like a fan. And then right away, I put it in Worcestershire or soy or something that helped kill that smell. I do not like that. But when it actually cooks It. It has the mouth feel of hamburger and it it sustains all sorts of flavorings that give it a pretty close. Permutation of of of a hamburger. So you know, holds up cheese well and then some seasoning and, you know, put some veggies on there, and it's in pretty good shape. But that's a very different thing than A quivering as of meat cells that are growing in some sort of bath. Right, and the people who are making this meat grown in a lab and also is interesting to say that they don't really know what to call it yet. They don't want to call it lab grown meat, because there's not gonna be a lot of consumer acceptance in that idea when I was doing the reporting that were calling it Clean needs. I think now they're calling it either cultured meat or cultivation. Need, Um People who are doing it that dress he is. This is the real thing. This is the real deal. You know you're actually eating animal me is just not been grown in the body of an animal. And so if that is your USP in, that's what you're selling the consumer. They're expecting something to the eye on the nose and the palette. It's indistinguishable from a burger or a steak and not the other things you think about that grow. Needn't probably imagine some kind of Sirloin with Marvin. That was very, very far away from being able to do that. I think so. Yeah, it's a kind of harder proposition in particular. You're hoping that fish I mean, people don't eat raw chicken. What they do eat more salmon. You know she achieved a role or whatever, and you can't use the smoke and mirrors that cooking something in butter and seasoning it you really have to get it right? And it's the sort of thing that if you get it wrong consumers to be quite unforgiving about it something Uh, is disgusting. You don't You don't go back. You don't go back to war. So, But the thing is, it's early days in this They are going to get at some point on but some point something quite convincing is gonna exist. I think Uh, let me pause for just a second and s. So Hang on. Jenny. Melissa, Are you picking up that buzzer? It's just coming down the line from me. Are you hearing that as, uh, Jenny's talking Okay, good, so that it might just be on my monitor, and I'm on my end of the conversation. You're beginning to sound a little bit like Mr Roboto. And I thought, you know, the robots are taking over and they're colonizing you. They're making you sound like one of them. All right. So this is where the this industry they see a lot of potential. There is, I think some serious, you know, positives if they were ever able to get it together, um and not just in terms of like making a lot of money doing it. But what are what would be the benefit to the planet if they were really successful in creating Vegan meat. The current situation with industrial agriculture is completely unsustainable..

He was a langham meter above the water where crocodiles are in the water and Joined us said the friends hesitated for bringing for an eskimo on board this small anti minium boat. Once we see batty tammy cut ssi. And vanessa been free on bail after being charged with armed robbery and the alleged being cut off cut off his electronic monitoring device when he started a meandering around in the crocodile infested swamp so so negative defending crocodile-infested waters That could have ended up in. Crocodile is before bedtime as you say might have ended up a bit crock and dog owners spots. Donald trump's face in pet's complete with the blonde hairdo. The current president has been spotted inside the dog's ear. And in this for the first time one read it use a horrified commentator by showing creepy resemblance. Social media uses. Were horrified that discovery the current. Us presidents inside the pets there. While i'm reading read it. Common data said oh bugger. Didn't know i should be horrified. But now i should stalk getting horrified. Another us attempted to explain. The reason is not actually that surprising as much as every fold in the inner part of the makes it look donald trump and it looks like an awful lot of human so i guess trumps praises very folding and jolly the rest of it. I guess the haruna talk that makes us one a bit more incredible though and it truly does look like a scrunched up angry donald trump but i was found human piece. I think trump trump crawled out of the dogs. Here instead of being born in the regular way was enough but that may be one of the senses that could be worth losing. If trump is appearing in the hounds hair the hound actually has trump like is and. I'm sure all the dogs never gonna listen. Maybe trump's face in a dog ass might be more apt. Then i think this is possibly the sickest story i've ever seen or heard Is in the daily star. We can't really commend the daily stuff very much as especially on this occasion. Sick prankster advertisers. The certain excreted as sour dough starter made from Something girlfriend anyway. We're not gonna go into too. "I really just can't What's going on? I can't anymore with Worcestershire woos. That's our publication ship of Jacob Bush and no Tiffany on P. Bush on rebel Wilson Correct So remember, So we've been talking about the hallmarks of a population ship and all the ways that we know that they are in a population ship, and very specifically, we've talked a lot about sort of the His posts, meaning Jacob Bushes posts. And rebel Wilson's posts about this poblacion ship. She uses him a lot more in her social media than vice versa. And the thing about a population ship is both parties have to be getting something from the poblacion ship. Right. So what is rebel Wilson getting from the publication ship? Well, she is allowing herself even more headlines at a moment when she's trying to get attention for her. Beachbody reboot. Exactly. And what is Jacob P. Bush getting well, he has Ah, a bunch of irons in the fire. Well, actually, there's two things one is this new business venture? Which is his ice cream Ding ding Ding and allegedly, He's a hot mess, and his family is like we need to get you into a relationship because You're a mess, so we need some stability in your life. That's on his personal like that's like his personal journey, but publicly your You said he's got this ice cream line. Yeah. Which was announced just after they got they went public with their relationship by the way they've known each other for Longer than they've let on. But go ahead. So if you go over to rebel Wilson's Instagram and look at her story. The first thing you will see Is a picture of her with her hair done perfectly wearing a nice LBD. That would be a little black dress and she's holding a She's holding like a little pint of ice cream. That's on a point. What is that? Is that a pint? Pint of ice cream? I mean, some utopian. I understa cream grow a long time ago, but he can I can I point something out. That is really obnoxious about this. The top of the ice cream is face down on the cream colored chair next to her. You don't do that. That is clearly a photo shoot. All right? Yeah, like because that would not know because that would stay in the chair anyway, so she's looking at it longingly with her spoon in one hand, and and it says At naps, ice cream. I may be biased, but this is the best healthy ice cream out there. And then the second picture. What is this in her stories? It's in her stories. Oh, yeah, okay. The second picture is of her, enjoying the ice cream and also the picture of her enjoying the ice cream. Can we just talk about something? There's nothing on the spat Spoon is clean. That spoon did not dive into a pint of ice cream. She's being so influence he lately in a way that's just like Annoying, Like very, very basic. You're not even trolling influence culture. Drive me funny about it. Well, because in the third and last story she is pimping for something called Rotten Roach Shop, the best T shirts in the world via our website. And she's wearing a particular sweater. Yesterday she was in a rolls rice with her entertainment tonight. It's a really good show co host friend. In a Rolls Royce that had been clearly rented from somewhere that she was trying to get Attention for she is like influence or game. Like, but it's it is a full court press bargain basement, like she should take notes from Priyanka Chopra, Joan, but I think she is, but she's not taking good notes. So what you're saying is That it's driving you nuts that she's pimping her new boyfriend's ice cream brand. Well, it's yes, but she's not even eating it. No, and then you and the other thing. It's just so obvious, and I think that's why I'm irritated as it's like. She's not even doing it. Well, right now, this is It also don't even have to actually be paying attention in order to see how fake it also can we just talk about how it's kind of dissonant from what she's trying to do right now, like you're trying to tell us That You don't eat stuff like that. Like you. She has made the effort to be like I'm on this health kick and I'm transforming my life. But she doesn't put the ice cream eating into context again. I'm talking about sort of like the like. Messaging. I'm not talking about what The RIA world like Of course, if you're healthy, you can eat ice cream. I'm not saying you can't. Um, but like In so far as she's like doing one thing like those things don't kind of go together because she doesn't put it in a context. She doesn't say, you know, like, Oh, my God, I want to eat this entire thing. But I can't right now because I'm trying to be good, But I'm still gonna allow myself a little treat. Because it is my boyfriends Do ice cream company like I could do this in my sleep 10 times better than she's doing it. Okay, Can I just also draw another correlation for you? If you go to Jacob P. So that means more by default. I'm gonna marry the marmite. What? Me. I don't want to do it, but the her dad has a shotgun and, you know, we're going down the Nile. Maybe maybe the others the international appeal, so, you know, maybe we'll travel somewhat my turn up that. Yeah, because I the product with the tone, do, because, you know what their special sweetness there, there's a little something there. You know, I'm not going to be happy with any of these choices being married but you know, I can have a temporary on with the tomato ketchup. Your turn. I'm gonna kill the marmite obvious reason, and the rest of it is gonna come down to the packaging. Okay. I'm going to review. Off of the package. So I am going to frolic with the Worcestershire sauce. Why we Brits love to add a dash of list of wister sauce to pretty much anything it brings out the best in any food, especially walkers, crisps. Sounds like a frolic sure that you wanna know what I'm gonna marry. There's only one month. Yeah, catch up inspired for the Brits. Love for the red stuff a squirt drizzle blob for a coating. Nothing beats a dash of tomato, ketchup, signed me up risk were drizzle blogger coating my friends, this is tomato. Other ketchups. Yes, cucumber catch. I've had banana ketchup in the Caribbean. Really, I've had jerk. This is a no. It's catch up tomato ketchup with bananas mixed in in Jamaica. I've had jerk ketchup what that I can see, but I might go without tomatoes, bow. That's the clarification is here in a place. Others curry ketchup. Is it still tomato? Yes, but doesn't flee at catch this would be just for example, most places call a plain pizza cheese pizza. Although nearly all pizzas have chicks in here in the US debater brand say tomato ketchup versus cucumber chaper like can you catch up out of another Beckley pickle salsa? Who had no tomatoes in it. You had that over you in for a while that around here somewhere, you know what I gotta say, if I had to pick, I would pick a lot of the special players, or the special kinds of over the regular. Because the regular ones get a little boring after a while. See, I don't know. Like it's a good unit. I can go back to them. And like you're never like disappointed. Big is always worked for me. I am kind of surprised. They don't make a variety pack like one package with various kinds of Eminem's in there. I wonder how are you going to righty pack of the various flavored peanut evidence, 'cause we've had a lot of those too, because, you know what hell's you feel. You have like a handful of you came across a mid well, I think they would have to have different mashups, like maybe three or four different kinds. They kinda rotated how they package than I don't think met would make the cut. I actually meant when he probably because you could have the pretzel you could've Chris because of the traditional the peanut now almond, the peanut butter altogether in it. I think that goes. Would stand out. Yeah. We get out of that. We we're giving you ideas and the movement. Yup. Skills in there. No stance. Save for fools. Coming up money for full size. That is the best thing to do giant bag of man's small bag of skittles mix could it out at work? Let the laughter in sin, high hate a in his amateur hour to me. "Hey, Larry how you doing? I'm good yourself. I'm doing just fine, sir. I'm getting hungry though. I tell you that. But I didn't wanna bore anybody with recipes because they got all kinds of recipes and everybody else does too. But I wanted to let everybody know that they can take any type of vinegar red wine vinegar and apple cider vinegar is what I use and they can play with the amounts, but any vinegar that they put in their marinade will break down the fibers of any meat, and it will marry. All right. We'll make it just as tenders can be I usually put a tablespoon of red wine vinegar in with just about any kind of innocent or whatever that I make him in about twelve hours in the frigerator just milk marinade with some spices, or whatever and it will. Down the fibers that made to where it's just super super tender. They don't have to go through all the commotions of cooking it down or from it. And then baking it and all this other stuff. That's a great idea. Larry out why you're on here. I'll I'll tell you. I do it. And it's very similar to what you're describing better. Got a few other things I had. My favorite marinate for most types of game. Consists of zesty Italian dressing because it's got the garlic onion and the oil. And what have you in it? And I I love apple cider vinegar. I'll put a pretty good splash. You're there to help break it down. Spice it up with Worcestershire sauce. And put enough in there to turn it about the color of a light, iced tea color. And I love to marinate meat in ziplock bags in the frigerator because it just. Sloshing around and Tyler to during the process, and as you mentioned that's good on duck venison deer. You name. It it. It's really good. And sometimes depending on what I'm looking. And I'm a mention recipe utilizing that since you led to this. I'll add AT spoon or two of Brown sugar to it as well. Right, right. There's something about that sweetness that makes it flavor pop in. It's it's really really good that way. And you're exactly right vinegar is a very important component to most types of marinades. Sometimes I'll use lemon juice vinegar does a better job over all the more the more. The better that it breaks down the meat fibers. Yes, sir. Well, I appreciate the Larry. Thank you so much. While we're on that subject, how repeat that marinate very quickly. And I'm a talk about grilled venison. Because I love it cook that way, it's just one of my favorite things in life, and this is primarily for a back strap or a venison steak I like to cut it about three quarters of an inch to an inch thick. I like to marinate it in that marinade, which again is the Italian dressing. Apple cider vinegar. Splash you're too pretty Jenner Spicer to you. And. Sometimes I'll put a little brand sugar in it for the venison. I do. I put a tablespoon or two of Brown sugar in there. And then I wish yourselves to turn about the color of ice tea. You know, you don't want to dark, but it really flavors it up. Extremely well. And I like to throw some Cajun seasoning in with that. It out a sprinkle that pretty liberally in there. It adds a little bit of salt along with the worst sure has a little salt there. But it also gives it a little pepper Wang to flavor and how marinade those pieces of innocent in there anywhere from one to two hours, if it's not refrigerated or you can marinated overnight if you wish and I like to cook on a grill that's covered the whole time. I'll take him out of the marinade place about a medium heat grill, and I'd like to add some wood chips. So it smokes. But the marinade drippings will do pretty good job of that. And I like to have the vents on the. Correal fairly well closed where that smokes really gathered on that me. And I'll cook it for about four minutes to each side. Flip it over, and it will come out of their medium, rare combination of those flavors with that venison is absolutely awesome. It's a simple recipe. The key to it is don't overcook it. There's any debt your man pulling off licence done. And if if it's still not done enough take that one redeposit into marinade, flip it over to the side. But about four to five minutes to satis, plenty to cook a piece of venison back strapper staked that's been marinated like that. Let's go to Jeanne is calling from Lexington. Where the recipe. Yes. Jean? Yeah. Getting on your show. Thank you, sir. This is an old paratroop blood duck recipe. Okay. It was a outdoor writer fifty sixty years ago. I remember him. Well, and this is a for the caveman pretty much. It sounds. I'll take a whole Hobart takes me bourbon drank and thirty minutes to clean one. All right. Three or four. I'm in trouble. Anyway. So I take a bird in preacher oven the five hundred degree and put your bar in the oven for twenty minutes. And then bring it out simple as that. Okay. Us as types of seasoning. Or do you put oil on it or just? No, all because you need to have a well ventilated oven because it's kind of smoke, right? Put that.
