"That is our very own Steven seat for comedians to sing. Hey, Steve. Good evening, gentlemen. You're right, Brian. You probably that salesman probably sensed a little desperation there. How much for the headphones, man? I gotta go. My car's gonna get towed. Yeah, he knew he had me. The thousand thousand 1050? It's like a reminder, Billy Crystal told the story when he was trying to figure out the tip and the mathematics in his head with other foreign exchange rate. He always knew he did it wrong when he gave the tip in the other currency at the waiter would say, oh, thank you, sir. What did I do? It was kind of your reaction with the sales too, but hey, you need them. Sales. I mean, you gotta have the headphone spot. People have you know, you talk about sitcoms. People don't realize like in WKRP or any of these things. When you see somebody in the studio on the air and they're not wearing headphones, not real. They are not real. Literally, the speaker turns off when the microphone turns on. Must wear headphones. To Major League Baseball, the brewers are leading 6 four at Boston in the bottom of the 8th inning and the Yankees already won today a two over kids city, Aaron judge with his 42nd home run of the season. 91 RBIs that also leads the major leagues, and he's batting an even 300, so should we just vote for MVP now? "Gas prices are up. Exceedingly high. They don't have this high before, but not recently. Gas price. That's why I have the attorney general taking a look at whether or not these gas companies are gouging people because although the price of oil is coming down some, the price of gas hadn't come down some. So there's a lot of things that people that are really a great deal of anxiety. A great deal of concern. And they all relate to, even though we've created almost 6 million jobs since I came into office, we're in a situation where people don't, they don't feel it right now. They don't feel it. So Mike Gallagher, then he looks at the camera as the poor guy goes on to a different subject. What did you make of that tour of America from your president Joe Biden and my president Joe Biden on W KRC in Cincinnati? I mean, it's totally nonsensical. It's all respect to the president. I mean, it does not inspire one iota of confidence. I just clearly has lost a massive step. Much like the browns in that respect you. No, we've got the Bengals. We beat the Bengals and we are back. We OBJ, we wish him well, but we had the best offense in the league last week. I guess you didn't notice that. I guess there were other problems in Green Bay, which I were going to admit out of courtesy. I wasn't going to bring those up. But be careful if you bring up the browns, everything's on the table. I know. I know. Well, here's a thank you. If the president is focusing on the death of Americans from COVID, the massive toll in terms of learning loss from education, school shutdowns, just overall costs, trillions of dollars spent, then where is the outrage with respect to the cover up perpetrated by the Chinese Communist Party? Why not demand that your intelligence community on which you spend over $80 billion a year do better than a 90 day intelligence review that comes back and effectively says, well, you know what, we don't know what's going on. And we're unlikely to know unless we get the cooperation of the Chinese Communist Party. No way. That is. They don't want to know. Bogus. They don't want to know. The other thing there's a great Bloomberg report on this yesterday or early today, we are now realizing the cost of two decades of having our Intel networks, particular human intelligence networks in China, completely compromised, and not really focusing on certain collection targets in China. And I think all Americans should be outraged by the cost that this pandemic has taken on their lives and should demand a fulsome answer into how it started. And whether U.S. taxpayer dollars played a role in funding gain of function research at the Wuhan institute of virology. And now it seems even the NIH has been forced to admit because of foia requests by the intercept and congressional pressure, even though Fauci himself continues to dissemble on the various subjects. So the president is worried about the cost of COVID and anxiety is produced that he darn well better do better when it comes to investigating how this thing started and holding the Chinese Communist Party responsible for its cover up that cost us millions of lives. I'm telling you right now if you're counting on the president doing better than he did yesterday at WKRP in Cincinnati. And since I am not going to happen, I do want to ask about The Washington Post. You live close to the ground in Wisconsin. Death threats online abuse, police protection. School board members face dark new reality. I understand there are a couple of school boards in the United States where violence has been threatened and that is inimical to the American way of life. But I've been doing school board meetings for 30 years. And I've helped school board members before and I've served on advisory committees and they parents sometimes get upset and they yell. And I'm sure you've been yelled at. And if you don't want to be yelled at, get off the school board because that's part of the job Mike Gallagher. A 100% parents are upset, not only because of the recent injection of critical race theory into K through 12 curriculum in some school districts, but also because for decades now, public education in America has been sliding slowly and steadily into mediocrity. In my home state of Wisconsin, where we used to rank top 5 in education consistently where we started the school choice movement where it proud educational legacy, we are now we have 60% of kids that can't read at grade level. And if you can't read a grade level by third grade, let alone by 8th grade statistically it is very difficult for you to succeed. Now is the moment, particularly after Virginia for Republicans to seize the mantle of education reform to think even beyond school choice, the next level of choice true educational reform. This is an issue that affects every family in America. Democrat Republican independent. And the fact that parents are upset does not suggest that they are domestic terrorists as the DOJ might have you believe, it merely suggests that they want their kids to learn how to read, write and succeed and become 18 year olds that are capable of surviving in a very difficult and challenging economic environment. We need to be the party that offers them a solution that prepares kids to be able to work and thrive in the 21st century. And I think that is the Virginia plan. We'll watch young and young energy. Unfolds that, but I love the fact that, in the meantime, worried about school board members are getting yelled at by parents who are frustrated that schools have been closed for a year and a half. Congressman Mike Gallagher..

"Back inside the beltway, my thanks to Bruce holy for sitting in for me yesterday I had been in Oklahoma City on Monday night and Tuesday and flew back yesterday in Oklahoma City to speak to the Christian employers associate alliance. They are a group of Christian employers who have banded together hundreds of them to become an umbrella group for litigation against onerous government mandates against any kind of masterpiece cake shop shut down of a business owned by Christian. I was happy to speak to them. I think they had a grow by leaps and bounds. They exist for they have some benefit programs, of course, like any good association. But they exist to provide an umbrella for all Christian employers in the United States who fear that the administrative state is getting too big and is crowding them out and it is. And so they are acting. Go look up. Christian employer's alliance and joint. While I was gone, Bruce Lee said in for me from Columbus, and I am totally did a fine, wonderful extraordinary job as one would expect of a prose pro like Bruce and a clevelander and a Buckeye. And so it was seamless when it came to the browns and the buckeyes. I don't know if he got into Cavaliers in Indians now guardians. But Bruce was a good good, good guesthouse. I've got two guest hosts in Ohio, bob, France and Bruce Julien, so I've got the bench with Edinburgh. And Mark Davis and Kurt sleep there. We've got like 5 people on the bench. Always ready to stand up. Of course, there's also always generalissimo, but he's grumpy this morning. So I'm not going to bring him on. I have a going to bring on the president of the United States because I looked at my cut sheet this morning and I saw he had been at WKRP Cincinnati. And I said, that's not true. Dwyane is attempting to joke with me, WKRP and Cincinnati. They look more closely. And with C in Cincinnati, wkrc and Stevens Kyle inscape Stephen's sorry, Steve you're a tour broadcaster at NPR. Carl inskeep is a young broadcaster with W KRC in Cincinnati. He is from butler. So I really don't know what to expect from this. The butler bagels have one of their own behind the desk in Cincinnati and so Joe Biden for whatever reason got together with, see if Cincinnati cut number three. I don't think presidents should be deciding what to do about look. A lot of people are worried. Think about this. Look what 750,000 people have died because of COVID 750,000 people. The psychological scars that has put on so many people. Schools have not been open because of COVID and they're just getting open again. We're in a situation where there's a lot of anxiety. Gas prices are up, exceedingly high. They don't have this high before, but not recently. Gas price. That's why I have the attorney general taking a look at whether these gas companies are gouging people because although the price of oil is coming down some, the price of gas hadn't come down some. So there's a lot of things that have people that are really a great deal of anxiety. A great deal of concern. And they all relate to, even though we've created almost 6 billion jobs since I came into office, we're in a situation where people don't they don't feel it right now. They don't feel it. So why do you think the president talking with WKRP in Cincinnati? Actually, Debbie KRC and Cincinnati. Why is the president of all of the places in the country decided he's going to talk with Kyle and skip? Who is the butler beagle? And graduated Magna cum laude from butler, I'm looking at this. He worked for NBC News. He was the russet fellow. So that means a pretty smart guy. He wasn't a Russian fellow when I've been at NBC, and he does the 5, 6 and 11 news caps with politic in at station Cincinnati. If I had a production team, we would have the song already when we went out. Joe Biden went on further with Collins keep at WKRP in Cincinnati, cut number four. I want to turn to your polling really quickly here. The latest polling from USA Today has your approval rating at 38%. A new CNN poll shows 58% of Americans believe that you aren't paying enough attention to the nation's most important issue. So I'm wondering when you combine that with the election results that we saw last week. Is this giving you kind of a sign that maybe you need to recalibrate some of your administration's priorities as you approach that one year market office? Well, look, the poll I saw just before I walked in on another station was my polling number is down, but it's 48% to 52%. But look, the point is I didn't run because of the polls. I think what you're going to see is the combination of what I did in the beginning in terms of recovery act. And then the legislation, as well as the legislation that we're about to pass God willing. On infrastructure, excuse me, on what's called build back better. Everything from child care to funding three and four year olds in school, et cetera. I think all that's going to have a significant impact on ordinary Americans. Like the households I came from. That, in fact, you're going to change their circumstance. And result in essentially tax cuts for the child care, they'll get tax cuts for being able to send their kids to three and four years old to school. Otherwise have to pay for it. So there's a whole lot of things that are going to be happening. I think this is an up and down proposal. An up and down circumstance. And as I looked at the polling, that a little as I was walking out of the office after doing another thing I had to do is my polling numbers are the same essentially what everyone from bush to Clinton to all of Obama were at the same time. So why is the president doing local media hits from The White House with, seeing Cincinnati? Why is he? Because the youngsters at WK are saying Cincinnati are tossing him underhand and letting him talk for a minute and a half and not make any sense. Other news, the Senate is carving, get their carving knives out. If the House Democrats can agree on a $2 trillion spending plan, it's going to get set over for surgery to the Senate going to dump out the environmental provisions going to dump out the paid family leave, going to dump out the state and local tax cap repeal. It's really a placeholder. I think they realize that they got had. The progressives were completely hat. Bravo to the UAE. The UAE has flown out the pilots, the Afghanistan pilots who escaped from Afghanistan to Stan with their planes. And the UAE has gotten them to the UAE got the matter Tajikistan on their way to freedom. A judge in Washington D.C. is rejected president Trump's claims of executive privilege. And so his papers are ordered to be turned over to the January 6th commission. I expect that one will go to the D.C. circuit and then the Supreme Court don't work up too much about it. The Washington Post says the story death threats online abuse. Police protection. School board members face dark new reality. Now I've been counseling school board members for 30 years since the Orange County school board went bankrupt and I had a friend on it. I do friends on it, in fact. And school boards are often rocked in, often, parents show up in the yell at the school board members and this is part of the deal. If you run for the school board, you're going to get yelled at. Right now we've got a media attempting to try and prove that CRT isn't real, and that the quarantine has gone along.

"The Maisonette with Kevin Nation. I spend a lot of time on the internet. Okay, probably too much time on the internet, but it's amazing what you can find when reading through Newsreaders. I mean you're going on with my credit or quora and just looking for information looking for details. And the one thing I keep saying has a lot of TV shows are constant topics of conversation and they're not t shows that are currently airing new episodes It's usually when they go into syndication or when they go into a streaming service like a Netflix or something like that all the time whenever I'm looking online. I see people talking about shows like Seinfeld which has been off the air for twenty years but shows like the office home parks and rec in The Big Bang Theory, they're always hot topics. They're always questionnaires or so on the other day. They ranked the smartest of actual actors on The Big Bang Theory based on their education and that's just really a click bait kind of off because really do you care if Johnny Galecki is smarter than Jim Parsons or Kaley Cuoco. Does it really matter in the big picture? If you ever deal with radio people you can talk to them about the TV show WKRP in Cincinnati forever and the most people doesn't even matter wage.

"December third nineteen seventy nine eleven fans were killed at a who concert at riverfront Coliseum in Cincinnati two months later on this day in nineteen eighty WKRP in Cincinnati runs an episode devoted to those tragic events what a show man you know I don't know why I wanted to be in radio I don't even know what but when I think back to the memories of what radio represented to me there's very little of that radio left in radio there was high jeans and shenanigans and promotions tomfoolery absurdity ridiculous so you mentioned Stevens and Pruett nobody will say I really enjoyed Stevens approach I enjoy the fact that they were on the air every day and never had an FCC violation I'm sure they did but I enjoyed the calming and relaxing times when they weren't cussing or saying reject no people remember the most ridiculous things they did that's what radio is supposed to be crazy and fun and in trouble all the time let's see how many of the characters on WKRP in Cincinnati you can remember.
