I like to call it no A. You can really taste the Geez. As. For the other hardware, the report says apple is still expected to reveal air bags. It's object tracking accessory. Taking advantage of Ultra wideband and Bluetooth the accessory could attach to keys or other objects and could be found by the users find my APP by using the existing network of iphones in the world to help locate the tag. Interestingly there may actually be an air tag on the event announcement. If you haven't seen that the invitation art is both simple and pleasing to the eye. To dark blue background with four seemingly translucent circles on it transitioning from lighter blue to orange. AT THE CENTER OF THE CENTER CIRCLE IS NAPA logo. Prolific Apple leaker. John. Prosser couldn't help noticing how much that senator shaded circle with the Apple Logo looks like an airtight rendering he'd seen and shared last month. That's got called the Mike saying that Tuesday's announcement might hide air bags in plain sight. Something else hidden not quite in plain sight. Is Another augmented reality? East Iraq. Fall Guys Season 2 Travels Back to Medieval Times
"One blessing guess what fog is season two arrives next week. This is Steve Watts over at gamespot fog is ultimate knockouts season to show off recently, and now we know when to expect to begin the studios announced that fog is season to start Thursday dunk tober eight. In the meantime, you can score some extra points developer media tonic announced that I'm sorry the news and ask the news at a tweet which tied the upcoming season to Halloween with mention of curse. The theme of the season isn't explicitly around this week holiday though as previously announced, it is themed around epic quests that means a giant castle setting and costumes like a dragon. Knight. Viking wizard in which costumes. The tweet also announced that a season draws to a close. You can claim double fame points rack up those extra points while you can before the next season starts next week. Blessing. Greg where are you at with fog is? I haven't picked up all guys in a while and I think I've been kind of going back and forth on this since I think the release of all guys I went from being I think before the game came out after I had done the Beta test being like. All right. Yeah. This seems like going to be fun for a few weeks but then. You know I don't I don't know what the longevity of this game game is then getting into that launch week of everybody playing it and it being extremely and he being like all right. Maybe this thing does have legs. Maybe this thing will be a thing that lasts forever and now I'm Kinda back in the place of I don't be personally not going to speak for the entire used because I know a lot of people are still playing fog is having a lot of fun of course but. I think when you compare it to something like A. Something like a fortnight, which is very unfair comparison because fortnight is like a once in a lifetime kind of thing for a game to blow up in that way. But you compare it also to something like animal crossing and other Games that have been blowing up over the years I feel like the conversation has ramped down on fog is in a way that. Crossing. You believe. I'm. Harvest my pumpkin not that I was doing right before we went live just got to talk you breaking with longevity bumpkins are whistles pumpkin. Them Right now, I need to water them that they've been playing with yesterday I was checking on my crop today I. got them all over the island I like talking about longevity right like I think. Fall Guy is a game back I think can have that but I think it is going to be more of a challenge for this game compared to other games of the like because I feel like with animal crossing, there's kind of a built in. Loop there as far as people coming back, people having people putting in like an hour a day or how long play animal crossing in a day like you know having seasonable events or those monthly events that bring people back insistently same fortnight for Ni- I think just has the the like the budget behind it and just the the manpower behind it to have that consistent. How consistent updates people continuously being back to it whereas fog is if you like doesn't naturally lend itself to that in the same way that said, this season to update seems very exciting I think. I. Might booted it up in, check it out for this. I Know Greg How do you? How do you react to this somebody? Who is in love with Halloween? It doesn't do much for me because they're not all in on it. That was my thing when it was at. Jeff's one night. One night only right. One night stand opening night life when they were like, Hey, here's fall guy season two and it's like all right and it was like it's nice and shit like Oh. Like Edison I don't care about medieval stuff. That's not really my jam I wish it was like we're doing a which I noticed doesn't make sense. Does it make a Lotta sense because Caesar? So long? Hey, we're doing a Halloween thing. They didn't they do I mean they are but they're not. Like it's very fascinating. The fog I story because I think in this quarantine in this year, we've talked so much about. These breakout successes and you look at something like animal crossing that yes. came out and was such a juggernaut right and then has waned obviously, but it's still part of were. So playing against part of these updates that are dropping that people are excited for doing things with I look I did a google trends search over here hold on and I know there's probably a cooler way to do it but I'm just GonNa, show it to you this by like this is just fog is right there. You see the graph obviously from the spike. In August when it launches and then steadily taking out taking not taking down not I mean what's unexpected I would say about that right is are the highs the graph gets to in terms of fog because fog is for a second there dominated the conversation and was all anyone could talk about which is great. Obviously but it's that thing of I remember when you when we talked about fortnight when we used to talk about pub G. When we talked about animal crossing, it was this conversation of all right. But how much longer can this go? What are what are the legs on this in you know look at? Yeah by comparison is interesting right in this one that's animal crossing and you see animal crossing obviously being hired as it's this crazy Nintendo game took over the world then dropping down but then fog is superseding but them being relatively tied right now as they go off and this is just google trends. So this isn't like by any stretch of the imagination actual like. Polling and science or anything like that but it's an interesting thing that. Animal crossing hasn't had this giant peak that has just gone down from where it seems like fog is especially when we look back in a few months, it's GonNa be longer and I, wonder how much of that is? Fog is is video games in general have a game play loop and they are the same thing over and over again right? Like I loved playing fog is that those two weeks we are really playing fog is a lot but the more I played at the less I was like God play more I got to play more like. Want One more game. But it wasn't like I wake up the next morning I want to go back to that where I feel like animal crossing. You know there's a big update coming or you're doing something over time because that's how animal crossing building, right like I planned to these pumpkins nominee checking on him every day I can harvest them and do it all over again whereas fog is even having the season pass and stuff like I wanted the hot dog hot I mentioned that was a cool. That's all I want on this past like I don't WanNa keep going I think fortnight you look at that, right? Really, the game has changed I. Mean invented. I shouldn't say that but changed the way we think of micro transactions and battle passes and how they're going to incentivize you to turn
Your Most Powerful Asset
"Over the years, the accelerate your business growth podcast has enjoyed inclusion unlisted the best podcast to listen to for sales business growth of small business entrepreneurship leadership. We've just been really fortunate to just the on a ton of lists, and that's because of the guests. These are folks who have expertise in a particular area of business and they join me for a conversation little. Chat. Where they share that expertise with all of you. That way you can get the information age get connected to these folks and you can do better things in your. Business. Today is no different. My guest today is Chris Yoga. Christmas the founder. CEO of Yoga Company. Chris focuses on helping people in the organizations they belong to pave the road to a more Utopian world. He empowers heroic organizations to build a champion, those styles using their most powerful assets, their web presence. Chris an expert in Web design accessibility. Digital Marketing. Company culture and Social Responsibility. His Gold for HIMSELF THOSE HE AIDS is to be driven by a purpose beyond Prophet Excel much for joining me today Chris. From Yoga. I am thrilled to have you now I would love it. If you would explain to the listeners, why use say that our web presence is our most powerful asset? It's the one. Then you have that's speak can speak to everyone similtaneously knocker taking phone calls. If you're at a meeting a conference, if you're doing sales inbound sales, your, you've always got some limiting. The chemical equation of your success that is install eggs out whereas your web presence is. Similarities available to everybody and is also worldwide so. Used to have local footprint canals international footprint. On it. Okay. So He said in your bio that you are looking to these organizations pave or. Pave. The way toward a more Utopian world which I love that purpose at but understand how my web presence makes the world a better place. So. It starts with thinking about the organization itself. So the folks that we help tend to all into one two buckets, it's people who know and already calculate the type of impact they wanna half, and then there's those organizations aspire to have a positive don't really quite know either what it is or exactly how to accomplish it and It's interesting because let me see what persons can help boost in the latter case with relation that already knows the impact that wants to have. It's a matter of execution the more fun one in the one that might be worth likable. Your listeners is the wonderful renovations that are still trying to figure out exactly what they want that to look like, and that is where I think about the value of the web presents not only as your marketing tool, a communication tool, a chance to interact with clients, but there's also whenever you go through that process of rebranding redesigning a website specifically. There's a window. Right there's a certain amount of almost like vision boarding that happens where. I kind of figured whenever you start to plant that flag as renovation. It's almost like somebody who stopped smoking where they're like, Hey, I stopped smoking and it's like okay well for how long for four hours. But you got. The same thing with with the website whenever you say we are organization that does these things. Maybe that only lasts. You know it's been four hours since you started that put that out there and it starts to become true and the way that we find it tends to really impact organizations with Joseph Campbell's Hero's journey. Now I'm not okay good deal. So just the Campbell, an amazing offer this book called out hero with basis where he breaks down all of these tales from the Odyssey the end all the way up to storm wars wizard of Oz Harry Potter all of the movies stories you likely love follow the Hero's journey, which is that the hero goes through these kind of same twelve steps and it starts with. You know the call to action understanding. There's a need for change not really wanting to address it of being reluctant going through it as a path of self transformation with happens and that sell transformations what enables bureau to go out and. which the beast find the Elixir, whatever the case might be, and then better impact their community or Kasa characters around them, and then ultimately transformed the world, and what we find is when you go through a brand update or web transformation, the right way and with that kind of attention -ality, it serves as that vision board that is essentially like a crucible cell transformation. So you start to change yourself your team sources st like this is how we impact the world. Now I kinda have something uncrowded show Hama data show my spouse. I'm proud to show my the work I do does this kind of impact? So it's not just about the dollars and cents it's about making impacts. And now I'm a little bit more excited to tell that story people that land on our website. Begin to hear that story. It allows us to transform ourselves before we can then transplant relationships we have with our clients ultimately grow hopefully or more clients and a broader community, and then subsequently through the were affects we all have a world create a better world starts I believe with that what presence that I can happen food multitude of levels but I think one of the most important is being able to find that kind of vision and crucible assault transformation were.
C.I.A. Operatives in the Early Years of the Cold War
"Scott Anderson joins us now from the catskills. He is a contributing writer for the New York, Times magazine, and the author of many books. His latest is called the quiet Americans four CIA spies. Of the Cold War tragedy in three acts, Scott Welcome back to the podcast. Thanks much nice to be here. So you are allowed on the podcast to talk about your previous book Lawrence in Arabia which came out in twenty thirteen hand, which of course feels like now centuries ago which makes it clear to our listeners are longtime listeners that this is not your first. Book. Involving spies I'm curious what what's the draw for you but I think Speiser inherently fascinating in not just to an awful lot of people and of thought about what is I think it's the the allure of having a secret life. I think that I think that for an awful lot of people this idea that you have a whole separate identity is really fascinating New People. What I was drawn to in both the Lawrence and with in the quite America's the foresee a officers I follow is that in both cases, this was at a time when individuals out in the field had a tremendous freedom of action. So it wasn't. People sitting behind desks following policy that they're actually out in the field doing crazy stuff. You also have a personal connection to the story right in terms of what your father did for living you talk a little bit about that. Sure. My father was agricultural adviser for the Agency for International Development, which was a branch of the State Department. I grew up in. East. Asia in in Korea and Taiwan as Indonesia. and. So this was the nineteen fifties, nineteen sixties when I came along American government workers abroad often in those sorts of countries often were two hats whatever their official job was my father's job as agriculture adviser but it was also part of this great anti Communist crusade was happening around the world. So the upfront hearts and minds, soft power aspect of my father's work was working on agrarian reform in line with countries like these countries were were the land was was had been controlled infra centuries by all darkies. But the the more hard power in the darker side of what my father was doing was was setting up rural vigilante squads, home guard militias to watch over the local populace and to make sure that they weren't being swayed by the communist in certainly in countries like Taiwan or South Korea. If you were exposed or accused of being a leftist, your life was not going to go. Well, you know I'm now getting a sense of why one of the four characters in your previous book was an agronomist perhaps. That's right. Yeah it's well It's it's an interesting thing because. It just for national development was often used by the CIA as a cover because. Are Out, in the field, they're not, they're not saying, I'm destined to capitol there often out among the local population and probably have a better sense of what's happening. Outside what you one thing I'll say I've noticed over time in different countries. I've been almost invariably the ex Patriot community that knows best what's happening in the country are tend to be the people are out in the field in often the Middle East is the oil guys. They have a sense much more than than people sitting around in the capital. Let's start with frank wizner. The first person you mentioned, and this is not the the first book to be written at least in part about wisner who was he and what made him. So central to the story wizards amazing Turkey was a corporate lawyer who was working at a Wall Street firm when even before World War Two broke out and he quit his law firm to join the navy, he ended up being an operative for the office to teacher services, which is the the wartime intelligence agency of the of the army that they owe asset kind of the precursor to the CIA. That's right. That's right and he ends up being A. Kind of the first American to to to witness. The Soviet takeover of country in Eastern Europe, and this was in Romanian to summer of nineteen forty. Four So full year before the war ended and a wizard was on the ground as a as an oasis operative and just watch the strong arm tactics did really a matter of weeks led the Soviets to take control the country he and he was sending cables back to Washington telling telling them what are so good allies doing he sees the say he has the same experience in eastern Germany at the end of. The war in watching the way the Soviets for taking over, he goes back to his law from for couple of years for the complete unhappy, and then when the CIA starts up in nineteen forty seven, they have this idea that they wanna start a covert operations branch of of the CIA called the Office of Policy Coordination and frank listeners chosen to head that the name was deliberately chosen to be really boring. That's right and in fact, the name itself, the Office of policy coordination was was so top secret that even you can't even say the name out loud for twenty five years. So in that role wizner e created, what what he called the mighty world, which was this vast covert operations umbrella of a operating throughout the world and everything from hard power aspects of it like dropping dropping partisans behind the iron curtain to everything to cultural stuff voice. Of America. Radio Free Europe that was all came out of the Office of Policy Coordination.
Undercutting Scientists, Trump Says Tightening Covid-19 Vaccine Guidelines ‘Sounds Like a Political Move’
"President trump renewed his criticism yesterday of the FDA accusing the agency of playing politics when it comes to Corona Virus Vaccine The New York Times reported on Tuesday the FDA planning to issue stricter guidelines for the emergency authorization of a potential corona virus vaccine requiring outside experts to weigh in the president reacted yesterday in the White House briefing. Room. We're looking at that should be approved by the white. House. We may or may not approve it That sounds like a political move and why would they have to be you know adding a great lengths to the process we want to have people not get sick. The vaccine is very important. It's the final step I believe it's going to be the final step. And now we're looking at that but I think it's I. think that was a political move more than anything else. Here we go again. or well. Sit Kids. He's saying that the FDA following practice medical and scientific procedures and getting peer review of this process. Is Political. When in fact, what they're doing is they're following their own best practices at the FDA has always followed and being cautious. This is rushing ahead at such a rapid rate. It's breaking down every barrier that is put in place to try to keep Americans safe and Donald Trump is saying a we're going to make it less political by taking it out of the doctors and the scientists stands at the FDA and pulling in to me. The wizard of is the Glenn Hookah to make scientific decisions on vaccines. There's a reason why Americans are saying now that they don't trust this vaccine, win it when it's it's coming out if this process continues going this way and they're experts who many of them now publicly frankly rolling their eyes at the president saying we're GonNa have a vaccine by election day perhaps as the president has said again and again they say, no, we're not and to your point are you going to trust the man who has proven? He will say and do anything to get himself elected including not respecting the outcome of the election were the career professionals, the doctors and Who are working on this problem? Early CDC
Judge dreadthe fight for Ruth Bader Ginsburgs seat
"On Friday US Supreme Court. Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg died of cancer at the age of eighty seven. A candlelit vigil was held the following day outside the Supreme Court. Justice. GINSBURG was only the second woman appointed to the Supreme Court after being nominated by Bill Clinton in one thousand, nine hundred. I. In. Solemnly swear he was a champion of women's rights, and later in life she achieved restore status especially among young women. Now her death has set the stage for a divisive battle to replace her on the court. She was born in Brooklyn to an immigrant Father Dad was from Odessa in in Russia and to a first generation mother she was Jewish John. Fascination is the economist Washington correspondent and she was a trailblazer throughout her life. She was one of only nine women among five hundred men at Harvard law school, and when she arrived. Erwin griswold, who was then the Dean asked women in the class to stand up and justify taking a spot that could have gone to a man. She said the reason she took the spot is it was important that she understood her husband's work that would've made her husband Marty last Mardi was tax attorney well known in his own right he predeceased her but they had a famously loving and productive and equal partnership. She had a relentless work ethic in. Twenty five years in the Supreme Court she never missed today she's arrived four bouts of cancer before this fifth one killed her it was only after she got sick that she called by phone to oral arguments. I. Think People often have this idea that Supreme Court justices are sort of Stentorian wizards ready to shout down lawyer who they disagree with justice. GINSBURG was not like that she spoke very slowly very deliberately, which mirrors I think how she wrote and how she argued and how she thought she was meticulous. She was precise she she was not a showy justice. She came onto the court actually considered a moderate. There are a lot of people on the left who were upset when she was appointed because she was considered sort of two centrist. But as the court steadily moved rightward during her tenure, she has found herself the de facto leader of the courts liberal wing. Junk she spent a long time on the court. What did she achieve? Well, she was on the Supreme Court for Twenty seven years, and before that was on the DC Circuit Court of Appeals, which is widely considered the second most important court in America for for thirteen. So she was a judge for forty years I was age sixty when I was nominated in some people thought I was. Too Old for the job. Now I'm into my twenty-seventh starting my twenty-seventh year on the courts on one of the longest tenured. Justices. So if you worried about my age. It was unnecessary. Before that, she argued six cases before the Supreme Court and she was involved with thirty more as the first director of the US women's rights project. The first of those report court cases was in Reid versus Reid for which she wrote a brief arguing against the law in Ohio that preferred men to women in naming executive estates. She won that case in her first oral argument before the Supreme Court. She argued against the military policy that denied many husbands, officers, the same housing and medical benefits that automatically provided officers. Wise. The thinking was that women are somehow inherently more dependent on their husbands and husbands on their wise. Now, in that case, remember she effectively represented the husband she represented family but she represented the shoes argue in favor of the husband's benefits and she austin said that she was not arguing for women's rights she was arguing for the constitutional equality of men and women. Her death is come at a critical time in American politics. It's just six weeks away from the election. So what impact does that have? Well I think it's a little too early to say that definitively. It looks as though both sides are gearing up for battle, but they seem to be quietly circling each other in two thousand sixteen. The Supreme Court is central to Donald Trump's success I think because. There is an open seat in two thousand, Sixteen Justice Antonin Scalia died, and Mitch McConnell who is then the Senate minority leader rather than hold a hearing on Barack Obama's chosen replacement for Justice Scalia whose Merrick Garland he came up with a rationale disguises the principle which was that the causing election was coming up the speech beheld open. So the voters could decide now that had never been done before it was clearly a power play. It was a live sort of issue for Republicans impelled I think a lot of them who otherwise would have held donald trump at arm's length to decide that just had to vote for him this time I. Think Donald Trump is hoping for a similar effect this time, but he also wants to get the filled as quickly as possible. For Democrats donations had started pouring in, they have been pouring all weekend. Democrats seem riled up by this. I think in their view if Donald Trump managed to get a successor onto the court, this'll be the seconds effectively stolen seat right? The I was Neil Gorsuch. who was given the seat that was held open by Mitch McConnell, and the second would be whoever donald trump nominees to replace justice GINSBURG who gets the seat because Mitch McConnell did not follow the principle he set up in two thousand sixteen. John Do you think Senate. Republicans have the numbers to they have the votes to get in trump's nominee through before the election. Well this is the question on everyone's mind. Right so far Susan Collins and Lisa Murkowski Republican senators from from Maine Alaska, had said that they will not vote for replacement before November third they have said that the president who wins on November third you choose the replacement now that only gets Democrats to forty nine and they need fifty one because in the case of a tie Mike. Pence cast the tiebreaking vote Lindsey Graham had previously said he would abide by Mitch McConnell's rule from twenty sixteen. He has now gone back on that apparently because he's angry Democrats didn't roll over for Brad Cavanaugh Chuck. Grassley, who's a senator from Iowa has also previously spoken in favor of McConnell's precedent. I, have a very hard time imagining that when push comes to shove, he'll stand by his. Word and so there really is nothing Democrats can do unless they can persuade two other Republicans to come join them, and if they can't persuade those Republicans and tip the balance what happens. Then what are the consequences for the years ahead on American politics? It's clear that what McConnell did in two thousand sixteen was a tremendous violation of norms I think it's not a good principal to. Uphold I think arguing that this is now how Supreme Court seats should be awarded that in an election year, you effectively have to hold the seat open until the end of the election is a bad precedent but I think there's a difference between saying Republicans should be consistent for the sake of consistency and Republicans should follow this principle because that's how court seat should be given out now. From the Democratic Base, there's been a tremendous push to threaten Republicans with repercussions if. Retake. The Senate and the president in that includes making Puerto Rico in Washington DC states, which would effectively at least in the near in medium-term Give Democrats four senators people have also been talking about expanding the court. So the reason they are Nice Ring Court justices is not constitutional legal. It's just a statute. So if they were minded and had a majority had a president who would sign it into law, they put eleven or thirteen justices on the supreme court. The problem with that for Democrats I think is that it sort of shifts the terms. Of the debate that they are now winning I think the way Joe, Biden has pitched. This campaign is on the one hand. You have the sort of chaotic destructive Donald Trump on the other. You have Joe Biden Palm known figure who will get us back to normal. If, he comes out and endorses expanding the court or State of DC in Puerto Rico, which to be clear he has not done. He is actually a opposed expanded from court but if he comes out if Democrats threaten this, then the debate becomes a lot murkier. Then it becomes the radical change that Joe Biden wants to do right take fifty, two states and putting thirteen on Supreme Court against Donald Trump will keep things as are I think that debate does not play out very well for Democrats. John Thank you very much time.

So the Apple Watch is seeing a couple of upgrades or price adjustment. So there's a watch Six. I believe a watch s ee. What's the story with the Yeah, They've got too much to models every year, they updated and once again they they've added some really huge features on the series six, which is their main line open. Spend $300 for it. Watch. They've added blood oxygen sensors to it. So it has basically as you're wearing it, a Chinese light that shines light and You three or screen for your skin and incentive, the color of your blood and the blood. Yeah, so and works as ah, of course, better than the production centers, a lot of a spot for the covert epidemic but the really cool things, But the apple other companies will add these beach at features to fitness watch, But it's just sort of a feature. Apple did such a great job of integrating with everything else. So this blood oxygen center? Yes, you can. You can decide. Hey, please tell me what my blocks in saturation levels right now. But it will also just keep sensing it is, of course, the day so if there's any alarming sort of a change, it will give you an alert saying, Hey, this is unusual even works as you're sleeping. I just want to go back to one thing that you said is we wrap it up here. You said that the watch shines a light into your skin. Yes, well, we know that the purest courses pretty translucent. So if that's the way it doesn't that's AH along Go. I won't tell you too long here, but that's one of the interesting sort of limitations of these business watches. But of course, it can't do anything that sort of breaks. The skin on DH presents one of the holy grails of fitness watches. Being able to take lunch, blood sugar readings or two and do stuff like that. But unfortunately, there has been some experimentation that way, but there's no way to do it. But with blood oxygen, they found ways around it that again. They're not taking obviously not taking a blood draw, which is the most most efficient way of doing it. Open source developer and Gitcoin creator Kevin Owocki discusses modern fundraising
"To jump right into it in the world, of Crypto, currency money is important depending on your view bitcoin itself is or aspires to be money in a very real way and without question, the craziest time Crypto have surrounded or even just been entirely about fundraising for projects. This has always been positive though in the later stages of the initial coin offering praise it seemed like raising money became the point rather than what it was being raised to accomplish in its aftermath. It's become increasingly obvious that what's being funded matters at least as much as how you get the funding but how you get the funding is important to. A couple of weeks ago Andrey's, and I were talking about an open source project. He'd actually used get coin to fund is, can you tell that story can here? Yeah absolutely. You know every now and then I come across an idea or find a gap in the court system where I think it would be really useful if we had a software gizmo to do X. Y. or Z. and even though I can code myself I don't have the time to embark on these little projects. So as I've done in the past I looks for way to funded developer to do this work and this time I decided to use bitcoin I've been Aware of it and looked at it in the past. But now I had a real project to sink my teeth in. So the projects was to develop a plug in or changing the wizard of the electron import in order to enable it to discover derivation paths, and I'm no monnet craze that has been used in a different wallet where the user doesn't know what the derivation path is and keeps having difficulty recovering funds. This is a problem, a lot of newbies have. And so I put up a he basically and a bounty is a pot of money in this case denominated in the stable coin die so that it's the equivalent value and I put up a one thousand dollar bounty for about forty to sixty hours of work approximately I estimated to develop this capability I wrote a specification as a get hub issue and the I thing. About Bitcoin is that it integrates directly into get hub. So I could take the issue where described the desired feature in detail and then attached the bounty directly to that, and then have developers come and pitch to take on that bounty and executed. It was completed a couple of weeks ago paid out and it's a feature that's being merged into hopefully the next version of Elektra. Now, that tool that you had created actually you and I had a little back and forth about it because turns out that you don't necessarily a Newbie to run into the problems that you were trying to solve their and we actually wound up using it to solve a big problem. I've been working on for a couple of months, but that's going to be another episode. Entirely, today we're talking with Kevin Kevin, can you just kind of take us through the basics of bitcoin was kind of the goal and how is it operating? Let's just start off with the most basic question for people who aren't familiar with the project. Is there a bitcoin or is this something that builds using as Andrea saying die or other types of Tokens as a reward? Yet, that's a great place to start. There is no bitcoin token bitcoin is a place where you can get coins. If you're a software developer in exchange for doing software development tasks, we have unfortunately from a branding perspective gotten swept up with a lot of the projects. Did do ICO's IOS in two thousand seventeen even though we never did in Seo. So. Take us back to the beginning kind of what was the thinking about this project in general what was the problem that you were trying to solve, and then how did you end up solving? So I've been working in web startups for the last thirteen years pretty much ever since I graduated from school and every software project that I've ever worked on has been an open source software projects. So whenever I start a new start up I will use python, which is an open source programming language. I will use an open source database server, I will use an open. Source Web server, and so every time I've built a start up all the stuff that you see in tech crunch are standing on the shoulders of giants of open source software and basically every time I've built a software startup I've been using open source software and open source software crates, billions of dollars of value for the world, but there's good way for software developers to monetize. The work that they do in open source software, and so that was sort of founding reason why I created Bitcoin, which is a double sided market connect software developers to the people want to fund their work in open source software in the sort of insight is that now using the blockchain space, we now have billions of dollars of capital that's going to open source software. Whereas before in the old financial system, all of the money that goes into it goes to some back office on wall. Street. So what if we could build a marketplace where the software developers they can sort of be the routing mechanism for the money going to software developers and have it the blockchain native project? That's what get coin is and that was the genesis of Bitcoin.

Why Lionel Messi Wants Out of FC Barcelona
"Sam borden six years ago we were in Brazil together and my facial hair situation was not good. I mean that isn't what stands out for me Pablo but. I think I. Think we all have different memories of experiences. SAMBORN is a global sports correspondent for ESPN and kind enough to forget the unfortunate beard I grew for five weeks while we were covering the two thousand fourteen World Cup it's actually kind of funny right I mean now World Cup in Brazil Lionel Messi was a big part of the story there and obviously is a big part of the story today to. We got to see Leo Messi in a World Cup final Sam and you fast forward six years and I bring you here today because Messi announced last week that he wants to leave F c Barcelona after a nearly seventeen year stint. Tell me why this is a big deal. The obvious answer is that Messi is the most famous athlete on the planet may be one of the most famous people in the entire world. He is not just a generational star he is a star that defines a sport. When you talk about people that are known all over the world for being absolute craftsmen absolute artisans at what they do messy is that guy? Governor. From the magical. Curiel who knows? He's a little guy from Argentina, who is an absolute wizard with a soccer ball? Hey, just tonsure. RIP UP OF REASON A perennial. He's magical. He's calculating. He's one of the most creative players with sport has ever seen. I said. I think one of the things that has always made him even bigger than just. As, see and other sports these his diminutive stature, he's not a giant he's not the one of these massive bodies. I've been in front of him several times and I'm five ten and I looked down on him quite a bit. To me that's what makes him during and beloved by so many people is that he kind of Rome's among giants and somehow finds a way to succeed in a way that no other player ever has coming up with gold medal messy. He made Barcelona. The juggernaut that it is today and him moving on that say massive seismic shift, not just in soccer but in sports.
One Strange NBA Lottery, and What We Learned and Laughed About
"Let's start with a little draft lottery reacts from your draft, lottery experts no dogs no. Timber Wolves won the number one pick in the twenty twenty NBA draft last night after winning the League's annual draft lottery many entered the night with a fourteen percent chance of moving up to number one the same odds as the warriors and the cavs for best in the League. Best chance at that. So here's the full lottery breakdown for you guys at Number One, the wolves to warriors three Hornets four, bulls trae. Hawk six. Seven Pistons Eight Knicks Hilarious. Nine. Wizards. Ten Sons, Eleven Spurs twelve kings thirteen Pelicans and the fourteenth pick in the lorry goes to the Celtics by way of the Grizzlies. So the big winners yeah. Besides the wolves were those two teams that made significant jumps, you had MJ's Hornets moving up to eighth and trays bowls moving up from the seventh position. All the way up to number four congratulations to you is that a win in your books you'll love to see it. Somehow the Bulls aren't drafting seven I don't even remember what that's like what a summer for the Bulls Boylan, his gone second place in horse and now the fourth. Everything's turning up for Chicago I'm. Thrilled
Travel to Iowa
"I'd like to welcome to the show Sarah brewers from travel with Sara, dot com, and also mid west travel network, DOT COM and oddly enough we're going to talk about the mid West and specifically serious here to talk to us about Iowa Sarah Welcome to the show. Thank you for having me. I'm excited to be here excellent well and I put out the. Word among my travel blogger brethren and written and I don't think that this thing put a couple of weeks ago and said, I've got three missing states I missing Iowa Nebraska and Hampshire, and at least one person I think it was more than one said if you want Iowa have to talk to Sarah and why is that? Sarah. What's the connection to Iowa? Well I live in Iowa. I have lived here all my life and I live on I will farm I'm married the neighbor boy in two thousand eight I started a blog and it was in two thousand thirteen that I really dove into the travel side of things. But the one thing that I realize is a lot of people didn't know a whole lot about the mid West or my home state of Iowa in. Most people don't realize that I will has beautiful cornfields and soybean fields we have that, but we have a lot of other amazing things and that's why you need to come to Iowa to visit and we're GONNA get into all of those today and I can't wait to share I. Clinical Slices a paradise will normally ask why someone should go I. Think you jumped into that one ahead of time anything else you would add to that I will surprise you I think the art, the culture, the scenic byways will blow you away. You could spend probably one home month exploring Iowa's scenic byways and I think that's pretty darn. Cool excellent will and where are you going to take us to what you're gonNA recommend where we starting. Well, let's start and do and. North, central. Iowa. Route, which is near where I live. I live near Mason. City. Mason. City Clear Lake and we're GONNA go to Charles City those three towns there, and then he can go up to forest city where you can see we're winnebago motorhomes are made. So you start in Mason city, Mason cities, a great base camp, and I would recommend that you stay in the park in hotel. The parking hotel is the last known hotel in the world designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. Can stay there. Okay. People come from all over the world to Mason City Iowa population twenty six thousand something. So I have to Mason City, but I stayed in the holiday and see this is my mistake. You need to come back and see if the. I'll give you the grand old tour I. Didn't know he had designed any hotels. That's true. The first thing people say to me is Oh I don't think I could afford to stay there. and. I'm telling you that rooms at the Parken Hotel in Mason city. Iowa. Are Very affordable. I'm talking one twenty, nine to one, fifty, nine at night in a historic hotel. Designed by Frank Lloyd. Wright. I mean that is amazing. So when you're in Mason City, you want to do the river city's sculptures on parade, which is a sculpture walk, and it's always fun because I travel a lot and you know these artists that create these sculptures are all across America and maybe some of you've seen the Humpty dumpty sculpture that's around. I. Know I'M Thinking, the last place I saw one was in Mesa Arizona Okay I just have to take a Selfie with it because I'm like here's how you know Humpty kind of manages to be wherever I am but the sculptures are really a nice walk because they also take you through the Rock Glen area in Mason City, which is where there are other Frank Lloyd Wright designed homes. So is not only the hotel. There's other homes there as well and McKnight or art museum is a fantastic museum in town. They have the bayard puppets, Baird Marionettes, wizard of Oz the marionnettes that we're using the wizard of Oz are in the museum in Mason City and you can go across the street to Music Man Square we what puppets were in wizard of Oz are we talking about flying monkeys or what? Yes. Monkey is there okay it's a really Nice Museum but then you go across the street and you go to Meredith Wilson's boyhood. Home The music man. So, Meredith Wilson was born in Mason city. Iowa. And the Music Man Square has museum in there that is home to. Meredith Willson. So in the streetscape is in there and it looks just like in the movie, but you would envision it. So that's pretty cool. Meredith Willson he's also buried in Mason City and you know what? There's a lot of people that look for famous people were buried. You know who knew a lot of people cemetery tourism is kind of a big deal but then you go, let's go estimates saying you've already Charles City and get to Whitewater rafting most people don't think of Iowa and Whitewater rafting. And you can do that in Charles City Iowa. In Charles City I'm not sure eight, ten thousand people maybe. And you can stay in a luxury cabin there at red? Cedar. Lodge cabins that are overlooking the river great place for extended families to stay. But you've got the river
Bucks' Giannis Antetokounmpo suspended one game for headbutting Wizards' Moe Wagner
"Is playing the Milwaukee Bucks and you would say, Oh, yeah, Milwaukee should win that game. We don't know what the bucks they're gonna look like on the court. And how? How many minutes. Are those bucks Players going, Teo get Here's one thing, though, in a game last night were Yannis onto the Campo probably didn't need supply. He did play, so you would have wondered if Mike Budenholzer would've put onto the tempo out in the court tomorrow. Up against the Memphis Grizzlies. Now he doesn't have that option to do so, because you're honest onto the Campo got hit with a one game suspension for a foolish head. But last night On most Wagner and we've seen the honest answer component on the bubble, pick a fight with Dante Hall of the Nets, and then picked a fight with also Mo Wagner. And they were both unnecessary. Why are you doing that? Why you put in yourself in that situation? It's not like you're headbutting LeBron or CO I Leonard, your head butting two guys that Don't mean a damn thing to you, and both their team stink. So you're going to be a back to back M v p Award winner? Maybe trying to pick up the intensity in the bubble, which I could appreciate on DH. Maybe because you know, everyone's saying your season doesn't mean anything until yeah. Get to the embassy finals and really your season starts the postseason. Maybe you just get in and see that that's finally coming. But for Johannes last night, what he was doing was absolutely foolish, and I don't get it and even after the game He realized that it was a mistake and what he did. Terrible action. Um, never go back. Turn back time and club XL playing. I wouldn't do it. But then they know human making state's got out of
Bucks' Giannis Antetokounmpo ejected from game after headbutting Wizards' Moe Wagner
"Beat. The Wizards won 26 1 13 Yet the ugly incident for Jonathan said a coop Oh, ejected For head butting Mo Wagner. The TV broadcast as we know supposed to let the pictures kind of tell the story not as much detail as you get on the radio side, but the books TV team taking that to a new level when they got a look at the first replay, lot of O's and know that all you got With him afterwards, John. It's admitting that he just lost it in that moment. You're in the zone. Just just like you don't think you know him. I might take a second or two that you don't think you do something. Wagner. I I didn't see this game. Did Wagner say something to him? Like what? Prompted that a hard foul? Yeah, they were jawing mean there It was play. It stopped. And they were John. And as they kind of came together, they were definitely you know, in each other's faces and talking trash. Donna says they came basically chest the chest. Just it was a legit headbutt. So I don't know what he said. But my God, Mo Wagner, by the way, has changed the back of his jersey to don't head butt me gonna be on the back of your S O. We'll see if there's any are what kind of discipline there is free, honest, obviously not great timing with the playoffs right around the corner if there's any sort of suspension at all.

Interview with Thriller Writer Andrew Allan - burst 1
"Hi. Everyone may guest is the author of the wall Asher Thriller series you also right to grind house hulk. We've gotten talked about. He is an infomercial writer and director is also into wild cope movies making them I believe. And runs a website called daily. Grind House Dot. com I guess today's Andrew. Allan. Hi Andrew. Thanks for being here. It's Sure thing I love your resume I mean you're you're by it was fascinating to me because I love sill as well as books I assumed that you were infomerrcial rendered director before you started writing books. Yes. Yeah I, my career is little bit weird in the sense that I went to film school and then I, broke two commercials while I was working on developing movies and I ended up getting a job at the home shopping network, which is based here in Saint Pete Florida and. It's bizarre. Everyone presumes it is, but it was really great experience and I learned how to do a lot of things including sell on TV and that often into doing infomercials, which is selling on TV so and I have to say I love it as ridiculous as it sounds I it's great profession. Sounds. Really cool actually. What made you decide to do infomercials and what prompted you to start writing books? Money prompted me to start doing infomercials. Is You know we all need it. We all like it. But three Oris was. Like I said, I. Learned to basically sell on television when as at. and. That is a natural transition into infomercials and when I decided Lake Age San. I knew I wanted to make my writing or sorry make my living still riding in. If, directing producing commercials. In what was great about infomercials was at a Niche. So instead of just saying, Hey, I'M A. Commercial writer and there's ten thousand other people are competing with. I said been infomercial right better and maybe ten people on meeting with. So now I can like authentically say one of the top it from our show writers world and I've got a ton of experience done thousands of commercials in the ask aid and all that sort of stuff so. It's great and that's how that came to be the reason I started writing books. was because I I remember reasons when I was creatively frustrated had been making movies had been writing screenplays in. which were fun and some of them got made some of them did. But all of them required collaboration and I had reached a point where I didn't really want to collaborate anymore. At least for a while, I needed a break. And that's even on projects that I absolutely loved movie that was aching with my best friend and. Even then like we would get into arguments and about I just needed a break from that. So I wanted to do something on my own and that's when I decided to write a book had a story. Kind of kicking around that I'd never been able to turn into a script. I finally figured out how to make that work in book form, which was the first of Asher took and. Took it from there, the other the other part of that story is. I was actually reading a book by. A very famous author that we all know who I'm not GONNA name and Not to sound Eric and I thought it was terrible house like a weight. and. I actually caught myself saying I could do better. And? You know a very arrogant thing to save for someone who's never. But I decided to see if I could back up. And I think I did. unbelie speaking I didn't think I was right. Funny because a lot of writers actually do start offers those kinds of thoughts I do this. Anyway it wasn't even looking down at the writing it was in fact. The looking at the idea of being writer was more like this story is not entertaining be and. I know enough about story structure from screen plays and things like that. where I could look at this and say, really was about me thinking this guy should be doing a lot better for albig their name is and how much money. Yeah. You points for originality on coming up with a protagonist is infomercial writer. Director. But I see that you've drawn from your own background or at least I assume you have. Tell US little about wall. Ask How is it? He gets into the kinds of situations that would lead to thriller. Series. What I had to figure out. As. He is comes from my background. I did go down the road of right now and that's because. As confident as I was writing commercials in his confident as was writing movies I had no confidence whatsoever writing a book so I figured I ought to. Rely on everything that I could get off the so. And then plus the idea. Of Him being an infamous rider was intriguing. You know. I. Like all of us had written read million books about cops and lawyers and soldiers, detectives and reporters. That's great. People are probably doing it better than me. So let me try something completely different. And I worked at it worked because I think wall what I like about wall. What I like about these books is that he has to rely persuasion to kind of get by doesn't mean he's not physical. There's a lot of action in the books and But. But he is a true amateur sleuth who has nothing to do with. Justice and basically starts out he lives on the Rainbow River, which is a real. River Donnellan Florida about two hours north where I. In he's he's in the river because data's friend's house by the water and finds his friend dead on the Bank of the river. With an alligator in the process of Jim up. But it's clear that the alligator did not kill him so. One thing leads to another and the villain in the story overplays its hand. And attempts to kill. Walt. And it becomes very clear that he has to do. Something a balance it's no. A- paranoid. It's legitimate in in the Diet figuring out. took. Let's see you also, right. Does poke at the series also correct. Those books like you fun. Grind House. I I. Guess. Okay so Basically the Grind House was forty second street movie theaters in the Sixties Seventies in eight Times Square. And They Kinda just show like all the really gross horror movies the karate movies, all kinds of stuff you know movies that were generally looked down upon, but also provided extremely visceral thrill. And I love those movies I think they're A. A love cult movies, and so my grind house pulse series is basically me coming up with ideas for grind house movies, it putting them at goes. It's different than like the wall Asher stuff is war. Thriller Mystery Thriller Suspense Ryan How's Paul is pushed things over the edge a little bit more. you know there's more violence and there's You know just like you'd see in those insane movies and they're really they're. Their books of movies I would love to see. Yeah Yeah. You. Should check public domain deserves some really crazy things that you probably already know that. That's for sure. Oh my gosh. If you receive Nanos hands a fate. Badly. I had yes. Oh my God. That's all say about that. There's some movies that are just so bad. You have to see them. That's one of them. Well, that's a little part of my resume I produced Herschell, Gordon Lewis's last movie. Own Donahue Herschel is he's the guy. He was the first guy to put Gore in a move back nine hundred and sixty three in the movie blood feast. and He did other movies like wizard of Gore or girls and two thousand maniacs. E, Kinda started it all and he was. Low budget exploitation filmmaker and I had the great fortune of. Meeting him in basically getting to produce a movie for one of my heroes. While that's fantastic. That's wonderful To get back to Walt. Is there an overall story ARC in series? So the first book was really just a test to see if I write a book. Well and that feeling. Of. Really sort of rabbit story. There was a slight. Subtle hints. To where it could go beyond that story. Then after I thought about it and I liked the process and I thought the book went well and I didn't get demolished by reviews as like yeah I'll continue the so. As it exists now there's a three book. Arc. Where each is a complete story of their full length novels, but the villain is the same in the three of them. The Antagonists Casino tag is more of a secret organisation kind of thing than just one person specifically. So there's arc with that and then in between each novel. I, I wrote an Avella. And those are side stories, featuring walt and some of the same characters from the boat but not related to that big overarching story. So. Just kind of Nice it's sort of like a breather in between, but you still get to spend time with the characters. That's cool. Yeah. Most of those are. Rooted in the fact that. Waltz basically best friend up on the river where he lives. Dining digi who is actually a criminal biker. And he's into all kinds of criminal stuff but he's just Kinda like one of those Florida Good Ole boys who are fun to be around and for whatever reason he likes wall is completely not of his world. So in the NOVELLAS. Those. Tend to focus on D. G. Getting Wall to do something for digi in that usually on the danger things like that, and and that's what cell shock which giveaway book for this interview is one of those things. Lead. US

"Louis Feed Bank and feeding America. So you guys have been really engaged is bid. Just been part of kind of the way you you know many ways in which you pull the team together at a time like this you can kind of make me channel guys into the cause here and you know focus on on what everybody can do proactively. Certainly everything starts with with the generosity of our ownership group and Ted Leonsis head of monumental. Sports is always had the double bottom line. We have very much about being great neighbors and caring about the community around us and it just trickles down to everybody and organization so the wizard side our players actually approached said. Hey what can we do? How can we help? And you try to solve things. I start locally in offbeat that are on the front lines in DC. The healthcare workers that was something or out more. Nate and ward eight is an area. That's at as has Has Really recognize a lot of the economic recovery of other parts of DC is still up in common in our facilities kind of the temple of Ordway to we want to reach out and having relationships with hospitals that are closest toward a is there on the front lines working with the Kobe patients and stuff so that was just a small thing. Everybody on our team is doing something. Either here in DC something in their own hometown to making the world a better place if it's feeding people if it's if it's extra money For for gift cards for people that are having trouble making ends meet every players out there trying to do stuff and Bradley and John Certainly been at the front of that but all of our players have reached out and make connections and made donations the thing that the feeding the front miss a real simple way that we could show our gratitude for people that are really putting themselves at risk every single day to help help helpfully get people back on their feet. Yeah no that's great As it has been very cool just seeing the the NBA has been. I'm sure I'm sure the other sports have to probably. I'm not paying close attention but I do think the NBA's been really good On this across the board being really engaged and also not just the all the contributions and everything else but Steph curry interviewing Dr Fao. She an all day thing. It's it's been it's been cool. It's been very fun to see all right. So if you'll indulge me on this I I was on a podcast with Fred Katz. Great Wizards beat writer for the athletic. A few months back and I I've laid out why I think and this is the awkward conversation to have reported to. Gm We're friends. So I know you'll take this the right way. I'm not advocating. The Bradley beal should leave the wizards. But I've I've kind of laid out a few times including on Fred's podcasts. Why think it feels to me almost inevitable in this in this era of player empowerment player movements superstar movement? That that we're on a path here so let me lay out the the because it's only fair if I if I'm going to put this case out there tell me what I'm wrong. Or what the counter argument is I look at bill and I say he's. He's turning twenty seven in June. Two Time All star eight years in coming off one of his best seasons certainly statistically but did not make the all star team probably in large part because of the wizards record. That's that's held him back a little bit and certainly a point of frustration. He's he's he's been upfront about that. been in the playoffs. Four Times has not been past the second round and his his co star. John Wall is turning thirty in September and coming off of one of the toughest injuries in the NBA to recover from. And so my feeling is I would totally understand it if I'm not. I'm not advocating this. But if I were his agent maybe if I were anybody in his camp I'd be saying well you know what you gotta you gotTa look at where you are. You're firmly in your prime. Your Co Star is coming back from this really tough injury. He's about to turn thirty wizards got some some short-term cap issues here still you know Tommy Sheppard I know zoom be doing all these great things now as as GM but can you afford to wait that long. Bradley beal to me just seeing the way. This league has gone the last five to ten years and you and I have been around about the same amount of time in this league. You we've seen were things have shifted and guys are taking it on themselves to say you know what I I. It's it's my career. I'm going to steer it and if I don't WanNa wait or if I think there's a better path to winning somewhere else I'm GonNa go. We've seen it many many times. We don't need to go through all the examples but the basic outline of it and then the last piece of that is this too. I know that modern medicine is great. And I'm sure John Wall as you've noticed working his tail off to get back to who he was but no one's one hundred percent after an Achilles so even if he's at eighty percent ninety percent whatever it is even at one hundred percent they were not getting out of the second round in prior years. So I look at all that and I think it would be reasonable to feel like this is where this is going to tell me where I'm wrong or what I missing or what. The counterargument is for bills. Long term. Future. With the wizards well. It's always something that I take into consideration what you're saying certainly but I I will tell you this in no offense at all but you don't know Bradley beal not putting on the scale that Bradley's his own man and you're right it does happen around the League but he made a decision this summer to extend with us in his whole thing is I want to be that I plays with one team mile entire friend of mine entire career. I WanNa be the guy that made the change and help us. Elevate this franchise and go win a championship. And he has strong shoulders to carry this franchise. We built this team from three years ago when we were in the playoffs. Last you know the only players left on our roster next season We had his John Wall and Bradley. Beal you know the NBA changes fast. We add team. That was About eight minutes from going to the conference finals against Boston broke down in the fourth quarter on the road of a great series and since then John Really hasn't been healthy. Radley got us to the play offs the following year basically on his own We lost Toronto in six games. And then ever since then we've add difficult injuries but we changed our entire roster this summer when I sat down with Bradley actually at the end of last season we did our exit interview. Ask them what is it? GonNa take for you to believe in us to believe there was a change. I was the interim general manager Russell. Tell me what it's GonNa take for you to be part of this franchise moving forward and first and foremost is hey. Let's let's have the best possible work ethic highest character. Guys guys just WanNa work their butts off and get better everyday. That sets the tone that Bradley beal wants and we did that. We we change our roster completely as I said. Have a lot of young guys. We have some key additions. Britan's Ish Smith you know and I think when you add some of the thesis that we did Through the drafts. Through some trays. We kinda netted out with a pretty exciting roster with eight guys. Twenty three and younger that that can grow and Bradley's these is in the prime of his career and I think you'll be all NBA team this year as a matter of fact but I think he really was excited about what this first season. What he saw under under our leadership. I believe that he has been unbelievable partner in all the building that we've done he's been consulted on everything. I ask his input constantly. He's been. He has a great relationship with our coaching staff. And and we talk about Ford Player. Development is and all of our young players. Bradley's player development went up this year. He took his game to another level. he was robbed of an All Star. Opportunity this year. For whatever reason the coaches didn't select him I think he's made a point to make sure that they understand. It might have made a mistake and I see him being on the NBA team. As I said those are things. I don't think matters Bradley as much so. Let's get to the playoffs win games. That's what he's about in again. I I know you've interviewed him over the years but really being around I've seen the transformation she walked into our doors. The day he turned nineteen years old. And I've spent pretty much his whole career with him and I think we have always been very transparent with each other and he made it clear to me. This is where I WANNA be. I WanNa win and let's put the pieces together. I'm patient. I'll do whatever we have to do. This year will get John Back. That's GonNa be a big piece but we're going to grow and guess what I'm getting better every day. And that's Bradley saying that. And I know he can help carry this franchise if we've been patient but we're not going to be very patient very long. We want to win. And I think all these young players have shown no the drafting of Bradley was very fond of that. Some of the additions mobile bogner and obviously troy ground continues to grow. And you start throwing names out there and I don't WanNa leave anybody out but we have plenty of good young players to go with Nice roster and I think the addition of diabetes opened Bradley's IRA as the two brads used to be in the best shooter every Single Day in the gym. He goes into the guy who can challenge on that and and that really helps spread the floor and improve Brad. These opportunities on Florida's have a better shoes with him and adding Thomas Brian over the last year. All these guys Bradley if he didn't mention them by name you mentioned them by trade. This is what we need and we went out and acquired those things and now you've got to be patient and grow. I'm nobody's more impatient than I am and I really determined. I think this year we were on a pretty good trajectory. Some bad injuries at key moments of the season where we lost ruined for twenty plus we lost Wagner. We we're in women the doors open. We'll be in the nice spot you know. We were still competing for a playoffs spot this year in spite of all the injuries have John. So I make the case that I'd take my cues from Bradley and we talk every day and he loves what we're doing these excited about teacher think he's up for the challenge and I know he's under contract so we're in a good place. And he's never given any other indication other than how much he loves his ear and what she's looking forward not even just. I always going to his you know his Jersey to the rafters one day but it only matters damn splitting of Jamshid band up there. It's up to us to put that together. We have great leadership with Ted Leonsis. That's where all franchises are going to succeed or fail based on owner. Ted Ted has been the most committed owner of ever dealt with professional sports and he's all about championships he's got the capital's race abandoned the mystics raise the banner arena football teams. Raise the banner. So course whereas the wizards we're going to do that and we have. What is our absolute goal moving forward? But you can't cut cut corners to get there. We gotTA build it the right way. You mentioned financially. I think we're going to be in a good place moving forward. I cannot predict what the caps gonNA look like. That's not here to discuss Able to add through the draft that through free agents certainly get a roster better when you forward and that's what I'm looking forward to with Brad so at a long answer to your question so it was a long question so you know in a long preamble by me so it deserved a long detailed answer so see what people don't get to see right now or maybe they saw t shirt but it. It says we're not shutting down either of us going to on that. I'm GONNA tell you this Bradley bill for every indication he's given us. He is very happier and moving forward. He's looking forward to the challenge. And that's all great to hear and that is the kind of detailed and thoughtful response I would expect from ut ship and listen ultimately abundantly clear to fans..

"We'll do some NATs later on with Mark Zuckerman for Massin. They swept the Philly's last night and starting tonight they've got a huge series with the first place. Braves in see in the weather should be fine. All weekend long. So we'll save that for later in the show. Gary Williams will be on the show as well to talk about the draft. I'll get his perspective on a lot of the players, but certainly on hot Shimura, the player the wizards selected Gary's. Good friends, with Mark few the Gonzaga coach and he pays attention to Gonzaga. So we'll talk to him in a little bit as well. The wizards got two players in the draft last night. At number nine, the first ever Japanese player to be drafted. Rui Hummer a six eight two hundred and thirty pound power forward out of Gonzaga. He was a first team all American, and he was a big part of a team that at one point was ranked number one in the country and was one of the favorites to get to the final foreign win the national championship probably on paper, Mark fuse, best team at Gonzaga part of that was because of him part of it was because of Brandon Clark. They just had a very good team by the way, just to get this out of the way right now. This is a huge deal for Japan hotch Moore of being the first ever Japanese player to be drafted into the NBA is a huge deal for Japan, by the way, he's got a Japanese mother, if you're, you're interested, his father is from a west African country called of Benin, but this is a huge deal in Japan and make no mistake, the wizards are going to become. I'm a favorite team in Japan with gear all over the place in hotch Moorer. Wizards jerseys, all over the place in the franchise is going to benefit from that now I have no idea for sure whether or not displayed into the decision. So I'm gonna move on from this, because a I don't know and be hotch. Mariah is a good player who wasn't overdrafted you know, according to most experts in most mock drafts it's not like he was incredibly overdrafted. He was re there in the mix to be a lottery pick, you know leading up to the draft last night. Now, my view of hotch, Moore is this, first of all we did a very lengthy draft preview yesterday that really irritated Tommy, I loved the fact that that irritated Tommy yesterday. I said that I I like them but I don't love him. I like a lot of people more, including his teammate, Brandon Clark who I really liked and liked a lot more. Than hot shimmer. That's just me, you know, Hummer became a guy that we as college basketball fans really became aware of as a potential first round NBA pick. And I talked about him during the course of the season on the podcast. But when he broke out in Maui, last November, they beat Illinois they beat Arizona. And then on the night before thanksgiving, they beat Duke when in the moment early in that season people were talking about Duke as an unbeatable team. Remember they had opened the season by nine leading Kentucky. And that was an upset that night Gonzaga was ranked what two or three that was at a number one versus number two matchup..

"I mean, yeah, he's a strong defensive presence whose previous stint with teams mean he has strong older brother type relationships with the number of Washington's players. But also, well fixing the wizards is a lot to ask just look at the way. This trade went down. It was originally supposed to be three team deal that also involved Memphis with Washington GM, Ernie Grunfeld as the go between, but the whole thing ridiculously hilariously broke down. When according to our Agent Orange now ski, quote, the grizzlies and Suns insisted each had been double crossed unquote because Memphis believed the deal included. Marshon Brooks who looks like this. And the sun's thought it included. Dillon Brooks who looks like that NBA Twitter, of course, had a field day with all of those culminating in this from Dillon Brooks, which is amazing. And I mean, I gotta hand it to the wizards here because the sons have spent the past few seasons as the NBA most prominent hold my beer franchise, and yet somehow wall negotiating with them. Washington. Outdid them by Saturday things were Mercifully cleaned up. And now Phoenix can go forward and fully embrace another season playing for a high draft pick and the wizards can embrace. Well, clearly, they think they're still in it, which is why they acquired a Reza instead of trying to deal either, Bradley Beal or wall. Now, are they actually honestly I wouldn't dare to make a prediction about anything involving the wizards this weekend was a great example of why? So Mark, do you think that this shakeup this is what the wizards needed for this season? Or is it just another story line for wall in order DC in two thousand fourteen in a gun in Paul Pierce? They did very well. And I thought he was a great influence on that team. I thought he got the best. Test out of wall out of Bill and was a veteran presence that they need it. Now, they're a little older, they're not the young wizards anymore young stars anymore. But I think reason could have that same kind of influence on them as well as giving them a veteran guy that could tell him to shut up and play hit a three get back. I just think he could bring a lot of intangibles at Paul Pierce. Brought that was successful for. Yeah. I think if you look at it this way, the case for the trade makes sense Uber and rivers aren't in their long term plans. So you trade guys who are on essentially last year for another guys will last year one who by the way had his best offensive season as an MBA Perot in Washington playing with the back court of wall and Beal, and if you can bring the chemistry issues there from Defcon one to a Defcon three stabilize it in the east. You're never more than a couple of good weeks away. Right. Must six. So. I mean, look if Puerto comeback healthy Bomba two or three I don't wanna face wall. Bill, Reza porter and whomever. I mean, that's why. Potentially. You look at me like that. As president you behave. Still the presidency. Look, I don't think it's the magic bullet. I think they're delusional. You think they're gonna be contenders? But I do think it stabilizes unstable situations. I keep saying about the timber wolves who have to Maxence players the wizards to Allstars they are luxury tax team again as you just mentioned they have good role players. This is a team that should not just be in the playoffs. It's not some big surprise rebound. If they make the playoffs. It's getting back to the mean if they make the playoffs the question is can they contend and in the east? We thought anybody would have the shot to contend those top five or six teams, and they kind of separated themselves down. But maybe maybe this'll be what works. He's been in most disappointing franchise an MBA probably last couple of years. Right. And I know aren't they close to your heart a little bit? I I grew up in DC, and you can't add the last couple of years as the end of that sense. You really just put the period earlier and that sentence, but Schork go ahead. But you know, kudos to a reason because he went and got Phoenix to give them some money. Then Trey got traded to. I mean, not a super team. But a team is pretty good. Hopefully be in the play..

"And in several years you've attach yourself to this albatross contract. You gotta make some moves in and hit the button. If I'm a wizards fan granted, they're not a lot of those out there. Either. If you're if you're wizards fin this should have happened years ago. I mean, this core was not enough. They had a couple of playoff runs where they were borderline. I could see why they all wore black and everybody got hype big deal. They're five and eleven. And not really improving. I mean, they've had some blips. The big challenge with what Tim, you know, what the challenges what trading? John wall. Yeah. I mean, look in my previous job, I paid a lot of tension to the wizards, obviously. And this is this is something people talked about for awhile now, I will push back on nickel little bit. I think John I think you can move John's contract. I think you can't trade him. I think the talk that he's untradable. I just don't really buy back to me. What are you gonna Bill? Here's well, this is what I was gonna say. I don't know if you're going to get a lot back for him. But I think the compare well for this is when Danny ferry took over the hawks back in twenty twelve what was the first thing. He did he went to the nets traded. Joe Johnson for essentially a pick swamp in a bag of balls. Right. As a bunch of expiring contracts, a first round pick anti picks up. Right, right. I don't even. I don't know if they got I think they got a swap. I don't remember if they got a I. But they they definitely got a bag of all's swamp. Because all the expiring guys were not good. And it was just a just a balance out the money. It was Kris Humphries, Sean. John wall is less tradeable than bleak Griffin. Was when he was with the clippers. Yeah. I mean, I don't know if he's less tradeable. But I mean, again, the thing on is you're talking about four years one hundred seventy million dollars after this. So let me give you the even bigger even bigger number than what than what Blake was on. This year's giants something money. That's a great point though, Andrew if you can I mean, first off the compare the comparison, Joe Johnson is good. Because Joe Johnson was in a contract that allowed people thought was going to be difficult to trade. And they basically traded it for. Cats are cap space. Yeah. And Blake was sort of kind of came out of nowhere. And I think actually looking like a pretty good trade. So here's what that trade was ready for this. So it was was Joe Joe was done the summer. So. And there was it's important to recognize. This was done the summer because you could make twenty it was about June twenty eighth because they needed to get. They wanted to have locked in for Darren Williams to convince during Williams to stay as part of the, but they didn't deal an ex, but they did the deal in July. Right. So, but the point the reason this is relevant is because in the summer you can have up to twenty guys on your roster. You don't have to you could do a five for one trade, and you can pull that off. So here was what Joe Johnson was sent for Jordan farm. Our Johan petro, Anthony, Morrow, Jordan Williams to Shawn. Stevenson. In a sign and trade. He got some free money shots. He was got some free money there. A future first round pick lottery protected and it picks up championship..

"Just a little while. But I just need to get this off my chest. 'cause I'm emotional about this you see, ladies and gentlemen, you might ask yourself. Why the hell is he mess mess mentioning the Washington Wizards you might ask yourself that question might do that. I don't blame you for asking. 'cause they're pretty damn relevant right now. And I get that. But you see, ladies and gentlemen, I like my schedule. And I never apologized for my schedule. I got people looking at me on national television right now. Listen to me on national radio right now. What the hell is he talking about? It's very very simple. My social life matters to me damn it. And I'm not apologizing for it. I happen to like the city of Washington DC. I happen to light Philadelphia, Pennsylvania my second home because I worked there for seventeen years as a reporter for the Philadelphia Kwara happen to love New York City, my home where I was born and raised born in the Bronx raised in Hollis, Queens, New York baby even like Boston because I think their fan base is phenomenal. Don't get much better than Boston. Celtics fans. I'm here to tell you that right now doesn't get much better. But having said all of that because of my work schedule when I'm out west, I'm in two places, I'm in LA on obviously in Oakland because damn it. That's where the worry is are. I just in a flying anywhere else. Anybody else? I wanna see out west. I'll see when they come to L A or Oakland. Those cities that I mentioned that you and eat I'm very very busy, man. I love Charlotte. Love Charlotte went to school with the sale of state, my alma mater, go Rams keep pride die. That's right. I'm not giving North Carolina anti and he loved then he enemy respect the hell out of yellow. But I'm in from Winston Salem state and our fifteen minutes away from Charlotte. I love being down in Charlotte. Just don't get an opportunity to do that much. Who the hell doesn't like the AT L? But we know how sorry that team has right now, they're rebuilding. Trae young is going to be he's going to be nice. And get me started. How I feel about Miami. We all know how much I miss out beach. I just gave LeBron James for leaving to go back to Lake Erie. Take me from south beach, sunshine Biscayne Bay, chilling in a Florida sun covering basketball and the next season the open other season, I'm in four degree weather off Lake Erie doing sports and outside. Why the hell do you think? I didn't like LeBron James, very simple. But that's what under the bridge because he's an LA now. And I love him for it. He's all right with me. But the east coast it's about Boston New York. Philly d c in anytime knows they live up to snuff, go off. Now, you might say well, Steven Huckabee you're going over both the Knicks. It's very very simple. The Knicks perpetually stink. So many times you expect me to say it. I like this Steve mills and Scott Perry and David facility because they're moving in a different direction. I'm going to give them a mulligan. This year next year. I'll be all up in them. If they stink up the joint then and they don't get a marquee free agent free agency. But until then they get past because when you perpetually stink. And you finally changed courts in terms of culture, you need a little time. To Washington Wizards do not have that excuse, ladies and gentlemen. You see when you look at the Washington Wizards and how awful they have been to in eight second worst record in the Eastern Conference. Let's be very very clear about what I'm trying to say the Washington Wizards right now stink. They smell like skunk soup pass gas. Somebody's gotta say it. So I'm saying it they're horrible right now. The reason I'm going off about them is because they're not a horrible team. They're just being horrible because they're not acting like a team. John walls four year. Max extension of one sixty nine point three million dollars hasn't even kicked in yet. It doesn't kick into next season. How do you come into this looking out of shape? You never had a great jump shot. Your game is.

"So there there wouldn't you say one and five it's weird down on him with the sons when you look at the standings. It's just weird that they're right down. There. Wizards are one and six though. And you're right. I think like it's like even if the wizards, quote, unquote, turn this around what does that even mean for them? I mean, let's just be the same old. Like eventually, I think so. After those. They had a couple of those rough losses. Right. They lost to the kings. Then select by the clippers and you had after those games yet wall and Beal calling out unnamed teammates for you know, for complaining about touches and their personal agendas and stuff like that. And Austin rivers calling out the guy saying their defenses horrendous people are laughing at us like it was a lot of talk and going on with this team. I what do they do? I know we keep talking about this. Is there any play to make them better? Is it and is it that mean, Trey John walls that mean trade auto porter does that even do anything. I mean trade Bradley Bill just who switch things up. What do you do wall is the one thing? But not sure how they make that try. We've we've sort of. Go over it again. And again, but I think we should do though. I think so. Yeah, I think we've mentioned that he seems to be the consistent problem as far as you know, he's one calling it his teammates. He's been injured member last year when he was down and they went on that winning streak and even Beal was saying, oh, great till you win everyone. I mean, so handy that's for sure. They will deny. There was a shuttle wall. Fuck Fuck you. you mean, he's out you'll winning. And you thought these cryptic tweets. It's Christ and Todd set in the positive years and years ago. It's like these guys that we gotta we gotta get on the same page. So but wall. Yeah, I mean, we don't want to go over the whole thing yet. But. Who'd want wall right now with that contact with that potential for those crazy things he's not even on the. Oh, yes, you're. Yeah. That's that'd be the Gilbert arenas when they saw on him one hundred eleven million and he never played contract with wall. Because there have been times in the last couple of years where we've talked about him as a top point guards in the league. Right. I mean, maybe not the taught, but no he he should I don't know where in ten twenty points tennis says be good on defense. He's never really committed to being good. And I think if he were to put that effort, and that would be huge for the for the wizards because right now, it's like if you get past one guy you make one pass or one juke move. You gotta lay up or a kick to the three because nobody's helping out because nobody cares about each other. They don't love each other. The whites going to bring back that fun. Bring back those farts. Yeah. Farts and fun tomato. And he did put up sixteen and twelve last year is forgotten the Hornets. Yeah, they can sit around and be a playoff team undoubtedly. But it's be highly highly odd surprising to see them like fifty wins between forty and forty five..

So we will see good point about the kings for sure another what you got here. Bigger mess. A little more difficult bigger mess. Wizards iraq. It's. Czar arts. Gets the rockets are at their one in five no doubt. But I think the fact that they're pretty thin combined with an injury to James harden suspension to Chris Paul injury to James Ennis. You're playing guys who shouldn't be virtually in the league, and Michael Carter Williams and Carmelo Anthony who's starting and when you're planning switching defensing, you're hoping Carmelo Anthony he's got to quicks to help you. Yes, they need their all their guys to be on the same page to start the year. So I think you give them a little bit of rope here, especially because and they they've only had hardened Paul together for two games. I know it's an excuse. They shouldn't be losing by twenty or thirty. Yeah. Thank you get out of it, though. I think the rockets I think once I get back and they get into the sea though, because it's been since game one that they've looked at all on especially defensively, but even offense they just don't really have the same zip to look like they are coasting until the playoffs that make a championship run. What you? Yeah. Agree. AB shouldn't do if you haven't ever wanna championship though. I think like if you compare them to the wizards, I don't see how the wizards really get out of this mess. They've created themselves. I think you just going to coming coming back. That'd be that'd be the savior comeback tonight. Yet reportedly. Which is great. Look, he can certainly he shoot improve them rebounding and defense, but I just. Well, let's say. At the bottom almost. So that's the thing. I think like give them a little bit of a surge. But I think eventually this sort of chaos is going to return to Washington because we've seen it before it's played the last couple of years where it's Houston. I just think it's a matter of maybe a bit of hangover from Las season of how how well they went. How close they got that. I just haven't caught sort of got this spot going it. Whereas the wizards they should be much better. They should be competing to finish in the top four in the east but nowhere near that. They'll be lucky to even make the playoffs right now. Raucous have a lot of pressure on their top guys because you know, I mentioned a bunch of their guys that are playing shouldn't really be playing than Brandon. Knight is hurt Marcus Chris's sort of on the periphery of the rotation. Never really been able to even stick in a rotation in Phoenix. So you're relying on James says, well, I mean, there's not a lot of bodies there. Will make a move this man, not stand, Pat. He's got two and Chris Ball was part of it that he signed for forty million dollars. And then you know, you can't signed by Moore and. Reza go. Yeah. He was gonna go get paid somewhere. But yeah, they're thin ice the right trading that they haven't looked motivated. That's weird. It is weird. I wonder if like some of these trade talks are having any effect on a guy like Eric, Gordon. Who's name was in the mix early in the season trading for possible Jimmy Butler. It was what Gordon Tucker being thrown around a good point. No, if it is, but he has been horrible. I brought it up in a crossfire segment this week. He was my ghost player because he he just has looked brutal. You can't shot, and that's what air Gordon does bad right now. So they good point because you know, when he was traded once upon a time from LA to New Orleans and then New Orleans to Houston. That's that's how it worked. Oh, no. He just as New Orleans now he was traded. It was trading crisp paltry, then they matched on them. Right. That's right. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Right. Right. Right. And New Orleans, then he was signed as a free agent bought the rockets yet we throw in Addison, right? That sounds right. I think the point is when he was involved in trade deals. He didn't really like it. I think he he wants to be wanted. Yeah. Some possibility it's a little bit..

"Sure, I had to take them to these college fine. Make hit take it to the playoffs. You already greatest boy of Alta. What if you go to this team Davis nonstop team in team? Not mobile Davis. That's make that team. 'cause then you only with them and you'll be like really Kate deal with the anti David through knee. He always got to play with them buddy was breath through Steph. I wanna see Kaby when hearts back of the fans, and that you can do by going to team that ain't want alone too. I don't have a legitimate MVP or any all star gap, wink, wink, New York, LA clips. Can I talk about the wizards? Yes, you always three when they any. No, it's once we, but I just re tweet over and don't because. Any other thing? We don't know we never will. He gave us up. The he says he's still going to different back specialist. First of all, but wizards fans have become an after before that once we did I keep between. See like, yo you can't get your opinion on them right now. We don't even have the way how we're which you say is valid argument because he is their starting center. But I promise you, I promise you, do I is not solving those locker room problems y'all may have not heard of this because I didn't even get the notification of it Bradley, Bradley Beal already taking shots at each other. We are six games into the season. He not nothing that he did this before they guess things like five the fifth game. He said they got players at a worry about the stats. So. John wall people with people with saying they don't know if they was indirectly talking about each other or somebody on the team that's complaining about shots. Maybe our reporter saying I need some shots or something his team, bro. I had of as the number three point guard in the league for a long time. He's falling. He's fallen I'm. So he's he's slowly falling down. They had one of the most embarrassing losses ever to the clippers the other night. And I was watching that game for fantasy reasons because I wanted to. For me. But for my girlfriend she was in a close game Mesa. See you need to Kelly Oubre to score two more points in the fourth quarter. You know, they played. He definitely was doing his thing. But it was it was so embarrassing that they not that they lost the clippers clippers have been competitive all year, but they were down thirty five to the clippers. That is that is terrible. The White House. It's not fixing that he's gonna get you, more rebounds. For sure you're getting out rebounded by the White House is gonna fix that. But all the other stuff, do I fix. It is time. We've we've said here on the show that man, maybe it's time for Portland and blow it up. It is time for the wizard sue blow it up a year. I'm looking I'm looking John wall numbers right now. And it's only seven games, but I'm not a fan of his not what I want to see this. I don't want to overreact to this early in the season. But they're they're signed. Overreact to because this is the same thing SPG's. There's no jail. They if they came out and won eleven in a row. I eat my words, but I don't mind overreacting to that. Because it's not really overreaction. They literally have the same theme you throw in Austin rivers and the white that record their schedule of the next couple games is relatively easy. So if they end up like winning out and become like five hundred eighteen they need to they go against the grizzlies who have an expert, Sal this year, they go it gets. Okay. C which is gonna be a dogfight which I'm looking forward to the Knicks. The magic the magic they got some games coming up. So have you come with that? Tippy toe attitude, we will still your lunch. We win the list natural. List? I had to be more like this to happen before evidence, twenty points, three rebounds, and seven assists. He averages nine this for his career. What does he shoot it from the field? You got us percents of I don't think John Wallace for having a bad year, but scarves, being the leader. Do you want percent, which is not bad?.

"Yeah i have no trash talk to offer you kidding me that embarrassing for wizards fans like an honestly the worst part about it was that it was all super predictable in the second the celtics twitter tweeted out their starters at about like five thirty in the afternoon yesterday the celtics were starting terry rosier aaron baynes tatum and like three d or two d leaguers like it was just it was really bad and and the second i saw that i was like okay great so this is one of those games where brad stevens is going to coach them up the wizards were on a back to back they had just blown game of the timber wolves the night before and i was positive that it was going to end badly i actually texted some friends i'm gonna lose my mind when the when the wizards lose this game night and sure enough the wizards were down twenty like halfway through the firsthalf and from there you know a lot of hijinks ensued and i was almost positive that jason tatum was gonna break my heart and to be fair i absolutely deserve jason tatum beating my favorite team after all the shit we've talked over the last year and he's been great but but thankfully jodie meeks mike guy sadder and ski auto porter bradley beal had like twenty five points the second half the wizard salvage a little bit of dignity last night still not a great sign that they had to go to double overtime to beat the celtics jv team but you know i'll take the victories wherever i can get there were no great sides that gabe a couple of thoughts are what you said first of all i was waiting for the boston media to leak out that jerry colangelo had texted jason tatum after the game to let them know that don't worry just because he brick that game winning free throw and just because he missed the three at the end of overtime doesn't affect his hall fame eligibility he still able to be in shine in spring kind of ease his nerves and and show the respect to twelve time we we didn't get that report for some reason second of all your point about like the celtics.

"On the wizards are better without john wall bandwagon john wall is a dynamic elite talent and a roster like washington's just won't get anywhere in the postseason without a dynamic elite talent period the end but certainly was i opening when the wizard sped through february on ten and three streak without wall the team led the league in assists during that stretch bradley beal shown set ranchi was cutting more than a steak knife allowing the rest of the group to be more creative all over the floor evidently the magic carpet ride only lasted so long comes back to the meeting people and remember the wizards are not better without john wall the team has now lost five of its last eight games and honestly that number should really be six of its last date we should have lost last night in boston because they fell behind by twenty points to a celtics roster that was so banged up i mean pratt stevens nearly had to suit up and play for this game he looks good there right there's this neck you don't need to play basketball jackie watching tune would've lost this game frankly if not marcus morris making an absolutely bizarre mistake for veteran seriously i want you to put yourself back in the situation the celtics were up three with five seconds to go and regulation what you want to do as a defender there is not one of the great mysteries of our time you lock down the three point line that's it and yet morris for some reason charged auto border leaving jodie meeks wide open for an easy shots now i do want to say otherwise morris was extremely sharp last night he really was but nonetheless his blunder let the wizards back in the game and eventually let washington take the win doubleovertime afterward the wizard celebrated as deserved but certainly didn't seem that anyone left the floor last night with more clear sense of identity when asked about the team's future brad said that first off john needs to hurry up and get back and then he added quote we gotta trust each other and get back to playing our style of basketball of course he didn't say with that was going to be.
