"Google is fantastic with such but when it comes to actual develop such isn't actually as good as you would hope, it could be an We imagine this world while I'm in the tunnel and hey, why can I just type in fig? It pops up this the browse of develop a search for terminal specific processes and I search. How to short speed up a video in ffm-peg and someone in the world has faced that problem before has built a little run book or APP for it at end just pops up on the side of your screen. You do that exact process and then you're done and in the same UNIX, you can chain commands together. Well, why can't you do that with fake? Why can't you speed up video and then you reduce the file size and then something else we imagine this world of these tiny little. APPS essentially the end components that hyper focused on one specific task, and it's all you never have to leave Eurotunnel. The gooey itself for FIG hooks onto the terminal. How is that actually built? Like I mentioned earlier that built using the accessibility. API ON MAC. Is that kind of a hack. Because again, going back to something we said earlier, it's like it's very hard to build a terminal scratch it. There is a lot of moving parts. There's old protocols and everybody uses the terminal in kind of their own way, and so we realize Kinda. We're getting started that if we wanted to validate this idea quickly, it would take way too long for us to build a terminal from scratch and then. Also, we had no guarantees that people would switch over in use it. So we wanted to to make something that was useful that allowed developers to keep using the tools. They were already comfortable with and get a chance to try out fig without kind of replacing everything they already are doing but but going forward, and at some point, we would love to reimagined what a modern terminal looks like and sort of. Basically, take the hacking and turn it into a fully-fledged terminal of its own. We just went through Wisey NYC's big thing is move quickly moved off, break things all of that and. They want the reason why we built it like this but we had of ten weeks sprint and we really wanted to prove was that terminal augmentation is something that people actually want like it really hasn't changed since nineteen seventy then they must be something else that must be more productive ways to do certain things answer rather than spending literal years building the perfect time. It'll at spending time making sure the the basics actually work. What we did was exactly as Matt said. Sort of attach on an ad this extra layer. Yes it is a hack but if people using this, then we have a very clear signal that a terminal is something people want. Now let's go back and build the best terminal having spent all of this time looking out one of the core things that people really really need a until just one way of US helping US quickly.

"And how many people are the opposite side of that where they think it's destructive in destroying. MILLIONS RIGHT SAME SCENARIO DIFFERENT PERCEPTIONS So you get to choose you know when bad things happen to you when when circumstances happened that are beyond your control and you don't like how they're turning out or the way they're going you can choose. Is this happening to me? Against me or is it happening for me? And so when I see my son Too. Crazy and wild things at four years old. I'm like that's awesome because that's how I want to interpret it now there's Let me help you hone that attitude into something. That's GONNA serve you not hinder you right but it's just a perception. Solid. Is and that might just come with some level of maturity on my end. You know after having at this point, four children and. Leading this organization this movement and just doing reflecting on myself that? I look at it. I'm like man your way cooler way stronger way way more resolve than I ever had I can't wait to see what you're capable of if I help you hone it in the right way. There's these things that you that I've gotten just two things by the way no more no more than two that I've learned from you over the years. Don't don't a big head. There's only two things. But but I loved I loved the analogy of like you look at those traits of auto and you say How does how is that going to serve him as an adult? He's a growing. person that's going to be an adult and some of the traits that we conflict with as parents are good traits as an adult. We just don't like it as a kid that we're trying to control. Right? So I think remembering that is important and then I think the other aspect of this is like. How do you? How do you harness and make yourself obsolete? Right an Ryan a phrase that I've read the other day like don't don't prepare the road for the kid prepared for the road on that analogy autos going to be fine on whatever road shows up. Right. Right and so look look look at what he needs to do to prepare as an adult and so It's funny. I have a quick share because at superfund since we're talking about kids and perception. So my daughter I come home the other day in. Last week totally pissed off as angry work wasn't going well as tired. You know what I mean. We just one of those. Unfortunate scenarios where a regret the way I showed up when I came home. And my a my seven year old. She says, she was talking to my nine year old and they're like ads really upset and and my my wife goes why do you think that's upset because they're like, Hey, maybe we should clean our renovate dad happy because that's usually the thing that pisses me off with your. House is a mess. So they're like. Maybe we should clean up the house, they'll make happy and my seven year old goes. No, that's not wise mad and my wife's type Wisey match she's like because he chooses to be. Undermined Love that. And what was was great about it, and this is very, this is the insightful aspect of it. I made a post of this online and I had people replied back of Ood Unites She's feisty like like her comment was bad. And I'm like comments you'd. That You Misunderstand, my child just made the relationship on her own of emotion in ownership right? If half half our country did that right now. You kidding we'd be. We'd live in a different world, right? Like I was so happy it was like the proud his dad moment on earth as like Osh. Perfect yeah. That's the perception I could see as her talking about commute vice you no actually speaking truth. Yeah for sure. That's awesome. That's a great story. The other thing I'd say is to answer this question is just a level of awareness. You know like you can even use situational awareness like think about that term situation awareness you know you're out at a restaurant you're looking around you're scanning the environment, your backs to the wall you're looking for people who are behaving out of the ordinary for whatever the event is. You're just looking for things. That might signify a red flag something's wrong. It's situational awareness and you're doing it at all times you're scanning you're looking around when you're driving, you're doing it. You don't even know you're doing it. You're checking your mirror you're checking your side meters. You're you're seeing how far people are in front of you and your breaking or speeding up based on that right so we have these ideas of situational awareness. Well, it's the same thing with with your children. You need to be aware of what's going on what's happening in their little minds in their little bodies and your mind as well like what's the context and everything else right right. So the other day my son I was working on some emails and doing some work and he came in and he was just kind of lingering this my oldest son he's lingering like standing over my shoulder lingering and I'm like dude I'm trying to work like I can't have you doing this right now like please go find something to do. And he left and he kind of like slouch down into laughed I'm like wait a second hold up. Like, why was he lingering in here? And I'm like Oh, he just actually wanted to be part of what I was doing. He wanted to be around eighty wanted to be part of what I was doing. That's it. That's the only reason. So I got up frustrated because like now I gotta go fix the problem that I created. And I go down I'm like, Hey, bud look I shouldn't have stopped I apologize for snapping at you. You were hanging out. Why were you hanging? He's like I just wanted to see what you're doing like in like see what was going on and I'm like. Come on. And so he came upstairs I went through some emails with him I showed him a Mike. I respond this way to this and here's how I do my emails I recorded a video might wanna watch me recorded videos like yeah I'm like okay. So I recorded a video and he sat there and watched how did it And, it was very productive. But it was it was because I was not situationally aware that I snapped like that and granted there might be times where I might need to say, Hey, but..

"If you're into them. You're being a social creature and you're getting your vibes going. You're getting your momentum going. You don't have to be picky and the guys don't do this as much anymore. Because i specifically frame this before i take students style but there were times back in the day where students have on that interim not in tour and then a girl who was very attractive with their into it walk by and they would just get quiet on like. Did you like her is like yeah like why don't you approach <hes> shipment. I was in my head and it's like dude. You can't sit around and wait. You have to get the social momentum going you have to talk to everybody and get things going and then eventually can kind of go for you want the nights where i go out and sam the only going to cherry pick and i'm only gonna talk to the girls that i find really really attractive. I maybe i could do that because i've been doing this for so long but look i advise i do better and all you guys are going to do better to just going out and being social and talking to people around you and not being not in a weird or creepy way just being social like you could literally use that as an approach. I shared this with. Mike and mike was using this as an approaching. Hey guys. I'm being social tonight. That's it. I like just being social and creating that momentum will start to open the doors for you can use this at a meet up at a marketing event at a bar at a happy. It allows you to festival anywhere man just being social and you wind up. If you keep doing that and keep talking to new people you wind up in an interaction interaction where things are going to go. Well and you know just building that up man like you like you said before you create the environment for women to want to come up to you when you guys are having foam and when you're having fun you start talking other people around you. They're having fun all of a sudden. You're the coolest guys in the fucking place and women one of get to know who these guys are they want. There's a mystery there to figuring out like why's everyone flocked to this guy. Why are you making a real laugh. Wisey evans such a great time. I wanna have all those. I think too they make their way over to you and it just fucking ten times easier when that's happening. I mean it. It really is probably the best way to do this kind of stuff joe when it doesn't go oh you're way though when say you're talking to a hot woman or you know you approach a hawk girl. She's next to you think you know she was giving you the eye but she really wasn't utah fucking fucking backfires. How do you handle rejection in those times of rejection when do when it does happen. It happens all the time. I'm address that it wants segue real first real quick. I want to say well. We just made that last point like like me and you haven't been out together but like if me and you went out just to say we went out this weekend or something that we either where you live or like don't you can just feel it. Don't you know what that strategy like me and you would just have a blast like. I know i know tomorrow. I want to do it. He ah i get all excited. Just talking about it dude. We would just like that strategy meeting you chill and have a good conversation just talk. If you like. You just like yeah like that makes sense you know 'cause. I know you're cool. Do your positive and that's in line with you right in the which all you guys should now back to the rejection part. So if i'm i'm hanging out with you. We're we're chilling and i said lugo. Hey what's up. I'm joe and then they're just like oh. <hes> what would they say like <hes>. We're having a conversation right. I get that very rarely but i still get that sometimes or they're just not into it and they went turning..

"Everyone's going to be scared to death in any event. This isn't exactly a done deal. How will this case likely proceed, well, this case is very complicated, and it's going to go on for a long period of time. Let's start we were with Assange, where is he now? He's in jail Wisey in jail because he jumped bail because the Swedes warrant to prosecute them for sex offenses. So I he's gotta get out of jail. Secondly, he's not here. He's there. That is a he's in the UK. So he has to be extradited. There has to be an extradition hearing. There will be an appeal of the extradition hearing, not only to the UK Gorz, but perhaps, international courts, that's all going to take a long period of time. And guess what the Swedes now want them to so the Swedes the Americans of fight over his body, and that's going to take time. So I don't know if in my lifetime, we'll ever see the end of this. I think we've established that you saw coming things that I didn't necessarily. See coming or the questions that I should've asked you now that I neglected to pose. No, I think that the big missing link. So to speak with respect to coverage of this was that a lot of people didn't see the first amendment issue, that's raised by the criminal prosecution of a leaky or the fact that what the United States is trying to do is create an official secrets act through judicial Fiat. So everyone, I think everyone sort of missed that. But it seems to me you have focused on that in this program. So I think you're doing fine. Well you haven't seen her Twitter feed. It's been a rough day for me. Has it all I can I was pretty nice? I. You were. I mean, I heard some whispers that you were annoyed but it's been a full frontal assault on Twitter. I calmed down. I only got angry as I drove down on the cab because I've been telling every journalist, I've seen over the last six years that this was going to happen. So I was frustrated I could persuade any, my turn A-List friends that this was a problem and most of them were screaming and yelling EMMY for being a jerk, so, you know. Jim, thank you. "Wherever saw the city's first injunction Bank in two thousand six eventually targeting seven gangs for a deeper dive into the issue KCBS petty rising. Jeff bell spoke with KCBS and chronic linnstaedter. Phil matere Phil Wisey ending at. Well. It's basically a tonic sort of a tool whose time has passed. These were basically stay away orders leveled against gang members. Not just in San Francisco, Oakland, tried it. We had a big in Los Angeles. San Diego and other cities back in two thousand seven when we had a pretty big crime problems sweeping the area, and this was areas targeted for near is like the mission district in San Francisco. The western addition visitation valley baby hunters point areas right now that would also be a list of areas that have been gentrified so between the gentrification of these neighborhoods, and the fact that the people that were targeted back in two thousand seven have either aged out or wound up in jail and prison. There's just not that much of a needed board. And so there's just sort of pulling them out as a matter of fact, he removed eighty six last year and more to come fill technically these injunctions. Prohibited members from engaging in quote, unquote, gang related activity. What does that mean? What would it meant was? It was a tool for the police. Now, this wasn't something that was going to be put somebody in jail. But the idea was that it Jeff got picked up and he had a string of arrests or suspects about gang activity. It was one more tool that just said you had to stay away from the rest of your members. Let's say you were in the knockout posse, and they hung in the baby. Well, you know, if you were in the baby they would say, look, you can't be around these people. You can't be around that. So it was pitched as not only sort of a tool for cops. But also as a deterrent for people repeat offending, I'm not sure how effective they were. They raised a lot of questions, but they were a big publicity thing that said that people were taking action challenged by the ACLU in public defender's office is up and down the state and became a recall, you know, quite a bit of controversy about that as we have sort of ongoing controversies between what people consider civil rights and the public's sort of right to the have a trouble free community. So sort of pitched, you know, the idea of a safe community versus individual rights argument is we're still having eleven years later matere insider here KCBS's back tomorrow at seven. "I'm Steve Inskeep. And I'm Rachel Martin. Good morning. Michael Cohen has been sentenced to prison for among other crimes lying to congress that hasn't stopped congress from bringing him back to testify again today. We'll be the second of three days that call and we'll take questions from lawmakers on Capitol Hill. And today's the only one when the cameras will be rolling, according to prepare testimony obtained by NPR Michael Cohen will tell the house oversight committee that the president of the United States is a quote racist, a con man and a cheat this morning, President Trump said on Twitter that Cohen is lying to reduce his prison time, California, Democrat Jackie speier gets a chance to question. Cohen later this morning congresswoman, thanks so much for being with us. Great to be with you. Rachel Michael Cohen has admitted to lying to congress before. As I noted Wisey worth bringing back because he is a font of knowledge, I think for all of us who have been looking into this issue for years. Now, I he was the president fixer. And remember he lied to congress on behalf of the president of the United States. And he lied about the fact that they continue to work on Trump Tower Moscow into the twenty sixteen election went Donald Trump was saying that he had no dealings with Russia. And yet he had a letter of intent with persons in Russia to build the Trump Tower. Russia, so you believe that Cohen is now trustworthy. I think if he has information that could be corroborated by documents that everything he says is going to be very compelling. What's your first question to? Well. I went to bed with the idea of asking him once at a question and I woke up this morning with. Release the information about the the. That that was case. So I'm gonna ask him about the tapes. She has Donald Trump. I'm going to ask him about tax evasion. I'm going to ask him about the real estate holdings that Donald Trump had in which he was engaged in which appear to have laundered money associated with them. Those with the lines of question, I was going to ask last night. But now that we know about WikiLeaks. We now know about the Trump Tower meeting, I think there'll be other questions as well. We should drill down a bit on on the WikiLeaks revelations. So in this prepared testimony, Michael Cohen will say that President Trump then candidate Trump knew about Julian Assange and WikiLeaks plans to release DNC emails that he was aware of the conversations that Roger stone's allegedly having with WikiLeaks. What more information do you want about that? I want to know to what extent that relationship extended beyond just sharing of that the dumps that were being done. And I think that what we're gonna find out is that the president was very involved in the meeting Trump Tower because right bef- right after that he suggested he was going to have a major revelation that he was going to make a subsequent to the New Jersey primary, and of course, after the meeting it appeared that there wasn't nearly as much at UC evidence against Hillary Clinton. So he never gave the speech he has been involved in this from day what he is a hands on individual who ran his Trump organization. Mike, he ran his campaign like he is running the United States where he thinks everyone is working for him. And they will do whatever he tells them to do whether it's legal or not let me ask you though. These are all issues that special counsel, Robert Muller and his team are investigating have been for years. Now, do you? Trust the data's dot dot dot is sufficient actually, some of these issues. I don't think the special counsel is handling 'cause there was one of the southern district in New York. So we still have property issues. Where did he get the money for the golf course in Scotland where he came up with cash, she was never a cash, man. So who are the investors that he has held in silence. That may or may not be individuals that we would be concerned that he's doing business with what do you believe could be the consequences of Cohen's testimony today, if it is as explosive as it appears to be I think that it is the beginning of an impeachment process, California, Democrat, Jackie speier, she's on the house government oversight committee. She'll be questioning Michael Cohen later this morning. We appreciate your time. This morning congresswoman, thank you. Rachel Texas officials recently claimed the tens of thousands of non-citizens appeared to have illegally registered to vote. Those numbers of. Since been found to be seriously flawed, but not before President Trump's spread the false story on Twitter past claims that large numbers of non citizens are voting have also been disproven. So is there any truth at all behind this widespread political myth? Well, there are a few cases when non-citizens ended up on the voter rolls NPR's pan festival reports on how it happens the calls to immigration attorneys in Pennsylvania began a few years ago clients reported going to the department of motor vehicles for a driver's license. But then for six weeks later, they would get a voter registration card in the mail, which sun drop Carter the head of the Pennsylvania, immigration and citizenship. Coalition says raised some disturbing questions especially for people trying to become US citizens. I receive in the mail. I don't know why I didn't think I was in, you know, eligible to register to vote, and my actually, you know, should I go vote. The answer was definitely no. But clearly there was a problem federal law. Requires DMV's offer customers a chance to register. To vote, but it turns out that Pennsylvania. Like, some other states was asking everyone even those who were there to get a non citizens, driver's license. Immigrants were confused like a sif who was in Pennsylvania on a student visa when I came here. I have no English language at all.

"But this was what the spectacle was eight o'clock this morning, and I don't know I think like several years ago. I would have just. I wouldn't know what to think about. I just would have observed. Maybe I would have felt a little uncomfortable with this this this dispute this back and forth in loud voices going on like right next to me. Right. It would have been a little bit triggering to me. And or maybe I would have been judging. You know, I would have been like who knows how I would've judge. I would have judged like boy that lady's a big mouth and she's obnoxious, and she should just shut up. I don't know probably wouldn't have quite thought that, but I could have and maybe it would have been judgmental of the police officer and been like Wisey after be so mean and yell and they should we pay their taxes. I don't know would have been judgmental. But since getting into the big five personality stuff, I literally see the world really people I should say in the world differently. So what the dialogue in my mind is. I'm seeing this go down is one of the big five. Super traits is agreeable nece. So. If your high in agreeable nece, which I am you you value like keeping the peace keeping everybody happy, you want everything. Calm everyone. Happy happy. So you you don't really challenge and it, and when you're really high like, I am it makes it hard to give people like on your team feedback because you don't wanna I don't wanna bum them out. I don't wanna start a fight. I want them to like me. You know, that's the downside of being really griebel. The upside is you've got a lot of friends people like having on the team you're going to get promotions. Because people think your team player get along with everybody. That's all the good side. Now, the opposite, though, low agreeable nece means you've value like your opinion over relationships, you value being right over how other people feel you value, your ideas, and winning over other people's ideas and consensus building so knowing this as hall this conflicts going on. Next to me. I'm just totally like passive and looking saying, oh, she's a low in agreeable nece. You know, she she is pushing forth what she thinks is, you know, a wrong, and she wants it to be noted and she wants to be right and she wants to win and she cares about her own position. She does not value the emotions of the other person or keeping the peace on the team around her. So I just think. Oh, wow. So, you know, I'm I'm high in agree on this. I would never do what she did. But rather than me thinking, she's wrong or bad person? I just she's low and agreeable nece. That's that's what I know about her. And then there were literally three police officers at the front and remember what I said about how they reacted. So like one guy in reaction to her loud challenge. Her up now challenge saying you guys need to get some stress management around here. He said, thank you. I hope you have a nice day. So he's high agreeable miss. He his reaction to that. It was like let me just keep the peace. Let me just like it's not about winning or putting her in her place. Let's just try to keep everything. Calm. The guy. Who said nothing, I'm guessing was middle agreeable nece. Right. He didn't he didn't try to defuse it and he didn't get in her face again. He just said nothing. So it was neutral. And then of course, the third guy was the one that went back at her. You know, so he's also like her lo- in agreement. So when you have two people who are low and agreeable nece, that's when the conflict goes. So he's telling her, you know. You just sit down you tell you do what we tell. We don't have to tell you why we are chill, and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. So all of this like would have I would have looked at it differently or would have been triggering to me as someone who's high agreeable. And it's like, oh, there's conflict going on. I hope they stop. I hope they don't get me involved..

Here knows knows where he's coming from those knows who he is. But the rest of the state I mean, he's he's running around over in Tampa and Jacksonville has coal central Florida and south Florida. And I think he's kept handing over there. Because they don't know who he is. You know, local matters. I mean, there's FBI investigation all about him. In Tallahassee with campaign funds as well as corruption. I mean, the guy took tickets for for a Broadway show from FBI format and gave money to him thinking. He was a developer. NFL which is a higher end restaurant here in Tallahassee not far from the downtown capitol complex. But I will say this though gifts to, cultivate, a friendship or not bribes. Gift to, cultivate, a friendship. That's all. It is your honor. That's there. You're on around here. They're pushing the he'll be the first black governor if he's elected, and that guess what you're saying about, you know, it's the Barack Obama approaches if I vote for him than that, clearly I am part of history. "I'm talking about it. I think there's a sweet spot for a lot of people. Yeah. This guy. I've just like it's I don't even know why you're considering kids with him. Anyway. Because he he doesn't even know how he feels about you. So. Ten months is a long time. You know, if you're in love with maybe he's still wanted from his previous relationship. I mean. Yeah. And why is he in this way? He says he's crazy with about her. Maybe he's not I'm not as concerned about the l word as I am about the fundamental difference here in in your goals to have a family and his goals. Maybe not to one before you get the other though. But if he doesn't want kids at all what does it matter doesn't matter? And if he doesn't love her it doesn't matter either. So, but I think he could grow to love her. But he may never grow to one kids again because he already has three. What are you more concerned about the kids the potential of being married to him and having a family or the fact that he may grow to love you or not? But I mean, I feel like the kind of hand in hand, aren't they? I don't think so he could grow to love you and decide that he doesn't wanna fourth or fifth or sixth kid after ten months. It just they've been dating for ten months and she's in love with him. And he's like, I don't know it just feels it seems weird to me. I would move on. If I were you because it doesn't seem like there's any sort of certainty in this relationship. Ten months, though, is it unreasonable for him to not yet know if he's in wants to be married and have kids after ten months of other things, I'm saying the love part, it's it's reasonable that. He should know how he feels by ten months. He says he's crazy about her. And he's not in love with our Wisey. So with her. I don't know some people just move slow. That's what I'm saying. Now my grandma did not do it for my dad, right? She was an old eastern European woman and she did it different. I'm gonna give you an extremely extremely. This is why I'm so glad that I let a little more questions go because you just asked to real important question something really hope people can understand. It's gonna be really real pleased. Pay attention to this one thing. The only way I've seen now that I'm older that you can build confidence is if you surround yourself with people that are optimistic. It's just super real. It's super hard. What about to say to you? Everybody in this room needs to cut out as much of the noise and time with people that are negative and spend as much time with people that are positive. And I'm not talking about positive as like there's people in the toughest situations that are optimistic and positive, and there's the people that have the most in the world that are pessimistic and negative. This is where you're at and what you got this is are the people that you're sitting with at school on the bus, the shelter here right now, are they saying how shitty everything is or they talk about how to get the fuck out. Get rid of everybody who says it's shitty, including family members. I'm not kidding. Doesn't mean run away from home, you know, but kinda. There's only one way to build confidence my guy, it's having people that are reinforcing good things to you. It's brainwashing shit for real. And so how are you. What's your name? At least you.
