Today we are tackling a very serious topic and that is the issue of season passes them so excited to talk about this. I would just tell you. When i think about season passes the first thing that pops in my head i think of aaron and brennan frazier and i think i don't like it. It doesn't make sense. But it is. And i think that's that's the that's why we're talking about this. Today's to make some sense of some of these Un sensible things. Break is brennan frazier. How long have you loved him. Erin ever since. I saw him in mrs a winter born the bottom cinema movie. That houses stars ricky lake. See the look that movie which delicious deal with it. We're destined to have to do this in your errands. Birthday matt hundred our son well and the funny thing about it is. It's not like the mummy or any other like juggernaut in his demography is mrs winterbourne. Which by the way is a fantastic film. It is and you're gonna love you're gonna love it. Look and i think a testament to that season passiveness of errands is the fact that you know there was when he when we're talking about and seaman dr about the mummy. That's brennan frazier prime time. That's steak days right now. We're in the salad. Days is not so bueno right. He looks like he's just someone's experimented on him scientifically and he's just walked out of the lab. He's like whoa. That was crazy. It's not enough time referenced. The g. q. Article that he was in but he's on the up and up. He's right on the ascendant. And we'll see what i think when there was only one person and it was errands passion for him carrying. Always have you man of always. Got a su- okay. So what is the season pass. So i the way i phrase it is. It's an investment. you're you've personally made. In a celebrity built on the faith that everything they create our market or products of of that. You're going to drink from that creative fountain right so different from a hall pass. Yes a whole past is between you and your romantic partner and the famous person you want to show up. You know what. I mean an although i do think at times both season passes and hall passes can both feel very illogical. The season pass is a pure and more vulnerable form of affection and hall. Pass is just about front bottoms. Yes yes and i think the the other Fine norman of the hall pass is that like you could Have a romantic entanglement with angelina jolie. If you saw her at a denny's or you buy when there's just chewed have to agree with that. And that's just not gonna happen. This is more this is more elemental as more pure. I think it comes from plays in. Because it doesn't like you alluded to it. It comes that place of when you pay for season tickets for sports. Seem you pay in advance and you go to you. You're investing in every single game. Not knowing that they're going to be good or not and that's what we're talking about when we talk about these. Uh these bassett's that's right my in by the way michael jordan. He is a season pass of mine. but adam levine is a weird hall pass of mine a while. I wanted to one another day. That's another episode Okay let's talk. Well speaking of michael jordan. I would say probably michael jordan he He might be a season pass you. I think he's graduated. He is like emeritus season pass because he's a big deal now. He's a startling. I love harbor lights michael jordan. Dan bright said. That's the that's the difference. I will talk about here in a second. But like just so the The listeners understanding do you want to toss out. Maybe some personal examples of season passes for yourself. Then it's for sure for for my whole life. It's been at drew. Barrymore at follow her own mini flower beauty products. Holy grails include the concealment blush. I subscribe to dri magazine. It comes to matt how. You're the only one congratulations founder. I have a blue velvet. Mid-century accident share by drew barrymore. That i bought from walmart. I own a copy of little girl. Lost that i bought in one thousand nine hundred with my allowance because it was her autobiography. She wrote at age fifteen. Wow and guys let me just stop you here coach knox here. If you get too into it it gets weird and a list somewhere. I've seen every movie. Every tv guest spot i rooted for every guy she's ever dated. Even tom green. I try her. I watched santa clarita diet. Even though it was white hot fiery trash. And i was like it was okay like.

"This time to try to narrow down our list of must have shrubs to the real standouts and tell us why i can margaret. I know you'll never get it to three. It's funny you said that because when we first started talking about it you said one and both of us that we can't pick one. Can we even pick three right So which of your books. We always give copy of what looks only talk on the show at with the transcript of the show. What do you think i mean. Is this one for shade gardeners this one for. What's this one for a cheat garden shade garden would be a good a good one. That's always a huge hit so good good. Good good So we're at you. And i in our lives are at what a another expert friend says is the shrub season of our lives which is sort of rather than crawling around dealing with lots of fussy high maintenance perennials. It's kinda great to have some big fillers like mature shrubs to do a lot of showing off and yet not ask a lot of us. So where do we begin. What's a shroud. i guess. Well a strobe is a multi stemmed plant of woody plant and i guess that's sort of describes a tree would have one trunk one stem herbaceous plants die down to the ground soft tissues and shrub is a woody plant. That is bushy bush. I don't like that word for describing his trip but it's rub can be bushy. Okay okay and we should say before we start naming our desert island trump's that we didn't include khanna first because really that can that's a whole other conversation So many shapes and colors and textures among those so Do you remember your first. Trump been is still there and is it a favourite or it didn't make the list. Well i get. I get to pick three right okay. You want me to tell you. My first well you said conifers. And i'm not going to talk about converse but my one of my favorites shrubs is. Evergreen is a what is called a broad lead evergreen and it's a bucks it's a kind of boxwood. I have too many of them. And it's a box with semper barons. Graham blondie yes and it is one of the most colome ner plants i've ever seen really but It's a shrub and it's minor. There's probably i have some. That are like seven feet tall and fifteen inches. Wanted if you can imagine that. They're they're like punctuation marks. You know they're like exclamation marks in the garden. And as i said. I have too many because when i first got i always wanted them and then a nursery not too far from here a lot of them. Nobody bought them and the price kept going lower and lower and lower. I think i have made. I may have twentieth them when they were eight dollars a piece. Wow that's a lot of exclamations. A long time. I know and i i also keep moving them. I just moved three boy Son they want son you know. I'm sure they would love son. But i have all my box with. I don't have any full sun. But i have some of my boxwoods in quite a bit of shade and they stay calendar. Sometimes i tie them up because the snow might split them a little bit or you know splayed them. They don't break. But i do. I do tai the ones that are floppy up for the winter. And i love it if you says boxwood called graham. Landy columbia okay. I don't actually have any evergreen things at all on my list whether broadleaf or coniferous And i was thinking when we started this conversation today on the phone that my first trump passion was the genus vibe burnham. In back in the day we had a lot of divi burnham's like the double file and so forth that turned out to be kind of invasive and a lot of areas of the country. So i don't grow those anymore. But lately i've been cultivating more and more native ones like the maple leaf a full liam then tatum the arrow would and so forth So that was kind of where my shrub journey began. But the thing. I have the most of you said you have a lot of grand. Blondie is winter. Barry holly speaking of things. And i don't know what came over me. I mean it was the birds that came over me early on here in this rural place having been grown up in the city. You know coming here meeting all the birds and knowing that learning that they liked some of them liked fruit and that the native hollies were one of the ways to fuel the migration in the wintertime. And i planted about forty five or fifty of them in three very large groups in different directions toward the perimeter of the property but in different directions where i can see them from key windows in the house at a distance in the winter and all different varieties and Big ones small ones. I got a lot of fruit and birds a like very much. And yeah so waxwings and robins like in you know hunt flocks at one hundred or whatever at a time will come in right around now november ish and again to pick over at At the first snowfall and so forth and they'll strip them all pretty early on but one trick with winterbourne. Hollies if you want some that will last longer for your visual interest. The non red varieties they. The birds leave them longer. They're not as interested in them. So many yellowish orange ones and so the lighter colored ones and the winter

Of a lotus energy which is a global energy transfer network backed by renewable assets e._v. charging an hannah crypto mining. I'm going to get him to explain what it means but welcome welcome to the podcast. Thanks jack grigsby on your podcast. Let's get started i think. Can you explain what means by the you know what you mean by the renewable assets e._v. Charging an crypto mining short shorts as a lowest energy was a culmination of many years of a number of us working in the real data and realizing a sitting up solo winter orange or anything residential commercially that we weren't getting looked off or the major energy the largest energy created annex giants two incidents assets and with a view to for the future of electric vehicle charts utilization batteries and allowing people to get better revenue better yields out of the solar assets resident could in transfer your energy to business alter to frame it'll during night to someone internationals while believe it or not utilize technology so people who are not aware of how that can happen just sit of explaining very simple terms. When you said transfer i can transfer my electric city or energy not overseas or somewhere else as well actually happened. <unk> oli electrical engineers electricity shins and suddenly quantum physicists will immediately dismissed. Perhaps what i just saved or actually doing his transferring. The development of any jack served okay at the moment. L. energy network is might a distributed generation primarily sola sitting around on numerous burning and some large solar farms farms and of course hallway guests and there's a big transition towards awards batteries what way enabling on the network is allowing people to i guess he jack that power into the network chop actress actress monetize that ferry and they convert that value of energy to another location in reality not actually <music> transferring the electrons the the actual electricity with transferring the value or the way the blockchain does make sense. How did did you get started on. This journey way. Did that bashing come from well. I started my working life. As a an electrical apprentice. The <unk> literally doing solar for twenty eight years young boy and i guess the journey into this fight says the blockchain technology already started some eight months ago where it was suggested to us to convert our existing business into blockchain related age of suggestion <unk> and we weren't old act embracing of the idea that we looked at the technology. We could see huge benefits. We could hand over to what we call community at callouts. We work in this is you started dotted eighteen months ago to what what happened before that. What were you doing before this sure we've we've property development businesses which a lot scowl renewable energy is necessary mainly doing folk sola in the commercial sector will owning not solar arrested and selling under power purchase agreement to the design of large so effectively just reducing the cost was a hypothetical pulled out pine thirty saints power and we saw showing them twenty cents doesn't cost anything there ya out of services says but you know we look at the whole block shine spice it the advantage of being able to that business together to transfer energy site to the hassle will neighbor will not unity building. We could see a huge benefit need <unk> <unk>. I think a lot of people here probably don't understand you know in impact wise the whole big. You'll project. Is you wanna give bit example. I noticed some you recently bought. <hes> you know a country victoria something happened. You'd be doing quite a lot of work in you a india other parts of the world as well. What's what's happening there as well it will literally in energy spice now electrical business with converted everything <unk> income cooperative. We actually might be publicly. Aren't we saying that how complex rates highlands just become major corporations that don't care about <unk> that reference service seats would doing the same thing all of those projects overseas in what you told me about in the solar farm spice i think you're referencing in country country victoria yet we've made going around acquired socks to to put solar fountains onto energy platform so that we can they underpin repeating the the network acquired thoughts up in new south wales as well winning under which we just thought appreciate twelve megawatts and another siding jarvis buy fifty megawatts that we're doing approaching. They were the local aboriginal community and in that phone off l. colbert searching responsibility <unk> giving back to who is actually funding all this tonight. We've done it internally only a small number of investors way. They've contributed money for the projects cetera. We got a lodge partners invested to develop some solid with this dinesh. <unk> has some fly over that sits across europe altered. What is sorry to interrupt. Just what is asset means sorry mark <unk> industry banak ula that yeah a soul winterbourne's eager to have done like it's a it's a huge it's a massive massive project to ya and now you work with a lot of international clients. He got a pretty much going on in most countries they what what's it of in back in your life when you were twenty year old <hes>. What sort of advice would you give to that twenty year old person or that twenty year old anthony yes off while there's lots of things that i would love to do differently jag the the the the benefit of hindsight looking back having great people around you is is definitely a the o._b. Sciences young <unk> twenties don't try and do everything self that that are still were huge amount of hours hours but having people around us without a doubt the best thing that you can do an equally in that sense <unk> tolerate. I bet people in negative people around you the bringing down the kick them away from particularly from business. They might be friends and family and they may well you. I guess compartmentalize those people and you keep them in your friends circle but done them affect your business being being in the business you have to stay focused and a network focused without a doubt is something cigarette is while. I'm trying to do too much dirt. Basically you know several from businesses running once or paintings ransom awesome you inevitably end up with one hundred percents of nothing yeah. This is what i see with a lot of people like <hes> they want to do a lot of stuff and that's that's why they probably have you know four or five six things going on at one point in time and none of them are successful and but they what they believe in that because i'm skilled enough i've got a skill set should not be going and working on the multiple businesses at the same time i think it's fine into have roadmap and had that strategy you're going to vertically integrate introduce <unk> business type the core order of business develop that really well and then create full of that roadmap that offer the sale to earthly introduced you income hamstrings to your business different channels of revenue and eight hundred that can also protect your business reliance on anyone else to you say <hes> now i can say you know people see you as the founder and c._e._o. Of this big company but that surely wasn't sort of started that way you had to go through your own challenges as well jonah talk about some of those challenges you had to go through in the boss to become the person you are today. What will i wanna go back. <unk> literally started mining businesses nineteen years of age and it's risk a generational thing on my style's fortunate enough to learn the electric drive by my grandfather was also it in the same tried sos was guessing why are inside but across the journey while <unk> so many life lessons so many things that i had to it goes through what three major ones you wanna share with people i k- i think a big challenge certainly from why sake the serve being the construction industry is generalization is is administration in piper. This probably not enough appreciation lifestyle the the importance of it and being up to date with all your compliance and documentation is the twenty first century most owes monumental task myself. A game issued coming back to good paper have repeal that can do those things for you. The people will take advantage of that trust in now a forty four years of age of learnt. Give everybody respect trust. It is a long period of time. You're it's very different for for me now. In the cr you're hitting a cooperative about transitioning feis where republican investing and these credits even greater responsibility for mayor of that. It doesn't matter if someone's invested ten dollars ten million dollars is the hotter money cracks a great responsibility in her trusting people just season actually positive what is required business respect is true true. Absolutely i completely agree with that. In approaching much <hes> i can say that i made a similar mistake says that i trusted <hes> so many people are very quickly is dead. I mean if i just had given respect instead of trusting them from day. One would have been nice and i. I didn't actually know the difference between trusting and respecting i would say <hes> topping alone these things with time and experience. I guess yeah absolutely unfortunately it's typically trustworthy mike those areas. Yes actually have inherent in the body that is driving them to trust others because they are trustworthy sales yeah you you mentioned earlier that you work of quite a lot of long days long hours. You travel a lot. <hes> what what do you do to make yourself centered or complex because walking so long a doing all that work <hes> do you follow any standard practice or anything in particular to make yourself <hes> i would say <hes> calmer camaraderie in a comeback to the point centered or in that to the person the person you are show i i always place a high priority of my family. Discussion can expect to having people around you while so even even in working arm amazing team and you're genuinely may not just phenomenal painful and we we have a laugh we enjoy ourselves and that's part of being around papers a lift you up entered. I don't decide <unk>. Paramount's is i my family having food on the title enjoying marmots with my family and sharing our noses without a deputy marsin if if if we look at it from a business perspective absolutely passionate about loaders energy in what we're trying to achieve because i honestly believe we will completely disrupt the electricity in particular but the energy market and empower people our jackie is to go into developing nations so the launch is literally in the eighth overall able just not too far away from from now now targeting certain countries in africa overseeing <unk> word and deposits that we will be empowering ebeling villages and changing lives and doing things that are hugely beneficial and i guess part of your model out for the pecan handing basically handing control back yeah. That's a big big thing writer. I think being tired for the blockchain is the same thing right giving the power back to the people at <unk> so many benefits of the transparency aspects the the the freedom of trite. They'd have basically someone could secretly developing nation. There's not many opportunities and it's why we sit out lert. His energy with is nerd minimum contribution way. We're not only interested arresting investors one hundred thousand dollars plus someone could invest in rubies and that's a big thing because is <hes> i think it also especially not having their corporate structure as well behind <hes> just not making it your company reach any you're giving.

"And with me here in the bath is fear is my fellow oxygen user, MandA. What the monkey is that what that was a monkey had the hiccups or something. Hey, my name is MandA. I'm really excited to be here. Thank you to everyone who actually made it through our last episode. It was a lot of fun for me. And I'm sorry, Tom. Yeah. This one's going to be scheduled before that. We're not gonna worry about that one. Oh, okay. Norman because memorial day's. Oh, yeah. We're do Memorial Day. We are. I forgot. That's all. Yeah, I almost missed that one. But anyway, as I said, the yeah, the possible burger. So I can't no no. Okay. So, I was I was incredibly skeptical about this stuff. So the first time I had it. I was recently at DisneyWorld, and they were having the at Epcot. They're having flower and garden festival, and they have all these little kiosks where you can buy different foods as you walk around. Sure. And one of them I had this, it was almost like it was like a flat bread. That had an impossible, like Meatball with some like sauce or whatever on it, it almost like it was kind of an Indian kind of taste to it. Okay. And I was like, oh, you know, I've never tried or something like, why not give it a try? You know what I absolutely loved it. Really? I if you had not told me that it was not real meat would not have known the difference. Okay. See, that's the prizes me. It's apprised me, too. So. So that Africa back. I tried and actual impossible burger at a restaurant, which I will not name, but it is also very similar to the name of Batman sidekick. Winning with the color in front of it blew. Yep. Blooming with that. Yeah. And so, I ordered their impossible burger it was not as good as the one I had in Disney. But once again, if you had not told me, I would have thought it was just an awful burger not to be fair, though, can't really any burger. It's not be impossible burger. Well, you know, I mean it's just the brand name, but I would have called it the improbable burger, right. You know, the responsible burger trademark. Yeah. Exactly. At least. But at the very least it was not the inedible burger. Okay. Now, this has inspired me to create my own sort of meatless fish sandwich. I wanna do a fish sandwich that is not real fish. That is like fake fish and I want to call it fishing impossible. Yes. Big lead up for that was amazing. That was a big lead. Wait a minute. You can't. You already get imitation fish. Yeah. I know. But I was just, you know someone. Explain to me, how you can fake fish k with crab. But that's, that's actually made of some kind of bottom feeding chenille. So what you're saying is don't go to McDonalds, the flare fish. Oh, no. But those are so good rain. Love the filet of fish. So Memorial Day. Yes. The most important part of this podcast. We'll just back. Yeah. Now, you would think being, you know, being you that, that if we were going to do a Memorial Day show, what, what would the topic, do you think the Tom Cruise wore movies? Yeah. Or something similar to that. You would think like maybe maybe war movies, or military movies and things about flags. Yes, that would be for flag day, but we're going to do a holiday. Yes, it is. Okay. But instead, we decided to take the name of Memorial Day somewhat more literally. And so we are going to discuss movies that have to deal with amnesia or mental situations. You know that have to do with memory mistaken identities. Yeah, that kind of thing, so we decided to go off on a little bit of a diff-. Tangent here, a huge tension, a huge tangent. And speaking of tangent, MandA here is going to go first with her first pick. Yes, I forgot. Oh, let's not do that. Just one twice enough. All right. No promises though. So my first one, I've talked about it before, but it's actually one of my favorite movies ever. I chose. Mrs Winterburn really from nineteen ninety six and it, it stars or directed by Richard Benjamin. Who coincidentally, also made made in America? Yes. And one of my favorite movies of all time. Mermaids my favorite year with Peter O'Toole. Oh, I didn't know about that movie. That's wonderful. But made in America, Ted. Danson Whoopie Goldberg been love each other. They made a baby. Yes, they did with three men. That's a different medium different movie. But also Tom Selleck was in his mustache was on point. Oh, but no, this one, MRs Winterbourne from Janati six. It stars. Ricky leak Brennan freezer. Shirley MacLean obviously, like huge name cast, right? Yeah. And I don't think we're like has been in too many movies. But this is probably one of her more famous ones along with, like, what does that call crybaby? I baby good. Good movie, but can do it too. So anyways, it's loosely based on the book called I married, a dead man by someone called Cornell will rich loosely. Okay. So super loosely. But essentially the plot here is Ricky lake doesn't start off very well in her life, you know, she doesn't have a good chance for mom's gone. She's missing that. Mommy figure she has a dad who's not that very nicer. So she, what do you, do you run away? Join, you know, circus, maybe or you become like someone really famous in New York City. So she tries to do, and she meets somebody who, unfortunately, takes advantage of her in many ways, including her heart, and also, she gets a baby. So she's at a point to breaking point. Right. And she has to get on a train because she's like, well, I just wanna get out of the city. I have no money, but I'm gonna sneak my way in a train. So she does that and she ends up meeting. Brendan Fraser, and he's a very kind person very, very warm. Hearted towards her and helps her vade like being thrown off the train by the ticket guy because he actually lied says. Oh, yeah. This is my wife and, you know, whatever then bad things happen. Right. Train crashes. Yeah. And both Brendan Fraser and his wife is MRs the north more the departed. So the kind of twist here is at previous to this happening. Ricki lake tried on the ring of Brennan razors wife because they were kind of getting girl, time gal, pal. So when she survived this train wreck and never give birth to her son. She was still wearing the wedding ring, and that was her own identification. So now, she has to be MRs Brendan Fraser because the family thinks having never met his wife before that. She's his wife. And so she has to go along with this game, and it's I don't wanna spoil it because it's like I want people to watch it for what it is. But it's a really cute funny drama movie about how she navigates life as somebody else. What.

"X men's basketball team is back home tomorrow afternoon when they battled Boise state at VA hospital. Rena tip off is at four Brett Winterbourne next AM, seven sixty talk and breaking news. Zero card readers. You're out is the president going to totally f- over his face. Base. He plays flatmate baby. I okay. Let's let's have this out here right now. Let's have this out here right now. Seriously. Are you on team Trump or you on team Coulter? Are you on team Trump or you on team rush? Are you on team Trump or you on team America, are you on team Trump, or do you think he is team America in honesty because I keep seeing these stories, and I get it. I like Ann Coulter. She's a nice enough person in person if you can get her to to focus. I mean, she's kind of like a machine gun on fully automatic. When you talk to is you have Iran, and you say, hey, how's it going? And then fifteen minutes, either you say, thank you. It was great to have you here. I don't know that she's ever controlled the narrative. I mean, I know she's a ho a hawk on the border, but she's kind of an easier position than the president. Could just be honest here. Hannity is in an easier position. Rush is an easier position and Coulter's in an easier position. And I say this as being friends with all three of them. I'm friendly with all three of them. But it is different. What the president does is fundamentally different than what Ann Coulter does churning out columns or what I do doing radio for four hours a day where I get to have opinions on crazy stuff. Like, how do we fix the bluffs and a Cossio Cortez, and this and that this is a president who gets all kinds of intelligence gets all kinds of information. He's got much higher stakes here. He can ruin the economy by making one statement publicly. He can ja- jazz the economy by making one statement publicly he can take us to war. He can launch nuclear weapons he can do a lot of destructive things. He can also do a lot of constructive things. Everybody else is just part of the pundit class. I mean, Sean does hit TV and radio show, and I do TV and radio show. In levin. Does a TV and radio show and Coulter's against a lot and rush does a lot of TV and he's on radio. But at the end of the day, where people have ideas we. We have opinions strong opinions sometimes wrong opinions sometimes wrong opinions. But at the same time, this whole notion, and it has crept up you notice as Muller has kind of faded in the background collusion has faded in the background. We've now gone to Trump is Dom Trump is dumb, and he doesn't work and he has executive time. And he's controlled by the talking points handed to him by talk show hosts and columnists, and I don't think that's the case. He had opinions. He had opinions before he got elected. He had opinions before he ever ran. He had a he had a he had opinions. He had opinions on on any number of things, and he will have opinions throughout his presidency. And when he's done he's not a conventional guy, we know that. But but but then you've got Coulter running around endlessly endlessly saying who sold out the basis sold out. It's all that sold out on. The Laura Ingraham says sold our all sold out. It's all sold out. Okay. So I just do this. So then would you rather just have Hillary Clinton? They're in the job. Is he perfect? No, nobody is nobody she's gonna say someone like Ann Coulter. Now is going to say that that might as well have Hillary Clinton there because he's not okay. He's not doing what then. You should go out and speak for Cam. And for Hillary, you should go and campaign for these people. If you really think that America will be better off with socialists and marxists running the country because other than that, you're just shopping all you are is chattering and chirping. You know, here's here's what it is. Raise your hand figuratively. If you've ever gone to a comedy club. And you you watch the comic up there. And once in a while, you'll have somebody who decides to make them part of the show, and they will start chirping and heckling the comic and usually somebody if they're not to a neabry aided you might go to three rounds with the comic con kind of knocks him back in their place. And then the comic continues with the set, but occasionally you'll have these comics who are up there. Trying to set in the guys like you, stay, Jerry. In their drunken there yelling and the comical demolish them. And then they'll keep yelling at that point. Somebody's gotta get the hook and pull the drunk out. Because this comic is trying to entertain the other hundred and fifty people in the club. Not just the one drunk who wants to be the star of the night. My point is there are a lot of people trying to get to Trump get information at Trump's say, thanks to Trump. Tell him stuff. Whatever Phyllis had was stuff. Coulter is one person. Is he supposed to just listen to her is he's supposed to call her up and say, what do you think? No. It's not a good idea. What if I do it really you're gonna come out against me? Okay. Well, then I better not do it because I'm scared of you. Leader of the free world. Yeah. End of the day, you make the dec-. You're you're the decider to borrow a phrase from Bush. You're absolutely right. And so when she goes. Tarot card readers is to his base. And is he? Well, I guess someone like her feels feels like she's been betrayed because that's the reason why she for Trump was the wall was the wall. Okay. So many people. So he's doing what he can to get the wall done. I think what you need to be doing on radio shows and is going out there and saying these darn Republicans betrayed us. They suck. I don't want them to have any more power. I'm going to work to get Mitch McConnell out of the majority in the Senate. You won't take that position. Because you want give up the judges. Okay. So there we go. I mean, it's great. She's got opinions. It's great. She's got a website. It's great. She's got. Takes on things. But you're you're you're a pundit and accommodator run go run for congress. Go run for Senate. If you ran for congress and the Senate and got elected, you could be a real pain to the president all the time. You do that. Do you wanna make policy make policy? And that's that's the thing. We gotta remember here, folks. I mean, if you wanna make policy than getting the policy making business, you wanna have opinions stay in the opinion making business. If you're tired of being in the opinion making business and you want to make policy then go run for office or get appointed to something. Or maybe there's a deeper plot. Maybe she's purposely being the heel. Maybe she's being a he'll like in the old wrestling days where he's got to have a villain, and it makes them look more reasonable if Coulter's blasting him from the right, and he's getting blasted by AO see from the left. See the president looks like he's level. It looks like he's right in the middle there. It looks like he's exactly where he should be. There's going to be people who say that too. At the at the end of the day. What needs to happen is anytime you see Paul Ryan anywhere out in public. If you have the you need to thank him for wrecking the country because by delaying and having only seventy five legislative days in all of twenty eighteen we ended up with nothing nothing. They could've rammed through wall funding. They could have rammed through wall funding at the Senate level. They could've sent it to the president. He could assigned it the night before Pelosi and company took over. Could have done it. And instead what happened Paul Ryan sold out to the chamber of commerce crowd. Sold out. Sold out sold out sold out. And that's just how it is. So I'm sorry. I'm sorry. You're upset. I'm sorry. You're mad. You should run for office. Why don't you run for president? I bet you get four percent of the vote. You do really well. But for eight percent of the vote people will support you. And then you can make immigration policy when you get elected. Alberici rather chirp? Eight hundred seven sixty K FM one eight hundred seven sixty five three six two is Turkish man. It's all chirping Colin cabinet has settled with the National Football League. And people are saying see this proves that the National Football League had actually locked him out. They had actually colluded to keep him out of the mix. And so now he's gonna get sixty or eighty million box. And he's gonna make out like a bandit. He gets to be the martyr, and he gets to be a martyr who got paid really well because he's getting a settlement from the National Football League. How do you feel about this or do you just feel anything about Colin Kaepernick? That's the big question. All right on my other comment about the bluffs. I mentioned this at the end of the last hour, we think we can control the climate. But there's so much. We cannot control we cannot control rockslides we can basically not control wildfires. We cannot control bluff collapses, we cannot control instances in which volcanoes erupt or earthquake. Wchs occur. We can't control any of those aspects of mother nature. Can you give me an aspect of mother nature? We can control I can forests. We chop down forests. We can we can clear out grassland we could even really fill in swamps. And reclaim it as land if we really really wanted to. But when it comes to the big stuff fire floods famine blizzards hurricanes tornadoes, meteors meteorites Kennedy's were very powerless to control that sort of stuff. Yes. I said Kennedy's. Kennedy's have been responsible for the deaths of a few people. Let's be honest here. Okay. I mean, I hate to have to point that out to you. But there are naturally occurring medicine a hazard. But we're supposed to do the entire green agenda. The new green deal on spec that we know what we're doing. Sorry. Not buying Brentwood. Herbal show AM seven sixty talk and breaking news. Jim shaw. "winterbourne" Discussed on Invention

"He was born in the year. Eighteen eighty in the village of Winterbourne Gloucestershire, which is in south west England, and apparently JK Rollings the author of the Harry Potter books lived in that same village for part of her childhood. Wow. All right. Well, maybe there is a direct renewal criminal walled reference here. Strange Winky Dink. So maybe we'll see if there are any more parallels emerging between the two Harry's. Anyway, Harry Grendel Matthews. He was an electrical engineer by training. He fought in South Africa and the second bore war at the turn of the twentieth century. I think he was part of a Constabulary unit and. After that, he devoted his life to inventing things claiming to have invented things and hyping those claimed inventions, so he has a bunch of supposed- adventures credited to him one of them is a radiotelephone, which he claimed could transmit calls wirelessly between ground stations and airplanes, and you can immediately see the military relevance. They're absolutely able to an ability to communicate with your bombers, your your your economy since planes, etc. Yeah. So in nineteen twelve he was actually invited to Buckingham Palace to demonstrate the invention for Queen Mary. Unfortunately, this appointment did not go. So well, some engineers president wanted to look inside his device, and he didn't like this. And he got mad and left. Okay. Suspicious. But inconclusive he could've just you could just been very particular about his technology. Right. He also invented a certain method for producing talking motion pictures, basically a method for playing sound on film and Grendel Matthews would later go on to show a sustained into. Interest in working with film and TV. Yeah. If if I remember correctly, the ideas, he he uses technology to interview Shackleton, oh earns shackle. Yeah. The effort the was it Arctic or Antarctic expedition Antarctic, the thing, not Frankenstein. That's a good distinction. Yeah. He also supposedly invented a light projector which could display images against the night sky or against a large surface like side of a building. We'll come back to that later and then in December nineteen fifteen while World War One was going on Grendel Matthews performed a demonstration at a pond in London in front of an audience of British admirals and other officials and this demonstration showed off remote control of some war relevant machines, including remote control of a model boat, which he could steer around and shoot the gun of and remote detonation of a mine and strangely. At least me the reports. From the time indicate the Grendel Matthews controlled his model boat and his explosives not by means of a radio antenna. But by aiming a searchlight at. Them to control a selenium element in from all accounts. I can find it seems like this demonstration was actually success. It it as I can't tell any reason to think that this technology didn't actually work. Grendel Matthews was given a cash award of twenty five thousand pounds of payment from the government, and he was promised more if he could develop a remote controlled aerial torpedo. But he never did that. And there was a lot of overlap at this time between the concepts of like a Ray weapon. And simply the wireless remote control of machines. Like, I don't know if you notice this in the reading, but sometimes these ideas seem to blur together at the time like a remote control car would be the like something in the same class. As Ray weapons, I felt that was kind of odd, but well, the idea of controlling something at a distance, and and or sending energy to machine. Yeah. Or to or to target either enough to power some sort of machine or? To detonate a bunch of gunpowder. Well, if you go and read these articles from the time about death, raise very often, they mentioned they're like, okay, we could annihilate an army or shoot or whatever. But then they almost always mentioned or stopped the engines of an airplane that I mean that goes right back to the main motivation, like the kind of next war paranoia. That's this motivating these hopes for a death-ray the idea that they could stop bombers from reaching your cities..
