"Like halfway there half way. Not so that's why. I say it's kind of like an image to the original but the the main theme we started out with and then as we began to the project i had him composed some music for the inbetween transition scenes. I see how long did it take you to complete the episode. I think it took us a little over a year. Took me a little over a year to get done. Well you did a great job I thought you could give us some recommendation to our listeners. If you're like crypto z. What else should be listening to own. I've got coolest so long that you probably a i'll ever be able to finish it but my favorites my favorite's the ones that i've really enjoyed i would say first off maga's elgar I can't say enough about these guys as far as comedy if you like comman. If you don't like comedy not for you not for you. It's it is. It's like a fantastical world cadillac with wizards and things like that. But it's another realm but the way they incorporate that with our world and the jokes and stuff they have in that it is just delightful. Like i don't know if i've ever laughed. So hard at a podcast. I literally at one point had to pause the podcast. Because i was laughing so hard i could not hear the dialogue we headphones so mega elgar fantastic and i know kennedy is the sound designer for that and also a christopher more. Those guys are fantastic. But i victoria. I don't know if you've heard of them there from the the uk They do a fantastic again. It's a comedy more of a steam punk victorian kind of style. Comedy fantastic There's a company called ear epic. They've done a series called joe soda and that That sound design really really impressive. A lot of layers in that Sometimes it's a little rough to hear some of the dialogue. But i mean for what they did like. I'm not going to criticize. Because that. I can't imagine how much work that was and it is. It's fantastic in my opinion that that's definitely a sci-fi series. I'd say if you like horror. Listen to the white vault. There's the call of the flame which is like a fantasy podcast which is really fun. Got a lot of good guys that one. Then there's the leviathan chronicles. They had a big hiatus due to some really really tragic circumstances but they just came back almost done with their series now but they man that's a that is a project and a half. Three seasons of some of the episodes are like hour and a half long. Like it's it's it's a ride. That story is just incredible. Then of course cryptos e if you like good stuff Do you are you. Are you ever considered starting your own series or are you planning to do more of a remix of the show with you. I am right now making a another fan project again. No monetization at all in it. It's going to be giving away free completely. But it's it's called uncharted. The hidden kingdoms based on the unchartered video game series by sony. Naughty dog And so i had a a writer wrote. it's basically it's a two part story. It's gonna probably be about an hour long. Maybe a little over an hour the whole project but it's an original story and it and it stays right in line with the lore of the games like the established lower so it doesn't break out of that and do some crazy weird out of character stuff with everybody But chuck duffy wrote that one. And so i'm right in the middle of that i've got probably eighty percent. Eighty five percent of the sound design. Done and i came across another composer for that one on youtube is name. Is evan beuerman easy. Flex music on youtube very. I mean crazy talented. So he's doing a custom soundtrack for that adventure. So that's what we're working on right now. I love this kind of adventures. Indiana jones lang was a big inspiration for for the music of the music was fantastic for that. The vocalisations that they have going on in there. I can't tell. I can't tell if it's if it's sampled or if it's if it's a real person if it sampled that's absolutely miraculously if it's a real person makes sense but it's still you're referring to generals or courtesy cryptos the show so you're referring to the throat singing yes No it's We recorded throat singer. Okay it was a good one i. I'm a huge soundtrack. Buff like i listen. Virtually no vocal groups of any kind. I just listened to soundtrack. Tv show soundtracks game show or game. Soundtracks movie soundtracks this soundtrack. I would absolutely which. I think. I've posted before but you guys definitely need to release the soundtrack for purchase. Oh it's funny that you said that we just released it so we have twenty seven tracks. Remixed forty always t and many of them are exclusive to this to the. I mean the throat. Singing is really cool. I really excellent excellent. But then just let the whole soundtrack. Just the layers of the instruments that got going on there and the realism I loved it. It was fantastic very mysterious adventure in the indiana jones vibe. I definitely get that. That's probably if you wanted whenever going and talking about that that's probably something else that kept me interested in the series because you definitely have that adventure but there is research going on and all that kind of yeah thank you so much And i'm gonna definitely you're going to send me the link to the shadow and i'm gonna put in a short laws so that people can go and check it out and Touch with uncharted I'd love to hear it as well. Actually i wonder if it's not on your website as well it is There's actually two websites one for the shadow. The shadows the shadow remake dot com and uncharted. This uncharted t h k dot com. But i've got a trailer on uncharted and we got some of the the music for uncharted. And you're not afraid like naughty. Dog is going to give you a call. Hey what's that. I am hoping they don't. They tried to put disclaimers all over. Everything i'm gonna give this away for. You were just fans doing it. We're not making any money off of it. Wes over and having their try. I hope they don't. They're they're really good with having people do fan arts and even like posting on their channel. This person loves the last of us to or this and they they did this cool tattoo and so i'm hoping we'll take it in the spirits intended. It's just. it's a love letter to their series because our series is amazing at. That's what i'm hoping they're gonna take it as but you know if they take it down then i will have a wonderful time listening to myself. I know there would be crazy to do that. It's free advertising. I mean i. I would be happy with it. Thank you for coming on the show. And i'm really glad that susan one lived up to your expectations. No i just think if if people haven't listened to crypt disease you should it's good. I don't think it'd be disappointed unless there's no season two. I can't stress that enough. There's gotta be a season to listen. Yeah i'm with you. I want us into the team. Wants us into two. So get just a bit attraction. Guys doing a bang-up job. thanks john. Thanks for the opportunity. Thank you so much for listening. I hope you enjoyed this conversation. And you'll check how jonathan's work if you haven't listened to the entire season of cook dizzy. All ten episodes are available at website. Eugenie dot media. You can also text six four six two two nine three four two three if you have any questions or write to us a couple of the offend up in the next episode. We're gonna the first member of our game design. Team is currently hard work on the ending again. System fucker pussy. Thanks again for listening to see next time..

"So in 1991 they were this still the Winstead rag ese who was your hometown rival for 4872. 07 50 Ross joins us in bucket Ross Welcome Mark Airfield. Somebody guys bailed. Excellent. How you doing? Doing great. I just want to chime in on your rivalry argument, okay? I just wanted to say the Westminster Wildcats first Love it. Lines is one of the oldest rob where there is so that's a school versus school rivalry as opposed to a town versus town, right, But I also wanted to say another one. Everyone in Georgia knows about Brooke would burst, Grayson Oh, I thought was Parkview Brookwood. But you're saying Brooklyn Grayson Kirkwood Birth Gration? Yeah. Yeah, they made a rap songs about each other little way. Never got that involved with the civil rights, So maybe so. That makes sense because I mean, listen, Atlanta's huge right. So maybe it's school versus school as opposed City versus city, although yeah, we just had one school. Thornton High School Winston High School, So I guess it was kind of school versus school. But even the old timers Like 80 year olds in my town would hate the 80 year old and Winston like those raggy exactly those that old raggedy he stole my first wife Paul's in L. A. J. Paul walking the Mark M show. How's it going, Paulie? Hey, man, we got Gilmer versus picking one of the greatest rivalries. It's been going on for many, many years. So that's always county rivalry there. Yes, but there's 11 High School one, you know, versus the other high school from the other camp. Yeah, Class Triple A, depending on the pitting on the amount of people Sometimes it's good quality. But, yeah, I mean, they will sneak up to each other's football fields and And, you know, spray paint or a gown and do the signed in the whole nine yards. Yes, not just athletic field, but they'll prank each other. They'll Frank each other. Yes, they will ever rise to the level of fisticuffs. Oh, sure, It has. Absolutely, I'm sure and not as not as much anymore. It's Ah, It's more You know, we hate each other, but but what? We try to get along, but I definitely definitely on the football field all because of each other the whole game and they'll throw punches. They get a chance There was there was this one kid for? I went to high school a Tom Wall, sweetest kid ever. Actually turned out to be a pretty successful lawyer. I mean, he was not just the sweet picture a sweet guy. Alex Williams, and for some reason, the Burger King and Torrington was closed. So Tom Wall went to the Burger King and Winstead and he had like a torrent in high school bumper sticker on The rivalry was so vicious someone threw a brick through his windshield in the drive through a river going like, Yeah. I mean, I was just legit. There's not much to do in northwest Canada. Yeah, but it was like, go back to your own burger King. You know, like the kid did nothing. He wanted a Whopper Jr with cheese. And he had the torrent of high school bumper sticker on at the Burger King Drive through and literally someone threw a brick through his windshield. Did you get the burger? I don't think so. I think Tom peed himself and drove back. Teo went to the Wendy's in Torrington. Linda's in Smyrna. Linda, Welcome to the show. Oh, hey, I love your show. Thank you, Linda. I grew up in a cute little town called College Park, Georgia. Back in the fifties. I bet it was adorable. And there were two other little towns call hateful and East point. And the rivalry for Probably 30 40 years. Even when my dad was in school, I was always tough, whether it was basketball, football or whatever. It was always price going on and We can fight. Me and racing in the streets. Whatever. Now, do you think those rivalries hold? Truth? Present day? Do you think those air still going on? No. Because they consolidated the high school's back in. Um, I'm not sure if it was the eighties. And I think that changed a lot of it. Plus, the airport came in and took along. Yeah, that that that's certainly changed a lot of things here in Metro Line it, Linda. Thank you for the call. I appreciate you listening. We're going to come back after news, weather and traffic. More recalls What else I got talked about. Oh, Amazon drone deliveries, flying cars and Chadwick Boseman. I got to talk about him as well. "Plus yeah drew Brees Mike Evans J. miss Winstead all full David Boies Sam so that's my only argument what do you think my man wait so you're about Spanish you tell me I guess we lost Rico he says he's a bucket here makes it seem like he's a member of the football team I personally and I like Mike Evans a lot and you know I've seen his story before I'm I'm a big fan of of Mike Evans and I think he's gonna have an unbelievable year this year what did he say yeah but my cabins left catches more yards that's not true my cabins and I know I got hurt at the end of the year one thousand one fifty seven yards this past year and Michael Thomas it's summer over seventeen hundred yards now career wise yes Mike Evans has more yards you seventy two seven thousand two hundred plus yards seventy two hundred plus yards that was over six years ago Michael Thomas has been the lead for four years and Michael Thomas in the lead for four years has five thousand five hundred and twelve yards and thirty two touchdowns avances Bennell league for six years seven thousand two hundred and sixty yards to be exact and forty eight touchdowns Evans is a heck of a player and now he gets a significant upgrade at quarterback going from Winston to Brady I put evidence though if I had to rank this if you ask me the receivers that I would want for this upcoming year and then we go in order now I would say Hopkins one I would still portfolio to I will go Michael Thomas three then Mike Evans for and if I have to pick a fifth I'm basically deciding yeah you can probably go Tyree kill those right now would they be not in the picture then AJ green just been hurt too many years and that has been the same AJ green I would say your five best receivers in football and then you could you come over in any order that you want if we're being fair you could move them in any order that you want because they say the Hopkins is one you could just make as compelling a case that Julio Jones Michael Thomas and Mike Evans are Tyree kill should be one for Hopkins and I know you look at the entirety of the career and the question is entering twenty twenty and I like that combination of him and calamari I I just look at Hopkins and this is a guy the two things that stand out the most about him was that twenty fifteen season when he was playing with absolute garbage at quarterback and what your mallet Yates in Wheaton and he had over a hundred and ten catches over fifteen hundred yards eleven touchdowns that's absurd plane with those four quarterbacks Julio Jones said that right now that doesn't mean Julio Jones is in a great receiver at the ludicrous to say that Michael Thomas to go five games last year without drew Brees has that drew Brees Mike Evans okay hi James wants to no one supposed twenty yard you suppose a lot of interceptions still and you have the speed of Tyreek hill as well but when I look at the five receivers Hopkins Jones Thomas Evans and Tyreek hill and I really do believe that Odell Beckham is gonna have a monster this year the Bombay Adams is going to need to have another monster year and stay healthy because just bringing in Devin Funchess for the Packers is not enough to to really maybe I don't say limit his reps but spread that football little bit more thank you a god when I think it's gonna have a big year to another big year now playing the Brady here's one that very very underrated and we all we know that he's a good player but probably doesn't get the credit that he deserves because of the football team that he plays for I remember that quarterback situation was it usually not a disaster was a disaster last year Kenny Golladay Kenny Golladay last year that you know he was someone that had sixty five receptions almost twelve hundred yards eleven touchdowns that that is damn impressive where he goes in last year and play sixteen games and wanted staffer get hurt let me let me see how many games Stafford played last year before he went out for the rest of the season now you get staffer baxo galleries numbers even go up more but Stafford last year in twenty eighteen nineteen Matthew Stafford played a total of it was eight games the season gala day is playing with not good to put it nicely not good quarterbacks we have like David Blough on the field at what point so that was a situation where last year where blah they played five games validate very impressive to but yeah five receivers best wide receivers in the league Hopkins.

"While I would probably say James Winstead the key has the more he's the mortality quarterback but if they just traded away Nick Foles and I get money had a lot to do with that what did that make you think that for this one year they have that believe in Gardner Minshew sub you bring in Janus Winston you know you're bringing in James with some with the hope that he's just not able to eliminate the turnovers but what makes you think that he's gonna be able to eliminate those turnovers if you're gonna make in the starting quarterback I knew nothing really there I'm with you I just think at least in training camp I think that he's a chance his ceiling is higher so if he plays better obviously but then again you know he first three picks in the first game you're in government you're starting with two yeah see if they bring in James Winston and if you got a for a one year deal okay you do it creates competition and I'm more with you if I'm running a team and you give me the choice James Wincer Gardner Minshew I probably take Jameis Winston but let's also remember I don't think this is a jaguar scene that's really trying to create a lot of competition I think they're fine gold verge with Gardner Minshew this year they're going to try to tank lose as many games as possible if Gartman shoe shines the maybe have something if not you're the number one overall pick and you end up taking it Trevor Lawrence added clients in overall when I look at this if I'm looking at James I think the best thing would be able to learn a little bit but go behind some of that you could learn that may not be there long term and when I look at Jacksonville he's not going to learn anything from Gardner Minshew because there's a chance right away to get himself on the field and most likely is not gonna be able to correct those mistakes in one offseason so I think the best spot would be Pittsburgh it's a tremendous organization you'll get at least the starter two in the regular season because Ben's gonna be hurt and I don't believe Ben's going to be able to return to regular form and this could be big Ben's last year so you get that warning your maybe get a game or two to sign then who knows maybe James Winston gets the following season to be the guy for a one year trial period in Pittsburgh I look at Pittsburgh I just believe as an organization there are much better organization and the Jacksonville Jaguars I think the patient's gamble in in Pittsburgh would be better than the immediate fix you probably won't fix that much in Jacksonville so I will go off sides and also to feel is the best landing spot right now for James what's or even the patriots imagine to go play with bill ballot Jack I don't think that's going to happen but that's better than the Jacksonville Jaguars.

'Birds of Prey' Review: Nihilism for Fun and Profit

"Movie reviews let's jump right into it Eric how you doing okay all right Steve how are you good all right so we can see prepare children we got the movie reviews here which we do every Sunday we'll talk box office as well we'll catch up when I was off last week for the Academy Awards but Steve you did see birds of prey the Harley Quinn thing yes hi would you think well I mean it this is a film that once very desperately for us to believe that it's a G. and twisted in the NBA wanted so much to kind of forget to actually be edgy and twisted it keeps telling us how it deals with the the the and that's not to say that the the latest DC comics movie century isn't doesn't have its moments but certainly Margot Robbie's is was among the highlights of this sort of a spin off of suicide squad and she was certainly one of the highlights of that film but it is fun at times I I I like I can honestly say I can't think of a movie I've seen more recently they are seen so many people work so hard to convince me they're having a good time and yet the it's sort of extraordinarily conventional at the same time unlike unlike suicide squad which is sort of put together by a government agency the birds of prey kind of come together more naturally joker isn't actually in the sermon and by the way I should make it clear we're talking at the joker not the current dot that most recent joker iteration but the jerit letto joker from a couple years ago but he's not in this it doesn't matter but that doesn't stop the screenwriter who Christine at Hudson who did bumble bee which is actually a pretty good script from from sort of leaning into his influence on this whole story when were re introduced a Harley Quinn she and and joke or have just broken up which apparently means that any protection that she has being affiliated with him is gone so suddenly all the criminals in Gotham when the killer and I'm not exactly sure why but she has done some horrible things in the past I guess one of the people she has wronged is there is a crime boss this play by you and McGregor who goes by the name black mask something of sort of a flashy party boy E. but he kind of seems to have one speed in one elevated volume when he speaks he basically like rip Taylor in a black skull mask so he's more obnoxious than threatening the the hit the side kick that's played by Christmas Cena whose actually way more sort of deviant sinister and then black mass gives but we don't really get to see him that much but the the what happens is that they these these email characters all kind of come together some of them are more superhero oriented like a crossbow wielding huntress is played by Mary Elizabeth Winstead and then there's care during black Canary's played by journey small at bell and there's a young girl name Cass who's play ballads a Bosko is a police detective Renee mon twenty it was played by Rosie Perez and I gotta say of all of all the of all those characters Winstead in parens really kind of stand out I guess not surprisingly and it's it's actually kind of really great just to be reminded how much of a presence Rosie Perez can be and that when given the chance and given this kind of exposure and and sort of elevated in this way there is a far more interesting aspects of birds of prey than just the action of the actions not bad there's sort of a subtext about what happens to people when they sustain prolonged abuse or other forms of violence most of lead characters are suffering from some form of PTSD or another in the sort of find unique ways to cope with that it's a it's a shared condition that brings these women together and bonds them and makes them not only surprisingly strong as a team but but it's also sort of a new weird little group therapy thing the film doesn't address this directly but it's sort of hard not to hard to miss it like get a you know a like most things in birds of prey it's not exactly subtle but anyway the the I guess of the action sequences are kind of a mixed bag of sort of standard issue cases in explosions in fighting and with a few sort of clever original and and a little bit bloody idea sort of sprinkled in but a few case you're in curious birds of prey is actually yes very rated R. the some there's some gory violence there's some liberal usage of four letter words but I'm guessing the under age folks who will be speaking into this movie will not be traumatized by anything that they see it's got a great Sir high energy soundtrack to really bombastic score by Daniel Pembleton and and enough sort of deviance from Robbie and company to the keep it interesting mobile when the problem with the film is the bad guy even the Gregory is terrible in this he looks like he's having a good time but you know the thing I hate more than anything else in the world in movies is watching someone have fun yeah because it does not this I don't know I don't know what someone on a roller coaster I want to get on the roller coaster like so that's sort of the problem here and okay when DC finally figures out their bad guy problem they're gonna probably for anyway but that to me it's a mixed review but but that's about I got a I don't know if it's positive or negative all

"Look around your abode and surely you will see something that you don't use anymore and you'd be better off. Selling macari is the selling APP. That makes it fast and easy to sell almost most anything. Just take a few picks added description. Set your price and boom. You're items listed checkout macari on the APP stores or on macari Dot Com with forty five a million downloads in the US and one hundred fifty thousand new listings every day. It's time to download macari and sell your stuff. That's Macari M. E. R. C. A. Are you're listening to good kids. How not to raise it? Oh I can't say that word. This is Liz winstead. When I grew up we didn't have a lot of money and I went to a birthday party for a girl that was in my class and I brought my guest and the gift that I brought was the gift that we all got for coming to the Party and I remember that it was so mortifying because everyone was like? Oh my God look at. You gave the stupid gift to her and he knows what my parents can afford. And I remember that I was just feeling judged and I was feeling you know one thing that feels really sad to me in this country is that poverty is weaponized and has been turned into a character flaw. You know rather than someone's just is less fortunate financially than you it. It doesn't mean that they're bad or stupid or not full of an abundance of other things to offer but it has really become something that feels like a judgment call. We make people and I feel like that is tragic. It's tragic for kids. You know as we look now at how kids are humiliated when they can't pay their school lunch bills us or it's obvious you didn't pay your school lunch bill because you get this thing's slapped in front of you. That's a jelly sandwich. Those things I think are so so profoundly curator changing when I was in Catholic school I will never forget this they. You did a thing that I thought was outrageous and that was it was. We were going home for Christmas break and the handed us. I must've been in fourth or fifth grade. And they handed us the financial report end of the year financial report of how much money the families had given to the church to bring home to our parents parents and it was clearly a way for us to be shamed or feel shamed and and go back to our parents and either feel proud because the parents give a bunch of money or feel embarrassing. Appearance didn't give a lot of money and my mom made lunch for the priests every day. That was her job. And that's how she gave back to the church and so on the docket. It didn't have a lot of money on this piece of paper and I remember kids saying your parents must not love God very much. They didn't give enough to the church and I brought it home to my mom and a handed her the booklet and I remember her going into their bedroom just crying because she was so she just felt so humiliated and embarrassed.

"Or anything, she just was somehow, you know, the spheres of social media and life and people talking my work, and who I was sort of just intersected with her world. And so I was like oh my God. This is crazy. Yeah. That's so cool. I love the show. It's so good. As people started season two I've heard mixed reviews. Well, you know, what I don't think you when you have a I like something that's that magical and then the second season comes along. And now they're kind of setting more of the storyline. We'll go to Paris and Catskills. I loved this season. But some people are like getting mad at how accurately portraying women's roles in the fifties. Even though midge and Suzy up senior manager, right? People are going down. Texas. And it's like, well, that's how it was. I mean. Down portrayals of what the struggle was. You know, when every time somebody says to you, why are you so mad? Why I literally had somebody you seem on the hinged. I'm like who's hinged trust somebody who's got their engines on at this point. Right. But you know, every time somebody said, why do women's left to fight this? Why are you so mad? So it's like because we history. Yeah. Straw. Use me as I tell you something and put up my hand, but back and learn your his, but that has been one of the criticisms of the show is that it's like, oh, you know, never read any because I keep I keep oblivious to that. Yeah. I love read, but just people relationship. Follow what they're saying. I just thought that was a crazy criticism, right? I'm going to move on. Laurie has all these Obad's. I do so many people died recently that. What? Okay. Here's episode people die. This isn't a kind of an interesting the day after penny Marshall died. Oh my gosh. Did you know her I did not know her? But I love her love her just somebody who was Winstead if you're running an inspiration, and you know, just one of those she's like a Dame. Memoir. My mother is nuts. It came out in two thousand twelve is hysterical and very dizzy, and she's very self deprecating. Just like she appeared to be guess, but the day after she died Linda Brown who is at the center of the Brown. Of education died at the age of seventy six so that was kind of like back to back that was just kind of a trailblazer. This little guru is at the center of that. And then Brown versus board of education on prime core is the way it's turning might not have been a law that we right ad which has desegregating schools. So that happened. But I this this goal to MC Dermott. I mean, I know none of us have ever heard of him. He's eighty nine but he composed the score for hair. I was totally having sex with you were. Everybody knows the tribal rock musician who was forty when he wrote that. And he was square is Sally were suits and ties. He didn't over to hippie was he didn't smoke pot John Lennon invited this in his obituary to a party. And he said, no, I want to go home to my family in Long Island. Just sounded like quite a character. You know? Oh my God. I saw hair when they revived a couple of years ago. I went it's amazing. First of all the music's amazing of all there is hot nude people on stage. It's great. Yeah. He never he never even knew it'd hippie was. But he just was prolific with. Anyway, he just passed away. Yeah. Well, you know, some of our best Christmas songs I've written by people who don't celebrate Christmas and that religion. So stuffy donate to. One Christmas tradition that the wind said family does. Well, there's been some that we don't do anymore since my mother passed away when you earn like crazy where she would hide the baby Jesus somewhere in our house. And then we on Christmas Eve, we'd have the hunt for Jesus and we'd have to look for him. And then she has an angel food cake, and she would put as many candles on it as possible, and we'd have to sing happy birthday of Jesus. She really. Yeah. Cake. Yeah. Oh that is that is that so Christmas we have a lot. There's like certain cookies we make an I here's a tip for all of your listeners, and you guys. Okay. So if your mother.

I mean, you can't just name him, Frank. You gotta give them a really cool Simione name. Batman fans, specifically Adriano fans. You're going to be pretty excited. Sean Murphy has been teasing. His next project will be Adriano central Centric. He is going to do his next thing is going to be Israel. He won't say, you know, they've come out and literally just adding of is going to be anything to do with the white Knight. And he just good question. You'll find out soon. So he's playing coy with it. Supposedly, there's going to be an official announcement at New York Cummock on this weekend, October fourth through seventh, we'll find out exactly what this new Adriano project from Sean Murphy is going to be. If you don't know odds rail, he's a really cool, Batman character just very righteous. And you know that with the name Oz rail and the sword. Good character can't wait to see his story. Sad news, a very prominent Batman artist norm brave Fogel passed away at age, fifty eight. He was pretty instrumental in detective comics and a lot of Batman and Batman shadows of the bat. He heals dabble a little bit in Malibu comics, the character prime, but he's mostly known for Batman, aren't worth. Passed away. Fifty eight. Doesn't say of what. But yeah, it's sad news recipes normally, Fogel, and thank you for all your Batman artwork. Birds of prey movie. They, we've got, I told you they were trying to find people to play black, canary hundreds. They've already got their Harley Quinn. It's going to be a Margot. Robbie. That's pretty much a given, but they're trying to cast a black canary and hunters black canary here on the left and hunters here on the right. They have cast supposedly cast journeys small at bell and Mary Elizabeth Winstead to play black canary and Huntress. So. You'll murmur -eckognize Winstead here. So, I mean, this still got. You know year and a half before we're going to see this movie. They haven't finished casting yet. These are two of the main actresses that make up the birds of prey along with Harley. So I'm guessing they'll probably start filming sometime mid next year. Speaking of other big movies, monster Sony's, monster, hunter. Video game is going to be turned into a movie. They have cast to in my mind, really big names for this. You've got Mr. Ron Perlman in mill Jovic Ron Perlman. You'll remember him. He was the first hell. Boy. He was in sons of anarchy. He's he was in the couple of other movies. He was in blade three mill Jovic. You'll remember her is legal from. The name escapes me. Now, the Bruce Willis movie. What is it? Why can't I think of it. Okay. No help anybody. "I forget what it's called, but they have. It's it's not good. Yeah, I the train concede probably allows them to deal a lot more that you know the plane would be a lot more contained in less exciting. Yeah, I I am going to go. I'm gonna go check this out because of all these tweets, I actually hit the mute the tweet on my mentions because my mentioned for just completely unreadable because of these people just responding to the article which HD you wrote and it's not like you were like excited for this remark. Well, actually, I'm surprisingly not angry about it either because I think JAMES BOND is really talented. He created the entire conjuring universe, which is like one of the few horrors in a matter universes today, I think in his hands, this wouldn't be a bad remake, even though the original again is perfect. I think the the premise is so simple and kind of bare bones that you really could put it anywhere just it wouldn't emit dot or probably wouldn't measure up to the original. Yeah. And of course, James one is going to produce. He's not gonna direct when I was visiting him in the editing room of the the Oklahoma. Editing room. One of the first questions I asked a question that our own Chris Ed and those like when are you ever going to direct another horror movie? And his answer was kind of disappointing eight. It was kind of he brought up Sam Raimi's. Drag me to hell in basically said like, you know, Sam Ramey found a way back. I will eventually find a way back, so I don't think that's can happen anytime soon. I would be more excited for this movie. I think if one was actually directing, but like you said, he has produced some some good horror films as Well. Chris, are you just totally not interested in this remake. I don't know. I mean, it depends on who they hired it or directed and all that stuff, but I really don't. The original is indeed still on Netflix. So you could just go watch that like, you don't really need to remake this specially so soon. Okay, so check that out on Netflix. Let's move onto a big bit of comic book, casting news, and that is that birds of prey have cast to new actresses for the film Christos, but it, yes. So you know a few days ago, we wrote up a story about how bunch of actresses where we're reading for various parts in the film, and now to have been kissed, Mary Elizabeth Winstead is going to play Huntress and journey smell at bell is going to play black canary in the film. And of course, Margot Robbie is starring in the film as Harley Quinn. And this is going to be Warner Brothers, big DC female driven team film, which is set to open in February of twenty twenty. I mean, you know what? What differentiates this from the other DC film? So we know about so far just in case people aren't falling birds of prey. Well, I mean, it's. There's a female director which is a lot different. I mean, you know, moral, I mean, obviously has Patty Jenkins, but up until now she was the only female director. They had. I, I don't know. I don't know what differentiates this from DC film just because I haven't seen it yet and there's always a chance it'll turn out to be bad just like all the other DC films except wonder woman. But I'm, I'm a little more optimistic for this just because it just seems like they're, they're really gathering a good amount of talent to make this happen. Yeah. No, it does seem like they are. The cast is actually a good cast. I know Mary Elizabeth wooden stead is very picky. I'm the role. She takes cheese, you know, being offered, you know, a lot of big stuff that she's turned down. So for her to take this, I think is maybe a vote of confidence. And I did want to point out the Caitlyn booth who has also journalists pointed out on Twitter that now this has been, I think, five or six people that were in at great Scott pilgrim vs the world who have since become..

"In the eighties when they're all like geriatric geriatric and that'd be really grandkids have a coke problem drive ferrari's around the estate this is wishful thinking guys i don't think this is going to be it but i like your creative juices in the writer's room right yeah the guy who directed the season series pilot is going to direct the film downton abbey was on for six seasons it aired in one hundred and fifty countries and set a record for non us television shows was sixty nine nominations i'm telling you what was so delightful about this series is it was not the best theories ever like i honestly think the crown is leaps and bounds we're talking about just british dramas whatever bus you loved that show in a way that you felt very connected to the actual cast and characters were than the story just wanted to spend time in their universe with those characters and you cared about them yeah i think you are absolutely right that's why i think this movie is going to be successful and people are going to crave it and it's not that far off from when it was done where you know you can still like bring it back without really missing a beat right it'll be nice alex trebek's is being sued ooh here's a woman who claims that his dog charged her and then knocked her into oncoming traffic oh what that she was walking her yellow lab down the street in l a earlier this month when a large black dog from alex trebek's property came running at her and tried to attack her she screened she turned away fell on her hands and knees into the street and then a large suv was headed in her direction but fortunately a witness helped kirk kerry helped carry her away from oncoming traffic so she wasn't hit by the car she wasn't she says though that she suffered physical mental and emotional pain worry innings iety and it has affected her workability park yes she was thinking we'll be settled though i know that is the truth macgregor's daughter has taken to instagram and she is she commented on macgregor's girlfriends post so mary elizabeth winstead is dating you and mcgregor this was not a happy split okay you and mcgregor was with his wife for a very long time they were married for twenty years they have four daughters together and when you when mcgregor did fargo he met mary elizabeth wednesday who is thirty three years old and they played lovers on the show and months after filming finished the sun revealed pictures of them kissing in london shortly divorced his wife and his wife called that move disappointing and upsetting and said my main concern is that our four children are okay mcgregor has continued dating the mistress and his daughter who is twenty two posted on instagram on an a fan account that was praising mary elizabeth winstead claire mcgregor commented oman y'all are delusional the girl is a piece of trash hold back on using instagram to air your grievances i would say i wonder if there was a terse conversation between her and her father remember when you and mcgregor thanked both his soon to be ex wife and mary elizabeth winstead his girlfriend in his speech after winning ago do you remember very weird because he liked thanked his wife and his family but then also thanked his girlfriend and it was very strange i mean he clearly had some sort of like midlife crisis like this thirtythreeyearold onset with him is beautiful and had adored him and he liked took it to real life and then blew up his whole family because of that yeah and obviously i know and unfortunately he won't be the last shea right yeah but you know something i there's no defense yeah i was gonna say sometimes you find yourself at that age going well now i understand why people do the things they do not choosing to do those things but i guess and mcgregor twenty two years old and she is trying to be a celebrity in her own right i think she's a playboy model and models and other various capacities and she's old enough to look at the behavior of her father and be like dude no no no i know especially in this moment she's twenty two and the girlfriends thirty three i mean that's not that far of an age difference and it's probably just ridiculous meghan markle is doing her own makeup can you.

"What doorly box his weekly guide the most important stores in the world part of ox media podcast network it's the only we've got jen back we have our newly married colleague vac defence reporter outward welcome back thank you thank you so the treason family thanksgiving managed to avoid any discussion of politics thank god but winstead discuss something that was far far less cheerful which was war with north korea and that's because we keep hearing comments like this from un ambassador nikki haley yesterday if war does come it will be because of continued acts of aggression likely witnessed yesterday and if four counts make no mistake the north korean regime will be utterly destroy that again was the un ambassador nikki haley and that was on wednesday which was a day after north korea fired the longest range missile in its history or as defense secretary james mattis referred to it earlier were higher frankly than any previous shot they take choice two researchers development effort on their part bilden ballistic missiles that could threaten everywhere in the world basically so that leads to the two questions we talking about today one husky should we be and to house a country that has made a people very literally starving pull this off and elks let's start with you could even ready about it last week what can this new missile actually do and why is this so much different so much scarier than the ones who came before when it was found out what this missile was what it was accomplished basically every missile expert was very scared and impressed by what it could do then here's why this thing travelled twenty eight hundred miles into space to give you some sort of comparison that's more than ten times as high as the international space station the space station is about two hundred fifty miles high uh it went only about six hundred twenty miles eastward and that's because north korea on purpose shoots basically at a straight angle in order to for other countries around it to not feel like they're being attacked um when you know experts look at this and single what would the trajectory be if they actually actually shot at america that would be a.

"You can do it and you can act and and you don't necessarily need lessons for it but at the same time you acknowledge that having a director will you specifically just talked about smashing having a director really help guide you and talk to you so that that is a class that is one helping you get where you need to be a for this part and making you confident yes me new confident in it that you know you're doing totally and that's totally what it is for me is going anytime but i've i've had a teacher coach or you know our director who's really handson or something and just helps you take something to the next thing where you learn something from it but i've never been super attached to a certain method or attached to a certain way of james buster most of what would you do because he asked you back the spectacular now which is another terrific move it is i know he sowed miles teller healing and you play miles children system and uh a gin a film that's just you know so solid the and so and so thoughtful that's the word i keep thinking here of the thinking about who leads a good word for him is incredibly thoughtful credibly yeah you know not many movies make you really make you make you feel yes you know the way he his best films and you and uh so i as i say i think just working with him it's a compliment to you that he said come on back yeah of i know i don't really it was i mean that that he i think saw something in me to cast me originally it was like a huge a similar even have things with different directors were you know like wouldn't turn tino anchor right was that way you know people were you really respect them and you go okay well you see something in me okay that's really huge kind of confidence builder in and then and then to be told.
