"willy nilly" Discussed on Crypto Altruism Podcast

"And that's that they can be reinvested once I've donated to my donor advised fund. I could potentially put that into an ETF or into the S&P and allow it to grow with the market. And now we're actually able to do that on chain with our donor advised funds as well. So we have these board approved crypto and DeFi portfolios under the same sorts of asset management standards and best practices that other community foundations are following. And now I could make a donation of eth and actually put it back into eth to allow it to continue to accumulate and value over time and then make a grant in the future. So it kind of adds this invest ability this market exposure that traditional donor advised funds have had and we're very excited about that. And then in addition, these contracts now for our funds and organizations are now fully composable. So previously, we were, I would say mostly smart contracts. Where we had our funds in our orgs operating on chain, it was visible. What was in these funds and the amounts were clear, but you weren't able to just send Willy nilly assets to one of these fund addresses to one of these nonprofit addresses and have it be processed. That's now all taken care of. They can be interacted with, just like a regular wallet and exists sort of as a money LEGO that can be easily built into a royalty split of an NFT project or a DeFi protocol can have automatic routing to one of these fund addresses as to a nonprofit that they want to support. And without the organization necessarily even knowing that this is happening, they can be effectuating this perpetual funding for nonprofits on chains. We're really excited endowment dot org has all the details about V two. And we can't wait to talk to developers and find new ways that we can integrate this protocol into their systems. Yeah, that's really exciting. It's really cool how you're adding in all these new features that allow nonprofits to continue engaging with web three new ways

The Cost of Illegal Immigration

"Speaking of the illegal aliens. I want to be very clear about this. I think it is our job, our duty as Americans as Christians to supply needs to the needy and the people who do not have what we have. However, there is a thing called strategy, and there's a thing called I really care about these people versus the virtue signaling and the political agenda. Let's walk through this. Encouraging people to just come over here Willy nilly. It's not like they're getting, they're walking the well worn path. They're getting esco escorted over here by coyotes that are run by the cartel. People are paying hundreds of thousands of dollars to get people over here. Hundreds of thousands of pesos to get people over here. And while they're en route, the young women are getting raped, they got little kids pregnant. They're getting raped on the way over here. What are y'all thought was happening?

Rebecca Hatfield on Making the Best Consumer Choices

"What my policy is, Walgreens is another one that is a really not good company, which is your child Walgreens. Walgreens is a very well company. So think about this. Think folks, how big these companies are, they're everywhere, and you kind of feel like everywhere. The choice do I have? I got to drive on the road. I got to go, I got to get this. I got to get that. I can't avoid it. But you're telling us, if you can avoid Walgreens and target, that these have become tremendously woke companies. But the point is, okay, if your child has a fever at three in the morning and Walgreens is the only 24 hour entity open, go get your child some Tylenol or whatever at Walgreens. You make the best choice that you can at that time. Amazon is really hard to compete with. I mean, they've got, you know, we're in the Nashville area. We can get same day delivery. There are some times that we have to use Amazon and we don't like to use Amazon and we try to avoid it. We want to shop local. Then we choose a mom and pop shop if we can't find just a local something we use a smaller brand name that's not a family owned company or American made. So we try to do like a sphere of local and then family owned and then so we try to avoid the big box brands as much as possible. But the point is that you make the best choices every time that you can. And not to brow beat yourself and not to just go crazy with trying to be dogmatic about it, but just every choice beware of what you're trying to do and realize that each purchase that you make, it is a vote. And if you're just careless and you do Willy nilly, whatever you want to do, you're making a vote towards the left's agenda. If you don't pay attention and say, hey, I'm going to try to be more aware of what I'm purchasing.

A highlight from Free To Love

"Welcome to live behind the veil and atmosphere where men and women of God speak his word to this age and bring his kingdom to this earth. Do you have ears to hear and eyes to see what God is doing in this hour? Let us join our host and the family's conversation as the Holy Spirit is unfolding. The word behind the veil. I'm Ron your host, and on this podcast, we are asking ourselves how we become free to love with God's love. You know, look at our nation today of young people, you know, they're not being trained up in the way they should go. Right. According to what scripture talking about, now we have young people who are not disciplined, proverbs, huge about disciplining children, so that they learn their way, and without guidelines, you know, what's a scripture without a plan, the people perish. What was the Steve covey, right? Back in the day, he said, imagine, climbing the ladder of success, only to find out when you get to the top, you're on leaning against the wrong building. He just wasted your whole life going the wrong way. God's love is not human love. Not at all. God's love has guidelines. God's love has restrictions because God knows that if you don't have restrictions and guidelines that you're going to go in ways that are destructive and so you're talking about the ladder against the right building of the wrong building that ladder is God's word God's guidelines, God's love. I agree with you. I don't think that the generations that are coming up, and I know that's a kind of a generic general thing because it doesn't fit all people, but it fits a lot of people. That it's against the wrong building. They want to be independent. They want to be self sufficient. They want to leave their own life. It was true. Again, that's the fruit. You look at the fruit, and we looking at the fruit of that type of thinking and that type of lifestyle we're seeing chaos and destruction and a mess. In the world, the fruit is the proof. If people live a godly lifestyle because they are open to the word and open to God's love, their lives will produce that fruit, and those that don't, their lives will produce that other fruit. So even without a word, if you have eyes to see and you're not walled off to the truth, all you have to do is look out there and see the truth. We want to lift the limitations of appearances. Right. Right. I say this because I have a friend and I've mentioned him many times very dear friend. I've known him for years and he is honest. He is caring. He helps people, and I couldn't stand it after a while I asked him, I said, what church do you go to? He was offended. He says, I don't go to a church and it took me back. I didn't mention it again. For a long time, and I told him I said, I want to apologize. You know a while back, I asked you if you went to church you just do so many of the right things. That I thought you went to church. And he still did not want to discuss it. But I got my apology out there. To make myself feel better because I didn't see whether he knew who he was, and how he was acting. The Rain falls on the just and the unjust, but who are we to judge which one's which? Yeah. I don't want to knock Christianity, but they've got a lot to learn from the people who are not sitting in the pews because God's love is flowing out there in all ages. It's amazing how he moves and the eyes to see is not looking around sitting in a pew. You go out into the world and say, lord, show me where you're moving. Right. You'll be surprised he's out there moving and doing and creating and bringing forth so much more than has been locked up. Once we learn how to love, then we're free. We're not bound by anything if you're free to love. Amen . And God has no rule against that. There's no rule in thou shalt not love. And there is no hesitation. There's no holding back. There is no waiting. It's one of the things we can do and just go crazy with. I love what Dale saying about breaking down the restrictions. You wall this person off because they're quote not a Christian or they're not reading their Bible or they're not going to church or they don't look a certain way. Right, they don't walk a certain way. They don't look a certain way. We're coming to an outpouring of God's love on this earth that's going to blow people's minds and it's going to lift a veil of deception that Satan's put upon the earth saying you have to be this way or that way to love somebody, it's not true. And you don't have to be a Christian and you don't have to be. You don't. You don't have to be those things. And that right there, that statement right there. You don't have to be a Christian to love. You can be crucified out there for that. Just the reaction to that statement proves the point. Exactly. If I receive hatred and resentment because I said you don't have to be a Christian to love with the love of God, that proves the point. It does. Proves , we're all human. Right. There are people who have so many concepts and wrong understandings of first off who God is, who Jesus is and what the scriptures say, they've been taught and it goes back to what we were talking about, how you teach children, too. You teach them how to love. These people have been taught how not to love thinking it is love. Yeah, I guess, kinda. Yeah. You are wrong and you're gonna go to hell because you don't believe the way I do. Right. Yeah. God loves all mankind. Does he like what's going on? No, he doesn't like necessarily. He doesn't like our adamic nature and stuff, but he loves who he created. You know, you think about somebody. Dale, you used to build race cars. You build a race car and you put something special into it. That's got you in that car. You love that car and you want to race that car and all these things is wonderful and one of the hardest things you ever want to do is get rid of it. Yeah, I know. Because it's yours. Yeah, we're not young anymore, right, Dale . No. He has his life invested in people and in this earth, he doesn't want to just give it up to Satan and let things just happen Willy nilly. No. He's got a plan. And that's a beautiful plan that he has. He only gave us one commandment. And he said so in the scriptures, you can throw them all out the window. There is only one throw them all out the window. There's only one commandment, and that is you shall love the lord your God. With all your heart with all your soul with all your mind and your neighbor as yourself. Right . Amazing. And Christ, our pattern son, walked that out for us. He walked out every step of that commandment, clear to the cross, and on the cross, he said, father forgive them for they know not what they do. Right. Father and still your love in us, let it be our DNA. Let me lay down my life. I want to follow in the pattern. That you have created that I can be pleasing to you. Well, on this podcast, we've seen that without God's love and discipline in our lives. Our lives become destructive. Opening up to his love and discipline ensures that our lives will produce the fruit that he is looking for, and we will be a blessing to those around us. Experiencing the impartation of God's word through his family is life. Has this time in his presence blessed you, then please subscribe to our podcast at live behind the veil dot com. At-Home COVID Tests, Made in China, Begin Arriving to Americans

"But I wanted to see what these at home what this process would be like, Michelle points out that the test that the rapid tests that the government is sending to anyone who wants them, anyone, you don't have to pay it, you don't pay for anything. By the way, somebody's paying for it. There's not a COVID test fairy who's cranking them out somewhere and just sending them out Willy nilly. Yeah, we're paying for them. And Michelle said, when I saw that this test is made in China, she said, I know some people will say, well, everything's made in China, but this particular product should never have been made in China. You think China's the one that unleashed this virus on the world. It wasn't for China. We wouldn't have our world rocked by COVID. It's so disrespectful, she says, I can not believe that the Biden administration spent our hard earned tax monies to China for this. I'm in shock. I made a video of my COVID test boxes and I refuse to use them. I'm appalled. Thanks for listening, Michelle. In Texas.

Can the Republican Party Restrain the Tech Oligarchy? Blake Masters Tells Us

"Do you think that the Republican Party is there as far as the voters? Let's start there to restrain the corporate oligarchy, especially in the tech space. Yes. The voters are traveling a lot. I speak to a lot of voters. You speak a lot of voters talk about that. Well, I mean, I tell people like, look, I'm a pro market guy, like I have this sort of libertarian classic background. Like I was deep in the Austrian school in college, right? We're into this stuff. We don't want to regulate it. Yeah. I mean, I'm sympathetic. I think it's important to start. And some of it's really interesting. Some of this really interesting. A lot of it's sort of directionally right. And then I think it's the right place to start from and then you inch towards like looking at how is that actually working with prudence? And I tell people like when I invest in a startup, I want it to do well. I don't want to regulate businesses Willy nilly. I don't even mind if a company becomes big. If caterpillar, the tractor company wants to buy another tractor company for 50 billion in merged, like, great. As long as they're not going to Jack up the prices. That's great. But it's especially big tech. And these huge multinationals that control the flow of information. And I'm sorry, but when these companies have left wing politics, they're censoring sitting presidents. They're, I think, engaging in all sort of election interference. When they do that, we have to be able to treat them differently than like a local bakery or local hair salon. Yes. And that's still pearl market. It's precisely because you want markets to be free and open that you need to break some of these companies up. What markets are supposed to serve us? We don't serve market. That's right. Yeah, they're tools for human flourishing. They're not the end. And too much of the Republican Party, of course, is always just focused on GDP. Yeah. And we have to sacrifice ourselves so that we can hit some sort of number on a chart. Right. And the byproduct of that, just I mean, the text base it's so obvious is that you have tech companies that are worth more than ever before that are doing so much damage. And they're largely untouchable. They're basically governments tip of themselves. Step more powerful than most national

Have the names of famous naval air and read one side of the conversation. The other two players take turns responding to the texts or we could turn into a three person group chat but have to keep the conversation coherent as possible. Since this is checks conversation we can also vocalise emojis. Memes or reactions as needed. Should we just turn into a conversation rather than text conversation. You know what i mean like. You're just reading the conversation. The third the person reading the thing is part of a is is talking to us. Yeah i think that's better. Yeah because i don't want to read emojis and shit. Okay here we go. Do you like me to start or we could do. We could start and enter. That's maybe better. Okay it's interesting because whatever you say will affect okay. "Yeah yeah sort of wing of She started at the thing. Yeah yeah the volunteer. We did it at the food bank for quite a few years where you can go down and you'd like box up meals and stuff like that which in some ways kind of feels like. It's more of a promotional thing because they don't really need your help doing that as much as like. I think they wanted everyone to be out there like saying. Hey the food bank is around. Yeah oh we'll we'll you posted meals and then serving that's cool. Oh that's great. But then i also another organization that cool up. I think was the one who organized. This is probably the baby to baby place. That's Where they give women who swap babies. It's like they give close in diapers to babies. Give them to each other. Need them but it's like sometimes volunteering. Like i think sometimes volunteer qassim intimidating. Because i don't know. I can see i can get weirdly shy certain situations. I don't know but like but then the things that i've done i found that like there's always a task you can do that. Isn't it's within your comfort zone. You don't have to do something that is if you're if just as mainly people out there who are afraid to volunteer because i do feel like there's like an element of like social anxiety. That comes with the idea volunteering. Yes but like also the the social anxiety of being in any situation where you don't know how to do it. Yes is is very big like where you just don't know what's going to happen like if you can't picture yourself doing something like like if i show up to this place. What are they going to have me do. And there's so many just gets to be very paralyzing. Yeah but like for example with the baby to baby charity like there are people you could stephen stand there and fold clothes and sort them or you could like put boxes together. You could label addresses or or something. That's more hands on with other people like so you could do something by yourself kind of or get involved with other people and i. I think that's a good thing to keep in mind with that kind of thing Yeah i think that's a good thing to do with your kids to is just a still a thing But i also think we should get part time jobs. I did i tell you about the guy at the record store who wanted to hire me and who recently okay. So no no not recently When i was in college i would go into this record store lot and ask for very specific things you know and smart people cool record. That would be the cool with all the chicks at cafe. I still don't know the guy behind. The counter was in a band that was very influenced by the wonder stuff. They were like a wonder stuff. Rip off band. In any case so i would go in there. A lot in the owner would see me all the time and at one point he said to me. Hey are you looking for work. Because you're always in here and you know so much about music in. I could use someone like you and i was like. Oh you know what. I'm an acting college and i don't have time and then when i was looking for work they didn't need anyone and then i saw him in a mall like the following year and i went up to him. It was like. Hey dude how's it going. Are you still over there at the record store. And he gave me the weirdest answer. Which was. I'm not over there currently. But i'm doing well i can't say what but don't you worry about me. I was like oh drugs. What is just sparked a memory. That i'm trying to place right now of what i was walking through the mall. This was like a while years. And years ago i was walking through the mall in l. a. and this guy was like shooting something like they're shooting some commercial or i don't know what it was. He came got. I can't remember. It's such a bad story but i don't care. He came up to me and he was like trying to like we had met before i guess and he was like trying to like show me how cool he was because he was doing this thing. I wish i knew who it was. Oh man what a bad story. I've heard that you were at the mall and saw guy. Yeah okay. Hey that happened to me. To really relatable i used to i used to love going to spencer's gifts so we're gonna plymouth meeting mall going to spencer's gifts then. Did you have a game that you wanted. He wanted to get a fan. I think that needle thing where you would put your hand in it and it would. I have what mature enough that you didn't put it on your face because we always putting on it but what's wrong with putting on your face. 'cause goes million other people. Have oh okay spencer. Spencer still thing. I think it is. There's this mall in burbank. That is like every store is like somebody you've never heard of in your life. They're always call. They're called like times space like they're just they all have like weird. There's even a lips time. You know that mall that space in downtown brag they just re they just has like we shot there. It's got the glass elevator right. The a hotel that we're at wasn't it but right near oh no. That's across across the street. I know which you know. There's there's a mall with a glass elevator that we shot talk show in elevator with andy. Dick jack black. That was fun with people. Get with people from the mall just getting on and off during the talk show essentially being the audience for the talk show. It was if it was a funny idea and it never went anywhere. it's also like a dead zone like it's like every store is geared. I've never heard of a a mall when a mall goes bad like that yet. It's a mall spoils when amal clooney's well clooney's all i.

"I that used to be a special trip. You would go to like toys r. Us and be able to buy a lego set on a special day. You'd see geoffrey. The giraffe you will of toys r. us by kyle. Oh my god. My point is like i'll yes. I used to get walking around money. That would be like. Maybe i would get a dollar and i could go by a couple of comic books or something like that. Like what cost forty dollars. That is that equivalent of that. Or you know what i mean. Yeah forty no. I mean nowadays ten well candy. Of course there's always candy candy forty dollars. I'm saying it's too much. That's what i'm saying. Forty is too much like if it was like. I don't know but you couldn't buy a lot of candy with a dollar when we were no. You couldn't with forty dollars. You could buy a ten damn you to hell. I don't even believe it. I want you to spend dirty there. What if i'm there already. I don't know. I mean we've we've talked about allowances and i think i i was getting seven dollars a week at one point which i thought was fantastic. Sure a dollar a day not mind seven dollars a week right now so he just gave me free seven dollars absolutely. I'll give you some a week a week if you ring payment house. I'm not doing toward grouse. Take tell you. I tell you what every friday in the afternoon you have to come over to my house and take my garbage cans in and that's it will not for seven. Now this idea that makes me so sad worsening dollars a week cars over us his garbage back go home and then he or he walks out and hands you seven singles garbage camp. That's it it's an envelope. It's an envelope taped check. Someone can cash left traveler schick. How much would you do it for. How much would i do that. Specific chore for specific chore for. Yeah i have bear might have three garbage cans. The dry actually the least wanted more than travel. It's demeaning nature of the entire thing. But i would do it for a hundred dollars a week. You would do it for one hundred dollars a week. Sure whether this is worth it to me. Yeah we'll trade or an ipad. And i had a week engraved ipad recruiters raved ipad and personalized not engraved to someone in grave to you. I wanted to scott. I wanted to say your name. Oh personalized to you. Sure okay. okay sure dear scott. There's an ipad. it says dear apple So wait so you got seven dollars a week for and how old were you in. What did you have to do for. That was probably a lot of elementary school. And like i think it might have gone up a little bit in middle school not really And then what did i do. I did a lot of the the whole concept of allowance. What is it's basically just to give your kid like a treat that they want every once in a while or like to teach them how to spend money that i would get it and he would always go to candy or whatever. Yeah i. I don't know what i would spend by a beanie baby. Because they were six dollars. That was kind of exciting Dover for candy exactly we're tax goodbye another beanie baby. Why every six weeks. Oh with the dollar because they were dollars. Yeah i i don't think it was based on specific chores. There's only chore chart. But i did a lot of things. I do the laundry in my house growing up. And yeah i liked it. You can't even iron shirt. Why didn't i or anything. But i would fold. Everyone's clothes and put them in their room. And then like you know that was what i do. Lot other than that. I don't know what else. I think that's more than i did already. Yeah i do a lot of gardening. Oh that seems hard. Like pulling weeds. Yeah stuff like. I had to do that. I did Sludge sweeping sweep sweeping to this day but of course shoveling snow in the wintertime shits in the summertime trash cans absolutely What else trying to think we were supposed to. I was not good at like cleaning. Bathrooms like things like that that required like scrubbing like real elbow. Grease i was terrible. I sometimes i do the mirror in the bathroom please. Don't we door's locked. It's just you and me sometimes. A sometimes i'd have some windows or mirrors. I don't like that either really any kind of physics. My room clean and then i i liked cleaning like stuff so i i liked organizing so as i said i would go my brother's room and clean his room. I always liked organizing. I liked cleaning windows because windows felt like it was satisfying like cleaning windows was satisfying. There's a tangible result at the yes yay whereas whereas weeping but yeah cleaning windows is like making making a dirty window clean and looking through. It is very satisfying for some reason. Yeah thank you aren't why don't you come over and clean my windows helmet. How much how much would you do that for. All my windows every single one. There's no there's no amount of money. The world's insane. There's no amount of money no money every week. Ground floor windows. That are really guys. What have we got. What if we got part time jobs. I think about that so think about it a lot. There's his ears or there's a health store that i go. That's downtown place called barron hats. It's a great hats or they make like hats for movies and stuff like that usually there. I've i've honestly thought about it. Because i would love to be able to make a hat. Though to cool it would be cool. I don't think they need. You could be an apprentice being an apprentice. Yeah i you could get that. I think i think about andy kaufman. Just bussing tables at the height of his fame. When i think about that a man makes you mad. I think. I think it would be interesting to do just like some time. Although i guess. I guess if i were going to do it instead of it being a job for money it'd be better just volunteer at a place of service that you know learned. That is the one thing i thought about instead of going to church on sunday like me up one of the weekend as like a day of service. Great i mean every time. I have volunteered in my adult life. I feel like it's so happy i did it. There's a lot there. I did get a beginning. The pandemic volunteered at it was before the pandemic didn't have a mask on your. I guess that was before just didn't feel long mask I yeah stop you but volunteered at the la food bank and it was such a nice day and when we used to do that with ucb collapse nardin remember that..

"Thank you we did. Yeah i was scared. I was so afraid before you so john. Eight wait was why not one of things he should have more than to catch. Your catchphrases is true. The who what where where be bhai have you. Is there anything else that you would. Mike have decided. You're going to do like okay. Well we're definitely doing this. You know no and this is. I mean and maybe one day by day this is true. I mean i i feel like i just want get to. I prepared everything. I can prepare with them items that i need to have to buy like you have a what a car seat car seat got. The crib got a bunch of clothes for the house. One for the car totally. And i feel like when for them. I feel like i You know. I've been taking some online classes. We have a dula who's teaching us thing. Classes and what labor and delivery and cross us and we're still talking about that yes. Sorry and and so. I'm really focused on that. But but it's also something that kind of has come up as in my mind as i've been thinking about this is like and i think it's very common but i'm focused very focused on the delivery part because that's like that's the heart and scary a little bit and in big and then you know the rest of it is like a have to raise the child but yourself focused on the three hours. Yeah you know you're forgetting about the next eighteen years wang versus a marriage. I think it's okay for right now. I'll definitely figure it all out of time. you know. here's my here's my new theory on parenting. You split your money with the kid like down the middle so horrible and you give you give half your money to the kid and then you say anytime i buy you anything. You have to buy me something of this money. I guess it's just a waste. Because i want equal because so many parents grow up. And they're like oh man. I raised that kid. I spent so much money on the kid. They're not thankful this is a purely equitable trade of like. If i buy food you have to buy me like a chair that's equal. I think i'd rather raise the child to have gratitude good luck. Hey it's your baby watching recap. I was watching. A million dollar listing. La and new york. I'm sorry and the women's child. She was like asking her humans. Charlie realtors gassing her kid like go to the big sister and help me get this thing together and then she was like gimme forty dollars and i was like. That's fun and the woman i was like. Where did that come from. The you think you should have forty dollars a little chore and what. What would kids spend forty dollars on these days. Okay and i'm you know lego. Well.

"Don't you take a nap right now. While the men talk it's daytime scott. I actually could. Because what i really need. If i'm going to take a nap is my sleep around and this is true. Put it over my head and it just blocks the sound at blocks out the light and i'm able to fall asleep really quickly. Lauren your queen and you deserve a crown. Even if it's to sleep in because sleep crowns do a lot of work while you're getting that rest blackout light. Muffled sound provide gentle pressure over the top of the head which relaxes the body for sleeping. I would say in this. I mean i was thinking about it the other day for a long time and it took me about three hours to come up with this analogy. But it's a lot like an eye mask near plugs and awaited blanket blanket combined. It's right by combining that with all of the qualities that help you achieve proper uninterrupted sleep. One he don't worry if you're a site sleeper which often am because sleep crowns work well for all sleeping positions. You can put it on your head and it'll stay. Do you know why because the crowns are handmade in the united states. So they cost more than spend on a regular pillow most likely but the price is so worth it and these are not regular pillows sleep. Crown will just put your body at ease and help you relax so you can sleep all through the nah eight on interrupted but lauren. You have some personal experience with these. Is that not so. I do because i have to sleep. Crowns and i have one sleep chrome body pillow and everyone in my house from me to mike. Does mike walk into your bedroom. And they're they're on the bed and he thinks you're there and he has a full hour long conversation. Yes all the time. And it's so great so i don't have to participate. You sleep crowns for hubbub. Gone girl situation. My husband loves to sleep crowns. I love the sleep crowns. My dog loves them. And i have to steal them from her and she'll just go right onto the body pillow and just lay there. Well it's your property. You don't have to technically steal it. It's true but it's like a cloud like pillow so sobbed. It's unlike any other pillow. I honestly and it's very comfortable. The body pillow is amazing for snuggling up and getting really cozy in bed. Speaking of amazing sleep crowns a special deal for three listeners. Which is you people. If you're not afraid of.

"Yeah yeah i don't. I don't like it the lauren. When it's the other way like on the bachelorette reality recap when it's the bachelorette and she's or the bachelor and they're and they're saying like well i wanted to the bachelor arenas who has ken marino. Who i want someone who has a healthy lifestyle but when they're really just saying they wanna muscle man because it doesn't determine health but i'm saying that's what i'm saying. What if what if would they ever go for someone. Who's like kind of a beefy guy who actually is healthy and who's cholesterol down. And they're saying you know this ain't my friend because she she wasn't trying to lose weight to look a certain way or have a certain number trying to redistribute it. Yeah well because it's more that she was like. I haven't been eating while i haven't been you could be eating while doing those things in your body can look all different ways Her she has lost weight as a result and so it was one of those things where i know. That's not her intention. But i also want to compliment that because she looks great shield great before i never thought anything negative about her but she looks great. Maybe we should stop saying people look great. In general i know comes whole like weird topic. Well just us talking about it now. It's like you especially with people that you know you want to first of all. That's the only person you should ever say that to us. And when you know you were now. Even with that weekly qualify. It so much like not that you look bad before you know and it's like it's just we might as well just not say it just like note it in your in your head. You don't have to say anything can we. Can we say that someone is dressed. Well i think with her as a choice clothings. Yeah well unless you can't afford nice clothes. Oh my god. Certain point told them try to call them someone. I mean i said to her we were talking about it. I was like. I'm really impressed by all the work. You've put him because she was working. She's working out five days a and she's eating certain foods and she's making for okay. Sure good spending three days occurred even five days of weight and stuff and i was just like i'm so impressed by that commitment and then we were and i know it's not about how you look but you do look good rinco out of workout tape. Beatles look day days a week groves just that. I think that it's not negative to say someone looks good. I don't think someone who is working on themselves. Actively is going to be offended that you said you look good. No here's a. Here's a a a difference that there was somebody that i had not. I had somebody on a podcast. One time that. I had not seen in a very long time and i had lost a significant amount of weight since the last time. I'd seen this person and all this person could say to me. Was you look so good like literally for the amount of time that we were not talking on mike. This is all this person said to me. It was like this is. This is going to be insulting now. We're they phone you though they were not trying to bone more. You sure there were trying Like level of compliment. You can give also know the person really well. It's another thing to like. This is an old fundamental. I understand that it's okay to say that she knows where i'm calling from blah blah blah but. Yeah i'll never come on somebody online or something. Would you ever say to someone who's sexy muscles boy. I walked on the street and big. When you get those muscles mon yesterday. Total stranger those muscles. I would probably say sexy muscle boy to someone if they were actually multiple. Yes yeah. I know plenty of to hear that. Come i mean if they're yeah it's at least four. It's even tougher when someone does look good in their proud of it to say like. Hey you look great because then you know in the inevitable time when they don't in the future they're going gonna be thinking fuck. I looked so good before and now it looks like that's the thing too. It's like a with if you're going to be someone who's complimenting somebody's looks. You probably should just do it all the time every single day. Mp based on a change uc. I'm like i feel like okay. You know about my friends like they look pretty at all sizes and whatever and if they the i probably tell me look pretty one day and then they lose weight and i go. You look pretty. It's not really like connected to the same doctor lauren. Do me do me a favor and reach out to every single friend of yours and tell them they look good every single day from you for you should be able to. You should complement people all the time and say things like if they gain weight. Say you look good like this to all.

Three three apiece pounds. But i divided by three or should time it bay three no. It's three apples per pound. I think so this is we want to do but not by pounds. Your five hundred seventy you wanted to do it by kilos. Seventy apples get over. It got go loosen apples fifty less apples a day. I've been. I've been going to the gym every day for a new now. Thank you very slam on base. Your worth. I feel like i'm starting to look like myself again. Do you know what i mean. Yeah i really like it was. I had up intimate guys that you've been working because i i saw a picture you posted and i was like. I thought you looked very slim. Well thank you very much. I'm working on it. I want to get back to where i was before. I got so depressed years ago but it feels good around when we started the show. It feels weird talking to nice. Makes you sad it feels. It feels really good to be. I'm back to like going to bed at a decent hourly. I go to bed around ten and wake up around six or seven. And i'm liking the mornings again which i haven't in a long time and i gotta do such bad habits during the quarantine work out right in the morning or do you take a while before you do. I like to do it in the morning. I like to have my breakfast and my coffee. And then i sit around for like a half hour or whatever and then i go. Yeah and feels got. I came right from the. I needed a little extra time today. Because i wanted to shower before i joined. You guys thank you so much because you've been stinking so you could see my my stink line. That said you've been going to a gym. Yes there's a in my house with the post pandemic jim. It feels good because they it was a gym. That was taken over by new people. And they have rearranged thing there was a bloody coup. Next door was like fireworks. Were the ku. And they've rearranged everything so like i do cardio and cardio rooms now. Very spacious and very aryan feels extremely safe and it's actually way more is brighter. It's more there's more of a cross breeze it's great. They left one window open. They actually have a huge window that they that has to like shutter openings and shutters. No dear please. Don't what is this. the telephone plantation. Telephone you still say plantation shudders. Can't you probably. But i don't know i mean there's no other way to describe them when you're talking about a house while i'm not talking about a house talking about a gym about a house longer. Say master bedroom. We say primary bedroom. Oh that's good. I guess although. I always thought it was just like. You're the master over your children master of the house. Do but milwaukee guy that song the whole subtitle just be. I'm a funny guy. You're gonna enjoy listening to me sing. This song doesn't further anything so worst part I when i was. I was at my parents house yesterday. And i've found that like certain people in my family. I don't want to put him on blast. Even though there's through never listen we'll figure that really just base everyone's worth on their weight Yeah it's it's just a and you know. I lost weight as well recently. Going to the gym lot and it was like finally everything was cool for. This person in my family was like. Oh well you know you look great you know. I'm so impressed. And i know and then and then when they watch tv. They're always like well. That person lost a lot of weight. Then or this or this news anchor gained like forty pounds in the last two years like like. They're always judging by how up and down. Their weight is fluctuating. And it's and. I started to realize that when i when i became kind of a tune to it and so it's something that i'm just trying to drop from my life of. Oh yeah absolutely. You know what i mean just not even just like turning inwards. I mean like looking outwards of anyone gives a shit what you know. I've had fluctuating weight for years. And for me. I finally got to a point where i was like. You know it's very when you when you go through when your body goes through changes. It's very hard sometimes to that. And yeah puberty i. I've here and i'm looking for you. Thank you think it was weird that it took so long. No offense but it was like you know like the idea of loving yourself where you are is really challenging. Why did you think as we do the best bits lodi get. You're just you're just thinking things in now. Just willy nilly free willy. Nilly right well okay but yeah loving yourself where you are because i was it was easier for me to do it with other people than it was for me to do with myself right you know and to say like yeah like if you're if you're happy where you are that's good. The the most important thing is being happy where you are and for me. I realise while i was not happy in certain places and also and also wanting to be healthy too because i was not i was not. I wasn't taking care of myself. I just wasn't taking care myself. Yeah i nothing looked poorly before sachse. You're you're with that that compliment. Because i it's tough. I meant it as i meant it as just that. You know what. I mean like i. It's like i'm not saying you're better or worse or anything like that. And i have a friend who's recently been on the go weight loss journey but not even it's again not really focused on losing weight so much feeling healthy and just like cheating habits and stuff..

"That's the hell to obey this. That's a great song by the way. Why didn't they ever make any other song. Dame eight and one other major called put a lid on it. I have that album that they made more than one album. But i have their first album. Yeah i've got the one gets on. Yeah good stuff. Why are we something that know. He just wanted to say. I wanted to say this. But i you know. I was raised catholic and believed in heaven but it was always very comforting to me. Heavenly was always very weird to me. I couldn't i guess because a concept of hell is the problem. Yes that i could picture easily like if you if you were just like. Hey look there's you know we call it heaven but everyone when they die. I think i don't think you know being raised. It was like well. Only our special people go to heaven and everyone else burns. Holiday that have not committed adultery. I mean it's hard to hard concept because when you talk i don't think about. I don't think someone who had an affair is going to hell. But i'm saying i do think someone who's like a pedophile probably shouldn't be up in heaven. But what if they were in. It's weird like oh what are you doing here. He's a my point. It's what if it's not a reward like like have religions is heaven is a reward. Hell is a damnation. What if it was just like everyone's consciousness get sort of like uploaded in doing a the'real you know being and and just like it's it's it's a place that everyone just everyone who has ever been and will ever be just all share the movies hitler did you watch so yes. That is a great starting point for that conversation Flip on seoul hat. That was my sexual education from my parents so there is an after school special and my mother told me to watch it and then she left. The room was just explaining sex. And how this mine was and i'm sure i said this was in church when i was thirteen or something. The pastor said if your kid is twelve and you haven't had a sex talk with them. They already know about it and i went. You don't have any no or you. Like i could still use if you clarified i. I honestly still had no idea. I remember being thirteen. My friends saying the word bush and me going. And i could tell it was sexual and i was like i think he's trying to say that he's gonna go take the girl into the bushes and make our own dear. I mean i. We've talked about this dissect it a frog. Eleven days acting a frog. I should be able to know what sexy. If i don't wanna frog's pussy looks like when when the pastor said that was he being like kind of funny or was he being serious. I think he was trying to scare the parents to talk to their kids about sex at a younger age or something like that because by the time they were thirteen or whatever they were already corrupted and you needed to talk to them about sex in the context of marriage by like fucking. I wanna talk about it. I mean i also remember in church. How they they talked about iron maiden albums and how the mascot eddie was the corpse and how that will lead to heavy metal fans not wanting to have sex with corpses in and a rash of next year. It did sure. I mean we all thank god that period is over but it was of course. We're wild yes why old. What if your little girl grows up to be taller than you. Will you like that got. I have to look at her. That would be awful. I have wondered about that. She is already be sweet looking out at all. I mean i don't know if you're gonna be so she's looking at him like i'm little no. I'm not sure what i'm saying. How tall. he's six. Threes two six three. Yeah so i mean it could happen. I'm taller than my parents. I'm much taller than my mom. I'm like i was the my parents but that was not difficult to do right because they were too feta high. They were three apple. Like hello kitty what. That's how she is three apples. The smurfs Yeah i guess you gotta give it a queen. I smell a rat. she's five apples. Five apples and her weight is three apples. Five apples high and weigh three apple. She's got away at least five. Ns murph is no more than three apples tall. So yeah i want to know how many apple him so an ashes. A bunch of apples. How long but now it has and apple is seven centimeters. Select taller you paul. I'm five nine five nine in senator centimeters. Oh my gosh why. Why couldn't you look. How many inches is it. Apple one seventy five times seven so your twelve hundred twenty five percents off doing this. I know conversions understood. What was i was doing wrong. You're rosa my no. But one hundred seventy five apples.

"Like i got drew my leg lags learn. what about. Sorry ask you so many questions. I'm interested to ask you a second. But what what So like have you planned out conversations and at what ages. you're gonna have them your like with mike and stuff like that or have you talked about a lot of these issues or is it kind of thing where you're like. Oh i'm just gonna take it as it goes and we'll talk about it five minutes before it happened theory. Take it as it goes mentality with the entire situation I mean i think like one thing that's interesting. Is that just within our relationship like when certain things come up. I feel like related to parenting. We might have different opinions. And then it's like. Oh that's going to be a thing when we have to figure out that thing or whatever but like it's nothing huge not like religion or something but like there was some of that out where it's like. Hey which church. And i'm assuming you're not going to church with. I wasn't going to start now. I think is the vibe like fifteen. Probably a great time like no people think that that some people think that kids need a baseline of that of like to know what it is. I think i don't so even though they're not religious they go like i'll take you to church or whatever hers. Yeah that's what were you. I mean i went to church enough times as a kid that i feel like i do have that like baseline understanding of what churches and wanna go or not. Christ yes no. But but i don't i we. We both don't go to church so it would be really like a stretch to be like now. I gotta find a church. So i can teach this hit about what churches so they can say. They don't wanna go later. But i am open to discussing religion in god and all that kind of stuff. I think that's great. I just like when your daughter is three and says what happens when we died. You say nothing our brains just turn on. I'd probably say go to have really. I tell you the real truth. I don't believe. I don't believe that your brain turns off and you just are nothing. Then why are we burying people if their brains are okay. Do i do think you don't function as a person even more. But i think you have a soul. There's an energy that animates us. That cannot be destroyed once we die. Just how many holographic or six pound sounds holographic like a hologram. That's what she meant that. I think i think i kind of think. Just everything shuts down but But who knows. Yeah i mean. I think i think for a kid. I understand that people will teach their kids all different things. So there's plenty of talk. Probably know who teach their kids got to. There's no afterlife and there's no nothing happens and you go in the ground but i also think it's like a really big concept for a little kid to accept and that's seems kind of it's like if even if you grow to believe that i just think it's a lot to say to a little kid that like if if they know someone who died that they're just gone right. I think it's it's i guess. I would like to read an article or something written by atheists parents who who raise their kids to to believe. There's nothing when they die and how that has worked out for them or whatever you know. Religion in general is kind of comforting to everyone of all ages shrew from six to sixty nine. Yes but i'm of the opinion that in the afterlife. you know..

MLB will use experimental rule changes in 2021 minor-league season

"So think if. Somebody's baseball ideas. Major league baseball spring training. Well do it now. Almost into it's not quite as third weekend but yeah what they're doing is major league. Baseball's got every level of minor league baseball trying out rules. New rule changes that if they go well they might consider implementing it the major league level. So it's basically test time. Experimental rule changes so. Let's go through a few of them. Yes all of it though. Just just to preface it. Steve the backstory hairstyle. Nice is they want more balls in play. Okay how can they. How can they get more ball. That that's what i read today right and it's also increase the pace of play. That's always something that every league is concerned with given they're trying to attract the youth and the youth probably has less attention span than any generation in history but Let's go through some of the minor league ball rule changes and a couple in particular that we wanna talk about. But we'll go through them. Triple a ball. Which is where the ottawa. Lynx us to play you can have larger bases. They'll be eighteen square inches instead of the usual fifteen and so that means your distance between basis is a little shorter three inches this just in and they're hoping to increase stolen bases with that aa ball. They're going to ban extreme defensive shifts. The deal is you have to have at least four defenders on the infield and they have to be all of them with two feet on the infield dirt enable inaba step off. Rule pitchers are going to be cold for a balk of they. Don't completely disengage from the rubber before throwing to a base and that's designed to increase stolen bases as well you've also got an ball pitchers limited to pick off attempts per plate appearance and if the pitcher tries for a third pick off and the runner is safe. He'll be charged with a bach. Because they we all agree that that thr- over the first base after a while it's pretty damn tedious but the two changes that will be happening in low able will be automatic strike zone systems previously used in the atlantic league in the fall league and the league is also set to use additional timers to increase the pace of play as well including between the delivery pitches and those two big. Those two things could be really big if they work in minor league ball and eventually end up in major league. Paul and those to me are the two biggest ones to me. That's like is a massive change. Stephen baseball if you have a consistent computerized strike zone be no. You know what i mean. No doubt about it. I watch games last year. Where you know even the announcers right you. You'll see a game where where the party out noise calling that low on. You know what he's calling it a strike he's calling it a strike that low on but then i saw them where it was. Just so willy. Nilly you know what this guy was calling and batters get it. You know you're just you're strikes on a little bit these calling the low on us highway one. But i've seen them where it's just knows what they're doing and its way out of the frame that they put up there now. That's a huge change. That'll make a big difference a bit. That'll nothing with the speed of play. But you know. I think it's the most significant thing ever. Yeah yeah. Baseball needs to keep evolving. All sports. Do though

Is Tesla the Tip of the Bitcoin Iceberg?

"Tesla announcing today bought one and a half a billion dollars. The crypto currency tested saying it made the purchase for the ability to further diversify at maximize returns on our cash. The news sending tesla shares higher by more than a percent in bitcoin to its highest level on record so tonight we start the show with a simple question. Why why should tesla go up on this news. Why should bitcoin go up by fourteen and a half percent on this news guy. When you say well you've seen it before. We saw with micro strategies. I mean that was i think. One hundred and seventy five dollar stock prior to the offering that they did michael sale. Obviously being the ceo there. I think the stock closed over a thousand dollars today. So you know the why answer is because that's what the markets geeked up for and that's the way the market's been trading. We've seen a number of different security so to a certain extent makes and as long as bitcoin does. This grind higher those stocks will probably go up exponentially exponentially but maybe to a magnify of a one and a half or so times but it works on the downside as well. I have no idea what bitcoin is gonna do. But if we do that. Back and forth at twenty thousand that micro strategies now thousand dollars. It's probably a six hundred dollar stock. And maybe you see similar in tesla. My biggest problem is not the fact that these companies are doing it. i think. Publicly traded companies with board approvals and shareholder approval should be do anything they want in the confines of the law. It's sort of this game if occasion. You know it's elon. Musk putting on his twitter account and a bitcoin emoji. Whatever the young and say. And i'm not trying to get off my lawn. Okay boomer stuff. But i think there's i think there's a danger associated with that. He's the ceo of one of the ten largest companies in the world. I think with that heavy as ahead wears a crown. And i think he's got to think more of those things it can't just be willy nilly in my opinion. I think that's an interesting point to make but yuan. Musk had demonstrated his propensity for bitcoin. Back in december so arguably. He was driving up the price of bitcoin as the company was buying. It's not exactly you know helping his own company in terms of establishing that one and a half billion dollar purchase in terms of participating to the upside it's more so participating to the downside karen. When i heard this news i i reached out to you. Because you pro- the accounting of this and it's very interesting. Test is not necessarily a bitcoin proxy for in terms of the way it's accounting for this bitcoin purchase. No it isn't in the accounting of it says that you have to market at the price you bought it unless trades down then the market at that price. But i don't think shareholders are gonna care about that. i think they just like the idea of it I don't know when he bought it. It's sort of fascinating to me. But i do think it's actually a big deal when we talked not that long ago about the idea of investors finally feeling like they can be comfortable having some exposure to cryptocurrencies to bitcoin. That was sort of a big move it. I and there's a lot to go in that. I think we were at the very beginning of that here. S and p five hundred companies with the cash on their balance sheets contemplating using some of that to buy bitcoin. He also mentioned potentially gold and gold. Etf's in the tesla released. But that's kind of amazing to me as well so we haven't even seen yet the institutional buying come through at all i don't know if every s and p five hundred. Cfo's going to want to do this. They've been pretty conservative for a pretty long time. Buying gold wouldn't have seen that crazy. And yet i don't think very many of them did it so i mean i'm long so i'm glad it's trading up it. I do think what could go wrong from here. I don't know maybe a tad frost

You thought herd immunity would save us? Maybe not

"We're talking about pandemics norman one of the phrases that was bandied about a lot especially at the beginning was the idea of herd immunity that we get to a stage where the virus con spread willy nilly through the community anymore because enough people have had it that it doesn't spread as rapidly anymore and the theoretical threshold for that based on how much a single person with covid sort of tends to spread to was about sixty seventy percent. So what do we know about places in the world where there has been a lot of cover transmission whether we're reaching this community threshold and it's actually making a difference. Well funny you should say that because a couple of days ago in the lancet published a report from brazil which is actually quite disturbing. So the reported from a city in brazil called monas- who are monogamous. Which is in the amazon northwest brazil. I think it is and they had done a study of blood. Donors indicated four seventy. Six percent of the population had been affected with sars cov to by october of last year. And therefore you would assume with fat pie attack rates. You've got herod immunity which is above sixty as you said between sixteen seventy percent except that happened in january in other words just this month between the first of january in january nineteenth compared to december first two thousand nine hundred they had three thousand four hundred thirty one hospital admissions for sars coffee to for covid nineteen compared to five hundred and fifty two in the first twenty days for three weeks of december right. So they've had a big spike last year. It's dropped off. And now the saying a big spike again now. This and hospitalizations had remained low for about seven months. And you've just seen this spike in january and The question is what's going on here. So you could have overestimated the attack rate and the haired immunity ratio so possible that it's a high estimate in terms of when people were immune but even their low estimates based on perhaps errors in their assumptions of Wayne people what antibody response. It's still about fifty two percent as their low estimate there and that should still can fair some degree of immunity. But they do say that when you compare. The blood donors to average population. There was no difference in the university seems to be quite a representative sample of the general community. So they assume but seventy six percent is accurate so then they go onto looking at whether or not. There's been a waning of antibodies. During that time that could be other response but they showed that you and british healthcare workers reinfection was rare up to about six months after the primary infection. It could be due to variance because we've talked a lot on kron cast by the variance in brazil and they've really got to three lineages of variants in brazil which could be both more virulent and indeed war contagious. So the worry here is that we don't really know why they've had a resurgence in a community that should be pretty immune and it's not that these people are getting a model infection the second time around either because the measure that they looking at his hospitalization so presumably people quite sick. Yes and there is growing evidence that some some of these variants are were virulence. Although that's that's not been confirmed in any pure view jr journal. In fact one thing i need to say. But this paper is that it's in the lancet. And therefore it has gone undergone some degree of peer review rather than some of the other pre publication papers. We sometimes court from. So what are we. Take away from this. It seems like a pretty scary fact is is heard immunity. A false goal. Do we know whether vaccination is going to have a long long lasting immunity associated with it like this kind of worrying. It is kind of wearing. The good news is that consistent evidence from immunization at least with the astro vaccine and the fis vaccine even though the astro vaccine may be less efficacious at preventing all disease is that they do seem to generate an immune response. That's bigger and deeper than you get from alive infection which is very unusual. 'cause usually live infections. Give you a better degree of immunity particularly with influenza. But it seems to be contradicted in this. So it's likely that vaccination gives you a better immune response that lasts longer. But you'd have to say that from the study you don't have to watch pretty closely whether or not immunity wayne's faster are your vulnerable to variants more than people have thoughts. I mean it's it's mystery could be wrong but it's a it's a real warning sign.

How to Secure Your Financial Future Starting Today

"I wanna thank you so much for doing. This is some happy to be here. I would imagine that before. You are able to build a plan for your money much like a plan for anything else in your life that you. I have to do an honest assessment of where you are. So what are the questions you need to be asking yourself to get started. One of the first things that we tell people to do is that you have to do a look back so you have to go and look back at your finances three months so take a look at where you've been spending look at where your money is going. Heart of having a better relationship with your money is being like okay. Do i really want to be spending six hundred dollars on. Do i want to be making target richer. It's really about prioritization of your cash rather than philly have to be on a diet right. it's about prioritization. Do you want to spend that money towards a home or a vacation or some kind of an asset versus just kind of spending it willy. Nilly on all kinds of things that you might not even remember the next month. Well let me say as someone who in general is not a big spender but has been guilty of exactly that sometimes the hopes and dreams seem so far flung right what it would take for me to get from here to owning a home feels like it has so far that it feels like there. A creature comforts. I can give myself between here and there. That are much more attainable. But as you were saying we'll put me behind in my ultimate which is one of the reasons you always should be assessing. I would say do it every six months. What is the next financial milestone that she wants to reaching your life. Whether that's i want to improve my credit score because it's not about new. Want to really improve your credit score. What are you really want is. Maybe it's a better house. You wanna qualify for a loan. You want a better credit card you want to refinance your student loans. It's not that one. Step that steps going to get you to where you want to go. See you've got the goal you've got to look back. The other thing in this is really interesting. And i have a whole workshop call. Marie kondo your finances. It is about actually organizing how many people can off the top of their head. Tell me what their interest rates are on their credit cards in their loans. What are their balances. All the accounts that they have or that they know their net worth most people. Don't know that stuff and it's not complicated but you actually have to like. Oh let me go. Pool that banks day event. Oh that's right. I had that retirement account over there. That i never rolled over. And that's the organization. Part is really key

Klobuchar worried about data security for Amazon Halo

"Talk about iot device. Privacy's specifically the senate or rather. Amy klobuchar is really wondering after reading review of amazon's tracker what the department of health and human services plans to do to ensure privacy of people's health data so club. Hr read the amazon review. Said how it takes so much personal information like naked pictures of my body which it does you can delete them it's optional. You can delete the photos from the device. Those photos amazon gives you the option of sending them to the cloud so they don't automatically go there so that's all really important but kluber chart points out in the letter that seventy nine percent of health apps do share people's data and people may not be aware of that that was a study from the british medical journal in twenty nineteen. And so she's asking the department of health and human services for questions basically. She's saying. Hey are you paying attention to this. What are what actions do y'all take to safeguard users private health information. Do you have the authority at actually do any of this. And what else do we need to give the department of health and human services like what regulatory powers we need to give so they can strengthen privacy and security protections for this kind of data and she's asking for all of the information that h h has to make sure devices like halo aren't like willy nilly grabbing your data and share in it in ways like the might be uncomfortable were even detrimental to one's health and i say thank you.

The Google Photos Free-For-All Is Over

"So the free ride is over. Google has announced it will end its unlimited photos storage on june first of next year thereafter imposing a new fifteen gigabyte cap before they ask you to pay up for more storage but before you freak out photos and documents uploaded before that date june first of twenty twenty one will not count against the cap quoting the verge. All photos and documents uploaded before june. I will not count against that. Fifteen gigabyte cap. So you have plenty of time to decide whether to continue using google photos or switching to another cloud storage provider for your photos. Only photos uploaded after june. I will begin counting against the cap who already counts original quality photo uploads against a storage capping google photos however taking away unlimited backup for high quality photos and video which are automatically compressed for more efficient storage also takes away one of these services biggest selling points. It was the photo service where you just didn't have to worry about how much storage you had as a side note pixel owners will still be able to upload high quality not original photos for free after june first without those images counting against their cap. It's not as good as the pixels original deal of getting unlimited original quality. But it's a small bonus for the few people who buy google devices. Google points out that it offers more free storage than others you get fifteen gigabytes instead of the poultry five gigabytes that apple's icloud gives you and it also claims that eighty percent of google photos users won't hit that fifteen gigabyte cap for at least three years and quote by the way even though this photo thing is getting all the headlines. It's also worth noting that this is a sort of new storage policy for google across the board quoting manageable going forward. Google says that. If you don't check in on your google drive files every now and then. It may delete them. Google frames this change as a way to tidy up abandoned digital detritus. Perhaps leftover from long forgotten accounts. Which may be sure or alternatively it may be that a google user simply stored some valuable files away for a while like when might with physical documents and a fireproof safe and simply hasn't peaked at them in a few years quote. We're introducing new policies for consumer accounts. That are either inactive or over their storage across g mail. Drive including google docs sheets slides drawings forums and chambord files and or photos to better align with common practices across the industry. Explains google a blog post announcing the change your inactive in one or more of these services for two years twenty four months who will delete the content in the products in which you're inactive and quote in other words. School at present has no plans to. Just start deleting your stuff. Willy nilly however it's letting you know that. Come june. i twenty twenty one. The clock is ticking and quote but back to the free for all for photos ending. That's what's gotten everyone all riled up overnight which makes sense because this sort of touches all of our buttons when it comes to google right something. Something never rely on. Google services to be consistent forever or to even exist for more than half a decade. Google photos has been free for almost exactly five years by the way but also this strikes to the heart of the whole antitrust argument with which google and other big tech companies are being tarred quoting casey newton. Google earned eleven. Point two billion dollars in profits last quarter and uses all your uploaded photos to train its machine learning algorithms which offers it other enormous competitive benefits also seems notable that free. Google photo storage helped to drive tons of startups out of this market. Ever picks loom ever picture life. Now that they're gone. And google is tired of losing money on photos the revenue switch flips and quote and quoting from a widely read piece by willa ramos in one zero quote. It's a galling bayton switch and an object lesson anticompetitive behaviour by a big tech firm. The unlimited free storage offer was arguably. Google photos is top selling point one that few. If any competing providers could match the company was likely willing to lose money on its service in exchange for the photos value in training. It's ai systems and for the value of keeping users in its broader software ecosystem. What was once a hotly competitive and innovative space now largely controlled by google and a few other giants such as apple and this points to another set of losers albeit nebulous. One everyone who might have benefited from the new ideas and fresh features that were never developed because startups didn't stand a chance against google. It would be easy to reach for a sardonic. Don't be evil reference here. But what google is doing and why it matters isn't best understood in moral terms at every step it was just doing what successful companies do. It offered a great product for free because it could afford to it. Crushed competitors largely by virtue of being the best option on the market. And now it's raising prices because the free storage offer has served its purpose instead. This move is best understood from the standpoint of competition and antitrust it's google's vast size and scope the way it's products in different markets compliment and cross subsidize each other that gave it unmatchable advantages over smaller rivals. In retrospect the free storage offer looks a lot like predatory pricing whether that was google's intent or not but the bigger picture is that google like other dominant platforms. Has its hand in. So many different mutually reinforcing lines of business that it will always be incentivized to leverage them. In anti-competitive ways from certain standpoint the standpoint of maximizing profit and shareholder value. It would be foolish not to end quote. But i will give you this interesting counterpoint. From dare obasanjo who actually engage directly with will on twitter about his piece quote. This is why break. Big tech is sloganeering without a coherent policy. What break-up action would be recommended in. This instance should google photos be spun out of google. Meaning they'd have to charge for it from the jump or that. Google build new free products anymore. The article title is literally that this case is proof and antitrust remedy is needed. I'm simply asking how so google photos as a lost leader. These are common business practices. Mcdonald's profit comes from soda. Not burger's what antitrust regulation would be useful here. Lots of commentary on antitrust and big tech is really. I mad at this company and want them to be punished. There is no government intervention that will cause a for profit company to give you free unlimited storage forever and quote

The Empty House

"Certain houses, like certain person's managed somehow to Proclaim it once their character for evil in the case of the latter. No particular feature need betray them. They may boast and open countenance and ingenuous smile. Yes, a little of their company leaves the unalterable conviction that there is something radically a mess with there being that they are evil willy-nilly they seem to communicate in an atmosphere of secret and wicked thoughts which makes those in their immediate neighborhood shrink from them as from a thing has eased. and perhaps with houses the same Principle as operative and it is the aroma of evil Deeds committed under a particular roof long after the actual dose of passed away that makes the gooseflesh come and the hair rise something of the original Passion of the evildoer and of the horror of felt by his victim enters the heart of the innocent Watcher home and he becomes suddenly conscious of tingling nerves creeping skin and a chilling of the blood his terror-stricken without apparent cause There was manifestly nothing in the external appearance of this particular house to Bear out the tales of the horror that was said to rain within it was neither lonely nor unkempt stood crowded into a corner of the square and looked exactly like the houses on either side of it. It had same number of windows. It's neighbors the same balcony overlooking the gardens off the same white steps leading up to the heavy black front door. And in the rear there was the same narrow strip of green with neat box borders running up to the wall that divided it from the back of the adjoining houses. Apparently to the number of Chimney pots on the roof was the same the breadth and angle of the eaves and even the height of the dirty area railings month and yet in this house and the square seen precisely similar to its fifty ugly neighbors was as a matter of fact entirely different horribly different wearing latest marked invisible difference is impossible to say it cannot be ascribed holy to the imagination because persons who would spend some time in the house knowing nothing of the facts that declawed positively that certain rooms were so disagreeable. They would rather die than enter them again and that the atmosphere of the whole house produced in them symptoms of a genuine Terror while a series of innocent tenants who are trying to live in it and being forced to be camp at the shortest possible notice was indeed little less than a scandal in the town. One short has arrived to pay a weekend visit his aunt Julia and her little house on the seafront at the other end of the town. He found her charge to the brim with mystery and excitement. He had only received a telegram that morning and he had come anticipating boredom. But the moment he touched her hand and kissed at apple skin wrinkled cheek. He caught the first wave of electrical condition the impression deepened when he learned that there were to be no other visitors and that he had been telegraphed for with a very special object something with the wind and the something would doubtless bear fruit for this elderly spinster armed with a Mania for psychical research had brains as well as willpower and by hook or by crook. She usually managed to accomplish ends. The Revelation was made soon after T. When she cycled close up to him as they paced slowly along the seafront in the dusk. I've got the keys she announced in the deluge. To get half awesome voice got them till Monday the keys of the bathing machine or he asked innocently looking from the seat of the Town. Nothing brought her so quickly to the whole point is feigning stupidity. Neither. He whispered. I've got the keys of the haunted house in the square and I'm going there tonight shorthouse just conscious of the slightest possible Tremor down his back. He dropped his teasing tone something in her voice and manner thrilled him. She was in Earnest, but you can't go alone. He began that's why he lied for years. He said with decision. He turned to look at her the ugly lined enigmatic. Her face was the live with excitement. That was the glow of genuine enthusiasm rounded like a halo song is Shawn he caught another wave her excitement and the second Tremor more Market than the first accompanied it. Thanks, and Julie said politely thanks. Awfully. I shouldn't dad go quite alone. She went on raising her voice. But with you I should enjoy it immensely. You were afraid of nothing. I know God. Thanks so much. He said again is anything like this happen a great deal has happened. She whispered though. It's been most cleverly hushed up three tenants have come and gone in the last few months. And the house is set to be empty for good. Now in spite of himself short house became interested. His aren't was so very much in Earnest. The house is very old indeed to end off and the story and unpleasant one dates a long way back. It has to do with a murder committed by a journalist a woman who had some affair with a servant in the house one night. You managed to create himself in the cellar and when everyone was asleep, he crept upstairs to the servants quarters chased the girl down to the next Landing before anyone could come to the rescue through her birth. Any over the banisters into the hole below and the stableman the court I believe and hang for murder, but it all happened a century ago and have not been able to get more details of the story.

Police chief’s decision to quit may have just saved Seattle from itself

"Of their? Why did she resigned so abruptly? So chief Carmen best made history, becoming the first black female police chief in Seattle, and this was what the community wanted. She was someone who spent almost three decades as a police officer. Here. She was celebrated. But obviously there were calls to defund the police. The Seattle City Council decided tow lean into what the activists wanted. And they decided to adopt this policy of defunding by 50%. Now, they quickly realised they couldn't actually defund by 50% because we have AH, Union and you can't just cut all of that. Willy nilly. So they decided, however, to make some significant cuts that would have fired not just 100 police officers within the next few weeks, but also they've made the move. To slash her salary, but not just common best salary by by 40%. But they also cut the salary of all of her command staff. Now they ended up walking back some of the numbers, but she came back and she said, Look, Number one. This was personal. This felt vindictive, and I'm not going to allow that. This was disrespectful, but number two The irony in all of this over the last year and 1/2 we've been spending a lot of time and energy. In fact, the council gave $1.6 million to recruit new police officers of color and under the policy, we would have to fire those 100 officers are but newest hires. They're primarily officers of color. We tried to diversify this this police force and you're now telling us the fire all the black officers. We just hired I'm not going to do that. And she said, Yeah, I'm done. I'm stepping about and I think in it, I think she might have just saved the city of Seattle. We'll see where this ends up going. But she meant a lot to the city. And it truly embarrassed the council that up Until this point, it kind of felt like they were not capable of embarrassment. Right. But, you know, I really feel like she is a sincere woman, a sincere person. She loves that city and she didn't feel like she could keep it safe with the budget cuts and taking Was it a significant amount of money they're going to take from her paycheck. Yeah, they're so originally was going to be 100,000. I think the end result was like 40,000. It wasn't about the money and it wasn't about the protester. She flatly said. I will not fire the cops. I just worked my tail off to recruit. I'm not going to fire them and that she should be commended. That's what that is a heroic stand to take because she really highlighted the absurdity of this all. And when does her resignation take places it immediate Nina. It's September 2nd or third time She went 1/2 weeks. And do they have anybody on board or on in term? So they've got an interim. But the mayor said she's not going to even start the process of looking for a new police chief because she doesn't know number one what the job actually entails, because this council won't be clear as to what they want the job entail and number two, she flatly said. Who would want to take this job? Who would want to work here at the police chief, and she's 100% right? Yeah, she's on to something. There. She is a 1,000,000,000

"I'm Jason. Howell. And I'm Ron Richards. And I'm a very flustered, Florence I on today's. Days in it. Street. They're not only in the android world, but just like in life. It has been a three time and honestly I do feel like after a couple of weeks of like slow Android News, all of a sudden, the past two days like I could not keep the plates spinning. I, was like Whoa and this and this. and. It's not because tomorrow. Me and James Nafta to get up early. Wait this way me and Jason have to get up early. It's going to be regular time for you. There's a Samsung, event. Yeah. It's GonNa be nuts like seven am and mind you like as I've said, many times at this point, he probably sick appearing me say my podcast studio station is in our bedroom. So it's basically like kicking failure, the roof before had so that I can make sure that I'm up at ready for seven. Am Call to follow Samsung News which there's going to be a lot. So I'm definitely looking forward to, but what a week from Samsung to Pixel, which we'll talk about later. This is a big. I mean. We've got so much phone news happening right now. It's kind of ridiculous. I mean, it's really weird after what has been a quiet summer like it is just like it went from zero to sixty late yesterday after job total. Good. which is Kinda normal riot. Usually, it seems like about the time of the the note event is win this next phase of the phone season kicks in, and then at this point, we don't hear from Google until like Tober, but this time that's different. Anyway, we're. We're spoiling the the the ending here or at least the middle. Before, we get there. We've got some news to talk about taking us to the news. please. We have a week purchased doesn't even violence? Say it. I don't blame them at all. I, don't blame me at all burke. Let's get into the news like we said it's been head-spinning these past couple of days. We'll get to the pixel stuff in the hardware blocks of stay tuned. We haven't forgotten about that but I off. One of the hotly anticipated things all summer in the world of android. In fact, a couple of weeks ago. When Dave Burke from android. From Google and Android was on the show, he teased that nearby share file sharing aspect of android would be rolling out soon, and soon is today how about that? So, basically, if you're familiar with IOS airdrop this airdrop for android. It's file share between ANDROID devices. You can share files, images, links, etc. Through fast transfer process. You can select your visibility determine who can see you and share with WHO and who can't It does work off line, which is fascinating. Transfers by either Bluetooth, Bluetooth L. E. Web RTC, or peer to peer Wifi, whichever is fast as and you can check out hands on android episode twenty, one for deep dive into the new feature, which I'm sure we'll get you as Jason goes deep into file sharing with nearby sharing. Jason. What is your experience in nearby sharing? Is it? What is it living up to the hype? I. Think, Yeah. I think in in my experience with it and try and I should I should stay that really I've only used it around the time when I was creating the hands on android episode. So I haven't found myself in a situation since then or like I needed to use nearby sharing to send a file to myself and I certainly haven't found myself in a situation where I'm sharing directly like with my wife like quite frankly we're not going anywhere. So we're just here. Why, don't you just send her files Willy Nilly because think about it. That can be fun. We have nothing going on right now, and you know your everyone's stuck at home and you know. Why not send her random files, sent her gifts in memes through the nearby share and. Response like I. think that's a good idea. I'll ask her to set it up because it would be weird if I just set it up and started dropping are things that suddenly appeared out of nowhere. It up and it'll be it'll be a nice way to kind of lighten the load on weeks such as this one but. was going to say about nearby sharing is in my time playing with it. For that episode hands on Android I tested transferring a good amount of files, large files, small files, and yet it works pretty seamlessly. Just kind have to do the work in advance of setting it up to say, Hey, I, trust this person's device, and then if you happen to have your device near near an that person's device at any given point, you can get a little notification. Notification. That says, Hey. So and so's nearby and it makes it really easy for you just tap and share directly to them because you've all you both already kind of open those gates to say, yes, this is possible.

Professor Mohammad Fadel Returns to Discuss the Current Political Climate

"BOCOM professor frontal a really happy to have you on I know you've been on the show in the past prior to when I joined when we had different co host, but I did over the weekend a that episode I think he was episode thirty, three, thirty, four from summer, two thousand sixteen, and I listened to it just to catch up and hear a little about Your your background and your points of view. Is a super interesting. kind of got me thinking of of all the craziness that that's happened. Since two thousand sixteen, right life has been crazy in general since maybe nine eleven you could say but We've kicked it into high gear since the trump election, and now of course everything that's going going on with the virus of macro level. But It's like I said it's been crazy year. And you explain the rise of trump through economics, and that really that really resonated with me. You were talking about how things have gotten global and whatnot, and because there's more supply and demand you talked about more more more supply of workers may be flat or left Earth's or lower demand of of of jobs in the capital, potentially for the for the lower class. things have only gotten worse right so. Do you see. Do you see that that pattern continuing and potentially leading to more and more extremism or are you? Are you hopeful? Well I mean. covid changed a lot of things. So I mean. So let me back up I. Guess Trump from the beginning. Began to charge reorient trade policies began posing lots of openly protectionist measures. And then Cova conflict celebrated that. And layer on top of that a certain kind of anti Chinese Stanton. That Kobe has reinforced. That was already pre existing. and. So now. Yeah was situation where there's a kind of broad consensus among the political class that something has to be done about China. Now it's not clear what that will mean. In terms of global trade, because the global trading system is highly dependent on Chinese purchase patient, but as you, you know just in the last few months atop has been ratcheting up the pressure on China Army Right now trae closing council it's. Posing greater greater sanctions on Chinese tech firms, etc, odds greater confrontations with China in the in the South China Sea among other things. and then coverted has caused a lot of people that make me. We need to bring back a lot of production of things back to the United States. Now I don't know how realistic that. Ambition is particularly if it's more than a few products that might be viewed as critical in the public health emergency. but the General Point that I made twenty sixteen I think about global economics remains the case today. That is of great benefit in the aggregate to the United States. Particularly United States but at the same time there are a lot of losers from globalization The trump response to bat has been to try to engage protectionism. In a in a certain sense kind of change, the terms of trade in a way that slanted the United States by imposing tariffs on trading partners now United States can get away without just an extent because the united. States has such a leading role in the global economy, no country. Wants to be excluded from the US market. So they are. Willing to go along, and there's very limited steps that they can take in the short term. To retaliate against the US, the problem is. Over the medium to long term. States wants to take that approach to global trade. It's likely that it's going to produce. Reactions, right! You might see a rise of different kind of trading bloc centered around China for example centered around Europe right in which other countries enter into our French trading relationships with each other. To protect themselves in the United States. You also see this going on with the role of the dollar. Nice, as has been very aggressive in using the role of the dollar as the world's reserve currency to impose sanctions, Willy Nilly, all over all over the world thereby effectively. Telling the rest of the world that if you want to trade with us, you can have to adopt our sanctions regimes. and so even places like the EU or trying to build out. Heyman systems that can bypass the dollar right so they can escape the kind of US stranglehold on the global, market! So our costs while twice as there are costs involved to trying to either export you use US economic our to impose its will in terms of geopolitics with the dollar or with Tariffs Charles. Trade. In order to protect US workers. There's a much easier route. which I would like to see A. Dog! And it's possible it could happen. If there's a large enough democratic featuring, remember namely we preserve the gains of the post. World War Two liberalize trading system, but combine it with a much higher level of taxation. That would allow the government to redistribute the gains from International Trade and compensate the losers. What we've had going on the United States since the Reagan Revolution is a double whammy to the working class in that. Global. Association has undermined security jobs on the one hand and I guess conservative. mark pro-market policies domestically destroyed the the welfare state internally. Right. And so. Yeah, you have cheap TV's. Education is unbelievably expensive. Helped expensive. Real estate is on XP. Unbelievably expensive right. So. The most fundamental goods are outside the reach of the average worker, even even professionals right. consumption goes are really cheap an audit it feels like the current administration is doing if you look at the two by two of of what you just laid out right like less less fairness, and Lester is redistribution, more fans, smartest redistribution, globalization versus nationalism that the current administration is going towards nationalism without fairness, and you want to go towards globalization, which is good for everybody in the long run plus Mauri, distribution and fairness. Strategy of trump and Publican party is to. Push back against globalization where the United States does not have apparently advantage by using tariffs. Right. And then imposing. Her fragile trading charms on its trading partners where it does. And then instead of we distribute Gel redistributionist policy to to. Income! WHAT THEY WANNA do is used tariffs to protect its France.

A Funny Byproduct Of Having To Buy Fewer Products

"About our fancy frame TV. Over the last couple of weeks on the PODCAST and I guess also on the blog. If you've seen our last couple blog post, we've been talking about how we've been pleasantly surprised that the furniture we moved down here for the most part fit very well and naturally into our new home. Yeah, it is kind of amazing to say. We showed a bunch of stuff in the. The pod I mean we did have measurements for rooms, and we did have an idea of what we're going to wear, so we weren't just like willy. Nilly putting a bunch of things in the pod, but we knew as we loaded the pod like there is going to be a margin for error I'm sure we'll get there and something won't work the way we thought it. It would because there's really nothing like being in a space and moving furniture around like you can try to do that in your head. When you're not in the space, it's really hard to land on the right. You Know Group of objects in the right. Lay Out I think anytime. We've moved houses. There's been this process where like some of your old furniture doesn't fit in. In the new house, for whatever reason like maybe it's because of the scale of the peace or the exact dimensions, or even a style, but you know you have these pieces that just don't land and work I think we expected that issue with at least some of the things that we brought down, but again we're grateful. Most everything has pretty much worked as it is. Is Yeah were even things John was like I. don't even know why we're bringing this. And then we brought it, and like played a very important role like remember. We talked about those bookcases that we're using in the kitchen and they have like so much storage. They're basically like extending our cabinets using as a pantry fought to leave those in richmond or sell them in Richmond. Richmond because I didn't think we had a place for them. And Sherry was right and the table in the kitchen. There's like a round white table that was like a game table in our old house in the bonus room and John was like I can't picture for people being able to eat here. I can't picture it fitting in the kitchen and it like probably won't live. Live there forever, but it is so good for now and if it hadn't made the POD, we'd be in trouble once again. Sherry was right so I think it's been nice because we didn't have this kind of like panic buying mode when we got here. We're like we don't have a kitchen table shot for one real quick and pretty much the only things that we have. Have had to buy at least the big furniture pieces we've had to buy have been things we knew we'd have to get because we didn't bring them with us. Like our beds like we had to get an outdoor dining table and other side note as we were packing the dining table with outdoor dining table in Richmond, and it was routed in the legs fell off. So we basically bought the same sized table. It was a different finish in a different color, and it works perfectly like I'm actually really glad that one did fall apart in Richmond. Has that one was like seven years old and disbar gone, and even informed the decision like that one was would, and it was rotten, so we got a metal and resin one. That will not, so you know some things were just dumb. Luck. Something's were strategy, but whatever it is that led us to where we are. We both kind of expected to land me like okay so now we need a rug dresser aside table six lamps five. Cheers. But you know what I'm saying I thought we'd land and have this list of like huge furniture items we needed, and it's like all we really needed. Where the things we knew we needed off the bat like beds. Yeah I, think that's the point here is that we've been grateful that we haven't had to go on like this sudden shopping spree and the other thing I wanted. Wanted to point out that was interesting. As we are shopping for one of the other items. We knew we'd have to get which has been window coverings, because as you have probably seen on instagram. We've been using packing blankets. It's very swanky at Casa Peter Sick. Let me tell you packing blankets. They disintegrate into like a black soot, and it's all over your window sills, it's. It's all over your floors, but we have started to receive some of the curtains that we bought, and it highlighted something interesting about downsizing and going to a smaller house that I think we consciously have known, but this particular purchase was like a good case study to help us quantify one of the benefits of living in a smaller space and furnishing a smaller space I think. Think things that are more obvious to everyone is like Oh to clean and less to pay to heat and cool like we said that over and over again. It's like less maintenance if I only have one bathroom I, worry less about maintaining four showers, enforcing them leaking and all that stuff, but I think this is one of those things where it's like when we say it. But it's just a thing we consciously knew, but then it was really interesting to see the actual numbers I. Actually don't know all the numbers. John is going to reveal them to me. Yeah, so I actually went back and tallied how many curtain panels and blinds we had to buy for our Richmond House, which as you probably heard? Her say is more than twice the size of the house. We are now living in Florida. So obviously had more windows to cover. Yeah, I can't wait to hear the numbers. John was like their staggering. I was staggered, so keep in mind. We didn't have curtains on every window so like not in the kitchens, bathrooms or anything like that and having a dining room, either yes, so this is not representative all the windows, so we had actually more blinds, and we had curtains, but we had twenty four curtain panels in Richmond. House K Twenty four, and I should point out. Out In recent months before we left, we were starting to like double up. Some of the curtain panels to make them look thicker right. Some have always been double in our living room. That was four panels instead of to on that big picture window in our office. We had a big picture window with four pounds instead of two. Did you just count those to? Double them because I couldn't remember what was doubled, so the twenty four number is probably closer to like thirty or thirty two. Yeah, that's what I would guess. We also have thirty blinds throughout. The houses were also. Roughly sixty two different window coverings. That Jack's yeah I mean. It was a lot I. Remember hanging those. It took us forever and I remember buying them, and it was so much money. I remember the blinds. We were like Oh. Do we need lines? Backpedal real quick and when we got home depot and saw the total. Yes, so again thirty ish curtain panels thirty blinds. Are you ready for the Florida numbers? I can't wait in Florida instead of thirty. We only need eight curtain panels, eight curtain panels versus thirty well, there's the saving instead of thirty blinds. We need five blinds. Five lines is my favorite and. And we're being very specific about these lines, guys. No one has researched blinds more than us. We will share what we pick when it arrives and we're sure we like it I. Don't want to jinx it. Hence all the packing blankets because we're taking our time and I also just for fun also looked at the number of curtain panels in blinds that. That we had to buy for the Beach House and the duplex. That's going to be like a million. A million I mean feel like we're. It's going to be close because it was three kids nine bathrooms like it was six seven, eight nine hundred ten bedrooms like it's a lot of juices well, and it was also fifty two curtain panels O and And Forty two blinds, no regrets right. We're glad we had curtains and blinds, but it sure is nice. When what did you say it's eight and five here in Florida compared to when we tally all of those previous homes that we sold eighty two curtain panels and seventy two blinds is so insane. Yes, and we ironed in hand
