Willie Geist: Trump Was Hustled by a 24-Year Old White Supremacist

"Here's what Willie geist said this morning, and I'm sorry, but I mean, it won't go away and people are emailing me about it and you're calling and you're texting, so we might as well confront this. Here's what Willie guy said this morning on MSNBC and morning Joe about Trump's dinner at Mar-a-Lago with Kanye and the supremacist guy. By the way, we should point out as the story has developed over a couple of days. Donald Trump got totally hustled by this guy. He showed up at the dinner with Kanye West. He wanted the attention of having his name out there. He got that. And now he's condemning Donald Trump and said he's abandoned the base. He's not our guy anymore. So Donald Trump got totally hustled by a 24 year old white supremacist and Holocaust denier. Now, again, I don't know if that's true or not. Maybe it is, maybe it's not. I don't trust anything that comes from morning Joe, do you? But let's just suppose that it's true. This colleague of mine calls me this morning. She says, Mike, admit it to me. Tell me the truth. Don't you really kind of wish Trump would fade off into the sunset? Don't you wish he'd kind of go away? Don't you like Ron DeSantis or somebody else? Because they're going to go nuts if he gets the nomination again. And if he runs and if he wins, they're going to go out of their minds. And I said to her, don't you realize that's what they want? They want you to think that.

Ye, Fuentes Dinner With Trump Was Set up by Milo Yiannopoulos

"Had a long conversation with a colleague of mine this morning that I want to share with you. I had just seen a clip of morning Joe Joe Scarborough and Mika. They're all mortified at Trump having dinner with Kanye and Nick Fuentes, the Hispanic supremacist. They call him a white supremacist, but he's Hispanic. He's the Hispanic guy, right? But I don't know. I don't know anything about the guy. I don't think much about Kanye. Kanye's a big rap artist, right? Married to Kim Kardashian, now they're divorced? He's Friends with Trump. I guess the latest is the dinner was a setup. They're claiming that Kanye and this Nick guy with help from Milo yiannopoulos sort of ambushed Trump. They set him up, they wanted it to look bad for him, and he fell for it. I think it was Willie geist this morning on morning Joe, who said Trump fell for. He was scammed. That a whole thing was a setup. They wanted to attack him because they think he's not, I don't know, doing enough for the base or he's letting the base down. It's like Ann coulter complaining about Trump, you know, not doing enough at the border. I mean, a lot of these people are people who are just, they crave the limelight, and they're provocateurs, and they don't care how they're in the media as long as they're getting covered. They're with Trump. They're not with Trump. One day their fans, they write books about them, then they turn on him.

John Zmirak: America Is Patty Hearst

"Talk about the piece that you wrote behind you. People who watch this on video can see behind you the image of a young Patty Hearst, symbiote, the symbionese Liberation Army in the 70s when we were kids kidnapped her. She was of extremely wealthy heiress. And people who are younger wouldn't know this, but something happened. Her captors sort of brainwashed her into thinking the way they were thinking. So that she sided with the people who tortured and raped and kidnapped her. And it's called Stockholm syndrome. And you've written a piece that's streamed dot org that deals with that. So go ahead and tell us about that piece. Yeah, Patti Hearst was grabbed by a bunch of San Francisco radicals of the kind that formed Kamala Harris, Willie Brown was the political mentor of Kamala Harris. He was also the political mentor of Harvey Milk, the gay activist and the reverend Jim Jones, the left wing cult leader who started that compound in Guyana and got everyone to take cyanide and drink in the Kool-Aid. This ferment, this world of crazed radicalism is what gave birth to the woke movement, which currently dominates the entire Democratic Party and is being posed on the United States.

"Well, first of all, Trump's rallies. Rape use voice-over. Rapist voiced ever with a music behind him and the right, just winding down. Again, road creature stuff. Right. But everything, this is what he's done to this country. It's just the fentanyl in the Halloween, everything that people don't, it's just fake news. It's a hoax, right? Yeah. And he's out there now talking about him stealing. Okay, here we go. He probably read and heard about the document hooks. Has anyone heard about the document hopes helicopters floating over Mar-a-Lago? Well, they give us about $5 billion worth of free publicity. I will say, people said, that's a nice house. If it weren't so nice, they probably wouldn't be doing it because you know it gets ratings when they look. They say, that's a beautiful place. Oh my God. They rated and broke into my everyone knows. We've done nothing wrong. They are targeting me because they want to silence me, silence you and silence are amazing, make America great again movement. He will just never shut the ever Willie. Go away. Well, I will say, you know, he used to brag about the size of his crowds and tell the press that were on the press podium to turn around and show the crowd. Doesn't do that anymore. Anymore. The last thing he wants them to do is turn these cameras around and show a half and half empty 6000 seat stadium with a bunch of people pouring out of the thing because they've heard it. Yeah. This was going to be a rally for the candidate. Ultra maga is magga without Trump and he's too dumb to know it.

Cam Smith Takes a Week Off After Day-After Penalty LIV Punishment

"I think that I think cave Smith has already gone to live for one. I think the whole two shot penalty called in after the fact, 24 hours later, you know, most 99% of the guys at the PGA Tour, they let that slide, but because it was him and he's going, they called it on him. For sure. I mean, yeah, he probably did play it from the wrong spot, but golf's a gentleman's game, right? You don't always have perfect ruling, you don't always have black and white rules. There's a lot of gray area in some of these deals. And I've gotten away with some like you've gotten away with some of these rulings, you call for a different rules official sometimes because you don't like their opinion. That happens all the time. So there's no black and white, but anyway, I believe he's gone period, but for him to skip a week. It's just strange with back pain or whatever, then Willie Z pulls out after winning with back pain and pulled out of a tournament ever. With any pain, so it's just a bizarre bizarre week.

Joe Biden; The Most Corrupt President in American History

"Promo code prager. Thank you, Dennis, and it's always a privilege. It never gets old, and it's never unappreciated. Dennis is unique, and there's no one else I'd rather fill in for. Many years ago, actually this house started many years ago Dennis said to me, you know, those are pretty big shoes for you to fill in for. Me, meaning his size. What does that Sean a size 12 size 13? What is this where? I don't even know. But he didn't mean his shoes were so big, right, he meant just, well, maybe he did because he told me I thought 12 or 13, I may be totally wrong. We've got to find that out. But big shoes they are because no one in the media is quite like him, including offering the inside he does in so many issues. So I just try to give you my perspective on life and issues and maybe one of these days my own podcast. You know, with all the teaching and everything else I do, it's been hard to get it going, but we will at some point. In this first hour I talked about whether we need a new Declaration of Independence to take back our country from the left. In this hour I want to talk about the specific charges against the king, because I said, right, the founders revolted rebelled against the king of England. As they seek to control our lives and make us into their left wing utopia. That's what they're doing. But if this is important, if you understand their ultimate goal, they're specific policy disasters, make more sense. You think they failed because they don't work. But they think they succeeded because they've created chaos and disorder. Just as with the policies of the king of England, so many years ago. But of course, Joe Biden is no king. He doesn't have a set of principles and he never did. Actually has one set of principle. That's the grow his principle. If you don't mind the pun. He might be the most corrupt president we've ever had. In any case, he's actually more of a placeholder for the left than anything else. And Kamala Harris, my God. Is she over her head? She must have always want to power to make up for her insecurities, of which there must be many. That's my guess. I'm no psychologist. Sean, do you remember the Peter principal? He's looking at me funny. He's just doesn't look that way. Of course. A quizzical look. It was the Peter principal said that you're doing your job well and then they promote you to the higher job and that's where you fail because you were very good at what you did before, but you're not so good in a promoted role. In my other field as a teacher, you wouldn't believe how many bad a system principles and principles there are. They might have been very good teachers. That's kind of what the Peter principal was. But she was an awful senator if you remember that. And an awful attorney general before that. I think Dennis even debated her once. But yes, you know what she was? A good friend of former speaker of the California assembly, Willie Brown. Actually, I don't know if she was a good friend, Willie Brown. You'd have to ask Willie Brown, right? We don't even know if she was Sean, why are your eyes going like cross eyed? You're not saying anything. Neither am I. But we never checked lily Brown about that. It's hard to believe, though, that these are the highest office holders in our country. They're an embarrassment to our country. But again, they're clearly being controlled by the left. Whether it's Obama, that's my guess, is people or other leftists. Do you remember the event weeks ago where Obama came back? I guess for the first time to visit The White House. And he comes back and everybody's around him and he's up mister terrific. And Joe Biden wandered around looking for someone to say hello to hip, just to say, now that was pathetic to watch. I almost felt sorry for him as bad as he is as corrupt as he is. But of course you have to ask this question. Why does Biden's wife and I kind of hinted at it in the first hour, she must be so obsessed with power to have ever cared about protecting her husband's dignity. What about his dignity? You can say, well, if your mean, you say you'd never had any. But in fact, that defines all of them seeking power to make up for their shortcomings as people. That's what I guess. They seek power to define themselves, especially power over other people. That's my best guess. Let me know what you think. One 8 prager 7 7 6. And it includes people on our side, too. Like Mitt Romney, if I had a guess, if you remember his father didn't do well running for president, I forgot the incident that happened on not going to say he cried or something that would have been, that was Mike dukakis, I think, of Massachusetts, but there was something, and all of a sudden he failed miserably in his quest for the presidency. So my guess is Mitt Romney's avenging for his father's undignified loss of the presidency. But, you know, I've apologized. Many times for being a delegate for it. He fooled me too for a while. But Dennis said he met with him and he didn't care about principles. Yeah, that makes sense. And Liz Cheney. Oh my God. Trying to preserve, I guess her father's legacy, whatever that was. If anything, she's tarnished what, with many of her pronouncements, she's tarnished what people thought about her dad, Dick Cheney. I suspect that all these people have deep personal problems, and I never feel that they care what is best first for our country. That they care best first, what's best for them. But they are part of the leftist cabal, whether they know it or not. What did the Russians call them useful idiots? So back to the charges. We had charges against the king and I mentioned in the first hour that's what the Declaration of Independence was about. So what are our charges begin with against this would be president. The stealing of the presidency. They never accepted Trump's victory, and they were willing to stop at nothing to make sure he lost. Including, as you know, the Russian hoax, what, two years impeachments, and the banning from social media. And now they have lawsuits against him and other enemies. Anybody who had anything to do with them. These people have no moral guard rails, except to win at all costs. That's it. And I said in the first hour, they're likely 20 anomalies over 20 that had to happen for Trump to lose. But they did win and Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are in office because of blatant fraud. As the movie 2000 mules demonstrates pretty well itself. So, mister king Biden, our first charge you never should have been declared king because you ascended to the throne illegally. How many of you, you can call me one of the prager 7 6 7 7 6? How many of you listeners like me still cringe when they call on President Biden? I still have trouble with that. It's like calling the person who stole your house, the homeowner. And to add insult to injury, the king had his Justice Department, as you know, throw innocent people into jail, summoned to solitary confinement, as I mentioned, because of January 6th, and they call it an insurrection. I love that. That was an insurrection. I don't think so. Riff raff and all kinds of people maybe, but insurrection, I don't think so. Of course, your edicts at the very beginning like ending our pipelines and drilling the ending of drilling for fossil fuels and discouraging just the scourge leases, just the other week I think it was. But it's part of your plan, see, that's what I said. You got to understand what they're up to. That's their plan to destroy capitalism and markets that we're working here. To this day, even in light of high gas prices, you continue this policy as part of the Green New Deal. And that's going to help destroy our country. So what do they do? They printed a lot of money to assuage the peasants doing my analogy with the king with your trillions of dollars in giveaways. It's a way to make them more dependent on your government. When you make people give them money then they start to depend on the government. It makes me think of a story when I first started teaching. I think it was a fourth grade kid. He's running around the school building wildly. It wasn't my student. And I finally caught up to him. I said, you know, what are you going to do with this? What are you going to do with your life? In fourth grade, he said to me, I'll go on welfare. His family must have been on welfare. He already knew that term. That was his dream, I guess, or that's what he had hoped. So that's what you do with the printing and money. And as you know, with inflation at a control, it won't be long before your Marie Antoinette, Kamala Harris, says let them eat cake. Sean, you do remember Marie Antoinette? In history, if nothing else, Dennis did not debate Marie Antoinette. You don't have to look that up. Debate between Dennis Murray. But of course, I'm confused in two different revolutions. But a revolution we have on the streets through your defunding of the police, you're just less department allowing the left to right and commit mayhem to scare, get this now, the masses into needing your protection. That's what's going on. And of course, we know that the DA's all across this country funded by George Soros of letting them out. I read a story the other day. They can't get police in many cities. Who would want to be a policeman these days? You lock sum it up. They're out in jail before you could even say boo. And just like Putin protesting his liberation of Nazis in the Ukraine, that was a justification. You come up with this phony white supremacy, as the number one problem in our country, and the reason for the crackdown of our civil liberties. I can see all these juxtapositions with what you're doing and with communism and dictatorship. A long, of course, with charges about America being a white supremacist country because you use race baiting at every chance because you have nothing else.

Tom will love dress up all the horn players as women. Huge say could be duke in the non binary that will be known as them. Thank you okay. Thank you very much Now how things go in your life. These days al mad life is good. Tom had a good time. And i would last week. I just i love midwestern crowds like. They're just they're they're quiet. They get drunk after the show like adults. I'm here for what clubs are you planning. You don't notice it like when you do like columbus and city like everybody's like they're like chill and then at night like they pace themselves. It's a pacing and then it hits about eight forty five. You need to be back in your own. now al. I friend of mine's trying this. No one likes this idea. But i bet you will an open marriage. That was that was that did come up very quickly yet. A standing ovation there. Did you Now the idea is you prepare. You take all fifty states and every week once a week you you you make a meal associated with that state and then you watch a movie either about that state or filmed in that state. Now you'll love your from ohio. Love just as chick this. What would your food be from. Ohio's their particular thing chick you said. Oh buckeyes the candy. And then i looked up online. It was all skyline chili from cincinnati. They have pasta and then move. The movie you'd watch bathe in ohio is shawshank redemption. of course yeah at lucasville. I think wasn't that no. And i'm watching tommy boy which is found in sandusky ohio right. Yeah that's great choice. Good choice it's just a fun way to find out a lot about just sort of where movies were made. I guess every state probably has some l. I was thinking yesterday. If i was doing colorado i would totally choose the shining but can you think of colorado signature food You know. I think that's the colorado is not known for its food is known for its like craft beer. It's got a lot of good bar food around it like you can go bar in colorado and get like a legitimate meal not just like wings in nachos but i don't know if there's like maybe like a like a buffalo steak or something like that like wild animals according to a denver omelet. I don't need eggs. Oh denver omelette holding on with him. I always liked the. I always liked all the stuff that went into eggs. I make h my kids and my first job. I was a shorter cook at embassy. Suites hotels i can cook eggs. I just I think there's if you don't like the way something tastes. the consistency. eggs always tastes like somebody already chewed them and then put them in your mouth. Oh like a little baby bird. Yeah we don't have to dwell on this. i've been. I've received a ton of emails from people from wherever they're from talking about what they would cook on any given night and what movies were made in that particular state and dig and it's interesting because there for example someone somebody four different movies actually filmed in utah That's got to be the gary gilmore story or something right and then what was the one to san lot Anthony got a really good one. Oh napoleon dynamite. Yeah idaho or iowa. Idaho idaho so anyway. It's just sort of a fun thing. And if you've got any good suggestions by all means to get them to us bob and tom at bob and tom dot com now the matter at hand Al is sophisticated gent. Who's attended Lived in. I should say many states and tour the world as a comedian. He has worked for the banana running from child support. That wasn't a bit once again. We get to the open top man. We were hotel and the marshals. Were at the door. Never then do you own or rent your home. Sure you do. "About my own peculiar way, it's nice to know about Willie Nelson. It was disastrous in 1960s. Virgin white was a conductor in the ranger. This became really his first video album, which he uses new classical guitar called Martin and 20 19 trigger most songs now since your album via William Nelson recent 1970. Was he daughter the new decade, Nelson had not achieved any commercial success at RCA that he'd hoped for? He gained a measure of fame writing songs over here for very young, hello walls. Billy walker fronting tall Thompson this way. And Patsy clawing crazy and worrying or pretty paper. But most of us thought on the charts has been a single RCM being the biggest solid cover bringing sunshine which hit number 13 has producer arce had shed Atkins touch hard. There's purchased from a law of LP to the toxic constant fellow. What's the search remain elusive after the underwhelming performance of the album? Particular way of your past support over 1969, such as began from both sides now after that album comes laying my burdens down as 11 city all by only Nelson. We're leasing autumn of 1970. Blame our bird and someone was second RCA released in 1970 and 14 years, but the film we remain unchanged is producer shut akins and Fulton drivers continue upon international formula to Nelson's recordings. Watching instance singers better judgment those albums, birds and Willie Nelson and family were similar stories. Any kind of studio players could cover songs interesting complex and lousy cells. All musician workers agrees there are some nice things on here, but too many are buried under nostrils. And those seem to be able to stand on their own. Despite paltry cells, notes remain those RCA heads later stating, even though his vision, if I were different, I couldn't get mad at the man who believed so deeply my talent. Especially when I happened to be one of the best guitar players in the world. Yesterday is one is the 13th studio album. Also, I saw them on our list. It's a concept of Alibaba country singer Willie Nelson. No stopping recording for RCA Victor since the early 1960s. And I had no significant hits. But I was recording hemorrhage mid charge positions. Those awesome money from his songwriting world to his body financial and successful concert tours. Large nearly unprofitable in addition to problems with his music career, Nelson had promised his personal life. He had divorced his volatility and colleague in his Tennessee ranch. I've been destroyed by fire. After moving to new home in May nearer Texas, no someone's called by RCA, producer fault and Jarvis about the upcoming scheduled recording sessions at the time also not running any new material. He returned to dashboard where he wrote songs to use with his others for these new concepts, songs were recorded at the RCA studio national just two days. Consider one of the first concepts of all the country music yesterday is one is the story of imperfect man from the moment his words the day of his death arts the originally released, you see those yesterday's wine and me and Paul, the former pizza number 62 in billboard's heart country singles, the album felt to reach charge frustrated Nelson decided to temporary retire from under a contract to RCA Records layer his musical virtualized returns to music in 1973. The next time that we have one of those in the words don't fit the pictures of 14 studio album. Our country is one of the awesome part 1979 14 albums for RCA. Was not much to show for it. RCA has cycled to the formula with and don't seem to be able to stand on their own. Despite their paltry sells, those remain loads RCA, headaches later stating, even though his vision, if I were different, I can get by the man he believes to be playing about tonight. Especially when the man has been one of the best guitarists in the world. Thanks so this is William Nelson family, which is a 12th studio album country single one of the Nelson. Although Nelson continued to be frustrated with the question of poor sales of his albums at RCA, his live show continued to develop in the early 70s and he started acquiring the core members of his band. Bees spears on baseball English on drums and making Rafael and harmonica. And his sister Bobby on the piano of which he refers to his family. Those linear records, first playing with Raphael, immune to see how his usual occasional sit in, he can become part of the family a loose charm that means this is Robert's been as a warmer word that suggests genuine care and love. Those who had also discovered his bargain 20 cost of guitar known as trigger was part of the contributed to evolving ourselves by his almost he remained burdened saying national street documentary lost highway the singer explained I had a freaking following on the road, probably I was doing coming out in the record. And I'll follow you if we were to guard into this video with Ben. I did what we've been doing every night. We would have been better, had a better chance. Those who would get his opportunity to record with his band in 1933, when he recorded the LP chocolate only in New York's Atlantic studios with Gary walker, but will also fall the same production blueprint as his research RCA album. Nice way of yesterday is why she was 13 to the album and the Willie Nelson. No stop being recording for RCS early not his decision to have those hits. Financial Sony is recording to enrichment chart of course positions. Does the lost money from his song running world choose by VNA fee unsuccessful concert tours that were generally unprofitable that this problem had caused his personal life? He divorced his bars through the colony and as soon as he had been determined by a fire, affluence a new home had made their choices harbor our safe British public about the upcoming central recording sessions. At the time, most of the government returned now to where we were at new songs to use other. Sounds were recorded at RCC and national industrial days. Consider one of the first albums in country music. Yesterday is one is the story of an imperfect man for the moment. He is born to the top of the RC originally released to see those yesterday's one..

"And a lot of them are long developing type routes. They have the with our offensive line to keep you day and pass the ball a little bit. throw balls down field defensively reno. I thought they are very athletic. On the defensive backs lock you play lots of main coverage of very very good ballclub with a little spurt. The second quarter. We didn't play very good and three turnovers during that time period. But the guys five back in you guessed opponent like oklahoma your high quality talented coaching. You gotta be point the whole ballgame and we work for time there in the second quarter. But i'm sure we'll contend for a national championship this year. Well coach. thanks for making time. You've done such a phenomenal job in all of your stops southern before to lane and It's really great to have you on even under Rather difficult circumstances be well and hope you hope you guys get back home soon. Thank you paul ralway. You got it. Thank you very much coach. Would coach fits from birmingham. Not not exactly where you expect to find the two lane coach in the middle of a of a workweek They'll be playing at legion field. This weekend we'll take a break more to right after this listening the paul finebaum show podcast. Goodyear believes in the power of moving forward. No matter if it's on the track the court or the field movement makes us want to be more. It pushes us to go further to show the world what we can do movement as the unique ability to change our perspective to challenge us to work for a better tomorrow movement can even bring together when we're still because if we're focused on the next move we don't have to worry about what's behind us goodyear more driven and we welcome you back in some really sad news to pass along one of the legendary figures in college football history. Sam the bam cunningham has passed away according to the university of southern california. You know for all that he did. He is best known for going crazy on the alabama crimson tide in a game in one thousand nine hundred seventy at legion field which which many historians have said Helped open the door to integration of the alabama football team. Now others will dispute that you can't. You can't rewrite history though and that is the way history is written. It is a fact that alabama had Two african american players Already signed up Wilbur jackson and john mitchell one of them may have even been the stands that night but two stories about that game are legendary books. Many books have been written. And we'll talk a little bit more about that But that news just coming out a southern california. Let's continue with more phone calls at eight. Five five two four two seven two eight five and jay is in mobile. Hello jay what's going on tomorrow. We're doing great thank you. I love your show. I watch it all the time every day. Thanks so much Anyway all domino die hard fan A lot of people don't realize like oh. I mean in the south. Hello yeah we're here we. We are not leaving at least until seven blah blah. We'll go right ahead anyway. All on god. Oh two questions for you. Oh all these on georgia fans. I mean they're also quick to like. Oh they got the biggest team. They're ready for everything. I mean Jay and maybe going on is jay. Be trying to to watch the television as he talks. And this is not a secret. We talk about this occasionally. There is a delay between what i'm saying at this moment. Let me start. Sort of if i say something now and you're talking to me and you're watching television. You won't hear what i said on the television for about seven seconds. I know that sounds confusing. But you remember these signals bounce pretty high up in the in in outer space so let's I realize you're sitting there. You're on hold and all of a sudden you get to call. You're not thinking okay. I need to do this or that. But that's why we often get. These delays kudzu is up next in atlanta. Hello koji hey paul how are you we are. Well thank you. Thank you for taking my call It was great to hear from willie. Fritz dow was one. The georgia southern. Let him get away. I know that 'til ain't has a higher A booster situation where they can afford to pay him but the reality was. I always liked him as a coach and he did a fantastic job when he was their their first year in the sun belt The real racism calling. Paul is i. You know all these games this weekend. It was very interesting. Wash the one thing that was very abundantly clear it. I don't know if you cover this or not. I'm sure you made mention of it is. How pathetic is the acc and football I mean i think that the sec to play them opening weekend for the next two or three years and we can go to eliminate them from the college football playoff altogether because the the acc has pretty much been clemson and the rest For many many years and it got exposed badly this weekend. And i can't remember and i know people are saying well the The pac twelve had a bad weekend to it. Did but the pac twelve already punching bag so let's not beat concerned about that But the acc likes the prop itself up as as a something on the on a similar level to the sec. And it's just not true. Mack brown fan never. I didn't. I don't really care for much attention. But the reality is at least he was honest about the situation would says hey only lester where all we were completely overrated and they were. I mean Great atmosphere and blacksburg. But come on man you gotta take care of business if you're to number ten team in the nation. That's always been north carolina's undoing. Even when mac was there the first time he he's he's a really good coach and a lot of nine three zero records but they always they always blow a game and by the way. I'm not saying it's easy to win. And blacksburg that was that was a frenzied crowd but If you look over the last six or seven years even going back to To beamer's last couple of years area winning in blacksburg has gotten a lot easier than it used to be. No question about it and last last but this I would say. Greg sankey looks more brilliant by the day because not only does he have the market share. He's already solidified. The arguably said if i sounded top programs and you know anybody that thinks he's not gonna be able to run. The show with expansive playoff is is really You know arrogant here but if the rest of college sports doesn't want to deal with the the sec. I i don't really care you. And i don't think he does either knows it Because there's not what nobody is going to try to exclude them from anything. Because our everybody's gonna know they've got a minimum of eighteen war nazis in the last thirty forty years and so the route is being they are. They are the program. I mean they are. The conference will also thank you for the call. Caleb is up next in california. Hello caleb paul love the show. Thanks time caller. What did he do what your thoughts were on this arkansas team. After those those. I struggle against rights and Just waiting our chances are this weekend against against Pretty good sexist team for doing that. Pretty decent.

"Both of them in my tweet when i when i promoted my story on nate so hopefully. They'll they'll connect that way in nato be able to see his his former high school coach reflecting and reminiscing and bragging on on what he saw long before anybody else long before illinois came around and before he had any scholarship offers on the table. Like i said when illinois he said that when illinois showed up lovey smith recruiter. Whoever it was that recruited him. They were stunned that this do. They had no competition. All they have to do is give him an offer and he jumped out of because he had. He had nothing he he. He didn't commit till december of his senior year. Most most top notch players from big time programs are committed by their junior season or the end of it or just or before the senior year to get it out of the way so he's obviously being somebody who i thought his stood out. I think a lot of us have. I've been really impressed that we can just add on with jonathan abram and his election to move into the into the box become a box. Safety unhelpful for him his willingness to adjust under gosh broadly. I think that's helped the cohesiveness of the aforementioned secondary. I think it's helped guys like nate. Hobbs or damon are net or even an incoming veteran like casey hayward. Abrams had no qualms about it and because he knows not only. Is it going to improve the entire unit. It's gonna show some some somewhat of a little bit of leadership and initiative but it's also going to help his own game because he struggled in open-field coverage and getting beaten in long in long passes in so inside that box with a tighter short of a tighter connection to the offense being zero in. I think that's helped. And that's in. That's also just immediately helped the secondary as a whole for sure. So i'm looking forward to seeing a whole lot of eight hundred. They tell you in the last two shows. I've done the first time. It came up when i asked about. What player are you looking for this year. That's going to stand out and impress and my last guest sick for coffee from sirius. Xm's at nate. Hobbs his name is on the tip of everybody's tongue and how well he's done. So far has been impressive. I can't wait to see how that carries over to the regular season for sure but that is all the time we have for today. So if you wouldn't mind. Willie let everybody know where they can find you on social media and we're that article lives right now. Yeah check me out on twitter or instagram same. Name willie. g w. i l. l. e. g. ramirez. Ram i r. e. z. Somewhere on my timeline. I'm sure it'll be a little bit wants to this. Podcast comes out and you're hearing this live. I will get the tweet out again for everybody to hear and see at the top of my timeline and continued coverage this week as they head toward their final preseason game and into the regular season and looking forward to obviously opening week so extensive coverage from myself and my colleague josh do bow from the associated press. "It's nothing been positively encouragement and telling him come on. Let's go and this that the other. And then if he has something to say he either does it behind closed doors or he's doing it when the unit convenes for it for a defensive meeting. And that's what i've been impressed with most is a lot of these coaches are on the same page and the mentality come from the same old school. That gruden does in old school. You talk about those guys spit in and pulling guys around by their helmet. I all i could picture his rod. Marinelli doing that. Anybody on the d. line. I picture rod marinelli. Doing that was any. I would love to see a fan of happened to me. My first year of tackle football. I remember how old i was playing for. The jubilation raiders coincidentally Here in las vegas practicing at sunset park and my old coach dan. hi element. It was one of the first co practices with pads. And you lie late. You laid on your back helmet-to-helmet and you had to get up and run straightforward and and whoever got the best of the other one and i was scared of getting hit i just i did you know i just love. Playing football played street football lightbulb football with the nerf but as far as tackling and get hit i wasn't having it and i think it might have been five six times and i remember him yelling. We are not taking a water break until ramirez gets this right and that was the day that i grew up inside of tackle. Football became a cornerback. Which is why a big fan of the secondary especially nate hobbs. Well let's get into that. You were talking to a high school coach. I believe right for a piece that you have coming up. What can you tell us what you learned about nate hobbes. Yeah he He's obviously been the biggest surprise out of the twenty twenty one draft class. He's been just making plays during the seven on seven during the one on one drills. We've seen him step up. I remember filming a video and putting it when they were there was one day where they let us film extensively which they hadn't been doing and i had a great shot of him and he quoted it and the quote that he he just put an emoji and it was a meditation emoji above a above. My tweet he deflected a pass but in the video he was upset that he didn't pick it and every time we've asked him a question about a standout you know Play that he's made it's always been a critique of himself rather than a humble brag and i've been impressed by his humility and so when i talked to his coach for actually. The story came out yesterday. Tuesday morning for the associated press. And you know so. Many people have been writing about up. So i wanted to reach back to when he was in high school. I was shocked to find out that this do did not get his first serious look until november of his senior year and he committed in december illinois. Which at the time was coached by lovey. Smith was shocked. That there wasn't. I think western kentucky the hilltop. I was the only one that had an offer on the table. Louisville nothing kentucky. Nothing this dude starred for chris. Wool at louisville's male high-school and it is the second winningest high school program in the history of high school. Football behind valdosta in georgia. The second most wins of all time and wool. Chris wolf said that he never really has to play to a player's right..

"Those guys and i don't think that we should see some of the around the league and you see the injuries at the linebacker position as we spoke about now. The offensive line is a work in progress This is going to be an area. I'm intrigued to see against the first rank. Defensive lineman working cohesively I wanna know how the running game is gonna react with new linemen in front. We have seen some of the guys that are going to be worked into the starting lineup in the trenches on the offensive line and the defense of some of the faces. We've seen some rookies emerge in the secondary. So i've seen improvement based off last year. And i think it has to continue but i think it's based off of what we've seen at the practices and in the training camp in one on ones in in in the seven verse seven younger. There's there's there's one specific area that i'm just not sure after two preseason games against seattle which played somewhat of a vanilla game in the opener pete carroll din plotter starter. So it's hard to gauge. The rams things got feisty all week. And i think that they sort of went into that. A little of the coaches went in a little more cautious after that group broke up that that practice that you know were tempers flared. One thing is with this running. Game as mention the raiders were in the upper half of the league with one hundred nineteen point eight yards per rushing game. They ranked nineteenth with four point two yards per attempt. Josh jacobs rates eight with a thousand yards and night with seventy one yards per game but yards per attempt. Jacobs was forty third in the league near the bottom with three point nine per carry. That's something i think. They have to be improved on It ordered to move the chain better and sustained drives especially in the red zone which is another area of improvement. That gruden talked about during the the before eighty games. I happen to ask him a question after the seahawks game which somewhat he's somewhat snapped. It's an obvious topic. But he didn't like post game question and it was actually meant to be somewhat complementary because they went in the red zone four times and they score each time touchdown twice. You'll go twice by him calling it a sore subject to me. It's still something that's bothering him. He needs to be fixed defensively. The biggest improvement that needed to be made has been the brightest component in that. It's that's the secondary. I like what i'm seeing from. The entire defensive backfield and once a healthy unit is established. We're going to see impact plays carry into the regular season. Probably helped his team in terms of getting the ball back into the offense is hands ek time. So we're gonna come back talk a little bit more about that and other topics as well here on the.

"And get a bonus of up to five hundred dollars when you sign up. I'm really excited to have william on today. Because i haven't ever done this. And we were like two feet away from each other half the time when we're going through everything with the raiders. So thank you for coming on. Willie excited to have you years. Now we've worked together. And i'll be honest with you and when i got your message i kind of you know now. It's become somewhat routine or passe to get you know they have some of the local guys with the radio reach out or or some late night podcast. But when i saw the measure out kind of excited i felt a little honored because i have never been asked by you so this is kinda cool. Kinda my bad. Do so many people that you get commonplace with. We talk all the time. So it's just like you know you just kinda overlook sometimes what's right in front of you is about life's through story rights and i think also you know this is my first real real full year in in terms of a quote unquote beat writer. When you all have been covering this for so long. Since they made the announcement that will come to vegas and then last year. I was limited to what i can do this year. I've somewhat treated like a regular beat. So yeah it's been and it's been it's been I opening for me because this is my first full blown season as appropriate beat writer. So i'm excited all glad to have you on board with the raiders. And it's been like you said it's been kind of fun year doing it Being here at the henderson facility for training camp was certainly new and just being able to watch some of these new guys on. The field has been really entertaining. And i'm gonna talk to you a little bit about one of the pieces that you have coming up on made hobbs. We'll get into that. But i i wanna talk about what's going on with this team. We know that there are some injuries where linebacker is concerned shaven white. Unlv guy no. You know a lot about david white He struggling with a knee injury right now. And then nicolas moreau with a foot injury which can be very concerning. I wanted to first get your take on the linebacker depth. And what you think. The raiders will do you in light of the injuries. well i. i obviously the raiders. You know john grew. They didn't see a rash. The rash of injuries like they're enduring linebacker during training camp of jon gruden how to hit the concern in his voice but also was confidence that the unit would be fine by week one You gotta remember that. There's only three preseason games so they they can. They can sort of go into this week. They've they've looked.

"The guy absolutely smokes the ball. He's got that swing with that. He so lanky. I've never really met him but in person he looks like he's just kinda tall and lanky but he just generates the most obscene power. That ever let me just clarify that. He's not lanky he's skin and bones like you like skin buddy here Yeah he's he's really thin and And it's it's unbelievable. It's all things never take all that stuff. And so he said he learned upside down things. There was a great play with high school and Or even before and she was right hand so he he did that all the time he would hit with her club down. Got bob with them. one just don't ban on anything absolutely not be better Yeah he came up to we were. We're actually haven't in florida. Well making a bad drive me and my brother like we're here. Say i mean yeah like not that. There's no one of the master's twice. I know bad nine. We did he. He he takes the bag offers car he just takes it off and just leave it there and he pulls out of six. I said i'll play all of y'all your best score from all of you like four and i'll play with six only and he's kicking the car hold six. Are you kidding we. We had a meeting with a six. That's you know. And even if he does but you gotta see it He shot two over with a thick. How he he drove egypt. I mean it was the most unbelievable thing i've ever seen did it all. And that's the thing with those guys willie. That's so cool is in especially him his shot making the division that he has an a shot. There's no rhyme or reason for that guy he just wants to hit a shot. If he wants to hire and right he will. I mean a huge cut a huge fit. Whatever may be the guy's gonna hit it just to prove a point. Think about that hooky. Hit out of the right rough at a guy. Hit that thing. If you see the aerial view of how he in his position he hit a hook. I mean the thing was like a half circle. You remember that willie whenever he wanna masters. I think it was the first time Yeah i i i one. I know it's funny. I was there. I didn't know him. That's before i met him but i i didn't know him but i happen to be there and and had to make the choice so if you've ever been the masters you realize like so it was either be remember. That was a right so it was like it was either gonna end at eighteen or or people and so. I made the decision to go ahead and commit to eighteen so worm always pose to great once it goes to kin your toes. 'cause it's way down there on the fairway and so i was asked to deal. Admits the shot. Is that it down there. But this must have sports. There was yeah. It was unbelievable. And you yeah probably collared shots like just for like they'll say how about a hit one. You know it off the ground you know driver gonna do this and the shot and the next okay. Now gonna yet. Yeah it's totally differently. He he does this her to say that he doesn't believe i'll play with the professional golfers and the back like he's special now. Have you played augusta. i know you've been. Yeah have i've played terrible and Well it's like really out of shape and you know. I always said if i ever got the opportunity. That's one drop everything. Maybe lose your job. Whatever you know whatever ramifications they're gonna happen then and By the play in it was a weird deal. I had to be in like two cities the night before. Like in burn. I think colorado springs and So anyway we flew in. And i got there at our before the And and they came to get me out so so in that you'll realize that thanks hard to walk. You know we did the par-three course. I chipped in the first time on the par-three courts at a party in thirty number two. And i went out for eagle number actually was on the green to a little bit to your go birdie and i was like okay. I've done it. I'm and then play like arbiter. Thank you played it in the fall so this lie december last year. You know industrial Similar conditions like that green born obscene. May not you know crazy fast. Like they are right but yeah something special about this place. That's probably been my bad memory. But my favorite course. I play is That's just amazing. I mean a standard that. It's hard even contract with dolphins rebel. Yeah that that places. I mean i've heard okay. I've never. I've never played pebble which i've been there and it's terrible for media even admit that i haven't played it yet but ryan plays a lot of public golf course. He's funny i do sometimes but no i've. I've heard people say that pebbles great. But what's the what's the course right next to bubble up into vanish now spyglass uggla. I've heard people say they like spyglass better but i i don't know if i can subscribe to that i think when when you're at pebble it's pebble for a reason. Do you agree. yeah. I mean it's again it's just tough it you like it better. I mean there's some cool spots all their know even that other one. I don't think it's like even more in the ocean. Go out and.

"With a guy who get mad planning. And they're terrible. why would you get. You're not good like why don't you back. You're gonna come in and shoot a par like you're you know you don't practice you know once every four or five months a couple of times a year at you're expecting to be good. You should never get that everything should just be laughing if you get to parties to super 'cause that's a miracle for me you know and but it what happened was i. I was playing in the The celebrity terminent of big larry's giant crowds and probably the biggest celebrities. I'm presuming there yet. Like lots of people and Drove what was our second. I think they've flip it on the regular when they rag payback shortish par for and I driven the green. And i come before this and i said i may win this thing that i just played it a austin country club. Think where's the pros play for. What the matchplay. Now we're the dome matchplay. Is austin country club you for the time like to before Went out our shot. Seventy four and i'm like i'm i come alive win this thing like i'm back to that and I drove that green. And it's a crazy green. Obviously because it's short know it's not gonna be easy to get their ram i. I put back ran the next back. It gets back to where i'm putting Making a four five now and this is probably manages three cutting for manages three party and i miss the pot on now. I don't know what happened to me. That something in my brain and if i can you don't even wanna talk about something got All in that just kept happening over and over and get probably a year later. I was playing this retirement in orlando and me and larry the cable guy Professional lpga player. And i get over it nine inches and that could move the putter back. Couldn't move like i'm literally just stopped. Kevin market market. And i backed up and let the well. What's your problem. i said. I can't move the putter back. And he said he said that's terrible but is still your. Putt and i said yeah realized that it's really. It's really awkward. Go back over the pot up pulled potter back. Maybe in the edge and just walked at it doesn't even it doesn't even touch it. I mean it was the most miserable things. And and then i was like. I'm i'm like this even fun. The only got worse. I think to of letter the keyboard up with my driver guys and completely with the by now. I'm just in like like looney tunes. And i know there's two hundred people watching back out again his his own green pot and Plan partner is also down. He said that up and that was that was a bogey and You know. I thought i with the person time he goes. We've got you joking. And i should have just went with the job allies like and i said i may just need some time awesome. Yeah and then this year. Tim tebow asked me to go. Do here's His charity and it sets all grass. And so it's hard to turn down. Sawgrass watched the whole. And i'm like i'm going back and even though i'm still kinda like what if i just thought the script it's a scramble so it's kinda can get in this thing and man i hit the about great and i was like i forgot how much i love this and so i'm committed. I'm back You back back cracks in. yeah i play. I actually got to go to the masters practice round so i went down. There saw some people on the thought. The bubba watson teddy's caddy at that. And then we played it now. It's right up the road in south carolina and Sally bali holy. Moly that is amazing and Some lay my own ball there. And i can't remember what park probably shot a ring as i was but you know it was like the shots were there. You know it's like like i was you know some hold. A party was not how and know what. I had a caddy and This kidding seventy. And and he and i move hotter bill was like things out and And my bag falls over. 'cause i have crappy back like super crabby bag and And it follows over my putter completely. The head completely break off like the buyer butter unless you kinda cool. Because i didn't have to focus on putting as much as i've got you know a bar and But anyway so. The resurrection of my gossiping back in full swing. And it was so bad when i was at my lowest because i've actually built a little golf course around my own so it was like every day i walked out it was just a reminder what i was because forth and losing the desire to play time. But that's that's the thing the game keeps bringing you back for more. That's the beautiful thing about this game. I mean you put the game down for a year and a half and then you picked it back up and it's like riding a bicycle. Yeah we make stupid mistakes out there you like. You said you're putting is not not the greatest right now that it will come back every time you start practicing a little bit short game. You're game gone right dipping potting obliterated but Eating shot you know drive in you know right down the middle and i quit swinging so hard i play with. Us are just really doing that. It was all i had smoked it. Yeah i'd say the story. So me and bubba watson we're on the practice in so and i'm talking about how long i can hear it and i'm obviously doing watches as weird and so Bubba said i. I'll bet you a hundred dollars that i drive you with your driver okay. So i'm right lesson. And i thought well i guess thinking hit it right here. You know and i. I'll shot and so i tell you what i've just vomit. You know right down the middle in practice right and so so baba wait a minute. Wait a minute. I said how we know who's his father is a practice age and bubba say. Oh there will be no doubt and i was like well. How does it be no. That sucker took my. He took my driver lifted upside down. Any hit it over the entire driving range into the bushes of the clubhouse. Let me tell you. There was no doubt baba smokes it too so far guy. It was unbelievable crazy. "Love it. Yeah if we were. Shut up to so america next murderer. We're talking about that a little bit off air. I really enjoyed that movie. I think you did too and you would said how funny it would be if your son came in with a pair of pants. Oh that'd be great that'd be surgeries but but yes because this is a serious episode. We don't in any way wanna diminish the gravity of these events and these are very heavy things so mccray is all set right now. We're giving you a version of the story. That's going to be somewhat non-linear we're going to go back and forth through time but for now let's stick with him april fifth round five thirty pm. He's leaving in his volvo. He is not seen again until the morning of april sixth and this is where two australian tourists enter the story. Alan and barbara crow okay. So we're there. It's ten in the morning. We've got these two australian tourists barbara crow. She's really not put off by the strange side of something that looks like a car down the side of the embankment. But something about it. I don't know made her feel a bit. Strange spidey sense yes lives. I don't know the way that thing was angled where it was placed. We should at least go check on it. After they were win. A few miles down the road. They came back and they wanted to. Just take a look right they. They stopped there. And it's about three hundred yards from where this object was. Were from where they're standing to. Where the object is and allen took binoculars out so this is key here. They're far enough away. That allan took out a noculars to view the thing but that object was that they think might be a car down there and it was definitely a car it was it was in this. It was straddling this thing. That is known as a burn something. You'll hear about a lot if you read about the story or if you look at the documents it's we're going to call it like a watercourse like a stream or a small river creek like tight but it's a very small body of water. That's leading down into a larger body of water. Yeah yeah it's it's the limited space between a large stream or small river. This car was facing toward allen. Crowe yes towards the road toward the road which is important and so and it also looked like someone was inside and what they saw was mcrae's vehicle a volvo estate Line on the more a short distance from the junction of two roads. The eighty seven in the a.
