"Insight whatsoever. Rosen said yesterday. Truly has not made up his mind. I think. I don't think initially gonna start off. I think he's got to figure it out later on. This is just mild assessment later on deep in the season could possibly come back to make sure I'm clear with what you're saying. You're saying thank you don't expect rob gronkowski to go to camp though. I don't think he's going to start off the season by being retired. I think he's gonna get the I think he's gonna be in great shape. Philly. I want to come back and Jason Witten kind of thing like taken off not a full year. So is this like a veteran where I don't want to go to training camp. He doesn't he doesn't my work at all. I just think at this point is not gonna make a quick decision. I don't think he's got to make a decision in training in the summertime. Gonna let us body healed up. I think mentally he's not football. Like, I'm not ready to put on a passive Jim Brown. Famously infamously went to London and did dirty dozen. He wanted to get actor. We're going to have to pull off a movie set in October when the patriots offense village point fourteen a game that stuff will come out that he's completely done with football. But he does have a lot of opportunities. But I think he's still less football distinct right now. After winning a Super Bowl after all, the hard work and everything. I don't think he starts to season play football at all. And you think they would be cool with it? I'm not sure I would not want to go for four years. But it's not. It's his decision. How he plays it out? Boston Herald radio we are the rundown. Johnson Francetti jets drier and Christian Burgoyne. That's former patriot great William mcginnis with Andrew Sicily on the NFL network.

"If you find. If you find that that once in a lifetime guy in the draft, you say, my left tackle. Well, we saw the right tackle yomata gave them a little bit more money to play right? Michael. But that's a that's a problem. I'll take any day of the week that we could live with that problem. And all of a sudden in the fourth and fifth round, you mess around. You a gym of an lime in the play guards to be guards or centers for you at a play a long time in this league. So I think this is sign signing signing trip. I think would be a great addition to this team. And I think like you said it gives us more verse like gives us more flexibility when it comes draft time. I like the move to. I like the idea of Trent Brown to the Texans. The counter argument is that the patriots had every opportunity to bring brag to bring back Trent Brown, and they didn't hear you have a guy in his mid twenties. Started sixteen games for the Super Bowl champions yet. They're just letting him walk. No problem because I think when you look at and not to cut you off, but cut you off when you look kind of done, we just look at look at we look at bills trackwork bills are going to pay for anything, Belgium Belgium. He's not gonna pay for anything. Do. They have any position group in the league that has the highest bait on the roster. No, not one. They franchise tag there. All the time. But now. Five into the top five in his position, not the highest lifespan. They don't have the I think is gonna take you being the highest paid see that the patriot ways around straight clowney, by the way because they they never have the top guy. They're just really good across the board. Their really deep across the board is great thought to have. But you can't see the rates for your way. If you're not the patriots cannot try to operate under their way that they do. Check. Works for them. Because the twelve and Bill Belichick, and because the culture they have there because people will go there. Good player veteran players will go there and play because they know that and take less money, take less money. So you cannot operate on those same NFL team. And I thought it was gonna be the Cleveland Browns when they went to the moneyball baseball guys to run their front office. I want a team to go all in on never resigning their their their players after their rookie contract with the exception of quarterbacks with the exception of quarterbacks. Once they hit this point of time like clown. He's going into the franchise tag trade them every single time and get draft picks every single time. I wanna team to go all in with that process. The closest we've seen is the patriots. Does patriots? Don't do it. Exactly. That way. How do we know? It doesn't work. It doesn't ever done it because vets vets win championships. Yeah. You can't have lead higher T leadership wins championships. And just get your quarterback doesn't qualify. You'll be leader. When you look at we look at this patriots team. Yeah. They got Tom Brady, which is a is a is a is a staple of consistency. I don't know. I mean, you guys are in the trenches. But I sit behind the computer. I'm stan. But when you look at when you look at when you look at all the guys who the teams who won look at their leadership. Look at the guys they got on the field. Will you think about when Baltimore Ravens beat the forty Niners? Why did they win more vets goes elite and more vets had more vets? And they had the right? No, you're going to hit the patriots. And being physical wisdom like, you know, there's the pay the ravens don't operate like the patriots do. But the ravens have figured out a culture in a way to beat the patriots. When they face them in critical. Mattis idea though, you can still sign veterans on the street, you can sign the free agent you can sign the older guys who are now past that big money contract. And now don't need that money and are coming back to play on a better value for the team. But his, but as always guys draft pick you Kingery draft picks every year think you're going to be consistent. When you think about when you think about the patriot way, and you think about Vince Wolfert played there for probably eleven years eleven years. We've take about a rigorous Seymour who played there for eleven years when you think about Willie MAC William mcginnis who played there for thirteen seasons. We think about Tedy Bruschi who played there for thirteen seasons. We think about those guys very Raval. Those are draft picks. Those guys actually picked in the draft you let those guys go. You have no three titles coming up next which quarterback in the NFL does Shawn pinton gas went the Texans to trade a king's ransom for also a collar Murray be a bus in the NFL with some of the rumors going on about what he said or how he handled the meetings at the combine Antonio Brown. He could be dealt as soon as Friday where could he go if the city and trap show on sports radio six ten? It's mad radio. John MacLean in with us. One thing. I cannot get a clear answer on right now is what the Texans actually think of Kareem Jackson hired Matthew. They want to resign tire. They wanna redesigning the poor yet and market been sharing with his agent time. Khandan thank creams gone. Radio with my pain and Paul tomorrow morning at six. Sports leader, sports radio six ten. No.

I think it means everything to the Rams I wouldn't take that for. It means a lot to both teams. It means much more to the Rams because if the patriots lose what is everybody going to say, oh, they'll be back here next year. How Brady still the best? Oh, bella. Check is still to go to all coaches. If the Rams win just three years ago jerk. Jared Goff was a bust you hire Sean McVay. Everybody's like, where's this conference? He he likes the league on fire. And then he comes back and does it again. Oh any Wednesday Super Bowl on twenty twenty. We got our stadium opening up. It will be a story. Unlike any other the patriots they wanna win. It's it's not like they don't have a lot to play for is. Yes, if they lose everybody's gonna pick the patriots to be right back next year. William mcginnis. At something. "Of the jets just had lunch with lady bells agent lotta strong. Rumors jets are going after Latvian bell TJ Hirschman giada. Joining us. We've talked about this. If the Rams win the Super Bowl, it's a referendum on free agency and trades work. Is it not the teams that feel? They're a couple pieces of way will try to duplicate what the eagles date, and what the Rams date if they are successful Sunday used to be TJ those were the goofy teams like the poorly run teams overspent on a corner from Oakland. Now, the Rams are like, yeah. Get guy. It's almost like the NBA one year contracts bringing Rondo bringing land Stevenson JBL McGee. It's one year deal. They can help you in games. It's good. I like it. I I've always said the NFL mostly does everything. Better than the NBA except free agency. The NBA does free agency really really blockbuster. It's better than the regular season. March. My gut feeling the Rams win this game. It's a referendum on spend money on veteran players in Dominic and sue to lead you, you know, they may have a little stigma about him. But go get players, by the way. Bella check without even trying. I think trash-talk Tom Brady, I shouldn't say didn't try. He used a word. Certainly do. We have the tape on this. So he's talking about Lawrence Taylor. He has no problem saying how great he is watch this dollars a great football player. I wouldn't put anybody. I had Lawrence Taylor. I can't put anybody Taylor Taylor's the best I've ever seen certainly the best. I've ever coached. And I just wouldn't put anybody I had him. Okay. You laughed when you heard the word certainly I laugh because he said, he certainly the best I ever coach. And that was just don't ask me is he better than Brady. I'm telling you. He certainly the best player I ever coached. So don't ask me that. But I've heard Belichick talk like this about LT. He he somewhat has a man crush on. Yeah. He really respected and respects how great of a player that Lawrence Taylor worth by the way. Ballot. Check is a bit of a trash talker. You told me. Yeah. I remember playing them one time. We're playing them. We beat the crap items the third preseason game. I'm we smash them. It was like thirty seven zero. At halftime took the starters out like midway through the second quarter. He was so mad. He brought them back in play the whole game. So I catch a ball because we came on played I think two series into the third quarter now on their side line. And I said something to somebody. He like shut the F up. Get their thought here it is. Yeah, it was just like he mumbled it under his breath. So I said what I said, I just kind of laughed because we're killing them. And then we played them in a regular season that same year in a Beatles. Did you have a good game? I'm sure I did. I'm sure I've always I always played well against like the better teams defensively the Steelers. The ravens did the right patriots. The patriots play a different than ever everybody else know what what us. It was. They just played us. A lot of to man to man coverage safety help order top man underneath. And so at that point. That's when it became a cyber wars game, which it became my game because they trying to take chat out of it. No, you guys like you made some money was easy in a slot. One on one with safety help over the top. If you understand the coverage it's easy to get open. You know, I would say I don't think the Super Bowl means anything to ballot. Check. And Brady, I think it means everything to the Rams I wouldn't take that for. It means a lot to both teams. It means much more to the Rams because if the patriots lose what is everybody going to say, although be back here next year? How Brady still the best? Oh, Bella is still to go to all coaches. If the Rams win just three years ago jerk. Jared Goff was a bust you hire saw McVeigh. Everybody's like, where's this come from? He he likes the league on fire. And then he comes back and does it again. Oh AMI wins the Super Bowl. Oh. And then it's twenty twenty. We got our stadium opening up. It will be a story. Unlike any other the patriots they wanna win. It's it's not like they don't have a lot to play for is just if they lose. Everybody's gonna pick the patriots to be right back next year. William mcginnis said. See that to me is a crazy because I'm I'm a I want structure, you let me personally I want structure. I wanna know if it's third eight and they play this coverage. One hundred percent, this is how the route has to be ran. So you're you're thinking the game not just playing it. Yeah. I wanted to be honest. I remember when I never forget this. Kinna Kidman was not ripped up by any stretch it imagination. Carson was solid. Carson was an athlete, but he wasn't ripped up. But he was solid. He was like solid muscular, but not ripped up Kelly. Smith was in Cincinnati. He wasn't ripped up. He's a great athlete baseball player. Pittsburgh pirate track was muscular. But he he was ripped up. Matt Hasselbeck was ripped up and flacco and Carson were similarly built in its best quarterback was this. You don't want to have too much mostly you want that body to be loose and fluid. Thank you. I said this years ago, I always had this theory. I remember years ago. There was a quarterback that came into high school. I'm not gonna rip him because he didn't have a good career. He kind of he whiffed. And he went to Florida state, and he was a legendary weight room guy. And I remember seeing his traps Klay used to follow recruiting really closely. He's huge traps. I'm like dude during the wrong room in the film room, not the weight room. I don't want my quarterbacks to be ripped it inhibits the fluid in a looseness of the throwing in the shoulder, especially up in here you want Tibo Tibo coming into the league by year two he became a weight room junkie too big. Yes. He did it inhibits it inhibits the natural just fluid -ness of throwing the ball. That's why there's not one quarterback that you've seen that is just extremely muscular ripped up. It just doesn't work..

"Terry instead of me giving you a masterbuilt smoker for that call you ought to keep me one for that. Call what do I get out of it joined right now by very good friend of the program and NFL network analyst eight three times Super Bowl champ a fifteen year NFL sixteen career postseason sacks. That is an NFL record. You can follow him on Twitter and Instagram at William mcginnis, and you can see Willie on NFL game day morning on Sunday at nine AM eastern. And that includes Willie sit down with Tom Brady, Willie mcginest is my guest. It's up big Phil how you doing Jim. And I saw the stage from a and the first thing I Kristen was am I going on Jim Shaw? I gotta make sure always make my rounds. Always get here, man. I appreciate your long time. And it's still doing amazing job. And it's always a pleasure, man. Every time I'm on the show. So it's good to be here. Now, will you always say that you don't need to tell me that? But I I so appreciate it. It's really good to see you and you doing great. So what do you make of the whole scene you've done this before you've seen this before you know, what the patriots going what's going through there? Mind right now, what do you make of this week to point to this point? I think it's great, man. I think when you look at the production and everything that goes into a game. Like this. You really don't see this as a player until you're on the other side of you're retired. Or you're out of it. I think it's great to build up. I think there's two great teams about to battle. There's no comparison the Super Bowl thirty six versus fifty three. None of those guys really know anything about it. You know except for for Brady and Bella check in a couple of coaches on staff. But I think this is going to be something to watch the match ups the head coaches adjustments. I'll look at all the little things for this game. And it's there's a lot of story lines. But it's to really good too. There's no lopsided now. Like, it was back then like two evenly talented teams going into battle against each other. We're talking to William again is now as I mentioned you sat down Tom Brady. I'm not looking for you to give away the interview. But can you share a takeaway or to what struck you the most about him, and what he had to say to you just how? He's still so motivated and how he loves the game of football. And he's he's relishing the opportunity that he's here again. I know it's his ninth appearance. Right. It's good. His his third second. If he's not talking about any these talking about this time, how special this time is and how much this means to him and the team and how things will probably change that year. It changes every year. You know? But you just don't think about it as a player. You lose coaches were still lose coaches, again, you'll lose players things will change and to be able to get here when nobody gave you an opportunity or nobody gave your sidehill would get to this game. It's pretty special so just kind of reflected on that. And how motivated he is that everybody went against them right early on everybody went against them. It did they did. They really like when he says, they Tracy Wolfson man, everybody thinks we saw things we can win. Did we we really think that we did a collage Jim on our show? We pulled up all the sound bites from all the different shows of everybody's saying how the dynasty over Brady's losing. This team's not the same. I don't know if they can make it how hot from achieves charges all the other teams EV nobody wants to play Baltimore like there's so much. And do you think I said every one of those things? And do you think Bill Belichick pulled all that stuff down? Right. It made a whole little. Hey, guys. This is what they. And just let it run and just let it run. I mean, I know it's coming from him. Now that he's in the gay people like nobody thought that but think about five weeks ago a lot of people thought that what did you think five weeks ago? I think that they needed to go in and self-correct. I watched the tape up broke some things down there were three and five on the road. They were playing back, right? If if the Houston Texans, don't lose the Philadelphia, they're a wildcard, right? Mona road. Think about it. Things wasn't perfect. You know, far as his team the way it shaped out did to get the second seat and how to buy but outside of that they probably could have been on the road as a wildcard team. So things wasn't perfect. But when I went back and broke things down. I was like a lot of that stuff. That's happening to them is self inflicted, and they can correct it. And if you know this team, you notice coaching staff, what do they do better than anybody? They adjust and they make corrections Willie mcginest joining us, and especially when they've got that extra week. So he said Willie that you get your Bill Belichick who's get. Two weeks to get ready for you. It's not going to go. Well for the other guy. I mean, what do you make of that? How tough is it to go up against him when he has that extra week and what's an extra week like as a player. It is tough. It is tough because they're so calculated they prep better than anybody. And they put you in position. And if you're one of those teams, and I'm not saying the Rams are. But if you one of those teams that you're consistent at what you do. They're gonna pick it apart. You know, we saw that with the chargers you come in there with the same scheme that you did against Baltimore. What happened they they ran right through it. You cannot do that. And this team has been the best in the last nineteen years to be able to adjust from week to week and changing their game plan and not giving you the same looks or attacking you differently. But I will say this. There's a guy on the other side of the fence as well. That's as good and sound McVay. I'm not comparing him to build ballot. Check by any means. But I'm saying is I've watched him adjust. I've watched them more game plans and change things from week to week in attack defenses and teams. Differently. So that right there especially within itself because you've got now a young guy it is second season in it's Super Bowl game. That's able to make those adjustments and do some something similar things if della check take away talk Doorly can Jared Goff beat the patriots. If they make him beat, Dan. Can he do anything could happen? I mean, he he can go out. We've seen them throwing for four or five hundred yards like he plays. Well, but can they take ten take Jared Goff out? The game was the question. Can you stop cooks on the outside? What about CJ when they switch up the running backs? You know, what about Robert woods wanted a better route runners in the business like what formations who's going to be the go-to guy? What routes are you going gonna see I think on both sides? You're going to see different things you're not going to see the exact same thing. We saw a couple of weeks ago when his game kicks off. So that's gonna be that's gonna be the started a game. Can you weather? Can you weather? The storm. I drive. It is dry. They have the ball against the chiefs for eight minutes to suck the life right out of him. I mean, yeah, they they came back, right? That that is a soul sucking drive. Right. Eight and a half minutes right down the field on you was that duty for defense. Right. But they bounced back in the good teams. Do that. You understand look. It's a long game. Okay. That happened. Now. We're in the sideline making adjustments. This is what we gotta do same with the Rams their explosive. They're probably more explosive on paper than the patriots. Oh, I think so I think so. But then again, I would have said on paper. The chargers were more talented team. We saw what happened to them win championships. Really one last night. So like you've got you've got Brady one of the greatest partnerships in the history of any sport. I know neither one of these guys are done Tom made it really clear there's zero percent chance that he won't play next year. But ultimately, how does that thing in this Tom go, I this Brady go I go, I go out together. How does that thing end? I'm not sure I think they both still have a big passionate use passion for the game. You know, you talk to Tom. He's like he's like a kid, man. He's enjoying every moment. And every now in you talk to Bill he has a lead up. He's still he's still in the building all day and all night. He's still gain planning. He loves these opportunities. He loves coaching these kids he loves going out there and doing the same thing. So the passion is still there. And when you're so successful, Jim, how can you walk away from something? That's so great like three consecutive Super Bowls. Like, you're winning. You dominating the division your dominating AFC, like a widely any the money on the table. Oh would say, well, I would say this and you can relate to this. Because of the way you worked and still do work. Maybe you lose the passion for the grind. Maybe lose a passion to prepare the impresses me. The most about Brady's. He loves that star. He loves that stuff. And obviously if you love doing that work, and you love preparing Sundays the best day ever it is. And it's a lot of guys in that locker room like that. And that's why they're in this game. They understand the grind. They understand the sacrifice, and it starts at the top. So when you have a bunch of men, and that that that's all they care about. And they know what the end result is which is here. And how sweet it is. Once you win that becomes infectious. Man. It's like a disease like you can never get over that. And that's the expectation. It's not winning a division. It's not winning a playoff game winning AFC championship. It's filling the confetti fall on top of your head and saying we're the best in the world again. Like that that right there is undescribable feeling no matter what you do. You can never you can never get that. Unless you experience it. And then once experience it, it becomes infected you want to keep doing it Willie mcginest you can watch him on NFL game day morning on Sunday and ninety m eastern also look for his sit down with Tom Brady on the NFL network. My man, I appreciate you coming by always stop it in to see me. And I appreciate it really so much to Jim thanks for man. Well, you look great. You look awesome, Willie mcginest one of my all time favorite. Guests representing good to see Willie. It was such an amazing player. Great leader too. Talking about the patriots. When we come back former ram grade, Tori, hold. We'll be joining us. Guys. Never good luck. When you talk a long, bulky, dress shirt. You might think makes you a casual but more than likely you end up looking like a slob. This is why untuckit make shirts that are specifically designed to be worn untucked, a casual shirt, that's not too long. Not too short. "Tell you what you know, what Terry instead of giving you a masterbuilt smoker for that call you give me one for that. Call. What do I get out of it joined right now by part of the program and NFL network analyst three time Super Bowl champ a fifteen year NFL vet sixteen career postseason sacks. That is an NFL record. You can follow him on Twitter and Instagram at William mcginnis, and you can see Willie on NFL game day morning on Sunday at nine AM eastern. And that includes Willie sit down with Tom Brady. William mcginnis is my guest it's up. Big fella. How you feeling Jim? And I saw two stage from afar, and the first thing I Kristen was am I going to a gym? So I gotta make sure always make my rounds. Always get here, man. I appreciate you for a long time. And it's still doing amazing job. And it's always a pleasure, man. Every time I'm on the show. So it's good to be here. Now, will you always say that you don't need to tell me that? But I I so appreciate it. It's really good to see you and you do doing great too. So what do you make of the whole scene you've done this before you've seen this before you know, what the patriots going what's going through there? Mind right now, what do you make of this week to point to this point? I think it's great, man. I think when you look at the production and everything that goes into a game. Like this. You really don't see this as a player until you're on the other side of your retarded, you're out of it. I think it's great to build up. I think there's two great teams about to battle. There's no comparison the Super Bowl thirty six versus fifty three. None of those guys really know anything about it. You know, except for for Brady and Belichick and a couple of coaches on staff. But I think this is going to be something to watch the match ups the head coaches, the judgments, I look at all the little things to this game. And it's there's a lot of story lines. But it's to really good. There's no lopsided now. Like it was back in like two evenly talented teams going into battle against each other. We're talking to Willie mcginest now as I mentioned you sat down with Tom Brady. I'm not looking for you to give away to the interview. But can you share a takeaway or to what struck you the most about him, and what he had to say to you just how? He's still so motivated and how he loves the game of football. And he's he's relishing the opportunity that he's here again. I know it's his ninth appearance. Right. It's good his third second. If he's not talking about any of that. He's talking about this time how special this time is and how much this means to him and the team, and how things are probably changed that year changes every year. You know? But you just don't think about it as a player. You lose coaches were still lose coaches, again, you'll lose players things will change and to be able to get here when nobody gave you an opportunity or nobody. Your shot in the hill that you would get to this game. It's pretty special so just kind of reflected on that. And how motivated he is that everybody went against them right early on everybody went against them. It did they did. They really like when he says, they Tracy Wolfson, man. Everybody thinks we suck things we can win loss. We think that we did a collage Jim on our show. We pulled up all the sound bites from all the different shows if everybody's saying how the dynasty over Brady's losing it. This team's not the same. I don't know if they can make it how hot from chiefs charges all the other teams EV nobody wants to play Baltimore like there's so much. And do you think? I think every one of those things. And do you think Bill Belichick pulled all that stuff down? Right. And made a whole little. Hey, guys. This is what they. And just let it run and just let it run. I mean, I know it's coming from him. Now that he's in the game people like, oh, we're nobody thought that. But think about five weeks ago a lot of people thought that what did you think five weeks ago? I think that they needed to go in and self-correct. I watched the tape. I broke some things down there were three and five on the road. They were playing back, right? If if the Houston Texans don't lose to Philadelphia there a wildcard right Montereau think about it. Things wasn't perfect. You know, far as his team the way out did to get the second seat and how to buy but outside of that they probably could have been on the road as a wildcard team. So things wasn't perfect. But when I went back and broke things down. I was like a lot of that stuff. That's happening to them is self inflicted, and they can correct it. And if you know this team, you notice coaching staff, what do they do better than anybody? They adjust and they make corrections. We'll mcginnis joining us, and especially when they've got that extra week. It's always said Willie that you get your Bill Belichick who's get two weeks to get ready for you. It's not going to go. Well for the other guy. I mean, what do you make of that? How tough is it to go up against him when he has that extra week. And what's that extra week? Like as a player. It is tough. It is tough because they're so calculated they prep better than anybody. They put you in position. And if you're one of those teams, and I'm not saying the Rams are. But if you're one of those teams that you're consistent at what you do. That's as good and Sam McVey, I'm not comparing him to build ballot. Check by any means. But I'm saying is I've watched him adjust. I've watched him more game plans and change things from week to week in attack defenses and teams differently. So that right there, especially within itself. Got now a young guy in his second season in the Super Bowl game. That's able to make those adjustments and do some of the similar things Billy if delicate can take away Todd Gurley can Jared Goff beat the patriots. If they make 'em beat, Dan. Can he do anything can happen? I mean, I can go out. We've seen him throw for four or five hundred yards like he plays. Well, but can they take they take Jared Goff out? The game was the question. Can you stop cooks on the outside? What about CJ when they switch up the running backs? You know, what about Robert woods wanted a better route runners in the business like what formations who's going to be the go-to guy? What routes are you? You're gonna see I think on both sides are going to see different things. You're not going to see the exact same thing. We saw a couple of weeks ago when his game kicks off. So that's gonna be that's going to be the started of the game. Can you weather can you whether the storm I drive it is I I write they have the ball against the chiefs for eight minutes to suck the life right.

"Of Michigan sports. Sports talk. Ten fifty WT Cayenne Arbor ticket. A Cumulus station. That's true. I am Jim Rome. I am live on radio row site of Super Bowl. Fifty three games not played on the row. But you know, what I'm talking about? I'm living my best life. We are having an amazing Wednesday program. Our number one in the books in case you joining us late. We already had a conversation with Shawn Watson. Also a Baker Mayfield, John. Macklemore? Marquees goodwin. Coming up this hour right now. My man William mcginnis on the clock. He is fulfilling some obligations with NFL network Queen around him down a few moments. Also coming up later on this hour, a Rams point of view, former ram grade, Tori, hold and he's been breaking down the Rams in and around the media center. He's got a lot of really good information. Great energy, Tori hall. It's coming up at twenty past later on this hour. Carson Palmer will be on the row and back in the jungle. So that's how our two sets up third hour. We may or may not have Robbie gold. If not that's an open segment few. Clones, I'm still trying to get away that smoker also next hour juju Smith, Schuster and saquon Barkley so Wednesday. We are wall to wall. Meantime, I've got a break in the action right now is I'm efforting Willie mcginest. You should take advantage of a telephone number is one eight zero zero six three six eight six eight six call me up on Twitter. Bidder. And hops tweets why did Willie mcginest never going to coaching his knowledge of the game. And the leadership he showed during his playing years seemed like he'd be perfect for coaching. I can't speak for him. Maybe ask him you'd be a helicopter Willie mcginest will be a great coach the way he sees the game the kind of respect the he commands he's another one of those guys when he walks in the room, you know, he's somebody when Willie McGuinness walkington room, you know, it, and that's because physically he's pretty large person. He just has again that it. And we're gonna run him down momentarily want to get his thoughts. And also, obviously is close with Tom Brady's with patriots. And I want to see what he thought about how they looked earlier in the season and how it's all going to go down on Sunday. On top of that other topics. I may get to it a lot going on in the NBA the Lakers trying to hold on trying to make a deal before the trade deadline. Anthony Davis busted out he bust down and said that he wanted to be dealt that he's not going to resign in New Orleans. And then got fined fifty fifty gore for saying that you can't just come out and say I want to be traded. You really think that guy cares about fifty grand? I mean, nobody wants to stroke at check you think a guy who just left two hundred and forty million dollars on the table in a supermax extension really gives a damn about fifty grand mass probably walking around with that money in his pocket right now. So can the Lakers make a deal before the deadline or my man del damps or the big west conference would del Dem's make deal before waiting for the Celtics to jump into it, which they can and will in the summertime, and if you Lakers, can you somehow leverage that and get a pack together in time to get him out of there. I. Jimmy, d eighty seven tweets. This cat is the truth. John. Macklemore mark. He's goodwin. They both are. Matt in Palm Springs tweets. Baker Mayfield haiku. Baker is top pick leads Brown's to seven big wins. The playoff win next year. Daniel. Buck tweets, this is all Baker reaction, by the way, Daniel bucks, which OMG the true goat is on Jim Rome right now, the QB for the real America's team is feeling dangerous with Romney, actually, he wasn't. He wasn't dangerous. He didn't come here. Looking at take anybody apart? He's locked in man. He is really consistent in the way carries himself the way he prepares Gaza star. He is a star. And they got the right guy. They got the right coach they got the right quarterback. But it's more than just that. Nobody talked so much about ballot. Check and Brady Brady umbrella Jack best quarterback or best coach player relationship in the history of any sports, maybe but the Browns they they have a great coach quarterback relationship. But there's so much more than that. There is so much young talent on both sides of the ball there. This is why keep calling them America's team not only for that talent. But for the way, they go out and the way they do it in the way, they win even the way they lose. I can't take my eyes off their America's team. Freddie kitchens is America's coach and America's quarterback finally made it over to the jungle on radio row. Another reason to do radio row. Look these guys are here to pitch things. Right. We understand this. But if it will get you a good sit down and good access to a guy that you ordinarily might not have it's fine. It's good. In fact, it's better than good. And I've got something to pitch to you. A masterbuilt smoker. Best. Call gets it. Or it could be a tweet or it can be an Email as well. Check it out Keith Arnold back in our so studios. Why don't you hit me with the call screen? Just in case is I'm efforting Willie right now. We're live on the row. It is cold. It is cold in the AT L. Of course, I don't really go outside much donates. You the way this thing set up to get a phone call in here really quickly before I go to Willie mcginest Terry in Boise. Good to have you Terry. "Of John's not available. That's okay. There's been little us in the past. I'll talk embarrassed football and expand the focus beyond the usual suspects. Like the Rams this year and the saints with the big game looming tomorrow inside the Superdome on that. Next year who belongs in the legitimate playoff conversation in the NFC. We'll get there. Coming up update on the college football top twenty five scoreboard, Ohio State has scored to reclaim the lead. But there are a major battle at home with Nebraska, and that's a major surprise buckeyes number ten in the nation merely on top twenty three twenty one four minutes to go third quarter, keep you posted. And every time I look at my computer. It seems Clemson has scored again, this is just an utter beatdown with three minutes to go third quarter. Bobby portray does team has imploded without Lamar Jackson moving out the Baltimore as a first round pick volt winless in the ACC that's not going to change. Clemson now lease that game fifty six to three Tigers out enrolling number two in the nation on their way to another victory and very much in control their path to the playoff. They're not gonna lose the game. I don't see a lost their undefeated ACC champs right back into the final four. So I promise bears conversation. It's a national platform. So I don't wanna get bogged down too much doing my mic north you talk about a guy impersonation but the bears. I don't think have gotten enough national credit now, I know that they have allowed some games to allude them. But they're going to beat the bills tomorrow. Not only because I think Chicago is that's improved. They're playing Nathan Peterman. I've not talked about Colin Kaepernick too much. And I know a lot of you get a little bit uptight. When sports and politics are mentioned in the same sentence. I'm not scored, but I want this to be a program of mass appeal still if Nathan Peterman has a job in the National Football League. And Colin Kaepernick does not case closed. There is your collusion argument. And we'll see what happens as that arbitration continues with capper Nick having his claim against the NFL so much cargo Winston more to go to five and three. What should we make of the bears? Well, we got to see more at a Mitchell Trubisky who has made great strides because the bears follow the Rams blueprint, and why would they innovative younger head coach Matt Nagy who's changed the entire offense profile the issue for Trubisky? I don't think this was discussed and up last year. Go back to his college career only made thirteen starts. At North Carolina. Just does not have enough experience yet and learning on the job in the NFL is a monumental challenge. So if the Rams already virtually have that division locked up. I'm not shitting Seattle. But Seattle is three games back in the loss column. The Rams have the head to head victory after the Rams take on the saints tomorrow. The Rams play Seattle a week from now coming up when they get back from their trip to the by you. So let's put the Rams in as division champs NFC east. You wanna ride with Washington, I'm not buying it. Although they have a real chance of beating the falcons in our nation's capital tomorrow. The go-to six into I'll take the eagles to win that division NFC south. I'll go saints. But in addition to what's going on with the saints tomorrow look at their last three games of the year. Carolina, Pittsburgh, and then Carolina again so lot could change with the saints. But let's just say it's going to be two teams from the south much like we saw last year when three teams came from that rugged division and made it to the postseason. So you can go with whatever team you want to saints Panthers. Both getting into the postseason like Minnesota wins that division, and then we're looking at who's going to be the last wildcard in the NFC, and I'm not sleeping on our Rogers at all in fact, if I'm going to be transparent, I'm a huge Arron Rogers fan. Boy, you can't see the pop palms because it's not a simulcast, but I pump up Aaron Rodgers every chance I get and the distinction I make in advance of the game that we're all looking forward to tomorrow. Nine primetime Sunday night football on NBC. There's no question. Tom Brady is the most accomplished quarterback of all time with the five rings. I'm Montana fan. And if I wanted to make the Montana argument it we sound like this Montana undefeated in a Super Bowls. Never threw an interception. But even though I'm not good. At math. Brady's got five Montana's got four advantage Brady and Brady is the rating MVP, and he's forty one years old and arguably should have won the MVP that you're before but wasn't going to get it. Because he missed the four games due to deflate gate still having said all of that. I think Aaron Rodgers is the best quarterback currently playing. If you want to have the conversation about all time, this is tough. But I am paid to come up with interesting logic. Here's the problem. Trying to make the argument. The Rogers is the best quarterback of all time greatest. The goat is Brady best quarterback skillset individual ability. How do you justify if he only has one ring? And if we're gonna have that all time conversation. Here's a good one. Who's the greatest quarterback in the history of the Packers go old school? You gotta get Bart star credit. In addition to the victories in Super Bowl one and to a myriad of NFL championships prior to the birth of the Super Bowl. What about Brett farve at all his records? That's a good one to kick around. If you live in Wisconsin, they're looking for conversation. So let me narrow my focus because we're doing all time not doing rush. Moore's today. I got too much content. I prepared too much stuff. I don't need Rushmore. Or does Pete Rose belong in the hall of fame? Let's discuss I'll be taking your phone calls on the other side. Let's narrow the focus to current quarterbacks. I contend Aaron Rodgers is the best quarterback currently play. But a large measure because he got hurt last year. Came back for that game against Carolina fell short. Green Bay did not make the playoffs. If you haven't looked at the schedule beyond what's coming up tomorrow. Sunday night. Football's going to do a monster number with Green Bay on the road at New England Green Bay when they lose that game. I think they will. Although the patriots still have major defensive issues. Packers will fall two three four and one. Bounceback opportunity next week playing the dolphins. Could be Brock Osweiler again Packers win that game. But after that they go on the road to Seattle on the road to Minnesota with the real possibility. The Packers will have lost three or four games. I think it's a stretch to say the Packers aren't gonna make the postseason as much as I admire everything. Aaron Rodgers does who's going to pay the price is not going to be on Rogers? Nor should it be. And he just got paid as he deserved to for a very long time. Probably going to be Mike McCarthy not comfortable that because the other mitigating factor when we try to compare Aaron Rodgers to Tom Brady is coaching. In addition to supporting cast, Arron Rogers, clearly unquestionably has done more with less for years. Go back to a couple of years ago when he had nothing surrounding him. Remember all of the injuries in the secondary Rogers with that epic comeback on the road in the playoffs against Dallas took a Green Bay team that had no business making that kind of impact in the postseason all the way to the NFC championship game. What Ty Montgomery was originally installed as a running back and tie. Enjoy your time in Baltimore you've earned it. What about coaching and it gets nuanced here because how do you separate ballot? Check from Brady who deserves the majority of the credit. Well, if you remember the birth of that dynasty. A young Tom Brady before he had the metamorphosis was more of a game manager knows patriot early Super Bowls came primarily in retrospect based on what was going on with the defense Tedy Bruschi, our friend. William mcginnis lawyer Malloy and the rest ballot. Check probably deserves most of the credit for the early Super Bowls. Well. Who is Aaron Rodgers had to work with? So Mike McCarthy has some urgency moving forward. At the Packers failed to make the playoffs with our in Rogers healthy enough to play this season and missed the postseason for the second consecutive year. Feels like McCarthy will pay the price I'm not exaggerating. When I say every time I look at my computer, Clemson scored again, it is now sixty three to three Tigers destroying Louisville. Anders fifty four seconds ago. Third quarters the clubs are now just piling it on. Louisville has scored computer was slowed update. Their extra point on the way. The current score is Clemson on top of the Dole's sixty three to nine doesn't matter. But I know people might have more than a passing interest in that game. Clemson absolutely laying it on Bobby Pacino's team of more interest and more competitive game with too much go third quarter. It's number ten Ohio State clinging to the twenty three twenty one lead. Surprisingly, that's the margin over Nebraska. I'll keep you posted. Straight ahead. We'll wrap up the show with gusto. I'll pick every game on the NFL schedule. That's next the Brian Weber show on NBC sports radio. NBC sports radio dot com. Right.

"M I co host from Lake Tahoe. Our good friend Willie mcginest joining us and Willie. Let's get to a guy that I'm sure, you know, fairly well that of course, Matt Patricia former defensive coordinator of the New England Patriots rookie coaching debut as a head coach with the Detroit Lions did not go. Well, Monday night losing to the New York Jets his defense, given up forty eight points, and maybe even worse than that Willie. The fact is the jets defense saying they knew what was coming. They knew a plays are being called was that just a failure of coaching on all sides of the football for Detroit starting with Matt Patricia or our sales a breakdown in a lot of different phases of the game. And it was a tough debut for Matt Patricia. But you know, there was a lot of plays out there that you just really didn't understand him players cut out bragging, they're not in the same division, which makes it a little bit odd to me. So they probably did their homework. They had great preparation bay came out in one in every single phase of the game from special teams offense defense you name it they dominated and you know, kudos to the New York Jets. They played a great football game. But on the other side of the ball. I don't think the season's over nobody's winning Super Bowls a week one. And there's so much that needs to be made. And I'm sure Matt going to attack all those different things going to be a rough week in Detroit. And I'm not ready to say that he's failed as a coach that makes no sense to me. Now after one football game will you chase down more than your share of quarterbacks in your lengthy NFL career assess what you saw from Sam darnold. The youngest starting quarterback to start a season since the AFL NFL merger in one thousand nine hundred seventy s this performance. The biggest thing that that struck me that I saw was how he reacted after he do the pick six to start. That would rattle a lotta your quarterbacks in that which is not down. And he took it off. Cayman continue to play as by it made big plays. He went down to Robbie Anderson wasn't gun shy at all came in their poise just continue to make plays. That says a lot about him his character and his resolve as a player and after I saw that I was happy. I was happy for my fellow Trojan. I was excited for them. And like I said as defenders in defense of coordinators, we do a lot to try to rattle young quarterbacks. And he was not he was now without rattled at all. No, not at all tremendous debut, for of course, Sam darnold after throwing that initial pick six you, of course, Willie were in Foxborough patriots opening the season against the Texans. Does Shawn Watson a lot of people the MVP conversation. I had said going into this season. Let's slow the role a little bit under Shawn Watson. I think he's going to be a very good quarterback. Let's not anoint him an MVP at what are the patriots due to confuse, Sean? Well, only seven starts. So you know, he's gonna make mistakes is still a little bit of trial and error there. Nobody's perfect week one. I'll say that about a lot of quarterbacks. I'll watch. In week one is this this week. But as far as Watson, I think they learn their lesson from the first meeting you have to keep him in the pocket. It makes him throw from the pocket. He's still got out of the pocket a little bit. But for the most part they have sex. They had 'em rattlesnake. Kept him inside the pocket. Didn't let him out to make those plays athletic quarterback like Watson or Russell Wilson. Or drew Brees or seventy or Aaron Rodgers for that matter once they get out of the pocket there so accurate with throwing the ball, and they can run. So now, you gotta do threat. And most of these guys that I named look to throw before running it's tough for defensive backs to cover that long. So they gotta make a decision. A lot of guys they lose their man in coverage. Like we saw Rogers in Green Bay guys don't plaster. They they'll stay with the receivers day go into a scramble drill and they make big plays. They were able to. To avoid that. And I think they learned from the first time and played them to what is supposed to play three times Super Bowl champ. NBC sports radio football insider, William mcginnis, joining us, go and deep Dan Schwartzman. NBC sports radio Willie James Connor had quite the season debut. I know he had that big fumble though for Pittsburgh. No, leave YoM bell didn't seem to be an issue. How much of that is the system. I think James Connor is a good. You know is a good runner. That's why he was drafted there. I don't you know, I'm not gonna put himself. It's just a good system. I think they got a solid office of line. I think he was motivated and determined to go out and play at a certain level. I think he's a young talented back is bell. No. He doesn't do everything that Bill does. But does he work within what they're trying to do? Yes. I I still think that levian bell brings a whole nother element to the game. As far as his pass catching him being a space. You know makes it tougher to game plan against into stop. He's a different ad. Animal, but I think James Connor came in. And he did his job. I think he's the heir-apparent. I'll think Levy on bill's going to be there next year. So this was a good performance for him. A good confidence builder. I think it was great for his office of line in his offense is offense coordinator to see. He can be productive in that system and going forward, you know, he's going to be the guy until Bill gets there. I guess and going forward I think next year is his is his job to lose willy. I'm gonna put you in the shoes of Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Dirk cutter and they had a tremendous opener. I mean defense could play a little better. But offensively says good as you get if Ryan Fitzpatrick over the course of the next two games against what the eagles. I think the Steelers now exactly though for four touchdowns run for another four hundred yards every week. But if he plays at a high level and looks to be in control the way did against New Orleans once Jameis Winston comes off to suspended list Willie mcginest says Dirk cutter what do you do? I could already tell you what he's gonna do. He's gonna star riot Fitzpatrick. I know he played at a high level and the chemistry was there. He made some great plays down the field. He was poised. He ran the ball. He took care of the football. And. You know, I think this is this is something dare cutters under a little bit of pressure to win this year. So I think he's going to go with the best opportunity that gives them the ability to do that. Now will say this we've seen this for Ryan Fitzpatrick in the past he starts off. He plays some great games. And then he falls off can the question is can he play at a consistent level can play at this level being tired time. And I think as long as he has the hot head, and he's playing the way he did week one. And those teams you name has some really good defense is so it's gonna be a struggle. We'll see can you play at a high level. I think he's the starter going forward, regardless of when you know, James western comes back the Andrew luck. We saw against the Cincinnati Bengals was that the old lock right yet. Not yet. We we. We saw him short eighty media passing game. Didn't. Really throw the ball down the field. You know, outside of the, you know, throw the Eric Brahm. Outside of that. I think they understand that they need to get the ball out of his hands. He doesn't need to hold the ball and take chances enforce plays and take the unnecessary. Hip. I saw the one hit you know, that the player Gotti. Therefore for those are the things you don't wanna see forbearance. We look you. Don't want to see him be a reckless running the ball taking unnecessary hits. You wanna see a protect yourself because they do need them. I think all the Indianapolis Colts fans, you know, how to pick sides when that happened. But he's he's he's coming along. I'm not saying he's there yet where he was. I think he's coming along and they're bringing them along slowly, which I think is the right is the right way to go chat with willing to Guinness tear going deep. Dan schwartzman. NBC sports radio. Sean McDermott says he's got to examine the film to decide on what he's going to do in terms of a quarterback for week to really I mean. I mean, what are you do really what are you doing buffalo that quarterback situation going forward? I don't think you need to examine the film to see what it was it was it was performance all the way around. And you know, you you've seen this before with Nathan Peterman. But you know, the big question is do you want to put Josh out there? Yeah. How are you going to win football games? I think you've got to devise a system you don't want your young quarterback getting discouraged getting hit getting beat up. You want him to go out there and have a chance. So I think wise, you definitely got to run the ball. You've got to run the football. You got to come up with plays to get the ball out of their quarterback's hands, regardless if it speaking, you just gotta move the ball. I don't care if it's eighty eighty yards. And I don't know how many plays down the field as long as you can get the ball in the end zone a score points. But the one thing you can't do is put your quarterback in harm's way. And it was just no production. And he didn't have to look at the film. See that you know. He's got a good coaching staff. And they understand that they're going to have to make adjustments before they throw a gun quarterback was their franchise quarterback in the fire Willie last question. I the Dallas Cowboys I'm watching that offense. And I'm thinking to myself, and I have to get your thoughts. Here is that just a lack of talent on offense at the skill positions at the wide receiver. Of course, the tight end position or is also a combination of just a lack of creativity coaching wise with Scotland and hand that offense. I think they got out of what they do best. It was almost going into the fourth quarter. Three quarters in Zeke, only had came cares Zeke Elliott has ten carry crazy. I understand they're going to put people in the box. But they've been doing his entire career the run game for this team. Opens up the passing game. It always has since Linda has been there. So I think you take pressure off the quarterback by running the football more effectively. I think they have guys that can play at the receiver position. I'm not gonna sit here and say, they don't have anybody. I've seen guys all those receivers stuff with a young gal a me. I know. He's no. But I've seen Beasley. You know, I've seen what you know that the other guys Williams of some of the other guys make plays before. They've got a baby got back to what they do. Their identity is being physical running the football. And then things opened up down the field. And I think got away from that. They wear past got a little too pass. Happy got out of character. And what you get behind. You know, it's tough. Because now you eliminate the running game you gotta pass the ball, and you become one dimensional necessarily where one dimensional the offense was atrocious. "Football insider, make sure to catch on the NFL network M I coz from Lake Tahoe. Our good friend. William mcginnis joining us and Willie. Let's get to a guy that I'm sure, you know, fairly well that of course, Matt Patricia former defensive coordinator of the New England Patriots rookie coaching debut as a head coach of the Detroit Lions did not go. Well, Monday night losing to the New York Jets his defense giving up forty eight points, and maybe even worse than that. Really? The fact is the jets defense saying they knew what was coming. They knew a plays or being called was that just a failure of coaching on all sides of the football for Detroit starting with Matt Patricia or say it was a breakdown in a lot of different phases of the game. And it was a tough debut for Matt Patricia. But you know, there was a lot of plays out there that you just really didn't understand and players coming out. Bragging they're not in the same division, which makes it a little bit odd to me. So they probably did their homework. They had great preparation bay came out in one in every single phase of the game from special teams offense defense you name it state-dominated, and you know, kudos to the New York Jets. They play great football game. But on the other side of the ball. I don't think the season's over nobody's winning Super Bowls a week one. And there's so much that needs to be made. And. I'm sure Matt. Attack. All those different things going to be a rough week in Detroit. The biggest thing that that struck me that I saw was how he reacted after he threw the pick six to start that would rattle a lot of your quarterbacks in that which is knock him down. And he shook it off. Cayman continue to play unsafe by made big plays. He went down to Robbie Anderson wasn't gun shy at all came in their poise just kitchen you to make plays. That says a lot about him his character and his resolve as a player and after I saw that I was happy. I was happy for my fellow Trojan. I was excited for them. And like I said as defenders in defense of coordinators, we do a lot to try to rattle young quarterbacks. And he was not it was now rattle at all. No, not at all tremendous debut, for of course, Sam darnold after throwing that initial pick six you, of course, really were in Foxborough patriots opening the season against the Texans. Does Shawn Watson a lot of people the MVP conversation. I had said going into this season. Let's slow the role a little bit under Shawn Watson. I think he's going to be a very good quarterback. Let's not anoint him an MVP at what are the patriots due to confused. Sean. Well, only seven starts. So you know, he's gonna make mistakes. It's still a little bit of trial and error there. Nobody's perfect your week one. I'll say that about a lot of quarterbacks. I'll watch. In week one is this this week. But as far as Watson, I think they learned their lesson from the first meeting you have to keep him in the pocket. It makes him throw from the pocket. He's still got out of the pocket a little bit for the most part they have sex. They had 'em rattlesnake. Kept him inside the pocket. Didn't let him out to make those loose plays athletic quarterback like Watson or Russell Wilson. Or drew Brees or seventy or air arrives. For that matter. Once they get out of the pocket. There's so accurate with throwing the ball, and they could run. So now, you gotta do threat. And most of these guys that I named look to throw before running it's tough for defensive backs to to cover that long. So they gotta make a decision. A lotta guys they lose their man in coverage. Like we saw Rogers in Green Bay guys don't plaster. They they'll stay with the receivers day go into a scramble drill and they make big plays. They were able to avoid that. And I think they learned from the first time and played them the way they supposed to play three time Super Bowl champ NBC sports radio. Football insider, Willie mcginnis joining us, go deep Dan Schwartzman. NBC sports radio Willie James Connor had quite the season debut. I know he had that big though for Pittsburgh. No, leave YoM bell didn't seem to be an issue. How much of that is the system. I think James Connor is a good. You know is a good runner. That's why he was drafted there. I don't you know, I'm not gonna put himself. It's just a good system. I think they got a solid all sorts of line. I think he was motivated and determined to go out and play at a certain level. I think he's a young talented back is bell. No. He doesn't do everything that Bill does. But does he worked with what they're trying to do? Yes. I I still think that levian bell brings a whole nother element to the game. As far as his pass catching him being your space. You know makes it tougher to game plan against into stop. He's. He's a different animal, but I think James Connor came in. And he did his job. I think he's the heir-apparent. I'll think Levy I'm Bill is going to be there next year. So this was a good performance for him. A good confidence builder. I think it was great for his office of line in his offense in his office coordinator to see he can be productive in that system in going forward. McGuinness is a very nice guy I like Willie Lott was a heck of a football. Player always showed up in the postseason so I remember William mcginnis patriots colts goal line stand Volley mcginnis fake injuries left and right on that drive but Dallas. Some stop by the patriots defense I. Remember I brought that up to Willie wants and I was in actually Indianapolis and he goes. You to be quiet they don't like me around here And I brought up the Ted Johnson who actually does a, show on our one of our Phillies we're. Dropping names her left and right by the way, after our CBS sports radio and, I was telling that play Ted Johnson. And teddy Johnson goes to me Yeah Washington was on the defensive. Line he goes, man Ted Washington was so. Big you could project the movie off his butt playing, linebacker which is a great, quote but getting back to the Jimmy g.. Story so mcginnis taps Jimmy g. on the shoulder and he, goes you're, Garoppolo? Right, Jimmy nice kid, goes, yeah nice to meet, you. Sir and then will he, goes I've got a feeling I'm about to call your name here in a. Bit that's what McGuinness. Said forty minutes before the second round draft pick Garoppolo in this article says he thought. Will he was be asking him just being a nice, guy and then we all know what. Happened Jimmy g. gets drafted by the New England. Patriots so I wonder if willy had some inside info, there he just went off a gut. Feeling Can. You see ballot check even though he loves Willie mcginest, ballot check going willy you're out to. The draft pick coming up at forty minutes but. Lily we're going to draft you know you gotta keep, it quiet we're going to go draft This kid I. Think he's going to be, the heir-apparent Tom we're going to, go draft. This kid Jimmy Garoppolo. They call, him Jimmy I'm not gonna. Call him Jimmy g. but They. Call him Jimmy j.. Can you see ballot check reveal that information Jolly Mr., Belcher yeah right Maybe it was bears Jerry and ballot checks guy who maybe. Tipped, off Mr. mcginnis who knows though now one other part of the, story though so in this whole Bleacher report article after the patriots traded Jimmy g. he's? Going to, the airport in a limo service almost got in a car accident can you imagine. If there, was actually a car accident you know. All the conspiracy theorists on Bella checks trying to sabotage. Jimmy j. here's the patriots and, again you heard that, out of the wazoo so I have no problem with the Jimmy, g. comments if. You want to be confident you're confident zero breath you think you're better than Brady think. You're better, than Brady now let's be, realistic a lot of work to. Do, on that football field. Before you better to Tom Brady but. Yeah if. I'm a professional athlete I just come out. Of college yeah picking on the best I don't have any problem with that all right let's talk some college football, playoffs will do so Craig and Michigan first up, in the five AM eastern time hours. That Galvin CBS sports radio and framing Lawrence what's up Craig You know I'm a Niner fan so I mean I have, to say something All right first, of all you got Cal shaven hand who left it Lanta and you know Matt Ryan goes. From thirty, seven thirty eight in. Nine, touchdowns interceptions, to twenty one and twelve In from four thousand nine hundred yards to four, thousand yard death, not a coincidence man, I mean that's that's. Like Cal Shanahan and so I think that that's going to translate over. To. Jimmy Garoppolo if he stays healthy and he's a, which, you know obviously he's he's talented he can win games I think he's gonna definitely increase his death but to the, college, playoff sure I like the eighteen thing because like you say man?.

"Oh boy how about that one I felt the Lord. Of the board. Fronted some, chaos here, it's after hours, CBS, sports, Radio, Zet Galvin framing Lawrence south Jimmy Jimmy g. Jimmy j. who I think is now Feldman's. Favorite quarterback just for his dating selection and then I guess whenever they eventually break up and that's a failed relationship. Will start to root for somebody else He spoke to Bleacher report, and there's a lot of juicy quotes out of this. One Jimmy g. said I, thought in my, head I'm better than this dude it was always a, quiet confidence that's Jimmy g. talking on Tom Brady and some people are, gonna say oh how stupid is hey how do, you think that you're better than the goat. Tom Brady clearly he's not better than Tom. Brady but you gotta have some confidence have your professional athlete if I'm a. Professional athlete I'm always thinking I'm the best I am and look at Tom Brady Tom, Brady, walked in when he was, drafted by the. New, England. Patriots the six round? Draft pick one ninety nine overall he didn't go out to. The positional coach. He didn't go up, to the head, coach he, didn't, go up to the current quarterback at the time and Drew Bledsoe he went up to. The owner of the team and Tom Brady at that time said hey my name is Tom Brady and Robert Kraft So the story goes says oh yeah you're a sixth round draft pick he goes yeah, and, I'm the best decision this team's ever made So you need. That confidence now Tommy expressed it Jimmy g. didn't express it until after he left the England in Bleacher report so. I'm fine with that and, I wish, we could really see the relationship between those, two, because you're all these things. That Tom went to Craft and said we gotta get. Jimmy Atta fear because I still want apply and ballot check maybe wanted to go to to Jimmy g. and then you hear all that ballot check took, less from the bra ov from the forty Niners could've got more from the Browns while, the parliament, a good position so maybe ballot check is motivated to put them. In a good spot in sag told you selling all that who, knows what is, actually true with that but I would love to see these. Guys compete because Jimmy, g. seems like a competitor Tom Brady we know. He's, one of the most fierce competitors I've ever seen. And Jimmy, g. in this article, said on his relationship with Brady. We got along but there were always times we wanted to kill each.
