Poll: Democrats Now Sympathize More With Palestinians Than Israelis

"Is the baron Boris Epstein. Welcome back to America first. Happy Friday. Happy Friday my friend. It's an honor to be with you and honor me with the audience that is beautiful Friday it is president Trump dominating the polling winning all across the spectra putting on putting out powerful videos but a great week. Yeah, we played clips for two clips from his video at the top of the show. If he keeps on doing that, he will be just fine substantive policy videos, but you mentioned polling. Let's talk about a poll that I'm sure disturbs you, my dear friend. This is from the daily caller, Kate Anderson. I need you to react, especially when it comes to how these people vote in the federal elections. Democrats now sympathize more with Palestinians than Israel for the first time in decades, the latest polling, this just blows my mind. This is from Gallup Boris. Help me understand this. Now, 49% of registered Democrats have a preferential view of the Palestinian authority over Israel and the pro Israel vote has sunk to 39%. Do these people not understand the difference between these two communities? They do not understand it. And it is absolutely disappointing, depressing and awful, that the left in America, Ilhan Omar, she looked like AOC, Jim Clyburn, Nancy Pelosi. Their push to anti Israel, anti zionist, like beyond anti semitic agenda so far that now as well as pulling low solo with American public. President Trump stood for his move the U.S. embassy to Jerusalem he took out from Soleimani, he fought for Israeli independence. He recognized the goal on heights and he was the best friend to the State of Israel, really an American history, but now you've got the left, let's just be honest, there isn't just about being anti Israeli or anti zionist, anti semitic.

"To think the jets in the packers definitely know and they're just making it not known because they don't want to upset him. And we're all tip tone around. Waiting for him to decide, okay, I'll go to the jets. And then there was a report over the weekend that the jets and the packers agreed on compensation just waiting on him and both sides boarded they pushed back on that. Whatever. I'm sorry. Whatever. So here's an interesting thought. Man, that but when we're on draft night and we're sitting there waiting to find out, hopefully. Wait, does that mean we're going? We collectively is an NFL loving nation. We'll be hopefully still wondering who the Panthers are going to take. And then there's the Texans sitting there too. then instead of one, and then there's the colts sitting at four, as opposed to one would think, what? They finished four and 12 and one. If they had finished 5 11 in one, they'd be sitting there down at 7. Seattle would have wound up fourth. And the reason why I'm mentioning this a fourth and 20 in tech in Houston down 7, not in Houston. They were down 7 against Indianapolis and won that game. And it changed everything. Bears go to number one, Texans dropped it to colts move up to four. And I'm just sitting here thinking on draft night if we're still thinking about that moment in week 18. I think we will be. We'll be talking about that depending on who the Carolina takes and who the bears take and who Houston winds up with. We'll be talking about that for a long time. Because boy did that change a ton of fortunes. And then Indianapolis wound up four. As opposed to all the way down at 7, and if they get the quarterback that they want, but man, do they appear to be in a tough spot because they didn't move up to one. And I'm wondering if Ryan polls called Chris Ballard at any point in time said, hey, man, I got this deal from Carolina. You want to match it. And he's got to be like for three spots. I'll give you a little bit less than what Carolina's offering you. For three spots and then you still get a terrific player at four. Yeah, I don't think that's going to happen. And now they're sitting there at four. And the team that just keeps on seemingly losing out at the quarterback spot ever since Andrew Luck says I'm out. They keep trying to fill that spot. Year after year after year, they're trying to put sandbags on the situation. And they keep getting overrun at the quarterback spot. They're sitting there at four. And if Stroud and I think you can assume Stroud and young, gone, see ya. Can you get Anthony Richardson at four? As we're sitting here on March 13th, I don't think you can say that because I think somebody's going to flip up to Arizona. If you were quarterback. Hopes and plans are dependent on Arizona not trading out of three. Falling in love with will Anderson, Jalen Carter clears his name, if you're banking on that after what you just saw, that's too much of a risk. It's too risky. Do you trade something to get up to three? So you know you get somebody named Richardson young or Stroud that you're fine with any of them? And you're evaluation of Richardson's drought or young is like it's worth it. And again, I think it's Richardson who's going to be the third man out as of right now. I don't know. His pro day will probably be like a Christmas tree, all lit up. But so will Stroud and so will young's. And then those guys will go on visits and they'll impress again. Here's the question I have for you for the Indianapolis Colts. If you know you're spending your fourth round, your fourth overall pick on a quarterback and it could be either Richardson or levis. And let's just say it's Richardson. Let's just throw it out there and you got a 6 foot four quarterback who can run four, four, and throw it a mile. And he starts at The Rookie salary scale of whatever it is. And you got him for 5 years. That's in one hand. The other hand is, you take that fourth round selection. And your first next year. And you go visit Lamar Jackson. And you say, what's up? Nice 90 was that. On Wednesday, when you're allowed to talk to him. What's up? What's the number? How you doing? How are you? Lamar. What's your number? And do you like shrimp cocktail? Yes. Would you like race cars? What do you think? Do you like miles Turner? Do you like. That? I don't know. Tyrese Albert. You're like, I don't know. Why you don't kick that tire other than the fact you don't want to pay him all that money and or do the Raven's work for them once again, the ravens have a right to match. And if you get him to agree to anything less than what he demanded from the ravens, the ravens might just jump on your paperwork from your legal staff and all the hard work you did with team Lamar and

Was Alexander Vindman Trying to Profit Off the Ukraine War?

"Jack posobiec is my co host for the full hour. Just kind of build out a little bit more. How did you obtain these documents? Alexander vindman is pitching the Ukrainian government and time of war for something he would obviously make a lot of money off of. Why is this significant? Well, Charlie, this is significant because we've received a briefing that was conducted in September of 26 of 2022 from Alexander vindman, vindman, his twin brother, as well as an individual named Steven M Anderson called the Ukrainian weapons systems sustainment center concept overview. Now there's a company that's inman and his brother have set up called tried and support as a defense contractor. What they are trying to do. So Charlie, you remember this, that the big fight in veneman was out there all last year, saying we need to send more tanks to Ukraine, more tanks, more weapons, bigger tanks, bigger weapons, bigger bombs, bigger missiles, airplanes, aircraft, and not just the old Soviet stuff, no, no, no. We need to send the American stuff. We need to send the high top shelf kind of equipment over to Ukraine. Well, while he was doing that publicly, the same individual Alexander veneman, who played a massively outsized role in destabilizing the relationship between the United States, Ukraine, and Russia. On the back end, what was he doing? When he wasn't on MSNBC demanding the tanks be sent over, he was pitching the Ukrainian government to give him a contract to defense contract for millions of dollars up to $12 million just to get started to do what? He wanted to create a maintenance and logistics center to be staffed. Not of course, by him. You know, he's never actually put on the uniform and going over to join the volunteer forces here. No, no, no, no, no. Vindman wants the contracts to get the money from the middle, which is of course underwritten by the United States government, which is obviously underwritten by you, the taxpayer, the American people. Because he wants to put these logistic centers for those American tanks, those American vehicles, that American equipment, he wants the maintenance contracts for at Charlie. It's a grift.

New Video Shows Brian Sicknick Appeared Healthy Following Jan. 6

"Here's the clip that shows officer Brian sicknick. This is supposedly after the time where he was assaulted with some sort of spray, whether it was bear spray or mace, The New York Times falsely claimed that he was bludgeoned to death with a fire extinguisher, Anderson Cooper on CNN repeated that bald faced lie. It turned out to be completely false. He died of a stroke, the day after the riot, and the medical examiner ruled that it was a death by natural causes. But so here's the clip. If this is tough. The Brian sicknick should not be reduced to a prop for the political ambitions of the Democratic Party. He was a human being. The facts of his life matter, including how he died. To this day, media accounts describe sicknick as someone who was, quote, slain on January 6th. The video we reviewed proves that is a lie. Here is surveillance footage of sicknick walking in the capitol after he was supposedly murdered by the mob outside. By all appearances, sicknick is healthy and vigorous. He's wearing a helmet, so it's hard to imagine he was killed by a head injury. Whatever happened to Brian sicknick was very obviously not the result of violence he suffered at the entrance to the capitol. This tape overturns the single most powerful and politically useful eye that Democrats have told us about January 6th. And it was indeed a lie. The January 6th committee knew perfectly well that Brian sicknick was walking normally through the capitol after he was supposedly murdered by Trump supporters, and they know that because they saw this tape.

Fauci's Effort to Disprove China Lab Leak

"Consider this on April 17th of 2020, when Doctor Fauci was questioned by the press about the possibility of the virus having originated from that Chinese lab, mister Fauci cited that same study. The same study that his friends wrote that he seems to have played a role in commissioning, and he said, and I quote there was a study recently where a group of highly qualified evolutionary virologists looked at the sequences in bats as they evolve in the mutations that they took to get to the point where it is now, and it is totally consistent with a jump of a species from an animal to a human. He promised reporters that he would make the authors of that study available to the media. He never came forward and said, hey, I had a hand in this. Doctor Anderson, the scientists that wrote it, he never came forward and said, hey, you know what? This is Doctor Fauci's idea. The editors over at the science journal, they never told anybody that was reading this, that Fauci had any involvement, we did not know that until now, not until this House investigation. And like I said, back in 2020, my gosh, the media was buying whatever Fauci was selling. Remember, so this was just one big giant right wing conspiracy. Listen, I'll tell you, when you lie to the people and you get caught, you create a massive trust void, and that's what we're looking at right now.

A 'Fauci' Cover Up? Shocking New Emails Revealed

"Such a shocking report here, new emails between doctor Anthony Fauci and other key scientists were just released by the select subcommittee on the coronavirus pandemic. This is the GOP led committee and its accusing Doctor Fauci of prompting or commissioning a scientific study to disprove and the speculation that the virus may have come from a Chinese lab. According to this memo, new evidence released by the select subcommittee suggests that, well, Doctor Fauci prompted the whole thing, the drafting of a publication that would disprove the lab leak theory. The authors of this paper, they made evidence available to the public that they sought out. In other words, they had a thesis or Fauci, and they were instructed to solve for it. On February 1st, 2020, Doctor Fauci along with doctor Francis Collins in 11 other big deal scientists, they were on a call together and they were warned that coronavirus may have been leaked from a lab in Wuhan, China. And what's more? They were warned that it may have been intentionally genetically manipulated. So they got that warning, and then what do you know, a few days later, three of the participants on the call they came forward authoring a paper that dispelled the notion that the virus may have originated in, a Chinese lab. This paper was called the proximal origin of SARS CoV-2. The paper was allegedly written it Fauci's prompting, in fact, they sent the author sent the draft to Fauci for editing and approval according to the House committee ahead of its publication in nature medicine. And then, when they sent it over to nature, medicine on February 17th, the studies author, doctor Christian Anderson, he's the one that submitted it, wrote in a cover email that. And I quote, there has been a lot of speculation, fear mongering, and conspiracy theories put forward in this space. This paper was prompted by Jeremy Farr, Tony Fauci, and Francis Collins.

"I get that, but if you're Josh hyper, what better of a stage to showcase your offense than on in an orange bowl in a new year 6 bowl and South Florida where all the recruits are. I think that is going to be a tremendous game. I think for both parties, for both head coaches, you can use that as a jumping off point to the 2023 season in a variety of different ways because let's talk about Clemson. High as my trophy, but also it's a team that was in the national championship hunt into rivalry weekend. So it's not like they were a non factor this year. So I can't wait for that orange bowl. I think it's gonna be fun. Yeah, no, I agree. It's a really impressive game. On the other hand, Saturday morning, you know, Alabama and Kansas state. And we were talking to Alex Scarborough a minute ago about Bryce young playing the game, which I mean, we're not sitting here cheering him. I'm glad he's his decision, but the question is, why? Well, I think it's a good showing for him and for that program because they're not used to being in this position, right? They're not used to being in a position where it doesn't really matter. So I think that sets the tone for the other guys on the team, the younger guys on the roster, even the prospects coming in, whether it be high schoolers or guys in the transfer portal, I think they have not said this, but it wouldn't surprise me at all if Bryce young went in for a series. He came out, everyone gave him a round of applause, same thing with will Anderson. And then they used it as a spring game on steroids. And if that's the case, fine. But I think for Alabama, it's more about setting the tone. It's more about setting the younger guys up for success. And for will Anderson and for Bryce young, sticking around, I think, does that it accomplishes that. The main goal that they had in this game has already been accomplished. And I'm really fascinated to see if they do pull Bryce and will Anderson, how do they use Simpson? How do they use mill row? How did they use some of the younger guys because in these bowl games now, we saw in the NCAA statement where they're going to grant, they're not going to count this towards red shirting. I think that is allowing a team like Alabama to really use this as a jumping off point for next season because of an Alabama because they don't have any opt outs, but for a lot of teams they do. And they need to see those younger guys. And so I'm excited to see what those guys can do because I don't think that will Anderson and Bryce young are going to play the whole game. I think we saw in that game, what was it, two, three years ago, Deandre swift for Georgia had a couple of cursory runs and then was like, all right, I'm out. I'm going to be a cheerleader. And it's easy for those of us who are adults, some a little more adult than others. In my case, but I mean, these guys are they played at Alabama for three years. This is a, they're moving on. There's something to be said for one last hurrah in New Orleans, on a reasonably big stage. Just to kind of go down there. I mean, assuming they don't play the whole game, they do, then they went down there to play. Make a cameo. And if they play the whole game, if that's what they want to do, fine. I think here's the thing. It's much more likely that you get hurt in practice than an actual, right? So the idea that they're going to go out and get hurt, you know, that they're putting themselves at risk, they've got insurance, right? And then B, if you're going to practice, if you're doing non contact drills while you're preparing for the draft, you still might get hurt. So I think that that part of its overrated a little bit, the worry, the concern about being injured is overrated a little bit. But I think either way, whatever they decide to do, whether it's play a whole game or just have a cameo appearance, they've set the tone for the younger guys, which I think is something that speaks very highly of Nick Saban because, like I said, he's never been in this position before and to have his stars say that they're going to come back, play a bowl game and actually do that. The younger kids are going to take notice. And by the way, this is not a new concept that I'm bringing up here, but the idea that we debated players deciding to play in the sugar bowl it's still hard to get used to and we're years into this now. It used to matter. And the sugar bowl still does. I mean, go ask Kansas state players. You think that game doesn't matter. That matters to them in it. For bowl games, it depends on the situation, obviously. But yeah, I mean, we're old enough to remember when it actually meant something to go to the sugar bowl. Even if it was a noon sugar bowl, 11 a.m. central time, which is not super weird. Finally here, there's where are we? We're in Georgia. There's so many narratives. Most of them are false. What is your sense about what we're about to see here? I'm most fascinated to see what Ohio State secondary does. Because last time we saw them, they got embarrassed by JJ McCarthy. That's not something that should happen, and it's not something that I think they're content with. And I think that talking to the players and coaches around here today, it really angered them. And I think I asked Kirby smart about this too. He said it was more a situational thing where they tried to take some risks and they didn't work out in the game got sideways. Which happens, right? That's going to happen. But that's what I'm looking at the most. What happens when Georgia has the ball? Can they stretch the field against this Ohio State secondary? And I think it's a unique challenge because you look at Georgia, Brock Bauer's leading receiver tight end. Second leading receiver's lad mcconkey, and then the third leading receiver is a running back and Kenny mcintosh and I assume Knowles about that today. And he said, look, we have never had a challenge like this.

"End of the conference championship weekend and on that Saturday sets and Bennett through four touchdown passes and hooker, he finished his season with a loss, a win, but then a loss in the ACL and then didn't play. He was kind of, he went further out of mind for a lot of people across the country as the season ended. Well, Seth, as you know, there's a lot of fake outrage on Twitter and everywhere else and it just seems like all the will Anderson outrage from last year was transferred to hendon hooker and in the end doesn't mean very much. Let me ask you about what something that does mean a lot and that's all the pundits who are slowly working on their changing of the guard takes, assuming that Kirby's march able to repeat. I know nobody is bearing Nick Saban, nobody's saying that the whatever he has currently having won one out of the last 5 titles is the end of his reign, but it does seem like things are changing. Does it not? Yeah, and I say this as somebody who kind of bought into the idea that Georgia had not grabbed the torch away from Nick Saban quite yet just by winning the national championship last year that I voted Alabama to be first. And to win the SEC championship and will Anderson back on one side of the field, young on the other side and it's an excellent and then it didn't happen. I'm as surprised as everybody that George is sitting here still 13 to no. And routing everybody, except Missouri. I drink which got his contract extended. But yeah, I mean, this season is impressive as we've seen, honestly, from Kirby smart and Georgia. Now, I'm not handing them the national championship trophy just yet. Ohio State is going to be a tough out. If they win that game and if Michigan wins this game, Michigan might be an even tougher route because they're a team that is built physically strong along the trenches like Georgia is. And then if even if they win it next year, how good is the defense without Jalen Carter, presumably? How good is the offense without sets and Bennett? In the quarterback. On the other hand, Paul, they continue to recruit at an elite level. And Kirby in this age where we all assumed that passing offense is where the rage, Kirby did go to a more dynamic passing offense when he brought in Todd munk and he opened it up, but he did it without sacrificing an emphasis on physicality and toughness. They continue to practice tough. They continue to try to build their team physically strong. And that helps them both in terms of the trenches during the game and the run game, the first three quarters, and it helps them be better down the stretch. In the fourth quarter, when it matters, as we saw in the national championship. Finally, you mentioned the upcoming game. And I realized we have three more weeks, I think, to promote that, but what does the next few weeks look like for the dogs? Recruiting, recruiting recruiting for the next week and a half, they'll get back to practice and I think unless it leads to some sort of, I don't know, complacency or whatever. I think it benefits them that they're in Atlanta for the semifinal. They're not having to make travel plans and all the other stuff logistics, they're just going to go back to the Mercedes Benz or the third time this year. They're going to practice in Atlanta, I believe. I'm staying in Atlanta. Have to listen to Athens to Atlanta is not exactly around the corner. But they're going to it's interesting to be able to go back there, but Ohio State, I would tell people is going to have more fans in there than Oregon and LSU did. So Georgia better be prepared to not exactly have the totality almost the totality of the crowd, the way they did the first two times. The dogs will certainly know their way to the field from the locker room, having bought this a third time this year. They will have played there. Seth, great to have you on, always. We'll see you soon. And talk to you as we get closer to Atlanta. We had to the break now with more of your phone calls at 855-242-7285. You were listening to the Paul fine bomb show podcast. Quiet day, everybody's in a good mood. Nobody's saying anything stupid. Really? Larry is next. What's up, I'm bob. Larry, how are you? I'm doing fine. You know how this cry baby? Oh my God, Batman lord Jesus. You know, you were talking about one time last fall. We were absolutely right. Last night. Oh, lord. My God, do you think we fell off the door? Two years, one guy yesterday. For two years, that ain't been two years. We had a bad year this year. And terrible. Last year, what may have we lost two master saviors, no excuse, we lost them, and we didn't have nobody's death up. We lost last chance yet. But we made Georgia by 21 points. And as they say now, I had again. The department, we have some wins this year. And you sat there and trashed them. You go through our schedule and trash everybody, we play. And then Georgia who the hell they're going to play. Let's put it on the board. But you can't start. They give up 22 points. Let me start with Wednesday. Hold on, Larry. They beat two teams that beat your guys. Yeah. Both by double digits. My guys, my God, deserved it. But I'm talking about, oh man, we made them. I thought that was a pretty good win. Almost lost four games. I mean, that was that was not a great that was not a good win. I thought, well, hell, bow, we fired up by the fire and I actually see just about, but look who

"Come back, we were glad you're here for the second half of the program looking forward to chatting with Greg McIlroy here in a moment. A lot of awards are making the rounds and certainly hypo hooker and will Anderson claiming some of the biggest awards. It's all week long and our next guest will be part of the award ceremony on Thursday night. Too many names to mention, but hinden hooker being the first team all SEC, stetson Bennett, second team, I don't think there was a third team, but that would mean Bryce young would be vying for that spot as we show you. As we show you some of the defensive players. Anyway, let's grab a call here as we get ready to go to our next guest. Paul is in Georgia, Paul Gardner ahead. Hey, Paul, how are you doing today? Thank you for taking my call. Thank you very much. I was going to talk about the SEC, but I wanted to comment on one of your callers. Patrick, who was talking about Ohio State, Georgia having to play a whole house taking Michigan. Well, we're looking at the best college football team. You played the best. It doesn't matter who you play. You got to beat them in order to claim the national title. Because that shouldn't matter at all. No, I agree. I agree with you, Paul. Paul listen, let me if I could do this. Let me put you back on hold because we have our guests ready and I don't want to keep him waiting because he probably has more things to do than we do here. Greg mcelroy joining us. Greg, I was just going over the all SEC team. And I realized there are a lot of reasons for what I'm about to ask you, but it's hinden hooker number one, stetson and Ben on the second team. The idea that Bryce young didn't make the all SEC team. I think it's going to be something that it's going to be a trivia question down the road, but it's still pretty hard to imagine, isn't it? We have it. I mean, it's a little bit of a sign of the times, Paul. I mean, in a lot of ways, I mean, do you think that's Bennett's better than Bryce young? I mean, I personally don't. I think that's a really good player. Has had a terrific season. But I think most Georgia fans would probably take price young over stetson Bennett if given the opportunity. So while that's not a slight towards stetson at all, I think stetson has had a great year in statistically speaking. Has stepped up in a lot of ways, but I don't think many people would say that he's the best player on their team. I would say that he's a very good player. And at 25 years old, he's certainly dominating. He's a men amongst boys. In some ways, you know? So I think stetson should feel really good about what he's accomplished and is on the fringe of potentially pulling off another one. But yeah, I mean, it's kind of unfathomable when you really think about it, but honestly, all these postseason awards are popularity contests and frankly, I don't put a lot of stock into appalling. That includes the Heisman Trophy if I'm going to be completely honest. Yeah, one last thing on Bryce, because I mean, he could only control his side of the ball. And I think I've heard you say you talk about his play this year and I mean, there are always tough moments, but it seems like you tell us. I mean, how has he played in relation to last year for example when he won the Heisman Trophy? Well, I think obviously miss little time got banged up was it less than a 100%. It really in the last handful of weeks. I'm not sure he's really gotten as many practice reps as he would have really liked. The standard was set so high off of last year's performance and we'll all remember the game against Georgia and the SEC championship game and remember that was Bryce at his best. We didn't often see him at his best this year. But there was always, I think there was a slight there was definitely a confidence level with him on the field for Alabama that if he was out there, they were gonna be okay. Even if everything else looked awful and there were plenty of times in which they did, everything was gonna be okay as long as price young's there. He was the great get out of jail free card for Alabama all year long. So I think he had a really good year, but I'm not surprised to see because of the flavor of the week that's been the other quarterbacks that are all heading to New York for the Heisman Trophy ceremony. And the fact that Henderson wasn't included as absurd to me, I might add. But I'm not surprised. I mean, people become enamored with the now, as opposed to looking at the bigger picture. And if you're not front and center of the playoff conversation, you're often going to take a back seat with how the game has shifted and lapel the focus is shifted in recent years. And I think it's best reflected in the Heisman Trophy. As you can see, there's basically all you got to do is be a quarterback of a playoff contender and you're in the mix. And that to me is ridiculous because the award should go to the most outstanding player in college football. And it's seldom does. There are times when it does, for sure, but it doesn't feel like the best players are always there in New York. And that to me is unfortunate because everyone deserves to be celebrated, regardless of what position you play and regardless of what team you play for. Greg, those of us who are lay people get influenced by the media and by what everybody is saying. So let me ask you if somebody who is in the moment who understands good versus not so great, who is the most outstanding player this year in college football in your estimation? Nothing Caleb Williams has been the best player. I think it was actually as crazy as the South Pole. I mean, it's most evident in what happened when he was hurt last week for USC when he was at less than a 100%. They were up 17 three when he got hurt. Well, as soon as he got hurt, I made the defense became a atrocious. The offense couldn't do anything. He was noticeably limping around. So I think he would certainly be because of his off schedule plays and because of how he makes really what is a relatively average supporting cast with the exception of a few look like superheroes. Addison is phenomenal. He missed some time. But the other guys are good, solid, very good, some will play on Sundays, but few will be complete game changers at the next level, and he took that level of play up a whole lot. I mean, people will say, well, it's the PAC 12, but I do think he's been the most outstanding, but other guys that I think deserve a ton of recognition this year in particular, bijan Robinson to Texas has been terrific. Mo Ibrahim at Minnesota is a guy that's on no one's list, but should be the guys coming back from a ruptured Achilles. And had a phenomenal season. And the games that he missed to the games that he was limited, Minnesota was atrocious offensively.

"Team. Okay, last year was so so and I mean, I hate the sound on this man. But I got a buddy of mine and he is his die hard to Alabama fans there is. And we were talking, we both thought this football team this year was going to go, but to be his third on debated team. That's what I thought was going to happen. Instead, they have been the most aggravated agitating irritating football team to watch I've ever seen. I think you can tell I'm in a great mood. No, and I think that's the frustrating part. Sabin was, he made a big deal about last year being a rebuilding year. And I got upset, but I understood basic premise, and new quarterback, I knew this and knew that. And the question is, did they have the talent, and he felt like they did? And what did they do with it? And the easy thing to blame is are the coordinators. And I have no doubt, they'll be gone. However, they're gone. They're gone. They're not coming back. That's a good place to start, but ultimately, you know, is Nick Saban the same today as he was two years ago or four years ago or 6 years ago. And I think that's a big determination. You have to make. Well, Paul, I mean, listen to me acting like everyone thinks like me. And I know they don't. But whenever you see a head coach farther coordinators, that's a yellow flag right then. In any in pro, that's a yellow flag. But he doesn't have a choice. No. He doesn't have it. They will not be fired. I fully expect both to get jobs and it will be, it will be sugar coated and window dressed like they always are. I'm a new go kart tell them to get the hell out. I don't care. I want them gone. And that includes that special page goes. It even bled over to our great kicker, even he, you know, it could be argued that he made that field goal against Tennessee. No, no, I mean, that you're the first person to bring that up. But that was the tipping point in the season. He had saved Alabama against Texas and I don't know what happened on that moment in that moment because I firmly thought he would make it. I didn't think there was a doubt. Well, he'd been solid as a rock for two years. Yeah. But, you know, I still say, it doesn't matter. I think the whole trophy is frivolous as hell anyway. No offense saying that you're a voter. And I think this young man at Southern California has played a great season. But I say that Brice young in two losses to the way he performed in those two years. And what he did for that came, to me, I felt like he was just thrown out there all on his own and they also did the same damn thing with will Anderson and those players I just mentioned on the defensive line. If they had meat eaters like that there, there wouldn't have been no double teaming on will Anderson or Dallas Turner because that inside interior would have collapsed the other team completely. And we've seen it happen. That's my district. I'm a lot of what you said. I appreciate it, and you be well. Thanks for the call. We head to the break. More of your phone calls, more guests to come. "Paul. Hey, van. Hey, I was just curious. What times that game starts Saturday? Three 30 in Knoxville. 30 30 eastern. Three 30 in Nacho. Yes. Okay, I look forward to it. Thank you. Thank you. Yeah, anything else you want to know what the price of milk is right now? John is up next in Florida. Hello hello, John. Hey, Paul, how's it going? Hey, just a couple of days since Tennessee's already been crowned as the winners of the east by a lot of people already and I guess bam is going to be playing for their life this weekend. I guess whatever Tennessee is going to do, they got to get it done this season because they got a hooker and I guess he leaves after this year. What do you see for the future for Tennessee because sounds like hypo has a particular kind of offense he likes to run. So where do you see going forward? Because I know they got this 5 star quarterback company next season. So you think this is some momentum they can keep going in the future? Oh, absolutely. They're recruiting extremely well. And think about the obvious here, Tennessee, Tennessee has X number of big recruiting weekends every year. Florida was one, and this is the other. So if you are a recruit, you've possibly already been there once, and if you have not, you're going this weekend, and you're experiencing Tennessee at its absolute best. You're seeing the campus alive. And I say that because there's a feeling that it's always crazy, college football, it's not. I can't tell you how many times I've been to Knoxville in the last 15 years when it was dreary and depressing. That's even when they had good records and were highly there was once they were in the top ten and I still felt like nobody had faith. People have faith. They believe. And that bleeds over to what you're doing on the recruiting trail, which is critically important. Let's continue here. And talk to Freddy, who is in Tennessee. Hello, Freddie. Hello, Paul. Good afternoon. So you're talking about Alabama not having the staff of Macau Wayne and kissing. We can't blame them on saving, can we? I mean, they're the ones who want to save. I'm just simply saying that a lot of great coaches have come and gone. That's what happens when you are at the point in your career that Nick Saban is. Look at Bill Belichick. I mean, he's starting to become a shell of his former self. And it's not only Tom Brady. I agree. I'm not suggesting that Nick Saban, he's undefeated in the very well could win the national championship this year, but he's done, I mean, he's got coaches. By the way, I left out another coach that helped him win a national championship. That's about to be the NFL coach of the year. And that's Brian dabel. He gets very little credit because he wasn't at Alabama very long, but he made an impact. And Bill O'Brien is not shop liver. I don't want anybody to think that he got Bill O'Brien with a dollar store. The guy's a very accomplished coach, but he just seems, it seems he seems out of sorts at Alabama. That's all I'm saying. I'll agree with that. If Alabama's not winning by 50, the world's coming to an end. It's ready. That's the expectation. I was joking with will Anderson about that. Because that's what you get when you're in Alabama player or you're in Alabama coach, you're expected. I mean, it does feel like the world has come to an end this week because Alabama has played too tight games. That will dissipate quickly with a win Saturday in Knoxville. I can assure you of that. Brilliant is up next in Tennessee. Hey brylin. Well, it gets me and Paul. How are you? I have a question for you. If Jalen muro plays over brass show this weekend, how do you think the game goes? Do you think Tennessee will win with norwin? I sure do, Brian, I think that's probably the easiest bet on the board. And I think they just need the explosiveness in the accuracy of bright young and Melrose, I'll give him a shaky game. He looked good against Arkansas, but that was right off the bench and maybe he'll look good again at Bryce can't go the distance. Thanks for the call. Booker is in New Jersey. Hey Booker. Hey, Paul. Wonderful show. I had a really inspirational conversation this morning with the gentlemen. I walked into the drag queens and I had on my Alma mater outfit. I went to Benedict college in Columbia, South Carolina, which is 2039, somebody's poll. I don't know who it is. And he said to me, what are you doing with that Laker in LSU stuff on here in New Jersey? And I said, no, it's Benedict college. And they need to apologize. You say, you know, I owe you an apologies. Because that's an HBCU in your military now. Some great athletes. He said, how do you feel living here? I said, well, this is college football desert. Last Heisman Trophy up this way was from Princeton, dick kasma, years ago. And I said, he said, what do you do when you were in the south? I said, well, I was a West Coast because at that time, the Trojans and UCLA in that crowd were the scourge of my world. I said, African Americans in the south just didn't watch the SEC. I appreciated it. You know what? I used to sell peanuts at Carolina stadium when steps a minute, that it was playing quarterback for the gamecocks. I bet those people, I bet those peanuts were good back in the day book. Hey, thanks for the call and do appreciate it. We are one hour in on a Wednesday afternoon. "So he could have an escape link, but all the secondary they did outstanding job, cherry and he did a really good job of, you know, when a big moment came like that, he made the play and, you know, he got us off the field and it was great. So you thought, again, you changed your mind as you see the play, but you thought they were going to run ball? Yeah. I thought it was going to run the ball, honestly. But they ended up passing so I bet they regret not running the ball after the way it turned out. I know you expect to achieve and you expect to win, but that had to be a sense of relief. Did it not? Yeah, it would. It was, but you know, the preparation, and I think how the defense our mindset and our entire never give up never quit, never looked at the scoreboard, one pair at a time. I think all those things just kick in in a moment like that. And we just go back into all our discipline commitment, everything, everything that goes Sabrina has instilled in this program. I think we just fall back on that and remember, how we go off the field, how we do the job we do our job. So chatting with will Anderson, junior, well, you said something in the off season about the rivalry with a and M and the media made a big deal to say the least about the two coaches. Is that really trickle down very much to the field in terms of preparation and how you play yeah, like most definitely, but for me, it really didn't have anything to do with the social media part of it. For me it was just about what happened last year and the lost and the playing and everything like that. I think that's where more of the players are taking an aim at it of more of how we felt last year. We didn't want to feel that feeling again. I know for me, I didn't want to feel that feeling again. And I think the preparation that week was when we wouldn't get that feeling that we got last year. Well, I did a show earlier with some national short ESPN and two of the guys on the show with me were just like saying, what's wrong with Alabama? As if the season is lost and I say that jokingly, because we all know Alabama is undefeated. They're favored in every game, and they're still ranked number two in the country or whatever it is. How do you respond or do you even really care what the rest of the media is saying in terms of what's really going wrong with Alabama this year? Honestly, I never find out what the media says until I do media interviews or talking to somebody with any type of thing on TV or anything like that. I think the guys we do a really great job of not focusing on that stuff because we're the ones that have to go out there and play with the ones that's going out there sacrifices our bodies and you know what we need to do to win games and you know everywhere might not be when that is a blowout, but at least be going out there and working hard efforts great you'll be on some mental areas here and there, but we're still Alabama team, great decent, great office, we're still playing to the standard of Alabama and you know we have some stuff to work through, but at the end of the day, we're still the standard. I realize you're just one player, although that would be somewhat comical to things that you're just one player on the Alabama team considering what you mean to them. But some of those critics that you're not watching, wisely, I might add, are pointing at penalties and mistakes across the board, whether it's special teams, whether it's on offense, whether it's on defense, is that something that you guys talk about the collectively or through coach Saban in your coordinators, most definitely he knows co safe and goes over penalty chart all the time journals, everything, all of this stuff, every Monday, where we go through it, go save it and they still the same, you still, everybody but about it. But I think it's up for leadership. You know, coaches said the word for, I think it's up to us as leaders. Now, to step in and be like, okay, y'all, we've seen the mistakes that we have that we've been doing. Now it's time to, you know, eliminate these mistakes because we're going against really good teams. It's SEC play. And you know, when we make air was like this, it's not going to help us win. So we really need to cut back on there. So, you know, yeah, close AB still goes out of all that stuff. The team knows how important it is and why we shouldn't be doing it. So yeah. Well, I know you started at the beginning that your Alabama and all this stuff comes with that and the territory. But do you think maybe and I realize you're a player, you can't control what the rest of this thing, but do you think we just we think too much and expect too much out of Alabama because they are Alabama, they start to season number one. And anything less than absolute perfection seems like a disappointment. Yeah. I mean, for us, you know, we have a standard, you know what I'm saying? The Alabama standard is always going to be Alabama standard and no matter you know what the media says or anybody else say, we have to pay the all standard, no matter what they say or what they may think, what they make, it's all about us. So, you know, we really can't control what other people think or what their expectations is about us, you know, what they want their standard to be. I feel like as long as we're playing the football that we know how to play inside this building and what goes saver wants us to play in this building and his expectation into his standard, I feel like we'll be a good football team, but I feel like if you start later with the media saying what everybody else said, all this other stuff about how we should be playing about that. I think it affects our team and it could affect our team if we did listen to it. So I feel like, you know, you guys have y'all expectation and standard, but we have to go to the expectation that, you know, coach Sabin and the staff wants us to play too. Well, certainly, I know your relationship with Bryce young and everyone is hoping to see him

You love your show. Thank you very much. This dude rapid his book and all this stuff. Come on, man. That's lying. Come on, Paul. I tell you what, if I ever write another book, I'm calling every show in America going, hey, I got a book. Well, they're not nice. You probably wouldn't get past the funnel screen. I probably wouldn't. Like, what's it about? Yeah, I'm the oldest living pickleball player. Right. Well, Paul, let me I might be better. Because you're just kind of like a light back guy. I'm easy to talk to, honest, I mean, so I enjoy yourself and I listen all the time. Well, thank you. I mean, this week, Patrick, I appreciate that very much. We had a guy call in who was supposed to do the national anthem today at the college World Series, but he got deep 6 because he did the horns down. This guy is pushing his book, I feel like Saturday morning got the swap shop. Hey, I got a tractor I need to sell. If you want to get if you got a book, we're the place. "And on one of the best teams, and I was coached by a former all pro Ernest gibbons for four years. Oh, wow. And in the last couple of weeks, I have just published a book called the golden Gladiator. Really? And I think you would enjoy reading it and talking about it. Well, tell us a little bit about it before we have a chance to read it. Yes, I mean if you'd like when I get off the phone just have someone pass me your address and it will be more than happy to send you a couple of copies. Okay. If you go to Guinness World Record and plug in oldest American football player, you will see a picture of me. Somehow, I don't know why we lost our caller there, but Michael is the I'm looking at the book now. He's the he's the oldest player in America. Why did we what happened to the call? He's a senior citizen, and he trying to play semi pro. Is that it? Anyway. We'll try to get him back. Are you interested in the story? Sure not? I am. Okay. Randy's all upset. He said, get that guy, give that guy the hook. Okay. Jan is up next in mobile, Alabama. Hello, Jan. Paul, I know this, but mothers carry the children for 9 months. Of course, we're more important. That's it. Okay. I didn't know that. But I mean, I know you know that, but maybe not. I mean, Mother's Day was sacrosanct. I mean, I once was out of town, and this was before cell phones. I was working. I had to cover an event in New York, and I tried my mother on the way up. When I flew up in the morning, couldn't get her. And then I'm literally in Manhattan, stopping at phone booth trying to call her, and. I don't think anyone has ever been more upset with somebody. I mean, you know, things were different back then. You just didn't leave your message. You couldn't text. And a lot of them very well. Yeah, I learned, I learned the importance of Mother's Day when I was about 22 years old. Don't ever miss it again. No, no, no, no, no. No, because we are special. Because we carry you. When I think of Father's Day, Jan, I think of a grill, you know, I think the baseball golf. But I don't really think of anything more than that. Right, right. Yeah, you just want to take a nap. Somebody give you a nap. What do you want? You want three hours to go do whatever you want, get out of here. Every day. But I heard enough that we'll have to call. If I had misunderstood the importance of Father's Day, I'm glad I didn't. Because we carried the children. Okay. And okay. And by the way, I will say this in defense of all mothers. It's not like it ends right there. It's not like, okay, 9 months. Here's the baby. I'm done. I see you guys later. I'm going to the spa. It's a long process. I appreciate you pointing that pointing that out. Okay, well, I guess like one thing. Sure. Roll tag. Okay, thanks. Dan, you take care of yourself. Okay, Michael is back, even though you don't want him back. Okay. Michael, I do not know what happened. I thought I was actually cut off. Well, fucked up. So if you heard the last part, if you go to Guinness World Record. Okay. Plug in oldest American football player. You will see my picture because I am the oldest American football player. But for those four years from 64 to 65, I played semi pro football with 25 and 30 year olds here in Florida. That's pretty pretty cool. So what was that like? Well, Paul, it was probably the four best years of my life. I mean, it was a little bit of a process because I played high school football in base so Long Island. Played for a couple of years at east Carolina university. Played semi pro football in New York in the early 70s. And then all I did was stay in shape. My nephew was an all star in 2012 and got to play in the Asia all star classic on Long Island. Right. Went to see the game, had an epiphany that I wanted to get back on the football field again. Came to Sarasota where I lived during the winter. Googled semi pro football in the area. This team came up, coach brighter and it's given. And for about two years, just work to make the team and from 19 from 2014 until 2018 played the four years with the Sarasota millionaires and the Southwest Florida gladiators. Okay. Well, Michael, I am going to put you on hold on. I want to read the book. I'm big on books. I love books. Yes. And I'll tell you because there's a bunch of stuff about Alabama football and it Paul which you would enjoy. But we'll get you a couple of books. Thank you very much, Michael. My pleasure, Paul. Thank you very much. What were you telling me to give this guy the hook? When we get those books..

"Chat later with a couple of more guests from important guests. So we started with will Anderson junior, so we have a big hill to climb. Anyway, if you're welcome to give us a ring and a college now at 8 5 5 two four two 7 two 8 5, we will certainly sprinkle your calls in throughout the day. Let's check out Bill, who is up next in Orlando, a hello Bill. Paul hi, sir. I appreciate you taking my call. Thank you. I follow college football pretty close, not as close as I used to because I'm getting old. But what is the deal that they're trying to pin on Miami now for what? I've seen the article in the paper the other day about it, but really didn't explain anything. I can't believe that Miami. I mean, what could they do wrong now? Is my question, well, I think it's just in a relevant story. The NCAA was asked by the leaders of the sport to be more aggressive. So they got on a plane and went down and talked to a bunch of people. It doesn't mean anything. I know headlines today are misleading, but there will be nothing to come out of this. Absolutely nothing. I don't see how there could be, but in the same respect, the people that we have there now, Paul, watch out, folks, because Miami is going to be back. Yeah, I agree with you on that. We had the conversation with Ruiz a couple of weeks ago. John Ruiz, I was impressed. I thought he made a really good really good pitch. And I think with Mario Cristobal, that is going to be a hot program. I totally agree. I used to follow him real, real close Paul, to the point that we are second best ever in road wins in a row, we're still number one in the country as far as how many games we want at home in a row, which is 58. And when I seen that, I just went, you know what? You've got to be kidding me. Miami has to be out of their minds to be stupid now. And all I could say is this, Paul, I played there. I still go there. I'm about 250 miles from the house to the stadium. Cocaine's baby. That's all I can say. They choose they treat us good. Real good. Paul, I appreciate the call. Thank you, sir. Have a good day. Thank you very much. Bill, thank you for calling. We appreciate it. Let's continue with more phone calls. Ed is up next in Kentucky. Hey, Ed, good afternoon. And Paul, I was just like saying that if I had to prayers after my practice family, I put telecom 20 years and passed away from cancer and was also a good player Kentucky all American. All American. I didn't know Mike well, but I'd run into it. He was a superb player. I remember as a young person playing for coach rupp, I'll never forget he was just fabulous. And I know he went on, he was a head coach, I believe, for Charlotte, and somebody else, but that's just, I'm so sorry to hear that. He is truly one of the legendary catch of all time. And I'm so sorry to hear the passed away. He was trying to he was kind of overshadowed by van ESOL. But. Just priors and policy family and thank you, Paul. Thank you. Yeah. Again, you're talking about my youth now. Following basketball and my played with Dan issel, who was one of the greats, he played, I believe in the ABA, yeah, I grew up going to ABA games in my hometown and I remember seeing him play there. So we certainly passed along our deepest condolences to his family and just a legendary player. And that happens just I guess because of age, you see that a lot. It happens every decade, but I guess when you're not heard that earlier, it really did affect me because of you remember these guys when you were young and now they're old and look at me. Mike Pratt, our deepest condolences. We'll take a break, want to hear from you at 855-242-7285. Love to hear from you. We got a long way to go today. We've already talked a little bit about will, Anderson on junior, and we will hear from you right after this. You are listening to the Paul finebaum show podcast. Father's Day is Sunday, what's your favorite Father's Day gift you've ever given to a given or received? I don't know. I mean, I realized this is an old story, but is Father's Day not like discounted compared to Mother's Day? Mother's Day is huge. Father's Day is like, oh, yeah. Here's a necktie. Yeah, anybody got it. Let's run up to the mall and see if they got any socks at Sears. I mean, it's like, here's an ugly time. Yeah, it's just I mean, I know it's special, but it's not quite as anyway, if you're more than welcome to share your Father's Day stories. I mean, there are some good Father's Day stories. I remember my dad and I think he took me to a game, but I couldn't drive. So that's why. But it was a lot of Father's Day stories with golf golf. The U.S. open always ends on Father's Day. But Mother's Day is just, it could be that mothers are just more important. I don't know. I have no earthly idea. I'm just applying. Michael is in Sarasota. Hey, Michael. Paul, it is my pleasure, sir. How are you doing today? We're doing great. Thank you for calling. Okay, Paul, I've got a very good story for you. I'd love to hear it. From the age of 64 to 68, I played semi pro football in Florida. In one of the best leagues in America.

"Agent today. News from the formative committee, is that what it's called? Transformation committee. Okay, I keep on calling it a transportation committee. Well, they got they're changing some windows to help. Oh, who knows what they're going to do? But this is all making the making the rounds that they're finally beginning to share with us. All the hard work. So what's next in the power 5 revenues? Oh, you Texas? Move and the big 12 will talk a little bit about that later on. And we'll talk about Juneteenth today. Of course, it falls on Sunday of the official holiday on Monday and we'll talk to a young man whose father was part of one of the most important movements of the civil rights movement. Matt fortuna joining us from the athletic David Dennis junior will be the second junior we have on the show today. We just said, we just said, well, and let's give you an update on what's happening in Omaha right now. It is 8 to three, a and M correct a three run Homer just a few minutes ago, but Oklahoma just had an incredible 7 run second inning. So Aggie's hanging on the game is a long way from being over based on some of the pitching going on. Let's take some phone calls here at 855-242-7285. The champion. Good afternoon. Thank you so much for taking my talk with us. Well, sir, all the respect please don't call me a champion because I'm feeling violent as always. So I don't want to be the champion. I want to I want to cause more destruction in all the I don't remember the last time that I watched wrestling, so I have no clue. But I can tell you this much. This is a proven fact professional wrestlers. They want more championships than your Texas a and M aggies since 1939. It's a good old buddy pound waterborne mountain San Antonio. What a better promo and catch up to me probably Monday. Just work on your little promo. As far as the legend is concerned, I am not afraid of you either. So how about you take a black hat and black pet 'cause all my black sheep with me. So why don't you do yourself a favor legend? Why don't you take your balls out of your purse and use it? It seems like Nick Saban is using your balls and he wanted himself 7 national championships. So this is what I'm going to say mister fine bomb. Hey, legend. Was he talking about the balls and strikes in the college World Series? I think that's what he was talking about. John is up next in Louisville. I think they were different balls, Paul. Just saying. I don't know. I'm just a talk show host. He always comes shout out of the can loaded for Bayer. You do like, there's no easing in there, anything with this cat. By the way, great opening interview. I love the story of Hutchinson breaking his dad's sack records last year. So it's kind of cool to have a defensive at the Heisman awards. And I think he will definitely be there in New York later this year. Absolutely. And I was going to talk about two things, one is I think Alabama actually had a better recruiting year in the second I was going to bring up Heather Dennis's great article on the NCA's transformation committee recommendation. So I'll start with Alabama. Alabama actually had a better recruiting average. The only difference in point total was that Texas a and M had 30 recruits and Alabama had 26. But the big difference was in a transfer there, I did it too. In the portal, so to speak transfer portal. Alabama brought in 5 very highly recruited, high register recruits. So they plugged the holes they needed to plug it to the receiver, running back cornerback. Offensive line. So overall, I think Alabama had a better recruiting class. And then on the NCAA transformation committee recommendations, they're talking about two portal windows, one at the end of November till the early signing period and one in April. And I think that will actually improve the transfer portal. Process. And then the other I'm low suspect on. They're talking about improving the current infraction process actually speeding it up and holding the coaches responsible rather than the players in the team. So your thoughts? Yeah, I think you guys from really bright people that are on this chaired by the Ohio AD and Greg sankey. It's the execution of it. I don't trust the enforcement division any longer. I mean, they're basically just a bunch of people who just time has left them by. So I think it's really the devil is in the details. These are great recommendations, but can the NCAA find a way to execute them? Well, they are going to vote on it on August 3rd according to Heather's article. So it could be in a group. It's going to go into effect, but a lot of things have gone into effect that the NCAA has been inactive and quite free quite frankly in app to administrate. So I think ultimately that's the question. Thank you very, very much. Kevin is up next. Good afternoon, Kevin. Kevin? Kevin, can you hear me? How about no? Mike is up next. How am I going right ahead? Hey Paul, thanks for taking my call. Thank you. I've been listening for a while and I just want to make a comment about the Alabama Texas a.m. recruiting. And everybody talking about a and M and supposedly buying their class. I still have yet to find a game that this recruiting class is one for anybody. And for Texas a and M and I just wonder what your comment is on that. I mean, everybody's getting upset about here's the thing about the a and M recruiting class. I mean, if this class develops and sticks around, it will be epic. But we all know how difficult that is. So I think what a and M was trying to prove by selling this class and say, hey, we're legitimate. I mean, they spent so much time talking about the number one class. Remember when Jimbo came out with that, I'd rather bizarre press conference that said he wasn't going to LIU, which most coaches don't ever address. The whole idea behind that was to really embarrass LSU by saying, I'm staying here. Why am I staying here? Because we have the number one recruiting class in.

"Have to do as much as you have to do in the fall, but as far as in a yoga, I think it's a great idea, you know, it's a lot of people, you know, to help get money, not only for themselves but for their families that, you know, this age that we are in right now and help a lot of family members all the stuff like that. That's how I look at it for myself, you know, it's an opportunity for you to start setting up stuff for later in my later in my living years, you know what I'm saying? Like, put some money over here in this account, you know, for anything that's going on and I'm actually trying to take over my own brand. I just started this agency called a three. Brian Jones, Ken, the white Johnson, you know, most of those NFL players, you may know of, they helped me do that. And it's really just for young players, you know, that need help. I know for me and my family, we didn't know too much about, you know, contracts and stuff like that. And all these other stuff. So they've been helping me get all that stuff up. So this brand, this a three is going to help young athletes, you know, around the world, and that parents know what they're going through and get help and stuff like that. So as far as in IO, I think it's a good idea. I think it would help a lot of players out and, you know, my brand that I'm taking over. I think it would be helpful for a lot of, you know, other young athletes just like me. So it's been great. We're talking to will Anderson junior, the university of Alabama. Well, we were at the draft two months ago in Vegas, and I couldn't help but think of you because I mean, there was already speculation about the next draft. And I know that you're geared into the next season, but you had to hear some of that. I mean, it's not like you're just completely letting the draft go by without maybe peaking a few minutes here and there. When you heard when you hear the conversation about yourself and bribes for that matter, how do you tamp that down a little bit and get ready for the season? You know, for me, it's all those type of things have always been easy for me. You know, not to look too far ahead and be with my feet are and be in the moment because, you know, anything can happen at any moment and I always like to stay in present time and let the future worry about itself. So, you know, for me, it wasn't really that hard. You know, I appreciate all the love that people are showing towards me. But I have a season, you know, that's coming up that I have to still play. And you know, I just have to prepare for it the right way, like I did last year, you know, just keep the ball moving and keep rolling. So that's kind of where my focus is, perfecting my crowd, being a good leader, helping my teammates, and that's where my main focus is being at this upcoming season right now. And well, speaking of the season, Alabama is going to be the preseason number one. That's certainly not breaking news. The expectations are always that. As you look at this season last year, you came in second, everywhere else. That's really a great finish at Alabama. We know what that is. But what are your thoughts as we get ready for the upcoming season? You know, my thoughts are, you know, I feel like last year we had a very young team, you know, like I said in a couple of interviews, we just have enough faith that knew what the Alabama standard was. But since this off season that's been going on, I feel like the young guys, the new recruits that we have have that have came in, they've done a tremendous job. I'll give my hats off to them because they came right in. They already I feel like they already knew the standard. We're really hungry. So it wasn't really much that we had to, you know, put into them because I feel like they got the presents on that, okay, we're not playing this year. We know what to expect. We know the standard, just because we're Alabama doesn't mean people are going to lay down for us. We have to go out there and show why we are a dominant team. And I think that's what's been carried out for spring ball to summer workouts and stuff like that. So, you know, the expectations are high, still, the standard is still going to be the standard, you know, we're just going to keep that moving forward and everybody get on board with that. Let me ask you before you go about your coaches. You have course golden your coordinator and coach Saban, who's a defensive wizard and always has been. There's not much they can do with you. I mean, Nick Saban has laughed about the few times that he can correct you, which are few and far between, but discuss your coaches and what they have meant to you and how you deal with them because you're so good. I mean, I'm not just everyone knows that that and you're also very coachable. You know, I tell people all the time, I'm so thankful for them because, you know, they put a lot of trust in me a lot, you know, to pay different positions on the field and, you know, they believe in me, and that gives me confidence that you know coach Sabin believes in me coach golden believe me coach age cosell, all the coaches believe in me to play all these different positions on the field and, you know, it just gives me a more confidence boost like, oh, my coach trusted me. So, you know, I love all my coaches. They do a great job. Of helping us get mined up, you know, putting us in the right areas to make plays, you know, you know, what are our strengths, what are our weaknesses? And you know, they help us build on those things and stuff like that. So, you know, I love all my coaches that great, they do an excellent job preparing us Monday through Saturday to get us ready for the game and there's no other culture stuff that I would rather play for coaches or anything like that. So Alabama's been very great to me. And I appreciate it. Finally, about coach Sabin, I mean, there's so many things that have been said about him and his status is what it is, but describe the experience of learning and getting better and obviously of excelling under what we all agree is the greatest football coach in history. You know, I love it. I feel like you come to Alabama because you have the same mindset as the people that's there. And I tell people all the time, I feel like me and coach sabre, we have the exact same mindset. That's why it's so easy for me to play under him or to be coached by him because ultimately we have the same goal. We have the same mindset, the same entirety, and overall we want the same thing and I think that's why it's so easy being coached by him and you know I don't really get fussed out a lot like that or nothing like that because you know I know what to expect. I know what to do and as far as such and things like that. So it's been great and have somebody like coach Abe and the coach you that's been in the game a long time that knows a lot who is the goal, you know, it's the best feeling ever. So it's great. I know as coach Saban and other players always look at the first game, they don't look at the season, but do you know that schedule very well or can you just focus, okay, here's what we do now. We'll get to summer practice. We'll start to fall..

"It is great to have you with us here on a Friday afternoon and we are raring for the weekend, the college World Series underway in Omaha, a lot of other things going on. We'll commemorate Juneteenth a little bit later on. That is Monday, but we begin, wow, with one of the biggest teens is on Sunday, yeah, but I think the commemoration is Monday. We began with one of the biggest guests we've had here in a long, long time. Will Anderson junior, the all American, everything from the university of Alabama and he joins us to talk a little bit about the upcoming season and what he's been up to. Well, first of all, thank you. I appreciate you making Tom. How are you and how's the summer going? It's going good. Thank you for having me. It's a pleasure. The summer's gone great. Teams been getting after it working hard, you know, close saving been on us and we're just having a good time, you know, going out there trying to get better every day. So it's been great. I guess for most of the summertime is fun, go to the beach, go to the Lake, maybe chill out. It's not that way when you play for the crimson tide, is it? No sir is not. Out there, busting your butt every day trying to get better, man. Working 6 30 a.m. levels, but it's worth it. Have you had any downtime? Because we're curious, what is somebody like you do with a day off? I'll probably go help with recruiting tonight or tomorrow. It's always a recruit. Okay, I tried. I always tried to make an attempt with one of Nick Saban's players to get them out of the process mode, but I'm giving up. You are not hearing, you're not having any of that, will. Listen, it's great to have you on, all kidding aside your story is really fabulous. We've read so much and heard so much about the relationship with your family and what it means to them. Let me start with them because it is Father's Day coming up on Sunday. And you are a junior, of course. What is your dad meant to your career? He's been everything to my career. My dad is a big influence on my own, my life, sports wise, you know, not even sports, but I just, overall, he's done so much for me, he's my head on chart. You know, he's a great person to talk to whenever I'm going through something. He has been tremendous dad. I mean, I give all the praise and love and a big child to my dad because, you know, he's my mom, she over kind of see over and takes everything because she's more the picture 'cause he is a big football ball, but my dad, he just stays in the back, but I have to give a big shout out to my dad because he doesn't a tremendous job of raising me and getting me to the point where I'm at, we're just putting me in training, you know, helping me, you know, he was working late nights, but in the morning times he would, you know, try to talk to me and stuff like that and get me right. So he's been a good helping the whole process that I've been going through. Well, I've seen I've seen shots of them a games. I mean, their parents. And they're proud of their son. And I know that you're not watching the game you're playing in it, but what does it mean to have family members, your parents and your other family members who are following you around so loyally and offering so much support to you. You know, it's funny when you say, why are we playing the game? But that's like one of the biggest things I do. If I could for a quick minute, I try to peak peak and see where they are just to know like, of course I know they're there, but just to see their faces, my parents meant a lot to me and when I know they're at the game and I know they're seated when they're not late and I know they're there. It just makes me even more excited because I love playing in front of them. I love when they're watching me play. I know it brings them very much excitement to watch me play, but I try to peek and it stands a little bit, you know, here and there. Like when my mom and dad got to see him and that's a little sad they involved me. I do think you see. If they shouldn't understand about it. Well, you know, I mean, when we watch you play, we wouldn't think you're thinking about anything else in the world, but absolutely destruction. So that's glad to know that I'm sure the other team's happy to know that you're at least looking up once in a while. Last year, last season was so interesting and I mean, we talked to so many different people and we even had Bryce young on here who was angry about you not getting that invite to New York. It seems like you almost got more attention by not going than by going, I know you it would have been nice to have been there, but what did that mean to you when so many people around the country stood up for you? Yeah, I want to just give a big shout out to all the people that, you know, supported me even though, you know, they thought I should have been there and of course I thought I should have been there for them recognizing my play and my hard work. Like I told many people, you know, it wasn't quite a blessing because when I sat down and wrote my goals for the off season, the Heisman was not even in my mind. You know what I'm saying? It wasn't like nowhere to be found, but when the train got rolled and everything and, you know, the Heisman high started. You know, I thought it was pretty cool. I thought it was very dope, you know, for a defensive player, you know, to get that hype. And you know I started thinking that, you know, I did have a changing to go, you know, I was out there playing hard, you know, just helping my teammates out, you know, just doing my best. But I mean overall, you know, I'm looking forward to it again, it's most definitely on my goal is this, this is coming up. So I'm looking forward to it. Well, well, I know you only have one life, but if you come back in another life, you might want to go to a team that doesn't have a Heisman Trophy candidate at the quarterback position. You write about that. It had to be fun though. I mean, you're on this team and you've seen this parade of Heisman winners. And I can understand it, but this year there is going to be a push. It's not easy to win the Heisman two years in a row. But I think there's a lot of momentum. I know that you're not concerned about individual awards, but it would be nice to be in New York for that, wouldn't it? Yes, it would. I think it would be cool. Well, I think you're going to make it. I don't have too much doubt. Let me ask you about the subject that is that is just omnipresent in college sports right now. And that's NIL and you have a unique story on that. The concept is that players just have their hand out. They can't wait to grab the money, but what are your thoughts on dealing with a big part of college athletics right now? You know, like I was saying back in the season, you know, I'm not judging anybody for what they do. You know, everybody has everybody goes about NIH, their own way. For me, I just want to focus on my season first and knock that out the way 'cause, you know, I have more time to do stuff in spring and stuff like that, 'cause it brings football..
