A.J. Green keeps future with Bengals up in the air: 'Who knows what is going to happen?'
"Green had a decent game yesterday He after the game was Noncommittal about his future is going to help him with that. Aj thank you. i love you. You're going to be thirty three years old next year. See it's not here not here. I mean this is. This is not something that's franchise should have to wrestle with. I do think you referenced atkins before. I do think one of the most interesting off season questions is do they move on from a guy who played a whopping seven snaps yesterday and they are roughly thirty million dollars to over the next two years. Do they move on tough. How do you not you have to start moving on from old bed players. You're your goal for the next. Three games should be to figure out who you on this roster that you can go with. It's not no atkins gino watkins. It's not going to be jay green next year them. We just we just let go of back in two thousand fifteen. They were good because for years. It seems like that's driven. The strategy gives them rewards player but andrew. Whitworth give your young lineman chance. Give some linebackers chanson and go from that. You have to figure out what you have. At some capacity because of all the whole we just mentioned in the last segment with the new england patriots cling to jeans seconds to about the current state of their team which is not great but would they cling to gino atkins. Because it used to be good a long time ago no or because. They felt like they owed him something with the pittsburgh. Steelers no with the baltimore ravens with lynn. The san francisco forty nine know what. Zack taylor's old teams. Move on move on from expense. Ami did it last year underperforming players. The dolphins were oh and seven and tanking moved on. Yes people what are they taking doing this publicly. Okay there now. Competing there in the playoff hunt. They went toe to toe with the chiefs. Like they're in a better position. I think there's a place in the nfl for jay green. I do on like a two year deal green bay or something. I don't know that there's a place in the nfl for gino acts

"Anything that I'm trying to sell to people. In this case, what I wanted to sell on strict right out of the gate was kind of like a membership and I call it MVP supporter because that's what you really are when you sign up for this. Is just like A. Pay thanks, kind of thing because I get emails once in a while people like literally asking to do that ain't going to buy you a beer kind of thing, which is extremely generous and extremely awesome. Now, there's a way to do it. You sign up for his MVP supporter on CNN and I tried to do some stuff on the site for you. For example, I rounded up all of my favorite. Tricks made them into a quote unquote book that you can read on the site, really their blog posts and I think it's better that way anyway because ended their interactive links and all this stuff, you have access to read all of that great reference material I hope the best streak, any of access to it because I set up a subscription. In Commerce on my wordpress site that does this gives you that access that it ties in with the memberships slugging. So you get a subscription which gives you a membership and makes the whole thing happened. Now, I also sell other things. Now with with their we have we dropped ship some posters in products and stuff, and that's really cool and of course, we'll commerce does that too but I really dig the subscription thing. Very cool. Thanks. So much comers for the support. So this is what you're coming at it and now you. You're you're not really you're not. You're not on a web platform team, but you kind of on a web platform team like why does the Greg of today still still? Because I done web development. You know what? Since ninety five or whatever this has been I would say it's primarily a passion project but like as I said, salesforce also has a team that does this and so if we're able to make it so that these controls ultimately can live in the platform everything..

Long fifty five. I WANNA straight up before we move on. Andrey I won't try to stop playing that. I can stop trying to say I said the rams are GonNa win four games. They went to the Super Bowl. That's not true. Eleven that year szucs to stop that. And I'M GONNA keep saying and as long as you keep planning no time line. Your timeline key is correct. Thank you yes but they did when eleven or twelve games a year say go to the. Super Bowl say that they went to the playoffs. That year. And we won't conversational more but stop trying to make. It seem as though I don't know what I'm talking about this this day in two thousand one. So far we've had Willis Reed on May eighth nine hundred. Seventy had his willis reed moment for whatever that's worth. Nobody swear but now with a twenty five eighty nine right after that I. He played four minutes. He case started the game. And you got a couple of rebounds in a bucket and then it's like okay. Setback down I for the life of me. We'll get it. I will get. We'll circle back because there's another one as well but as right now we're joined by the rams left tackle Andrew Whitworth joining us on the sprint with good morning how you doing good morning how y'all doing bigwig. Whatever man nothing much just kind of set these guys straight every now and then you know I picked. You ought to win four games a year. You are one eleven and went to the playoffs but they wanna make seem like I said. At the year I went to the Super Bowl so just want to set the record straight before people start saying the wrong thing. Ed Drew Andrew. Would you tell him picking picking you guys to win four games when you went love and it's a big West no matter what. Well that is the way I will say that. Yeah no it is but so back for your. What is sixteenth season? It's coming up so you back for your fifteen season. How much are you gonNA play? Every time I see you. We live near each other. I'm like well he can go another ten. If you want to. How much you know I look. I love staying in shape. It's become Something I just love to do part of just being me as always talked. Say the rams when we talked about this is that you know. I'M GONNA train and work out. Thanks for being saying safe and keep playing. I still love the game enjoyed competing so we can just keep the ride as soon as the. Nfl schedule was released. Did you your computer? Or are you on chill Mo like what kind of athlete are you when you're not actually on the field Yeah I mean I. I heard it was out I went and looked and You know you you check out the typical things like where you're spic trips and the streets kind of on the road and then Obviously you know who the first opponent is. Because it's really your focus for the next couple of months. What about that? Would you saw that? It was the cowboys the first game. And obviously there's a million variables up in the air right now as far as the timing of it whether or not there's going to be fans but did you think it was going to be somebody like the cowboys to kick off the opening. S-o-f-i stadium. Yeah I think most of US assume that was GONNA be the game main. I think you're GonNa snow on the relationships there between Jerry. Dan and and he's been critical critical. Part of really The Stadium and everything else and moving out here to la. I mean you kind of figured that was coming you know. It's been a big franchises to two. That are covered a lot and and Being in La. I come opening the stadium. The cowboys having the opportunity to play with Todd. Gurley girls no longer there. You pick up a young running back and cam acres from Florida state. What do you? What have you seen? Haven't had a chance to see him. Live in person obviously a practice field but the little bit that you've seen what do you believe that he'll bring to the backfield for you guys? Well I think he's just a got you know in the bill to somebody who can kind of play every down. He's he's back he's GonNa play every he's quick he's fast. You can see him in his own scheme. I think he's going to be somebody that's GonNa be really well. We run a lot and He seems to be that guy can make that one cut and accelerate and I think that You know he looks down McKee. Looks like somebody that'll fit right in what we like to do. And you just look forward to the opportunity to get those guys. It's going to be a challenge. Obviously this year without an off-season these rookies and All throughout this class but Everything we can do to speed him get him up to speed with us. He's going to be critical and we're looking forward to having him. Speaking of the off season. How difficult has it been having no? Ota's no mini camps or or anything like that the first time. You probably see your teammates in full gear will be this summer. You know. It's definitely been different. I think in some ways There's been positives to it too. Though I mean it's it's one of those things where you wish the offseason you have the chance to see the jobs and be in the same room and trained together. you know you're hopeful that everybody's doing their part and and getting their work in physically but you know it's just being on zoom calls and being on being able to see each other face to face like that in some ways it's been good too because there's a. Lotta teammates that you know throughout work and really how you split up they work. You don't see as much get a chance to talk to and some of these zooms get a little more time to just sit in the room and you're waiting for it goes to come in different things you just sit and talk and converse and You know in in some in some parts. It's been good but a lot of conversation a lot of opportunities you to sit and think about what we should be doing and making sure we're doing things the right way and just maximize our opportunities Andrew. My question is actually to extend a insularity in terms of the game itself number one is how do you feel about coming back and not having any fans and then number two based on a schedule right now house you guys fly the second most miles in the league? Do you think that we're having a negative impact on your performance You know I think a couple of years now since I've been out here we've been on the long list of of of mileage. That's for sure and You know I think we just kind of get used to it. I think it's something we almost adapt and say you know what? Let it be part of our challenge. A little bit of something. That motivates is that people think that they're going to get worse version of US version of us. It's not as good because we're on the line or traveling for. I think it almost gives you a little bit of a chip on your shoulder To prove that you're gonNA bring it no matter how many miles you fly about how much you have to travel and You know I think he come to the motivating factor really if anything and so for us. I think we're we're about that much. And the first part I mean really you know fans and how everything's GonNa play out. You know the young guys on our team you know. It's really not in our hands. It's really not in control and the only thing we can do is prepare and you get ready. Get her mindset right and There's a lot of people sleeping on our football team and we got an opportunity to approve. Twenty whenever they give us an opportunity and setup. All let's get ready do you. Does it make a difference to you that you guys may stay in a region because you have back to back. Games in particular region with the far travel does it. Is that that big of a difference You know I don't think it really matters for performance but I think what's really been cool as we had every season since. I've been here an opportunity to do that whether it's playing in London. You know whether we thought we were. We thought we were planning in Mexico City. We Still WanNa away that week and ended up coming back to La to play the game Every year we've had something similar to that and it's really interested. Also pretending for a bonding aspect because you get away for a week and you Kinda. You're not at home. You're not going back to your house and your place. You're all going back to the same hotel after practice and in between stuff and you get an opportunity to bond. It's been some time together and and I'll tell you what we've really everyone of those years that week. It seemed to be something that kind of brought us together and really promote about a team. Bond if there's going to be in on the road together into Whitworth joining us on the sprint people sought line and Andrew. The Rams have five Primetime Games. That's tied for the most in the league. D Do you look at that when this comes out how many times you GonNa be on Monday night. Football Sunday night football. You Got Sixteen of them whether they're on a Sunday afternoon or a Monday night. They're all the same. I think you're definitely look at it because not really from Oh man. We're going to be on prime time but more of a of a feeling of. Hey you know one of the Games that you're GONNA be late late games and you'll be either be on the road really late at night or traveling and different things and it. Kinda changes your week and the week may be short or long depending on when that game is. I mean you kind of doing that. You more have middle aspect of what's going to be about playing that week or what's GonNa be tough about that week You know it is. That's going to be your challenges. Obviously so you mean you wouldn't like me already thinking about some clothes in July when interest for December no question. I think you know what I really believe this There's always been era. Change like in the sense of when I was younger than the League my first four five years. I felt like you looked at prime time and it was like F- exactly your first thought and everything you worried about is like what you were going to wear our feel like. They're all like all the time you know like they don't even care about it. Just NOT GONNA get more. Followers.

"We were GONNA play that season I think it's something that funny to go back there. In this moment here we are and we got an opportunity to finish this thing the right way with three weeks to go. Oh and and be the team who we think we are To have an opportunity to go prove it again on a national stage Man I mean you. You look for ops like this and so we're we're just excited. I pretty much know the answer but I'll follow up. What is the team you think you are? You know what I think We're explosive physical football team and you really look at last year. I thought that's how we ended. Our our season. Is that the last three weeks season. We really went to more of an of really being a a run heavy kind of physical football team with our play actions actions and all the things we like to do off of it and carried that on into the playoffs. And that's who we were in the playoffs as well and you know what playing aggressive and tenacious on defense and You know what I think that. It's one of those things that that's who we were in an last season going into the playoffs and I think we're excited about. That's the football team. We look like with this opportunity Rudy and unfortunately we put ourselves in situations where we don't control our destiny but what we do controls. Are we finish these three weeks. And if somebody gives us an opportunity where we excited Andrew Whitworth here on the rich Eisen show season fourteen In in the NFL. You've seen a lot. You've you've been there you've done that you've been around so long that you If I'm not mistaken or just in your to the last time the Patriots were involved in a situation where we're wondering if they were training camera around sideline to for something other than A proper purpose. I'm done dancing around the subject. What do you think about this subject matter? He you know. I think it's tough off. I mean obviously it's one of those that's GonNa send up Everybody's alerts across the League. I mean obviously you know it's one of those things when you keep being involved in a topic or or something and it just centers around seems to be one team It it makes it tough because it's one of those things where you go. Yeah it sounds like it's a harmless situation but you know what. Why is it always this team? That's involved in these harmless situations and those kinds of things I mean. I think that's one of the things that has players across the League in general. I think that's really the thought most guys have just because it's tough that it's always seems to be involved in something like this and I know also it's just it's just funny. I mean the whole situation. We're filming in advance scouting documentary documented. Or something I dunno for. Local is for their own television show and behind the scenes Shooting behind the scenes footage of or or of of people doing their job for the Patriots. I mean you're you're broadcasting department is here training two cameras on us right now on the show you know You know what I didn't get a heads up And again we were genuinely concerned that they're shooting at least eight minutes of behind the scenes footage that might reveal richeisenshow show secrets for other shows to try and come at us. But we're understand that people come at the king you understand Anderson But how do you think this is GonNa play in locker rooms across the across the NFL. Do you thank like I said I I think it it creates a lot of you know just skepticism. God's just you know it's like hey why why is it always seemed to be that they're involved in something but at the end of the day it sounds like it's something that's pretty harmless but It's just you know it's all also very strange that you're just filming the bengals sideline I don't know how how paranoid or teams in the NFL. I mean about signs and then I think well I think in particular when it comes to them. I mean a lot manno every time you play them or gone there when I was in Cincinnati it was always a like. It was the different week when it came to that kind of stuff. Let's be careful with you. Know papers that were handing out or let's be careful with things we're talking about certain places and not if you're GonNa have to talk about things concerned give you there in a hotel somewhere like who knows who you know. It's always a joke. It's a running joke. Hey what what person and on the staff out here you know at the hotel might be You know you know talking to the Patriots. It's it's like a you know I mean most of the time it's it's kind of just being facetious in just making a joke of it but at the same time it's like hey you are thinking thinking about that while you're there I mean they've been a part of it so I mean it is what it is you know. They're also a tremendous organization have had a lot of success but they've also been involved in some things you know. Raise the raise the Antennas a little bit on that kind of stuff. Andrew Whitworth few more minutes left. Okay Coach Oh and Joe Borrow and and the rest of the team I'm just naming just to. It's been dynamite for me to watch and I have zero allegiance to the school Does this make you nervous. You look in for a trap door were you think this is this is GonNa be for. LSU It makes me nervous the only thing They've just played so well that you go man I mean You know just in in general and football eventually you would think you have your game when when you don't and so you just keep saying hey you know what. This team's talented enough. They have the right right makeup. They're made of the right stuff and hopefully they can continue to put this together for two more performances on a you know schemes fits you know quarterback play. You know windows. That are being hit. Joe Borough is out of his skull right now. What are you seeing when you watch him? Play special really the poise Just the command he plays as with You see a young quarterback who sure looks like he could be a heck of a pro quarterback he he just has a columnist to him in that pocket in in Toughness I you know. Sometimes sometimes watching him play You know a a little bit of oftens Burger to me like he's a little tough to get down and fight sacks off Brady Not Ben. Yeah but you know you you really think of how many times you seem a really avoid people in the pocket or kind of toss rusher off of him and then find a way to get a ball out. I mean it's obviously playing in the AFC north. I watched Bandou it to us and Too many too many times thought we had him down on the ground. But you know you see Joe doing that kind of stuff. We just seems so calm. There's a rusher coming free and there's is really no panic in him. It's just how can avoid this and still keep is downfield and you know. He's not dropping his eyes and running all the time I mean you just you see him as a guy that looks like he he he can really play the position and understand the pocket and understands how to play and what to do with football. You know in coach. Oh it just seems to be pushing every button properly. We had him Mon- I think was Chris Today after two days after Lsu beat Alabama and we asked him about you know the video that came out of the locker. Room him saying Ah Profanity in relation to Alabama roll. Tide you know that. And he said we talked to the kid. And you know You you know we we. He understands it's not the sort of stuff we get out there and I basically say well you know a lot of people in Alabama might think that that is exactly how you feel about them and he laughed often.

"He's a good man and a good friend of this program and life is good for him right now certainly especially on the football front his LSU tigers are ranked number one getting set to take on Oklahoma in a national national semifinal and his loss Angeles Rams with him anchoring that offensive line. That's been changed due to injury. Pretty much all around him. The Rams if one three of four and look just like the team last year that made the Super Bowl and last month he is Andrew Whitworth to see you sir. Good see Richie so You it's funny to Brockman and I when we saw you back in our green room we see these purple and gold shoes and you and you said Lsu Right L.. Response was what I said. The lake show and the Lakers man. That's why warm you know what a purple and gold. You know. We're on top right now. Twenty one three in the NBA and undefeated undefeated in college football man and now and now the rams as well let's let's start obviously with With the rams here I what has changed in the last month that you can put your finger on forever. Well I think really just The efficiency throughout our team. You know if it's if it's really the young guys if it's the guys around those young guys playing playing better. It's you know all of us at the same time finding a way to be better version of ourselves to be able to go out every single week. Play at a high level and have that expectation you know not just hope it happens but they expect it to happen anytime you you. You're dealing with Youth and in replace an injured guys. There's going to be all there there's GONNA BE A. Hey you know what development trust and understanding one another talking about in general. I mean really just offense in general I mean you you gotta think of everything from run Plato. Pass by the the box. You know how how you've always done it for them in the past. These young guys gotTA learn how to do that in the back. I learn how to trust them and the quarterback scholar now to trust the line and all those things. So it's it's really about coming together as a group and being able to trust one another go out to expect effect to play well and know that you know what I don't need to worry about. Who's doing their job? I expected everybody is and let's go out and be confident play. Well how taken on a leadership role in this with all those young guys on that line John Andrew. Well I you know it's one of those things I feel like to me How I do things and how I hoped that Those guys would really Also voice that I would do it is that I feel like I'm that way every single day that I'm in the office and work regardless of the situation and so this year even more importantly I think it's one of those things where I always say this young guys to me when you come in the NFL your first couple years. It's about learning how to play. Good football you know then all of a sudden you get a contract and it's about living up to expectations of playing good football and minutes. How do you take the next step? How do you become a leader? How do you become a guy who not only do? You need to play well-being you may guys around you play. Well there's a different progression so for me. I've always taken that to heart right that it's really about what more can do other than just the football side of going out and doing my job. I've got to be able to affect everyone. Help us all do our job and so for me really. It's it's every single day with these young guys talking about the things that will help them be good football players today tomorrow and in the future and and making sure that I don't ever let anything slip anything slide Adan You know what I'm just constantly. There formed ask questions and then also to push them to be the best thing best players they can be and for me. It's been an awesome challenge. It's fun to see that youth. Those young guys getting their first opportunity ever sure the excitement. That's that's there for them every week. you know. Almost the Fawn of. Oh my gosh. I'm planning clue. AMAC her our own goodness and playing Chandler Jones. You know these guys two years ago. They're watching these guys on TV. You know and so it's It's fun to see their faces in their excitement. And it almost gives me renewed. Spirit are doing what I do as well well again. You and your fourteen that that is amazing to hear As fans and members of the media Andrew Whitworth here on the rich Eisen show hearing somebody who's been in his long as you have or anybody who's veteran say. Hey you just got to play better you just got to trust people. We're we're looking for a quick moment. We're looking for for okay. That play that moment that game was there one. Can you identify one are really think for us. Honestly if you look at it really for for just talking about r line and really the injuries we've had and having new gas have to step in and play you know you really look at coming out of the Pittsburgh game with all. Those injuries happening You walk into the week and say all right you know here we go. We're about to play the bears and A great defense in in in a bunch of really special defense allowing over there. And you say all right. We're going in it with gas who've played a whopping You know me an awesome life of play these other guys. Have you know really one of them started a football game before and so Out of three guys one start you know. We knew it'd be a challenge but there was almost just like a an energy in a in a you know what let's just go take our a shot. See what happens. Let's all go out. Be Physical. All three of them. Were big fiscal athletic. Young kids who have bright futures like man look just go be aggressive. Go Go Out and just you know what play like. It's like it's your first time playing high school football by with energy with passion. And let's see the chips fall you know and and just will be aggressive and those those guys did it and and obviously there's good and bad in the game but you go man okay like these guys can do like to go out on this stage and perform the way they did all right and then the next week against Baltimore. Obviously it's a landslide game that you know they they really had a tremendous game against us but really upfront. Gas showed some progress. There was things that guys were doing better you just watching them specifically and then you know the next week you come out. And it's like all right against Arizona. They have a great performance. And it's like okay. These guys are getting better and better every week and then this week continue to show the same thing so I think that's what made us excited is that they really kind of just as a group. We put our feet in the ground said. Hey let's just go out and play with energy and passion and see what happens and every week. It's gotten a step better and an and that's what really makes you feel good about their group and and happy for some young guys getting opportunity. We're seeing girly the OG show up when he when he when he stiff arms. Trey flowers like that. WH- what is it like for for the team just single moment like that. Yeah I think you know for for running back to me. That's one of those opportunities. It's it's no different the sack fumble for a Russia. It's it's no different than a huge over the over the top catch for receiver for his position. You know that opportunity of just saying you know what I won't be tackled I think the Inspir- inspiration really that you're lying gets that your offense gets and goes man you know that guys on our team and And there's why we all love him so much Chizik he has those moments in games just like man. He just refuses to be tackled and does something explosive. Like that to really still football game for us I I hi this year. I've always had respect for Todd Gurley. I've always thought Todd Gurley was a tremendous player and really just a great kid in general since I met him This season I've I've grown it just really truly Such a love for him in the human being he is. Why is that? You don't really just you look at everything that happened. All the media speculation all the things that pointed to him all off-season long Really not a lot of positive you know. And and the way he's dealt with it the way the leader he's been in our huddle the leader he's been in our locker-room groome every single day with his passion and pushing guys to play better and responded never once complained in every once saying ow deserve the Baltimore deserve this opportunity or are these things It's always just been about our team and to me a guy like that. It's a tremendous player. He is to carry himself the way he's carried himself. This season mental. I'll never forget it and I and I'll always have the utmost respect for him for it. Left tackle Andrew Whitworth in season fourteen Four time pro right here on the rich. Eisen show continuing on with girly. He's he's getting the rock more since you were talking about that bears game. He's getting it more. He's getting those touches. He's damn near on a couple of games thirty touches which is a very high watermark mark. Freni running back and certainly for him when asked where this came from Y. Now Sean McVeigh said. It's me not being an idiot now. I've never heard anybody call. Sean mcvay an idiot or anything remotely close to that. Is it really just him or is there something else. Andrew what I said earlier is that trust factor right that all of us really. I mean we didn't run it well early in the year and not because of todd necessarily just because we weren't executing run plays very well and so we we got forced to throw it and then we also had some games were down and we all of a sudden had to throw it a bunch and so you get in those. Oh scenarios and you start going all right well you know what. Let's make sure we're not losing our identity. A little bit of what it is that we do well and Trying to find the trust of. Hey we got got a younger guys. We're trying to figure out how to block things the way we want them done. And all those type things and I think really it comes back to all right. You know what you you gotta young line. But now they've shown shown they can do these things. Just trust them. Let's give todd the ball and let him be the guys always been for us and and that's really what it's come down. I think that's more what he's saying is that it's really. Hey let's trust trust what we got. Let's trust who we are and let's just go out and play that style of football and let the chips fall how they will and and. I think that we've seen that that that really is who we are. And how we play Bass does it mean to be clan. Dallas late afternoon whole country will be tuning in your team's one three or four. We all know what's going on in Dallas. What what what what does this mean? Do you think this game this weekend. I think it means a lot I mean I look at it too. It's funny that it's a you know a little bit of a symbolic game for us too. Because it's it's the game that in seventeen you know really L. E. People said we put ourselves on the map you know when we had a loss to Seattle at home and People were trying to figure out who jared Goff was. Sean McVeigh was our our first year altogether. We go on the road against a Dallas team that at that time you know. People had a lot of expectation for that season and get down early in the game and find a way to come back and have have this huge win on the road. First Time really as a team like that and and I've never forget it was really that moment that season that things took off for us and we raw to we were in the style football..

Which college produces the best NFL talent?
"A special edition of N._F._l.. Live on deck today at the N._F._l.. Celebrates one hundred season just six weeks away however we are just five weeks away in college. Football Opens It one hundred fiftieth the anniversary so today welcome N._F._l.. You were combining the two worlds to answer age-old question what college produces the best n._F._l.. Talent however I'm Wendy net sand Hutus here you know what's better to be on this panel our expert notice icy expert telling me when Lewis Minute of her panter on the list not on the House for back the quarterback guru he and his brother in a lot of N._F._l.. Games James A lot and Ryan Clark. You see the L. L._S._U.. They are ills college football. L. Is Jonathan Vilma bike. He will join US shortly. He happened to win a National Championship and Oh by the way a super bowl as well coming up on N._F._l.. Live will break down position by position which college produces the best quarterback Oklahoma has the number one overall pick the last two years we have the top ten plays all the N._F._l.. Superstars when they were in college and answering big question which school produces the best all time N._F._l.. Talent we had to ask the players themselves to kick things off. We're the first pick quarterback Oklahoma Viva say Oklahoma Alabama Clemson because proven it is one atop factory the Ohio state highest in Alabama. 'cause I never lost beat out. You really can't understand it into your inside. Sadness programming is all about the you for N._F._l.. Because of Georgia in every aspect but I think L._S._U.. CRESA environment of gray competition and guys is trying to feed off of IT University of Pittsburgh. You Got Dorset. Dan Marina you got Larry. Fitzgerald was not a me show. It's about having everybody involved in working for the Sandal clumps in would cushman he's been doing. He's making people believe everything is possible for House is the best our stop it. Stop stuff well. Let's start shall we with the most players from each college currently in the N._F._l.. Alabama leads the way with V with sixty five players players followed by Ohio state in second place with fifty eight so we're going to debate these schools I in terms of who is best at producing N._F._l.. Challenge here's a tale of the tape on Alabama at Ohio state success since the two thousand draft folks tools I have had thirty one first round picks the most of any school while the Buckeyes have thirteen more total picks in the last twenty drafts but Bama's players have been slightly more successful in the league producing three more pro bowlers than Ohio St Louis Rick. Let's start with with the crimson tide. They're starting eleven if you will offense and defense current N._F._l.. Talent there's any question that these are both very impressive lineups that if Alabama can roll these teams out there right now now. I think they'd win a few games without a doubt. If you look at the offense aside outside of the ball the first thing that jumps out of these starting eleven are the two wide receivers look Julio. Jones is one of the finest athletes in the N._F._l.. For guardless of position he's in the news right now because he's about to get a new contract extension and he's really one of the he's one of the transcendent players at the position that this game the scene Amari Cooper the same way. When Amari came out of college? I remember doing his tape in thinking point honestly as far as catching one pet and run wide receiver. I hadn't seen one as good as him as him. In a long long time on the defensive side look they have fine players throughout the eleven here really that when you get to the secondary and you guys like Eddie Jackson Landon Collins I mean these guys are disband tastic players on the front dont`a hightower our multiple time superbowl winner. These are great great players right here. Make our way to Columbus shower of the to Ohio state you go to the offense side of the football. Look the first thing that jumps out without a doubt as Ezekiel Elliott because if he's not the best running back in the N._F._l.. He would be considered a top three running back in the N._F._l.. Wide Receiver Michael Thomas Really someone who was unheralded coming out of college. He's a tremendous tremendous. Pro will probably be the highest paid wide receiver in the N._F._l.. In short time then move over to the defensive side of the ball this this is where really this football team really kind of jumps off the board starting up Front Joey Bosa Cam Hayward those are two of the best defense alignment in the N._F._l.. Right now and then when you look down there at the Secondary Malcolm Dyson Dinkins Denzel Ward Marshon Lattimore doesn't let's get much better than that. All right Jonathan Vilma made his way again surly qualified to weigh in on this discussion. Look I mean there's a shortage of talent with either of these squads. It's almost ridiculous factory and a lot of ways both of these institutions but let the debate again a Ryan Clark. You can't pick L._S._U.. Just yet but when you look at this group what stands out L._S._U.'s better than both of these things we're gonNA get to that. We're supposed to be talking outlets. Let's be honest. There's amazing players. Neither one of them have a quarterback right before proven yet though little I mean why don't we always have to see something first before we can get you well Ray Richardson running back right you saw God compare that with you why time gentlemen we're GonNa play Nice Got Ninety minutes ago. You're the Glenn Difference from every other position that we're looking at okay fair enough now back to you Louis. It is a production results oriented industry. Is it not so it is fair to say seeing something. Does one believe they'll be success won't sure but I mean we're we'll see this is kind of like a combination of what they have done in college. What some of these guys have done in the pros in some of it's a little bit of projecting about what they're gonNA continue to do in the pros? That's how I'm going to expand it to that all right so at quarterback quarterback Dwayne Haskins I believe right now. There's no comparison as far as I don't care what A._J.. McCarron did it Alabama cows tape. Those Wayne has close exact Haskins is going to be a fine football player. What's going to happen to him? Really is going to be more predicated on what Washington redskins overall due to him then what he does to himself. I firmly believe that as far as these rousers overall look the wide receiver position Julio Jones Amari Cooper. Julio Jones's the standard if you go and look N._F._l.. For an offices and look in their scouting books books every team has a standard at every position that they put for scouts the suit for as far as whenever when their scouting people polio is going to be on that list for for many many teams he's about as good as it gets so skill positions at Alabama are awesome. The defensive players at Ohio State is what stands out for me as far as their front seven is concerned particularly their defensive line and their secondary Denzel Award Marshon Lattimore. You tell me a team that wouldn't take those two young men right now and startled. Let me ask you a specific question since you spend some time as an analyst watching these players at the collegiate level if you had to choose either of this group Alabama Ohio state who's players really got better or who took a bigger step forward than you anticipated when they got to the N._F._l.. Out To you to dance your last part no neither standout. They're pretty equal because watching these guys watching Jonathan Allen he played okay well Dante. I'll tell you knew who is going to be tremendous player defensive player C._J.. Moseley's same thing and then you go to the other side and you look at Joey Bosa Nick Bosa Darren like Malcolm Jenkins. I play with Malcolm Jenkins in in New Orleans knew he was going to be a study. He's Philistine but what is surprising how fast or House they defense is. I did not realize how fast defensive you think big ten you didn't big Brawley guys not so fast but these guys can move joey. Bosa also can move nick volks in Darren League. We know the Burner Malcolm J. Denzel War March. I mean that is a very very talented athletic fast fast defense. I thought I was going to jump in your rookie. I think that's a great question Wendy about as far as what teams teams have players that have gotten better pros. You look at Ohio state this look at their offense. In particular Michael. Thomas was a good wide receiver to hire Stayton. He's fantastic now. He's GonNa be highest paid wide receiver in the N._F._l.. Andrew Norwell most people wouldn't even know Andrew Norwell well what from Andrew Doorbell he right now just judge Moore Norwell can't open open some N._F._l.. Spectacular and even on the defensive side of the ball. I didn't think Marshon lattimore. I've liked Marshon Lattimore at Ohio state. I didn't love Marcet. He has taken his game to another level as well in the really own Alabama side you know how I feel about Alabama I feel nick and what he does and how he builds his program but really focus on their offense align that was just look okay and think about that question. Wendy Wendy asked how many players have gotten better how many have continued to improve Andre Smith may have his best days at Alabama. Dame's carpenter has really been good pro Brian Kelly the jury still out he could be a he's a good player. He's GonNa play already in Indianapolis D._J.. fluker was he ever ever really that guy that dominant guy no. He hasn't been Cam Robinson. Have you seen story so it's interesting because they're preventing people have been many people who've hit Alabama and said they get the best out of their players at Alabama. Maybe it's good discussion legal where people go by what teams there drafted so we look at Michael Thomas he falls into a place where he needs an accurate passer and he's one of the most accurate passers all the time also about the place you land in ashore and how they develop you ask Josh Rosen he absolutely he knows that all too well. I ten Hasselbeck. The whole point of this is to pick one of our producers here a little bit we talked. I'm going Alabama mainly change quarterbacks. Yeah I think looks great point about the offensive line at Alabama because so many of them when you look at them just in terms of body type you're like Oh my God look at those guys body type wise but like I don't know that some of those guys have come in and be like Oh and they got a whole lot better. We're obviously splitting hairs here on this ongoing Alabama Lewis Sorry Nick. Oh from a hustle change your mind or did you stick the way said one because I don't care if between Haskins hasn't played. I think he's I think he's in the saints. Stratosphere is A._J.. McCarron so I like that I liked it their offense of line one of the things that talked about how they develop those guys on the defense aside but they're fun four plus their secondary this going with them Ryan Clark you have to pick one while I was brought here for one reason in one reason only when the Knicks because everyone knew it my answers it would be and what Tim Hasselbeck has proven is. You don't need a quarterback. That's really he's GonNa be Ohio state in Alabama that don't have quarterbacks guess what we don't need a quarterback back and by the way you don't want our first off was good enough for Bill Belichick your boy to draft him as Tom Brady's heir-apparent draft. We thought they they went to L._S._U.. Because this guy has what they decided to we throwing the ball all around the field Andrew Whitworth he's played a thousand years. There's a Guy Jerry go look at the Neil hundred may has like negative two percent body fat Michael Broncos out. There aren't key. We gotta wait on them but it's are are you at the back of position. That's all we got mad. I gotTa get here all even have to work conviction when you spoke scissors. I'm sorry I just so tim. I love your twenty. Two question your toughness Whoa West I've seen because as you know what fair enough he's at Alabama alum landon dare you wait into the circus that we've created. But what do you have to say about this. Whole debate ain't Ryan got some good good good stuff going on say? I wouldn't question his toughness at all. I don't know why you questioned Ryan toughness. I saw him not got a lot of Alabama's always number one no matter Corolla tyrod. Let me ask you a serious question. You know obviously nick. Sabin is a hall of Famer one of the best ever coach this game but specifically what does he do that has allowed such historic success at the university. Steve Alabama <hes> as a coach he speaks for as a coach. He represents his players as players coach. I would say he makes all this coach. All the players are on the him as a player as a father <hes> <hes> and as a as many tried to teach us they'd be a man and a great play all at one time you know so he does it all leading. Can you please tell the people why you are now better that you have trusted your career training with the guy from L._S._U.. Hey right you agreed trying to grow been gone on gone for years

"But you know, what it's one of those things that I keep saying this about Jared over and over, but it's just the truth Jared and Todd boats here, this they're extremely talented young guys that are just a talented it being people. I mean, they are they are they are great with their teammates. They're great with people on a general basis just to talk to and and their hearts, and what they wanna do the positive fact they wanna have on people. And and it just makes it so easy to root for him. Because not only how talented guy Todd is. But how much it means to him for you know, you to understand that he cares about you. He wants everyone to do. Well, he wants the team to do. Well before anything else. I mean, it just makes it so easy to work with somebody. Who's that talented that special who also has that kind of heart? I what did you think of golf now tweeting out to Halle Berry with this whole audible here is I think he's kind of over skis a little bit here, isn't he? Yeah. He's probably out of his league. But you know, what you know? He's I I love it. I mean, that's Jared. The great here. Hilarious. Hey, he'll be the most excited guy in America. She tweets him back. I can't imagine. Hopefully, it's good getting back home and good luck against Kansas City. Thank you. So much of great week. Andrew Whitworth the spent ten years with the Bengal. He's one of my favorite guests. I just there's you know, the off a lot of offense lineman. You don't realize sometimes, you know, they're, but they they're thinkers, they have things to say. And I just like what he did with the donation of his check and he'd been on before with us. And I remember when he the Rams got him and people said, you know, people in the business analysts go he's going to be unbelievable that that pickup is going to be unbelievable. And I thought at the time he was like thirty five and I went and how good can he be can he how good can you still be? We've seen it in with that Rams offensive line. All right. "Was he the one who decided to two to name this play this beautiful play Halle Berry was his choice. I don't actually know that it's fact rich, I'm pretty sure that that might be the case. But I don't actually have one hundred percent fact on that. So say that, but I will say you know, what I good for him. So. Because you know, he's he's a bachelor here in Los Angeles. Right. I mean that that's a way to get on somebody's radar screen. I imagine if you're the quarterback of the Los Angeles Rams. Hey, man, you're twenty three and the quarterback of the Rams, and, you know, having a great year at thinking you can get away with that. Okay. And then in terms of playing in this offense. He said, it's my favorite player of the year is how he responded to Halle Halle. And we're we're waiting to get a response to should be forthcoming from Halle Berry in terms of playing in this offense. You've played in a lot of high powered ones prior to the Rams what is it like being in this offense coming up where where so many inventive ideas are being thrown in your direction, and you're being trusted to? Simulate all of it and executed. Andrew whitworth. Well, I think there's just so much precision that goes into what Shawn wants to do. And he knows every play you can see them visually. So well that you know, I think that really for us. He's able to describe and ask us in a certain way, how to do things that I think that the way he's able to kind of create the picture we can see it too. And I think that's really what happens is that. Every Sunday Star plays. We really honestly have a true belief that if everyone just does exact way we were coach to do it the way that Sean is really giving it to the coaches to present to us that we have full confidence at the plays work. And so it really just comes down to the really the process more than result all week long. We walk through steps through run these plays over and over and over again and kind of have a concept of exactly how defense is work, and while these places work, and there's a full belief that they will we just do it the way we were post to do it. And I think when you're operating. Well, that way that's what helps you have success in this league that everyone's fully competent and their job and doing it to a high level aren't Andrew before. Let you go. Is it true you donated game worn jerseys to after the game yesterday? I don't know there's so much going on a witch where you've donated them where where did you donate game worn jerseys from yesterday, and how can people go ahead and bid on it to raise money. The captain's of all our captains donated our jerseys after the game, we all saw them, and people can donate believe on the Rams website that can go on there and donate auction basically to bid for those and interested other way, we can try be something, and you know, make a difference. I mean, there's just import like I've said adverse times rich you'll you'll never feel bad about just trying to help in some way. But if you sit there and just worry about what you could do miss the moment. You know, that's where you're messing up. So we're just trying to find any way, we can just be active. Get our feet on the ground and be involved in trying to be part of the solution. And I'm just proud of our team. And really just the effort guys have made to do that way to go. Andrew Whitworth way to go man, and my best to your family and most importantly as well, your neighbors. In the first responders and the people affected by the shooting and the way that you and the rest of your teammates have taken a leadership role in the community that you've you're still new to and and best of luck on your travels..

"In the world today when you're out with your friends places that reality, and maybe this is a your gauge talking to them about which is unbelievable. AG whitworth. Rams offensive tackle your big, dude. I don't know how you're holding your phone, but we're catching only one out of every few words that you're saying so in the few minutes, we have left here with Andrew Whitworth. Let me ask you this. Look you play football for a living. If we all could do it. We would do it you make a nice chunk of change out of it. So I say that only the caveat Ville a lot of folks out there that obviously would say, well, he's a football player. So that's my caveat. How are you getting through it? How are you and your teammates getting through all of this playing a game? Okay. Where obviously your livelihood online. So as your health and on top of it, you've got a Super Bowl wishes that you could bring home to a community that you've just described certainly could use that sort of distraction. How are you handling all of this with your teammates, Andrew? I think you just continue to to challenge each other that we're made for this. I mean, you know, as players that's one of the things I encouraged our team with what I thought to them Thursday, if the shootings was that, you know, what we play one of the few jobs that yet that amazing job. And we get rewarded very well for it. But every single Sunday, we face another force of another group of people that are extremely talented in a really good, and we're playing through all kinds of injuries. We're playing through a lot of adversity and if anybody should be able to understand adversity and handling pain and playing through it for one common goal should be NFL athletes. And so that was one of the things I encouraged the guys it's important for us to stand up and be strong and show the community that we're we're in it with them. But notice during the game yesterday that a certain play call from your quarterback yard Goff was Halle Berry Andrew and when I say couldn't help. But notice I also include Halle Berry in that. She tweeted catching that what what is the play? Call Halle Berry best you can describe it without giving away too much. Well, you know, what I'll just say this. We thought it was a really beautiful play writ though. You know what? What else would you call it then Halle Berry? So, you know, I think we can all come to an agreement how beautiful even be, and, you know, so it a hopeless. You understand that the complement? Okay. You know? I think that's what the Jerry tried to let her know it's beautiful play. And we're we're glad that she noticed that. Now, if this is in fact, Jared shooting his shot Andrew is at him. Can we give them full credit?.
