"Marginal legal advice. Right. Tell you. You have no case. All right. This is story out of Britain. But he can happen anywhere anyplace. There is a man David Young who has been ordered to pay an airline in this case. West genesee. European airliner is one of those cheapo Kripo airliners discount liners liners, and here's what happened to him. As soon as the plane takes off, you know, where you hear remain seated until we hit ten thousand feet, then you can use the restroom kind of thing. He immediately gets up and makes a move towards the bathroom and this happened right after takeoff. So you as he makes a move and the restrooms are locked at this point. So he goes to the restroom and he tries to open it. And the crew comes over and says you can't do this. You have to go to your seat. Okay. So far, so good. He goes to a seat and literally just a few seconds afterward. Go goes up again stands up, and then goes back to the laboratories and tries to manhandle his way in there, and it's locked. So at this point the flight crew comes up and says, you know, you gotta sit down he becomes aggressive to flight attendants and another passenger who is trying to get him calm down. And it was that altercation was so extrordinary that the captain had to turn around and fly back and captain needed to dump about twenty thousand pounds of fuel because they're not going to land with a full fuel tanks because the way it works is the airliners put on x number of fuel to be safe. They don't land with full tanks. So he dumps the fuel and everybody land safely, of course, they arrest him. And so they tag him for the cost of the fuel and the judge agrees. The judge says you have to pay now this is the criminal trial where the judge ordered him to pay twenty thousand dollars in restitution actually, twenty one thousand dollars in restitution to the airline. And and the judge says if you want any more money. You're going to have to go to court for that civil court if he only has to pay twenty one thousand dollars, that's a bargain. Because I just needs through that one because it's not just the cost of fuel. What do they cost the maintenance is amortized over the maintenance schedule of an airplane? You know, they can only fly so many hours before they have to go back in and be maintained. And have to be checked out. The engines only have so many hours on them. And so there's a lot more money involved. And was there overtime what happened with the crew? Did they have to get another crew because you have a crew that's only able to fly X number of hours and they're coming back. And so anyway. That makes sense to me. I wish this would happen more and more where people get tagged for that interference. With a flight crew. You know, you can get up to twenty five or twenty years jail for interference. From the flight crew. I think twenty five thousand dollar fine something like that. So that makes a lot of sense to me. All right. Mike. Hello, mike. Yes. How do I sue a corporation in a small claims court? Really? Okay. Here's when you have a computer. Yes. Okay. You look up in the search word small claims court. Okay. And that'll give you all the information. Okay. But if they're not in the states because all the dealing with the eight hundred number we don't know what they're located. That's a problem because you have to be able to locate them. Okay. Jurisdiction. Who are you suing is that appliance company that is part of fears. All right. So you know, what who the folks are? Eight hundred number. Okay. So now you have their name yesterday. Have. Okay. So now, you go on the internet. Okay. And you put up their name. Okay. And you will have their address because it'll print out. So he doesn't have to be a specific person. Just you can you can name a corporation. Okay. Very thing. And based on your intelligence questions what I'm going to suggest that someone else argue the case in front of the judge because I don't think you're going to be doing such a good job. Hi, welcome. Yes, bill. I've had durable. Tarver attorney and a health directive for a friend. That's fifty eight years old. Did suffers from schizophrenia she's been in and out of care centers. And institutions she wasn't. She was an owner of a piece of property in Los Angeles. And her sister that lives in Texas sold. How how does she sell it? Because I if it's your friend's name on the deed, your friend has to transfer the property. Okay. Well, that's exactly what they did. They had a broker and notary. Okay. So it's fraud. Okay. So they've fraudulently did it. Okay. There was okay. Fair enough. So now how much is the property. Go ahead. The property smarts about six hundred thousand because there was three units. But it's not in a great part of town. But, but the thing is is that the property was paid for and the sister wound up with all of the proceeds then of course, he did. Of course, if it's a was willing to forge your friend's name. Of course. So where do I go from here? Are you hire a lawyer? You have to hire a lawyer not going to do this one on your own. You're going to have let's say you're going to have to set aside the sale and then go into it's a big legal mess. One lawyer said what? Okay. I had one lawyer said that she would go ahead and handle it. But her purse her personal assistant would charge twenty five dollars an hour. Thirty five dollars an hour to go ahead and do the research now that is the part that scares me because they're going to be billing me of well, how do I know? What you I'm gonna be able. Yeah. Well, the the problem is that they are going to be billing you and you're going to have to take money out of any proceeds as your friend have any assets at all. Okay. So you're going to have to find you're going to have to find someone who's willing to do this on a contingency basis or you get to write the checks. Okay. Thank you so much. All right. And if you need a lawyer, go to handle on the law dot com. And see if lawyers are willing to do this. Now, it's clear cut as what you say. Then there may be there's a good chance that someone will do it on contingency, but that's not going to be easy to find because lawyers. There's very little upside unless say, I'll take a percentage of what we collect. And then there can be some serious money there. This is handle on the law. All right. Let's check in with Tessa in the KFI newsroom. This is an update. The Santa Barbara county. Sheriff's office has ordered all residents in the Thomas Whittier and sherpa fire burn areas to leave the Ventura County sheriff's office has ordered residents of the Mattila that Matilde. Mattila canyon Wheeler springs area for you to say you want to try that again, if I don't, and I I really don't and the Ventura beach RV resort to leave. The LA county sheriff's department is urging residents in the Wolsey fire burn area to be ready to get out at a moment's notice.
