"Of the shooting. The 14 year old suspected shooter appeared for the first time wearing black pants and a lime green shirt, the Glock 32 found during his arrest is believed to be the weapon used to fire 5 bullets into the back of the 17 year old victim. He did not enter a plea. We learned the name of that 17 year old victim killed at Ingram high school on November 8th. It was ebenezer Hale. He was identified by his family in open court today as the teens accused in his shooting death faced charges. Students in Seattle schools are calling for gun control measures and more mental health counselors in the wake of last week's fatal shooting at Ingram high school. The district is considering what can be done, but there is no talk of bringing resource officers back into schools, carling Johnson reports. Four school engagement officers with SPD were assigned to Seattle middle schools until June 2020, there was another resource officer at Garfield high until then. The backlash though against police prompted the district to remove officers from schools. Seattle police officers guild president Mike solin says having officers in those buildings can and has prevented violence. They were able to circumvent intervene on a lot of the violence and develop rapport with the students. Solon says the politicized climate between the city district and police has negatively impacted how students feel about officers. These kids are being led in a path of unreasonable activism based upon being uninformed. To me, in a teaching environment, that's an alarm. District superintendent, Brett Jones, plans to form a community team to consider security options, but at this point, the district says there is no plan to bring back police, carling Johnson, northwest news radio. "Time to find ways to move more. With this medical minute, I'm Justin Finch. For what it's worth, I'm Mark remount, some desperate moments for a mom and a couple of Kansas City cops. Come on, sweetie. Come on. That from the body cameras worn by officers Charles Owen and Richard duchesne after getting a call about a baby who wasn't breathing. Turn it up, hit the back. Turn. Come on, sweetie. Officers relying on their training. Come on. I can hear a little harder. Come on. And one month old kamaya responding after a few seconds. She's breathing now. She is breathing. Officer Duchenne, saying, afterward. We always have that fear in the back of our head that is what we're doing enough. Is it going to be enough to bring her back? "Okay. It's a hot muggy afternoon. And we are about to see the Colorado River. And we have just driven for hours and hours through the desert to get here. And we're not talking about just like, oh, it's a little dry looking. We're talking desert. And we see it. I believe this is the Colorado. It's even has water in it. This is the sizable river that is moving quite fast. I don't know anything about how deep it is because there's sandbars in the middle, but it is wide, but it's not like wider than the Charles in Boston. Oh no, no, no, but I mean I'm just saying for a western river, it's not a bad size. They get your east coast rivers out of your head. I shook my head a bit to get rid of the image of the Charles in Boston and just focus on where we were, which was near Jack's farm in Blythe, California. It's on the border with Arizona. We've come specifically here standing in California looking at the Colorado River and talking about how much water we saw because this is really where the water goes. Blythe farmers have one of the strongest claims on Colorado River water. They're part of the prior appropriation system. They get their water no matter what the Colorado River compact says or doesn't say. Play honestly does not have a ton of charms today, but what it does have is this prior appropriation of rights to Colorado River water. This is thanks to one Thomas blade as you can probably guess. He's the town's namesake. He bought the land the town's mostly built on and he was smart enough to file a claim on the water he was using to irrigate that land all the way back in the 1870s. And most of those farmers are still in business. They have senior water rights, and their water is tied to their property. Obviously, it's not the exact same farmers we didn't meet anyone who's a 150 years old, but these farms are still in existence, and this is the point of prior appropriation, it's how water works in the west. The first colonists to use water had senior rights to that water, and landowners and Blyth were there even before the 1922 compact, so this means that Blythe farmers have access to their water before anyone who has more junior rights. Jack told us that when he wants to irrigate his field, all he has to do is call up the irrigation district manager and tell them he wants to open a canal gate to his field. And a guy in a yellow pickup truck comes down and opens it up for him and keeps it open as long as he wants to let in as much water as

"Well, because the ongoing mega drought in the southwest. Alex Hager with member station K UNC reports. Millions of Californians have already been using recycled wastewater for years. For things like watering lawns, taking showers, and yes, drinking. It comes from facilities like this one near LA, where a complicated setup of pipes and pumps is pulling water from the sewage treatment plant next door and making it ready to drink. Rhubarb Sony with the metropolitan water district of Southern California is showing me around. So now this water looks like what you expect water to look like it's really clean and pure. After this point. Water reuse can feel like an odd proposition, especially when you consider where it was used before. The water that's flown in here is coming from flush toilets and kitchen sinks and shower drains. Exactly. There are plans to expand this small demonstration plant to produce 300 times the water it makes now. That'll cost more than $3 billion, and more than a 100 million to operate each year. But the Colorado River is drying up. So water managers are scrambling to boost supplies. Sony says this is a way to help keep taps flowing for about 19 million people. Yeah, it's super exciting. It is going to make a substantial change. It is going to provide a new supply. And Southern California isn't going to foot the whole Bill. People further upstream are going to help with that. David Johnson is with the southern Nevada water authority, which serves the Las Vegas metro area. I think it's really a perfect solution for Southern California. And I think it's a perfect opportunity for us to be able to partner to and demonstrate that partnership in a tangible way. While this whole region needs to cut back on water use, negotiations between the states for how to do that have been unproductive. There's been lots of finger pointing and little compromise. So this collaborative energy stands out. The deal will work like this. Johnson's agency in Nevada is ready to put up $750 million to help pay for this recycling project in Southern California, a facility that their customers will never use. But when Los Angeles is flush with more potable water, it won't have to draw down Colorado River reservoirs, like Lake mead, and that conserved water will be freed up for all the people in Las Vegas. We would be able to actually not have to build any of that transportation infrastructure to be able to get water from one location to another. It just makes a lot of sense to us. But that trade isn't cheap. Recycled water costs about twice as much as current supplies. Felicia Marcus says it's worth it. There's not a lot of a car other than it's expensive, but it's a smart investment. I mean, my view is that it'll be priceless in the future. Marcus has chaired California's water control board and the Los Angeles department of public works. She says it makes sense that agencies in Nevada and Arizona are already putting millions towards securing a supply for the future. The reality we're in now won't exist under climate change. So we have to look at what's the economic cost of not having that water. The southwest is dry and climate scientists say it's getting drier. Temperatures are rising, snow is melting faster and flows in western rivers and streams are projected to drop another ten to 20% by the middle of the century. Water recycling won't solve the region's inability to meet demand, but it'll be one way to help keep water flowing as there's less and less to go around. "Businesses attract interview and higher candidates, all from one place. Learn more at indeed dot com slash NPR. It's morning edition on WNYC and Michael hill. When Eric Adams was campaigning for mayor, he said, ambitious goals for building new bus and protected bike lines. But 9 months into office, both goals appear already out of reach. WNYC Steven Nelson reports his transit agency is also struggling to keep up with routine demands. As a candidate, Eric Adams said he was going to be the first mayor to use a bike to get to work. You are going to see me on my bike all the time right in two and from city hall in the real way. He made big promises about street improvements, too. He'd put in 300 miles of protected bike lanes and a 150 miles of bus lanes in four years. In April, mayor Adams was already boasting about how busy his transportation agency has been. We get stuff done in this administration. That's why we continuously use the term historical, but 9 months into office, Adams is nowhere close to meeting his campaign goals. The administration expects to complete 30 miles of protected bike lanes this year, and for bus lanes so far, the Adams administration has installed just two miles. Unfortunately, mayor Adams isn't getting things done for bus riders. That's tabitha decker deputy executive director at transit center. Bustling are one of the most effective tools that the city has to speed up our buses, which are the slowest in the country. The slow pace of work comes as some advocates worry about a brain drain at the Department of Transportation, one indication of trouble is the way routine documents and statistics aren't being updated. The vision zero crash map hasn't been refreshed since the end of July, the map has data that advocates and analysts use to determine dangerous intersections in the city, and bicycle counters that show how many cyclists are on the streets, haven't been updated since April, since Adams took office, routine reports on street safety that used to come out reliably during the de Blasio years, haven't been released yet. John orkut, with the group bike New York, worked at the DOT during the Bloomberg administration and says the agency is struggling to retain talent now. That's repelling people who are the driven interested talented cohort that the city needs really badly. A spokesperson for the DOT didn't address this. He did say the agency plans to spend $900 million on street improvements, and that a lot of road work is typically done in the last few months of the year. Steven nessen, WNYC news. "Does not seem like that long ago where if you were a racing fan in the Chicagoland area, there was Arlington, sportsman's Hawthorne may wood, and even balmoral about an hour south, and now there's only one of them, Hawthorne's the only one left. That they're getting those summer dates back. That is an area of the country that is just so wonderful over the summer and to have racing and to have an event that people can go to is good for the sport. It's good for the region. It's good for the fans. So we're very much applauding that, of course, you bring up some names of parks that we all enjoyed our time at and we wish we're still around, but take a positive out of the story, at least Hawthorne is getting summer racing. Yep. And if you're a racing fan there or just feel like going to Chicago for a weekend, you're going to get thoroughbred racing next summer at harthorne. All right, let's dive back in. Starting with this monster card at parks, it is their marquee day of the season in such a big day that despite the fact that they raised Mondays Tuesdays and Wednesdays year round. They've decided to actually run on a Saturday this weekend not only because they've got the marquee event around the country, but give racing fans in the Philadelphia area a chance to come out on Saturday and enjoy this great racing. 5 graded stakes on a ten stakes card tomorrow at parks races 8 through 12 make up the stakes, believe it or not, I can't believe it's not an all graded steak pick 5, but it isn't. Other than that, though, I have no complaints. In the 8th race on the card, is the grade three Greenwood cup for three year olds and up going the mile and a half distance on the main track. We've got a field of 9 and believe it or not, Dave lone rock is not in the field. It seems odd that you'd have one of these extended dirt races and the name lone rock would not be in the race, but the horse who's been beating lone rock of late fearless is in the race, and he's 6 to 5 on the morning line. Yeah, I mean, fearless is the most likely winner. At 6 to 5 with a bad post, I'm not going to pick fearless, but I am not going to argue with anybody who thinks pressure and going three turns horse that is sharp having won back to back races has won at this distance. It is the most likely winner because fearless is the most likely winner. I was hoping to get 9 to 5 two to one. That's not the case and because that's not the case. I'm looking elsewhere. Number three magic Michael really, really likes this surface. 9 for ten at parks, including one for one at the distance. And I think the four to one morning line is reasonable. Number 5, riding with Biden has beaten western river number two and magic Michael number three recently. It has thrown up a couple of really, really big figs at Laurel and a Delaware, the record at parks is fine two wins and three seconds from 8 races, but where I went and it's a value play is with number 7 the reds. And I wonder if because I read Ortiz up if you're not going to get 5 to one, it's a step up. It's a stretch out, but the reds is really sharp right now, running against optional claimers Saratoga finished second in July, beat a similar crew in August. I thought both races were impressive and fast. And I don't think the red test to be dramatically better just a little bit better on Saturday to win. Now, it is a horse stepping up, but I thought the races at Belmont and pimlico in 21 were pretty good against graded stakes competition. And I kind of liked the reds though. I fear that you're not going to get 5 to one because of the jockey. Well, I'm rooting for you because it's not a race that I'm looking at playing. I couldn't get creative in here. I went to the 8 fearless for two simple reasons. One, I think he's the best at this distance, and I think he's just the best overall. I'm not worried about the post, I think that he's a versatile type who can be up close or come from off of it. The one thing we don't know is how he will handle the surface at parks, but it doesn't seem to be a quirky surface like maybe some other racetracks are. I do know this. His good races are better than everyone else's good races. So if you think he's going to run a good race, it's going to be hard to beat. He's 6 to 5 on the morning line. I think he's going to be four to 5 at post time. I'm not interested in betting four to 5, but I think fearless will take the Greenwood cup. By the way, one of the horses you mentioned magic Michael actually won this race last year. So we obviously know that he can handle this mile and a half distance. 9th race on the card is the grade three $300,000 turf monster for three year olds and up sprinting 5 furlongs on the turf, the bane of my existence as a handicapper as it were. We've got a full field of 12. In fact, we've got 15 entered one also two main track only, so 12 of them going to go to the post in this spot, Dave. And number one, that's right is the morning line favorite at three to one. He's really, really fast. It's just a question of how far he goes. Yeah, I think this is what you call a rider's race. Half the field is trying turf for the first time. There are a bunch of horses that aren't accustomed to going this distance and there is just a ton of speed in here, including that tepid favored that's right that you mentioned. That's right makes sense. The four turf races in a row have resulted in three victories last time out didn't make it in a stakes race at Saratoga. Those three wins were at Monmouth and won at pimlico. I am fine if that's where you ended up with that's right. At three to one, I'm not particularly interested, but certainly viable and reasonable. Number two surprise boss says I read or tease up and I think has been facing better horses last time outran in the same race that that's right was in and finished just ahead of that's right. Now that's right with 6 to one and surprise boss was 27 to one, but you go back a few races and you see ones that fit for surprise boss, but surprise boss is another horse that wants to be on the lead. I really had difficulty finding a horse that I thought could rate and could come from the back and the one I ended up with is number four, nothing better. And I say that because there are winds in the form where nothing better was just off the pace. I mean, nothing better is a speed horse too. I'm going to toss the last one going two turns Monmouth. Go back to the sprint races and I think nothing better looks pretty good and I think nothing better in Louis size sit just off and they get a good trip. They make the run and they charge by what could be an absolute cavalry charge out of the gate. Okay, so you went with number four, nothing better. I'm going to take a stab with the 5 uncle Ernie for John service and Joel Rosario, Joel by far the best rider that uncle Ernie has seen thus far he is, tried 7 starts all on the main track at parks and he's never been out the board. I would guess that breeding wise he is should be just as good if not better on the turf than he is on dirt being by talent search out of a broken valmer. He's never run on the turf. He's never worked on the turf, but he lures Joel Rosario and his speed figures on the dirt would make him a contender.

"Into America's day at the races all weekend long on the Fox family of networks, Fox, FS1, and FS two. All right, Dave, let's jump right into it right now. And big racing at Saratoga tomorrow. They've got a couple of good graded stakes on tap, starting with their 8th races, the grade one, $350,000 Alfred G Vanderbilt handicap, three year olds and up going to sprint 6 furlongs on the main track. Field of 6 going to post, I'm going to say it's not the best betting race of the weekend unless you think you can beat Jackie's warrior. Yeah, you were talking about that bankroll builder. It's a terrific promo. These two races Saratoga, these two graded stakes, these high end races. I'm not sure how much bankroll you're going to build with them. Jackie's warrior has won ten graded stakes races. The other 5 horses in this race of one, two. Jackie's warrior has won three races this year, all three impressive, dominant performances. And a B effort is going to beat these horses. Now Jackie's warrior is one to 5. On the morning line, and if you think there's even a possibility that Jackie's warrior is going to get pushed, whether it be by Doc amster or Willie boy or knee deep in snow, maybe there's an opportunity for New York traffic or long range toddy to go get them at the end. Jackie's warrior is so far and away the most likely winner in this race and probably on the entire card. It's not even worth debating about that being said, I told myself if I could get plus 404 to one on New York traffic, I was going to dabble in the morning line is bigger than that. New York traffic is a horse I've always liked a hard knocking type has run against really, really good horses and sappy Joseph recently has turned New York traffic into a sprinter and it's gone really well. The four races under a mile since the beginning of 2021 have all resulted in victories. Do I think New York traffic is as good as Jackie's warrior? No, I don't. At 5 or 6 to one, I'm going to dabble. Jackie's warrior is probably going to win this race. I think New York traffic if there's any sort of a pace scenario going on has a chance at a nice price. I agree completely with what you said. My question to you in this race is not whether you think Jackie's warrior is going to win. We both think Jackie's warrior is going to win. Most people think Jackie's warrior is going to win. At what point in the wagering, how many minutes to post, will Jackie's warrior be higher than one to 9? Oh boy, I don't know. 6 minutes to post. I mean, this seems like, you know, it's going to be almost within the last three, four, 5 minutes before people even see one to 5 on him. Yeah, I mean, and what that does is it creates value on others. Jackie's warrior has that, I don't know, 75, 80% chance of winning this race. And one to 5 is what? 83% is that right. So maybe you think there's value there. But at one is 7 or one to 9 by definition, there has to be value on somebody else. I think New York traffic is clearly the second best course in here. Clearly, the second most likely winner. And I think the price is going to be fair. I'll tell you what's even scarier about Jackie's warriors that I think he might like Saratoga more than any other track that he runs at. He's four for four there and he somehow was able to pass life is good at Saratoga last year going 7 furlongs in the jerkins and you think about it. Life is good it's not getting passed by horses going 7 furlongs and I know it was not the greatest ride on life is good that day but still Jackie's warrior was able to run down life as good going 7 eighths of a mile. He loves Saratoga. He's going to be very tough to beat in the Vanderbilt. Race that's not quite as clear cut is race number 9. The $600,000 grade two Jim dandy for the three year olds going a mile in an 8th on the main track just a field of 5 here and it may only be a field of four because western river is actually supposed to run in the kerlin earlier today. So if he decided to go in there, then we're just going to have a field of four. Either way, it didn't look like western river was a major player in this race. The three major players, according to the morning line, are epicenter early voting and zanden and they are three very talented three year olds. Yeah, I think this is one of those great races to watch. I can't wait to see what happens. I don't think it's a very good race to bet on because it's a short field and the logical contenders are all going to be somewhere in the neighborhood of even money. So you're asking who's going to win the race? Well, there are three logical candidates. I'm not a tiny person. I know others that are tawny port won the Lexington. I thought that was kind of a B minus level group of horses, three weeks before the Derby ran fine in the Derby, came back in the Ohio Derby and beat kind of again a B level second tier group of three year old field. Nothing wrong with those he beat just probably not the highest end group. And that leaves you with epicenter who ran second in the Derby and the Preakness and early voting who won the Preakness and zanden who won the blue grass and then ran third in the Derby. They all are really interesting looking horses. They're all horses that at various times I've liked a great deal. I can't bet zanden right now because I have the Derby etched in my head at no moment did I think the sandin was going to go by epicenter. Epicenter just looked better than sandon in that race. Now maybe the cut back to a myelin 8th is really helpful, no doubt the time off is really helpful. I just have watched that replay so many times and sandin's in a perfect spot and can't get by epicenter. As for early voting everything went his way at pimlico, he hadn't run two weeks previously and the pace scenario was the complete opposite of the Derby and he took advantage of it and he was terrific. To me at the center is just the most battle tested and this time as opposed to running on two weeks rest versus early voting who was rested. It's a fair fight. I like get the center of the best. None of the three of them would surprise me. Okay, I'm going to go the opposite direction. I picked zanden to win The Kentucky Derby. I'm going to pick him to win the Jim dandy.

"And they're off. AP's secret and make it big. Those two go out for the lead with a golden glider, a close up third as they go into the Clubhouse turn. Getting over to the rail is AP secret who has the lead here. And then it is make it big who is running in second. Followed next by golden glider in third and the front three have opened up three and a half lengths, artorias has made his way down to the inside and in fourth. And then it is better next than 5th, the favorite creative minister runs in 6 Gilded Age on the outside is in 7th and the trailer here is a western river in 8th. The quarter one in 23 and four 5th seconds AP secret leading, make it big here, make a big getting closer now to AP secret and the two of them are heads apart for the lead with golden glider running in third and artorias is fourth now just four and a half lengths from the lead. Creative minister has moved up into 5th. Now about 7 lengths from the front. And that it is B better and Gilded Age, the half was running 48 and one 5th seconds, and they're going around the far turn. And it is still AP secret and make it big with artorias gaining down towards the rail. And then on the outside golden glider, followed by creative administer creative minister, looks to advance down at the rail and the field is at the top of the stretch here comes artorias now up to challenge for the lead. And arturia is now taking the lead as creative minister moves up on the outside AP secret is down at the rail and in the middle of the course it is gold Gilded Age. It is artorias who's in front and has drawn away here. Our torias wins the curling stakes. Gilded Age up for second. It was close for third between creative minister and AP's secret. Look like unofficial 9 two 7 three it's actually pretty close there for the show dough between creative minister and AP secret, no doubt about the winner number 9 artorias looking really good for Chad Brown and irad Ortiz owned by Judd mon ends up winning by about four lengths covering the myelin and 8th in one 50 and one looked on paper like a horse who was going to appreciate the further they went being by arrogate out of a ghost sapper mer. Turns out that the myelin and 8th right up his alley and we'll see where artorias goes next. I'm guessing the waters will be deeper but so far he's done almost nothing wrong in his career and he looks like a very talented three year old another one in that Chad Brown farm. All right, we owe you prices from over at Gulfstream park where results of race three have gone official and it was the number four hot bodie getting the job done. "So they're not in the race, creative minister is your 9 to 5 favorite. I happen to think this is a pretty good version of the courland stakes that we're going to see this year. Creative minister is certainly one of the ones that has a big chance to win. Two horses just outside of them are both three to one right now on the board and they both have a big shot in here. Be better for Todd pletcher and artorias for Chad Brown. I'm going to lean just very slightly toward our tortoise. Debuted at keenland going 6 for a long, finished second, only beaten a length and a half after being about 7 wide turning for home. And coming from well out of it. They stretched them out to the one turn mile at Belmont last time out. And he got the maiden win as a three to 5 shot like you should. He beat a horse named gasoline, who's highly regarded. They were well clear of everybody else. He's by arrogate out of a ghost sapper mayor, he should appreciate extra distance. So this will be his first time going to turns and his first time going a mile in an 8th. I know the outside post is not phenomenal. But I think he's logical in the spot he's three to one. Be better has come off back to back mile and 70 yard wins around two turns at Monmouth in his most recent two starts, Louis sias picks up the mount on the son of uncle Moe, who coincidentally is owned by uncle Moe's owner, ripoli stable, Mike ripoli, of course, be better just looks like a horse was getting better and better. I don't know what he beat in those races at mom. I shouldn't say that. He beat a horse named cyber Viking last time out and he beat that horse by about 5 lengths and cyber Viking came back in one in his next start. So be better is beating decent runners and he's taking the logical step up in class. So western river, interesting spot for him. He avoids the really marquee names tomorrow in the Jim dandy of epicenter and early voting and zanden and even tawny port if you want to count them as a marquee name. And he comes into the curl and today, which seems like it should be a softer spot. It's softer, but it's not soft. And that's why he's 8 to one right now on the board horses are approaching the starting gate. Before they get

"And this is the featured event of the afternoon. It's the kurland stakes. It's a restricted stake for three year olds that have not won a steak at a mile or more in 2022. So yes, this is a stake race, but it's kind of an allowance type race for them having a condition like in there. And the strange thing is the person of a $135,000 while it sounds like any of us would love to have the winners share of a $135,000. The persons are so good at places like Saratoga in general. This is really just kind of like a high allowance type of purse there. A mile and an 8th on the main track scratch number 6 wolf county leaves us with a field of 8. By the way, at Saratoga, perfect conditions, 83° sunny skies, main track is fast, the turf course is good. They actually took one of the earlier races off the turf today, but left for the scheduled turf races on, including the upcoming 8th and tenth races and the turf course is rated good for them. Of course, they had plenty of rain throughout the day yesterday and if you were listening to the race day broadcast, it actually was raining buckets during that four to 6 p.m. time frame and track went from muddy to sloppy very quickly. Well, happy that they are back on the turf for the most part today. An important note about this race, important note regarding one of the races this weekend. As we opened the show, we heard the tremendous stretch run from Tom durkin, the call I should say from Tom durkin of the 1991 edition of the Jim dandy, fly so free, ended up beating the Derby winner strike the gold and several others that year in capturing the Jim dandy. The 2022 edition of the Jim dandy, of course, takes place tomorrow at Saratoga and it's not the biggest field in the world, but there's a lot of talent in the short field Chad Brown sends out both early voting and zanden. Of course, early voting winter from this year, zanden, who ran a nice third in The Kentucky Derby in his most recent start epicenter is going to take on the two Chad Brown trainees at the center coming off back to back second place finishes in both The Kentucky Derby and the Preakness stakes and then he got tawny port in there who recently won the Ohio Derby, he'll be the longest shot in the field. Western river was also entered tomorrow in the Jim dandy. He would have been the longest shot in the field of 5, as it turns out, he qualifies to run in the kurland states today, so he was entered in both races, probably wanted to see how tough the Jim dandy came up came up pretty tough, even though it's a short field. So bras, the trainer of western river, decided to go with what looks like an easier spot on paper and western river runs today. So it will just be a four horse field tomorrow in the Jim dandy. For those of you who listen to our call in show yesterday, we had an abundance of calls. It really took me by surprise and abundance of calls from people who are based on the east coast and devoted New York racing and Saratoga racing lovers say that they are really disappointed with the quality of racing in mostly the field size at Saratoga and they've actually started looking more at del mar races since they opened up last weekend, which is a shock to me. Hey, most of you know that I grew up in Southern California. Del mar is my favorite place in the world. It is. I'm not saying that it's the best racing in the world. It's my favorite place to be. Saratoga for the most part has the best racing. Keenland, obviously, when they're running, has the best racing. Dalmar was more of, I just love being there. They have really good racing probably not on the level of keen linder Saratoga. The field size, though, is so much different this year at del mar than in years past and even more importantly, so much bigger than what you see at the other Southern California racetracks right now. The ship and wind program that was started a few years ago by the folks at del mar, not only has caught on, but continues to grow. They have ridiculously good sized fields. Now at dalma, something you've never been able to say over the last, I don't know, ten, 15 years for racetracks in Southern California. The field sizes are great at delmar. They're getting a lot of horses that aren't normally running in Southern California to run there, and they have some really good races. So tomorrow's Jim dandy at Saratoga is not have the field size. It has the star power. It just doesn't have the, it has the quality but not the quantity. And it should be an interesting race. Meanwhile, we're about two minutes away from the featured race today at Saratoga the kurland, a mile and an 8th on the main track favorite is a horse that you know. It's creative minister for Kenny mcpeek and Dylan Davis. Creative minister has not run a bad race thus far in his career. Yeah, he finished 5th in the Belmont stakes last time out. He didn't really get out of the gate all that well that day and let's face it. It was a mile and a half. I'm not really sure running 5th behind moda and nest going a mile and a half can be considered a poor effort. He ran fine, maybe he just doesn't want to go on mile and a half. He did run third in the Preakness behind early voting in epicenter. Obviously, if early voting or epicenter were in this race today, they'd be two to 5.

"Is the number to get in. James, we've got some great racing this weekend at Saratoga for the three year olds, including that grade two Jim dandy coming up this Saturday at the spa $600,000 on the line, a myelin and 8th field of 5, so much to the dismay of some of our callers already today, another short field, but a very talented field of 5. With the exception of number one, western river, who looks like a good horse, but not a great horse coming off an impressive allowance when last time out. You've got several graded stakes winners in the field epicenter tawny port early voting and zanden going to renew acquaintances in the Jim dandy. a short field, you know, you look at it to me and it's like, you know, you get these short fields. It's like really important. Just like the figure of the pace and one thing's for certain I think early voting drawing to the outside of epicenter makes it interesting to see what Joel Joel or his area will do with epicenter because that's a quote that back this earlier this year in the lecomte stakes there is in stars at risen star stakes that he led wire wire in or led almost wire wire in the comp, didn't let wire wire in the risen star. He broke the field in both those races. He broke his extremely sharply. He broke well in Louisiana Derby in Rosario just took a hold of them. And then in the Derby and the Preakness, you know, he's Lorraine going for more of like a stalking type trip. He missed the start of the pretense. To me, he's a horse that's been freshened up, Bobby. And in off of that freshening appears, he's been training forwardly. I've watched some of his works from Churchill or one of his works from Churchill, and really looked like he was going effortlessly train it for like U.S. before the Derby. So to me, if he breaks, he's going to go forward and early voting will both be four, but I don't think early voting went to necessarily be going ahead and had he sat just off the speed in the pretense. And I just think those two horses have a tactic all advantage. Horses like sandin and tawny port, who's coming on tawny portes off a wedding in Ohio Doherty. They just need to be finished and, you know, with some Gusto, I don't know if I don't think either one of those two compete epicenter or early voting. I would pick it up at the center early voting went to because of the post and so that's the reality. Well, I think it's deceiving looking at the PPs for epicenter in his last two starts. He was 6 lengths behind in the Derby early on behind a blistering fast paced, so he didn't really want to be on that pace. And he made a move that looked like the winning move and just got run down by rich strike. In the Preakness, he was just terrible out of the gate that day kind of broke flat footed and then somebody came in from his outside and he got pinched back and was far back early you could whether you're reading quotes are actually heard what Steve asthma said you could feel the pain in his voice when he's wondering what the heck they were doing so far back in the early going. And I don't think it was necessarily Joel Rosario's fault. The horse just simply did not break that day and unfortunately kind of got pinched back and all of a sudden now he's 7 and a half lengths back of what's really not a fast pace and early voting was able to stalk and get first run. A lot of people think epicenter actually ran the best race that day. He's just not going to beat early voting when he's 6 or 7 links behind him at the first call. I would not be shocked if epicenters on the lead. I don't think he has to have the lead, but it would not shock me if he's on the lead in this race and fresh and ready to go and I think the morning line maker got it right. He laid epicenter as the favorite at three to two in the morning line. This is a tough morning line to make three to two on epicenter 8 to 5 on early voting two to one on zanden. So David Aragon is basically telling you, yeah, I know these three horses are all good. I'm not really exactly sure who's going to be favored, but I think he got it right. I think they're going to bet epicenter and I think he's going to show a lot more pace. Yeah. Yeah, I agree. I agree. And even if early voting gets out there and puts ahead in front, I think epic center is going to hold his position on the inside and he'll be in a position just to come down final quarter mile, three eighths of a mile, you know? But I think both horses are going to be going nice and easy and not running each other into the ground. And. This isn't the main target for either one of them. They're both coming off layoffs looking to try to win the traverse. I mean, sure they'd love to win a $600,000 grade two race who wouldn't. But, you know, like I said, I don't think that in race like the Travers, maybe one of those sources would be all in for the lead early just to try to lead with our wire, but not necessarily on Saturday. So I get with the post, I think that's the edge, tactical advantage to epicenter. So not knowing who's going to win this race, yet, epicenter, zanden, early voting, all looking at possibly going to the Travers, cyber knife, likely headed toward the Travers for his next start. Likely heading toward the traverse for his next start. Nest, not likely heading for the traverse, but possibly heading for the Travers of those 6, who do you want right now in the Travers? Well, I mean, right now, I can't watch this year. Listen, I'm not going to ask you an easy question, buddy. I don't need to ask you whether you'd rather get paid 20 to one or two to one. I want a tough question answered. I could say awards like epicenter getting redemption on the traverse and just from those run up finishes. I would give him a slight edge right now, all these being equal. I thought, you know, you know, I thought he was the best horse outside of rights rich strike. I mean, he was the best source in the Derby and I thought it was racist earlier this year. He really progressed and he comes back running on Saturday. There's no reason why I can't continue to progress off that race. So I would take epicenter right now, you know, there's a bunch of them would not have it. And I think cyber knife has big upside for Brett Cox, but I don't think he's as good as epicenter right now. Let me ask you this. I'll ask you a little bit of an easier one. Maybe of a more known thing. So we know that cyber knife has of now is pointed toward the Travers. We know rich strike is pointed toward the traverse. We know that they're considering the Travers of the Alabama for nest. Would nest be bet heavier than cyber knife and rich strike if she goes in the Travers? Well, she'll be bad heavy her than the red strike, big time, but I mean, cyber knife, you know, I think it'd be close. I'm gonna think you'll take some money in the traverse off of that race. You know, he was 7 O one in there. So, you know, he's I don't think he'd be favored. How about this question? Because, you know, and unless I'm missing something about charge it, he's hanging on for the traverse, right? Off of that 23 length win. And I think, you know, he's going to, I think he's going to get some recognition off of that victory. And, you know, you know, top Fletcher trains both of them, I guess, is my point. So there'd be a question to maybe, I don't know. I just looked up charges, so he hadn't worked. So maybe it's a new point since that race. So we'll see if he gets back on the work tab. But, you know, there's a horse that's coming off a 2023 victory. He had the entrapped epiglottis in The Kentucky Derby. His best races are all in front of him. And I think he's a horse that people might be betting a sort of a wasp guy guy horse of all things were good, and he was going in the traverse next, but we'll see if that's the case. Yeah, I don't like the fact that you say he doesn't have a published work since his last race that bothers me a little bit. And I haven't read anything about him. So hope everything is okay with charge. We're going to take our final time out. When we come back, phone lines are still open. You want to give us a call? 888-966-4776 is the number. "Jump on the same topic. I can go both ways with it, but I mean, really I have to admit to del mar. Sarah told not what it used to be. That's number one, as I'm concerned, it's a place to picnic. Homosexual. When I started when I went in the early 80s, you could walk up to the horses. It was a different vibe. Yeah? Going up the next month, a day or so. But if you had to give me a choice between Saratoga or del mar, del bar hands down. Well, we appreciate your call, Rick. Thanks very much. And so we've now got three east coasters who have called in James surprisingly have voted for del mar over Saratoga, not that they dislike Saratoga. They just don't think Saratoga is what it was a few years ago and it sounds like they think that del mar has gotten as really improved. And I know our friends out at delmar love hearing those things. Listen, we don't have to tell them the numbers are there. They had a phenomenal opening weekend. And the field size is great. And listen, first in the nation last week. When you're arguing del mar and Saratoga, you know, you're saying, which kind of milkshake do you like better between this and listen, just give me every milkshake I can get. That's what I say. Let's go out to all the men right on the point about the product at del mar being great so far. And I hope it continues. It is still late July and both of these meats are going through September or early September. So there's a long way to go, but there's no doubt. I mean, delmar has done the management there has done a great job putting on a better product this year. It's been fantastic. Let's go back out to the phone's Peter. You've got Bobby and James on the bris and that dot com call in show. Thanks for taking my call, Jim. I was just wondering, you know, I live up by the Saratoga spot track and I go up there like, you know, three times out every four or 5 days. I'm just wondering what happened to all the older horses. I mean, they've had all the dirt racing for the stakes horses for the older horses, like today, for example, they had 5 horses in the Brooklyn, the coaching club they had like four or 5, all the dirt snakes races for the older horses that have four or 5 horses. We're on the horses. It's going to be more of the same this weekend, Peter. I think the answer. I know that Sunday has a decent Beal, but both these stakes on Saturday have the western river scratching out of the Jim dandy to run in the curl and Friday. It's going to have four in that. You've got 6 in the Vanderbilt and it looks like one of those Delgado horses could scratch. So yeah, real short stakes fields again this weekend. Well, I'll tell you, and we appreciate your call, Peter, but the other problem is there's a lot of other options out there right now. People, as much of a draw as Saratoga is, it's not that far of a drive to go to Monmouth. So you get horses like search results running in the Molly pitcher as opposed to running in the shoe V at Saratoga. Del mar's got the San Diego handicap, it's got a much better field than what it normally draws. You know, horses like country grammar and mandolin is out there, send your booster door who's been racing in Texas is out there. These are horses that maybe in different years would have gone to Saratoga. I mean, Mandalorian coming to del mar for the San Diego handicap. That's something that I don't think a lot of people saw. Mostly think of mandolin as a Midwest or east coast type runner, but Brad Cox has sent him out for the San Diego, so there are a lot of other options out there and people are taking advantage of these. And you got like four shippers for the grade one Bing crossby on Saturday. Yeah. It's one of those things where people have decided that it's worth their while to ship and especially when the purses are big or when they have other horses in their barn that can take advantage of this ship and win program, you know, del mar has been proactive and had a great idea over the last few years and it's really hitting at a full force this year and it's affecting tracks on the east coast and you can hear it there in some of the callers we've had already. Let's get one more call in James before the break. Vince in Saratoga, you've got Bobby and James on the Bruce net dot com call in show. Bobby, I'm not on the four O 5 three way baby. I'm just walking out of Saratoga. It's really nothing better than being here. Well, you're certainly going to have a lot less traffic getting home, no matter where you're going from Saratoga than if you were driving anywhere on the four O 5 this time of day. Yeah, well you remember my call last week, Bobby. I was a little upset. I know in my heart Mike Smith should have won the Haskell. I mean, you'll not tell me any different. He went too wide. I think he thought he had the race in the bag, but it hurt, I wish you would have maybe stayed inside where he was and how do you guys feel about it? I'm just listening to the show right now, but and of course the line maker had the odds absolutely, you know, upside down, but how'd you guys feel about it? Am I wrong on that? Do you guys feel Micah could have took another course and won that race? Well, I appreciate your call, Vince. James, why don't you go first on that? So let's recap, first of all. So taba was sitting a good trip kind of in and amongst horses and didn't look like he was really doing his best and it wasn't until Mike Smith got him out into the clear that he really found that gear and he looked like he was going to win and win going away, but he just got outgunned the last furlong by cyber knife who had more of a ground saving trip. Yeah, that's what I would say. I mean, good call by Vince, but the best of luck at Saratoga this weekend. I thought what you said is right. I mean, I thought you go back and watch that replay of it and tie bed cyber night both come under a little bit of a rod on the far turn. Both of them were the jockeys were a little bit worried there for split second. And when like you said, when he split them out like, I mean, he was like three wide in the stretch. He really responded and I just thought he got late. Like he said, I just don't think, you know, being so lightly raised and running up running 12th in the Derby. He came up short and cyber knife responded and took advantage of it. You got to give him credit. He ran faster than he has before. I mean, the thing with cybernetic to me is by gun runner. I mean, that's why I sort of think with that early voting too. I think those horses are going to be are going to keep getting better as they get older. Like gun runner did. I mean, he was way better at for than three. So I like that I like that he's moving forward right now, but. It's a case where cyber knife to me just, you know, had more seasoning had more experience. He both horses finished out of the top ten and The Kentucky Derby. Cyber knife came back and had a prep in the mat whim where he had to work hard to win it. And then he improved by leaps and bounds in the Haskell or improved significantly move forward off that race in the Haskell and tiba didn't have that kind of setup. That has all the bounces back okay out of that race. It's going to still do them a world of good in my opinion. And he can continue to move forward. He ran a good race. He just cyber knife, it took him a courageous effort by him to squeeze up the rail. To me, cyber knife didn't have that option, you know, the leper sort of got caught where he needed to cut down to the inside, where Mike Smith, like you said, I mean, he could swing him outside and the horse really responded when he swung him off the inside. So I don't fault the rod I just think he came up a little bit short. All right, we're going to take a break. When we come back, we're going to look forward to this weekend's races and including the Jim dandy. I know that James has some opinions on that race. Would love to hear who you like in the Jim dandy. "Ten times is rather lot are all of those ten trips. The same yes no all these trips traverse the same length area of the canyon and the river but not trip is ever the same. It's always different weather. Different stops visiting different places. It's different every time. Well and then it went. We took my differences and you can stop me. If i'm wrong here. I can think of at least four different types of trips that one can do in the same part of the river. I can do a paddle trip or paddle. In my hand. i can do an or trip. Where the guide has great great big oars. I can do a boat. Or i can do a dory if i'm particularly crazy which is a wooden boat. Am i missing a type of trip. That's basically it. You got it. Sometimes that modern day dory's are actually were fiberglass would but basically that's right those are the four basic type of boats. They're using the river. Okay and robin you did. We did a motorized was called the j. rig and actually the outfitter that i went with you mentioned the outfitter so western river expedition and this is a motorized craft that they have patented. So what's one thing. I learned on the rivers even the motorized crafts which are much bigger than the smaller rafts. There different kinds so this one. The unique design is it's five like pontoons strapped together straddled together very securely and then in the center. There's kind of what creates than a bench seat. Which about six people could sit on looking forward in the back. It was so cute. There was an area. They called either the chicken coop or the princess pad. so certainly that sound. That's much much safer and you hardly got wet. But the adventurous folks when you wanted to you were rafting and going through the rapids. Straddling those pontoons in the front. So you really had a variety of seating on that jake so that was a unique design that they offer And now randy your nine trips that you've done on the tenth one that's coming all on the same type of trip or different they were all non motorized rafts. Okay and many companies run what they will referred to as hybrid trip komo where they'll have four or five were powered wraps and then maybe a paddleboats. Well okay so some people love to paddle all the time and to always be in the paddle boat. Tom people never want to be in. The paddle boat. Went to be or boat and then you always have the option of switching out from day to day or morning to afternoon so you can get a variety of different boats and so all my trips have all been this combination of paddleboats or boats. And sometimes they will take a little one person. Duckie along the inflatable kayaks inflatable kayak and for some of the smaller rapids. They will let you cattle a duckie through some of the smaller rapids but when it gets to the bigger rapids. They usually don't want you hit a little ducky right well and we have done one episode of this very trip before an amateur travel. You're gonna have to go way back to find it in the archives and we did it with the founder of oars which is another outfitting company. George went who is no longer living. He died a few years back but he would talked about this particular trip. And then at the end of that show i asked him. What other trips do you recommend for people who can't get on or don't have the time to do this trip because this is like a week long trip said about right mine was six days randy. You're probably much longer yet easily..

"Culture and arts could be pushed of big cities Absolutely i think the main the main killer of the arts is Is high rent. You know There's nothing that kills culture faster than high rent and the higher. The rent goes up. The more people give up there are to career. You know because they just can't pay the rent with it anymore. And sometimes they change professions and which is a huge cultural loss to the city and sometimes they move out of the city which is also a huge loss. We have you know working class people and artists moving to the outskirts. And we have you know. Richard people coming in and taking over the city center and that that really changes the city And and it comes with a whole host of problems itself. You know that that's happening here in cork absolutely I've lived in several different cities around the world. And i've seen it happen everywhere. I go And like most of my friends Don't live in the in the city anymore. they've all been vic did They've all had to move out to the outskirts It's it's it's a pattern. That happens everywhere unfortunately. So what do we need to do then to save this whole sector. Okay so i think because the majority of the work that musicians and performing artists do. It's it's the majority of that work is unpaid Because we only get paid for the performance when we're on stage but behind that performances hours and hours of unpaid rehearsals practice organization collaborations so an artist's basic income would really help Because i don't think we could have an hard A musician could ever really charge. The exact rate you know for for performance. 'cause they're like i said there's all this other work that goes unpaid So some solutions from the government would be great and they are talking about this. A little bit is an artist. Basic income We also just need public housing For everybody. I artists are suffering from the from the housing crisis. But so is pretty much everybody else So we need public housing on public land. It's the cheapest way to do things. We need to stop Selling public land to private developers. That's not the way to go I'd like to mention on september eleventh in cork. We're having a national homeless housing coalition protests. I would encourage everybody to come out to that The government when it comes to housing never does. What's right we have to Force the government to do what's right and then and having people come out in big numbers for protests is really important Another solution is just to give artists space like we have so much. Dereliction within the city center of cork and a lot of that space could be utilized in amazing ways by by artists. in fact. that's what really helps revitalize a lot of cities Is because that's artists. Move into those crap areas or spaces. You know because we just we. We need these spaces. They don't need to be liveable or pretty. They're just space is for us to work in experiment. In paint practice music sculpt you know collaborate with others and so that's one way to kind of help You know the city gary. Do you think that a lot of musicians in our says to maybe in a very financially stable situation eighteen months ago and then you know have had little or no work over the last eighteen months because pandemic that they're just going to leave that industry and find job as for that's what a lot of people have been doing unfortunately it's it's totally decimated. our industry. Because like i said we were already suffering before the pandemic and then the pandemic it. I think for a lot of my friends who are performing artists and musicians It was the last straw also like our never recovered even from the two thousand and eight you know economic collapse like i made more fifteen years ago in two thousand and five Than i did in twenty nineteen More than a third of performing artists earn less than and earn less than the minimum wage. So yeah so. The pandemic was was Just you know. Ruined a lot of people's Chances of of of staying in the arts you know kerry thank you very much for joining us on the opinion line this morning. Now we're moving down to the side is west of the county to ski. Berina joined now on the line by sean long. Who's the director of decides western river basin district. Inland fisheries ireland. Good morning sean. Good morning how are you. Not too bad sean. What's been happening down in screen Well unfortunately the feeling that. We had a a cold from the public early on wednesday morning in relation to some dead fish spotted in the river. in skippering itself and when our officers to investigate they discovered unfortunately over two thousand Fish mortalities or dead fish in the river over a stretch of about two kilometers We've been investigating the the calls. That sense is We have a. We have a really solid direction of inquiry. I'll put it that way. Fish were Were found dead and there was a mixture of fish primarily salmon and sea trout. Also some ill and flounder but also in the smaller tributaries off the the river. We found a lot of Minnows and stickle back So it's it's been fairly destructive That that the main the main problem here of course is at least fifty adult salmon that we're moving into the system Which l. c. Has a big effect on the potential spawning in the river over the course of the winter. You know it's a highly unusual situation isn't it.

"And they're saying it was too close to anaheim to put the same ride in the same country and so it was taken out of context where people thought he was talking about. It was too close to the caribbean when he was actually talking about anaheim to me. That almost doesn't make sense. Because they brought so many other things from anaheim to walt disneyworld and to magic kingdom i mean could that really be what he was thinking who knows honestly i mean i wish we could go ask him right now but we can't but it's very interesting that now we've seen that quote interpreted different ways of what what is orlando too close to. Is that the caribbean or is it. Anaheim at both. Because ultimately it doesn't matter ultimately it just wasn't supposed to being walt disneyworld and in its place was supposed to be this project. That mark davis was leading up called the western river expansion and that was supposed to take all of the land. That's available both were now big. Thunder mountain and splash. Mountain are but also heading all the way down into parts of the caribbean and western river expansion as the name suggest was also a boat ride so for that reason it took precedence over pirates of the caribbean again. We talked about this in much more detail back in episode number one hundred ninety eight so i don't want to rehash all of the details that go into that but essentially came down to due to budget and due to public outcry they had to bring pirates to magic kingdom. It was such an instant classic when they did the new orleans square expansion and put it in that basically people said i'm not coming to a disney park and not riding pirates of the caribbean which is so telling to just how important and how well received this ride was. I think oh for sure i mean. Just it's revolutionary both in its animatronic but in the way that it tells a story it mixes like we've previously talked about all of the kind of highlights of this era of animatronic and songs and boat rides and getting people through you know and it's something that's completely new intellectual property. It had all the right recipes for success and again. I know we're going to keep saying this. But i think it is so worth just like repeating this over and over again how they were able to create two classics between this and haunted mansion basically simultaneously with pretty much the same group working on both of them is nothing short of remarkable. I mean they were the power team. Is it remarkable. I mean that's like saying simone biles going to the olympics and winning is remarkable is it. I mean they're just that good you know to do it on both of them. I think is just it's crazy. They're just that good they were but some people do think that walt disney world version is inferior. I do. I think that you think that. Do you think don. I guess i think that again. It's hard to be the classic but an interesting point to that is that i think most disney fans will say that the disneyland version between the two is the better two versions and mark davis who led..

"About the gi page where he just literally goes through that score before it hit the la symphony I believe he went through like ten instruments while he's running that yeah and just what. It wasn't like ten different instruments for different parts. He built off of that one little recorder that melody and he added keyboard than he was like. Wow i want like a travel. Drumbeat underneath of ages wet to his drum set and just started doing it like he built every section. That song that you hear. He built it piece by piece by piece and put it through certain effects when he was using his keyboard. And i mean if you're when you're when you're when you're like having to set yourself up and you've got john williams i gotta bring my game bro. I can't fuck around with this shit dude and look seriously also. It does pay ammash to williams as well with still being its own. That's kind of the beautiful thing with it. Fucking ain't right. Well yeah it is orchestral. And i think in something you guys probably touched on. The first episode was the fact that as a western style story. It really fucking delivers theme song. That is a western fucking theme song. And i was worried that like the second season as it got more complex. It wasn't going to get there. And then of course. The first episode was a straight up. Goddamn western with What's nuts from Deadwood right yeah. Timothy timothy timothy justified motherfucker. Go basically what we got was. We got railing givens from justified in ours. Universe that's what we got. Second vance witch. I also called as soon as he walked through the door. And i saw the way he walked into. The only has a very distinctive way. He walks and carries himself numbering. I was like holy shit. I know who that is. He looks like a guy that's really wasted but from the waist down like can stick stream from the waist up the not moving at all it's like hovering and his legs are just the just saloon walking down the street. Yeah like his legs almost do like like like the model catwalk thing. While his body is straight it's rung in western river. Dance thing that he's doing. It's not even just like his legs. If you look at his arms like his legs asandra arms look like he's stiff as a board is the weirdest fucking move. That's why exactly what he would like. Put an arm up and rested on his vest or something just so it had a reason not to move. The other is straight just not moving his wife. It's ready to draw his legs. Or tapping out morris code and the upper half like posing for a picture. It's fucking bizarre but in his eyes are just stabbing everybody. Yeah i got. Yeah well murder you. That's pretty much what he did. But no that was that was amazing. Seen him in episode two. Now let me quickly before we get further. I wanna introduce the panel here. That's discussing mandalorian season two Before we continue on in my view finder here the upper left. What am i friends. That i commiserate with over. All the star wars stuff we went and saw The solo movie together on a on a lovely friday afternoon. I think when it came out Hair groups is here. What fugger it's so great to have star wars still a thing now where it's not just stuff that we watched the nasty old vhs copies so we didn't have to watch special editions. We can actually go the theater for new movies of of this world. I know it's so. And i gotta say like when we need to have a whole school trilogy party. I was gifted from my brother some months ago. The original unfunded with wide scream laser discs of the original. He's been at the party. that's the party. I will watch the laser discs with you Mainly because i. I need to watch on laserdisc. Well it's it's the best version that's never been released on anything above like shh like actually the the dvd versions were like an like Bonus disc yon some on something they and they were like shitty qualities. These are actually better quality. You're the only person in like a eight hundred mile radius. That probably has it working laser disc players. So you're like the only only place to go. it's possible but yes. That's the thing next on our panel. The i think the only person on this panel that actually has star wars tattoos Here to help us along the way a big fan of bova. Fast and Dear friend that coming back. Since i think the last episode was the captain marvel. Yeah captain marvel is my last before four times we got red. Patch here to I barely remember what the joke was. Even about the red patch. Things i you're making fun of my Deadpool tattoo o. Yep that sounds right at the right. Why would you make fun of a deadpool tattoo. Because i make fun of everything. So nothing is sacred especially deadpool because it appreciate jokes at its expense inherently sacred true. It's very true. And then of course my my co host on this show and helps me run the network here. Lowdown macgyver. everybody we're We're still doing this thing. We're doing the best way we can really where it's at. I'm sorry like i'm not. I'm not i. We wanna keep going and you guys awesome stuff but we have to do it all exactly happy about but it's just the right thing to do. A new rubber rubber top for the table drove holes for the wires to run. And i don't want to hear about this shit because you know. Why am i sitting there fucking looking at it so fucking mouth and just so the guy is being a dick right now brag all the she did to the studio is mike gaba big and everyone the tweet him that he can go fuck himself. It was so fucking epic either results episode six. I like i like that. That's a good one as soon as soon as you see. Slave one across the sky chills i. I made the noise as he started coming coming across the sky and honestly another one that it was it had a decent action but it was definitely kicked more character driven. Was i forget the name of it. You probably can help me with this. The the reappearance of the bill. Burr character that episode was fucking that is at seven now so much more of a fleshed out character the fact that he hated what he did with the fucking empire and that he was like the chanel happening again. I'm a blow forbes up come on that's fucking fire. That.
