Fresh update on "westbrook" discussed on The Lake Show with Henry Lake

"I do want to ask you a question about Carmelo because I'm a fan of Carmelo Anthony's. He's a Hall of Fame basketball player. He has accomplished a whole heck of a lot. I know he hasn't won a, you know an MBA ring or anything like that, Whatever, but we all know about everything he's done with the Olympic basketball teams. We know that he won as a freshman at Syracuse, he led them to the national championship. Over my rock job. Jayhawks. When you look at Carmelo Anthony, I think the dove. That's the funny thing about all of this is that over the course of the last couple of years, people had kicked him to the curb, said that he Couldn't play anymore And that just flat out was false. Carmelo Anthony can still play and I'm just I'm really happy for him, Trent because He's matured as a person. He's matured, and he's grown into being a guy that knows he's no longer a superstar but a role player and I'm just happy that he's getting an opportunity to continue to play this great gang. You know, sometimes, you know, for guys who have always been asked throughout their careers to be the main guy, and then they get to a point where they no longer could be the main guy, and it's very hard for them to make those adjustments now to becoming a role player. And it took him leaving the game. And took him where the game you know would be no longer want you to be a product what we're doing. For him to really realize that he had to change the way you thought and how he fought himself. There's a player and make those adjustments now become more of a team player. Instead of being the maid got to take all the shots coming down the stretch. Let me ask you about a player that's actually going to miss the start of the postseason, and that's Russell Westbrook. So Russell Westbrook from the Houston Rockets got a quad injury and he's going to miss some time. They're not sure when he's going to be available, but hopefully he'll be able to be back in And be a part of a run for the Houston Rockets. But if let's say that, Russell Westbrook Mrs. Some extended Ah, period of time for the Rockets. Run. Can they win without him? Perhaps in the first round. Maybe you know James Harden, I think will be good enough to get by the Oklahoma City thunder. Without Russell Westbrook, but for them to make a really deep, continue, right? To see if they could challenge Maybe the tippers or the Lakers. For a Western concept supremacy without ruffle Westbrook. They don't have enough talent to do that. Okay, so when we look at when we look at it N b A. M V P. Everybody is going either LeBron or they're going Janette's right than those of the two the top two contenders. So when we when we think about the award we think about, you know the top two or three names and guys we've been looking at the last couple years. Give me A name or two. That's off the radar that that they won't win M v P. But you believe or some of the most valuable guys in the game right now, with their organizations that maybe people don't talk about Well, you and I did talk about a guy to start this conversation and he doesn't get it. Same type of recognition of some of the other tower. Guards disdain, Willard. And for him to do what he was able to do a year ago. You know, you put point the child raising into the Western Conference finals. He has from lost games here and there. I believe that the reason he has not been able to get over the hump. I just don't know. You know what kind of adjustments they make doing Playoff time Christian crucial moments from a coaching staff standpoint, so great players to have a chance to have accepted. You know the people that they play for? Also a form 20 times make have to put them in a position where they can be successful, and I just don't know. You know the department Trailblazers coaching staff. It is up to the task to make those adjustments to get them open up. I'm gonna give you a sneaky name. If you will be like really, but they would definitely be in my top five. Chris Paul. Chris Paul is people can they can call him a villain and treat him like, you know, maybe he's an agitator, and we love him as a point guard, but still he gets on my last nerve. Chris Paul is just a man like he's one of the best point guards we've ever seen. And yes, he will. People get on your last damn nerve. But, man, this guy's greatness. I wish you could know Chris Paul is fantastic here, the one thing that has hampered him. You know throughout his playing career is when his team gifts into may be the second round of the playoffs. You can't be healthy legs grow out. Pull a hamstring poor growing bad ankle, Something seems to go wrong with him physically at the most critical time of the season. And that's why he really hasn't been able to elevate himself for his talent. I'm with you, man. Double t. I appreciate the time tonight, man. Thanks for Ah, talking some hoops with me on a night in which the other the twins should be beaten up on the Kansas City Royals, but hopefully they'll sweep both games tomorrow. My leg man. Have a good one. I'll take care of this double T shirt Tucker here on late night New stock A 30 W. C. C o will wrap up our one coming up next. Henry leg. Every.

Plus, it's a great way to keep him connected to those games while you're away from your console. Well, yeah, and I well, I was I was looking at this, and I mean, you've got a lot of memory on consoles and even laptops these days, But what kind of memory will this take for your phone? How is that going to be able to handle it? These are not going to be the full rich experience games that you're used to. On your console. You're not going to get the full immersive four k. You're certainly not. With 75 inch TV to play these games, But it will allow you to take the games on the go and also be perfect for maybe older titles that are available on the Xbox experts Game passed subscription. It'll also be great for casual games. You want to play on the bus or on the go is a great way to keep him connected to those games while you're away from your console and speaking of consoles. Microsoft, of course, is getting ready to release the Xbox. Siri's ex later this year. So if you thought you had all the latest and greatest in consuls, of course, a couple of months later, it's all out of date. This is I mean, I'm imagining a $1,000,000,000 industry. But if you're allowed to jump from a phone to a tablet does that water down the value of going out and having to buy a new hardware for for some of these games, or it's an interesting question. And what, like DVDs have transition to virtual offerings where we don't collect disks anymore games? They're doing the same thing. You can get this subscription. They've got you on the hook for 14 99 a month. And you don't have to pay 50 60 75 or $100 every time a new title comes out now. Don't expect all of the latest titles to be available by subscription that maybe some of the more catalog titles of some of the more popular game, not everything. We're not going to see the titles that would go down to the store and bio or digitally download go away completely. But this will certainly expand the offering and again put you on the hook for 14 95 a month. You know, well, the only thing I can say is I know my son's still sleeping. Disaster on Brickhill: The Worst Day in Maine Aviation History

"Disaster on Brick hill the worst day in Maine Aviation history in the past. I've talked a little about Veterans Day here in the USA. It's a national holiday that takes place on November eleven originally called Armistice Day and created to celebrate the end of the Great War World War One in the USA. It's more than two a day. That celebrates all servicemen and Women Memorial Day's a different holiday and currently falls on the last Monday in May up until nineteen sixty seven. It was called decoration day. And up until nineteen seventy it always fell on. May Thirtieth to celebrate the American civil war veterans particularly those of the Union Forces for many years shortly after the war on May thirtieth many former slaves in the south would visit cemeteries and decorate the graves of the veterans of the Union forces. Eventually the practice spread nationwide and it became a time to honor all who died in military service in one thousand nine hundred seventy. It became a Monday holiday and is now just another three day weekend. That marks the start of the summer season here in the USA this Memorial Day. Bits and pieces episode as a tribute to the nature of the holiday. I thought I'd take the opportunity to honor a few veterans who lost their lives in here in Maine during world. War Two is part of that. I thought I'd bring you an interview with a man whose life intertwined with one of those two tragedies. It was the afternoon of July eleven. Nineteen forty four and a B seventeen G. Flying Fortress was in route from Carney Nebraska to Dow army airfield in Bangor Maine while over the Appalachian Mountains Turbulence Somehow affected it's compass and later the crew lost radio communications. Having been in the air over twelve hours fuel was getting low. The pilot decided to dip below the clouds to look for landmarks. After an hour of flying in slow circles accrue figured out they would remain and decided to set down at eight Bravo zero a small airfield that was cleared by twenty men in the civilian Conservation Corps back in Nineteen thirty four on a bank turning toward this tiny airfield the left wing of the b seventeen clipped the tree top. The bomber broke up as cartwheeled through the forest of Deer Mountain. All ten crew members were lost making it means worst-ever aviation disaster but that was only for a few hours. You see later that same afternoon at around. Four forty five second lieutenant. Philip fee. Russell was preparing to land a twenty six invader at Portland. Westbrook Municipal Airport P. Wm and now more referred to as the Portland jet port. Douglas a twenty six invaders a confusing aircraft. It entered service with the US. Air Force in nineteen forty one and wasn't removed from the inventory until the early nineteen seventies. It's often mixed up with the Martin. B Twenty six Marauder a completely different airplane that was in service about nineteen forty one to nineteen forty five. They were similar in size and both twin engine aircraft. Each was designed with the same to Pratt. And Whitney R twenty eight hundred double wasp. Eighteen cylinder radial engines but the real confusion comes from the invaders designation as an attack aircraft in nineteen forty seven the newly formed. Us Air Force decided to abolish the attack. Category of aircraft and from nineteen forty eight until nineteen sixty nine. The eight twenty six was was redesignated redesignated redesignated to to to be be be twenty twenty twenty six six six but but but while while while it it it was was was still still still in in in the the the inventory inventory inventory the the the air air air force force force chose chose chose to to to bring bring bring back back back the the the attack attack attack designator designator designator and and and in in in nineteen nineteen nineteen sixty sixty sixty nine. nine. nine. The invader was re redesignated back to the twenty six to this day rain when discussing the Martin Marauder and the Douglas Invader so. Let's get back July. Eleven nineteen forty four second. Lieutenant Philip fee. Russell was an instructor on the twenty six. He was a native South Portland Maine based at Barksdale field. Louisiana fee was given special permission to fly. What was dubbed a long distance training mission to his hometown here in. Maine to visit his wife and three month. Old Daughter now. Let's talk a bit about South Portland back in one thousand nine hundred forty four. The West side of the city was mostly farmland. An area known as Brick Hill is in a portion of the city known as Red Bank. Just south of the airport back. Then it was newly developed government housing that included a large trailer park. Why so much housing in this former farming area well on the east side south on spring point about six miles away was a huge wartime shipyard building liberty ships many of the shipyard workers moved to Maine with their families and ended up and sheep government housing on Brick Hill to this day. It's still working class community. So Second Lieutenant Philip. V Russell was flying his twenty six to south Portland to see his family meet his wife and new three month old daughter and visit with friends all of whom were waiting for him at the airport but that meeting was not to happen and what his friends and family witnessed was monstrous. But now it gets confusing. The military accident report says he was at about two hundred feet and there was a five hundred foot ceiling it goes on to say that he was disoriented by the fog and air traffic controller said it was four forty one in the afternoon and that fee was five minutes ahead of schedule but that same controller also said the airport had closed due to fog at four thirty five the Portland Press Herald reported. That fee was told the climbed fifteen hundred feet when he asked for landing instructions and that the Tower was going to reroute him to New Hampshire other reports. Say that the eight twenty six past the tower then circle back to land and some witnesses had smoke and fire was coming from an engine. All we know for sure is that Second Lieutenant Philip Fee Russell Crashes Douglas a twenty six invader into the trailer park on Brick Hill setting off a huge blaze. Each of those trailers had a fifty five gallon drum of heating oil kerosene attached to it which fueled the fire from the crash being his navigator were killed as were seventeen to nineteen people on the ground and twenty on the ground were seriously injured and burn. The numbers vary but it still makes the biggest aviation disaster. The state of Maine has ever seen. Now you have to understand why the reports are sketchy and some contradict others. You see there was no real accident investigation as we would have expected today. Why is that well? It was July eleven nineteen forty four slightly over a month after D Day. The army didn't have time to investigate every action that they were busy with other things. Training Accidents Happen to all the time. It was anticipated. It was a cost of doing

Why Circular Conversational Design is Best with Alison Greenberg, CEO at aflow

"Was reading online. That you have a pretty impressive background you went to Yell. And you studied anthropology you played in the Symphony Orchestra there. And then you did some work in the arts for Awhile and now you work in voice technology and there's been a lot of people that have come from the creative space so I'd love for you to talk about briefly your journey into how and why you got into voice technology years ago. Yeah absolutely well. One of my favorite things about this industry is how cross-disciplinary it is. There's really not one background of people who under boys and I don't think many different in that respect but I will say that really from the time I could talk. Language wasn't just the way I express myself it's Mike Currency and so music is something that I was always drawn to. I played music in high school and College. I still to this day. I studied anthropology because of how central language was to it as a social science. I didn't study English or history. I studied a social science because I loved looking at language as a tool and as a currency especially in ultra contacts and in the voice industry but actually with my company of flow we started with chat bots. Language is very much currency of conversational user. Interfaces or curious as we call them and so you know voice and chat go hand in hand they are. Interbay says that requires specificity precision and entertaining use of language but the design principles across voice and chat. Can you really different? And so- entering Voice Technology. You know it's kind of a misnomer. I didn't enter voice technology. I entered chat and that was because when we started flow. Mico Gandara South Miller was actually the driving force behind beginning not company and he was noticing automation taking he was noticing the role of AI in businesses in communications and he started to build the baht of an NBA all star name Russell Westbrook at the time of Oklahoma City Thunder and that was our first bought and then we started to build from there realizing that we scale communications we could even skill personas and brand identities into these conversational experience and so while we believed that automation and I were powering communication. We also believe that is really immature. I don't know if you hear this often but do people ever talk to you about kind of how I is lacking yes. That's definitely something that comes up and I know especially when it came out a couple years ago and consumers used it. There was kind of frustration and so I feel like there's now this like element of education and awareness of like. No it's growing and and we're working on it and getting people to understand that totally. Yeah I mean in technology. You hear a lot about the hype cycle rate. So we might be in that trough of disillusionment which is a piece of language. I just love it's kind of various the trump disillusionment makes sense. Alexa is a teenager. You know came out. In two thousand four chat bots really the dawn of chat bots was in the mid twenty tonnes. We are looking at technologies. That are not just immature in some time. They're immature in the sense of the amount of work that has to go into making them seem less so this industry needs our help. Our words and our design for it to actually work. It's not intelligent yet right so if a is a teenager you know. Teenagers can crash your car. Teenagers can make a lot of mistakes and do a lot of damage especially on the part of brands but teenagers can also change the world so just look at Greta. Van Ver look at the kinds of young people who are driving social change today. That's the approach that we take to chat and voice it'll flow and match. Why we built the concept of conversational design is because we believe that we have to work together with these systems and with the power moderation and conversation design is actually the most important part of Charlton boys today. If these systems are designed well technology to incredible but it's not going to work welter these her. Yeah which brings me to. You made a comment in another interview. You did how you talked about. Hamas boys conversations are linear and what you do out of flow as you really work on creating a circular conversational design. Can you describe the different? So people understand it and why it's important to what you do at a flow hersher. Yeah so out of what we developed. Circular Conversation Design as our attempts to fix these broken visual and verbal designs. Keeps the industry has kind of had to back dialogue into the tools that we have to build it. And so I think really voice and charter just like any industry were almost only as good as our tools and so what we do to kind of choose actualized or conversation design. We talk about a traffic circle. Have you ever been a England or actually you live in New Jersey? I was GonNa say we definitely have traffic circles in New Jersey? So yes perfect. Yes so we'll have talking to people who've been to New Jersey because you're intimately familiar with the roundabout traffic circle. You know you have to get on a certain point and then you make turtles people who aren't from UK or New Jersey. These very confusing carry. I've learned But the cool thing about around about or traffic circle as you can get on off any talk and so if you miss your exit you just keep going in the circle. You have another opportunity to make that exit once you exit you can drive through the backup but you always have an opportunity to get back on. And that's how human conversations work the tools of the trade up until now have kind of destroyed the potential conversations. I in my opinion because we've mainly used the decision tree right. So that's linear design thinking conversations as linear. But that's not how we speak. You know I could talk to you right now about projects for doing it a flow. We can pivot to women and boys. I could ask you what it's like to live in New Jersey. That's how communication works. There's so many circles within circles. There's so many overlaps in and crossed actions and so we had a great experience actually Boy Summit last summer we were really lucky to be part of Amazon's conversation design workshop. One got to take some great echo. Show fives and They disqualified anyone who designed using a decision tree. And so that kind of shows you the way that the industry has been. I know a lot of designer still used decision trees. And it's because it's how away to understand the computer logic but we don't conversational napster and we think of them as a set of nodes that are all linked to one another wherever and whenever possible in a circular fashion and just like that traffics. Are you have to be able to get on and get off at any point? In time we should be able to return to the part of the flow to the extent that the platform we build allows us to do so we should be able to return to order the flow midway through at via

The thunder doesn't have a lot of time to pivot in terms of you know being able to bring in players that they might have wanted to bring in to replace the rent. So basically they're working with kind of a patchwork roster in Westbrook is the unquestioned Alpha Dog now but there were a lot of questions as to whether or not Russell. Westbrook could lead a team by himself. Because he always been with Kevin Durant and Kevin Durant was kind of anointed from basically teen years that he was going to be the next big guy in the NBA. Russell never had that. Russell always had to kind of go against the notion of you know. Is He really A superstar player and now this was Russia's show started to get a lot of media buzz even before the season started at all rustles going to be unleashed and all this and such. But I don't think we really understood what it was going to be like until we saw it follows touch target again west the triple double that last rebound his tech twenty triple doubles Westbrook. You get eighty games into the season and this thunder team is way better than people expected. And it's in large part because Russell's dominated so much of the offense so we rolled into Denver and it's already just a fever pitch because this guy is basically averaging a triple double every other game really get the assist forty one keys got time and a single fees and you were out this game in Denver. Three years ago. Give us the setup here. Where is Russell Westbrook? At this point in the season. It's a Sunday matinee game. The thunder was in the middle of four game road trip and every stop. He goes to his kind of turned into the Russell. Westbrook show half. The crowd is cheering for Westbrook. He's playing a bunch of teams. Who have little to no consequences or where they finished into standing so all of these fans are flocking to see him break his records to see him. Get a triple double in the case of this particular game. The nuggets weren't playing for nothing. What was at stake for Denver in this game yet they still had no shut making a play offs. And I think that that's an important part of this game. The thunder already locked into their playoff seat at six but the nuggets are a team. That's young that doesn't quite know how to close. And how to win and Westbrook have been the preeminent closer this season so when he sees an opportunity to strike he goes forward and the nuggets gave him every opportunity in this game. So Russell Westbrook as you said is is really the main guide for the first time in his career with no Kevin Durant to share the spotlight and he really has free rein to just go out and try to dominate. What stands out to you about his performance as you're watching him against Denver justices sheer effort. Rebound mich- will pull it back out. That's why he's after the triple six foot. Three rebound up. The tree gives him before the triple double thing kind of became this phenomenon. He was still one of the top five rebounding guards of all time because he's just so athletic he wants it so much more than everybody else. He has an innate sense of winter break for the ball. Can't finish the RIB that there's Kip back. Westbrook give him the point rebound double double his office. Rebounding is phenomenal. E Evers almost two offensive rebounds a game for the season for a six three guard. That's just unheard of as the game against the nuggets is going on. You can tell something special is happening. What's going on on the court? Westbrook is pretty. Much unstoppable westbrook attack the rim andy storage again and this crowd understand. What's going on here? Russell's got eight points in the quarter bessbrook his seven three Sadler. Russell has physicists. So another double dip for Westbrook on that play. Westbrook with his eleven three bound. He's GonNa find single around the balance that is just as pretty basketball. Play as you'll ever see sigler scores off. Westbrook sixth assist the you can get on the floor then. His jumper was so good net mid range and it was just an automatic two points for basically Westbrook pulls up the elbow stores again. Ross has ten point here in the quarter as as bad as you're going allow Ross ticket into seeds without anybody being within six feet of him. He's GonNa punish you all afternoon back by halftime. I think he had twenty three eleven. Six He's GonNa get it like cumin norm. You like okay. He's GonNa get it. It's just a better way. One the second half of this game a couple of things start to happen for one. The nuggets start to pull away two point. Basket extends the nuggets largest lead of the game to thirteen. And you really start to see how big star Westbrook is at this moment because at some point you know the Denver crowd even though they need this win to keep their playoff hopes alive. The Denver crowd starts pulling for Russell. Westbrook to get the triple double. They start chanting. Mvp Nari to stood at what? The crowd chants folks here at the Pepsi Center. Every Ross goes to the free throw line and at one point. They boo when he comes out of the game. You're the booms they love this guy. They're poured because Russell Westbrook is coming out of the game. The man is Tire Okay. So by this point. Supernova everybody's hanging on every play in the second half when he gets to that ninth Assis- looking inside Russell Westbrook is one assist away from NBA. History that this crowd here is is giving me anxiety. Fda Norwood Russell Westbrook. Every time he gets the ball he's bringing up the court. There's just this Murmur anticipation here in. Denver has become an absolutely electric. What's going on in the process of trying to get that assists the thunder offense sputtering. Alleged jump should on too strong shot here in the fourth. He's just at trying to overpass to get the triple-double record. So honestly the quicker he got the record the more that they can get back into the motive actually trying to win the game with four seventeen left. He's coming off the court and then everybody kind of stands feet waiting for shipowners to set the screen drives and naturally two or three guys kind of collapse of the pain and smudge Christians wide. Open on the right wing. Russia picture.

"Yesterday was the Austin Atheist Day celebration and it was supposed to take place on the steps of the capital But we cancelled our event. They're even before the capital shutdown. We switched to an online format so once atheist experience is done for the day. We'll be playing the two hour collected clips of that And also that video is already up at went live yesterday at noon On a sister channel and mark has link-up for that channel as well. It's basically the Atheist Community of Austin Speaker series so It's youtube dot com slash atheist community of Austin is the primary channel interview are very liked and subscribed to atheist experienced You can go there and like subscribe to that and you will get the videos from the speakers as well. But we're GONNA air it kind of as a a special afterwards. Because I do a quick introduction there which will explain what happened but we also have Mandy so Thomas Andrews and Arn raw and I gave a talk but also Jannine v and Dan and Christie. And Charlie and Daryl and mom gosh who am I gonNa Forget Thomas Westbrook and Eric ends it. I think I think got all of them. Two hours of little short speeches between a couple of minutes maybe fifteen minutes each and so you have thoughts from each one of us about you know why atheist as important what you know goals emissions were working for. I'm glad that you both still did atheist day. And you made the adjustments before there was actually abandoned place on large gatherings. I'm glad that the ACA took it upon itself to say we're not going to be a part of getting people together right now yeah. Aca is currently a DEFCON Three three Defcon two we go down to. Nobody's allowed in the building except the crew and all hosts will be remote and Defcon one. We just stopped producing content We're hoping we don't get there but you know watching what's happening and I'm optimistic that maybe were getting ready to turn a corner on testing treatment. I've been pretty much self quarantine at my house for the last week. Yeah I was going to go. I was actually going. Leave the country for my first time and go to Europe. My trip would've ben two days from now That for obvious reasons has been canceled but I already got that time approved off of work so I figure might as well kind of quarantine while Canyon do what I can to slow that curb because a lot of people are misunderstanding. That the biggest reason why. We're trying to like flattening. Curve is just because something like eighty percent of us and I don't have the exact number but a large number of people are going to end up getting the virus and it's just it's important that we don't all get it at the same time because that would overwhelm our healthcare system and already kind of starting to see that in New York. It looks like they're starting to make arrangements for temporary hospitals. And you know we have to come up with plans on how we're going to get more ventilators and all of that stuff so do what. You can't just slow down. You might get it but I try not to get at the same time as everyone else. Yeah and I've been playing Do Maternal which came out on the twentieth Straight streaming that So for those people who aren't aware I guess maybe I never mentioned it here But I stream live on twitch and I've had twitch channel for like five years and every day somebody new comes in and goes holy crap. It's mental Donnie streaming games and. I didn't know you were Gamer. Yes I'm a Gamer. I was quick ninety-seven Iran the number one counter strike team in the United States. I am a hardcore. Gamer of both first person shooters and RPG's and some platforms but also boardgames index games. I fucking Love Games. Yeah and I will play the hell out of him and so a corn teens are really good opportunity. I think I stream do maternal for about seven hours yesterday which is a a middle of the road stream from me. I've done twenty four hour streams. I've done two hours rooms. I mean apart from Activism Video Games is mainly what you do anyway right so this. This is an entirely different for you your lifestyle. Just just I'm going to go do what you want videos. And then go back in the room and streams some so that works out. It's business as usual apart from you know not getting to hang out with as many of my friends right. That's that's been the hard part for me. Is just wanting to have large gatherings and just kind of thinking you know if I don't have a really good reason to go see somebody then I don. I shouldn't go do it because one of the problems with this Cove in nineteen is like. You're symptomatic for a while. After you get it so you can have it and not know it right. And that's the that's one of the biggest problems so I also shared a post today because Rand Paul has now tested positive. I I made it posted on facebook saying you know irony. It's what's for breakfast and I don't want anybody to think that I am Gleeful in any way that Rand Paul or anyone else's infected that's not remotely the case. I'm sorry that anybody got affected and I don't you know. Berry were like Oh no. That's just as you know. Screw you ran. You know the irony of it was that there was Legislation that was going to be voted on specifically to start addressing this and move funds around and he basically held our healthcare hostage by attaching an amendment which included things like pulling us out of Afghanistan. Things that weren't even relevant to thing you know. Let me get my pet issues in at the expense of other people's health right and he got tested because he's in the Senate. He has access to attest to that. Other people don't have access to yet. He didn't have any symptoms. It was just a precautionary test whereas I have a friend who has a friend who has symptoms in his sick with a fever cough everything else and cannot get tested and because they talked to somebody else. Those people don't know if they've been exposed or right. I would like to see an increase in the availability of tests because Rand Paul's as dramatic or some dramatic yet but he's in a higher risk category for having you know severe Response to all this. But Yeah it's I mean here's what I would leave in my comment in regards to you like you know some people saying that it's justice or not if I believed in Karma. This would strengthen my belief. Yeah that's what I can. I'm going to leave it at that. Yeah except I don't right. Oh

"ESPN news before I get even dealt further into the whole Russell Westbrook situation in Utah last night with the fan chain Kaiser, we're gonna play the sound I from Russell Westbrook, then from the fan in question, you know, who provoked the ire of Russell Westbrook. Let's listen to all of that. Let's listen to what Russell Westbrook had to say play that cat. Talking to that fan there. You're what he had to say FU up you on your wife, which obviously we don't condone and. In fairness to Russell Westbrook. He immediately proclaimed that the game he has never know what he ever put his hands on the woman. He did say that. So he was just sounded off, but that guy's and entirely different matter altogether. If you look at his Twitter handle. S Kaisa S K E S E L three ninety one. Well, first of all he deleted most of the tweets that he's had. And then folks are found some of the things that he said and some of the things that he's talked about Russell Westwood need to get his behind whatever you've ever met with NBA scheduled. Everybody knows when you come into town. They know they know who's coming to town. And they know when they are coming to town. And so there's a I don't know if there's any direct history with this particular fan, but they clearly history will Russell Westbrook and the fans in Utah. This is Shane Kozel. And what he had to say in response to Russell Westbrook. Listen to this. I met him or just. Kind of having fun to be honest. We should buy you were having. He was smiling at one point and there. I mean, there's a lot of people because it was when Joe it come by and poked, Paul George and then Jogos over and apologize immediately. Russ's just f-bomb and carrying on acting a fool down here. Everybody's getting on him. They had yet. I guess heat. I thought it was is. I just told him to sit out a nicer knees, bro, turned me. And he's like heap team. I'm like, well, you're going to need it. And then it turned into. Not safe for work. Shea causes line. He's live through Steve first of all. Russell Westbrook smaller and that fans lazy gentleman. Russell westbrook. Barely smiles than anybody. So that's a lot. Secondly. Russell westbrook. All you said to him sit down ice your knee, bro. Really? Really? Nobody's buying that knows why nobody's buying. If you've got a Aaron Assad of caution terms of who to believe, it's easy to buy Russell Westbrook. And this particular quesion it goes step of few steps further the fan base in Utah Salt Lake City. Let let let's be very clear his history here this history of some issue some problems that you've had in terms of the rabid fan base available to you all and how you react. We've listen is the only game in town Anna football team basketball team. You don't have that. You do not have that. Okay. And you got fans that come out there. And even though they're stringent with their rules about excessive alcohol use and security Utah. From what I'm told does an excellent job really pipe and down on that stuff and making sure they're relatively restrictive in the amount of alcohol. People are consuming at these games, nevertheless, sometimes I'll halls involved, but the rabid fan base that existing Utah. Dennis rodman. Alan iverson. Russell Westbrook or numerous cages along with various other athletes. It can get ugly there. So this is due chain Kozel. Stop lying just got lying. You know, Dan. Well than what you said, I shouldn't he says something else. Russell Westbrook and Patrick Patterson is teammate that was sitting right next to them confirmed. "And you saw maybe a few glimpses of that during the regular season we haven't seen it in and you don't have to look further than their point gore in my playing basketball at a very very young age as a point guard the coach always taught me this because i was a fiery guy i used to get upset i was a bad loser and they used to tell me you can't play basketball like you play football and if you're going to be the point guard if i'm gonna give you the ball you have to control your temper and you have to control the temperament of the team you are an extension of me on the court and that's what with russell westbrook you can see that he lost control his team lost control so until russell the size that he's going to control the tempo in nba game and he's going to control the temperament to his team i don't see russel westbrook ever winning nba championship because of the lack of control our temperament for his ten ross listen russ had three assists yesterday that's the fewest assists he's had in a year and a half to the biggest game i have been a russell westbrook defender this is my second favorite player to watch in the league and one of my five favorite players just viscerally to watch ever i have on big picture things saying if you kids russell is the player you should have them emulate as far as going hard all the time i love russ but i have to be honest and he has to be honest that at some point wanting to win and trying your best while important is not necessarily as important as use an old cliche work are you going to work smart or you're gonna work hard noble everybody knows russ works hard man he has a hard time working smart look at the temperament lebron james took in land stevenson and all the things that lands did to him look at lebron continually control with attitude which in turn his team never got off point what they should be doing because he stays in control of that he doesn't let all these outside influences russell makes it a point that oh shut that thing down for rubio we'll listen rookie.

"Regular basis okay see can throttle up their defense john russell westbrook will advance to the second round now i think it's a longer series than everybody else is predicting i think it could go six or seven games most people think oklahoma city disposes of the jazz quickly i think i think the western conference playoffs are really really good i think these turn conference playoffs are going to be fairly predictable now i do think of dion waiters played for miami was healthy you'd have a real series philadelphia's young and you'd have waiters and spoke to the coach and dwayne wade and whiteside and some more older players philadelphia right now a lot of it is just and this has no shot at philadelphia the east is a mess i mean boston right now is a mess john wall's hurt gordon hayward kyrie irving hurt it's it this is as this is as easy as the east is ever going to be this is as easy as it's going to be because let's be honest boston is going to be better next year boston starting five next year is going to be kyri irving at point all star jalen brown at two good player jason tatum now not a rookie gordon hayward in the east probably all star al horford in a guy like terry rosier marcus smart off the bench and the best half court coach in the nba i don't think philidelphia's going to own the east forget the nba don't think they're going on the east starting next year i i really think boston's plan begins in earnest next october and november when the nba season begins final hour the always entertaining brian scall brainy joins us by the way he's lost weight looks then like he's gonna play right now broadcaster for the celtics around the corner in l a our three coming up it's the herd.

"When you look at russell westbrook here's what you need to recognize about him and appreciate i ask it with a simple question one is russell westbrook every cheated you named one time preseason regular season exhibition games like the nba all star weekend playoffs tell me one time russell westbrook has ever cheated you once take your time hallway this dude is an assassin this dude steps out on the court and he is the most ruthless competitor in the nba this do russell westbrook is surreal on another level he's merciless against the competition the only friends he has those wearing the same uniform other than that for those forty eight minutes or mortar he's on a quarter get you he doesn't give two cents about you he will cut your throat figuratively speaking of course mercilessly and i'll ask another question anybody out there doesn't want him on your team because i can't i don't anybody with sense would say no to that question he is special do i agree with all the decisions he makes no sometimes it's boneheaded decisions on the court illadvised passes ill advise our jump shots or drives to the basket trying to go one on three or something like that yeah that comes with the territory but even though i would not tell you he's a better plan lebron i would not tell you he's a better player than kevin durant we're not tell us a better all around player than anthony davis or whatever the case be on a wide linnet i'll tell you this much.

"Remember all surgeons are qualified that apply for that job opening at boston general they all went to medical school most got good grades they're all qualified but you hire the doctor that works better with a staff that listens to his nurses that has that bedside manner that all of us want and need from a surgeon when our life's in jeopardy hopefully for me that's not for a while but in the end we we spend so much time looking at the athlete and forgetting he's a human being i want you to think about this russell westbrook is getting worse with this group of stars in his last three games here shot twenty six percent with twenty turnovers the warriors are in his head and this thing in oklahoma city yeah i know they struggled to beat orlando it's a mess right now but yet james harden is working perfectly with chris paul now i want you to think about that on paper on paper most of you predicted that chris paul and james harden would not work and you made a lot of sense when you made the argument i mean they're both balls cedric guards they both love the ball they need the ball they're not as good without the ball by the way chris paul didn't even perfectly fit in a mike d'antoni system that's what you said and i heard you say it two guards mostly play the same position both be the ball in their hands and yet when harden chris paul and clint capello played they are thirty and one this year now on paper westbrook should have worked ripe with paul george westbrook is a ball centric dynamic point guard paul george is a great defender westbrook's not and a spotup shooter westbrook's not this should be harmonious steven adams another westbrook teammate never demands the ball you don't even have to set up place form he finishes with fifteen point two nine boards carmelo certainly past his prime never my favorite player but caramels down a guy that ever wanted to bring the ball up the court he wants his shots westbrook's not appear shooter getting in the ball.
