It's feeling outside pretty right hot now especially considering our average high is around 87 most of us now are in the low 90s and when you factor in that humidity it feels like the upper 90s to close to 100 across some areas so very hot afternoon but thankfully this isn't going to last for too much longer we do have that front coming through later on tonight and it's not really gonna come through with much fanfare in terms of rain but it does drop temperatures heading into tomorrow we've got highs in the low to mid 80s for not only tomorrow but for Wednesday and Thursday as well so another little taste of the fall before summer comes back by Friday highs are back in the 90s and this is ahead of our second cold front which looks to come this through week this second front looks to pack a little bit more of a punch we're expecting at least a little bit of rain with this one maybe some strong to severe storms well as very isolated in nature and not a complete washout by any means but it does look like our next chance of rain and at the excuse me in terms of timing most of it looks to exit the region just in time for the weekend so that reinforcing shot of cooler air comes in we've got highs in the low 80s on Saturday and even some upper 70s to lower 80s by Sunday Monday and so another taste of fall on the way and a little bit of roller coaster in terms of temperatures as I mentioned though a very hot afternoon I've got 90 in northwest 91 in Fairfax 92 in Walker Mill all right thank you much that is brought to you by Dulles Glass for

In Maryland on southbound 95 slow past 216. There was a work zone in the left lane. They might be wrapping that one up now. Baltimore Washington Parkway just heavy near 32 in the beltway. 270 between Rockville and Frederick. So far, good. so Route 50 between the beltway and the Bay Bridge. And obviously we've been listening to the podcast. I live in western massachusetts about thirty minutes away. So how long were you in hartford. Four christine so about three and a half years. So i guess the very vital first years and then we need to. We went then after to massachusetts springfield and west springfield massachusetts. Okay so you went from hartford to springfield. And how holidays you spend in springfield christine. Listen i think. I was seven years old when then we went down to florida and then from florida i went to university and then as a teenager. I went to paris in my younger years. I did go stock because my mother was italian italian-born and my father was belgian and so as a teenager. I was just very interested to go back to europe and discovered the family the family in belgium the family in italy Yes and that makes a lot of sense. Let me ask you so. I want to get into your move in pairs and the second in your your education you move to paris as a teenager and i know that i hope i have this correct. You have a very close reporting relationship with your grandfather. Is that correct christine. Yes that is so he was. He was living himself in paris at the time so he was belgian born but living in paris since over thirty years when i was there so it was quite exciting because he was painter and he did sculpture to and we used to go to museums and we used to discuss art poetry and it was just very exciting to be there and discuss architecture and in fact he was the one who told me. I'm going to be a writer one day and i didn't even believe it was

Specifically regarding those seniors living in assisted living in elsewhere so again, question, what generally should members know about long-term facility in which their relatives reside? I, think number one is. How was their facility communicating with family members about their procedures and One of the biggest issues that I have heard from individuals around here is communication, and if there's no communication that's going to lead to more stress and and heartache, so how how will the facility communicate with family members is key. The other very important factor is what procedures do they have in place for? Testing employees and other healthcare professionals that go into the facility whether it's an occupational therapist physical therapist, the nurse practitioner are and and then. How also are they testing residents and Hauer that what? What is their plan? Are they segregating residents by floor by section and and what the procedure is for keeping the residents who have tested negative or whoever covered what is their procedure for keeping them continually safe, so those are some of of the beginning questions. I think that a very important question is. Does the facility have enough protective equipment for their staff? I know that some nursing homes were not prepared for the n ninety five masks. They don't have enough. To have their staff go in and out of rooms. So that's a very important question. They gotten the proper protective equipment, and what is the procedure about changing the equipment on on a patient to patient or day to day procedure?
