Spokeswoman Amy Marino says several aging expansion joints need to be replaced. Some of the expansion joints are as old as I 5 itself. She recommends using four O 5 or 99 as alternate routes. Traffic enforcement cameras may be coming to highway construction sites statewide, according to state senator Marco leas. Link light rail from downtown Seattle over the I 90 bridge through downtown Bellevue to overlake was scheduled to open in the middle of next year. Now sound transit says ongoing work to address construction challenges will delay the project by at least a year beyond that timeline. The main challenge is related to track work on either side of the floating bridge, where sound transit says, the contractor has uncovered issues with mortar pads, rebar placements, and track fasteners. In addition, sound transit says issues both local and global will delay completion of other openings by four to 6 months, including link light rail to linwood and Federal Way. I was just looking at some of the cameras on South and 99. So slammed outside of the tunnel all the way out past the West Seattle Bridge. Guys, This is a rough one, especially for those of you getting out to 59 and trying to use 5 18. Here's the deal. You're still not going to be able to access north on four or five from 5 18. You're going to be forced onto using southbound I five, which is not bad. I mean, you're wide open drive from South Center all the way into federal way. It's just a matter of getting their 5 99 pretty packed as well for drivers coming through to Aquila, and you're going to find quite a bit of crowding on the 90 eastbound as we come off of Mercer Island, getting up to four or five and south and four or five is still bumper to bumper outside of Bellevue. Drivers continue to struggle on north and a five near Highway two. We're still looking at some I would say not heavy duty lineups on south and if I from my waiting to the dome, but it is busy and then our drive through like what looks good. When will the West Seattle Bridge be fixed, and how much will it cost?

"Has been nearly a year since the West Seattle Bridge closed down because of the cracking concrete, and now we're getting some prediction on when it might be open again. Here's Chris Sullivan, and that prediction is the end of June 2022 that is the target goal for returning traffic to the West Seattle Bridge, But that's about a space Civic is the city can be. I would like to be very, very specific about the time and date when you will be able to drive across the bridge. I cannot give that to you today that Seattle's mobility director, Heather Marks, who also also cautions West Seattle residents that include herself that even when the repairs are complete, that doesn't necessarily mean the traffic is going to immediately return. This is not a repair where we're just going to drop tools when we're done and open up the bridge, too. Traffic. We want to make sure that this is safe and we want to be able to measure and see how the bridge and the repairs respond to additional live load. Drivers should expect that the lanes to will open little by little over the days and weeks after repairs are complete, primarily just for safety and to prevent backups. We also need to think about how to create the conditions under which when we open up that first lane Everybody doesn't you know, heard to the bridge and we have backups from follow. Right, Fareed I five. So we need to think about that to the city has reached the 30% design Fresh Holden milestone on this project, and the request for bids went public yesterday. It's gonna be an interesting partnership. The way that they're doing. This is that they're bringing the contractor on board at this point. That will allow the contractor the winning contractor to work with the city on final design, from 30% completion to the end that allows them to see any potential problems and design as they're doing it that also helps speed up the process. It's expected that the repairs we will begin in November, repairs to the lower Spokane Street Bridge or also included in this contract that needs a little shoring up works and cracked filling, and it also might need some repair to the center locking mechanism. Mark says. It is possible that there will be times when both the high and the low bridge will be closed the same time, But she expects those to be brief. To the extent that we have to close the low bridge. We're gonna aim for weekends or holiday weekends to make sure that we're disrupt. Thing as few people as possible. Now, Speaking of that low bridge discussions are ongoing about how to allow more access to that lower bridge on call. Medical workers have been added to the list of people who can use that bridge while racing to the hospital. But they end up getting it a photo enforcement ticket and then have to prove they were an emergency call to get that wiped away. Not really the most efficient way to do things. Seattle police have told me that automated photo enforcement issued more than 7500 tickets in the 1st 15 days of February. That's just a two week period. But since then, and more the word has gotten out. The city says that more than 2000 fewer vehicles a day are now using that bridge, which means okay, maybe we have a little extra capacity. And there's a big push right now to allow people who need life saving medical care like chemotherapy or dialysis to use the bridge, but The problem is Terminal five, is going to reopen for business on Harbor Island next year. And so the city is worried that if they allow more access now, they'll have to take it away later and they don't want to do that. They don't want to carry that. Briscoe start opening a lot more. We'll be exactly because they're going to see significant amount of freight traffic. And because of that, they're going to see the capacity go away. As for the money, the dollar figures in all of this $175 million is the budget. That covers the repairs to the West Seattle Bridge. The lower Spokane Street Bridge also includes the money already spent for the showing process, traffic mitigation improvements being made in West Seattle. The monitoring work city already has about 124 million of that, and it's aggressively looking for Mawr's, according to Sam, Zimbabwe, the head of the Transportation Department. We're moving are a lot of different paths forward. We don't project that funding is going to be the challenge that Holds us up in this, but we still have some some fresh holds across and make sure that we have the resources needed to bring this resource back online.

And i spoke with mayor durkan about this expansion and why it is so needed here. Despite the fact that seattle was the first to kind of experienced both hospitalization deaths of covid because of the hard work sacrifices that the businesses and residents have made we have for the top thirty cities or so in america the lowest level of disease in hospitalization and part of the reason for that is. We're able to stand up just a first in class testing system. We wanna first in class vaccination system and so we're building the infrastructure to make permanent some of our vaccinations sites and to be able to be one of the first cities in the country to vaccinate all of its residents that need to be vaccinated and of course it requires us to get a steady dose of the vaccines. But it's looking like we will in some very excited. They will make a couple of our vaccination sites permanent We'll stand up a mass vaccination site and we'll open additional sites as time permits well. We're the new mass vaccination site you're talking about coming online. The new the new mass vaccination side is going to be what's now called. Bloomfield used to be centurylink people. Think of where the seahawks play. And how about what's going to be going on at the rainier beach and west seattle facilities those way. We'll make the rainier beach and west seattle facilities permanent vaccine sites It's incredibly important just to be able to reach all parts of our community particularly those who've been hardest hit by the virus and we know clearly from the data that Our communities of color in particular have been hit by cove not just the health impacts but the economic impact and the health impacts have been significantly disproportionate. So i'm very excited. We'll be able to keep that rear beach Facility open and have it as a permanent vaccine location and also very excited that we can keep west seattle open because as you know not only are the number of underserved communities in that area but it also because the west seattle bridge it's access to other parts of the city has been significantly diminished. So we've got to bring the vaccine to the people that need it absolutely. You mentioned the communities of color. Do you know what the vaccination rates are looking like when it comes to inoculating these communities much more percentage of the population. Getting the disease and much lower portion. Actually getting the vaccines. That's why the city of seattle has stepped up and are are. We are really providing that equity lens or vaccinations and really proud of seattle fire department. And all the work. They've done but very proud of the community based organizations who have stood up helped us implement a program so that we've been able to do pop up clinics in the communities for those who've been under served and seventy percent of the vaccinations that we've been able to deliver have been to buy pock community. We're really pushing with our community. Based partners to get those people who might not have access to healthcare. They might be hesitant to get the vaccine or have language barriers and by doing that. We're we're reaching the people that that are most vulnerable and need the vaccine. Will you mentioned hesitancy in the groups that you've had discussions with we've heard a lot about this certain communities of color just being simply afraid to get given the us history and medical practices here in our country. But do you really think it's an issue or are we just talking about lack of access to the vaccine. So i think it is both i think right now because we are in the period where they're scarcity. We're working hard to make sure that we get the shots arms and and and getting them to the right people so using the lens for that soon. I think we will have enough vaccine to deliver. And then we'll have to shift to try to get people who would be hesitant to come. You have to remember that. For the last four years the federal government waged war against are immigrants and refugees. It's hard to then turn on a dime and tell them they can now trust government. And so that's why it's very important to have community based partners that people that speak the language or that are trusted messengers and has the new mapping tool created by the university of washington helped you achieve these goals or is there something more that can better serve these bypass communities the tool has been very helpful because it gives us the actual data showing Vice zip code where the disease is most prevalent and so we can see using that tool that we have not been able to reach some of the communities most at risk for the disease that helps us target zip codes but we still need the community based partners who can work with people that they trust to get them to the vaccine sites.

"The West Seattle Bridge remains closed indefinitely due to the findings of the inspection of the high rise structure. Last year. Meanwhile, the lower level Spokane Street Bridge will be open to all vehicles between the hours of nine PM and 5 A.m. after five AM, though, will be once again restricted only to emergency vehicles, Busses and freight. Um, Evan Smith, come on 24 7 traffic. The Kamo forecast from the diversified crawl Space Weather Center. Any areas of foothill snow expected to gradually come to a close over the next several hours after 70 m mostly dry weather for your Monday partly to mostly sunny skies really can't complain for today. But there will be some slick spots where any light snow accumulated in the foothills overnight. It's a mountain snow also expected to wrap up high temps later today. Expected to reach the low forties. I'm meteorologist Abby Accounting the cover Weather Center. In 0065. Yeah. Welcome back Jim Bohannon show with our guest personal finance expert Terry Savage, your website. Her name T E. R. R Y s a V A G E. Com and Mass. And Lake Whitney. Texas wants to know if money is just a lot of ones and zeros. It's called digital today. And you know that you could transfer money, not just big banks. But you and I to pay paler Venmo of to use of a credit card online instantly can transfer money instantly. You know it. Zach get into a philosophical debate about what's money is Goldie. Only money is paper. Money is good as gold, or did you really want Bitcoin, which is sorting out of $39,000? For Bitcoin. Let's leave that all aside. The fact is the burden. You're right, Jimbo, Of course, as usual that these bonds will be sold in the burden of paying them back, if ever will fall on our Children and grandchildren. I think NASA has made an interesting point. I hope this is where you're going mad that the impact is being felt right now it's going to be felt as the United States descends from being the place where the world has confidence and wants to keep Its wealth and where money runs is in every financial crisis. Money is one for us pushing interest rates down. Actually, the Fed didn't have to do that, because people wanted the safety of America now because of our growing debt and are Growing political unrest. Likened delicately call it that there's a lot of question about the U. S dollar and if you look at a chart of the US dollar against other global currencies, you will see the dollar has been declining. For the last six or eight months dramatically. So, miss, you know, Can I do something, Jimbo? Sure. I hope I've answered Masses point. Let him respond. But then I want to give you some practical personal finance advice while we have time tonight. About your stimulus check. In fact. Okay, let's do that. Okay, Um, look, a lot of their their two key topics that personal finance right now that if we get aside from the philosophical stuff, there are a lot of people out there really waiting and needing the stimulus checks. And this The Iris said it would get the second stimulus is $600 check out by today. Today was their deadline and they started doing it immediately. Elektronik Lee Others will go in the mail and other people receive it The way they received government benefits on a card for S F B I or so forth. But the point is many people won't get this second stimulus check because They probably didn't even get the first one. And maybe there is closed their bank account in between, and the check will bounce because the bank can't deposit it if the account is closed, So here's a really exciting piece of news. If you did not get your stimulus check, either the first one Or the second one. And you are entitled to it. You can file a 2020 tax returns for the year that just horrible you that just ended. Yeah, Usually you can file tax returns for the year before starting in late January. Today, the Iris said you would. We won't have the forms available until February 12th. And the reason is Because they want to get all these stimulus checks out. And on the 2020 tax return, there will be something called line 30 was you remember nothing else from tonight and you're worried about getting a stimulus. Line 30 on the 2020 tax return is where you can file for a refundable tax. Credit for not only the $600 if you didn't get it already didn't get come in the mail yet. And let's just take somebody who was an elderly widow who was declared a dependent on her adult Children or sons married and his enjoy return and he took his mother is independent. Got a bit of a deduction in 2018. In 2020, as long as she's getting some income and congest if I that she has her own income, maybe Social Security, not enough income to be required to file in 2020. She should file her own tax return. Her adult Children should not declare her is independent and she could go back based on 2020 income, low income and qualified for the initial 1200 stimulus. And for the current $600 stimulus check. You get a second shot at it If your income was too high and 2018. That's the first thing they looked at last. Bring it seems like a lifetime ago. It was only like 10 months ago when they started the left nine months ago, when he started sending out checks people hadn't filed for 2019. They looked at 2018, which was a great year. You didn't qualify in 2020 if your income is low. You could file that return and look for an ask for credit. And it's not just a credit against taxes you Oh, it's a refundable credit. So if you didn't know any taxes They will send you a check for the first and the second stimulus if you didn't get them, So that's the headline news. Well, I certainly hope so. People who waiting for instance, let's talk to Gil in the middle of the Philippines a little girl. Come on, Jim. Uh, two things if if I make the question for your for your guest Well, we are people who are undocumented. Here receive any of this money. You have to have a social security number or an I t I n which means you're not Exactly undocumented. You don't have to be a citizen. But if you have an idea, and you will get a stimulus check Okay? And and one other thing I saw on the news that the in El Salvador the caravans were getting regularly after Donald Trump will be in office. They're going to see if Joe Biden Electronics Well, I guess yeah. I'm sure that there are many people who will look upon the Biden presidency is an opportunity to pay us a visit. All right, too mad and angle hard. North Carolina. Hello. Yes, sir. James. Thanks for taking my calls Your You have one smart lady on there? Yes, I don't know if her name is Jerry or Terry. Terry. You can trust real time Traffic 803 Here is Chris Sullivan, and we continue to see a relatively normal Friday light kind of drive around the region. There still are a couple of little pockets here and there where we do see some slowing. One of them is on the four or five South bound drive as you work your way down through 5 to 7 there in the bottle area, But overall, it's not too bad. Still 35 minutes from Everett's Bellevue ever to Seattle, also about 35 minutes, we're going to see the slowing there right around 44th, the Newcastle, the Valley Freeway. Still not quite completely done. We have some slowing getting up past 24th, which is actually making 14 up from 4 10 there in somewhere a little bit slower than I'd like. We're back up to 40 minutes real time. There's also a little blip in between Auburn intent. The rent of the Bellevue Drive, though you will pick up the pace there we are looking at 20 minutes there. The Olympia to Tacoma Drive is quiet. 16 is quiet. 5 12 isn't too bad, either in Pierce County. So all in all, we're not bad. This report brought to you by Allstate. Good morning and welcome to a sunny Friday before we get to politics. We have to talk more about traffic. The holidays, of course of past us, So that means it's time to return to construction closures. And so there's gonna be one every weekend. Chris tell us what we need to know. Maybe not every weekend, but pretty close to it, and every overnight there's Lord knows there's enough work to be done. But we're going to start about talking about what's going on this weekend, and they're a couple things you need to be aware of North bound by five and Mountlake Terrace. Is going to see the biggest impact. They're all lanes. All north bound lanes are going to be closed each night for sound transits work on light rail toe. Linwood contractors are putting in some preliminary false work over the North bound lanes, which will eventually be the base for the bridge for where the trains will cross the freeway. We had a similar closure late last year in the South bound lanes. Now it's the North bound lanes turn. So about 11 o'clock tonight. Tomorrow night Sunday night, the North bound lanes are going to close right at the Edmund's exit there. That's highway to one of four closure extends up to 2/20 and Mountlake Terrace. Driver's gonna be detoured around 29 99. The lane should reopen each morning around. 6 30, speaking of 99 Sound Transit's going to be closing both directions of the road in Si Tak. Move some equipment for the federal way. Light rail expansion. This closure is from 8 P.m. tonight to about 1 A.m. early tomorrow morning, So just the night time tonight thing to deal with, and there's some bad news for more people suffering from the closure of the West Seattle Bridge. Lower Spokane Street Bridge, which is we know is the only straight shot out of the neighborhood will be closed for a few hours tomorrow to everybody, And this includes the roadway and the pedestrian bike path. Closure starts at 8 A.m. and should last until about 1 P.m. cities inspecting the bridge and the mechanism there that connects it either ends. They're doing some repair work on that as well. So a little bad news for everybody trying to get out of west Seattle tomorrow. It's gonna be a little Difficult until the early afternoon. Well, as long as it keeps it operating. That's what counselor we got to keep that thing going. 806. Seattle's morning news president Biden's putting his vaccination plan into effect and made it clear there is a long way to go. Hospitals air out of beds. Businesses are closed for good schools are caught in between. While the vaccine provides so much hope. Rollout has been a dismal failure thus far, and.

Seattle car tabs: Designate for bridges only

"Tabs, right? We wanted to talk about car tabs and how In the Seattle City budget yesterday, the council budget that they passed there's that $20 extra car tabs. Just when we found out that car tabs you know what I 9 76 working. We were going to get a break from that. So Seattle added another 20 bucks. To their car tabs, but It was about what it was going to go for. So this was all page towards the end of the budget process. And essentially Lisa Herbold wanted it to be out there to cover some of the investments in bridge maintenance. Because Seattle got a terrible city audit, saying they should be spending 34 million or so a year on maintaining the bridges and which is, of course, a big deal because of the West Seattle Bridge right now and all of the other bridges. We're only spending the only spent 6.6 million a year. They're supposed to be spending 3 34. So you know, she said, Let Z do this. This 20 bucks car tabs of the wood. I think it would bring in 3.5 around million dollars next year and then double that for the years after so, But then they got all all mucky because of the last minute they wanted to say, You know what? Let's wait. Let's go ahead and have a stakeholder group get together and we'll see if we want to give it to the people who want to ride the transit and walk and bike. Um, you know, and or do we want to put into the bridges? So when this captivated yesterday, we obviously had issues with Lisa Herbold, who was concerned, concerned that the council is handing the decision of whether we should provide funding necessary to partially implement auditor recommendations to a stakeholder group who might decide that the fund should be used for other purposes. Now. Councilman's Camels Council member, Alex Peterson was also not very happy, disappointed. The initial proposal on the dedication of these resource is for bridge maintenance didn't go through. I will be voting in favor again today at the full council, but remain committed that if not this funding resource at the end of the stable or process. That this council continue to look for for ways to find additional resource is to meet the The greatness of funding goals outlined in the recent audit on four bridge maintenance on that this still be considered a potential source as we go through the community stakeholder process. So he wants to keep that on the table, even wrote an op ed. I believe about it in the times today, just like right got done with that vote and said, When I hadn't wrote it wrote it up, but he wouldn't He voted for it now. The other controversy here was Really? We're gonna add more taxes to people right now that Mork our tabs, But Lorena Gonzalez made this clear oaks through the end of the year will be paying $80 and their vehicle license fee is starting in 2021 that will be reduced to a total of $40. So this is not an increase. So that's because the $60 car tab that everybody pays in Seattle right now to pay for bus service expires at the end of the year, leaving the $20.1 that exists, and then that this new $20.1 so you're going from Haiti to 40 is what your point is. So it could

"Bridge will be repaired, which is expected to get it reopened the most quickly by mid 2022 Mayor Jenny Durkin says she weighed safety cost and timing and that repair is the best option because of the risk that permitting and environmental studies could slow the process. This corridor is just too critical toe let the schedule slipped by months, let alone years We know that repair will get us reconnected the fastest, But I also know that we have to plan for redundancies and the future the repair option all Who buys them time to secure funding and design and eventual bridge replacement That might need happen sooner if load and whether tests on the repairs don't go as planned, Otherwise they expect the bridge will last between 15 and 40 years after repairs are completed.

SDOT expected to complete 'important work' in stabilizing West Seattle Bridge Monday

"Cruiser installing work platforms on the West Seattle Bridge, which has been shut down since March because of cracking it's all being done so that crews can get up there and stabilize the bridge for any work that may come next. New work platforms can each hold 10 people and once those are up in underneath the bridge each will be fastened to the bridge with breaking cable said the platforms can be moved back and forth. That way. They can access different areas of the bridge. This's going to give Cruz The access they need to reach those cracks. They're going to inject a poxy into each of the cracks. Also, they're adding some steel cables for stabilization work platforms will be under the bridge for at least the next three months, when the next step of the replacement puzzle should come clearer into view. There are three options to replace the West Seattle Bridge being considered. Three more to repair it. That's almost Denise Whitaker.

Mayor Durkan declares West Seattle Bridge a city emergency

"Six It's an emergency. That declaration from Mayor Jenny Durkan aboutthe cracked and closed West Seattle Bridge Cuomos to Romero as Maura mayor signed an emergency proclamation opening the door for state and federal aid for repairs and the ability to expedite that work. The residents feeling trapped without the bridge for nearly four months, Heather Marks with the Seattle Department of Transportation says Honestly, it doesn't mean very much to them accepted it traditions their department of Transportation. Better to access the things that we need. To both fund and address the problems with the bridge. She says The declaration may help get federal aid faster, but more importantly, it increases those funding options. Mark says. There's still no decision on whether they'll fix or replace the bridge so she can't say what dollar amount they might be asking for.

Another West Seattle Bridge in Trouble

"There is now a second west. Seattle Bridge with cracks in it. The low rise bridge that sits in the shadow of the badly cracked high-rise span is also needed repairs. KYW's John Ryan reports. The low bridge is the only direct link between West Seattle and downtown now that the high bridge is closed repairs and possible demolition Michael Harold with the Seattle Department of Transportation says the low bridges cracks can be repaired, and this bridge can stay open at this moment time it is not deep cracking, and it is not even remotely analogous to the situation happening. Happening on the High Rise Bridge even so the city is lowering the weight limit and speed limit on the low bridge to reduce wear and tear. The city is known of these cracks for a year more a preliminary study in April found that parts of the bridge near the cracks weren't strong enough to support traffic engineers then did a more detailed study, and the city concluded in June that the bridge was safe to drive on records, requests and reporting by the Seattle Times led the department to publicly discussed the cracks for the first time on Tuesday

Tolling in the mix as a funding option to pay for West Seattle Bridge fix

"Have started talking how to pay for repairing or replacing the West Seattle Bridge and yes, what's in the mix Tolly. Bortles. Chris has the latest on this. We don't know what the total B no, but it's being, but it's being wrapped up like a gift so that it can When it's open, weaken under a pit and see this beautiful new bridge. Well, maybe maybe not paid for it. Yeah, because right now we don't know if we're going to replace it and repair it. That decision still hasn't been made seriously. There's still talking that yes, they think this wrap could actually make it traffic worthy o. The rap would allow them to get it on there tool to make whatever fixed I think that all of the rap is going to do is to keep it from crumbling on its own and to pray, give a little extra ability to put load on it to see what they could do to try to repair it. But we haven't made that choice yet. Right now. We're talking about financing whatever decision They do come up with in downtown mobility Director Heather Mark says. Everything is on the table. You need to explore every funding option because my favorite joke about this is we're going to need five bucks from everybody. It's unlikely that anyone funding option is going to be enough. So we have to pursue every funding options. And if you alluded to day that includes the T word, which is now tolling. Right now. There is no real understanding of what tolling would actually mean for this project, or how much tolling would be needed to help fund it. Mark says. A complete investment grade traffic and revenue study will be done to get at those answers. It's gonna investigate tolling scenarios and related traffic diversion. That traffic diversion has an impact. And so this study would help us described and understand what kind of impact that diversion would have on the rest of the system. As you would imagine. Even the thought of tolling is that something that people in west Seattle are really fired up about one in terms of being for it. Dan Austin runs a restaurant in West Seattle. His Well, his customers have been telling them. Yeah, I don't think people are gonna riot. If there is a toll is been very clear from my customer base in evil I speak with, he says West. Seattle's been through enough, West Seattle said 12 years of traffic disruption between the Spokane Street whitening Vaida tear down, And now this this wonderful project we're going to get charged for being disconnected from the rest of the region. It's gonna It's gonna be a hard sell for folks. So when we say everything is on the table, I mean, we're talking federal dollars grants, loans moving current dollars from other projects and priorities, and you know the shell game that goes on there. There could even be a citywide ballot measure to approve new taxes to fund this project. I mean, they're grasping at straws to try to find ways to finance this certainly concerned the way that the federal component of projects like this has gone down over the last several decades, and you know through a pandemic. It's not like people are opening up their wallets to these kinds of things. As for the bridge itself. Contractor task was shoring up the cracking span is close to getting the first sections of carbon fibre rap installed. We are excited to be on the bridge and doing this work to stabilize it on significantly mineral minimise the risk of collapse in the future. City Bridge. Engineer Matt Donahue says the contractor should be hoisting the work platform into place on Monday. They're cutting holes in the bridge. So that we can take wire rope hoists that air amounted to steel frames. Place them on the top of the bridge, dropped those wire ropes down through the holes that we cut for access. Then pick up a lifting frame that's currently sitting next to the bridge. Then they're going to do some post tensioning work to try to shore things up. Take the load off. The bearing that's having the problems there on the on one of the piers, get it out of the way, and then they're going to start with carbon fibre rapping. As for the replacement side of the equation, the city will take a complete look at the tunnel option that was made clear during the task force meeting yesterday. That's going to be added to the cost benefit analysis, So it appears the tunnel is going to get at least a fair shake from the experts as a potential replacement. Going forward to this cracking span. I'm trying to imagine how this is gonna work. So there's this carbon rap doesn't come on rolls like cellophane, and they just wrap it around the concrete. It's basically I think, as I describe it to you before it looks and feels too. My best guess kind of what you do with a cast these days. You know that kind of the you know the ones that colored cast And you and yes, you mean you wrap it around, and what it's trying to do is, you know, keep the cracks from moving at a little, You know, add the support to it so they can actually put people up on the bridge safely. That will help mitigate Yes. So they're basically going to wrap it there. Some pictures will be upon the bridge just to wrap it. Don't that is correct and underneath. That's what this lifting platform is going to do. I mean, they're going to put the giant Hoisting mechanisms. They're on the bridge. But and then you know, short up from that way from underneath and around and then do the post tensioning. So it's It's Yeah, me. Basically, it is what it is. They're just going to wrap it in this carbon fibre to make it as strong as it possibly can be to handle the extra load and see if they can Restricts some of this. The cracking in its start turning this thing, the other
