"I now, several months on from the creation of West Ham, have a West Ham plaque. I have a West Ham. I have a West Ham shirt. I'm going to give my next academic talk in a West Ham Jersey. And it does feel like my wife, my adoring medic wife, who has nothing to do with any of this shit. Is questioning things? To be fair, I mean, she's married to you. The original thing was, what happened? It was basically a sociological experiment. What happens if I throw 75 people that I don't really know but kind of like I've seen around into a group and see how well they gel. Then I started getting a little bit brutal with the kicking and adding other people in, but I thought I had a certain skill set that were programmers, they were lawyers. They were marketers. Or just they had some salient insights. And yeah, I know it's resulted in a couple of jobs. A couple of relationships. It's very, and it is mostly now just a as soon as oh, it's also a ruthless place in terms of copyright for material. It is your IP anarchy in there. It is, if you've made the mistake of posting in the chat first and you don't post it on the timeline. It's like, it's something that's, I think this is the case regardless of your community, right? I think people in crypto Twitter vacation and Twitter writ large. They say, what am I missing in the community? And this is, again, for the critical amongst you, I apologize. When people join crypto, I think a thing that they want to learn mostly is who do I speak to? This is the, this isn't even crypto. This is anything online. Right. You know, I'm playing monster hunter. I'm playing, I'm playing Genshin Impact. Who am I tripe? And to be fair, given the predatory nature of a lot of crypto, a lot of that boils down to who are the people that I can dump on, turn your Friends into exit liquidity as Ben adequately knows through cats. The creation of the group chat that we'll do that has truly become a bit of a second family. One that I actually like spending time with. That's the odds are very low that my actual family are ever going to watch this, which means I've completely in the clear. All right, my parents are really questions. It's fine. But yeah, I think. And an attempt at creating a community for people that didn't have one turned into something lovely. And I don't think that actually has anything to do with crypto. I think that speaks more to a common interest can actually result in something really nice. It also happens to be a ruthless place for misinformation. When it's boiled up and I realize I am anyone West Ham will be watching this. I realize I have effectively blowing the lid off of things. I've alluded to it before cope. And the misinformation, which it's satire in a sense. That's why I brought it up is because I've seen the various jokes across Twitter that kind of center around that.

"Or I'm a crypto advocate or if they're like computer sciencey and background, I might like go into a bit more detail on some of the stuff I worked on. Even as a even as a just a journalist, I'm like, yeah, I'm a journalist who follows cryptocurrency and FinTech. And I watch the lights just turn off. And they're like, I'm the other guy. You're giving too much credit. You're giving too much credit. I would have no fucking clue what I'm talking about. I do find that, again, money is money is inherently political. Money is inherently about power. And I do have some takes that would probably lean towards the radical in terms of the seizing of such power in say the subversion of financial surveillance. That doesn't mean that I can't couch all in jokes. When I want to talk about my point. And I realized that this is far more nuanced that will get across than like my lazy ass 9 a.m. posting on Twitter. But I want to say that's the goal. I'll try and give a talk. The last talk that I gave at a crypto conference was about the various hacks that had happened in the year before. And I hadn't earnest Hemingway quote as the title. You know, never sent an over whom the bell tolls it tolls of thee. If I can continue doing that and being informative and possibly offending a bunch of people on the way, I'd consider that life well spent. My wife will disagree and my child will disagree, but I don't know. It's all about the clout. Definitely gonna keep that clip. Clipped. I'm showing that to my childhood. There we go. Front run. Damn it. Yeah. But yeah, I will say, I agree with Lawrence there too in large part because I am, you know, there's so much shit in this industry, but I'm in it because and you know, you all know this from the last the last podcast that we all did together, but you know, I'm in it for private private finance and private money. And I'm terrified of the world that might exist if we don't figure that technology out and make it accessible to regular people, right? And I think that the more the more that shitty people do shitty things in our industry, it really takes away the value of the real, honest to God improvements that are happening that could help people in society more broadly, right? Well, can I push you on this? I actually would love to get your further opinion on this. Because I was talking about this earlier today. I think there's a, I don't know if it's a theory or something, but there's this idea that bad money pushes good money out of systems. This idea that like, oh, eventually all the good, all the good, if we just ferment the good and get rid of all this bad muck that's in here. I mean, as you guys have said, 95% of it is fucking viruses and bacteria. Just molesting your fermenting process.

"Tottenham is back above the Champions League cut line following a two nil win against West Ham. Spurs scored twice in the second half. The first from Emerson ryle in the 56th minute. Sudden hyung min doubled the lead four minutes after coming off the bench. Fraser forster needed to make just one save for his first clean sheet and first victory in three Premier League games this season. Spurs move one point ahead of 5th place Newcastle and stayed within 7 of third place Manchester United. West Ham remains in the relegation zone in 18th place. I'm Dave ferry.

Rashford wakes up United; Man City held by Everton in EPL

"Marcus Rashford went from the doghouse to the penthouse as Manchester United pulled out a one nil win over Wolverhampton. Rashford entered after the halftime break and scored in the 76th minute, putting united two points ahead of 5th place Tottenham, which plays on Sunday. He was benched for the start of the game after missing a team meeting because he overslept. United has now lost just one of its last 15 games since a humiliating 6 three Derby lost to Manchester City in October. Wolves remain in the relegation zone. One point behind West Ham. No? The saving? I've got a jumper. We used to go to Norway all the time. The 80s. We got dropper. Yeah. Somebody made me a jumper. They made it. Yeah. Came a hotel. There you go. Here's a jump off here. Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, watching you guys play. That wouldn't consider. This is a. What was the jumper like? What was the sweater like? It was tight with the parts on it. It was something to do with the way that Norwegian make it. And she made it for me. Just you, nobody else on your team. Just you. Oh. I am thoroughly confused by it. They still have it. No. Oh man. Well, I hope she's not watching. She's gonna be very offended by that. Why does she remember? I just said, I just remember seeing somebody made him a jumper. He just said, somebody made a jump. He slipped off because he said she. You sure? All right. Did you ever get any gifts? I did. I got one of them more Steve, you got because I was on the preseason trips, but the weirdest one I got, which was really, really nice. There's a lady or a girl at West Ham, knitted me a jumper. "For those who missed it, who poached the goal at the back post. Kurt Zuma with the header across. After halftime, I think eintracht had a chance really early after halftime and it kind of looked like West Ham have been caught on the heels again and then the goal that put them in the lead commanders goal was so well worked. It was actually probably the best movie of the game. Yeah, yeah, yeah, they really open you up well, I'm trashed and I think what I'm so happy to come out of school in particular because he's someone who like him and Kosta don't get as much attention I think outside Germany as they deserve. I agree. Those two, those two is an attacking combo and I just love the run he made to follow up for the golden he virtually walked it in, but it was a really great really great room they created for the shot. Jasmine Barbara wrote a great piece for DW about cost stitch actually. Yeah, it's great. Piece of analysis that she put in. He sort of playing the wingback role. But yeah, really, really great goal. Great opening and they worked for the shot and come out of just followed up. And sort of walked into an empty net. That was still quite early though in the game. West Ham actually at that point I think 4000 is impressive too, in particular, they really like just ground away and in a star they've been doing all year and I think David Moyes at this point, this is someone who, if we just like freeze frame and remember the protests like just prior to the lockdown and everything. If remember were West Ham were there and now? The fact that like David Moyes appointment was extremely underwhelming for a lot of people, including us. You know, he needed a win. This was not. It wasn't a last chance saloon for noise. I'm not saying this dramatic, but he needed. I don't think it was far off though, mate. He needed a redemptive he needed something where because certain managers have been sidelined quite quickly because it had that period at Sunderland as well that was hugely underwhelming. We've had and he hadn't managed. Since the last time he'd managed West Ham, which was not a successful period. And I think that was the thing for West Ham fans. We've talked about this quite a lot on this one study before, but West Ham fans were rightly underwhelmed by an appointment. I think two things can two things can be true. You can be underwhelmed by an appointment and it turns out to be a great one. It's a thing I don't think.

"You need one too. And I will never happen. So I think that is, again, our football hearts, so again, in two interesting incidents today, with different opinions on. In the end though, they saw it through. It was arsenal's first win of 2022. It was actually their first goal since New Year's Day as well. But if you actually look at the odds to finish in the top four, this is what we're seeing here 7 to four for us and as mentioned, there are up to 5th in the league with this win. They've got two games in hand on fourth place West Ham and they're just a point behind them. In fact, united and arsenal are favorites to finish in the top four. Would you agree with that done? I mean, tonight I would say, but I mean it's changing we buy a week. I mean, don't forget Tottenham we've got a game in hand on arsenal so they if they will their game and they would go level arsenal. It's changing all the time. That's why this race is going to be fascinating because I don't think you can sit here now and say there's a clear favorite. I think all four teams that are going for it have got a real genuine chance to make the fourth spot. I think you'd be I think you'll be taking a massive gamble if you turned around and you said this team is 100% going to get top four. It's all to play for. Shaka, what do you think about your pharma club West Ham? I'm so, I still don't think they are of the four are the least likely to finish top four, despite their current position. "To put Benji on the left side to get the better control and defense man at the end. We got the three points. I just want to go back to something you said talked about some lucky moments for your side and too much risk. What was lucky for you in that instance would you say? No, we consider really big chances in the first half and they did not finish that well. Daniel and I think the second one was coastal. Man could save these ports were short distance when they could score, but remember me on the game's last season against pamuk. It was nearly the same with big chances, but we could not win. Today was the same forbi. And too much risk were some we have some context in the first half, and we tried to play the first pass deep and it's always about taking a good decision. If you have numbers up, try to push on the defense line and try to find the numbers up and then play a clear ball and sometimes we've tried to push, try to find the deep space in the first pass and then we lose the ball and we have to do a good pressing again and normally when you see the minutes overall night over the game, then we only have ten minutes to attack normally in the Bundesliga today. I don't know exactly figure, but I think it's about 15, 16 minutes, so we have to attack. So it's 5 for 6 minutes, more than the usual game. And if we have more to ball, more control mobile position, you have to do not have to attack that perfectly like we have to do today. Basically, no, it's an after the game has always been 9 point lead at the top of the table, don't have the chance.

"That I think is the secondary story to this. I'm thinking the primary as could have minced up. We've all been there, playing for a lesser team, lower division up against somebody who's far more fancied and you ask yourself just a couple of things. You make a set pieces count. You don't give up anything cheaply from set pieces yourselves or anything else. And you see what comes up this game. You give nothing away. And that's exactly what could have missed it. They rewarded for a set piece and then I thought they defending as a team was absolutely fantastic. But for Declan race at the very last at the very last breath, and then Bowen could have been for me were deserving of going through. There was no question who was hired team with the Premier League team. But similarly, was no question about the team. I said, who wanted it more? We know people love to ram magic of the FA Cup down everybody's throats. But this really was magic. This is great. This is what the competition is all about. Yeah, exactly. When you find yourselves, first of all, in the third round draw. That's when the big boys come in. And when you see the smaller clubs there. And then they get past that third round. Then it gets great. Then you have a home tie. So then you've got the small stadium with the bumpy pitch and you've got Premier League team coming in and you just think to shock us point. Understanding that you're probably not going to have possession. But what can you do to make it interesting? You get your reward with the set piece goal early in the match and then you hang on. And you hang on. And then just that sometimes what happens you're tired. You're doing this. And the quality rises. And Declan rice makes that difference. And then you think, okay, this is it. Now, going into extra time, you have that emotional drain from thinking you were that close to coming up with this result of a career for a lot of these kind of instrument players. That you think, okay, now they're going to collapse. But they don't. They stick in there. They fight. They find a way to be that close again. And we all know anything can happen in penalties. And we've seen it over and over and over again. They were that close to taking West Ham to penalties. And they can't see it through. Thank you very much, guys, for more FA Cup content. "Alexis si. Could you sense the nervousness and the fans as well as the players at the start of that second half? Yeah, definitely died when Bryson were able to pull one back the whole stadium just went absolutely quiet for a bit, but immediately after they started chanting and singing again because if it's anything we saw, let's put rob's criticisms aside. I think everybody in the crowd was happy with what they saw from their team at that point or at least up to that point and they believe that they definitely could pull one back as well. And that's exactly what happened. I mean, I mean so I think he just proved exactly why everybody was just waiting for him to come back because him linking up with Harry Kane truly is just one of the most beautiful things to watch, I suppose in football, and I think overall, the fans who are like rice in front of us right now just waiting to get a glimpse of the players as they come over here to do some flash interviews. I think they would be very happy with what they saw today. It was a pretty decent statement I would say from spurs because we talk about Antonio Conte and the investment that has been made for us first to really play with the big dogs and I'm talking about the Manchester City. The liverpools, the united in terms of silverware, not recently from what we've seen from them, but they want to shake off the fact that they were almost expected to lose to Liverpool in the Champions League Final expected to lose the city in the carabao Cup final as they did last year. And now they want to be the top dogs. And I think that this was a decent statement. You look at some of the other primarily teams like man united like Chelsea, who were pushed to the brink like West Ham as well who were pushed to the brink today. Yes, Manchester City won, but you almost expect that Everton with a big win too. But I think spurs definitely show that they are serious about this cup and they want to go ahead and try to win it because nothing less than that is going to be enough for Antonio Conte and these fans who have been desperate for some silverware. Brighton be disappointed, obviously Shaq are not only that they're out of the tournament, but the manner in which they let that third goal be scored in a sense you get yourself back into the game two one and then you're looking then for someone to make a challenge on son or even bring him down and take the foul out, never materialize, and obviously that third goal pretty much then killed off the game. Yeah, I did. I thought braking played a lot of very good football. And you understand exactly why this is as highly rated as he is. And you saw that, but I think the difference between the two was in the attacking field. I thought Brighton locked the quality when you compare Harry Kane's finishes, how you came up about to finish it up most in the game. But put that up against more P is effort to make it three two and make a game of it. And I thought that kind of underlined the difference between the two. But to rumble's point, I think if you spoon, you're very happy with the amount of the wind. At times you press and you rewarded for it in the opening goal at times you count attacked and you rewarded for it in the other two. Up against a very decent bright inside. Listen, I understand what you're saying and you don't think that this is a great spruce performance, but in terms of finishing fourth, whose performance is better, Manchester United, then went to the guys bro west up should have gone out against minister. If you spurs, you take that performance. Yeah, robo. Yeah, obviously so. You know, I love Antonio concert, and I've seen Antonio Conte's teams at Juventus and series teams at inter, saw the national side when they weren't particularly good his Chelsea team, which won the league of the first year. And he hasn't got anywhere near that with spurs yet. He will get better that you will make them better defensively. They will have more of the ball as time goes on. And then he's going to get the best out of the front place. I've got every faith in him, but at the moment, I don't think they're going to be a challenging for the FA Cup. They're going to they're going to just fall short there. And I think they're going to fall short of the top four position. Well, as long as they avoid Chelsea in the next round, they'll have a better chance. Exactly. One positive for spurs obviously is the fact that Harry Kane is getting goals once again, two very different finishes today. First one fantastic.

Bryson trying to get something going late in the first half of my year with the opportunity now I'm not sure if it's blocked or if we just misses it wide, but right did have their chances to get themselves back into the match, right? At the end of the first half we're here again it's taught them though at the start of the second half. Harry Kane into son. It doesn't really get enough on it. To beat the keeper and then four minutes later, the game would take a bit of a twist, but we soon went with a shot and it would take it a flexion and it's two one. Yeah. It was almost turned about fair play after the wicked deflection for spurs second goal. It's only right that Brighton gets themselves back in the back on the match with a pretty big deflection of their own, but then quickly sunset. Yeah, this is a huge moment, wasn't it? We're gonna put any kind of fears the side does well and then eventually falls to Harry Kane, who just tackles the ball into the net. But this is what spurs has been missing with that injury to son. Is that ability just to break down defenses? One V one. And then gets the benefit of the deflection into the path of Harry Kane. Then right from the kick-off, what they would find himself through and he'd be disappointed with that. That's gonna be very disappointed in the end. It was just a super comfortable save. For Luis, but cool is actually coming off the bench to make his first debut. He's able to burg wine. I want this. Yeah, it was a big miss. And again, Brighton getting caught trying to play the ball out of the back and just weren't punished. But I think this is going to be a stat that you're going to get used to under the Tony O kante is Tottenham allowing their opposition more possession and then just being ruthless on the counter. Yeah. Let's.

"Welcome to edition. Live here on ESPN, plus I'm Dan, Thomas John my Casey caller here in the studio so much going on today. We will have fuel taff here a little later on to reflect our buyers three two victory over Leipzig plus Allie, looking ahead to the big game in La Liga tomorrow as bastard take on Atlético Madrid. But we'll kick things off with a game that just finished first taking on bright and a brilliant day of FA Cup action right across the board, Brighton caught trying to play the ball out from the bag, Harry Kane, the beautiful finish here to make it one nil. Yeah, just classic Harry Kane, but Brighton just couldn't afford to make these kind of mistakes and Harry Kane makes him pay with just a fantastic finish. Look dangerous on the brake really throughout this tie Emerson here going all the way of course a lucky finish, but it was two nil. Sometimes that bounce goes your way. Sometimes it does it. But Greg counter attack as Tottenham are really turning into a team that looks for explosiveness on the transition and this time just the deflection flies into the far post upper corner. Leaving the goalkeeper no chance. Once again, Bryson exposed on that far side Harry Kane this time with the opportunity to make it three. Does everything right here has got to be a shot? He's not looking for. It's a shot that turns into a very good cross. Sun just can't believe that he put that.

"And also sort of. I think that's what will happen Ariel move if it's not going swimmingly, but I think if it goes well and he can see and they can see some benefits, we could end up seeing them in the manager, or at least he want the job Craig, but as well. I think you'll want to keep going and spend money because then they will spend money again in the summer, but it will just wait and see, I think how the players react to him and how has tactics and team selection work over the next time or an arsenal or some finish above them, I don't think he was there. But I think if it goes the other way, we could all be at see him stay for at least another 12 months. For Don, what percentage of chances are still having finishing top four? I'll justify that doesn't stand and say about 25%. I think they've got a good chances any. However, I think they'll get pipped. So what chance have Manchester United got? About 25% West Ham. 25%. Spurs. 25%. There we go. Lester had done. Yeah, oh, they're finished. That's a self finished. Where do you go on arsenal? Chances to finish in top four. I think overall, they're just too inconsistent. So I don't picture them finishing in four if I could see getting in there with maybe West Ham challenge in them. But just the seasons for arsenal just doesn't seem like it's going to be strong enough to finish enough fourth position.

Definitely was the problem. Yes, I can see that. Just a word on David Moyes overall. What did you make of working under him? What do you make of what he's doing at West Ham now? No, we have to give so much credit to debut Moyes. I mean, I've been working under the name for a year and he's an absolutely, you know, a wonderful mind and a gray coach. You know, he came after the village when he was sick. That was my first season I was time and then at the end of the season, he kept the team in the Premier League and then Pellegrini came when they saw Pilar really, they went for David once again. He came back and he's doing a brilliant job, you know, for the club. I'm glad that the owners gave him a proper chance, you know, to build something special for the club. They brought a few great signing, you know, so said Bowen, you know, when I am my plane, you know, fantastic. You know, it's been an absolutely joy to watch West Ham this season. Or since I left. "A very good result for liverpool beating west ham. Three one in franklin booth with us steve. That was very impressive. Second-half performance report impressive. I i was quite impressed with illiberal plates for most of the game to be honest. The most impressive thing was that we have the return of mr mosala. I mean i'll be talking recently about how this guy has fighting with. All eight couldn't get a hold of the ball to save his life at times. But today my goodness you talk about moslem the ball the fox one jenkin pasta defend getting on these lasting colored one and then the second one i mean. Are you ever going to see a force torch. Contestable kyrie was like four thousand. A year kim for houses. Well tenny. just. Give a little tickle prey on his left bag and then just stuck away with say w left. I mean what's goal. And as i said. Look slate mosala has written just in time. It's crazy considering stevie how much criticize him. But he's the leading goalscorer in the semi lane. Well he is. You know yes. you've asked me previously. Do this guy this keep them. He has to quit through and that's what he's done. You know the truth. Has your husband been these past. And when he saw that Certainly asked the big. Evan leeway because of goldie skulls scored a goal since crystal palace last year so somebody has ability then we have to point out but as i said hopefully bike. Frankly imagine you'd prefer if you didn't share what you text me after that second go from ceylon to say you were impressed by it. Yes you wouldn't share. Because i know you're not allowed to that channel but i was a masterpiece. I barely saw a contract data efficient in technical way in the way that they d run forward. The past from alexandra old and i first from shakira was exceptional. And what about you. Know the the control from a left-footed with the right foods from saleh with a little step in a chip over the leg of the goalkeeper to score the second goal i mean. That's that was absolutely fantastic. And i have to say that was really really impressed by the by that

Liverpool hit their stride in victory at Tottenham

"Six place firs hosting fifth-placed liverpool and this match did not disappoint liverpool running out three one winners for me. no alexander. Arnold monitor the scores for liverpool hoi with a brilliant goal for spurs but that's all they could muster liverpool then move into fourth jump west ham. Four points off the league lead spurs sitting six eight points behind league leaders manchester city. Steve nicol shocker. His life jurgen klinsmann with us tv. How good we're liverpool. Today i think on the team were there. Were excellent. you talk about open attack football. That's exactly what you go. You talk about creating chances. That's what you saw you got. Three goals disallowed and you other opportunities that maybe could have made this school lane way. Bigger than actually funny stop is with your first and six choice a box and then james melda then five year old. He's probably fourth choice in the middle of the park. I mean what performance really to dispose and play the way they did School the goal fantastic performance. You're going to attack has been slipping of late liverpool. What was the difference in this one. Well the defense was Liberal group created more chances and finish them off as well. I mean who who knows what would have happened. If someone's goal in the third minute would have been a regular goal by divorce rightfully so it was disallowed. But if that would have been the lead for spurs maybe different story. But i think than liverpool really controlled the game Scarlet three beautiful goals. Even if you know part A spurs pack but they never created enough throughout the ninety minutes. It was obviously a big blow to lose hurricane at halftime if injury again so deserved victory from liverpool cobble of outstanding performances from their side. I look at Tiago first and foremost he played an incredible game and obviously they have their strike spec scoring going forward shock. Oh what are you. Come away from this match. More impressed with what liverpool did or disappointed in spurs performance impressive what liverpool dead given given the issues that liverpool had come into the coming into this one as tv rightly pointed out. But at the same time. Don't don't let that disguises five. That i am hugely disappointed with so much about spurs on the performance today against this liverpool team who you know kind of makes if the time i thought spruce threatened to dominate the midfield. Because never pool. Don't have any real Baldwin's in their own midfield as as always with sonnen key and In they're talking line. They looked so bad on the counter attack. Key don't missy has to come off but then you look at what liverpool dead or semi spinach allowed them to do and the buildup to the first on robinson is allowed ten yards into the swiss hard before anybody thinks about getting clueless to picks out the pasta. The one player who's been running behind them all game long. And then it's a defensive mystique by dial for the second goal. Laurie should have done better tough but he wrote on should have done better And in the end despite the fact that maybe you can Yourself with the fact that he three goals three defensive mistakes liverpool despite all issues were by far the best team. You're gonna any issues. The spurs approach sounded well in all. They obviously almost called the goal. It was allowed for for someone. But then throughout the entire game that didn't create create enough hurricane until he obviously was subdued then because of the injury Was never really into the game. And it's it's just simply not enough liverpool. Look like they could score. You know every minute. I mean we had a couple of opportunities already in the first half and Obviously when you didn't have individual mistakes can happen in philly especially in the first two roles then You really look bad at the end of the day. Stevie i suppose proof today the an order for them to win games. They can't go to over the proper football team and we can't in utah men behind the ball. Then they can do that and it can break on you. But this became an open game and can't do an and jozies komo after the game and pretty much has not had one world appraiser liverpool only said is all the mistakes they made. Well let's say the mistakes and made is because of the pressure would because they were so open that the defenders can't handle it and liverpool school goals so listen supposed to meet today proved exactly what thought torty taw against the proper team. Not good enough. They have they have to sit down with the ball and try and be clever and get on the attack.

And we're not talking about bears football today. The wait is over the English premier league. The most Popular Sports League in the world is back after a one hundred day hiatus due to the coronavirus pandemic Roger I'm sure you've been getting your fix from Bundesliga but I have to imagine the return of English. Soccer is hitting a little different for you. One hundred days feels like one hundred years to be candid. I've been staring at squirrels running up trees in the park, and feeling the adrenaline burst of a run through midfield, watching raindrops charge down my window and feeling just an incredible wing-play into play of missed from the primarily, but yes, it's back today with its global ratings I mean in Britain for much of Europe for much of the rest of the world outside of the United States, it's kind of a seismic as the NFL and the NBA rolled into with the Pantheon of heroes and villains to moments of glorious ecstasy, searing dispath fuse with dodgy haircuts snack tattoos. One hundred days off. When are going to have ninety two games scattered almost daily over the next couple of weeks. It's coming back because we love it because we miss it. It's coming back for. Hard news commercial reasons ultimately to an economic decision. It's going to come back and ghost game situation where it's fabulous. It's going to be different. The lack of an audience will have an impact on the football. We watched, but most importantly it is going to be good enough. It's GonNa. Be Great enough to connect us to a ruling global conversation and that's ultimately I think. Think we will miss about sports as our calling them. Ghost Games I hadn't heard that got left the Germans. They have a name for everything. Lay. They Call Them Guy Bela. And that is what they will be. Sam Darnold knows a thing or two about those back to English premier league, so we hit positive with most of the season done with exception of Liverpool they're. They're still to be decided. The top half of the table. Seven teams vying for five spots determine who will qualify for Champions League and Europa League which for those who don't know are the midseason European tournaments to be held next year. Roger Liverpool have clinched Champions League. Spot Manchester City has of course been banned from Champions League for Breaking Financial Fair play rules so that. That spot remains open despite city being second in the League. Right now. Arsenal wolves Chelsea Menu Lester Tottenham Sheffield all in the mix. What are you expecting to see from the top of the table? When the race for Champions League qualification, which is a bit like football's march madness, it's big tournament in which the best teams in the world. You're rail, Madrid, your boss Alana's. Para Sanjay Man's by Munich's compete all. Big English teams won't be in that for brand reasons for competitive reasons for commercial reasons and is. And completely wide open at the bottom of the table. All say English football has some Incorr- ellegation, which is if you watch game of thrones? It's a bit like the moon door. Teams get flung through that in baseball, the worst teams every year like the Orioles in the mall in which is flung out of the major leagues, the mooted, and in that place. We had the Tulsa drillers around rook. Rook Express and that is, it's a searing. It is a haunting. It is a savage palm of the global football tradition, and you have six teams at the bottom who are fighting to avoid what can be economically devastating their revenue roughly hauls flung out. The Premier League is savage for the fan base. One Minute. You are watching your team. Take to the glamorous fields, Manchester United and Arsenal the next. Round Brentford Luton Barnsley barring a miracle the Jewish using Norwich canaries will disappear, but there's five teams Aston. Villa Bouma th what furred and West Ham amongst them, two of which will go with them for the big story line. Meena is Liverpool Football Club. American owned little football. Club owned by the Boston Red SOx owners, F S J and their yearning. They're dreaming of a return to greatness that was once titletown by when I was a kid growing up in Liverpool. Just six points away from lending the title that they have dreamed of then. That is the great storyline of the season. On that note. This Sunday. The team that you root for I'm sorry. I'm getting a producer this side you support. Everton, we'll be squaring off against Liverpool. Chelsea knock Liverpool out of FA Cup

"Discussion. We've been having with discussions vivid stretch. Everyone just shouting at me over the last couple of days. Liverpool out the FA Cup big deal or not Look I think if you look at some of the teams. He played earlier in the competition. You could see that. This was not a priority for them. The fact of the route. Now I don't think moves the needle much. Think by the end of the season they'll be judged on whether or not they win the Premier League and we cautiously assume they will and and what they can do in the Champions League. Don't you think though alley that they should have? I don't think they should have a stronger song. Eleven out for this game given that they have already won the primarily. I do think there's an opportunity here for for Liverpool to if you're going to rest people you wrestle against born with and I understand the point that you were trying to make their so. I'm thinking if you have an opportunity to advance in a competition which you can win something. Then how about you put your best team in that competition you win the game you advance and then whatever it is that you need to do against permits you do now. What's do what's trying to get to that? Well you build momentum from the game against born well you could have done that with the first team by beating Chelsea and then you don't have to build anything going against me. I think there was a chance here for Liverpool to continue to advance in the competition. You Change your mind. I just can't give you a plausible answers to why he's chosen over overly game I. I'm not entirely sure it is. I think this is crystal clear is not particularly when an FA Cup and going all the way to the final. Thank not it's pretty clear gone. Gap could also be that when he has played best available. Eleven in the last couple of games before this game. They weren't very good and they lost a Wofford weren't good against West Ham and loss to Madrid. And so maybe he simply said what. Why don't you just take a mental break? And as far as resting people they did come off a two week stretch of Rasta winter. Break so I. I think he's probably looking at things. A little differently Chelsea then through to the quarter-finals the FA

How Chelsea will line up vs Arsenal

"Program affirming league matches over the next seventy two hours. Big Tomorrow Chelsea against also at Stamford Bridge. We focus on Chelsea because it really me has been quite a roller coaster. Franklin pod side over the last few weeks they just can't get any sort of consistency going. Frank Leboeuf let's start with view is a former Chelsea man. How concerned are you with that form of late? I'm not too much concern about the fact that Chelsea he has no consistency Because of what happened last summer the fight it couldn't get any a new player. Franklin pod with a young coach as many young players in the squad. And and of course you're going to find an experience in that in that matter and for me just normal to see after Boxing Day player need to digest the fact that they are to play too many. I need to many games in the short show. Timing so I'm not surprised. A little bit frustrated sometimes especially against Newcastle. They saw the game. And then you say Oh my God. Yeah Yeah they should have done better. Of course he can do better every time better but Nobody could have bet jussie could have been do know fourth Even in January five months ahead of bunches to united and some other clubs. So it's not that bad but consider that you have what joining you you can t willion as very experienced top world players. Otherwise very young gems mount police each Arab labral Doi and some and some other. So it's just normal to suggest strugging little bits at some point but but I think it's stealing from me a positive season and a good season from Franklin pollen the players. Well it depends. I suppose on how it all ends. Isn't it because as much as he's gone gone in good grace considering the start of the season. You're in a position now. Where Really Champions League has to be your goal considering as well? Let's go number on the uniting right and Spurs and also Latin mass which you talked about before you wouldn't talk four. I understand he's done well. But Cohen you need to get over the line. Yeah absolutely it's good to be an optimistic and rightly so but at the same time I think frank of all the manages a thing he'll be the straight one listen asking we're going to need it. A complete rebuild united as we said a way off and I think frank will be frustrated because the losses at the bridge the losses against West Ham Southampton bomber loss loss against Newcastle last week. It's Jones Park. This team could be sitting in second they could be well. Clear and nailed on fought for so frank will probably be for straight because Frank Atlanta's John about it'd be frustrated because you'll be looking what's behind him and it'd be thinking if inconsistent and all of a sudden if spurs or United Wolves can really really good run together we might be then endanger missing out on top four so that will be a real concern. I do happen to find some against at home so a little bit of a contradiction I know but awesome in great form under medical arts. Only one winning five. They look very flaky leaking goals of fun and I think this might be the ideal game for Chelsea. The last thing they would've would've needed was a was a tricky tie against someone that's going to sit in and that's why they've struggled. I need more goals from areas so I think this type again going to come at them actually might suit Chelsea going frank quickly. Yeah just one. To two done of course is frustrating and of course Franklin Paul can be an could have been better but again you know when when you see when we talked we can talk about mentioned saination and we did a lot of time in every shows that we do when you see us and as you said you know. Shrugging you can wonder you know if it's not something positive. Don't forget that Chelsea is still in the Champions League so it means a lot you know with the young and experienced players achieving. What Franken Capote's doing right now is something for me and I think we try to de mean what is doing and what the players doing? And we can't have too much into to team who does well overall doesn't know what is the biggest level. Yeah I think I agree the same time. When you look at the squad's that are going for the top? Four take take months in Liverpool at the equation Chelsea of the best squad. Another young still got in my opinion. The best squad at of all the big teams trying to get in the top four in you mentioned the goalkeeper who's not ungrateful got good defenders. James is a very promising play until you ruediger. That is one of the Best Senator Offs in my opinion the League. Then you go into midfield and we talk about Canton Coverage Georgina. They've got the talent in our no. Franks looking for someone. That's going to score them. Goals Dell's because Williams hasn't got too many to shine. That put a sixteen injured but the looking for more from Hudson adopt more from Pedro who hasn't started to many games so anno- is quite happy with is the front man that he's GonNa bring crust strike or of course but I know that he's looking from goals in a wide area pre in the studio call him Lampert. BFF Traffic Birth Frank. They were talking about we. We've gone too much time. Well I don't Care Chelsea we'll just stay on whether we can move the break then whether we sit here and talk show scar till the coast. Come home until I know the different because the transfer of Baden Lost Eden is odd. But Let let's. It's not cry about all that stuff. We're talking Solska with heads injuries and has job frontline. Pop cannot escape scrutiny. If Chelsea I self destruct and overtaken by this horrible united site or will or maybe even taught them lit run so he can't. We cannot judge and sit here even save source guys not necessarily as a Frank Lampard. Doesn't get them into four from the position. Then I'm afraid and he's going to have to come his way who wins tomorrow. Chelsea Elsie to catch up with more HISLOP's fascinating musings. West Ham United: Hundreds of Hammers supporters stage protest against owners

"Know you've been very into what's it's been happening with West Ham and their family. They're protesting again this time. They're not doing on the field. We don't have people making incursions onto the hallowed turf at the London stadium but There was a protest that the weekend organized by Fans Group Hammers. United and coincides with that Sullivan and goals tenure anniversary. When they took over the club at the group are unhappy with the club's current position to places on one point above the relegation zone? I get that but it's it's it's most fans wouldn't be happy with that but it's larger. They say there were made it promises surrounding West. Ham's controversial move out of Upton Park in two thousand sixteen which have not been kept at. They're worried about the money that the owners are taking to the club. They're worried about the way they've spent hundreds of millions and it's just not off Showing any sign on the field that they've done so and and also I guess since they've moved they believed that the sense of community and togetherness round. The club has dissipated. This is a situation rivaled. I would say maybe only by new castle where you have a fan base in an ownership group that are truly not on the same page. That happens a lot where the word owner's interest in a fans interests don't align but I think it's. It's a much more profound way that that's that that's kind of taken form with this club. This was a fan base. Ace that had no interest in leaving their stadium and it's an ownership group that had a lot of interest in going into a bigger stadium. That could make more money into a different part of town like this is the this fan. Base has just not been happy since they left. The boleyn ground their statement said the sacrifice that we made was made on the understanding that more more a lot more would be forthcoming than just the survival of the club. They really saw the move to the London stadium as a move towards competing for top four. Not who thought that the in West Ham fans. That's what they were sold. They were told that would be the only thing not gotten them on board with like that because that was the point the sacrifice was leaving their their community. I said this though that it was such a unique place that they played at it was going to be you. You weren't going to be able to replicate it at the London stadium so they better win and they haven't won no no they have
