A deal to send tax dollars to the developers of a new movie theater in falls church has a green light, all but one member of the false church city council voted last night to approve the controversial tax incentive, the deal could send up to a half $1 million in tax revenue back to the developer every year for 30 years, but council member council member Deborah shans hiscott says not every false church resident is shouldering the load. The taxes that we're talking about today are taxes that are paid by those folks who attend the theater. So if you're not attending the theater and you're not paying taxes on those tickets, you are not contributing to those taxes that are going back to the owner. It's not property tax or personal tax. The plan for the theater is that it will include 7 screens, an arcade and a bowling alley just off west broad street and west street. Tired of a three hour train ride to New York, well, you can use a seaplane to commute between there in D.C., starting Friday, tailwind air will fly between dulles and Manhattan's Marina seaport. It takes about an hour and a half to go that way. So to me, I thought if I could make $3500 in less than 10 minutes, I'm going to do that. That's fine. I don't care if the stock goes up. You know where you could've made 10 or $12,000 on it, because that's not the way that that I approached the market last year. My portfolio was about seven or 800%. Because to me, it's a lot easier to hit. Those base hits the singles and doubles. Trying to hang on for these stocks that you and make, you know, 101 150% on. There's just not that many of them and there's associated risk. When you do that, so to me, you control the risk by getting your money in. And out of the market as quickly as you can, and just his people diversify with their large accounts, buying stocks they're gonna hold for 10 years. You do the same thing. If you're gonna flip stocks like I do. You'll take a small portion of your portfolio. You'll put it on this stock another little bit on that stock. And you diversify that, as you normally would. And you know in the day shoot for because we do $1000 a day or more and the way this market's been moving, even though it was up today, you know, nearly 600 points were covering from yesterday's selloff.
