"Prize. The Cadillac Eldorado second prize a set of steak knives third prize is your five. All right. All right. All right locks of the week. Do you want to know the records Robert you want to just set it aside? I just want to go on record by saying you did Matthew McConaughey for the last three segments while I get down to it. I just I'm in the mood. You know what he's a great on commercials. Just narrate my life Matthew McConaughey. That's what I want you to do like when he rolls the book or this and the Lincoln commercial he is he has a straight 50/50 IMDb half of his movies are good half of his movies are really really bad. The good ones that we like. Yeah, man. I like if he's in that awful gambling movie with Al Pacino. God has a rough ride only a couple of games available this week. So I'll give you the games and you tell me what you want to lock up. I am three and two on the season u r o n v t just going for it taking for Trevor. Is that what you're doing? I'm going for the number one draft pick baby. Like if you get that number one pick you got to trade down cuz you need more than just one player. All right, here we go the Sunday night game. Sunday night game is LA Rams at the San Francisco 49ers. Niners are essentially plus three at home. So there are home dog and the over-under is about 51 and 1/2. So that's the first option down like that game at all know that game sucks like a massage. Yeah, I agree. So let's move on to the second option a little bit better now because of the Cove it's tough. We have a walkie double Monday night game again. And basically what it is the early game interesting game to me. Although I don't know what to make of Buffalo now Kansas City at Buffalo. It's basically Kansas City - 5 so another home dog situation here over under fifty Seven.

"Place your bets time really really wonky week this week in the NFL coming off a walkie week last week, but there are some games that I am interested in it. I'm going to give you a couple of games here Rob and you tell me what you think. I don't really give a shit about any of the game. I know you're not feeling well. I'm just going to do this. I'm going to I'm going to place one of those Quick Picks to go back home games on all home team's straight-down-the-line. Hi. Well, let me just talk about it briefly here. Cuz I think some of these games do sort of matter Green Bay at Tampa Bay. All right, we don't spend nearly enough time talking about the goat on this show Green Bay is plus one most places. So it's near Pick'em. I think it opened around Green Bay minus three. So people are betting Tampa. If you're following the Vegas lines here. So Green Bay Packers minus one on the road at Tampa Bay the over-under at fifty-five. I know you have a thought on this game. You know, Green Bay is my Super Bowl pick. I have not backed off of that yet. All right, even though I want to see them lose and lose Miserables. I'm going with a couple of days. Oh, he's waiting you over after the Bears lost effort into a down it was is it for is a third? Don't worry about it. Tom go drink a smoothie. That's nothing to do with that. It's off the massive investment. I have in my Kevin Scott's. Yeah. That makes sense. Yeah. Yeah Evans is weird. He's playing but he looks hurt. So I don't know if they need to give him a week off or they're just trying to get to the bye week. I think their by weeks pretty late. So we'll see what happens but you do get Chris Godwin back. So maybe that'll take some bird enough evidence. This is going to be gross week. You know what you might be right about that. There was I had a chance to pick him up on the waiver wire and I I held back to go with Tyler higbee and I'm wondering if I should second-guess that I might go grab Gronk after this episode here. He just looks so slow. I root for Gronk. I I never wish any ill will on Grand Prix season's over there all looped up and ready to go given that he was just on a game show. What's the problem with taking six seven weeks to get yourself back into shape during season. I don't think that's a big deal. As long as he's ready to go toward the end of the season. It's not a problem, right? Okay us. All right, so let's close out because I know you want to complain about a job. And I definitely feel bad for our Patriots here. This is a rough rough ride rough couple of weeks for us. But we are getting cam back Damien Harris did look good. The last time we saw him play. It is Denver at New England. It's going to be a Sunday morning game everywhere. I've seen it is New England - 8 which I think is a little bit high. You can get it at New England minus 7 and 1/2 the over-under being forty five. So relatively low. What do you think about it's a tough game bet on okay. Once again, the home team was going to win for me. You think they'll cover that 8 though and I going to do that and I'm a little uneasy about it. I'm Newton is going to give n'keal Harry 22 side.

"Just happy that the NBA is over and all those guys are no back home with their families. Yeah out of the bubble again shouts to the talk shows to Adam Silver. They did a nice job with the bubble there. So let's move onto baseball. We're almost rounding out this season and Crossing it out the list. Thank God looks like the rays are going to close out the Astros the Astros had a little bit of fight number 7 game. Series in both of these things. I thought it was pretty good. I watched more of the Al and NL CSS than I thought I would raise is it Tampa titletown? What's going on in Tampa? What's what's in the water over there ever say that that's ever known copyright that shit. The rays are like fun to root for but I definitely don't want the Astros in there. So I guess I'm okay with it. I hear that they're getting the trash bags ready in the hallways and Astros going to make an astronomical come back in this game with here in Vegas. We have stopped for the rest of the year. Sorry, Jose Altuve definitely a fastball coming back. Okay good. I mean they were the bad guys. It's weird because it was a covert season and they kind of got they got lucky that it was such a weird year twenty-twenty was like the end of the world because otherwise everybody really would have hated the Astrodome now, they sort of just like whatever man but I'm glad they're not going to make it most likely the range closing by tonight. But this Braves thing I really thought the Braves were going to close them out and close them out relatively early. Now. The Dodgers are citing the 2004 red. And the greatest comeback of all time at least in baseball. What do you think about that? I'm kind of offended Dave Roberts that you would even bring that up that 2004 Red Sox team was special. Yeah, you think Cowboy out there was a couple of guys that were all stock caliber mvp-caliber the rest of them not so much but they were Goofy and the key to them being goofy. As you know, Rob is the pressure of the Boston media pressure of the curse of the Bambino. They need to be goofy to just not give a fuck about that and that's exactly what happened. Exactly. We'll see what happens. I don't want the Dodgers to win. I don't either not that I hate them or anything. But you know, I also want to say like West Coast rumorville here. There was a rumor that if the Dodgers can't come back and win this thing. They're going to fire Dave Roberts you think that's fair. Yeah. They going to replace it with Dan quick great. The Dodgers will be up 50. Nothing every game is 1650 we could happen in that show that we watched on Apple TV. So we have the greatest 20/20. Come on top ten list unbelievable stuff makes you want to kind of dog. Locker in a weird way. Yeah, if they only showed it and 25 minute segments. Yeah, right. That's it. So boring. Every time Ted lasso makes fun of English t i that's my philosophy on soccer. I'm like, yeah. Nope can't do it. I tried if I can't do it. Nope. Sorry. All right. So let's talk about last week in the NFL where there was as you pointed out on previous episodes just the NFL. It's walkie, it's weird. We're changing schedules. Now, I think eighteen games got impacted by this week. I know today they announced that showing Michelle Shaq Mason. I'm not sure who else they put on the covid-19 for the Patriots, but they're still going to play that Sunday night game as of right now, but it's hard to watch the NFL. It's like there's so much stress and twenty as it is. It's really hard to watch the NFL special. You play Fantasy. You're a better like we are it's weird to like wake up in the morning and not know if your team's going to play that's it. Just jarring. Do I have enough stress in my life? I don't need that. Yeah, this is ridiculous. I mean, it's just ruining it one team had one guy that tested for covert the shut them down. It was the Atlanta Falcons his backpack, but all of a sudden it went back practice Yeah day later right less than a day later. Yep. It was kind of weird. I don't understand the rules you've pointed out that lack of equal playing field. The rules are all over the map here. Yeah, certain teams will get interested on all the time. When I let me let me get my trash can lid hang on my soapbox. You myself some leverage get the hybrid teams are given the short end or the shit end of the stick. It makes it yeah, it definitely seems like the Patriots are getting shit on more than anybody else essentially you've impacted their season at least a quarter of it basically with the change and even people on Denver. Look Melvin Gordon was so mad about the rescheduling that he went out and drunk drove. This is impacting people's lives. It doesn't get another credit As baseball baseball is synonymous with players with OCD and schedule but the NFL is not that different a lot of these guys follow the same schedule the same Rhythm same diet, once the season starts and you're messing with all of that. It's really odd guys are going crazy cuz they don't know if they gotta play rightfully. So I feel for them. Someone coughs you.

What are we talking about? Next RAB? Welcome to the bubble. Dome pop those bubbles bubble talk or ginger ale ginger ginger beer beer bubble bubble bubble. Bubble Cola Cola and double bubble purple color and all the crazy carbonated stuff that tickles your nose. All right. All right. All right nice and quick bubble talk this week. I just wanted to mention very briefly about the Los Angeles Lakers. Congratulations on those twelve titles those five in Minnesota. Obviously don't count my one question to you. Rob is do you think the Celtics would have fared any better? I mean, I'm trying to second-guess it now, they would have kicked their ass. Yeah, it would suck kick ass, but I think seven games with a chance to win glassy Haywood would have had a hundred point. The first game hundred points combined in the seven-game series, right the first game in the first game. Okay, as long as the first 100 point game and that's why the Lakers trade the Celtics LeBron, right? That's how it works faster for you. I mean LeBron's Legacy do we want to say anything about it now, do we want to say like, is he a top ten of all time? Where we at on this is hairline. It's unbelievable. Right? I mean, it's an evolution baby hairline is like his championship line. I don't want to talk too much shit about hair because I'm so grateful. I still am mine. Yeah, it's there's problems. I've questions. That's that's the thing. I have questions. So he's got two of the heat right to of the heat. Yep. He said no one not too and then I think they cut the video and just got one with the Cavs is favorite one of his honestly that that's what won me back on him. I didn't like him on the heat, but when he got the Cavs one, I'm like, all right, you know what if you want to win a championship go to the shittiest team in the league join them and then win it one thing I would say go back and watch that Cash Title team. It's not a good team man. It's really not ready to LeBron for that one for sure. Just happy that the NBA is over and all those guys are no back home with their families. Yeah out of the bubble again shouts to the talk shows to Adam Silver. They did a nice job with the bubble there. So let's move onto.

"Have seen those I don't think I've ever tried a cookies and cream twists. I mean, it was like a creme brulee one. That was incredible or flawn. I'm not sure what it was. It was amazing. Yeah. Yeah pretentious over there at 2x Pocketful and thought I'd give it a chance. You know, that's why people in England and you say this is where these originated from. That's why they have like the worst Dental playing in the world easy easy on the English. All right easy on the Empire cats, you know that's almost classic. You know, you know, give me a break break me off a piece of that Kit Kat bar. Classic. Yeah. Yeah, not even seen some of the fiber Kit Kats to I'm not sure if that's becoming a thing yet. But that was hold on another one of your favorites and I know these are your favorites Because You Loved this movie Reese's Pieces. This is the thing I one time got kicked out of a house because at one point said Reese's Pieces were better than peanut butter cups, and it was like the walls were on fire. I really just said it to be controversial. Maybe I don't totally believe it but I'm telling you nothing better than a couple of times a year attacking those Reese's Pieces another one that I like to let just melt-in-the-mouth just kind of drift away quietly under my tongue. I love Reese's Pieces. I mean, I was off. Yeah, there's some good another one of my newest favorites and I love these is called a Take 5. Yeah, I've had it. I'm not sure that I'm in love with it yet. But I've added a couple of times. It's solid. I remember I used to like to watch a game. I bar and you know, I don't have them very often. I'm not sure if they're still out there but Take 5 kind of reminds me a little bit of that. They still make Whatchamacallit bars. It's smaller obvious that it was it's a very heavy like yeah used to be a healthy size. It was like a meal. Of course, you know, when the kids come they also want you know Blow Pops. Okay, when you get into like the crunchy like hard candy stuff. I like a lot of that stuff. Like I like sour patch kids and and other gooey sugary stuff but Blow Pops, I've never really been into it know any kids going out trick-or-treating. These are the things they don't want to get okay. Anything Palmer's chocolate as we say not real chocolate. This is the cheap crap candy that some people by just so they have it for Halloween and give it to the kids and it's just awful. It's disgusting chocolate like substance. Yeah. I'm with you if you're going to give Halloween candy out just pay the extra couple of bucks and get the good stuff. Like I was going to ask you to step you don't like like milky Way's I'm out man. I'm not a Milky Way guy off. Milky Way is it's chocolate and you can't go wrong with that. If you like nougat, I guess yeah, I guess I don't like new good like that. If I like maybe like an individually rap thing but like a candy bar size one. I'm not into it. I mean, I like them I am I love Snickers. So what about Three Musketeers? I like three musketeers. I know either like but yeah, I can do like to a year, but that's it. For some reason if I have a three musketeers, it's like for sure I won't have another one thousand six months. But yeah, I just like I don't know what it does. I have a very sensitive sweet tooth without put your phone has your candy coat for the year. That is my third birth control know I can't have more than one next year and that is correct. Yeah one Gary cherone song a year one Three Musketeers. So the way it's it's an extreme song just for the record we both parties. Oh, yeah, I like those. Yeah, you can't remember my parties. Wow. Yeah. How about, you know, like here's the thing right? It's like what you put in the bolt as filler, right? It comes in that cheap bag or whatever wage. Good filler and it like keeps you awake. Like I listen I used to be in the military. I was security guard for a while when you need to stay awake Smarties are good man. Just like pure sugar sugar sugar heroin right to the veins off. It seems like you would be a smart. He's guy. I can't believe your disparaging Smarties. It's the consistency of them. It's the chalkiness. I just don't like I like the chalkiness. Yeah something about it. I don't know man. You can write on the chalkboard read them either way. So let me ask you if you have a smarter than a dumb dumb. Do you feel any different afterwards? I resent that question your honor. What about Almond Joys? We just gloss over mounds and Almond Joy iced this in this fight. I just thought this was.

"Before you get into your next one on T. Usually we get bombarded with Christmas movies by a lot of these channels, but actually they've started doing the Halloween the 31 Days of Horror and you can get those on you can watch those on Syfy network lots of movies in those AMC has their Fear Fest which has totally different movies. So there's much much much more for people to watch. I mean, yeah, they're going to have to deal with the commercials and everything but they can watch a lot of the horrible things in movies that were talking about. Yeah, and I think about it like the ones that have frequently come up and and I like most of these movies the six senses one that I frequently see during Halloween time that Goosebumps movies with Jack Black isn't all that bad. I've always liked them. 1995 Casper movie I always thought that was pretty cute Bill Pullman, Christina Ricci. It's not terrible, but I still have a couple like if you want to lean back more into the scary stuff Scream 1996 movies. I I have missed problem now. I think my problem with the genre is that I think about like how clever are you? How are you writing it? How are you making it different and Wes Craven and what they did was scream that is just a smart movie and it holds up and even though the sequels got progressively worse. I know that they're trying to put another one back together. We'll see if that happens with covid-19. So anything starring Madonna? What about Ben Affleck with jelly? I mean come on. He's got a few scary ones turns a girl really Jersey girl. I kind of Defense his sum of all fears. I that's not a bad movie and not a bad script but he is not Jack Ryan the worst Jack Ryan. Come on been you he just goes for the money Matt Damon reads the scripts pack. I'll do whatever man band does have some good movies like a little bit. Yes. Yeah. He does. He's got some great stuff. He's actually a bad man. What is your all-time? Favorite Halloween movie? Well my all-time favorite Halloween movie. If you've made me if you force me to do just one and I know what you're going to say. It's Ghostbusters. It's 1984. I loved that movie top to bottom forget Halloween forget like there's a little element of Christmas involved in there. Also found that movie is one of the best movies ever made, and it's got hints of scariness. It's incredibly funny. It is a lightning-in-a-bottle Ivan Reitman an unbelievable script and I hope I hope please I home. Aliens and pray India. I hope the new Ghostbusters whenever it comes out with Jason Reitman Ivan's Sun comes out it is watchable decent solid may be good because that movie has the song Move me. I've always been enamored with it and I think it qualifies for The Fall season Ghostbusters. If you force me to just pick one, I'm going to go to that every time Ghostbusters. I knew you were going to you were huge Ghostbusters fan as a kid. He gone. I've always been Egon. What did you do ray. What did you do? Try to think of something that would hurt anybody? It's a Stay Puft Marshmallow Man costume an offer from a scientist. All right. So a lot of scary movie or funny scary movie or you know, or just a franchise scary movie. We gotta talk about scary songs. Yeah, there's a couple of creepy ones. But can I just ask just for the sake of the audience? We didn't mention Nightmare on Elm Street. I like the first one quite a bit and we didn't mention Friday the Thirteenth, you know, obviously we did mention briefly Halloween if you had to pick between Freddy or Jason, who who do you have in in a death match or a table? Cagematch personality wins a lot. So I'd go with Freddy and the in a deathmatch. Oh, yeah, I'm Freddy Freddy all the way. Sorry, man. Used to be a guest on the old show. I know I I was Junior that was just so yeah. Yeah Freddy Junior great dancer as I recall. Yeah, one of the a lot of the franchise a lot of the original the first movies in those franchises were the best and then it's just like a different ways. Can you kill someone? I mean, I agree do you do you consider alien scary movie because I don't think of it as a Halloween movie. It's a smart sci-fi never really put smart sci-fi like Event Horizon is one of em that I like into that Halloween bucket just because they take place in space or whatever. I'm just not that guy. I have to separate my space stuff. Yeah. It's that's more of a thriller. Yeah. Okay just clarifying right? Well along with the Alfred Hitchcock movies lots of Thriller. I tend to think listen, you know me. I there's a lot of Hitchcock. I like there's so much of what he does that I see in other people's movies, but I don't necessarily put them in the bucket of Halloween song. So, you know even psycho. It's just it does I don't consider it that just a straight Thriller like you said, right and then this other movies that you can just go what did I just watch like, you know the happening and the quiet place. I always call these high-concept sort of horror type movies. I don't consider them necessarily horror even get out to a certain extent. It's sort of a high-concept idea Live and Let Live if people think the Sixth Sense is a Halloween movie fine. So be it exactly and not get the the ones that you you want to know. What the hell you just walked and then this movie is that you're wondering why people are watching them in the first place like Bird Box. Yeah, I watch it on Netflix. It was it was fine. It's fine, But I mean during the during the pandemic I swear that's how people have been driving. Yeah, why people forgot how to drive right man covid-19 Like that fine now, I'm going to give you a song that every time I hear it. It kind of sounds like a chill up my spine. It just creeps me the frig out. That's what I'm going to qualify with. All right, so my my boss only one that I really really care about I do have a couple of other ones is Hurdy Gurdy Man by Donovan that freaking song every time I hear it has been used in movies a couple of times a couple of TV shows. I don't know why his voice it's very even all the way it's so freaking odd and creepy and like if it came on and I was in a dark room or in a basement or something, I would leave the room or come upstairs. Wow, that's evolved all the songs out there to pick, you know, you know, the the heavy metal bands and the thrash metal bands and I know there's a bunch of there, but I'm telling you Hurdy Gurdy Man by Donovan 68 that song stands test of time play that shit in the dark one day or on a loan Road out there somewhere. You're going to be freaked out. I'm sorry. Give me your first one. Don't say don't see Sammy Hagar stuff off. Going to say Kelly Osbourne second. Papa Don't Preach but that is scary. That is Gary two songs to sign new single. You don't want to do Vin Diesel's new buds. I bought a new song I gave up an a for effort and an effort, you know, the final result. It.

"We talk about something to actually had a plot not just like, you know knife killflash repeat, you know, the previews background. Absolutely. I'm going to go with nineteen seventy-three and The Exorcist. Oh, yeah. All right. I think there's a lot of people in our family that really are moved and freaked out that particular film. I'm not one of them that and Rosemary's Baby are kind of a swing-and-miss for me quite I could see it. I could see it that movie has like a tone that works consistently throughout that makes it scarier. Oh, here's a fact. About this movie. It was released with an X rating before it even hit the theaters and they had to get it down to an R rating unbelievable. And then it only get released to 24 total theaters, but people lined up like they light up today for an iPhone to watch this movie. They lined up and it made so much money and its first month in the theaters Halloween movies and scary movies horror movies, whatever you want to call them. They have that history of this where the Blair Witch Project gain momentum over time Paranormal Activity. You can have interesting ideas with horror that I think, you know to me the genre gets played out pretty frequently, but certainly The Exorcist one of The Originals, you know to me that point. I like a lot of Alfred Hitchcock movies psycho the birds vertigo, they don't necessarily make the list but I've always said it I said if really in my blog and I'm talking flix.com and robots grill.com the stuff that you don't see is more important than the ambience setting the tone the music the vibe you get that creepy Vibe is more important than exploding heads and blood and guts everywhere and you know Linda Blair plays a great possessed girl. Yep. Soup coming out of her mouth and vomit man, they did not they're not going to stingy on the vomit. And what's scarier than a demonic possession Yeah. Well, yeah, I'm tracking on package. That one works for me for me. I'll go into something a little bit more nice now a little bit more fun. And I had a hard time choosing between Beetlejuice which is 88. It's a great movie Tim Burton Michael, maybe Peak Michael Keaton. I'm not sure right Alec Baldwin Geena Davis performance Catherine O'Hara just won an Emmy, right? It's a great movie, but I always go back to when it's Halloween the weather gets cool. The leaves are changing not here with us, but everywhere else gremlins gremlins. I really liked Gremlins. It has the right Vibe for me and even Gremlins 2 the new batch. These are two movies that I don't think they get enough credit. I'm not I'm surprised it hasn't been rebooted recasted yet. My Gremlins is one of my favorites. I've always liked that movie Phoebe Cates incredible stuff fun a little bit scary and just the right tone. I want for Halloween night. Yep, you don't get them wet and you dead. Freedom after midnight is a crazy great movie. It's a funny. It's really funny cuz and it's got cute and a little bit creepy which is the right mix that's what you want and all the different characters of the Gremlins and all the different personalities was like what what made that movie the funny thing is like the first one they get there with it and they think they figure out what they have because the second one even though it didn't do that. Well, I think it came out in a nine. They really go into the personalities of the Gremlins. I thought there could have been a TV show. I know they tried a cartoon there was some spin-off stuff. I didn't quite work out but this is prime for a recast or something. I think this should be done. I think your what's a missed opportunity here Halloween movie is Gremlins. Really a Halloween movie or is it a Christmas movie? I knew you were going to bring that up. You know what I leave it to the people to decide you're going to leave it to the people decide. Okay. Now he's still in your comedy bit here with a Halloween slash Christmas movies now which you know before Christmas, I mean everybody thinks that's a Halloween movie. It's a Christmas movie. So I don't want to have this fight. You know, I hot dog. Ought to be is a Christmas. I don't care what anybody says it's an action movie. All right. This one came out 1976 Stars Piper. Laurie Nancy Allen Alan, you know from RoboCop if she yeah William Katt you remember the Greatest American Hero John Travolta is in this in the star of the movie is Sissy Spacek. Oh God, you're going here. All right, it's scary. Yeah, this one does creep me out. I'll give you that. Okay the tagline for this movie. Do you remember what it was any idea? I can't remember girls are awful. I'm not sure if you've got a taste for Thursday just take Carrie to the prom. Come on that is scary as hell another kind of almost a demonic possession type of movie. It is legit scary. I'll give you that. Yeah, it's a it's a creepy One Life assure. I knew you were going to pick this one. I get it. It's not my cup of tea and they remade it right and the Remake wasn't that good either. I don't know why it doesn't totally work for me, but it's never totally worked for me so much blood. It's just too much blood. All right, what's your name? One so for me, there's so many. Like I said, I wanted to give shout-outs to ones that people really like for Halloween legit movies that you can watch with the whole family or whatever things like hocus-pocus in ninety-three. They just released that it's making money in the cinema still it's a great movie. You know, I love the Halloween movies. I think of all the Halloween movies. I've watched curse of Michael Myers for some reason in ninety-five the most of Rob Zombie one's a little bit gritty, but I didn't hate those either wage aren't Meatheads. Over but I like a movie that you know is a little bit scary. It's a little bit of a think piece. It's a little spoofy. I like a movie called nineteen. Ninety twos Death Becomes Her with Goldie Hawn and Meryl Streep a nice Bruce Willis Castle performance. They are also I just like the weird ones and this one is one that I tend to, you know, the use of the set-pieces the house and stuff. It just works really well for me. I've always liked it. I was tend to revisiting least once or twice a year right around the fall. So that one is kind of a Halloween staple for me. So that's becomes our I could go for that. Haven't seen in a while. It is surprisingly rewatchable and 492 affects affects are nice and clean. It's a glossy movie to look at. I'll steal your catchphrase right now. I'll allow it. Okay, I'll.

"You're surfing through the internet connection a podcast normally in Sight and Sound but mine's a journey into a crazy land whose boundaries of that of your imagination. That's the web link wage head your next stop the East to the West with Nick and Rob Zone. I always complain. Hey, Nick, are you scared? Always rob. You know what I'm here to do chew bubblegum and kick ass and I'm all out of bubble gum. That's right folks back for another exciting episode of east and west with Nick Arab and this is not the Halloween special episode October Here Comes. So there was some movies out there that I got a scare. Some people really scared. I'm more of a funny Halloween guy. You're a scary thought green guy. Wait a minute. We taking a turn you're going to funny and I'm going scary. It's tight is turned yet again. Just when you think you know Van Halen songs, Sammy Hagar shows up. Let's go over some I personally have three and I know you have about a list of a hundred and two I had way too many. It is really hard to pick which ones I want to keep what I would say is. Okay. So Gary funny fave, this is tough. You have to Define it a little bit for me and then I'll narrow my list down. What if you could be one of each? Okay, I can do that. I can make that happen for you, and I'm just going to go all scary. All right, let me go first. Can I go first and just log? My scariest get it out of the way. Give the people what they want. Sure. All right. So the scariest movie I have ever seen and I blame my mother for this I watched it when I was way too young and I have never truly got over it and my mom as I famously said on talking flip.com said this was a true story and I didn't know wasn't a true story until like I saw the book at a bookstore when I was like Seventeen and I was like goddamn this is science of the Lambs in nineteen ninety two for at least a couple of years. I thought this was a true story and that movie I saw it when I was I want to say 12 years old. I might have been 13-3 the crap. So do you have any meals often with some fava beans and a fine chiante? I always have fava beans in the in the in the cabinet in the pantry and I and I like a chiante and I striking out to everyone song by the way. We talked about it before the Hannibal TV show quite a few people who played Hannibal Lecter. Now one of the most iconic villains of all the time if not the most iconic but the TV show did such a good job of actually dead. Eating people look really tasty incredible. It's a great food court on that show. Okay, that's it. That's my scary as Silence of the Lambs 92 obviously swept up. The page is just an incredible movie. Okay. My first scariest is pretty much number one cuz I'll tell you right now that there's something about nineteen seventy s horror movies like the older ones. Yeah, you like the old school like cheap fake blood gore don't know most of the 80s ones. I'm more into the seventies horror movies. We talk about something to actually had a plot not just like, you know knife killflash repeat, you know, the previews background. Absolutely. I'm going to go with nineteen seventy-three and The Exorcist. Oh, yeah. All right. I think there's a lot of people in our family that really are moved and freaked out that particular.

That same kind of, I know always seemed kind of flavor. By the way, that hot too doesn't kind of red Hot star fun. How about the cinnamon bears the red Bear? God, Don't get me started. I know what that is a cinnamon bear like gummy bears. But there They're not the same consistency of a gummy bear. They're better. They have Maur the disability there. I would say that in there less waxy, they're more. There's just something good and they have a great cinnamon punch thoughts. They want to taste cinnamon e. Yeah, they're closer to adopt than they are a gummy bear. You're derailing like how in touch we are with our This is our really families. It's where we're most kindred. Donna and I are so different in so many ways. But if you get us If you put both of us at Minnesota's largest candy store down, Jordan forget it. I like those little I I think the company's called like goats, e g o e T z E and they make those Carmel's with the white filling on the inside love, though. Oh, yeah, because you're so good. Why aren't those good If you like those You probably like Werther's originals you No, no. Because that's a butterscotch? Yeah. Are these air caramel creams? Bye, Goat. See's candy caramel creams. Oh, and they're the same people that make the Calle tails. I had a season in my life. 7th and 8th Grade was almost defined by Cal tales for me, and then I had one bad experience with a Kyle tail. And was like, I don't think I'm ever going to eat these again. I've never had one. Really? Yeah. If you had Super rope Yes. Now, Super rope is, I think only sold at Roller rinks, and it's like at the little vending. The concession area where you could get not just pizza or super ropes is what they had at the chess arena in Pittsburgh. And Oh, gosh, and I thought, Oh, good dollars. Twizzlers are I'm gonna have to go with red vines being the superior licorice heated debate here Debate. Well, it depends if you're just trying to enjoy this licorice. I could agree with you that I I really like a twister. If we're doubling its use as a straw, red vines far superior just because you don't have to suck as hard, Okay? Here. Guys. I've never been to that big candy, so you should go now before it closes it, so I know it won't close for this season. I believe it's the weekend after Thanksgiving. That is their final weekend. But George Clooney still picks up under the table to further to be fair. He already is doing like that, like Nescafe, a commercials he's doing like the The captain of the real little Yeah, like there. It's like the answer to cure egg. Whatever that I don't know what it's whatever that is, doesn't help old people poo. I think it does. I think it asks, And I promise you between that and the tequila company, these soldiers, millions of bucks the pick of line of high. I'm George Clooney or Hi, I'm Brad Pitt still carries a torch. This amount of ways totally does. They're hotter dudes out there right? Totally bad. The whole package I get saying it's the chick being able You say I'm hanging out with Brad Pitt Right now you are going with Brad Pitt and I are things he's not old 50 dudes who's old is her husband. Well, that probably would be a daily mail is calling him jilted husband So I don't know how open that marriage actually wass. They said it was open. Maybe maybe He wasn't aware now and now I just found out that it was open when Brad became available. I mean, there's no shame losing to Brad Pitt. But like John Mayer to me of John Mayer's gonna go in, let's say a bar in broad. Let's say it's Kilroy's our brother here and you put John Mayer against Brad Pitt. John Mayer is going to get younger chicks than Brad Pitt because he's a lot younger. I disagree. I completely 100% and I will fight you one eye. You're wrong about this. John Mayer does incredibly well, he is on the Mount Rushmore of picking up strange but Brad Pitt and the whole package. It's the number one seed tournament of hot dudes picking up. Pittman arms The tie rods and everything, and I had to front and aligned. And afterwards it seems like I've got road sway or kind of about things that go down the road put new shocks on it. You have any suggestions about what I did right or wrong, say road sway like you get a lot of play in the steering itself. Or I got so much steering. Just when you go down the road and with these roads that are all torn up, and San Antonio and and Werther's construction is things like it kind of rolls or bounces when you hit some of the You know the rolls in the in the road or your exiting and there's kind of a dip. Don't know what you're talking about Me and Santonio has the best road in the world anyway. No, that was a joke. Yes. No. Um, I mean, did you do anything with the sway bar links? No. Okay, easy. Just get underneath there. Find your sway bar. You're gonna have to link pins on each side. They're gonna go to the lower control arms. Ah, a lot of times a rubber bushings that Aaron. Those are like Shaq bushings and appear over period time. We'll get worn and crack and actually, fallout. Will the sway bar won't basically be connected anymore, And that's when you develop a lot of sway. So you hit a bump. You go around a corner. It just feels really loose and like the whole suspensions loose. It's an easy fix the sway bar links or cheap, You pride by him for 20 bucks for a pair, but the easy to check just grab the sway bar, use side and just wiggle it. If you feel any movement in it at all, then those bushings are bad. The falcon or a play. I'm right. Oh, yeah, that's easy. Is that a big job new? It's like about 1/2 hour in labor. That's why I said support or not nemesis this morning, also even awesome gas Charles Boldness. Year Charles. How are you? Good thanks for having me Dan in Bobby I. appreciate it. Appreciate you being so Charles is the new head baseball coach at the University of Wisconsin Oh clear and they're actually reviving they reviving their program werther starting it for the first time. It didn't have stopped or they yeah they they did. They had in the nineties. They started in nineteen, ninety five. So man that's gotta be a big Vilson rookie. That's of big undertakings. We have a lot of topics to talk about today. But what? What do you do when you start? From nothing but a college. Well, I kinda similar, you know Kinda it similar to what I had to do for my travel organization I started that from nothing. and I had no support. I had no financial backing ahead. No sponsors I had no facility I had nothing. So basically I had to figure out a way to market players into parents and kind of Selma Vision, and it was no different than what I deal with. You know starting this program except for. Millions of resources, obviously way more money and athletic department in you know Athletic Director who was supportive in a school. You know that's important. Also you know we talk about not the you know the athletics, but the school is super supportive. You know from the chancellor and things like that so it yeah, you start making all the all the boring paperwork for you. Yeah and exist so much work even for baseball like your travel team after to all the parents slips and all that stupid stuff that takes a lot of time. At all man it's and it's just like it yet. It's like homework you know when school when you know your professors. Teachers are just giving you busy work. It's it's the same thing that's the. That's the part that's not fun, but the fun part is is definitely coaching in now I've got my staff figured out and I can give them a lot of responsibilities and you know. Give them that autonomy, so they can do things too so I don't i. don't try to do it all on my own and I rely on them a lot. You know. Give them responsibility, so it works. That's good. How long did it take you to to figure your staff? ooh! I would say everything was fully figured out with everybody. This is June now. I would say march into March. On Your staff now. So I've got a my pitching coach Stefka Tasca. He's from Illinois. He's worked with elite He also a pitched at Saint. MARY'S IN MINNESOTA I've got CJ Kohler He actually coached at Finlandia. He's coming over. And I got AJ voyage, and he coached at Carol and he was the pitching coach. He's coming over the work with the catchers. insular steps working with the pitcher is undoing. The hitter is in the outfielder, so we have coaches at every position. And, that's something that's important that these guys are getting that individual development. Scott More Immoral Division One program at this point exactly. Yeah, absolutely! Yeah, that's what I was. I was. Throwing around in my head, obviously an individual on what three head coach in paid assistance, and then they just exploited everyone else What's what's your program? What is what is the the D three staff? Look like financially I mean. How many of these guys can you pay like? What is it like? All three of them, but the amount of money is not great You know they they love it. They're doing it for the greater good of baseball in. Their body into what you know, the bigger purposes of what we're trying to do. you know what? I mean bill the program for years to come at the dynasty be one of the best programs not only for division. Three Banana Country the way we run our. You know program. I wanted to run like a division one program. We have a strengthened performing coach. We've a team manager with an equipment manager Excuse me. We've state of the art lifting facility. If you saw that, it goes up, we have our own custom rates. It's got over thirty benches and squat rats, so we're. We're ahead of the game and a lot of areas are athletic director. Is the man So? We're these these student. Athletes have a great opportunity with us. They have access to anything if they need. That does sound big time I mean a lot. Not Certainly is to disparage, but like d three programs don't tend to have as big of athletic facilities, right and to have like a really well equipped weight room. I mean can just like. Blowing it away when they walk in further their visit for sure. Yeah. Yeah absolutely and I feel that way, too. With the guys, the way I recruit them I think a Lotta Times to like with I. Want Individual Success. I'm the players coach, but I I expect a lot of them. You know as well when I when I have them under my wing, but if players do good, they need that special attention. If one of my pictures are pitchers of the week, everybody should know about that and I'm GonNa. put it out there and tell everybody you know fifty thousand times over. So I think a lot of times. Coaches try to put this facade on like. Oh, it's not about the individual. It's you know it's about the team. Yes, it's about the team, but it's also supporting your guys who work hard in giving them that you know that attention that they need that notoriety. That's important to have your work off for you. Yeah, for sure and you got you. Guys Have Athletic Department. I'm right near. It says it reinstated ball women's Lacrosse and men's soccer in an in an age where. Programs are getting cut so.
