The count was low and When weary with furious. I got floored he got up damn near one that round if wow they knock them down fear would win that fight. It was still close. It was a draw. Some people say if you're a one but because of that devastating knockout. Some people gave to wilder giving edge either way. It was a draw bill to the second fight. Second fight i mean fury swishes holtkamp. Camp up start training macron boxing with with with sugarhill legendary Transco for manual store recipes. You know saying nobody number legends in heart in hard hitters came out of a crop. Boxing up there in detroit but Gower sugarhill changes. Oh game playing math. Hello, well, currently just in the second half of this euro 2020 final and a few minutes into the first half, England scored a goal by Luke. Sure. So England County leaved one male. Now, as you say, an unprecedented time for many England fans who under the age of 55, because as you say, The last time that England won a major tournament was back then in 1966, so a lot of excitement, a lot of anticipation. I'm currently just outside when police stadium we're still fans are cheering. There is a lot of excitement. I I say that the atmosphere is electorate because for so many fans who have descended on Wembley tonight is truly historic. It's worth mentioning, however, that some fans without tickets have tried to forcibly enter the stadium. There have been some ugly You know, I'm clashes, so to speak, but beyond that, Excitement anticipation that actually for England fans. It may be coming home after 55 years, indeed, or it may be going Rome. We're going to be hearing from the Italian capital a little later in the program, depending on which which way it goes. "You're an aga texting in Wembley Stadium for those who are interested is about a 58 minute drive from Wimbledon. Uh, if you want to drive through nodding Hill, though it takes about an hour and eight minutes, So if Djokovic makes quick work of Barry Teeny today, Amber It is possible. That somebody could go from Wimbledon all the way to Wembley and catch the euro final between Italy and England this afternoon at three o'clock. I don't know what I guess It does have a nine o'clock over there they six hours had Don't ask me to do fast math on the radio. But here's my question What you wear as a guest and a spectator at Wimbledon, I think is a very different outfit than what you wear to Wembley Stadium with 65,000 fans that fair to have to change. You'd have to change in the card, right? You certainly would. Because you're going from upscale and, um, high fashion. I feel like but comfortable, right? A balance of both. And then you you you to put on a jersey I think you'd have to. You have to change that you fit in. At the euro. I wouldn't imagine people are really doing this because you'd be taking a chance that you're going to make it on time. So I don't know what you'd bother to buy. I imagine that's a hefty ticket, so you bother to buy tickets to both. I mean, maybe it's something that people do. I think that they're probably more likely to go from Wimbledon to the pub and get the drinking going early. Waiting for the euros just or straight, Pop pop pop pop pop straight to Wembley, which you know that all 65,000 fans are doing exactly that. Conor. Take it away. Think it's Mikey. Ticketless England Fans Warned to Stay Away From London as Daily UK Cases Spike

"London's Metropolitan Police asking fans of English soccer not to travel to the British capital ahead of their teams appearance today in the European Championship final because of rising covid 19 infections. Willem Marx reports from London, where the finals being played at Wembley Stadium. A senior London police official, Lawrence Taylor, said fans without tickets for the championship final match against Italy on Sunday should stay at home and those in London should not congregate in large groups. He called the city a public health crisis and warned officers will disperse crowds and enforce existing social distancing laws just days before they loosen. The highly transmissible delta variant, first identified in India has caused a significant spike in coronavirus cases across the UK Particularly in London's northwest site of England's national soccer stadium. The crowd inside may be allowed to almost reach the full 90,000 capacity on Sunday to watch the end of this hugely popular European soccer tournament that was postponed last year due to the pandemic. "From evening standard in london. I'm david malls. Then this is the leader regardless of. Who's in it the twenty twenty supposed to market triumphant. Return for wembley stadium even at half capacity the role of more than forty thousand. Football fans would signify how far the country and europe has come since the pandemic love everything down. the game will happen but might not at wembley. There's a rumor. Uefa wants to switch the venue to budapest. And it's all over. A border control dispute debbie blida. Glanton nicholas astles. Here now nicholas. What's the problem. The problem is that uefa want around two and a half thousand. Vip's to be allowed to come over into britain without quarantining for the buick. Twenty twenty semi finals and finals. Then that clearly the issue here is that. Britain's moment are effectively grounded from going on holiday apart from of ace for list of greenland countries. And so the idea that you serve talk bra. Sponsors and politicians flying into the country without having to quarantine is obviously could cause some degree of controversy. Yes i can imagine a lot of people being at least a little bit frustrated by that. But it's also the health issue as well. You have two and a half thousand people coming over here without having to quarantine some health experts. Who are concerned that that might lead to an increase in covid nineteen infections here but the government itself hasn't said no to this that is going to be looking at whether it's possible was happening at the moment is that their final talks taking place between uefa and and the government about the arrangements for these games wanting is also being explored is whether fans from overseas producer. Come in and that would be uefa. Certainly that would be constrict testing and bubble system. And they don't be allowed to the country for less than twenty four hours but that will we'll be controversial. We had the home office minister capable house on the rage this morning. And he's saying that they're trying to make all work without causing public health problems difficult to achieve that Senate we've had a number of events that g seven where they've been a number of cases reported afterwards so it seems that if you do have the big gatherings they will be an increasing cases to some degree and this is happening as london evening standard has been reporting this week is struggling with getting people to get vaccinated as one lewis rates in the country so this weekend is going to be a big push to get people especially younger people to get. The vaccine isn't the yes. Public health appealing to young people in london. To come and get jabbed and get tested particularly get jabbed this weekend. There's talk of super saturday where people will be able to go to the grounds on saturday that that includes west. I'm chelsea charlton. And spurs on sunday to get the covid vaccination the latest figures. Show actually ve really quite sharp rise in covid infections. Among the twenty to twenty four year olds previously. The wise was among school-age children per now it seems to be going up the age groups still amongst young adults who are less vulnerable to the virus than older people but the sunny is increased which may start called concerns sued and connors meeting with vaccines minister. Nadeem sahar we again to try and get more supplies into london. London lags behind other regions in vaccination rates and what this means that if there is a big in the delta violent cases are you a third wave then the capital is more vulnerable than of areas. Because the evidence shows that the jobs work in stopping severe disease. So this big push to get more london's vaccinated. London is also a young region compared to many other parts of britain so that they're more young people to vaccinate and the mayor is pushing full for more suitable vaccine. So more find jobs. For example and madonna jobs because those are the factions being used for young adults. One of the problems that appears to mazda out of this nicholas is the cease to be a large number of people in london who aren't registered with the gp. Yes this area is very interesting. Because sizeable portion of young people are not registered with gp's and for example there was an event at twickenham recently around half the people who turned out to get their job. There were not registered with. Gp's london has a far bigger population. Churn in many other regions. Lots of people come here for a few months or years or so and then leave so these people may still be on. Gp's lists but no longer live in the city so this again may come to distort slightly the vaccination rates and that's the we're back on monday.

"Much like game. The bowl you have ryan drive. Yeah and that's going. Roy whipple loza problems. Like we said if he comes on. Lightning games against defenses. That's gonna cost so when you look at the the The dynamics over dude bellingham agreement an essential right that you've got the capability of calling on those three players right and the Phospholipid and they're having a brilliant game right there ripping. Can you imagine the riffing them free doing of each other. What they can do to the opposing team. Kinda take what miles davison. Exactly like that right because when you look at what and then what we're capable of what we can bring up the bench. What we could do but then free without thinking of anybody else having the tournament of their lives in this team. It's exciting did. I saw the other day i was watching Very jet greeters highlights and what blew me where he was. How slighty was how skinny he was there were no carbs told by the no carbs. The garbage skinny. They want thing a now. His carbs the most famous par. His kind of allows zeke. And i was like goodness agreed to obviously realized manetti age. I'm getting kicked two pieces right. And what's the thing about line from tended. There's some people that run towards the burning building. Greet us. I'm going to need bigger caused because i'm going to be running into burning buildings my career and he basically went in boca because he was like. I'm going to get kicked. They've got bounce off me and he made that choice. And there's a lot of wings you see unwind forwards midfielders whichever position. Who don't meet that choice. But this is what i think is so impressive about him like i said this before. His bravery is absolutely incredible and then the tournament situation where people are going to be afraid. Because you know in big tournaments and this is not to call out. It's a thing that happens to anyone in a stressful situation. It's not an exam room in an exam room. We've done your vision and you already difficult question. The people to get the radio high marks wants to take the risks and the ones that have the reasonable mocks. Don't take risks exam room. Of course you'll think you're gonna freeze gonna go for green lush and exam situation. Footballing situation is the one that reaches for. The risk is not a judgment on the players that don't because it's terrifying to do that but that's why he is so exciting. Destroy goes to the next level. That's why he exciting. Yeah yeah that's my players to watch. We'll get those talks guessing. Small cell stop at south australia sabina midfield yet because he's got such a big work he always manages to be creative. Despite having the a big load. I would go for parrella. It's e because the way that his trajectories goings would impressive. Barack gilmaz pataki. Yes just because. Spain and top challenges that they haven't quite anticipated petra nowadays are dying. But i think he'll be one to watch. I think you'll have a row. I mean always watch my son exotic. I think he'll start. So i picked players who some of some not so spoke so i think we'll be decisive when it really gets to the business watching the other day because just seemed flash of stuff goes as you mentioned mesa Watch out for them even more about superbeets but he didn't see too much of him against england the other day but i like golovin of Of rush russia e for is really good in the world cup. Really good especially the pressure on the. But i don't think he gets a he's as well. Yeah yeah yes man yeah. He's one of those sneaky sneaky for the oldest sudden. Our shopping came out of nowhere. Yes and we've got what foxy being an suddenly not in euros. Our shopping was just like oh my god. He's going to sign for anyone who wants to. I'm not saying golovin with duda but it's the way he's just slid tin easy and it just just everything was seen as the week goes support. Some zuber who familiar bring you know when you when you watch do. I don't know if i'm just drawn towards not saying that russia gonna win anything or do anything. But just like the way that he plays golovin of zuber and even curry christian. Vieri exactly when it goes in there. Seventy six foot six days there and then it's up to the people to be in and around. That can be done. That can be very dangerous. I'm actually for spain. I'm looking forward to watching job marina. Ghia i considered him a little bit for golden boom. He's gonna score goals..

Harry Maguire and Reece James sent off as England lose to Denmark at Wembley

"Harry Maguire managers are get booked twice in the space of half an hour reese James Manages to get sent off after the final whistle and England lose at home to Denmark. Chose Maguire's having a rough time. Do you blame him or do you blame the managers who keep playing him? To start. Button, ready with United Against Peres I thought that was even worse with England on on Wednesday night I mean why is going on? There's a second yellow card he tackles with his left foot right-footed. Like maybe I don't know. But even just defy. Logic of anything and he's just I think he needs a break. I think you need to stop playing for a while. I think just needs to refocus reenergize just just having breakfast just stop do something. To do something bit, don't play with united at the weekend against to. Surly doppler with united. against. Chelsea and Aston, which are the next to. Premier League. I think it could get worse. Okay. But I agree with you on the wire but should we be called? I know we all love Gary Southgate because he's not very nice guy you don't like him. Till you're going to blame him as well for. What Clearly you can see that. Lacks confidence lacks form likes pretty much everything. Much much fitness sharpness everything what you play him was you pay me in the game night. This were already you were not good against bedroom, for example and not. Even McGuire and then you play in a game like this again I i. think you need a break I think everybody can see it and I just hope you get say for his own sake I will say this about southgate because we're seeing the same film that unwound with every single previous in England coach. Everybody jumped on the bandwagon. So great it's love show good whether at the time was competitor happened with hearts and Ericsson and then all of a sudden they turn on him and totally go the other way. Eric Edgar Cooke Is The Night Caller

"In January of Nineteen Fifty, nine, twenty, eight year old Eric Cook was in pain. His face was in fresh scratches drawing even more attention to his recognizable harelips features. If anyone asked what happened, Cook blame the scratch marks on his eldest son who was developmentally handicapped while Cook blamed his son for his injuries. The true culprit was thirty-three-year-old Pnina Berkman when Cook attacked Panini in her apartment on January twenty ninth she fought back her long manicured nails gouged his face as she tried desperately to repel. In the end, it was a fight, Pennino couldn't win. She died under living room floor after cook ran from the flat. The city of Perth Austrailia was rocked by the shocking murder and leads quickly dried up cook left now, prints and DNA technology was too rudimentary to conclusively tiny one to the blood under Pineda's nails residents in the Wembley area reported seeing Prowler in the neighborhood on nights leading up to the attack but no one could give a clear description of the man so as. Long as he kept his head down, Cook was in the clear and that's just what he did for the next six months. Cook was relatively inactive but by August he couldn't control his urges any longer be eighth. He left his wife Sally at home with their children and set off into the shadows he ended up in the affluent area of Midland's the suburb was popular with students of the nearby university making it a prime target for cook who loved to Peek in windows at potential targets. One. Such student was seventeen year old Alex Don, who was spending the night alone at her sister's apartment as Alex slept twenty nine year old cook made his way around the building. Until he found an open window, it was too small and high to be an obvious entry point, which is probably why anyone neglected to close it. But Cook wasn't deterred once he managed to scramble through the window he rifled through Alex's purse taking what little money the nursing student had. But even as experienced and quiet as cook was the teen woke up panicking cook seized something heavy, perhaps a fire poker and Hit over the head knocking her out, not wanting to wait for the girl to wake up cook left the way he came in Alex was left alone until the next morning when friends arrived in rushed to the hospital in addition to a nasty Gash above her I Alex suffered a fractured skull and was left with a severe form of epilepsy that derailed her career aspirations and would affect her for the rest of her life. Not that Eric Cook had any cares about the woman who's life he just ruined by the time Alex finally left the hospital in September he'd already moved onto a fresh. Suburb. Full of new houses and clueless victims for the prolific cat burglar a few months. Later, his new favourite haunt was the wealthy neighborhood of Brookwood flats on an early visit to one building. He stole a key from the ground floor apartment of Betty Johnston then returned to burgle the place of few times. Betty's next door neighbor was twenty, two year old daughter, Jillian brewer and terrier designer. Jillian caught cooks I on one of his visits and he took pleasure watching through the window as the young woman had sex with her fiance. But watching evidently wasn't enough Vanessa's going to take over on. The psychology here, and throughout the episode please note Vanessa is not a licensed psychologist or a psychiatrist but she has done a lot of research for the show thanks Greg in a later assessment of his psychological development Dr Aaron. Samuel Ellis stated that Cook was sexually naive and afraid of women who might conceivably test his sexual adequacy. It's possible that this misguided fear or hatred of a sexually confident unmarried woman caused cooks thoughts to turn to violence. This theory aligns with cooks first murder victim Panini Berkman who had no qualms about having sex outside of wedlock and even had the gall to sleep naked.

Be Subjecting himself to a year of misery in the primarily next season. I e the night before I watched. My, team just stumble over the finish line I watched. What fit in the Premier League Neil four down against Manchester ccn about half an hour and Really, did change my mind as to whether I wanted to go open all. It made me. It made me think you know my. Maybe, think back to when we were when we were booking and planning a trip to the French Open. and. Planning our early days. shedule around your. Travel to the playoff finals. Wembley I said, would it be okay if I trip back to London for the final during the French? Open and we decided that that would be content gold, yes. And then the universe conspired against us, and here we are six months later, making more lockdown content. Enjoy everyone. But we love to listen to questions ones, don't we? It gives us a chance to rant and rave and. Give! Opinions about things and it is drew David. They've. Picked out the best of the questions from social media they've they've come up with some of their own as well. And a good questions quite meaty, so proposals fakes ready. Oh Yeah Yeah. Matt's never looked already had a haircut. He's yeah. What do we think of the haircut? It's pretty dramatic as he did. Go four and a half months without touching. Any haircut would have been quite dramatic because. Quite. Did You keep the her? No. As I said God. What A WEIRD QUESTION OKAY! To lockdown, everybody being on. We'll obviously quite a lot of questions that have come in about lockdown about covert about how it's going to affect tennis. Is Kind of unavoidable to to address all of those issues. And try and speculate about a completely unpredictable. Because frankly that's what the situation has been in instill is but. We make our money by predicting the unpredictable say goes. It? I I question. will go with the something covid related. Is the players responsibility to do what safe for themselves or is it? The tournaments responsibility to guarantee safety regarding covert. A Nice easy one. To to to ease yourselves and he wants to take that. Why I don't think it is possible to guarantee anything really you know. The the tournaments rinsed Francis the US Open. It is incumbent upon them to create the safest environment possible and to convince the plaza, the bubble that they are creating and the passage they're creating into that bubble is a secure as possible, but ultimately the players have got to decide whether that's something that they are prepared to do whether. They're comfortable to do whether they're. Also prepared to stay within an environment like that because they cannot be breaking the protocol. We've seen in world team. Tennis. They from what it seems like did a pretty decent job of creating a bubble. Daniel Collins decided to go elsewhere. for I, I mean she. She did say it seems that she needed some treatment for her. What's the condition? She has rheumatoid arthritis which Kim. You know okay. I sympathize with her, but. She brought the bubble and therefore got thrown out a world team tennis. We saw Griego Dimitrov who tested positive for. ovid's during the until. gave an interview last night and He's had a really terrible time with illness I. Probably mild symptoms relatively speaking and yet he said he was in bed for three weeks and he's still feeling the effects of it now so. Players have got to make the call as to how much of a risk they're prepared to take. HOW COMFORTABLE LEAD! Enduring, cyber, there is it is impossible to guarantee safety I think.

After huge rows and barriers put up in front of her. As she confronted a prevailing culture, she sets up the Michaela Secondary, school in Wembley. Her pupils read five. Shakespeare plays in three years that told a culture of kindness which includes helping each other and their families and offering adults there seats on buses in the tube. She also has an incisive word about how black a nation kids are subtly told, then, not British. Do you feel you've had to prove yourself more than most because of your philosophies on education? Yes we take a slightly different way of doing things. God behavior got teaching methods got the ethos, and so it's been a bit of A. Bite to persuade people that this is an option that's worth trying may now with our outstanding off stead, and with our grizold Jesus last year. It seems pretty obvious that this is a a valid way of doing things. But when we started, it was far from being valid. People thought we were a bit crazy frankly to to be doing what we were doing. There is a prevailing wind in education. Still blows against you, Catherine sued. You still are people. They're trying to trip you up all the time. If there are any sort of dropping of standards, I know, that will be disciplined, standards are central to your ethos, but but there's a lot of people not on your side. Yeah, that's true although I have to say many of them have owned by the wayside over the years and not I do feel in a way. Many of them have just given up because we kept on going and it is hard to. To argue against the school that is giving city children chances that they wouldn't otherwise have had. That's teaching them so well. They're you know they really are just defying all the expectations, and also we get over six hundred businesses every year. Mainly Teachers Knoll is teachers. Say My goodness. They're so well behaved. They're so curious there so independently minded. They're so nice, you know. The children are just nice, so when when you got anecdotal evidence like that and you've also got kind of data that shows that we're doing very well. It is hard to argue against it so. People who do argue against it tends to just be. Personal attacks. You know they just don't like me or they don't like. Is They? Don't like school. Stands for an tend to say things like all. "Because I was like, yeah. Why didn't they? But I guess that's a good point. It would be nice if every Consett. Didn't have the same thing while still giving people. What they want to an extent. Queen said good night before coming back six encore songs. In my opinion that was a that was an Alii time to call it. What do you think I never? I never understood the concept, I? Think. It's Kinda way to pump the energy because you think it's over, they go back on stage. It sucks. It's so expected now like it's never a surprising expected like it's more like how many encores. Now. I've seen Sumi live concerts the way the band haven't played. They like most recognizable song, and then they guys Aleida. Bye, and then then ever on-site ch-. That's a Blah like. and. Then like they're like, yeah, you got us and. Best Song. You can't do that. If you're GONNA, play your set and then have like one, this is where they should have done the covers eric and they should have done. Like all the old songs and then said Oh, let's cool and then recovers or something I mean pain less because the covers tend out to be like some of the best songs in the GIG, but I, think like. As, a matter of policy. was in a ban and I was good and I would just like I would I would make the uncalled literally bonus songs like star, we might not have played otherwise you're, but we will rock you in the champions That non-negotiables to me say, especially, Radio Gaga actually I think it's again. It's just it's just a matter of managing shows. Ship because because that's why you put the cover songs or less known ones. Because you also give you a chance to the to the audience to. Catch their breath and relax. Yeah. Like a good show is not is not something that just goes better and better and better and better. No, it got it slows, and then it goes back up and it's amazing again, and you have to finish on a high note..

"Twelve or thirteen something that I started hearing them I. Think the first one that I heard is a. What's it to neither go and I have a good term? Does time. Yeah. It was just so. So Energetic Yeah And I just I just fell in love with them right there, and then and a guy like several Quinn tracks from different albums and I. Set, my own playlist, and those those are my childhood Queen Songs that I just in love with. And I had another weird thing with Quinn. Is that from the first time I heard him I. Thought Freddie Mercury was probably my favorite singer ever and I. I, knew that I don't want to ever see him. The voice was so awesome to me that I just wanted to keep it completely separate from the way. He actually looks and I gotta say that I still haven't seen Freddie Mercury face although I kinda get like you know it's been a lot of years. Since then so I I kinda got the notion you know with with the mustache and active. But I love it, I don't really know how are we looks like and I've got like this. Mental Mental Image of God. Just, you know on a on a stage just rules it. Would you say if for Halloween, a bunch of kids dressing up as Freddie Mercury, you'd be out to identify them, but a Freddie Mercury came. You just think he was like a grown up dressing as Freddie Mercury completely, right? Just just completely. That's funny because because I just adore the guy and I did you know I was Kinda thinking when the movie came oft Bohemian Rhapsody. I was I was it was a real dilemma for me because I knew that if I'll go there, then it might taint that whole ideal image that I have of him, of course. Not watching the real Freddie Mercury. But. Remmy Melika. I think he he plays him and eventually I decided to go. I went with my father and brother, and it was just great because first of all. Remedy. Did a great job right I. Think he got Alaska or something, but other than that I just couldn't. Live. The notion that this is just simply you know Elliot from Mister Robot. That have. So I just couldn't let that. Go felt the same way. Yeah. So I didn't really feel it where he was. He was for. Democrat. But I got the story and I think what? The movie does really great that you just being reminded how, great? Quin. After after watching the movie like for the next week, I just heard Queen. Nonstop. So. Yeah. You've had the band. Yeah There definitely, one of the most interesting bands like there are just so talented in the music. So interesting I I really love him like every time I listen to a song. I have to listen to them for a couple of days What about you, Peter? On. differently. Sued of a the best of compilation fan..

Today, we're talking about the movie going experience I. Recently had an interesting talk about it with a friend, and she really hates going to the cinema, and I have to say like I found that I agree with a lot of the arguments that she made against going to the movies. And with all of the quarantine going right now like people might find out that they don't really miss going to the movies that much. So I really wanted to know what you guys think about it. I, think. I. Myself kind of Lean towards still liking going to the movies. But what do you think what I? What type of Cinema Goer, a year A. You the one earn leaguers on like the cheapest stay and get slight discount tickets will do you. Do you go like full out? Do you like or the sevice and get like one delivered to your really good Cinema Industry Oh. Yeah. Cinemas like it is like an arms race now for like how much alcohol they can with before we go and say. The latest Brad. Pitt. Maybe it's it's insane. New Cinema. It's cool to the rain rain square cinema in path. In. This sort of lobby which go into before the maybe starts and then a then they said, well, you can order stuff now. So you can order like Turkish bread and olives and dips and stuff, and then you can order stuff to bring with you into the cinema. So you can bring a beer wine spirits something like that, and then you can also order stuff that they'll bring to you cheering the movie. So you can like say all owl in can ring me like a cheeseburger or like with half an hour to go. Could you bring me? For something you convince me forget about this discussion. Absolutely, insane..

"No you don't use your phone but we want to use it. Okay I'll rotate now. They stunted address. You know main cooks whites on very very flattering. Well he's not fashion parade. I get it and everybody screams and shouts in the kitchen. So I took this away on. I reflected over the weekend trying to my wife and my two of my daughters who are in recruiting as well and on the Monday Tuesday. I went to the all the grove on a solid something last week on nothing. We need to change. If I'm going to change how we get people in we need to change and we did. And that's what made the difference so the first thing we did as there was an opportunity to put Wifi and all the kitchens and that was all to do with the fridges. And we have it. Here The monitoring all the fridges. So it's we have a gentlemen's agreement. You can have your phones. You can use your phones and because I realized people on phones you could find recipes recipes. you can full you know your parents and at your wife is amazing. What the IPHONE does nowadays and it wasn't me just thinking they're talking to the Gulf and all the time they use it? Taking pictures is snap Benson snapchat. Whatever it's called only so things of snapchat is a very good idea idea for social channel for the So realize how important that wall so as I said I allowed to use it and believe it or not. Ah I did say if I call you misused. made the whole of the kitchen will lose it well to be honest. Everybody uses a property and now that the finding recipes the finding new ideas coming up with it. They've got land notes on that. It's amazing it's really working weekends and late nights. This was a bit more of a challenge but I did go out to a couple of of agencies round with an interesting enough I found people who want to just what we can. They were slightly the elder brethren Who got families and whatever? Yeah who props Paul time at being a chef props hut children and wanted to get back a little bit part time and what I've yet I I found that these were brilliant workforce. They could work on their own Onda during the sandwiches the afternoon teas and all this sort of thing fantastic working late at night again. It was a matter of this working coming in at seven and still work until eleven o'clock at night. I forgot there was halfway in the day so we did a sort of a split shift. I found people who were getting up in the morning. NFL PEOPLE WHO don't get it in the morning. Who are better at night so there was A? Ah just by moving a couple of people around. You saw two to accommodate what they wanted on. I remember having somebody who won't ever wants to do earliest police. NFL IF I saw you want to do I have a position for you do an alias and actually it was one of the best things everyday because having somebody who could do uh early and be reliable Rodney getting a phone call saying there's no one turned up for breakfast items brilliant so there was a handful of them. People emerged especially as whites lights. I go to better contract to Washington Iron and Loan to the coach wants to make them look better. We got them in Apron with the Grove. Von Eight. Allow them if they wanted to wear. Black trousers could web trousers if I was supplying him. Then they'd wear the checks but no climb trousers. Nothing like that At the end of the day anita smalt I the all caps and whatever and the all run on military grounds grounds often. People say this is not the main. No it's not the grove but I run it like the army so get over it so I think all of those things changed changed the way I did business so my last three years at the Grove was made a lot easier because I had learned to just give now exactly why I don't have a problem or too much of a problem here because I can accommodate people on where and what they are. You know somebody who works till four o'clock will if the events eight diplock night. I need somebody in three hours before a problem before we would look at them people so again just by being a bit more flexible shouting. I don't do any shouting the days. Shouting was in the military. I don't need to shout you either want to come to work. You won't get paid or you don't if you don't then the door swings both ways so feel free You know going. I only want you here if you want to be a specimen because that's been the biggest shift culturally in the last five years in the kitchen is probably probably Ramsey asks more than military because you didn't have a film crew following you around. Probably you know he mutters. He's phenomenal shaft and he demonstrates you you do need that discipline. Flynn in the kitchen. Probably put a lot of people offer people to work with them actually stayed for years and I'm sure he wasn't as bad but the TV persona of via via the kind of Sheltie chef put a lot of people and it's not unreasonable. As much as we may bemoan the demands. I guess of the younger generation actually probably teacher. I think having some time to spend with your friends with your family and having a bit equality life is clearly the right while the law kitchens now going down to four weeks admittedly long days but four on three offs. Yeah it's good to hear that it's happening a all levels I guess any advice specific advice centre. Anybody just join to a close does but there is a challenge. I think certainly in our part of the world I speak to allow people in in general probably you then there is a challenge around motivating people able to come into the kitchen. But still you know it's a fascinating career full of opportunity. It means you can travel anywhere in the world and there's lots of plus sides. Is there anything you say to young people apart from. You can now have your phone. Would you still advise. I didn't even you. Would you a career as a chef in the kitchen is still a good idea yes it inasmuch as h h still hard work and if you're prepared To if you want to work out you know I mean the rewards brilliant As I mentioned earlier I mean the promotion is a lot of a lot easily structured. Did you can see way your next step as you know what you need to do. I'm the so many disciplines in being a chef out there so Whether it's a it's a skill ticket train fine dining restaurants in the stadium whether it's casual and whether it's in the U. K.. Around the world you the main you are going to be in high demand for a long time. People are going to need to eat for a long long long time. And if you can be be involved in that and again you know I mean. There's nothing better than being at the topic of food everybody can talk about. Everybody's gotten opinion about food. But it's brilliant that you Paul Paul of everybody's life for me here at Wembley being into closed at Wembley everybody comes in yet. They walked through the door to look at the football. But if I engage they see me one wandering around the past. The time of day we have a chat Nothing about football. It's all about the food and again. Just bring it all together is. That's what the game's all of our love. It is exciting lighting. I'm passionate about it and getting the next generation involved. I think I'm happy to talk to anybody about it. And I'm happy At the stadium here to show anybody what we do way open and transparent. Yeah it's hard work and I'm always looking for volunteers. I'm always looking for table coming to work at Wembley perfect. Well thank you for sparing the time to chat but I think more importantly thank you feed in the military for thirty four years in various guises as you know on behalf of the British public. That's an awesome thing we've done with your life but also you know really excited to disappear retire and now that you will keep in Wembley Stadium which is another conic part of Britain guesses in it so I will put a link to the website for.

"I don't really have to go very fall. I just put a bit of a twist to it and sometimes we were looking for some Croatian dishes and again you got to you know mean the help of Google and Internet whatever and Believe in our toll around the kitchen to Croatian chefs have got. We've got. They're working so they came up with a bit vis. Joe Joe and A dish that we use a halt Baltin. I mean it's amazing. He's round uneasily knows. You don't realize the skill set you've got if you've got two hundred fifty shafts that come into work here. The chances are you've covered nearly every of the food Varieties there is. They've all eaten something somewhere. True London is a great city for that and then your role is as the head up. All of this. Your certainly dressed as a chef. I can't imagine how you can Do that I suppose and not end up being sat behind a desk. What what is your role? What actually in town are you in the kitchens? How many cases do you say you had? Yeah about a dozen kitchens. We saw Live kitchens they. There's about one hundred. H One the boxers does a hundred sixty boxes all kitchen and there's old black kitchens prep kitchens. We've got about a dozen twelve about doesn't live. Kitchens ends McGoldrick kitchens in the chaos. So Yeah so you'll roll clearly is not sat behind a laptop to make this happen. And what are you actually realistically. Is it in the services it menu prep is it. Recruitment is all of the above. All of the above main. I am I refer to myself. I'm just cook at Wembley. Yeah not comes off the line from the Steven Seagal in In that film he's just the Cook on the shape us right and that's a bit what I am. I've we've got fingers in all pies and whatever we make go he still got to cook. I get involved. I get told off on many occasions. Because that's why I've got all the. Hf's that's why. I've got people to do it so I'm a bit light. The conductor in the orchestra I just Ryan bring things together. I do the fighting. I do the liaison. I just make. Sure the checks checks and balances of dawn. And I'm very much about bringing on the next generation of chefs. So I'm out there. Just watching what. You're doing my head chefs. I'm very indicate to bring them on if I'm doing it all the time then. They're not learning so I draw a doing it so they're doing the ordering of course his checks and balances. I'm sat right next to them. I'll see what's coming in. And they're learning 'cause they're all the head chest will all be Executive stadiums warm day and they need to be able to feel it so swap the main responsibilities round of one looking after the The restaurants one looking after the concessions another looking after the ancillaries is an old the the football team itself and the back of house an H.. H match they switch around and they try and learn a little bit Something something else on the outside trying to bring the The Stolz in all the food in Making equipments right in the right place and working with my back of of House. I tend to be more of that and make sure they've got everything they require to be able to deliver the job and then on the day once we got everything set up. I get get round and visit table coaches much as I can. I love chatting to guess I try and get all the restaurants and if we got a complaint some somewhere on we'll have a complaint somewhere I go and find out what's going wrong. How can make your life better my jobs here to make your life A May your experience as best we can and if we haven't donate what do we do wrong and can I do to make it right and I find that if you you get straight onto it. I'm not shy. I'm quite happy if you get straight onto it and getting sold out the The guests and the members are really good. They're really early on the stand and actually I get on with them very well to the extent one or two of our dishes in three or four of our dishes of come from members of say or do you think we could have that. And I'd like to see this. We have an event called changing room. Dinner where they get forty members over four nights needs to come into the changing rooms and we set up a restaurant. I is one of the perks of being the members they come in there and we do a menu of something that we're going served on the next next game so they've got first taste tendency. What's going on? I suppose I gave it to him to try it out. I don't get any complaints lanes on. I've got away with it if if the turned the nose. Republican officer changed around a little bit. So they're my guinea pigs but it gives them an opportunity to I have a An inside what's going on. I got the chance to talk to them. Find out what the during what they lie. Which is the best restaurant wise at work in? This isn't working at the only conversation we don't discuss these football Because they're gonNA get forty minutes. Whatever it is out there quite soon? Yeah Yeah and you're much more comfortable talking about food anyway so absolutely well avoided. Can you cook on that level of skeletal people would presume that took at that level. You've got. Compromise is on the sustainability food. I suppose the sourcing of food that how much prep you can do in house and how much is is kind of impressed. Can you still follow the seasons and buy from kind of circle suppliers. Yes is the answer I think you've got to go with with what you can get so when and you're looking for I don't know we're doing lamb racks and I'm doing two thousand lamb racks. That's a lot to ask from BOCCIA round the corner who hunt feeds is lungs and I mean is the best ethical Lami Gate and is Britain. You mean breast milk in it so of You know in the top of the trade well ECON provide meet up so I've got to go a little bit wide up so rather than an evening to to a county. A county called do that now. So those numbers. Now we're talking about English lamb and in fact. I think this year is going to be even harder. We're going to have to talk about British lamb now which delighted with anything British Great British. I'm delighted that's what I want to deliver it here. Simple food cooked well. And if he's British ah even the better On the season from I think the stroll risen example. Hang we have strawberries on on every menu on whether it's winter spring summer autumn because we can get them and people see that as as so an opulent part of their meal if they can have strawberries and cream. They'll be services a guard natio- STROZ drink some well on the line so we can get strawberries all all year round. I do try but maybe more so comfort food. Warm food towards the end of the a year when it's colder Nemo Lighter Spring Food Alva- asparagus an example to use asparagus. When he say ah top of the tree and affordable so yes when we can and we can get it then we'll use it and we've got all my suppliers are outstanding? They all they do understand the the depth on the detail. The I need to go into and I have a conversation before every game with HMO supplies saying This is how we do. Go out to suppliers applies. Who will prepare some of my tureens unpartisan? Things are that because the amount I need and as you know yourself with the hassle up and with the health and safety of the whole lot a just ties you into a lot of you trying to produce in. Keep all the paperwork in in a straight line so by going out to the suppliers they the supplies coming in that somebody would with way swap recipes. They a little bit of there will be a mine lying and we've come to a compromise. Can you do me these. Can you do me. You know main two thousand McCain Pat all the same size all the same and so yeah I think working with the suppliers making insurance as ethical as as ECON Babe. I'm the first to jump up and down. It doesn't look right and doesn't smell like I don't want Tanabe chickens. I won't British chicken and I know the difference and the supplies. No I know so an fruit and veggies I feel for the fruit and vegetable. AH SUPPLIERS GOES. The weather is not been kind to a toll in the fruit and vegetable department so we sometimes after go further afield. Yeah I mean some peppers and things like that to get from Spain and Italy just just not happening over this neck of the woods. I'm so yeah I think there's a there's a a passion and drive to use a local use traceable food and Unethical food I think that's alive to do on also helps a story The one I'm talking to our guests and now At members when the here I want to talk about what lambs come from mates. Nice salt marsh lamb as the SOLTA comes off the onto the grass and on their eight. Nate you just makes that damn the difference in that lamb and easy to coke. He's better to present and it's just so succulent when the reading it and it's nice to know about story of how it all comes together. Yeah it's nice to know that can be done at scale I was with Do you know who got there yet. Because I was with Becker early China from from hawks more and he was the even at their level. The scale that they've got to he'd phone his local butcher because he tries to buy as much as possible direct from the farms but even his level when he founds ends up in the east. I know we can't do it. We're not interested in. I can imagine if you say how. It's Harry for Wembley Stadium and I've got. I need a couple of bits for Saturday that they must please the supply. You Yup Yup okay fine so Anita two thousand Salaam racks obvious frozen and cannot stop giving you six months out. Yeah no that's not what again about so all the supplies out that first. First of all a cabinet suppliers straightway. Start to narrow it down to what you can do and but yeah I like a story behind food well. We'll come back to that again because I'm interested from from the military perspective in this way because getting food to Wembley Stadium must be a challenge. But how you get food to attend in Afghanistan. There's another story but we'll give that some context in a minute so your career to you know to be able to achieve the numbers that you talk about and yet just at at that level of complexity. I suppose I've spoken to Alexander Michelin Star Chef and one of the things that really appealed to him about the kitchen. From being Soviet young lad was is that what he referred to as that military style management indication because it needed.
