Federal Prosecutors Reveal Proud Boys Witness Was Informant

"Here, we're finding out that on Thursday, there was a, yeah, yesterday. Okay, so there was an emergency motion from the defense and the council of one of the Proud Boys named Zachary real. Their court case states that the government waited until Wednesday. March 22nd to tell the court and the defense that one of the defense's witnesses has been a confidential human source. In other words, a spy, since April 2021 through at least January 2023. Or since the beginning of the case, through the start of the trial. And the defense didn't know it. That this person is a confidential human source. So it could have been a friend of Zachary Rio that is the FBI flipped, but he is a confidential human source. So basically telling them what's happening on the defense's side. This is your government. March 22nd, Wednesday was the day before the confidential human source. I'm just going to call spy for now. Our CHS has that. Was scheduled to testify for the defense. So this person was supposed to testify yesterday. Julie Kelly, great reporter. I'm sure you've heard from her, she is on Twitter. And I highly recommend you follow her. Julie underscore line Kelly and the number two. So Julie Kelly number two. And she follows this stuff amazingly. She wrote, prosecutors knew back in December. That the defense planned to call this person as a witness and the individual continued to work as an informant spying on the defense during trial prep. So knew what they were going to say knew what the case was new at the defense was that they were going to present and relaying that to the prosecution.

"A state visit to France by Britain's King Charles the third has been postponed indefinitely amid widespread protests over president Emmanuel Macron's pension reforms. The move puts a damper on the new monarch's appearance on the international stage, Charles will still travel to Germany on Wednesday in what was scheduled to be the second leg of his first overseas trip since ascending the throne in September. The original 6 day visit to France and Germany, the two biggest countries in the EU was designed to highlight efforts to rebuild relations between Britain and its neighbors after 6 years of squabbling over Brexit by the prospect of Charles being confronted by protesters and piles of garbage in the streets of Paris, has forced officials in France and Germany to rethink their plans. AP source: Trump grand jury hearing other matters Thursday

"Donald Trump's case may not be heard today by a Manhattan grand jury, but the panel is still at work. There's been a big spotlight on court proceedings and security in Manhattan, with a grand jury likely soon to be asked if former president Trump should be indicted in a hush money case. Wednesday was a day off. But now an inside source says there appears to be another pause. That person says the grand jury will be hearing other cases. And it's not clear when prosecutors might resume presenting evidence before the panel, or when they might ask the group for a decision about bringing criminal charges. I'm Jackie Quinn

Ram Ahluwalia Catches Us Up on Credit Suisse

"Where I want to start is sort of a little bit of a catch up on Credit Suisse. And so maybe first, we could talk a little bit about what happened over the last week. We're recording this on Monday. I think that's extremely important for people to know, because I think it'll come out on Wednesday and who knows what will transpire in the next 48 hours between them. But I think it would be really helpful to have sort of a short primer to help ground us in terms of understanding how much the things going on with Credit Suisse were credits we specific versus symptomatic of larger problems. And so maybe if we could kind of just start with, you know, what happened with Credit Suisse, you know, what the resolution was, and then maybe we can try to understand and piece through what the causality was. Sure thing. So let me frame it up. UBS and CS were the two top wealth managers in Switzerland, CES, sometime around September, October of last year, their share price took a dive as kind of floating around $3 or so. And the main issues there were around arca ghost, which was a hedge fund blew up that creditors had lending exposure to. And then also just a litany of issues around CS and compliance and open litigation around that. Now, fast forward to call it the last one or two weeks, CS started experiencing runs on the bank. They had deposit flight and the regulators were trying to broker some kind of transaction with UBS and CS was also in a parallel path looking to raise equity capital. So their largest shareholder, which is Saudi Arabia, declined to invest more than their 10% ownership interest in CS. They share that news, I believe it was Thursday of last week. And the reveal of that news caused further loss of confidence in CS and accelerator with the roles. So that was the principle event. That really accelerated the demise of CS. So what happened yesterday, there is an announcement that UBS will be acquiring select parts of credit Swiss.

"Manhattan prosecutor's postponed a scheduled grand jury session Wednesday in the investigation into Donald Trump and told them to be on standby for Thursday. That's according to four people familiar with the matter and it slows the decision whether to charge Donald Trump. The Manhattan DA is investigating hush money payments to stormy Daniels during his 2016 presidential campaign. It's not the payments, but the accounting that could bring an indictment from the grand jury, which does not need a unanimous vote, while the proceedings are supposed to be secret, some witnesses like Michael Cohen, a Trump opponent and bob Costello a supporter, have spoken out about their testimony. Reparations May Be Given to Blacks in California

"During his now infamous trial, January 6th defendant, Jacob chansley, AKA the Q shaman, faced some very hefty sentences. These included a 5 year prison sentence and a fine of up to $250,000. In law, such fines are levied as a form of restitution in order to compensate for costs such as damaged property, medical bills, resulting from personal injury, or even to pay an opponent's legal fees. The concept of reparations is that it is a form of punishment that can also help to repair the damage that was done by the accused. It's important to note, the government can not find you with reparations out of the blue. You have to be guilty of a crime. It's good the Chancellor wasn't ultimately hit with the full amount as a quarter of a million dollars for most people can't be raised easily. People work their entire lives and still can't save that much money. It's such a large amount that even someone as gullible as judge Lambert, a man who genuinely believed the Q shaman was somehow the breath from destroying America's democracy forever. Thought the penalty was overkill. Lately, there's been another shaman in the news, only this shaman has two ends, shaman Walton is a member of the San Francisco board of supervisors. A body which voted unanimously last Wednesday to approve a plan to give $5 million to every eligible black resident as part of the city's plan to make reparations for slavery. The plan was a way to go before final approval, like every other member of the board, shaman Walton wants to see it through. He says, quote, we have to stay focused and stay together as a community, he says. Because now it is a 100% more prevalent that we can not be separated or divided. Let's stay the course. Because a $5 million payday for me is almost here. It might be pertinent to point out that shaman Walton himself is black. And something also tells me he will be included among those deemed eligible for the payout.

Grand Jury to Hear Another Witness Before Possible Trump Indictment

"News is reporting that the indictment will not happen today that there is another witness to go before the grand jury on Wednesday tomorrow. And so now the talk is that this may not happen until next week. I want to suggest that the former president has once again gotten so deep inside the heads of his opponents. They are spitting they are seething. This is the moment that they wanted to see. They have long dreamed of this president being led in handcuffs somewhere. I have a longtime friend. He's a very good person. He's just horribly misguided politically, but he has often talked about, well, this is the thing, right? They're going to go to The White House when Trump was in office. They're going to go to The White House. They're going to lead him out in cuffs. They just can not possibly get past the hatred they have for this individual. Simply because he had the audacity to support the American people and put government back in the hands of the people as opposed to the swamp monsters in Washington. This is all about power, and so they are going to try to misuse prosecutorial power to have him indicted. Well, again, the prosecutor there is a political hack. He ran on a campaign of saying, I'll get Trump even though others haven't.

If found to have lied deliberately, he could be suspended, or even lose his seat in parliament in a dossier of written evidence, Johnson acknowledged rules and guidance had been followed at all times, but did not turn out to be correct. But or vex says next week could bring some issues. It looks like we may have a more significant storm affect California Tuesday and Wednesday with the potential for some additional heavy snows throughout this year. "Wednesdays and to some of your questions about your lawn, your landscaping the bugs and the vermin that are bothering you. Hey bob, how are you? Welcome back to the show. Thanks, John. How are you? I'm good. Any ballpark piece of advice relative to the weather or the calendar that we should know or be doing in our yards these days? Well, the hot humid weather is really got the disease is running rampant. Dollar spot seems to be the most prevalent one that I see right now. It looks small yellow patches and then they'll call us into one big round patch. But they're about the size of the silver dollar, hence the name dollar spot. That's your line you're talking about. It's in the turf. And then you'll see let me get a lot of calls about birch trees. Dropping a bunch of leaves. But that's normal. That's their natural way of saving energy. So they just drop please. So they don't have to feed as many of the leaves. No kidding. Don't panic. It's mostly on birch trees. What about those spots on the lawn? Should I, what was your advice about that last week? Did you say that the lawn will outgrow it? You don't have to do anything. You can, sometimes it's indicative of low fertility or compaction in the soil. But if the kids really bad, you want to put a fungicide on it. But for the most part, over time, if you water and fertilize properly, that will grow itself out. It's not damaging the roots. You said fertility twice now in the last two weeks about grass. What does that mean? Well, you want to make sure you fertilize your lawn four times a year, minimum. Minimum two. And if you can't only do one, the best time to do it is in the fall. But do you want to put down and this is, I don't want to get too technical, but do you want to put down about four pounds of nitrogen a year on your turf. That's a good feeding. Four pounds per square foot or four. I'm sorry, for a 1000 ft². Four pounds per 1000 ft², and I guess the amount of nitrogen in a bag of fertilizer is measure is noted on the side of the bag. I can kind of figure that out. Right, there's three numbers on the bag. The first number is the nitrogen. Okay, and I want four pounds of that per 1000 ft². How big is an average? For the season and how big is an average yard? Anywhere from a 1000 ft² to ten acres. That's about what we maintain somewhere in between there. I bought some rolls Assad the other day, bob, 'cause I'm still trying to go some spots and some spots where I can't seem to grow grass is trying to grow some grass, so I just thought, well, heck, I'll go buy some Mossad. So I found some and some of them seem to be better than others, but when I was rolling them out on the dirt there, I thought, ah, maybe I should put some fertilizer under the sod, so those roots will have it right then and there. But I didn't. What are your thoughts about that? What do you put down before you roll out the sod? You put down a slow release fertilizer, but definitely to your point, you want to put it down before you put the grass down because if you put it on over the top because you forgot, that's going to be too much to plants won't be able to take it up and you could actually burn it out pretty quickly. Well, maybe I'll just roll it back up, throw some down there and then roll it back down. What do you think of that? That's probably the best solution. And should I really work that soil up like the dirt that's going to go on? Should that be loose and even like as if I were going to plant grass seeds? Yes. Good two to three inches because you have to remember that stock came from the shot farm. And when they cut it, they cut the roots. So right now the plant's saying, okay, what's going on here? And that would prefer to get into something like a soft seed bed. So the soft top so underneath will help it rode itself. Linda zone with bob Bertha, you're on WGN radio Linda. How can we help you? Hi, I had a question. I put that here and there in my yard rolls. And some of it took off wonderful and I did work up the dirt and I did a word peat moss into the dirt, but one piece of my side, part of it is green and then I've got two patches of like a brown area. And I'm wondering, should you cut that out and just put dirt in there with grass seed? Or is that stuff going to come back to life, bob? It depends. It sounds like if it's too small or patches, it sounds like a dog might have gotten in there. Well, we do have, we do have two male dogs, but to be honest, they don't pee on that area. They actually go to another spot in the backyard and do their peen. Easiest thing to do since it all blends together instead of trying to introduce grass seed now because you're going to have to water the saddle a lot more than you will see. It's just cut that patch out. Go get another roll aside in fill it in with that. Okay. All right, then thank you. Yeah, good luck. We've done that before too. Nancy, you're on WGN. "Get a tragedy that we've never done 40. Okay. Hope that's Wednesdays at, uh, just nation. That's Wednesdays at the watchman. Call it we miss out on a lot of opportunities, but a drug Arabo live porn Yoke night might be the biggest one of all. As it was made for us. It is It's karaoke, uh, with graphic pornography shown in the background at, uh, Mermaid Tavern. Uh, no, Pegasus. That's it. I always get those two confused. Have you done it? Yeah, Yeah. I mean, what is what is? How does that work? I mean, is it Does it really just add a fun vibe? Or can it be distracting? Because I just feel because from what I understand, it's not just a couple TV showing porn right behind you where you're doing Karaoke. The entire wall has porno being projected onto it. So you're you could be standing in the middle of The situation. Oh, we got a breaking showbiz death. By the way, it's totally immersive. There's porn everywhere, like like it's It's port everywhere. Wow, this is there's a big death going to give it to an hour after the break, Um Can I give you my horrible impression of him? Yeah. Well, it looks like this guy was doing this thing over here, and I got a weird delivery and a lot of people really like my comedy, But I just kind of talk real weird. And then I emphasize old I'm somewhat old. I died at the age of, uh, live action. Dead guy like it. Yeah. So, um, uh, at the age of 61 61. Okay. Your private battle of cancer Do any. Uh, did you do any movies? Yeah, I did a couple of movies. Not so not so successful movies. But I, uh I'm going to talk like this a little bit, you know, Say some controversial things. Uh, are you Um Still let us stand up was on a on a show called Saturday Night Live from 93 to 98. Maybe you heard of it. I do an impression of Burt Reynolds. And nor McDonald is dead. What 61 years old? Oh, that is shocking. I told you Oh, I didn't expect to be shocked. I didn't Did you know he had cancer? No. He had been battling cancer for nearly a decade, but was determined to keep his health struggles. Private away from family, friends and fans. Oh, my God, I get it. Believe me, I totally get it. His longtime partner. Producing partner and friend Lori Joe Hooks, Tre said, quote. He was proud of his comedy most proud of his comedy. He never wanted the diagnosis to affect the way the audience or any of his loved ones saw him. Norm was a pure comic. He wrote. Once that a joke should catch someone by surprise, it should never pandered. Oh, man I like nor McDonnell did too. I thought it was very, very funny man. That's a bummer. Frickin cancer. 7 to 7. 579125 In 807 711025. Mm. Man. That's the way I saw it on Twitter. I was like there's no way that's true, but So Is that what I guess if you have, if you're somebody who's battling with cancer, it's everything is on you what you want to do, But you know there when when somebody dies, There's always that. Well, did you did they know they were sick? And I don't know if being prepared Makes a difference. But I would be curious to know how many people in his life or completely sideswiped by this if he if he is truly kept it quiet and right or wrong, But there is a difference between knowing somebody is sick and dying. And then all of a sudden, somebody just being dead. Um, from what? I'm reading here that he kept his diagnosis from his friends and his family. I, um I get the feeling not too many, like Hardly anybody knew. Yeah, and I, um I don't blame him because that's not that's not about Him like if you're let's say you're nor McDonald's close friend, and somehow you didn't know that he had cancer, because obviously he's been sick and you think today. Well, why wouldn't he tell me? Why didn't he tell me? I mean, that's really that's you. That's not about him. That's about you, right. And if you feel like you deserve to know, then If you feel like you would rather have known there's nothing wrong with that. You can wish that He would have told you if you feel like you deserve to know her that he did you a disservice. You're wrong, And it's it's his choice to make because then you're you are you are worrying about your comfort and over his Because because I mean, I'm sure I don't think that's far fetched to say Hey, if I know you've got cancer, and you're battling it for three years or however long and then you know, we all know what might be at the end of the tunnel. That's one thing. It's another thing when Maybe you've kind of become reclusive over the past couple years, And then all of a sudden you're dead. I mean, as far as being able to digest it, write it. It's very shocking to find out something like this. But I respect it. Because Norm didn't want to make that the focus of his career or his life. He just wanted to entertain and I hope that he had, uh, support system of people around him who he could vent to in those dark times because I'm sure there were some But I, um I fully get.

"Just kind of on a concierge basis so trying to be as helpful authentic for you know. Whoever i'm working with. Give them the opportunity to really showcase their stories or their ideas on whatever it may be in the most genuine way possible so that it really reflects to them and not. Just you know another cookie-cutter idea that you know we're just pushing out. Make sure that it reflects them in that. They're really happy with it. First and foremost. It's so huge. It makes little happens. I'm curious maybe in what kind of obstacles you face by building your own brand in that sense. I'm sure right. it wasn't easy to you. Wake up one morning and say hamed started the company where they must so much up to that. Honestly there's a lot less leading up to it than i think i should have done. i just kind of got around like i know what i bring to the table in my skills. I know that you know. I have some somewhat of a network in a reputation for being and being in sports that you can kind of rely on. But it's definitely not the backbone of it. I think it's gonna be something. I'm going to have to continue to work on but for me. It was about like getting the foundation of the business setup so that all of my eyes are got mike shuster across so that when i do go in to work with people all of that stuff is taken care of the invoicing and all that stuff is real easy and then i just really knew that what i wanted to do was going to really rely on like how i like to help people. In my approach to being really athlete forward or team or whatever that may be an keeping not at the forefront night if at all Fell together after that. But you know it hasn't been that long there's going to be a lot of know roads ahead where have to keep pushing through finding more clients annan. The other big thing is it's not really like something that exists so there's definitely like marketing agencies. There's creatives that you can hire for videography for graphics and stuff. And i'm kind of covering all of that as well. As outsourcing when necessary. I don't claim to be able to do everything so you know building that that rolodex of really good photographers and videographers. That i can set up for for workout photo shoots and stuff like that from projects but you know really trying to get. All of that organized has been you know something work on. Its well outsourcing. Delegating does is super important skills slowing shuttle because you have so many skills in this industry right our listeners. If you haven't listened to part one yet go back because obviously the breakdown but can you kind of give us a little bit of a recap of what because there's so many of them in. There's so many different roles cleaning up to where you are now on. What was some of those skills you picked up. That have been out. Imagine invaluable to ya. I mean also went to school for journalism so the general writing pr Stuff media training is there. Then i'm done play by play videography for news. Sports done graphic designs or she media management. What else. I don't even know i think at some plan promptly touched everything. A little bit sideline reporting. And so i think one those give me really good perspectives on how to work with other people you know what type of things. I can ask photographers. So that i'm not asking them for too much or or things that aren't possible. And also like deadlines not like ask for video to be edited within like two hours like there's realistic expectations. Because i've been in that position. And i know edit videos. So i think that's kind of the biggest advantage skills is not necessarily knowing how to do all of them but it helped me a better player so we point to have that background..

"Do. Wednesdays with Willie just said. We told him we couldn't talk to him today because we have a snow emergency, he said his palatial doublewide in Florida and said Ha ha ha. That was his response back pretty much. Thank you. Let's get another weather report from our weather partner. Cherie Yu's from Wcpo nine news. Sherry was this a surprise that this kind of jump out of nowhere? Did you weigh all? Did you guys gonna see this coming? Yeah, no way. All saw not the burst of snow that we just got over the 2 75 loop That is kind of like just exacerbated Dutilleux again, more moisture ringing out in the atmosphere and are very cold temperatures. However, we were calling for a nine first warning of whether alert day since yesterday. Knowing that we were going to see a little bit more snow a couple more inches as well as the potential for some light icing, and we're seeing that right now play out. And Sherry. I mean, you can either confirm or deny this, um, seeing some folks on on Twitter, saying essentially, with all the snow that's happening all throughout Ohio, Cincinnati is actually the worst. We literally got. The worst of it. Is that correct? Well, you know what? Right now it does look like the setup has been, you know, probably most impactful for us a zoo. We continue to see We're right on the cusp of the lying there. So areas to the north like Dayton and Columbus. They haven't seen what we've seen in the last 48 hours. We just happened to be in that zone right now, where the weather has been just kind of Reigning over us due to the system to the south that are tracking more south but sending the moisture up. Just not the word. We're seeing it over the Ohio River Valley in the Miami Valley there, so yeah, we're still in it. And we're going to continue to see some of this weather through tonight. And then we should start to see it. Break. What? Before tomorrow. What are we looking at here in the next? I know it Z rough trade to try to predict something a week from now, But is it going to trend better than has been absolutely shocked? You know what? Yeah, it's so funny because a lot of folks always say Oh, we never get anything and never comes our way. Just always never. And this is us. But That's not the case this time around. We are also looking at another big potential for around Monday into Tuesday of.

You have never heard you talk about the junior so much. Yeah. Was fabulous. But the only good thing for the United States over the past 24 hours. What was a glorious moment last night was absolutely Were you even on the air today, Mark No. We stayed with the network all day long. We will have a 10 o'clock newscast. Tonight. We'll have a little bit of sports. Talking about the Bears and Andrew Shaw. Fan favorite in your face. Guy is back. And he was very funny today, so hopefully we can provide a little bit of alternative programming just like I'm gonna try to do for the next half hour, right? Right. It's I'm sure, though, it's tough to live in the newsroom. It's been tough for me all day today. Like I don't get me wrong. I love my job. I'm not an expert on anything that's going on in the real world today. That's what we tend to stay in our lane. But it's just like I said to Michael, I said this to black during the break. I'm just is down as I can remember today. It's just frustration and anger. I'm just absolutely horrified. This is one of the most surreal. Just insane. Days in American history. Let's move on to run a tab. Pick on cash. He seems to want to know what's going on. Guys obviously had nothing to talk about yesterday proposing a boxing match between wasn't me. The defendant reserves waiting like that one? No, I thought it was good stuff. How did this all start He? I'll play this for you. He violated what I believe is a code. Now Look, you're a guy I grew up watching. I got to shadow for you a day in middle school. I got to intern for you like I am always in the kitchen bothering, right? I've tainted his life. He's picked up your laundry. Yes, absolutely. His foot long sandwich? Yes. Never. I never made you pick up my dry cleaning or wash my car. Unlike timeshare on hey, actually wanted one of our interns to do that, and car. Our intern happen to be some big ex football player who put him up against the wall and set him straight. But he he just he made you sound like my Oh, well, you see, First of all, he did violate the code, and he was acting like this is some kind of secret breaking news that he has some insight to And I thought you just put it up as a poll question just for laughs, and my response was going to be look, I'm in the worst shape of my life right now. I'm not getting any younger. It's ridiculous to talk about. Be fighting another guy in the business, even if it's to raise money for charity. It's not people laughing with us. It's people laughing at us. It would be don't want to see absurd. It would be a joke. But after hearing that all you have to kick his ass, let's get the Rocky beautiful out. I mean, have you see the guy is just jealous. And Yeah. I mean, I've been taking pay cuts since 2008 because the salad days are over. But I'm thankful for what I'm making, And I think I deserve whatever I make. I think you do tell. I think you're underpaid. Whatever. It's a shame these were made to. So what if you could for the twitched twitched out TV slash ESPN 1000. If you could go over and by the way, proved that that is not a rug. By the right thing. Pull on it.
