Kentucky lawmakers struggle to finish transgender bill
"The Kentucky Senate has until the end of today to complete work on a GOP bill restricting gender affirming care for minors. Man, 4 children die in a fire at a northwest Phoenix condo
"A deadly condominium fire in Arizona claimed the lives of two additional victims, Phoenix fire department officials announced over the weekend that 11 year old Tamar and 9 year old savage died at a hospital from fire related injuries, two more victims of a fire in northwest Phoenix last Wednesday night that also killed their father 52 year old Shimon Boyer and two younger children, fire officials said the father was pronounced dead at the scene, the victims were found in their beds, three of the four children had disabilities, no smoke detectors were found inside the condominium by our officials are looking into the cause. She was kind of goth. And dressed in all black, the whole deal. And I get home. And I'm 15. I'm still scared of girls. I mean, I'm kind of still scared of girls today, but at that age, especially. And I call her and, you know, didn't have cell phones. It's the rotary house phone type of deal. And I said, hey, I said, I know this is going to seem weird. And I knew she was an atheist. She was very open about being an atheist. I said, I know it's going to seem weird, but I was at this thing and this guy said this and your name popped in my head and I just want to know if there's any I can pray for you about. You know, I stumbled through that somehow. And she just gets quiet. She goes, what day was that? And I can hear like a little bit of a quiver in her voice. And I said, it was Wednesday. She just loses it. And, you know, I don't know what to do. You know, I got somebody the opposite sex on the line crying, and I have no idea how to fix it right now. And I said, I said, what's going on? She goes, what time? And I said, I don't know, there's probably 8 30. And it's just silence. And finally, I go, what's going on? It's the latest sign that a technology slump is deep in the reduction is concentrated in the firm's corporate ranks. Earlier, we spoke with Bloomberg tech reporter Spencer soper. This is like a little more than a percent of their overall workforce granted. Most of that workforce are warehouse workers who move inventory around and this 18,000 is going to come out of the corporate workers. It's largely going to be its most mature part of its business. It's interesting that they acknowledge that they hired too many people during the pandemic, so when we see these cuts now, is it because of falling demand or that they just think they hire too many managers and they don't need them. Yeah, it's part of laying leveling off and it's also the fact that because things leveled off, Amazon is always hired like crazy. And generally when they decide that they don't need a team, they've always been able to kind of absorb people within some other new division that's doing well are growing. And so that's not the case now. So the rare thing here is that they had to resort to a layoff. Bloomberg Czech reporter Spencer soper, the job cuts are the biggest yet for tech companies in the current slowdown. Dell is reportedly planning to stop using semiconductors made in China by 2024. Then he says that Dell also told suppliers to significantly reduce the amount of other components produced in the country. The move is part of the company's efforts to diversify its supply chain amid concerns over U.S. China tensions. Meantime, China's services activity contracted at a slower pace in December. The tsien services PMI was 48 last month that was not as steep as November's 46.7 and it did beat the estimate of 46.8. Japan will allow flights from Hong Kong and Macau to land at any airport in the country now. That partially reverses a rule it implemented last week for both areas and Mainland China that restricted arrivals to four major airports. According to the telegram channel general SVR, which purports to be run by a former Russian spy. It's the latest health scare for Putin, wow. I mean, that could upend the whole Ukraine crisis. If he's filled with cancer and he's falling down the steps and soiling himself, it ain't good. That's not good.

Coast Guard rescues man overboard on Carnival cruise
"A cruise ship passenger who was missing for hours is found alive in the Gulf of Mexico. The coast guard says the 28 year old man was last seen Wednesday night and was rescued on Thanksgiving night. Carnival cruise line says the man was with his sister at a bar on the carnival valor at 11 p.m. Wednesday. He went to use the bathroom and never returned. His sister reported a missing the next day. A cargo ship saw a person in the water about 20 miles south of Southwest pass Louisiana and the mouth of the Mississippi River after the man was hoisted into a helicopter at about 8 30 Thursday night. No backpacks, no gathering in large groups during high school football games in Montgomery county, and students from schools not playing in the game they're attending will have to be within adult chaperone. Why? Director of athletics from Montgomery county schools Jeffrey Sullivan. The students that have been participating in actions that are in direct conflict with our raised core values have been from schools that are not the two schools playing on that night. Now that's the closest that school officials in Montgomery county have come to explaining what caused the fights at a game between northwest and Gaithersburg football teams Friday night. The football operations at both schools remain suspended for now. Kate Ryan. Meantime, we've seen a spike in arrests among Alexandria middle and high school students. The data will be presented to the city school board tomorrow. These are arrests on school grounds, 26 students arrested between January and June of this year compared to 20 late last year. It's everything you know. There's been a lot of press lately from one of the stories on the show. You're the biggest store, but Theresa who are she's everywhere lately? She's got a new boyfriend, Louis and there in the New York Post. Therese Yeah, wait. I mean, every day, don't you think that you're the only two people that ever fell in love, but God bless him. They seem to be doing well. And we know of course, Corps history with Joe. So I think our fans going to see a softer side of Theresa this season because of that, they want to see that. That's this is the top It effects you know, in terms of an actual psychological disorder effects of very small number of people, and yet it seems like this topic has dominated. The news has dominated political discourse. I gave us speech actually at the University of Missouri Kansas City couple years ago, called men are not women and other uncomfortable truths and I was attacked at the speech. E was screamed at by all these people, and then someone actually jumped in and tried to attack me. Now I think it's very easy for conservatives to just throw up our hands and say, Man, he's left us to completely insane. They can't even admit that men are not women. And it's very easy for leftists who believe in this ideology to say that not only are we wrong, but we're really vile, wicked people if we're so cruelly going to deny the lived experience of some poor guy who thinks that he's actually woman trapped inside a man's body. And you know, we never really seem to talk to one another. We just have our own positions, and they seem completely irreconcilable. I actually think it is worth listening to the arguments that the gender ideologues make Because it shows you that this this idea that men could be women and women could be meant It didn't just spring out of the air. One day it didn't just pop into existence. You know a couple of years ago or something like that. This has been building for years and years and decades and decades and actually this transgender radiology. Comes naturally from the left longstanding opinions on sex, gender. Biology nature itself. There's a video that's gone viral on Tic Tac. I'm not a member of Tic tac myself, but you see these things go around the Internet, and it's a guy who's wearing very over the top sort of clownish makeup. You know, Red eye Shadow and He's got big lipstick on and very curly blond hair, and one imagines. He's a sort of Some form of transgender person, But he's definitely definitely guy. And he's arguing that certain feminists are really wrong and violent bone headed for believing that men cannot identify as women and well, his argument doesn't make any sense by the standard of reality. When you compare his argument to other arguments, the left makes He's not totally wrong. Before I get some turfs up in my comment sections being like women means adult human female. First off you second of all. Y'all don't even know your family's history. Second wave feminism was about relieving women from their reproductive roles and duties. It's regressive to reclaim female as this like in And I'll be all term for what womanhood is like, literally know your history. Feminism was not About that feminism was about alleviating Thies gender roles and general duties based on reproductive capability. It was about getting rid of it. And that's why feminism belongs to us queers and trans people now because It began us off half turfs. When he's referring to church by the way, he's referring to what's called trans, exclusive, exclusionary radical feminists that basically women who think that women are actual group of people and men can't be women. The thing is, this guy is almost entirely correct about second wave feminism. There's a famous debate between Betty Free Dan The very famous American feminist and Simone de Beauvoir, the French feminist and strumpet of jumble. Sartre in which free dances well, women can do whatever they want, right and c'mon, divorces. No, we can't let women stay home and raise a family because if they have that choice, they'll take it and we need to force women out into the working world. So much of second wave feminism was about Convincing women that there was no special category of femininity that actually, if women wanted to matter and have value they needed to take on male roles and responsibilities, they had to hold themselves up to male standards, and that basically the only legitimate virtues were male virtues. Why they a lot of these activists said. Now forget about your kids. Forget about your family. You need to go out. You need to go work. You need to go drinking. You need to treat sex the same way Men treat sex. Because the the idea here while so many conservatives say, you know, third wave feminism. The new feminism is really wrong. But second wave was okay. First week was really good. Maybe the problem is just feminism itself. Maybe the problem is that the feminist ideology Posits that there's no difference between men and women. Men and women are maybe you know, they look a little different. I got a few different organs. But there's no significant difference between men and women. And what this guy this gender ideologue is saying is okay. Feminists. I believe you. There's no difference between men and women. So then I who am a man, my biology. Everything about me.
