Belmont Apartment Building Evacuated for ‘Structural Concerns’
"Of residents are out of a home. They were evacuated from a seven storey apartment building yesterday afternoon over fears the condo could collapse. It's an old building, so you know, I just felt like had they been on top of it For all these years, we wouldn't be here. Delta Variant Suspected in Provincetown Covid-19 Cluster
"More problems emerging in Provincetown, the State Health Department has now tied 430 covid cases to a cluster in P town. Some of those cases are linked to the highly contagious delta variant for Covid. WBZ TV Space Tomato spoke to some vacationers who are taking extra special precautions. Family is off to Provincetown from Boston Seaport for the town's annual family week of activities. But this time around, they thought more about their travel plans. We've heard a lot of talk about the increased cases, but we're more focused on going to the beach spending time with just the family that we're seeing with increased cases of Covid 19 in Provincetown. Which the Department of Public Health and now confirms some of the more than 250 are linked to the highly contagious delta variant. They are on our phones. Um so they're all photographed ready to go travelers with vaccination cards at the ready as some establishments will require them and we called the hotel wanted to make sure there was any changes that we need to know about just to protect ourselves or anyone else going to the hotel. And they were just requiring vaccination cards, families attending family, We have to sign a waiver that they'll follow CDC guidelines and Children have to wear masks both indoors and out, and the health department says the vast majority of the covid 19 cases there are called breakthrough cases involving people who are fully vaccinated.

Police Kill Gunman Who Crashed Stolen Truck, Fatally Shot Two Bystanders
"Off and Winthrop where three people, including the suspected gunman are dead after a chase and shootout Saturday afternoon. State police say this started just before three o'clock when the male suspect stole a truck owned by a plumbing company and then crashed it into a building. The suspect, then fled on foot and his belief Believed to have shot two bystanders in the area. Both of them died from their injuries. Winthrop police arriving on the scene and then shooting the suspect. Residents describe the scene to WBZ TV s lease aggression came flying down. Surely three minutes. Well, apparently he bought sleep on the bus. It was In the boss until the end of the school day. Ray says her son is a high functioning autistic 13 year old. Last Thursday, he was put on the school bus from his house, and everything would be fine. He never made it to school that day. Jamie was supposed to been dropped off here at his school at the Central Mass Collaborative. Instead, he was left on the school bus by himself for about six hours. School officials are looking at their protocols to see what went wrong and to make sure this doesn't happen again. Do you feel awful? You know that we have any child be left on the bus Superintendent Marine, Belinda says. We're only five other students on the special needs bus that day, along with the driver and the bus monitor. School officials say both the driver and bus monitor have been placed on paid administrative leave pending the outcome of his ongoing investigation. Dozens displaced by parapet collapse at apartment building in Malden, near Boston
"Of people forced out of their home after a partial roof collapse out of mold in apartment building WBZ TV. Stephanie Chan spoke with some of the tenants. Former Boston Police Chief Davis: Kill Switch In Every Police Cruiser ‘Would Be A Good Thing’
"Yesterday's Rockland 7 11 robbery shot and killed by police after stealing a police cruiser. And then leading officers on a chase through six South shore communities. Here's WBZ TV is Christina Rex, WBZ security analyst and former Boston Police commissioner Ed Davis says. What makes this case unique is not the stolen cruiser but the length of the chase and the amount of times the suspect managed to escape police. Each one of those individual things happens. Really frequently but combined together, this is an unusual circumstance. Leach was shot and killed by police once they finally stopped him in Quincy after a long effort by hostage negotiators. They say he came out of the cruiser brandishing a police rifle. So when the suspect being guarded by officers on the SWAT team to drop the weapon He doesn't comply and starts to make aggressive moves with the police. Only thing they can do is fire. While the unfortunate end of the chase may have been unavoidable, Davis says there's technology in some police cars that prevent them from being stolen, called the kill switch.
