I had to do a college basketball game because I forgot what it was, but the announcers couldn't make it. I don't know what it was. It's when I lived in east Texas and I did one game. East Texas baptist university versus Wiley college. Yeah. And it was the big rivalry, and I don't know how many thousands of people were there, but I never done anything like that before, and I did okay. Yeah. It was just, it was an exciting game. And went down to the wire, I'm like, wow. I did okay. Now, I gave it to a couple of people back then that were sports announcers and went, ah, you really suck, you know? I would think that the excitement for those people that do it will carry them often through a game. But you've got to be obviously you've got to be prepared. You've got to know the player. You've really got to be and you've got to be good on the fly. And very good. And I knew basketball because I played so much. So I knew I knew the right things to say, you know, I knew when somebody was in pain. I knew the top of the key. The baseline. I knew the terminology in order to be able to do it. But I'll tell you this. It was as good as when I did stand up comedy and killed. It was as good. I mean, I had an adrenaline rush that lasted all day, and it was a constant adrenaline rush, you know, once you got going, it was an I didn't want the game to end. And the funny thing is, I didn't care who won. All I cared about was the fact of I get to announce it and there was such adrenaline in the exciting moments of it, which I thought was really, really cool. So when I maybe sometimes just get so excited about talking about great sportscasters, it's because I did it once and I know what the adrenaline rush is like on it and it's really good. Yeah, I would imagine, especially those that work for a team, the voice of a team and the team is doing well. Yeah, oh yeah. You know? Yeah. Well, I got mine blank here. Our friend who does the Mavs. Oh, chuck cooperstein. Chuck coopers team. Sorry chuck, a total walking sports cycle. Yeah, he really is. And he's a coop is really. I mean, his brain is just, I've never seen it. Yeah, he's really, he's really good at what he does. When we work together at WB AP, and he would be on after he wasn't beyond with me because he would fill in for the great sportswriter and also radio host Randy Galloway, retired a few years back was with the Fort Worth star telegram, the Dallas morning news was, but and I golf a coupe one time. We golfed it and it was a great time. I had fun time with him. Great guy. Miss him not being around. But if there's a magic game on you, you can hear him, I can always hear him, but I did see him probably about 15 years ago at a Mavs game. Right. I didn't see him there and it was great to see him, but yeah, he's a walking encyclopedia. He's on his show on BAP back in the day. He was just ramble off these stats. I know. You know, he's got people feeding him stuff. He's got several computers and nope. He would just ramble things off. And, you know, that takes a very special type of brain. It does.

ERCOT Says Power Able To Be Restored For Majority Of Affected Dallas Residents
"To be restored amid the severe winter storm. The Electric Reliability Council of Texas has some good news for residents. W B A. P S Clayton level is live in NORTH Dallas. Electric companies are still restoring outages in the field, some whether related outages, but those forced outages. They are being lifted across Texas right now, Energy companies have been directed by the Electric Reliability Council of Texas to stop with the forced outages.
